- 0:38Speaker 2: I don't joy?

- 0:59Speaker 1: You don't do that.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Love.
- 1:06Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 6: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Go to turn the mouth the turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn mouth water the mon up. Come come on you,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 5: on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 7: Man.
- 2:14Speaker 5: If y'all only knew, I think I'll tell you to
- 2:16Speaker 5: you this morning man started off real crazy. But it's
- 2:21Speaker 5: just those little mishaps where we as people who are
- 2:25Speaker 5: striving to be successful that makes all the difference in
- 2:30Speaker 5: the world. When you have those little minor things that
- 2:33Speaker 5: come up, you can't let the minor things stop you.
- 2:36Speaker 5: You've got to keep pressing forward. Now, Could I have
- 2:40Speaker 5: played the role of where is my car? Where is
- 2:43Speaker 5: my car?
- 2:44Speaker 6: Oh?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Where is my car? Instead of hustling and grab a cab?
- 2:50Speaker 1: So what am I? Am I above a cab ride?
- 2:53Speaker 6: Now?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Or do I have to look at the bigger picture
- 2:56Speaker 5: and say, okay, I could act like a little spoiled
- 2:59Speaker 5: brat some type of star and go I don't ride
- 3:02Speaker 5: in cabs, or where's my car? And then go to
- 3:04Speaker 5: blaming people for not having a car, or do I
- 3:07Speaker 5: make the adjustments because ain't like I ain't been in
- 3:09Speaker 5: a cab before, now slow down. Ain't like I ain't
- 3:11Speaker 5: never been in a in a beat up car before?
- 3:14Speaker 5: Slow down? Ain't ever like I ain't never had a
- 3:17Speaker 5: car and rode a bus before. Slow down. Ain't like
- 3:21Speaker 5: I ain't never been homeless before, and they have nowhere
- 3:24Speaker 5: to go? Slow down. So in those moments right there,
- 3:28Speaker 5: always remember where you come from, but even more importantly,
- 3:32Speaker 5: always remember where you trying to go, because it's important
- 3:36Speaker 5: for me that I get here as many mornings as
- 3:39Speaker 5: I possibly can. It's important because that's the goal. And
- 3:42Speaker 5: so many people allow a minor things to stop them
- 3:45Speaker 5: on their road to success. And I'm giving you this
- 3:48Speaker 5: example today not to say hey, look at me, but
- 3:51Speaker 5: to say to you, hey, listen to me. There are
- 3:54Speaker 5: going to be a lot of things that's going to
- 3:56Speaker 5: happen along your way to being successful, and if you
- 3:58Speaker 5: allow the small things to star, there's no way you'll
- 4:01Speaker 5: make it. You've got to always press forward and stop
- 4:04Speaker 5: looking at the situation for what it is and look,
- 4:06Speaker 5: sometimes you have to take your hour off right now
- 4:09Speaker 5: and put your eye in the future. You know, God
- 4:11Speaker 5: has blessed me in so many ways. I mean, what
- 4:13Speaker 5: can I say? You know, I ask God for this
- 4:15Speaker 5: syndicated show. He gives me a syndicated show. Nia act
- 4:19Speaker 5: like I don't want to come to it. Hold on, man,
- 4:21Speaker 5: slow down. Did not you ask for this? Do I
- 4:24Speaker 5: not realize that there are certain people, man, who look
- 4:27Speaker 5: forward to this message in the morning. I've heard it
- 4:30Speaker 5: from people. So from the hundreds that I've heard it for,
- 4:35Speaker 5: that could represent thousands for all I know. So if
- 4:38Speaker 5: I think somebody's counting on me, I got to try
- 4:41Speaker 5: to get there and give something. So today I didn't
- 4:44Speaker 5: have any time at all to think about what I
- 4:45Speaker 5: might say. I just walk right in and the jingle
- 4:48Speaker 5: was playing, and so I decided to just tell you
- 4:51Speaker 5: about my day and maybe you can relate it to
- 4:53Speaker 5: something you going through along the way, because no matter
- 4:56Speaker 5: who you are, you're going to have some moments man,
- 4:59Speaker 5: where things are going on to happen. And like I
- 5:01Speaker 5: always tell my kids, and I just had this conversation
- 5:04Speaker 5: with my little girl. It ain't that things ain't gonna happen.
- 5:07Speaker 5: It's how you handle what happens that matters. But it
- 5:10Speaker 5: don't matter. It's how you handle what happens that's the
- 5:14Speaker 5: determining factor on where you get in life and how
- 5:17Speaker 5: soon you get there and how long you stay there.
- 5:20Speaker 5: That will always be a mishap, something that's gonna throw
- 5:26Speaker 5: you off. There will always be something man that could
- 5:29Speaker 5: deter you. That will be something somewhere, man, that will
- 5:33Speaker 5: make you doubt it. Now that you know that's gonna happen,
- 5:37Speaker 5: then let's talk about how you handle what happens, because
- 5:40Speaker 5: it's going to happen. So now what do you do
- 5:42Speaker 5: as a person when these moments come about in your life?
- 5:45Speaker 5: How do you handle?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Oh? Woe is me?
- 5:49Speaker 6: Oh?
- 5:49Speaker 1: I guess it wasn't meant to be. Well.
- 5:52Speaker 5: If the Lord wanted me to have this, I'd have that.
- 5:55Speaker 5: How many damn many times you hear people say that,
- 5:57Speaker 5: You know, man, it really irks me. Man, Stop using
- 6:01Speaker 5: God as your excuse. God ain't no excuse. God is
- 6:05Speaker 5: a reason. He's a reason why the good happens. He's
- 6:11Speaker 5: a reason.
- 6:12Speaker 1: He's not an excuse.
- 6:14Speaker 5: God don't have no excuses, and none of his scriptures
- 6:17Speaker 5: or writings not that I he just don't make excuses.
- 6:20Speaker 5: I would have done this. But you know there's a
- 6:24Speaker 5: scripture that says the poor will all shall always be
- 6:27Speaker 5: amongst us. Why that's got to be you. Yeah, he
- 6:31Speaker 5: said the poor will always be amongst us, because you know,
- 6:33Speaker 5: everybody ain't gonna follow the principles of success. But he
- 6:36Speaker 5: also said he came to give you life and give
- 6:39Speaker 5: it to you more abundantly. He said that too, But
- 6:42Speaker 5: oh no, you don't want to hear that because your
- 6:44Speaker 5: life kind of trip it out a little bit.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So now what you do with it?
- 6:47Speaker 5: Now, you twist it and you go to that one
- 6:50Speaker 5: little scripture that say well, the poor shall always be
- 6:53Speaker 5: amongst us. Well, that's put in there because that's that
- 6:57Speaker 5: suggests in case, see that's a just in case she
- 7:00Speaker 5: all don't want to follow the scriptures. That's just in
- 7:03Speaker 5: case you don't understand that faith without works is dead.
- 7:07Speaker 5: That's just in case you have not because you ask. Now,
- 7:11Speaker 5: it's just in case you don't believe and shall not
- 7:14Speaker 5: doubt he got all that in that. But in case
- 7:16Speaker 5: you don't want to do that, there is a scripture
- 7:19Speaker 5: that tells you what will happen if you don't do it,
- 7:22Speaker 5: And here it is the poor shall always be amongst us.
- 7:25Speaker 5: But then you get that when they say, well, that's
- 7:27Speaker 5: I guess that's the Lord's will, Lord's will, really, really,
- 7:31Speaker 5: really really that's amazing. I just don't believe that about him.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I don't believe that God created your life to be
- 7:40Speaker 5: a life of misery. I think that we make decisions
- 7:44Speaker 5: along the way that cause us to have lives of misery.
- 7:48Speaker 5: But I really really just don't believe that God created
- 7:52Speaker 5: you for that. I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know,
- 7:59Speaker 5: you gotta go all those years in prison, man, what
- 8:03Speaker 5: was it about? When you hear him speak, you understand
- 8:06Speaker 5: what it was about. He said he always knew he
- 8:09Speaker 5: would be free one day. Now, what he said he
- 8:13Speaker 5: never knew was he said he never knew that he
- 8:16Speaker 5: would be the president of that country. Oh my goodness,
- 8:21Speaker 5: what a long way around. But he could have set
- 8:25Speaker 5: there and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up
- 8:29Speaker 5: to paw and things like that. And they said whenever
- 8:32Speaker 5: young inmates used to come in. He was telling the
- 8:34Speaker 5: story one time of how young inmates used to come
- 8:37Speaker 5: into the prison. They all sit around and talk to
- 8:39Speaker 5: him about what they were doing and how many kids
- 8:41Speaker 5: they had in their lives, and it helped them keep
- 8:44Speaker 5: track of the outside a little bit, and it kept
- 8:47Speaker 5: a sense of time for them, and it reminded me
- 8:49Speaker 5: to talk about what they left behind, and it kept
- 8:52Speaker 5: them going because something.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Was greater on the other side.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Had he allowed that to stop him, had he allowed
- 9:00Speaker 5: the imprisonment, which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by
- 9:03Speaker 5: the way, then guess what he would have never been
- 9:06Speaker 5: the Nelson Mandela that we know today, a martyr, a leader,
- 9:10Speaker 5: a great force. People want to go around him. Even
- 9:13Speaker 5: people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:18Speaker 5: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:23Speaker 5: things are going to happen in your life. But it's
- 9:25Speaker 5: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:30Speaker 5: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:33Speaker 5: got in a cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:35Speaker 5: but at least let's go see, let's try.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I made it. Now.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Guess what that gives me another piece of information that
- 9:42Speaker 5: I have, and all I had to see it again today.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Guess what I said today? Man, sometime when it looked
- 9:48Speaker 5: like you ain't gonna make it, just go ahead on anywhere.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:50Speaker 5: I could still be back there at the hotel talking
- 9:52Speaker 5: about where my car, but I got up in here
- 9:55Speaker 5: made it.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So Now what y'all gonna do with it? Let's go.
- 9:58Speaker 3: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come.
- 10:06Speaker 5: It's a new day. It's another opportunity. It's another great blessing,
- 10:11Speaker 5: something else you've never seen before. You will never see
- 10:14Speaker 5: this day or moment again. It is a gift. It's
- 10:18Speaker 5: called the present. That's why they call it the present
- 10:22Speaker 5: because it is a present. It's a gift. He's wrapped
- 10:26Speaker 5: in the package with a bow on it. You ain't
- 10:28Speaker 5: never seen it before. And he gave it to you
- 10:30Speaker 5: and asked for it. He woke you up, and he
- 10:32Speaker 5: lets you have it. Thank you for the present. God,
- 10:34Speaker 5: let's take advantage of it. Let's make good on this
- 10:37Speaker 5: one today. Ease your mind a little bit, man, let
- 10:41Speaker 5: God control. I was watching something the other day online
- 10:44Speaker 5: that came across said, you get on a plane, you
- 10:47Speaker 5: don't know the pilot that yet you trust to.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You get on a bus, you don't know the driver,
- 10:53Speaker 1: but yet and still you relax and you trust to.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Why can't you do that with God? Put him in
- 10:59Speaker 5: charge your life. Let him drive your life. Sit back,
- 11:02Speaker 5: relax and trust him. He will get you there. If
- 11:07Speaker 5: a pilot can get you there and a bus driver
- 11:09Speaker 5: can get you there, what would make you think he
- 11:11Speaker 5: can't get you there. I'm just talking to myself right now,
- 11:14Speaker 5: but if you're listening, you can get in on this.
- 11:16Speaker 5: But I am definitely talking to myself right now. I
- 11:20Speaker 5: need this as good as anybody. See Hally Morning Show
- 11:22Speaker 5: jumping off baby Charlie Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 11:26Speaker 5: junior government named kill Spates the legend that is nephew.

- 12:02Speaker 1: I ask you this in a while, man, but what's
- 12:04Speaker 1: on your mind?
- 12:05Speaker 8: Oh?
- 12:06Speaker 9: Well, you know, man, that one universary coming up, that's
- 12:08Speaker 9: what I'm thinking about. Really hell yeah yeah yeah, one year.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited, you know.
- 12:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Just trying to figure out what this looked like, that's all.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Yeah, But what you well, can I give you? Can
- 12:28Speaker 5: I give you an example of suggestion? Yes, sir, that
- 12:31Speaker 5: part that line you just said, trying to figure out
- 12:34Speaker 5: what this looked like? Yeah, yeah, probably go quick figure.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Just started getting the idea. Yes, it's gonna be like that,
- 12:44Speaker 1: kind of like that Father's Day jam Be you had. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 7: For you.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, your day, let.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Me jameson junior. Only day you get from now. It's
- 13:03Speaker 5: your birthday and it will not touch hers. So you know,
- 13:09Speaker 5: all the mother holiday, these anniversaries and Valentine's Day.
- 13:13Speaker 1: That's not for the men. Okay, understanding, that's not that's
- 13:17Speaker 1: not your day. What you know, like a part of it.
- 13:21Speaker 10: But you know, so really I'm irrelevant.
- 13:25Speaker 1: As hell. He got it, say that again, So I'm
- 13:31Speaker 1: irrelevant as hell.
- 13:37Speaker 8: All right, guys, coming up in thirty two minutes after
- 13:40Speaker 8: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:43Speaker 8: that brank back.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Right after this you're listening morning show, It is time
- 13:49Speaker 3: now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:51Speaker 1: What you got for his new This is church fees.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We prays them every week.
- 13:56Speaker 6: Every two week we get some Jackie got them all
- 13:58Speaker 6: in there like a billy. I'm not my books? Is
- 14:02Speaker 6: there any way I can look at y'all's book now?
- 14:05Speaker 6: I just want and that's what the church wants to do.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Open up your books, you open up your mouth, church fee.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Let's go get up.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It is hello.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Hello, I'm trying to reach touch the church. Hey you
- 14:19Speaker 7: got her? Hey? How you doing? This is this is
- 14:21Speaker 7: brother Glenn from the church.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Hey, brother Glenn, how you doing?
- 14:24Speaker 7: I'm good, I'm good, I'm real good. Did you enjoy service? Boring? Oh?
- 14:28Speaker 4: I enjoyed it past the pastor brought it down?
- 14:34Speaker 7: Yes?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 14:36Speaker 7: That was a word for me, right right, right right?
- 14:39Speaker 4: So what do I owe the pleasure this call?
- 14:42Speaker 7: I wanted to give you some information that the that
- 14:45Speaker 7: the church has come up with, and we wanted to
- 14:48Speaker 7: let you know what was going on before next Sunday.
- 14:51Speaker 7: I didn't interrupt you.
- 14:52Speaker 4: No, No, I actually I may sound a little a
- 14:55Speaker 4: little off a little bit. I'm trying to get getting
- 14:57Speaker 4: ready for my little babies, my little darlings, and I'm
- 14:59Speaker 4: trying to Your voice sounds so familiar to me. It
- 15:03Speaker 4: just sounds so familiar. Trying to place that voice.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Okay, Well, you've seen me at the church quite a
- 15:07Speaker 7: few times.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I think I have I'm just trying to place it.
- 15:09Speaker 4: I can't place it right now, But what can I do?
- 15:12Speaker 7: Well, Nevertheless, I just wanted here's what's going on now.
- 15:15Speaker 7: You're aware that for the last the last six Sundays,
- 15:18Speaker 7: you've been actually coming into service late. Have you realized that, Yes.
- 15:23Speaker 4: I know, I'm sorry about that, but you know, yes
- 15:27Speaker 4: I have. I have my reasons though.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Okay, okay, Well, here's what's going on. The officials at
- 15:31Speaker 7: the church have gotten together and this is what they've
- 15:34Speaker 7: decided on, is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday,
- 15:39Speaker 7: there would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for
- 15:42Speaker 7: coming in and disrupting services. The fastest tide of service
- 15:47Speaker 7: being disrupted by people walking in late.
- 15:49Speaker 4: That that could not come at a worse time. I
- 15:52Speaker 4: don't have fifteen dollars to give. I don't have it.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Oh look, I'm sorry that we're late. I am We
- 16:02Speaker 4: are doing our best. I have three kids. I have
- 16:05Speaker 4: three young kids, two seven and nine, and they are
- 16:09Speaker 4: a handful and we do the best that we can
- 16:13Speaker 4: to get the church on time. And and to tell
- 16:15Speaker 4: you when we get there, it's during praise and worship.
- 16:19Speaker 4: I mean, that's ain't even preaching yet.
- 16:21Speaker 7: Sorry, I know it's not pass is not up yet,
- 16:24Speaker 7: but he's he's stating that people coming in. It just
- 16:27Speaker 7: seems very disruptive to the service that's going on. That's
- 16:30Speaker 7: so Nevertheless, like I said, this is a warning call,
- 16:32Speaker 7: you know, to let you know that if you are
- 16:34Speaker 7: late on next Sunday, then they will be charging you
- 16:37Speaker 7: fifteen dollars are late charge and actually you won't be
- 16:41Speaker 7: able to even come in until you until you paid.
- 16:44Speaker 2: A few ti dollars.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I can't even get in church with we Look, okay,
- 16:49Speaker 4: look I don't I don't owe nothing. I don't owe
- 16:51Speaker 4: you no explanations, but I need to tell you something.
- 16:55Speaker 4: We are me and my kids for the last few
- 16:58Speaker 4: Sundays that we've been late. It's because my car broke down.
- 17:02Speaker 4: We are on the bus man public transportation.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Okay, I mean, and I understand, I understand how sund
- 17:08Speaker 7: civilitized with everything that you're going through.
- 17:10Speaker 4: But why are you called if you understand? How are
- 17:11Speaker 4: you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what
- 17:13Speaker 4: I'm going through?
- 17:14Speaker 7: Well I didn't. First of all, I didn't know what
- 17:16Speaker 7: you were going Why are you raising your voice at me?
- 17:18Speaker 7: But why did you just raise your voice at me?
- 17:21Speaker 1: You know what?
- 17:22Speaker 4: You know what I think? You're raising your voice at me?
- 17:24Speaker 4: How dare you call me about this? About a feat
- 17:28Speaker 4: and I'm there at church? I got my key instead
- 17:31Speaker 4: trying to raise them up is the way they should go,
- 17:33Speaker 4: just like the Bible say. And you know why I
- 17:36Speaker 4: gotta do this or why I'm mad? Why we got
- 17:39Speaker 4: to catch the bus? Do you understand why that is?
- 17:41Speaker 7: Brother Glenn, No, I do not.
- 17:44Speaker 4: That is because they they Daddy ain't and they yes.
- 17:47Speaker 7: So it's Tracy. You got to calm down a little
- 17:49Speaker 7: bit now.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Oh Jesus help me, Jesus help me, Jesus.
- 17:52Speaker 7: Okay, listen, here's the deal. All I can do is
- 17:55Speaker 7: tell you this. I hope you can make it. Maybe
- 17:57Speaker 7: you can catch an earlier bus. You know what I
- 17:59Speaker 7: mean and get there a little earlier. But I'm just
- 18:02Speaker 7: stating the facts that as of next Sunday, if you
- 18:05Speaker 7: come in late, it's fifteen dollars late fee, and that's
- 18:07Speaker 7: what you'll pay in order to get in the service.
- 18:10Speaker 4: You know what, Well, maybe next Sunday I just won't
- 18:12Speaker 4: be there. How about that? You know, I'm already working
- 18:17Speaker 4: six days a week. The only day I have office Sunday,
- 18:20Speaker 4: I've been baking, breaking my back. Do you know I
- 18:22Speaker 4: work two jobs. I work two jobs, and they always
- 18:24Speaker 4: trying to take money out of my check, always trying
- 18:27Speaker 4: to pull me here and there, and I'm always tired.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I get two hours of sleep, and then now the
- 18:31Speaker 4: church wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me for
- 18:34Speaker 4: being at church when that's what I'm supposed to do.
- 18:37Speaker 7: But you're coming in late, though, sister Tracy.
- 18:40Speaker 4: You know what, you know what late ain't bad. Okay,
- 18:44Speaker 4: I might be delayed, but I ain't denied, and I'm
- 18:46Speaker 4: getting there the best way that I know how. For Oh,
- 18:49Speaker 4: the bus, I have to put my kids on the
- 18:51Speaker 4: school bus. And long as I have to get them
- 18:52Speaker 4: on the school bus, then I have to get on
- 18:54Speaker 4: the bus to myself to work because I don't have
- 18:56Speaker 4: a car, because they Daddy ain't doing nothing nothing for them.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Do you understand what I'm saying to you? I need
- 19:03Speaker 4: to understand that number one, it's what hit daddy. For two,
- 19:08Speaker 4: he in jail, been there about five years he ain't
- 19:11Speaker 4: and daddy number three she decided to go ahead and
- 19:14Speaker 4: walk out. And I ain't heard from that that trade
- 19:18Speaker 4: list in about seven months now. He knows we struggling.
- 19:21Speaker 4: He had to nerd to take my wallet too.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You don't.
- 19:23Speaker 4: You won't even understand what I'm going through. You don't
- 19:25Speaker 4: even understand that I'm trying to make a better life
- 19:27Speaker 4: for me and my children.
- 19:28Speaker 7: There is one more thing, sister Tracy, that the Church
- 19:31Speaker 7: wants you to know before next Sunday that you definitely
- 19:33Speaker 7: need to know.
- 19:34Speaker 4: What What more thing does the church want me to know?
- 19:36Speaker 4: It's not fifteen dollars.
- 19:37Speaker 7: The Trase just wants you to know that this is
- 19:39Speaker 7: nephew towing me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your
- 19:42Speaker 7: sister Patrece got me to prank phone call you.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I am gonna walk I'm what I'm no? Are you
- 19:54Speaker 4: you know I ain't got time for that you know,
- 19:57Speaker 4: I ain't got time for that. Oh hook for tree.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Your sister got you, all right, I got something for her.
- 20:06Speaker 4: How about that?
- 20:09Speaker 7: She told what she said? She tell my sister carpro down.
- 20:12Speaker 7: She says, she got these kids, you op me, are
- 20:14Speaker 7: struggling and struggling, and she's trying to make it. But
- 20:17Speaker 7: you gotta give a hard time. She just wanted, she wanted,
- 20:19Speaker 7: She wanted you to put She wanted to put a
- 20:21Speaker 7: smile on your face.
- 20:23Speaker 4: What she well, you want things settled out. I'm gonna
- 20:26Speaker 4: have to say she did.
- 20:27Speaker 7: Okay, right, Wow, Now that I know you y'all.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Were joking, and now I know this is nephew Tommy.
- 20:38Speaker 7: Hey, I gotta ask you something. Baby. What's the baddest
- 20:40Speaker 7: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:43Speaker 4: The Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 20:45Speaker 7: Baby?
- 20:48Speaker 3: All right, nephew, thank you? Coming up next to his ass,
- 20:51Speaker 3: the c l O. You're listening Harvey Morning Show?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Coming up.
- 20:57Speaker 8: In entertainment news, ice Cube said he was shunned by
- 21:00Speaker 8: Oprah and the View.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Mary J.
- 21:03Speaker 8: Blige is getting a radio show on WBLS, and Kylie
- 21:07Speaker 8: Jenner has a message for young girls getting plastic surgery
- 21:10Speaker 8: too early. That's all coming up. But right now it
- 21:14Speaker 8: is time to ask the clo. Louise in the DMV writes,
- 21:19Speaker 8: I asked to keep my two granddaughters for a week
- 21:22Speaker 8: this summer, but it's been a month. Whenever I talk
- 21:25Speaker 8: to my daughter, she claims she's too tired to come
- 21:28Speaker 8: and get them. The girls go back to school late August,
- 21:32Speaker 8: and I'm afraid they'll be with me until then. Should
- 21:35Speaker 8: I drive one hundred and thirty seven miles to drop
- 21:38Speaker 8: them off unannounced?
- 21:39Speaker 6: Hey?
- 21:41Speaker 1: Ye, I wouldn't.
- 21:44Speaker 5: But see this is you've just earned yourself for privilege. Now,
- 21:50Speaker 5: I wouldn't I let her come get them now? Next year,
- 21:54Speaker 5: guess what, you ain't dropping them off no more. Yeah,
- 21:59Speaker 5: you're not going on solid vacation next year. We're gonna FaceTime.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Oh so grandma off next summer.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Yeah it's well, we're gonna FaceTime. That's what I do
- 22:09Speaker 5: with my granddid face again, just as much enjoyment. Now
- 22:13Speaker 5: Marjorie has to be the hugging and playing with him.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I don't.
- 22:20Speaker 5: I think face tied. Yes, that's good, you know, noon,
- 22:28Speaker 5: I think it's a wonderful thing, you know. So, yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 5: she trifle and she did that I'm too tired, and
- 22:35Speaker 5: it's one hundred and thirty seven miles, so she too
- 22:37Speaker 5: tired to try. And that's true because she wearing herself out.
- 22:42Speaker 5: She a single live she cameo.
- 22:46Speaker 3: All right, Black Fatima and Harlem says.
- 22:51Speaker 8: I met my boyfriend at a restaurant for dinner, and
- 22:54Speaker 8: I walked up the block.
- 22:56Speaker 3: As I walked up the block, a man ran up
- 22:57Speaker 3: to me to compliment me on my dress.
- 23:00Speaker 8: My boyfriend saw the guy walking alongside me and assumed
- 23:04Speaker 8: I had another guy escort me to the restaurant. How
- 23:07Speaker 8: can I get him to believe that what he saw
- 23:09Speaker 8: was totally innocent?
- 23:12Speaker 5: Okay, I don't understand what you say. She was walking
- 23:15Speaker 5: boyfriend or this is how she met the guy.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 23:19Speaker 3: She met her boyfriend at a restaurant.
- 23:20Speaker 8: He was waiting for her at a restaurant for dinner,
- 23:23Speaker 8: and as she was walking up to meet him, a
- 23:25Speaker 8: man ran up to her to compliment.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Her on her dress.
- 23:29Speaker 8: You know, he says, I love your dress or whatever.
- 23:31Speaker 8: So her boyfriend saw the guy walking aside, you know,
- 23:34Speaker 8: alongside her, and he assumed that she had someone else
- 23:37Speaker 8: escort her to the restaurant.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yes see, you right there. That's that's what That's what
- 23:46Speaker 1: it looked like.
- 23:48Speaker 7: You know.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But if you're telling the truth, you're telling the truth.
- 23:53Speaker 5: See what makes it so hard to convince your man
- 23:55Speaker 5: is we are accustomed to life.
- 24:00Speaker 1: What you know, I would, I would, That's what I'd
- 24:06Speaker 1: go with it. I don't see nothing wrong with that.
- 24:12Speaker 3: So she told him the truth is still got in trouble.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, but see.
- 24:19Speaker 2: It was no lie.
- 24:20Speaker 5: You could have told he saw it with his old eyes,
- 24:24Speaker 5: you know all. You could have just said, well, you
- 24:26Speaker 5: didn't walk me. You sat in there and waiting, flipping.
- 24:31Speaker 5: I like this, Yeah, put him back on his heels.
- 24:36Speaker 5: You know, maybe you ought to start walking me to
- 24:37Speaker 5: the restaurant. I sat of sitting in there waiting, watching
- 24:40Speaker 5: he looking out the window, watching. Yeah, now yeah, I
- 24:45Speaker 5: like that.
- 24:46Speaker 7: I like.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Yeah, all right.
- 24:50Speaker 8: Moving on to Trina and Montgomery, Trina writes, my husband
- 24:54Speaker 8: is so concerned about crime that he put a tracker
- 24:57Speaker 8: on my car without telling me. I was at an
- 24:59Speaker 8: ex boyfriend's house getting a tune up when my husband
- 25:03Speaker 8: texted me and asked where I was. Trying to be funny,
- 25:06Speaker 8: I said I was with my side, dude, he texted
- 25:09Speaker 8: back I know I'm not gonna have to confess.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Wow, why would you make I see? Why would you
- 25:24Speaker 1: try to make a lie after truth that ain't hurt
- 25:31Speaker 1: one more time?
- 25:32Speaker 5: Let me see, let me let me let me ref no, no, no,
- 25:38Speaker 5: But why would you take a perfectly good life use
- 25:45Speaker 5: it acting as though it's.
- 25:48Speaker 1: The truth when clearly the truth will never do come
- 25:56Speaker 1: off somebody?
- 25:56Speaker 5: Okay, So now you actual ex dude's house getting the
- 26:01Speaker 5: tune up?
- 26:02Speaker 1: He said, where was you at? He said? I was
- 26:05Speaker 1: that my ex? Guys?
- 26:06Speaker 5: He said, I know, am I gonna have to confess
- 26:09Speaker 5: you just because you stupid?
- 26:16Speaker 3: What should she What should she have said?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Steve?
- 26:19Speaker 10: Stick with the tone up?
- 26:22Speaker 1: I was, I was getting the car tuned up to
- 26:27Speaker 1: tune up place. Hey, let me tell you something.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Your husband ain't so concerned with crime that he had
- 26:36Speaker 5: a track or put on your car. He concerned about
- 26:40Speaker 5: you having a tracker on your car. Don't stop crying.
- 26:46Speaker 2: That's what that.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Let's let's just go with the lie.
- 26:50Speaker 5: He told you he's so concerned with crime he put
- 26:54Speaker 5: a track on your car.
- 26:55Speaker 6: What that?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Don't stop. That ain't a tracker. That's called low jack
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's been on cars for years now is he the
- 27:07Speaker 1: only mechanic dog in Montgomery? See?
- 27:12Speaker 5: But why you should have You should have never just
- 27:14Speaker 5: said I went to get the cartooned up. Okay, then
- 27:18Speaker 5: why the trackers say you was at your ex boyfriend
- 27:21Speaker 5: house because he worked on cars? Gonna ass would have
- 27:26Speaker 5: been all right? But oh no, you gonna be I
- 27:31Speaker 5: was over my introduced house in the tune.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I know that car, she got up, he got tumbled up.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Am I gonna have to confess you're stupid?
- 27:40Speaker 5: You already did. But what the key to lion is?
- 27:45Speaker 5: It can't be nowhere around the truth.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I like it that way. You can't time together, y'all. Man,
- 27:55Speaker 1: y'all know he's so frustrating. This gets the point.
- 28:00Speaker 6: Can we do it big? Can we do it big
- 28:02Speaker 6: like the heart of lie? Maybe on a weekly basis,
- 28:05Speaker 6: and just teach people how to how to lie?
- 28:07Speaker 1: I can do it.
- 28:08Speaker 5: I can't do it any kind of anytime day. Ready,
- 28:13Speaker 5: I already know how we got one minute. Anybody want
- 28:16Speaker 5: to ask me something?
- 28:17Speaker 1: Don't okay?
- 28:18Speaker 5: Sureley asked me something? Well, you think the truth would matter?
- 28:20Speaker 5: Watch his HTA.
- 28:22Speaker 8: Okay, So, Steve, how how did you start your mentoring camp?
- 28:29Speaker 7: Oh?
- 28:29Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't.
- 28:32Speaker 3: You don't even have to lie about this.
- 28:34Speaker 5: But I'm just telling you how effective is the minnering
- 28:37Speaker 5: the minoring camp started me.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but you random line.
- 28:43Speaker 5: But he's gonna feel good at something. If you feel
- 28:49Speaker 5: good at something, you're gonna have to practice practice for
- 28:53Speaker 5: no reason at all.
- 28:56Speaker 3: What does your t shirt say?
- 28:58Speaker 1: I'm at my house in Atlanta. But that's the truth, all.
- 29:04Speaker 8: Right, coming up, we gotta go lying. All right, Thanks guys,
- 29:09Speaker 8: Entertainment News coming up next, you're listening hard morning show.
- 29:16Speaker 8: In Entertainment News, Ice Cube claims he was snubbed. He
- 29:20Speaker 8: was really snubbed by Oprah Winfrey and The View, as
- 29:23Speaker 8: they both declined his request to appear on their respective
- 29:27Speaker 8: TV shows. During Cube's appearance on Tucker Carlson's new Twitter show,
- 29:32Speaker 8: Cube recalled his failed attempts to be booked as a
- 29:34Speaker 8: guest on both programs, and he attributes it to his
- 29:39Speaker 8: polarizing view on various political matters. Cube told Tucker Carlson, quote,
- 29:44Speaker 8: a few of the hosts just really don't like where
- 29:46Speaker 8: I was coming from. That's what I was told by
- 29:49Speaker 8: the producers. I don't know if it was the producers
- 29:51Speaker 8: they were just copying out and using some of the
- 29:53Speaker 8: hosts to have me not explain myself. I've been on
- 29:58Speaker 8: there before. It's just when I've become an independent thinker.
- 30:02Speaker 8: I don't follow their brand of politics.
- 30:04Speaker 3: I guess.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Hmmm, well that's why you wasn't on.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Now next, all right, different, a little different now, Yeah, yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 5: All ices is going a little bit right right, all
- 30:26Speaker 5: ices ice cube, ice, tea, ice, milk, ice, coffee, iceberg, slim,
- 30:35Speaker 5: some ices, icy icy, all icy hot. All the ices
- 30:41Speaker 5: is kind of a little bit to the right right now.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 30:46Speaker 8: The Queen of hip hop, the Queen of Hip hop Soul,
- 30:49Speaker 8: Mary J. Blige, We'll be hosting a brand new radio show.
- 30:53Speaker 8: This is going to be on one of our sister stations,
- 30:57Speaker 8: one O seven point five w b l A.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Yes congratulations in New York.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yes, yes, say that. That is awesome.
- 31:09Speaker 8: That is awesome, Mary Jay, claimed DJ and the station's
- 31:13Speaker 8: creative program director, funk Master Flex confirmed the news during
- 31:17Speaker 8: his July twentieth show.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Wait a minute, Hold up, funk is that wbls.
- 31:22Speaker 3: A creative program director?
- 31:26Speaker 5: Man, that's my dude. He did a truck for me
- 31:28Speaker 5: one time. I had a full one for me my
- 31:31Speaker 5: truck for men time lots a good brother man.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah, very talented, young, no mortal, that's true. Flex like
- 31:44Speaker 1: you used to.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Flex explained that the untitled show will have Mary J.
- 31:50Speaker 8: Blige engage engaging in one of a like, one of
- 31:55Speaker 8: a kind conversations, let's say as she also curates a
- 31:58Speaker 8: playlist of her favorite records for listeners. Though an official
- 32:02Speaker 8: premiere date remains under wraps, the DJ Flex ensured it
- 32:07Speaker 8: is coming soon.
- 32:08Speaker 11: Well, like My life Mary every week on her show,
- 32:14Speaker 11: and I'm good.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I'm good with that.
- 32:19Speaker 3: So that's really good.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good. That's gonna win. That's winning
- 32:23Speaker 1: him right there.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Bls Yeah, Steve, she'll probably be calling you for some
- 32:28Speaker 8: inspiration on her new radio show and stuff.
- 32:30Speaker 3: You know what do I know?
- 32:33Speaker 7: Right?
- 32:39Speaker 1: All right?
- 32:39Speaker 8: And Kylie Jenner, you guys heard about this. She's recommending
- 32:43Speaker 8: that women wait to get plastic surgery until at least
- 32:47Speaker 8: after they've had children. During the season three finale of
- 32:50Speaker 8: The Kardashians, Kylie, who is twenty five years old, commented
- 32:54Speaker 8: on getting her breast ack minute before she became pregnant
- 32:57Speaker 8: with Stormy. She even remarked quote they were still healing
- 33:03Speaker 8: Kylie declared that despite getting them augmented, her natural breasts
- 33:06Speaker 8: are gorgeous, and as a result, she outright said she
- 33:10Speaker 8: wishes she never got them done to begin with. She
- 33:13Speaker 8: also suggested that people wait to have such procedures until
- 33:17Speaker 8: after they welcome children. She also slated that stated that
- 33:21Speaker 8: she would be heartbroken if her daughter, if her own daughter,
- 33:25Speaker 8: Stormy wanted to get her body done at nineteen, Kylie
- 33:28Speaker 8: wrapped up by declaring, I wish I could like be
- 33:32Speaker 8: her and do it all differently because I wouldn't touch anything.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so she has some regrets.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I saw that episode.
- 33:40Speaker 11: It was like she kind of well finally admitted to
- 33:43Speaker 11: getting class center because for a long time, well if
- 33:47Speaker 11: they were.
- 33:47Speaker 1: So beautiful, what you messed with them for exactly?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Well, I mean it's kind of the culture around her,
- 33:54Speaker 3: you know, at nine.
- 33:56Speaker 5: You know, I think, but Kardashians, is you there in
- 34:01Speaker 5: a huge generation of that. And I'm not saying it's
- 34:05Speaker 5: their fault, but so many young girls emulated the Kardashians.
- 34:11Speaker 5: That's a true thing, and that's why she can have
- 34:14Speaker 5: the voice to speak up against it. But anytime you
- 34:18Speaker 5: change yourself, and she ain't just talking about no breast now,
- 34:22Speaker 5: all them chins and noses and lips. Until your body
- 34:26Speaker 5: becomes what it's going to become. Messing with it too
- 34:30Speaker 5: early is crazy.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Yeah, she was nineteen and that's what she's saying.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You're right. After it doesn't fail, then get in there.
- 34:40Speaker 5: It's a good time to get it lifted. But see,
- 34:47Speaker 5: you know, augmentations can fall too, you know, just elasticity,
- 34:52Speaker 5: elasticity of a person's skin. It's so much can go
- 34:56Speaker 5: wrong in it. And then you look at the tragedy
- 34:59Speaker 5: that happened with DC young flies family. It's just tragic, man,
- 35:03Speaker 5: when something like that happens on a procedure that wasn't
- 35:07Speaker 5: life saving, you know what I mean. And there's always
- 35:12Speaker 5: a red sad, sad commentary, sad situation.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Man, that was a beautiful girl, Man, a beautiful girl.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, some are going in a counselor's nose. Job.
- 35:26Speaker 5: I was going, I was gonna get it thinned out,
- 35:32Speaker 5: pencil out, you know, make it look a little sharp.
- 35:35Speaker 7: You know.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I wanted to look like Michael on Off the Wall.
- 35:40Speaker 7: You know.
- 35:42Speaker 5: He was okay, okay, oh look who talking? Look who talking?
- 35:49Speaker 5: Man with the little feet in the little hands.
- 35:52Speaker 8: Coming up next, Tommy has a fashion question for his
- 35:55Speaker 8: uncle Steve. Right after this, you're listening show, all right,
- 36:01Speaker 8: Uncle Steve, your nephew has a fashion question for you.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I do now you spitting polish everywhere you go.
- 36:08Speaker 6: Here's something that I just I haven't figured this out
- 36:11Speaker 6: because normally, you know, fashions, they would go around and
- 36:15Speaker 6: you know, three four years or they'll come back around,
- 36:17Speaker 6: Like when I was a kid, bail bottoms would come
- 36:19Speaker 6: back around after a while.
- 36:21Speaker 1: But now I don't know what it is. Is it
- 36:22Speaker 1: wide leg? Is it skinny leg? Is it just regular?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Is it skinny jeans? Is out?
- 36:29Speaker 5: I know that, Okay, my sons and told me that,
- 36:32Speaker 5: but I never wore skinny jeans anyway. Keithy Waring's skinny
- 36:35Speaker 5: jeens as you should be a skinny person. That's the
- 36:38Speaker 5: only rule I know. Flair leg and wide leg pants
- 36:42Speaker 5: are very much in right now, but straight leg suits
- 36:45Speaker 5: are still okay to wear because me and not gonna
- 36:48Speaker 5: do this. So straight leg suits are perfectly fine. You know,
- 36:51Speaker 5: I got flare leg pants and stuff like that because
- 36:54Speaker 5: you know, I just I'm a little more into it.
- 36:57Speaker 5: But you don't have to go that route. Great legs
- 37:00Speaker 5: suits are still that way. Men's fashion don't change as
- 37:05Speaker 5: much as women's fashion. Women's fashions change all the time
- 37:08Speaker 5: because they're proverbial shoppers. If you did that to men,
- 37:11Speaker 5: you be out of business because we're not going down
- 37:13Speaker 5: there to get another another pair of shoes.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So, yeah, you don't have to.
- 37:18Speaker 6: I don't go ahead. Oh here's another question. As an entertainer,
- 37:23Speaker 6: how many times can you wear a suit publicly or
- 37:28Speaker 6: as an entertainers as a performer?
- 37:33Speaker 1: What you mean before? So I said, before people start
- 37:36Speaker 1: saying that's all you got exactly.
- 37:42Speaker 5: You know, special pieces and special pieces, and you got
- 37:48Speaker 5: to realize it just for special times. Now, if you
- 37:51Speaker 5: can't afford to do that, then don't buy them pieces
- 37:54Speaker 5: that every time. Like I give you example, the very
- 37:56Speaker 5: first suit I ever bought was Elevender pin striped suit.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Well that was a mistake because I wanted to I
- 38:04Speaker 5: needed to wear it a lot because the only suit
- 38:06Speaker 5: I have, But I got it for Easter.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Every time I wore the suit, guess what they called
- 38:10Speaker 1: me Easter.
- 38:14Speaker 5: You know, if i'd have got something more subdued or
- 38:17Speaker 5: brown or gray, I could award and dressed it up.
- 38:20Speaker 5: But you can't dress up a lavender pinstriped suit. It's
- 38:24Speaker 5: the lavender pin striped suit. You can put it on
- 38:26Speaker 5: with a green shirt if you want to.
- 38:28Speaker 1: It's used. Now you look like the Joker. So it's
- 38:31Speaker 1: just it's all of that.
- 38:32Speaker 5: But I don't think, man, Yeah, Temmy, I don't really
- 38:36Speaker 5: think you have a problem, man, because you're doing well
- 38:39Speaker 5: with your dress, your tire is good, and plus, I
- 38:41Speaker 5: mean you gotta look at it like the G I
- 38:43Speaker 5: Joe fashion has been the same man since the sit
- 38:45Speaker 5: right there, you know, g I Joe, he's been wearing
- 38:52Speaker 5: the same thing about. You know, let's go on down
- 38:57Speaker 5: there in the big dog session.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Guy in that red that you had on. You can't
- 39:06Speaker 3: wear that anymore, Tommy, okay.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Wear that no more? Look good? It did it?
- 39:12Speaker 5: Did?
- 39:13Speaker 6: Man?
- 39:13Speaker 1: You be posted all right?
- 39:16Speaker 3: Coming up, coming up next, Sister Odell. We haven't heard
- 39:21Speaker 3: from her in a while. Sister Odell in the building
- 39:24Speaker 3: right after this, you're listening Morning show. We have to
- 39:29Speaker 3: welcome back ladies and gentlemen.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Sister Odell. Hey, let alone, let alone, let all of

- 40:13Speaker 5: I'm least the Stanfield, being around the well.
- 40:15Speaker 1: And a ya ya, I can't find my baby.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Did you? Did you go on vacation with Stephen Marjory?
- 40:26Speaker 1: No, they don't care me out there with them.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Oh they don't because you know you could save souls
- 40:31Speaker 3: out there.
- 40:32Speaker 10: You know.

- 40:46Speaker 1: been girl is hot, he's hot. And now this is
- 40:48Speaker 1: the way the statement come from hot as hell. Yes,
- 40:54Speaker 1: that's what it is.
- 40:55Speaker 7: You know.
- 40:55Speaker 1: It was a slave.
- 40:56Speaker 5: I remember the slave Rufous rufous tea roovers T was
- 41:01Speaker 5: the first one I here. We was out there one
- 41:03Speaker 5: day picking and Ruper looked up and Roope saying, it's
- 41:05Speaker 5: hot as hell. Everybody went, well hot the hell? You know,
- 41:09Speaker 5: hew you been there? And he said, well, if it's
- 41:12Speaker 5: this hot, I.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Don't want to go.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And all the slaves with you know, they hollered left.
- 41:21Speaker 1: That That was rube T. This is litten. See the
- 41:23Speaker 1: black history monk, y'all know the ruver T. When they
- 41:26Speaker 1: find out. He was funny. The rufered T on Saturday.
- 41:29Speaker 5: Nights and after slave people the slave owners had went
- 41:33Speaker 5: to bed.
- 41:36Speaker 1: You know, they had odd r TCC.
- 41:39Speaker 6: What was that?
- 41:41Speaker 1: That was the rufous T Comedy club Man.
- 41:46Speaker 5: He was the only performer. He was the only world performer.
- 41:49Speaker 5: He's going around the shack and just be cracking them people.
- 41:52Speaker 5: We been there there and hollering. He was imitating all
- 41:55Speaker 5: the white people.
- 41:58Speaker 8: Well, sister, did you did you hear about Quincy Jones
- 42:01Speaker 8: ninetieth birthday celebration ninety? He made ninety. He was honored
- 42:07Speaker 8: with a two day event at the Hollywood Bowl in LA?
- 42:09Speaker 8: Did you hear about that?
- 42:11Speaker 1: Remember me? I know Quincy?
- 42:13Speaker 3: Oh you know Quincy Jones? Really?
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:16Speaker 3: I didn't know that. How did you meet him?
- 42:20Speaker 7: How do you know?
- 42:20Speaker 6: Now?
- 42:21Speaker 1: I knew it? I knew Quence your grandfather.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Oh?
- 42:24Speaker 3: Oh, what was his name?
- 42:28Speaker 1: Sticky Jones?
- 42:31Speaker 3: Quinny Sticky though?
- 42:33Speaker 1: What sticky?
- 42:35Speaker 5: Tricky sticky? So now, yeah, Joe, he was a molasses farmer.
- 42:42Speaker 5: That's why he got the nickname sticky. Oh, because even
- 42:46Speaker 5: when he came to church, he didn't.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Never wash his hands.
- 42:48Speaker 5: It's always sticky. You shake his hand and be stuck
- 42:51Speaker 5: to I go, this man right here. You don't get
- 42:54Speaker 5: this molasses. I'm under your fingernails because it ups out
- 42:57Speaker 5: on your hands on Sundays. And that's why we start
- 43:00Speaker 5: to call him sticky. But I knew Quincy Quince a
- 43:02Speaker 5: wonderful music person, make wreck and everything. That's why he
- 43:06Speaker 5: wanted a great you know, one of the greats. You know,
- 43:10Speaker 5: nothing like they doing nowadays, these kids music. Now, he
- 43:14Speaker 5: needs some Quincy one. He ain't writing songs about nothing.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Quincy produced thriller. You better talk to you know what
- 43:22Speaker 1: I mean? Thriller secret guard All yeah, we down the
- 43:27Speaker 1: walk now. Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 5: Ain't nothing secret about that, is he? I'm about to
- 43:39Speaker 5: cut out the band. When I heard him singing, I said,
- 43:41Speaker 5: I know these nasty helpers ain't sitting up in here
- 43:44Speaker 5: singing about this thing.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I know, good walls, you singing about your thing?
- 43:49Speaker 7: Wow?
- 43:51Speaker 1: No, No, what did we coming to? Well?
- 43:58Speaker 5: I guess it's might as well saying about that, because
- 44:01Speaker 5: DAP would be a boring ass song.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Midel was so glad he stopped.
- 44:10Speaker 1: By, as always appreciate them, Yes, ma'am.
- 44:16Speaker 8: Coming up next to his the nephew and the prank
- 44:18Speaker 8: phone call for today right after this.
- 44:21Speaker 3: You're listening hard morning show.
- 44:25Speaker 8: Well, coming up at about four minutes after the hour,
- 44:28Speaker 8: it's my Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is
- 44:31Speaker 8: he doesn't realize he married a black woman. We'll get
- 44:34Speaker 8: into that, find out what that's all, and just a
- 44:38Speaker 8: few exactly, but right now it's time, real quick. Right now,
- 44:44Speaker 8: it's time for the nephew in today's prank phone call.
- 44:47Speaker 3: What you got for his ne f?
- 44:49Speaker 6: I got some for you. This is something I think
- 44:51Speaker 6: we should be bringing back. You know, that's just my
- 44:55Speaker 6: my my thought. I think so, but you know, I
- 44:58Speaker 6: don't know how y'all think about it. This is right
- 44:59Speaker 6: here is corporal punish corporal. Don't you don't get tight,
- 45:06Speaker 6: I don't getting hands hands on the wall.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Okay, bring me that battle.
- 45:13Speaker 1: My mama used to say, I want it in the
- 45:15Speaker 1: al when I come in there. I want it in now.
- 45:21Speaker 6: When I come in now, I'm telling you I want
- 45:23Speaker 6: it in the air. If it ain't and as everything
- 45:25Speaker 6: gonna get hit everything, so it would behoove you to
- 45:28Speaker 6: get it in there. That's when I first learned behoove.
- 45:30Speaker 6: It would behoove you to get it in as you
- 45:33Speaker 6: gotta so it worked, Yes, Mama, want it in the
- 45:40Speaker 6: alf This is right? Is corporal punishment. Let's go catch though.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Hello. Hello, I'm I'm trying to reach a mister.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Cotton msmss Cutting.
- 45:52Speaker 6: Okay, can you turn your radio or TV down? I
- 45:55Speaker 6: can't really hear you.
- 45:56Speaker 7: Oh yes, sir, My.
- 45:58Speaker 6: Name is mister Lanson. I'm actually the principle here at
- 46:01Speaker 6: middle school.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And what's the name again, mister Lanson?
- 46:05Speaker 7: Mister Lanson?
- 46:06Speaker 6: Okay, your your son he attends middle school here? Am
- 46:09Speaker 6: I correct?
- 46:10Speaker 7: Yes, sir?
- 46:10Speaker 1: Okay, good listen. I'm the new principal here.
- 46:14Speaker 6: We've just replaced the last principal, and I'm actually calling around.
- 46:18Speaker 6: What I've done is when I before I got here,
- 46:20Speaker 6: I asked for a list of students that were you know,
- 46:24Speaker 6: I'm not going to say problem kids, but you know
- 46:26Speaker 6: that kind of get themselves in a little trouble here
- 46:28Speaker 6: and there. And your son's name happens to be on
- 46:31Speaker 6: the list.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Name is on that list.
- 46:33Speaker 6: Yes, I got about I got about thirty five kids
- 46:36Speaker 6: that are actually on this list, and your son is
- 46:40Speaker 6: actually on the list.
- 46:41Speaker 1: And you are, mister Cotton.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Correct I am mister Cotton. I mean, are you sure
- 46:46Speaker 2: you speaking about.
- 46:47Speaker 6: My son though, Yeah, I mean there's only there's only
- 46:50Speaker 6: one on the list, sir. I'm it's it's it's what's
- 46:54Speaker 6: been given to me. And what what I'm doing is
- 46:56Speaker 6: calling around to all of the parents of the kids
- 46:59Speaker 6: that are on this list and letting you guys know
- 47:01Speaker 6: that I'm going to be keeping a closed eye on
- 47:03Speaker 6: them as well as letting you know that I'm going
- 47:06Speaker 6: to be reinstating corporal punishment here in the school.
- 47:09Speaker 7: So so what's that.
- 47:12Speaker 6: That's actually where if your son gets sent to the office,
- 47:15Speaker 6: which is my office, then there will be paddling going on.
- 47:18Speaker 6: And opposed to I don't believe in I don't believe
- 47:21Speaker 6: in I don't believe in suspension. I believe in you know,
- 47:25Speaker 6: if we spank these kids, we can get them back
- 47:27Speaker 6: in order. So, sir, here's my thing. I really truly
- 47:32Speaker 6: believe that we get back to you know, and I
- 47:34Speaker 6: don't mean what I'm about to say to be harsh,
- 47:36Speaker 6: but if we get back to beaten, we'll get these
- 47:38Speaker 6: kids back in order.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I mean, but I know he had troubled in English,
- 47:42Speaker 2: but I don't think that's a call for beaten.
- 47:46Speaker 6: No, no, no, this has nothing to do with great, sir.
- 47:48Speaker 6: This has to do with punishment. And what I'm understanding
- 47:50Speaker 6: is if your son is on my list, and if
- 47:53Speaker 6: your son comes down to my office, I'm gonna take
- 47:56Speaker 6: care of it right then and there.
- 47:57Speaker 2: If my son come to your offer, you're gonna be
- 47:59Speaker 2: on my damn.
- 48:00Speaker 6: This, sir.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to get these kids back in order.
- 48:03Speaker 6: That's the reason why I've been brought in and I've
- 48:05Speaker 6: replaced the last principle you understand. So what I need
- 48:08Speaker 6: from you is to get to get a great understanding
- 48:11Speaker 6: that if your child comes to my office, corporal punishment
- 48:14Speaker 6: will be what he's going to deal with.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Okay, I'll tell you what. Let my son come home
- 48:19Speaker 2: and tell me he got some damn corporal punishment, and
- 48:21Speaker 2: the next morning me and you're gonna do some corporal punishment.
- 48:23Speaker 6: Sir, Do you want your child in order or do
- 48:26Speaker 6: you want to be bailing his butt out of jail
- 48:27Speaker 6: at the age of eighteen.
- 48:28Speaker 2: They're gonna be bailing me out of jail if you
- 48:30Speaker 2: put your damn hands on my son.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Okay, are you taking care of your son punishment wise?
- 48:35Speaker 3: At home?
- 48:36Speaker 1: You need to my son.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Don't get me no damn trouble.
- 48:40Speaker 6: Okay, here, here's the problem, parents not believing that their
- 48:45Speaker 6: children get in any trouble.
- 48:47Speaker 1: That's the first part.
- 48:48Speaker 2: I got email. I got a phone call. So the
- 48:51Speaker 2: first phone call I get is going straight down whipping it.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Ain't no letter, sit home, ain't no email, sit home,
- 48:56Speaker 2: saying day it's a problem.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't, sir.
- 48:59Speaker 6: I'll you know, I'm gonna come down here. I'm gonna
- 49:02Speaker 6: tell you once again, I am not going to send
- 49:06Speaker 6: your son to detention. I'm not gonna call you. I'm
- 49:09Speaker 6: gonna take care of my job. My job is to
- 49:11Speaker 6: make it.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna take care of mine when you take care
- 49:13Speaker 2: of your, I'm gonna take care of mine. And that
- 49:15Speaker 2: protect my son and you put your hands on him,
- 49:18Speaker 2: and we got a problem.
- 49:20Speaker 6: We're gonna have a problem because nine time, I'm telling you,
- 49:23Speaker 6: right now, I'm calling you and giving you the warning.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Your son will be dealt with.
- 49:26Speaker 2: And you're gonna be dealt with, will.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Be dealt with on a regular basis if needs be.
- 49:31Speaker 2: You're gonna get dealt with on a regular But you're
- 49:33Speaker 2: gonna get tired of seeing me.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Okay, sir, do I need to actually have corporal punishment
- 49:38Speaker 1: with you.
- 49:38Speaker 2: I tell you what, when you do, when you bring
- 49:40Speaker 2: that corporal punishment to me, you better have the police
- 49:42Speaker 2: there because they gonna need corporal punishment. They gonna need
- 49:45Speaker 2: whatever hell they gonna need to swat team. When I
- 49:48Speaker 2: get down and you put your hands on my son,
- 49:50Speaker 2: I know that all them.
- 49:51Speaker 1: You know what, sir, Maybe maybe maybe the swipper needs
- 49:54Speaker 1: to start with you.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Matter of fact, what time do you go to lunch?
- 49:59Speaker 2: If we can do this in front of the cafeteria
- 50:01Speaker 2: and let all the kids see the damn principal get
- 50:04Speaker 2: his damn corporal punishment, Sir, sir, I'm not.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't. I don't fear you, Kirsonally.
- 50:09Speaker 2: You're the fair of me because I want you to
- 50:11Speaker 2: stand there and take your whipping like a man. I
- 50:13Speaker 2: don't want to chase your run on like no little
- 50:15Speaker 2: ground in school, Sir, Sir, sir.
- 50:17Speaker 6: The bottom line is corporal punishment is being instated. Your
- 50:20Speaker 6: son is gonna abide by it. You're gonna have to
- 50:22Speaker 6: accept it, or maybe maybe you need to tell.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You what you say. You got thirty five names on
- 50:26Speaker 2: your list, it better be thirty four. Can God name,
- 50:28Speaker 2: but not be on no corporal punishment list.
- 50:31Speaker 6: I know that, sir, Sir, listen, He's not on a
- 50:33Speaker 6: corporal punishment list. He's on a list of kid of
- 50:37Speaker 6: kids that act up from.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Time to time.
- 50:38Speaker 2: My damn son don't act up. My son is a
- 50:41Speaker 2: model student. He got a little trouble with English, you know,
- 50:44Speaker 2: because his mama a little slow. But that's my dad.
- 50:46Speaker 2: I did that. You know what I'm saying.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You know what, Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to
- 50:50Speaker 1: the child.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Right now, you're talking to a grown man. And if
- 50:54Speaker 2: you put your hands on my son, you're gonna see
- 50:55Speaker 2: that I'm a grown man. When I come down now,
- 50:58Speaker 2: I only want to put my hands on my bed,
- 51:00Speaker 2: I'm sir.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Then, I guess it's gonna be a lot of kicking circle.
- 51:03Speaker 2: It's gonna be some kick and you line them up
- 51:05Speaker 2: system principal, Principal, I kick the cabeterilator. So I come down. Man,
- 51:10Speaker 2: if she got something to say, you're gonna.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Watch your tone.
- 51:12Speaker 6: You understand me, and you're gonna you're gonna take what
- 51:15Speaker 6: I'm telling you. I don't care what you're saying. Everybody's
- 51:19Speaker 6: gonna bide. I put chains on the door.
- 51:22Speaker 2: I make sure Joe Clop putting change your name with
- 51:26Speaker 2: lancem you Joe Klop.
- 51:28Speaker 6: I'm mister Lanson, and these kids are gonna abide by
- 51:30Speaker 6: what I want, and so are the parents. And damn
- 51:33Speaker 6: it you, mister Cotton, you're gonna have to toughen up
- 51:35Speaker 6: and let me do my damn job.
- 51:37Speaker 2: I tell you what. Then, you're gonna do what you
- 51:39Speaker 2: got to do today. But when I get down there,
- 51:41Speaker 2: you better have the police.
- 51:42Speaker 1: When I get there, I tell you who else I'm
- 51:44Speaker 1: gonna have here.
- 51:45Speaker 2: If you tell me who you're gonna have down that is,
- 51:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna.

- 54:14Speaker 6: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:17Speaker 8: Subject he doesn't realize he married a black woman. Dear
- 54:21Speaker 8: Stephen Shirley, I've been married ten months, and we might
- 54:24Speaker 8: not make it to a full year. We dated for
- 54:27Speaker 8: a year before we got married, and we didn't live
- 54:29Speaker 8: together until a week after our wedding. I switch up
- 54:33Speaker 8: my hairstyle often, but I never let my man see
- 54:36Speaker 8: me when my wigs were off, and he'd never seen
- 54:39Speaker 8: me without foundation on. I kept it cute sexy for him.
- 54:43Speaker 8: I kept it cute and sexy for him until I
- 54:46Speaker 8: got the ring. I showed him my representative and I
- 54:49Speaker 8: was always well put together for him. We got a
- 54:52Speaker 8: home together, and I put my wigs in the dining
- 54:55Speaker 8: room temporarily. He had a fit about them being in there,
- 54:59Speaker 8: and one day I came home from work and he
- 55:01Speaker 8: had already put them in the guest room on the floor.
- 55:04Speaker 8: I had a good conversation with him about handling my
- 55:07Speaker 8: stuff without consulting me first. He has four sisters, and
- 55:10Speaker 8: I know their Caucasian, but they wear wigs and hair
- 55:14Speaker 8: pieces too. We all got our hair done together for
- 55:17Speaker 8: the wedding, so I saw it. This weekend. He walked
- 55:20Speaker 8: in on me in the bathroom and he saw me
- 55:22Speaker 8: with all of my makeup completely off, and I was
- 55:25Speaker 8: plucking a hair from my chin. He was totally turned off.
- 55:29Speaker 8: He did have to say it because it showed in
- 55:32Speaker 8: his face at that moment. I decided to give him
- 55:35Speaker 8: the full black girl experience. When he got home from
- 55:38Speaker 8: work the next day, I had the wig off with
- 55:41Speaker 8: my corn rows showing. I took off the lashes and
- 55:45Speaker 8: I was walking around without a bra. He tried to
- 55:49Speaker 8: play off his surprised look, and he told me I
- 55:52Speaker 8: was beautiful anyway I chose to look. Then he asked
- 55:56Speaker 8: if the corn rows were my new hairstyle. I reminded
- 55:59Speaker 8: him that he's married to a real black woman. I
- 56:01Speaker 8: don't think it registered when we were dating. Should I
- 56:04Speaker 8: discuss this or should I let it slide?
- 56:08Speaker 3: No, you don't have to discuss it.
- 56:10Speaker 8: I mean, it's pretty clear that this letter is about
- 56:12Speaker 8: you and your wigs. That's basically what it is. And
- 56:18Speaker 8: although it seems like you went to great lanes not
- 56:20Speaker 8: to say it, you are married to a white man.
- 56:22Speaker 3: I mean we know this because you.
- 56:24Speaker 8: Said his sisters are Caucasian. I don't Caucasian. I don't
- 56:27Speaker 8: see what the big deal is because I know black
- 56:30Speaker 8: men that would probably be just as confused with you.
- 56:33Speaker 8: The problem in your mind is that you're a black
- 56:35Speaker 8: woman and you wear wigs. But his white sisters wear
- 56:39Speaker 8: wigs too, So I don't think that's it. You put
- 56:42Speaker 8: your wigs in the dining room, that's the issue. He
- 56:45Speaker 8: came in there and saw these wigs in the dining
- 56:48Speaker 8: room probably, you know, freaked him out a little bit
- 56:50Speaker 8: startled him. But didn't he tell you you're beautiful in
- 56:54Speaker 8: any way you want to look? Well, why didn't you
- 56:56Speaker 8: believe him? I just don't think even a brother will
- 56:59Speaker 8: want to walk into a dining room and see wigs
- 57:01Speaker 8: all over the place.
- 57:02Speaker 3: I just don't I wouldn't you know.
- 57:06Speaker 8: I just think they would think they were better suited
- 57:09Speaker 8: for the guest room as well. So let's just be clear.
- 57:12Speaker 8: You knew what you were doing all along. You didn't
- 57:15Speaker 8: let him know you wore wigs until you got married.
- 57:19Speaker 8: You said you sent your representative early on in the relationship.
- 57:23Speaker 8: You said you kept it cute and didn't let him
- 57:26Speaker 8: see you without hair and makeup until you got the ring.
- 57:29Speaker 8: Now it's gotten harder to keep it all together, and
- 57:31Speaker 8: you're mad at him because he's white. This just doesn't
- 57:35Speaker 8: make sense to me. It's not that you're a black woman.
- 57:38Speaker 8: He knew that when he married you and dated you.
- 57:40Speaker 8: That was pretty clear, right. It's just that you need
- 57:43Speaker 8: to keep your wigs and stuff in a designated area.
- 57:46Speaker 8: I know plenty of people who wear makeup and wigs
- 57:48Speaker 8: and weaves and pieces and all that. It's just a
- 57:51Speaker 8: sneaky way you went about all of this, That's what it.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Is to me.
- 57:55Speaker 6: Steve.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, Shirley, glad you were first.
- 57:58Speaker 5: Thank you for your attempt to make this letter, Palatapo
- 58:00Speaker 5: for the listening all this, But I'm not here for that.
- 58:03Speaker 5: That's just gonna cut down to it. Sain't got nothing
- 58:06Speaker 5: to do with them damn wigs sitting in that dining room.
- 58:08Speaker 5: I'ma tell you that right now. It's about the fact
- 58:11Speaker 5: that the white boy then finally found out who he
- 58:13Speaker 5: was really married to, and the representative that you showed
- 58:18Speaker 5: him did not tell the whole story.
- 58:21Speaker 1: That's what this damn that about. I don't give a
- 58:24Speaker 1: damn it if.
- 58:25Speaker 5: You put the wigs outside in the garage with the
- 58:27Speaker 5: lawn more, that ain't it. Here. The whole problem with
- 58:32Speaker 5: this letter right here, home girl that married the white dude,
- 58:37Speaker 5: and the white dude didn't know all that came with
- 58:40Speaker 5: the black girl. That's what this whole letter about. All women.
- 58:48Speaker 5: A lot of women wear pieces. They call it hot hair.
- 58:52Speaker 5: White girls got this stuff called hot hair. It come
- 58:56Speaker 5: on a strain and they raised their regular hair up
- 58:59Speaker 5: and they put it around they head like a band,
- 59:02Speaker 5: and then they dropped their hair over it to cover
- 59:05Speaker 5: the little strain and it adds lift to they hair.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with that. It looked full.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Almost every last one of them on ESPN got it on.
- 59:14Speaker 5: Just watch it ain't nothing wrong with that, some sisters
- 59:18Speaker 5: where we ain't nothing wrong with that. Your representative didn't
- 59:23Speaker 5: tell the white dude. The whole story y'all dated for
- 59:27Speaker 5: a year. You don't think if you gonna make it.
- 59:29Speaker 5: Where are you surprising him now? And some of the
- 59:31Speaker 5: stuff that you shocking him with is a big mundy.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 59:35Speaker 5: You switch up your hairstyle often, but you never in
- 59:38Speaker 5: a whole year. You ain't let your man see you
- 59:42Speaker 5: with your wigs off. And he never seen you without
- 59:45Speaker 5: foundation on. Now, let me tell you something. See seeing
- 59:49Speaker 5: you without makeup in one day? But when he when
- 59:54Speaker 5: you remove.
- 59:55Speaker 1: The foundation, that's the best called that the what's the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: base coat?
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: For all you men out there that don't understand us,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: if you find the paint or white, if you find
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: the paint over a.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Dark color with a light of color, you got the
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: prime that wall. First.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: You just can't go in that paint on that new
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: color on top of that other color because it's gonna
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: bleed through foundation base coat.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: You took that off.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Hang on, Steve, hang on, Okay.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Show you everything.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: We'll have part two of your.
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: Response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: Today's eleven subject is he doesn't realize he married a
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: black woman.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: We'll get back into it right after this you're listening
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: hard Morning show.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: The subject he doesn't realize he married a black woman.
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: Yeah, well, Shirley made the statementutes about where you put
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: your wings.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: This letter is clearly clearly this letters.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Answer, Well, that's nothing to do with this hill nothing
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: nothing them such wigs.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I don't care if you set it in a bowl
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: of cereal while you're eating your eggs. I don't care
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: that ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: Just what this problem is is you never your representative,
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: did not allow him to meet the real.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Person you dated for a year.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: You say, you switch up your hairstyles often, but you
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: ain't never let him see you with your wigs off.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: And he'd never seen me without foundation on. That's the
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: base coat, fellas in case y'all don't know, it's if
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: you prime in the wall, you got to put on
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: the base coat or some primal. The foundation is primal.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: Now I showed him my representative, and I was always
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: well put together for him.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: We got a home. Let me say, where's this line
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: exactly where she said you didn't let him see all
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: that you put in it. One day came on from
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: work and I had uh.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: He had a fit about them being now you put
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: them in the dining room temporarily.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: He had a fit about him being that.
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: One day I came home from work and he had
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: already put him in the guest room on the floor.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: I had a good conversation with him about handling my
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: stuff without consulting me first, as you should. He has
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: four sisters, and I know their Caucasian, but they wear
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: wigs and hair pieces too, because we all got our
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: hair gun done together for the wedding.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: So I saw it. This weekend. He walked in on
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: me in the bathroom.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: Now here we go here, what the problem at it?
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: And he saw me with all of my makeup completely off.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: That threw him a little bit.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: That threw it. That just threw him a little bit because.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: You said you always kept it cute and sexy for
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: him until I got the ring.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: See nah, y'all married.
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: And now he been seen, he looking at this right here.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: He walked in on me in the bathroom. He saw
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: me with all my makeup completely off, and I was
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: plucking a hair from my chin. That's the one right there.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: See that.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: All this man stuff going on. Listen, you gotta bid
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: see that ain't what I had. Foundation, that's what that
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: foundation for. Half followicles, you know, uh, pluck marks, that's
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: what that's what foundation do. Foundation hide cuts, scars, wounds,
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: ed uh, stubble, foundation hide stubble. Now, what messed him
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: up was you was in that picking hair out that
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: bearded area on you dash.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: What messed him up really because now he.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Got to really go through you know how things go
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: now you don't never know, so you know now here
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: and that hearing that picking pronoun now and he looking
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: in the mirror with pronoun anxiety going on, probably he
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: probably ain't not trying to figure out, well, what is not.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: What this letter?
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: Well, I'm just telling you for a brief moment, for
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: a brief moment, he was looking upside your head trying
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: to figure out if he needed to pick a new pronoun.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: I know y'all want to because that's not what the
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: letter is about.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: You know, you don't know what is about. Let Charley,
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: you talking about it, about where she putting him with.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: It said a lot of stuff, ain't it ain't got
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: nothing to do with this.
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: He was totally turned off. He didn't say it because
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: it showed on his face at that moment. I decided
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: him to give a full black girl experience when he
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: got home from work the next day. Oh, you're gonna
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: double up and do it again. See right here, So
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: you're showing out now, so you should have switched back up.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: But no, no, you're gonna double down on it. I
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: decided to give him the full black girl experience when
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: he got home next day. I had to wig off
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: my corn showing. I took off the lashes. I was
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: walking around without a brawl. He tried to play off
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: his surprise looking. He told me I was beautiful anyway.
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: I chose to look nice. Move that was too much
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: for him though. Then he asked if the con rolls
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: was my new hairstyle. Just curious now because you know
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: we finish over mom's nim housing. I reminded him that
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: he's married to a real black woman. I don't think
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: it registered when we were dating. Well you didn't want
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: it to, remember, because you said you kept it all
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: together while we're dating until you got the ring.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: See so now should I discuss this or let it ride?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Now you have to discuss it and stop.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: Look, don't be so brutal because you did the job
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: you wanted to do. You put your representative out there
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: and held up until you got a ring. Now the
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: report exentative didn't tell the entire story, so now you
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: want to tell the story to the man. So now
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: you got to be courteous to the man at the
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: same time too. See, you didn't show him the real
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: black woman, as you say. But all this stuff you
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: talking about happens to all women. So don't don't don't
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: dump this as a negative on black women, because it's not.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: It's women. All women do this.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: All women wear foundation, All women got some skin problems.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: Sometimes all people do. All women wear foundation, most people do,
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: So this ain't don't don't don't dump this on black women.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Now this your ass. You just happen to be. Ain't
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: nobody else on the show picking our hair? They think?

- 1:07:37Speaker 1: you know that.
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: That probably my last game January second, last one part
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, man.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Or the next time you see me in a championship,
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: it'll be for cheese champage.
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: That's the game, from contact to no context.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: You got skill, Steve, look at Steve chef mate or
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: crown man oh Man.
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: Man also in news man the Coats, Man is what
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: a difference the day makes?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: Did you know that the Coats owner Jim Orsay said
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: that Johnathan Taylor is irrelevant?
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: Uh he if he's out the league, he wouldn't even matter.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: The running back who said that he had back pain,
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: that they said they had back paint, but he didn't,
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: and he said, hey, well he's irrelevant as a running back.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: We can find another one. And it wouldn't matter if
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: he was in the league or not.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: Yeah, he just dogging it, man.
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: And so he's the best player on your team though,
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: I mean, he's the best player on the team. And
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: guess what, the running the backup, Zach Moss broke his
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: arm the other day.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: So now what if you don't matter now?
- 1:08:54Speaker 10: You need him now, but you still say he irrelevant
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: doubt you know, man.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: They talked to him like their property instead of I mean,
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: you know, and for a gud to be an owner
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: and to speak like that about a player, I mean,
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: just think about it. That's assine right there, and so
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: you know, but it'll work out for this brother. But
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: this brother right here, he got to stop all that
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: firing back and just let it go and let him
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: be the butthole that he is and just going and
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: play your game, because everybody in league know who this
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: boy is.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Okay, would you stop and not?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Would you? Would you let it go on about to
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: ask him? Certainly? Would you? Well, well, I've.
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: Let a lot of stuff go that people say about me,
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: to tell you the truth, But it better not be
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: who run I have. It better not be nobody out
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: there that run freemantle down there, family, ready, I can
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: tell you what will lim Let me let you go
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: find out who we have.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Really it's coming up.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: At the top of the hour. There's video proof that
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Cardi B.
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: Asked her audience members to throw water on her during
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: a recent performance in Vegas. What we'll come back find
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: out what that's all about. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: hard morning show. You know what, at this point, we
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: really need to wait a few days before we even
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: comment on some of the stuff we see in social media.
- 1:10:32Speaker 8: We all got upset at the concert gore that threw
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: water on Cardi B. Right, remember that we talked about it.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: Video is surface now on TMZ and the video shows
- 1:10:42Speaker 8: Carti on stage asking the crowd to throw water on
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: her because it's so hot in Vegas. Her DJ follows
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: up with asking the fans to dark Dallas Carti B
- 1:10:53Speaker 8: with water, saying wet her up, wet her up. Several
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: people in the audience closest to the stage can be
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: seen in the video throwing water at Cardi as she
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: moved her hair to the side so.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: It wouldn't get wet.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: Cardi even bends over with her behind facing the crowd,
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: asking the fans to throw.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: Water at her.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Wop.
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: So we're not sure why Cardi B reacted the way
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: she did when she threw her mic. A one particular
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: fan that did throw water on her.
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: The lady that Cardi B hit with the mic has
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: allegedly pressed charges against Cardi B.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, this is crazy. Right here, I can understand
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: it though you asked for it as water. Now you
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: don't want what did you say?
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: What you think?
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: Well?
- 1:11:35Speaker 10: See you way on the right now when you came
- 1:11:38Speaker 10: over here, I on to the left.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I had my water. I had to throw it. I
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: was just waiting. You just didn't come over here yet.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: Yeah, so, Julie, you'd worked your way over here. Now
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: I got a cup full. I've been waiting. I stopped
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: sipping on it, So wake me up.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Okay soon? Did she get over this way? Close? So little?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Two more steps and right here?
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Damn?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Yeah, willis lost stick picked up?
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Because she threw the microphone?
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: I think.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you hear a concert go in the head with
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: with the mic.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: After asking her to throw water on you?
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: Well, and see all these people throwing stuff at the performance.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: I hate that.
- 1:12:29Speaker 11: I hate that party. And I said that that this
- 1:12:31Speaker 11: girl if she threw this water, and she was wrong
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: for doing that. And then here you are soliciting for it, man,
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: and with her dj NT as well.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Wet her up, wet her up?
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: Come on now, Yeah, it's the lyrical for music today.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: So I don't you know, it's just you know, I'm
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: gonna know this. This summer, me and my kids was
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: talking about music, and it's just the lyrical content that
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: I'm just so unimpressed by. I wouldn't mind listening to
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: some of this stuff if y'all was talking about something.
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: But I'm such a lyrical guy.
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: Hey, man, when I hear a song that's nice, the
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: reason I think is a song because I'm listening to
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: the words.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: First.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: You know, the groove could be good, but that the
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: words got to match the music. That's when ty REEG
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: came out with Shane that song right there.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: Nowadays, man, they don't take enough time with the lyrics
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: of a song. They just write mess.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: They got R and B songs with N word in it,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: R and B songs with the B word in it. Yeah,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you know, it ain't just hip.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: Hop explicit lyrics too.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I'm talking about explicit white man. So I'm sitting people, Okay, Wow,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you don't.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: Want to hear the song called step?
- 1:13:59Speaker 7: What?
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: Don't want to hear that?
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: No?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: And it's just you can't get it out of your
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: head once you hear it. It's just you don't want that.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: That's one of many, honey.
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm got to.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: Tell you something about and you know what, I just
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: the argument that I have is it's not that I'm old,
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: it's just that, well, I am old, But I came
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: up in a generation where we cared about the song,
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: and y'all stopped caring about the words. Now everybody can
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: become a rapper just because you can talk fast, or
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: you could talk with a certain cadence. But ain't nobody
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: taking no time to write, no songs, No man, y'all
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: just matching up words that rhyme.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: You like it fast? Now? I guess what, Ryan, we
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: fast And let's.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Say that class.
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:17:21Speaker 5: go make a banana pudding, it has got to be bluebell.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: Oh, yes, yes, yes, yeah, all right.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Nothing, no the game woul y'all know.
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: Would you rather be locked out of the house or
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: would you rather run out of gas on the highway?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Locked out? The locked out the house? Yeah? And lock
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: me out all night. Yeah, you can go somewhere else,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: lock me up.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: Would you say, lock me out the house or run
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: out of gas on the highway. Hell, I'm gonna do
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: what I'm gonna do on this highway.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: You gotta do a better stay do better? Ye, I'm
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: getting in the house all right.
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: Would you rather lie to your pastor? Would you rather
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: use profanity around your pastor?
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: You've done both?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: What what did you say? I gotta lie to him?
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: That cost at him? Let off with mine? We both almost.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: You rather lie to your pastor? Junior?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I'm profanity around my past I see my grandmother do it?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: So that gives you the green light?
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: So if she didn't respect him? Okay, yeah, come.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Yes I do.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: I do, And they had lies.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I have to lie? Why? No way you list you
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: want to do that? But what do is we having
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: a truthful conversation?
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: You up?
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: What did you talking?
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: Dog?
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: We ain't Catholic? What did you do about?
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: What?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Confessions? Confess? Sitting in no box with you?
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: Dog?
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: You already know I'm not doing that? Dog? What what
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: box do he sit in? Well? I'm sitting in here
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: talking to him.
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: All right, would you rather kiss a stranger's barefoot a
- 1:19:37Speaker 8: stranger's barefoot, or would you rather kiss your ex on
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: the lips?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: God?
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: Going, you're just mouth sanitized, So you're going with the stranger,
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: with the stranger take that foot? But can I if
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: I could just see the stranger?
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: Days round, I'm what you rather.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Thanks, guys.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: We'll be back.
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: With our last break of the day at forty nine
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: minutes after the hour end up. We'll have some closing
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: remarks from the one and only Steve.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: Harvey right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Here we are, guys, our.
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: Last break of the day on this Wednesday hump Day.
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: It's been a good day, Thank you.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Lord, the second day of our guest.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Hey, yeah, I want to Christmas tomorrow.
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: I want to talk to y'all about my closing remarks
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: today because it's something I think that everybody deals with.
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: I I know this is touching a lot of people
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: because of social media, because of the world we live
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: in today. We live in a fallen world. This country,
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: America is in the worst condition that's ever been in
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: simply because of a statement that was made some years
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: ago to make America great again.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Well, what it did was it actually opened up the valves.
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: And everything for people who want things to go back
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: to the way they were, and it gave them a
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: license to more openly and freely say it because they
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: had chosen a leader that said it for him and
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: he thought that they represented him most eloquently in the
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: best way. So militia groups came out, The Proud Boys
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: came out, the skinheads came out, the boys went to
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: khaki pants with the torches in Virginia came out. They
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: all came out. They came out to climb the wall
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: on January sixth. They showed up everything they had on
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: Viking horns and deer skins and bad spraying wrapped in flags,
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: and they got guns and they went to Black Lives
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: Matter rallies with AK forty six and they mama drove
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: him to him.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: And he gets out and he shoots people.
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: All of this became because they thought it was open
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: season to make America great again. Really, well, now it's
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: been going on the whole time. I want you to
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: know that it's just they took the mask off of it.
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: It's the same thing that's been going on. It's not
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: a rise in police brutality towards black It's just that
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: the iPhone cameras took the mask off.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: It's been going on just like this. It's not a rise,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: it's just now you're seeing it.
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: George Floyd wasn't the first person that's been choked out
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: by the police.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: It was just the first person y'all saw. That's all.
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: So we live in a falling world, man, And in
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: this falling world, I have a suggestion for you. I
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: would think, if I were you, you don't have to
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: do this, but I would form as close a relationship
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: to God as I possibly could.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: And listen to me.
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: Y'all, I'm not telling you what church to go to,
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: what faith to belong to. I'm talking about you having
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: a personal relationship with God. You having talks with Him
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: that show gratitude and ask for direction. Those are the
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: two things you want from God. You want to show
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: gratitude and you want direction. You need help and healing
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: because in this world we live in, man, it's so
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: fieled with haters, and I think we all have experienced that.
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: Social media at your job, it's just haters. Now, hater
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: us have a platform. Haters have a voice. It's called
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: social media. And man, they get on there about you.
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: And the only reason they're on there about you. I
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: want to tell you something about you now. The only
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: reason they on there about you is because you're doing something,
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: you got something they want, or you've become something.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: That they ain't. You have a hater because you got
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: something they want, or you are something.
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: That they ain't and they can't stand it. So now
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: they out here doing the devil's bidding. And the thing
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: about the devil is he got a lot of people
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: work for him. Them, imps is available. They're out here
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: twenty four to seven. They don't even sleep. The devil
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: got empts. You don't even know that he throw your way.
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: So when y'all get this hate, this unmerited hate, y'all
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: ain't got to dress all that. Just going about your business.
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: I used to say all the time on the radio show.
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: Stay on the wall, Stay up on the wall. Don't
- 1:24:42Speaker 5: come down off the wall when they throwing rocks at you.
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: Rocks don't hurt when they get thrown up. They do
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: hurt if you come back down and you let them
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: line it up eyeball to eyeball. So just stay up
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: on the wall. You ain't got to come down to
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: talk to these people.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Who are they? They irrelevant?
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: And I have an another suggestion too, to all y'all
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: people out there who are in the hate business. I
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: probably shouldn't say this, but Helen, what else is the
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: Steve Harvey Morning Show? If I don't say what I
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: want to say, Well, you just calling somebody else's show,
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: then one it ain't they show us my show. To
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: all y'all haters out there that's in the business of hate,
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: let me fallwell on you or something. Hate is like
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: a cancer, man, you're gonna wind up eating yourself up.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: All y'all. Wendy Williams wanna bees.
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: Out there, all y'all that's out there that is trying
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: to replace the Queen of gossip. Well, is that really
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: what you want to do? You ain't been paying attention. See,
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: All you got to do is stay on the wall
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: and keep living your life. Hate is like a sickness, man,
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: It eats away at you. It ain't no good. So
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: if that's how you want to make a living by
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: bringing down others and talking about others, go.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Ahead, But it usually don't work out for you. That's
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: just a suggestion.
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: But for everybody out there that's experiencing hate, you're experiencing
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: hate because you're bout something. The devil don't come for
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: people that he got already. The devil come for people
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: when he see what God fit to do for you.
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: The devil come for people who people who are on
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: the move, who got their eye on the prize, who pray,
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: who meditate, who look up, who trust God.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: That's who the devil want. He got the rest of them.
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: Go on bout your business with your bad self, keep
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: your head up, don't worry about them haters, and always
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: remember this about a hater. You'll never have a hater
