- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will A good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio the show today. I want
- 2:14Speaker 1: to just share something with you along your way to
- 2:23Speaker 1: wherever it is you're trying to get to. You know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: everybody has a different definition for success, and I'm not.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm not here to tell you what joy should be.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean, please pursue whatever you think success he is
- 2:36Speaker 1: aim as high as you can though, that's for sure.
- 2:41Speaker 1: My father used to say all the time. I'm sure
- 2:43Speaker 1: you all have heard it in different variations, but he
- 2:46Speaker 1: used to always say, aim for the moon. Just in
- 2:49Speaker 1: case you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. Just
- 2:52Speaker 1: say that to me all the time. So that always
- 2:55Speaker 1: was in me to aim high. Now he was and
- 3:00Speaker 1: saying aim with the intent to miss. He was just
- 3:03Speaker 1: saying aim. In case you miss, you're still amongst the starts.
- 3:09Speaker 1: If you aim for the moon. But if you just
- 3:12Speaker 1: aim for that first flow wind and you miss it,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you know, usually run into some type of wall and
- 3:19Speaker 1: nothing happens. You slither down. You know. In my book,
- 3:23Speaker 1: act like a lady, think like a man. I told
- 3:25Speaker 1: her people that men love three ways. They profess, they provide,
- 3:28Speaker 1: they protect, and that's the core essence of a man's love. Well,
- 3:34Speaker 1: there's some other peas in life too. The number one
- 3:38Speaker 1: thing you have to understand about trying to be successful,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and I guess I call this the four peas. I
- 3:46Speaker 1: may come up with five along the way. I don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm just talking as is given to me. So I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: gonna summer start by saying, as these are the four
- 3:55Speaker 1: peas of success that you have to get ready for.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Number one one, it's pressure. A lot of it is
- 4:03Speaker 1: applied by the circumstance of what you're trying to go
- 4:07Speaker 1: for and what you're trying to do, but a lot
- 4:12Speaker 1: of it also is self imposed pressure. It's what you
- 4:16Speaker 1: put on yourself to make it. It's a sense of urgency.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It's a sense of necessity. But pressure is the first
- 4:28Speaker 1: thing I want you to be ready for. And pressure
- 4:31Speaker 1: comes in a lot of different forms, but it's going
- 4:33Speaker 1: to be pressured. As an old saying that pressure buster pipe. See,
- 4:36Speaker 1: that's why most people turn around because of the pressure
- 4:40Speaker 1: of trying to be successful. I want you to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it in your mind that it is going to be
- 4:46Speaker 1: a pressure rized situation on your rise to the top. Pressure,
- 4:52Speaker 1: but understand that that it is what it is, is
- 4:54Speaker 1: not going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself, get ready
- 5:00Speaker 1: for there to be pressure. The second thing I want
- 5:05Speaker 1: you to understand is when you receive this pressure, you
- 5:08Speaker 1: have to persist. You got to stay at it. You
- 5:13Speaker 1: got to develop a dog getness has a There's a
- 5:20Speaker 1: song who says, why must I feel like that? Why
- 5:26Speaker 1: must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog in me?
- 5:32Speaker 1: That's a funny line in that song, because really I
- 5:36Speaker 1: was thinking about it one day. I was humming it
- 5:39Speaker 1: and and it, and it occurred to me, said, why
- 5:42Speaker 1: must I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Nothing but the dog getting me? And you know, now
- 5:51Speaker 1: you could take it in the literal says that the
- 5:53Speaker 1: cat chases the dog because it's innately is in his spirit.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That cats and dogs are a lot of times enemies.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Now people have pets in him, proving that if you
- 6:03Speaker 1: show love on both sides, they can exist. And that
- 6:06Speaker 1: happens too, but naturally innately, when your cat goes by
- 6:11Speaker 1: a dog, your dog don't recognize him. That's some barking
- 6:13Speaker 1: going on. I'm talking I just walking through the neighborhood
- 6:16Speaker 1: or something. So, but the reason that this dog is
- 6:22Speaker 1: so persistent towards this cat is just cause it's in him.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's innately in him. And what I'm saying to you,
- 6:33Speaker 1: just using that as an analogy, is that you got
- 6:36Speaker 1: to be you got to be persistent in that. You
- 6:42Speaker 1: got to develop some dog in you now because pressure
- 6:46Speaker 1: takes some fighting back. See if you don't fight back
- 6:50Speaker 1: against pressure, pressure buster pipes, So what you think it
- 6:52Speaker 1: will do to you? Pressure, crack walls, pressure calls, explosions.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So if you don't fight back to hold it in,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you understand pressure does most people in the simple thing
- 7:06Speaker 1: called pressure, the weight of what it feels like to
- 7:10Speaker 1: want to be successful every single day, over and over
- 7:14Speaker 1: and over and over and over. It's just too much pressure.
- 7:17Speaker 1: People crack. You got to persist. You have to persist.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You can the thought of giving up can come, but
- 7:26Speaker 1: you got to get it out. You got to persist.
- 7:30Speaker 1: The next thing I want you to think about is
- 7:34Speaker 1: another something that I've been thinking about for years and
- 7:37Speaker 1: learn for years. It's called perseverance. To persist means to insist.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Its keyword in insist and persistence insists you must. You
- 7:50Speaker 1: must insist that this is going to happen. Now, the
- 7:54Speaker 1: persist I'm assuming means it's a proaction. It's some type
- 7:58Speaker 1: of proaction that you go towards it to make it.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You know, persist, you gotta be persisted. You gotta be
- 8:05Speaker 1: constantly at insisting that it happens. You gotta be constantly
- 8:08Speaker 1: at it. But the next thing I want you to
- 8:11Speaker 1: remember is perseverance. Perseverance is important. Perseverance means that when
- 8:17Speaker 1: you've done your best, when you've persisted, when you're fighting
- 8:22Speaker 1: back against the pressure. Perseverance simply means I'm going to
- 8:28Speaker 1: hang in here when if a crack come into pipe,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna hang in there. If the pipe bust, I'm
- 8:36Speaker 1: gonna keep going. If I gotta put duct, take mud, whatever,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I got to put on this thing. Man, I'm gonna
- 8:44Speaker 1: use perseverance. I'm going to stay with it no matter what.
- 8:50Speaker 1: So we're looking at the three things again. You got
- 8:52Speaker 1: to understand that it's gonna be pressure that you're gonna
- 8:56Speaker 1: have to persist keyword and persistence insist. You have to
- 9:01Speaker 1: insist that no matter what the pressure is, I'm gonna
- 9:03Speaker 1: stay with it. But then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you got to get in there and keep fighting. But
- 9:12Speaker 1: then Lord Him Mercy. Nothing helps you handle the three
- 9:16Speaker 1: peas better than the fourth pea. You got to pray.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You got to use prayer. You gotta talk to God.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You gotta use faith. You gotta have some conferences with
- 9:27Speaker 1: him late at night, early in the morning, in the
- 9:30Speaker 1: middle of the afternoon, when you own the train, when
- 9:33Speaker 1: you're driving. You got to talk to God. Man, you
- 9:36Speaker 1: gotta get yourself some help along the way. Nothing is
- 9:39Speaker 1: bigger than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer
- 9:43Speaker 1: will help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you
- 9:46Speaker 1: stay persistent, and Lord Him Mercy, prayer will help you
- 9:49Speaker 1: persevere them is the faux peas. God gave that to me.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm passing it onw ladies and gentlemen, it is here.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The time has arrived, the blessing has been delivered. We
- 10:10Speaker 1: have all awakened. To those of you like me who
- 10:14Speaker 1: have awoken, and for those of you like Tommy is
- 10:19Speaker 1: wise awake. And if you like Shirley, we don't even
- 10:23Speaker 1: know what the correct pronunciation is. So just to the
- 10:27Speaker 1: budgie and elite, welcome to the show. I dast say,
- 10:32Speaker 1: and let's just get it on. Now here's the deal.
- 10:35Speaker 1: We'd like to welcome everybody to the show. Those of

- 12:51Speaker 1: that was so appalling to me and so non honoring
- 12:55Speaker 1: of our ancestors. He said, y'all might not want to
- 12:57Speaker 1: hear this, but white's slave owners should be entitled to
- 13:02Speaker 1: reparations too, because, for those of you that don't know this,
- 13:06Speaker 1: slavery was legal at the time and not just what
- 13:14Speaker 1: do you want us to get them back? What we
- 13:16Speaker 1: want to get reparations? Yeah? What what do you need back?
- 13:20Speaker 1: You had free labor. You built this country off of
- 13:25Speaker 1: free labor. Ladies and gentlemen. Open up a company and

- 13:55Speaker 1: Medina in Syracuse. Medina writes, my boyfriend is a my baby.
- 14:01Speaker 1: We've been in a few situations that have made me
- 14:03Speaker 1: wonder if he would be a great husband and dad
- 14:06Speaker 1: if we got married. He cries, watching chick flicks. He
- 14:09Speaker 1: cries uncontrollably at church, and he gets sad when we
- 14:13Speaker 1: passed by homeless people. His mom says, he has a big,
- 14:16Speaker 1: kind heart, and uh, but he's not ashamed to express
- 14:20Speaker 1: his feelings. But I'm worried about it, especially because he
- 14:23Speaker 1: cries every time we have sex. We've been dating for
- 14:27Speaker 1: almost a year. Should I be concerned about this? Deeply? Wow,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I've never cried doing six at all. I've wonder chearful.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I've had some stand on the mountaintop shouted go tell
- 15:02Speaker 1: it on the mountaintop moments. Never once have I cried.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I have a serious, deep spot in my heart for
- 15:10Speaker 1: homeless people. But if action is required for homeless people,
- 15:15Speaker 1: not crying, give them, give them a few dollars, man,
- 15:20Speaker 1: buy them something to eat. Start you a program, go
- 15:23Speaker 1: down there and feed the homeless. You know, don't don't cry.
- 15:27Speaker 1: See that's what I don't like, crying without any action.
- 15:32Speaker 1: You know, you're crying at all the chick flicks, you
- 15:36Speaker 1: cry when you go to church. Okay, I got that
- 15:42Speaker 1: crying at the movie down all of them. The notebook.
- 15:46Speaker 1: You saw a white chick, he was just crying. Coming
- 15:51Speaker 1: to America, you got crying blind fo. Yeah, you have
- 15:57Speaker 1: a problem and you should be concerned. Okay, And here's
- 16:00Speaker 1: a mother till my he got a big heart. That's
- 16:03Speaker 1: that's look. I'm a sensitive guy. Yeah, not that okay, Yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and you know what they're doing. We're moving on. Uh,
- 16:24Speaker 1: Miss Diana and New Mexico says, I'm in my mid
- 16:28Speaker 1: sixties and I am married for the third time to
- 16:30Speaker 1: a great man, and he loves me unconditionally, but not
- 16:36Speaker 1: enough to let me get a tattoo sleep on my
- 16:40Speaker 1: left arm. My oldest daughter held had her arm done recently,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and I think it's beautiful. But my husband says I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: too old to do it. I think he's out of
- 16:48Speaker 1: touch with what's going on in the world. What do
- 16:50Speaker 1: you think Should I honor his wishes and not do it,
- 16:53Speaker 1: or get it done and explain it afterwards. I think
- 16:56Speaker 1: you out of touch with what's going What that tattoo
- 16:58Speaker 1: gonna look like in Tenue, That's what I think you
- 17:01Speaker 1: out of touch with. You can't get no sleeve on
- 17:04Speaker 1: your arm, and you sixty, you know what you feel
- 17:06Speaker 1: to look like when you seventy? You know that little
- 17:08Speaker 1: butterfly you feel to get on your arm? You know
- 17:10Speaker 1: what it's gonna look like when you seventy mouth a
- 17:12Speaker 1: mom's gonna look like a moth. You know, you know
- 17:17Speaker 1: what that heart gonna look like when you seventy, gonna
- 17:20Speaker 1: look like teardrop. It's gonna turn upside down. Gravity is
- 17:25Speaker 1: not your friend right now. You gotta marrmaid tattooed on
- 17:31Speaker 1: your arm. In ten years, it's gonna look like a
- 17:34Speaker 1: dead figh gonna be good. No, lady, I think you
- 17:39Speaker 1: out of touch. Your daughter did that. You said your
- 17:41Speaker 1: daughter did it, and it's beautiful on your daughter. But
- 17:46Speaker 1: you're sixty. This man married you because he loved you.
- 17:49Speaker 1: He didn't marry you because you want He had a sleeve.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Why would you ink up your body like that? Now,
- 17:54Speaker 1: if you want to get a tattoo, I ain't not
- 17:55Speaker 1: a tattoo. Do your thing. But I'm just telling you
- 17:57Speaker 1: the problem you got right now is you sixty. He
- 18:00Speaker 1: out of touch. He ain't out of touch. He was
- 18:02Speaker 1: in touch with you. He don't want you with the
- 18:04Speaker 1: sleeve on. And what you're gonna put on yet, sixty?
- 18:09Speaker 1: What's what's in there? Yeah, let's talk about that. What
- 18:11Speaker 1: goes on a sixty year old slea prune, not a butterfly.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I know what she's gonna steal here, her medication schedule,
- 18:24Speaker 1: her medication. Yeah's that's funny, Steve, that's funny. Here say
- 18:33Speaker 1: what I said. Tattoos are a form of self expression,
- 18:39Speaker 1: old expression. What's she gonna put on? That? Guan? Now,
- 18:46Speaker 1: all these old ass expressions? Look at him? I fit
- 18:51Speaker 1: to be seventy? Okay, what's it gonna be, Paul? What
- 18:59Speaker 1: what's she gonna put on? All right? Okay, ain't no
- 19:01Speaker 1: saying let's put a picture on that? Who she's gonna
- 19:03Speaker 1: put her hair? Tell me who's gonna put on? Who
- 19:06Speaker 1: she gonna put on? Now? Who she gonna put on? Now?
- 19:11Speaker 1: You were to get the tattoo. The only thing I
- 19:14Speaker 1: would tattooed on my body at this age Madrede's name.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But you know, I you know, if I had to
- 19:21Speaker 1: get a tattooed, I probably get a tattoo on my
- 19:23Speaker 1: shield or something. That's saying they did the mint something
- 19:28Speaker 1: to me. I put my tattooed my shield. But no
- 19:30Speaker 1: nonsense on you yo, No, that ain't no nonsense. Don't
- 19:33Speaker 1: no no, no said, you can't get nothing else? Something
- 19:36Speaker 1: means all right, we're moving on birthday. You can't put
- 19:40Speaker 1: that on yourself. Felippe and sound Florida Cook, Cook Sound.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't think tattoos. My wife and I have been
- 19:56Speaker 1: married twenty eight years and we have a twenty six
- 19:59Speaker 1: year old son that with us. He's dating one of
- 20:01Speaker 1: my wife's friends, and my wife has no idea. My
- 20:05Speaker 1: son came clean about it after I saw the woman
- 20:07Speaker 1: drop him off one night. I've told the woman that
- 20:09Speaker 1: my wife will hurt her if she finds out, but
- 20:12Speaker 1: she doesn't seem to care. My son wants to move on,
- 20:15Speaker 1: and he wants to move in with this woman, and
- 20:17Speaker 1: he doesn't want me to tell his mother. Who should
- 20:20Speaker 1: I be loyal to him or my wife? Or should
- 20:21Speaker 1: I stay out of it and let him learn a lesson? Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 1: you got to be loyal to your son. You gotta
- 20:28Speaker 1: be loyd to your son. Where are you staying there?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Twenty six? That's a couple of problems to you. You
- 20:34Speaker 1: got a woman dropping you off. You said your mom was, well, see,
- 20:41Speaker 1: let me tell you something. He's not being disloyal to
- 20:44Speaker 1: his wife in any way because this ain't nothing to
- 20:47Speaker 1: do with his wife. This is his wife's friend. So
- 20:50Speaker 1: I would stay Loyd to the let him move on
- 20:52Speaker 1: in there and get worms. All right, all right, we're
- 21:00Speaker 1: moving on. We're done with this. Coming up next the
- 21:02Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back. Right after this. You're
- 21:06Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the
- 21:10Speaker 1: hour and trending headlines and entertainment news, a lawsuit for
- 21:14Speaker 1: the dog whisperers, Caesar Milan's dog attacked, Queen Latifa's dog,
- 21:19Speaker 1: plus guerrillas at the Atlanta Zoo test positive for COVID
- 21:23Speaker 1: nineteen plus I'll ask today. Yeah, plus Carla has today's
- 21:27Speaker 1: music news. Another versus battle is going on to night.
- 21:31Speaker 1: We'll talk about these stories at the top of the hour.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Right now, the nephew is here with run that frank back.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Gorillas say anything shar like Caesar, was it any? Yeah? Here,
- 21:50Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe we'll see once we get to
- 21:59Speaker 1: that story. Give me a shot on maternal till Monday.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, all right, let's go do this right.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Here is catering mistake. Catering mistake. Let's run with it. Hello, Hello,

- 22:48Speaker 1: out for you guys? Yeah, we had a good old time.
- 22:53Speaker 1: My auntie Bridget she was so happy. There was no
- 22:57Speaker 1: better way to bring in her sixtieth birthday party. We
- 22:59Speaker 1: had a great time. The food was delicious. We are
- 23:02Speaker 1: so grateful. So thank you so much. You and your
- 23:04Speaker 1: team did the bomb job. Okay, good deal, good deal.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I was here when they loaded up the van and everything,
- 23:10Speaker 1: and I wanted to make sure. I wanted to follow
- 23:12Speaker 1: back up. But listen, I'm looking at the paperwork and
- 23:14Speaker 1: I and we had a little mishap, and I wanted
- 23:18Speaker 1: to let you know that we're not going to um,
- 23:20Speaker 1: we're not gonna charge you guys for the chicken because
- 23:27Speaker 1: they made a mistake and they put the wrong pan
- 23:30Speaker 1: on the van and they I noticed that the chicken
- 23:34Speaker 1: was actually still here. So we want to take off
- 23:37Speaker 1: take that off, and I won't that won't be on
- 23:39Speaker 1: the on the envoys, So I'm taking all the entire
- 23:42Speaker 1: cross the chicken will be completely taken out. Okay, real quick,
- 23:45Speaker 1: let's back up a bit, because we had a lot
- 23:48Speaker 1: of people at the party, we definitely had chicken. Yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I know you had you order some other chicken. But
- 23:56Speaker 1: like I said, the guy put the wrong pan on
- 23:58Speaker 1: the on the van and then actually this mother chicken
- 24:01Speaker 1: was actually still here, uh you know, here here at
- 24:05Speaker 1: the at the shop. So you know, like I said,
- 24:07Speaker 1: we made a mistake. I'm gonna take it off and
- 24:09Speaker 1: that'll probably not your even like a couple of hundred
- 24:12Speaker 1: dollars off off of you as price third. So so
- 24:15Speaker 1: what are you saying? So what were we eating if
- 24:17Speaker 1: it wasn't this mother chicken? What was it? Uh? Well,
- 24:22Speaker 1: Miss Tammy, Like I said, you know, I got on
- 24:25Speaker 1: this kid for making this mistake. You know, I got
- 24:28Speaker 1: on the real bad about it from you know, putting
- 24:30Speaker 1: the wrong pan on there. But like I said, this
- 24:33Speaker 1: what you guys had was it? That was a chicken?
- 24:36Speaker 1: What was it though? That's what I'm asking you what
- 24:38Speaker 1: was it? That was actually what he put on there
- 24:41Speaker 1: by mistake? Miss Tammy? That was that was rabbit? What?
- 24:47Speaker 1: You can't be serious right now? Are you out of
- 24:50Speaker 1: your rabbit mine? Are you serious? You tell me that
- 24:55Speaker 1: your team put the wrong trade on the trucks and
- 24:58Speaker 1: then served it to Mike family and you're trying to
- 25:01Speaker 1: call me about two hundred dollars? Are you serious? Who
- 25:05Speaker 1: more than that? You owe me more than that? You
- 25:08Speaker 1: don't know who the because allergic to that? And you're
- 25:11Speaker 1: calling me about two hundred dollars? Are you out of
- 25:14Speaker 1: your mind? Well? I wanted to credit you all that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. No, and then there's gonna
- 25:19Speaker 1: be no credit. There ain't gonna be no credit. It
- 25:21Speaker 1: ain't no credit. Do you mean credit where you could
- 25:25Speaker 1: have died? Monty could have died, Lucia. Uh, we got
- 25:28Speaker 1: kids in there and you don't know our dietary needs?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Are you crazy? I mean, would you say you liked it? Though?
- 25:34Speaker 1: It don't matter if I liked it, I can fall
- 25:37Speaker 1: out to night. Stupid. Oh, I'm getting an attorney. I'm

- 29:23Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. A lawsuit filed against Caesar
- 29:28Speaker 1: Milan over his pit bull named Junior, severely biting a
- 29:33Speaker 1: promising young gymnast has seen Queen Latifa's name brought up
- 29:36Speaker 1: in the filing. Attorneys for Lydia Matisse says she went
- 29:40Speaker 1: to her mom's office building, where her mom worked for
- 29:43Speaker 1: Caesar Milan. In the filing, Lydia says Caesar pitt Bull
- 29:48Speaker 1: was roaming the halls unsupervised. The dog allegedly attacked her,
- 29:52Speaker 1: repeatedly biting her on the legs, resulting in severe injuries.
- 29:56Speaker 1: How does Queen Latifa come into this, you ask? Well?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Lati Tia had taken two of her dogs to Caesar's
- 30:03Speaker 1: Dog Psychology Center for training. The lawsuit says Junior mauled
- 30:07Speaker 1: one of her dogs to death, and Caesar had his
- 30:10Speaker 1: staff covered up by telling Latifa the dog had been
- 30:14Speaker 1: hit and killed by a car. Lydia's attorneys say it's
- 30:17Speaker 1: one of several pieces of evidence that Junior has a
- 30:21Speaker 1: history of violence. Wow, well you know that if Junior
- 30:26Speaker 1: killing another dog and Junior biden people, Junior got to
- 30:30Speaker 1: go yes, yeah, yeah, see now all you patler, we
- 30:35Speaker 1: got the death penalty for people. Y'all still got that. Now,

- 31:35Speaker 1: of the apes were showing signs of coughing, just mild coughing,
- 31:39Speaker 1: running noses, and a small loss of appetite. Who sees
- 31:45Speaker 1: a guy covid? Yeah, he really needed He let me
- 31:52Speaker 1: get hold of that vaccine and he probably caught it
- 31:58Speaker 1: from the handler. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The zoo Zoo Atlanta's
- 32:04Speaker 1: animal handlers collected fecal samples and nasal and oral swabs
- 32:08Speaker 1: from the gorillas and sent the samples to a diagnostic
- 32:10Speaker 1: lab at the University of Georgia, which returned presumptive positive
- 32:15Speaker 1: results of COVID nine. How do you test a gorilla?

- 32:58Speaker 1: he got something for your heads. Joe elbow snapped right.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Apparently one of the animal care staffers was asymptomatic and
- 33:10Speaker 1: still coming to work. That's how they caught it, they said,
- 33:13Speaker 1: And thirteen gorillas got They got thirteen gorillas at one zuite.
- 33:16Speaker 1: That's a lot. Once the zude, once the gorillas recovered,
- 33:21Speaker 1: they will be vaccinated. Even the gorillas are getting back
- 33:24Speaker 1: to the vaccinated. It's a no brainer. Yeah, yeah, wow,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I think I marge and going on find me another zoo.
- 33:37Speaker 1: If I was them, I would I get on the

- 34:02Speaker 1: we get a vaccine. And we want mask. Banana said,
- 34:11Speaker 1: we ain't coming out that openness. Damn Gate wanted well,
- 34:24Speaker 1: um wow, switching gears. Finally in Trending Entertainment News, Carla,
- 34:30Speaker 1: what you got over the another versus battle going on tonight?
- 34:33Speaker 1: Humh Another versus battle tonight in New York Madison Square

- 34:45Speaker 1: trash talking, going back and forth. But Fat Joe says
- 34:49Speaker 1: that you know everybody knows Ja got the hits. You
- 34:52Speaker 1: know Ja Rule early two thousand, it's all about jar
- 34:55Speaker 1: Rule on the radio, so you know he has the hits.

- 35:14Speaker 1: I sure hope fifty doesn't show up. Sure hope that
- 35:17Speaker 1: does not happen. So we'll be watching the versus battle tonight. Also,
- 35:20Speaker 1: we gotta give a shout out Rick Ross and Steve
- 35:23Speaker 1: your boy Ricky Rose, he finally finally got his driver's

- 35:39Speaker 1: passed the driver's tests and he got this drash's license.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Has he been driving well? He said, his mom told
- 35:51Speaker 1: him to stop joy riding, so oh, there, there you go.
- 35:55Speaker 1: He said. It took him took him about an hour
- 35:57Speaker 1: to take the driver's test. He didn't get all the
- 35:59Speaker 1: answers to correct. All right, Carla, thank you. Coming up
- 36:04Speaker 1: in twenty minutes more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 36:07Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening too, all right, So we
- 36:12Speaker 1: might not feel any Chris cool weather yet because we're
- 36:15Speaker 1: still you know, still in summer. But fall is just
- 36:18Speaker 1: a few weeks away, and it's the ideal time to
- 36:21Speaker 1: prioritize habits that can keep you healthy and full of
- 36:24Speaker 1: energy before um, you know, before I get to those
- 36:27Speaker 1: healthy tips. Quick question for Steve. Now, Steve, are you
- 36:31Speaker 1: focused on your on your health? Steve and the guys
- 36:34Speaker 1: focus Okay, really, yeah, all right, elevated it this week.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I've even elevated Okay, all right, Well, here's some tips
- 36:42Speaker 1: to help you stay healthy for the fall season. And
- 36:45Speaker 1: you may have some tips of your own, Steve. As
- 36:48Speaker 1: we head into the cold and flu season, load up
- 36:50Speaker 1: on foods that can boost your immune system, including foods
- 36:53Speaker 1: rich in vitamin C and vitamin D. Do you have
- 36:57Speaker 1: any tips, Steve, Yeah, you have got to stop being
- 37:02Speaker 1: an alcoholic. Must you are alcoholic. You got to check
- 37:12Speaker 1: yourself in. In other words, stop going down to that
- 37:15Speaker 1: colder stove. It's a must. You are alcoholic. You got
- 37:20Speaker 1: to stop that right now. That's my number one, Timber.
- 37:26Speaker 1: All alcoholics must stop being an alcoholic immediately. Go ahead
- 37:29Speaker 1: of you. All right, here's another one. Make sleep a priority.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Being well rested is crucial to staying healthy. Sleep is
- 37:37Speaker 1: important to your health. Too much sleep is critical to
- 37:41Speaker 1: your wealth. How must sleep are you supposed to get
- 37:45Speaker 1: per night? I don't believe legit. I ain't never slept.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I slept eight thousand years because I don't. I don't
- 37:54Speaker 1: see how you need once you're not a child anymore.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I don't see why you need eight hours. I don't
- 37:59Speaker 1: know why to child, but I'm glad they sleep well.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I mean a child, because he's growing, his bones got
- 38:04Speaker 1: to extend, and all this is children have to sleep,
- 38:08Speaker 1: but adults, if you're sleeping eight hours you're growing, but
- 38:11Speaker 1: you're growing. You're not growing taller, you're growing wider. And
- 38:16Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I mean, like you said, Tommy,
- 38:18Speaker 1: you don't know last time you had eight hours? So
- 38:21Speaker 1: do you sleep eight hours? Never? Do you need eight hours?
- 38:26Speaker 1: Six or less? I got sick or cellars hell, I'm
- 38:31Speaker 1: sick and don't get eight out. But I just don't.
- 38:36Speaker 1: I'm not a proponent of eight hours is a third
- 38:38Speaker 1: of your life. I find that desperately hard to see
- 38:44Speaker 1: how you can have a quality life if you sleep
- 38:48Speaker 1: a third of it. That does not make sense to me.
- 38:51Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna get into that no more because
- 38:54Speaker 1: they ate me up on the internet. Thomas Steve Harvey
- 38:56Speaker 1: prefers wealth over health. So here's my thing about sleep.
- 39:00Speaker 1: If you want to sleep, get all. You won't sleep
- 39:05Speaker 1: as long as you like. You can sleep your life away.
- 39:10Speaker 1: You can sleep. You can sleep until you dream the
- 39:13Speaker 1: most magnificent dreams. But I'm telling you this. To make
- 39:16Speaker 1: a dream come true, you got to get woke. But
- 39:22Speaker 1: if you want to sleep, go ahead, Steve, don't give
- 39:24Speaker 1: a damn mom. All right, begin woke, stay woke, California,
- 39:28Speaker 1: you vote today, coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:31Speaker 1: the hour. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 39:34Speaker 1: listening to the Stave Morning Show. Okay, attention, all California
- 39:40Speaker 1: registered voters. Attention. Here is a section from an article
- 39:44Speaker 1: in the La Times on the gubernatorial Republican U Larry Elder.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Many black voters have heard him Elder deny the existence
- 39:53Speaker 1: of systemic anti black racism, have heard his defenses of
- 39:56Speaker 1: former President Trump and promotion of the birth live former
- 40:00Speaker 1: President Obama was born in Kenya. They also remember that
- 40:04Speaker 1: Elder published a book back in two thousand and eight
- 40:07Speaker 1: titled Stupid Black Men. More recently, black voters have heard
- 40:15Speaker 1: his case for reparations. Steve. You mentioned this earlier to
- 40:18Speaker 1: the descendants of slave owners who lost their property quote
- 40:22Speaker 1: unquote when enslaved black people were emancipated. Also not in
- 40:27Speaker 1: the article, but trending on social media a video back
- 40:30Speaker 1: when Larry Old Larry Elder defended George Zimmerman, the man
- 40:34Speaker 1: who of course fatally shot teenager Trayvon Martin back in
- 40:38Speaker 1: twenty twelve, and Treyvon, of course was unarmed. Florida jury
- 40:42Speaker 1: acquitted Zimmerman in twenty thirteen of all charges in that killing.
- 40:47Speaker 1: So this is Larry Elder, this guy and Toddles. He's
- 40:53Speaker 1: done everything. You don't understand whatever white folks want him
- 40:58Speaker 1: to say or need him to say. He is their
- 41:02Speaker 1: post child. He is the colored that they get to say.
- 41:07Speaker 1: And these are not regular white people. These are the
- 41:10Speaker 1: people who want the evil spread. These are the whites
- 41:15Speaker 1: who want the lie spread. They come in, they found
- 41:19Speaker 1: the ideal colored post boy, and they prop him up,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and he does their bidding. As soon as Larry Elder
- 41:28Speaker 1: is not doing their bidding, they're gonna be done with him.
- 41:31Speaker 1: How can you support George Zimmerman? How can you demand
- 41:35Speaker 1: that reparations be given to white people because they lost
- 41:39Speaker 1: their property. How can you promote the fact that you
- 41:42Speaker 1: say slavery was legal? Slavery was legal to who who
- 41:48Speaker 1: preach who was slavery legal? To slavery wasn't illegal. If
- 41:53Speaker 1: slavery was, everybody would have had slaves job people who
- 41:57Speaker 1: knew you wasn't supposed to have slaves. How can you
- 41:59Speaker 1: say such a thing. This ridiculous colored poster boy for
- 42:05Speaker 1: the evil white section of this country is Larry Elders
- 42:10Speaker 1: Where Larry from where he came from? La He's from
- 42:14Speaker 1: Los Angeles. From Los Angeles, Okay, a book call to
- 42:20Speaker 1: all the stupid black men. Stupid stupid dog dog dog,
- 42:25Speaker 1: we are awake. Uh dude, you the one, the stupid
- 42:31Speaker 1: and you and you you you you fold levels be
- 42:34Speaker 1: so stupid. You have no self esteem. When you look
- 42:37Speaker 1: in the mirror and you see your black skin, you
- 42:40Speaker 1: got to hate yourself. You have got to hate yourself
- 42:43Speaker 1: because you're doing everything to deny who you are. You've
- 42:47Speaker 1: already done that. You've never been black, You've never wanted
- 42:50Speaker 1: to be black. You don't want anything to do with black.
- 42:54Speaker 1: But the said, But the sad thing is your ass
- 42:56Speaker 1: is black? Is his white? Black? I want? I don't know.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I don't know who. Ain't no way, ain't nobody. Ain't
- 43:03Speaker 1: no black woman I know will marry his ad I
- 43:05Speaker 1: don't know now what you say, I don't know a
- 43:09Speaker 1: black woman that I know that I know black women
- 43:12Speaker 1: to be. Go marry his admir's wife. Surprise, he don't
- 43:24Speaker 1: want nothing to do with black? How are you gonna
- 43:27Speaker 1: marry a black woman when he don't want to be black? Oh?
- 43:31Speaker 1: She Lily white? What she Lily white? Look at this
- 43:35Speaker 1: quiet nephew, Oh my god, Lily white white. Horman here,
- 43:47Speaker 1: you got white, all right, So listen, stay woke. California
- 43:51Speaker 1: President Biden will be at a rally today and urging
- 43:54Speaker 1: voters to vote for Gavin Newsom. If you need information
- 43:58Speaker 1: about your polling place, voting centers, or ballot drop off locations,
- 44:02Speaker 1: contact your county elections office called the Secretary of States
- 44:05Speaker 1: Voter Hotline at one eight hundred three four five vote
- 44:10Speaker 1: one eight hundred three four or five vote. I just
- 44:13Speaker 1: found a picture online. Larry Elder has a shirt on
- 44:16Speaker 1: that says Uncle Tom. You got a t shirt on

- 54:31Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter subject She's got skeletons and bodies. Dear
- 54:36Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I met my wife on an online dating
- 54:39Speaker 1: site two years ago. All of the things she wanted
- 54:42Speaker 1: in a mail matched mine to a t. She had
- 54:45Speaker 1: been married before, and I had been engaged, but I
- 54:48Speaker 1: had called off my wedding in the nick of time.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I shared my horrible experience with my wife, and I
- 54:53Speaker 1: told her that my ex had a past that I
- 54:56Speaker 1: was unaware of, and her own family was the one
- 54:59Speaker 1: to tell about her. My wife assured me that she
- 55:03Speaker 1: had nothing to hide. I fell for her quickly, and
- 55:07Speaker 1: we got married three months ago. She did not want
- 55:09Speaker 1: a big wedding since she'd been married before, and I
- 55:12Speaker 1: told her it was fine, but my parents wanted to
- 55:15Speaker 1: have a nice reception for us. I invited my closest
- 55:18Speaker 1: friends and family, and she invited a few of her
- 55:20Speaker 1: friends and said her family wasn't able to travel. I
- 55:24Speaker 1: met her mom, so I didn't understand why she couldn't
- 55:27Speaker 1: come at the last minute, but I didn't let that
- 55:30Speaker 1: spoil our day. At the reception, she knew one of
- 55:34Speaker 1: my good female friends, but barely spoke to her. My
- 55:37Speaker 1: female friend and I have been inseparable since we were
- 55:40Speaker 1: in grade school, but she's got a wife now and
- 55:42Speaker 1: a baby, so I barely get to see her. A
- 55:46Speaker 1: few days after the reception. Yeah, my female friend and
- 55:54Speaker 1: I have been inseparable since we were in grade school,
- 55:57Speaker 1: but she's got a wife now and a baby, so
- 56:00Speaker 1: I barely get queer. Okay, focused on that, but that
- 56:07Speaker 1: ain't really none of my business. You just wanted to
- 56:09Speaker 1: make sure you were podcasting. Anybody thought I was making
- 56:12Speaker 1: an issue out of it, because I wasn't. I just
- 56:14Speaker 1: didn't know what I had heard. My gosh, Okay, moving on,
- 56:19Speaker 1: a few days after the reception, my friend sent a
- 56:22Speaker 1: plant to the house as a late gift, but it
- 56:24Speaker 1: was only addressed to me. I called and asked if
- 56:26Speaker 1: she'd forgotten to put my wife's name on it. She
- 56:29Speaker 1: said she would have put her name on it if
- 56:31Speaker 1: she knew her real name. She said, my wife had
- 56:34Speaker 1: changed her name and was still married to a man
- 56:36Speaker 1: in Connecticut that she left high and dry after he
- 56:40Speaker 1: had a motorcycle accident. I did not believe it until
- 56:43Speaker 1: I did a little research and I found out it
- 56:46Speaker 1: was true and she had She also had several dating
- 56:50Speaker 1: profiles still open just to hook up with men for sex.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I have no idea who I married. Should I contact
- 56:56Speaker 1: her other husband and tell him to come and get
- 56:59Speaker 1: her please help? Well, that would be a good start,
- 57:02Speaker 1: but he probably is happy she's out of his hands.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I think you're in love with her. You said you
- 57:07Speaker 1: fell for her quickly, but you didn't really know her.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You didn't really know who you were falling in love with.
- 57:12Speaker 1: So I said, continue to do your research, get the
- 57:15Speaker 1: facts so she won't be able to lie her way
- 57:18Speaker 1: out of this mess. I mean, we all have a past,
- 57:20Speaker 1: but your wife is on some next level shady illegal stuff.
- 57:25Speaker 1: If all of this is true, I know you're concerned
- 57:28Speaker 1: she may do the same thing to you that she
- 57:30Speaker 1: did to her last husband, leave him high and dry.
- 57:33Speaker 1: She left him high and dry, so you're thinking she
- 57:35Speaker 1: might leave you, leave you high and dry. All that
- 57:38Speaker 1: she's still on the enginet hooking up with men for sex.
- 57:40Speaker 1: You've seen that with your own eyes. So I think
- 57:42Speaker 1: the sooner you know, the whole troop, the quick truth,
- 57:45Speaker 1: the quicker you can get away from her. She's obviously
- 57:48Speaker 1: real tricky, and you don't want her to know yet
- 57:50Speaker 1: that you're investigating her and trying to get away, So
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know, do your due diligence, and then you know,
- 57:57Speaker 1: get your evidence, stack your case up, get a lawyer,
- 58:00Speaker 1: and you're probably gonna have to get rid of her
- 58:02Speaker 1: because she's not who you think you married. Steve, Well,
- 58:07Speaker 1: this seems like a cutting dry case to me. I
- 58:09Speaker 1: don't really see why we even taking time, or that
- 58:11Speaker 1: he only been married three months. You need to get
- 58:14Speaker 1: this annulled and walk out because this is crazy. You
- 58:19Speaker 1: met her own line, so you got catfished. She'd been
- 58:23Speaker 1: married before I've been engaged. I called off my way
- 58:26Speaker 1: just in the nick of time. I shared my horrible
- 58:29Speaker 1: experience with my wife, and I told her my ex
- 58:31Speaker 1: had a pass that I was unaware of, and her
- 58:33Speaker 1: own family was the one to tell me about it. Okay,
- 58:36Speaker 1: well where this one family ad See, you seem to
- 58:39Speaker 1: know how to get to the bottom of things by
- 58:41Speaker 1: talking to people's family. Where is her family? See? Once
- 58:46Speaker 1: I find out the way to know something, I use
- 58:49Speaker 1: that as an experience of getting to know something. If
- 58:52Speaker 1: I met anybody else's family and they end up telling
- 58:54Speaker 1: me some crazy stuff about somebody I was dating. When
- 58:57Speaker 1: I meet a new family, guess what we're gonna ask
- 58:59Speaker 1: some questions. Thus problem solved. My wife assured me that
- 59:04Speaker 1: she had nothing to hide. I failed for her quickly.
- 59:07Speaker 1: We got married three months ago. She didn't want a
- 59:10Speaker 1: big win, and she'd been married before. She didn't want
- 59:12Speaker 1: a big win, and because she didn't want some of
- 59:14Speaker 1: them people to come that know the truth. See, that's
- 59:18Speaker 1: why she didn't want a big win. And she need
- 59:20Speaker 1: all the people showing up that might know the facts.
- 59:24Speaker 1: She didn't want a big soul. I told her it
- 59:26Speaker 1: was fine, but my parents wanted to have a nice
- 59:28Speaker 1: reception for us. I invited my closest friends and family,
- 59:32Speaker 1: and she invited a few of her friends and said
- 59:35Speaker 1: her family wasn't able to travel. Really, you didn't think
- 59:39Speaker 1: nothing suspicious about this? None of her family could travel,
- 59:44Speaker 1: no dawn by the cousin's niece spanking them. He couldn't
- 59:50Speaker 1: know body, because you know, spanking come to everything for
- 59:56Speaker 1: up kidd folk. That's him right there. Abody got one
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: of them in their families after reception. She knew one
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: of my good female friends, but barely spoke to her.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: My female friend and I have been inseparable since we're
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: in grade school. But she's got a wife now and
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: a baby, so I barely get to see her now. Steve,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I have to let you know, sir, this section of
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the letter is not what this letter is about. So
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: get your mind off this. This ain't your damn business.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: This is twenty twenty one. This happens all the time.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I don't know why my mind is stuck in this
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: little section right here with his friend and all this here,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: But it ain't. Then when we come back, I'll share
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: with you the rest of it, and you'll find out
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: my answer. With all right, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Steve's respond to twenty three minutes after the hour Strawberry Letters,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: subject for today, she's got skeletons and bodies. We'll get
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Morning show,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today strawberry letter
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: of the subject, she has skeletons and bodies. Who Well,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you have met this lady that you're married offline. You
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: happened real quick, you to find out she got all
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: these skeletons. She told you there was nothing to hide.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: You failed. For three months ago none of her family
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: came to the wedding. She said they could, none of
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: them travel. She didn't want a big wedding calls. You know,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: other people come that know the facts. And so now
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: she'd only had a couple of friends there. Your family
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: wanted to throw you a reception. You get to the
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: reception and your wife that you've married knew one of
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: your good female friends, but badly spoke to her. Your
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: female friend and you have been inseparate since we were
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: in grade school. But she's got a wife now and
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: a baby, so I barely get sick. All right. Now,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: A few days after reception, my friend that she is
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: your girl that you was friends with since grade school,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: sent a plant to the house as a late guilt,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: but it was only addressed to me. I called and
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: answered she had forgotten to put my wife's name on it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: She said she would have put her name on it
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: if she knew her real name. So now your girlfriend knew.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: She said, my wife had changed her name and was
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: still married to a man in Connecticut that she left
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: high and dry after he had a motorcycle accident. That
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: we got, we got, We got to ask too many
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: questions right now? You mean to tell me you still
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: marry so you didn't hear that You've changed your name,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: so you didn't hear that, and your ex husband you
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: left because he had a motorcycle accident. We need to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: look into this motorcycle accident and make sure this was
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a motorcycle accident and was not attempted murder. I did
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: not believe it until I did a little research and
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: found out it was true. Hold up, bro, how you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: do how You've been played one time? And you didn't
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Google search this curl? You found her online, then you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: might as gonna find out about her online? Where does
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: where does the stupidity stop? Right? You know at one
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: point in time you can't have good sense and then
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: stop having it. But at least if you're gonna be stupid,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: at least be stupid all the way out. So dog,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: you could have looked up online? What No, she he
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: could have looked up stupid time. Somebody can understand what
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I'm saying. Tommy stupid doesn't have a cutoff point, doesn't
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: know stupidest, endless, stupidest timeless. So I wanted to know
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: when did he stopped being stupid? You know that sounds
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: like a greedy card and it'll be a big seller.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: So now should I contact her other husband and tell
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: him to come get hard? Yeah? Yeah you should. But doc,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: let me ask you a couple of questions. She changed
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: her name, you ain't know nothing about that. You googled
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: her and found her online, but you didn't google her
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to find out about her online. You can get this
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: an Are you sure it was a motorcycle accident? And
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: here's my other question, how did your girlfriend know? Though?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Ah see, how did your girlfriend know? That's what I
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: wanted to know. And your girlfriend she just met her
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: when she came to the reception, so you was already married,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: so she couldn't tell you. But she played the cold
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: part or women slickboards sent the plant with one name
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: on it. Oh, well love the way w women be slick.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Just put your name on it. He gonna call me
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: and ask me about it. And then the cat got
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: out the bag. So that's all this is. This is
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: a deceptive thing right here. She's got skeletons and bodies
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: and now you want to and now you want to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: and also hold of hole. I left this part out
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: here right here. Uh. I found out it was true.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: And she also had several dating profiles still open just
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: to hook up with me and for sex. I have
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: no idea who I mean? That's trung. Well, let me
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: tell you who you're married. You didn't marry h corn
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: artists slash hooker. Yeah, you married a slash a con
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: artist slash hook the congratulations and it's only been three months.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: You can get it annulled me mean the burger king
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, bun check. So Shirley, Uh, ask me some questions.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: If you met me online, ask me some questions, and
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you how people lie. Just any dating
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: online questions. All right? So what do you get you
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: for a living? Oh? I work. I don't need to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: be the truth. Okay, where do you live? Oh, I stay.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: There's so many choices. I got so many homes in places.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: You have a lot of homes. You know. I'm doing
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: really quite well. Wow. Have you ever been married before? No,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I've never been married. Almost got married one time, got engaged,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: but I called it off, you know, found out she
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: was a liar. I do not like lions as I'm
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Lily am. I close to my family, very close, very close,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: very close. Well, I'd love to continue talking to you,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: but we have to go too. Your comments on Today's

- 1:09:06Speaker 1: this week right now, we're gonna have trouble all week
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: with him. Okay, well, let me just say that. I

- 1:09:27Speaker 1: impressed with Tyrod Taylor. I am from He got out
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: man boy. You know, hey, man, he used to play
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: in Cleveland too. We liked him in Cleveland, Yeah he did. Yeah,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: he's a man boy. I'm gonna tell you something, man.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: It was a lot of stars at the Raiders game too.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: It was man so Las Vegas. You know, we owned

- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I'm right after Thanks, guys. We'll have more of the
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this. Yeah,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: peaches aking here. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: So guys, today we're gonna talk about when growing up
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: was fun. All right, you never forgot the neighborhood kids
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: you grew up with. No matter how hard you try,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you never forget them. Uh so, Steve, you never forget names.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Name someone from your neighborhood. You will never forget. And
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: tell us why that's easy ends to this day. Oh
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Biggie Wig, big thoughts. He's a planner. But never someone
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: was gonna pop off. Everybody went to Biggie Wig. His
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: real name is, his last name is Biggins. Got it
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: his last name? Okay, so you know black people, Biggie
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: weigh and that's what the combination is. Then you had
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Manny his nickname whom who whom h o O n
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: who's all we call His name is Emmanuel Calhoun. We
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: just called him whom the Anthony martor Moony mooning. Yeah,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: then it was I was tat chip glowing up and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: it turned into wonder love at college. Why were you chip?
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Because my body was shaped black tato chip. So you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: just had to ride with that was no getting out
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: of it. Crispy and on the all right, and Onion, Onion, Onion?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: What's caused his severe gland problem? He had He staked
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: like he staked like it was a male function. So
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: his name was Onion. He had to be doing nothing, no,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: just standing there. Roma that came off that boarder. Have
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you ever have you ever looked out on concrete? You've
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: been standing somewhere and look way out and the distance
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: on concrete and you see them heat waves coming out.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: That's what came off him in the form of funk
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: A little answer. You remember cartoon liners, Yeah, you remember
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: the little dude to be pig p and be standing
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: there just dirt. Just this dude, just onion, the hair.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Funk just come off of man. Wow, I'm talking about man,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: unlievable older. So when we was little boys, why was
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: that your crew? Though? What's so special about those group
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: of guys hundred twelfth Street, same area. We needed each
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: other because we was our own protection, because you know,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: we had games back then, but with no shooting and killing.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: The gangs were just fistfight this our block. You don't
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: come over here this hour. And that's how it was
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: all the time. And they just they protected their street.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: And when it was time to walk to school, you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: had to walk to school past other neighborhoods. So y'all
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: all walked to school together in case something happened, like
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: if I cross Bartlet, I had to deal with the
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: peewee markey, if I had to go up that empire,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: had to deal with noble disciples. We were just gangs
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: just fighting. You know, we would have gang fights. You
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: meet us in the church park because like you bring
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: ten church church parking lot, church ground church. That's not
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: how we looked at that. Well, just about location, convenience,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: it's all about. But they had a big dirt parking
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: lot where you could fall and would really hurt yourself.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: That bad fighting the playground. We fought at the big
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: dirt parking lot because it was all dirt, and he said,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: you bring ten, I bring ten. Well, I never bought
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: the number. I told y'all, you can't give you that
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: information up front. I'm gonna bring ten, all right, I
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: bring ten too. Then I just undercount. I got fifteen minimum,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: at least a minimum all bikes. I loved it back then.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: But back then with simple it was fights. You know,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: we forgave each other did we see each other at school?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: And then y'all became cool, right sometimes you know we cool?
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You know you can say, hey, man, side about that. Yeah,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you know, like if you hit somebody two hard busses,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I yeah, stuff like now totally different. Yeah, okay, well,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: thank you for that trip down memory lane story. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: for tell me something good news. So, Steve, we got

- 1:15:43Speaker 1: career exposure and leadership development, global service, cultural, global and
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: philanthropic awareness. Check out more on the Harvey Foundation social
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: media pages and the website Harvey Foundation dot org. The
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: girls did it, Yeah, they did it good. Marjorie. Yeah,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: she did a thing this weekend. Proud of her. She
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: my wife. My wife still ain't recovery from Jed LaGG
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: though she went on straight struggle, it didn't look like it.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: She was there for those girls. No, she came home
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and was done. Stopped laughing at me. Baby you ti Hi?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Who am I talking to? Yeah? Uh, but it's good work, man.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: We enjoyed it. That's That's a big turn of our life,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: is mentoring. Yeah, that's the one thing I'll probably never
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: stopped doing. Long after I retire. That'll probably be That's
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: gonna be my life's work. Oh man, I'm scared for sake,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: God's work. When you were tired, Junior, you've grown love.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: What was I gonna do? We Let Moore of the
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: after right after this, you're listening to the show. Okay, attention,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: all California registered voters. Attention. Here is a section from
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: an article in the La Times on the gubernatorial Republican
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Larry Elder. Many black voters have heard him Elder deny
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: the existence of systemic anti black racism, have heard his
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: defenses of former President Trump and promotion of the birth
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: or lie that former President Obama was born in Kenya.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: They also remembered that Elder published a book back in
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: two thousand and eight titled Stupid Black Men. More recently,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: black voters have heard his case for reparations. Steve. You
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: mentioned this earlier to the descendants of slave owners who
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: lost their property quote unquote when enslaved black people were emancipated.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Also not in the article, but trending on social media
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: a video back when Larry Old Larry Elder defended George Zimmerman,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the man who of course fatally shot teenager Trayvon Martin
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: back in twenty twelve, and Trayvon, of course was unarmed.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Florida jury acquitted Zimmerman in twenty thirteen of all charges
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: in that killing. So this is Larry Elders. This guy
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: is anti blax me. He's done everything you don't understand
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: whatever white folks want him to say, or need him
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: to say. He is their poster child. He is the
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: colored that they get to say. And these are not
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: regular white people. These are the people who want the
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: evil spread. These are the whites who want the live spread.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: They come in, they found the ideal colored post boy,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: and they prop him up, and he does their bidding.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: As soon as Larry Elder is not doing their bidding,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: they're gonna be done with him. How can you support
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: George Zimmerman? How can you demand that reparations be given
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: to white people because they lost their property. How can
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: you promote the fact that you say slavery was legal,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Slavery was legal to who who? Who was slavery legal?
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: To Slavery wasn't llegal. If slavery was legal, everybody would
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: have had slaves. Now, people who knew you wasn't supposed
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to have slaves. How can you say such a thing.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: This ridiculous colored poster boy for the evil white section
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: of this country is Larry Elder. A book called to
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: all the stupid Black men, Dog Dog, Dog, we are awake,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you the one that stupid, you fold levels below stupid.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: You have no self esteem. When you look in the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: mirror and you see your black skin, you got to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: hate yourself. You have got to hate yourself because you're
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: doing everything to deny who you are. You've already done that.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: You've never been black, You've never wanted to be black.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: You don't want anything to do with black but the same.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: But the sad thing is your ass is black. Vote
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: California vote coming up. It is our last break of
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: one and only Steve Hartley at forty nine minutes after
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the hour right after this, you're listening to show. All Right, guys,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Tuesday election day in California. I know you'll have something
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: to say about that, Steve. Yeah, go ahead. But first, Yeah,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: we have one more CLO question left over from earlier.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: These people need help, Steve, So here we are. This
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: is for the CLO. Tondola and Memphis says. I'm a
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: forty one year old married woman and I'm in a
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: situation with my husband's brother. He's been living with us
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: for the past few months, and he told my husband
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: that I purposely put on leggings and cut off shirts
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: when I'm in home at home alone with him. He's
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: told my husband that I make him uncomfortable when I
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: walk around my house, my house, my house, now in
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: my robe. I told my husband that I will always
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: be comfortable in my house. And it's time for his
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: brother to move. My husband won't put him out, So
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: how do I reclaim my house? You put him out.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: It's your wife, you put him out. But see this brother,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: he out of line very much. So I'm uncomfortable with
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: your wife walking around in leggings in her house. Coach,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: hold on dog. So what you're really telling your brother
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: is you're lusty after his wife. That's what you said
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: as she walking around her house. So she got be
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: fully rolled and clothed, she got on leggings at home,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: and you can't handle it. So now you've told your
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: brother you're uncomfortable. Man, miss me, you get the hell
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: out of my house. You're gonna get the hell out
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: of my house. You walk in your house and you say,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: excuse me, I have an announcement to make. You have
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: one week to move. There you go, you have one
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: week to move. I'm not asking Herbert, I'm not trying
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: to get him to go along with this hill. I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: want you out of my house in one week, and
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: your brother can't stop it. And if your brother talked
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: crazy to me, you can take your brother with your
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: ass too. Na. Na. And you're a woman, you got
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: every right to do that because that's your house too.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: That's right my sitting there, man, being comfortable in my
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: own house. Oh no, I'm not going to do that though,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: but somebody else that don't. Yeah, and brother, what she
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: has on for? What so she can make her stop
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: wearing those clothes in her house? What does he do
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: so he can be comfortable? Get your ass out, Go
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: get a house where you can be comfortable me, right, y'all?
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Comfort level? Yeah? Man, that's got to be his older brother.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I won't, won't walking around or something like please, man,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I get this dude out of here so fast. It's
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: no way I'm taking that right there. Yeah, And he's
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: been there a while, Steve old ass got to go
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: by it out And speaking of bye bye to Larry
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Elder raggedy tail out. Yeah you know, uh look, look
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: listen to me. Uh today the lines are not gonna
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: be long, guys, because it's a special election. You can
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: go and vote. Go and vote. Take your voter ID,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: take your registration card, take your driver's license, and go
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: and vote. Go and vote today for Governor Gavin Newsom.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: This we call is ridiculous. This human being, Larry Elder,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: He's despicable. Man. I've never I mean, I've seen it before,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: but not at this level. This is a guy who
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: was born into this world to look as though he
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: was black or African American, who wants nothing to do
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: with it at all, who was in total defense of
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the extreme right wing, not just the Conservative Party, the
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: extreme right that pushes idiotic theories that slavery was legal,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that that should be operations for slave owners because they
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: lost property and in case you all don't know, slavery
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: was legal, are you kidding me? Man? And they got
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: a black person. They found a color to say this
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: for them. See, that's what they did. He has a
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: shirt on online and he got a black tshirt with
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Uncle Tom on it. This is a picture that's online.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: I'm not making this up. He understands he's trying to
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: make fun of it. His wife is white. What has
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: nothing to do with you being an Uncle Tom or
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: sell out a None of that has nothing to do
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: with it. I'm just adding that fact. But then somebody
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: was saying, man, he married a white woman. Why would
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: he marry a black person when that's the last thing
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: he wants to be on this earth. If I'm pretty
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: sure if Larry Elder could be white, he would do
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: everything in his power. So since he can't change his skin,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: he's changed his mind north. So now he's made himself
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to think to the extreme conservative level and be as white.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: How what's the whitest I can think? Since I can't
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: be white, and what's the whitest most extreme level of
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: conservatism I can act? Like? Since I can't be white?
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Maybe Dan da is laxman, you're not gonna do it.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: That's what I do. I does that, and that's exactly
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: what he did. And so you all, Governor Gavin Newsom
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: is on the ballot and we are not giving up California,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: and we're gonna make it known. So everybody in La,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: everybody in Sacramento, everybody in California, everybody staying Jose, go
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: vote and send a message to these hate people that
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: we're not having it. And I vote speaks and we
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: all will now it. We're not going back to sleep.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks today. Thank you Larry eld. Wow,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: that's gonna make a miracles great at you. For all
