- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbing me true good Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: together for I don't join joining me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turning you're going to do, you are you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn You got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I show will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice I said, come on now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I dig me the one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Okay, Now, I'm gonna be really honest
- 2:15Speaker 1: with you this morning. I really don't know what to say.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I really don't. I was sitting here and I was thinking,
- 2:28Speaker 1: what do I say today. I do know that I
- 2:32Speaker 1: want to be encouraging, uplifting and inspirational in some way
- 2:39Speaker 1: to affect somebody today. Oftentimes, these conversations that I have
- 2:44Speaker 1: in the mornings, they're designed with me because I needed myself,
- 2:51Speaker 1: y'all to be honest with you. I mean, you know
- 2:56Speaker 1: who who makes the comedian laugh? I used to say
- 2:59Speaker 1: all the time. And even though what we talk about
- 3:03Speaker 1: in the morning is not a laughing matter. It kind
- 3:06Speaker 1: of likes It's why I am today. You know, I
- 3:10Speaker 1: need motivation in my life sometimes myself. I think when
- 3:14Speaker 1: I get in moments like this, I often resort back
- 3:20Speaker 1: to the same thing over and over and over. And
- 3:25Speaker 1: when I find myself in certain predicaments, I can always
- 3:31Speaker 1: fall back on the same thing over and over. So
- 3:34Speaker 1: while I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to
- 3:37Speaker 1: say to you, the one thing that I did do
- 3:41Speaker 1: this morning that I find to be very consistent in
- 3:44Speaker 1: me is that I find myself grateful. I'm ever grateful
- 3:51Speaker 1: for the things that God has done for me. I
- 3:54Speaker 1: may not always know what to say, but I know
- 3:58Speaker 1: how to say thank you. I do. I know how
- 4:01Speaker 1: to remember and reflect back on where I come from.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I know how to realize where all my blessings come from.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm very very conscious of my journey that I've been on,
- 4:19Speaker 1: the the one that was from then until now, that
- 4:23Speaker 1: journey right there is it's been. It's been. It's been.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It's been difficult, man, it really really has. I ain't
- 4:32Speaker 1: gonna lie to you, um me, becoming successful was very difficult.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But as hard as this is to say, I really
- 4:44Speaker 1: really mean this I wouldn't change nothing about the trip
- 4:51Speaker 1: I've been on number one, because I can't change anything
- 4:57Speaker 1: about it, so I never live my life in regret.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But the main thing is was I discovered along the
- 5:06Speaker 1: way now not doing the process when you're going through
- 5:11Speaker 1: rough moments that you can't hardly see the good in
- 5:13Speaker 1: it at the time. It's just rough for you and
- 5:16Speaker 1: it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes I thought it was unfair.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But as I am now, I needed every single thing
- 5:25Speaker 1: that happened to me, that happened to me to happen
- 5:30Speaker 1: to me. I hope that makes sense to you. I
- 5:36Speaker 1: needed everything to happen in the exact order and the
- 5:40Speaker 1: exact way that it happened in order for me to
- 5:45Speaker 1: be the person that I've become. And that right there, man,
- 5:51Speaker 1: is just very comforting to me. Mister Jakes told me
- 5:56Speaker 1: one time, he said, the closer you get to God,
- 5:59Speaker 1: the more friendly you all become, the more He will
- 6:03Speaker 1: reveal to you the how it comes and the what
- 6:09Speaker 1: fas of a lot of things has happened to you.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Because a lot of times what troubles us is we
- 6:14Speaker 1: just can't understand why we lost that love one back
- 6:17Speaker 1: then we just can't understand why we didn't get what
- 6:22Speaker 1: we wanted back then. We just don't understand how come
- 6:26Speaker 1: our plan didn't work out and we had to fail
- 6:29Speaker 1: so miserably back then. We don't understand the answers to
- 6:33Speaker 1: these things. Well, the closer I've gotten to God, the
- 6:37Speaker 1: more those explanations have become crystal clear to me. And See,
- 6:42Speaker 1: the one thing that I came to the realization everybody
- 6:45Speaker 1: is that the things that was happening to me, they
- 6:48Speaker 1: wasn't really all bad. They really wasn't that they didn't
- 6:52Speaker 1: taste good. When it was happening, I didn't enjoy what
- 6:55Speaker 1: I was going through. But as I look back on
- 6:58Speaker 1: him and reflect now, it wasn't all bad. Some of
- 7:00Speaker 1: those things was so necessary for me to get the
- 7:03Speaker 1: information because say, I don't know about you, but I'm
- 7:05Speaker 1: kind of hard headed and stubborn. I said, I don't
- 7:09Speaker 1: know about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I kind of like to think that I know something
- 7:17Speaker 1: about some things every now and then, and the things
- 7:21Speaker 1: I am convinced about. I don't really really care for
- 7:24Speaker 1: people trying to talk me off mine, so I can
- 7:28Speaker 1: be stubborn and hard headed. Sometimes God knows that about me.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So I think to get some of the messages crystal
- 7:35Speaker 1: clear through the me that I needed to learn. That
- 7:38Speaker 1: was this process I had to go through. That process
- 7:41Speaker 1: was my journey, It was my trip, It was my woa,
- 7:45Speaker 1: my pain. Say, everybody got them different, It don't matter
- 7:48Speaker 1: what it is. Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain,
- 7:51Speaker 1: everybody got a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got
- 7:56Speaker 1: some challenge. I don't care who you are, duds, Quit
- 7:58Speaker 1: looking at me thinking that I got going on so
- 8:01Speaker 1: tough man. But if it's Steve, yeah, it's easy for
- 8:03Speaker 1: you to say that, but you ain't here. You don't know. Wow, Ben,
- 8:08Speaker 1: if you would stop hanging yourself up on your pass
- 8:11Speaker 1: worried about your woes and your troubles and the situation
- 8:15Speaker 1: you're in, and start praying and start asking God to
- 8:19Speaker 1: get you through it. See, a lot of times you
- 8:22Speaker 1: messed it. You messed a message up yourself, because when
- 8:25Speaker 1: you're going through some stuff, you ask God to remove
- 8:28Speaker 1: it and take it away. That ain't the lesson. You
- 8:30Speaker 1: got to learn your lesson Sometimes it's it's gotta be
- 8:34Speaker 1: how to be strong, how to see it through, how
- 8:39Speaker 1: to bear under it, how to carry that weight long
- 8:42Speaker 1: distances for long periods of time. That's how you get strong.
- 8:47Speaker 1: The lesson is to make you stronger. But to make
- 8:50Speaker 1: you stronger, you got to carry the weight. You can't
- 8:52Speaker 1: get stronger. You're gonna go to gym or you're gonna
- 8:54Speaker 1: do something at your house to lift your own body weight. See,
- 8:58Speaker 1: a lot of people can't even do pushups down. They
- 9:03Speaker 1: can't get down, And then the course of a day,
- 9:06Speaker 1: give you a hundred push ups because they ain't. They ain't,
- 9:08Speaker 1: They ain't. Never try to daybody. They get to twenty
- 9:12Speaker 1: and that shake it so bad they stop. That's too
- 9:14Speaker 1: much for me. Well, let me tell you something. So
- 9:16Speaker 1: I learned to quit praying to take stuff away. My
- 9:19Speaker 1: prayer became to give me the strength to handle it.
- 9:22Speaker 1: People oftentimes ask me, how do you do all that
- 9:24Speaker 1: you do in the course of the day. I don't
- 9:27Speaker 1: really know. I just know I can because I know
- 9:32Speaker 1: God don't put more on you than you can bath.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So when you ask me how you do all of
- 9:37Speaker 1: what you do in the course of the day, I
- 9:39Speaker 1: got God. God is good. He'll get you through whatever
- 9:44Speaker 1: it is you're going through. So when you're tripping in
- 9:46Speaker 1: you don't know what to say, reflect and be grateful
- 9:51Speaker 1: for all you reflect on. Think about God's goodness and
- 9:54Speaker 1: watch what he do for you. That's the cold part. Okay,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, here we are to
- 10:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show us live again. Good morning, everybody.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Get ready and prepare yourself to have a blessed date.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Live your life today in expectation that God is going
- 10:16Speaker 1: to do something for you today, as he already has.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Seeing this, how you've awakened. Okay, so now that that
- 10:23Speaker 1: is accomplished, that's a great, big thank you Lord right down.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So now let's just expect him to do some other
- 10:32Speaker 1: things for us. Live your life in expectation and in
- 10:36Speaker 1: watchful anticipation of what that God we serve can do
- 10:40Speaker 1: for you. That's how I live my life. I suggest
- 10:43Speaker 1: you try that. It's a wonderful way to live because
- 10:46Speaker 1: something usually always happens when you proclaim it. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:51Speaker 1: this is Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make no mistakable bout it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Hum huh about Shelley Shawberry. Good morning, Steve. I feel
- 11:04Speaker 1: like it today too. Colin Ferrera you're sounding good. What's up?
- 11:09Speaker 1: Boss man? Pipper ain't easy, but somebody got to do it.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Speaking of pimping, here's the voice that could have been
- 11:17Speaker 1: a pimp, Ladies and gentleman Junior morning. Uh yeah, your
- 11:22Speaker 1: voice is back. You strong now? Yeah? Yeah yeah Tommy,
- 11:28Speaker 1: tom big doggy dog in the building, David Yo. Yes, folks.
- 11:35Speaker 1: We often had this conversation off as on this morning
- 11:38Speaker 1: show because, according to Tommy and a couple of the
- 11:43Speaker 1: Morning show people that I won't mention have oftentimes questioned
- 11:50Speaker 1: the route that I took to have the achievements that
- 11:53Speaker 1: I have based on the limited limited tech skills and
- 12:01Speaker 1: actual grasp of the English language, and so lack of
- 12:09Speaker 1: grasp of the English language, spelling and tech savviness has
- 12:14Speaker 1: caused them to doubt and question how I got him. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: it's just it's it's just, you know, the wonder of
- 12:26Speaker 1: the world. Basically that Tommy, because like, okay, I'll tell you,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you what started one day. You know how
- 12:35Speaker 1: you be writing and you'd be texting and you get
- 12:37Speaker 1: stuck on a little simple word. The word was was no,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I was cool and not just saying hey man, just
- 12:46Speaker 1: we was off the on commercial break and I said,
- 12:48Speaker 1: hey man, how you spell was? And you know that
- 12:53Speaker 1: at that that little reaction from the peanut gallery was
- 12:58Speaker 1: so Tommy said, what route did you take? How the
- 13:04Speaker 1: hell you make it? We're sitting up here here here
- 13:08Speaker 1: a leader and he can't spell word great letter? Remember
- 13:13Speaker 1: the other word you couldn't spell you, ma'am? Yeah, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I still struggle with that, ma'am. Here kind of check it.
- 13:22Speaker 1: You gotta admit. All right, we come back. I'm gonna
- 13:25Speaker 1: tell you how I did it. If you want. You're
- 13:27Speaker 1: listening Morning show right now, it's time for the nephew
- 13:32Speaker 1: to run that brank back. Title is naked Lifeguard. Let's
- 13:37Speaker 1: go cat make a lifeguard. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 13:42Speaker 1: reach a carry. Yes, this is carried hi carry. My
- 13:48Speaker 1: name is Oliver. Oliver. You uh put in an application
- 13:51Speaker 1: with with the employment agency about looking fortunate work as
- 13:54Speaker 1: far as being a lifeguard. Oh yeah, I did. Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Have you had much experience being a life start? Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I've been doing this for a while now, back since
- 14:04Speaker 1: I was like eighteen I got my CPR certification. I've
- 14:11Speaker 1: had as many as like two hundred people at one
- 14:14Speaker 1: time watching them. So I'm good. I'm good at what
- 14:17Speaker 1: I do. I love it. Very good, very good. Well,
- 14:20Speaker 1: i'll tell you what. I've looked over your application and
- 14:23Speaker 1: I've checked everything out thoroughly, and I'm very excited about
- 14:26Speaker 1: maybe getting you too. I don't know if you're familiar
- 14:29Speaker 1: with it, but public pool it's actually in a subdivision.
- 14:33Speaker 1: There's two pools there. Are you familiar with Yeah, I'm
- 14:36Speaker 1: familiar with it. They're they're near where I live. Yeah, okay, Well,
- 14:40Speaker 1: there's actually in the back of the gated community and
- 14:44Speaker 1: that is actually the particular property that I'm talking about.
- 14:47Speaker 1: You coming out and working for us there at the
- 14:50Speaker 1: pool site. If we can get you on Monday to Friday,
- 14:53Speaker 1: We're gonna actually hire some more college students for Saturday
- 14:58Speaker 1: and Sunday. What do you say, Oh, I say, okay,
- 15:01Speaker 1: that sounds great. Money weekends off. Yeah, yeah exactly. Now
- 15:06Speaker 1: we start off job actually pays twenty five dollars an hour. Wow.
- 15:12Speaker 1: You would be our head lifeguard, and we would we
- 15:16Speaker 1: would want you to be there from you know, I
- 15:18Speaker 1: mean if you start at twelve, we'd actually like you
- 15:20Speaker 1: to get there around eleven thirty, you know, just to
- 15:23Speaker 1: be prepared and be the overseer and make sure the
- 15:26Speaker 1: other lifeguards get there on time, and you know we'll
- 15:28Speaker 1: go from there. Okay, I carry there's only one catch
- 15:32Speaker 1: that that actually comes along with this job. We want
- 15:35Speaker 1: you to work an additional four hours from six to
- 15:38Speaker 1: ten at night. But it's gonna pay you fifty dollars
- 15:41Speaker 1: per hour, so you'll make an extra two hundred dollars.
- 15:43Speaker 1: How do you feel about that? Man? I feel good.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I mean, with the recession and everything, I can use
- 15:49Speaker 1: that money right now, especially during the summertime. Okay, Now
- 15:53Speaker 1: here's the deal. This is in a gated community, like
- 15:55Speaker 1: I told you before, but also it's gonna be adults
- 15:58Speaker 1: at night, and and they are actually gonna be swimming nude. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: they're gonna be swimming nude. And what they ask is,
- 16:08Speaker 1: if they're gonna be swimming nude, they want to make
- 16:10Speaker 1: sure that the lifeguard that's protecting them is gonna be
- 16:13Speaker 1: nude as well. Okay, I'm ana certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I'm a student. I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't
- 16:25Speaker 1: on my resume and and I understand that wholeheartedly. But
- 16:29Speaker 1: we're talking about you possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty
- 16:33Speaker 1: dollars a week. How do you feel about seventeen hundred
- 16:35Speaker 1: and fifty a week for your nursing school. I'm sure
- 16:37Speaker 1: that'll that'll definitely pay for it throughout the entire summer.
- 16:40Speaker 1: That should be a big help, shouldn't it? Yeah? It would.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean, are are you? How do
- 16:48Speaker 1: you feel about trying it for a few weeks and
- 16:50Speaker 1: then you know, how do you feel about that? I
- 16:53Speaker 1: don't know, but I mean, you're gonna watch over with
- 16:56Speaker 1: some adults who are actually just gonna be nude in
- 16:59Speaker 1: the pool, and and you're nude as well up on
- 17:01Speaker 1: the big chair that overwatches everybody. Seventeen fifty I don't
- 17:09Speaker 1: seventeen fifty carry, you know, I don't think I'm gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: be able to do that seventeen fifty carry. We're talking
- 17:16Speaker 1: about four hours of you being nude along with some
- 17:20Speaker 1: other people that are already knew. So, I mean, what's
- 17:21Speaker 1: the big deal? You know? What we need you to
- 17:23Speaker 1: do is come down. We're gonna do some drills, some
- 17:26Speaker 1: lifeguard drills, and make sure that you're definitely qualified. But
- 17:29Speaker 1: we're gonna make sure that when you do those. You
- 17:31Speaker 1: gotta be naked as well. Okay, what what Why would
- 17:34Speaker 1: I have to do some drills naked? I'm on a
- 17:38Speaker 1: radio life car. What do I need to drill? Understand that?
- 17:41Speaker 1: But in order we for our particular property, we gotta
- 17:44Speaker 1: make sure that you're actually prepared and ready. You know, understand. Well,
- 17:48Speaker 1: that's the way it is, Karroy. We need you to
- 17:50Speaker 1: come down and do some drills. It's not gonna take
- 17:53Speaker 1: a long probably about a half hour. You come down,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you get undrafted, you get in the pool, and we
- 17:57Speaker 1: make sure that you're qualified to swim nude, to handle
- 18:02Speaker 1: to saving somebody's life nude. It's the whole nine yards.
- 18:05Speaker 1: But what I mean, what if my family come to
- 18:08Speaker 1: that you don't carry You know, I can't go back
- 18:11Speaker 1: and forth with you. I can't now. I know you
- 18:13Speaker 1: you you know. I looked at your resume, I looked
- 18:15Speaker 1: at what you were doing and what you're pursuing in life,
- 18:18Speaker 1: and I thought this would be a great opportunity for you.
- 18:20Speaker 1: But I can't be here. I mean, I can't do
- 18:22Speaker 1: that to my family. You can know. No, wait a minute,
- 18:25Speaker 1: hang on a second, now, you can't tell me you
- 18:27Speaker 1: can't do it. Now Oh yes, yes, I can't. You
- 18:30Speaker 1: get your down here in the morning so I can
- 18:32Speaker 1: get these drills done, and I want you naked when
- 18:35Speaker 1: you get here and getting this pool. You understand me.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Who the hell do you think you're talking to? Are
- 18:39Speaker 1: you some kind of pool pimp? Life guard? You? My
- 18:42Speaker 1: resources are tip you're not tipping me. I don't have
- 18:46Speaker 1: to come them down there. If I want to come
- 18:47Speaker 1: down there, you gotta bring you think it down here
- 18:49Speaker 1: tomorrow and get in this pool and do the drill.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Do you think you're talking to I'm talking to you
- 18:55Speaker 1: you tomorrow and you do the drill. Need to do it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Don't get you a pimlin say baywatching because I ain't
- 19:02Speaker 1: trust you doing a new brass shot for you all
- 19:06Speaker 1: freaking I don't know them. I don't know them people.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't give it. Who you know? Now, you get
- 19:11Speaker 1: your down here and you take the job. I'm not
- 19:14Speaker 1: coming down that to your fun told tomorrow and swim
- 19:18Speaker 1: now and life go ahead, noodle for a bunch of runchy.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I don't know do you take your time? So I'm
- 19:24Speaker 1: trying to be nice to you when you come around
- 19:26Speaker 1: with that. But because I'm not that kind of a girl.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You got me? Okay, you need to gonna get you
- 19:32Speaker 1: a Pamela and sen Baywatch. You know DeepC diving. I
- 19:37Speaker 1: don't know what you need, but I'm not what you need.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You get your black down here tomorrow. What you talking to?
- 19:44Speaker 1: I'm talking to you? Who you think you're talking to?
- 19:46Speaker 1: What I'm talking to you? Do you think you're talking to?
- 19:50Speaker 1: I got something I want to say to you. You're listening?
- 19:52Speaker 1: You know what? You You gotta go ahead and stay
- 19:54Speaker 1: because I'm hang up this pone in your face right now.
- 19:57Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from this Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:01Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your girlfriend. I just frank you, baby,
- 20:14Speaker 1: your girlfriend frank that you are one last float. All right,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, baby. What is the baddest
- 20:24Speaker 1: radio show in the land? The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:31Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 20:34Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show. Well, now,
- 20:39Speaker 1: anyone in a relationship knows that no matter how much
- 20:42Speaker 1: you love someone you know, kissy, kissy, smoothie, all of that,
- 20:46Speaker 1: how much you love them, there are things about them
- 20:49Speaker 1: that get on your nerves. Okay, I read it. Paul asked,
- 20:53Speaker 1: what's the one thing you wish you could say to
- 20:56Speaker 1: your spouse or your mate but you cannot bring yourself
- 20:59Speaker 1: to say it because you know it's gonna cost World
- 21:04Speaker 1: War three? Up in there some head, you know, like
- 21:07Speaker 1: a little bitty gripe, Like we can just go with that.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I got all right. Oh why don't you shut up? Oh? Uh, okay,
- 21:16Speaker 1: let me, that's not me. Let me just let me
- 21:20Speaker 1: ask this question before you jump the gun. Mister Harvey,
- 21:24Speaker 1: you said what you want to say, but you don't

- 27:44Speaker 1: Ask the Clo. If you want advice from the Cello,
- 27:47Speaker 1: please submit your questions to Steve Harvey FM dot com.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Here we go, CLO. You ready? This one is from
- 27:56Speaker 1: Sandy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sandy is thirty two year
- 27:59Speaker 1: old feet mail. She broke up with her boyfriend last
- 28:02Speaker 1: week after he had his wisdom teeth pulled. After his procedure,
- 28:06Speaker 1: he was still sedated, but he talked all the way home.
- 28:09Speaker 1: He called me his ex girlfriend's name over and over
- 28:13Speaker 1: and said he loves her and he's glad they got
- 28:15Speaker 1: back together. Wait, against better, I told him that my
- 28:21Speaker 1: name is Sandy and his ex girlfriend is married. He
- 28:24Speaker 1: started crying. He was so hurt because she is the
- 28:29Speaker 1: love of his life. Now he's telling all this to
- 28:31Speaker 1: his current girlfriends. Of course, he doesn't remember any of this,
- 28:35Speaker 1: and he keeps telling me that he truly loves me.
- 28:37Speaker 1: He blames everything on the sedative, but I think he's
- 28:41Speaker 1: still in love with his ex. What do you think, CLO? Wow,
- 28:45Speaker 1: this is my favorite. When he busted out crying, that's
- 28:52Speaker 1: the move I like cousin. Yes, I think he busted
- 28:55Speaker 1: her crying when you busted him. Oh god, I'm said,
- 28:59Speaker 1: he because she's the love of his life. Is that? Yeah?
- 29:05Speaker 1: That that dog going drug stuff is a monster. Man.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I've said some stuff coming out of sedation a couple
- 29:10Speaker 1: of times. I told her in the operating room. One
- 29:14Speaker 1: time when I had that procedure, they said, wow, your
- 29:18Speaker 1: husband really loves you. He told us on his way out.
- 29:22Speaker 1: If he don't wake up, he gonna kill everybody. Oh
- 29:25Speaker 1: you say that sober? Yeah, I know getting here well,
- 29:30Speaker 1: I said that. Yeah, guilty is charged. They said. One
- 29:34Speaker 1: time I woke up and I was crying, talking about
- 29:36Speaker 1: I want my wife, I want my wife, and I said,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I don't know getting here, Well, I wasn't crying, she said, Steve,
- 29:41Speaker 1: everybody in there say you was crying. I said, you
- 29:44Speaker 1: tell that to somebody here and see what happened, So
- 29:47Speaker 1: it can happen. I think he, Uh, he shouldn't have
- 29:51Speaker 1: talked about his girlfriend. If it ain't in you, it
- 29:54Speaker 1: can't come out exactly. Steve. You know what I mean.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So I mean he thinking about her, you know, man. Oh,
- 30:01Speaker 1: that's what I say. He does love you. But she's
- 30:05Speaker 1: steal in there. But just give us some time. Y'all
- 30:07Speaker 1: ain't been dating that long? Right, how long they've been dating?
- 30:10Speaker 1: They've been together for a minute. She didn't really say
- 30:14Speaker 1: how long. She just says she's thirty two and they
- 30:17Speaker 1: broke up last week. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's all. They
- 30:19Speaker 1: might not have been with you long enough. Yeah yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: so all right. Well this one is from Keith in
- 30:25Speaker 1: Las Vegas. Keith says, wait, do you hear this one?
- 30:28Speaker 1: He's a sixty one sixty one year old retiree. He
- 30:31Speaker 1: was married for twenty seven years. He got caught cheating
- 30:34Speaker 1: and his wife divorced him. I just started online dating
- 30:37Speaker 1: and it's kept me busy. The women I date are younger,
- 30:41Speaker 1: in their late forties, and they're also looking for a
- 30:43Speaker 1: good time. But they don't know how to please a
- 30:46Speaker 1: man like me. When I'm with a woman, I need
- 30:49Speaker 1: her to talk to me, tell me how she likes it,
- 30:52Speaker 1: and tell me what I'm shows, tell me that I'm
- 30:55Speaker 1: showing out. I can't believe how selfish these women are.
- 30:59Speaker 1: It's all about them, and they're quiet and shy in
- 31:01Speaker 1: the bedroom. Should I tell these women what I expect
- 31:04Speaker 1: from them? Beforehand. Well you can tell them. But if
- 31:07Speaker 1: you want somebody to tell you that you showing out,
- 31:11Speaker 1: maybe you ain't showing out, you know what I'm saying, Dog,
- 31:15Speaker 1: Maybe you ain't all that. You want everybody cheating you
- 31:17Speaker 1: own and clapping. You know you want it. You want
- 31:20Speaker 1: everybody to put on pom pom, But maybe you're not
- 31:23Speaker 1: putting on a pom pom type performance. So he's not that. Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 1: you want all this praise. You know. I like a
- 31:31Speaker 1: woman please me. Well maybe they like a man to
- 31:33Speaker 1: please then, you know what I'm saying. Just because you
- 31:37Speaker 1: got called cheating, don't mean it was good. Yeah, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: could have been still been with your wife if you
- 31:42Speaker 1: weren't cheating. I mean you know, plus, if you was
- 31:45Speaker 1: all that good, your wife might have gave you another chance.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I stinging me, Yeah side dog, Sorry about that. Dog,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I just ain't handle the wheel to go with your
- 31:58Speaker 1: Keith my bad player. I'll probably don't even know you
- 32:01Speaker 1: at all, So just right, that's off as a joke.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Next question, All right, this is from T and Evanston, Illinois.
- 32:08Speaker 1: T says, I'm forty four years old and my fiance
- 32:11Speaker 1: is thirty five. She's got a two year old son,
- 32:14Speaker 1: and my two children are grown. She wants one more child,
- 32:17Speaker 1: and I don't. I jokingly told her that she can
- 32:21Speaker 1: have a baby by her ex, so that when he
- 32:23Speaker 1: comes in to get his two year old, he can
- 32:25Speaker 1: get the new baby too. I told her that her
- 32:29Speaker 1: ex could artificially inseminate her instead of having sex. My
- 32:33Speaker 1: fiance says, I'm crazy for thinking this way. I was joking.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But if it makes her happy, she can really do it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Why would she get mad at me for offering her
- 32:40Speaker 1: a good solution? Hey, dog, are you for real? Man?
- 32:44Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? Yeah? You're gonna offer your girl
- 32:47Speaker 1: though as a freebee to her ex so when he
- 32:51Speaker 1: come get this one, he can pick the other one
- 32:53Speaker 1: up too. Bro, that ain't even funny. I don't know
- 32:59Speaker 1: how you thought it was a joke. I promise you
- 33:01Speaker 1: she wasn't laughing. So you know, bro, maybe why are you?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Why are you wanting to marry her? Yeah? I mean
- 33:10Speaker 1: that doesn't sound like you really love it. She says
- 33:12Speaker 1: she want one more child. She's only thirty five years old.
- 33:16Speaker 1: You know you don't want none. So now you're talking
- 33:19Speaker 1: about you had one with your ex? Man? That ain't really,
- 33:23Speaker 1: that's not really cool, bro to tell you the truth, man,
- 33:26Speaker 1: te you a little out of line with that one man.
- 33:28Speaker 1: You ought to apologize and take that off the table. Yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and he says, why would she get mad at me
- 33:33Speaker 1: for offering her a good solution because you offered her
- 33:37Speaker 1: up to her ex? Yeah, come on artificial exsemination or
- 33:41Speaker 1: any other way. Yeah, right, but he feels it's not sex,
- 33:45Speaker 1: so it's okay, yeah really yeah, okay, okay, Well let
- 33:50Speaker 1: me tell you something. You're gonna be with the baby
- 33:52Speaker 1: Wayne more than when he come to pick it up. Yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 1: So he's gonna be sitting them there looking just like
- 33:58Speaker 1: her ex. And I think that's what they should be
- 34:01Speaker 1: discussing the fact that he doesn't want children and the
- 34:04Speaker 1: fact that she does, because this is not a good
- 34:06Speaker 1: match right here, No, it is partner. Yeah, yeah, you
- 34:16Speaker 1: need to I'm not really cool though, bro T, that
- 34:19Speaker 1: ain't cool what you did. That's why she made Yeah
- 34:23Speaker 1: all right, Steve, thank you, clo. As always, you're listening.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's time now to play around of would you rather?
- 34:34Speaker 1: Would you rather? Guys? Would you rather star as James
- 34:37Speaker 1: Bond or Michael Carlyone Corleon James Bond or Michael Corleone,
- 34:45Speaker 1: Carlyon what how the godfather? Yo? Hot? Ain't nobody following? Ye?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Game and everybody gonna on my hand? Had all the
- 35:03Speaker 1: families you yes? Yeah, ye, like Junior said you could
- 35:09Speaker 1: be boss baby something like that, but you ain't gonna

- 35:20Speaker 1: head family of the Corleons. Yeah, nobody, James Bond, I
- 35:28Speaker 1: go because you know there's talk they might put a
- 35:30Speaker 1: brother in that row. Come on, reggae. No, I ain't
- 35:34Speaker 1: got bond what ain't got body? No more? I can't run,
- 35:39Speaker 1: I can't I would you be? I'm not going to
- 35:43Speaker 1: hang on the edge and a helicopter blade because that
- 35:47Speaker 1: opening scene is ten minutes. Man, this is how to go. No,
- 35:58Speaker 1: this is how to go. N Yeah, you can rock
- 36:03Speaker 1: that wardrobe on? Got on a double, get a stunt double,
- 36:08Speaker 1: Steve's double? What else? All right? You're done with that one?
- 36:16Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather all your text messages get leaked,
- 36:21Speaker 1: all your text messages get leaked, or all your photos
- 36:24Speaker 1: get leaked? Be oh god? So you want all your
- 36:28Speaker 1: pictures to get leaked, not your text messages? Yeah, I
- 36:31Speaker 1: ain't got no pictures. Yeah, yeah, oh okay, Junior, Yeah,
- 36:37Speaker 1: b I can't. I can't. I can't. I ain't gonna
- 36:41Speaker 1: see what I said to somebody. No, not the stuff
- 36:43Speaker 1: I've said. It cost you a career. Yeah, okay, you
- 36:51Speaker 1: open Tommy, I'm with him, a right one. All right.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Let's keep with the own theme here. Would you rather
- 37:01Speaker 1: your phone ringer make porn sound or belching sound? Belch?
- 37:08Speaker 1: What is pown sounds with the poem? Huh? What is
- 37:12Speaker 1: pown sounds? Yeah? Sounds Okay, phoning and groaning and all
- 37:20Speaker 1: you know, just oh ah, you know all that stuff
- 37:23Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, yeah, and that's coming from my phone.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah's your ringer, that's your ringer. Yeah. Would
- 37:32Speaker 1: you rather belching or porn sound? Belch? Loud as you
- 37:36Speaker 1: can all belch. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve.
- 37:46Speaker 1: We got an email from a listener. It says, my
- 37:50Speaker 1: friend is a chef. People always talk to him about cooking.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Even if he wants to talk about something besides food,
- 37:56Speaker 1: the conversation inevitably goes back to him being a great chef.
- 38:01Speaker 1: The email goes on to say, I have a friend
- 38:03Speaker 1: working for candidate running for office and every conversation in
- 38:07Speaker 1: which she protects inevitably turns into politics. So, Steve, what
- 38:12Speaker 1: does every conversation in your life turn into? I mean,
- 38:15Speaker 1: do people talk about what TV? Money, money and advice?
- 38:23Speaker 1: I mean success? And it's not that now. It's not
- 38:25Speaker 1: that they ask for money. They want to discuss, you know,
- 38:28Speaker 1: ideas for how to make more. I don't really mind that,
- 38:32Speaker 1: you know. I mean, it's like when you meet a chef,
- 38:35Speaker 1: you're gonna have questions because everybody loves inside information. A
- 38:39Speaker 1: guy in politics you want to get his opinion. You
- 38:42Speaker 1: meet a pro football player, you want to get information
- 38:45Speaker 1: about playing ball, other teams. High song. So, man, have
- 38:49Speaker 1: you ever faced and Rogers? That's just comment? So you know, man,
- 38:53Speaker 1: you know people, man, how was it? Man? You know?
- 38:57Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's like people see Marjorie all
- 38:59Speaker 1: the time. They're going, I bet he's just a hoop
- 39:01Speaker 1: to live with. I bet he just funny holiday time.
- 39:05Speaker 1: They think comedian. No, he's not funny at home at all. Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 1: they go. You just say, like, I'm just at the house,
- 39:12Speaker 1: just show never stopped. Yeah. Yeah, Like they always want
- 39:17Speaker 1: to ask tell me they have a strawberry letter for me.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I got a letter for you. What you're always talking
- 39:23Speaker 1: to you about? Tom prank, my mama, prank, my dad,
- 39:26Speaker 1: prank my uncle. When the people I meet who meet me.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Let me just split this up. I don't know where
- 39:35Speaker 1: Steve is. I don't know what he's doing. I'm not
- 39:41Speaker 1: with him. I don't know where the hell he is.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I don't talk to him that much. I just don't know.
- 39:50Speaker 1: And don't get me a damn thing to give him
- 39:54Speaker 1: that one. Oh, I'm not taking it. You're gonna be
- 39:58Speaker 1: with a bad Steve, Steve. I ain't telling Steve damn saying,
- 40:04Speaker 1: but how do you not take the stuff? Oh, you
- 40:07Speaker 1: know what I do? And I'm gonna admit this. I'm
- 40:10Speaker 1: gonna say it. Well, I'll take it. But I thought
- 40:12Speaker 1: it was I've watched him do it now. Yeah, I
- 40:18Speaker 1: don't want to hurt nobody feeling. Oh yeah, you know what.
- 40:21Speaker 1: You know what I don't like Jake. They roll up
- 40:23Speaker 1: on Tommy, got something just for you dog, just for
- 40:27Speaker 1: you whole type. Come back ten minute later. Here it is,
- 40:31Speaker 1: get this to Steve. I'm down. This is my book
- 40:37Speaker 1: and I know here like this book. Yeah, it's kind
- 40:40Speaker 1: of like his book, but not a fool like his book.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I heard Steve like Jimmy chot cake. I made one's
- 40:47Speaker 1: wrapped up up I made. I made two, one for
- 40:55Speaker 1: you and one for Steve. Right in the track the cake. Though.
- 41:02Speaker 1: We can't eat something somebody we don't know, hands right,
- 41:08Speaker 1: and we can't get it. We can't put it in
- 41:10Speaker 1: our purse. Don't give damn what you're feelings. Getting hurt,
- 41:16Speaker 1: but you're not gonna do it. Is poising me. Nobody
- 41:21Speaker 1: eats food from a total strange. They can't do It's
- 41:25Speaker 1: not even smart. Oh, that reminds me of that meme
- 41:29Speaker 1: where this person was washing chitlands in their tub, in
- 41:32Speaker 1: their bathtub at homes. Yes, that's why you can't take
- 41:36Speaker 1: food from strangers. You don't know what their habits are.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Bathtub chitlands. Yeah, I don't know how y'all ain't. Yeah,
- 41:46Speaker 1: it's a kind of no. Yeah, in the bathtub. I
- 41:53Speaker 1: put them in the bathtub. I'm no eat no chilings
- 41:59Speaker 1: out your bath right right right man? Yeah, right after
- 42:05Speaker 1: they get out, Right after they get up, I'm gonna
- 42:10Speaker 1: get right back in. No. No, how about this, Hey,
- 42:14Speaker 1: save that water because that got cleaned. He don't don't
- 42:21Speaker 1: dream that that's ridiculous house. Again, you're listening to show
- 42:40Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 42:43Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's today's Strawberry letter. The subject she
- 42:46Speaker 1: needs to get her kids. Okay, she needs to get
- 42:50Speaker 1: her kids. It's a subject of my strawberry letter for today.

- 49:43Speaker 1: more thing? Ask you, man, what is what is the
- 49:46Speaker 1: baddest And I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 49:48Speaker 1: the land, Steve Harby Morning Show playing Man, I listen

- 50:01Speaker 1: I mean, but you you you started the whole prank

- 50:08Speaker 1: Know what to come? Mister Crusts. What's wrong I talk?
- 50:19Speaker 1: I'll be so aggravated. Man, what did you cry? It
- 50:25Speaker 1: started in the middle. Baby already on a hike. We
- 50:27Speaker 1: don't know what's happening. What's going on? What this phone
- 50:29Speaker 1: called about? Let's get to it. That's my brother's favorite line.
- 50:34Speaker 1: But what is you crying? You cannot go around my
- 50:40Speaker 1: brother start crying because the I don't care what it's about.

- 51:42Speaker 1: you bog a lot, Hold on tight, We got it
- 51:44Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew,
- 51:47Speaker 1: subject she needs to get her kids. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I'm a fifty year old with three children and I've
- 51:54Speaker 1: been married for fourteen years. All of the children are
- 51:58Speaker 1: grown and are on their own, so my husband and
- 52:01Speaker 1: I have the house to ourselves. I love my alone
- 52:04Speaker 1: time with my husband, but his sister is causing some
- 52:07Speaker 1: big problems in our marriage. His sister gets on my
- 52:11Speaker 1: last nerve. She is an unstable mother and she drops
- 52:15Speaker 1: her kids off at my house with no warning. I
- 52:18Speaker 1: am tired of dealing with her kids. One day recently,
- 52:22Speaker 1: I was walking into my living room and I saw
- 52:24Speaker 1: her letting her kids out of the car and she
- 52:27Speaker 1: drove off. My husband was at work, so I ended
- 52:30Speaker 1: up keeping the kids, which meant feeding them. I called
- 52:33Speaker 1: my mother in law and told her to come get
- 52:35Speaker 1: the kids. My mother in law is sick of the
- 52:38Speaker 1: kids too. There have been many times when she has
- 52:41Speaker 1: asked me to keep the kids for a few hours,
- 52:43Speaker 1: then will return at three am to pick them up.
- 52:46Speaker 1: She just sits in the driveway and blows her horn
- 52:49Speaker 1: or shines her light on bright through my front windows.
- 52:53Speaker 1: She also has my husband doing crazy stuff like changing
- 52:57Speaker 1: her locks at night because she broke up with a
- 52:59Speaker 1: boyfriend and didn't want him to be able to get
- 53:02Speaker 1: into her house. Stephen Shirley. She is thirty eight years
- 53:05Speaker 1: old and the family keeps enabling her. I am not
- 53:09Speaker 1: going to keep this up, and I told my husband
- 53:12Speaker 1: that enough is enough. I am at war with my
- 53:15Speaker 1: husband over her because it's his only sister. I hope
- 53:18Speaker 1: and pray I'm not being unreasonable by telling him to
- 53:21Speaker 1: choose between me and his sister. I got so angry
- 53:23Speaker 1: over his sister and her kids, and I told my
- 53:25Speaker 1: husband to go move in with her. I am not
- 53:28Speaker 1: a daycare, and I want to set boundaries with this woman.
- 53:31Speaker 1: How should I handle this this? Well, you're you're up
- 53:34Speaker 1: to a good start with setting boundaries with her, with
- 53:36Speaker 1: letting her know that you're not a daycare, with getting
- 53:40Speaker 1: angry with your husband. You're you're right about the family
- 53:44Speaker 1: enabling her. She's been allowed to do this for so
- 53:47Speaker 1: long she thinks that it's okay to do this, and
- 53:50Speaker 1: you're so right. I mean, everything you're saying your sister
- 53:53Speaker 1: in law is dead wrong and because of it, her children, herselves,
- 53:58Speaker 1: they're suffering because of this, going from house to house,
- 54:01Speaker 1: your house to the grandmother's house, and no telling who
- 54:04Speaker 1: else you know that she does this too, just dropping
- 54:07Speaker 1: them off at random houses with random people. This is ridiculous.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I mean, she's rude, she's entitled, she needs to be checked.
- 54:14Speaker 1: So you're definitely on the right path. You need to
- 54:17Speaker 1: learn to say no. That's what happens when you set boundaries.
- 54:21Speaker 1: You gotta tell her no, all right, even if she
- 54:24Speaker 1: does drop the kids off, get right back in your
- 54:26Speaker 1: car and you know, follow her or drop them off
- 54:31Speaker 1: at her house. Whatever. But you don't want this responsibility,
- 54:34Speaker 1: and it's not the kid's fault. I'm sure you know.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I feel so sorry for these children, and badly for
- 54:39Speaker 1: the kids because if she is unstable like you say
- 54:44Speaker 1: she is, and she sounds like it, that they have to,
- 54:46Speaker 1: you know, have a mother like this. This is terrible,
- 54:49Speaker 1: But again you're gonna have to learn how to say
- 54:52Speaker 1: no and need it. And one of the thing your
- 54:54Speaker 1: husband is going to have to get on board and
- 54:58Speaker 1: support you, not her. You are his wife, she's not
- 55:01Speaker 1: his wife. Those are not his kids, they're your relatives.
- 55:05Speaker 1: But she needs to deal with her own responsibilities. Steve,
- 55:09Speaker 1: you know, I was trying to find the humor in
- 55:12Speaker 1: this letter, but I couldn't. Yeah, because I know trifling
- 55:18Speaker 1: ass people and this. You've been married to your man
- 55:23Speaker 1: fourteen years. Y'all got three children, and all the children
- 55:27Speaker 1: have grown so they out on their own. Y'all got
- 55:30Speaker 1: the house to yourself. So you thought you love your
- 55:34Speaker 1: lone time with your husband, but you ain't got it
- 55:37Speaker 1: no more. But his damned sister, thirty eight years old,
- 55:42Speaker 1: unstable mother, she dropped. Now, you didn't say how many kids?
- 55:47Speaker 1: Did she say how many kids? She just says kids.
- 55:51Speaker 1: But the woman writing the letter has three children of
- 55:53Speaker 1: her own, so we know at least two of these
- 55:56Speaker 1: kids is getting dropped off. She dropped her kids off
- 56:01Speaker 1: at my house with no warning. No, I'm tired of
- 56:06Speaker 1: dealing with her kids. Well, you're really tired of dealing
- 56:10Speaker 1: with the kids like this way. You know. One day
- 56:14Speaker 1: recently you walked into your living room and you saw
- 56:16Speaker 1: her letting her kids out the car, and she drove
- 56:19Speaker 1: off your husband at work. Hitty, damn kids come. Now.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I feel sorry for the kids, like Sureley say, because
- 56:26Speaker 1: they got to walk up on the horse on the
- 56:27Speaker 1: porch and they know this health a post at least
- 56:30Speaker 1: knock on the door, tell them we're coming. But the
- 56:34Speaker 1: kids got to go in the house. They don't know
- 56:36Speaker 1: what else to do. I don't know what to tell you, man,
- 56:40Speaker 1: There is no humor in this letter. So let me
- 56:42Speaker 1: just quit trying to look forward. This thing that got
- 56:45Speaker 1: on your lad's nerve. And I ain't mad at you.
- 56:48Speaker 1: So your husband's at work, she drops them off. You
- 56:50Speaker 1: ended up keeping the kids. Now, you got to feed
- 56:53Speaker 1: them because you're decent person. Then you called your mother
- 56:57Speaker 1: in law and you told her to come get the kids.
- 57:00Speaker 1: The mother lost sick of the kids too. Damn. Now
- 57:03Speaker 1: I feel really bad for these kids because they get
- 57:06Speaker 1: shoveled off from house to house and they knowing everybody
- 57:10Speaker 1: mad when they see them. But the kids ain't doing nothing.
- 57:13Speaker 1: They just to result of having a trifling mama. And
- 57:17Speaker 1: I feel bad for these kids. Man's dad, what dad?
- 57:25Speaker 1: She never mentioned that now she she got a boyfriend
- 57:30Speaker 1: that you know, the husband had to change the locks
- 57:33Speaker 1: at her house because her boyfriend and the hood was
- 57:36Speaker 1: breaking up. You gotta change locks because he coming in.
- 57:42Speaker 1: That's been many times when she asked. She has asked
- 57:46Speaker 1: me to keep the kids for a few hours and
- 57:48Speaker 1: then we'll return at three am to pick them up.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Who wakes the babies up in the middle of the
- 57:53Speaker 1: damn night? Right? She trifling on a whole lot of levels.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I think I got something that for you, I guess.
- 58:02Speaker 1: All right, Well, hold on, hold on for part two,
- 58:05Speaker 1: Steve Um. We'll have part two of your response coming
- 58:09Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour. Today's subject she
- 58:11Speaker 1: needs to get her kids. We'll be back right after this.
- 58:15Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Let's go. Let's recap today's
- 58:20Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject she needs to get her kids. Lady
- 58:25Speaker 1: fifty years old got three kids, they grown, they moved
- 58:27Speaker 1: out the house. Her and her husband got the house
- 58:29Speaker 1: all today's self. She loves her lone time with her man.
- 58:34Speaker 1: She only got one problem, her man's system. Unstable. Mother
- 58:39Speaker 1: drops the kids off without any warning, just drops them off.
- 58:46Speaker 1: She tired of this. One day she was walking in
- 58:48Speaker 1: the living room and saw her pull up and just
- 58:50Speaker 1: let the kids out and then drove off. I'll be Dan.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Now you gotta be kind to the kids, because it
- 58:57Speaker 1: ain't the kids fault. But now you gotta take him.
- 58:59Speaker 1: You gotta feed him. You just gonna sit down and
- 59:01Speaker 1: just watch TV with your feet off. Now you're feeding kids.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Then you can't count the time she come by and
- 59:07Speaker 1: tell you watching kids for a few hours and then
- 59:10Speaker 1: return at three am in the morning and pick them up.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Now hit the trifling part. This is how trifling this
- 59:15Speaker 1: health is. She comes and just sits in the driveway
- 59:20Speaker 1: and blows her horn or shines her lights on bright
- 59:24Speaker 1: through my front windows. Boy, crazy boy, if that ain't ignorant,
- 59:32Speaker 1: you tell me. But if you want to really keep
- 59:37Speaker 1: your funking, here we go. I got something for you.
- 59:39Speaker 1: At the end. Though she also has my husband doing
- 59:44Speaker 1: crazy stuff like changing her locks at night because she
- 59:47Speaker 1: broke up with her boyfriend didn't want him be able
- 59:50Speaker 1: to get into her house. Stephen Sherley, She's thirty eight
- 59:54Speaker 1: years old. The family keeps enabling her. I ain't gonna
- 59:58Speaker 1: keep up with this. I told my husband that enough
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: is enough. I'm at war with my husband over her
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because it's his only sister. I understand that. I hope
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and pray I'm not being unreasonable. You're not by telling
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: them to choose between me and his sister. Okay, that Nah,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: that went a little far, but I understand because you're mad.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I got so angry over his sister and her kids
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: that I told my husband to go move in with him. Well,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: since he liked taking care of the kids so much,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you know, I think it's a good idea. Since he
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: likes taking care of kids that much, then it's a
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: good idea that he just moves on end with him.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: That's what I think. But I told my husband, and
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I'm not at daycare and I want to set boundaries
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: for this woman. How sit I handle this? Well? I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: didn't read this latter. Bines nice, Here's the only solution
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I got. Every you tell her this. What has to happen.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Every time she dropped him key kids off on your ass.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: You are to go by her house and get on
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her ass. What does that mean, Steve? Break it down.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: If she dropped the kids off on your ass, you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: ought to go over there and be on her. What
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you got whoop o ass? One time? Line? Yeah? I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: think she really just got to whoop ourr ass one time.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I think we're down to that. She trifling. Some people
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: need a good slapping and sit her down and tell her,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you know what, you are really abusive to your children,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and you are to be ashamed of yourself, and you
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: really these kids deserve better. You put them in uncompromising positions,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: passing them off like they potato chips. These kids know
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: that they're being drug around and passed off. They know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: their mama unstable and they nobody told you. But you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: are trifling ass mama, and you need to get your
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: sugar honey iced tea together. I slapped the sugar hunted
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: iced tea good, Paul, good pause. I think that's what
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: has to happen, because if the families in there, he's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: a name because it's his only system, so he trying
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to help out. It's his baby system. I know that
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: parameter has got to be pulling on it. Yeah, the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: mother is already sick of so y'all got to do something, man,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: y'all cats can't keep doing it like this, right, she
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: needs to shooping her hands and all. I see, that's
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: all I mean. Really, I just don't man. This ain't
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: about no therapy or nothing. She needs somebody to get
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: her undivided damn attention. Yeah, and nothing gets your attention
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: like a handful got immediately everyone. I have got it
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: all from my mama, from some dudes, every last one
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: of them. Yes, that's what I think you should do.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: And just remind her every time you dropped him off
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: on my ass, I'm gonna be back over here on
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: your ass. Yeah, so what were you doing around? Were
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: exchanging asses? We exchange as, but the whole up though.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: She brings the kids unannounced, so the husband he like, wow,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he called off? God too late too, and you got
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: the call before you bring these kids over and ask
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: make sure we ain't got nothing to do. I'm sorry,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I just be thinking. And then she do it again.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: She did. You had already said. She just pull up
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and let him out and drive off this chick knows
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: she trifling and she doing it on purpose. It's I
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: don't know. It's a lot to do because dude, she
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: dropped him off while he was at work. Yeah, oh
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you you shouldn't have been in the window. She saw you.

- 1:04:43Speaker 1: of the house, lies women tell to get out of
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the house. Uh huh. And lastly, stuff white people say

- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I really want my I really want my lips to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: look like yours. Really. Oh my gosh, Piggie wasn't small
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: at all. White people say the black people that they
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: think is really I don't really mean to be out
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: of line, but could I just touch your ass just
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: to let me ask you something. I don't really know
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you guys that will, But do you all have chicken farms? Hey, dude, listen,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: if you ever really want it, you know I can
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: teach you how to swim. Say the black people that
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: they think, Yeah, I'll tell you this first lady doesn't
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: compare to yours. I know that was a deep one. Yeah,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: so let me get this right. You went to college,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: but not on a basketball scholarship. All right, Steve, who's
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: the daddy? Yeah, I'll just tell you. I'm perfectly fine
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: with another African American president. Yeah, I have a problem

- 1:07:30Speaker 1: You're listening to show Steve Jay is here with things
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: that have a cutoff age. Jay explain, well, well, well
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Steve actually has it. The things Shelly and everybody. There's
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a cutoff age to everything, to everything you do. Some
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: people some people just ignore it and just keep doing it.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But front of them, like, come on, this should have
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: cut off point. The name name. If you over, we
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: don't need to look out there and see you doing
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: the name name, the whip or the name name and
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you farty really thirty five? Thirty three? Yeah, thirty three
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: you asked stop doing the whip and the name name.

- 1:09:28Speaker 1: bit of muff you can't do it. I don't mind
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a little muffin on the woman, but on the man. Man, dude, dude.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: If you over twenty five, you got to stop using
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: the word lit. You over twenty five, Yes, Sherley, you

- 1:10:13Speaker 1: You need to come on out, come on. If you

- 1:10:24Speaker 1: legs crossed and you can pull yourself along in the stroller,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: the ass needs to be walking. Something for the baby
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: is one. If you're over eighty with a walker and
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: it's got to come, hold a fanny pat or place
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the holy newspaper tennis balls for grip. Damn it, you
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: gotta take something off. It's too much. If you over
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: farty and people are still considering you ratchet, you're not ratchet.

- 1:11:43Speaker 1: What about the set you a nugget set his one

- 1:15:16Speaker 1: would you be I'm not going to hang on the

- 1:17:00Speaker 1: and that's coming from my phone. Yeah yeah, yeah, rather
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: belching or pouring something, belch loud as you can be.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: All right, Thank you guys. Coming up next it is
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Steve with today's closing remarks. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: to last break of the day. We've had a great
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: morning today, Yes, yes we did. We have fun today. Steve.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: It's time for you now to take us home with
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: your closing remarks. What you got for us Today's Steve Today. Um,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I was thinking of something that's another jewel that has
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: really helped me in my quest and it's about my
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: dreams and my goals, and I was wanted to share
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: this with you today. One of the greatest dangers, uh,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: for most of us is not that our aim is
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: too high and we miss it, but that is too
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: low and we reach it. Can I say that to
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you again? This is actually a quote from Michael Angelo.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: He said, the greatest danger for most of us is
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: not that our aim is too high and we miss it,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: but that is too low and we reach it. That's crazy, man.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: My father used to say something to me all the time,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: very similar. He says, son aim for the moon because
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: if you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. And
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: that's pretty much the same thing that he's saying that
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the greatest danger for most of us. It's not that
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: our aim is too high and we miss it, but
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: that is too low and we reach it. Let me
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: explain something to you about low aspirations and low goals.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: When you reach a low aspiration and a low goal
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and there's nothing after that, you think you've arrived, You
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: think you that you actually get comfortable. Man, I made it,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: when in essence, there's so much more to life to live,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: so much more that you could accomplish if you would
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: just reset your goals in aspiration. I remember, Man, a
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: long time ago, this dude in my high school. He said, Man, all,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I want I know two dudes like this about a car?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: He said, Man, all, I won't. Man, it's this grand Toreno. Man.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: If I had a Grand Torino, Man, I wouldn't want
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: nothing else for his senior graduation. This dude's father gave
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: him a Grand Toreno. Was like unbelievable in high school, Man,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: nineteen seventy four, Grand Toreno with the two windows and
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the slits in the back. I was looking at this
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: like wow. Man, he drove it to the prom to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: still had a brand new Car's father bought it. I
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: saw him like twenty years later. You know, he had
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: the same car. He had the same car. It happened
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: to another dude. I knew, man that wanted this Cadillac. Man,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: if I ever get this Cadillac, Man, this white Cadillac,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: these red seats, Man, he got it. I saw him
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: years later, years later, I don't really remember how many,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: but he still had the same car. Always beat to hell,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: but he had the same car because that was his
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: aspiration and he reached it. But when he reached it,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: he got comfortable. I got it, and he quit wanting more.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: He quit reaching for higher things. You have to reassess
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: your life constantly, man, because you are going to continue
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: to live. You have to aspire to something that requires
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: God's help. Quit wanting and reaching for stuff that you
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: can do. Why would you say to yourself, man, if
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I could just get me a used car, if I
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: could get me a nineteen eighty five maximum, really, really
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: get your money, save your money and go on and
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: get it. But if that's your only goal and you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: get it, where you go from now. You are never
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: too old to keep reaching your goal. One more time.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: You are never too old to keep reaching your goal.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: It's goals out there, it's things that you can achieve.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Get out of your comfort zone. Man, if you try
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to survive in your comfort zone, your comfort zone, you
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: will fail in it. Everybody fails in the comfort zone
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: because in order to be successful, you got to get uncomfortable.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: You got to get You gotta do somethings. You got
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: to go when you don't want to go. You gotta
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: do when you don't want to do. That's what discipline is.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: It requires discipline to achieve great things. It requires discipline
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to reach your goals. Because discipline is simply doing everything
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: you have to do and need to do, even if
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: you don't want to. That's what discipline is. It's doing
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: the things that you have to do and need to
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: do even when you don't want to. You go do
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: it anyway. That's what discipline is. That's how you achieve goals,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: that's how you reach higher heights. Aim for the moon
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: because if you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: But it's real simple, man, It's just like Michelangelo said,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the greatest danger for most of us. Is not that
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: our aim is too high and we miss it, but
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: that is too low and we reach it because it's
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: danger man, when you ain't got nothing after that, because
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you get to settling and you get to thinking you there,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: when you ain't there, You got so much more life
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: to live. God has so much more for you. God
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: comes to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: God ain't no mediocre God. God don't do mediocre things.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: God do great things. God performs miracles. God makes dreams
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: come true. God is in the blessing business, the healing business,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: the saving business, the recovery business, to get your life
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: together business. Why don't you let him do that for you?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Aim high? God may take you some places you've never been.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Y'all have a great weekend
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: right now, BT expressed. Do it, do it until you're satisfied.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Come on and do it. Good putting riding for all.
