Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Two Children Killed, Seventeen Injured in Attack on Minneapolis Church by Radical Gunman
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We have to start with the tragic news.
- 0:04Speaker 2: A Minnesota church school shooting has happened yet again, and
- 0:09Speaker 2: yet again, the suspect was a transgendered person.
- 0:12Speaker 1: The suspect identified as.
- 0:14Speaker 2: A female and changed the name at seventeen years old.
- 0:19Speaker 2: A senior administration official has now confirmed that the alleged
- 0:22Speaker 2: shooter at the Minneapolis Catholic school changed from a male
- 0:27Speaker 2: name to a female name at seventeen years of age
- 0:30Speaker 2: and now identified as a female. A document post on
- 0:34Speaker 2: social media, confirmed as authentic by the officials, said they
- 0:38Speaker 2: described the name change occurring in twenty twenty, when the
- 0:41Speaker 2: alleged shooter was a minor and required parental sign off
- 0:45Speaker 2: on the change. Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor reported that
- 0:50Speaker 2: his mother signed off on the name change from Robert
- 0:52Speaker 2: to Robin. It has also been reported that police indicated
- 0:57Speaker 2: the alleged shooter used a pistol, a rifle and going
- 1:00Speaker 2: to carry out the attack on the school Wednesday morning.
- 1:03Speaker 1: From outside the church.
- 1:05Speaker 2: He shot through windows, striking children as they sat in
- 1:08Speaker 2: pews during mass. Two children were killed and seventeen other
- 1:12Speaker 2: individuals were wounded. We hope that those numbers do not change,
- 1:16Speaker 2: but they could by the time you hear this. The
- 1:19Speaker 2: shooter then took his own life. We also know that
- 1:24Speaker 2: this is a trend. You had a transgender identifying woman
- 1:28Speaker 2: that shot and killed six innocent children at a Nashville
- 1:32Speaker 2: Christian school back on March to twenty seventh of twenty
- 1:36Speaker 2: twenty three. She had originally planned to shoot up another school,
- 1:40Speaker 2: but didn't why she abandoned the plan to avoid looking racist,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and there was another school that had quote too much security.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Now there's more on this when it comes to transgender issue.
- 1:53Speaker 2: We're going to talk about this in a moment. But
- 1:54Speaker 2: there's a bigger part of the story that you need
- 1:56Speaker 2: to know about right now, and it is a part
- 1:59Speaker 2: of the star story that will not be covered by
- 2:01Speaker 2: the media. I want to take you back to two
- 2:05Speaker 2: years ago. Two years before the shooter opened fire on
- 2:09Speaker 2: the students attending daily mass in Minneapolis, the leaders of
- 2:15Speaker 2: independent Catholic schools in Minnesota begged the governor former VP
- 2:21Speaker 2: candidate Tim Waltz for help securing their schools. The funding
- 2:27Speaker 2: by Tim was never authorized. Where was funding going taxpayer
- 2:32Speaker 2: dollars to illegal immigrants? It was going to massive amounts
- 2:37Speaker 2: of government aid to illegal immigrants. In his community, but
- 2:42Speaker 2: protecting the kids, no, that was something he would not do.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Their letter asked Waltz for help to secure nonprofit, non
- 2:53Speaker 2: public and religious schools. It came one week after a
- 2:58Speaker 2: trans identifying shooter killed three children and three adults in
- 3:03Speaker 2: Nashville at the Covenant Christian School. So there was a
- 3:07Speaker 2: reason why they were asking for the money, they said,
- 3:10Speaker 2: after seeing that they knew they were vulnerable and they
- 3:13Speaker 2: needed help from the governor. Meanwhile, in April of twenty
- 3:18Speaker 2: twenty three, and again, I hope all this information I'm
- 3:21Speaker 2: giving you you will share wherever you can on social
- 3:24Speaker 2: media because the media is going to whitewash this and
- 3:27Speaker 2: act like none of this ever happened. In April of
- 3:30Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, the same month the letter was sent,
- 3:34Speaker 2: walt signed legislation establishing Minnesota as a quote trans refuge
- 3:41Speaker 2: quote unquote, promising to protect those seeking gender affirming care
- 3:47Speaker 2: that according to Outfront Minnesota and the news reports, we
- 3:51Speaker 2: now know that the shooter, Robin Slash Robert Westman, is
- 3:55Speaker 2: a trans identifying man. The reports now state who identified
- 4:00Speaker 2: as a woman and legally changed his name in Minnesota
- 4:03Speaker 2: with his mother's sign off, which brings us back to
- 4:06Speaker 2: the other basic point. Over and over again, we are
- 4:11Speaker 2: seeing trans individuals who have gone through some sort of transition,
- 4:17Speaker 2: who are being supported by their families, who still are
- 4:21Speaker 2: dealing with major mental health issues. And as long as
- 4:25Speaker 2: we keep acting like it is not a mental health issue,
- 4:30Speaker 2: this is going to continue to happen. It is absolutely
- 4:34Speaker 2: and utterly insane for us to sit here and advocate
- 4:39Speaker 2: and support people who believe that they are trapped in
- 4:42Speaker 2: another sex body than what they are, to normalize it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It is a mental health issue.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And I'm not saying that in a mean, disparaging or
- 4:52Speaker 2: angry way. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who believes
- 4:57Speaker 2: that they are trapped in another person's ba, another sex
- 5:01Speaker 2: or the wrong sex and what they are. But let
- 5:03Speaker 2: me also say this very clearly, there is a real
- 5:07Speaker 2: threat to all of our kids now because we have
- 5:11Speaker 2: at least part of the country has tried to normalize
- 5:15Speaker 2: mental health issues and acting like there is nothing wrong
- 5:19Speaker 2: when someone says they're trapped and the wrong sexual body,
- 5:23Speaker 2: the wrong sex. And the longer that we continue down
- 5:27Speaker 2: this road, the longer we act like this as normal,
- 5:30Speaker 2: when everyone knows that it is not normal, we are
- 5:34Speaker 2: going to continue to see these types of things happen.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I want you to think about the place you have
- 5:40Speaker 2: to be in to be this young and to want
- 5:43Speaker 2: to go kill innocent children, shooting them while they're at
- 5:46Speaker 2: mass I want you to think about how radical and
- 5:49Speaker 2: extreme you have to be in your head to then
- 5:51Speaker 2: kill yourself, to turn the gun on yourself. This is
- 5:55Speaker 2: a mental health issue, and the problem now is the
- 5:59Speaker 2: radical left is try to normalize it instead of giving
- 6:03Speaker 2: people the help that they need. Instead, they're saying no, no,
- 6:07Speaker 2: let's encourage and advocate and support an individual who's clearly
- 6:12Speaker 2: dealing with a major mental health issue.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And that is the problem.
- 6:17Speaker 2: This is exactly why we must as a nation stand
- 6:21Speaker 2: up to this and say no, we are not going
- 6:23Speaker 2: to normalize it, and we're not going to act like
- 6:27Speaker 2: you're a bad person if you say what I'm saying
- 6:29Speaker 2: right now. We need to call it out because we
- 6:33Speaker 2: are not doing anybody any favors and we're not actually
- 6:37Speaker 2: helping people when we try to normalize a real mental
- 6:41Speaker 2: health condition. Finally, let me also say this, this is
- 6:46Speaker 2: why the President of the United States of America I'm proud
- 6:48Speaker 2: of for leading on protecting women's sports he is not
- 6:52Speaker 2: normalizing a dude acting like a chick in women's sports.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Women's sports should be for women. Men sports should be
- 7:00Speaker 2: for men. And if you want to start a messed
- 7:03Speaker 2: up trans league, I mean it when I say this,
- 7:06Speaker 2: knock yourself out, do it, but do not open up
- 7:10Speaker 2: sports to the opposite sex and act like that is fair.
- 7:15Speaker 2: The radical left, unfortunately, has lost their mind. They're not
- 7:18Speaker 2: defending women's sports. They are not doing what they need
- 7:23Speaker 2: to do to protect women, and the President is doing
- 7:26Speaker 2: it through legislation as well. And all of us should
- 7:30Speaker 2: be advocating and supporting women and protecting women, protecting them
- 7:35Speaker 2: in the locker rooms, protecting them in sports, protecting them
- 7:38Speaker 2: when it comes to scholarships, protecting it when it comes
- 7:42Speaker 2: to going to the Olympics. And this is another example
- 7:46Speaker 2: of the culture war we are in right now in
- 7:49Speaker 2: this country. There are sane people like you and I
- 7:53Speaker 2: that believe that this is insanity, and the media and
- 7:57Speaker 2: the radical left have been pushing this other narrative, this
- 8:01Speaker 2: totally insane narrative, for far too long, and all of us,
- 8:06Speaker 2: I believe, have an obligation and a duty to refuse
- 8:10Speaker 2: to accept this is some sort of great idea. Now
- 8:15Speaker 2: let me also say this, what I just told you
- 8:18Speaker 2: is not being talked about anywhere. I really want you
- 8:21Speaker 2: to take the podcast and I want you to share
- 8:23Speaker 2: it wherever you.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Can on social media.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Please share it because this is important that people know
- 8:29Speaker 2: the real story. Share it because they need to know
- 8:31Speaker 2: what Tim Waltz did not do to protect children even
- 8:34Speaker 2: after they were asked for protection. Putting illegal immigrants ahead
- 8:39Speaker 2: of children in school that need a protection and not
- 8:42Speaker 2: protect them, probably because they're in a religious institution. This
- 8:45Speaker 2: is something everyone needs to know, so makes you share
- 8:49Speaker 2: this wherever you can around the country. Take a quick break,
- 8:53Speaker 2: we'll come back. It's the Ben Ferguson Show, plus more
- 8:56Speaker 2: of your phone calls. There is one thing we are
- 8:59Speaker 2: getting from the Trump administration when it comes to the
- 9:02Speaker 2: shooting in Minneapolis.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It is clarity.
- 9:04Speaker 2: The FBI Director Caspittel saying the shooting is now being
- 9:08Speaker 2: investigated as a hate crime targeting Catholics. This is something
- 9:14Speaker 2: we did not get from the prior administration. The FBI
- 9:18Speaker 2: director used a post on x to make it clear
- 9:22Speaker 2: that the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting will be investigated as
- 9:25Speaker 2: a hate crime, specifically targeting Catholics. It was reported that
- 9:31Speaker 2: the alleged shooter changed his name from Robert to Robin
- 9:34Speaker 2: at seventeen years of age. Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor
- 9:39Speaker 2: reported that his mother signed off on the suspected shooter's
- 9:42Speaker 2: name changed from Robert to Robin. Yet again, another transgendered
- 9:46Speaker 2: individual shooting up a school. Police indicated the alleged shooter
- 9:51Speaker 2: used a pistol, a rifle, and a shotgun to carry
- 9:54Speaker 2: out his attack on the church Wednesday morning. From inside
- 9:58Speaker 2: the church, he shot through windows, striking children as they
- 10:01Speaker 2: sat in the pews during mass. As you know at
- 10:04Speaker 2: this point when I am recording this, two children have
- 10:07Speaker 2: been killed. Seventeen other individuals have been wounded. Patel putting
- 10:13Speaker 2: it on x saying updates on the shooting in Minneapolis.
- 10:16Speaker 2: The FBI is investigating. The shooting is an active domestic
- 10:19Speaker 2: terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. There are two fatalities,
- 10:24Speaker 2: an eight year old and a ten year old, in
- 10:26Speaker 2: addition to fourteen children and three adults that were injured.
- 10:31Speaker 2: He went on to say after that quote, the shooter
- 10:35Speaker 2: has been identified is Robin Westman, a male born as
- 10:40Speaker 2: Robert Westman. The FBI will continue to provide updates on
- 10:44Speaker 2: our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Now even CNN is having to admit that this was
- 10:52Speaker 2: a radical Here is more of what they said about
- 10:56Speaker 2: the shooter.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Breaking news, admiration from ash, hatred of multiple groups, no
- 11:02Speaker 3: sympathy for any victim. It is just some of what
- 11:05Speaker 3: the shooter in today's Catholic school massacre which he murdered
- 11:08Speaker 3: two children, reveals and videos posted online. Videos that police
- 11:14Speaker 3: are scouring through right now for clues and answers about
- 11:16Speaker 3: the shooter, who has been identified as a twenty three
- 11:19Speaker 3: year old named Robin Westsman. Brian Todd has the latest
- 11:22Speaker 3: on what we know about the shooter.
- 11:26Speaker 4: The coward that shot these victims took his own life
- 11:29Speaker 4: in the rear of the church. That coward has been
- 11:33Speaker 4: identified as twenty three year old Robin Westman.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Westman seems to have left a series of online videos
- 11:39Speaker 5: which describe an obsession with school shootings and even named
- 11:43Speaker 5: other mass shooters, such as the twenty twelve Sandy Hook gunman,
- 11:47Speaker 5: the Columbine gunman, and the man who attacked the Tree
- 11:49Speaker 5: of Life synagogue in twenty eighteen.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Here's my note to my family.
- 11:57Speaker 5: The video also shows written statements and several guns painted
- 12:00Speaker 5: with slurs. In another clip, the speaker simply reads aloud
- 12:04Speaker 5: from a closed dryer, manual.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Dryer safety, Your safety and the safety of others are
- 12:10Speaker 3: very important.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Police say they also found a litany of writings.
- 12:13Speaker 4: We're also aware of a manifesto that the shooter had
- 12:17Speaker 4: time to be released on YouTube. This manifesto appeared to
- 12:22Speaker 4: show him at the scene and included some disturbing writings.
- 12:27Speaker 4: That content has since been taken down with the assistance
- 12:30Speaker 4: of the FBI, and it now remains under active review
- 12:34Speaker 4: by our investigators.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Apparently part of the plan that the shooter seemed to
- 12:37Speaker 5: illustrate in those same videos on YouTube a photo of
- 12:40Speaker 5: a slab of wood. An actual slab of wood was
- 12:44Speaker 5: found at the scene, blocking a door from the outside.
- 12:47Speaker 6: The exit.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Pop it through the hands.
- 12:53Speaker 5: According to social media posts, the shooter's mother worked at
- 12:56Speaker 5: the school from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty one, and
- 12:59Speaker 5: the sho shooter graduated from the school in twenty seventeen.
- 13:03Speaker 5: The shooter, now known as twenty three year old Robin Westman,
- 13:06Speaker 5: identified as a female and changed their name legally to
- 13:09Speaker 5: Robin from Robert in twenty twenty. The agency is investigating
- 13:13Speaker 5: this as an act of domestic terrorism and as a
- 13:16Speaker 5: hate crime targeting Catholics. Police Chief Brian O'Haras says officials
- 13:20Speaker 5: there have not yet established enough of a motive to
- 13:23Speaker 5: charge it or to investigate it yet as a hate crime.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Aaron, that is the part that's the most shocking. You
- 13:30Speaker 2: now have two very different narratives. You have clearly leadership
- 13:34Speaker 2: and cashpiteal in the Trump administration calling this what it is,
- 13:38Speaker 2: and then you have local liberal police who are saying, no,
- 13:43Speaker 2: we don't have enough to actually look.
- 13:45Speaker 1: At this as a hate crime.
- 13:47Speaker 8: Yet.
- 13:48Speaker 2: The question I would ask is when will you have enough?
- 13:52Speaker 2: As The Minneapolis police chief describing the attack on the
- 13:57Speaker 2: mass as quote evil, noting that the worship's service was
- 14:00Speaker 2: marking the first week of school for children that are
- 14:03Speaker 2: attending the Catholic school. He described the shooting as a
- 14:07Speaker 2: deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other people worshiping,
- 14:11Speaker 2: but won't call it a hate crime yet. If you
- 14:15Speaker 2: want to know what's wrong in this country, this is
- 14:18Speaker 2: a perfect example of it. Democrats, even when evil is
- 14:22Speaker 2: steering them in the face, will refuse time and time
- 14:25Speaker 2: again to call it exactly that. If there's one thing
- 14:29Speaker 2: that is happening right now, it is that Democrats are
- 14:32Speaker 2: using this to push for gun control. Amy Klobuchar said,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I have long supported assault weapons ban, even before she
- 14:40Speaker 2: knows what guns were even used. Many others are also
- 14:45Speaker 2: saying the same thing. Former White House pressing or Tarry
- 14:47Speaker 2: Jensaki breaking down in tears on MSNBC, and then the
- 14:52Speaker 2: Minnesota mayor are saying, why is it that you can
- 14:55Speaker 2: buy a gun virtually every month? If you wanted to
- 15:00Speaker 2: again blaming the gun instead of the transgendered person who
- 15:04Speaker 2: they decided to say that their mental health issues were
- 15:08Speaker 2: normal and decided that, you know, we're never going to
- 15:12Speaker 2: help them with their mental health, We're just going to
- 15:14Speaker 2: try to normalize it. Former FBI profiler said the shooter's parents,
- 15:19Speaker 2: well they're ones to blame as well, saying you help
- 15:22Speaker 2: them change their name. At seventeen, that's probably when the
- 15:25Speaker 2: fuse was lit. Take a listen to a little bit
- 15:30Speaker 2: more of what the FBI profiler had to say about
- 15:32Speaker 2: the shooter on Ingram Show on Fox.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Scrawl across that manifesto, James, what can you tell us
- 15:39Speaker 6: you've seen the photos there are various photos.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Of him circulating on the internet.
- 15:45Speaker 9: Yeah, and we're just a few weeks away from the
- 15:47Speaker 9: thirtieth anniversary of the publication of the Unibomber's manifesto in
- 15:51Speaker 9: the Washington Post, and now we have Back then, it
- 15:54Speaker 9: took a whole lot of protocols to go through to
- 15:56Speaker 9: get it in the newspaper, according including from the unibomber himself. Nowadays,
- 16:00Speaker 9: you do these things, You plan these mass murders, and
- 16:03Speaker 9: you put it on YouTube, you know, twenty minutes or
- 16:05Speaker 9: the day before while you're singing along to Annie, and
- 16:08Speaker 9: then you know, RM songs and other factors like that
- 16:12Speaker 9: to make it so disgusting. This person, obviously, he makes
- 16:16Speaker 9: Travis Bickle, the taxi driver character, look like a piker.
- 16:20Speaker 9: He is all over the place. I can't believe there
- 16:23Speaker 9: are not siblings. I think he had six siblings parents
- 16:26Speaker 9: who somehow did not see this, that there wasn't psychological
- 16:29Speaker 9: or behavioral leakage in one way or the other. I'm
- 16:32Speaker 9: not sure where he was living, with whom he was living,
- 16:35Speaker 9: but someone had to see this. And I think we
- 16:37Speaker 9: should look at laws in this country that perhaps if
- 16:40Speaker 9: you have a family connection, who does something like this
- 16:42Speaker 9: and you didn't report it. You can help them get guns,
- 16:44Speaker 9: you help them change their name. At seventeen, that's probably
- 16:47Speaker 9: when the fuse was lit for this guy to do
- 16:50Speaker 9: what he did. You know, five six years.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Later, now our Democrats worried about any of what was
- 16:55Speaker 2: just mentioned there. No, are they trying to stop the
- 16:57Speaker 2: next shooting before it happens. No, what they are trying
- 17:00Speaker 2: to do is use this opportunity to then say that
- 17:03Speaker 2: you cannot own a firearm. That is the entire conversation
- 17:08Speaker 2: and what it focused around on MSNBC virtually all day
- 17:11Speaker 2: and all night.
- 17:12Speaker 7: Doctors and nurses, everyone that helped.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I saw some of the stories coming out about
- 17:18Speaker 6: that heroism and just incredible courage under tremendously insane circumstances.
- 17:29Speaker 6: There is something so perverse about the fact that these
- 17:31Speaker 6: kids drill for this, and yet it seems that that
- 17:35Speaker 6: preparation maybe was useful in this moment.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Yes, so they knew to get under the pews, they
- 17:43Speaker 7: knew what to do. And my friend's daughter, who was
- 17:46Speaker 7: just you know, seventh eighth grader, she actually saw two
- 17:49Speaker 7: of her friends shot, one in the stomach, one in
- 17:51Speaker 7: the neck, and then when she got out, she had
- 17:53Speaker 7: to tell one of their parents what had happened to
- 17:56Speaker 7: their own kid. So these kids did extraordinary things, but
- 18:01Speaker 7: they never should have been put in that position in
- 18:03Speaker 7: the first place. This was a mad man. He was
- 18:05Speaker 7: an all purpose hater by the way, hated groups, left.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Right, you name it.
- 18:10Speaker 7: There's no way to pin an ideology on this, and
- 18:12Speaker 7: I think people should remember this as the facts come
- 18:15Speaker 7: out about this manifesto. But what I learned from this
- 18:20Speaker 7: once again is that guns and we're a proud hunting state.
- 18:25Speaker 7: There's a lot of law abiding gun owners in Minnesota,
- 18:28Speaker 7: but there's got to be more we can do here.
- 18:30Speaker 7: I've long supported an assault weapon band. It won't help
- 18:32Speaker 7: in every case, but it would have helped in Uvaldi,
- 18:34Speaker 7: it would have helped in Buffalo. We don't know if
- 18:36Speaker 7: it would have helped here, or background checks or some
- 18:40Speaker 7: kind of triggers when someone suddenly buys a number of guns,
- 18:43Speaker 7: or better backgrounds. This just we're not doing enough, and
- 18:47Speaker 7: these kids, no matter how many drills they have, they
- 18:50Speaker 7: shouldn't be expected to do that for us.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Isn't it amazing how the left will sit there and
- 18:55Speaker 2: use kids dying to then push for agenda items that
- 18:58Speaker 2: she even admits we don't know if it would have
- 19:00Speaker 2: helped here at all, but I'm going to push the
- 19:02Speaker 2: political agenda anyway.
- 19:04Speaker 1: This is where we are.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Unfortunately, democrats see something like this happened and they immediately
- 19:10Speaker 2: go for one thing, your right to protect and defend
- 19:14Speaker 2: yourself instantly. I want to talk to you about my
- 19:18Speaker 2: friends at Kirk Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago, I
- 19:22Speaker 2: got my new order of silver. Now I'm investing in
- 19:26Speaker 2: silver right now because the pricing on it is amazing
- 19:29Speaker 2: and the upside well, it's real. I actually have a
- 19:32Speaker 2: one hundred ounce silver bar. It is actually really cool.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It's really heavy because it's one hundred ounces. But I
- 19:41Speaker 2: also know that I bought it at the right price
- 19:44Speaker 2: and I wasn't paying massive up charges on quote. Rare
- 19:47Speaker 2: are special coins and then when you go to sell them,
- 19:51Speaker 2: you take away all of your earning potential. Why do
- 19:54Speaker 2: they do it this way at Kurt Elliott because they
- 19:56Speaker 2: have transparent pricing up front, very simple. You pay eight
- 20:01Speaker 2: percent when you buy, and here's what matters to you

- 21:30Speaker 2: to come. K e PM dot com slash Ben. I
- 21:34Speaker 2: want to get you some really important information. And this
- 21:38Speaker 2: actually happened quietly on August seventh. The President signed an
- 21:43Speaker 2: executive order and it opened the door in a way
- 21:46Speaker 2: that we've never seen before to alternative assets in four
- 21:50Speaker 2: oh one case. And what this means is is going
- 21:54Speaker 2: to have a huge impact when it comes to gold
- 21:57Speaker 2: and silver crypto as well. And this was something that
- 22:01Speaker 2: the President put out that he was very proud of.
- 22:03Speaker 2: He said, to quote, by the authority invested in me
- 22:05Speaker 2: as President, by the Constitution, in the Laws of the
- 22:08Speaker 2: United States of America. It is hereby ordered, he said,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Section one purpose. Many wealthy Americans and government workers who
- 22:15Speaker 2: participate in public pension plans can invest in or are
- 22:19Speaker 2: the beneficiaries of investments in a number of alternative assets. Yet,
- 22:24Speaker 2: while more than ninety million Americans participate in employer sponsor
- 22:28Speaker 2: defined contribution plans, the vast majority of these investors you
- 22:32Speaker 2: don't have the opportunity to participate either directly or through
- 22:36Speaker 2: their retirement plans. And then potential growth and diversification opportunities
- 22:40Speaker 2: associated with alternative asset investments. So what does this actually
- 22:45Speaker 2: mean for you and how big could this be for Americans?
- 22:49Speaker 2: Join me out to talk about that. It's Kurt Elliott.
- 22:52Speaker 2: He is the man in charge at Kurt Elliott Precious Metals.
- 22:55Speaker 2: You can find them online and all of this data
- 22:57Speaker 2: will be there at KEM dot com. That's k e
- 23:03Speaker 2: PM dot com.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Kurt.
- 23:05Speaker 2: This was a big move by the President United States America.
- 23:08Speaker 2: There was a lot of people that didn't like this
- 23:10Speaker 2: because it allowed for these alternative investments which others have
- 23:14Speaker 2: been able to capitalize on, and he's saying he wants
- 23:17Speaker 2: to make sure that Americans can have that in their
- 23:19Speaker 2: four to one K.
- 23:19Speaker 8: This is huge, it's absolutely massivevent and of course there's
- 23:23Speaker 8: going to be some institutions don't like it, the JP
- 23:26Speaker 8: Morgan's of the world, the Bank of Americas of the world,
- 23:29Speaker 8: who deal with these paper assets, right, stocks, bonds, mutual funds.
- 23:34Speaker 8: But what this does is Trump is doing something that's
- 23:37Speaker 8: so great for Americans, and he's kind of restoring financial freedom,
- 23:43Speaker 8: giving people the freedom of choice in their finances, right.
- 23:46Speaker 8: And so this executive order. I've been doing this for
- 23:49Speaker 8: a long time since the early two thousands, like decades,
- 23:52Speaker 8: and I this might be the biggest news ever. Why
- 23:57Speaker 8: because the four to one K markets over twelve trillion
- 24:00Speaker 8: dollars of assets that have already been invested. It's not
- 24:04Speaker 8: like people have to come up with the bonds. It's
- 24:06Speaker 8: already there. So what are they going to do when
- 24:09Speaker 8: when you're an investor like you or me, or any
- 24:11Speaker 8: of the listeners on this show is thinking, Wow, I've
- 24:16Speaker 8: been wanting to do cryptocurrency. I've been wanting to do
- 24:19Speaker 8: gold in silver, but all my assets are in my
- 24:21Speaker 8: four one K Hey, I couldn't do it right. So now,
- 24:25Speaker 8: in this executive order, in Part Section three, Part C,
- 24:32Speaker 8: within one hundred and eighty days of this order, this
- 24:36Speaker 8: is going to become effective. That's the first week in February.
- 24:38Speaker 8: So what's going to become effective? Well, let's read Section three.
- 24:43Speaker 8: Private market investments, including direct and indirect investments in equity, debt,
- 24:48Speaker 8: or other financial instruments not traded on public exchanges. That's
- 24:52Speaker 8: OTC markets over the counter like penny stocks.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:57Speaker 8: How about direct and indirect investments in real estate? Wow,
- 25:01Speaker 8: real estate? I can actually own commercial real estate investment
- 25:04Speaker 8: property in my forum. K yep. How about actively managed
- 25:08Speaker 8: investment vehicles in digital assets that's cryptocurrency. Part fourth, Directing
- 25:14Speaker 8: indirected investments in commodities. Well, gold and silver is a commodity,
- 25:19Speaker 8: what Trump is saying. And here's the cool thing. What's
- 25:23Speaker 8: an indirect investment in the commodity? That would be like
- 25:25Speaker 8: a gold or silver etf. It's already available, but direct
- 25:30Speaker 8: would be actual physical ownership. Is the way that I
- 25:33Speaker 8: read this. So what Trump just did is he said, Hey,
- 25:37Speaker 8: I want Americans to have a choice in their financial future.
- 25:41Speaker 8: This is amazing and we needed a strong president, a
- 25:44Speaker 8: strong leader to actually make this happen. So when you
- 25:48Speaker 8: look at this, what are the consequences and what are
- 25:51Speaker 8: the benefits. Well, the benefits are alternative assets because increased
- 25:55Speaker 8: demand should go through the roof, right, because it's like, wow,
- 25:59Speaker 8: we've got people that have captive assets where they had
- 26:03Speaker 8: very little choice, maybe ten to twenty mutual funds that
- 26:06Speaker 8: they could pick in their four to one k that
- 26:08Speaker 8: was it. Well, now they're going to be able to
- 26:10Speaker 8: do this and they're going to say, I don't have
- 26:12Speaker 8: any assets available except for the stuff of my four
- 26:15Speaker 8: one K. I am going to sell my current stocks, bonds,
- 26:18Speaker 8: mutual funds and reallocate, reposition myself into these alternative assets
- 26:24Speaker 8: that I couldn't do before. So I think that's going
- 26:27Speaker 8: to put massive selling pressure on the stock market VND
- 26:31Speaker 8: and you're going to see prices come down. But as
- 26:33Speaker 8: as the flip side of that coin, you're going to
- 26:37Speaker 8: see alternative investments like gold, silver, cryptocurrency go up and
- 26:41Speaker 8: go up a lot because they already have limited supply.
- 26:44Speaker 8: When you have low supply and high demand, prices go
- 26:47Speaker 8: up and they're poised to go up a lot.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I mean, this is insiting.
- 26:52Speaker 8: This.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Financial Times has an article right now about this, talking
- 26:55Speaker 2: about how this executive order not only opens ort to
- 26:58Speaker 2: a ton of assets and one k they said, here
- 27:02Speaker 2: are the key considerations that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: You should be looking at.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Number one on their list is gold and silver, and
- 27:08Speaker 2: then they go into crypto as well, and they're saying
- 27:11Speaker 2: that this is going to allow the average American who
- 27:14Speaker 2: has been left behind to go direct and indirect investments
- 27:18Speaker 2: and commodities that will allow them to gain real wealth
- 27:21Speaker 2: over the long term. And they said this also allows
- 27:24Speaker 2: for the financing quote infrastructure that needed to be developed
- 27:28Speaker 2: for the little guy. That's how they described it, saying,
- 27:31Speaker 2: now it's a fair playing field. That's why the President
- 27:34Speaker 2: did this, and this is something that's going to happen.
- 27:36Speaker 2: By the way, in one hundred and eighty days, dating
- 27:40Speaker 2: it back to August the seventh, So there is time
- 27:43Speaker 2: to plan for this for Americans as well take advantage
- 27:45Speaker 2: of it.
- 27:46Speaker 8: Well, absolutely, And this is where you can profit and
- 27:49Speaker 8: you can benefit from things when you're ahead of the game.
- 27:52Speaker 8: I would rather be six months early than one day late, right,
- 27:56Speaker 8: And so when Financial Times said it amazingly, well, it's
- 28:01Speaker 8: like this is for the little guy. Well wait a second,
- 28:03Speaker 8: I thought TOMP was only for the big guys and
- 28:05Speaker 8: only for corporate America. It's like, hmm, the actions so differently,
- 28:10Speaker 8: don't they. And so this is just so exciting that
- 28:13Speaker 8: we can finally participate in the alternative investments that big
- 28:18Speaker 8: hedge funds, that big international center, you know, monetary banks
- 28:22Speaker 8: globally like the Bank of America and the JP, Mortgan
- 28:25Speaker 8: Chase and the HSBC. I'll do these kinds of things already.
- 28:29Speaker 8: Now we can participate in that in our four to
- 28:32Speaker 8: one case. So if you have four one case.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Let me ask you a real life question on this.
- 28:36Speaker 2: So the other day, literally I bought one hundred ounces
- 28:40Speaker 2: a fine silver. It's it's just a brick. It's simple,
- 28:44Speaker 2: it's basic. It's what you guys actually do. Can I
- 28:47Speaker 2: now do that moving forward, but have it in my
- 28:50Speaker 2: four to one K? Explain that the application of this
- 28:53Speaker 2: in layman's terms.
- 28:55Speaker 8: Yeah, so the answer is yes, So bowllyon, Like what
- 29:00Speaker 8: you're talking about, the one hundred ounce bars of silver,
- 29:02Speaker 8: the ten ounce bars of silver, the generic refinery rounds,
- 29:06Speaker 8: those have already been accessible in iras. You do that
- 29:10Speaker 8: an IRIS, if you have an IRA, you could already
- 29:12Speaker 8: do that, but it was never available in four o
- 29:14Speaker 8: one k's before until now, until this executive order.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So I can basically say I want to buy this,
- 29:21Speaker 2: but I want it to be in part of my
- 29:22Speaker 2: portfolio of my four to one K that I'm going
- 29:25Speaker 2: to do every single year, right, because I do it
- 29:27Speaker 2: for the tax benefits, And I can set it up
- 29:29Speaker 2: now and just say I want part of this to
- 29:31Speaker 2: be in silver or gold.
- 29:32Speaker 8: Yeah. So not exactly today, but in February when this
- 29:37Speaker 8: becomes effective. It's going to take a while for some
- 29:40Speaker 8: of these four to one K administrators to actually build
- 29:43Speaker 8: this into their systems, right, But what can we do
- 29:46Speaker 8: in the meantime, So come February, there's going to be
- 29:49Speaker 8: a ton of demand for metals which are already running
- 29:53Speaker 8: out you know LBMA just came out, which is the
- 29:56Speaker 8: London Depository. It's where it's the depository that holds metals,
- 30:00Speaker 8: gold and silver for central banks and big institutions all
- 30:03Speaker 8: over the world. They basically run out of silver. They
- 30:06Speaker 8: just made announcements like, well we don't have enough to
- 30:08Speaker 8: cover physical delivery COMAX, which is the depository for North America.
- 30:15Speaker 8: They're running so low. This this is wild then, so
- 30:20Speaker 8: they have well over three hundred ounces of silver in
- 30:23Speaker 8: futures contracts paper for every one ounce of physical silver.
- 30:27Speaker 8: So it's like, how could you do that? What if
- 30:30Speaker 8: somebody says you're Samsung, you're Sony, you'r LGA, you're Boeing
- 30:34Speaker 8: or Lockheed Martin, and you say I need physical silver.
- 30:38Speaker 8: And they've been hedging themselves with forward contracts to basically
- 30:42Speaker 8: lock in their prices because we need it to build missiles, torpedoes,
- 30:45Speaker 8: electric vehicles, solar power, whatever, lcdtvs and they want physical delivery.
- 30:51Speaker 8: Well it's like, oh, they have these contracts out to
- 30:55Speaker 8: a tune of over three hundred paper contracts to one
- 30:59Speaker 8: physical silk that doesn't need quit. They're not going to
- 31:03Speaker 8: have enough supply, So we could be seeing a massive
- 31:06Speaker 8: short squeeze in front of us, and what does that mean?
- 31:10Speaker 8: There's not enough physical silver? And Boeing, Lockheed, Martin, Sony, Samsung,
- 31:15Speaker 8: all these companies are going to say, hmm, I don't
- 31:18Speaker 8: care what the price of silver is. If it's not available,
- 31:21Speaker 8: we can't have a finished product. So they're going to say, well, well,
- 31:24Speaker 8: silver might be trading at forty dollars noun, so maybe
- 31:26Speaker 8: they say we're going to offer sixty or eighty or
- 31:29Speaker 8: one hundred. They don't care what the price is. Why
- 31:32Speaker 8: because they're not going to pay for it. They pass
- 31:35Speaker 8: that onto the consumer, right but without silver, they don't
- 31:38Speaker 8: have a finished product.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Incredible. I want to make sure people can call and
- 31:42Speaker 1: reach out to you guys. This is what you do.
- 31:44Speaker 2: It's literally where I got my I did my investment
- 31:46Speaker 2: around the other day and have this. It's on my desk.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I'm holy right now, one hundred ounces of fine silver.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I also bought a little more than that, so I
- 31:54Speaker 2: have a ten ounce and a couple of the single
- 31:56Speaker 2: ounces as well. If you want to see what they do,
- 31:58Speaker 2: Kurt Elliott does an amazing job and his team go
