- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its sting not through good the
- 0:22Speaker 1: harp together for I don't join Jo. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn hur You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out to turn turn the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water the water go. Come come on your baby, huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one and on it. Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Okay. I want to share
- 2:16Speaker 1: something with you that I had to come to the
- 2:18Speaker 1: realization one time, and even in the reinvention of myself
- 2:22Speaker 1: right now, I've had to come to that and I
- 2:24Speaker 1: want to share it with you today. Give it to you.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I want to tell you about something that a lot
- 2:30Speaker 1: of people do in their life and I want you
- 2:33Speaker 1: to be aware of it. Here it is, don't get
- 2:37Speaker 1: stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You know I said,
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You know.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The reason I'm saying this is because people have a
- 3:01Speaker 1: tendency to once they make a decision about something, or
- 3:05Speaker 1: once they decide to go a certain path. They go
- 3:09Speaker 1: against all everything, anything anybody says, anything anybody might do,
- 3:16Speaker 1: any other ruling they may come across. They shun advice,
- 3:23Speaker 1: They don't listen to counsel. They just I made the decision.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You could be wrong, you know. Now here's a sure
- 3:40Speaker 1: fire way to tell if you're wrong. If you don't
- 3:47Speaker 1: see any movement in the direction you've chosen, if you
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't see anything going right in that decision, if you
- 4:01Speaker 1: feel as though you're interrupt if the wall you're climbing
- 4:08Speaker 1: seems so insurmountable that you ain't even moving an inch,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and every time you turn around you keep getting knocked
- 4:16Speaker 1: by down, knocked back down. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You know you could be wrong, you know. See, that's
- 4:23Speaker 1: why it's important for people to always be open to
- 4:27Speaker 1: the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot be afraid
- 4:33Speaker 1: to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't be afraid
- 4:38Speaker 1: to change. Change is necessary when it comes to growth.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There is no growth without change. The more you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: the older you look, that is no growth without change.
- 4:56Speaker 1: If you're heading in a direction. It ain't nothing going
- 4:59Speaker 1: right in your life. It be the wrong direction. If
- 5:03Speaker 1: you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it be
- 5:06Speaker 1: the wrong direction? Could you have possibly made the wrong choice.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Don't get stuck on yourself because you didn't made the
- 5:13Speaker 1: wrong self. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's okay to
- 5:17Speaker 1: let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter sometimes to
- 5:21Speaker 1: admit that you were wrong. You ever met somebody ain't
- 5:24Speaker 1: ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you talk to?
- 5:27Speaker 1: They ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man, They just it's
- 5:31Speaker 1: their way or the highway. It's this is my way,
- 5:34Speaker 1: this is the I know people like that, stuck on
- 5:37Speaker 1: them power trips and all like that. You know what
- 5:39Speaker 1: I had to learn how to do. I had to
- 5:41Speaker 1: learn how to let them go on them power trips.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But listen to this. Though you're not taking me on
- 5:46Speaker 1: that trip. Though you're going on that trip by yourself,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm going in the right direction. I've decided to stop
- 5:53Speaker 1: the way. Okay, listen to this person. This person, I
- 5:57Speaker 1: decided to stop doing business the way I was doing business.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I decided to stop to allow business being done around
- 6:06Speaker 1: me the way business was being done around me. You
- 6:09Speaker 1: know what, you know, the best decision I made was
- 6:13Speaker 1: to allow for God to have some say so and
- 6:18Speaker 1: to offer me his direction. I have found him to
- 6:22Speaker 1: be a better driver than anyone else I know. I
- 6:26Speaker 1: have found him to know more about the man he
- 6:31Speaker 1: made than anybody else who's merely associating with me. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: have found it to be a fact that my maker
- 6:40Speaker 1: knows more about the vehicle he created than does anybody else.
- 6:45Speaker 1: If you if your Chevy break don't you take it
- 6:47Speaker 1: to Chevy. You don't take your Forward when it break
- 6:51Speaker 1: down to a Toyota dealership. They not gonna know everything
- 6:55Speaker 1: that the Forward dealership would know about the vehicle. You
- 6:58Speaker 1: know why, because they're not the maker of it. So now,
- 7:02Speaker 1: why are you litting you letting your life being led,
- 7:05Speaker 1: controlled and guided by somebody other than your maker. I'm
- 7:11Speaker 1: just asking you to let's all take a common sense
- 7:14Speaker 1: look at this. So, if going to your maker's the
- 7:17Speaker 1: best way, the best decision I made in my business
- 7:21Speaker 1: was take over my brand myself, and to allow the
- 7:26Speaker 1: maker of this brand see without God, I'm none of this.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'm none of this. I want you to clearly understand
- 7:32Speaker 1: I ain't none of this without him. I wish I
- 7:35Speaker 1: could have the guts to reach back there and pat
- 7:38Speaker 1: myself on the back for what I've accomplished in my life.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I wish I had the guts. I wish the nerve
- 7:45Speaker 1: of me because I know for or fact that there
- 7:49Speaker 1: is no way that I could have manufactured the life
- 7:52Speaker 1: that I have. I could not even have thought of it.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's no way I could have told you that this
- 7:58Speaker 1: was the route I was gonna take and this is
- 8:00Speaker 1: the outcome because of it. I had no idea, no clue.
- 8:05Speaker 1: The one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith
- 8:08Speaker 1: in God. I had an I just kept believing in him.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I kept believing that he had something more for me.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And then when I touched base with him and asked
- 8:21Speaker 1: him to show me what it is what he had
- 8:23Speaker 1: for me, Tada, the magic show began. Because you know
- 8:27Speaker 1: what he did. He took all my natural abilities that
- 8:31Speaker 1: he had given to me, This gift that he gave me,
- 8:34Speaker 1: that he poured into me at birth, that same gift
- 8:37Speaker 1: that he poured into you at birth. The moment you
- 8:40Speaker 1: go to him and let him show you that gift,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and then guess what. Once he takes what he naturally
- 8:47Speaker 1: put in you and put his super his superpowers on
- 8:51Speaker 1: top of that. Then you have some supernatural things going
- 8:54Speaker 1: on in your life and you may not be feeling me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I'm cool with that, but I didn't have some supernatural
- 9:02Speaker 1: things happen to me. Every day I wake up some
- 9:06Speaker 1: supernatural the man, the rewards of my life, the awards
- 9:11Speaker 1: of my life, the accomplishments, the how I'm working now,
- 9:15Speaker 1: how I manage it all, all that ain't none but God.
- 9:18Speaker 1: That ain't nothing but God. You can't even explain this
- 9:21Speaker 1: schedule to people. Sometimes when people ask me, Steve, how
- 9:24Speaker 1: do you do it? I go, well, it's what I
- 9:25Speaker 1: manage my time. Then at the end of when I
- 9:27Speaker 1: get through, I say, hey, man, you know what I
- 9:29Speaker 1: need to tell y'all for real, it's God. I don't
- 9:31Speaker 1: really know, but I'm letting him manage me. So he
- 9:35Speaker 1: handling it. He ain't gonna put no more of it
- 9:36Speaker 1: than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all, don't be
- 9:39Speaker 1: afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't get stuck
- 9:43Speaker 1: on yourself because you could be wrong. You know, you
- 9:48Speaker 1: absolutely could be wrong if you don't tie this to
- 9:52Speaker 1: your gift. You will be struggling the rest of your life.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to Ladies and Gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning Show us.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Here as usual, our first guest this morning, Roscoe Wallace,
- 10:07Speaker 1: involved in the three trillion dollar lawsuit against the entire

- 11:28Speaker 1: it supposed to be ringing ling ling? Or did you
- 11:30Speaker 1: write it? No? No, No, I wrote it was. It
- 11:32Speaker 1: was actually dangle jangle bears, Oh not jingle bells. Jangle bells,
- 11:39Speaker 1: jangle bell You know you know you don't kind of
- 11:41Speaker 1: like the movie Jangle the sign jangle okay, jangle bell
- 11:51Speaker 1: but you know white people got hold to it, changed it,
- 11:55Speaker 1: won't change it. Jingle Bells lost all his soul. And
- 12:00Speaker 1: part of my lawsuit that you don't de soul the
- 12:02Speaker 1: soul melody? Hell, no soul? What does that mean? He's
- 12:09Speaker 1: you kind of like deep bone in the fish. You
- 12:12Speaker 1: took all the reason that made it a fish out
- 12:15Speaker 1: if you de bone the fish, whether you got right,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I ain't got no right there. That ain't a fish.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's for late Roscoe. It was originally titled the One
- 12:25Speaker 1: Horse Open Slate. No I know that. How do you
- 12:29Speaker 1: know that? Because I wrote it? Hell, I know that.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I told you the white folk got to it and
- 12:38Speaker 1: renamed it jingle ben. Did you see how much I
- 12:42Speaker 1: put in the water hark in the One Park Open?
- 12:51Speaker 1: I said, why are you thinking we got it? Okay?
- 13:02Speaker 1: But for me, I would like me to d sol
- 13:04Speaker 1: it a little bit the way we know the traditionally,
- 13:08Speaker 1: the way it's been jingle Bill, Yeah, ingle Bill, that's
- 13:14Speaker 1: the Christmas Carol jingle oue way do it? I knew it? Okay?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Here I wrote it like that white boat always whiteness,
- 13:25Speaker 1: jump up. They ain't nothing but bleach. They're just bleaching everything.
- 13:30Speaker 1: They blue je drop. All right, all right, Roscoe, thank you.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up at about thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:39Speaker 1: We're gonna run that prank back right after this. And
- 13:42Speaker 1: where is Tommy by the room. You're listening Steve Morning Show?
- 13:47Speaker 1: And here we are. We're about to run the prank. Bradcast.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Tommy ain't here. We'll find out where the hell he at.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But you know, you know you ain't nothing when you're
- 13:55Speaker 1: missing in. Do you back? There's the frank? Can I
- 13:59Speaker 1: buy your free? What are you saying? Alied equipment? This
- 14:05Speaker 1: is training on how I can I help you? I'm
- 14:06Speaker 1: trying to reach Dale. Dale's the manager, right, Yes, Dale
- 14:10Speaker 1: is the manager. How can I help you? Okay? Is
- 14:13Speaker 1: Dale available? Is he there? He's actually with a customer.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Is there something that I can help you with or
- 14:19Speaker 1: pass along the message? Okay? So y'all allied equipment? What what? What?
- 14:23Speaker 1: What exactly do y'all have there? I'm gonna make sure
- 14:25Speaker 1: i'm calling the right place. Oh yes, of course. Um
- 14:28Speaker 1: it's a restaurant supply company. Um, so we have you know,
- 14:32Speaker 1: everything from freezers, refrigerators to your basic restaurant supplies. Okay,
- 14:39Speaker 1: do y'all do have freegans, because that's what I'm trying
- 14:41Speaker 1: to do. I'm what I'm trying to do is, uh,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I've run out of freezer space, and I'm trying to
- 14:47Speaker 1: see if possibly you know, my back is up against
- 14:50Speaker 1: the wall right now. I'm trying to see if I
- 14:51Speaker 1: can possibly uh put something in one of you as
- 14:55Speaker 1: freezes for a couple of days until I get freed
- 14:58Speaker 1: up on this end. So that's why I wanted to
- 15:01Speaker 1: see if you guys would allow me to do something
- 15:03Speaker 1: like that. Is that possible? Um, sir, Sorry, I'm a
- 15:06Speaker 1: little confused. I don't want to buy a freezer. You
- 15:10Speaker 1: just want to put something in one of our freezers.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I just want to put somebody there for a couple
- 15:14Speaker 1: of days because I have a freezer, but mine is
- 15:17Speaker 1: completely full and I'm trying to see if I can
- 15:20Speaker 1: put something you alls freezer until you know, for a
- 15:22Speaker 1: couple of days, and then I'll come back and get it. Um,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. We don't do that. Um uh. If
- 15:30Speaker 1: you wanted to come by and purchase a freezer, I'm
- 15:34Speaker 1: having to help you, but we don't allow outside vendors
- 15:37Speaker 1: to put things in our freezers. That's yeah, I'm sorry. Okay,
- 15:41Speaker 1: Well I was sold. If Dale would hear what was
- 15:44Speaker 1: going on, he might he might be able to help
- 15:46Speaker 1: me though. Okay, Um, you said your name was Kevin. Okay, Kevin,
- 15:51Speaker 1: if you just hold a moment, I will see if
- 15:52Speaker 1: Dale can take your call. That's that's what the hell
- 15:55Speaker 1: I asked in the first plate. Okay, then hold on
- 15:59Speaker 1: a moment. Hey, this is down. I can't help you. Hey,
- 16:03Speaker 1: how you doing this? Is uh? Kevin Kevin, and I've
- 16:07Speaker 1: been on the phone with uh the sales persons. But
- 16:11Speaker 1: let me tell you what I'm trying to do. Man.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm um, I'm trying to use your You have a
- 16:16Speaker 1: lot of walk in freezers that you all sell, right
- 16:19Speaker 1: right we do? Yeah? Okay, So what I got is
- 16:23Speaker 1: my freezer is completely full, man, and I'm I'm my
- 16:29Speaker 1: back is against the wall. You can't highly recommended to
- 16:32Speaker 1: give you a call. Is it possible for me to, Um,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I need to keep something frozen for a few days. Uh,
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's only going to be like two days. My my
- 16:41Speaker 1: freezer will be uh you know, half empty in a
- 16:44Speaker 1: couple of days. I just want to just need some
- 16:46Speaker 1: somebody to just kind of help me out here. Is
- 16:49Speaker 1: it possible for me to bring something over there to
- 16:51Speaker 1: keep keep it frozen for a couple of days? You
- 16:53Speaker 1: know what we got at the show room, you know,
- 16:55Speaker 1: with different displays so you can see what different kind
- 16:58Speaker 1: of refrigerators look in your resta ry. But I mean,
- 17:00Speaker 1: if you want to come and take a look at one,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I could have you in if you're interested in buying one.
- 17:05Speaker 1: But no, no, just there for show, you know right right? No, No,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I have a cooler, I have a freeze already. But
- 17:12Speaker 1: like I say, nine is just full. In a couple
- 17:14Speaker 1: of days, it won't be And I really got to
- 17:17Speaker 1: get this this stuff on frozen. Man, I'm gonna be
- 17:20Speaker 1: in trouble. Like I said, I'm im my back against
- 17:23Speaker 1: the wall over here. Man. And um, I can't remember
- 17:25Speaker 1: who recommended you, but you can't highly recommended that you
- 17:28Speaker 1: might be able to show me a little love on
- 17:29Speaker 1: this look. I guess it comes back depends on what
- 17:32Speaker 1: you need, how much? How much do you have that
- 17:34Speaker 1: you need frozen? I mean I don't even know what
- 17:37Speaker 1: you Well, well, I got um three bodies that I
- 17:40Speaker 1: need to get um to keep, you know, to keep frozen. Man.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You know we run the mortuary over here. This is
- 17:46Speaker 1: bows body. Yeah we got three people bodies. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: we got three bodies that and like I said, my
- 17:53Speaker 1: my freezer is fuller. Man. But in a couple of days,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you know, these bodies, you know, the funerals would have happened,
- 17:59Speaker 1: so we'll be freed up, you know. But right now
- 18:01Speaker 1: I got I got three bodies coming in the day
- 18:04Speaker 1: that I got to get in the freezer. Are you crazy?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Are you damn mind? No, no, no, I'm dead serious.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I'm dead sire bro. So I'm like I said, you
- 18:14Speaker 1: can't highly recommend it, you know what. I'm just trying
- 18:16Speaker 1: to get somebody to show me a little love. Man.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You got those freezes, you don't have nothing in them,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you know, I just needed for a couple of days.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You gotta be out of your mind. We're not talking
- 18:24Speaker 1: about ice. This is at chicken wings to report shoulder.
- 18:27Speaker 1: He's a people. You are out of your mind, man.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But but listen to me, Darren, Listen to what I'm
- 18:33Speaker 1: gonna you understand how serious is is. I have to
- 18:36Speaker 1: keep them frozen. That's the reason why I'm calling. I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: needing your help, man. Yeah, I understand that. Look, if
- 18:42Speaker 1: you want to, I'll have you come in to buy
- 18:45Speaker 1: your own freezer. You can put your own bodies in
- 18:46Speaker 1: your own freezer. How much fun to show off my
- 18:49Speaker 1: shoulder room with frozen bodies and the freezer. But just
- 18:53Speaker 1: just don't just don't show that. I'm going for a
- 18:55Speaker 1: couple of days, you know what I'm saying, don't just
- 18:57Speaker 1: don't show it. Always just come you know what? You
- 18:59Speaker 1: know here, what we could do. We could put the
- 19:01Speaker 1: bodies in there, just cover them up and people don't
- 19:03Speaker 1: want to know what it is. Yeah, and then I
- 19:05Speaker 1: get a buyer that comes in and the cover falls
- 19:07Speaker 1: off it and I got a frozen dead body and
- 19:09Speaker 1: my freezer. Is that even legal? I don't know. Man.
- 19:13Speaker 1: All I'm saying is there's a deal. Man. You can't
- 19:16Speaker 1: highly recommended. They told me that you would probably show
- 19:18Speaker 1: me so love. I'm actually you know, getting ready to
- 19:22Speaker 1: load up and come your way. Dude, you keep those
- 19:25Speaker 1: dead bodies away from my store. I'm telling you right now,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I can't hook you up on this one, all right.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I just can't do it. Okay, But we shouldn't load
- 19:33Speaker 1: up and come that way though, man. So you know
- 19:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's I mean, what am I supposed
- 19:38Speaker 1: to do? I have no you know what you want
- 19:41Speaker 1: to come talk to me. You want to buy a
- 19:42Speaker 1: freezer for yourself, and you want to freeze your dead
- 19:45Speaker 1: bodies on your own. I don't care. I'll tell you
- 19:47Speaker 1: a freezer. I got no problem with telling you a freezer.
- 19:49Speaker 1: But you're not bringing the bodies here. It's just not happening.
- 19:53Speaker 1: So here for Alonzo. If Alonzo calls you and green
- 19:57Speaker 1: lights it is it, okay, then I highly down. Alonzo's
- 20:01Speaker 1: gonna call me and tell me to put freak at
- 20:03Speaker 1: body and wait on our showroom floor freezers. But guess
- 20:07Speaker 1: what Alonzo told me? What did a lions? I'm telling you,
- 20:11Speaker 1: Alonzo told me to give you a call. He told
- 20:14Speaker 1: me to give you a plat phone call. This is
- 20:16Speaker 1: no from the Steven Show. Come on, Are you serious? Yes? Yes,
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'm having my chutter. Oh oh jeez, that guy. Well
- 20:33Speaker 1: you just you just got franked by your GM baby,
- 20:36Speaker 1: that's why happening right here? All right, man, give me
- 20:41Speaker 1: one more thing. You gotta tell me. This is right
- 20:42Speaker 1: here Dale. What is the baddest and I'm talking about

- 22:05Speaker 1: he's at the house a lot. And the other night
- 22:07Speaker 1: he was over late and we started fooling around in
- 22:10Speaker 1: the dead. My dad woke up and we didn't hear
- 22:12Speaker 1: him until he walked in on us naked on his couch.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I thought he was going to have a heart attack,
- 22:19Speaker 1: but he managed to calm down. I am so embarrassed
- 22:23Speaker 1: and I can't look him in the eye. Now. How
- 22:25Speaker 1: can I ever get past this? No, you will be
- 22:27Speaker 1: a good pa front of your dad? And yeah, how'd

- 23:05Speaker 1: I heard it, y'all. Can we just move on, get
- 23:08Speaker 1: to the next one. No, you should have waited till

- 23:15Speaker 1: to get this cow to be done it here. But daddy,
- 23:17Speaker 1: we are getting married, getting made made two different. Well,
- 23:23Speaker 1: Daddy had to me, you're not really looking at me
- 23:25Speaker 1: in my eye and staying anything. I'm looking at you
- 23:27Speaker 1: in your eye? You want looking at me? No, I can't.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Yeah here, No, daddy, Okay, did you tell mama? Y'all? Oh, okay,
- 23:37Speaker 1: we're moving on. Marnesia and fort Meyer says, I'm in
- 23:41Speaker 1: my late twenties and my co worker and I are
- 23:43Speaker 1: in a relationship, but his wife works with us. I
- 23:46Speaker 1: have been trying to be respectful to his wife, but
- 23:49Speaker 1: she has a very nasty attitude, and I have gotten
- 23:52Speaker 1: written up for having my nails too long at work.
- 23:54Speaker 1: She finds patty reasons to pick on me, and I've
- 23:57Speaker 1: had enough. I told my boyfriend to get his wife
- 23:59Speaker 1: all my back or I'm going to end up getting
- 24:02Speaker 1: us fired and he will be in divorce court. She
- 24:04Speaker 1: talks to him crazy at work too, and I don't
- 24:07Speaker 1: like it? Should I curse her out and quit? Or
- 24:09Speaker 1: Grinn and Barrett? The way? She's the girlfriend of this
- 24:16Speaker 1: man's married who is day Ball? You better not say
- 24:23Speaker 1: nothing to curse the boss out because you're sleeping with
- 24:27Speaker 1: her husband and you got a lot of nerve? Are
- 24:31Speaker 1: you crazy? You don't like the way he talked to her? Wow? Right?
- 24:38Speaker 1: So should she curse her out and quit? Or Grinn
- 24:41Speaker 1: and Barrett? Stay there, girl? First of all, see nothing
- 24:46Speaker 1: about this question is right at all? Should I? Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 1: she's tired away she talking to me? She's so disrespectful.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Oh oh oh she's disrespected. The sleeping with her husband. Yes, yes,
- 25:02Speaker 1: the ultimate disrespect. And now you want her to be respectful? Lady?
- 25:06Speaker 1: If I will you, I would forget that you wrote
- 25:09Speaker 1: this latter. Yeah, I will go get me another job
- 25:12Speaker 1: and I will stop sleeping with that man. Yes, all right,
- 25:17Speaker 1: we're moving on. That's all the help we can see
- 25:19Speaker 1: can give you. Samya and Mobile fifty seven year old
- 25:24Speaker 1: married woman. She's in love with a man that she
- 25:27Speaker 1: goes to church with her husband knows that they had
- 25:30Speaker 1: an affair years ago and they went to counseling. But
- 25:34Speaker 1: this is not the same guy as before. She hasn't
- 25:37Speaker 1: had sex with a new guy yet, so she praised
- 25:40Speaker 1: daily for strength to resist him. She asked her husband
- 25:44Speaker 1: if they can visit other churches, and he refused to switch.
- 25:47Speaker 1: How can I keep seeing this man and resisting temptation?
- 25:50Speaker 1: What should I do? Oh? Oh, you have tendency? Yes, yes, oh,
- 25:58Speaker 1: temptation husband, Yeah, we're all faced with it. But every
- 26:02Speaker 1: time she faced with it should do something. Body, Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 1: that's the difference. See what she knows. She knows it's
- 26:09Speaker 1: temptation to her is I'm going to act on So
- 26:12Speaker 1: now how do I not act on it? Because once
- 26:14Speaker 1: you tempt me, I must yield to temptation. Because she
- 26:17Speaker 1: sees him all the time, right, and she has tennis? Yeah, yeah,
- 26:21Speaker 1: what should she do? You know? Kind of like, you know,
- 26:24Speaker 1: kind of rhymes with grownish blackish, you know, it's right
- 26:28Speaker 1: in that grownish blackish ever, you know, and she trying
- 26:37Speaker 1: to stop acting that way, right, so it's black black
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know, Oh, you know, right, But she don't want
- 26:44Speaker 1: to be that no more. But so she's trying to
- 26:47Speaker 1: fight what you are. It's good to fight it though,
- 26:51Speaker 1: it's good to clearly. But you know in my heart
- 26:55Speaker 1: of heart just what I do. I'm just telling you
- 26:58Speaker 1: right now who I am. You can ask the Lord
- 27:03Speaker 1: about me. He made me this way, me and my
- 27:08Speaker 1: husband been the counselor wants. There's another one coming to
- 27:11Speaker 1: here now, and I'm not really sure he gonna go
- 27:13Speaker 1: back to counseling with me the second time, because I'd
- 27:17Speaker 1: do hit. But she does pray daily, she says, for
- 27:19Speaker 1: the strength to resist him. No, she's not, she's not.
- 27:23Speaker 1: She'd wrote a letter, you know, praying me and writer
- 27:26Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. She's even asked her husband to visit other churches,
- 27:30Speaker 1: just getting me out of here, right. Yeah, but if
- 27:35Speaker 1: you go to another church, might be somebody fine over there.
- 27:39Speaker 1: You fit your seven years old sit yo down somewhere,
- 27:44Speaker 1: or you mess around and go to hell. You're getting
- 27:46Speaker 1: close to the gate now. The pearly gates are closing in,
- 27:50Speaker 1: all right. Moving on, Mary Anne and DC says, I'm
- 27:53Speaker 1: a forty nine year old divorced woman and I'm going
- 27:55Speaker 1: on a girl's trip for New Year's Eve with my
- 27:58Speaker 1: two married girlfriends. There's a guy that I just started dating,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and he wants to come on the trip and get
- 28:04Speaker 1: a separate room to bring in the New Year with me.
- 28:06Speaker 1: The girls aren't bringing their husband, so they're telling me
- 28:09Speaker 1: that I shouldn't have my guy there. Do you think
- 28:12Speaker 1: it will ruffle his feathers and make him uninterested if
- 28:14Speaker 1: I tell him he can't join me? Should I plan
- 28:17Speaker 1: something with him and do a trip later with my girlfriend? Well?
- 28:21Speaker 1: Girls like to have a little girl time today's self.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But now let's do the math hill. Both they're married
- 28:27Speaker 1: and you ain't. Probably why you ain't, man, avery time
- 28:31Speaker 1: somebody want to do something with you, you won't drag
- 28:33Speaker 1: your damn girl for you. Okay, Okay, see where are
- 28:38Speaker 1: you going with this? Yeah? See your point? Now, what
- 28:41Speaker 1: you could do is cancel on your girlfriends and go
- 28:43Speaker 1: somewhere with this dude. All you need to find out
- 28:46Speaker 1: if this dude is worth it all the time, and
- 28:49Speaker 1: you might, and if you work some time, then y'all
- 28:51Speaker 1: schedule something on your own. Yeah, but then if he
- 28:54Speaker 1: ain't with you on New Year's Eve, you've been to
- 28:56Speaker 1: find out a whole lot more than Yeah. Yeah, but
- 28:59Speaker 1: the man that won't be in time with you on
- 29:00Speaker 1: New Year's East usually kind of sis, that's a big
- 29:03Speaker 1: weekend to tell Oh, that's right, all right, thank you.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Clo coming up at the top of the r will
- 29:10Speaker 1: have some entertainment and national news for you right after this.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Anybody heard from Tommy, anybody you're listening to the Steve
- 29:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, Okay, so we all watch. CNN anchor
- 29:23Speaker 1: Chris Cuomo has been suspended indefinitely Steve by the cable
- 29:28Speaker 1: news network. This happened Tuesday, a day after the New
- 29:31Speaker 1: York Attorney General's Office released a trove of text messages
- 29:35Speaker 1: and transcripts of interviews that revealed his deep involvement in
- 29:39Speaker 1: helping his brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, respond to a
- 29:43Speaker 1: series of sexual harassment allegations. In a statement, the network
- 29:47Speaker 1: said the transcripts, text messages, and other exhibits released in
- 29:52Speaker 1: connection with the Attorney General's investigation of the former governor's
- 29:56Speaker 1: governor shed new light on Chris Cuomo's involvement in his
- 29:59Speaker 1: brother's defense. So CNN released a statement saying, when Chris
- 30:03Speaker 1: admitted to us that he had offered advice to his
- 30:05Speaker 1: brother's staff, he broke our rules and We acknowledged that publicly,
- 30:10Speaker 1: but we also appreciated the unique position he was in
- 30:14Speaker 1: and understood his need to put family first and job second. However,
- 30:18Speaker 1: these documents point to a greater level of involvement in
- 30:22Speaker 1: his brother's efforts than we previously knew. What okay, so
- 30:28Speaker 1: damn what y'all see? The problem with Democrats is they
- 30:32Speaker 1: played all these rules of righteousness that to other people
- 30:36Speaker 1: don't play. Tucker Casson supported Kyle Rittenhouse the entire time,
- 30:43Speaker 1: with money for his defense fund. His ass still on TV. Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 1: his ass still on TV. Steve Vanion ain't in jail.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Everybody in Trump ain't in jail. See Mary, y'all see
- 30:57Speaker 1: y'all sitting up here. You don't know how to protect you.
- 30:59Speaker 1: It's his brother. What he's supposed to do another level improvement. Man,
- 31:04Speaker 1: let me tell you my brother get in trouble. I'm
- 31:07Speaker 1: there for him. How are you gonna tell him you
- 31:09Speaker 1: can't help him? Though? It and CNN with all this
- 31:13Speaker 1: self righteousness. I'm telling you, if he was on Fox
- 31:17Speaker 1: and had helped a Republican, that would be no ramification
- 31:21Speaker 1: you are. The Democrats have got to stop this self
- 31:25Speaker 1: righteousness because you play in the game. You're taking a
- 31:27Speaker 1: spell of personality off the air. Who is good for
- 31:31Speaker 1: your network, good for this country, good for the Party
- 31:35Speaker 1: of Right and trying to get things done the right
- 31:38Speaker 1: way and exposing things the way down? So what he
- 31:41Speaker 1: helped his brother? Yes, and he's an attorney, Chris is
- 31:46Speaker 1: And if you don't help your brother, who are you? Yes?
- 31:52Speaker 1: And their mother is still alive. How are you gonna
- 31:54Speaker 1: look at your just my brother and you an attorney.
- 31:58Speaker 1: You should help your brother, but you wanted him to do.
- 32:01Speaker 1: CNN need to get off this self righteous thing because
- 32:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you Fox wouldn't do. Do you know how
- 32:07Speaker 1: long Fox stood by Glenn Back? Do you know how
- 32:12Speaker 1: long they still about being right? Oh? Yes? Do you
- 32:16Speaker 1: know how long they still about them boys? And they
- 32:18Speaker 1: have some serious accusations. Do you know how long Fox
- 32:20Speaker 1: stood by Donald Trump? With all that women that came out,
- 32:27Speaker 1: all the women, all that stuff. Here's lawyer went to jail, Flynn,
- 32:32Speaker 1: damned it, went to jail. Everybody around him. But but
- 32:38Speaker 1: now no man, and they didn't helped him every way
- 32:41Speaker 1: you could. I'm sorry, man, this is a bad move
- 32:45Speaker 1: on CNN's part and they're to be shame of their self,
- 32:49Speaker 1: trying to act all righteous and holy, y'all not and
- 32:53Speaker 1: you playing with people that ain't righteous and holy. What
- 32:56Speaker 1: you're playing that game? Fault. Yeah, there's his brother. Don't
- 33:05Speaker 1: give a damn what he'd do. I mean to me,
- 33:09Speaker 1: this is a no brainer. Yes, I'm helping and a
- 33:12Speaker 1: bit yeah, I already okay, Yeah, all right, Steve, let's
- 33:18Speaker 1: cut to the headlines with stan ladies and gentlemen. Miss
- 33:21Speaker 1: Anne true, thank you very much, everybody. Well, here we go.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Just what I thought I was out, they pull. Yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 1: it's happened. Doctor Anthony Fauci says the US as his
- 33:33Speaker 1: first case of the omicron COVID variant. The California and
- 33:37Speaker 1: San Francisco Departments of Public Health have confirmed that a
- 33:41Speaker 1: recent case of COVID nineteen among an individual in California
- 33:45Speaker 1: was caused by the omicron variant. The individual was a
- 33:49Speaker 1: traveler who returned from South Africa on November the twenty second.
- 33:53Speaker 1: The individual is self quarantining and all close contacts have
- 33:58Speaker 1: tested negative. The individ Jewel was fully vaccinated and experienced
- 34:03Speaker 1: mild symptoms, which are improving. At this point, we knew
- 34:07Speaker 1: that it was just a matter of time. Before the
- 34:09Speaker 1: first case of amicron would be detected in the United States,
- 34:12Speaker 1: and here it is so Fauci's reminding people to get vaccinated,
- 34:16Speaker 1: get a booster shot. If it's time, get your children inoculated,
- 34:19Speaker 1: wear masks, especially in an indoor public spaces. Okay, Black
- 34:23Speaker 1: Hollywood is shocked, angry, and calling for justice. And yesterday's
- 34:26Speaker 1: apparent home invasion murder of eighty one year old Jacqueline Savant,
- 34:31Speaker 1: the wife of ninety year old Clarence Savant, called the
- 34:34Speaker 1: godfather of black music, could already say that Missus Savant
- 34:37Speaker 1: was shot in the head by robbers inside her Beverly
- 34:40Speaker 1: Hills home yesterday. A security guard also shot. Police Chief
- 34:44Speaker 1: Mark Stainbrook says this one cuts deep. The Avant's family's
- 34:47Speaker 1: contribution to the world of entertainment and to better communities
- 34:50Speaker 1: across Los Angeles are unmatched. There are no words to
- 34:53Speaker 1: express our profound sorrow for this immense loss, for Jacqueline's husband, Clarence,
- 34:59Speaker 1: their children, the entire Avant family. Former President Bill Clinton
- 35:03Speaker 1: his wife Hillary expressing their condolences, as are Magic Johnson,
- 35:07Speaker 1: Foreign President Barack Obama, Tyler Perry, who's vowing to make
- 35:10Speaker 1: sure that every available resource is going to be used
- 35:13Speaker 1: to find the quote subhuman who did this? Missus Savant's husband, Clarence.
- 35:18Speaker 1: He's ninety again. He's responsible for the careers of Michael Jackson,
- 35:22Speaker 1: Jimmy jam Baby Faced, Bill Withers, and so many others,
- 35:25Speaker 1: considered the most powerful black men in the music business,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and was in fact inducted into the Rock and Roll
- 35:31Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. Second time may be the charm for
- 35:34Speaker 1: voting activist Stacy Abrams throwing her hat in the ring
- 35:37Speaker 1: for Georgia governor a second time. Several TV stations removing
- 35:40Speaker 1: the Doctor Oz show now that he's declared a run
- 35:42Speaker 1: for the US Senate seat in Pennsylvania. Oz's show is
- 35:45Speaker 1: being pulled off stations in New York City, Philadelphia, and Cleveland.
- 35:49Speaker 1: He prepares to run as a Trump supporting conservative Republican.
- 35:53Speaker 1: If he wins the seat, he'll tip the balance of
- 35:55Speaker 1: the Senate back to Mitch McConnell and the Republicans. Now
- 35:58Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show. Okay, Steve,
- 36:04Speaker 1: we're in Dubai. We've been here for several days now,
- 36:09Speaker 1: we're all here as usual. The question is where is
- 36:12Speaker 1: your nephew who who's in charge of call me trip?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Yes night we were all together. What happened? I mean, seriously, though,
- 36:20Speaker 1: where is it? It's not Monday like in the state.
- 36:24Speaker 1: We can't find him in the states, so why don't
- 36:27Speaker 1: Why would he come all the way over here? He called?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Did Steve call me back? Man? I keep hitting you up.
- 36:36Speaker 1: You you ain't picking up. Don't call me back. I'm
- 36:39Speaker 1: in a situation, all right. I didn't. I ain't told you,
- 36:42Speaker 1: but since I've been here, I didn't. I didn't find
- 36:44Speaker 1: me a camel man, all right. They just spoth do
- 36:48Speaker 1: like the best time to get you one is the
- 36:50Speaker 1: best price. So I got like a camel that's like
- 36:52Speaker 1: half of half the price, man, and the best time
- 36:55Speaker 1: to buy one is in December. So now, uh Emirates.
- 37:02Speaker 1: You know they say you can take animals on the plane,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you know, because they got a dog on the on
- 37:06Speaker 1: the pharm but not here, telling me I can't bring
- 37:08Speaker 1: the camel on the damn plane. And then the dude
- 37:10Speaker 1: I bought the camera from its saying that you can't
- 37:13Speaker 1: you know not you on um ain't gonna give me
- 37:16Speaker 1: my money back? So I need your help, man, call
- 37:18Speaker 1: me back all right, but I'm trying to get this
- 37:20Speaker 1: camel back to the states. Hit me up. Did you
- 37:25Speaker 1: call him that? You do? What? Why would you think
- 37:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna mess up all these relationships in a good wheel.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I didn't build over here. You think you think I
- 37:37Speaker 1: would have gotten that the camel plane. I'm just I'm
- 37:42Speaker 1: ignored them. Can't calling him back to Steve. He should
- 37:45Speaker 1: be at work. He got another one another. Yeah, man,
- 37:53Speaker 1: I wish you, I wish you would pick up the
- 37:55Speaker 1: stand phone. Dog, I'm trying to talk to you. I
- 37:57Speaker 1: know I'm running late, but at least pick up the phone.
- 38:00Speaker 1: All right, So listen, I got the camel things situated
- 38:03Speaker 1: to due. Gonna give me my money back, all right.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm from the head over to this junkyard and check
- 38:08Speaker 1: out these Lamborghinis. These as v lamb Morgini's man, they
- 38:11Speaker 1: got one of them, got a couple of scratches, and
- 38:13Speaker 1: they need a new motor. So I'm trying to get
- 38:15Speaker 1: it to dude, gonna give it to me for I
- 38:17Speaker 1: don't know less than half to what they normally cost.
- 38:19Speaker 1: If you want to go in on it with me,
- 38:21Speaker 1: you let me know, all right, but hit me back,
- 38:24Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta at least call me back, Steve. Damn,
- 38:27Speaker 1: all right, I'm late, but I'll be here all right,
- 38:31Speaker 1: either one from a camera to the Lamborghinis and a
- 38:36Speaker 1: couple of scratches. But it's half to right. That's cause
- 38:40Speaker 1: it's half to call. You know, I don't I don't
- 38:44Speaker 1: even have no time for I'm just you know, I've
- 38:47Speaker 1: never been more. Did you return this call? No, I'm

- 39:32Speaker 1: mean we're talking about how much we're enjoying it, and
- 39:36Speaker 1: I mean we had a beautiful lunch yesterday. It was
- 39:38Speaker 1: just on the beach. It was just relaxing. It's nice
- 39:42Speaker 1: to get a break from home. You know, no negative news, right,
- 39:46Speaker 1: you know, no politics, nothing, happy ahead. Everybody out at
- 39:50Speaker 1: the expo. Oh, yesterday took everybody out. You know. They
- 39:56Speaker 1: posted a lot of stuff out there from the expo.
- 39:59Speaker 1: They saw. It's a huge, huge dollar investment that they
- 40:05Speaker 1: built this expos city. But they're going to repurpose it
- 40:09Speaker 1: after over to become a part of just Dubai Center. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: you know, I got I got friends that have offices
- 40:18Speaker 1: out there in it. Uh, it's just a great thing. Today.
- 40:23Speaker 1: The tourism board took us to the name of that
- 40:27Speaker 1: hotel is Bush La Bush La Bourgeli Rob Landmark. Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 1: it looks like a sale architecture, the food, the restaurant,
- 40:46Speaker 1: the beach club. Dope, dope, dope. It looks like a
- 40:51Speaker 1: futuristic city so out in the back of oldam swimming
- 40:55Speaker 1: pools and everything everything. Yeah, thank you Lord for giving
- 41:00Speaker 1: me this life when I was old enough not to
- 41:04Speaker 1: mess it up. Thank you Jesus. You know that's that's
- 41:11Speaker 1: that's a real scripture that your latter days will be great. Yes,
- 41:15Speaker 1: somebody asked me recently or if you could go back
- 41:18Speaker 1: to any age with what would you go back to,
- 41:20Speaker 1: I said, sixty three, just last last year. Yeah, that's all.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I think we can rerun that one. You wouldn't want
- 41:30Speaker 1: to go back to your twenties, not my twenties. No,
- 41:35Speaker 1: And so you know, it's just been a wonderful experience.
- 41:38Speaker 1: A lot of guys went up to the top where
- 41:40Speaker 1: the hell of pad was. We went. We took a
- 41:44Speaker 1: two of the Royal Suite and Queen Hotel. Yes, it's
- 41:48Speaker 1: pretty amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing of the world. We were
- 41:53Speaker 1: on top of the world. Sir Monica kn't get it.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And you think about how does the king live, how
- 42:00Speaker 1: as a queen lived. We were actually in their quarters
- 42:03Speaker 1: twenty four carried gold shopowers, your majesty. Okay, it was unbelievable.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Just get in. There is just bling everywhere, I mean beautiful,
- 42:14Speaker 1: beautiful beauty. And the views, oh my god, breathtaking. Yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 1: taking the Persian golf, just beautiful private beaches everything. Yes,
- 42:24Speaker 1: thank you. Yes, you're the best bus ever job. I mean, yes,
- 42:35Speaker 1: it was really beautiful. And all the celebrities that are
- 42:38Speaker 1: here so much fun, so down your earth and personable
- 42:40Speaker 1: and everything. I mean, Chris Tucker, Anthony Anderson a con
- 42:45Speaker 1: Malik Yoba, Yeah, Ivonne Orgy Yes from Insecure, Molly from Insecure.
- 42:51Speaker 1: It is her birthday weekend and she is turned off
- 42:54Speaker 1: one time for the birthday. Girl. And what's the um,
- 42:58Speaker 1: what's the R and B st R and B star?
- 43:01Speaker 1: That's he's a star over here. Oh my god, I
- 43:04Speaker 1: can't he tell me his name. I can't set the
- 43:06Speaker 1: tip of my tongue. I can't remember. But he was
- 43:08Speaker 1: a great guy too. I mean, you know, he acts
- 43:11Speaker 1: like an R and B star, dresses like an R
- 43:13Speaker 1: and B star. Really, I mean just everything, just top drawer, beautiful, lovely.
- 43:19Speaker 1: We had a good time. We had a great time. Steve. Yes,
- 43:22Speaker 1: the party continues in Duba, I said, top drawer, top show.
- 43:31Speaker 1: We took Sherley's drink from her, thank god. She tried
- 43:35Speaker 1: to have a cocktail at lunch and she had one
- 43:37Speaker 1: sip and Steve, give me that because that's not But
- 43:41Speaker 1: I just like it because it's so pretty out in
- 43:45Speaker 1: their pool. Get back here. But anyway, coming up next
- 43:54Speaker 1: we'll have a brank phone call, but it won't be
- 43:56Speaker 1: from the nephew because he's not here. Girl kind of order, Yes, Steve,
- 44:03Speaker 1: get your nephew. Frank phone call. Yeah, Frank phone call
- 44:11Speaker 1: with Steve on the intro, and you know how well
- 44:15Speaker 1: he does intros. Coming up next right after this you're
- 44:19Speaker 1: listening to. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:24Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today.
- 44:27Speaker 1: The subject is baby making clinic. But right now Steve
- 44:32Speaker 1: is in for the nephew with today's Frank phone. The
- 44:36Speaker 1: reason I'm in for the nephew is because we don't
- 44:38Speaker 1: know where he is in Dubai. This happened leaving message.
- 44:45Speaker 1: It's not got no time for this mess right here.
- 44:47Speaker 1: The name of the prank is eight and two. Yes, yeah, hey,
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm trying to get some also, uh yeah this Sam
- 44:57Speaker 1: Di Sam tryam okay? Sam all right? Hey yeah uh okay.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I thought it was announcing, Okay, it's it's it's Sam. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: Sam Man, what's up? Okay? Uh Hey, my name Calfit.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I wanted to reach out to your high at you
- 45:14Speaker 1: about uh about uh your girl, right, your girlfriend? Yeah?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Yeah she is Okay. How long y'a I've been together.
- 45:26Speaker 1: We've been together about about tending the years, about what's
- 45:29Speaker 1: going on. But listen me and holiday at each other
- 45:33Speaker 1: for like the last few months or whatever. I wanted
- 45:36Speaker 1: to reach out to you. You know, she didn't want
- 45:38Speaker 1: to call you. She wanted me to call you. I
- 45:40Speaker 1: wanted to tell you that, you know, she didn't decide
- 45:42Speaker 1: that she wanted to start hanging with me. She wanted
- 45:45Speaker 1: me to come up to the house and pick up
- 45:46Speaker 1: stuff up. Oh yeah, oh yeah, really, maybe that's what's
- 45:51Speaker 1: going on you calling me. She then told you to
- 45:53Speaker 1: call me and tell me basically what I wanted to do,
- 45:58Speaker 1: saying and just our man and man talk with you.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Just let you you you that's that's what that's what's
- 46:04Speaker 1: going on right now. Don't do it because right now
- 46:06Speaker 1: you're just talking a bunch of what's up? Now what
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm saying any other days, you know, I'm already making
- 46:11Speaker 1: room for her at my apartment. I'm just trying to come. Listen.
- 46:18Speaker 1: That ain't none of it. It's whatever. If you want
- 46:22Speaker 1: to come and get come do. But it ain't going out.
- 46:25Speaker 1: We ain't. We ain't going out without a fight. I'm
- 46:28Speaker 1: not tripping. I'm not tripping with you, and I'm not
- 46:31Speaker 1: tripping with her. But you come to my house. Somebody
- 46:33Speaker 1: getting from my house then it's going down, me and you,
- 46:37Speaker 1: Me and you, So what's up? You're coming and get
- 46:40Speaker 1: out because I'm on the road right now in these shucks,
- 46:44Speaker 1: but dob meet you out. So if you're coming and
- 46:46Speaker 1: get us, come on reading. Okay, okay, hold on though,
- 46:49Speaker 1: hold on, let's back up and see. Like I said,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to lest you know where then when you
- 46:53Speaker 1: gotta have no problem I want to do is come
- 46:55Speaker 1: in the house and get her stuff and pack it
- 46:58Speaker 1: up so I can get it over to me. You're
- 47:00Speaker 1: just gonna come into my house and I've been with
- 47:06Speaker 1: I don't need you. You think you're just gonna be
- 47:08Speaker 1: We're just gonna be teachers in Queen. You got me.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I'm telling you, do you come to my house's going down?
- 47:13Speaker 1: And that just then she needs to be a woman.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Why don't you bring it to me? Why she didn't
- 47:17Speaker 1: bring it to me? You know what I'm saying? What fuck? Whatsout?
- 47:20Speaker 1: What y'all want to be together? Nouvel? She ain't no more.
- 47:25Speaker 1: All I know is she was feeling me. That's all
- 47:27Speaker 1: I'm saying. She was feeling me, you know. She she's
- 47:31Speaker 1: telling me. I mean, dude, you have a problem with
- 47:34Speaker 1: her league, because that's her choice. You know what I'm saying.
- 47:37Speaker 1: If she claims she want to be with me, that's
- 47:39Speaker 1: what she won't. You know, I ain't knocking with nobody,
- 47:41Speaker 1: do you under staying? But what I'm trying to tell you,
- 47:43Speaker 1: she's telling me she want to be with me. So
- 47:45Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get you to lift. Is it
- 47:47Speaker 1: better for me or her to go over there? Why
- 47:49Speaker 1: you ain't there? Ain't get our stuff? Dog? All this
- 47:53Speaker 1: you saying? Now, I don't. I ain't got the rational
- 47:56Speaker 1: lot thing with you. She needs to be the one
- 47:59Speaker 1: telling me on it is and saying she can't do it.
- 48:01Speaker 1: And you man, you man, you know who that what
- 48:04Speaker 1: you call from? Man the man? Come get up. That's
- 48:06Speaker 1: all I'm saying. Come hey, hey, Samantha, Samantha, Hey hey man,
- 48:11Speaker 1: hey hey hey man, my name is Sam. Man. I
- 48:14Speaker 1: ain't gonna tell you that no more. Already told you
- 48:16Speaker 1: that when you called, when you first called, okay, Sam,
- 48:19Speaker 1: so listen, okay, way you know what. I ain't even
- 48:21Speaker 1: gonna go back and forward. You then shows me I'm
- 48:24Speaker 1: gonna come get up. Hey. All this you talking? You're
- 48:28Speaker 1: still on this phone with all that Joe jacking. If
- 48:32Speaker 1: you're gonna come get up, I hadn't invited you. So
- 48:35Speaker 1: if you want to bring your so over, you come
- 48:37Speaker 1: get it. Tom Maiden too old. I've WoT ay two
- 48:42Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, but I'll tell you this isn't much
- 48:44Speaker 1: to it them back them them two down. They don't
- 48:46Speaker 1: want to me no more. They don't want to walk
- 48:48Speaker 1: with me no more. And like I said, tell her
- 48:51Speaker 1: something with you. She ought to be woman to know
- 48:53Speaker 1: what she's behind in the back in the background telling
- 48:56Speaker 1: you to come tell me from me. Think that's the
- 48:59Speaker 1: man I'm gonna and you came because you can like
- 49:02Speaker 1: a too, I'm gonna so what Okay, Well look here,
- 49:05Speaker 1: let me go say this to you then can I
- 49:07Speaker 1: can I tell you what she called me? Man? You
- 49:10Speaker 1: tell me you want to tell me really what she
- 49:12Speaker 1: told you? But what what fuck? I just want to
- 49:15Speaker 1: tell you she told me to prank phone call you.
- 49:18Speaker 1: This is Nephew Thomas Steve Harvey Morning Show. A man, Sam,
- 49:32Speaker 1: you all right, I'm just stay man. I'm just say
- 49:36Speaker 1: man Man Nick Hill, Man, I ain't me ready. Hey,
- 49:42Speaker 1: I gotta hear you say one more thing? What is
- 49:44Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 49:47Speaker 1: the land. And Steve Harvey's show man. Well, one thing
- 49:54Speaker 1: about it, he can prank is missing an action behind. Yes,
- 50:00Speaker 1: so we don't even know where he is for real
- 50:03Speaker 1: at all. This is as Oh, but they just stopped thinking.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Robert watter Man and you know many Chris and everybody
- 50:12Speaker 1: knows y regular to everybody. Oh man, twenty three days,
- 50:22Speaker 1: twenty three days. You know, you know, I'm ready to go.
- 50:25Speaker 1: You know, you know what I mean that big lawsuit,
- 50:28Speaker 1: you know, one of the people at the beginning to
- 50:29Speaker 1: show no about this hill. I mean a huge three
- 50:32Speaker 1: trillion dollars lawsuit. I'm shooting the entire music industry everything,
- 50:38Speaker 1: you know what I'm going through and doing it and everything.
- 50:40Speaker 1: And I want my money for all the rights and
- 50:43Speaker 1: rawaltising and publishing and everything. Everybody stole these hits. Wow,
- 50:48Speaker 1: So what I mean Christmas? So what kind of road?
- 50:52Speaker 1: Every song that ever was a big hit. And I'm
- 50:56Speaker 1: really going after you thought it was just black, But
- 50:59Speaker 1: I'm going out of white folk too. You have some
- 51:01Speaker 1: white people on your list? Oh, yes, man, Like what
- 51:05Speaker 1: what song? Oh I'm rude, I wrote a hit. Oh
- 51:10Speaker 1: you ain't nothing but the hound dog. Oh wow, hum around.
- 51:16Speaker 1: You ain't no hound dog around. Why you think women
- 51:21Speaker 1: called me a dog now? Because they didn't call them
- 51:26Speaker 1: dogs back then. They were just a song. I wrote it, Elvin,
- 51:32Speaker 1: give it to Elvin. H h You knew Elvis? Yeah,
- 51:35Speaker 1: well I didn't really know who Elvis. I knew his daddy,
- 51:37Speaker 1: Oh dad, Helvis, of course he Elvis pretty what they
- 51:48Speaker 1: called calling people old people of me and it was
- 51:53Speaker 1: free and your little brother, whoa old people? You get
- 51:57Speaker 1: the older you get, the more you peep. So I
- 52:02Speaker 1: know I I'm gonna need that mom. I'm gonna need
- 52:04Speaker 1: that money for that one too. Right now, there's so
- 52:06Speaker 1: many hids. How many Christmas songs? It's in the lawsuit
- 52:09Speaker 1: that's listed pretty much. A hold on, I know you
- 52:14Speaker 1: couldn't have written Silent Night. Well hold on. When I
- 52:20Speaker 1: wrote it, they changed it. Here we go here quiet nine,
- 52:27Speaker 1: it's cold to nine. It was a song all Brian,
- 52:40Speaker 1: whoa you know it? Nine? Yeah? Round up anybody that's
- 52:49Speaker 1: a Vergin. Seriously, get your mama's get your child. So
- 52:56Speaker 1: you wrote the Christmas song Silent Night, and the other
- 52:59Speaker 1: day he said this Christmas by Donnie Hathaway didn't Oh
- 53:02Speaker 1: Donny and Layla his name specifically Layla Harry. Anybody we
- 53:08Speaker 1: have with thank you. I'll check with down little Zara.
- 53:11Speaker 1: He be Morning all the way up to Christal almost
- 53:15Speaker 1: stop and do something. Okay, Well, thank you, Roscoe. It's
- 53:19Speaker 1: always good to see you. Hate it three trillion, Hey, Roscoe?
- 53:24Speaker 1: Oh you flirting all right? Coming up next Strawberry Letter,
- 53:29Speaker 1: the subject the baby making clinic. Wow, we'll get into
- 53:35Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show

- 53:50Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. And you never know, we could
- 53:54Speaker 1: be reading your letter live on the air, just like
- 53:57Speaker 1: we're gonna read this one right here, right now. Could
- 53:59Speaker 1: be yours. Never know, introduce it, stee. Oh. He would
- 54:02Speaker 1: go to ladies and gentlemen, Strawberry and letter. He probably
- 54:05Speaker 1: wrote Strawberry Letter twenty three two, didn't you, Roscoe? It
- 54:11Speaker 1: just made me think, all right, here we go, subjects
- 54:14Speaker 1: baby making clinic. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty nine
- 54:17Speaker 1: year old married woman with six children, and one of
- 54:21Speaker 1: them is a newborn. My husband is two years my junior,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and three of my children are his. I was married before,
- 54:28Speaker 1: so the other three are by my ex husband when
- 54:30Speaker 1: I was married. When I married this husband, he joked
- 54:32Speaker 1: about wanting ten children. He's not American, so it is
- 54:36Speaker 1: his big tradition in his lineage to have lots of babies.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I swear I thought he was only joking. He's not
- 54:43Speaker 1: bringing in enough money for us to afford that many children.
- 54:47Speaker 1: We're at six, and he's begging for more. So I
- 54:49Speaker 1: have been dodging him since I have my baby eleven
- 54:53Speaker 1: months ago. I told him it's not customary in our
- 54:56Speaker 1: country to badger your wife and chase her down for sex.
- 55:00Speaker 1: He called his mother recently so she could lecture me
- 55:02Speaker 1: about the blessings of having lots of babies. We got
- 55:06Speaker 1: into a heated debate because I told her my marital
- 55:09Speaker 1: business was not up for discussion and I'm not a
- 55:12Speaker 1: baby making clinic. Then my father in law got into
- 55:15Speaker 1: the discussion and suggested that I allow my husband to
- 55:18Speaker 1: have another woman in our relationship to fulfill his wishes.
- 55:22Speaker 1: My husband was laughing NonStop in the background, but I
- 55:26Speaker 1: didn't think any of this was funny. Now I see
- 55:28Speaker 1: that I've married an immature man that doesn't see the
- 55:31Speaker 1: big picture. Yes, babies are wonderful and I love all
- 55:34Speaker 1: of mine, but that's a lot on me and we
- 55:37Speaker 1: do not, I repeat, do not have the money for
- 55:39Speaker 1: any more babies. What is most troubling to me is
- 55:43Speaker 1: the fact that he's entertained the idea of having another
- 55:46Speaker 1: woman coming to our marriage to have his children. At
- 55:49Speaker 1: this point, I've had one failed marriage, and I don't
- 55:52Speaker 1: know that I can keep this one from cheating. I
- 55:55Speaker 1: can't raise six alone. I can't raise a six alone.
- 55:58Speaker 1: So do I stay and deal with this or send
- 56:01Speaker 1: him back to his parents. I don't know what you
- 56:04Speaker 1: mean when you say send him back to his parents
- 56:06Speaker 1: or his parents over here as well. But yeah, this
- 56:09Speaker 1: is a mess because you've had six children and he
- 56:13Speaker 1: wants more so and you guys can't afford more. That's
- 56:16Speaker 1: a lot, a lot. I know there are women in
- 56:19Speaker 1: the world who've had a lot of children. My grandmother
- 56:21Speaker 1: have fourteen kids. You know all of that, So I
- 56:24Speaker 1: know there's a lot of that going on. But you
- 56:27Speaker 1: you're right, you do have to be able to afford
- 56:29Speaker 1: these kids, especially now, you have to educate them, clothe them,
- 56:33Speaker 1: all of that. It takes more than love in a marriage.
- 56:37Speaker 1: And you know, to have more kids just because you
- 56:40Speaker 1: know that's a badge of honor. You just want more kids,
- 56:43Speaker 1: that's different. You got to consider the wife and all
- 56:46Speaker 1: of this, what she has to go through. It doesn't
- 56:48Speaker 1: seem like you, your mom or your dad are considering
- 56:51Speaker 1: you know, her steak in all of this. So this
- 56:54Speaker 1: is not a good look. If you don't want to
- 56:57Speaker 1: do it, you guys should have discussed this before marriage.
- 56:59Speaker 1: This should be such a major issue in your marriage now.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You should already know this going in. If you change,
- 57:06Speaker 1: you got to talk about it. This is hard. I
- 57:08Speaker 1: don't know what you're gonna do as far as having kids,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I having anymore. It doesn't sound like you're going to.
- 57:14Speaker 1: So it doesn't sound like your marriage is gonna last
- 57:16Speaker 1: If you don't, Steve, don't give it down. I don't
- 57:18Speaker 1: even know why we're reading this to him now. Baby
- 57:21Speaker 1: making clinic, i'ld have been through it. Yeah, I don't
- 57:24Speaker 1: know how you have babies. I take my hat off
- 57:25Speaker 1: to all women having babies. At thirty nine ye old
- 57:28Speaker 1: woman got six kids and one on a new boy.
- 57:31Speaker 1: She got to be tied my husband two years my junior.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Three of them is his. I was married before, so
- 57:37Speaker 1: the other three your ex husband. You married this husband.
- 57:39Speaker 1: He joked about wanting ten kids. Obviously he wasn't joking.
- 57:42Speaker 1: He's not American, so it's a big tradition in his
- 57:44Speaker 1: limit to have a lot of babies. I swear I
- 57:47Speaker 1: thought he was only joking, and he ain't bringing enough
- 57:50Speaker 1: money for us to afford that many child. We're six
- 57:53Speaker 1: and he begging for more. So I've been dodging him
- 57:55Speaker 1: since I had my baby left. Mostly I told him
- 57:59Speaker 1: that it's not customary in our country to badge your
- 58:01Speaker 1: wife and chase it down for sex. That's not you,
- 58:05Speaker 1: that's you. That's what you. The only false statement that
- 58:09Speaker 1: you made, and this is ty letter I know you said.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I told him it's not customer in our country to
- 58:16Speaker 1: badge your wife and chase it down for sake. We
- 58:18Speaker 1: have two married women on this show that have been
- 58:21Speaker 1: ran down and hunted by their husse I just want
- 58:25Speaker 1: to say that to you, and you don't hit him
- 58:27Speaker 1: to nine a damn down. I can't tell you how
- 58:30Speaker 1: many times they've been scooted it up on and you
- 58:32Speaker 1: thought y'all were just gonna spoon, and a spoon turned
- 58:35Speaker 1: into a facher. Yeah, well that's I can tell you
- 58:40Speaker 1: right now, Baby, that that you just said is the
- 58:44Speaker 1: damn I have chased it and badge it and chase
- 58:48Speaker 1: down sex for years. He called his mother and told me,
- 58:54Speaker 1: lecture me about the bless and have a lot of baby.
- 58:56Speaker 1: You gotta heat of the bakers. I told your marital
- 58:58Speaker 1: business not for discus. You absolutely right about that. I'm
- 59:02Speaker 1: not a baby making clinic. You're right. Then, your father
- 59:05Speaker 1: in law got on discuss suggest that you allow your
- 59:07Speaker 1: husband to have another woman in our relationship to fulfill
- 59:09Speaker 1: his wish. Well, I wasn't part of the original arrangement
- 59:12Speaker 1: of manage that you all had. And I don't know
- 59:15Speaker 1: what country he from, but I get into that in
- 59:17Speaker 1: just a minute. My husband was laughing now stopping the bathroom,
- 59:21Speaker 1: but I ain't in the background. But I didn't think
- 59:23Speaker 1: any of this was funny. So now I see our man,
- 59:27Speaker 1: an immature man that doesn't see the big picture. Oh
- 59:30Speaker 1: he sees the big picture. He just he don't want
- 59:34Speaker 1: he want to see it his way. Yeah, babies is wonderful.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I love all mine, but that's a lot on me.
- 59:39Speaker 1: And do I repeat, we do not have the money. Well,
- 59:43Speaker 1: you're the only one that has power to make the
- 59:44Speaker 1: children money. No money, wish, won't gotta have hope, I
- 59:51Speaker 1: can do that. All that's fine to Danny, But you
- 59:53Speaker 1: don't want to produced the baby and you don't want
- 59:56Speaker 1: it to guess what gain you ain't got to do.
- 59:58Speaker 1: It's to meet him mostes, but that he's entertained having
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: other women coming to our marriage to have his children.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Oh really, Oh I don't think that's gonna happen. So
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: when we come back, I will explain to you the
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: other half of what I'm thinking and feeling about this. Okay,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: when I come back, all right, Steve, thank you. We'll
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up a twenty
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, and the subject of today's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: letter baby making clinic. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter, subject baby making clinic. Well,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: here is lady thirty nine years old and man just
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: due two years younger than her. We don't know what
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: country he from. But he won a lot of damn babies.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Now the woman already got six. She don't want no
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: most so she's been ducking her man. Okay, naw, she
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: ain't now, she said in this letter, I told him
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: it's not customer in our country to badge your wife's
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and chase her down for sex. That's the only lie
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: she told in this thing. It is very customary to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: chase and badge your wife for sex and hunt her
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: down and nudge her and try to provoke her and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: plead and army crawl up on it. There's all types
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: of ways and try to get to Yeah, start at
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the foot of debate. Yeah, just crawling in to be
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: trying everything. Then your father in law said that I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: allow my husband have other women out of relationship views
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: wishing and look, I don't know what country from, but
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I've traveled the world, so I'm assuming there's a couple
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: of them that I can think of right off the top.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Multiple wives exist in Africa a lot of times. It's customary.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: There are some Muslim countries that allow for more than
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: one wife, but all of it has to be agreed
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: upon by the wife to get into it. Nobody can
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: make you except it usually has to be agreed upon.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's some exceptions to that rule, but
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that's just it. I personally don't know nobody doing it,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: but good luck. What's troubling to me is the fact
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: that he's entertained having other women coming out marriage and
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: have his children. At this point, I've had a fair
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: marriage and I don't know if I can keep this
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: one from cheating. I can't raise six and long. So
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: do I stay and deal with this mass or send
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: him back to his parents. All you have to do
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: is put your foot down and say we're not having
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: any more children in this marriage period. And if you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: go off and have a child with someone else, this
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: marriage is old. Now. The little money we do have,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I'm going to own all of it called child support. Yes,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and because we're married, you're gonna end up paying a
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: lot more than you think. You already don't have the money.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: So now go somewhere if you want to. This is
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. Okay, are you feeling me now?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: And now here's the other thing. Go outside this to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: dge if you want the next time you shut your
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: ass threaten him, I like it. The next time you
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: close your ass. You better just sleep with one of
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: them shut the other one better be on me. Are
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: we clear about this? Christ Crystal Clear? Feel me, understand me,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: don't doubt me. Okay, I swear I kill you and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: your whole damn family, your mama included. Oh but I
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: like the way she shut her mom down. Here his
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: mom down. I don't like your mama. No, yeah, I
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: like the way she did that. But the baby's grandma.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: But she said we can get another grandma baby here
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: that long. She said, my marital business is not up
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: for discussion to the mama. That's it, okay, all facts. Yeah,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: and the mom was the one that suggested they have
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: the husband have another wife. Yeah, oh huh so it's cool.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Ain't no problem. I bet we don't have no more
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: babies up in him? Well the father did not the mom. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: the parents, one of his parents. Yeah, I'll kill you daddy.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I'll kill your daddy. I will turn in his head.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I'll kill you daddy. I kill you dad in your mom.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I stylish your mom. I'll kill your mama first. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: make your daddy watch. I'm gonna kill everybody your family.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Try me, try me. You don't know who you man,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: had these three babies, and I'm not gonna have another one.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: That's it. And you're gonna get down to this drugstore
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and buy yourself a pack of convince. But okay, how
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: would you feel though if they could afford it? And
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: she you know no, I feel the exact same way,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: because I think a woman's body, the woman's decision is
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: solely up to the woman. A man, come on, all
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: he won't, but you can't produce this baby. I am
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: for women's rights when it comes to their body. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: don't care what the man won't. You can't have the baby. Yeah,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you don't know how hard agnancy is, man. Women be
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: going through stuffing to bring some of the children into
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: this world. Yeah we do about to fitting center, stretch
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: my about all that shape for your pump? An here,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you ain't even got no money in here? You tuning
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: to me? Somebody? Everybody have popcorn? And that we tired
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: eating pop Run him my damn popcorn and blown the sandwich.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: You make another blown the sandwich in here, and see
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: what happened? Now? These are the kids thoughts. Yeah, stick
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: in here, center, we're gonna we don't need a more
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: damn brother sister sharing this iPad called six of Us
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and she just had a baby eleven months ago, not
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: even a year old. Mama tell her, I want to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: use the iPad, baby baby, just let him use it
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: one more time. He got no iPads sent up and
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: hit his boy and he get to watch his TV
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: show on third weekly, your TV day third sitting up
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: in here. Man. She thought her husband was six kids
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and anybody, everybody infrigerator got their own shell. Everybody puts
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: their name on the name money solo. You and here
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you got your own role of toilet titia and you
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: get one role of marf going here and use it
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: if you want to. Yeah, yeah, brand your Tarletitia to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the tarlet keep it in your room. Mama waieis for
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: soda on it? Where I just you just be down
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: at the gas station. I really hope this works out
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: for her, because that's a lot, a lot, a lot.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: That is a lot. Yeah it is all right. He's
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: all for that. Yeah he is, and his parents too
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: all right time. Now, um you know to hit us up,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: FM and it's Graham and Facebook and check out The
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up at forty six
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have some trending headlines and
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: guess what a new mayor, brand new mayor in Atlanta.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening to
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, Steve, we have to have to
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: say congratulations to Atlanta's brand new mayor, Andre Dickens. Andre
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Dickens won the Atlanta mayoral runoff and becomes the sixty
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: first mayor of Atlanta. Congratulations. We all know that Andre
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Dickens and candidate Felicia Moore we're in the runoff from
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the November second election, and there was a bit of
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: drama with this runoff. You guys, hear about this. TI
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: posted on media takeout stating that the candidate Felicia Moore
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: was going to shut down Atlanta strip clubs if she
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: was elected and to vote for Andrea so. But then
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Felicia Moore's team said the TI's rumor and that article
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: was fake news. Felicia Moore did not support closing Atlanta
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: strip clubs. The votes are in, though, that didn't cost Yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: this guy is actually a good guy. Yeah, Yeah, what
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I learned to about I thought this guy was pretty qualified,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: you know. I liked that he came from the right
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: part of Atlanta. Yes, it right vision for a land.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: He strikes me as a very very sharp brother. So
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I was really happy for him. You know, I think
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: he had the right backing behind the right people. I
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: just kind of pay attention to who backs who, and
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: when I kind of see that your backing is coming
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: from some people who I think might not have the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: best interests of the city in heart people, you know,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I get a little bit concerned about that. So I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: thought he was He was a great pick and a
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: great candidate, not saying anything negative against the woman at all.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I just didn't like some of the supporters because I'm
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: able to been in some business meeting and I just
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: heard some people tell me, yeah, we wanted to win
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: because of this that now, and I was going, that's
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: really shake it to me. So I'm glad the brother won. Yeah,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: so we have to say congratulations to Mayor elect Andre Dickens.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: And once again, it was nothing that this woman said
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: or did, because I never met her anything. I thought
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: she was a fine person. I didn't like some of
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the things I heard from people who were backing. That's
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: all I'm saying again, and they could have been lying.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: They had everybody backs for their own selfish reason. So
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I'm not saying anything negative about the sister because there
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: was nothing negative to say about it. But I am
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: happy for this guy right here and the guy. We
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: got a mayor named Dre. Mayor named Dre. It's getting good. Now,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: what's up Atlanta Day. Yeah, you'll have to get to
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: work right away though, a lot of things going on
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: at Atlanta Crime. They've got to fix this problem with
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: these malls. Yeah, they've got to get that. They've got
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to get a grip on Lennox Philps shops a buckhead.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: They've got to fix that. You you can't let the
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: few people out are there making it bad for the
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: good people who would be in there having enjoyable times
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: with their family. A mall should be a family fair,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: that's right. I have commerce the city in the business
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: and yeah, no, no, nobody wants to do that. So
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: they got to get a grip on that. Yes, yeah,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: all right, So congratulations, all right, coming up at the
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: top of the hour, we are in Dubai. We'll tell

- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Now Rie was in her home country of Barbados this
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: week when the island country officially cut ties with the
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: British and declared itself a republic. Yes, Lord as nice,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: no more bowing down to the queen over there. Okay, yes.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: On the same day that Prime Minister Mia Motley recognized
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Rihanna as the national Hero of Barbados, and yes she is.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: She is. Who's more famous from Barbados than Rihanna? Right right?
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: The Prime Minister also praised Rihanna with the lyrical reference
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to one of her hit songs, saying, may you continue
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: to shine like a diamond and bring anna to your
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: nation by your works, by your actions. Yeah, but being
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: the national hero, that's a big deal. I mean that
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: it's big. Rihanna's only the eleventh in the country's history
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: and the first since nineteen ninety eight. Oh wow, So
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: they don't pass this title out or award this, don't
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: take it lightly lately. And Rihanna looked beautiful too. She
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: did this statuesque you hear little room and every remind
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: be expecting with athe Oh that's going around on Socichamadia,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: the Facebook and the Graham well, you know, they seem
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: like they really do like each other. Fancy we'll have
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: listening to the Steven Show. Okay, Steve, we're in Dubai.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: We've been here for several days now, we're all here
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: as usual. The question is where is your nephew who
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: who's in charge of time? Yet? Yes he was, we
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: were all together. What happened? I mean, seriously, though, where
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: is it? It's not Monday like in the States. We
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: can't find him in the States, so why would why
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: would he come all the way over here? He called?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: He did that message, Steve, call me back, man, I
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: keep hitting you up. You ain't picking up dog, call
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: me back. I'm in a situation, all right. I didn't.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I ain't told you. But since I've been here, I didn't.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I didn't found me a camel man, all right. They
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: they this is supposed to be like the best time
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: to get you one, the best price. So I got
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: like a camera that's like half half the price, man,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: And the best time to buy one is in December.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: So now, uh emrits. You know they say you can
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: take animals on the plane, you know, because they got
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: a dog on the on the form, but not he
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: telling me I can't bring the camel on the damn plane.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: And then the dude I bought the camera from its
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: saying that you can't you know not? He on ain't
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: gonna give me my money back. So I need your help, man,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: call me back, all right, but I'm trying to get
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: this camel to back to the states. Hit me up?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Did you call him back? Dude? What? Why would I call?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: You think I'm gonna mess up all these relationships in
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: a good wheel. I didn't build over here. You think
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: you think I would have done that the camel. I'm
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: just I've ignored that. Call him back, Steve, he should
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: be at work. No, he got another one another voice. Man. Yeah, Man,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: I wish you, I wish you would pick up the
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: stand phone, Doug. I'm trying to talk to you. I
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: know I'm running late, but at least pick up the phone.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: All right. So listen, I got the camel thing situated
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: to du gonna give me my money back? All right,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I'm in the hand over to this junkyard and check
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: out these lamb morghineis he's as lab as b Lamborghine's man,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: they got one, don't got a couple of scradus and
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: they need a new motor. So I'm trying to get
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: it to Doe. Gonna give it to me for him.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: I don't know less than half to what they normally called.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: If you want to go in on him, women, you
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: let me know, all right, but hit me back, you
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: gotta you gotta least call me back, Steve, damn. All right,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I'm late, but I'll be here all right either away
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: from ham to a Lamborghini and a couple of scratches.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: But it's half to that's caused. It's half to call.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You know, I don't. I don't even have no time
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: for him. I'm just you know, I've never been more.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Did you return his call? No, I'm not getting involved
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: with that. My name I got, I got good reputation
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: over here, I got friends over here. But we don't
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: know where he is. Steve, all right, Jesus okay, Tommy
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: whatever man coming up in forty nine minutes after the
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Holy everywhere he goes, it follows him and precedes him.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: All right, coming up, it's the last break of the day.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: We'll have some closing remarks from the one in Elie.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: He bawled us out over here. Give it t yes,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Right after this you're listening to what why
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: are you sighing? Because Dubai is so beautiful. We can't
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: stay here forever, Carla. We have to go at some point. Yeah,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: but I don't in a minute. I love it over here. Yeah,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: it's so great over here. The weather's beautiful, everything. It
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: looks like a futuristic city with all this wonderful architecture.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: If you're an architecture student, if you're into architecture, you
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: should come over here for real. Man, these buildings, yes,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the beach. I mean, we could go on and on
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and annie about the beauty and majesty of this, this
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: beautiful place and the Dubai and the people so nice,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: so kind, so clean here, just everyone is so nice
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: and friendly, and we just love it over here. And quickly,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: if you haven't had a chance to see our pictures
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: and you know the videos and all the fun we've
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: been having and all the beauty and what's been going on,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you can follow us. You can follow me at lips
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Bar Carla on Instagram, Shirley at My Girl Shirley on
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Instagram and follow Mississippi Monica at Mississippi Monica you can
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: check us all out your girls out here. Just kick
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: it in. We followed the way we've been having fun.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: We really really haven't. We had to say, guys, yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Steve's being awfully quiet now, but we just want to
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: say thank you Steve again for such a beautiful trip,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: such a just a beautiful getaway. We had to work,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: but this is fun working, fun vacation, so we're gonna
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: give it to you. Let you do your clothing inspiring
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: remarks like you always do, and thank you were lucky. Yeah,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you know, man, I was thinking about us and I
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: had gotten into a conversation with a few young people
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: yesterday at work and we were talking about becoming successful.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: And they asked me, they said, mister h what do
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: you think is wanted the key components to being successful,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: and I wanted to try to share with them in
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: a different way than I normally do, because you know,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: people think I'm repetitive, but the principles of a success
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: are not going to change. You can find more clever
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: ways to say it, but they're the same principles. And
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I told them, I said, you gotta get good at suffering.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: And they went what, And I said, yeah, if you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: want to be successful, you're going to have to get
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: really good at suffering. They said, please explain that, because
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: don't nobody want to suffer. I said, that's true, nobody
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: wants to suffer. But in order to be successful, you
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: got to get comfortable being uncomfortable. And they were young,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: and they were just really honestly asking me, but why
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: are you saying that. I say, because everything you want
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: in life, everything you consider success, it's on the other
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: side of some discomfort. You've got to break through the
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: wall of discomfort in order to get to whatever it
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: is you want. I don't care what it is. If
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: you want to win the strong man contest, you got
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: to get uncomfortable. If you want to win a gold
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: medal in the Olympics, you gotta get uncomfortable. If you
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: want a college degree, you're gonna have to get uncomfortable.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: You want to climb the corporate ladder, you gotta get uncomfortable.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: You want the top position down at your job, you
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: got to get uncomfortable. You want to make the track team,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the basketball team, the baseball team, you gotta get uncomfortable.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: You want to one day get the world record in
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the high jump, you gotta get uncomfortable. You want to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: break you saying boats record, you gotta get uncomfortable. I
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: don't care who you are or what you do, but
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: if you have any aspiration of being successful, you gonna
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: have to get uncomfortable. Because let me tell you something.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: If you stay in your comfort zone, that's exactly where
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: you will failed. Stay there, Stay in your comfort zone,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: and watch what happened to you that you're gonna fail
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: in that thing right there, because there is no success
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: in comfort. Getting successful and having something in life and
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: wanting more in life. It's so uncomfortable. That's why I
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: told them early on, I said, you got to get
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: good at suffering. So imma tell you something about Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: You can say whatever you want to say about me,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: but I'm good at suffering, and you got to say, well,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: that's a stupid thing to get good at. Okay, call
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: it stupid if you want to, But I got good
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: at it. And what makes me be able to sustain
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: and fight through all the things that have happened to
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: me because of God's grace and his mercy and his
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: strengthening me but the strength he gave me, he gave
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: me of the ability to suffer. Well, oh, Steve, hardly
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: know how to suffer. I have set within this thing
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: with nothing but me and God so many times, so
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: many days, so many weeks, so many years. It wasn't
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: nobody but me and him. I've learned how to suffer.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: If you don't get into learning how to deal with
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: suffering and discomfort, you're not going to be successful. I'm
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: sorry to tell you that I wish there were another way.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: But everything that you want in life it's on the
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: other side of some discomfortable, something discomforting. You got to
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: break through the wall of discomfort. You got to break
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: through the circle of convenience. You've got to break through
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the moments of suffering to get to what you want
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: in life. You want to keep your relationship together. You
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: got to get in there and get uncomfortable. You got
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: to start talking about the things that y'all don't really
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: want to talk about. You got to open up the
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: can of worms that you wish would keep the lid
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: on it. Before you get uncomfortable, you need some God,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: don't wait till you're uncomfortable to call it. Start that relationship.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Now those are my clothes and remarks. I hope it
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: helps you. In the meantime, we got to go because
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I got to go to work. See y'all tomorrow. Bye. Ill.
