- 1:46Speaker 1: water want to go, comey, come on your back at it?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shall well, good morning everybody. You are
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:07Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man. That's
- 2:12Speaker 1: business too. You know. I've been talking for the past
- 2:16Speaker 1: couple of days because I've been rereading again the book
- 2:21Speaker 1: The Secret. I was saying the other day, and I
- 2:23Speaker 1: was talking to the TV audience also that it's the
- 2:26Speaker 1: best book I've ever read outside of the Bible. I've
- 2:29Speaker 1: read some great books, and so it's kind of a
- 2:32Speaker 1: hard statement for me to make, but it is about
- 2:35Speaker 1: the best book I've read outside of the Bible. I've
- 2:38Speaker 1: learned more from the Bible than anything. I mean, I
- 2:41Speaker 1: would be flat outline if I told you I didn't,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and I'm I'm trying to get people, uh to deal
- 2:48Speaker 1: with this one thing, and that is the law of
- 2:51Speaker 1: attraction and how you can start thinking yourself and acting
- 2:57Speaker 1: your way out of any situation. See, it really is
- 3:01Speaker 1: true that a man is as he thinking. That piece
- 3:04Speaker 1: of scripture is not um This is not that that
- 3:09Speaker 1: ain't in there for no reason. It's very small, but
- 3:12Speaker 1: it's so huge in the way that I've been taught
- 3:16Speaker 1: uh to apply my faith throughout my life and the
- 3:19Speaker 1: things that I've learned along the way throughout my life,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and so many things are written that our guidelines for
- 3:27Speaker 1: all of us. If we would only just pay attention
- 3:32Speaker 1: to it, you know, that's all we have to do
- 3:35Speaker 1: to understand that God operates only on faith. You know,
- 3:40Speaker 1: that's an amazing piece to get folks that He operates
- 3:44Speaker 1: on faith. He can only give you and award you
- 3:48Speaker 1: what you believe. So everybody gets awarded and receives up
- 3:54Speaker 1: to the level of their belief, which is their faith.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Once again for the thousand time. What is faith. Faith
- 4:03Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. That's
- 4:06Speaker 1: the best way for me to describe it. That's how
- 4:09Speaker 1: I was able to wrap my mind around it. There
- 4:11Speaker 1: are other descriptions of faith, and probably people who can
- 4:15Speaker 1: do it more eloquently, but in basic when you peel
- 4:18Speaker 1: back to banana, this is what it means to me.
- 4:22Speaker 1: This is the interpretation that it is the belief in
- 4:25Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Okay, look, if I'm running
- 4:29Speaker 1: a race, and let's say it's one time around, however
- 4:32Speaker 1: long that it could be miles yards whatever, it's one
- 4:37Speaker 1: time around, and halfway around, I get tired. But at
- 4:43Speaker 1: the halfway point, I can see the finish line. Then
- 4:47Speaker 1: guess what, I know that if I just continue on
- 4:52Speaker 1: that right there, I win. If I just finished, I win.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But I can see the finish line. So us what
- 5:00Speaker 1: it makes it a lot easier for me to keep
- 5:03Speaker 1: going because the finish line is in sight. What makes
- 5:07Speaker 1: the great runner, though, See, it's the person who is
- 5:12Speaker 1: running and cannot see the finish line, but runs with
- 5:18Speaker 1: the hope and aspiration that if he just keep running,
- 5:22Speaker 1: he gonna get to the finish line. That's where you
- 5:26Speaker 1: got to get to see. That is the person that exhales,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that goes beyond the realm of ordinary and gets into
- 5:35Speaker 1: the realm of extraordinary. When you can get your mind
- 5:41Speaker 1: to believe in in something that you can't see, that's
- 5:45Speaker 1: when you open up the possibilities that God has for you. See,
- 5:49Speaker 1: if you're operating only on what you can see in
- 5:52Speaker 1: your mind, and then it's gonna be limited. And but
- 5:56Speaker 1: that's where you will be. But if you expand your faith,
- 6:00Speaker 1: if you expand your belief into I believe that God
- 6:04Speaker 1: has so much more for me. I believe that God
- 6:07Speaker 1: is gonna give me this life of abundance. I believe
- 6:10Speaker 1: that God will take care of me. I believe that
- 6:13Speaker 1: no weapon formed against me your prosper I believe that
- 6:16Speaker 1: I can walk through the fire and I will not
- 6:18Speaker 1: get burned. That right there, Now we're talking something else now, folks.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And if you can get yourself there, then you open
- 6:26Speaker 1: up yourself to some amazing things from God. That's how
- 6:30Speaker 1: you get an amazing life. And I want to say
- 6:33Speaker 1: amazing life. I want you to understand I'm not always
- 6:36Speaker 1: talking about money. I'm talking about man. God to put
- 6:39Speaker 1: the right person in your life. God to bring the
- 6:42Speaker 1: right situations around. He'll cause you to meet the right people.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You'll be sitting in the right meetings. You'll be seating
- 6:50Speaker 1: sitting in meetings that all of a sudden that have substance,
- 6:53Speaker 1: instead of y'all just sitting there meeting ain't nothing going on.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He'll He'll give you new friends of like mindedness around you,
- 7:02Speaker 1: people that are going in the same direction as you.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Somebody that you can share some thoughts with, that got
- 7:08Speaker 1: some things in common, that know what the rough party
- 7:11Speaker 1: is you're going through, because man, I'm going through the
- 7:13Speaker 1: same thing. That's what I mean by giving you a
- 7:16Speaker 1: wonderful life. Those are the things that make life wonderful.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Not money. I want to first tell you that am
- 7:22Speaker 1: I against it, Not at all. Uh, it's a very
- 7:25Speaker 1: useful to money can be at times. But that boy
- 7:29Speaker 1: Biggie Smalls, he he never he never lied when he
- 7:32Speaker 1: said more money, more problems. That that is a true
- 7:36Speaker 1: statement if I've ever heard one. But guess what though, See,
- 7:39Speaker 1: God also provides you the wisdom and understanding to deal
- 7:43Speaker 1: with the new problems that arise, and he'll get you
- 7:46Speaker 1: through it. But you've got to open up your mind
- 7:49Speaker 1: to the possibilities of your life. Because God operates on faith,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and a man is as he thinking, you've got to
- 7:58Speaker 1: understand that law scripture that's so big in your life
- 8:02Speaker 1: people overlooked at. So you know you are what you've
- 8:06Speaker 1: attracted to yourself. Lord, I'm sick and tired of meeting
- 8:10Speaker 1: no good men. Oh okay, so don't blame this on God.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Now I want you blame this on yourself. Lord, I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: sick of meeting no good men. The law of attraction
- 8:21Speaker 1: doesn't work on I'm sick of what is that? You're
- 8:24Speaker 1: sick of what? I'm tired of meeting? That meeting? What
- 8:28Speaker 1: the subject that the law of attraction works on? What
- 8:31Speaker 1: you put out off your transmitter was, I'm sick and
- 8:34Speaker 1: tired of meeting no good men. So what you attract
- 8:38Speaker 1: to yourself is more no good men that you can
- 8:43Speaker 1: be sick of meeting. If you don't think it works
- 8:46Speaker 1: like this, then I'm sorry. You know. And here's one
- 8:48Speaker 1: thing that the book says clearly about the law of attraction.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It does not matter if you believe it. It doesn't
- 8:53Speaker 1: matter if you accept it. It doesn't mean if you've
- 8:56Speaker 1: ever been aware of it. It doesn't mean that if
- 8:58Speaker 1: you don't acknowledge it, it just goes away. For you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: it works for you anyway. It is the law of attraction.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Break that down. Guess what it is? A man is
- 9:10Speaker 1: as he thinketh Break that down now, so you can
- 9:13Speaker 1: wrap your mind around this thing. So guess what you
- 9:16Speaker 1: got to watch and be mindful. There's a scripture that
- 9:19Speaker 1: I do not know what it is or something like this,
- 9:21Speaker 1: but it me it tells you to be conscious of
- 9:24Speaker 1: the words you speak. Now. I don't know what the scripture.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I don't know where it is. I'm sorry. I know
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's in that or and I've heard it. When I
- 9:33Speaker 1: heard that, I went, wow, Man, that's powerful. But you
- 9:36Speaker 1: got to be conscious of the words you speak. See,
- 9:40Speaker 1: the words you speak are usually what you're thinking. So
- 9:43Speaker 1: if you speak it into existence and that's what you think,
- 9:48Speaker 1: that's what you become a magnet for no good men.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I think I gave you this example yesterday, and I
- 9:55Speaker 1: repeat it. Lord, I want to get out of debt.
- 9:59Speaker 1: The law of tra action. Here's that. And guess what
- 10:02Speaker 1: it is sent to you? More debt for you to
- 10:06Speaker 1: get out of. Lord, out of I k ever, get
- 10:09Speaker 1: out of this debt. Guess what the law of attraction does.
- 10:12Speaker 1: It attracts more debt for you, not to get out
- 10:15Speaker 1: of When are we going to stop saying it that way?
- 10:18Speaker 1: If you make a simple change in your life and
- 10:21Speaker 1: simply say I am going to live a life of abundance, Well,
- 10:26Speaker 1: if you have abundance, don't that mean you have enough?
- 10:29Speaker 1: Then guess what? You will have enough to pay off
- 10:33Speaker 1: people you owe. That's that's the great thing about it, man,
- 10:37Speaker 1: It's it's such a small tuning of the mind, tuning
- 10:41Speaker 1: of the speech pattern. Stop hanging around people ain't talking
- 10:45Speaker 1: about nothing, always talking about people and being negative people
- 10:48Speaker 1: that talk about people that ain't going nowhere, man, no where? Okay, alright, y'all,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I hope you give me thank you. You're listening to
- 11:01Speaker 1: y'all are singing grow? Why don't you sing something fall?
- 11:06Speaker 1: I got nothing but love for you, baby, got nothing
- 11:11Speaker 1: but loved or you. Baby. Hey, good morning. It is
- 11:15Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morney Show, nephew, and the bill I
- 11:21Speaker 1: really did. We should all talk after the show. Y'all

- 12:06Speaker 1: a speech in the group. They allowed everyone to speak,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and when he finished, she said, yeah, this is Rizzo.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I'm out the group who started my own from from

- 21:40Speaker 1: a white woman. A right, And yeah, she should have

- 22:04Speaker 1: And that alright? Coming up next. You know it never stops.

- 23:17Speaker 1: a meeting, uh, a lot of the beacons and the
- 23:23Speaker 1: sisters at the church the have come to had a meeting,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and I wanted to give you a call. Melanie, Melanie,
- 23:34Speaker 1: that's that's that's your sister, right ya, sister. Okay, alright, well,
- 23:42Speaker 1: now we got a bit of a problem, but uh,
- 23:46Speaker 1: they felt that it would be best for me to
- 23:48Speaker 1: call you and discuss it with you and and let
- 23:52Speaker 1: you know what the you know what they have agreed upon.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I'm just basically the messenger, and I'm just calling you
- 23:59Speaker 1: to give you the word of what's going on. Okay, Um, brother, right, yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 1: brother Greed, Greed. Uh, your wife has an a choir, right,
- 24:11Speaker 1: uh yeah, yeah, like yeah, okay, okay, I know I
- 24:15Speaker 1: think I know. Yeah, okay, okay, all right, Um, Well,
- 24:21Speaker 1: like I said, Sister Alicia, what the officials of the
- 24:24Speaker 1: church are saying is that they they're saying that they
- 24:28Speaker 1: have reason to believe that your sister has been having
- 24:33Speaker 1: an affair with with pastors and uh, my sister, your sister, Melanie.
- 24:42Speaker 1: They're saying she's having it and having a fair with
- 24:45Speaker 1: having an affair with pastor do not. I'm, like I said,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'm just the messenger. Okay, So why are y'are calling
- 24:53Speaker 1: me about something Melanie doing. Well, like I said, officials
- 25:00Speaker 1: had a meeting, and what they're saying is this is
- 25:04Speaker 1: nothing but a jezzerble spirit and what they are not
- 25:10Speaker 1: wait wait, wait a minute now, and now you're being rude.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Now come on, okay, I'm gona here yet. Now you're
- 25:17Speaker 1: just hear me out. Now. They're saying that this is
- 25:20Speaker 1: a juzzlebell spirit and they would rather oh of the
- 25:26Speaker 1: family not be welcome at the church anymore. Okay, First
- 25:34Speaker 1: of all, why are you delivering a message to me
- 25:38Speaker 1: about my sister. If you have a problem with my sister,
- 25:41Speaker 1: seems like you will be calling my sister. Now we
- 25:44Speaker 1: two separate people, So why are you calling me about
- 25:48Speaker 1: my sister about a rumor? And now you say y'all
- 25:52Speaker 1: don't want me in the church. Is that? Is that
- 25:55Speaker 1: what you're saying for the entire family. So if you
- 26:01Speaker 1: got some brothers, sisters, aunt team they want because they
- 26:06Speaker 1: evidently all of the ladies in the comps of fact
- 26:09Speaker 1: must have some tide of Jezebel spirit of nobody they
- 26:12Speaker 1: don't and they don't want to Wait wait, wait, wait
- 26:14Speaker 1: a minute. Now, you just like I said, now, be
- 26:17Speaker 1: be mindful who you're speaking to, calling somebody or Jezebel.
- 26:22Speaker 1: What you know, what you can't do is called somebody
- 26:26Speaker 1: and accuse somebody and then call him a derogatory word.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Come about somebody of Jezebel and a Jezebel. Now you're
- 26:32Speaker 1: being rude, sir. Well, it's a Jezebels spirit. It's what
- 26:37Speaker 1: they were saying that they's got to be the most asternine, foolish.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And that's I've ever heard in my life. Who've done that?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Who aren't you to call me? Don't ask me no
- 26:49Speaker 1: like that, you're calling me all like some bush like
- 26:51Speaker 1: who who can hell call my body? Got a Jezebell sis?
- 26:54Speaker 1: That's gon to call somebody a kid, come like you
- 26:56Speaker 1: got a bad kid? Is your mama rale Jezebel kid?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Don't wait, wait, wait a minute. I'm just did your
- 27:02Speaker 1: mama did your red little sit where my wife's out
- 27:04Speaker 1: of Jezebel's spirit. I'm asking you and your ass that's
- 27:10Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. You're gonna mess around and get your
- 27:11Speaker 1: ass up and get draw through the damn pool pit
- 27:14Speaker 1: around with the top. Well, as of right now, the
- 27:17Speaker 1: family can't come to the church. You think we want
- 27:21Speaker 1: to be around a church that got people conferts asking me,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I sholl damn might do I have a Jezebel? But
- 27:29Speaker 1: you never answered the question do you have one? I
- 27:32Speaker 1: might have a ray had spirit? Now you know she
- 27:35Speaker 1: was a good Bible. Now I've been if never this
- 27:38Speaker 1: dame church for the last eight year. I don't say
- 27:40Speaker 1: plenty tides to this damned church and it's attacked the
- 27:43Speaker 1: priblem with me. Do help that I have a problem
- 27:46Speaker 1: with me? Just Alicia, Yeah, let me tell you this.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna be go ahead. First of all, before
- 27:54Speaker 1: you see another damn work, you need to apologize and
- 27:57Speaker 1: speak to look like you got something Okay, can I
- 28:00Speaker 1: say this? Go ahead? I apologize. Okay, I apologize because
- 28:07Speaker 1: this is a few Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning
- 28:10Speaker 1: Show and you just got franked by your sister Melanie.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna kick that was right? That was that was
- 28:27Speaker 1: a good for you? Ya got Melanie asked for that.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't know who the lady is in the choir
- 28:34Speaker 1: with the real live sticker with that. I have no
- 28:38Speaker 1: the idea, alright, No Jezebel spirits, none of that. We
- 28:44Speaker 1: all right? Maybe maybe you ray half like I did.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Maybe your ray hal because you don't even more than
- 28:50Speaker 1: the one the Bible. She did good work for the kingdom,
- 28:52Speaker 1: because you know, I'm just working for the kingdom now.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I have been a long time now with Oh God
- 29:05Speaker 1: at church people. I love church people. Hey, let me
- 29:08Speaker 1: ask you something. What is the baddest radio show with
- 29:11Speaker 1: the lay? You tell him, girl, you tell him, You
- 29:18Speaker 1: tell him. Jail's Abel's spirit. That's right, Junior boy. One
- 29:24Speaker 1: day away, one day away from Megafest Dallas, Texas, tomorrow night.

- 29:38Speaker 1: Robertson the Let's goes on J. J. Williamson, Let's go
- 29:42Speaker 1: on and on and own and own, hosted by yours truely.

- 29:48Speaker 1: brand new prank. CI do you won't he do it

- 29:55Speaker 1: get it right now. I wish we could be there.
- 30:00Speaker 1: That sounds like fun. You got playing money fun? I said,
- 30:05Speaker 1: I wish I could be there. Um, Carl and Jr.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Is working you. If you ain't with me and Dallas,
- 30:15Speaker 1: you should be with them in New Orleans. Now you're
- 30:17Speaker 1: gonna have to make a decision. You want to wear
- 30:20Speaker 1: your church hat or you want to do the electrics? Lad,
- 30:22Speaker 1: which one you want to do? I'm in Dallas, So
- 30:25Speaker 1: who's gonna barbecue at my house? Really? Tommy? Really? How
- 30:28Speaker 1: intensitive of you? Who's gonna do those sides? Not you?
- 30:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying I will be working all right. Listen.
- 30:38Speaker 1: According to Sports Illustrated, apparently, when you finally win the
- 30:42Speaker 1: World Series after a hundred and eight years, you get
- 30:44Speaker 1: to go to the White House. The Cubs are in Washington,
- 30:47Speaker 1: d C. To play the Nationals, and they're gonna make
- 30:50Speaker 1: their second visit to the White House since winning the
- 30:52Speaker 1: World Series. The team was there in January met with
- 30:55Speaker 1: President Obama before he left office. Today's meeting with President
- 30:59Speaker 1: Trump is just ribbed as informal. It was set up
- 31:02Speaker 1: by a team's co owner, Todd Ricketts. Rickets. Miss Anna's
- 31:08Speaker 1: coming up with national news. We'll be back. You're listening
- 31:12Speaker 1: to the Steve har All right, miss Anna standing by
- 31:17Speaker 1: with today's national news. But Phil Jackson is out in
- 31:21Speaker 1: New York. Okay, so polish your resumes. And New York
- 31:25Speaker 1: Knicks are looking for a new general manager after parting
- 31:28Speaker 1: ways with Phil Jackson. Yeah, after three losing seasons. Uh.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Phil Jackson had become embroiled in offseason scuffles with Carmelo
- 31:38Speaker 1: Anthony and some of the other players there. Uh And
- 31:42Speaker 1: though owner James Dolan had pledged support for Jackson just
- 31:45Speaker 1: months ago, the Knicks decided to make a fresh start.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Jackson got his start as a player with the Knicks
- 31:51Speaker 1: back in the seventies, but is best known, of course
- 31:54Speaker 1: as the mastermind coach behind the triangle offense that powered
- 31:58Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's Bulls and Kobe Rance Lakers to multiple championships.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, uh, this doesn't solve, however, the Carmelo problem. Okay,
- 32:07Speaker 1: we're calling this the Carmelo problem. He still wants to
- 32:11Speaker 1: stay in New York, but his salary is so high
- 32:14Speaker 1: is keeping them from making other roster moves. And uh,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I mean, you know, they pay him a lot there,
- 32:19Speaker 1: so they're gonna try to finagle some stuff, I guess.
- 32:22Speaker 1: But speaking of Carmelo, he is gearing up for brand
- 32:26Speaker 1: new gig two Okay, sources say that Carmelo is pitching
- 32:31Speaker 1: a reality show about his work as a political activist.
- 32:35Speaker 1: The weekly half hour show would feature Carmelo addressing social
- 32:40Speaker 1: issues with other celebs will also work in activism, and
- 32:43Speaker 1: venturing out to meetings and rallies. Interesting, uh, very interesting.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yea in sports that knows politics, that would be cool.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So yeah, this is according to sources in New York
- 32:56Speaker 1: that you know, he's doing other things. Branching out, branching out, branching.
- 33:00Speaker 1: He's been branching out. Somebody let it go him with me.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Come on, he's been branching. Now, the club way he's
- 33:14Speaker 1: been branching. Okay, Lala says they're best friends. They're best
- 33:20Speaker 1: friends right now, and she left it open. You never
- 33:23Speaker 1: know if they'll get back together. And now the baby
- 33:28Speaker 1: don't need to be seeing this, That's all I'm saying. Baby,
- 33:31Speaker 1: don't need to be seeing you go ahead and lead
- 33:34Speaker 1: the Knicks. Man, he just should go here and go
- 33:37Speaker 1: He should because he at the end of his career.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You want to get on a good team at least
- 33:40Speaker 1: try for a championship. Yeah, some rumors he may go
- 33:45Speaker 1: to Boston or something. Did you hear that? Yeah, Boston.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Want anywhere he needs to go other than New York,
- 33:52Speaker 1: you know, like like Toronto ain't bad right now, mellow
- 33:59Speaker 1: University canuck you can go down there, close to college.
- 34:06Speaker 1: He really should be in Atlanta. You know what I mean?
- 34:11Speaker 1: You're right by Magic said. You know what I'm saying.
- 34:13Speaker 1: You get you know, cheats right down the coln. You
- 34:19Speaker 1: know we wrong, We wrong, Yes, we wrong. But a
- 34:33Speaker 1: lot of basketball news yesterday. Did you hear Chris Paul
- 34:37Speaker 1: go right down, baby that we got him. Now. All
- 34:43Speaker 1: we need now is Lebron and Wen. You don't see
- 34:49Speaker 1: that you think positive, dream and then get Phil Jackson,
- 34:54Speaker 1: his coach. He all right, come on, let the beautiful,
- 35:00Speaker 1: the one and only. We got national news with m
- 35:03Speaker 1: Is and Trip. Thanks Tommy, Good morning, everybody, Toria, Carla,
- 35:07Speaker 1: Shirley and Junior and Joy Anthony Brown, everybody out there
- 35:10Speaker 1: and Trip. Okay, here we go. The parts of the
- 35:13Speaker 1: President's a travel band permitted now by the Supreme Court,
- 35:16Speaker 1: going to affect at eight pm tonight, and immigration lawyers
- 35:19Speaker 1: and members of the American Civil Liberties Union are going
- 35:21Speaker 1: to be at the international airports to help people if
- 35:23Speaker 1: they get, you know, entangled. In all this, officials on
- 35:25Speaker 1: the Justice Department, Homeland Security, and the State Department drew
- 35:29Speaker 1: up a list of criteria that visitors from the six
- 35:32Speaker 1: mostly Muslim countries will now have to meet before being
- 35:35Speaker 1: allowed to enter this country. The measures include the increased
- 35:38Speaker 1: screening of electronic devices. Also, a person has to have
- 35:41Speaker 1: a bona fide relationship quote unquote with the U. S. Citizen,
- 35:44Speaker 1: like a parent of sibling or an adult child. So
- 35:46Speaker 1: we'll see how that shakes out. Republican leads me, while
- 35:49Speaker 1: working with the President try and revise the Senate's healthcare bill,
- 35:52Speaker 1: but already Leader Mitch McConnell's now promising to get a
- 35:55Speaker 1: vote on it once lawmakers returned to the Capitol after
- 35:58Speaker 1: the July fourth recess. We'll contin working so we can
- 36:00Speaker 1: bring legislation to the floor for debate and ultimately a vote.
- 36:04Speaker 1: We know that we cannot afford good delay on this issue.
- 36:08Speaker 1: We have to get this done for the American people.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Republicans need fifty votes to pass the measure. They have
- 36:13Speaker 1: fifty two seats. But but, but at least seven GOP
- 36:16Speaker 1: senators say they're not going to pass this bill in
- 36:18Speaker 1: its current form. McConnell has to find a way to
- 36:21Speaker 1: appease the moderates who disagree with the cuts to Medicaid
- 36:24Speaker 1: and the Conservatives who don't think the cuts go deep
- 36:26Speaker 1: enough if he can kind of a bridge that develvide somehow,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I don't know. And then on top of that, a
- 36:31Speaker 1: no vote can be taken on the measure until the
- 36:33Speaker 1: federal number of crunches the Congressional Budget Office take a
- 36:36Speaker 1: look at it and issue a report. Beef processing company
- 36:39Speaker 1: in South Dakota and ABC News have agreed to sell
- 36:42Speaker 1: their multimillion dollar legal spute over It's an undisclosed amount
- 36:46Speaker 1: over a product called pink slime. You remember hearing about
- 36:49Speaker 1: this a few years ago back in ABC News broadcasts
- 36:52Speaker 1: a series of report about a substance that was commonly
- 36:54Speaker 1: added to ground beef highly processed beef trimmings, but the
- 36:58Speaker 1: network called it pink time. Now, that's a term coined
- 37:01Speaker 1: earlier by a scientist at the U. S. Partment of aarticle.
- 37:03Speaker 1: What happened though people heard pink slime? Confused consumers stop
- 37:07Speaker 1: buying anything that they thought might contain the product the
- 37:10Speaker 1: company's suited saying. ABC News reportedly reports ruined the reputation
- 37:14Speaker 1: of what they said as a perfectly safe food. And
- 37:17Speaker 1: it's not slimy or anything like that, so they can
- 37:21Speaker 1: I eat. I don't know what the lettuce anyway? President Trump. Now,
- 37:29Speaker 1: the first fundraiser of reelection campaign last night the cheapest
- 37:33Speaker 1: ticket with thirty five thousand buccal Rooney's. And today is
- 37:36Speaker 1: National Tapioca Pudding Day and National Body Piercing Day. That's
- 37:41Speaker 1: what I now. Back to the je the butterfly at
- 37:44Speaker 1: the twenty minutes after the hour. You want to stay
- 37:46Speaker 1: tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You know we
- 37:48Speaker 1: come to you every morning, and here we are again
- 37:51Speaker 1: bye bye, everybody you're listening. Steve Harvey. Steve Harvey is
- 37:57Speaker 1: out today. The crew is in as always, and is
- 38:00Speaker 1: that time. Jay Anthony Brown is on you right now.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Jean Baby's volume. Thank you, thank you, I love it.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Good morning everyone, Shirley Color, Junior, jay Zy Brown, every
- 38:28Speaker 1: time me. Oh my god, it is a pleasure to
- 38:30Speaker 1: be here. How ya doing this morning? Good morning baby,
- 38:37Speaker 1: flap on, flap on, brother, Oh my god, Oh my god.
- 38:41Speaker 1: So this is what's going on, because we're getting ready,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I'm getting eyes tuoped up. But the pot with you lack.
- 38:47Speaker 1: So this is what I'm having. I am having a
- 38:51Speaker 1: red white and blue pink party, a red white and
- 38:55Speaker 1: blue pink party, and I want everybody, everybody on this
- 38:59Speaker 1: show to come dressed as a revolutionary South. Okay, all right,
- 39:06Speaker 1: if we're gonna before we eat Bobby, before we eat barbecue,
- 39:08Speaker 1: we're gonna marche around the yard and everybody's gonna have
- 39:11Speaker 1: a real white, blue and big the biggest just my play.
- 39:14Speaker 1: But anyway, um, and you're gonna be like, You're gonna

- 39:23Speaker 1: That's what I want you to do. But you're gonna
- 39:25Speaker 1: have a little um you know the Nickabockers. You know
- 39:28Speaker 1: it's gonna stop at your knee and then you're gonna
- 39:29Speaker 1: have your stocking, your stockings, and you're gonna have a
- 39:32Speaker 1: wig because we're gonna be we get ready to fight.
- 39:34Speaker 1: We're gonna revolutionary jor uh huh. You know I need
- 39:38Speaker 1: a druma boy. What's somebody got to be my drama
- 39:43Speaker 1: take it to be a captain. I get to be
- 39:45Speaker 1: a drummer boy. You're gonna be my drummer boar drama boy. Okay,
- 39:49Speaker 1: but you get to play something different. You don't have
- 39:51Speaker 1: to play nothing, you know, revolutionary or nothing like that.
- 39:53Speaker 1: You can play with you like like some jay z
- 39:55Speaker 1: or so you play something like that. Okay, Shirley and Carlo, y'all,
- 39:59Speaker 1: y'all gonna be throwing confetty and stuff as we walk
- 40:01Speaker 1: across through through the yard, red white and blue confetty
- 40:03Speaker 1: and we're gonna have five works going. I've been stop
- 40:05Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have Roman candle. I'm so excited. So

- 41:38Speaker 1: so we gotta explain because we've only done it one
- 41:40Speaker 1: other time before. Yeah, we've only Yeah, let's okay, it
- 41:45Speaker 1: was very simple. You guys always wanted to test us,
- 41:48Speaker 1: to test out comedy skills. I don't know why you do.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I don't know why we do this every day. We're
- 41:55Speaker 1: so good because it's just that good. So what you
- 41:58Speaker 1: guys gonna be gonna put five subject on the wheel?
- 42:01Speaker 1: You're gonna spin the wheel. We don't know where it's
- 42:04Speaker 1: gonna stop, wherever it stops. Because we're so good. We
- 42:08Speaker 1: don't just riff on that one subject. It too hard.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I don't know the subject. I don't even stay ready
- 42:26Speaker 1: what you got. Let's let's sear the subject with the subject.
- 42:29Speaker 1: You know, I was gonna, okay for to read off
- 42:35Speaker 1: the subjects? Yeah, what's the subject? I don't have them
- 42:38Speaker 1: in front of me. On the wheel. Okay, put them
- 42:42Speaker 1: on the wheel there. Okay, that makes it even more
- 42:45Speaker 1: fun if we put it on the wheel. All right,
- 42:47Speaker 1: Just what's here? Alright? Got him? The subject is I
- 42:52Speaker 1: know y'all can do this. The subject is people who
- 42:55Speaker 1: have one hand smaller than the other. First of all,
- 43:00Speaker 1: it's a shocker. What is wrong we're going first? First
- 43:08Speaker 1: of all, it's a shocker. First of all, if I
- 43:12Speaker 1: look down there and your hands are not matching, I
- 43:16Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know what you've been doing. The
- 43:21Speaker 1: one thing I found out, people with one hand that's
- 43:23Speaker 1: smaller than others. They're good for getting changed at the
- 43:26Speaker 1: quarter of couches. They can get in there and grab
- 43:30Speaker 1: whatever's down there. Just find somebody, anybody hands dollars then
- 43:34Speaker 1: the other. Please get that here and get this change. Tommy,
- 43:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this. I'm gonna say this, and you
- 43:43Speaker 1: are probably one hundred percent all man, You probably are.
- 43:48Speaker 1: But what you can't be is my right hand man.
- 43:51Speaker 1: That's what not. You're not gonna be my right hand man.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Not with that hand you're not. Not only is the
- 44:06Speaker 1: hand small, but it's the first hand they put out
- 44:11Speaker 1: like they got another perfectly nice size hand out that
- 44:15Speaker 1: they never that they never greets you with what isn't
- 44:20Speaker 1: And here's the thing, it's always kind of mortis. I
- 44:24Speaker 1: don't know little hands. I don't know why I say
- 44:32Speaker 1: that either, Jay, you know the people with small hands
- 44:34Speaker 1: always asking for stuff like hand me that piece of paper.
- 44:41Speaker 1: The first thing you think of his hand. I've seen
- 44:45Speaker 1: him so small, tommy small. Okay, they got the one
- 44:49Speaker 1: big hand and since the other hand is small, they
- 44:53Speaker 1: have a small watch on the small you know, Okay,
- 45:01Speaker 1: let me try. I don't I don't have a problem
- 45:03Speaker 1: with you writing to me or writing a note to me,
- 45:06Speaker 1: but when you're write it in short hand, I can't.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I can't get you understand. You can't write to me
- 45:12Speaker 1: in short hand. I don't read short hand right though,
- 45:18Speaker 1: with that hand, because I don't like, I ain't like
- 45:23Speaker 1: hugging people with little hand. One hand. They put that
- 45:28Speaker 1: hand they wrap around the back and they put that
- 45:30Speaker 1: hand in the center of your back like a baby
- 45:33Speaker 1: pushing you that. Yeah, And it's just a little bitter
- 45:41Speaker 1: than a chicken foot, not really that little. Yes. In fact,
- 45:49Speaker 1: a chicken foot has more meat on You don't want
- 45:53Speaker 1: you know what you know? You are the real reason
- 45:56Speaker 1: they say, don't let the left hand know what the
- 45:58Speaker 1: right You're the reason why they put it out there
- 46:04Speaker 1: in the Bible. Right, don't never let the lift hand
- 46:09Speaker 1: the right hand. Alright, alright, good job, guys, great job.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I think I never tell me frank phone call coming
- 46:20Speaker 1: up next. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:24Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 46:26Speaker 1: It's the Strawberry Letter. About four minutes after the hour,
- 46:29Speaker 1: so get ready. The subject for today is keeping it
- 46:33Speaker 1: in the family. Keeping it in the family, all right,
- 46:37Speaker 1: But up next the prank phone call. Come on, nephew,
- 46:40Speaker 1: what do you have on the menu for us today?
- 46:43Speaker 1: It don't stop. Shirley Weed in the church, Van Weed
- 46:51Speaker 1: in the church, vain so you can join. What are
- 46:59Speaker 1: you saying. I'm just in the church and we're not
- 47:05Speaker 1: gonna have it. We're not gonna have it. Hello, I'm
- 47:13Speaker 1: trying to reach Dann Brother brother Dan. Hello, Hello, because
- 47:17Speaker 1: i'll TV that I'm trying to brother Dad, brother Dan. Okay, Yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 1: this brother Scott from your church and Belt the Baptist. Hello, brother, Yeah,
- 47:29Speaker 1: I call you. I'm I'm trying to get a little
- 47:31Speaker 1: information about the church man, and what's what's your schedule? Uh?
- 47:35Speaker 1: Would you drive the church and what's what's your schedule?
- 47:39Speaker 1: I drove it Wednesday, Fridays and Sunday. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 47:47Speaker 1: Now Sunday. What what is that sketch O Sunday. I
- 47:51Speaker 1: usually thought about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a
- 47:54Speaker 1: little earlier, depending on some of the elderly people that
- 47:57Speaker 1: I had to go pick up and bring to the church,
- 48:00Speaker 1: make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
- 48:03Speaker 1: make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot, Okay,
- 48:07Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after services over. Yes,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 48:13Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 48:15Speaker 1: and meet him up there and want to take them
- 48:16Speaker 1: to them or something afterwards. But I usually get everybody
- 48:19Speaker 1: back home, okay. Okay. Now this class Sunday, which is
- 48:25Speaker 1: part of the reason why I'm calling. Uh. They're saying
- 48:29Speaker 1: that some of the church uh members that was on
- 48:32Speaker 1: the van this Sunday. Uh, they are complaining saying that
- 48:39Speaker 1: that the church van was smelllling like weed when they
- 48:41Speaker 1: got on there. Excuse me, they say the church van
- 48:47Speaker 1: were spending like weed when they got on there and
- 48:49Speaker 1: you are the person that was driving them. No no, no no, no,
- 48:53Speaker 1: no no no not not not the van that then
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm drying. I'm so, I don't know. I don't know.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I ain't smoke weed and novel h do you smoke weeds?
- 49:04Speaker 1: I don't smoke weeds, I mean not currently. I mean
- 49:07Speaker 1: I have before, but I don't smoke weed now and
- 49:09Speaker 1: I wouldn't smoke weeds before picking some people up to go.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Now where you from? Who told you this? Well? All
- 49:19Speaker 1: I know is what what? What's coming down the pipeline?
- 49:21Speaker 1: And they're saying that that A couple of them members
- 49:24Speaker 1: came complaining this just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 49:31Speaker 1: last week they came at me talking about that. I
- 49:34Speaker 1: I was using the van to go places that I
- 49:36Speaker 1: wanted to go to on my personal time. Now I
- 49:38Speaker 1: don't do that. I don't do stuff like that. Now.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I have had a path, I haven't had a history,
- 49:42Speaker 1: but I don't do stuff like that. And I wouldn't
- 49:44Speaker 1: smoke No church fan, So are you seriously talking? What? What? What? What? What?
- 49:50Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 49:51Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. The
- 49:55Speaker 1: Sutherly person said, do you know which one? I don't
- 49:59Speaker 1: love me? Every Sunday then people tell me they love me. Uh,
- 50:02Speaker 1: they say, I'm one of the most respectful young gentleman
- 50:04Speaker 1: they've ever met in their life. And so I really
- 50:06Speaker 1: find it hard to believe that you you getting these
- 50:09Speaker 1: type of complaints about me, one of them saying smell
- 50:13Speaker 1: like who we I don't know what that means or
- 50:14Speaker 1: nothing like that. Look, brothers, I don't know you too well,
- 50:18Speaker 1: and I know you don't know me. But I've been
- 50:21Speaker 1: driving this van as as as a point to try
- 50:23Speaker 1: to change my life and where I come from. So
- 50:26Speaker 1: this was was something that I wanted to volunteer even
- 50:28Speaker 1: though I'm getting paid to give my time to do
- 50:30Speaker 1: this for the church. And now this is like the
- 50:33Speaker 1: second instance where y'all and came at me on some
- 50:35Speaker 1: stuff about like I'm trying to do something with this van. Now,
- 50:38Speaker 1: why would I disrestake the church van by smoking weed
- 50:41Speaker 1: in it and then letting the weeds stay in there
- 50:43Speaker 1: so other people could smell it? Okay, so let me
- 50:45Speaker 1: tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna go out
- 50:48Speaker 1: here to the church. They had to say, we're gonna
- 50:50Speaker 1: go out here today and open it up, like if
- 50:52Speaker 1: we see any seeds or anything around the driver's seat,
- 50:57Speaker 1: then then then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh
- 51:01Speaker 1: point open the van up. Man. I was raised in
- 51:03Speaker 1: that church. Man, My mama go to that church, my grandma.
- 51:06Speaker 1: See you go to that church. See the reason we
- 51:08Speaker 1: even all left that church. And you think I'm gonna
- 51:10Speaker 1: mess up, they ain't. By driving around in the band
- 51:13Speaker 1: full of elderly people smoking and I don't know how
- 51:19Speaker 1: to band smell like weed. Man, Now I don't. I
- 51:22Speaker 1: don't got the answers to these questions. I'm just trying
- 51:25Speaker 1: to tell you that it wasn't me. Did you have
- 51:27Speaker 1: some weed in your pocket? And with your sing? I
- 51:30Speaker 1: ain't had no weed on me. Stop trying to say
- 51:32Speaker 1: like I had weed on me and you ain't gonna
- 51:34Speaker 1: get me nothing that I had and we ain't had
- 51:36Speaker 1: no weed on me. Okay, Now, you ain't gonna miss
- 51:38Speaker 1: up my name or my family's name in this church
- 51:41Speaker 1: and disrespect us like this. Now, we've been helping this
- 51:44Speaker 1: church for years and I'm trying to tell you that
- 51:46Speaker 1: I ain't riding around and no fans smoking no weed
- 51:48Speaker 1: with no elderly people. Did you ask any of the
- 51:50Speaker 1: elderly people if they had any weed on them? Uh? No, no, no,
- 51:57Speaker 1: I didn't think about no elderly people having no weed.
- 52:00Speaker 1: So you assume it's me what one of them got?
- 52:03Speaker 1: Got coma something? What? What? What you know? What? You know? Who?
- 52:07Speaker 1: I think? What? Did you know? Who I think the
- 52:08Speaker 1: weed belonged to? Oh? I think I think the weed
- 52:12Speaker 1: along and nephew time from the Steve Harvey this show.
- 52:17Speaker 1: What damn you just got prink? Oh my god, you
- 52:28Speaker 1: just got preak. What is just? His name is brother? Uh?
- 52:32Speaker 1: Brother Lawrence? Lawrence laws Oh Larry called her Larry, but
- 52:42Speaker 1: law Larry Ry in trouble with me? Hit him with
- 52:51Speaker 1: the man. I got one more thing that I got
- 52:57Speaker 1: one more thing to ask you, man, what is saddest
- 53:00Speaker 1: and I mean the saddest radio show in the lands? Man, Steve,
- 53:10Speaker 1: come on, come on? Not geting to him that? Yeah,
- 53:16Speaker 1: won't he do it? Yeah? Yeah? Did you ever if

- 55:30Speaker 1: call it call what you know what? Call? I may
- 55:33Speaker 1: impress you one day. It's been years when all right,
- 55:44Speaker 1: this strawberry letter is coming up. Next to the subject
- 55:47Speaker 1: is keeping it in the family, Keeping it in the family,
- 55:51Speaker 1: that's the subject. I like that it sounds. Yeah, this
- 55:55Speaker 1: is a letter I think you will like. Nephew keeping
- 55:57Speaker 1: it in the family. It's deep. Yeah, it's it's kind
- 56:03Speaker 1: of deep. Yeah, all right, we'll be back keeping it
- 56:06Speaker 1: in the family. Uh, that's the subject of the strawberry letter.
- 56:10Speaker 1: We will be back. Thank you very much. You're listening, Steve. Alright,
- 56:18Speaker 1: it's that time. Let's buckle up, let's hold on tight.
- 56:20Speaker 1: We got it for your strawberry letter. Yes, we do, nephew,
- 56:24Speaker 1: subjects keeping it in the family. Dear Stephen Shirley, please
- 56:29Speaker 1: help me what I want to do may cause turmoil
- 56:32Speaker 1: within the family. Here's the situation. A young lady and
- 56:36Speaker 1: I have a crush on each other, but she used
- 56:39Speaker 1: to be married to someone that was related to me
- 56:42Speaker 1: by marriage. She used to be married to my stepfather
- 56:45Speaker 1: and get follow along with this, okay, she used to
- 56:48Speaker 1: be married to my stepfather's sister's son. Got it. Her
- 56:54Speaker 1: husband is deceased. Now. Before her husband died, we had
- 56:58Speaker 1: only seen each other three times. After the third time,
- 57:01Speaker 1: we realized we had a connection, so we kept in touch.
- 57:05Speaker 1: We only texted each other on special occasions and holidays
- 57:08Speaker 1: back then. Now we text more frequently and we enjoy
- 57:12Speaker 1: each other's company. We know that we are not related,
- 57:15Speaker 1: but out of respect for the family, we want to
- 57:17Speaker 1: do the right thing. She keeps trying to hide her feelings,
- 57:21Speaker 1: but I can tell she feels how she feels about me.
- 57:24Speaker 1: She also encouraged me to write this letter to you
- 57:27Speaker 1: for your opinion. So should we move on with our
- 57:32Speaker 1: lives or can we pursue a relationship to see what happens.
- 57:36Speaker 1: We really need your help with this to to prevent
- 57:39Speaker 1: a disaster. Do you think it would cause a major
- 57:41Speaker 1: problem within our family? Please advise you're right, Uh yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 1: I think it just might cause some turmoil in the family,
- 57:50Speaker 1: a major problem. As you put it. It might raise
- 57:52Speaker 1: a few eyebrows. It might cause a few of your
- 57:55Speaker 1: cousins just to side eye you with their hands on
- 57:58Speaker 1: their hips. But it's not like you're being disrespectful to
- 58:02Speaker 1: anyone here. The husband is deceased and he was not
- 58:06Speaker 1: related to you at all. This is so far down
- 58:10Speaker 1: the line, this situation. He was not he he was.
- 58:13Speaker 1: This is what he was, Your stepfather's sister's son. You
- 58:17Speaker 1: all are not related at all. So you need to
- 58:20Speaker 1: really decide together if you want to beat with each other.
- 58:24Speaker 1: If you're feeling it, go for it. Get your relationship tight,
- 58:28Speaker 1: figure out what you're gonna say to people, and all
- 58:30Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. You know, if you choose to
- 58:33Speaker 1: do that, then you know, after your relationship is tied,
- 58:35Speaker 1: you've got the friendship going and everything, then you can
- 58:38Speaker 1: start slowly showing up to family reunions. But you know,
- 58:41Speaker 1: it still might make them a little uncomfortable, but I
- 58:45Speaker 1: think eventually they'll come around. Jay No no no no
- 58:50Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no no no
- 58:52Speaker 1: no no no. We did a bit earlier about people
- 58:56Speaker 1: who have one hand smaller then the other. And the
- 59:01Speaker 1: reason this happens is because people in the family get together.
- 59:06Speaker 1: And this is what happens. This is how the kids
- 59:08Speaker 1: come out while you got one foot facing the front
- 59:12Speaker 1: and the other foot going to the back of you.
- 59:15Speaker 1: When when that's they are, yes, there are This is
- 59:18Speaker 1: not to be played with, Charley. This is why you
- 59:20Speaker 1: have kids whose eyes are totally crossed, you know what
- 59:23Speaker 1: I mean. They can watch the party for you because
- 59:26Speaker 1: they got cross This is why you had these kids
- 59:29Speaker 1: with the big water here related. This is why you
- 59:34Speaker 1: had the kids with one ear bigger than the other year.
- 59:38Speaker 1: But they can't hear damn fact. All right, don't do
- 59:41Speaker 1: not do not play with us, all right, don't minx
- 59:45Speaker 1: these jeans up. Leave it alone. I'm telling you. You've
- 59:49Speaker 1: been warn you've been one a thank you. They're not related. Okay,
- 59:55Speaker 1: come on, if we ain't related, we doing it you
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: hear me. Let me tell you something. It's all right
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to be with your step aunties, cousins, baby dadd and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: nephew needs to adopted sister. It's all right. It's all
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: right to be with your step aunties. Cousins, baby dad
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: is nephews needs adopted sister. Ain't nothing wrong with it.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I have been through this before. I was with my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: uncle's second wife's daughter in law's twin sisters cousin. We
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: dated for six months and did the family have mixed emotions? Yames,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: But that's all right, love who loved you? Let me
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: tell you something. After your second cousin, everybody is open game.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Do you hear me? Do you hear me? You can't
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: be a superfine, drop dead gorgeous third cousins. I'm marrying you. Yes,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I won't you in my life. Yes, to hell with
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the family. Will deal with it at the family. Yeah,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I married my third cousin. I don't know about half
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: third causer, dude, dudy't what's your who? Your third cousin?
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Call him? You don't even have a real name. Already
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: used again. I dated my uncle's second wife's daughter in
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: law's twin sisters cousin. That's who I dated. To Mika,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Yes I did. I dated my uncle's second wife's daughter
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: in law's twin sisters cousin. My name was to Maka.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Yes I did, and it was the greatest stay together.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Oh no, you know it just it got it was
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I don't know, complicated, complicated, complicated. That's that's what I'm
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: trying to say. Complicated strong. You gotta be strong, like yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you got all right? Come on, young one in the
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: group keeping it in the fan, tell you what this
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: one line that got me? He said. She said, uh,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: she used to be married to my stepfather sister son.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Her husband is deceased now before the hood that we
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: had only seen each other three times. What do you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: think killed him? What do you think killed the man?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: She said it Now, we had only seen each other
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: before her husband dad, We had only seen each other
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: three times. What you think killed the husband? And it's
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: always in threes to always killed They was folding around
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: for they had to be food around for that. Yeah,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: that's what killed him. When he found out it was
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: who wasn't Timm, who was it was? It was, uh,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: your stealth auntie's cousin's baby and dad is nephew's niece
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: adopted Suster. Now, when he walked in the room and
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: saw him, that's what killed him, said, I'll be damn.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: It's my brother's cousins. Third whatever, people are not related related,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: not related? Why was he at the funeral crying harder

- 1:04:03Speaker 1: We have some more on this letter. It's called keeping
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: It in the family. Will be back all right, you're
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: listening to the Steve har al right here we are
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: back on this strawberry letter. Part two subjects keeping it
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: in the family. Uh, this was written by a young man.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I'm assuming he said what he wanted to do may
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: cause some turmoil within the family. Uh. He and this
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: young lady have a crush on each other. But the
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: problem is she she used to be married, the young lady,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: to someone that was related to him by marriage. You
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: hear that Jay related to him by marriage no blood,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: no blood. She used to be married to his stepfather's
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: sister's son. Her husband is deceased. Now, okay, the stepfather's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: sister's son that was her husband, he's no longer living.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Before her husband died, they had seen each other three times.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: After the third time they realized they had a connection,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: so we kept in touch. He says. They only texted
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: each other on special occasions and holidays back then. Now
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: they text more frequently and they enjoy each other's company.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: We know that they're not related, but out of respect
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: for the family, they still have respect for the family.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: They want to do the right thing. She keeps trying
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to hide her feelings, he says, but I can tell
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: how she feels about me. She also encouraged me to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: write this letter because she wanted our opinions. So should
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: we move on with our lives or can be you
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: need to go? And then I love it. It's not
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: her brother, it's her stepfather sisters being wrong. If cousin hugging,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: they're trying to fix her life. Carl trying to hug him.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Hug him tight, hug him with the love that you have. Brad,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: kiss your stepbrother, cousin, kiss him stepfather's sister's marriage, a
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: second cousin, go out ahead. But growing up, didn't you
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: always have a crush on your cousin? Tell you everybody
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: had a crush on there. Everybody did, but you know
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: not You knew not to cross that line because wasn't
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I would have asked that. She'd said, go look at
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: your second cousin. You think they intimate. Well, let's see.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: She keeps trying to hut her feelings. But I can
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: tell how she feels about me. Um, I think they're
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: hand any guinea. They've already done that. They didn't done it.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: What are you talking about? But but out of respect
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: were the family. They want to do the right thing.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I can only go by when they did it. They
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: doing the right thing that time. I'm tima. He had
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: candless rolls, pedals, all that lights low, and she walked
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: in the room and family reunion was playing each other
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: special occasions, and they should do it again, and do
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: it again, do it again. Now they're texting more frequently. Well,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you could get something out of and now we enjoy
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: each other's company. Yeah, don't say nothing to me when
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: your kids have to wear baseball caps on. They're not related, Jay,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: there's no blood. There's no blood between them. Okay, there's
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: no blood. Don't don't have no kids, don't have no children,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: not related, and tell me you did it before, so stop.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: He got away with it. I'm go said again. It
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: was my uncle's second wife's daughter. In law's twin, sister's cousin. Okay,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I think that's a pretty good distance away. Shirley all right,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: and so is this? Okay? So is this? We're moving on, guys,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: go to Instagram with your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter

- 1:10:45Speaker 1: trying to do something viral. Yet you ain't heard about that.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Don't do that. Look, look, the only viral videos we
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: like to see when you burn your house down trying
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: to barbecue. Now, those aren't hilarious. At fourth of July,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: when somebody has messed up the potato salad, that's hilarious.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Harm when somebody finds out you have par boar the ribs,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: that is hilarious. Thank you. That's blasphemous. When you try

- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I was a stun All right, thank you, Cheryl. We
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: got to get out of here. You're listening to the
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, coming up at the
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: top of the hour. It's Carlo's Reality Update. But right now, next,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: you tell me. We've been talking about this all morning.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: What is your issue? What's your problem? In a nursery rhymes?
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: So I've been doing nursury rhyme with my son, okay,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: you know, Jordan six years old. So we read nursery
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: rhymes and it bothers me because all these nursery rames,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: every last one of them, just bad relationships. That's all
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: they all. Every every nursing rame is a bad relationship,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: every single one of them. I don't care how you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: look at. When I get through reading, I was like that,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: ain't that but just a bad related relationship? Okay, first
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: of all, let me just say this, what you stupid
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: with you? I'm gonna play along with you. I got playing,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I'm serious. Okay, all right, well then Tommy, okay, how
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: about the story of gold locks into three bands? An example? Okay,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: go ahead, what's the story story? You know where the
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: three bears who weren't bothering nobody? Okay, they left the
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: house real quick. Okay, this one with a little white
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: girl shows up and breaks into their house, messes up stuff,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: eats their food, and then falls asleep. Okay, So so
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: stop right there. You don't see a relationship in this story.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I don't see that. How do you see what you see? Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you don't see that. This ain't nothing but the ex
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: coming by her ex boyfriend house. You don't see that.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. What did she do? She
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: ate up everything? Where was she when everybody walked in
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: the house? Well, sleep, sleep in the bed. That's what
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: an X will do to you. Soon as you walk
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: in the house, she had found herself back in the bed.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: And here you come in the door with another woman.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: That's how it goes down. This ain't nothing but the relationship,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: because guess what the ex know how to do? Ex no,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: how you see, know how to get past security and
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: everything and getting your house, laying your bed and wait
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: on you. That's what the ex can do. Three bears
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: ain't nothing but a damn relationship that the went bad. Ignorant,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: that's right here. I don't know how y'all don't see it? Right?
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Can we bring the music down just that little bit? Yes? Yeah,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I can't what you call you? You? Okay? Your little girl,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: little old Now she probably ain't in the nurse you rap,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: But didn't you used to read them to him? Yes,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: of course, Okay, you didn't see none of this. I
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: see No, I don't, I don't see none of that.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Come on, all right, okay, how about how about it?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: How about three You don't see him on the three
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: pe You know what I mean? Really really really are
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: reaching right here? What's the issue with three pigs? One
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: of y'all an't one of y'all three pig stories? The
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: pigs they had they build a house, and and every
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: night when they build a house, the wolf would come
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: along and huff and puff, and he blow the house down.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: And the story that's one of the stories of the
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: three pigs. And you don't tell us that's a bad RelA,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: that's relationship gone bad. Here's what's been going on all
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: these years. Here's what being Don't none of y'all, none
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: of y'all know nothing about the three peg do you?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Y'all have been, but y'all been siding with these three
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: pigs since you heard this story. Y'all have made the
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: three pigs the good people in this thing? Am I right?
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I'm Terry, Listen to me, Listen to me. This is
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: nothing but a relationship gone bad. If y'all don't even
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: know them pigs name y'all done names, yes, Willy and
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Willing the third, You Willing and Willing the third. These
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: ain't your average pigs. They let me tell you something.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: They all lived together, houses, side by side, right a wrong? Right? Okay?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Why would a wolf just show up at their house?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: You know why? You want to know why? Because these
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: three pigs been messing with the wolves. Old lady for
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the longest she was she was into that kind of thing,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you know, that swinging, thanks into that. So he showed up.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: He was upset, he got tired of it. And what
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: he do He blew all the house and down. That's
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: what's just about, oh man, Tommy, the fact that y'all
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: don't look past the pictures. So y'all looking at pictures
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and little skid pig behind the straw and any one.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: But then y'all wind up in the brick house. I'll
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: come in. Stop stop ahead, if you can do this one, okay,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: this one. This one is a nursery rhyme. Okay, remember
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: this one. There was an old lady who lived in
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: a shoe. Okay, I'm no, there wasn't old lady who
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: lived in a shoe. Go ahead, Yeah, okay, she had
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: so many kids, remember that she didn't know what to do.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Say that part again, she had so many kids, she
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: didn't know what to do. Now, bunch of relationship, Man,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I don't know what. I'm gonna stop you. I'm gonna
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: drop the mic right there. That don't mean no exper
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: You got kids coming all out the side of the ship.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: You got kids coming out of the soul and the
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: heal the tower that you what don't want to get
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: out of these kids from that's nineteen relationships right there. Yeah,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: you see that all out the shoelations, just kids just
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: hanging out all on the thread. What do we talk?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: We're gonna feed all these kids. This is relationship. This
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: ain't This is y'all support. You don't see baby mama,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: baby mama drama. Going to agree with him. I'm really

- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Junior and Junior next week. Next week, I'm tell you
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: about the Instibents and Spider. Wait, all right, just hang
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: on and hang on hand when he's right with Reality
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Update with Carlo Carlos. Reality Update coming up. You're listening
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to the Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, now it's time, nephew,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: let's go, let's go here it is Buckle up, hold tight,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: it's that time. Reality Update. Alright, nephew, I heard that.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Alright, crew,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: here we go, loving hip hop. It's up. Let's go,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Shirley girl. All right. So you brought Kirk Lawyered up
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: to fulfill his promise that he made to his wife
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Rashida to get a DNA test to find out if
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: he is the father of Jasmine's baby and the family
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: they went on the like a little getaway, and Kirk
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: told his wife that he is doing what he needs
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: to do to protect his family. So just in case
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: his alleged baby mama, Jasmine goes after their assets, Kirk
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: hands his wife paperwork saying that he would give her
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: everything is she wants a divorce and he's doing, yeah,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: you're thin air everything but disrespectful to his mother, to
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: her mother, Yes, because you know Ms. Charlene Rashida's mom,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: she is so sick of her son in law. She's
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: so sick of Kirk hurting her daughter. She is not
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: having it. She wants Kirk to take this DNA test
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: once and for all. Then you know, it's kind of
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: a heating exchange. He's so tired of mister len All
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: in the business. And then they in this particular scene,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: they kind of showed this promo for next week's show
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: where Kirk is standing there saying, I'm tired of love
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: and hip hop tearing up my family, like it's the
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: show's fault. You cheated, really, yeah, you cheated when you
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: was in that stream on the once. Yeah. I was like,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you need to really stop, Kirk. So, I don't know
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: why they make it a big fuss out this DNA tests.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Just bring up by my grandmother's house. We'll let you
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: know in five minutes. Just let us your grandmother did that.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: You know, old people look at babies and tell you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: right now that baby yours and that they already to
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: know that ain't in. But we'll see next week. I
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: think they will reveal the d n A results and
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: you're right doing you're talking about dragging it out. Yes, yes, surely.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Stevie Jay's daughter, Savannah and I remember, you know, Stevie
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Jay's daughter, they had an issue with Joscelyn, and so
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Savannah met with Mimi and told Mimi about Joscelyn's whack
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: apology and how Joscelyn was trying to be the victim
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: during her apology. It was just really really whack. And uh,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: MEMI met with Stevie J. And she told him that,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you know, she does not want Jocelyn around her daughter Eva.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: And Jocelyn wants to get back together with Stevie J.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: And she wants to get married. But Stevie J. Yeah,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: he kind of he lied to me me and said
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: that Jocelyn wants to apologize to everybody and that, uh,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: they're just gonna be friends. So he is lying to
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Mimi about Joscelyn's what her wish is are, on what
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: she wants to do. Mimi wants a protective order against
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Jocelyn and she can't get it unless Eva, their daughter,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: has been physically hurt by Joscelyn. So these people forget
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: that they're filming. I don't think they can. They forget
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: the cameras are there. Okay, yeah, yeah, you know thinks anymore.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't either, because she's, yeah, she's
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: running a loge. She's not coming correct nothing. No, no,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you're not gonna get me to go down this street
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: with you anyway. Yeah, so we'll see. I think Mimi
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: bottom line, she thinks that Joscelyn is a bad influence
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: period and she doesn't want a daughter around. And I'm
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: not mad at Mimi for that. Let's move on Basketball Wives,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: John Her Basketball Wives is back, yeah, and why it's back?
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: But why? But anyway, Tammy invited the ladies on a
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: trip to New York City and then Evelyn she took
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: her girl, Shawny back down memory lane. They was visiting
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the Bronx and then Jackie and Evelyn, Jackie, Christie and
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Evelyn they have been beating, beefing, and so things got heated.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Evelyn told Jacqueline not to call her the B word
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: in front of her daughter, and Jackie apologized, and then
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: she wanted Evelyn apologize to her. Jackie went off and
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: told Evelyn that she's a non factor, and you know,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Evelyn made that line famous, and then that set Evelyn
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: off along with other things. Yes she did, Yes she did.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: She went in Evelyn kicked off her shoes, Jay, and
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: tried to charge at Jackie. And it's like here we
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: go again, at me, but don't hold me that. Yeah,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: let me go. They're they're too old for this. They're
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: a way too old all of that. But I love
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Jackie's crazy, Carly. Jackie is crazy. Yeah, And surely Evelyn
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: let Jackie push her, but she let her take her Yea. Yeah,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: she took the bait and took the bait from Jackie.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: When people know that you can you get round easy,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: they use it against you. They really do. Man. Well,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you know, Jake, it's crazy Evelyn. You know she had
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: this new image about her. She's working on that new
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: image of not going there and being more good. Yeah.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: And she was on Fix My Life with ian La.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Remember she had show on own, so she was trying
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to turn over a new leaf and have a different attitude.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: But with them, turn your leaf back over, you know what, Jake,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Don't go there with them, don't z And my final question,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I wanted to bring this up to you guys. It's
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: not a reality show, but it is about the b
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: ET Awards. Now taking a cue from his hit song
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: mask Off. You know Future Future. Okay, so you saw
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: the performance Future and his daughter. You know, they had
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: these very expensive crystal mask They said they cost a
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: fortune to make. They were about what about nine thousand
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: dollars for all three of these mad dollars. Yeah, they
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: were very expensive masks. But you ain't got to depend
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: on that question. Ask my question, do you think it
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: was appropriate for Future's daughter to wear that mask because
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: of the lyrical content of the song mask I think
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: it was appropriate to make a thousand dollar for that. Well,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: hit me up on Instagram or Twitter at lips by
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: Carla and answer that question. Do you think it was
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: appropriate for futures daughter her name was London to wear
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: the mask during his performance of mask Off because of
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: the lyrical content of the show. And that's reality. Update
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: will be back at twenty after you're listening to the
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go. This
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: is a brand new survey today, uh from survey Monkey. Yeah. Yeah, anyway,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: survey Monkey pole revealed that sixty five sixty of married
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: adult no there's spouses social media passwords? Oh I believe that. Yeah.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: Other results of the survey of the survey monkey Pole
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: show that fifty eight percent of married couples say they
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: share the household chores. Equally nocent say children are not
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: necessary for a happy and complete marriage. I believe that.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: I kind of I believe that too. And twenty percent
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: said the thing they most commonly argue about is everyone
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: ready for this one. Let's go around the room. What
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: do you think it is? I would say money, money,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: carla um finance, Yeah, money, or maybe it's Tommy, can
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: I change paying for sitch? Money? Guys, It's funny, that's
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: what they most commonly. I used to love. Every woman
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: does this. You know, you guys know this. I'm this
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: is not a secret that I'm revealing from the sisterhood.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: But every woman loves shoes, and they buy shoes and
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: they keep him in the trunk and then they bring
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: them in when their husband's not looking. And when they
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: wear them and their husband said, oh those new shoes. No, no,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: I've been had these just to make him feel comfortable.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Sex happens. It comes back around. You know. You know, hey,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: you got new shoes. You old meet up exactly and
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: it doesn't even matter if you bought him with your
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: own money that you worked hard for. Yeah, we always
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: have to lie about that. Crazy. Have you seen that
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: commercial with the guys driving and everybody's got their headphones on? Yeah,
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: even commercial, it's a great commercial. Yeah. So yeah, I
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: think that it's it's it's social media. Uh. Money, we
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: know more about each other than the other person thinks that.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: You know, I know, I know what you're doing. Yeah.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: But the number one thing they argue about money. I
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: can see that. I can see that. Yeah. And money
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: can stop an argument here, just be glad to take
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: some money. They can stop and start the route to
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: all whole of the evil. The love of money is
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: in the Bible, is all right? A stretch of Los
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Angeles Roadway, This is really good news. Here, a stretch
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: of Los Angeles Roadway will soon bear the name of
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: our forty fourth president, really the one we all love.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: The The l A City Council yesterday unanimously approved a
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: plan to rename a three and a half mile stretch
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: of Rodeo Road in southwest l A to Obama Boulevard.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: Area is known for its President's Row, series of streets
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: named after former presidents, including Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Boulevards that
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Obama began his career in Los Angeles. Odell Obama. Yeah,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: I love that. I love that is congratulations. All right,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: coming up, we'll find out where Carla and where Junior

- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Michelle who show? Yeah? How you doing? Yeah? First, what
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: voices that? Yes, we know the first Lady of Essence. Yes,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: but I no, no, no, no, no, no, soon I
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: get off hitting that way ten seconds. I gotta go ya.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: Don't do what you do. I'm doing me to wrap
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: up the show. Just one more thing. You're listening to
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: the Steve Show. All right here we are last break
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: of the day. This morning went by fast. Uh, it
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: really went by. We have time for just one more thing. Um,
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: all right, this is this story right here is crazy too.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: A White House reporter named Brian Carram got into a
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: heated exchange. These reporters man their tempers with Deputy Press
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders the other day over what he said, Yeah,
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: over what he says as President Trump's ongoing efforts to
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: undermine the press. The tipping point came when Sanders criticized
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: CNN and the press as a whole for ignoring positive
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: stories about President Trump and instead perpetuating what the administration
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: calls fake news. Karen lashed out at Sanders, saying, you're
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: inflaming everyone right now with those words. Karen said the
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: confrontation was a long time coming, and he reached a
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: point when he had to take a stand. He says
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: she took the opportunity, first thing off the bed to
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: go after the media. She was trying to go after
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: cn CNN specifically and the media in general. We've been
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: called the enemy of the people from that White House.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: We've been told that we're fake news. We are bullied
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: and broadbeaten every day, and I pretty much have had
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: enough of it. We can't take the bullying anymore. It's
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: undermining the Fourth Estate, it's undermining the First Amendment. Was
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: a reporter out of line for lashing out at Sanders?
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: Do you think should the other reporters have done more
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: to support him? That's interesting. They just lot all the
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: time and got to defend, cover it up, or fix
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: the And that's why Sean Spicer has such a tough job,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: and that's why they stopped sing it on television. Just
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: doing the audio now now that's the White House press briefings. Yeah,
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: they just show audio now. So will the press be
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: invited back? Why? Why can't the people know be in
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: the room. I don't understand that. It's called freedom of
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: the press for a reason. They have access to you
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: as president, the American people, that's yeah, to know what's
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: going on, and the press is the one that delivers.
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: They did a story that he has lied every day
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: for the first forty five change, that he was real.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Well man, that's right there, that is really really that
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: reporter will not be invited back? No, no, no standing up? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: Brian caram is his name. He said he was up man.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: Because they're not allowing them to do their job. Everything
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: is fake news unless they say it right exactly. And
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: then it didn't help. CNN got into some trouble, did
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: the right thing. They fired the people, and you know,
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: they took sorry all about some they did make up something,
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: made up some stories. But it was high but the reporters,
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: it was Yeah, it was high up in the editorial department, right,
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: Like it's a problem when Nate when somebody else lies,
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: not them, not them. But it was at a time
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: when President Trump is you know, it's a win for him. Yeah,
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: you know what incredibility. I don't like calling the president.
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna just calling forty five. A lot of people say, Thatt, Wow,
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: he's just a barrel of laughs. Man, I just I
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: just never seen a president. It's funny. Man, it's time
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: in my life. And that's why it's so hard for
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: me to watch House of Cards right now. And I
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: love love House of Cards, love it. It's the same thing. Yeah,
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: but it's like I'm double watching. It's like, yeah, I'm
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: watching the White houseman's going on and and then you
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: go it's too much because truth, Yeah, yeah, it's too much.
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: Been a better president, yeah, oh he would have for sure.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: This president doesn't have a clue on nothing. You don't
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: know nothing. Healthcare, taxes, it doesn't matter nothing. All we
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: know is it's going great, folks, it's going great. A
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: lot of great ideasaks and those um superlatives, you know, fantastic.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: Great's gonna be great. Yeah, Like people are out here
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: defending you and you're going against the tweets. The president
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: is not under investigation. Let me repeat, He's not. I'm
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: under investigation. This is a wee an investigations. You know,
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: I'm making my business. It's it's his You respect the
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: office of presidents. I mean, this is the man who
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: runs our country. But he makes it so hard. He
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: really makes it hard. You know, he won't listen to anyone.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: You can the president. You cannot go out there and said,
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it right now, tweet and then I'm
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: going on a campaign trip man, and have my you know,
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: my my loyalists come out and and and gass me up,
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna go back in there. You know,
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: what are the business hours over at the White House.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: We know he's up at night because he's tweeting like
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: you know that, But in the morning he does look glad.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: He needs a nap. He had no idea what he
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: was getting himself into. He had no idea. He didn't
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: know he was gonna win. Yeah, oh yeah, everyone was
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: shocked by that. Everyone he does have that looked like
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: I got to be president every day. Yeah, remember that.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: You gotta do the work, absolutely, Carla absolutely governed the people.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: You have to do. And that's what I want to see.
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: When does that happen in all of these scandals and headlines.
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: It's like, we governor has a great follow the money,
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: follow the money to find out what Trump is. She
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: always says that that movie The Candidate with Robert Redford,
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: Robert Redford when he ran. You know, he was a
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: good looking guy. He ran for a Senate position, I believe,
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: but he wanted no idea, what was going on, no idea.
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: He was clueless, But he won. He got in that
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: car and that limo after he won. What the heck
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: do we do? Now? Say all the time. It's like
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: people who heckle you, they think it's easy. And Steve
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: will say, well, come on up here, Lucy, what you
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: got No, No, I don't think he wanted your job anyway.
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: I wanted the title. Yeah, thank you, we'll be back tomorrow.
