- 0:00Speaker 1: We are now being told about stories of women being
- 0:03Speaker 1: pulled from their homes, people that stood with American troops
- 0:07Speaker 1: being pulled from their homes and killed. One soldier tweeted
- 0:11Speaker 1: out a picture of himself in a group of one, two, three, four,
- 0:15Speaker 1: five different Afghan military soldiers, a picture that was taken
- 0:19Speaker 1: in February. He said, the Afghans we were within February
- 0:22Speaker 1: were all executed outside their homes in Kandahar. This is
- 0:27Speaker 1: what is happening in the country right now. You wanna
- 0:30Speaker 1: who's going to lead the Taliban. Taliban leader who was
- 0:35Speaker 1: freed from Guantanamo Bay in a prison swat for the
- 0:39Speaker 1: deserter burg Doll back in twenty fourteen by Barack Obama
- 0:43Speaker 1: is now the guy who is in charge of the Taliban.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We have just learned this is one of the worst
- 0:50Speaker 1: dudes in the world. And now this guy who we
- 0:54Speaker 1: freed in this prisoner exchange of five to one exchange
- 0:58Speaker 1: for a deserter bou Burg Doll, is now in charge.
- 1:04Speaker 1: A guy that no other country, by the way, wanted back,
- 1:08Speaker 1: wanted him out. He is now in charge of the Taliban.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Nothing to see here, right, nothing to see here? Welcome
- 1:19Speaker 1: to what is happening as the President of the United
- 1:21Speaker 1: States America is on vacation yet again. Now the Taliban
- 1:26Speaker 1: were also been told has total control over the airport,
- 1:32Speaker 1: compound around the airport. They have completely surrounded the airport.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It is theirs. The White House has said, or not
- 1:40Speaker 1: even the White House, the Pentagon has said, well, if
- 1:42Speaker 1: they attack us, we will defend ourselves. Well, that's Captain
- 1:45Speaker 1: obvious information. General Petrayus called the Afghan debacle quote our
- 1:50Speaker 1: dun Kirk moment, something that was in fact avoidable. Take
- 1:56Speaker 1: a listen to what he had to say on Fox.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So that victory for the Taliban House King concerns the
- 2:00Speaker 1: country could once again become a breeding ground for terrorism,
- 2:04Speaker 1: and that is something the world will be watching here
- 2:06Speaker 1: to talk about it. Retired General former CIA Director David Petraea, Sir,
- 2:10Speaker 1: thank you for coming back in good morning to you.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I want to read a quote to you from the
- 2:14Speaker 1: President from yesterday. This is what he said. He said,
- 2:16Speaker 1: the choice I had to make as your president was
- 2:19Speaker 1: either to follow through on that agreement cut by the
- 2:21Speaker 1: Trump team or go back to fighting the Taliban. Sir,
- 2:25Speaker 1: was this one decision or the other? Well, first of all,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I think that the Trump agreement was disastrous. It was very,
- 2:34Speaker 1: very flawed. It resulted in the release of some five
- 2:37Speaker 1: thousand detainees of the Taliban that were being held by
- 2:41Speaker 1: the Afghan government, which was not allowed to participate in
- 2:45Speaker 1: the negotiations. But that said, this administration has overturned innumerable
- 2:51Speaker 1: policy decisions by the previous administration to withdrawal from the WHO,
- 2:55Speaker 1: from the Urn Nuclear Court, you can name anymore. And
- 2:58Speaker 1: I don't know why it fell that it was in
- 3:00Speaker 1: a straight jacket in this particular case. The fact is,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think that there were alternatives as we look at
- 3:08Speaker 1: what is clearly a heartbreaking tragic I don't know how
- 3:12Speaker 1: you can describe it as anything other than disastrous outcome
- 3:16Speaker 1: in this case, And certainly there's a lot of blame
- 3:19Speaker 1: to go around. I thought it was a bit uncharitable
- 3:23Speaker 1: to cast quite as much, particularly on Afghan soldiers, who
- 3:27Speaker 1: until now certainly a mixed bag, especially with the police.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But the Afghan soldiers and especially the Special Operations Forces
- 3:34Speaker 1: and their air force fought very, very hard over the years.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Our concerns over those years and oftentimes were that they
- 3:41Speaker 1: were taking such high casualties that they could not sustain
- 3:45Speaker 1: that and maintain their industry. And let's keep in mind
- 3:47Speaker 1: that we have not lost a single soldier in battle
- 3:50Speaker 1: since February twenty twenty. So was there a sustainable measured
- 3:56Speaker 1: in the expenditure of our blood and treasure, sustained commit
- 4:00Speaker 1: that might have been made maintained. I think that that
- 4:03Speaker 1: was an alternative. Did we apparently underestimate what a number
- 4:10Speaker 1: of US actually pointed out, and that is that there's
- 4:13Speaker 1: going to be an enormous psychological blow, first with the
- 4:16Speaker 1: announcement to withdraw, then with the actual withdrawal, because I
- 4:20Speaker 1: think there are many in Afghanistan, probably in the United
- 4:22Speaker 1: States who thought would look into the ABYSS and then
- 4:25Speaker 1: draw back at the last moment, as we did before,
- 4:28Speaker 1: including with the Trump administration. And then, of course, something
- 4:32Speaker 1: that's somewhat overlooked was the withdrawal of some eighteen thousand
- 4:35Speaker 1: contractors who maintained the US provided helicopter and planes that
- 4:40Speaker 1: were the key to getting those great Afghan special operators
- 4:44Speaker 1: and close air support two Afghan forces that were fighting
- 4:49Speaker 1: at that point all around the country. Simultaneous attacks by
- 4:54Speaker 1: the Taliban in a whole host of different locations in
- 4:58Speaker 1: a very very vast mountainous country with limited road infrastructure,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and frankly, once Afghan soldiers or any soldiers fight for
- 5:06Speaker 1: a couple of days as they did at the outset,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and then realize that nobody has their back, there's nobody
- 5:12Speaker 1: coming to the rescue, they are going to figure out
- 5:15Speaker 1: that they either have to flee or they have to
- 5:17Speaker 1: cut a deal and surrender. And that is exactly what
- 5:21Speaker 1: many of the Afghan forces and local leaders did when
- 5:25Speaker 1: they realized that there was no one coming to the rescue,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because the Afghan air force readiness had eroded so substantially.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So that's I think the perspective. But let's get let
- 5:35Speaker 1: me just go back to what Jenner Portray said. You
- 5:37Speaker 1: notice there he stopped himself and said, look, we all
- 5:40Speaker 1: have been saying, don't do it this way. We all
- 5:44Speaker 1: have been telling you don't do it this way. Now
- 5:50Speaker 1: the White House and the Pentagon trying to rewrite history
- 5:54Speaker 1: as we speak. They're trying to say there's no problem
- 6:01Speaker 1: on the ground. In fact, they actually said, quote, there's
- 6:03Speaker 1: been no hostile interactions from the Taliban with our operations.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So then they're asked a basic question from CNN because
- 6:11Speaker 1: they won't go on any other news channel saying, hey,
- 6:13Speaker 1: how are you going to get all the Americans out
- 6:15Speaker 1: of Afghanistan who are stuck there behind enemy lines? Now,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I want you to listen to the Pentagon's response. So
- 6:21Speaker 1: the reason I'm would ask you about those numbers is
- 6:23Speaker 1: just because of that. I want to understand how you're
- 6:25Speaker 1: going to do that, because there are only so many
- 6:28Speaker 1: people at the airport right now. There aren't twenty thousand
- 6:30Speaker 1: people at the airport right now. There aren't five to
- 6:32Speaker 1: ten thousand Americans at the airport right now. They're at
- 6:34Speaker 1: their homes either in Cobble or the area. What is
- 6:37Speaker 1: the plan to get these people to the airport? There's,
- 6:43Speaker 1: first of all, from a military perspective, John, our focus
- 6:45Speaker 1: is at the airport right security and stability at the
- 6:48Speaker 1: airport so we can keep operations going. We're working hand
- 6:51Speaker 1: in glove with the State Department in terms of supporting
- 6:55Speaker 1: their plans at processing these individuals. But again that's something
- 6:59Speaker 1: that we're going to be doing on a case by case,
- 7:01Speaker 1: day by day basis right now, though, I don't want
- 7:03Speaker 1: to set the expectation that we are equipped and able
- 7:08Speaker 1: to go out into the countryside and physically move people
- 7:10Speaker 1: into Kabble. Our focus right now. The troops that we
- 7:13Speaker 1: have there are at the airport. The idea is to
- 7:15Speaker 1: make sure we can get that the air operations not
- 7:17Speaker 1: only have they resumed, but to keep them in place
- 7:20Speaker 1: for as long as possible. If they can't get to
- 7:21Speaker 1: the airport, what does it matter if you have the
- 7:23Speaker 1: capabilities to get them out from the airport. And John,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I understand that, and we all understand that the security
- 7:28Speaker 1: situation in Kabble is not ideal. Right now, the airport
- 7:31Speaker 1: is open and people are by the way. It's not open.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's a lie. The airport's not open. There's no safe
- 7:37Speaker 1: passage to the airport. The Taliban has surrounded the airport. Yes,
- 7:42Speaker 1: Americans are protecting the airport, but there's no way to
- 7:44Speaker 1: get to the airport, which is exactly what American citizens
- 7:47Speaker 1: are begging that we need you to come get us.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And this guy just said, there's no plan to get
- 7:53Speaker 1: Americans the airport. So, Okay, the airport's open, how do
- 7:56Speaker 1: I get there without being beheaded by the Taliban? Able
- 8:00Speaker 1: to get through the gates. There's a there's a processing
- 8:04Speaker 1: process that actually has to occur. But right now things
- 8:07Speaker 1: are moving out of the airport, and again our focuses
- 8:09Speaker 1: on making sure that continues. So, in other words, we
- 8:12Speaker 1: have an airport that is open, but we have no
- 8:16Speaker 1: plan on how to get Americans his words, not mine,
- 8:18Speaker 1: to the airport to get on the planes. This is
- 8:22Speaker 1: the Biden administration and he's saying this. Wow, Joe Biden
- 8:26Speaker 1: is actually on vacation. Even MSNBC is having on Democrats
- 8:33Speaker 1: who are saying this is all Joe Biden's fault. Now,
- 8:37Speaker 1: the Pentagon has put out a number saying that they
- 8:39Speaker 1: can't evacuate five thousand and nine thousand people per day,
- 8:42Speaker 1: but we have no way to give them the airports.
- 8:43Speaker 1: At some point, what are we going to do? Right?
- 8:47Speaker 1: The Pentagon also saying that it will take weeks. So
- 8:54Speaker 1: I want you to imagine knowing that the United States government,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and you're an American says, and your family's there, you've
- 8:59Speaker 1: been helping there in Afghanistan, you've been working in Afghanistan,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and you're an actual American system with a US passport,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and your country has just told you, while the president
- 9:08Speaker 1: is on vacation, that you're going to have to play
- 9:11Speaker 1: a game of hide and go seek, and if you lose,
- 9:14Speaker 1: you will be murdered. You will be beheaded, Your children
- 9:19Speaker 1: will be brutally murdered in the streets. You may be
- 9:21Speaker 1: hung from a crane if you lose the game of
- 9:26Speaker 1: hide and go seek for the next two weeks. And
- 9:28Speaker 1: the Pentagon just said week and again I'm quoting them.
- 9:30Speaker 1: We have no plans on how to get Americans the airport.
- 9:34Speaker 1: They have no plan how to do that. Even Democratic
- 9:37Speaker 1: Representative Molton on MSNBC said this behind the next few
- 9:42Speaker 1: days are critical and the last few days seem to
- 9:45Speaker 1: have been avoidable. Given all that you've just said, who
- 9:49Speaker 1: do you think President Biden is listening to Well, he's
- 9:53Speaker 1: not listening to me, because for the last few months
- 9:56Speaker 1: I have been telling the administration that they need to
- 9:58Speaker 1: start the evacuation immediately. That if you simply did the
- 10:02Speaker 1: math with the number of people we need to get
- 10:04Speaker 1: out and the number of days that we had before
- 10:07Speaker 1: US troop withdrawal is complete, they should have been conducting
- 10:10Speaker 1: this evacuation for months. This is the first question I
- 10:14Speaker 1: asked Secretary of Austin when he came before the House
- 10:17Speaker 1: Arm Services Committee just two months ago. I said, mister Secretary,
- 10:21Speaker 1: why have you not already begun this evacuation. All the
- 10:26Speaker 1: scenes of total chaos that we saw a play out
- 10:29Speaker 1: on the TV yesterday could have been avoided if the
- 10:32Speaker 1: administration had planned for this in advance. I mean, I
- 10:34Speaker 1: am shocked that they are talking today about finding US
- 10:39Speaker 1: bases here in America to house these avcans. We've known
- 10:44Speaker 1: for months. In fact, we've known for years that we
- 10:47Speaker 1: need places to put these folks when they immigrate to
- 10:49Speaker 1: the United States. There's been an SIV, a Special Immigrant
- 10:53Speaker 1: Visa backlog since long before I came to Congress. So
- 10:57Speaker 1: there's really no excuse for not doing this, for this
- 11:01Speaker 1: evacuation and starting it sooner. This is a Democratic congressman
- 11:07Speaker 1: saying this. They all know it has been a screw up. Now,
- 11:11Speaker 1: the White House and the Pentagon is trying to act
- 11:13Speaker 1: like somehow the Taliban is a good group of guys,
- 11:16Speaker 1: a bunch of normal people, right They just had this
- 11:19Speaker 1: Pentagon briefing where the Pentagon spokesman who just said we
- 11:24Speaker 1: have no plans on how to get Americans out of
- 11:26Speaker 1: Afghanistan outside of the airport area, want you to know though,
- 11:30Speaker 1: that hey, the Taliban's actually they're being really good people
- 11:33Speaker 1: right now. They're dragging people from their homes. They're murdering people.
- 11:38Speaker 1: They pulled a mother of four out of her house
- 11:41Speaker 1: for not cooking for them because she said, I have
- 11:43Speaker 1: no food, no money for food, and they drug her
- 11:46Speaker 1: out in the street or excuse me though, they drugger
- 11:48Speaker 1: in the bedroom, beat her with the butt of AK
- 11:51Speaker 1: forty sevens to death, then threw a grenade in the
- 11:53Speaker 1: house and blew up other family members. And the Pentagon
- 11:56Speaker 1: spokesman said, quote, there's been no hostile interaction from the
- 11:59Speaker 1: Taliban to our operations, well at least at the airport. Yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 1: could you just gave him the whole damn country. Still
- 12:05Speaker 1: threats from the Taliban at the airport, I'm warning. Does
- 12:08Speaker 1: the US have an arrangement with the Taliban to allow
- 12:11Speaker 1: the evacuation airlist to proceed until August thirty first? And
- 12:16Speaker 1: the second question is under what circumstance would the US
- 12:22Speaker 1: troops leave before August thirty first. So on your first question,
- 12:25Speaker 1: what I would say is coming out of General Mackenzie's
- 12:29Speaker 1: discussions with senior Taliban leaders in Doha, our commanders at
- 12:35Speaker 1: the airport are in communication with Taliban commanders on the
- 12:43Speaker 1: ground outside the airport. There have been discussions. There is
- 12:47Speaker 1: communication between them and us, and I would just let
- 12:51Speaker 1: the results speak for themselves. I'm not going to get
- 12:54Speaker 1: into the details of how those discussions are progressing, because
- 12:57Speaker 1: there are interactions multiple times a day. In as I
- 13:02Speaker 1: the General said, I think very well, there's been no
- 13:05Speaker 1: hostile in our actions from the Taliban to our operations
- 13:09Speaker 1: at the airport, So the point of that would be
- 13:12Speaker 1: too allowed that the Taliban is willing to allow it proceed,
- 13:16Speaker 1: and they're they're cooperating in that regard. I would just
- 13:18Speaker 1: let the results speak for themselves so far, and we're
- 13:20Speaker 1: not taking anything for granted. And the prior to August
- 13:23Speaker 1: thirty first part of our oh I'm sorry, yeah, right now,
- 13:26Speaker 1: As the General made clear, the mission runs through August
- 13:30Speaker 1: thirty first. The Commander in Chief made it very clear
- 13:33Speaker 1: that we were going to complete this draw down by
- 13:36Speaker 1: August thirty first, which now includes the draw down of
- 13:39Speaker 1: American citizens, you know, the pulling out of American citizens
- 13:42Speaker 1: and draw down of our embassy personnel. So that's what
- 13:44Speaker 1: we're focused on. That's the timeline we're on. And as
- 13:47Speaker 1: the Secretary made clear to leaders even as recently as
- 13:51Speaker 1: this morning time, is of the essence and we all
- 13:54Speaker 1: we all share a sense of urgency here. But right now,
- 13:58Speaker 1: the mission runs to thirty first of August, and I
- 14:00Speaker 1: won't begin to speculate what happens after that. All right,
- 14:03Speaker 1: So there you go. So the thirty first, Taliban, Hey,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I just hold on, don't do anything stupid till the
- 14:07Speaker 1: thirty first. After that, you can go kill everybody you
- 14:08Speaker 1: want to. I mean, Taliban spokesman just congratulated the nation
- 14:16Speaker 1: for this victory. Congratulated the nations. Hey, like, congratulations, we won,
- 14:22Speaker 1: we beat Remember, Taliban plays the long game. That's what
- 14:29Speaker 1: happens here. Taliban plays the long game. Afghan's first female
- 14:37Speaker 1: mayor gave a plea for her country moments ago. The
- 14:40Speaker 1: first female mayor ever says she's now waiting for the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Taliban to come and kill her after the terror group
- 14:45Speaker 1: outed the government effectually see power of the country. Zarifa
- 14:51Speaker 1: twenty seven, became the youngest and first female mayor in
- 14:54Speaker 1: Afghan in twenty eighteen. She has received numerous threats from
- 14:57Speaker 1: the Taliban and faced multiple attemptive assassinations. Her father was
- 15:01Speaker 1: killed last year. He held a defense mystery position in Kabul,
- 15:06Speaker 1: moved there over fear for her safety until the Taliban
- 15:08Speaker 1: ever ran the city over the weekend. According to I News,
- 15:12Speaker 1: her plea quote, I'm sitting here waiting for them to come.
- 15:16Speaker 1: There is no one to help me or my family.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm just sitting with them and my husband, and they
- 15:21Speaker 1: will come for people like me and they will kill me.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I can't leave my family in any way. There would
- 15:26Speaker 1: be where would I go. America has abandoned us. There
- 15:30Speaker 1: is nowhere for us to go. You want to know
- 15:32Speaker 1: somebody that I'm in favor of giving asylum to this woman.
- 15:36Speaker 1: This is an individual that I would absolutely say yes to.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And you have this race to evacuate Americans and Afghans
- 15:45Speaker 1: from Kabul, and the Taliban knows they own it right now.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Less than a month ago, this woman had seemed optimistic
- 15:52Speaker 1: about our country's future, telling i Knews the time quote,
- 15:55Speaker 1: Younger people are aware of what's happening. They have social media,
- 15:57Speaker 1: they communicate. I think they will continue fighting for progress
- 16:00Speaker 1: and our rights. I think the future for our country
- 16:02Speaker 1: we might still have a chance. Many of Afghan's top
- 16:05Speaker 1: government officials have already fled the country. The president fled
- 16:08Speaker 1: the country on Sunday as the Taliban militants entered Kabul.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Refugees who fled to Kabul before its falls said the
- 16:15Speaker 1: Taliban militants had already begun cracking down on Afghans in
- 16:18Speaker 1: outlying cities and towns, forcing unmarried women to become sex
- 16:22Speaker 1: slaves wed to Taliban fighters executing every Afghan soldier they
- 16:27Speaker 1: can get their hands on. Members of Taliban have already
- 16:30Speaker 1: reported started knocking door to door searching in Kabol, looking
- 16:34Speaker 1: for any former officials of the Afghan government, any former soldiers,
- 16:40Speaker 1: any journalists and others, and then killing them. Taliban militants
- 16:44Speaker 1: are reportedly conducting these door to door searches looking for
- 16:47Speaker 1: all of the people who worked to the United States,
- 16:50Speaker 1: dragging them the streets, throwing grenades in their homes, and
- 16:53Speaker 1: blowing them up. Taliban militants are also seeking out journalists
- 16:58Speaker 1: who were not friendly to the Taliban. In other words,
- 17:01Speaker 1: if you were reporting the truth. While the terrorist group
- 17:03Speaker 1: has promised safety and publicly called for a peaceful transfer power,
- 17:07Speaker 1: refugees who Flacticable prior to its fall said that the
- 17:10Speaker 1: Taliban had already begun forced marriages and executions. Taliban started
- 17:15Speaker 1: the door to our search looking for government officials, former
- 17:18Speaker 1: police and security force members and those who worked for
- 17:21Speaker 1: foreign country in geo's or infrastructures in Afghanistan. Three journalists
- 17:26Speaker 1: houses were searched in the last hour. News media outlets
- 17:29Speaker 1: are reporting couple has now become deadly. One Cobble based
- 17:33Speaker 1: journalist tweeted out this morning, this is a game changer
- 17:35Speaker 1: for all of us. Many have started counting their final
- 17:37Speaker 1: hours of life. Nobody knows what happens next. Please pray
- 17:41Speaker 1: for us because no one's coming to get us. Taliban
- 17:44Speaker 1: fighters are going door to door looking for also the
- 17:46Speaker 1: government employees, and when they find them, they take them
- 17:49Speaker 1: the street. Announced to the community, this will happen if
- 17:52Speaker 1: you help the Americans and then executing them. Another journalists
- 17:57Speaker 1: tweeted out, some have been taken away. Family members say
- 18:00Speaker 1: another case, how has it been searching documents, weapons confiscated?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Taliban also recording names and addresses for kill this what
- 18:11Speaker 1: is the US government doing? Our president is on vacation
- 18:14Speaker 1: right now. He addressed the nation, checked that box and
- 18:17Speaker 1: now he has decided to go on vacation. Even last night,
- 18:22Speaker 1: Brian Williams praised Joe Biden's speech on MSNBC and an
- 18:25Speaker 1: army veteran embarrassed him on live TV. Take a listen
- 18:30Speaker 1: to this for just to hear your reaction of this
- 18:33Speaker 1: consequential speech by the American president. Didn't run from it.
- 18:37Speaker 1: He owned it. He owned his decision. He owned the
- 18:40Speaker 1: fact that, as he put it, the buck stops with him.
- 18:43Speaker 1: By the way he did run. He literally answered no
- 18:45Speaker 1: questions from the US media after he got finished talking,
- 18:48Speaker 1: not even one question, and then went back on vacation
- 18:51Speaker 1: while Americans are trapped in Afghanistan being hunted down by
- 18:54Speaker 1: the Taliban, actual American citizens. But yet MSNBC and Brian
- 18:58Speaker 1: Williams like well, he owned it. He did a job,
- 19:01Speaker 1: He did an amazing job. Listen to US Army veteran
- 19:05Speaker 1: Matt Zeller's response. I hope he gets a home their
- 19:09Speaker 1: deaths too, don't. I feel like I watched a different
- 19:12Speaker 1: speech than the rest of you guys. I was appalled.
- 19:15Speaker 1: There is such a profound, bold faith lie in that speech,
- 19:18Speaker 1: the idea that we planned for every contingency. I have
- 19:21Speaker 1: been personally trying to tell this administration since it took office.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I've been trying to tell our government for years that
- 19:28Speaker 1: this was coming. We sent them plan after plan on
- 19:31Speaker 1: how to evacuate these people. Nobody listened to us. They
- 19:35Speaker 1: didn't plan for the evacuation of our Afghan wartime allies.
- 19:38Speaker 1: They're trying to conduct it now at the eleventh hour.
- 19:41Speaker 1: The thing that they were most concerned about was the
- 19:43Speaker 1: optics of a chaotic evacuation. Well they got exactly that
- 19:46Speaker 1: they were most concerned of by failing to do what
- 19:49Speaker 1: was right when we could have done it. We had
- 19:51Speaker 1: all the people in equipment in place to be able
- 19:53Speaker 1: to save these people months ago, and we did nothing.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm appalled that he thinks, so we only need to
- 19:59Speaker 1: take two thousand people. There's eighty six thousand people who
- 20:02Speaker 1: are currently left behind in Afghanistan alone. We've identified all
- 20:06Speaker 1: of them for the government. I have no idea why
- 20:09Speaker 1: he claims that people don't want to leave Afghanistan. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: have a list of fourteen thousand names right now, but
- 20:14Speaker 1: people who want to get out of Afghanistan, and the
- 20:16Speaker 1: idea that the Afghan military should be blamed for this.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Do you know how many casualties the Afghan military took
- 20:22Speaker 1: in an average year, more than the United States did
- 20:24Speaker 1: in twenty Did you hear that stat By the way,
- 20:28Speaker 1: Matt Zellar just said, if you think the Afghan military
- 20:30Speaker 1: is a bunch of cowards, they took more casualties in
- 20:33Speaker 1: a year in the Afkhan military being attacked by the
- 20:36Speaker 1: Taliban that the US military did in the last twenty
- 20:39Speaker 1: years combined in Afghanistan. That's why I said, I feel
- 20:43Speaker 1: like I watched a different speech than the rest of
- 20:44Speaker 1: you guys. I was appalled. Listen to that fact again.
- 20:48Speaker 1: He says, I've got a list. And this is a
- 20:49Speaker 1: guy that served, This is a guy that's angry. This
- 20:52Speaker 1: is a guy that looked people in the eye and said,
- 20:55Speaker 1: I am here to help. I'm from America. You help me.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'll get you out of this country if you ever
- 20:59Speaker 1: need to. And those people are begging him to be extracted,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and we're saying, sorry, you're gonna be beheaded. It should
- 21:07Speaker 1: be blamed for this. Do you know how many casualties
- 21:09Speaker 1: the Afghan military took in an average year, more than
- 21:12Speaker 1: the United States did in twenty When you're not getting
- 21:14Speaker 1: paid on a regular basis, when you're not getting fuel,
- 21:17Speaker 1: when no one is supplying you with ammunition, and yet
- 21:19Speaker 1: you're still showing up to the fight, how dare us
- 21:22Speaker 1: for having to blame these people for not having the
- 21:24Speaker 1: audacity to be able to survive. A Taliban onslot, no, no, no,
- 21:28Speaker 1: what we need to be doing right now, And what
- 21:29Speaker 1: I am appalled that the President didn't say was we
- 21:32Speaker 1: need to be talking about how we're going to get
- 21:34Speaker 1: every single one of these people out, so every single
- 21:37Speaker 1: one of these people out. This man's angry. That's of
- 21:41Speaker 1: course not what MSNBC thought he was going to say.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And I'm sure they'll never have him back. Don't worry.
- 21:47Speaker 1: You know, there's bizarre pictures of celebrations coming out right now.
- 21:51Speaker 1: The Sun just put up pictures of what they're referring
- 21:54Speaker 1: to now is Jihadi Park. The Taliban was riding in
- 21:59Speaker 1: bumper cars after seizing a theme park his others hunt
- 22:03Speaker 1: victim on a kill list. This bizarre video put out
- 22:07Speaker 1: of the Taliban shows fanatics who carry out brutal executions,
- 22:12Speaker 1: stonings and amputations riding on a merrygo round and also
- 22:16Speaker 1: in bumper cars. Footage shows them driving these bumper cars
- 22:20Speaker 1: around enjoying themselves, many of them laughing and smiling as
- 22:24Speaker 1: they drive around into each other's cars, where their guns
- 22:27Speaker 1: propped up in the passenger seat. Another video Taliban fighters
- 22:30Speaker 1: are also seen riding ponies on the Merrygo Round at
- 22:32Speaker 1: the theme park that they seized. This comes as the
- 22:35Speaker 1: serving reports have been confirmed from Afghanistan Taliban fighters going
- 22:40Speaker 1: door to door would kill lists, with women facing torture
- 22:43Speaker 1: and execution and rape all under the brutal new rules.
- 22:47Speaker 1: The Taliban's out in complete control of the country, and
- 22:49Speaker 1: government troops have been seen surrendering to them and then
- 22:52Speaker 1: being executed. Taliban forces have already pledged to reintroduce Your
- 22:57Speaker 1: Real Law, which brutalized women in gay people through them
- 23:01Speaker 1: from the rooftops when they rule the Afghanistan country in
- 23:04Speaker 1: the nineties. They've already been reports throughout their advance of
- 23:08Speaker 1: women being shot dead, in girls ns twelve being dragged
- 23:10Speaker 1: from their homes to be raped and quote married to
- 23:14Speaker 1: the fighters. Pick your hottest twelve year old you can find.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's literally what the Taliban is doing right now, and
- 23:20Speaker 1: what is this present doing. He's on a dam vacation,
- 23:23Speaker 1: it appears. However, their first mission is a tick off
- 23:25Speaker 1: the victims who have made their way into their kill lists,
- 23:27Speaker 1: as they hunt down anyone who may have helped forces
- 23:31Speaker 1: of the US, UK and other nations during the occupation.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Not only are they calling them in the middle of
- 23:37Speaker 1: the night, in the daytime, they're just screwing with them
- 23:39Speaker 1: like they're a trapped animal in a cage before they
- 23:43Speaker 1: finally going to kill them. Brutality is setting in and
- 23:47Speaker 1: the rain of the Taliban is in full force in Afan,
- 23:51Speaker 1: Afghanistan and in Kabul. Taliban spokesman just changed his tune.
- 23:57Speaker 1: After saying we're not going to kill a bunch of
- 23:58Speaker 1: people yesterday, he now said the punishments and executions are
- 24:02Speaker 1: up to the quote religious followers and the courts. Asked
- 24:08Speaker 1: specifically about the horrific violence that they dealt out in
- 24:12Speaker 1: the nineteen nineties, such as chopped off hands and feet
- 24:14Speaker 1: and stonings of women, he said, I can't say right now.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It is up to the court and the judges and
- 24:19Speaker 1: the laws. One Afghan government showed a soldier surrendered to
- 24:26Speaker 1: the Taliban. What did they do to him? They walked
- 24:29Speaker 1: him the streets and then they blew his head off.
- 24:33Speaker 1: They put it on the internet. They're proud of it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: They're not trying to hide it, folks. They're proud of it.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And not one time in the present speech that he
- 24:42Speaker 1: warned the Taliban don't screw with us. You want to
- 24:46Speaker 1: know what's happening to those that are actually stood with us.
- 24:51Speaker 1: One man who served in our military who is now
- 24:54Speaker 1: a representative, Mike Waltz, who ran for Congress after serving
- 24:59Speaker 1: his kind Tree, told this story to sixty Minutes last night.
- 25:04Speaker 1: My interpreter was often more important to me than a
- 25:07Speaker 1: heavy machine gun or a radio to be able to
- 25:10Speaker 1: talk to the Air Force, because without that asset, I was,
- 25:14Speaker 1: you know, I was basically deaf and in many ways
- 25:16Speaker 1: culturally blind. That's how important they were. Mike Waltz, he said,
- 25:20Speaker 1: Republican representative from Florida and the first Army Green Beret
- 25:24Speaker 1: elected to Congress. He shared this photo of his translator,
- 25:28Speaker 1: known as Spartacus, who was waiting on SIV approval when
- 25:32Speaker 1: he was stopped at a Taliban checkpoint. When the Taliban
- 25:35Speaker 1: found him with that paperwork, they forced him to go home.
- 25:39Speaker 1: They followed him home. Not only did they behead him,
- 25:43Speaker 1: but they dragged several of his brothers and his cousins
- 25:45Speaker 1: out and killed them as well. To send that kind
- 25:48Speaker 1: of a message, Why would someone risk everything to help
- 25:52Speaker 1: you as forces? Yeah, you know, these people had lived
- 25:57Speaker 1: true brutality. Right. They saw a very clear path of
- 26:02Speaker 1: standing with the United States to reject the Taliban and
- 26:06Speaker 1: al Qaeda, and that just real bastardization of a beautiful
- 26:10Speaker 1: religion in Islam or to capitulate and you know, live
- 26:16Speaker 1: under their rule. And so for them that was worth
- 26:19Speaker 1: dying for. The House will be in water. Last month,
- 26:23Speaker 1: the House pass legislation that would delay the required medical
- 26:27Speaker 1: exam until the applicant reaches the US, streamlining an approval
- 26:31Speaker 1: process that currently takes the State Department nearly three years.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Far too long, says Congressman Wolves. You have already eighteen
- 26:39Speaker 1: thousand people in line. Are you concerned that number can grow?
- 26:43Speaker 1: I'm incredibly afraid for them. When that last American soldier
- 26:48Speaker 1: goes wheels up out of Afghanistan, we will have handed
- 26:52Speaker 1: these people at death senates. To those that we haven't
- 26:55Speaker 1: gotten out, we need to get them out. We need
- 26:58Speaker 1: to get them out. I'll say the last thing this
- 27:01Speaker 1: today to put this in perspective. Remember that guy by
- 27:05Speaker 1: the name of bou Bergdahl. Remember when we traded terrorists
- 27:09Speaker 1: from Guantanamo Bay to get him back, and he was
- 27:13Speaker 1: a deserter who left the base and we risked people's
- 27:16Speaker 1: lives to go find him, and people died trying to
- 27:18Speaker 1: find him. And then we traded top Taliban individuals from
- 27:22Speaker 1: Guantanamo Bay. You remember that, Well, guess what one of
- 27:27Speaker 1: the people we traded in that group of five. We
- 27:30Speaker 1: now have been told that that Taliban leader who was
- 27:33Speaker 1: freegling on Ontanamoban twenty fourteen, swapped by the Obama administration,
- 27:38Speaker 1: is now a Taliban leader. President Barack Obama released five
- 27:43Speaker 1: Taliban commanders from Gheitmo in exchange for an American deserter
- 27:47Speaker 1: in twenty fourteen. He assured a weary public that the
- 27:51Speaker 1: dangerous enemy combatants would be transferred to Qatar and kept
- 27:55Speaker 1: from causing trouble in Afghanistan. In fact, they were let
- 27:59Speaker 1: free to engineer Sunday's attack on Kabul. Soon after gaining
- 28:04Speaker 1: their freedom, some of the notorious Taliban five pledge to
- 28:07Speaker 1: return to fight Americans in Afghanistan to make contacts with
- 28:10Speaker 1: active military Taliban leaders there, but the Obama Bide administration
- 28:14Speaker 1: turned a blind eye to the disturbing intelligence report, even
- 28:17Speaker 1: though they could have hunted them down and killed them.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It wasn't long before the free detainees used Qatar as
- 28:21Speaker 1: a base to form a regime in exile. Eventually, they
- 28:26Speaker 1: were even recognized by Western diplomats as official representatives of
- 28:29Speaker 1: the Taliban during recent peace talks earlier this year. One
- 28:34Speaker 1: of those five actually set across the table from President
- 28:36Speaker 1: Biden's envoy to Afghanistan in Moscow, where they were part
- 28:41Speaker 1: of the official Taliban delegation that negotiated the final terms
- 28:44Speaker 1: of our ridral. The retreat cleared a path for the
- 28:47Speaker 1: Taliban to retake power after twenty years. I started Jihab
- 28:51Speaker 1: to remove foreign forces from my country, he said, and
- 28:54Speaker 1: established Islamic government, and jihad will continue until we reached
- 28:57Speaker 1: that goal through a political agreement, he said at the stomach.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Congratulations to Barack Obama and Joe Biden for letting this
- 29:07Speaker 1: guy out. And now he's the one that's going to
- 29:09Speaker 1: kill Americans again. All right, As I said before, and
- 29:13Speaker 1: I'll say it again, Please make sure that you share
