- 0:24Speaker 3: Listening to Joy.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Joy, you turn, you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn mouth water the mon up,
- 1:49Speaker 2: look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that, huh? I sure will. Or good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice I said, come on now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me the one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, Now, I'm gonna be really honest with
- 2:15Speaker 1: you this morning. I really don't know what to say.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I really don't. I was sitting here and I was thinking,
- 2:27Speaker 1: what do I say today? I do know that I
- 2:32Speaker 1: want to be encouraging, uplifting and inspirational in some way
- 2:38Speaker 1: to affect somebody today. Oftentimes, these conversations that I have
- 2:44Speaker 1: in the mornings, they're designed with me because I needed myself, y'all,
- 2:51Speaker 1: to be honest with you. I mean, you know who
- 2:56Speaker 1: makes the comedian laugh? I used to say all the time.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And even though what we talk about in the morning
- 3:03Speaker 1: is not a laughing matter, it kind of like is
- 3:06Speaker 1: where I am today? You know I need motivation in
- 3:11Speaker 1: my life sometimes myself. I think when I get in
- 3:15Speaker 1: moments like this, I often resort back to the same
- 3:21Speaker 1: thing over and over and over. And when I find
- 3:25Speaker 1: myself in certain predicaments, I can always fall back on
- 3:31Speaker 1: the same thing over and over. So while I'm sitting
- 3:35Speaker 1: here trying to figure out what to say to you,
- 3:39Speaker 1: the one thing that I did do this morning that
- 3:42Speaker 1: I find to be very consistent in me is that
- 3:45Speaker 1: I find myself grateful. I'm ever grateful for the things
- 3:51Speaker 1: that God has done for me. I may not always
- 3:55Speaker 1: know what to say, but I know how to say
- 3:58Speaker 1: thank you. I know how to remember and reflect back
- 4:03Speaker 1: on where I come from. I know how to realize
- 4:10Speaker 1: where all my blessings come from. I'm very very conscious
- 4:15Speaker 1: of my journey that I've been on, the one that
- 4:20Speaker 1: was from then until now, that journey right there is
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's been. It's been. It's been. Uh it's been difficult, man,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it really really has. I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Me.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Becoming successful was very difficult. But as hard as this
- 4:42Speaker 1: is to say, I really really mean this. I wouldn't
- 4:48Speaker 1: change nothing about the trip I've been on. Number One,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because I can't change anything about it. So I never
- 4:59Speaker 1: lived my life life and regret. But the main thing
- 5:03Speaker 1: is was I discovered along the way now, not doing
- 5:08Speaker 1: the process when you're going through rough moments that you
- 5:12Speaker 1: can't hardly see the good in it at the time.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's just rough for you and it seems unexplainable, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: oftentimes I thought it was unfair. But as I am now,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I needed every single thing that happened to me, that
- 5:27Speaker 1: happened to me to happen to me. I hope that
- 5:33Speaker 1: makes sense to you. I needed everything to happen in
- 5:38Speaker 1: the exact order and the exact way that it happened
- 5:43Speaker 1: in order for me to be the person that I've become.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And that right there, man, is just very comforting to me.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Mister Jakes told me one time, he said, the closer
- 5:57Speaker 1: you get to God, the more friendly you all become,
- 6:02Speaker 1: the more He will reveal to you are the how
- 6:07Speaker 1: it comes and what falls of a lot of things
- 6:10Speaker 1: that's happened to you. Because a lot of times what
- 6:13Speaker 1: troubles us is we just can't understand why we lost
- 6:16Speaker 1: that love one back then. We just can't understand why
- 6:20Speaker 1: we didn't get what we wanted back then we just
- 6:24Speaker 1: don't understand how come our plan didn't work out and
- 6:28Speaker 1: we had to fail so miserably. Back then, we don't
- 6:31Speaker 1: understand the answers to these things. Well, the closer I've
- 6:35Speaker 1: gotten to God, the more those explanations have become crystal
- 6:39Speaker 1: clear to me. And See, the one thing that I
- 6:42Speaker 1: came to the realization everybody is that the things that
- 6:45Speaker 1: was happening to me, they weren't really all bad. They
- 6:50Speaker 1: really wasn't that they didn't taste good. When it was happening,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I didn't enjoy what I was going through. But as
- 6:57Speaker 1: I look back on them and reflect now, it wasn't
- 6:59Speaker 1: all bad. Had some of those things was so necessary
- 7:02Speaker 1: for me to get the information because see, I don't
- 7:04Speaker 1: know about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I said, I don't know about you, but I'm kind
- 7:10Speaker 1: of hard headed and stubborn. I kind of like to
- 7:14Speaker 1: think that I know something about some things every now
- 7:19Speaker 1: and then, and the things I am convinced about. I
- 7:23Speaker 1: don't really really care for people trying to talk me
- 7:26Speaker 1: off mine. So I can be stubborn and hard headed.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Sometimes God knows that about me. So I think to
- 7:33Speaker 1: get some of the messages crystal clear through to me
- 7:36Speaker 1: that I needed to learn. That was this process I
- 7:39Speaker 1: had to go through. That process was my journey. It
- 7:42Speaker 1: was my trip. It was my woe, my pain. See,
- 7:46Speaker 1: everybody got them different, It don't matter what it is.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain, everybody got
- 7:52Speaker 1: a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got some challenge.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. Just quit looking at
- 7:58Speaker 1: me thinking that I got it going going on so
- 8:00Speaker 1: tough man. But if Steve, yeah, it's easy for you
- 8:03Speaker 1: to say that, but you ain't here. You don't know why. Ben,
- 8:08Speaker 1: if you would stop hanging yourself up on your past,
- 8:11Speaker 1: worrying about your woes and your troubles and the situation
- 8:15Speaker 1: you in, and start praying and start asking God to
- 8:19Speaker 1: get you through it. See a lot of times you
- 8:22Speaker 1: messed it. You messed the message up yourself, because when
- 8:25Speaker 1: you're going through some stuff, you ask God to remove
- 8:27Speaker 1: it and take it away. That ain't the lesson. You
- 8:30Speaker 1: got to learn your lesson sometimes it's got to be
- 8:34Speaker 1: how to be strong, how to see it through, how
- 8:38Speaker 1: to bear under it, how to carry that weight long
- 8:42Speaker 1: distances for long periods, of time. That's how you get
- 8:46Speaker 1: strong The lesson is to make you stronger. But to
- 8:49Speaker 1: make you stronger, you got to carry the weight. You
- 8:51Speaker 1: can't get stronger you don't go to gym or you
- 8:54Speaker 1: don't do something at your house to lift your own
- 8:56Speaker 1: body weight. See, a lot of people can't even do
- 9:01Speaker 1: push ups. They can't get down, and in the course
- 9:05Speaker 1: of a day, give you a hundred push ups because
- 9:07Speaker 1: they ain't they ain't never tried it. They boy it.
- 9:11Speaker 1: They get to twenty and they shake it so bad
- 9:13Speaker 1: they stop. That's too much for me. Well, let me
- 9:15Speaker 1: tell you something. So I learned to quit praying to
- 9:18Speaker 1: take stuff away. My prayer became to give me the
- 9:20Speaker 1: strength to handle it. People oftentimes ask me, how do
- 9:23Speaker 1: you do all that you do in the course of
- 9:26Speaker 1: the day. I don't really know. I just know I
- 9:30Speaker 1: can because I know God don't put more on you
- 9:33Speaker 1: than you can bath. So when you ask me how
- 9:36Speaker 1: you do all of what you do in the course
- 9:38Speaker 1: of the day, I got God. God is good. He'll
- 9:43Speaker 1: get you through whatever it is you're going through. So
- 9:45Speaker 1: when you trip it and you don't know what to say,
- 9:48Speaker 1: reflect and be grateful for all you reflect on think
- 9:53Speaker 1: about God's goodness and watch what he do for you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's the cold part.
- 9:57Speaker 7: Okay, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, this is it. The Steve Harvey Morning
- 10:07Speaker 1: Show has begun inviting you to join in and have
- 10:11Speaker 1: yourself a good time today. Now let me remind you.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Get them tudes together and you have a better day.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I've already done it. I thank the Lord this morning.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I told you I started with gratitude. I told them
- 10:23Speaker 1: how much I appreciate I said thank you yesterday, even
- 10:27Speaker 1: though I was facing a major problem. I thanked him
- 10:31Speaker 1: when I was in the middle of it, in the
- 10:33Speaker 1: middle of a problem. The problem still exists, but it's
- 10:36Speaker 1: alright though, this too shall pass. So if you start
- 10:39Speaker 1: your day with gratitude, it immediately affects your attitude. And
- 10:43Speaker 1: once it affects your altitude, is in direct correlation with
- 10:46Speaker 1: your altitude. If you get them three tuods together, Sky's elimit. Everybody.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Welcome to the ride. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mouth of the South, Junior
- 10:58Speaker 1: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:00Speaker 8: What today is this, man, Because it's kind of shocking
- 11:05Speaker 8: to me that you have a problem with just regular,
- 11:08Speaker 8: every day, every day thing like self check out.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Bothering you don't have you gotta? Why does that bother you?
- 11:14Speaker 9: Well, because it's just shocking that we do these things
- 11:17Speaker 9: all the time and you didn't even know they existed.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Well but not junr. Why is that shocking to you? Where?
- 11:24Speaker 1: Why is that bothering you? Though? That's the part I'm stuck.
- 11:27Speaker 9: At because I just can't like, would you like to
- 11:30Speaker 9: do regular stuff? Would you want to do regular stuff?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you a question. Is you tired
- 11:35Speaker 1: of doing regular stuff? I got all your world?
- 11:39Speaker 10: Yeah, I gotta do it to survive.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I can't. I can't not go to this stuff. I've
- 11:44Speaker 1: already survived and we move on. Please, Yeah, man, man,
- 11:49Speaker 1: look here this is what you man. I stopped a
- 11:53Speaker 1: long time ago apologizing for my life. It's like I
- 11:58Speaker 1: don't like my life. Man, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna
- 12:02Speaker 1: keep apologizing for my blessings now. I ain't rubbing in
- 12:05Speaker 1: nobody's face. But when I asked you a simple question,
- 12:08Speaker 1: all I'm asking for is to answer why I gotta
- 12:10Speaker 1: get kicking drug? All behind the truck because I wanted
- 12:13Speaker 1: to know. Yesterday I was a family feud working and
- 12:17Speaker 1: somebody's gave an answer self checkout, and I asked you
- 12:20Speaker 1: what he means by that? And he said, you can
- 12:23Speaker 1: check out yourself And I said well, and he said everywhere,
- 12:30Speaker 1: And wait, what you mean check out yourself? Yeah? So
- 12:33Speaker 1: then he explained to me that they got to check
- 12:36Speaker 1: out line where you can take your food up there,
- 12:40Speaker 1: scan yourself, pay for it, and put it in the
- 12:43Speaker 1: bag yourself and then leave. Yeah. Questions, Well, my very
- 12:50Speaker 1: next question, br you ain't stole nothing, not that simple.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It happens. But why is that your question? So you
- 13:01Speaker 1: are talking that all the time. I had to do that.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I cannot imagine not putting this stuff in my bag
- 13:07Speaker 1: and going to my car in the building. So now
- 13:12Speaker 1: you're watching the camera. The whole audience and family few
- 13:16Speaker 1: turned don't meet for not knowing it was a self
- 13:20Speaker 1: check I did a lady come talking about they got
- 13:22Speaker 1: it at Walmart.
- 13:22Speaker 11: And Target, Yes, everywhere, broc stores everywhere.
- 13:28Speaker 1: See, so yes, yeah, I got you. I just don't
- 13:33Speaker 1: know it's no regular stuff. But I've been blessed. I'm
- 13:36Speaker 1: not apologizing for my life no more. That's all right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after the hour.
- 13:44Speaker 7: That brank back right after this you're listening hardy Morning show. Hi,
- 13:53Speaker 7: this is Shirley Strawberry and I'm partnering with the leave.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Let me tell you it couldn't have come at a
- 13:58Speaker 7: better time. I some furniture around last weekend in a
- 14:01Speaker 7: new place. It turns out that was a really bad
- 14:04Speaker 7: idea because all that bending and lifting and pretending I'm
- 14:07Speaker 7: still twenty five didn't.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Agree with my knees.
- 14:10Speaker 7: So I grabbed a leaf because when my body pain
- 14:13Speaker 7: shows up, I need something that lasts with just one
- 14:16Speaker 7: pill a lead less up to twelve hours. Don't let
- 14:19Speaker 7: those aches and pain hold you back from doing what's
- 14:21Speaker 7: important to you. Use as directed. It is time to
- 14:25Speaker 7: start your morning off now with the nephew and run
- 14:28Speaker 7: that prank back what you got for us today, neff sarelye.

- 14:40Speaker 11: verse three.

- 14:45Speaker 11: Turned to the book of draws called a chapter five,
- 14:48Speaker 11: verse three, and it says he left his draws at
- 14:55Speaker 11: the retirement home. I don't understand he left his draws

- 20:27Speaker 11: you time to get your mind right about it. Where
- 20:32Speaker 11: have you left your draw Junior? If you would.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that was not good. Trash can at a hotel. Yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: these didn't need to go back to the house. Let's
- 21:00Speaker 1: stay right here with us. Yeah, okay, all right. I
- 21:04Speaker 1: left nine on the balcony at the Sentry Plaza Hotel
- 21:07Speaker 1: on the Avenue of the Stars one time, just hanging
- 21:10Speaker 1: off the the of the Star. That's late. Yeah, the balcony. Yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 1: you got a little while out there, I got.
- 21:16Speaker 7: All right, all right, Thank you guys for sharing over sharing.
- 21:26Speaker 16: Coming up next, it.
- 21:28Speaker 7: Is asked the clos chief Love Officer Steve Harvey and
- 21:31Speaker 7: the building ready for your love question. Right after this,
- 21:34Speaker 7: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:42Speaker 9: Everybody, that's your favorite plate cousin, Junior, you know what,
- 21:44Speaker 9: I love having cookouts in the summertime, but it is
- 21:46Speaker 9: so expensive.
- 21:48Speaker 10: But have you heard about what Sam's Club is doing though?
- 21:50Speaker 9: With locked in summer value Until July twenty second, parties
- 21:53Speaker 9: are held over.
- 21:54Speaker 10: On one thousand items.
- 21:55Speaker 9: From paper plates to trash bags. The sunscreen, to ice cream,
- 21:58Speaker 9: even apple pie. I don't bring it to join Sam's
- 22:01Speaker 9: Club because locked in Summer Velue can help you save
- 22:03Speaker 9: on all the things you need to have a great summer.

- 22:08Speaker 9: Go sign up for a membership and join Sam's Club
- 22:10Speaker 9: today at samsclub dot com slash join.
- 22:14Speaker 7: It is time to ask the CLO. CLO stands for
- 22:19Speaker 7: Cheap Love Officer, and that is Steve Harvey. Katie and
- 22:23Speaker 7: Camden says, I've kept a big secret from my husband
- 22:27Speaker 7: and his mother found out my secret. She asked if
- 22:30Speaker 7: it was true, and I lied to her. I know
- 22:32Speaker 7: I've got to be honest with my husband soon. But
- 22:35Speaker 7: do I owe my mother in law an explanation or
- 22:38Speaker 7: excuse for lying to her?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Must be quite a secret. I kept waiting to hear it,
- 22:43Speaker 1: but now you're going to do it. I say, ride
- 22:46Speaker 1: it out. You lied to your mother in law, which
- 22:51Speaker 1: is allowable. It ain't her business she was dipping. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: don't know how your mother in law heard it. And yes,
- 23:02Speaker 1: let me know that your mother in law don't really
- 23:05Speaker 1: care for you. Yeah, she has been researching dirt on you,
- 23:12Speaker 1: trying to find out something. So you lied about it.
- 23:16Speaker 1: It's a big secret. I don't know what it.
- 23:19Speaker 16: Is off the top of your head. What do you
- 23:21Speaker 16: think though.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It's a man somewhere, something she did with the man
- 23:27Speaker 1: used to date. Can't hide a baby, unless can't hide
- 23:32Speaker 1: a baby, that's horrible if you've here. If you're hiding
- 23:36Speaker 1: a child, that's a deal breaker. That's gonna be something hurtful.
- 23:42Speaker 1: The man's ego is gonna be in the way if
- 23:44Speaker 1: it's a man. Now, look, if you bought something and
- 23:49Speaker 1: your mother in law found out about it, then you
- 23:52Speaker 1: bought something. I'd brother, go on in there and tell
- 23:54Speaker 1: your husband that before he find out. Remember the golden
- 23:58Speaker 1: rule that Marjorie has told to me. It is better
- 24:02Speaker 1: to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Every
- 24:09Speaker 1: time she buys something, I question it. That's what I'm sorry.
- 24:13Speaker 16: I'm sorry.
- 24:14Speaker 1: What I'm gonna do? No, I don't forgive you. I
- 24:17Speaker 1: hate your fever. I think that's my option, right, No,
- 24:22Speaker 1: I do think so.
- 24:24Speaker 15: Do you ever go back to the stove?
- 24:25Speaker 10: Do it ever go back to the step?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh no, no, Junior. You get in a relationship forget
- 24:33Speaker 1: trying to get them to take stuff back. Don't do
- 24:35Speaker 1: this all right, it's your time, baby.
- 24:39Speaker 7: Moving on to Corey in Texas, Corey writes, I'm going
- 24:41Speaker 7: through a divorce and my husband wants to take away
- 24:44Speaker 7: the two labradoodles he gave me for our anniversary. I
- 24:48Speaker 7: took care of the dogs twenty four to seven by myself,
- 24:52Speaker 7: but now he wants to be evil. How can I
- 24:54Speaker 7: stop him from taking my furry soul mates?
- 24:57Speaker 16: And she calls you judged, Steve.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Well doing something. All you gotta do is want something
- 25:03Speaker 1: that matter with him, because he trust me, he'll give
- 25:05Speaker 1: about them dog not no two labbadoodle. I don't even
- 25:10Speaker 1: know what they are, but they sound like some two
- 25:11Speaker 1: little nuhing dogs, laboratory or whatever, labbadoodle, cocker doodle, you
- 25:18Speaker 1: know whatever, the same thing. Don't give it about them dogs, man,
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'm trying to hold on some of these accents. I'm
- 25:26Speaker 1: trying to hold onto his house. One k That's what
- 25:32Speaker 1: I'll be trying to hold on to. I don't give it.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Come get these dogs. You can come get the crackers
- 25:37Speaker 1: whatever cocker doole do is. I don't know what they are,
- 25:41Speaker 1: but them dogs. Now, the way you do that is, oh,
- 25:45Speaker 1: it's so it's a cocker Spaniel mixed with a poodle.
- 25:48Speaker 1: It's what I love. Who kills a lady. All you
- 25:56Speaker 1: got to do is take something back that he won't
- 26:00Speaker 1: deally all else, you've already cleaned him out. See now
- 26:05Speaker 1: remember this. Now, if you've cleaned his clock with the
- 26:07Speaker 1: assets and the money, he gonna try to hurt you
- 26:10Speaker 1: with them dogs. What all you got to do. All
- 26:15Speaker 1: you got to do is say, I don't want them dogs.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I ain't finna take care of them dogs, Steve.
- 26:20Speaker 7: These are her furry soul mates. They're more than dogs.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Okay, listen, that's what she said. Now for the pet
- 26:27Speaker 1: lowers out there, you know that's a part of the family.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Those are Murray babies. Okay. Well, if you think them
- 26:38Speaker 1: dogs is your soul mats, you's not gonna see them
- 26:43Speaker 1: in heaven. Just up. You know, they got their own
- 26:47Speaker 1: they got their own little helm. It ain't the one us.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So you have to worry about that. They don't produce
- 26:54Speaker 1: any income. So this is about well, you know, once
- 27:00Speaker 1: I know you don't fina, I said, call him, I
- 27:02Speaker 1: just start to not care too much, eliminating you. You
- 27:05Speaker 1: know you ain't my kid, so you know.
- 27:07Speaker 7: But your solution is for her to take something of
- 27:10Speaker 7: his unless she's taken everything.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Well, if you've taken everything, that's why you want them dogs.
- 27:15Speaker 1: You've hurt him, so don't play the one side of
- 27:17Speaker 1: the story. This divorce got a little ugly. You took
- 27:20Speaker 1: some stuff from him, like his car, you know, his
- 27:23Speaker 1: little you know his little pad that he had, little,
- 27:26Speaker 1: he had a couple of things you done took from him.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So now he findn't take the dog. That's what divorce is.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Divorce is losing stuff. You talking to the wrong person.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I lost everything about the dogs. Wish I wish he
- 27:39Speaker 1: was down to some dogs with me.
- 27:42Speaker 7: I don't think he wants the divorce, all right, Sylvia
- 27:45Speaker 7: and Washington says my husband's boss.
- 27:49Speaker 16: My husband's boss.
- 27:50Speaker 7: Had surgery, so I sent her big bouquet of flowers
- 27:53Speaker 7: from us. She sent a group text to thank us.
- 27:56Speaker 7: My husband replied, anything for my girl. Then his phone
- 28:01Speaker 7: rang and I overheard him say he didn't know. He
- 28:04Speaker 7: replied to the group was it supposed to be a
- 28:06Speaker 7: private text to her?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Hell, yeah, I didn't done that before. I didn't depend
- 28:13Speaker 1: on the group text. Yeah, A long time ago, when
- 28:15Speaker 1: I didn't know group text was yeah, I typed the
- 28:18Speaker 1: message to the dude that sent it to me. I
- 28:20Speaker 1: didn't know it went to the whole group. He did
- 28:23Speaker 1: that he's stupid anything from my girl. Then they had
- 28:27Speaker 1: a private come hell yeah. But then when you bust him,
- 28:33Speaker 1: all he gonna say is I just said anything for
- 28:35Speaker 1: my girl. I'm trying to cheer up. That's what you're
- 28:39Speaker 1: tripping fat. You know you was on the text. I
- 28:42Speaker 1: said it. If you don't want me to say that,
- 28:44Speaker 1: no more. I won't like what you're tripping for. Man,
- 28:51Speaker 1: I would want somebody to care about you that same way.
- 28:55Speaker 7: All Right, We got one last one Steve Bianca and
- 28:58Speaker 7: Montgomery says. I've been a lot long distance relationship for
- 29:01Speaker 7: a year, and I go visit my boyfriend a lot
- 29:03Speaker 7: more than he visits me. This past weekend, he called
- 29:06Speaker 7: to cancel his trip to see me, and he told
- 29:08Speaker 7: me that he needs some space. The night before, he
- 29:10Speaker 7: was very excited about coming. What happened to change his mind?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Well, he needs some space because that other girl, that
- 29:21Speaker 1: other girl talking about where you keep going all these weekends. Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I want to do something on the weekend instead of
- 29:27Speaker 1: the week How come we ain't ever together on the
- 29:29Speaker 1: week he tells you he needs some space. Hello, man,
- 29:34Speaker 1: need no space? How you need space from sex?
- 29:37Speaker 6: What?
- 29:38Speaker 16: All right?
- 29:41Speaker 15: Thank you?
- 29:41Speaker 1: Celo. Steve Harvey Moore on the show, man ain't nobody
- 29:45Speaker 1: playing with y'all? He said, what did he say?
- 29:53Speaker 16: Time?
- 29:54Speaker 11: Pretty close second ago he said, I'm sorry, pretty close
- 29:58Speaker 11: to that.
- 29:59Speaker 16: He gonna go there. I can't sure I'm talking Shirley, Shirley, Charlie. Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 16: I can hear you now she can't.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Sharley, Kate, Shary. So that's what he was saying to me,
- 30:13Speaker 1: And tell me, oh, is that what he was saying? Sharley? Second?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Not Cat?
- 30:18Speaker 16: Maybe second Cat? I know not Cat.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Maybe you guys coming up after you're listening Steve Harvey
- 30:34Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 30:39Speaker 7: Well, Americans may not take all their vacation days. Everybody
- 30:43Speaker 7: on this show can can agree to that except one person.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'm not talking about you this time.
- 30:51Speaker 11: Okay, Oh no, take yeah, you ain't doing nothing with
- 30:58Speaker 11: your little rock.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Let me have.
- 31:02Speaker 7: Whatever vacation days, sick days, whatever he could take off
- 31:06Speaker 7: he does it?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Is he sick on the sick days?
- 31:08Speaker 16: Uh uh?
- 31:09Speaker 1: I don't know this golf week? Yeah, are you talking
- 31:12Speaker 1: to me?
- 31:13Speaker 7: No, we're talking about you Americans may not take all
- 31:16Speaker 7: their vacation days, but that does not mean that we
- 31:20Speaker 7: don't spend a lot of time thinking about those vacation days.
- 31:24Speaker 7: New research revealed that Americans spend about two hundred and
- 31:27Speaker 7: eighty four days of their life dreaming about being on vacation,
- 31:31Speaker 7: and we spend more than that's a lot of time.
- 31:34Speaker 7: Then we spend more than one hundred and thirteen hours
- 31:36Speaker 7: every year thinking about being on a beach somewhere. And
- 31:40Speaker 7: your vacation picks on social media. People don't like those.
- 31:45Speaker 7: They do not stop the beatings up. Yes, yes, yes,
- 31:49Speaker 7: they make people jealous. They bring out there their food.
- 31:54Speaker 7: The study found that every day the average person sees
- 31:57Speaker 7: vacation pictures on social media.
- 31:59Speaker 16: That may the mad.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Okay, that's probably why thirty yeah.
- 32:04Speaker 11: I know.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Nobody cares.
- 32:08Speaker 7: That's probably why thirty six percent of Americans admit they
- 32:11Speaker 7: put those vacation picks on social media to show people
- 32:15Speaker 7: just how great their lives are. So, Steve, you and
- 32:18Speaker 7: your wife Marjorie take wonderful vacation. And we know you
- 32:23Speaker 7: guys ball till you fall when you go on vacation.
- 32:25Speaker 7: But what we want to know is how do you
- 32:27Speaker 7: vacation on a budget before you got to where you are?
- 32:30Speaker 1: Now, how did you? Well, I just need to know
- 32:32Speaker 1: you know how much we're talking about if you tell
- 32:34Speaker 1: me what the budget is. Okay, there are things I
- 32:38Speaker 1: can recommend. Let's do two thousand dollars.
- 32:41Speaker 7: Okay, two thousand dollars for a family of four.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Okay, sadly, chucky, che that's piece.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Yeah, well we ain't going what are you sounding like that?
- 33:00Speaker 1: Okay, all right here we go. Let me change that. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 1: we're gonna have to drive somewhere. We have to make
- 33:05Speaker 1: the gas budget be the how much? Okay, let me
- 33:09Speaker 1: show how much it costs fill up for an average
- 33:11Speaker 1: tank right now. Okay, so we need we need to
- 33:17Speaker 1: stay one gas tank going and one gas tank coming.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Were talking about one hundred and twenty dollars out the budget.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You know, man, we got to stay within one tank.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So we're talking about it's gotta be within three hundred miles. Now,
- 33:33Speaker 1: if we're gonna stay overnight, we gotta get in economically
- 33:38Speaker 1: feasible accommodation. Okay. These are stuff like comfort In sweets. Now,
- 33:45Speaker 1: reason you I would recommend comfort In because they had
- 33:49Speaker 1: a free breakfast. See that's saved money now, you know.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And they got free Wi Fi. So you gotta gotta
- 33:55Speaker 1: take this consideration. And if you stay at comfort In
- 33:58Speaker 1: you get points. I'm just working with just two thousand.
- 34:01Speaker 1: So everybody room at fifty dollars a night, would you
- 34:03Speaker 1: say that's fast sixty? So you need just two rooms,
- 34:07Speaker 1: one for the kids, you and a wife and roe
- 34:08Speaker 1: for the kids with a connected dough and lead a dough.
- 34:12Speaker 16: Yeah, like yeah, so.
- 34:13Speaker 1: They don't burn that hotel down. And then you got
- 34:16Speaker 1: other issues. So we got two rooms at let's say
- 34:21Speaker 1: seventy dollars five dollars a night. That's one hundred and
- 34:24Speaker 1: fifty two nights. Were looking at three hundred dollars in rooms.
- 34:28Speaker 1: How many nights we're gonna do two nights only? Well,
- 34:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to get it together. First
- 34:32Speaker 1: we got to stay somewhere. We're gonna do three fifty
- 34:35Speaker 1: four rooms, and we got one hundred and twenty on gas.
- 34:38Speaker 1: We about five fifty oh fifty something like that. Hey,
- 34:42Speaker 1: all right, now we got let's just say we got
- 34:45Speaker 1: fifteen hundred left. Okay, okay, that's some nice amount of money.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Did we eat get we we should make some sandwiches.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, a pack of cooler full of sandwich driving,
- 35:00Speaker 7: but make sandwiches that stick, peanut butter and jelly.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Sain't gonna been a whole lot of ham now, peanut
- 35:09Speaker 1: butter and jelly sandwiches tolemental spreading sandwiches. Everybody giving what
- 35:15Speaker 1: you don't want, just all we got.
- 35:18Speaker 16: You want to vacation, You want to eat.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Pork skins and water. You gotta get something in you
- 35:27Speaker 1: that swell punk skins and water. I'm familiar with ahole this,
- 35:33Speaker 1: this is what we got our blood breasts. We take
- 35:36Speaker 1: bagging and porch skins and drink a bottle of water.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You ain't even gonna know your hug, but at least
- 35:43Speaker 1: they quit crying. Heaven all right now when it got
- 35:48Speaker 1: us a little something to eat.
- 35:52Speaker 11: Bread and the kids are stopped up.
- 35:58Speaker 1: The hospital got we gotta have some activities. Now. Now
- 36:03Speaker 1: we go on to six Flags where the day pass
- 36:07Speaker 1: for everybody, or were going to the zoo where you
- 36:10Speaker 1: can really entertain kids and keep it on the budget.
- 36:15Speaker 1: All were going to a state park, pull up at
- 36:21Speaker 1: it where we can barbecue out there and then let
- 36:23Speaker 1: the kids run till they drop in open fields, and
- 36:29Speaker 1: you gotta put your grill what you only gonna stay
- 36:31Speaker 1: there and watch well on the other side away from
- 36:34Speaker 1: the car. Then you run your kids to the car
- 36:37Speaker 1: to get stuff that helps zap the energy out of
- 36:40Speaker 1: there and give them something to do. You can see
- 36:44Speaker 1: the car from your barbecue grill, but it's way across
- 36:47Speaker 1: the field. Send it back and forth across that field,
- 36:50Speaker 1: about six trips, and every time you send them say
- 36:54Speaker 1: he up wrong for this dog. I know how you
- 37:01Speaker 1: think you having fun because you're running in that steel.
- 37:05Speaker 1: That third trip back, they walk it walking through. Put
- 37:15Speaker 1: some responsibility on that alky. We gotta go.
- 37:19Speaker 16: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room? Probably because
- 37:30Speaker 1: advanced tech doesn't always mean more space until now introduce
- 37:35Speaker 1: it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row electric suv
- 37:39Speaker 1: with over three hundred miles of range, ultra fast charging capability,
- 37:43Speaker 1: and lots of space.
- 37:45Speaker 11: The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an ev
- 37:48Speaker 11: Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
- 37:51Speaker 11: rings for nine based on fully charged batteries for comparison
- 37:54Speaker 11: purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
- 37:58Speaker 7: It is time now, guys for founded would you rather?
- 38:01Speaker 7: This is the fourth of July Cookout edition. Okay, so
- 38:05Speaker 7: would you rather charcoal grill or gas grill?
- 38:11Speaker 6: Now?
- 38:11Speaker 1: I want to come on, I use I use lump charcoal,
- 38:16Speaker 1: which is actually good. I don't. I haven't used briskets
- 38:21Speaker 1: in yet. Why is she asking the cooking questions? Know
- 38:25Speaker 1: what we're talking about? Attitude? What we're talking mean? Would
- 38:34Speaker 1: what she asks? Coal or gas? I want you shut up?
- 38:45Speaker 7: Beef ribs or pork ribs? Would you rather beef ribs
- 38:48Speaker 7: or pork ribs?
- 38:49Speaker 1: More food?
- 38:50Speaker 11: Tommy, pork ribs, pork ribs, pork ribs.
- 38:55Speaker 1: And pork And when you put it on open fire
- 38:58Speaker 1: and you buy and you expose him to lump charcoal
- 39:02Speaker 1: with uh wood chips, is no longer pork anyway? It's
- 39:07Speaker 1: just what if it becomes a new meat, it's called
- 39:11Speaker 1: bobby c not s that.
- 39:15Speaker 15: Do O B B?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Why like Bobby Brown? Bobby b O B B Why
- 39:20Speaker 1: Bobby it's a whole new meat. It ain't ain't even pork. No, mom,
- 39:23Speaker 1: can't you because I don't really care for pork at all?
- 39:27Speaker 16: Uh huh?
- 39:28Speaker 1: But when I mean just go down just like beef.
- 39:33Speaker 1: All right, this is the wood.
- 39:35Speaker 7: You rather Fourth of July cookout edition flats or drums.
- 39:39Speaker 7: When it comes to chicken wings, you like the flats
- 39:42Speaker 7: or you like the drumstick, which flats?
- 39:44Speaker 1: You don't do that?
- 39:44Speaker 11: On the fourth you cook the whole wing, you don't
- 39:47Speaker 11: do you don't break that.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Up like that.
- 39:49Speaker 15: You got too different.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Stuff.
- 39:52Speaker 11: That's that's super Bowl. You talking about it with flats
- 39:54Speaker 11: and drum This is the four you cook the.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Whole flat period. Yeah, he is telling the truth, though
- 40:02Speaker 1: he is. I like kluts. I don't care what holiday
- 40:06Speaker 1: it is, all right.

- 55:48Speaker 7: it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm with
- 55:51Speaker 7: some furniture around last weekend in my new place. It
- 55:53Speaker 7: turns out that was a really bad idea because all
- 55:56Speaker 7: that bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty five,
- 56:00Speaker 7: I didn't agree with my knees. So I grabbed a
- 56:03Speaker 7: leave because when my body pain shows up, I need
- 56:05Speaker 7: something that lasts with just one pill, a leave lass
- 56:09Speaker 7: up to twelve hours. Don't let those aches and pains
- 56:11Speaker 7: hold you back from doing what's important to you. Use

- 56:47Speaker 15: got it for you.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:50Speaker 7: Thank you, nephew, welcome back again. Subject I don't like
- 56:53Speaker 7: to share. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty nine year
- 56:57Speaker 7: old female and I'm an only child and a daddy's girl.
- 57:01Speaker 7: I met a man that is also an only child,
- 57:03Speaker 7: and we hit it off instantly. He was raised by
- 57:06Speaker 7: a single mom and they are the best of friends.
- 57:09Speaker 7: The way he treats her let me know that he
- 57:12Speaker 7: is a good man. He has a lot of characteristics
- 57:16Speaker 7: of my father, and even though he is five years younger,
- 57:20Speaker 7: he's got a great career and his own home. I
- 57:23Speaker 7: love everything about him, but I do have one pet,
- 57:27Speaker 7: peeve he's way too comfortable too soon with me. We
- 57:32Speaker 7: started being intimate two months after we met. He assumed
- 57:36Speaker 7: it was fine to stay overnight with me. The first
- 57:38Speaker 7: time we had sex. I let him stay because I
- 57:42Speaker 7: wanted seconds. He slept in a pair of my joggers
- 57:45Speaker 7: that were lying on a chair in my room. He's
- 57:48Speaker 7: tall and thin, so they fit, but he didn't even
- 57:51Speaker 7: ask first. He did not have on underwear with my pants,
- 57:55Speaker 7: and that grossed me out. When he left, I threw
- 57:58Speaker 7: them away. From then on, he has made himself at
- 58:01Speaker 7: home at my house, and he's even left a pair
- 58:03Speaker 7: of pajama bottoms so he can be comfortable when he
- 58:07Speaker 7: is visiting. When we're eating, he loves to sample my
- 58:10Speaker 7: food without asking, and he digs into my plate with
- 58:14Speaker 7: his nasty fork.
- 58:15Speaker 1: He says he is a sharer, and I have told.
- 58:18Speaker 16: Him that I am not.
- 58:20Speaker 7: I explain to him that it's the only only child thing,
- 58:23Speaker 7: and he is dead set on changing me. I drink
- 58:27Speaker 7: wine and he usually drinks hard liquor. Now if he
- 58:30Speaker 7: buys me a bottle of wine, he drinks half of
- 58:33Speaker 7: it because he thinks it's cute if we drink the
- 58:36Speaker 7: same thing. He's overstepping all of my boundaries when it
- 58:39Speaker 7: comes to my personal things and my personal space. The
- 58:43Speaker 7: final straw was when he used my bathtowel right after
- 58:46Speaker 7: I dry it off with it. Should I learn to
- 58:49Speaker 7: accept this or tell him nicely to knock it off?
- 58:52Speaker 7: I mean, you know, you don't have to learn to
- 58:54Speaker 7: accept anything if you don't want to accept it. But
- 58:57Speaker 7: you were accepting it. I mean initially you didn't say anything.
- 59:02Speaker 7: You talk about he's comfortable too soon. I mean, you
- 59:05Speaker 7: guys were intimate two months after you met. He wanted
- 59:09Speaker 7: to stay over. You didn't say anything. Then you said
- 59:11Speaker 7: that was fine because you wanted seconds. Now you're complaining,
- 59:15Speaker 7: saying he's way too comfortable. You guys haven't known each
- 59:19Speaker 7: other that long. That one pet peeve you have. That's
- 59:22Speaker 7: a big one. But you got to tell him not us.
- 59:26Speaker 7: You've told him that you're not a sharer after he
- 59:28Speaker 7: said he was, but he ignored you. He's trying to
- 59:31Speaker 7: change you, So you got to make him understand. It
- 59:33Speaker 7: doesn't have to be a fight or anything like that.
- 59:35Speaker 7: You can do it nicely. You just got to let
- 59:37Speaker 7: him know that you are serious about your boundaries, if
- 59:40Speaker 7: you truly are or are you making up these.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Rules as you go along.
- 59:45Speaker 7: The things that he does now after you've slept with
- 59:47Speaker 7: him are starting to gross you out. I mean, I
- 59:50Speaker 7: agree with you, everyone needs privacy, everyone needs some space,
- 59:53Speaker 7: But what's wrong with sitting him down and telling him,
- 59:56Speaker 7: you know, in an.
- 59:57Speaker 16: Adult way, how you feel.
- 59:58Speaker 7: He doesn't sound He's gonna listen again, he said, you
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: said he's gonna try to change you. But he needs
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: to know that you're serious now, you know, if you're
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: taking this relationship any further. These are simple things, I mean,
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: things that he really should have been learned at home
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: about boundaries, and since he didn't just let him know,
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: I mean, you could be nice. This is even crazier
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: because he said he has his own house, so why
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: isn't he at his own house? Have you been to
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: his own house? Have you seen his own house? Maybe
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: that's the reason he's staying with you. Maybe his house
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: is a mess. I mean boundaries are important. Yeah, I
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: don't think this is anything to fight about or anything
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: like that. I just think you need to get it
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: straight with him and let him know how you really
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: really feel.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Steve, I think this relationship needs to end. I don't
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: think this woman needs to be in a relationship. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: see a totally different letter here. I don't like to share. Well,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: that's interesting, because ain't that all the relationship is built
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: around sharing? It's a you can't have relationship if you
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: don't like to share, because the most important thing you're
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: gonna be sharing sharing two most important things you're gonna
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: be sharing is time and space. And that means somebody
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: else is in your time and somebody else is in
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: your space. And if you don't like to share, you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: got a problem. But I knew this letter was gonna
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: be a problem by the way it started. I'm a
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: twenty nine year old female. I'm an only child and
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: a daddy's girl. I met a man that is also
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: an only child, and we hit it off instantly. Well,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: ain't this about peaches and cream?
- 1:01:38Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: If this ain't about the lot, he do? If this
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: ain't about the chick and meet the rooster right here,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Lord have mercy. What a perfect match. Two only children
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: have joined for us. Well, the problem is one of
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: these children don't get it. And the one that don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: get it is the lady that wrote the letter. He
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: was raised by a single mom and they are the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: best of friends. Oh, being a law Oh, I know
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: what that is right there. I know you're thinking mama's boy.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: It could be, but that don't show up in the letter,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: but it shows up on some other stuff. The way
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he treats her lets me know that he's a good man. Okay,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: He's got a lot of characteristics of my father, and
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: even though he's five years younger, he's got a great career.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Now you twenty nine, he twenty four. Lady, this dude
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: ain't all there right now. But then I got news
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: for you. You ain't either. I love everything about him,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: but I do have one pet, peeve, he's way too
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: comfortable too soon with me. We started being intimate two
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: months after we met. He assumed it was fine to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: stay overnight with me the first time we had sex.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I let him stay because I wanted seconds. Okay, Well, well, okay,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: what's problem? He stayed over? You want it to okay?
- 1:02:54Speaker 16: Cool?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: When I come back, I'm gonna tell you what's wrong
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: with her? All right, Steve.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: Part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:05Speaker 16: Subject is I don't like to share.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: We'll be back part two right after this. You're listening

- 1:03:51Speaker 7: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: The subject is I don't like to share.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna be a little bit more direct this
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: of the letter. So let me start the letter by
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: saying I don't like the share well and understand why.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: So let's begin this letter like this. This is a
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: twenty nine year old female who is an only child
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: and a daddy's girl. Right there, you're dealing with the
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: person the way. It's about me. It's about me. I'm
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: an only child. It's about me. Watch how spoiled and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: selfish this letter really turns out to be. The man
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: you met is five years younger. He's twenty four. He
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: was raised by a single mom. They the best of friends.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: You could tell he's a good man by the way
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: he treats his mother. Blah blah blah blah blah. He
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: got a great career in his own home, twenty four
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: with his own home. That's a good hustle right there.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I love everything about him, but I do have one pet, peeve,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: he's too comfortable, too soon with me. Now you all
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: started being into it. Two months after we met, he
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: assumed it was fine to stay overnight with me the
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: first time we had set Okay, I let him stay
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: because I wanted seconds I let him stay because I
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: wanted seconds, not the fact that he was caught up
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: sprung and he wanted to stay. You want the seconds,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: and you let him stay. He slept in a pair
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: of my joggers that were lying on a chair my room.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: This way to let her get a little shaky for me.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: He slept in a pair of my joggers that was
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: laying on a chair in my room. He's tall and thin,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: so they fit. I'm glad you cleared that up right there,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: cause I don't know. I ain't they did more. I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: could wear her sweatpants. Now, either you dating the love
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: be there man, or you a grave big girl, now
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: one of the two. But hey, y'all in here wearing
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: each other pants. Now, I don't know how that works.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I ain't saying what you are, but you know you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: need to pull up a little bit. But he didn't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: even ask first, He just put them on. He did
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: not have on underwear with my pants, so that gross
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: me out. Wait a minute, didn't you just sleep with him?
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Wait a minute, didn't y'all just have sex? Then y'all
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: climb on each other? Now? You mad because he got
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: some pants on with no draws on.
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: It.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I don't understand you. How selfish and self centered are you?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: He didn't have on the underwear, and that grows from
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: out when he left, I threw him away. Okay. From
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: then on he has made himself at home at my house,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: and he's even left are pair of pajama bottoms there
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: so he can be comfortable when he's visiting where you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: threw weight the jogs.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: With.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Man needs something. At least he bought his own pajamas.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: You threw the joggers. He thought he'd wear them last time.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: He'd have been through all the draws and can't find
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: them nowhere, right, you threw them away. When we're eating,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: he loves to sample my food without asking, and he
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: digs into my plate with his nasty fork, his nasty
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: force done. Wasn't y'all kissing? Yes, see that nasty fork
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: that because it's been in his mouth. You ain't been
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: in his mouth. How did y'all get to the sex part?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Wasn't no kissing. You ain't get it, wasn't no warm up? Okay.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: He says he's a sharer, and I have told him
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I am not. That's because you're only child and you
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: a daddy's girl. You're just a selfish, self centered girl.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Y'all don't think you understand how relationship work. I've explained
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to him that it's an only child thing, and he's
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: dead set on changing it. I drink wine and he
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: usually drinks hard liquor. Now, if he buys me a
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: bottle of wine, he drinks half of it because he
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: thinks it's cute that we drink the same thing. Wait
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: a minute, the man buy a bottle of wine, you
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: want that all to yourself too, So he can't buy
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a wall of wine and see with his girl have
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a glass of wine. You don't share that either, because
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: he thinks it's cute if we drink the same thing.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: He's overstepping all of my boundaries. Lady, you really don't
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: need to be in a relationship because it's your way
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: of the highway when it comes to my personal things.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: At my personal space. I just told you at the
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: top of the letter, the two things in the relationship
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: that you share the most of is time and space. Now,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: if you don't want the man over there, then you
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: don't want to be in a relationship. Just use him
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: for your little sex toy. He five years younger, he's
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: your little boy toy and send him home. But don't
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: have a man thinking he in a relationship with you
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that y'all should drink wine together and stuff. Clearly you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: want all a wine to yourself. The final struggle was
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: when he used my bath tiel after I dried off
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: with it.
- 1:08:34Speaker 16: Now that was nasty.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: How many times they got that?
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: You got enough time?
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Should I learn to acceptance or tell them nicely to
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: knock it off? Here's my answer to this letter, y'all
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: need to break up. You don't like sharing? Yes, hopefully
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: she don't like sharing nothing. She don't want to share nothing.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: She shared her body and these are the examples that
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: she's told about. These are the extreme examples. She don't
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: like sharing. She told her man she's not a sharing person.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: How do you have a relationship and you're not a
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: share of You got to get past this, and now
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: she's comfortable to a degree. I'm comfortable to sleep with you.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I'm comfortable to share my body with you, but I
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: don't want you wearing my jobs in pants. I don't
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: want you eating off with your nasty fork. You get
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: in my pants, but you can't get in my pants.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: You know what I mean, you can't you get in
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: my pants, but you can't wear my pants. That don't
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: make no sense.
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I can stick my tongue in your mouth. You can
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: stick your tongue in my mouth, but you can't stick
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: your fork in my plate. That don't make no sense.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: All right, all right, she's selfish. I don't get it.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: You know, the dude is twenty four, your kid.
- 1:09:50Speaker 16: I think it's a boundary, is sure?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: All right?

- 1:13:50Speaker 1: got to go. Hi, this is Milicial and you're listening
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Moore Show. All right,
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: so Steve, this is from Devon On Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: Devin says, what do you do when you find out
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: you're just friends in the middle of a date that
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: you're on? So over the weekend, I was out on
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: a fourth date with a girl that I'm really into.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: While we were out, she ran into a few of
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: her friends. At first, it was odd that she didn't
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: go out of her way to introduce me. Then it
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: appeared that she was making it a point to tell
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: them that we are quote just friends, considering that at
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: the end of the first three dates, there was some
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: increasingly serious making out going on. I'm curious how I
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: got publicly friend zoned, but a totally different story in private.
- 1:14:44Speaker 16: What's the best way to handle.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: This, brud? Just keep on the full court press, hey,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: don At the end of the three dates, there's some
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: serious romance going on. You ain't had sex dat, but
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: y'all making out, You good, healing, y'all still friends? What's wrong?
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: Dog?
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: You got friends on? Keep showing up, keep doing what
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: you do.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: Dog.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: She just making it clear, y'all. Just frisdh. She testing
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: the water. You know how you you know a dog?
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: You gotta pass the test, pimp.
- 1:15:15Speaker 15: That's all it is.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Now you're lucky, you know you know, I mean it
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: ain't finna go no fast? Now? This the speed she
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: want to take it that you you push it if
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you want to. Now at least she's still on dates. Yeah, no, dog,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Now she trying to figure out if she can stand
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: this or not. Look in the mirror, you probably ain't
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: that attracted.
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: Is that why she friends?
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Pretty much? It she done told all her friends, no, no, hey,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: we just friend. But she know she know, she know
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: he a little hard on the eyes, so you know
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: she can told her friends, now you got to overprove
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: yourself now because you're not attracted, keep going.
- 1:15:58Speaker 16: Is she embarrassed by Is that what you're saying, because
- 1:16:01Speaker 16: he's not.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: A little bit a little bit you know, you know,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: just because on site, you know, she looking over there
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: at her friends talking about girl who that are we
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: just friends? We're just going out with okay, girl who?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Because I was been in the same that's what the
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: girls are saying. Yeah, because she gotta figure out if
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: she can change outfits and you know, get you to
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: get the right line and you know, you know, you know,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: get you to the right ball. But she's trying to
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: see you know she could deal with that tooth like
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: that's missing, you know when you get you know, the
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: saying tooth gone. You gotta see if she can talk
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you into that folk she make a commitment. That's how
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: women do. You gotta see if you know, you gotta
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: be open for change.
- 1:16:46Speaker 16: Oh okay, now I like that.
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: I do like that.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, because women, like I say, all men
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: will change, but this and all men can change, but
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the only one woman would change for So she gonna
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: see if she could work with you on a couple
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: of things. You know, will you use this lotion my ass?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: She yeah, you know, it's just little stuff like that.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Will you get that cat? Put on that tooth? She
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: smile and turn sideways and she looking up at sea
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: food in your mouth when you sideways. That ain't ain't
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: nobody finna do that on the dates. But she'd have
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: kissed you a couple of times. That's why they went
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: fast kissing, because she'd have kissed you a couple of times.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: And her tongue that slid in that little hole and
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: made her made her a little bit uncomfortable though, Yeah,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: he said in her Yeah, yeah, that's a problem. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: it's all right that she's still going out with you.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: She's just trying to figure out if she's gonna be
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: able to get you to make these change. Looking at
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: me a dog, you know what, this ain't the first time.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Let's stop all this class.
- 1:18:00Speaker 16: You say this with so much confidence in a too.

- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the tree. I know where he is, know it. In
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: my life the only thing helped me out with money.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: See you, you got to understand what that is now
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: and you got to kill him with kindness. Dog. I've
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: been doing that my whole life. That's how I know this.
