Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Trump has BIG PLANS for 2nd Term but Democrats See It as a Threat to Democracy
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There are headlines that hit me and I just smile
- 0:03Speaker 1: and grin this one coming from Yahoo News. Trump has
- 0:09Speaker 1: big plans for a second term. Critics say they pose
- 0:14Speaker 1: a threat to democracy. This is how you know that
- 0:18Speaker 1: they're really terrified that Donald Trump may actually win reelection
- 0:22Speaker 1: based on the polling data we're seeing about Joe Biden
- 0:25Speaker 1: right now and him being eighty one and in massive
- 0:28Speaker 1: cognitive decline. This article, and it's amazing. I'm going to
- 0:34Speaker 1: read the beginning of it. It says former President Donald
- 0:36Speaker 1: Trump's campaign is developing plans to use the federal government
- 0:40Speaker 1: to punish his political opponents if he wins a second
- 0:43Speaker 1: term next year, or as I would describe it, drin
- 0:46Speaker 1: swamp and critics, including some prominent Republicans, even some staffers
- 0:52Speaker 1: from his first term, say these plans would in peril
- 0:54Speaker 1: America's democracy. I love this first paragraph, and we just
- 1:00Speaker 1: real quick go over what is imperiled America's democracy under
- 1:04Speaker 1: the Biden administration, real quick, and the Democratic Party. They
- 1:08Speaker 1: framed the President of the United States of America for
- 1:10Speaker 1: crimes he didn't commit. They said that he was working
- 1:12Speaker 1: with the Russians, that he was a spy for Russia.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Never happened. They put together a dossier that they paid
- 1:18Speaker 1: for Hillary Clinton paid for it in the Democratic National Committee,
- 1:21Speaker 1: that they knew was a lie, and then use it
- 1:22Speaker 1: to try to overthrow the will of the people.
- 1:24Speaker 2: That's called a coup attempt.
- 1:26Speaker 1: With impeaching of Donald Trump the first time, they then
- 1:30Speaker 1: cover up the crimes of a former vice president now
- 1:33Speaker 1: president of the United States of America, then impeach him
- 1:36Speaker 1: a second time for a phone call he had in
- 1:38Speaker 1: Ukraine about the crimes being committed by the Biden crime family.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And you want me to believe that.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Donald Trump getting re elected would in peril America's democracy? Really,
- 1:51Speaker 1: And that's just paragraph one. This communist propaganda gets even better.
- 1:56Speaker 1: On the campaign trail, Trump has made numerous public references
- 1:59Speaker 1: to extracting revenge upon detractors and rivals, including promising to
- 2:06Speaker 1: appoint a special counsel to go after President Biden for
- 2:09Speaker 1: unspecified crimes.
- 2:10Speaker 2: That's actually not true. He's been very specific.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's all the crimes have been committed by this president
- 2:15Speaker 1: when it comes to selling out America. It's all the
- 2:17Speaker 1: crimes that should have been investigated against Hunter Biden, James Biden,
- 2:21Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Then the same thing the House is now
- 2:23Speaker 1: looking into with the House Impeachment inquiry. The millions and
- 2:26Speaker 1: millions of dollars coming from our adversaries, millions coming from
- 2:30Speaker 1: Russia and oligarchs directly tied to Vladimir Putin, the former
- 2:33Speaker 1: mayor of Moscow's wife, the richest woman in Russia, giving
- 2:37Speaker 1: millions of dollars directly the Biden crime family. That's not all.
- 2:42Speaker 1: It gets worse Earlier this month, the article writes this.
- 2:47Speaker 1: In a speech and in a post on True Social
- 2:50Speaker 1: he referred to left wing Americans as vermin.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I can't disagree with that.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think that if you're trying to overthrow the will
- 2:56Speaker 1: of the people, you are vermin.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I think if you.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Together of fake Dalsier and then try to impeach the
- 3:02Speaker 1: President of the.
- 3:03Speaker 2: United States of America over it, you are vermin.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Historians said such dehumanizing of one's political opponents is frequently
- 3:12Speaker 1: used by fascist dictators.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Ah.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Really, that's where you're going to go with this article.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Let me read that again. Historians said such dehumanizing of
- 3:21Speaker 1: one's political opponents is frequently used by fascist dictators. Okay,
- 3:25Speaker 1: let's go back to January sixth and the New January sixth,
- 3:28Speaker 1: tapes that have come out.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Have you guys been watching these tapes.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I've been posting some of them on Facebook and on
- 3:33Speaker 1: Instagram of the men and women who were not violent
- 3:37Speaker 1: walking through the capital, not doing violent things, people that
- 3:41Speaker 1: have been arrested and put into prison for years. Have
- 3:45Speaker 1: you seen these because it's not scary. There were some
- 3:48Speaker 1: that committed crimes, yes, but the overall mass majority were
- 3:52Speaker 1: not insurrectionists. They were tourists that were walking through. In fact,
- 3:55Speaker 1: some of the doors were opened by Capitol police. And
- 3:58Speaker 1: now those people just because they walked around took pictures,
- 4:01Speaker 1: they have been arrested in, their lives have been destroyed,
- 4:03Speaker 1: their families have been ruined financially, and then you want
- 4:07Speaker 1: to write this sentence. Historians said such dehumanizing of one's
- 4:10Speaker 1: political opponents is frequently used by fascist dictators. Do you
- 4:14Speaker 1: know what the Democrats have said to dehumanize Donald Trump? And,
- 4:18Speaker 1: by the way, donald Trump's supporters do. We need to
- 4:20Speaker 1: go back and remind you of what has been said
- 4:24Speaker 1: by the media about those that voted for Donald Trump.
- 4:29Speaker 1: They said we needed re education camps in this country.
- 4:34Speaker 1: If you voted for Donald Trump. Let me play this
- 4:38Speaker 1: and Diaz, my producer. Pay very close attention because this
- 4:42Speaker 1: is a cut that we put together and I got
- 4:45Speaker 1: to get my producer, DA has a lot of credit
- 4:46Speaker 1: for this. But I want you to hear the Democratic
- 4:49Speaker 1: Party talking about how we need to have and the
- 4:52Speaker 1: insurrectionists we need to have and send them to re
- 4:54Speaker 1: education camps.
- 4:56Speaker 2: If you voted for Donald J.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Trump, and sadly, so many of those extremists, those mega extremists, take.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Their marching orders from Donald Trump. And when do they
- 5:06Speaker 2: break with him?
- 5:07Speaker 3: You know, because at some point, you know, maybe there
- 5:11Speaker 3: needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Terms being tossed around like deprogramming Trump followers.
- 5:18Speaker 1: All of America needs deprogramming because we've all been negatively
- 5:23Speaker 1: influenced by Donald Trump.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Can't sit down with people that don't recognize there was
- 5:28Speaker 5: an insurrection, or they can alluded the other day to
- 5:30Speaker 5: the deprogramming that Katie Kurk talked about.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Deprogramming that might work in other cases, is it's obviously
- 5:39Speaker 6: proven to be difficult.
- 5:39Speaker 4: And many of them have allowed the lies really to
- 5:42Speaker 4: seep into their soul and it's beginning to rot their minds.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Taking it even a step further, Raskin told The New
- 5:48Speaker 3: York Times that he's ordered books about cults and deprogramming
- 5:51Speaker 3: to try to understand his Republican colleagues.
- 5:55Speaker 6: There are a couple accounts lives of TikTok, a few,
- 5:57Speaker 6: you know, really prominent anti transit and sort of far
- 5:59Speaker 6: right out activists.
- 6:00Speaker 2: You started to.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Essentially make the argument that any exposure to children about
- 6:06Speaker 6: LGBT people is automatically grooming.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It seems to be involved in anti gay trolls.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Explain how not just.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Lives of TikTok with this guy, James Lindsay. They would say, Hey,
- 6:17Speaker 6: there's going to be something at this library. You know
- 6:19Speaker 6: that they're going to read books. You know a dragon
- 6:21Speaker 6: is going to come and read books.
- 6:23Speaker 2: How do you fix it? How do you want to
- 6:24Speaker 2: do it? Well, at this point, you know it's deprogramming.
- 6:27Speaker 4: That's what we're being fed. People of other races are
- 6:31Speaker 4: out to get you. We accept that. We get fed that,
- 6:34Speaker 4: and so when that doorbell rings or the basketball comes
- 6:36Speaker 4: into your yard, your first response is.
- 6:39Speaker 2: To pull that gun.
- 6:40Speaker 4: It's a programming that's occurring. The deprogramming question is much
- 6:45Speaker 4: tougher to answer.
- 6:46Speaker 5: People have literally been brainwashed and it's scary by the
- 6:49Speaker 5: myths and disinformation that is online that is being the
- 6:53Speaker 5: propaganda on Fox News. It is another epidemic that our
- 6:57Speaker 5: country is facing. And until we really platforms accountable, until
- 7:01Speaker 5: we really do some deprogramming.
- 7:03Speaker 6: And anyone like him that says the presses the enemy
- 7:08Speaker 6: of the people, that's what Hubbard would.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Say, That's what Moon said.
- 7:11Speaker 3: If you said this is a cult, what's the first
- 7:13Speaker 3: step of deprogramming?
- 7:14Speaker 1: The first step with anyone who's a true believer is
- 7:17Speaker 1: contact with people that are outside the bubble.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I mean, I was just trying to engage in a
- 7:22Speaker 4: little deprogramming with all of these myths about COVID nineteen.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Is there any convincing those people that they're not living
- 7:32Speaker 6: in a world of reality or fact?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Now, listen, if there was a deprogramming.
- 7:37Speaker 7: Pill that I could put in everybody stocking.
- 7:39Speaker 2: For Christmas, I would do.
- 7:40Speaker 7: It's because of Facebook. It's gotten out into wine moms
- 7:43Speaker 7: and yoga groups and some maybe that's something that started
- 7:46Speaker 7: as innocuous online that turns into something completely different, Brian,
- 7:51Speaker 7: And that's part of the challenge, as you write of
- 7:53Speaker 7: deprogramming it.
- 7:55Speaker 8: Have we have issues that are going to take a
- 7:57Speaker 8: long time to root out, and it's really about depro
- 8:00Speaker 8: People have been listening to stuff coming from Marjorie Taylor
- 8:03Speaker 8: Green and other big social influencers, and that includes the President.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I hope deprogramming some people, one person at a time.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They just need a little bit of affirmation. You know,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I've just spent a lot of time reading about deprogramming,
- 8:14Speaker 2: deprogramming program. You're reading my mind. Yeah, I see a
- 8:18Speaker 2: lot of that happeningly. No, you don't need to be deprogrammed.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You look pretty No, No, I'm not talking about.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Me, but deprogramming. The Democratic Party wants re education camps
- 8:30Speaker 1: for anyone that votes for Donald Trump or maga conservatives.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And you go back to this article and what was
- 8:36Speaker 1: just written and the line that I just read you,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and they say historians said such dehumanizing of one's political
- 8:46Speaker 1: opponents is frequently used by fascist dictators. Ask yourself this question,
- 8:52Speaker 1: who are the fascists?
- 8:53Speaker 2: I just played you a bunch of them.
- 8:56Speaker 1: For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian
- 9:00Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And when I say the only one, I mean it.
- 9:03Speaker 2: They're the only one.
- 9:05Speaker 1: They make a huge difference every time that you pay
- 9:07Speaker 1: your bill because they actually get back to conservative causes
- 9:10Speaker 1: and organizations to help you stand up for what you
- 9:15Speaker 1: believe in. While you're paying a bill you're going to
- 9:17Speaker 1: have anyways. This is the part that I love about
- 9:20Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. They're making a difference. Every time you pay
- 9:24Speaker 1: your bill, every time you make a phone call, every
- 9:27Speaker 1: time that you send a text message, Patriot Mobile actually
- 9:31Speaker 1: gives money back to protect First and Second Amendment rights,
- 9:35Speaker 1: to protect the lives of unborn children. And that's what
- 9:39Speaker 1: they're doing right now, is they celebrate their tenth anniversary.
- 9:42Speaker 1: If you switch right now to Patriot Mobile, they are
- 9:46Speaker 1: going to give a donation to help protect life and
- 9:49Speaker 1: to help mothers choose life to an organization that does
- 9:53Speaker 1: everything they can to protect the lives of unborn children.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Then every month when you pay your bill, they're going
- 10:00Speaker 1: to continue to support the causes that I just mentioned.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And this is exactly why you need to make the switch.
- 10:07Speaker 1: If you're tired of woke companies, switch your cell phone
- 10:11Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile. Whether you are a business, a small business,
- 10:15Speaker 1: or just a family, you can switch, and they make
- 10:18Speaker 1: switching easy. They have a one hundred percent US based
- 10:21Speaker 1: call center, making switching extremely easy. You're gonna get nationwide coverage,
- 10:26Speaker 1: unlimited talking texts, and usually save real money on your bill.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Nine seven to two Patriot. It's nine seven to two Patriot,
- 10:34Speaker 1: nine seven to two Patriot. Or go online to Patriot
- 10:37Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ben. That's Patriot Mobile dot com
- 10:41Speaker 1: slash ben or nine seven to two Patriot. Earlier this month,
- 10:46Speaker 1: in a speech and a post on true Social Trump
- 10:49Speaker 1: reference left wing Americans is vermin historians.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'll go back to this line to put it in
- 10:54Speaker 2: context for you. Said.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Such dehumanizing of one's political opponents is frequently.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Used by fascist dictators.
- 11:01Speaker 1: The article clearly implying that Donald Trump is a fascist dictator.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Trump's campaign spokesman Stephen Chung responded by saying, quote those
- 11:09Speaker 1: who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes
- 11:13Speaker 1: grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump derangement syndrome,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns.
- 11:20Speaker 2: To the White House.
- 11:23Speaker 1: According to the Washington Post, however, Trump has privately said
- 11:26Speaker 1: he will direct the Department of Justice to investigate officials
- 11:30Speaker 1: from his first term who have since criticized his tenure,
- 11:33Speaker 1: including former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. Not
- 11:37Speaker 1: sure if that's true. Haven't heard that, but hey, let's
- 11:39Speaker 1: start it out there anyway. Former Attorney General Bill Barr.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Not true, but okay, sure, let's throw that out there.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Former Joint chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milly, former Trump
- 11:49Speaker 1: White House Special counsel ty cop. According to his advisor,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Trump intends of fire up to tens of thousands of
- 11:56Speaker 1: career government professionals. That's awesome, and replace him with his allies,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and refuses to spend congressional appropriations on programs that he opposes. Well,
- 12:06Speaker 1: when you want elections, that's what you get to do.
- 12:09Speaker 1: There's consequences. And by the way, I love that they're
- 12:11Speaker 1: acting like this is some secret war when Donald Trump's
- 12:14Speaker 1: the one that's been talking about this.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Like over and over and over and over and over again.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Donald Trump has said, I'm going to finish my job
- 12:21Speaker 1: of draining the swamp. He intends the fire up to
- 12:23Speaker 1: tens of thousands of career government professionals. That's good news
- 12:26Speaker 1: to me. Like fire them all and let's start all over.
- 12:31Speaker 1: The New York Times report that Trump plans to crack
- 12:33Speaker 1: down illegal immigration. Yes, I love that let's do it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: That doesn't scare me, that makes me want to vote
- 12:41Speaker 1: for him. Using military funds to erect detention camps.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I have no problem with that.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Where we have a wide open southern border, we have
- 12:51Speaker 1: millions and millions of people coming in, it's a problem.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Using public health emergency laws to shut down asylum requests
- 12:58Speaker 1: at the border.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I love that. Let's do it.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This isn't crazy. This is what you do when you
- 13:02Speaker 1: have an invasion happening of your southern border. Ending birthright
- 13:07Speaker 1: citizenship for babies born in the US to undocumented immigrants.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Not sure the courts would allow that to happen. That's
- 13:12Speaker 1: something that the President had mentioned in the past, but
- 13:14Speaker 1: not recently.
- 13:15Speaker 2: But hey, let's slander to Heaven. Put that in there
- 13:17Speaker 2: as well.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Trump also reportedly plans to send the military into Mexico
- 13:21Speaker 1: to combat drug cartels, whether or without the Mexican government's permission.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I actually kind of dig this. And here's why they're
- 13:28Speaker 1: killing Americans. Fetanol is killing countless Americans, and the fetanyl's
- 13:33Speaker 1: coming across the southern border, and that southern border is
- 13:37Speaker 1: being exploited by the drug cartels, and the drug cartels
- 13:40Speaker 1: should be looked at as domestic terrorists or should be
- 13:43Speaker 1: looked as terrorists organizations, so all the more reason.
- 13:47Speaker 2: For that to happen. I love that idea. I think
- 13:50Speaker 2: it's great.
- 13:51Speaker 1: That doesn't scare me, that makes me want to vote
- 13:54Speaker 1: for him. And that's the part that makes me laugh
- 13:57Speaker 1: about this article is they're acting like this is something on.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Him idea here, No, it's not. Quote.
- 14:03Speaker 1: A number of high profile Republicans elected a Republican elected officials,
- 14:08Speaker 1: conservative legal scholars, and veterans of Trump's first term in
- 14:11Speaker 1: office have said Trump's intentions would weaken the justice system
- 14:15Speaker 1: and threaten the rule of law. Well, that's not true.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We don't have a justice system right now, and the
- 14:20Speaker 1: rule of law doesn't exist when it comes to legal immigrants.
- 14:22Speaker 1: For example, what our southern border. There's two sets of
- 14:25Speaker 1: standards here. Look at the Biden crime family compared to
- 14:28Speaker 1: all the indictments of Donald Trump. Look at the raid
- 14:32Speaker 1: on our lago but no rate of Joe Biden's home.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Look at how they stopped the worst crimes that were
- 14:40Speaker 1: committed by Hunter Biden from being prosecuted. Look at how
- 14:44Speaker 1: the DOJ protected the Biden crime family at all costs.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Here the article says are some of the most noticeable criticisms.
- 14:54Speaker 1: He cannot be the next president because if he is,
- 14:56Speaker 1: all of the things that he attempts to do but
- 14:58Speaker 1: was stopped from doing by responsible p people around him
- 15:00Speaker 1: at the Department of Justice, at the White House Council's Office,
- 15:03Speaker 1: all those things he will do, there will be no
- 15:05Speaker 1: guard reels his policies. By the way, that was from
- 15:09Speaker 1: Sarah Matthews, former Trump White House and campaign press eight.
- 15:13Speaker 2: These are disgruntled former employees.
- 15:16Speaker 1: His policies are not centered around improving the lives of
- 15:18Speaker 1: his supporters or Americans in general. It's centered around consolidating
- 15:22Speaker 1: power for Trump. That way he can wield it to
- 15:26Speaker 1: enact the revenge on anyone who deems as an enemy.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And that is what is scary.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Who's that Liz Cheney saying that, so this you're supposed
- 15:34Speaker 1: to be freaking out over these comments. Really, I am
- 15:37Speaker 1: more worried for America today than I was on January sixth.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Trump's election would be catastrophic for America's democracy. That's what
- 15:44Speaker 1: former Trump appoint Attorney General Rod Rosensteide said. Former Trump
- 15:48Speaker 1: administration National security advisor John Bolton, who hates Donald Trump
- 15:52Speaker 1: more than anybody says, quote, making prosecutal decisions is a
- 15:56Speaker 1: in a non person manner, is essential to democracy. Should
- 16:00Speaker 1: not be meddling in individual cases for political reasons center
- 16:04Speaker 1: Mitt Romney.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Oh, so this is who we're now naming in these articles.
- 16:07Speaker 2: It's hysterical.
- 16:08Speaker 1: He doesn't think in policy directions when he makes decisions,
- 16:10Speaker 1: certainly in the national security space. It's a guy that
- 16:12Speaker 1: can't even win reelection. By the way we're quoting now,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Mitt Romney, it's all connected to how things benefit Donald Trump.
- 16:19Speaker 1: In a second Trump term, we'd almost certainly withdraw from NATO.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I'm okay with looking at the world and saying, why
- 16:27Speaker 1: are we giving all this money the UN in place
- 16:29Speaker 1: like NATO when other countries aren't stepping up.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I'd be fine with looking at that. I don't think
- 16:33Speaker 2: that scares me.
- 16:35Speaker 1: The idea that it scares me, that it would scare
- 16:37Speaker 1: you as a joke, Donald Trump represents a failure of character,
- 16:41Speaker 1: which is changing. I think in many respects the psyche
- 16:45Speaker 1: of our nation, the heart of our nation, and that's
- 16:47Speaker 1: something that makes a something that takes a long time,
- 16:50Speaker 1: if ever, to quote unquote repair. Again, that doesn't scare me.
- 16:56Speaker 2: The idea that.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm just be afraid of Donald Trump when I look
- 16:58Speaker 1: at what the with the the government is doing right
- 17:01Speaker 1: now to Donald Trump, that, by the way, is what
- 17:05Speaker 1: scares me. For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's
- 17:09Speaker 1: only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 17:12Speaker 2: And when I say the only one, I mean it.
- 17:14Speaker 2: They're the only one.
- 17:15Speaker 1: They make a huge difference every time that you pay
- 17:17Speaker 1: your bill because they actually get back to conservative causes
- 17:20Speaker 1: and organizations to help you stand up for what you
- 17:25Speaker 1: believe in while you're paying a bill you're going to
- 17:27Speaker 1: have anyways. This is the part that I love about
- 17:31Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. They're making a difference every time you pay
- 17:34Speaker 1: your bill, every time you make a phone call, every
- 17:37Speaker 1: time that you send a text message. Patriot Mobile actually

- 18:03Speaker 1: everything they can to protect the lives of unborn children.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Then every month, when you pay your bill. They're going
- 18:10Speaker 1: to continue to support the causes that I just mentioned.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And this is exactly why you need to make the switch.

- 18:46Speaker 1: go online to Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben that's
- 18:50Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben or nine seven to
- 18:54Speaker 1: two Patriot. If you want to know why Democrats are
- 18:57Speaker 1: doing this right now, it is because you now have
- 19:01Speaker 1: a president who's eighty one and Joe Biden who is
- 19:05Speaker 1: asking you for five more years to run the United
- 19:08Speaker 1: States of America five more years. And there's a new
- 19:14Speaker 1: poll out that says voters doubt Joe Biden's fitness for office.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So what are they doing.
- 19:19Speaker 1: They're trying to scare you that Donald Trump's going to
- 19:22Speaker 1: be some sort of rogue dictator if he gets re elected.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Most voters quote unquote have.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Doubts about President Joe Biden's fitness for office and believe
- 19:30Speaker 1: he is exhibiting signs he is too old to be president,
- 19:34Speaker 1: according to a new Harvard Harris poll published on Biden's birthday,
- 19:38Speaker 1: as he turned eighty one.
- 19:40Speaker 2: The poll aasts two thousand, eight.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Hundred and fifty one registered voters from across the country.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Is Joe Biden mentally fit to serve as President of
- 19:47Speaker 1: the United States of America? Or do you have doubts
- 19:50Speaker 1: about his fitness for office? Of the respondents, forty two
- 19:55Speaker 1: percent bely Biden is mentally.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Fit for office.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Is that means fifty eight percent say publicly they have
- 20:06Speaker 1: doubts about his fitness, while the majority of Democrats in
- 20:12Speaker 1: the polls seventy one percent says mentally fit to serve.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Eighty one percent of Republican respondents and sixty nine percent
- 20:20Speaker 1: a third party or unaffiliated voters have concerns about Biden's fitness. So,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and you would expect Democrats, right, you really would. You
- 20:27Speaker 1: would expect Democrats to say something like this. It makes sense,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I get it right. They say Democrats are going to
- 20:33Speaker 1: defend their own. But the fact that there's even thirty
- 20:35Speaker 1: percent of Democrats say he's not fit mentally fit to
- 20:38Speaker 1: serve tells you something. Voters were also asked if they
- 20:43Speaker 1: think Biden is showing he is too old to be
- 20:46Speaker 1: president or if they think he is showing signs he's
- 20:51Speaker 1: fit to be president. Two in three voters say Biden
- 20:57Speaker 1: has shown he is too old to be president you
- 21:00Speaker 1: out of three, while one in three say the opposite.
- 21:03Speaker 1: The vast majority of GP voters eighty nine percent. And
- 21:07Speaker 1: here's what really matters. Seventy two percent of independence say
- 21:11Speaker 1: he is exhibiting signs he's too old for office. However,
- 21:15Speaker 1: a majority sixty three percent of Democrats say he has
- 21:19Speaker 1: shown he is fit for office. So again, sixty three
- 21:22Speaker 1: percent of hardcore Democrats say no, no, no, he's fine. Thirty
- 21:26Speaker 1: seven percent of Democrats express concerned about his age. Even
- 21:31Speaker 1: more problematic for Biden is at nearly half of all
- 21:35Speaker 1: voters say he is worsening as a president rather than improving. Conversely,
- 21:41Speaker 1: just twenty eight percent say Biden is improving as his
- 21:44Speaker 1: presidency goes on because you should learn on the job right,
- 21:48Speaker 1: and twenty three percent say his performance as president is
- 21:53Speaker 1: neither getting better nor getting worse, but just staying the same, stagnant,
- 21:59Speaker 1: and for a president that's brutal. As was the trend
- 22:03Speaker 1: in previous and the previous two questions, a majority of
- 22:05Speaker 1: independence fifty five percent join a majority of Republicans seventy
- 22:10Speaker 1: three percent in saying that Biden is worsening as a
- 22:13Speaker 1: president while Democrats. While most Democrats and barely fifty one
- 22:17Speaker 1: percent perceive him as improving, so forty nine percent of
- 22:21Speaker 1: Democrats think he's not improving as president. The poet, which
- 22:25Speaker 1: also shows Biden trailing former President Donald Trump in a
- 22:29Speaker 1: hypothetical head to head general election in a crowded field,
- 22:32Speaker 1: comes as worries amount among Democrats about Biden's prospects and
- 22:37Speaker 1: a potential general election rematch with Donald Trump. Yeah, this
- 22:41Speaker 1: is why they're trying to convince you that Donald Trump
- 22:43Speaker 1: is a threat to democracy all over again.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Quote.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Those close allies believe that Biden is mentally up for
- 22:51Speaker 1: the job, but some acknowledge that the president can at
- 22:53Speaker 1: times appear frail, according to two people involved in the conversations,
- 22:58Speaker 1: but not authorizes speak publicly about internal deliberations. The poll
- 23:04Speaker 1: was conducted November fifteenth and sixteenth, and this is the
- 23:08Speaker 1: worst poll numbers to date for Joe Biden when it
- 23:11Speaker 1: comes to just his ability to run the country. This
- 23:17Speaker 1: is an important point to talk about. And there's also
- 23:21Speaker 1: another problem. Bidenflation is killing Joe Biden at the polls.
- 23:26Speaker 2: How do we know this? Let me tell you what's happening.
- 23:28Speaker 1: As people are talking about the Thanksgiving holiday, food bank
- 23:33Speaker 1: demand has surged all over the country because of Americans
- 23:38Speaker 1: being hit with inflation.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Quote.
- 23:40Speaker 1: The demand for local food banks has on the rise
- 23:44Speaker 1: as soaring prices are impacting the average American under Joe
- 23:48Speaker 1: Biden with Bidenflation. The increasing demand for food bank demonstrates
- 23:52Speaker 1: how soaring inflation driven by Bidennomics is negatively impacting a
- 23:57Speaker 1: significant number of lower income families coast to coast.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Quote. We are seeing unprecedented demand.
- 24:04Speaker 1: That's the chief executive of Man of Food Center told
- 24:07Speaker 1: The Washington Post on Monday. Food bank demand rose dramatically
- 24:11Speaker 1: in the last few months.
- 24:13Speaker 2: The Man of Food.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Center provided food for five thousand, seven hundred eighty one
- 24:18Speaker 1: families in October, surpassing its monthly high during the pandemic.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Food for Others.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Another local food bank distributed thirty percent more food in
- 24:27Speaker 1: twenty twenty three than twenty twenty two. It serves about
- 24:31Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty people daily. According to communications director there,
- 24:35Speaker 1: Capital Area Food Bank distributed thirty one percent more food
- 24:39Speaker 1: since July one. The president CEO has said, they said,
- 24:42Speaker 1: why it's not unemployment, it's soaring inflation is impacting most
- 24:47Speaker 1: Americans for years under Biden, and they can't afford to
- 24:51Speaker 1: pay for their basic needs. Thirty two percent of locals
- 24:54Speaker 1: did not have enough food to eat in twenty twenty
- 24:57Speaker 1: three compared to thirty three percent in twenty twenty two,
- 25:00Speaker 1: is what the Capital Area Food Bank is also found
- 25:03Speaker 1: in their new report. Many of those Americans are forced
- 25:06Speaker 1: to look for returnative ways to feed their family. Catherine Charles,
- 25:10Speaker 1: a forty year old single mother, said Biden's inflation made
- 25:13Speaker 1: it more difficult for her to feed her family. Her
- 25:16Speaker 1: young children are at the age they are eating everything
- 25:18Speaker 1: in front of them, she said to the Associated Press.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So what happens?
- 25:22Speaker 1: The White House says that Bidenomics is working because prices
- 25:26Speaker 1: are going down. Is that true? No, it's a lie.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Prices are actually going up. My son loves red meat,
- 25:35Speaker 1: said the mother. We cannot any longer afford it the
- 25:37Speaker 1: way we used to the economy is not getting better
- 25:40Speaker 1: for nobody, especially not for me, she said to the
- 25:42Speaker 1: Associated Press. The Associated Press also said that the NORC
- 25:49Speaker 1: Center for Public Affairs Research polling shows that about seventy
- 25:52Speaker 1: five percent of respondents said Biden's economy is quote poor.
- 25:58Speaker 1: On two thirds said expense says spiked in just one
- 26:02Speaker 1: quarter said their income rose to cover the costs of
- 26:07Speaker 1: rising inflation. This is the White House continues to lie.
- 26:12Speaker 1: The White House says Bidenomics is working because costs are
- 26:15Speaker 1: going down. That is what was set the White House
- 26:18Speaker 1: is past week quote Bidenomics is indeed working. When when
- 26:22Speaker 1: we say that, we you look at the data, right
- 26:25Speaker 1: question mark, costs is going down, right question mark? We
- 26:28Speaker 1: think about inflation, White House pre Secretary Jean Pierre said
- 26:32Speaker 1: an interview.
- 26:33Speaker 2: In general, the problem is she's a liar.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Products and services purchased by Americans do not cost less
- 26:39Speaker 1: than they did in the past. The Labor Department set
- 26:42Speaker 1: on Thursday the Consumer Price Index was up three point
- 26:44Speaker 1: one percent compared to a year earlier. Compare with the
- 26:48Speaker 1: prior month, the index was up zero point two percent.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Core CPI, which is a measure that includes volatile food
- 26:54Speaker 1: and energy. Prices rose zero point two percent for the
- 26:57Speaker 1: month and four point seven for the year.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Inflation is the rate of change of prices.
- 27:04Speaker 1: When inflation declines, as it has in recent months, the
- 27:08Speaker 1: White House wanted to claim they said things were good.
- 27:11Speaker 1: The problem is it's not gone down. Prices have not
- 27:14Speaker 1: gone down. They lied to you. Last summer, prices were
- 27:18Speaker 1: rising at around nine percent a year. This summer, they
- 27:20Speaker 1: are up just over three percent from a year ago.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Costs are going up, not down. The White House lied
- 27:27Speaker 1: to the American people, and the American people know it.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 27:32Speaker 1: your friends, and make sure you write us a five
