- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh man, Steve Harvey got a radio show because God.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Because God is simply amazing, because God is off the chain,
- 2:20Speaker 1: because God is over the top, because God is all
- 2:23Speaker 1: that in a bag of chips. God is amazing. Man.
- 2:27Speaker 1: God will take you places that you never ever thought
- 2:31Speaker 1: you would go, or you know what. It's sometimes it
- 2:34Speaker 1: amazes me when I'm watching people talk about themselves and
- 2:38Speaker 1: their careers and where they're adding life and things and
- 2:41Speaker 1: they and and I hear people say you know, always
- 2:45Speaker 1: dreamed of being him. You know, I can understand when
- 2:48Speaker 1: a person says that I've I've always dreamed that of
- 2:52Speaker 1: something like this would happen to me. But I want
- 2:54Speaker 1: you to think about that for a second. Did you
- 2:59Speaker 1: really see it just like that? Though? Did you really
- 3:03Speaker 1: really see it just like that? Did you really know
- 3:10Speaker 1: that God was gonna bring you through all he bought
- 3:13Speaker 1: you through to get you to this place? Did you
- 3:17Speaker 1: know that, in spite of the losses along the way
- 3:20Speaker 1: that would crumbled the average person, that somehow He kept
- 3:24Speaker 1: you through it all and that's how you got here?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Did did you think of you know? I mean, you know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: you know? I mean, since you're so busy talking about
- 3:33Speaker 1: yourself now, have you forgotten all the times He was
- 3:38Speaker 1: bringing you through when you didn't see no way that
- 3:41Speaker 1: you was gonna get through? Do you remember that? So
- 3:45Speaker 1: when you sit there and you say, I dreamed of this,
- 3:49Speaker 1: this is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, a real
- 3:56Speaker 1: close inventory of your life, and you look back on
- 3:59Speaker 1: it all, stop looking at the moment right now, remember
- 4:02Speaker 1: where you come from. See, that's what gets me emotional.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Sometimes that's what makes me tear up, because when something
- 4:09Speaker 1: is happening to me in the moment, it ain't the moment.
- 4:12Speaker 1: For me, it's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:21Speaker 1: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:25Speaker 1: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out on
- 4:31Speaker 1: the ward to me or somebody calling my name, that's that.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:39Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:41Speaker 1: I always dreamed of, did you really think in those
- 4:44Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:49Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and and this
- 4:52Speaker 1: is kind of for young people today, Um what I'm
- 4:54Speaker 1: about to say. But then guess what, Sometimes I have
- 4:57Speaker 1: to remind myself of it, So I guess it's still
- 5:00Speaker 1: kinder for everybody, you know, because I work with a
- 5:03Speaker 1: lot of young people, and and and and so many times, man,
- 5:06Speaker 1: young people just don't understand what all it takes. And
- 5:12Speaker 1: I know, and if you're a full grown adult. If
- 5:14Speaker 1: you're forty, you you really understanding where I'm coming from,
- 5:17Speaker 1: because you know, you know it's listen to me. Young
- 5:22Speaker 1: people or anybody that don't understand this, that you got
- 5:26Speaker 1: to do some things that you don't want to do
- 5:30Speaker 1: in order to do what you want to do. You
- 5:33Speaker 1: have to understand this principle of success or else you
- 5:36Speaker 1: are not going to become successful. I got what you
- 5:40Speaker 1: want to do. I got your ultimate goal? Is this, that,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and the other? I got all of that. But in
- 5:47Speaker 1: the meantime, though, there are some necessary steps that you
- 5:51Speaker 1: have to take in order to become successful, and you
- 5:54Speaker 1: cannot skip these steps. You can't jump over these steps
- 5:58Speaker 1: just because you want to be rich Friday, I got that.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I got that. Everybody got that. But if you want this,
- 6:06Speaker 1: whatever you're talking about, whether it's money or success or
- 6:10Speaker 1: fame or climbing the corporate letter or this is the
- 6:13Speaker 1: position or you all, that's fine and then it. Please
- 6:17Speaker 1: hold onto your dreams. Dreams come true. But in the meantime,
- 6:22Speaker 1: let me remind you of something that you gotta do
- 6:26Speaker 1: some things you don't want to do in order to
- 6:29Speaker 1: do what you want to do. You must get this
- 6:32Speaker 1: in your head. There are some survival things that you
- 6:36Speaker 1: have to master in order to do what you wanna do.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Let's take it down. Let's say you want to be
- 6:44Speaker 1: rich and famous. Let's just say that's it for you.
- 6:47Speaker 1: That's it as a lot of other ways of being successful.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Please don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:51Speaker 1: let's just say yours is rich and famous. And let's
- 6:55Speaker 1: say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Next for y'all, you're rich and you're famous. Next Friday,
- 7:05Speaker 1: can I share something with you? This is not going
- 7:07Speaker 1: to last for you. You know why because you have
- 7:11Speaker 1: not done the things necessary. You have not done the
- 7:15Speaker 1: things that you have to do in order to do
- 7:19Speaker 1: the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:23Speaker 1: How you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:27Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:29Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal? How
- 7:33Speaker 1: are you gonna know how to reinvent yourself if you
- 7:35Speaker 1: didn't even invent yourself in the first place. See, it's
- 7:39Speaker 1: so many things you got to know about something, and
- 7:42Speaker 1: you think, because it's what you want right now, it's
- 7:45Speaker 1: supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When you
- 7:47Speaker 1: ask God for something. Please No, God know the process.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He know the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:54Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:58Speaker 1: true right now? Man, You know you know I think
- 8:03Speaker 1: the best way y'all is is for me. I just
- 8:05Speaker 1: used myself as an example. I really do understand why
- 8:09Speaker 1: God has given me the life he's given me so far.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I understand that being home this part. Now, I get
- 8:15Speaker 1: the not being successful when I wanted to part. Now
- 8:18Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:21Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:24Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:27Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:29Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I didn't get it then I was mad at God.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You know what, I won't not sending here here. I
- 8:38Speaker 1: got exactly what you want. But I got this process.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:42Speaker 1: because see, I'm fenn to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:45Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:47Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind you don't know
- 8:49Speaker 1: this year, I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I said, every morning,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Because see I didn't
- 8:57Speaker 1: I didn't see this one coming. But see God had
- 8:59Speaker 1: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 9:01Speaker 1: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit. I'm I'm
- 9:10Speaker 1: gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions you
- 9:11Speaker 1: wanna make it. I'm gonna make you learn from him.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for a
- 9:16Speaker 1: little while. I'm I'm gonna let you not get into
- 9:19Speaker 1: your field of choice until your twenty eight. I'm gonna
- 9:22Speaker 1: have people talk about if we had only seen him
- 9:24Speaker 1: when he was younger. I ain't gonna let you get
- 9:26Speaker 1: your first call your name to your third y eight.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna make you go through some things because one
- 9:31Speaker 1: day I'm gonna put a microphone in front of your mouth,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and I want you to honor me. I want you
- 9:36Speaker 1: to talk about me. I want you to tell people
- 9:39Speaker 1: what I bought you through. I want you to give
- 9:41Speaker 1: people inspirational moments where they can see that your life
- 9:44Speaker 1: was jacked up for a minute and I turned your
- 9:46Speaker 1: life around for you. That's God dealing with me. See
- 9:50Speaker 1: so now I finally understand why I went through the
- 9:54Speaker 1: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 9:57Speaker 1: I ain't over here telling you about what I think happen.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you what I know can happen. That God
- 10:03Speaker 1: does make dreams come true, but sometime it take a minute.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you wanna do. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I finally got on TV, but I had to learn
- 10:15Speaker 1: some things along the way. See maybe He waited for
- 10:18Speaker 1: me to get some of these messages for He gave
- 10:20Speaker 1: me this gift that I want so I would appreciate
- 10:23Speaker 1: it more. See when you don't get into comedy, when
- 10:25Speaker 1: you to you twenty eight and you've been wanting it
- 10:27Speaker 1: since you nine, Now when you get into it, you
- 10:29Speaker 1: appreciate it more. Then. Guess what I've been through so
- 10:32Speaker 1: many struggles and a divorce, and life had turned me around.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So when I became homeless, I still didn't give up
- 10:39Speaker 1: because I had appreciated the fact that it took me
- 10:42Speaker 1: so long to get here that nothing was gonna deter me,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and he gave me the fortitude and the strength to
- 10:48Speaker 1: hang on in there. Just don't leave him out the mix, okay,
- 10:51Speaker 1: because you're trying and do this by yourself. It ain't
- 10:54Speaker 1: working for you. All right, I'll that you. I'm gonna
- 10:56Speaker 1: be tripping it down show. All right, let me have
- 11:03Speaker 1: your attention to everybody. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:06Speaker 1: The voice you're listening to belongs to Steve Harvey, but
- 11:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey shows a compilation, a collaboration, an altercation of
- 11:16Speaker 1: communication with several byproducts. Ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry, Hello, Steve,
- 11:25Speaker 1: callin for real. Good morning crew. What's that damn Junior?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Morning up? And ladies and gentlemen, nothing but the food
- 11:35Speaker 1: you ain't in the building. Top of the morning Ladies. Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it's going down, y'all. Congratulations. Welcome to the United States
- 11:42Speaker 1: of America when we have a president to teach about everything.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You're just joining us. I've never seen more hell going
- 11:49Speaker 1: on in the White House ever. And the White House
- 11:53Speaker 1: what the what I love about this administration is they're
- 11:56Speaker 1: trying to downplay everything. This is hell broke loose for
- 12:03Speaker 1: acting like this is regular. Quit trying to blame everybody else.
- 12:09Speaker 1: And damn collusion. Somebody going to jail boy, And I
- 12:13Speaker 1: want to thank the Lord that it ain't me. I
- 12:19Speaker 1: am so glad that I don't know that type of
- 12:23Speaker 1: financial knowledge that them big boys know that money. Frall
- 12:28Speaker 1: shifted money, money put in all the accounts. Then because
- 12:33Speaker 1: bore when they come for you, looking for you. This
- 12:36Speaker 1: is the number one reason, guys, that Donald Trump cannot
- 12:40Speaker 1: show you his tax returns because you are going to
- 12:43Speaker 1: discover that Donald Trump has not paid any taxes. And
- 12:48Speaker 1: the way he's not paid taxes is with companies that
- 12:52Speaker 1: he puts together that he claims losses in while he
- 12:56Speaker 1: lives an extravagant life. You'll never see his tax phones.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But we've never ever seen But Steve, we knew this
- 13:03Speaker 1: before he was elected. I mean, you know, and he
- 13:06Speaker 1: got elected anyway, Why did he do this? Run for president?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Has been Tommy one of his great regrets in life.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I can show you absolutely, but like yeah, but like
- 13:20Speaker 1: we said yesterday, though, Steve, you're you're right, he didn't
- 13:23Speaker 1: know he didn't think he was gonna win. I definitely
- 13:26Speaker 1: don't believe that. But once he got the job, that power,
- 13:29Speaker 1: you know, that's so intoxicating. He forgot The main thing
- 13:33Speaker 1: is that he has a boss. Now normally he's the boss,
- 13:35Speaker 1: but now the people are the boss. He has to
- 13:37Speaker 1: answer to the American people and to Congress. And he
- 13:41Speaker 1: actually thought, now they controlled the House and the Senate,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but he actually thought, and his family thought, his sons
- 13:49Speaker 1: and everybody, he's the president. We're gonna be building Trump
- 13:52Speaker 1: properties all around the where I am. I We're gonna
- 13:55Speaker 1: be cutting deals. But what they found out was the
- 13:58Speaker 1: president is not a lot to do any of that.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So now what they're doing is they're actually planning on
- 14:07Speaker 1: him leaving and what that will mean for him, as
- 14:10Speaker 1: it does for so many presidents with speaking engagements and everything.
- 14:13Speaker 1: But he's going to go really big into the business
- 14:18Speaker 1: of the hotels. But I think his brand will be
- 14:21Speaker 1: so damaged. And when we come back, can we talk
- 14:24Speaker 1: about the two black people that they had behind him?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Can I talk about the difference in the two black
- 14:33Speaker 1: people that they had standing there? Okay, come back, Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: that's about We'll talk about the rally in West Virginia
- 14:41Speaker 1: right after this. We'll be back at thirty two after
- 14:44Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, Steve, So, before we
- 14:48Speaker 1: left for break, you were saying you wanted to talk
- 14:50Speaker 1: about the president's rally in West Virginia and the two
- 14:54Speaker 1: black people. I want to talk about the two black
- 14:57Speaker 1: dudes that were standing behind. I want to talk about
- 15:02Speaker 1: the pay the dude. It was the dude in the
- 15:05Speaker 1: black shirt, the younger dude with the chain on, with
- 15:08Speaker 1: the black T shirt that was vocal the entire night,
- 15:13Speaker 1: cheering for everything. It was the other black dude where
- 15:17Speaker 1: you couldn't really read his hat and the blue shirt
- 15:20Speaker 1: and the blue shirt on the dog skiing brother. That
- 15:23Speaker 1: was really my dude, because I could tell you why
- 15:27Speaker 1: somebody gave him five hunted to stand now. He didn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: give them what Trump said looking at his phone, Man,
- 15:39Speaker 1: howe they tell me to stand here? I've never seen
- 15:44Speaker 1: a person stand behind the president and have the look
- 15:48Speaker 1: of I could care less on his face. He was
- 15:53Speaker 1: my favorite dude. That's why I watched the speech because
- 15:58Speaker 1: of him. Oh that dude. I couldn't take my eyes.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I said, Man, does he know we see him? Don't
- 16:07Speaker 1: he do? The people around him just be clapping. He's
- 16:10Speaker 1: sitting there like, man, what how long did they find
- 16:13Speaker 1: who got the five hundred? Do you really think they
- 16:16Speaker 1: get paid? Yeah, they have to. I can't say for
- 16:20Speaker 1: sure that they get paid. But they are strategically placed, Yes,
- 16:26Speaker 1: are strategically placed. Yeah. They want to show women, they
- 16:29Speaker 1: want to show young they want you know, they want
- 16:33Speaker 1: to show multicultural. So they find it too black. Now,
- 16:36Speaker 1: ain't no more blacks in the building. They might work that.
- 16:41Speaker 1: They might just like Donald Trump famously said in front
- 16:45Speaker 1: of his airplane one time, that goes my African American. Yeah. Yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 1: But to get behind Trump, you know how early you
- 16:53Speaker 1: got to be at that? Really secret servants gotta check.
- 17:03Speaker 1: They handpick who stands behind. Got with that they handpick.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You can't just go stand back there. You gotta make
- 17:12Speaker 1: sure you got a hat on, a sign, a T shirt.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You know you got They're gonna ask you a couple
- 17:17Speaker 1: of questions. Now a black dude in a blue shirt,
- 17:21Speaker 1: We just need another black, just one more. He he
- 17:29Speaker 1: really works security. How they get him sick? He works security.
- 17:33Speaker 1: He was checking people in. They said, so we're gonna
- 17:34Speaker 1: lead you a pop. I don't nothing about that. Then
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, Shirley, you approached me. I'm the
- 17:42Speaker 1: black dude you approached me to try to get me
- 17:45Speaker 1: to come up there. Excuse me, sir, sir you, sir
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the blue shirt? Hi, how are you? How are
- 17:52Speaker 1: you doing? Oh good? My name is Shirley. I work
- 17:55Speaker 1: for you. Hi, how are you, sir? I worked for
- 17:59Speaker 1: by yourself. Well, no, Sarah, I'm representing the President, Donald Trump,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and we were wondering, um if we could uh well,
- 18:07Speaker 1: if we could use you for a couple of hours. Well, sir,
- 18:12Speaker 1: we need your presence. Um we have already ain't about
- 18:15Speaker 1: nobody nothing in a long time. I bought the keys
- 18:18Speaker 1: from prison. No presence, sir. We need your body to
- 18:23Speaker 1: be placed, uh strategically behind the president when he gives
- 18:27Speaker 1: his rally speech here in like, oh, you misunderstanding, I
- 18:30Speaker 1: ain't I'm security to watch you. Oh no, sir, that's fine,
- 18:34Speaker 1: that's fine. You'll you'll do just fine. All we need
- 18:36Speaker 1: is the fact that you're a black man, that you're
- 18:38Speaker 1: a black, and we already have one for his black. Yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 1: your left side. We need a black. We need a
- 18:44Speaker 1: black for the right side, and you would be perfect sir,
- 18:48Speaker 1: could you put yes? Yes, sir, Yeah, we we need
- 18:52Speaker 1: your presence. What you're talking to me for? Well, because
- 18:55Speaker 1: you're a black and clearly you see all these white
- 18:59Speaker 1: people we need. So we we want to show a
- 19:01Speaker 1: microcosm of every race and ethnicity who support Donald Trump.
- 19:06Speaker 1: That's what we want. I don't know Michael Cars So,
- 19:10Speaker 1: oh you mean Michael Cohen. You said you want to
- 19:14Speaker 1: show a Michael Cars. I don't know Michael Card. We'll
- 19:17Speaker 1: just say we want to show a variety of races
- 19:21Speaker 1: of people who support the president. And hold on, yes, sir,
- 19:27Speaker 1: Oh see you got me twisted. Well, no, you're you're
- 19:32Speaker 1: a black. No, I didn't vote for president I was.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I work at the dope. Well yeah, that's okay standing
- 19:41Speaker 1: at that dope, sir. Look we we we have one
- 19:44Speaker 1: black one. I can't do and leave my job. Go
- 19:46Speaker 1: up here standing behind him. Man, make it look like
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'm here fun. Oh, sir, we'll make it plenty worth
- 19:51Speaker 1: your while for sure. Well, how does five dollars sound today? Yes, yes, sir,
- 19:58Speaker 1: just to stand behind President the Trump for a couple
- 20:01Speaker 1: of hours. Wait you mean you wait? Wait, wait wait wait,
- 20:04Speaker 1: you're gonna give me five dollar today to stay in oil.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yeah right, you see that missing space. We haven't show
- 20:12Speaker 1: me where? Show me show me what you want me for?
- 20:14Speaker 1: The right up there, right behind the president on his right,
- 20:19Speaker 1: we have a black already on the left. Like I said,

- 20:49Speaker 1: you would come with me, come with me, because want
- 20:54Speaker 1: if you would come with me right through these doors
- 20:57Speaker 1: and I'll give you the money right here. I don't
- 20:59Speaker 1: have the money on me, but I will get the money.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You're gonna give me the money now or after it over? Well,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I have to give it to you after I hop

- 21:22Speaker 1: I'll find you. Okay. Then when I stand there, what
- 21:25Speaker 1: you want me to do? Well? Um, can you act
- 21:27Speaker 1: like you're interested in what the president is saying? That's
- 21:30Speaker 1: another fact. All Right, we gotta go, Steve. We're gonna
- 21:36Speaker 1: come back, and we got the prank phone called coming up.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Run that prank back with the nephew right after this.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, the nephew
- 21:47Speaker 1: is here, the king of pranks. What you got enough?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Let's get married? Sound pretty simple. Let's get married. Watch
- 21:57Speaker 1: that's getting married today. Hey, how you doing? My name
- 22:06Speaker 1: is Virgil. I was reaching out to you trying to uh, well,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to get married, and I wanted to know
- 22:12Speaker 1: what it took to get married at your church. Excuse me, ver,
- 22:15Speaker 1: quick question? Where'd you get my personal number? I'm not
- 22:20Speaker 1: I don't know where I got to number. I mean,
- 22:22Speaker 1: never mind, we'll deal with it. What's your question? Well,
- 22:25Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get at is I'm
- 22:27Speaker 1: trying to get uh, I'm trying to get married. I
- 22:29Speaker 1: really like your church. I've been there. Several times, and
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm really interested about you know, what will it take
- 22:36Speaker 1: to get married in there? And I really I'm probably
- 22:38Speaker 1: may be calling at the last minute. Man, I want
- 22:40Speaker 1: to get married at the end of February. Well, being
- 22:43Speaker 1: in the here, I we'll have to go through counseling first,
- 22:47Speaker 1: maybe four to six weeks and uh we can take
- 22:51Speaker 1: it from there. Uh you have to keep a call
- 22:53Speaker 1: back on that. But tell me a little bit about
- 22:57Speaker 1: just a little well, well, what it is that we
- 22:59Speaker 1: which you know, we're trying to get married for a
- 23:00Speaker 1: long time. We've had a lot of difficulties with it
- 23:03Speaker 1: and never really really found the right church that we
- 23:05Speaker 1: thought would be a good place to get married. You know.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I think it's it's you got to feel it in
- 23:10Speaker 1: your heart that this is the best place to get married,
- 23:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So, uh, you know, like
- 23:15Speaker 1: I said, we've been in your church uh quite a
- 23:17Speaker 1: few times, maybe about four or five times, and and
- 23:20Speaker 1: we have you know, both agreed that this would be
- 23:23Speaker 1: the perfect place for us to get married. Uh. You
- 23:27Speaker 1: know remember at Mount No sir, No, sir, I'm not
- 23:30Speaker 1: like I said, I visited you know, we've visited four
- 23:33Speaker 1: or five times we really liked it, and we just
- 23:36Speaker 1: were sold on trying to get married at the church.
- 23:38Speaker 1: We'll go through the count four to six weeks once
- 23:41Speaker 1: a week and uh we can talk about the rest
- 23:45Speaker 1: of it at another time, Okay, okay, And after that
- 23:48Speaker 1: then you're saying we'll be prepared to get married, then
- 23:51Speaker 1: I would think, so, yeah, yeah, no problem. How soon
- 23:55Speaker 1: were you talking about Well, like I said, we were
- 23:58Speaker 1: trying to do it in the February. Let me ask
- 24:00Speaker 1: you this here now after going through counseling. But we
- 24:03Speaker 1: really have you be the person to to actually perform
- 24:06Speaker 1: the ceremony because that's what I know. That's I know,
- 24:10Speaker 1: that's what I want for you to actually to perform
- 24:13Speaker 1: to proceed. Yes, yes, that's okay, Well listen. Uh, like
- 24:18Speaker 1: I said, let me apologize. I don't know I had
- 24:20Speaker 1: your personal number. I do apologize for that. I do
- 24:23Speaker 1: have uh my soon to be spouse on the phone,
- 24:26Speaker 1: and they would like to ask you a couple of
- 24:27Speaker 1: questions too, if that's all right. Yeah, it's okay, it's okay.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I can speak with her, okay. Uh uh Alfred Alfred, Yes, yes, hi, pastor,
- 24:37Speaker 1: how are you doing go ahead of Africa? Hey, Hey,
- 24:40Speaker 1: how pass My name is Alfred and uh I wanted
- 24:43Speaker 1: to have a couple questions myself. I just wanted to
- 24:45Speaker 1: know how what it's the capacity of your church because
- 24:47Speaker 1: we got quite a few few friends and family members
- 24:51Speaker 1: that we're gonna attend. So was one thing I ain't
- 24:54Speaker 1: wanted to know about. Uh, Vergin, that's that's that's that
- 25:00Speaker 1: sounds good. Well, that's what that's what we wanted. We
- 25:03Speaker 1: wanted to make sure it was enough enough wrong with
- 25:05Speaker 1: our friends and we're probably gonna invite about three hundred friends,
- 25:08Speaker 1: so that should be fine. Pastor, when can we get
- 25:12Speaker 1: when can we get counselor started? We? Oh, uh, Afrid,
- 25:19Speaker 1: you're you're getting married? You have ALFREDA. I'm sorry, Alfreda's
- 25:23Speaker 1: who married Pastor Alfrida and I'm trying to get manybody
- 25:27Speaker 1: into severywhere, So when can we actually excuse me? I'm sorry,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I was talking to Virgil now Virgil. Yeah, Oh,
- 25:38Speaker 1: Alfred is on the phone with me. ALFREDA is is
- 25:41Speaker 1: who I'm getting married to. So we want to know
- 25:43Speaker 1: when can whoa whoa whoa whoa? Excuse us? So Pastor
- 25:47Speaker 1: win can when when can we start casseling church. We
- 25:50Speaker 1: who who is we? Yes? When when can we start?
- 25:55Speaker 1: Excuse me? We we can't start. No, damn counsel My
- 26:00Speaker 1: church not a tress. Fatim about counseling. You need to
- 26:04Speaker 1: come to Bible study. Was he talking about what needs
- 26:08Speaker 1: to be the problem? Excuse me? What seems to be
- 26:11Speaker 1: the problem? What is the problem that we can't get
- 26:12Speaker 1: married at your church? The problem is the institute of
- 26:16Speaker 1: marriage is between a man and a woman. God did
- 26:21Speaker 1: not put Adam in Eve to be Adam in Steve.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You just said we go through counseling for four to
- 26:27Speaker 1: six weeks. Everything would be fun. Hell counseling. You're on
- 26:31Speaker 1: another level. Now. I don't believe in same sex marriage, bro,
- 26:37Speaker 1: but people are the same sex are getting married all
- 26:39Speaker 1: over the country. So what seems to be the problem?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Pass right and long if that matters to me what
- 26:46Speaker 1: people are doing around the country. And now we're sticking
- 26:50Speaker 1: by the bill. The Bible says that the institute of
- 26:55Speaker 1: marriage is between a man and a woman. I don't
- 26:59Speaker 1: find you too to do that. I really, I'm really
- 27:02Speaker 1: not to push it to of the phone call now
- 27:04Speaker 1: being in soulted, don't excuse me, you know I can't married,
- 27:09Speaker 1: but can you? Can you make an exception? I can't
- 27:12Speaker 1: make an exception. But we love each other exactly, thank you, Alfred.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Yes we do. I'm glad you do. I'm happy for you,
- 27:20Speaker 1: but we don't know. We don't really like that. Bro,
- 27:23Speaker 1: You're gonna be ashamed of yourself. I already absolutely no.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I'm not a man and a woman. My fird lose
- 27:34Speaker 1: the mother and father and keys until his wife. You
- 27:39Speaker 1: don't see the problem here. I really don't have anything else.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I really don't have anything else to say. Okay, but
- 27:46Speaker 1: oh you go. Can I say something else to you? Hey?
- 27:48Speaker 1: You man as love? You already insulted me. We got
- 27:51Speaker 1: your number from Reverend Chapman. Reverend Chapman, the assistant past
- 27:56Speaker 1: the Reverend Chapman is the one thing Woman Chapman, he
- 28:00Speaker 1: gave you. No no, no, no, no, man. I really
- 28:07Speaker 1: don't have much more time. I need to talk to chat. Okay, okay, okay.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But Reverend Chapman said you wouldn't have a problem marrying up.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Reverend Chapman said I wouldn't have a problem. Reverend Chapman
- 28:17Speaker 1: said I wouldn't have a problem marrying you. I really
- 28:22Speaker 1: don't have much stile for you. Okay, well, let me
- 28:24Speaker 1: go ahead and say this pastor, I just don't know
- 28:28Speaker 1: of the assistant pastor. I'm nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 28:32Speaker 1: Harbin Morning Show. When you've just been pranked. Wait wait
- 28:43Speaker 1: helloa vit uh? I need to wait a minute. Chap
- 28:58Speaker 1: was Hey, if Chapman, they got nothing better to do,
- 29:03Speaker 1: we really need I can guarantee you one saying he
- 29:12Speaker 1: won't be listening to the radio. I gotta ask you this,
- 29:17Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 29:20Speaker 1: show in the lane? I have to say, Okay, we're
- 29:28Speaker 1: back now. I'm the black dude that was standing behind
- 29:30Speaker 1: Donnie Trump after rally and I was just trying to
- 29:35Speaker 1: straighten out who's gonna pay me to this five? That's you, lady, Yes, sir,
- 29:40Speaker 1: that would be me. Okay, that's what we're talking about
- 29:42Speaker 1: before Now I can find you for the fire un Yes,
- 29:46Speaker 1: and don't worry, we will find you. But I don't
- 29:48Speaker 1: know what's your name? My name is Shirley Strawberry, Sir,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Sirlett Strawberry. Yes, and when I and I'm gonna have
- 29:55Speaker 1: another two fifty as soon as this over with. That
- 29:58Speaker 1: is correct, sir. Now I'm gonna change. I'm wearing a
- 30:00Speaker 1: blue shirt and I've got a black hat with willing
- 30:03Speaker 1: Bobby Q on it. Yeah, that's what I think will
- 30:07Speaker 1: make a miracle. Great, that's fine. Where you after the
- 30:16Speaker 1: show with the two fifty? Yes, sir? All right? Coming
- 30:18Speaker 1: up next is entertainment news. Nicki Minaj has slammed over here.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Don't forget the truth fictor wha. I know you're used
- 30:25Speaker 1: to people in this administration lying, but that is the truth.
- 30:28Speaker 1: We will pay you, but not be lying about entertainment news.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Coming up next, you're listening to the Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes. We're gonna see, yet again
- 30:44Speaker 1: if Uncle Steve is smarter than nephew Tommy. Man, you know,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'm starting to get tired of this game. Now why
- 30:53Speaker 1: you're doing so well, Steve? But give Tommy a chance.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You guys tied the other day yesterday. I tried to
- 31:01Speaker 1: let him we need yesterday. What was it not? Nine? Yeah? Nineteen?
- 31:09Speaker 1: So we'll see how it goes. Today. We're gonna play
- 31:11Speaker 1: are you smarter than nephew Tommy? Or is Uncle Steve
- 31:14Speaker 1: really this smart. I'm yeah, yeah, yeah, So we're gonna see,
- 31:20Speaker 1: We're gonna see when we play the game. Right now,
- 31:22Speaker 1: it is time for today's entertainment news. Now TMZ is
- 31:25Speaker 1: reporting that Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin did not have
- 31:28Speaker 1: a will at the time of her death. The site
- 31:31Speaker 1: claims court documents state that the Queen of Soul passed
- 31:34Speaker 1: into state, meaning she will. She had no will at
- 31:37Speaker 1: the time of death, and this means, according to Michigan law,
- 31:40Speaker 1: that her estate will be divided equally between her four children.
- 31:45Speaker 1: She had four sons, as you recall, um and yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 1: as we previously told you are Wretha Franklin's funeral is
- 31:51Speaker 1: set for next week, with an open viewing for the
- 31:53Speaker 1: public taking place in August twenty nine, and a private
- 31:57Speaker 1: service for just family and friends set for August thirty one.
- 32:01Speaker 1: R I p rest in Peace, Queen of Soul and
- 32:04Speaker 1: Entertainment News Nicki Minaj is not backing down despite the
- 32:09Speaker 1: dragging she's received for claiming she's the new Harriet Tubman.
- 32:13Speaker 1: To review, Nikki compared herself to Harriet Tubman for fighting
- 32:18Speaker 1: for for streaming service numbers to count toward Billboard chart placement.
- 32:22Speaker 1: In case you missed it, Nikki called out Spotify and
- 32:25Speaker 1: the fact that her album debuted at number two. She tweeted,
- 32:29Speaker 1: all the queens I know shook blank up, shook sugar, honey,
- 32:33Speaker 1: iced tea up. Queen of the week may go to
- 32:36Speaker 1: Harriet Tubman. Had she just sat there and ate her
- 32:38Speaker 1: rice you in words, history would have been a lot
- 32:42Speaker 1: less triumphant. Well. Twitter went in on me for that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 1: she said a mouthful, didn't she. Uh. One of the
- 32:51Speaker 1: best quotes was um from someone who said to Nicki,
- 32:55Speaker 1: comparing your album sales to Harriet Tubman's Fight for Freedom
- 32:59Speaker 1: is the most stupid commentary on slavery in two thousand eighteen,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and that includes Kanye sings slavery was a choice. We
- 33:11Speaker 1: thought that was no matter of fact. Kanye tweeted, what
- 33:16Speaker 1: the hell of the episode? No, Kanye's tweet worlds thank
- 33:23Speaker 1: you Jule off the hook. Now, Yeah, finally, I don't understand.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You know, I've never met Nicki Minaj or anything, but
- 33:35Speaker 1: you know that that's just a little bit. Yeah, that's
- 33:38Speaker 1: that's a lot. You know, that's too much and just
- 33:41Speaker 1: it's right up there with her asks. Too much it's
- 33:43Speaker 1: just too much. Really, tell me what it's you go
- 33:47Speaker 1: too far, too far when she got that as telling
- 33:52Speaker 1: about talking about you saying it though, tom And we're
- 33:55Speaker 1: talking about what she said about Harry Tubman do with
- 34:00Speaker 1: and she went too fun not stop. Yeah, I'm not
- 34:07Speaker 1: on the well anyway. Finally, uh, well, we're gonna move
- 34:13Speaker 1: on to Tommy. Word has it that Tony Braxon recently
- 34:16Speaker 1: shared why she put her wedding to Birdman on hold.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And no, no, before you start hating and all of that,
- 34:22Speaker 1: there is no trouble in paradise. Apparently these two cannot
- 34:26Speaker 1: settle on a date. It's as simple as that they
- 34:28Speaker 1: got engaged back in February. And yeah, and originally, originally,
- 34:33Speaker 1: originally they planned to jump the broom on eighteen. You
- 34:36Speaker 1: can go to Steve Harvey FM dot com for more
- 34:39Speaker 1: entertainment news in too Common if you like. Okay, all right, Steve,
- 34:42Speaker 1: let's get caught up on today's headlines. Please introduced, Ladies
- 34:46Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Here she is miss and Trip. Thank you
- 34:49Speaker 1: very much everybody, and good morning. This is and Trip
- 34:51Speaker 1: with the news. It just par for the course. President
- 34:54Speaker 1: Trump took to Twitter in the wake of the felony
- 34:56Speaker 1: convictions of both his one time campaign chairman and his
- 34:59Speaker 1: personal lawyer. This week, Trump tweeting that Paul Manaford is
- 35:03Speaker 1: a quote brave man for not, as he put it,
- 35:05Speaker 1: making up stories to cut a deal with prosecutors and press.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Folkswoman Sarah Sarah Huckaby Sanders when asked if that meant
- 35:12Speaker 1: that Trump might issue a presidential pardon in Manafort's case,
- 35:16Speaker 1: she answered like this, The Manport case doesn't have anything
- 35:19Speaker 1: to do with the President, doesn't have anything to do
- 35:21Speaker 1: with his campaign, that doesn't have anything to do with
- 35:23Speaker 1: the White House. However, word is now that Trump is
- 35:25Speaker 1: going to tell Fox News Today this morning that he
- 35:28Speaker 1: is thinking about pardoning Manafort. Manifold was convicted of eight
- 35:32Speaker 1: counts of bank and tax flority faces another trial on
- 35:35Speaker 1: those and other charges later this year. However, the President's
- 35:37Speaker 1: other close associated, his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, implicated the
- 35:41Speaker 1: president as he pled guilty to the felony sees was
- 35:43Speaker 1: charged with, including campaign finites violations, and Mr Trump's got
- 35:47Speaker 1: nothing nice to say about him. Some progressives are calling
- 35:50Speaker 1: a Trump's for his impeachment over the fact that two
- 35:53Speaker 1: of his close buds are now convicted felons. Sentiment Aarity
- 35:56Speaker 1: leader Chuck Schumer says this week's developments really show the
- 35:59Speaker 1: need to delay the confirmation hearings for Trump's Supreme Court
- 36:02Speaker 1: nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Is unseemly for the President of the
- 36:05Speaker 1: United States to be picking a Supreme Court justice who
- 36:09Speaker 1: could soon be effectively a juror in a case involving
- 36:14Speaker 1: the President himself. HUM has been expressing concerns about kavanaughs
- 36:18Speaker 1: reported unwillingness to indict a sitting president or subpoena president
- 36:21Speaker 1: to testify. By the way, the Republicans are not going
- 36:23Speaker 1: for that. Silence Sam no longer stands on the campus
- 36:26Speaker 1: of the University of North Carolina and Chapel Hill. Silent
- 36:28Speaker 1: Sam's the nickname given to the statue of a Confederate
- 36:31Speaker 1: soldier placed on the college grounds more than one years ago.
- 36:34Speaker 1: It has long been considered a continuing symbol of racism
- 36:37Speaker 1: and white supremacy. Silence Sam's the subject of protests and
- 36:40Speaker 1: vandalism for decades, but this week about three hundred demonstrators
- 36:44Speaker 1: pulled that darn thing down. Some leaders in the state
- 36:46Speaker 1: legislature and official some of the university releasing statements condemning
- 36:50Speaker 1: that and asking the police to investigate. Meanwhile, North Carolina's
- 36:53Speaker 1: Historical Commission is deciding whether to remove three other Confederate
- 36:57Speaker 1: statutes from the capital grounds. Just so you know, there
- 37:00Speaker 1: are more than a hundred pro Confederate monuments in the
- 37:03Speaker 1: tar Hill state, according to court documents. Yes, Aretha Franklin
- 37:07Speaker 1: died in test day. That means no will our four
- 37:10Speaker 1: children will will share. But you also could get a
- 37:12Speaker 1: posthumous award, a big one, A bipartisan billsman introducing the
- 37:16Speaker 1: Congress to bestow a Congressional Gold Medal on the Queener's soul.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And that's the highest honor that Washington lawmakers can give. Finally,
- 37:23Speaker 1: today's International Day designate to remember the slave trade and
- 37:26Speaker 1: its abolition. On the lighter side, is also Hug your
- 37:29Speaker 1: Sweetheart Day. All right, how about that? Ears up Steve

- 56:04Speaker 1: If you do need advice, we could be reading your

- 56:09Speaker 1: Come on, nephew, muggle up and hold on tight. We
- 56:12Speaker 1: got it for you. It is a Strawberry letter, all right. Subject.
- 56:16Speaker 1: I think my husband wants my sister. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I've been with my husband for nineteen years. Recently, my
- 56:25Speaker 1: younger sister spent the night at my house when she
- 56:28Speaker 1: was in town. I usually only invite my sister to
- 56:31Speaker 1: stay over when my husband is away on military duty.
- 56:35Speaker 1: She always sleeps in my fifteen year old daughter's room
- 56:37Speaker 1: when she's visiting. So this was the first night that
- 56:40Speaker 1: my husband was home when my sister was visiting. We
- 56:43Speaker 1: were having a typical Friday night, watching movies, eating and talking.
- 56:48Speaker 1: My husband was drinking alcohol and I got so irritated
- 56:51Speaker 1: with him that I went to bed early and left
- 56:54Speaker 1: my husband, my sister, and my daughter watching TV. Later
- 56:58Speaker 1: that night, I woke up, but my husband was still
- 57:01Speaker 1: not in bed, so I figured he fell asleep on
- 57:04Speaker 1: the couch. The next morning, my husband was asleep next
- 57:07Speaker 1: to me. I want to check on my sister and
- 57:09Speaker 1: my daughter. My sister was not in my daughter's room.
- 57:13Speaker 1: She was asleep on the couch. I thought this was strange.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I shook her and she woke up startled because she
- 57:19Speaker 1: no she was not supposed to be sleep on my couch.
- 57:22Speaker 1: So my wheels started turning. I have never fully trusted
- 57:26Speaker 1: my husband around my sister, especially if he's been drinking.
- 57:30Speaker 1: My sister left my house later that morning, and I
- 57:32Speaker 1: asked my daughter what time she went to bed. She
- 57:35Speaker 1: said she fell asleep on the couch and my husband
- 57:38Speaker 1: told her to go to bed, so she did. She
- 57:40Speaker 1: said her dad and my sister was still watching TV
- 57:43Speaker 1: when she went to bed. Now I'm really suspect. Yeah,
- 57:48Speaker 1: I'm about to lose it because I can't help but
- 57:50Speaker 1: wonder if something indecent happened. I would not dare ask
- 57:54Speaker 1: my sister. But I feel like I'm going to explode
- 57:57Speaker 1: on my husband. What should I do? Please help me well,
- 58:01Speaker 1: why wouldn't you ask your sister? I mean she was there.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You think she was involved? She is, your sister, asked her?
- 58:07Speaker 1: You can ask her. I mean she might lie if
- 58:10Speaker 1: it really happened, which it sounds like it did, but
- 58:14Speaker 1: you can certainly ask her. And guess what else you
- 58:17Speaker 1: can do? You can explode on your husband to ask
- 58:20Speaker 1: him figure, you know, figure out what's going on. Ask
- 58:23Speaker 1: both of them, get both of them together. Uh, they
- 58:26Speaker 1: sent your daughter to bed, so it sounds like so
- 58:29Speaker 1: they could kick it on the couch. And that sounds
- 58:31Speaker 1: like what's happened. You don't know because you went to
- 58:33Speaker 1: bed because you were irritated with your husband. And Uh,
- 58:37Speaker 1: if you really wanted to know or you know, find
- 58:39Speaker 1: out what was going on, that you shouldn't have done.
- 58:42Speaker 1: But it looks like the damage has been done. It
- 58:44Speaker 1: looks like they did it. You don't have any proof,
- 58:47Speaker 1: but if you feel that, it could very well be.
- 58:50Speaker 1: But I would say, definitely ask your sister and ask
- 58:53Speaker 1: your husband. Steve, I disagree with one shee you know
- 59:00Speaker 1: something happen, you feel something something happened. They did it,
- 59:04Speaker 1: they did what? There's nothing here? There's nothing here. It
- 59:11Speaker 1: starts with the subject of the letter. I think my
- 59:16Speaker 1: husband wants my sister. It sain't nothing. You got to think, Well,
- 59:20Speaker 1: let's just go over your little evidence. Come on, you've
- 59:23Speaker 1: been with your husband for nineteen years. The younger sister
- 59:26Speaker 1: spent the night at your house when she was in town.
- 59:29Speaker 1: He was only invite my sister to stay over when
- 59:31Speaker 1: my husband was well on military duty. She always sleeps
- 59:34Speaker 1: in my fifteen year old daughter's room when she's visiting.
- 59:37Speaker 1: So this is the first night that my husband was
- 59:39Speaker 1: home when my sister was visiting. Okay, Now I'm a
- 59:43Speaker 1: little curious that you only invite your sister when your
- 59:48Speaker 1: husband is a way of military dudy. Okay, but maybe
- 59:51Speaker 1: I understand that day way. You don't interfere with nothing
- 59:54Speaker 1: he got going on, and she don't feel like it's
- 59:56Speaker 1: invasion of privacy. Maybe that's it. But okay, I'm just
- 59:59Speaker 1: making a no them. This was the first night that
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: my husband was home with my sister was visiting. We've
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: been having a typical Friday night, watching movies, eating, talking
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to my husband, was drinking alcohol. I got so irritated
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: with him that I went to bed early. Now you
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got so irritated with your husband. You didn't say why,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: but you went to bed early and left your husband,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: your sister and daughter watch the TV. Later that night,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I woke up and my husband was still not in bed,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: so I figured he fell asleep on the couch. You
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: didn't care, so you left him down there on the couch.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You ain't think nothing of it. You cool. Right next morning,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: my husband was asleep next to me. I went to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: check on my sister and my daughter. My sister was
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: not in my daughter's room. She was asleep on the couch.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I thought this was strange. I shook her. She walked up,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: startled because she no, she's not closed to sleep on
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: my couch. What you think that's where she walking? Stone?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: If you think they were downstairs doing something, you think
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: she will starting because she ain't posted to sleep on
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: your couch. Then ask you a question, how old is
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: your sister? See this ain't the letter. Now you woke up?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: She started because she no, she ain't post to sleep
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: on my couch. So my wheels start turning. Here we go,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and where the insecurity starts kicking in full blasts in
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: this letter. The security has already set in in the letter.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: But now that your insecurity to set in because your
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: little sister, fine, little sister, fine, you ain't what you was. Oh,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: it's all in the letter, you know, you know he
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: got drunk. Irritated me. I went to bed because you're tied.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: And while you're tied, because you ain't what you want,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you left everybody down there on the couch watch the
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: TV because you're so irritated. Now you know what I'm saying.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: He in bed next to you. You're gonna check on her.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: She down on the couch, You shake and wake up you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: She started because she knows she but started because you
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: woke up, because she ain't both be on the county.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: So my wheels started turning. I've never fully trusted my
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: husband around my sister. Why why why have you not
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: trusted your husband and your sister because you know your
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: sister fun because you know all the men and be
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: looking at a little things. When she comes through the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: room and her husband ain't a drunk, but he was drinking.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: He serves in the military. You don't talk about military
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: people on this show. They got drunk. Thank you for
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: your service. Was drunk. They drinking alcohol to deal with
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: the commandity in chief. And she got irritated. Now, if
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: he was in the military, you'll be drinking. This is
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: your Dame President, you know, boss, I'm telling when asked
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: for me to go to work, Yeah, really go back.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I'll give you the rest of the letter. All right,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response coming up at three after
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: let's recap the letter for today. I think my husband
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: wants my sister. That is the subject. The reason you
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: think your husband won't your sister, or because you know
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: everybody else do. She sure didn't say that in the letter.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: It's in now. I think my husband won't my sister.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: She never invites her sister over to the house unless
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: he's on military. Dude, she decided he's drinking and got
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: on her nerves. She went upstairs go to sleep because
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: she owed he gets out of line when he drinks. Obviously,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: So now he just says something said exactly exactly a
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: little big lags. You didn't ground. I know you''t finished
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: crossing big leg watching movies. So what do the drunker asks?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Dude be saying to get his ass introbleh, boy, I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: see something looking but more got more bud on it
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: than popcorn. Honey, would you stop? I'm trying. Yeah, you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: don't want to invite over here while I ain't. Don't
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: do this while I'm I'm drinking because the president just
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: forget it. I'm going to bed night night. Are you coming? Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I'll be up to have a while. You go ahead
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: on so let's get back. Okay. I'm never really trusting
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: my husband around my sister, especially if he's been drinking.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: All right, well, he was drinking. My sister left my
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: house later that morning, and I asked my daughter what
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: time she went to bed. She said, she fell asleep
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: on the couch and my husband told her to go
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: to bed. You posted in your daughter to bed, so
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: she did. She said her dad and my sister was
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: still watching TV when she went to bed. They don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: there watching TV. The baby just told you what they
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: would do. They would watching TV. Now I'm really suspect
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: what you suspect fault. I'm about to lose it because
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I can't help, but wonder if something indecent happened. You
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: can't help, But wonder why you wondered? Because you were insecure.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: I would not dare ask my sister. But I feel
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: like I'm going to explode on my husband? What should
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I do? Please? Help me explode? For what? Over some
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: insecure feelings you got? So you're gonna go to your
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: husband with it? You think how much you think he'd
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: been drinking? Where he gonna say when we did something?
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Drink that much? If you thought someone was happening happen,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you should have stayed your ass. I agree with you
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: on that, asked the warden and kept your ain't nobody
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: everybody else? Come on, baby, we're going to bed. Were
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: going into the bed. She shouldn't have left. Well, come
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: out here, a little sister. You're sleeping with me tonight something.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: But she has no proof nothing happened. You're insecure, and
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you're gonna come across as a very insecure. The reason
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you won't dare say nothing to your sister, it's because
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you know there's a possibility that you could be dead
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: wrong And why would you insult your system so surely
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: with this ridiculous ask her and your husband together? Are
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: you kidding me together? I want to ask you something.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: What do you think they're gonna say? Oh no, they're
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: not gonna tell the truth. I'm the husband. You asked
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: me question, Well, honey, um, what time did you come
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to bed? Yeah? I know it was like because I
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: woke up during the night and you weren't there. Where
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: were you watching tv? Oh? What what time did you
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: stop watching TV? Does in and out? You know? Where
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: was where? Where was Ellen? Where Ellen? Keisha? Where was Keisha?
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Drunk or sober and sober? You know who Kish is?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: My sister, you know, my younger sister watching a movie.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Why why do you have to get so drunk and
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: drink all the time? Why you know that irritates me?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: That's why do you want to I'm your wife of
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: nineteen years? Why would you want to hear? Take me?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: That's why you drink? Trying to get and this helped
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: me motor? What did you asking? So? Do you do
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you like my sister? You find her attractive? You know
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: of your sisters were family? Yeah, I know we're family.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I know we're family. But you stayed down there a
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: long time and I think you're kind of attracted to
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: my sister and nobody look here, look I think you are.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I st you looking at her. How we're gonna talk?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: You don't want one off? Standing with the bed now
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you left down here by myself. Nobody talked to I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: dying here talking to your sister. I don't like it
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: when you drink. I got upset. You don't like the drinking.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Why are you drunk now? You sound drunk because we've
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: been married for nineteen years, and what's wrong with that?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: You're still death? You know that, right? That's a the
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: vows said. You heard me, till death do us part?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: You know the vows? We just part already. Gosh, I
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: hate you don't have me nothing else about your baby's sister,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: but we just family, and I stayed down here to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: talk with him. I thought you guys were watching TV.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Were you watching TV? Or were you talking? We were
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: talking about the movie. Oh well, how are you gonna
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: talk about the movie and watch the movie at the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: same She don't know how to be knowing all it
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: was a military movie. It was shooting, and she was laking.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: What kind of good stuff it? What movie was it?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Ex Metal Jacket? There's no such movie. You guys were
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: watching a love story. I think, why ain't nobody in here? Lord? Right,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I gotta go. I don't want to talk to you,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and I'm so upset with you being upset. You all
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go drunk. I'm divorcing you email exactly. Okay,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: that proves my part. You guys did it. I knew it.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I knew it. Email at your Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: on today, Strawberry letter. Coming up in ten minutes from
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: the Talk, it will be our girl Cheryl Underwood. Right
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Carla will
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: spill spill the tea inside of Carlo's reality update. But
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: right now, Steve, our girl from the Talk, is here,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: please introduce. Hey, Steve Harvey, listen to me. I know, okay,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I got a lot of things out of my mind.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: But the first night they dropping dimes on for they
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: were like, look, I was told to pay the money,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and I paid the money and I took it out
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: of the campaign fund. They got him. And let me
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: tell you what they're gonna have to do, because you know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I go to the Republican meetings. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: What they're gonna have to do is I think they
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: circling the wagons. They always say follow the money. They
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: said that in Watergate. They said that every time you
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: want to bring somebody down, you follow the money, and
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: they followed the money. Cohen give him up. Mataphor. It
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: shocked like a mug. You'll see the look on metaphor
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: face when they say guilty eight counts. So now they
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: may be hoping for a prop pardon, but I hate
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: the President's lawyers are saying, don't pardon neither one of them.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: But if you don't pardon them, they're gonna tell everything,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: which means to Congress could bring an indictment of impeachment.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: That's why we have got to get get everybody registered
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the boat for the mid term. You gotta flip the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: House and the Senate, and you got a scary Republicans.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Let me tell you what's scaring the Republicans right now.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: The visitor of our country who's involved in the death
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: of that girl. Where did he work at? GOP? Dude?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: That own that's he's GOP. Now, this is the way
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I heard. This is his farm that's right there right.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I've t is hypocritical. That's why all these rich boys
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: that's restaurants building, they build hotels, that's own golf courses,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and they in the farming industry. He worked there because
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: he hired him. That that's right, that's right, and and
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I want to be clear, and I want to be
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: clear for the Steve Harvey Morning Show family listeners all
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: over the world. Immigrants, the migrants do not commit more
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: crimes than you as born people. What I'm saying right
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: now is it's it's it's it's that's what you're right.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Steve is saying what you said. Because the young man
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: worked at the farm and it's a leading Iowa GOP family,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: they're taking a bad I love the fact that Cohen
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: say he refuses, his lawyers say refused to accept a
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: partner because I think times are changing and they're about
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: to drop the dime. That's what everybody's gonna start talking now.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: And they know they was in collusion because man was
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: with the Ukrainian. Cohen's lawyer Davis, not Danny Davis, the congressman.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Davis say he will he refuses to take accept a
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: pardon from President Trump. Refuses and see that that's that's
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: that's that's bs. You think he won't do it, You
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: think you'll do it. You think you think for one
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: moment that this man would not accept a pardon that
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: would keep him from going to prison. Are you kidding
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: me out? And if he's mad at Trump enough and
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: if you know, he gonna come out and he could
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: be richer for it, and he gets revenge. I know
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: people say vineance his mind, say at the low War,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: but a lot of people like to get revenge when
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: they feel like they've been done wrong. You know they're
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: gonna courage themselves, they want to purge themselves. But look,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: we're gonna keep you posted on all of this, all
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: information we find. I would bring it first to the
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Steve Every Morning show because I be at the meeting.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: But what I'm gonna need everybody to do. I'm gonna
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: need you all to get ready to vote. Don't just
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: register yourself, register five ten twenty. Bring him to the polls,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: make sure we go to the post in the midstterm,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: flip the House in the Senate, and then see if
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: they've not Listen everybody that loved President Trump, that listen
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, We're not against President Trump. Were just
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: for what is right and my rightsident we are forward
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: is right and this is not our coach. We're running
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: on hustle Man of Ford was with the Ukrainians. That
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: was with the Russians. Now you notice everything on the
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: internet and social media is anti black and white, so
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you can separate us. That's the Russians manipulating us. Then
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: you got the terraces with the Chinese, and then you
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: got everything that's been going on with the North Koreans.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I'm just saying it all looked like collusion, which leads
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: to conspiracy, and conspiracy is the crime, and it helped
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: him win this selection. That's all I'm saying. That's all
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: together together. Now, let me put some mouse together. I
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: love the picture of Lebron Jane with with Kyrie and
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Kevin Durant. Now y'all need to come on to make
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the Lake us the bomb now, because so I can
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: start dating basketball players like I did in the Showtime era,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: like I did with the Bulls. That's the only way
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: they was winning over there, helping people self esteem, Sir,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: your days dating basketball, No, they're not all. I gotta lose.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I gotta all. I gotta lose sixty five pounds. You

- 1:15:47Speaker 1: or three leagues you missed you you have for you
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to start dating basketball players. Yes, you're gonna have to
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: start attending some of these Hall of Fame in Duff.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Already got that unlocked six or five pounds. I'll go
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: back to my kiddy cat outfit, my taste, kidding outfits.

- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Christina Aguilaris, they should have brought out with a little girl,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Ariana grand As, they should have brought out Mary j
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: But let me tell you who should have kicked it off,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Lord Hill. A rose is still a rose? Is the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: but that these kids remember, and then introduced the vim
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: A audience to Aretha Franklin. How powerful these singers are.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: We don't have a lot of power singers because black
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: entertainment telling go do it. VMAs, you're wrong, you're wrong,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: you're wrong. And Madonna don't ever get up and do
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: that no more. Thank you, Cheryl Underwear. We appreciate you.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Thank you so much. We'll be back with more of
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this and Carl's
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Reality Update up next. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: All right, Tommy, it's time for reality. Come on, introduce
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: you know what you do? All right, then let's get
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: to it. It's that time. She is here, Carlor with
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: reality updates. All right, thank you, nephew. Here we go.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Potomac the Reunion Show. Yeah, we're gonna
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: talk about that because you know, we didn't get to
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: see Power Steve Sunday night. They didn't show it. Yeah,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I know, I've told him. I'll catch up with him later.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: So we'll talk about ghosts of them next week. But
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: listen to this Real Housewives of Potomac the Reunion Show.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: So Karen broke down. She walked off on stage. She
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: was crying during the filming of the Reunion Show Part
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: one this week, and she was dealing with a lot
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: of grief. She lost her dad recently and then before
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: that her mom, and so with all the drama on stage,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: she just cried and walked off set. Then Gizelle went
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: backstage to try to comfort her and told her that
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: she was a very strong woman. So now fast forward
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: to part two. Carry You don't know Petomy, but you
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: know Giselle. You Knowiselle. She said she's getting on your
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: talk show. She used to be married to our pastor,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Jamal Bryant. I didn't know. I didn't even know that
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: until after the show. Yeah, after she made an appearance
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: on your show. Yeah she is. I love her. I
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: love her to death. Anyway, So Giselle, uh, you know,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: she went back and comfort Karen and talked to her,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: and she just basically came out and told the cast
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: the rest of the cast members that Karen felt alone
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: and that she was dealing with a lot of grief,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and that that grief, you know, when we've all been
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: there and when you're just dealing with so much. She
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: just kind of broke down. And uh, it's kind of confusing, though, Shirley,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: wouldn't you say Giselle and Karen's friendship. I don't really
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: understand their cool one minute, then they beat the next minute,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: then they're cool so that all the housewife shows it's
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: pretty much but too right here, I scratched my head
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: a lot with them. I don't understand that they're cool.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: They're not cool. But you're right, Steve, you have a point.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: All of them seemed like they're the same way with
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: the friendships. But I won't appreciate Gaselle going back there
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: to come. She did go check on her girl, she
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: did do that, but they don't fight on that one,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: didn't you know, fish fight. It's been some moments on
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: each other too. They do all that almost. It's not
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: like a half as ship and we're fighting and that
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: well somebody comes in and break it up, you know,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: it's like yeah, So Sterisa Monique, they started arguing about
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: the whole thing with Giselle and her ex boyfriend, and
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: then they brought his ex on the show to try
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: to hurt Giselle. So Giselle, it was back and forth
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: about that, and Gizelle just basically just blaming Monique. Monique
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: feels like Chari's played a part in it too, and
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: so I just don't think it's cool that your friends
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: with someone and then you bring their X around to
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: try to hurt them. So that was just a low blow.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: That's just girlfriend code. You broke the code on that
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: both of them did. So it was a lot of
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: drama around that the ex boyfriends X his ex woman.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: They bought her on the show to try to upset Giselle,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: to say, hey, this is your man. At the time, well,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Giselle and her Man was having problems, so they bought
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: his ex woman on the show for appearance. No, she's
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: divorced from him. He was. She was dating a guy
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: named Sherman. Sherman's ex. They bought her on the show.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Her name is Kendall. They bought her on the show
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: to try to upset Gizelle, and Gizelle called about on
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: it basically, and I'm just saying that supposed to be girlfriend. Uh,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: he's pretty. She's a pretty girl. But you know, Jazelle
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: is who you bring on? Ain't his fine? Is me
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you lose? Yeah? Ja is very confident, so yeah, she
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: she felt like she's all of that in the bag
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: of chips anyway, So it was all good. And then
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: finally Ray he kept this whole tax thing from his wife,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: caring his whole company being in trouble. They talked about
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: you already said you don't watch you don't watch this
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: particular friend any name. They are in the Potomac area. Yeah,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the Maryland, d C. Area. But no, this is not
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Ray Lewis, the football player. No, okay, yeah. So anyway,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: so they asked him about his finances and his company
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: having taxed troubles all in the Washington Post and why
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: he kept that from his wife. And he felt like
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: that he could fix his wife so crazy. So anyway,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: that was that with the whole tax issue, and he
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: got a telephone. Yeah, it was bad. It was bad.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: He tried to fix it. I guess he thought he
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: was trying to protect his wife and she didn't know.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: But I don't know. I didn't believe all that. I
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: think she knew. I think she knew what was going
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: on with her husband and issues and the finances, and
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: they were just trying to clean it up and make
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: it look good. That's what I believe. Anyway. Moving on,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Keeping up with the Kardashians, Chlaude Kardashian um her and
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: her mom Chris, and Chris feels like that on the show. Now,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: keep in mind, on the show, Chloe is pregnant on
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: the show, and she's carrying her baby, true, the baby
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: that she has with Tristan. You're talking about the one
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: on the quiet that I'm supposed to be leaving my
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: wife for the very one. Very yes, yes, very real. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: well maybe you can tell me since you have this
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: relationship with Chris. Basically, Chris was telling Chloe that she
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: felt like she could kind of live a little bit
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: with her pregnancy, because you know, Chloe was always conscious
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: about her weight and she always wants to eat healthy
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: and exercise, and so Chris her mom was telling like, girl,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you gotta live a little bit given to your cravings
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and you know, kind of have fun with your pregnancy.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: So she was bringing her dozens of Crispy Crean donuts
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and making posta for her and just trying to get
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Chloe to gain a little weight. Chloe was like, no,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: she didn't want to have a big baby because Tristan
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: this big, and she didn't want have problems with her complications.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Any inside information you have on that, Steve, since you're
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: real cool with Chris, John, I don't know nothing about
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: that damn family. But I'll tell you this right here.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I gained ten pounds on the boat this year. Yeah
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: all right, well that's it. If you want to comment
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: on Real Housewives of Potomac or keeping up with the
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: kardash and she can always be up at lips spark
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Carla hashtag Carla's reality update and we'll be back at after.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show, all right, listen
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: to the story, Steve, make sure because we definitely want
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: you to comment on this. This is crazy, all right.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: ESPN will not be broadcasting the national anthem before Monday
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Night football games this year. President Jimmy Pataro said, we
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: generally have not broadcast at the anthem and I don't
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: think that will change this year. Our plan going into
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: this year is to not broadcast the anthem. ESPN is
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: not a political organization and that it will only cover
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: political topics as they pertain to sports coverage and storytelling telling.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: While President Trump blasted ESPN's terrible decision to stop broadcasting
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the national anthem during televised football games during Israeli and
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: West Virginia on Tuesday Night, Trump characterized espn skipping of
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the national anthem before the NFL games as unpatriotic. Patriotic
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: when you don't pay you taxes, and a lot of
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: patriotic is when you don't let the American public as
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: has all forty four other presidents exposed a tax retterms.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: He had most stuff to be worried about the NFL.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: You know, he tried to suit the NFL about three
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: decades ago when he tried to buy a I'm just saying,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: your former campaign manager is guilty, and your lawyer has
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: played guilty. You talking about the NFL and said you
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: directed him to pay off. I know you can't sleep
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: at night. I don't want football games to hear huh
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: what you say. I don't watch football games to hear
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: the apbem No anyway, right, I don't give a damn
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: about the coin toss, none of that. I will kick
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: off and let's go. Yeah, it just came off this mascot,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: let's get it. Trump has long attacked NFL players who
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: kneel in protests during the national anthem and demanded demanded
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: NFL owners take action against players who don't stand up
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: for the flag. Trump kicked off his rally by praising
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: his voters as patriots while condemning the NFL. Really, that's
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: a lot to put in to put on that that really,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Like I said, he got a lot more stuff to
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: be here. But yeah, yeah, he needed to worry about
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: that black dude that was standing behind him at this
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: West Virginia rally that looked like he was paid to
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: be them. He was so uninterested and what was going on?
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: He got his paper though, Could we hear from him again? Oh? Yeah,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: you want me to go get him? Yeah? How did
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: it go? Yeah, go get him Steve. Yeah, it will
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: go on Earl girl shop. You know my my second cousin,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: he owned the paint comp. Okay, how's how's the barbecue
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: business now? Since you were on TV? Oh? Everything that
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: picked up. You know, Willed Barbecue really is slamming. Now.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: You don't want to thank or the Fox for putting
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: us on. As long as they did. It actually worked out.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: You're wonderful for us, you know, standing back there, I
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: didn't know really what I was back there fore, but
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: they paid me five hundred so I stood there and
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: it worked out. Can I say this, earle Um? You
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: you um, I'm you know. I'm sure they were happy
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: you were there, but you didn't really act like you
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: were a part of it, like you were interested in
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: what was going on. He can't tell you too. Yes,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: I ain't know what hell going on? You see, I
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: working it back. I'm in the back right then the
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: white woman came up to me said she had five
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: hundred if I staying right here. So I do it
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: right now. Take my damn head off doing not for winning.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: You don't know willing barbecue make a miracle great again.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: I want American needs someone damn barbecue. Thank you, Eli,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: appreciate you coming by and clearing everything up. We'll have
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: more for you. Know what you sound Jeffy like that, Whitely.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Show right after this. By Earl in the Blue Shirts.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show right now.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: It is time for today's entertainment. News Now. T MZ
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: is reporting that Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, did not
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: have a will at the time of her death. The
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: site claims court documents state that the Queen of Soul
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: passed into state, meaning she will. She had no will
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: at the time of death, and this means, according to
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Michigan law, that her estate will be divided equally between
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: her four children. She had four sons, as you recall, um,
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: and yeah, as we previously told you are Wretha Franklin's
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: funeral is set for next week, with an open viewing
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: for the public taking place in August twenty nine, and
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: a private service for just family and friends set for
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: August thirty one. R I p rest in Peace, Queen
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: of stul And Entertainment news Nicki Minaj is not backing
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: down despite the dragging she's received for claiming she's the
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: new Harriet Tubman. To review, Nikki compared herself to Harriet
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Tubman for fighting for for streaming service numbers to count
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: toward Billboard chart placement. In case you missed it, Nikki
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: called out Spotify and the fact that her album debuted
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: at number two. She tweeted, all the queens I know
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: shook blank up, shook sugar, honey, iced tea up. Queen
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: of the week may go to Harriet Tubman. Had she
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: just sat there and ate her rice you in words,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: history would have been a lot less triumphant. Well. Twitter
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: went in on me for that one. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: she said him outful, didn't she? Uh. One of the
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: best quotes was from someone who said to Nikki, comparing
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: your album sales to Harriet Tubman's fight for freedom is
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: the most stupid commentary on slavery in two thousand eighteen,
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: and that includes Kanye sayings slavery was a choice. Yeah,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: we thought that was the thing. No matter of fact,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Kanye tweeted what the head of episode Kanye's tweet worlds
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: thank you off the hook? Now, Yeah, finally, I don't understand.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: You know, I've never met Nicki Minaj or anything, but
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: you know that that's just a little bit. That's that's
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: a lot. You know, that's too much and just right
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: up there with her as too much. It's just too much. Really,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: it's you go too far? Yes? Are you saying it? Though?
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Tom And we're talking about what she said about Harry
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Tubman too fun behind now stopped finally, Uh, well, we're
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: gonna move on to Tommy. Word has it that Tony
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: Braxon recently shared why she put her wedding to Birdman
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: on hold. And no, no, before you start hating and
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: all of that, there is no trouble in paradise. Apparently
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: these two cannot settle on a date. It's as simple
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: as that they got engaged back in February. And yeah,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: and originally, originally, originally they planned to jump the broom
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: on eighteen. You can go to Steve Harvey FM dot
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: com for more entertainment news into common if you like. Okay, alright,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: coming up, it's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: don't want to miss it. At forty nine after the hour,
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day. Wow, what
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: a day it was with all the things going on
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: in Washington and oh my goodness, there's so much going
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: on in the world. Um so, Steve, we need you
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: right now, like more than ever, you know, save the world.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: We need you to save the world, and we need
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: you to run for president like you promised. And thank
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: you for introducing this to Earl. Yeah standing behind, Yes,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: really did not give a day. Hit us with some
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: closing remarks. You know, I got this uh plaque from
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: a friend of mine and and it again caused me
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: to think of some things that that that I often
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: have to be aware of myself. I think back on
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: my life, and I think of so much wasted time
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: when I was just involved in nothing. I spent so
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: many non productive hours of my life without giving much
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: forethought to my future. I was young you know, I
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: just assumed that the future was coming. Well guess what
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: it came, and guess what. I wasn't really ready when
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: he got here. And so now that the future is here,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: I constantly have to I constantly have to keep an
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: eye on what I'm really really doing. And I want
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: to share this with you all today and it's it's
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: it's very simple, but that's that's the best way for
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: me to be as a motivational person. Listen to this.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Stop planting flowers in people's yards who ain't gonna watering.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Stop planting flowers in people's yards who ain't gonna watering.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Do you know how many people in your life you
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: invest in who ain't gonna give you all themselves any return?
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Do you know how many people you have tried to
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: help who ain't really even trying to help themselves. You
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: have any idea of how many hopes and dreams you've
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: put into people believing in them when they won't even
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: believe in themselves. Do you have any idea how many
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: people in your life like that? Do you know how
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you keep won'ting, hoping and praying for people all the
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: time to get better, do better, be better, try more,
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: be mo won't more, and you just keep planting flowers
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: in their yard and they have no intention of watering them.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Listen to me, Take all of that attention and give
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: it to somebody who wants it. Take all of that
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: attention and start giving it to somebody who really needs it.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: Take all of that attention and give it to somebody
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: who would really really appreciate it, because stop wasting your
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: time planting flowers in people's yards who ain't gonna water him.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: That's crazy. Do you know how guilty of this I've been.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: I just pull and pull and pull into people who
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: don't want to be poured into. I remember one time
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: I was with a group of what I thought was
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: friends of mine and I was sitting there. I was
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: in Hollywood, and I was trying to share with them
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: this financial success that I had heard that I had
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: had and how I went about it. And we were
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: all really cool, I thought. And when I got through
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: telling them about what I did and how, because they
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: asked me, now, how did you do that? And this
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: was a long time ago and I wasn't even here now,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: but I knew something back then and I shared it
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: with him, and when I walked away. You know what
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I got here? He think he know everything. He always
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: trying to help somebody. We just be chilling and having
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: a good time, and here he come Mr. Motivation And
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: I had walked up on him and heard him talk
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: about them, and I was I just went to get
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: something to bring it to him in this book that
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: I had read that really really helped me turn some
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: things around. And when I was getting ready to walk
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: back in the room, I was standing and I heard
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: him saying it, and I kind of peeked through the
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: door and I looked at the discuss like you get
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: on my nes. I always think you know everything, always
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: trying to detail somebody something. We just want to chill
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: and have a good time. I would, I'll be done,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: I'll be down. And I'm telling you, from that moment on,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: I became very conscious about who I poured stuff into it.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: I became very conscious about where I was playing flowers.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: But even today I still have to remind myself, Steve,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: you're tripping, You're talking and they ain't listening. You're giving
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: and they ain't gonna pay it back. They say they
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: want it, but they really don't. This falling on death
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: is hey Steven. Keep it moving, don't don't get down
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: off the wall, brother, keep it pushing. You ain't got
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: time for them. Don't come down off the wall to
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: help them, and they ain't really trying to get up
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: on the wall. Don't do that no more. I have
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: to tell myself that all the time. So I just
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: wanted to remind you all of that. Be very very conscious.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: Take in. Stop planting flowers in people's yards who ain't
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: got no intentions of watering. Come on, Yeah, that's for
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: me right there. I've been staying up with Tom and
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: giving him questions. Oh nice boy, ain't got not one
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: I send up here for our flash cards. Man working
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: over there blinking, don't know nothing I got. So I
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: thank you. That's helping people. Last night, your last night,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: that's funny. Can I please remind people to join me
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: today and for the Strawberry Letter live on Facebook at
