- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show man, y'all do
- 2:14Speaker 1: And um I'm grateful for it too, I really really am.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I really can't even um, I can't even begin to
- 2:23Speaker 1: tell you. Just take a slight inventory of your own
- 2:26Speaker 1: life and say it to yourself when you get through,
- 2:28Speaker 1: how good is God? Think of all the small things,
- 2:31Speaker 1: all this, because that's him. You breathe as him, you
- 2:35Speaker 1: still him. That's him. You got another chance, that's him.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You ain't out of here. That's him. You got any
- 2:43Speaker 1: measure of health. That's him. You're optimistic. That's him. You
- 2:49Speaker 1: think it's more to it than it really is, that
- 2:51Speaker 1: it already showed up to be. That's him. All of that.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You got any dreams of aspirations, you dream of other things,
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's him all let that's him. That's him him close,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you got, that's him every time you eat. That's why
- 3:05Speaker 1: they had this thing called you say your grace. That's him.
- 3:08Speaker 1: That's him, man, that's him. It's amazing when you take
- 3:11Speaker 1: a small inventory how you find out how big God
- 3:14Speaker 1: really is in your life. Now, the more you turn
- 3:17Speaker 1: yourself over to him, the bigger he can be. For
- 3:19Speaker 1: you see, he'll only be as big as you let him.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's one thing about God. Now, he's a gentleman because
- 3:26Speaker 1: he could buffalo this whole thing if he wanted to.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Don't don't don't think he can't. He can make you
- 3:31Speaker 1: do anything. You know, you get too big for him.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You know you you you you, you lose your humbleness.
- 3:39Speaker 1: He can humble you. Now. Don't think he can't. You
- 3:43Speaker 1: know he can bring countries down if he won't to.
- 3:46Speaker 1: But God created man with the power of choice. We're
- 3:52Speaker 1: the only creature he created that. He gave us the
- 3:55Speaker 1: total power of choice when we made who we made
- 3:58Speaker 1: with you know everything, all of it. Man, it's the
- 4:03Speaker 1: choice what we want to be, how much you want
- 4:05Speaker 1: to make Where we want to live with climate we
- 4:07Speaker 1: want to live in. We can live in cold climates,
- 4:09Speaker 1: high climates. You know, we speak different languages. You can
- 4:12Speaker 1: go learn another language. A bear can't do nothing but
- 4:17Speaker 1: be a bar is. He can't go learn how to
- 4:21Speaker 1: be a fox. He can't go learn how to be
- 4:24Speaker 1: an honor. We are the one creature he created that
- 4:28Speaker 1: has total power of choice. You can make every decision
- 4:31Speaker 1: in your life. What kind of what you like? That's
- 4:34Speaker 1: the one you can buy. Come on, you want to
- 4:40Speaker 1: live your life a crime, Go ahead, that's you. He
- 4:44Speaker 1: gave you the power of choice. You want to do right?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Come on, so now look at this thing. We are
- 4:52Speaker 1: all the results, oh, of a series of decisions that
- 4:59Speaker 1: we have made. And I need of you getting mad
- 5:03Speaker 1: at God. We are a series of decisions that we
- 5:06Speaker 1: have made. We made all these decisions. You weigh that
- 5:11Speaker 1: because that's what you want to weigh. Now if you
- 5:13Speaker 1: don't want to weigh that, and then you know, let's
- 5:17Speaker 1: make some other decisions. You can't eat corn bread and
- 5:22Speaker 1: fried chicken and and and and mac and cheese. And
- 5:25Speaker 1: then look how you want to look that you made
- 5:28Speaker 1: the decision now, the fact that it's there and it
- 5:32Speaker 1: tastes good. What that got to do with the decision.
- 5:35Speaker 1: If we could just identify that the problem is us,
- 5:40Speaker 1: we could begin the solution. That's the problem, y'all. It's us.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It is what we do. I threw my life down
- 5:48Speaker 1: the hill. I can't tell you how many years based
- 5:52Speaker 1: on some decisions that I was making. Now I can
- 5:54Speaker 1: justify my decision with I wasn't happy and I was
- 5:57Speaker 1: doing this and I was in misery, and y'all on
- 6:00Speaker 1: then yeah, yes to you when you get through. You
- 6:02Speaker 1: made the decisions, though you made the decisions to do wrong. See,
- 6:08Speaker 1: two wrongs don't make it right. And you can look
- 6:11Speaker 1: at this anywhere you want to, y'all. But at the
- 6:12Speaker 1: end of the day, I'm just talking to people that's
- 6:14Speaker 1: really really wanting to improve their position in life. How
- 6:19Speaker 1: do you come up with a solution? You got to
- 6:22Speaker 1: identify the problem to even begin to solve it. But
- 6:28Speaker 1: if the problem ain't ever you, how are you gonna
- 6:32Speaker 1: solve something that ain't you? If somebody says like I
- 6:37Speaker 1: got a child of mine. Man, I just do right here. Man,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I don't even wanna get into it this morning, or
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm struggling with this this boy. But man, you go
- 6:46Speaker 1: to people, you're asking why they do so. I just
- 6:49Speaker 1: I just wasn't taking care of business. Why do you
- 6:53Speaker 1: understand that your life is gonna be filled with you
- 6:56Speaker 1: got to take care of business. So when you're gonna start,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you can't go through life blaming everybody. It's got to
- 7:03Speaker 1: be you. See, you can fix you. You can't fix
- 7:06Speaker 1: nobody else. If you keep getting married and the marriages
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't work? Hello, could it be you? Southoindly had to
- 7:14Speaker 1: sit down and just make that decision. They don't need
- 7:16Speaker 1: to be coming on the radio talking about nobody else
- 7:19Speaker 1: and what they did to me and y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: what about the part you played in it? Because see,
- 7:25Speaker 1: if you got a good marriage, you got a part
- 7:27Speaker 1: to play in that. If you got a bad one,
- 7:29Speaker 1: you got a part to play in that. Even if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you just get down to you the one to pick them,
- 7:34Speaker 1: how about that? Mr Mr. I made a decision. So
- 7:38Speaker 1: you know, man, once you can I start identifying the problem,
- 7:42Speaker 1: you can get on with the solution. The problem is
- 7:45Speaker 1: usually within yourself. Do you know That's the quickest and
- 7:48Speaker 1: an easy way to fix your life. Fix yourself that way.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You ain't got to check with nobody. Here's the beauty
- 7:55Speaker 1: of going on and admitting that is you. You don't
- 7:59Speaker 1: have to check or cleared with nobody to start the
- 8:02Speaker 1: repair process. You don't need anybody's permission. You ain't gotta
- 8:07Speaker 1: put it before the review board to see if it
- 8:09Speaker 1: will pass. It ain't got to go through Congress. You
- 8:12Speaker 1: ain't gotta hope that your local politicians get their hands
- 8:15Speaker 1: on it to make a phone call for you. You
- 8:17Speaker 1: ain't gotta ask any counselors to come in and sit
- 8:19Speaker 1: with you. You don't have to check in the rehab.
- 8:21Speaker 1: All you got to do is decide the problem is me.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna start changing me. Identify the problem and start
- 8:33Speaker 1: with the part that you can own up to. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: that's the deal, y'all it really is, And see you
- 8:48Speaker 1: when you Once you identify the problem, then all you
- 8:51Speaker 1: gotta do is start to play it. Once you identify
- 8:56Speaker 1: the problem, you can start planning on how to fix
- 8:59Speaker 1: it or how to get to accomplishing something. But remember
- 9:02Speaker 1: this plan, and this important. If you fail to plan,
- 9:08Speaker 1: then please plan to fail. If you fail to plan,
- 9:14Speaker 1: then guess what. Please plan to fail. It cannot go
- 9:19Speaker 1: any other way. If you don't know how to make
- 9:22Speaker 1: a plan. Let's just start with the basics. Just make
- 9:26Speaker 1: a list of what you want. If you don't know
- 9:29Speaker 1: how to make a plan, I bet you know how
- 9:31Speaker 1: to make a list of things you want. Make this
- 9:35Speaker 1: list and then go to God in prayer with an
- 9:39Speaker 1: open mind, and open your mind up to all the
- 9:44Speaker 1: clean opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of
- 9:48Speaker 1: people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't
- 9:52Speaker 1: want to do them. That kills me. Man when I
- 9:55Speaker 1: hear here, I ain't doing that. I know young comedians
- 9:58Speaker 1: that come to me all the time talking about man
- 10:00Speaker 1: with You're not said, man, just take every gig you can,
- 10:02Speaker 1: no matter what they pay. Well, listen to me, son,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you can go make that money that they pay, or
- 10:10Speaker 1: you can make the decision to sit at home and
- 10:12Speaker 1: make nobody. It's a comedy, hard business. They ain't paying
- 10:17Speaker 1: but a hundred dollars. You gotta drive, drive fifty miles.
- 10:20Speaker 1: But if you drive fifty miles and you make the hundred,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and you stand on that stage for thirty minutes. You
- 10:26Speaker 1: are now thirty minutes better than you was the last
- 10:29Speaker 1: time you went on stage. Oh man, man, they don't
- 10:33Speaker 1: pay me. I ain't coming. You ain't gonna be a
- 10:36Speaker 1: comedian man, not not not not not like this. Hell,
- 10:39Speaker 1: a lot of people just don't want to do what's
- 10:41Speaker 1: necessary to do. So when the opportunity presents itself and
- 10:45Speaker 1: you open up your mind to it, man didn't get
- 10:47Speaker 1: ready to go on and do it. Man, you know
- 10:51Speaker 1: so remember, come on, y'all, identify your problem. Today. You're
- 10:56Speaker 1: listening to Lady kill them boys and girls who are
- 11:03Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. If it sounds weird,
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's because it's about to get weirder. We are here
- 11:11Speaker 1: today to entertain, but mostly tripp you out, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:21Speaker 1: In the words of a celestial being from the hood,
- 11:25Speaker 1: this is dell moaning, show fisted shared. You got them,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you got the relatives. That's old but still used it.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You know, these women's just be walking around here. There
- 11:44Speaker 1: is no z or women. These women's children's, yes, these children's.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I have Aunt New Orleans today. Everything she says Collins,
- 12:04Speaker 1: what is it everything? Hey? Ba hey, the detoxes old.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'm having call. We're to slice up pound. Kay. Hey,
- 12:25Speaker 1: I'm looking at some grapes in a bowl. I'm looking
- 12:30Speaker 1: at coffee with carey. I wanted it, yeah, I want
- 12:36Speaker 1: it all back in the moment, gradual. You're supposed to
- 12:42Speaker 1: graduate graduate now, man, my doctor is still hire dog.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm really I'm really focusing on my health because I've
- 12:50Speaker 1: made a conscious decision that God gives us two incredibly
- 12:55Speaker 1: valuable commodities, time and health. They're the two most important
- 13:00Speaker 1: things in your life. If you're out of either one
- 13:02Speaker 1: of those, you are in a world of trouble. You know.
- 13:05Speaker 1: On one of my posts the other day, first of all,
- 13:07Speaker 1: good morning, y'all. Were just guys. Let me tell you something.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I did a post exercising. One time, a woman said,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you could, Why are you exercising so much? What you're
- 13:18Speaker 1: trying to tell us? When God called you? Home's your time?
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't care how much you exercise. And sixty is
- 13:25Speaker 1: not the new forty sixty is sixty. I went, you
- 13:29Speaker 1: ain't got to get to get to God fat. Somebody
- 13:36Speaker 1: already owned medication sixty sixty and when God called you home,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I don't care about you working out. I went, Wow,
- 13:46Speaker 1: So your quality of time here can be better if
- 13:51Speaker 1: you're in shape. Now when you're gone, you're gone. But
- 13:55Speaker 1: wouldn't you like for the time spent here to be
- 13:58Speaker 1: well spent? Absolutely? Yeah. I didn't told my family if
- 14:03Speaker 1: I ever need require wiping, just gonna put that plub
- 14:07Speaker 1: nobody watching that that I don't want. I'm not gonna wipe.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Madre asked me one time, she said, baby, we got old,
- 14:15Speaker 1: would you wash me? Now? I wash you? But now wiping,
- 14:19Speaker 1: we're gonna high. Yeah, I bathe you now I ain't
- 14:26Speaker 1: got a problem. Yeah, yeah, and wiping bring somebody. Yeah,
- 14:34Speaker 1: we got all right. On that note, Steve, we got
- 14:40Speaker 1: to get out of here. Coming up, it's Junior's turn
- 14:44Speaker 1: with truth be told, and we got to tell you
- 14:46Speaker 1: about Junior two. We forgot to talk about this yesterday.
- 14:49Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty two after you're listening to
- 14:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is time for
- 14:56Speaker 1: Junior's truth be told. Yeah, yeah, all right, Shirley, thanksgivings.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Coming up. It's almost big thing that we have discussed.
- 15:06Speaker 1: All of the things we discussed when people need to
- 15:08Speaker 1: brain food. Yeah, what time dinner start? Time coming. We've
- 15:14Speaker 1: discussed all that. One thing. We have not discussed what
- 15:18Speaker 1: the one thing where your ass need to leave. We
- 15:22Speaker 1: have not people. People don't know when to leave. This
- 15:27Speaker 1: time you need to leave. There are statements that will
- 15:30Speaker 1: be made you need to adhere to and understand. Like,
- 15:35Speaker 1: well that's it. See when you hear that, start getting
- 15:39Speaker 1: your keys in your hand. We hear some Jane something,
- 15:42Speaker 1: it's time to go. You can't spend all the head.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Thenn started to treat it like a restaurant. How long
- 15:47Speaker 1: you staying there? You sit down at two by three thirty?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Same way about I would already have that. I would
- 15:56Speaker 1: hear about the game. We forget all that. You ain't
- 15:59Speaker 1: come up here for the game. You came to eat.
- 16:01Speaker 1: If you fool, If I say you kick off a shot,
- 16:04Speaker 1: your aunt's got to go let me. Yeah, you ain't
- 16:09Speaker 1: staying here all day now. My mama tied, she did
- 16:12Speaker 1: cook that thing and she fit that body. What else
- 16:15Speaker 1: can we talk about? We discussed everything. We know Walter
- 16:19Speaker 1: got out of jail. We know hadn't had a hard transplant.
- 16:22Speaker 1: We know, yeah, we know, we know mailby had another baby.
- 16:26Speaker 1: We got all this after we cover they still having kids?

- 19:09Speaker 1: because Rod slept with his last night. I took my shower. Man,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I was tired of him because I fell asleep in
- 19:15Speaker 1: my office. So I went up stairs. I took a shower,
- 19:19Speaker 1: came into the bedroom. Out of my bathroom, put my
- 19:22Speaker 1: light on on my little phone, rose in the bed.

- 34:50Speaker 1: think I can anyway. This is antwer put the news everybody,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and we do have to get serious. The campaign of
- 34:55Speaker 1: Alabama's already scandalized send It candidate Roy Moore is fighting
- 34:59Speaker 1: back with now an eighth woman counting one seven eight
- 35:03Speaker 1: coming forward to accuse more of sexually abusing her when
- 35:06Speaker 1: she was in her teens. Moore's campaign managers, Bill Armistead.
- 35:09Speaker 1: He says they're now investigating the women leveling those charges.
- 35:12Speaker 1: You can't just stand by idly and let false charges
- 35:15Speaker 1: go without some answering. So they're looking into a lot
- 35:17Speaker 1: of their women's business. And one woman who says that
- 35:21Speaker 1: Roy Moore assigned her book when she was in high school,
- 35:23Speaker 1: they're trying to check her his signature to see if
- 35:25Speaker 1: it was forged and all that kind of stuff. All
- 35:27Speaker 1: dot Com again reports that an eighth woman claims that
- 35:30Speaker 1: Judge Moore groped her inside his law office. Police now
- 35:33Speaker 1: say that there were five, not but not five, but
- 35:36Speaker 1: six people actually shot and killed early this week in
- 35:38Speaker 1: rural California. That before gunman Kevin Jansen Neil killed his
- 35:42Speaker 1: neighbors and other people, he apparently shot his wife to
- 35:44Speaker 1: death and put her body under the floor in their home.
- 35:46Speaker 1: They just discovered that Republicans now hoping to tackle repeal
- 35:50Speaker 1: of the Affordable Care Acts individual mandate onto their new
- 35:53Speaker 1: tax reform bill, which they're going to vote on today.
- 35:56Speaker 1: They feel that's the most unpopular part of Obamacare, been
- 35:59Speaker 1: making people have to buy insurance, so they're gonna try
- 36:01Speaker 1: to sneak that through. We'll see three U c. L
- 36:04Speaker 1: A freshman basketball players, Jalen Hill Cody Riley and lo
- 36:07Speaker 1: Angelo Ball. Yeah, one of the Ball of our Balls
- 36:09Speaker 1: sons back home after being accused of shoplifting sunglasses in China,
- 36:13Speaker 1: all thanks to President Trump, who say that he and
- 36:15Speaker 1: they hint that he intervened on their behalf with his
- 36:18Speaker 1: Chinese counterpart back on us soil. Riley, Ball and Hill
- 36:22Speaker 1: took terms apologizing, and Cody Riley put things like this,
- 36:25Speaker 1: I know that this goes beyond me letting my school down,
- 36:28Speaker 1: but I let the entire country down. I want to
- 36:30Speaker 1: think the Chinese police and the government for taking care
- 36:33Speaker 1: of us and treating us well during our time there.
- 36:36Speaker 1: To President Trump in the United States government, thank you
- 36:39Speaker 1: for taking the time to intervene on our behalf. We
- 36:42Speaker 1: really appreciate you helping us out. That's right, And all
- 36:44Speaker 1: three did thank the President for his help. And all
- 36:47Speaker 1: three have been suspended from the team and definitely but yeah,
- 36:49Speaker 1: they're glad to be home. Today. Is the great American smoke.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I put down that cigarette. Put it down twenty this
- 36:55Speaker 1: after the Hour of Wait for Eugene the Butterfly. Stay
- 36:58Speaker 1: tuned to Steve Harvey Morn Show. You're listening to the
- 37:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, Steve, it is time for
- 37:05Speaker 1: the butterfly. We gotta find out about the twinkle Twinkle
- 37:08Speaker 1: Little Star thing that Junior was talking about earlier. Uh
- 37:11Speaker 1: to Tommy So introduced the butterfly. Whoa do you know
- 37:17Speaker 1: the bottle fly cosa? Ah, dude, Oh my god, that
- 37:29Speaker 1: was built up absolutely. I love that one. That was
- 37:32Speaker 1: that was good. Good morning everyone. No, now it was
- 37:37Speaker 1: too good. That was too good. You know you can't
- 37:39Speaker 1: tap that one. Good morning like he's Charlie Carlin, morning butterfly,
- 37:44Speaker 1: Good morning, Junior, good morning to you. Morning. Butterfly was happy. Tommy,
- 37:50Speaker 1: what's know what that's about? Good money to Stephen, so
- 37:54Speaker 1: good one. You got to have something to ask me? Well, um,
- 37:58Speaker 1: Junior brought it up, the song Butterfly, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,
- 38:03Speaker 1: and then Tommy said, how ironic was that? Butterfly has
- 38:07Speaker 1: a song? Eugene has a song in the play time.
- 38:10Speaker 1: He's a lie, Tommy is a lie. Okay, now I've
- 38:15Speaker 1: seen rockabye baby. See this, This is how my tee
- 38:17Speaker 1: don't know what's going on with the out of Cara.
- 38:20Speaker 1: How can you get how can get mixed up? Twink
- 38:21Speaker 1: twink rock a bye baby? How can you do that?
- 38:25Speaker 1: That's why I probably huh what application? Oh that's a
- 38:32Speaker 1: different song. Here's something that he don't want a try
- 38:36Speaker 1: to know about what. Guess who's getting bucked without him? Who?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Eugene Antoine fergus said, that's right. So I've gotten called
- 38:46Speaker 1: to host this show in Montgomery, Alabama next year, alright
- 38:49Speaker 1: in April. Alright. They don't want Tommy, they just want
- 38:53Speaker 1: me to host it. Baby, you better to add somebody.
- 38:56Speaker 1: This has been going on for a very very very
- 38:58Speaker 1: long time. People have been wanting the hustle name of
- 39:00Speaker 1: the organization. It's a comedy show in my Gomery. But
- 39:04Speaker 1: they don't want Timey. They just want Eugene Antoine Ferguson's
- 39:07Speaker 1: a house to house shout butterfly. Now, this is what
- 39:11Speaker 1: I want to answer, Mr Harvey, Mr Harvey, If if
- 39:14Speaker 1: I get paid to go do this show, shouldn't that
- 39:17Speaker 1: money go towards anything Eugene Antoine Ferguson wants, whether it's
- 39:20Speaker 1: wardrobe or anything else. Am I right now? A portion
- 39:24Speaker 1: of it should? But you do have to pay him
- 39:27Speaker 1: something because he's gonna have to take it. You just
- 39:31Speaker 1: kept it one hundred Steve, so he'll be my assistant,
- 39:35Speaker 1: the high Stephen. That's what he'll be doing. Hey, man,
- 39:38Speaker 1: let me ask your question. How much they're trying to
- 39:40Speaker 1: pay you. I don't want to say that on the radio. See,
- 39:42Speaker 1: but they're gonna pay a very good thing. Well, let's
- 39:44Speaker 1: just okay, Well, are you gonna get paid more than
- 39:47Speaker 1: six thousand? Yes, sir, I am, thank you. That doesn't
- 39:58Speaker 1: the one job drive. Wait a minute, Hey, we gotta
- 40:01Speaker 1: get out of here. Butterfly, are you getting his wardrobe money?
- 40:04Speaker 1: The same old six thousand? Alright? Alright, coming up. The
- 40:11Speaker 1: three U c l A basketball players are back home.
- 40:14Speaker 1: They held their press conference. We'll talk about that. Yeah,
- 40:18Speaker 1: we'll talk about that when we come back at thirty
- 40:20Speaker 1: four after the hour. You're listening to show. Alright, the
- 40:25Speaker 1: three U c l. A basketball players, lo Angelo Ball,
- 40:28Speaker 1: Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill are back home on US soil.
- 40:33Speaker 1: They held a press conference yesterday and uh, here's what
- 40:37Speaker 1: they had to say. Take a listen. I'd like to
- 40:39Speaker 1: start off by saying sorry for stealing from the stores
- 40:42Speaker 1: in China. I didn't exercise my best judgment and I'll
- 40:45Speaker 1: throw for that. I apologize to my family, my coaches,
- 40:48Speaker 1: my teammates and U c l A for letting so
- 40:51Speaker 1: many people down. Also apologize to the people of China
- 40:54Speaker 1: for causing them so much trouble. A young man, however,
- 40:57Speaker 1: it's not an excuse for making a really stupid decision.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I don't feel sorry for myself, and I've learned my
- 41:04Speaker 1: lesson from this big mistake, and I'm a hundred and
- 41:06Speaker 1: tempercent sure that I'll not make a bad decision like
- 41:09Speaker 1: this one again. I'd also like to thank President Trump
- 41:12Speaker 1: in the United States government for the help that they
- 41:14Speaker 1: provided as well. All Right, Steve, so, president Trump got
- 41:18Speaker 1: his thank you that he was looking for when he
- 41:20Speaker 1: tweeted out, well the U c l U c l
- 41:23Speaker 1: A players thank me. Uh they could have gotten ten
- 41:26Speaker 1: years in China. So there it is. First of all,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I hear the sincerity in their voice, and I mean
- 41:34Speaker 1: they did it, so it's not known. You know, we
- 41:38Speaker 1: were falsely accused. This boy came out and said, look,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry for stealing sunglasses. I have to strow in China.
- 41:45Speaker 1: That's pretty much. I all love it. So I know
- 41:48Speaker 1: that you know they're young. They're young, they made a mistake.
- 41:51Speaker 1: They'll never do it again. I got all of that.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Here's the problem with sin, and that's for me. My sins,
- 42:00Speaker 1: past transgressions, everything I've ever done, seeing cost you more
- 42:06Speaker 1: than you want to pay. It makes you stay longer
- 42:10Speaker 1: than you want to stay. This is far from over
- 42:14Speaker 1: for these young men, sadly, but that's the way it works.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And the people that are clamoring for something more to happen,
- 42:22Speaker 1: they're gonna get their wish because ce being detained in
- 42:26Speaker 1: your hotel room for how many other days they had
- 42:29Speaker 1: to stay over there? That doesn't do anything for the
- 42:32Speaker 1: PAC twelve officials, That doesn't do anything for the university.
- 42:37Speaker 1: That doesn't do anything for your teammates. You didn't play
- 42:40Speaker 1: the game, you you've missed all these practices. You are
- 42:45Speaker 1: part of a team which is greater than you. The
- 42:48Speaker 1: suffering that your family did because these kids families. Man
- 42:52Speaker 1: was tripping because this could have easily been ten years.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It's a good thing that the president did in a
- 43:00Speaker 1: because I'm pretty sure that played a large hand in it.
- 43:04Speaker 1: This This is not going to be over for them,
- 43:07Speaker 1: not that I wanted to be. I mean, you know,
- 43:10Speaker 1: I don't want anything else to happen to him, but
- 43:12Speaker 1: it's not my decision. Something else is going to happen,
- 43:16Speaker 1: because it can't be. I stole some sunglasses on an
- 43:20Speaker 1: international trip out of the country, on behalf of a
- 43:25Speaker 1: top flight university program. I'm from a famous basketball family,
- 43:32Speaker 1: not only in Westwood but in the league. Now, the
- 43:37Speaker 1: other two kids, what were they thinking? I got you young?
- 43:42Speaker 1: But like he says, you know, that's not an excuse
- 43:45Speaker 1: for making badges. There's a lot of young cats over
- 43:48Speaker 1: that didn't steal no sunglasses. That's the problem. See, don't suspended.
- 43:56Speaker 1: They have been suspended, and the u c l A
- 43:59Speaker 1: coach Steve Alfred. Steve says that they have to earn
- 44:03Speaker 1: their way back. And their names are lo Angelo Ball,
- 44:07Speaker 1: Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill. Steve, I mean, man, these kids, man,
- 44:13Speaker 1: look man, this could have gone really, really badly for them.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a communist country that they
- 44:20Speaker 1: committed a crime. And you're absolutely right, Steve. And let
- 44:22Speaker 1: me tell you something. If you wasn't on a big,
- 44:24Speaker 1: powerhouse basketball team and you just stole something over there, okay,
- 44:28Speaker 1: you'd be looking at these ten for real. And honestly,
- 44:31Speaker 1: had not the president stepped in on their behalf, you know,
- 44:35Speaker 1: he has to get some credit for that, which is
- 44:37Speaker 1: what he was seeking when he tweeted that. Uh so,
- 44:40Speaker 1: you know, thank god he was there and he was
- 44:42Speaker 1: able to talk to the president of China and work
- 44:44Speaker 1: something out for the guys. And they amply thanked him.
- 44:47Speaker 1: They did, They did, all three of them. And you
- 44:52Speaker 1: saved me from ten Pardner. I don't care if you
- 44:55Speaker 1: had a little bitty hand in it, right, but I
- 44:57Speaker 1: can't do this. Ten. I did think it was I
- 45:00Speaker 1: that the president asked, would they thank him? Well, come on, now,
- 45:05Speaker 1: come on, but it is Donald Trump. Now he's been
- 45:08Speaker 1: several levels. Yeah, it is Donald Trump. All right, thank you. Steve.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Coming up the next the nephew with his prank phone
- 45:14Speaker 1: call right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 45:19Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 45:22Speaker 1: four minutes after today's crazy Strawberry letter. But first, it's
- 45:26Speaker 1: the nephew with the prank phone call. What you got now? Huh?
- 45:30Speaker 1: You heard me? Huh huh. They called me out the dugout.
- 45:35Speaker 1: You know when they when they want to ever leave fence,
- 45:36Speaker 1: it's that time they call it for the nephew. You're ready,
- 45:39Speaker 1: Come on, oh, Schirley today it is shate Leon. Oh
- 45:44Speaker 1: dear shate Leon, you don't want to miss an absolutely
- 45:48Speaker 1: ravaging prank. I must tell you, Shane Leon. Oh god,
- 45:54Speaker 1: somebody you grow up with. You see you seem in
- 45:56Speaker 1: a long time and that's how they talk. Hello, Steve,
- 46:04Speaker 1: how have you been there? Look at it is that
- 46:10Speaker 1: the Mrs Hill Willie, Willie Willie with the English. I'm
- 46:18Speaker 1: gonna stop talking like that and use your real boss English.
- 46:23Speaker 1: You didn't use that voice when we was in jail
- 46:25Speaker 1: that time. Yeah, you weren't talking about Hello, that votes, Hello,
- 46:30Speaker 1: sale lates, none of that. Cook County Shelly. What about Madonna?
- 46:41Speaker 1: She had an English access from Michigan talking con to
- 46:46Speaker 1: for a minute when she lived over there. Yeah, Tina Turner.
- 46:52Speaker 1: But people that English? Yeah, yeah, we talked about people
- 46:56Speaker 1: ain't been no way over there. That's how I do.
- 46:58Speaker 1: When I called go to front as though he started talking, No,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I just slowed my worries down and put looks the
- 47:07Speaker 1: watch z price. Yeah, I know we're here, well and
- 47:16Speaker 1: they're gonna yours go over that with you? All right? Good?
- 47:21Speaker 1: My nephew, Hello, thank you for calling me. Hello. I'm
- 47:27Speaker 1: trying to reach the cold. Please, how you doing. Listen,
- 47:30Speaker 1: my name is Leon, and I was calling you to
- 47:33Speaker 1: see if you had any boofrontal in the salon that
- 47:36Speaker 1: you're working. I'm sorry didn't get you name. What's your
- 47:38Speaker 1: name again? Leon? I mean my real name is Leon,
- 47:41Speaker 1: but my artistic name is Leon. Leon is what they
- 47:44Speaker 1: call me. Okay. Um, Actually, I do have faith for
- 47:49Speaker 1: another person to come in at work. Um. I am
- 47:52Speaker 1: in a sweet um. It's rather small in here, but
- 47:56Speaker 1: if you are interested in coming in working, I would
- 47:58Speaker 1: really like to have someone come in and work with me.
- 48:00Speaker 1: That would be nice. Can I ask you a question them?
- 48:03Speaker 1: What's your background? What do you do? Well? Actually, I've
- 48:07Speaker 1: just moved here to d C. I was actually living
- 48:09Speaker 1: in the Los Angeles area, and you know, I've been
- 48:13Speaker 1: doing hair there for the last probably fifteen twenty years.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I've been doing hair, uh definitely licensed. You know, I
- 48:20Speaker 1: just moved here, but I've been doing here care for
- 48:23Speaker 1: quite a long time. I specialized and only doing females hair.
- 48:26Speaker 1: And um, you know, just looking to get into d
- 48:29Speaker 1: C and get back to work. And I really want
- 48:31Speaker 1: to find a place where I can do some hair
- 48:33Speaker 1: and and you know it's gonna take me a minute
- 48:35Speaker 1: to get some clientele built up. But you know, I
- 48:38Speaker 1: know my work is good. Okay. Well, um, I am
- 48:41Speaker 1: in a high traffic area, and I think this would
- 48:43Speaker 1: be a great area for you just coming in from
- 48:45Speaker 1: another state, especially California. Um, is it possible you can
- 48:50Speaker 1: come in and take a look and see what you
- 48:53Speaker 1: can you know, I'd love I'd love to come in
- 48:55Speaker 1: and take a look and see what I don't in
- 48:56Speaker 1: the type of work environment you have. And so I'm
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm understanding that a lot of people that do had
- 49:02Speaker 1: and have different rooms. Is that how this setup is? Yes,
- 49:05Speaker 1: that's how it's set up. However, I did you actually
- 49:07Speaker 1: have you actually have a sweet? I do have a sweet. Um.
- 49:10Speaker 1: It's a double sweep, so there is room for another technician. Um.
- 49:14Speaker 1: But you know, with it being such close quarters, you know,
- 49:16Speaker 1: you gotta gotta kind of get a feel for the
- 49:18Speaker 1: person that's going to come in and work for you.
- 49:19Speaker 1: So all right, right's gonna be working real close to
- 49:22Speaker 1: each other. Understand. You know, if we kind of meet
- 49:24Speaker 1: each other, you know, we can get a feel for
- 49:25Speaker 1: each other and see if you can work. Let me
- 49:27Speaker 1: ask you something. Have you have you had a phs?
- 49:30Speaker 1: Have you worked around a PHS person before, I'm sorry,
- 49:33Speaker 1: who's a PHS? Have you worked around? I mean, that's
- 49:36Speaker 1: that's pretty much what I do. Have you worked around
- 49:38Speaker 1: a PHS. I'm that I'm not familiar with that term.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Is that a California term? I don't with PHS? Is? Um?
- 49:48Speaker 1: Private hair specialists? Have you worked with a private hair
- 49:50Speaker 1: specialist before? Um? Well, I would consider myself private being
- 49:54Speaker 1: so I'm in a suite but where you would be
- 49:57Speaker 1: working out and open with myself. So I don't know
- 49:59Speaker 1: how private you would be. Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 50:02Speaker 1: you know you don't understand where it's coming from. I'm
- 50:04Speaker 1: a PHS. Okay, private hair specialists, and what that is
- 50:09Speaker 1: is I I do women's private hair, like if they
- 50:14Speaker 1: want removal from under their arm or their chin or
- 50:18Speaker 1: you know. But most of my work actually resides in
- 50:21Speaker 1: the bikini line. Uh. You know, I'm an artist, so
- 50:23Speaker 1: I've known to put your name there. I can die
- 50:26Speaker 1: at a different color mohawk landing strip. You know. Let
- 50:31Speaker 1: me let me let me stop you right there. Um,
- 50:34Speaker 1: you did call and say you were hairstylenced, and the
- 50:36Speaker 1: last time I check the hairstyles, they be style here
- 50:38Speaker 1: the hair on top of the head. Leon does hair,
- 50:41Speaker 1: it doesn't doesn't necessarily have to be the hair on
- 50:43Speaker 1: the head. I'm just saying, I style here, Leon, Sri Lanka.
- 50:47Speaker 1: What's what's your name? Again? I'm sorry, she Leon. You
- 50:50Speaker 1: cannot continue to get this wrong, Shane Leon. Okay, I'm sorry.
- 50:54Speaker 1: What was the name of your mom gave you? Because
- 50:56Speaker 1: my government name is Leon? But okay, Lee Leon, Leon. Again,
- 51:02Speaker 1: this is a suite and you will be working in
- 51:04Speaker 1: the open with myself and my clients who are accustomed
- 51:07Speaker 1: to having a professional setting. Um, and I don't think
- 51:10Speaker 1: it would be appropriate for you to have someone come
- 51:13Speaker 1: in and have a landing strip, airport, a plane, their
- 51:17Speaker 1: baby daddy's name. But I don't, I don't all whatever
- 51:20Speaker 1: you do, that's not what we're about. Here. Are you
- 51:23Speaker 1: trying to say that you're not open for new ideas?
- 51:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. If you consider that a new idea, then
- 51:28Speaker 1: I'm giving you phone number to someone else because this
- 51:31Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that here, I haven't, we're not.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me. You called my salon.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Where did you even get my number from? Why? What
- 51:42Speaker 1: made you think that you could call my shop? And
- 51:44Speaker 1: then this is what we do. When you could come
- 51:45Speaker 1: here and you could do that, well, I'm thinking that
- 51:47Speaker 1: you would be open for something new. Why would you
- 51:50Speaker 1: think that I'd be open for that? Who who told
- 51:52Speaker 1: you that? I mean, you came all the way from
- 51:57Speaker 1: California and you called me. You're not coming to my
- 52:01Speaker 1: palon to call your name anybody else's name, and you
- 52:04Speaker 1: have a landing strip any type of initials. Okay, this
- 52:09Speaker 1: is a professional palan and we found hair. The hair
- 52:12Speaker 1: on the head. That's what I'm doing. I'm staring you
- 52:16Speaker 1: just go up the head, that sir, that's what she does.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Look you, I'm sick of you. I'm sick of you already.
- 52:27Speaker 1: So you know what. This is not even gonna work.
- 52:29Speaker 1: This is not even gonna work again. We're not doing
- 52:31Speaker 1: that here in my shop. I'm sorry. I hope you
- 52:34Speaker 1: can call someone else and maybe they all accept your crash.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry that your career would not a big successful
- 52:39Speaker 1: as as you would like it to be because you're
- 52:41Speaker 1: not open for new ideas. Very successful, thank you. You
- 52:47Speaker 1: know what, I'm gonna come over the pass out fly
- 52:49Speaker 1: in front of your shop, letting them know about shell
- 52:51Speaker 1: Lean and letting them know also that you are not
- 52:54Speaker 1: who you really are. When are you coming? Are you
- 52:57Speaker 1: coming today? Don't worry about when I'm coming. I'm know
- 53:00Speaker 1: where you are. I'm here right now. Can you come today?
- 53:03Speaker 1: Please come, I'm coming to day. Please come over here

- 54:29Speaker 1: tell you about a girl, Cardi B. She already has
- 54:32Speaker 1: a vision, a vision for her upcoming wedding, because that's
- 54:35Speaker 1: what we girls do. You know, once we get that proposal,
- 54:39Speaker 1: you know, okay, you know she's uh Mary getting ready
- 54:43Speaker 1: to marry. Offset from them goes, okay, Well, the way
- 54:47Speaker 1: she sees it, the world is not ready, all right.
- 54:51Speaker 1: She recently revealed what she wants. She says, everyone's going
- 54:54Speaker 1: to be wearing red. She said, and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 54:59Speaker 1: you're not Eddie. She already said, you're not ready. She says,
- 55:03Speaker 1: she's not ready. And she said, and the bride's maids
- 55:07Speaker 1: we'll be wearing suits. Was not dresses suits, So it's room.
- 55:18Speaker 1: So that's it. That's it. You're not ready for that.
- 55:20Speaker 1: And if you didn't know how the romance began between
- 55:23Speaker 1: the couple, it happened the old fashioned way. Um uh
- 55:26Speaker 1: sliding in the d M s apparently offset message. That's
- 55:30Speaker 1: the old fashioned way now right, yeah, hit me on
- 55:35Speaker 1: the barely offset message. What messaged one of her friends, saying,
- 55:40Speaker 1: I want Cardie but she said at the time that
- 55:43Speaker 1: she didn't want to date any rappers. But when Cardie
- 55:47Speaker 1: later connected with Offset at a party, it was on
- 55:50Speaker 1: after that. So now they're heading off to the happily
- 55:53Speaker 1: ever after Congratulations, Explain to me what the world ain't
- 55:56Speaker 1: ready for. They're not they're not ready for a wedding,
- 56:00Speaker 1: for how she's designed and envisioned her wedding. Everyone red,
- 56:05Speaker 1: the bridesmaids wearing suits, you know all of that. They're
- 56:08Speaker 1: not ready for that. They ain't gonna be the first
- 56:12Speaker 1: person to hear people don't read. You do know that
- 56:15Speaker 1: it's gonna be uh televised to like, who was I
- 56:20Speaker 1: think she's gonna be on H one because she used
- 56:24Speaker 1: to be on Love and Hip Hop. I'm sure Mona
- 56:27Speaker 1: Scott got a hand. I was just gonna say Mona
- 56:29Speaker 1: Scott Young was talking about she's already talked to Cardie
- 56:32Speaker 1: B about it. Yeah, yeah, because I think she said
- 56:35Speaker 1: Mona said to BT back off because he wanted it.
- 56:38Speaker 1: But Mona was like, uh so I'm sure we'll see it.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, So get ready, get ready for that. You
- 56:49Speaker 1: know what we are to put on centric What when

- 57:38Speaker 1: you said Tommy's marriage wouldn't last past Thanksgiving of this year,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and we're almost there. It ain't Thanksgiving yet. Oh I'm
- 57:45Speaker 1: gonna make it a thanksgim. What did your tem problem? So?
- 57:50Speaker 1: I don't know about your predictions. I'm just saying, m
- 57:54Speaker 1: you do better, working on better? Come on about how
- 57:57Speaker 1: long I'm gonna be man? All right, we gotta get
- 58:00Speaker 1: to the letter. Alright, buckle up, hold on tight, we
- 58:04Speaker 1: got it for you. It is Strawberry. Let him subject
- 58:08Speaker 1: trapped in a marriage. Dear Steve, I've been married twenty
- 58:11Speaker 1: plus years and have two almost adult kids. I've been faithful, devoted,
- 58:16Speaker 1: trying to hold things together for my family. I didn't
- 58:19Speaker 1: want them to have to live a lifestyle I would
- 58:22Speaker 1: have had to give them had I left my husband.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Now I'm at a point in my life where to
- 58:28Speaker 1: just look at my husband can turn my stomach. Never
- 58:31Speaker 1: having been very compatible, I do the best I could,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and I'm sure he feels the same. Lots of sacrifices
- 58:37Speaker 1: on my part, living with his family, living near his family,
- 58:41Speaker 1: taking care of his parents until they passed, now taking
- 58:44Speaker 1: care of him because he has developed a debilitating illness
- 58:47Speaker 1: and will never work again, and hasn't in the last
- 58:49Speaker 1: ten years. I've met a man, not intentionally, not with
- 58:54Speaker 1: any forethought. He was just there and always seems to
- 58:58Speaker 1: be there when I need a shoulder to cry on
- 59:00Speaker 1: or a token of attention. He's married, and although he's
- 59:03Speaker 1: been very supportive, I doubt that he has any romantic
- 59:06Speaker 1: inclinations towards me anyway. But the feelings I have for
- 59:10Speaker 1: him really show up what I don't feel for my
- 59:14Speaker 1: husband any longer. My feelings for him went through trial
- 59:17Speaker 1: by fire, and there is little left but ashes. Now
- 59:20Speaker 1: that the kids are on the verge of adulthood, and
- 59:23Speaker 1: he has no one else. I don't feel I can
- 59:26Speaker 1: leave him alone. Yet I can't deal with these feelings
- 59:30Speaker 1: I have towards someone else. I feel like a hypocrite,
- 59:33Speaker 1: adulteress and a home record, even though I've done I've
- 59:37Speaker 1: never done anything to encourage this man away from his family.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I don't know what to do, but the guilt and
- 59:43Speaker 1: hypocrisy are eating away at my soul. Not happy with
- 59:47Speaker 1: anything or anyone help me, Steve Dear not happy? Yeah,
- 59:54Speaker 1: you know what. You sound like a woman who's just
- 59:56Speaker 1: fed up. You've gone through a lot. You've done what
- 59:58Speaker 1: any good wife would do and beyond your marriage vows
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: say though that, uh, you know you should stay married
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: through sickness and health, and you are doing that. You're tired, though,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you're unhappy, you're depressed, you feel trapped, and this man
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: has come along when you're very, very vulnerable, and it's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: easy to fall and develop feelings for people when you're
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: in that kind of open state like that, and that's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: what happened. And now you're sprung on this other man.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: This other man has taken full advantage of you, and
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you're in a full blown affair now it sounds like
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it seems and uh that's why. Um, you know you
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: have this guilt and stuff. You feel this way. You
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: feel like a hypocrite, you feel like an adulteress and
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: a home record. Um, there's only a couple of things
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you really can do. For starters, stop seeing this guy.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You know, you gotta stop seeing him because you're still married. Okay,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you could stop seeing him and try to work it
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: out with your husband. You know, you didn't say that
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you didn't love him. You just said you're sick and
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: tired of him, you know. Or you can leave your husband.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You can leave him. I mean, those are really your
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: only options, Steve. That's after. She has a real problem,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: she really really, I'll get into it when we come back.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: She has a real, real problem. I'm not sure I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: don't have it yet exactly what to say to her.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I think you're correct in your answer. Thh, Shirley. Really,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I think you're very correct. I think she's guilt ridden,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: though in two ways, and so I'll get into it
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: best I can. It's just my opinion, just like these
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: are just Sherley's opinions. All we have time, No, we
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: won't have time, of course, we won't become, of course,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: would be just a show. The letter is posted by
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the way, so if you want to check it out,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: if you want to comment or send us an email,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you can go to Steve Harvey dot com, click on
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Strawberry letter and get to type in that's it. Twelve
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: minutes after we'll be back with Steve's response. Right after this.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show just you reem under in twenty minutes.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: In twenty minutes, you don't want to miss its. Sister
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Odell will be in the building, my girl. But come on, Steve,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: come on, let's get to it. Part two of your
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: response to today's Here we go, Uh subject trapped in
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the marriage? Help me, Steve? Well, Steve can't help you,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: God can. I can tell you that in this letter
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: because you're in quite a position. Steve really can't help you.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: God can really. I think Shirley's advice solidly is you
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: have to leave this man alone. But on the other hand,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: do I sympathize with what you're saying? Yeah, and all
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: the other women who can sympathize with you what you're saying,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: I'm sure they are. And then they are married women
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: who are going get your hands off my man whilere
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you over there with this man's with this other woman's husband.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: It's gonna go both ways. Um the over there with
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the other husband. You know that's out of line. I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: don't have to explain that to you. That's morally not
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: the correct way to go about life. And sure you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: know that you're an adult. That's why you have these
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: confused feelings. But on the other hand, lady, I kind
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: of sympathize with you because you have sacrificed yourself for
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: twenty plus years. You stayed in the manage that you
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: really didn't want to stay in. You never work compatible
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: with him. You sacrifice yourself with him, his parents. Now
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: he's sick. Now, he ain't worked in ten years. I
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: don't wear his paper coming from So you might be
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: supporting the whole show, and he's just sitting over there
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and might still be talking to you crazy, and you're
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: taking care of him and everything about him, and he
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: kind of talking to you crazy. Y'all ain't compatible. Most
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: people that ain't compatible talk to each other crazy, because
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: when you ain't happy with the person, you're gonna talk
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: crazy when you see him. Now, the sight of your
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: husband turning your stomach. That's gonna be hard to do
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: the rest of your life. Look over there and somebody
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: turning your stomare. And now he's sick. Now I don't
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: know what illness he got, but he ain't worked in
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: ten years and it ain't gonna ever work again. But
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: is he's sitting over there complaining. Say, man, that's gonna
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: be tough for you to stay in that situation. Now,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: what you could do is divorce. You could do that,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and people say, well, Steve, the Bible says, and deviles say,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: through sickness and in health, yeah, do. But people get
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: divorced all the time, and they people leave for lesser reasons.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Somebody was cheating on somebody, somebody, financial problems came up.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: They just ain't compatible. What are people leave for all
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the reasons? Well, now that he's sick, you feel guilty
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: and you don't think you could leave. But here's the
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: real problem. You met a man not intentionally, not with
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: any forethought. He was just there and was always there
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: when you needed a shoulder. The crown or token attention
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: problem is he married, and although he's been very supportive,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: you say in the letter, I doubt that he has
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: any romantic inclinations towards me anyway. Okay, lady, come on, now,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: come on now, let's get this back into reality. He
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: got something towards you, and you got something towards him.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Let's be grown now, you know, I mean, what is
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it he'd asked for you? You attracted to the man.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: A matter of fact, you're developing feelings for the man.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: So you've grown. Ain't nowhere else to go. I don't
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: know how sick homeboy is at your house, but is
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: he's so sick that he ain't bringing no heat. He
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: ain't frying no bacon at the house. You're gonna have
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: to get your bacon fry. Maybe he came from Well,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you ain't, Like I said, you got to be able
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: sisily to some at leash woman or something gotta happened
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to the bacon. You gotta at least take it out
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the slab and lay it out there, get some fire
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: on it or something. But you can't eat the bacon raw.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Ain't nobody can eat raw bacon. You got to get
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: this bacon cooked. Now you might not be getting your
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: bacon cook. And if he do, try to cook your bacon.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: The sight of him makes you sick to your stomach.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: So the bacon process ain't even good baking when you
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: get it, y'all just over there now. So now I
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: sympathize with you where you got to do something? Now
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you have found this romance now a dude married? Now,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: can I tell you that this ain't going to go nowhere?
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Can you not find another dude that ain't married to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: develop these feelings? Fault because you're the married dude ain't
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: going nowhere? Then you says you don't. Uh, You've done
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: nothing to keep him away? Yea, to encourage him, And
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I feel like a hypocrite adulteress and a home record,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: even though I've never done anything to encourage this man
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: away from his family. Oh yes, you have you needing
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: him him. Knowing you need him is to draw card
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: away from the family. All right, thank you, Steve. You
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: know we gotta get out of here. Let's introduce that
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: girl from the talk, Sheryl Underwood, Steve, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Here she is Sheryl Underwood, Steve Harvey. I love that
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: you're being dignified right now. I love you, brother. I'm
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: shouting out to talk right now because Eve, it's now
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: a yeah, she not, guess holds no fault. That's that's cool?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Is you know the rapper writer on the tower? Really
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I didn't know that. Well. Isn't that the coolest? Just
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: like that's a good move. Huh Yeah, I like her
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to thinking of moving. Now was she in the United States?
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Wasn't she out of the country with? Now? You know what?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: She got that millionaire husband. That's the thing. Now, you know,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you get the million millionaire husband or a dude from
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: another country like a Nestos. Isn't he Domindican? What? Thank you?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Steve don't because you ain't gonna take Esto from Shirley don't.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: But she got the millionaire husband they live. If you
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: could get who would you marry that's outside the country? Mey, whoa?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I can't name him? He already know and he sent
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: me some flower state sent me a mortgage payment of flowers. Listen,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: and he ain't blank. I'm just gonna tell you straight.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Don't get mad at me. Black people I go with
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: who asked me listen? Like, yeah, I gave it up

- 1:08:23Speaker 1: the truth. Now, you look. Listen now, A lot of
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: people don't seem to know when I'm in the bar.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Black lives matter. After you sober up, You
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: ain't got nothing fun me, what's happen? Huh stop? I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: just telling the truth. And you know I date a
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: lot of white men and something people. Why are you
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: day white men? Some white men do anything? Please let
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: me tell you. I went the white dude. He said,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: what can I do to make you happy? I said,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: pay off my student loans. That's what boy, that affects
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: your credit. Tommy, I don't got all that cap of

- 1:12:28Speaker 1: that seventy two inch TV for eight dollars. I'd be
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: the first one in life for that. I get one
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: every yearn do that on a walk and everything. I
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: just wanted the people with the vest on that I
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: boss through the door. I grabbed somebody with a vest

- 1:14:07Speaker 1: kids a toy. Oh day, all right. I gave a
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: little Nathaniel. I gave him a block last year with
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: an a on it. This year he gets to be

- 1:14:24Speaker 1: They not know old stockings you wore water. I mean
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: they just regularly exactly. I take all my old panted
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: holes and days and reads. Wait a minute, talking about
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Christmas stockings that you hang on the mantel, the fireplace mantel.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I saved money. I cut mine off and hang them on.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I pushed stuff in it. How did you know that?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: COMMI I I gave my my bedfriend Agnes. I gave
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: her fruitcake in one of my stock stop. I didn't.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I didn't give it a part for the new I
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: had to put a fruitcake in the top hand. There's

- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Thank you, baby, that's in your ash. Stupid Tommy that's
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: for you, all right, sister Aldana, do you watch The
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta? I showed do okay good, so
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: you'll know what I'm talking about. So Kenya, she told
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Cynthia about her husband Mark. She just talked about him
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: and said he was from the corporate world and that
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: he was a former Wall Street banker and now he's
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: a successful entrepreneur and that they met at a restaurant
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: opening in Brooklyn. Because you gotta remember, Sister Rodell, the
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: crew they have not seen as of episode two, these
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: the cast members. They have not met Kenya's husband yet.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: He lives in New York and she's living in Atlanta. Right.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: I ought to keep a dead way too. Why do
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you think you think that's gonna works? Mago, better keep
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: your man in there, y'all, can you well? Sister Odell.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Kenya had a total breakdown while filming the show. She
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: cried to one of the producers, admitting that she was
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: stressed out about all the rumors, you know, all of
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the stuff on social media. Folks were claiming that she
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: got married for attention, you know, to keep a storyline
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: going and to secure her job on the show. And
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Kenya said that her husband Mark is very private, and
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: that she doesn't want him to, you know, be a
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: part of all this drama that comes with, you know,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: being with a reality star. I think she just really
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: wanted to protect him. And then she even said, I
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: don't want to get a divorce already, That's what she said.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: And you could hear her breaking down behind the closed doors.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: And you know you felt bad for, you felt bad

- 1:25:50Speaker 1: night at Grig Calhoun house sometimes when I'm down there
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: playing golf, I won't stay at the hotel in Montom,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: I stay at my boy's house. That's the only person house.

- 1:26:34Speaker 1: down there and have my driver picked me up in
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: my car. But I'm not getting in time with car.

- 1:32:26Speaker 1: Bernita took a skillet and hit the man dad in
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: his head. She was sick of it. She hit him
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: in his head with the skillet. Fortunately the man didn't

- 1:33:31Speaker 1: you doing. You got all thrown at you. We're just
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: living my life, you know, the young dude. I remember
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: that raw chicken though. Yeah, I'm just making promises. I
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: couldn't keep you know, stuff like this with lying lying,

- 1:34:02Speaker 1: I don't know how to open wide. But let me ask.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: Did she cook it afterwards? Oh? Yeah, I don't know. Hell,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: I had to get out that house. I don't know
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: what the hell she did with that, but I know
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: some of us got on my mouth though I might
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: have had something of Nella. I was in the kitchen
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: and she just hold didn't throw it, kept it on

- 1:35:32Speaker 1: that risk action, strong plate. Oh yeah, yeah, a glass,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: a book, yeah, oh, a shoe though, a shoe, shoe,
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: that's the that's the god growing item. Anyway. You just
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: take it off and throw it. It would be your
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: good shoes or your old shoes, whatever shoes. You're mad.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: You don't care. When you're in the moment, it doesn't matter.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: You do know that he can put somebody out, you know, hoping,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: hoping about that before you did what you did. I

- 1:36:14Speaker 1: I was hoping? I wanted it to do that. Yeah,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: but that was you know, Carl, what's what's my favorite
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: word that you say? That was alleged? You can't you
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: can't in the court of law. You can't prove that
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: in the court of law. I like that, boy, Sessions,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: I don't. I don't recall they grilled him, didn't they. Yeah,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: your asks really don't need to be in office because
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: you can't remember a damn thing about Russia. Though. I
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: don't recall I've been called that. Yeah, I don't, but
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: I don't recall answering to that he didn't know nothing. Yeah,
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: they grilled them. Yeah. I like when one of and
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: said yes or no answer, he boy that he gave

- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Lord Lord, Lord, Lord, prob What about the fallout with
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Roy more More in Alabama. Yeah, that's a that's a
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: big thing. The Republicans are calling for him to get
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: out of the race, now, won't he's defiant defiance. Did
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: you hear that? Um? I think it was one of
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: the malls down there. Someone said that he had been
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: banned from the mall or in the back in the
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: eighties for approaching young girls. Yes, you know what, I
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: do think that this guy is guilty, I really do.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: And I know in this country, man is innocent to
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: prove and guilty. But it's too many people coming out.
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: And now a guy that I saw on the news
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: the other night that was saying that he remembers working
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: at the mall and he was banned from coming into
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: the mall to least told him, and he said, well,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: it wasn't for women. He said, well, I don't know,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: but he was banned. Police just told me if I
