Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / My Guest Ted Cruz Unloads On Biden Agenda with new Book
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: So this is going to be really fun for me.
- 0:02Speaker 1: As many of you know, Senator Ted Cruz and I
- 0:05Speaker 1: do a podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz three days a week.
- 0:08Speaker 1: But he is my guest on my podcast, The Ben
- 0:11Speaker 1: Ferguson Podcasts about his new book that is out. It
- 0:15Speaker 1: is a book, Unwoke, that is about what is destroying
- 0:19Speaker 1: this country and he calls out the Biden administration on
- 0:22Speaker 1: border security, he calls out the left on what they're
- 0:25Speaker 1: doing on college campuses. He talks about what happened with
- 0:28Speaker 1: COVID and the lockdowns. It's an amazing book and so
- 0:33Speaker 1: it's a pleasure to have senter Ted Cruz as my guest,
- 0:36Speaker 1: my co host on my podcast right now. Senator, it's
- 0:40Speaker 1: a pleasure to have you on live on this show.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You are on book promo tour in New York City
- 0:46Speaker 1: this morning. You are on a Levin Life Liberty and Levin,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and we love having you obviously to talk about this book.
- 0:53Speaker 1: For people that are looking for a great Christmas gift,
- 0:56Speaker 1: grab the book if you just want to read a
- 0:59Speaker 1: book book.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And I love how they describe it online.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It says Ted Cruz delivers a realistic battle plan for
- 1:06Speaker 1: defeating the woke assault on America. That's what inspired you
- 1:11Speaker 1: to write this book is really a battle plan of Okay,
- 1:14Speaker 1: the left has gone crazy. We have many that are
- 1:17Speaker 1: taking over not just government agencies, but our universities are schools.
- 1:21Speaker 1: They're trying to go into Marxism and socialism. How do
- 1:25Speaker 1: we get back from the brink of that? And that's
- 1:28Speaker 1: what inspired you to write a book that's three hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: and eighty three pages long. It is a thick book,
- 1:33Speaker 1: one of the thickest ones you've ever written.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Well, Ben, that's right, good morning. It's great to be
- 1:38Speaker 3: with you. It's great to be with you in a
- 1:40Speaker 3: venue other than a verdict, which which you and I
- 1:43Speaker 3: do three days a week, and we both we both
- 1:47Speaker 3: have these conversations a lot. Look the book on Woke,
- 1:51Speaker 3: I wrote because the world has gone insane, and every
- 1:55Speaker 3: one of us knows that we're watching the radical extremes,
- 1:59Speaker 3: the extreme left that has seized every major institution in America.
- 2:05Speaker 3: And so I wrote this book to do a couple
- 2:07Speaker 3: of things. Number One, to explain how and why that happened.
- 2:10Speaker 3: What on earth? Who would have envisioned a world where
- 2:13Speaker 3: corporate America, big business becomes the economic enforcer for the
- 2:18Speaker 3: hard left, where big tech censors what you do say online,
- 2:22Speaker 3: Where where NFL players refuse to stand for the national anthem,
- 2:26Speaker 3: where they teach five and six year olds in schools
- 2:30Speaker 3: that that little boys can become girls and little girls
- 2:32Speaker 3: can become boys. This is extreme, and it's not an act.
- 2:38Speaker 3: How it happens. And then number two, it lays out
- 2:41Speaker 3: a battle plan for how we fight back, how we
- 2:44Speaker 3: defeat the cultural Marxism in America, and and it lays
- 2:49Speaker 3: out specific concrete steps we can take to take our
- 2:53Speaker 3: country back, because if we don't do it, we're gonna
- 2:55Speaker 3: lose our nation. And we've got to pull it back.
- 2:59Speaker 1: From the extreme you mentioned taking our country back and
- 3:03Speaker 1: pulling us back. There was some very encouraging poll numbers
- 3:07Speaker 1: that came out this morning, and I want to get
- 3:09Speaker 1: your reaction this because it's obviously great news. If you're
- 3:11Speaker 1: a conservative, your favorite Capitol Hill reporter, I save this
- 3:16Speaker 1: just for you. Senator Manny Raju had this bleak report
- 3:22Speaker 1: this morning about how bad the new poll numbers are
- 3:25Speaker 1: for Democrats, specifically Joe Biden listened.
- 3:28Speaker 4: One year from today, America will be going to the
- 3:29Speaker 4: polls to choose a President, and there are alarm bells
- 3:32Speaker 4: going off inside the White House this morning. There are
- 3:35Speaker 4: three big polls out about the race for the White House,
- 3:38Speaker 4: and none of it is good for Joe Biden. Race
- 3:40Speaker 4: for president is decided state by state, not nationally, so
- 3:44Speaker 4: this morning we want to focus on a series of
- 3:46Speaker 4: battleground state polls for The New York Times. In Nevada,
- 3:49Speaker 4: Trump leaves by ten, leads by six in Georgia, five
- 3:53Speaker 4: in Arizona, five in Michigan, and four in Pennsylvania. Biden
- 3:58Speaker 4: has just a narrow two point in Wisconsin. Now, Biden
- 4:02Speaker 4: won all six of those states in twenty twenty and
- 4:04Speaker 4: likely needs to win at least four of them to
- 4:06Speaker 4: be re elected. And if you dig a little deeper
- 4:08Speaker 4: into the poll, things look even bleaker. Voters in these
- 4:12Speaker 4: six states save Biden's policies have hurt them personally, and
- 4:15Speaker 4: those numbers are flipped when you ask about Trump. Most
- 4:18Speaker 4: Saint Trump's policies have helped them personally. And then there
- 4:22Speaker 4: are huge cracks in the coalition that won Biden the
- 4:24Speaker 4: White House in twenty twenty. Yes, he's leading among those demographics,
- 4:28Speaker 4: but not by nearly as much as he needs to
- 4:31Speaker 4: be he's ahead of Trump among young voters in these
- 4:33Speaker 4: battleground states by one point. Trump wins twenty two percent
- 4:37Speaker 4: of black voters, which would be a historically huge measure
- 4:40Speaker 4: for a Republican, and the margins are small for Biden
- 4:43Speaker 4: among Hispanics and suburban voters.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Now, sentater, you hear that, and it's just like rapture
- 4:49Speaker 1: alert number one, Manu Raju actually giving you poll numbers
- 4:52Speaker 1: telling you alarm bells are going off inside the White
- 4:54Speaker 1: House this morning. One year way, this is I think
- 4:58Speaker 1: massive numbers, not just for for Trump, but for conservative ideas, saying,
- 5:04Speaker 1: all right, we went to this socialism and that's what
- 5:06Speaker 1: the Biden administration has been doing, and we went to
- 5:09Speaker 1: this extreme woke agenda and now it's turning American families.
- 5:13Speaker 1: These numbers are spelled horrific news for Democrats.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Well, look, that's exactly right. I have several thoughts. Number one,
- 5:21Speaker 3: it's kind of amusing listening to see an inn put
- 5:23Speaker 3: against reporter on air where he's practically crying he's so
- 5:27Speaker 3: unhappy with those poll numbers because it is bad news. Listen,
- 5:30Speaker 3: the Biden agenda is a train wreck. It is a mess.
- 5:34Speaker 3: That the classic question for any election is are you
- 5:38Speaker 3: better off than you were four years ago? And for
- 5:40Speaker 3: almost any voter in the United Statess, the answer is
- 5:43Speaker 3: hell no, Like for everyone between inflation and crime and
- 5:47Speaker 3: chaos at our southern border, not to mention two wars
- 5:51Speaker 3: across the globe at America at greater jeopardy than we've
- 5:54Speaker 3: ever seen in our lifetimes, the answer unless you are
- 5:59Speaker 3: a an international drug dealer or human trafficker, in which
- 6:03Speaker 3: case the answer is yes, your life is much better
- 6:05Speaker 3: today than it was four years ago, and you ought
- 6:07Speaker 3: to vote for Joe Biden. You're not a citizen, but
- 6:09Speaker 3: who cares. He wants illegals to vote, so that's fine.
- 6:12Speaker 3: But unless you're a drug cartel, the answer for everyone
- 6:16Speaker 3: else is no. Everything else has gotten crappier. And so
- 6:19Speaker 3: I think those poll numbers show that the Biden record
- 6:22Speaker 3: is a train wreck and people want to get back
- 6:25Speaker 3: to common sense policies that work. I also think those
- 6:29Speaker 3: poll numbers are sending off alarm bells. We saw David
- 6:32Speaker 3: Axelrod Barack Obama's right hand publicly urging Biden to drop
- 6:37Speaker 3: out of the race. I think Dems are panicking, and Ben,
- 6:40Speaker 3: you and I broke the news three months ago on
- 6:43Speaker 3: an episode of our podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz that
- 6:47Speaker 3: the odds keep rising every day that the Democrats will
- 6:52Speaker 3: jettison Joe Biden and try to parachute in Michelle Obama
- 6:56Speaker 3: at the last minute. And I got to say, with
- 6:57Speaker 3: these poll numbers and an axl Rod coming out public,
- 7:02Speaker 3: those odds continue to rise every day.
- 7:04Speaker 1: All right, let's dive into that, because this is I
- 7:07Speaker 1: think part of what you talk about in your book
- 7:10Speaker 1: is the Democratic Party has gotten so extreme. They're coming
- 7:13Speaker 1: after parents, They're coming after your kids at universities and
- 7:17Speaker 1: public schools. They tried to push this transgenderism down our
- 7:20Speaker 1: throats and say, if you don't agree with it, we'll
- 7:22Speaker 1: try to ruin your business, ruin your family, ruin any
- 7:26Speaker 1: you know, school, or anybody that disagrees with us, We'll
- 7:29Speaker 1: try to kick you out of office. You've got Hollywood
- 7:32Speaker 1: that's all in on this. And then you go back
- 7:36Speaker 1: to what you just mentioned. This is a moment where
- 7:41Speaker 1: Democrats do you think they believe maybe they went too
- 7:45Speaker 1: far and they got a dial it back and they've
- 7:47Speaker 1: lost the country because they put all this and implement
- 7:49Speaker 1: it and now it's such a disaster on the average
- 7:52Speaker 1: American family. And if they do parachute in Michelle Obama,
- 7:56Speaker 1: to be clear, she's just as bad, if not worse,
- 7:59Speaker 1: than Joe Biden. She's a woke person. She's a Marxist
- 8:03Speaker 1: as socialist. However you want to describe her with policies,
- 8:06Speaker 1: that's what Obama is as well. But if they parachute
- 8:10Speaker 1: her in, it's about likability, right, She'll come out as
- 8:13Speaker 1: a mom, She'll say she once this for the country,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and they parachute her into the convention and she doesn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: even have to talk policies. It's just likability, like hey
- 8:23Speaker 1: do you like Oprah? Do you not like Oprah? It's like,
- 8:25Speaker 1: hey do you like miche Obama? Do you not like
- 8:26Speaker 1: Michelle Obamba? And then it's only what three month campaign?
- 8:30Speaker 1: It would be a scary yet brilliant move.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It would be a very scary move. And listen, to
- 8:37Speaker 3: be clear, you know you asked our Dems getting nervous
- 8:41Speaker 3: they've gone too far left. I got to say, as
- 8:43Speaker 3: they are, I see no evidence of it. The Democrats
- 8:46Speaker 3: I serve with in the Senate, they're still much more
- 8:50Speaker 3: afraid of being primary from the left than they are
- 8:53Speaker 3: of losing the general election, and it's because the media
- 8:56Speaker 3: has been corrupted. So this book Unwoke What exams how
- 9:00Speaker 3: this happened. And it starts with the universities, because Marxists
- 9:05Speaker 3: always start by going after our kids. The first chapter
- 9:08Speaker 3: in the book is entitled Universities the Wuhan Lab, the
- 9:14Speaker 3: Wuhan Lab of the woke virus. And that is because
- 9:18Speaker 3: universities are where the woke virus was created. It's where
- 9:21Speaker 3: it mutated, it's where it spread. And the cultural Marxists,
- 9:25Speaker 3: beginning in the sixties and seventies, began seizing the universities
- 9:29Speaker 3: and raising up these campus radicals. But from there it
- 9:33Speaker 3: spread to every other institution. So each chapter of the
- 9:36Speaker 3: book focuses on a different American institution that the cultural
- 9:40Speaker 3: Marxists have seen. So it goes from the universities to
- 9:43Speaker 3: K through twelve education, to journalism to big business, to
- 9:48Speaker 3: big tech, to entertainment including movies and TV and music
- 9:53Speaker 3: and sports, to science. Every one of these one after
- 9:58Speaker 3: the other after the other. The cultural Marxist succeeds. And
- 10:01Speaker 3: and so you ask, are the Democrats worried they've gone
- 10:03Speaker 3: too far left? I don't think they are, because journalism
- 10:07Speaker 3: has been corrupted, So CNN no longer views its role
- 10:11Speaker 3: as being an actual journalist, as reporting on both sides.
- 10:15Speaker 3: They are instead explicitly propaganda's. They are provda. They are
- 10:20Speaker 3: advocating a view which is the left wing of the
- 10:22Speaker 3: Democrat Party. And and so Democrats are incentivized to go
- 10:28Speaker 3: hard left because they will never be called out out
- 10:31Speaker 3: by the corporate media for doing it. And and so
- 10:35Speaker 3: what this book lays out our strategies to fight back,
- 10:38Speaker 3: how we can turn it around.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about this election coming up. What do
- 10:46Speaker 1: you think the top issue is going to be for
- 10:47Speaker 1: the average American nationwide or the top two? Is it
- 10:52Speaker 1: going to be the economy stupid? Is it going to
- 10:54Speaker 1: be this this agenda that in the in the extreme
- 10:57Speaker 1: of the socialism or is it going to be like, hey,
- 11:00Speaker 1: cognitive decline of Joe Biden.
- 11:03Speaker 3: So, look, we're a year out, and so it's always
- 11:06Speaker 3: hard to predict with certainty where things will be in
- 11:08Speaker 3: a year because there will be events in the world
- 11:10Speaker 3: that we can't predict right now. But the question in
- 11:14Speaker 3: every election is are you better off now than you
- 11:17Speaker 3: were four years ago? And perennially the top issue there
- 11:20Speaker 3: is the economy, and inflation out of control, the cost
- 11:23Speaker 3: of living. People are hurting hard. It's more expensive to
- 11:27Speaker 3: put food on your table. It's more expensive to run
- 11:29Speaker 3: the air conditioning and heat. It's much more expensive to
- 11:32Speaker 3: fill your car truck with gas. That is impacting people
- 11:36Speaker 3: in a very real sense. There's also safety and security.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Crime is skyrocketed. Everywhere. People feel unsafe. They feel unsafe
- 11:43Speaker 3: for their kids. Their kids are under assault. The chaos
- 11:47Speaker 3: of illegal immigration has become real and personal. Eight million
- 11:51Speaker 3: people crossing illegally into this country. They're now flooding every city.
- 11:54Speaker 3: When you've got the Democrat Mayor of New York saying
- 11:57Speaker 3: illegal immigration is destroying New York City, you know it
- 12:01Speaker 3: has gotten bad. And then on foreign policy, Look, where
- 12:05Speaker 3: foreign policy really matters is when people again don't feel
- 12:11Speaker 3: safe and secure, when they feel like their families are threatened.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Think about it. Three years ago, Joe Biden inherited peace
- 12:19Speaker 3: and prosperity. In just under three years, with Joe Biden's
- 12:25Speaker 3: weak and ineffective leadership, we now have the largest land
- 12:29Speaker 3: war in Europe since World War Two and the worst
- 12:35Speaker 3: attack on Israel in fifty years. We've got war in
- 12:37Speaker 3: the Middle East, and by the way campus radicals on
- 12:41Speaker 3: campus threatening Jewish students with violence. Anyone looking at the
- 12:46Speaker 3: world says, this is a mess. And I think all
- 12:50Speaker 3: of those are going to be major issues come November.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Let's also talk about this, what's happening in Israel. And
- 12:57Speaker 1: I want to get into this because there's been this,
- 13:01Speaker 1: I would argue woke ideology that you don't stand with Israel.
- 13:05Speaker 1: It's now become seeming a part of bigger part of
- 13:07Speaker 1: the Democratic Party.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Obviously the squad.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I never could have imagined a day that innocent people
- 13:13Speaker 1: could be butchered this way, babies beheaded, infants beheaded, put
- 13:17Speaker 1: in ovens by hamas. And yet there's a significant portion
- 13:22Speaker 1: of the Democratic Party that you serve with in Congress
- 13:26Speaker 1: that are behind them. Is that part of the unwoke agenda?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Are the woke agenda the Democratic Party that you're warning
- 13:32Speaker 1: about in the book.
- 13:34Speaker 3: It very much is, you know, you know, a couple
- 13:36Speaker 3: of weeks ago, I was sitting down with a very
- 13:38Speaker 3: successful tech entrepreneur who's historically been quite left a center,
- 13:43Speaker 3: and he was expressing enormous dismay at the extreme anti
- 13:47Speaker 3: semitism and hatred of Israel that is manifesting number one
- 13:52Speaker 3: in the Democrat Party in Congress with the squad and
- 13:54Speaker 3: the viciousness we're seeing, but number two on college campuses.
- 13:58Speaker 3: And he was saying, where do this comfort? And I
- 14:02Speaker 3: explained it, you know, really in terms of the book Unwoke.
- 14:05Speaker 3: You know, it describes so Marxism, which derives obviously from
- 14:10Speaker 3: the teachings of Karl Marx. He frames the world in
- 14:15Speaker 3: terms of an inevitable conflict, and Marx broke it down
- 14:19Speaker 3: on socioeconomic terms. It's a conflict between the oppressors and
- 14:22Speaker 3: the victims. The oppressors, in Marx's worldview are the owners
- 14:26Speaker 3: of capital and the victims of the proletariat, the workers.
- 14:29Speaker 3: And Marxist solution is a violent overthrow, a revolution of
- 14:35Speaker 3: the proletariat, the workers, seizing the capital and the means
- 14:40Speaker 3: of production, and relying on government to take it forcibly
- 14:44Speaker 3: from from the oppressors and give it to the victims.
- 14:47Speaker 3: That's plain vanilla Marxism. That's who who burrowed into college
- 14:53Speaker 3: campuses starting in the sixties and seventies. What the cultural
- 14:56Speaker 3: Marxist have done is taken that Marxist worldview and they've
- 15:00Speaker 3: applied it to cultures so everything is an inevitable battle
- 15:04Speaker 3: between oppressors and victims. And their solution to everything is
- 15:09Speaker 3: force is if you do not comply, they will make
- 15:12Speaker 3: you comply. They will attack and undermine the oppressors and
- 15:17Speaker 3: forcibly benefit the victims. And I explain. Look, the reason
- 15:21Speaker 3: the left is so viciously anti Semitic is in the
- 15:25Speaker 3: cultural Marxist worldview, Jews are coded as oppressors. When these
- 15:31Speaker 3: Marxists look at Israel, they see the Israelis as oppressors
- 15:36Speaker 3: and the Palestinians are coded as victims. And once you
- 15:40Speaker 3: start with that worldview, the only acceptable leftist perspective is
- 15:46Speaker 3: that you should have a violent revolution of the victims,
- 15:49Speaker 3: the Palestinians against the oppressors and forcibly take from the
- 15:53Speaker 3: oppressors and redistribute to the victims. And that's why so
- 15:57Speaker 3: many on the left are not condemning the horrific attacks
- 16:02Speaker 3: and atrocities from Hamas because they're cheering them on. Look.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Rashida Talib, a member of Congress member of the Squad,
- 16:10Speaker 3: tweeted out the racist slogan of Amas from the river
- 16:15Speaker 3: to the sea. Now what that means is from the
- 16:17Speaker 3: Jordan River all the way to the sea. It means
- 16:19Speaker 3: annihilate all of Israel, kill every Jew. It is a
- 16:24Speaker 3: call to genocide. And that's what an elected, current sitting
- 16:28Speaker 3: Democrat member of Congress is saying to the world.
- 16:32Speaker 1: All right, let me tell you real quick about an
- 16:34Speaker 1: amazing company called Patriot Mobile. For ten years, they have
- 16:38Speaker 1: been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I
- 16:42Speaker 1: say only trust me, they're the only one. Glenn and
- 16:45Speaker 1: the team have been great supporters of this show, which
- 16:48Speaker 1: is why I'm proud to partner with Patriot Mobile. They

- 16:55Speaker 1: access all three major networks, which means you get the
- 16:58Speaker 1: same coverage you've been a them too, without funding the
- 17:02Speaker 1: leftist agenda. When you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending
- 17:05Speaker 1: the message that you support free speech, religious freedom, sancty

- 17:32Speaker 1: all that as well. All you need to do is

- 17:54Speaker 1: them with every phone call patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson
- 17:58Speaker 1: or nine seven to Patriot. Senator, you were just at
- 18:03Speaker 1: the southern border. And I think one of the most
- 18:08Speaker 1: horrific consequences of this woke ideology is the kumbaiism, which is, oh,
- 18:15Speaker 1: we don't really need to have border security. That's somehow inhumane.
- 18:20Speaker 1: We don't really need to have laws when it comes
- 18:23Speaker 1: to legal immigration, because you know, who are we to
- 18:26Speaker 1: decide that we should have a secure border or who
- 18:29Speaker 1: should or shouldn't come into this country and we should
- 18:31Speaker 1: just be loving and open and welcoming. We're a sanctuary city.
- 18:35Speaker 1: We love every illegal immigrant. Come to New York City,
- 18:38Speaker 1: come to San Francisco, come to La You had people
- 18:41Speaker 1: campaigning just a couple of years ago, including New York
- 18:45Speaker 1: Mayor Adams on this and saying come to our cities
- 18:48Speaker 1: and we will love you and accept you. In this
- 18:50Speaker 1: woke kumbaiism, it's not just a disaster on our economy.
- 18:55Speaker 1: It's a disaster now from a national security standpoint.
- 18:58Speaker 2: And you witnessed.
- 18:59Speaker 1: The atrocities that are happening because of this woke agenda.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. I was down on our southern
- 19:07Speaker 3: border two weeks ago and I went out on midnight
- 19:09Speaker 3: patrol with the border patrol agents, and within minutes you
- 19:13Speaker 3: encounter groups of illegal aliens. We encountered one group that
- 19:16Speaker 3: had about twenty or twenty five, mostly women and children.
- 19:19Speaker 3: It had young teenagers, it had me. There was a
- 19:21Speaker 3: thirteen year old girl who was unaccompanied. She had no
- 19:24Speaker 3: family members with her. There was a fifteen year old
- 19:26Speaker 3: boy who was unaccompanied. There was a sixteen year old
- 19:28Speaker 3: girl who was unaccompanied. They all said they were coming
- 19:32Speaker 3: to America to meet their too, and Teo is of
- 19:36Speaker 3: course Spanish for uncle. And yet when you question them
- 19:40Speaker 3: about their TEO, they're like, oh, no, no, no, my to
- 19:42Speaker 3: doesn't know I'm coming. They just had a phone number,
- 19:44Speaker 3: and tragically, the more we talked to them and the
- 19:47Speaker 3: more it became clear that these uncles were made up
- 19:50Speaker 3: and that these kids, these kids are being trafficked. And
- 19:53Speaker 3: I got to say it was particularly horrific. There was
- 19:56Speaker 3: a ten year old girl with an adult man who
- 20:00Speaker 3: said he was her father, and she said he was
- 20:02Speaker 3: her father, and it was obvious he was not her father.
- 20:05Speaker 3: She was terrified. The look of terror in her face
- 20:09Speaker 3: was haunting. And he had his arm around her, but
- 20:12Speaker 3: not in a gentle caress like a father, but firmly
- 20:16Speaker 3: holding her right where she was so she couldn't move.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And this is a pattern we're saying a lot. You know,
- 20:21Speaker 3: under the Trump administration, when an adult man would show
- 20:25Speaker 3: up with a child and can't claim to be the
- 20:26Speaker 3: father of the child, they would DNA test them both
- 20:29Speaker 3: and they found about thirty percent of them were not
- 20:32Speaker 3: related at all. And because the policies favor of family
- 20:36Speaker 3: coming in, the cartels literally rent children to adult men
- 20:41Speaker 3: who want to come ilegally into this country because they
- 20:43Speaker 3: had processed faster. Well. One of the very first things
- 20:46Speaker 3: Joe Biden did when he came in is stopped the
- 20:49Speaker 3: DNA testing and give me any reasonable, irrational justification for
- 20:53Speaker 3: stopping the testing, and what was sick that little girl.
- 20:56Speaker 3: All of these kids very likely had been abused in
- 20:59Speaker 3: the travel to the United States when they were being
- 21:03Speaker 3: trafficked by human traffickers and vicious drug cartels. But many
- 21:09Speaker 3: of these kids were headed for a life where they
- 21:12Speaker 3: can we're going to get continue to be in sex slavery.
- 21:15Speaker 3: And I got to say the border patrol is frustrated
- 21:18Speaker 3: because the Biden administration won't let them do anything about it.
- 21:20Speaker 3: They're required to just pross them, process them, and let
- 21:23Speaker 3: them go. And the numbers are now utterly indefensible. And
- 21:28Speaker 3: I got to tell you the radical left does not care.
- 21:31Speaker 1: You also talk about not just this idea that they
- 21:36Speaker 1: want an open border, but they want to fundamentally change
- 21:39Speaker 1: this country through illegal immigration. And yes, Joe Biden refuses
- 21:44Speaker 1: to really go down there look at the border. Democrats
- 21:47Speaker 1: refuse to go down there because I think if they
- 21:50Speaker 1: saw it, there has to be a moment there where
- 21:52Speaker 1: you say, Okay, this policy is wrong. It's being exploited.
- 21:55Speaker 1: They're making money off of human trafficking. And talk about
- 21:59Speaker 1: the wristbands and what you see and the trees where
- 22:02Speaker 1: they literally like prizes. They throw the underwear of young
- 22:04Speaker 1: girls up in these trees just to taunt the US
- 22:07Speaker 1: border patrol.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Look, those are both realities. If you go down to
- 22:12Speaker 3: the southern border, you see colored wristbands just laying in
- 22:17Speaker 3: the grass by the river. Because virtually every illegal alien
- 22:20Speaker 3: comes into this country. Where's one of those colored wristbands.
- 22:23Speaker 3: The color corresponds to how many thousands of dollars they
- 22:26Speaker 3: owe the cartels, because it is big business trafficking human beings,
- 22:30Speaker 3: and these cartels have become massively wealthy as a result
- 22:36Speaker 3: of Biden's open borders, and when they arrived, most of
- 22:41Speaker 3: the people here still owe thousands of dollars to the cartels.
- 22:44Speaker 3: And so the teenage boys get sent to every city
- 22:47Speaker 3: in America and they're working for the cartels and committing
- 22:49Speaker 3: crimes in your city. Wherever you are. You might think
- 22:52Speaker 3: you're not in a border city, Well you are, because
- 22:55Speaker 3: the Biden administration is sending illegal immigrants to every city
- 22:58Speaker 3: in America, and the boys are often committing crimes in
- 23:02Speaker 3: those cities to pay off their debts to the cartels.
- 23:04Speaker 3: And the girls, thousands upon thousands of the girls find
- 23:07Speaker 3: themselves trapped in sex slavery, and it's a living hell.
- 23:11Speaker 3: They're putting the forced prostitution until they can pay back
- 23:15Speaker 3: what they owe, and this is often thirteen, fourteen, fifteen
- 23:18Speaker 3: year old girls. It is truly this is modern day slavery.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Then when I look at these wristbands, I see leg
- 23:25Speaker 3: irons from the days of slavery, and the Left does
- 23:29Speaker 3: not care. Look, what the book Unwoke explains is that
- 23:33Speaker 3: Mark's sister about power, and it walks through If you
- 23:36Speaker 3: look at communist countries across the world, they routinely produce
- 23:41Speaker 3: death and suffering and torture and concentration camps and misery
- 23:45Speaker 3: and poverty, and the left doesn't care. These open borders
- 23:49Speaker 3: are about Democrats flooding this country with what they view
- 23:54Speaker 3: will be future Democrat voters. And if a bunch of
- 23:56Speaker 3: children have to be sexually assaulted, if women have to
- 23:59Speaker 3: be rate, if people have to die, if one hundred
- 24:02Speaker 3: thousand people have to die of drug overdoses, to the
- 24:05Speaker 3: cultural Marxist, that's a perfectly acceptable cost, because what matters
- 24:10Speaker 3: to them is power. But the beauty of the beauty
- 24:15Speaker 3: of this book is it explains what their kryptonite is,
- 24:19Speaker 3: which is they can't defend their policies. The policies are
- 24:22Speaker 3: wildly unpopular. They rely on censorship and silence and hiding it.
- 24:27Speaker 3: It's why Joe Biden, Tamala Harris don't go to the border.
- 24:30Speaker 3: You can't defend what's happening there. They rely on control,
- 24:33Speaker 3: which means things like your show, Ben, things like our
- 24:36Speaker 3: podcast Verdict. It means things like Elon Musk buying Twitter.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Finding ways to shine a light and tell the truth
- 24:44Speaker 3: is one of the critical ways we defeat the cultural.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Marxist Final question for you, and this is something that
- 24:50Speaker 1: is near and dear to your heart, especially something in
- 24:52Speaker 1: the book on Woke How to Defeat Culture Marxism in America.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You talk about the attack on our court system by
- 24:58Speaker 1: the left and also so our Supreme Court, and have
- 25:01Speaker 1: a very significant warning about that.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Well, that's right. Look, the last wants to destroy our
- 25:08Speaker 3: Supreme Court. It's the one institution at the national level
- 25:10Speaker 3: as they don't control. They have a smear campaign against
- 25:14Speaker 3: Justice Thomas in particular. And actually, Ben, you're in my
- 25:17Speaker 3: episode of Verdict today, the brand new podcast that came
- 25:21Speaker 3: out today. We discuss the smear campaign from the Democrats
- 25:24Speaker 3: trying to destroy Justice Thomas and that fundamentally is an
- 25:28Speaker 3: assault on the Bill of Rights and our constitutional rights.
- 25:31Speaker 3: But I'll tell you something and let's send us some
- 25:34Speaker 3: good news, which is the book Unwoke. It is officially
- 25:37Speaker 3: released tomorrow and it is already on the Amazon bestseller list.
- 25:43Speaker 3: It is number one and number two and number three
- 25:47Speaker 3: for political bestseller, so it's the top three, the hardcovers
- 25:51Speaker 3: number one, the audio books number two, the kindle versions
- 25:54Speaker 3: number three, So that is encouraging. People want to know
- 25:58Speaker 3: what the hell is happening and how do we defeat it.
- 26:00Speaker 3: But overall, in terms of all books, not just politics,
- 26:04Speaker 3: we're number four. So we just beat Barbara streisand today
- 26:09Speaker 3: she's right below us.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I love that, I'll tell you.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Unfortunately, Britney Spears is still above us at number one,
- 26:16Speaker 3: and so Ben, we need to fix that. I actually
- 26:18Speaker 3: have my team going out and buying me some butcher
- 26:21Speaker 3: knives because I'm gonna start dancing with knives. We gotta
- 26:23Speaker 3: beat Brittany. And so let me just ask your listeners,

- 26:43Speaker 3: fun read. It's filled with stories. It's not some abstract
- 26:46Speaker 3: academic treatise. It is real and practical and it tells
- 26:51Speaker 3: you what's happening and how we win.
