- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back at it. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man got a radio show on
- 2:13Speaker 1: a whole lot more too, Man. God is good to me.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have no other explanation. I have no other explanation
- 2:21Speaker 1: of my existence and where I stand in this thing
- 2:24Speaker 1: called life, except if it was not for the goodness
- 2:28Speaker 1: of God Almighty, if it was not for His grace
- 2:31Speaker 1: and his mercy, There's no way I could exist the
- 2:35Speaker 1: way that I do. I would not be who I
- 2:38Speaker 1: am or where I am. I am who I am
- 2:41Speaker 1: and where I am simply because God is who he is.
- 2:47Speaker 1: If it was not for God, I would have no
- 2:50Speaker 1: testimony for you, because I would have failed every single
- 2:54Speaker 1: test plain, pure and simple. I can sit here today
- 3:00Speaker 1: until you flat out that it is purely because of
- 3:05Speaker 1: God's grace and mercy that I exist today because of
- 3:10Speaker 1: His favor. See now, He shows us favor in life
- 3:14Speaker 1: because of a combination of things I've discovered. And this
- 3:19Speaker 1: is not the whole answer to life. Um, I can
- 3:22Speaker 1: assure you as not. But this is a combination that
- 3:25Speaker 1: I've grown to understand better and better, and I wish
- 3:28Speaker 1: I had gotten it earlier in my life. But here
- 3:32Speaker 1: it is. If you take faith and you combine it
- 3:41Speaker 1: with an incredible work ethic, then God has the greatest
- 3:49Speaker 1: opportunities to show you favor one more time. If you
- 3:56Speaker 1: take faith. I said faith because in the Scripture says
- 4:02Speaker 1: you can have the faith of a mustancy, the smallest
- 4:05Speaker 1: of all sees. If you take faith and you combine
- 4:09Speaker 1: it with an incredible work ethic, it allows the most
- 4:14Speaker 1: opportunities for God to show you favor. That's the best
- 4:20Speaker 1: way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It is the combination of faith and work that produces
- 4:29Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See
- 4:34Speaker 1: a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for Him to bless So
- 4:39Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But
- 4:43Speaker 1: see if you had the faith in God that God
- 4:47Speaker 1: can do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:51Speaker 1: that God will see you through. That the God is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:57Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith in through it
- 5:01Speaker 1: all and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows
- 5:07Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See
- 5:13Speaker 1: without that what you want God to do? So you
- 5:15Speaker 1: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:25Speaker 1: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:34Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:37Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:40Speaker 1: payoff later on. See. Too many people are working for
- 5:44Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:47Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:51Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:53Speaker 1: know that is if you got to you got to
- 5:56Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
- 5:59Speaker 1: that at that is coming like that or you have
- 6:02Speaker 1: to have faith to believe that is coming. Because faith
- 6:06Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. That's
- 6:11Speaker 1: what faith is. Look, man, it's easy to believe in
- 6:15Speaker 1: something you can see. That's it ain't ain't nothing. What
- 6:19Speaker 1: what that take? You know? You're standing that Let me
- 6:23Speaker 1: give you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with with
- 6:26Speaker 1: a walk sign on it and the and the sign
- 6:28Speaker 1: flashing on the corner. Don't walk then that the signs
- 6:32Speaker 1: say walk. What do you think your chances are making
- 6:37Speaker 1: it across that street? Is well pretty good because guess
- 6:41Speaker 1: what the signs say walk. You can see the other side.
- 6:45Speaker 1: There's other people in the crosswalk walking, So guess what
- 6:48Speaker 1: you strike out blindly? It don't take a lot of
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith to get across that street. That's that's That's not
- 6:55Speaker 1: why I'm talking to you about. I'm talking about the faith,
- 6:58Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. The faith
- 7:02Speaker 1: that what I'm doing today I believe in my heart
- 7:07Speaker 1: of heart that God wouldn't bring me this far to
- 7:10Speaker 1: leave me that God is a true and living God,
- 7:13Speaker 1: that he keeps his promises, that later on. There's things
- 7:16Speaker 1: that I'm working towards right now gonna pay off later on. See,
- 7:19Speaker 1: too many people want to reward right now. They want
- 7:22Speaker 1: to go to work Friday. Get to check Saturday. You know,
- 7:26Speaker 1: we want to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Get to
- 7:28Speaker 1: check Friday. If somebody come to you and say, hey, man, uh,
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you do this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, then
- 7:36Speaker 1: you do this Saturday and come back and do this
- 7:38Speaker 1: money through Friday in the long running to pay off.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And you say, man, I ain't gonna do all that. See,
- 7:45Speaker 1: that's not the exhibition of faith. If it's the right
- 7:48Speaker 1: thing to do, if it's if it's a good thing
- 7:52Speaker 1: to do, if it's a just thing to do. See,
- 7:55Speaker 1: if it's sin in it, it ain't God. You just
- 7:59Speaker 1: cleared on up there. You can stop all the wondering.
- 8:02Speaker 1: If that's his voice talking to you, if it's the
- 8:05Speaker 1: right thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's
- 8:08Speaker 1: not God talking to you. Kill it you you you
- 8:13Speaker 1: can shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Go down there, secret venge that ain't God. Go tell
- 8:18Speaker 1: him off when you see him. That ain't God anything
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's God's sin in it is not God's voice telling
- 8:24Speaker 1: you to do it. So you can you can kill
- 8:26Speaker 1: that conversation today. That's how you know. But if you
- 8:29Speaker 1: align yourself up, man and you and what you're doing
- 8:32Speaker 1: is just and right and correct and pleasing in the
- 8:35Speaker 1: sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And see, here's here's here's here's the best way I
- 8:43Speaker 1: can tell to you. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 8:48Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal of vision for yourself,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know where you want to get to, you gotta
- 8:59Speaker 1: gotta good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 9:07Speaker 1: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
- 9:10Speaker 1: is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging, and
- 9:14Speaker 1: it is going to become challenging, when it becomes all
- 9:18Speaker 1: three of those things. When it don't look like it's
- 9:20Speaker 1: gonna happen, listen to me, don't stop and complain so much.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But see, I know he didn't bless me. But in
- 9:29Speaker 1: the middle of it, man, I felt a little heavy.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And you got to be careful when it gets hard
- 9:35Speaker 1: for you, because you're find yourself complaining and when you're
- 9:38Speaker 1: complain and see, what you can't do is you can't
- 9:41Speaker 1: complain so much that you forget that the place that
- 9:47Speaker 1: you're trying to go to, you actually on your way
- 9:50Speaker 1: there still. See, don't get caught up into complaining and
- 9:54Speaker 1: then lose sight of your blessing that's actually happened it
- 9:57Speaker 1: to you? What really, man, of all the times to
- 10:01Speaker 1: register a complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I I didn't wanta wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Ease back in, man, you in It's it's a tornado
- 10:12Speaker 1: world around you. You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You got it going and jump back in it. It
- 10:16Speaker 1: is what it is to whom much is given, much
- 10:19Speaker 1: is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught
- 10:23Speaker 1: up into complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: God got a lot for you in your life, man,
- 10:28Speaker 1: but you gotta have them. Two things y'all. You gotta
- 10:31Speaker 1: take that faith and you got to apply a crazy
- 10:35Speaker 1: work ethic to it, and that creates the most opportunities
- 10:39Speaker 1: for God to show your favor. And when God starts
- 10:42Speaker 1: showing your favor, man, all of them seeds you plant,
- 10:45Speaker 1: all of that, all of that which you've been sowing,
- 10:48Speaker 1: all of that hard work you've been put in God
- 10:51Speaker 1: to pay it off. And He'll pay it off in
- 10:53Speaker 1: ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool, you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to show, ladies and gentlemen, man, I have your attention. Please.

- 12:40Speaker 1: It's gonna be some additives on that plate, and it's
- 12:43Speaker 1: gonna be such a small amount you can you can
- 12:47Speaker 1: put it. But they everything fresh here, no preservatives and everything.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Uh oh, what is a fresh chitten? When where chidings
- 12:58Speaker 1: get fresh? Okay, anything don't smell fresh. It's damn chicken
- 13:08Speaker 1: spend in child. Ain't no. I gotta gonna talk to
- 13:11Speaker 1: these paths people because they're probably killing their friends. Don't
- 13:14Speaker 1: even know what. Let me live at the chickenings and

- 13:40Speaker 1: just chicklings. Yeah, I'm gonna go down here and see what.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna go down here and talk to these French people. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I think something. Maybe I'm gonna go down here and
- 13:49Speaker 1: check it and check it out. Because I used to
- 13:51Speaker 1: be no longer am, but I was chiding and chimp
- 13:55Speaker 1: really okay, I had to clean up. Boy, you don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: even want to take a bath. Out of here, clean
- 14:02Speaker 1: the you don't need more take bath, I'm saying, get
- 14:04Speaker 1: out of here, all right, listen, coming up. Well, we
- 14:12Speaker 1: all know that Aretha Franklin is in hospice right now.

- 14:17Speaker 1: to all of us when we come back, Steves, she
- 14:20Speaker 1: loves you, yes, yeah she didn't. She loves me, She
- 14:25Speaker 1: loves Yes, she loves she loves me. Thank you? Can

- 14:42Speaker 1: right back. You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show, bonjeur. We
- 14:48Speaker 1: are live in Paris, as we've been mentioning all week,
- 14:52Speaker 1: we're on a working vacation thanks to our beautiful boss,
- 14:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Yes, when were you doing working vacation When
- 14:59Speaker 1: we're gonna do that. As soon as y'all bout your

- 15:06Speaker 1: to pass to fish food not car it's still some
- 15:08Speaker 1: weird different come to pass to fish. Where I'm gonna
- 15:16Speaker 1: go check this Chile. You have to you have to
- 15:19Speaker 1: go see it, all right, please come back with extensive report. Well,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I was saying around the world, Um, you know, we
- 15:27Speaker 1: have to take time out to send prayers up for
- 15:29Speaker 1: Aretha Franklin's ill right now. Our family, of course is
- 15:33Speaker 1: causing is calling for prayer and calling for privacy at
- 15:36Speaker 1: this time. Aretha isn't hospice, and uh, you know, we
- 15:40Speaker 1: just wanted to spend some time reflecting. We love Aretha,
- 15:43Speaker 1: We're praying for her and just to you know, let
- 15:46Speaker 1: her know how we feel about her and how much
- 15:48Speaker 1: she's how much yeah, she's meant to us through all
- 15:52Speaker 1: these years, Steve. And yesterday you talked to Frankie darself
- 15:55Speaker 1: from Detroit and Philly radio. That was a great yes.
- 15:59Speaker 1: But you know, because the Queen is here is absolutely
- 16:06Speaker 1: I don't want to start though, I just like to
- 16:09Speaker 1: remain positive. Yeah, we got in our prayers. You never
- 16:13Speaker 1: know what can happen. That's what Miracles happen every day,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and more strong believers on this shop at hospice does
- 16:22Speaker 1: not mean it's over for you. It doesn't mean a
- 16:25Speaker 1: lot of people personally personally know people were put in
- 16:30Speaker 1: hospice and still here too, And so I'm that's what
- 16:35Speaker 1: I just try to stay there with it, you know. Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I just remember um one time when I met her.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I was working at w g C I in Chicago, Yes,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and she she gave a concert and the radio radio
- 16:47Speaker 1: station hosted the concert, and afterwards we got a chance
- 16:50Speaker 1: to go up and meet Aretha Franklin. Oh my god,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you had to walk up these stairs. You had to wait.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You tell about waiting in line here at the Gucci store,
- 17:02Speaker 1: Steve Off the Air, you talked about that, but we
- 17:04Speaker 1: I didn't care about. I didn't care how long the
- 17:06Speaker 1: line was to wait to see Aretha. And when when
- 17:10Speaker 1: when it finally came to be my turn, they opened
- 17:13Speaker 1: the door. I took a deep breath and there she
- 17:16Speaker 1: was sitting there like the queen that she is. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: it was really like meeting the queen I mean really,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I felt I did everything but Curtsey. I did everything,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I did everything but that. But she was just so
- 17:29Speaker 1: grand and so beautiful, you know, And it was just
- 17:32Speaker 1: a thrill for me to meet her. And we didn't
- 17:35Speaker 1: have camera phones back then, so I couldn't take it.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I couldn't take a pure yes, but I was just
- 17:41Speaker 1: so happy to meet her. Yes, whatnot for festival I'm hosting,
- 17:47Speaker 1: And I brought my Mamica, my mama. No Miss Aretha
- 17:49Speaker 1: Franklin gonna beat him. So I'll go ahead and say,
- 17:53Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Mr Reava Franklin, I don't see Mr
- 17:56Speaker 1: readA Franklin at all. Five minutes go by. My mom
- 17:59Speaker 1: was saying she ain't got the money yet, baby, I said, huh,
- 18:02Speaker 1: she ain't got the money yet. Don't come out there
- 18:04Speaker 1: without her money. I said, what do you think about
- 18:06Speaker 1: Mr read Frankler came out there with this gigantic purse
- 18:09Speaker 1: with her money and send it on that stood and
- 18:10Speaker 1: started singing, and I said, wow, you know the old schools,
- 18:17Speaker 1: old school artists are still that way, but they don't
- 18:21Speaker 1: come out without their So I don't wait on a
- 18:23Speaker 1: lot of shows I've seen Frankie Beverly mays do it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I was with Open for Little Milton at the Pink
- 18:29Speaker 1: Flamingo right outside of at More at More, Alabama, where
- 18:33Speaker 1: the prison that I performed with Little Milton, the Blue Show,
- 18:39Speaker 1: eight o'clock show, leven. He still ain't Three hours later,
- 18:46Speaker 1: the dude tells me, young man, we're gonna need you
- 18:50Speaker 1: to start this show. I said that, man, ain't even hell. Well,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I got to start doing something for the people, So
- 18:56Speaker 1: you're going out there and get started. I went out there, man.
- 19:01Speaker 1: The old ass people remembers only jack. One lady had
- 19:07Speaker 1: on a crystal or sequence gun. She was up walking around.
- 19:12Speaker 1: It was sequence all over the field. I don't know
- 19:16Speaker 1: what was holding the sequence on that, but it was
- 19:19Speaker 1: badly they had just put it on that. Yeah whatever, man,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I started telling jokes this dude. As soon as I
- 19:31Speaker 1: started this old man stood up said you ain't funny.
- 19:35Speaker 1: So I told him more jokes. Was nothing working. He
- 19:37Speaker 1: stood up again and said you still ain't funny, and
- 19:42Speaker 1: so I tried to go on a little bit. I
- 19:43Speaker 1: was young in my career, you know. I tried to
- 19:45Speaker 1: go again. By about five minute later, you ain't said
- 19:48Speaker 1: nothing funny. Then hood kicked in. I said, well, I'll
- 19:51Speaker 1: tell you what you're right about. That ain't going real
- 19:53Speaker 1: good for me right now. But since your ass wants
- 19:55Speaker 1: to be in the show, here we go. Let's start
- 19:58Speaker 1: talking about your drunk ass as right now. You used
- 20:01Speaker 1: to and you want to. I had them people on
- 20:05Speaker 1: the floe screen right now, and sorry, after I read
- 20:08Speaker 1: out of stuff for them, I started in on his table.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Little Milton ever show up? Oh man? Little Milton showed up,
- 20:19Speaker 1: winding on his money. Then the dude came up to me.
- 20:23Speaker 1: They was a little short with a little Milton. I
- 20:25Speaker 1: was up there for a hundred and fifty dollars. The
- 20:27Speaker 1: dude told me with the mink, he had a mint
- 20:30Speaker 1: bomber jacket on. She he was a road manager. He
- 20:35Speaker 1: had a briefcase like the dude used to be with
- 20:37Speaker 1: Eddie Neil that briefcase. He looked at me and said,
- 20:40Speaker 1: a little man, we're a little short. You're gonna have
- 20:41Speaker 1: to help us out here. I said, I got I
- 20:44Speaker 1: got help. What did that mean? A little short? So
- 20:47Speaker 1: he said, we're gonna pay you have I said, hold on,
- 20:52Speaker 1: hold up, said we had agree, man, I hadn't done
- 20:55Speaker 1: my set. I had these people dying there? He said, Man,
- 20:58Speaker 1: did you hear what I said? He said, we're gonna
- 21:01Speaker 1: be a little shout tonight. It ain't say it like
- 21:03Speaker 1: we thought we're gonna say it. He said that everybody
- 21:05Speaker 1: gonna to take a little hit. Some of the band
- 21:07Speaker 1: gonna take a hit. You don't have to help us out,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I said, bro, I ain't in the band. Holding up
- 21:13Speaker 1: his meat coat, he had a gun stuffed in the pocket.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He said, man, how long we got to talk about this?

- 23:11Speaker 1: Have you been noticing anything different about Malik? Um, like

- 23:36Speaker 1: leave her out of it. I know you see her
- 23:37Speaker 1: every day once. Are you talking about? What? What is
- 23:41Speaker 1: this glitchy glitch? What is this glitch that you want
- 23:44Speaker 1: to talk about? I'm confused. Okay, Well, actually what we're
- 23:47Speaker 1: having is it seemed like every day here lately for
- 23:51Speaker 1: the last two months, Malik has been you know, very musty.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You know, he hasn't been really sweaty, but just real musty.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You clearly have the wrong child because I give my
- 24:03Speaker 1: son a bath every night, and most Martin is before
- 24:05Speaker 1: he bays to school, I give another bath again. So yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm pretty positive you have the wrong child. No, ma'am.

- 24:35Speaker 1: I just told you and make sure that he gets
- 24:37Speaker 1: a bath every night. So that's not my child. My

- 32:45Speaker 1: like Missy Elliot. For instance. Missy Elliot said, my prayers
- 32:48Speaker 1: are with the Aretha and her family during this difficult time.

- 33:40Speaker 1: isn't that the truth? Yeah, Jacky Jamal Hill just read
- 33:46Speaker 1: the reports about Aretha Franklin. Reminds me that about the
- 33:50Speaker 1: time rere blessed the White House with my favorite song

- 34:30Speaker 1: that was the first word he said. This song says
- 34:33Speaker 1: it all at Aretha Franklin, thank you for your music

- 35:17Speaker 1: Miss I ain't trill. I feel positively celestial anyway. Good
- 35:23Speaker 1: morning everybody out there. This is a trip with the news.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Let's get to it. The defense and the financial and
- 35:28Speaker 1: tax for a trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul
- 35:30Speaker 1: Manafort has rested its case. The defense did not call
- 35:34Speaker 1: any witnesses, and that includes Manafort, who did not testify
- 35:38Speaker 1: in his own behalf. One of Manafort's attorneys is Kevin Downing,
- 35:42Speaker 1: rested his case, and he did so because he and
- 35:45Speaker 1: his legal team leave that the government has not met
- 35:48Speaker 1: its burden. Approof prosecutors included their arguments against Manaford on Monday.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Both sides expected to begin making their closing arguments later
- 35:55Speaker 1: on this morning. As promised, President Trump's campaign machine has
- 35:59Speaker 1: followed the form will complaint with an arbitrator against former
- 36:02Speaker 1: White House staffer Armor Rossa, accusing her of violating a
- 36:06Speaker 1: confidentiality agreement by taping White House meetings and releasing them
- 36:11Speaker 1: those tapes to the public, with the complaint coming on
- 36:13Speaker 1: the heels, of course, of yesterday's release of Amor Rossa's
- 36:16Speaker 1: book Unhinged, where she reportedly calls President Trump a racist,
- 36:20Speaker 1: who's suffering from dementia, and who's addicted to diet coke,
- 36:23Speaker 1: among other things. She also said yesterday on TV that
- 36:26Speaker 1: she thinks that Donald Trump is hoping for a race war.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Trump's calling his former friend Ami Rossa a quote crazed, crying,
- 36:33Speaker 1: low life dog. Pennsylvania grand jury says an investigation of
- 36:38Speaker 1: alleged clergy sexual abuse has identified scores of victims and
- 36:42Speaker 1: some three hundred perpetrators. Pennsylvania Attorney General Joshu Pierro says
- 36:46Speaker 1: that estimate comes from records from six Roman Catholic diecies,
- 36:49Speaker 1: over one thousand child victims were identified by our investigation,
- 36:55Speaker 1: though the grand jury notes that they believe that number
- 37:00Speaker 1: was in the thousands, and J. G. Supiro says the
- 37:03Speaker 1: report also accuses church leaders of taking steps to cover
- 37:06Speaker 1: up the abuse year after year after year. He also
- 37:09Speaker 1: says the abuse apparently goes back to the nineteen forties.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And finally, a prayer service held this morning for Aretha
- 37:17Speaker 1: Franklin as the bedside visual does continue for the ailing
- 37:21Speaker 1: Queen of Soul. Many friends have stopped by Aretha's Detroit
- 37:24Speaker 1: at home to express their love and respect for her.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Her publicist Gwen Quinn says that Stevie Wonder stop by yesterday,
- 37:31Speaker 1: as did the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Aretha's ex husband actor
- 37:35Speaker 1: Glenn Turman, to spend time there for a point. For
- 37:37Speaker 1: a point, someone who spoke to the Associated Press anonymously
- 37:40Speaker 1: will say only that Miss Franklin is ill and that
- 37:43Speaker 1: no more details of being provided. Jay Z Beyonce, as
- 37:45Speaker 1: you heard moments ago, dedicated their Monday night concert in
- 37:48Speaker 1: the Motor City to Aretha Franklin, and those sending their

- 48:29Speaker 1: close to six years now, five and a half years, okay,
- 48:33Speaker 1: and for my understanding. You're doing a great job. Everyone
- 48:36Speaker 1: seems to love what you're doing on Sunday mornings, which
- 48:38Speaker 1: is definitely a blessing for the entire congregation. Right. So
- 48:43Speaker 1: what I was giving you a call on is there
- 48:45Speaker 1: seems to be a bit of discrepancy with some of
- 48:48Speaker 1: the antics that is going on when you are directing

- 49:21Speaker 1: let me let me get back to what I was.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I was thinking that some people in the congregation are
- 49:25Speaker 1: actually having a problem with your antics when you're directing
- 49:28Speaker 1: toquy uh different things that they're not happy with. It
- 49:32Speaker 1: is a sorrowful moment, I should say, for me to
- 49:35Speaker 1: have to come to you and tell you that you know,
- 49:37Speaker 1: as of today we're gonna have to ask you to
- 49:41Speaker 1: step down as the Minister of music. Letter, I'm not
- 49:44Speaker 1: hearing you correctly. You have a problem with the Holy
- 49:48Speaker 1: Spirit getting the whole of me so direct. Well, it's
- 49:52Speaker 1: not necessarily it's not the Holy Spirit at all. If
- 49:54Speaker 1: you can shot all day, that has nothing to do
- 49:56Speaker 1: with it. I guess, just different antics that you have.
- 49:59Speaker 1: You know that the congregation is just not I need
- 50:02Speaker 1: you to be a little more clear on what you're saying. Antics.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Please tell me what you're saying. So is it that
- 50:10Speaker 1: my has too long? Is it that I look too cute?
- 50:13Speaker 1: So I'm not I don't want to hear it, but
- 50:15Speaker 1: I want to go take attack with you. Like I said,

- 50:20Speaker 1: Please say it. Bay they fired me, they fired me today.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I want you to say it. And I want to
- 50:27Speaker 1: know if the path to hide me, why didn't he
- 50:30Speaker 1: fire me. Well, it's kind of like a business, you know,
- 50:33Speaker 1: it's it's um. The higher ups really keep their hands
- 50:36Speaker 1: clean on these type of things, and there's always someone
- 50:38Speaker 1: that has to deliver the message, you know. And I'm
- 50:41Speaker 1: and I and you know what, and I understand that,
- 50:43Speaker 1: but I want you to explain to me what answic
- 50:47Speaker 1: Please tell me, Please tell me. So I'm not listen.

- 51:05Speaker 1: And to the nut shop every say, any morning? And
- 51:09Speaker 1: I want to look to you just like everybody else
- 51:11Speaker 1: want to look cute on Sunday morning? Right right? A
- 51:14Speaker 1: problem with that, sir? Like I said, I'm just a message.
- 51:17Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with what you know. You're
- 51:19Speaker 1: doing well? Who have problem with? Evidently? People all the sting.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I'm helpful it now that I'm looking better than Okay,
- 51:26Speaker 1: let let me go ahead and ask you something else.

- 51:44Speaker 1: you were gonna wear green contact lenses? Okay? Well are
- 51:48Speaker 1: they prescribed? They prescribed if I bought them, See, Lorenzo,

- 52:30Speaker 1: because I'm gonna show up at the musical tonight and
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna have my green contact on with my dreen. So, Lorenzo,
- 52:36Speaker 1: I'm asking you now not to show up for the
- 52:38Speaker 1: actual musical tonight. I'm gonna happen. You definitely won't be
- 52:42Speaker 1: what's going happen for showing up? Y'all gonna put me

- 55:57Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Object is it taught for
- 56:01Speaker 1: me to move on? Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been in
- 56:05Speaker 1: a relationship with my fiance for three years. In the beginning,
- 56:10Speaker 1: everything was great, but things have taken a turn for
- 56:13Speaker 1: the worst. She has hit me on two different occasions
- 56:17Speaker 1: and it started. It startled me because I have never
- 56:21Speaker 1: raised my hand to her or even been mad enough
- 56:24Speaker 1: to hit her. Lately, she has been pointing out my
- 56:27Speaker 1: flaws and to add insult to injury. Sex is like
- 56:30Speaker 1: a foreign concept to her. She has no desire to
- 56:34Speaker 1: have sex with me now, no matter how many different
- 56:36Speaker 1: ways I try. I have women that flirt with me daily,
- 56:40Speaker 1: but when I'm around my fiance is like, I don't exist.
- 56:44Speaker 1: We have been living together for the past two years
- 56:46Speaker 1: and she doesn't work, so I am responsible for all
- 56:50Speaker 1: of the bills. I bought her a new car, and
- 56:53Speaker 1: I do the very best I can to take care
- 56:55Speaker 1: of her. And she won't even cook breakfast or dinner anymore.
- 56:59Speaker 1: She on hold my hand in public, so hugging or
- 57:02Speaker 1: kissing her on the cheek is out of the question.
- 57:05Speaker 1: When we're at home together, she is constantly on her phone,
- 57:09Speaker 1: scrolling on social media, watching videos, and looking at pictures.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'm only thirty four years old, but I feel like
- 57:16Speaker 1: my happiness is passing me by. I would hate to
- 57:20Speaker 1: leave her since we are planning a wedding, but I
- 57:23Speaker 1: cannot spend the rest of my life like this. Is
- 57:25Speaker 1: there anything I can do to get this relationship back
- 57:28Speaker 1: on track? This is supposed to be my forever love.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Please help. Okay, First, stop the wedding plans right now.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Just stop making plans because you guys aren't ready. I
- 57:39Speaker 1: mean this, this is a relationship that's going nowhere right now?
- 57:44Speaker 1: How things are right? Now is how things will be,
- 57:47Speaker 1: and uh, they could get worse. And unless you guys
- 57:50Speaker 1: get some help some problems. I don't know. This relationship
- 57:54Speaker 1: looks hopeless to me. I mean, think about it. If
- 57:56Speaker 1: she's hitting you now before you get married, what do
- 57:59Speaker 1: you think is going to make her stop after the marriage?
- 58:03Speaker 1: I mean, I don't condone violence, uh when men hit women,
- 58:07Speaker 1: and I certainly don't condone violence when women hit men.
- 58:10Speaker 1: That needs to stop. If she's not, um, you know,
- 58:14Speaker 1: giving you sex right now, and she has no desire
- 58:18Speaker 1: to have sex with you right now, what makes you
- 58:20Speaker 1: think that's going to change? You're thirty four years old
- 58:23Speaker 1: and and you're definitely right. You're not happy, and um,
- 58:27Speaker 1: your your happiness is passing you by. She's on social
- 58:31Speaker 1: media constantly, she's not into the relationship at all. She
- 58:34Speaker 1: doesn't even cook with you for for you anymore. It
- 58:38Speaker 1: sounds to me like she's checked out of the relationship.
- 58:40Speaker 1: So how do you get it back on track? I
- 58:43Speaker 1: don't know, because she's already gone. It seems, um, you're
- 58:46Speaker 1: responsible for all the bills she doesn't work. You sound
- 58:50Speaker 1: like a good man, a decent man, USh, and you
- 58:53Speaker 1: certainly deserve better. Uh, This relationship looks very, very hopeless
- 58:58Speaker 1: to me to get it back on practice. I mean
- 59:01Speaker 1: there are things you could do, of course, like get
- 59:03Speaker 1: some counseling for for one, But I just don't see
- 59:07Speaker 1: this relationship going anywhere. You Steve, what do you think?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Hell no, I don't even know what what is this letter? Folks?
- 59:16Speaker 1: First of all, let me just get with the fact
- 59:19Speaker 1: that he howled. That's it. What you ain't got no kids,
- 59:24Speaker 1: you ain't married. Boy, run out from this health. This
- 59:31Speaker 1: is not what you want. This letter right here. It's
- 59:35Speaker 1: nothing good in the letter. This let her go to
- 59:37Speaker 1: hell as soon as he started talking. Yes, you've been
- 59:41Speaker 1: with your fiance three years. In the beginning, everything was great,
- 59:45Speaker 1: ain't it always always in the beginning? What in the
- 59:49Speaker 1: beginning ain't been right? That's how I began. That's why
- 59:53Speaker 1: I began, because it was wonderful. But things have taken
- 59:56Speaker 1: a turn for the worst. She has hit me on
- 59:59Speaker 1: two different and it started and it startled me because
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I've never even raised my hand to her and been
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: mad enough to hit her. Okay, let's go over this line.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: She hit me on two different caves and it startled me.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Let's just go on say what to see. She'd just
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: slapped your ass so hard he scared you startled? Is
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: a is a letter writing turns? She slapped you so
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: hard she scared your Is it a startled sound? It
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: was like this And the second time she slapped you,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you double up. You know what the hell was going?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: So you didn't start them. She scared you. Let me
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: just say this, and I'm not gonna believe at this point.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Right here, you're in for a series of more asks
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: for me. I want you to know that they just
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: started and gennt done it twice. She's gonna file for you.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Get all right, now, let's move on. Okay, Lately she's
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: been pointing out my flaws and to add insult to injury.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Sex is like a foreign concept to her. She has
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: no design to have sex with me now, no matter
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: how many different ways I tried. Okay, right there we out?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Wow are you still thirty four? When I was thirty four,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I had to have sex all the time, even when
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I ain't on it. I felt a strong obligation happen.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: If you asked me, I just said, Yet I didn't
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: have to like you. You ain't really got to be
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: my title. You ain't really even got to be all
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: that damn a trapper. I was thirty four. I had
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to unload this war because the backup was in forty
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: eight hours. In forty eight hours, I had accumulated enough
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: backup where we're starting to make my eyes. Did women
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: ask back in the day like that thought you did? Okay?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Like if I walked past and you looked at me,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I assume you must. So I turned around and ask
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you what you know you're looking over here? I'm in
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: this mall, I'm broke, I ain't got no house. You're
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: gonna sleep together? Always think that because I'm holding this thing,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: they think I want to sleep with you because you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: probably got a bed something, and that means I ain't
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: got to stay in this car to now Do I
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: love you? Hell? Yeah? Right now? Are you fine? To me?
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Just what I've been looking for? So now? No sex?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: This is over, man, Okay, hold it right there. Let's
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: take a break. When we come back, talk about that one.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: All right. The subject is is it time for me
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to move on? That is the subject of my letter today.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's response is coming up at twenty
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: three after the hour. You're listening to The Steven Show.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Hi everyone, it's your girl Carla Farrow here, and I'm
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: so excited to be talking to you again about group on.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I can't believe that some people think using group on
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: is hard. I mean, all you need to buy book
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: and save money is right in the app. And the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: more you do, the more you save. It's as simple
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: as getting out your phone, opening up the group on
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: app and start saving money on what you do every day.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: It's never been easier. Download the app and save group
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: on All right, Steve Uh, Let's let's recap this letter subject.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Is it time for me to move on? For you
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: don't due in relationship? He lived with this one for
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: two years. They feel ill, say she don't have sex
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: with it? No b She dogs and points out all
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: his flaws. Don't hold his hand and they do not,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and she hits him, then hit him twice. These is
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: hits right now, They're going to develop. They're going to grow,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: just like feelings grow. So do ask, but they do.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Mine grew as a child. My father made him a
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: little bit more severe and more severe until I got it.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: See everything grows. I have whom it's gonna grow. These
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: ain't gonna be hits in a minute. Now she didn't
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: beat you, and now she ain't having no sexual So
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: now and your thirty four. And like I said, when
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I thirty four, I had hals even when I didn't
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: want and a lot of times I'm gonna be just
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: even more honest with you. I didn't make the decisionsion
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: my privates made me. It decided for me. You've often
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: heard your mama said, why don't you think with the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: head on top of your neck when you're gonna use
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: your big gass head to think, you ain't got wrong
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: for a brain in it. Okay, we get it. So anyway,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: he's not having sex. This is over which he don't
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: have no design to text. We've been living together for
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the past two years. Talk about what she's not working.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I'm getting that part right here. She does not work,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: so I'm responsible for all the bills. Well you know,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I ain't. I understand that, but you know if you know, man,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: look you you're finding something wrong right now. If she
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: was Look, a woman don't really have to work to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: validate herself. Homemakers are incredibly efficient and very much needed.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: So I can't knock that part. But you're mad at
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: her because she ain't working out, because she ain't giving
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you no cooking, because you aren't here, you're working for cooking.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: She lets you keep. Let's throw this out here too.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: The reason we all go to work as men, the
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: reason we buy, we bathe and shower, the reason we have,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the reason we're gonna get it any form of education,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the reason we are in our clothes where deodori by
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: watching shine our shoes. It's for cooking. Now you're not
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: getting no cooking. But she at the house eating. Yeah, oh,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: ain't having sex, she's not cooking. I didn't take offense
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: to that line that she doesn't cook for practice. Well
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you know I don't give a damn she cookie. She
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: don't won't even cook breakfas a dinner no more. What
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: why is you worried about the food? You're not having sex.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Let's get back to that. Hey, what you gotta eat
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: for you ain't working up? No, you ain't got the advertise.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: You ain't done that in weeks. I wouldn't even be hungry. Yeah,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: I've bought her a new car, and I do the
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: best I can to take care of her. And she
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: won't even cook breakfast or dinner. She won't hold my
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: hand in public, so hugging or kissing her on the
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: cheek is out of the question. When we home together,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: she's constantly on the phone, scrolling on social media, watching videos,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and looking at pictures. I'm only thirty four, but I
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: feel that my happiness is passing away, slipping right through
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: your Fencers player, slipping right through your fingers. All your
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: happiness is tied up into this dried up old stink.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: No working, evil slapping you ask whopping won't okay? I
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: want to make sure I got everything. Then he said,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I would hate to leave her. You gotta kid out.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: You would hate to leave her? Oh you like getting slapped,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: You like not having sex, You like buying cars and
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: getting nothing in return. You like people that's on social media.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Won't even let you kiss on the cheek, can hold
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: her head. I would hate to leave here. You ought
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to hate to stay when some woman would be happy
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: to get this. Man, Oh man, they're gonna get us
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: since we are playing in the I would hate to
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: leave her, since we're playing in a wind holding man.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Who what? What? What? Are you married? You're feeling married? This?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Are you crazy? Are you crazy? If you're not happy? Now,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: madge does not make a person happy. Madge is a
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: completion manage. Ain't started nothing. It's to complete something. You
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: don't marry nobody start to get happy. You married somebody
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: so you can finish being happy. Marriage is about completion, man.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Anybody start, you can start a family and all this here,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: But guess what the that's that's life altered. I can't
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: but I cannot spend the rest of my night life
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: like this. Well, you better not marry her? Please? Is
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: there anything I can do to get this relationship back
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: on track? And white relationship? Boy, she's slapping you. He
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: ain't having sex, she ain't working, she driving a car.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: You can't kiss him, you can't hug. You can't talk
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to her in public. She don't talk to you. You
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: ain't have you ain't having sex. You're thirty four? What
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: is you doing? Because you got to be backed up? Boy,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: you got to be right now. Your ear drums just hurt.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I haven't happened. I had that happen, your ear drums study.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I was six weeks one time in your ear, my ears,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: your ears? What are your ears have to do with it?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: It's just pressure. It was like I was on a plane,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: the cabin fish it went down. My ears was I
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: hadn't had sex in six weeks. I was in my thirties.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: That can't happen in your thirties. You don't know what
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to do. My eyes was getting big, teeth was starting
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: to hurt. But you had an ear ache all the time,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and I was homeless. I had too much going on.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I looked over the head rest one time I saw
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: blood on My ears had started. The pressure was trying
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: to come out somewhere. I was driving my car, man,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: just looking at anything or billboard or panic bill bad.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Everything was exciting to me. Set up here, man. I
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: used to get out the car and walk through the mall,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: just walking to women to problem. You just walk pad
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: brawls and head, just trying to fast sometimes relief. Alright, guys,

- 1:10:41Speaker 1: is out Unhinged. We'll talk about both of you. She's
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: been doing. Who bought it? Bought it right right after this,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're still here.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: We're still of course, our thoughts and our prayers are
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: going up for the Queen of excuse me Soul, Aretha Franklin. Carter, Carl,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: you have some more prayer messages for the qua. Yeah,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: we have a lot of little choked up there. Yeah.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: We got a lot of loyal listeners, a lot of
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the Queen of Soul, her fans. They are commenting and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: posting on Steve Harvey FM, on all of our social
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: media pages. Gail McGregor says, praying for healing. Uh Eu,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Junia day La Rosa. She says, our prayers are being
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: sent to you less you know Eugenia, Eugenia. You thought
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: it was from Junior Penny Franklin, she was on Facebook.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: On Steve Harvey FM, she says, prayers for the Queen
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: of Soul. Only God has the final word. Uh yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: this was from Twitter, Big Mama from Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: My heart is broken over the news of Aretha Franklin.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I am praying for her. Her favorite song is called
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Me Moment You Get There. I love you. I love
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you too, damn big Mama. That is the jam and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: this one is from Aaron Connor. There will be one,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: only one the original reread right there? Yea, yeah, and
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: keep those comments and positive prayers. All of your comments
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: and messages come and go to all of our social
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: media at Steve Harvey FM, and we'll try to get
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: to as many as we can. All right, Well, thank you, Carla.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Yesterday we talked about Alma Rossa. She released her tell
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: a book called Unhinged, and she stopped by the Today Show.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Take a listen to Alma Rossa. Have you known that
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: he's he is a liar? As you say, well, absolutely,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: why don't you work for him? Savannah? Slow down, I'm
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: going to ask your question. Don't worry. I'm here, I've
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: got all the time, know but you don't have to
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: ask him questions in one second. It's okay. First of all,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: he is known to be an entertainer to exaggerate, but
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I never expect at him to lie to the country.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: That was Rosa in her interview with the NBC Today Shows, Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I mean okay. Donald Trump also denied every using the
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: N word and insists there's no tapes um from the
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Apprentice with him doing so. But did you see what
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: the President tweeted about Amar Rosa? He said, when you
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: give a crazed low life a break and give her
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: a job at the White House, I guess it didn't
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: that dog. Anybody surprised. Come on, now, ste firing that dog.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Listen to me, this is the President of the States.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: How do you speak? Not just run down a list
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: of things? He said, But she's a woman, this woman
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: a dog. Wait a minute, he grabbed women by the pea. Yea, yes, yes,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: he now, y'all dogs and a female dog is called
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: what you don't think? He said that where we are now,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: this dude right here, this is what he do. And
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: if you do anything against him, he fired from the hill.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: This dude is he's not presidential. He should not be
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the President of the United States. He just happens to
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: be the President of the United States. But don't you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: think one day it's going to kick in? Hey, President,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: maybe I should start acting a little more high ain't
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: kicked in yet. It's just no, he ain't new. No,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: he's an old, privileged rich man. He ain't new. He
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: is just up there saying what he'd been saying. This
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: dude is not presidential. The saddest part for me about
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: this it's not him. It's not him that's the most
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: disappointing to me. It's people who support him and and
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: act like this is okay. It's normalizing this type of behavior.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: That's the shocking part. That he can get tens of
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: millions of people to agree with him. The sad part
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: is when he goes to a rally and every word
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: he says clapped. If he just said that I allowed,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: if he just said gay, that that dog, his base
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: would have erupted in cheers. You know, it's okay for
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Savannah and Alma Rossa to agree to disagree or have
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: a little back and forth in the interview, because that's
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: why I was saying, what you're talking to, you know,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: But for him to call this woman a dog, that's
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: a I'm not saying it's not offensive. I'm not saying
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: you should be not offended by this. He's not going
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to apologize and it's not going to change a damn
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: thing because this dude, it's speaking from a place that
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: he grew up in. This dude has no reference of
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: respecting women. Wait a minute, didn't you hear the playboy bunny? Yeah,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: she's been in the room to looked at milanni room.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Hold up, wait a minute, you didn't took a chick
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to your crib dog while he was married? Hold up, partner,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: who got away with it? This? This? Who? We got?
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: This who? That girl ain't lying she been in the apartment.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: He took her down through the base. He had a
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: long fare with her. I ain't saying you can't be
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: president if you haven't had the fact, we wouldn't have
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: no damn president, and probably Richard Nixon too, because ain't
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: nobody could but everybody else. You know, kid, you know Reagan,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: you know the playoffs players, you know Bill, you know
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: you know, you know the playoffs. You know. I'm I've
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: gotten live with that. This guy has taken a playboy
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: bunny to his house. Walk past your wife, ruthe Karen McDougall, Yeah, Joe,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: he called I'm a rossa a dog hiding me And
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: let me tell you something. His base will repeated to
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: him by applauding him when he comes there, and then
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: watch soon just gonna go over. He gonna make another
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: trip to one of them, a little or red villagers
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: attacking a person of color, color and a woman. That's
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: what he does. I'm a rossa is a dog, football
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: players and songs of bitches. Rights can't be gudges. Yeah,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and they rapists and robbers and thieves and coming up
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Bonjeur. We

- 1:18:35Speaker 1: have to go see it, all right, Please come back
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: with extensive report. Take well, I was saying around the world. Um,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you know, we have to take time out to send
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: prayers up for Aretha Franklin who's ill right now. Our family,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of course is causing is calling for prayer and calling
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: for privacy at this time, Aretha isn't hospice, and uh,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you know, we just wanted to spend some time reflecting.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: We love Aretha, We're praying for her and just to
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: you know, let her know how we feel about her
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: and how much, how much, Yeah, she's meant to us
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: through all these years, Steve, And yesterday you talked to
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Frankie garself from Detroit and Philly radio. That was a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: great ye. But I'm you know, because the Queen is here,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: she is, she is absolutely. I don't want to start though.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I just like to remain positive. Yeah, we got in
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: our prayers. You never know what can happen. That's what
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: miracles happen every day. And how strong believers on this hi.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Hospice does not mean it's over for you. It doesn't
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: mean a lot of people personally personally know people were
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: put in hospice and still here. Yeah, me too, And
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: so I'm that's what I just try to stay there
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: with it, you know. Yeah. I just remember um one
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: time when I met her, I was working at w
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: g C I and yes, and she she she gave
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: a concert and the radio radio station hosted the concert,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: and afterwards we got a chance to go up and
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: meet Aretha Franklin. Oh my god, you had to walk
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: up these stairs, You had to wait. You talk about
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: waiting in line here at the Gucci store, Steve off
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the Air, you talked about that, but we I didn't
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: care about. I didn't care how long the line was
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to wait to see Aretha. And when when when it
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: finally came to be my turn, they opened the door.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I took a deep breath and there she was sitting
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: there like the queen that she is. And it was
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: really like meeting the Queen. I mean really, I felt
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I did everything but Curtsey. I did everything. I did
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: everything but that. But she was just so grand and
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: so beautiful, you know, And it was just a thrill
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: for me to meet her. And we didn't have camera
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: phones back then, so I couldn't take it. I couldn't
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: take yes, But I was just so happy to meet her. Yes,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: since festival I'm hosting and brought my mama, My mama. No,

- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I said, huh, she ain't got the money yet. Read.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Don't come out there without our money. I said, what
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: are you thinking about? Mr? Read? Franklin came out there
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: with this gigantic purse with her money and set it
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: on that stool and started saying. And I said, wow,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you know the old schools. Old school artists are still
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: that way. Yeah, but they don't come out without them.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: So I don't wait on a lot of shops. I've
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: seen Frankie Beverly Mays do it. I was with Open
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: for Little Milton at the Pink Flamingo right outside of
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: her at More at More, Alabama, where the prison that
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I was performed with Little Milton, the eight o'clock show leven.

- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I said, that man, ain't even hell. Well, I got
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to start doing something for the people, So you're going
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: out there and get started. I went out there, man.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: The old last people remembers only Jack. One lady had
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: on a crystal sequence gun. She was up walking around.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: It was sequence all over the field. I don't know
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: what was holding the sequence on that, but it was
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: badly they had just put it on that. Yeah, whatever, man,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I started telling joke this dude. As soon as I
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: started this, old man stood upset. You ain't funny. So
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I told him old jokes was nothing working. He stood
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: up again and said, you still ain't funny, And so
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I tried to go on a little bit. I was
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: young in my career, you know. I tried to go again.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: By about five minute later, you ain't said nothing funny.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Then hood kicked in. I said, well, I'll tell you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: what you're right about. That ain't going real good for
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: me right now. But since your ass wants to be
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: in the show, here we go. Let's start talking about
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: your drunk as ass up right now. You used to you.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I had them people on the floe scream right now.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: And so after I read out of stuff from them,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I started in on his table. Little Milton, every show,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: oh man, Little Milton showed up reading on his money.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Then the dude came up to me. They was a
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: little short with a little Milton. I was up there
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: for a hundred and fifty dollars. The dude told me
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: with the mink. He had a mint bomber jacket on.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: She he was a road manager. He had a briefcase
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: like the dude used to be with Eddie Neil, a briefcase.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: He looked at me and said, a little man, we're
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: a little short. You're gonna have to help us out here.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I said, I got I got help. What did that
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: mean short? So he said, we're gonna pay you had
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I said, hold on, hold up, I said, we had agree.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I haven't done my set. I had the people dying left.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: He said, man, did you hear what I said? He said,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: we're gonna be a little shout tonight. It ain't say
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: it like we thought it's gonna say it. He said
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: that everybody gonna to take a little hit. Some of
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the band gonna take a hit. You don't have to
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: help us out, I said, bro, I ain't in the band.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Holden up his mink coat. He had a gun stuffed
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: in the pocket. He said, man, how long we got
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to talk about this? I said, right after you give
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: me the semifive dollars, don't you tell me we really
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: had to help me? Helpen up that coat, he had
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that little gun. He said, how long we're gonna talk
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: about this? Then we stopped talking about this soon as
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you give me my set about this, Just say no

- 1:25:12Speaker 1: gonna revolve. Just go off on anything, alright, Coming up next,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: here's something past your motown and decon deaf jam would
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: be interested in. Okay, ah, pam I hate a story?
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Well I well, first of all, did they know we're here?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: So we will just show up radio while like that
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: damn game, come out. Don't cuss past her. Okay, here
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: we go. A woman accused of lustfulness for breastfeeding in
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: church and she was accused of lustfulness because she breast
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: fad in church she nursed. A Michigan woman says she
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: was shamed by a pastor for breastfeeding in church. Her
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: name is Amy merchant Uh. She says the incident occurred
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: two months ago when she was nursing her child at
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: the nas Church in Brighton. She was accused of immodestly
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: and inspiring lustfulness and modesty and inspiring lustfulness and was
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: told to cover up or use a private room. Marschant
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: says she has since received an apology from the pastor
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: who privately message almost said massage her, who privately messaged
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: her on Facebook. She also received a public apology from
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: lead pastor Ben Wall's senior, Ben Wall's Senior, who said,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: were Ben Walls Senior, We're very sorry for the embarrassment
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: and hurt cause when she was asked to cover up
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: or use one of those rooms. He added that that
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: wasn't the intention. Regardless of the apology, Marchaunt says she
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: doesn't plan on returning to the church. And this is
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: from the New York Post that story. We need to
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: careful tate to this. That's right, that's right. We need
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: to enlighten the congregation about this. Come on, pastor, we
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I have heard this story. Yes, we had a little amy.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Merchant went to church to worship in during the time
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: of worship, her baby must have yet out let out
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: uncomfortable cry. She immediately corps out, blessing what passed. She
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: whimps out the blessed, blessed quietness, holy quiet. Yeah. I
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: noticed the whip out myself. I was writing notes for
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: I was the second speaker that game. Amy whipped out
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: the blessing. I immediately joined in with the blessing. I
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: had a feeling that sister Amy had directed the flip
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: out to me. She was nursing her baby. Before it
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: got to the baby, there's a split second from the
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: whip out to the mouth that time intween now belonged
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: to me. Therefore, I accused her of lustfulness and she inspired?
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Is that meaning she made us won't hull? Yes? More,
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: that's what the breasts are for Pastor to come back
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: and get into. All right, we'll have more of the
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show when we come back right after this.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: That might be a breath today. You're listening to the
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, Um, we're we're back. Pastor motown
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: teaking death. Cham. We just read a story of about
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: a woman who was in church and she was accused
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: of and modesty and inciting or yeah, because she nursed
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: her baby. Because to depart you not understand what is that?
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Pastor is dead? When the baby started crying, yes, and
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: she realized what the baby won't it, and she whipped
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: out the blessing. There's a brief moment in between the
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: whip out and the baby mouth that baby latching. That
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: time in between, now what calls me to desire lustfulness
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: And I'm in here trying to watch. It's like a
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: millisecond that you how do you? Is a mellisecond? That's
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: what the breasts are fore pastor to feed the baby,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: baby cham when there is no baby to be feed. Yeah,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: here we go. Now, m's the feeding fault. Come out here?
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: Now you have no baby, but you still have bread. Yes,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Now if the breast is for the baby, if you
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: don't have a baby, my question is, am I not
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: your baby? Have you not said this to your girlfriend?
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: That's my baby over there, and I'm sitting over here
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: every bitters able bodied and grown, full flesh and viral.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: You have regularly adult food to absolutely? Yeah, the baby
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: has no teeth. Well, now that's a different sething. Now
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: you should. It's the situation called you don't even know
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: I got my full of teeth. You won't even know
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: that now, I promise you, good Lord a mighty the
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: things I doing. Moving on, gummy time is what you
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: be quiet. You know that you're trying to make breastfeeding
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: and public a law. Do you know that you can't
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: do it? You know that you can't should be allowed
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: to feed baby with baby? Do we vote? Doingentive and
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: sent him to vote. Such a wonderful thing, wonderful story.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: Glad you shared it with us. We are not going
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: to be polishing our church. We won't have that you
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: can't breastfeed. Do you have a room for the mothers
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: to just not prefer that it'd be right out here? Well,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: how about okay, if it's right out here, how about
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: a cloth? You know some women have a nursing cloth
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: that they put over their breast, so that you know,
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: and we're not going to have cloths in him. It's
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: not j p j J. We're not doing cloths and
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: we're not doing head coverings. Take us pass, so let
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: us know that the J p j J message just
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: come on. You know that we'll be some type of
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: backlash there might be to today. We'll be back with
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: more and to close out the show, thank god. Right
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: last break of the day, right before we get to
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: your closing remarks, Steve, we got to say to you again,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: we can't thank you enough for bringing us over here
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: this fabulous trip. We've had an amazing time. The French
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: people are so sweet and kind and and nice, and
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: they speak so beautifully melodic. Yeah, hey, let me tell
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you all something about Aretha Franklin Man, because you know,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: I don't want people to I don't want people to
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: think that we're you know, this is a farewell because
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: but Missy Elliott said something really smart. She was after
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: she sent her prayers up. She said, refer back to
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: my text, and Ms Elliott had text that we've got
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: to take time out to honor these legends while they
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: live in So this is just a small honoring to
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: the Queen of Soul, who was such a fan of
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: mine and I fan of hers, and you know we've
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: talked many times. I just if her family could give
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: her this. See, we really do know who a wreatha is.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: And in case you're young and millennial, I don't care.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You should know who
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: will wreath the friendships. So just let me help you understands.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: See a national treasure. She is the Queen of Soul,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: just like James Brown was the Godfather of soul. Mr
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: Queen of Soul, Mary J. Blige is the current queen
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: of hip hop and soul. But do you understand that
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: if it was no Aretha Franklin, there would be no
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: Mary J. Blige, That there would be no Anita Baker,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: That that would be no Quitney. Do you know that
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: there would be no error Kaba dude? There would be
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: no Jail Scott. That would be no Vivian Green, that
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: would be no Beyonce, that would be no Layla half Away.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: There would be no Yolanda Adams. That would not be
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: no Kimbarell. That would be no Shaka Khan. I can
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: go down the list. There would be no emotions. I'm
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: telling you, and all these girls I'm naming to you
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: can sane. And you know where they got it from
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: from the Queen of soul, because you know a Wreatha
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: can do. Wreatha can fat out say, Harriet, I don't
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: care opera goss Bowl, she can play her daddy was
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: all that up in Detroit. This is who readA Franklin
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: is now listen to me. There are other icons in
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: this world still living Patty LaBelle, Still Hill, Gladys Night,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Still Hill. But do you understand, Dana Ross. Let let me,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: let me, let me just get you to understand what
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: we're really talking about. We're just talking about sheer greatness
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: at the rawest level. Take all the technology out and
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: all these people I just named, you can still flat
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: out say now if your name is on this list,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: I just forgot. There are some names I probably forgotten.

- 1:37:17Speaker 1: you what Fantasier tell you that because they got it.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: See Eric got it, They got it. Janet Jackson would
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: not exist without Aretha Franklin. I just saw Beyonce live
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: and Beyonce right now the greatest living female artists in
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: terms of showmanship and singing the whole package. I've never
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: seen a more talented person than Beyonce. Now, now, when
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: you started talking about singing, hold up now, we got
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: to get on over here started talking about Aretha. Frank
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: you gotta get over here. You gotta start talking about

- 1:38:09Speaker 1: I got what Missy said, and Missy right, So I
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: just want her family, if they're listening up in Detroit,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: just get this to her and just play it and
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: just tell her how much we appreciate all she had
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: done up to this point. And if it's God's will,
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: this morning yet to come. But right now, I don't
