- 2:21Speaker 1: we gonna play the show this week? But man, it's
- 2:25Speaker 1: been a lot of amazing things has happened to me
- 2:29Speaker 1: over the years, and not all of them good. It's
- 2:35Speaker 1: been some amazingly bad things that have happened too. But
- 2:39Speaker 1: I just come on in the morning as a reminder
- 2:42Speaker 1: to everybody of the actual goodness of God that you know, man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: that these mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that
- 2:51Speaker 1: you keep having that these falls that keep occurring in
- 2:56Speaker 1: your life that they all are leading you somewhere. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: you just don't ever give up. That's the key. You
- 3:04Speaker 1: can never ever give up because you don't know how
- 3:09Speaker 1: the trip has been laid out for you. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: if somebody had told me years ago when I had
- 3:18Speaker 1: the dream of being on TV and then I thought
- 3:20Speaker 1: about being a one of one of the best comedians
- 3:24Speaker 1: I could be. You know when when I when I started,
- 3:27Speaker 1: somebody had told me everything that was gonna have to
- 3:31Speaker 1: happen in order for me to get there, I would
- 3:34Speaker 1: have changed it. I would have I would have said, Okay,
- 3:38Speaker 1: well I ain't gonna be that. How about this? See
- 3:42Speaker 1: and no one can know all of the events of
- 3:46Speaker 1: their life ahead of time. You know, it'd be so nice,
- 3:48Speaker 1: wouldn't it. You know, to prepare for it, see it coming,
- 3:53Speaker 1: be aware of the haters, always knowing when the backstabbing
- 3:58Speaker 1: moment is coming in your life, always knowing when you're
- 4:01Speaker 1: gonna get blindsided by the enemy. We are really great
- 4:04Speaker 1: to know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's not how it works.
- 4:08Speaker 1: So since no one knows exactly the challenges and the
- 4:14Speaker 1: pitfalls and the detools that's going to be set them.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It's it's it's imperative that you just don't give up
- 4:23Speaker 1: because see, knowing these things, we as human beings by nature,
- 4:31Speaker 1: would choose another route. But it ain't the route God
- 4:34Speaker 1: God for you, though. See the route God God for you.
- 4:37Speaker 1: If you if you're trying to do the right thing,
- 4:40Speaker 1: if you're doing the best you can, if you ain't
- 4:43Speaker 1: out here just intentionally just messing over folks, if you're
- 4:47Speaker 1: using faith and that's the belief in things that you
- 4:50Speaker 1: cannot see. If you have something on the inside of
- 4:54Speaker 1: you to keep saying there's got to be more to
- 4:56Speaker 1: life than that, then that's that's you. You might friend
- 5:00Speaker 1: have a great chance here. And if you've ever had
- 5:04Speaker 1: that feeling and gave up on it, just get it back,
- 5:07Speaker 1: Just ask for it back. Just say, hey, man, I'm
- 5:10Speaker 1: getting back to the way I used to be because
- 5:13Speaker 1: there's a change that's available in your life. But you
- 5:16Speaker 1: gotta take it. You gotta take a shot at it. Folks.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's a chance for you to get it right, but
- 5:22Speaker 1: you gotta take a shot at it. Folks. There's a
- 5:25Speaker 1: chance for you to turn this whole thing around with
- 5:28Speaker 1: God's help, but you gotta take a shot at it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You see, this decision is yours. The decision to lay
- 5:35Speaker 1: down and give up, that's yours. It ain't. It just
- 5:38Speaker 1: got too hard for me. Life too much, man, life
- 5:41Speaker 1: hard and too much for everybody. What I gotta get
- 5:44Speaker 1: you to see is if you don't lay down and
- 5:48Speaker 1: give in to it, there's some great things in store
- 5:51Speaker 1: for your life because all of the things, every lesson
- 5:56Speaker 1: I've ever ever learned, the best lesson has been a lesson.
- 6:02Speaker 1: My father used to always tell me. He said, son,
- 6:04Speaker 1: best lessons in life the born your value and learn
- 6:07Speaker 1: the most is a bout lesson. I didn't quite understand
- 6:11Speaker 1: that being young, but I showed God it now ain't
- 6:14Speaker 1: no lesson like a balt lesson. The one you pay for.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Those are the ones that hold to you, that stick
- 6:20Speaker 1: to you, that that that start turning you into who
- 6:24Speaker 1: you're gonna be. Those are the character builders. See, you
- 6:28Speaker 1: got to be forged to get to where you want
- 6:31Speaker 1: to go in life. So that's what the challenges and
- 6:33Speaker 1: missteps is for. That's what the failing is about. Now,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I know you don't like it. I didn't. I know
- 6:39Speaker 1: you're not comfortable with I wouldn't. I know, you wish
- 6:42Speaker 1: it was over sooner than later. I always do. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: always want it to be over sooner than later because
- 6:49Speaker 1: the later manager seems like it's so much I gotta
- 6:52Speaker 1: go through. But let me tell you something, Man, if
- 6:56Speaker 1: you can, if you can forge your way through it
- 6:58Speaker 1: and understand that you are forged in life, I don't know.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I was on TBN one time when I was doing
- 7:06Speaker 1: one of my motivational speeches, and I began to wonder
- 7:11Speaker 1: about this experience I had at Ford Motor Company. And
- 7:16Speaker 1: one of the things that I had came to the
- 7:18Speaker 1: realization of was that that job at Ford Motor Company
- 7:22Speaker 1: taught me a couple of valuable lessons. First of all,
- 7:25Speaker 1: that I had to be at work on time, because
- 7:28Speaker 1: I always was. I had a really, really good work record. Man,
- 7:32Speaker 1: I was a great employee because I because I didn't
- 7:35Speaker 1: want to disappoint anybody. You know, I already saw the
- 7:40Speaker 1: look on my parents' face when I flunked out of college.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I didn't I wanted my father to know that I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was a hard worker, and so when I got the
- 7:48Speaker 1: job at Ford, I wanted to prove to my father
- 7:52Speaker 1: my mother. You know, the Nay says, hey man, I
- 7:55Speaker 1: know how to stick to something. But my last job,
- 7:58Speaker 1: after the auto in thet started going down, my last
- 8:02Speaker 1: job was in the fountry and my job was to
- 8:06Speaker 1: stand at the end almost where the engines first come
- 8:11Speaker 1: out of the furnace. See, the engines are poured into
- 8:14Speaker 1: a mold. It's hot, melted down metal whatever they call it,
- 8:18Speaker 1: lava or whatever. They poured into a mole and it
- 8:21Speaker 1: goes into this furnace that's extremely hot. And my job
- 8:26Speaker 1: was after the heat was applied to the engine block,
- 8:31Speaker 1: it would come through and it would go through a
- 8:34Speaker 1: hardening stage. But the way it was hardening, they would
- 8:36Speaker 1: cool it. Suddenly they would flush it with water. It
- 8:40Speaker 1: was just blast water on it. But the fire and
- 8:44Speaker 1: the high temperature is what made the engine block solidified.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It's because it's gotta get real hot, get melted down first.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Then it's gotta get poured into a mole. Then it's
- 8:56Speaker 1: gotta be pressure hit with water and all it is,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and then it could and it's real hot. Now it's
- 9:02Speaker 1: still hot even though there's water been shutter. But when
- 9:05Speaker 1: it comes out the end of the side, there's a
- 9:07Speaker 1: lot of flashing in it. And flashing is a metal
- 9:10Speaker 1: from that didn't dripped through the cast molding on it,
- 9:14Speaker 1: just like flecks of extra pieces of metal. My job
- 9:18Speaker 1: was to hit this engine block in the front, which
- 9:22Speaker 1: is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing off
- 9:27Speaker 1: the front, and when it came around back to bam,
- 9:31Speaker 1: hit it real hard again on the backside. And that
- 9:35Speaker 1: became the core of what the car is. A car
- 9:39Speaker 1: without a great engine is nothing. It's just a pretty
- 9:42Speaker 1: looking vehicle over there. But if it can't do what
- 9:45Speaker 1: it was made to do because the engine block then cracked.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So you can have a car look real good. But
- 9:50Speaker 1: if it freezes an engine block crack your car, you
- 9:53Speaker 1: can it's over man. You gotta get a new block.
- 9:56Speaker 1: The block is the core. But in order for you
- 9:59Speaker 1: for the car to do it, it's got to do
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's gotta have a strong engine in it. In order
- 10:02Speaker 1: for the engine to be strong, it's got to be
- 10:05Speaker 1: forged and steell, come through, fire, get poured in a mole,
- 10:09Speaker 1: cooled off, heated, knocked around, beat on the front end,
- 10:13Speaker 1: beat on the back end, in order for it to
- 10:15Speaker 1: be what it's gonna be. The maul of the story, folks,
- 10:18Speaker 1: is you got to get forged in fire to be
- 10:22Speaker 1: what you gonna be. You got to get beat up,
- 10:25Speaker 1: you got to get pressure washed, you got to have
- 10:28Speaker 1: heat on you. You You gotta get melted down, you gotta
- 10:30Speaker 1: get poured into a mole. That's how you become who
- 10:34Speaker 1: you are. So the tough things that you're going through,
- 10:36Speaker 1: the difficult challenges and the setbacks. I know a brother
- 10:40Speaker 1: who went to prison, man, And the whole reason he
- 10:43Speaker 1: ended up going to prison because he was looking out
- 10:45Speaker 1: the low window, looking out in the yard at him
- 10:47Speaker 1: working out. And then the next thing, you know, man,
- 10:50Speaker 1: this brother decided that he was gonna go out there
- 10:52Speaker 1: and work out. Well, guess what, he's one of the
- 10:55Speaker 1: top trainers in country. Today. You're listening Steve Harping Morning Show.

- 34:19Speaker 1: I will thank you very much. Everybody, Here we go.
- 34:21Speaker 1: This is a trip everyone. Lawsuits from various quarters are
- 34:25Speaker 1: being prepared this week and answered to President of Trump's
- 34:28Speaker 1: National Emergency declaration, Many wondering if there actually is some
- 34:31Speaker 1: urgent crisis, though at the southern border. Since the President
- 34:34Speaker 1: seemed to contradict himself, I could do the wall over
- 34:36Speaker 1: a longer period of time. I didn't need to do this,
- 34:39Speaker 1: but I'd rather do it much faster, and I don't
- 34:41Speaker 1: have to do it for the election. I've already done
- 34:43Speaker 1: a lot of wall for the election twenty twenty, so
- 34:45Speaker 1: he said he didn't have to do it anyway. Since
- 34:47Speaker 1: the emergency declaration allows Trump to siphon money off from
- 34:50Speaker 1: programs already okayed by the Congress to build that border wall,
- 34:53Speaker 1: the result could be disappointment or even anger if money
- 34:56Speaker 1: is taken from a project that the army or that
- 34:58Speaker 1: a lawmaker promised to constituents. We'll see what happens there.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Senator Tammy Duckworth tells ABC's This Week that the whole
- 35:05Speaker 1: situations were of I don't want a type of government
- 35:07Speaker 1: in place where we're playing these tip for tat games.
- 35:10Speaker 1: It should be one where we serve the American people
- 35:12Speaker 1: by coming to a consensus and where we're headed. This
- 35:14Speaker 1: division is not acceptable for our form of democracy. However,
- 35:18Speaker 1: Trump advised, as Stephen Miller says, the President is ready
- 35:20Speaker 1: to defend his position by the way. Lawmakers in El Paso,
- 35:24Speaker 1: Texas were proved a resolution last week before the President
- 35:27Speaker 1: visited that border town that said quote, el Paso County
- 35:30Speaker 1: is disillusioned by President Trump's lies regarding the border and
- 35:35Speaker 1: our community all pass Those legislators say violent crime dropped
- 35:38Speaker 1: there by over sixty percent in the years leading up
- 35:40Speaker 1: to two thousand and seven, and that the wall wasn't
- 35:42Speaker 1: built there until a year later. The Mayor of Portland,
- 35:45Speaker 1: Oregon ted Wheeler calling for an investigation to the text
- 35:48Speaker 1: messages sent between a Portland police officer and the head
- 35:51Speaker 1: of the racist group called Patriot Prayer. According to the
- 35:54Speaker 1: Willamette Weekly, Lieutenant Jeff Naya allegedly conspired with Patriot Prayers
- 35:59Speaker 1: Joey Gibson to help the right wing group while it
- 36:01Speaker 1: continue to engage in several violent clashes with anti racist demonstrators,
- 36:06Speaker 1: and mayor calls the text messages disturbing. He has the
- 36:08Speaker 1: community members have long express concerns about polices of their
- 36:12Speaker 1: police pro right wing bias during demonstrations. Okay a court
- 36:17Speaker 1: in ABC News Chicago, cops want to talk to Journey Schmalett,
- 36:21Speaker 1: who says that he was the victim of that racist
- 36:24Speaker 1: and homophobic attack a few weeks ago. The report says
- 36:27Speaker 1: that two brothers considered persons of interest at one point
- 36:30Speaker 1: in the case, have been released from custody without charges
- 36:32Speaker 1: and that they're cooperating with the authorities. And now TMZ
- 36:36Speaker 1: says the case is going to be presented to a
- 36:38Speaker 1: grand jury next week. Looks like there's another teacher strike
- 36:42Speaker 1: in the horizon, this time schedule for Oakland, California. Tops
- 36:45Speaker 1: of the weekend box office a lead of Battle Angel.
- 36:52Speaker 1: We've made the biggest mistake of your life, underestimating who
- 36:58Speaker 1: I am. By the end of day, thirty six point
- 37:01Speaker 1: five million dollars. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:04Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right, listen, guys. According to
- 37:08Speaker 1: a new study performed by giftcards dot Com, dating is
- 37:14Speaker 1: making us go broke. Dating is making us go broke? Okay,
- 37:18Speaker 1: really and yeah, that's what the survey said. This is
- 37:24Speaker 1: getting married. Well, this was a Paul Steve of over
- 37:29Speaker 1: a thousand people. It was revealed that single people are
- 37:32Speaker 1: spending an average of one hundred and forty six dollars
- 37:35Speaker 1: per month on dating. Way more than that isn't low.
- 37:41Speaker 1: That's nearly seventeen hundred and fifty dollars a year. Admittedly,
- 37:46Speaker 1: people in a relationship only spent spend slightly less than that,
- 37:49Speaker 1: at one hundred and thirty nine dollars a month, and
- 37:51Speaker 1: married people get off the cheapest of all. If you
- 37:54Speaker 1: can call one hundred and thirty dollars a month cheap. Really,
- 37:59Speaker 1: if if you been in one hundred and thirty on
- 38:01Speaker 1: a date, that's your girl ain't got no ambition, she
- 38:05Speaker 1: ain't really try to do much that she ain't got
- 38:09Speaker 1: no goals for herself. For no one hundred and forty
- 38:12Speaker 1: a month a month on a date, man, that's just
- 38:15Speaker 1: the movies. Total good. But I'm just gonna have to
- 38:19Speaker 1: say this, then say, if we're spending one hundred and
- 38:22Speaker 1: forty six dollars a month on dating, First of all,
- 38:26Speaker 1: you need to make show you got jack one girl,
- 38:30Speaker 1: because did one forty six throw in your ass into something?
- 38:33Speaker 1: Yeah for thirty days? Yeah for thirty days. You you
- 38:37Speaker 1: really gonna have to make sure you got one good now. Secondly, man,
- 38:41Speaker 1: you got to really be thinking of something else to
- 38:44Speaker 1: do for it. Let's sing of it. Let's get out
- 38:47Speaker 1: of our age groups and think of it younger like millennials,
- 38:51Speaker 1: this is probably and how often do they? They may
- 38:54Speaker 1: be saying if you're going two dates and yeah, for
- 38:58Speaker 1: the millennials and for me, the movie it's the same.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Pat damn popcorn don't change. So it has to save
- 39:07Speaker 1: up a lot for this day, right, that's one for Yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 1: that's and that's just one day. Yeah, can't I say
- 39:15Speaker 1: this though, I mean, look, that is what it is. Yeah. Look,
- 39:20Speaker 1: you gotta spend money when you're dating, you do. Yes,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you know, every date can't be a Netflix and chill.
- 39:26Speaker 1: This ain't going with everybody. Come on, man, I'm very ambitious.
- 39:31Speaker 1: You got to set your wine and dyne money to
- 39:34Speaker 1: the side and get to wining and get you dyne. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 1: you know, it ain't got to be that much sometimes, man, y'all.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Just hey, baby, let me pick you up. I'm gonna
- 39:43Speaker 1: do a little picnic. Get you sell some chicken. Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 1: and just gone somewhere, spread a tablecloth out and have
- 39:49Speaker 1: a picnic. Man, women would love that girl he threw
- 39:53Speaker 1: a picnic. What does the least amount of money you've
- 39:56Speaker 1: gone out on a date with churches about fi five dollars? Yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: you've gone out on a date date with five dollars.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I met a girl one night in a club and
- 40:09Speaker 1: I had like eight dollars. Denny's was crossed the street
- 40:12Speaker 1: from Spats. We went to Denny's. The grand slam was
- 40:15Speaker 1: dollars ninety nine. Who would I let her eat the
- 40:19Speaker 1: dollars ninety nine? I had a greal cheese sandwich and
- 40:23Speaker 1: a whole lot of water. We'll have more of a
- 40:27Speaker 1: d Harvey Morning show. Yeah, right after this. You're listening show?
- 40:33Speaker 1: All right. Yahoo is reporting, guys, a new pole that
- 40:36Speaker 1: finds fifty nine percent of couples say that they suspected
- 40:42Speaker 1: their partner of cheating. If they suspected them, they would
- 40:45Speaker 1: discuss the matter with them rather than jumping to conclusions.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that again for the lates. Okay, fifty
- 40:53Speaker 1: nine percent of couples say that if they suspected their
- 40:55Speaker 1: partner of cheating, they would discuss the matter with them
- 40:59Speaker 1: rather than jump been too conclusions. Okay, cool, Let me
- 41:02Speaker 1: ask you a questions, Shirley and Callum, No, let me
- 41:05Speaker 1: ask you a question. Just listen to this question. If
- 41:10Speaker 1: you suspected your husband of cheating and it was not
- 41:16Speaker 1: on the internet, nobody knew, none of your co workers,
- 41:20Speaker 1: it was not It wasn't made public. If you suspected
- 41:24Speaker 1: your husband of cheating, would you bring it up calmly?
- 41:28Speaker 1: Would you bring it up with anger? How would you
- 41:31Speaker 1: do it? Probably? All of the above for me, without
- 41:35Speaker 1: the calm though you already nowhere. I'm coming bigger all
- 41:42Speaker 1: of that, All of the above for me, without the calm. Anger.
- 41:48Speaker 1: If I suspected that not yet? No, Well, I mean,
- 41:51Speaker 1: if you had suspicions, you ain't have no proof. You ain't,
- 41:55Speaker 1: you ain't heard nothing, You ain't got no pictures, ain't no,
- 41:59Speaker 1: ain't on internet, and none of that. But Steve, you
- 42:02Speaker 1: know we have intuition. You know we have intuition. Disappointing
- 42:08Speaker 1: to you, mister Harvey, I don't know. I'm just trying
- 42:11Speaker 1: to see what y'all would do. I don't really And
- 42:15Speaker 1: and the word discussion I have a problem with. There
- 42:18Speaker 1: will be no discussion. Well all, you gonna just find
- 42:21Speaker 1: out on your own first, like little c s I,
- 42:24Speaker 1: And let me ask you a question. Suppose you discovered
- 42:29Speaker 1: that you were wrong about him and that he wasn't cheating.
- 42:35Speaker 1: What happens at that point, Oh, then I'm apologizing and
- 42:38Speaker 1: begging to his forgiveness, begging for his forgiveness and threatening
- 42:42Speaker 1: him he'd better not do it. You see what happens.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yet God in his heart, you gotta do that. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: you apologize for your wrongdoingly, you know, make it up
- 42:56Speaker 1: to him. You know all of that. Wow, that's a man.

- 43:14Speaker 1: I don't like talking to y'all. Were you expecting something else?
- 43:19Speaker 1: I don't know what I expected, but that wasn't it.
- 43:22Speaker 1: You've obviously been through this before. I'll tell you what
- 43:27Speaker 1: I found out. Though I'm fired out, I ain't fired
- 43:30Speaker 1: up to have a discussion. Once they find out, I'll

- 44:15Speaker 1: you're not fine, and I'm not hugging. But listen to me.
- 44:19Speaker 1: If you're not fine, then by a lone ship, what
- 44:24Speaker 1: you think that is? Why didn't do that to him?
- 44:29Speaker 1: I don't know why tell me to keep thinking he
- 44:31Speaker 1: cute but you're not cute. I didn't say I was cute.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying I'm not. Listen to me. Listen to me.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You look strang I'm decent. I don't look strang man.
- 44:44Speaker 1: You do not looks great. Trying to get a mirror
- 44:56Speaker 1: and look at yourself from the side, you're strange. I'm
- 45:01Speaker 1: not strange. I'm tell me you are. You look strange.
- 45:04Speaker 1: All everybody, all the men in our family, we're strange
- 45:07Speaker 1: looking from the side. Look't have phone with the time
- 45:10Speaker 1: and when you accept it, tell me that he's never
- 45:13Speaker 1: going to accept that. You guys know that I'm not
- 45:16Speaker 1: I'm not doing it all right, we're speaking of you're
- 45:22Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 45:26Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after it's
- 45:28Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. But right now it is time for
- 45:31Speaker 1: the Nephew, the King of Pranks, with today's prank phone call.
- 45:34Speaker 1: What you got, neph You ain't married? Huh you ain't married? An,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I'm just like everyone ain't married. Watch me work running cat. Hello. Hello,
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah, how are you doing? Brian?
- 45:53Speaker 1: My name is Daniel. Wanted to give you a call today?
- 45:57Speaker 1: You got a minute? Yeah, okay, listen, Um you're you're Brian? Um, Brian? Right?
- 46:03Speaker 1: You're married to uh to Alfhia Yeah? Hello hello yeah
- 46:08Speaker 1: yeah yeah, that doesn't mean that's my wife's Yeah, okay,
- 46:12Speaker 1: got a question for you. Hello. You guys been married
- 46:15Speaker 1: going on nine years now, we've been married? Now, who
- 46:18Speaker 1: is this? My name is Daniel? Were you um? Were
- 46:22Speaker 1: you guys married a Greater New Missionary Baptist Church in
- 46:27Speaker 1: the Sea? Yeah, yeah, yep, yep, that's the name of
- 46:30Speaker 1: that church. Yeah, great, bout nine years? Yeah that's right.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Why what's going on? What's asking me all these questions? Fuck? Okay,
- 46:37Speaker 1: do you remember the minister that officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah? No,
- 46:43Speaker 1: uh right, yeah, okay, I got the right person. I
- 46:47Speaker 1: wanted to make sure I had the right person, Brian.
- 46:50Speaker 1: So I'm I'm sorry if if it seemed a little
- 46:52Speaker 1: weird to you. Here's here's what's going on. We've just
- 46:56Speaker 1: come up with a new discovery a lot of information
- 46:59Speaker 1: that Reverend none of his credentials are true. Everything is false.
- 47:05Speaker 1: He's not a minister at all, he never was a minister,
- 47:09Speaker 1: and every single wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically
- 47:15Speaker 1: null and void. So and I hate to be the
- 47:19Speaker 1: bearer of bad news, but you and Alphea, even though
- 47:23Speaker 1: you think you've been married for nine years, you guys
- 47:25Speaker 1: are not married. No no, no no, no, no, no. You
- 47:29Speaker 1: gotta have the wrong person, because then then we got
- 47:32Speaker 1: we got married by nine years ago. And what I'm
- 47:39Speaker 1: telling you is he he never was ordained. He's never
- 47:43Speaker 1: been an ordained minister. He's not a minister at all.
- 47:46Speaker 1: So when he performed this ceremony, you're a wedding ceremony,
- 47:50Speaker 1: he had no right to be doing that. You guys
- 47:52Speaker 1: are not are not married. You know, you guys have
- 47:55Speaker 1: been living in sin for nine years. Hold on, hold,
- 47:58Speaker 1: hold on that. Let me tell you something. I ain't
- 48:00Speaker 1: been living no man, my wife we have been married
- 48:03Speaker 1: for nine years. And that man he's a preacher. I'm
- 48:06Speaker 1: telling he's a preacher. I hear, I'm preach land Funday, Sir.
- 48:09Speaker 1: As of today, he has no right to be in
- 48:12Speaker 1: anybody's pulpit. He has no right to be officiating, whether
- 48:15Speaker 1: it's weddings or funerals, no matter what it is, christenings
- 48:19Speaker 1: for children. He's not allowed to do that. And we
- 48:21Speaker 1: have officially stopped him from doing anything serving under as
- 48:27Speaker 1: being a pastor or a minister. We have stopped that.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But what I want you to know is that you
- 48:32Speaker 1: have been living in sin and you don't you We
- 48:36Speaker 1: want to try and get you guys married as soon
- 48:38Speaker 1: as possible, so you're not living in sin. Oh no, doc,
- 48:41Speaker 1: I have been living in those sins. I have been
- 48:44Speaker 1: married for nine years. This woman ship been taking care
- 48:47Speaker 1: of me and my kids for the past Wait. Wait,
- 48:50Speaker 1: wait a minute, way, you guys have children. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:53Speaker 1: we have two two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay, then
- 48:56Speaker 1: those kids are bastard stafford on let me tell you something.
- 49:00Speaker 1: My kids ain't no baskets. What about your kids? Your
- 49:02Speaker 1: kids on basketts? No, sir, my kids, my kids were
- 49:05Speaker 1: born in wedlock. Your kids have been born out wedlocks.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm telling you that man did my service, and he
- 49:13Speaker 1: is a preacher. He's a man after God's old heart himself.
- 49:17Speaker 1: He hasn't done everything that he come for me and
- 49:19Speaker 1: my family. He is a preacher. So I know it's
- 49:23Speaker 1: hard for you to to to swallow the truth, but
- 49:26Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I need you to
- 49:27Speaker 1: be able to tell out Fiel that you guys are
- 49:29Speaker 1: not married and not as of right now. Now no, okay, Solder. Now,
- 49:35Speaker 1: back in the olden days, but before all these all
- 49:38Speaker 1: these colleges and stuff came came about, you telling me
- 49:41Speaker 1: that they're men baking old days, that they weren't no preachers,
- 49:44Speaker 1: that they wasn't meant men after the cloth? Is that
- 49:47Speaker 1: what you're saying to me? What are you? What are you?
- 49:50Speaker 1: What are you? What are you getting at? Sir? What
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is back in the older days,
- 49:53Speaker 1: baking the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all these
- 49:56Speaker 1: colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these new
- 49:58Speaker 1: preachers got these days. That man now he was from
- 50:01Speaker 1: back then, and God called them and that's what they
- 50:04Speaker 1: went on too. And all the people that they married
- 50:07Speaker 1: back then they did the same thing today. You don't
- 50:10Speaker 1: need know the greed to say that you're a preacher.
- 50:12Speaker 1: You don't need no life to say you're a preacher.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Me and my wife will been maried for nine years.
- 50:16Speaker 1: My kids have been born in wedlock. We were married,
- 50:20Speaker 1: we were mad for my friends and family day was
- 50:23Speaker 1: all there, sir. The bottom line is that that you
- 50:26Speaker 1: have been living in sin because you have not been
- 50:29Speaker 1: married with your wife for the last nine years. And
- 50:31Speaker 1: your kids, I hate to say it, your kids are bastards.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Now on. Now I've told you, don't say nothing else
- 50:38Speaker 1: about my kids said, I ain't no custom, But don't
- 50:40Speaker 1: push me. My kids ain't no bassors. You understand me,
- 50:44Speaker 1: You don't get mad, sir. I'm trying to give you
- 50:46Speaker 1: the truth and try to get you in here and
- 50:48Speaker 1: get you married so you will not be living in
- 50:49Speaker 1: sin any more than what you are. I'm living in
- 50:52Speaker 1: no sins. Look now, you don't make me whoop your ass.
- 50:57Speaker 1: You understand man, My wife we have been married for
- 51:00Speaker 1: nine years. Don't shoot up here called me talking about
- 51:03Speaker 1: the way. Ain't man that that man ain't gonna feature
- 51:05Speaker 1: you understand? I get out of my phone. You that's
- 51:09Speaker 1: my life. Those are my kids. They have been born
- 51:12Speaker 1: in red lits. Do you understand, sir? Sir? I just
- 51:15Speaker 1: wanted to call and give you the information so that
- 51:17Speaker 1: you could probably stop living in sin. That's all I
- 51:19Speaker 1: wanted to do. I ain't living an none sin. That's
- 51:21Speaker 1: what I just told you. You ain't hitting me. I
- 51:23Speaker 1: ain't living a no sin. Maybe anyone that's living up
- 51:26Speaker 1: some sin. Now, you ain't got nothing else said to
- 51:28Speaker 1: me that man if Nevers nine years ago, they get
- 51:31Speaker 1: your ass on my phone, Sir, sir, So I have
- 51:34Speaker 1: one more thing, one more thing I'd like to say.
- 51:36Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing else to say to me. You
- 51:39Speaker 1: ain't get though ass off my dam's phone? Now, do
- 51:42Speaker 1: you understand me? I ain't got time for this publicly, sir?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing? What you gotta say
- 51:47Speaker 1: on me? Now? So? I just wanted to let you
- 51:49Speaker 1: know that this is nephew tim Me from the Steve
- 51:51Speaker 1: Harpy Morning Show. Your wife and field got me to
- 51:54Speaker 1: break phone call you oh man, oh lordest dot yeah

- 54:03Speaker 1: the paper. Yeah all right, Well, we could be reading
- 54:08Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, like we're gonna read
- 54:10Speaker 1: this one today. Come on there, buckle up, hold on tight.
- 54:13Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here. It is the Strong
- 54:15Speaker 1: Barry letter. Subject he wants me but not the children,
- 54:20Speaker 1: hear Stephen Shirley. I am a forty nine year old
- 54:23Speaker 1: female married to a forty nine year old man. We
- 54:26Speaker 1: have five children and five grandchildren. Here is the problem.
- 54:30Speaker 1: My current husband, He says, I have I have five
- 54:34Speaker 1: children and five grandchildren. Okay, oh, okay, Here is the problem.
- 54:41Speaker 1: My current husband is not the father of my children.
- 54:44Speaker 1: I married this man when my children were young, so
- 54:47Speaker 1: he's been in their lives for a very long time.
- 54:50Speaker 1: My youngest son just graduated from high school and we'll
- 54:53Speaker 1: be going away for college. So now my husband thinks
- 54:56Speaker 1: that we are done raising children and from now on
- 54:59Speaker 1: it will be us, the two of us. He has
- 55:01Speaker 1: said that that we don't have to worry about the
- 55:04Speaker 1: kids anymore because they are all grown and have their
- 55:06Speaker 1: own lives. So am I not supposed to? So am
- 55:10Speaker 1: I not supposed to be involved with my children since
- 55:13Speaker 1: they are no longer living at home. My children range
- 55:16Speaker 1: from ages thirty two to eighteen years old, and all
- 55:19Speaker 1: five of them live in different states. I want to
- 55:21Speaker 1: see them and my grandkids as often as I can.
- 55:24Speaker 1: In fact, I'd like to move closer to them. My
- 55:27Speaker 1: husband does not want anything to do with them, period.
- 55:31Speaker 1: He doesn't want to visit them, and he doesn't want
- 55:33Speaker 1: them to visit us. He said that they don't need
- 55:36Speaker 1: to come for the holiday. What the hell? He really
- 55:41Speaker 1: thinks that because they are adults I am supposed to
- 55:44Speaker 1: forget that they exist. I understand that these are our
- 55:48Speaker 1: golden years and we should be enjoying quality time together
- 55:51Speaker 1: and traveling the world, but our travels should also include
- 55:55Speaker 1: trips to see my children. If he's really serious, I
- 55:58Speaker 1: may have to spend my golden years alone. Stephen Shirley,
- 56:01Speaker 1: can you please help me? Well, your letters started up nicely,
- 56:05Speaker 1: so I'll put it like this. Your husband, I'm sure,
- 56:08Speaker 1: feels like he's done his job and it's over. These
- 56:11Speaker 1: were not his kids. He raised them anyway. He's been
- 56:13Speaker 1: in their lives since they were really young, so he's
- 56:16Speaker 1: done and not being their biological debt. Like I said,
- 56:20Speaker 1: the ties are cut. He has no connection really to them.
- 56:24Speaker 1: It seems he cut them off and his concentration is
- 56:28Speaker 1: now on you and you guys the future together. He
- 56:31Speaker 1: wants to live, he wants to live his life, you know,
- 56:34Speaker 1: and do all of those things. But now I think
- 56:37Speaker 1: that he's being very unrealistic when he says the children
- 56:40Speaker 1: he doesn't want the kids to come and see you,
- 56:42Speaker 1: or he doesn't want you to go see the kids.
- 56:44Speaker 1: How is that? I mean, really, that's a bit unrealistic,
- 56:49Speaker 1: especially if it makes you happy to see your kids.
- 56:52Speaker 1: You're his wife. He should want to see you happy
- 56:55Speaker 1: and do those things that make you happy. I mean,
- 56:57Speaker 1: it's very unrealistic to say that. He really thinks that
- 57:00Speaker 1: because they're adults, you're supposed to forget that they exist. No,
- 57:04Speaker 1: that's not the issue, and he knows that's not the issue.
- 57:08Speaker 1: They are grown and they are living their own lives.
- 57:11Speaker 1: That part is definitely true. But you guys got to
- 57:13Speaker 1: come to some kind of compromise in terms of when
- 57:17Speaker 1: you see the kids and when you go see the kids,
- 57:19Speaker 1: even if you just go by yourself, you have to
- 57:21Speaker 1: see your kids. These are your kids, Steve, you're a parent.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Now he wants me, but not the children. Okay, that
- 57:34Speaker 1: I can relate to. I don't want mine either, though, God,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and on any day between the seven of them, you
- 57:44Speaker 1: can come give folks just like that. So that much
- 57:49Speaker 1: I understand. But we are parents. You're forty nine, your
- 57:54Speaker 1: man's forty nine. You got five children and five grandkids.
- 58:00Speaker 1: He's not the father of the kids. Your youngest son
- 58:03Speaker 1: just graduated high school going away to college. So now
- 58:05Speaker 1: your husband think that we've done raising children and from
- 58:09Speaker 1: now on there to just be the two of us.
- 58:11Speaker 1: He has says that we don't have to worry about
- 58:13Speaker 1: the kids no more because they all grown and have
- 58:16Speaker 1: their own lives. Okay, are you kidding me? You really
- 58:21Speaker 1: think that's how it goes? Do you know that you
- 58:23Speaker 1: are a parent for life, for life. You may not
- 58:29Speaker 1: be a husband or a wife for life, but once
- 58:32Speaker 1: you become a parent, you're a parent for life. Now,
- 58:36Speaker 1: there are some good ones out there and they are
- 58:37Speaker 1: some bad ones out there. I got it, you, sir,
- 58:41Speaker 1: are about to turn into a bad one because you
- 58:43Speaker 1: don't get it. You are in your goal and years.
- 58:46Speaker 1: You said that late in the letter. Your kids are
- 58:48Speaker 1: from thirty two to eighteen. All of them live in
- 58:50Speaker 1: different states, and you want to see your kids and
- 58:53Speaker 1: your grandkids. Matter of fact, you want to move closer
- 58:57Speaker 1: to him. Your husband don't want nothing to do with them, pig.
- 59:02Speaker 1: He doesn't want to visit them, and he doesn't want
- 59:05Speaker 1: them to visit us. He says, they don't need to
- 59:08Speaker 1: come for the holiday. That's what the lady type don't
- 59:15Speaker 1: need to come for the holidays. What the hell? What
- 59:17Speaker 1: the hell is right? Come on, man, are you for real? Bro?
- 59:24Speaker 1: You're gonna just act like you never met these people
- 59:28Speaker 1: like you. You, they meant nothing. He going to college.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I said, he gotta come home. He's not ready to
- 59:37Speaker 1: live on his own. And I got that. The kids
- 59:40Speaker 1: range from thirty two to eighteen. Man, do you know
- 59:43Speaker 1: how much advice they need? So how much help they need?
- 59:46Speaker 1: Financial support they need? Come on, man, that ain't how
- 59:50Speaker 1: this work. Man, you crazy? And he don't want them
- 59:54Speaker 1: to visit. He don't want them to come for the holidays.
- 59:56Speaker 1: What the hell he thinks that because they are adults,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I'm supposed to forget the day exist. That's the craziest
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: part of them. You gotta be nuts. It doesn't work
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: that way. It's crazy for you to think that. Come on, man,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I understand that these are our golden years. You ain't
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: be forty nine hell golden. But if that's how you
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: want to look at it, okay, cool, and we should
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: be enjoying quality time together and traveling the world. Plans
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: should also include trips to see my children. If he's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: really serious, I may help spend my golden years alone.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: We will be back in what you say, Steve, I
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: will all right. We will be back at twenty three
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: after with part two of Steve's response, too, he wants
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: me but not the children. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Here we are part two of today's
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. The subject he wants me but not the children. Wow. Well,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the youngest one and graduated. The boy is five kids,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: none of them he is now he going while they graduated.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: They're gone. We threw with them. They out. He's saying, No,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: they have their own lives. They're adults. They should be
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: able to make it on their all. I want to
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: see my grandkids as offer I can. It's what the
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: woman says. In fact, I want to move closer to him.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: My husband doesn't want anything to do with them, period.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: He don't want to visit them. He don't want them
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to visit us. He said they don't need to come
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: for the holiday to him, and ladies said what to him, No,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: we don't come for the holidays. What is Christmas about? Exactly?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: He really thinks that because they're adults, I'm supposed to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: forget they exist. I understand that these are golden years
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and we should be enjoying quality time together and traveling
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the world. But I traveled playing to the call trips
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: to see my children. He's really serious. I may have
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: to spend my golden years along Stephen Sherley, Can you
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: please help me? He wants to check out. In essence,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: he wants to check out. He wants to say that
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I've done my duty. I raised these kids to the
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: best of my ability. I've contributed, and now they're gone.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: That's it. I'm chilling. I wish that was the case.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: But honey, why don't you want to see the kids?
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I mean, did something happened? We've already seen the kids. Well, yeah,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: you've seen them since they were young. I mean, and
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: they live their own lives now. I saw all I
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: needed to see when they was here. I'm tired. I've
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: been working, paying bill, putting kid to college, and were
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: covering up dream I bought that Born than Carbon machine
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: all that, and honey, we appreciated so much. But these
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: are my kids. I have to see them on the holidays.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: That's what the holidays are. Four families. Holidays, Yes, family
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: like Thanksgiving, like Christmas, Like Thanksgiving like Christmas. We ain't
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: going down now. I've already made arrangements for them to
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: come here. They fend here here to the house. I'm
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you know, getting the big Christmas tree and everything. They're
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: just got ready to We just got rid of the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: damn boy. And what the hell you're inviting them back for?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: They don't think we won't them. Well, he has to
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: have somewhere to go when he's out of school for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Christmas break school, aren't we? He downed that one of
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: the men in National school. But he I want him
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to come home. I missed them. I carried them for
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: nine months. This is my blood. See, you raised and
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the kids to be none but chumps right here. He's
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a great kid. He's in college now, great kid. Were
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: let him feed for silf gond make it. You know
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: he ain't gonna get a job. Wow, I don't understand.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I mean, you were so good with them when they
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: were young and helping me raise them. Now all of
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: a sudden, it's like, who are there? I don't know?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: You just outing the day? What do you mean you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: were counting the day till they got out this house?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: But you were so good. They call you daddy, You're
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: not even there. She never gonna call me daddy called.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: They can't find that. Well, you know, I just wanted
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to let you know that I really appreciate that you
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: were there for me, there for my kids. I know
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: you do. Baby, I appreciate now I won't you be
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: here for me? Well, I am here for you, but
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I'm also all you all the time. All that the
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: mom days over with? No, the mom days are never
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: over with. They is they don't. No, they're not they No,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: they're not called. You keep inviting them back leaving where
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: they had. Girls. These are my kids and this is
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: my house too. They're coming home for the holidays. Okay,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I put my foot down. Get here. Were you fighting
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: them back over for the holidays? It's being here. We
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna we ain't gonna be able to put a
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: tree up. We're gonna put a tree up right over there, Bud,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: When are you you put a tree up over there?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: And then all these people coming to the house, we
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: will be decorated. It's just five kids and five grandkids
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and there's about ten people. Look at the little room. Well,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: then maybe we need a bigger house because I'm not
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: getting rid of my kids. Bigger house. Yes, it's a
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: bigger house, girl, the girl, we can finally out all
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the people out of here here. We need a bigger house.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: It's just for a few days during the holiday's Honey,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: we don't want to sing Christmas Carol? Yeah, no, matter
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: of fact, I won't just how stage saying side so
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: they they already outgrowed it. And who's gonna we need
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: a bigger house? Who's gonna help me cook? That's what
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: we love doing that, me and the girls cooking together well,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: preparing Christmas dinner and Thanksgiving dinner. Huh, you ain't help.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: We're gonna stop your damn Joe, the woman that you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: don't try to slide in. If you can cook, we're
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: gonna end the damn woman in the letter can cut
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: even the letter try to slide in? And who's gonna
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: help you cook? That we've been trying to find out
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: s two thousand. I don't know what the little Mexican man,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: what nest the black dude? Sr you Steve? Are you
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: still the man in the letter? Make up your mind.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I'm not man in the letter, but what you try
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to slide in with a cooking compliment by yourself and
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I don't even let you do it. The surely you
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: can't cook. Who's gonna help me cook? Anybody? I'm speaking
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: as the woman in the letter husband who hates kids now, like, no, damn,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: and why is that? What did they do to you
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: that I don't know about? Because it seems like to
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: me you were getting along fine with them because you
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: was never there. Oh, you never knew what was going
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: on behind them? Gold what are they gang up on
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: you or something? Say you're not having that one night
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and that board to eighteen year old boy. He caught
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: me on my side and he climbed up, only he
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: was choking me. Oh wow, Yes, she didn't go about honey,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: this is gonna be so much fun. Come on now
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: for a few days. No, okay, I can I can't
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: do it. Okay, I can't messle my holidays. What am
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I supposed to say when they ask me where's their dad?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Where's dad? And that you know they call you dad,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: where's daddy? What am I supposed to say? You ain't
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: gonna say nothing called they ain't gonna be in here?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: All right, We gotta go, We gotta get out of here.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Email us or Instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: letter at Steve Harvey. F emmer, you can go to
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: my girls surely coming out more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: All right, here we go with something funny. So Steve,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: now what does this? Women always beat men at arguments.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: We know this, but they do because they do things
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: that men don't do and are incapable of doing. Here's
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: some reasons that you'll never win an argument. How about
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the first one you need to understand and above all else.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: They don't forget what nothing? They don't forget a dub gone,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you let it go? She said, I forgive you, but
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: she banked all that information. Women have the biggest hard
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: drive in their brain created IBM. Ain't got nothing on
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: a woman's hard drive. Baby with sports that. Yeah, you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: can't erace their hard drive. It's locked in forever. Remember
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: your nineteen ninety eight that when I got that number
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: of your pocket, it was kind of number that your member.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: It was another You know what we do? We delete information? Right? Yeah?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Oh you bet. The men get it off our phone, computer,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: everything they don't they don't delete. Why do we do that?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: That's stupid. It's called evidence, babies. I'll tell you another
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: thing they got. They got a picture or ever, Yes,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: even if it ain't a photograph, it's a mental image.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: They got you. You know, women come off and don't
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: say here's another one, and don't say you didn't say something.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: You're right you didn't say it, but your text And
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: guess what you're dumb ass forgot here? It is right here,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I got it. I saved you. Here's another reason women
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: always win it, because women don't care if you answer
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: or pick up their phone. They don't. They don't know.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: They don't. You know why because all you gonna find
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: it's pictures of shoes, recipes, baby pictures and hand styles.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: You're right with me, exact no ever did on the
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: damn no, no, ain't look at it three seven six five.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I don't have any Here's another reason you can't win
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: an argument because they can see who you call it
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: on your phone from a mile away. They can. I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: don't damn what kind of protective screen you got on there?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: The black one that you can't see from the side,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: So who is she scary? Here's another reason you can't remember.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: You can't win an argument why because they remember exact dates,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: exact dates, with the details with your head, what you
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: was eating, what car you was in, ye, where you
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: was sitting, breathe it out Jay breathe it out. Another
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: reason you can't win an argument with a woman. You're
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: ready without even setting it up. They laughed for each
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: of time. They don't have to caller? Where was I yesterday?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: At my house? Immediately watching we have to we're watching
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the Atlanta Housewise, I gotta call Jay Hunk. I was
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: with you and I got to say something. And here's
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: the other reason you can't win, because they have one
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: put down that no man has ever been able to top.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Here is to put down they use. Stop acting like
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: some little old girl, except they don't use girl. Does
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: she just called me after that? You're shaking to the car.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: You can't come back like right now, you just stuck
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: on that. I'm acting like some little old girls. But
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: they don't say girls. But they don't say girls. Now
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: you open here. All you hear that? We went again
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: that argument. You ain't got no more points. Actually you
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: was winning the argue. We know how to shut it down. Wow, man, Yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: because they don't come back, You got no comeback. But
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: let me tell you something, ladies, Yes, you should never
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: say that to your man. I've never because because words
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: cut really deep, and once you cut a man so
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: deep how do you fix that? And I know women
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: who have used that on their man a lot, and
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you it's hard to come back for that,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: because men I come back for that is well okay,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I know. Somebody don't think I'm
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: the little girl, yeah, because what that's that's the ultimate
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: insult for man. You're just a little old girl. Man
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: can't come back from that. And when you do that
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to a man, you damage when you say tom ouch, yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: that one hurt, right, Just how your woman really feel
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: about you. What's bad is when you see a guy
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: get done in public like oh, I don't when you
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: see his lady do that to women public like that
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: hurt women see that women women don't like. Yeah, women
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: don't like to see a woman belittling her man in public.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: We don't. I'm seeing it. You ain't gonna leave me,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I've seen it. Yeah, you acting a little all right? Hello,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: you're listening show. Well, it's time for something funny and Jay,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: this is about stuff you say to your neighbors under

- 1:24:47Speaker 1: to tell me that the redness of it you talk
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: about to find it, they're like an infection to me, though,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that look like no fall down. That so you're trying
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to tell me you fell on one eye and that's
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: why that one's black. You fell on but both eyes
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: is even. So I don't understand. I ain't nothing hurt,

- 1:25:17Speaker 1: like your phone. So let me get this right, all right?
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: You fail? Then all your teeth fell out all I'm done,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: last one, every last fell out your mouth. You one
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: way in the back, all the way in the back.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Then you frown. Put them put all them teeth in
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: a zip block. Bad all right, well, thank you guys.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: That is comedy roulette for today. We'll be back with

- 1:26:18Speaker 1: wall is a scratch on your hand? You better say it?
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: That mean now for a scratch on that wall. Scratch
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: on yeah, yeah, scratch on that wall. That means you
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: really want to scratch on you behind If you scratch
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: that wall, play how about it. I don't know if
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: it could be done, but I damn never got beat
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: to what I thought it was gonna come up. I
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: will beat all all the black hawk you you said
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: that I will be all the black don't know you
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: can go down that You standing in that refrigerator dough
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: like you bought. So what's I got it? What's the
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: time living on that? No, you gotta get in and
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: get out. I like it. Somebody needs to tell me
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: why all these lights is on. I need to know
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: that that's my husband. Yeah, I need to know who
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: all these lights is on. Yeah, I love it. We're
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: becoming our parents. I'm tired called Julian. Yeah, okay. This
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: this is dedicated to Carl. This is Pat Bolton's love mama. Huh.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: If you can hum me, you can hear me. Man
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: about to make me cry. If you can, you can't
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: hear me. Oh, this is the mama was a heavy,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: little heavy, you know heavy. I'm gonna stock aside. So
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: this is her pattern. Don't make me run after you,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: and she couldn't run anyway, but don't make me run
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: after you. You know you didn't want that. Let me
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: gonna walk back and take this because it ain't gonna
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: be nice. Make a run. This one is dedicated to
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Shirley's mama, Miss Helen. Sit down. Everyone has seen you
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: and you do it too. You do everybody putting on
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: a little shot that get out of this room. Looking
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: in my mouth when I talk, because it ain't nobody
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: talking to you. This is this is grouble folk. Yes, Ja, Yes,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: we are becoming our parent Steed looking down my throat
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: wide talking what you got Steve, keep on keep on
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: acting cute see how cute your daddy thank you to
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: get home from work. Who slick, get in here, slick
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: the cut out. All is cute? Okay, your mama said yeah,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: and your daddy hit home, right Steve coming up closing remarks,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: last break of the day, take us home with something good.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: Closing remarks, Well, let's go. I think I should keep
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: it on the upswing for everybody again. I want to
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: just talk to you about what it really takes to
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: make it, what it really takes to make it. Now. Look,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I can, oh, you know, sit here and tell you
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff that you know, sound like I'm
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: really into public speaking, and I know all of what
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: I'm talking about, and all is here in YadA, YadA YadA.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, what people really
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: want is real simple things that they can do to
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: make it. People want to be successful, man, they really do.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: They don't They don't want to not know what it's
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: like to be happy, to be free, to be successful.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: They want a simpler how should I put this? They
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: want somebody to explain it to them and simplify it.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to say, well, guess what, I
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: don't know if I'm the person that's qualified to make
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: it the simplest. But let me tell you what I do. Though,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: If you want to be happy in this life, if
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: you want to be successful, you're gonna have to develop
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: a couple of things. Now here's the thing that I
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: want you to understand. Most people have what it takes
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: to be successful, but if it does not start with
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: the belief that you can be successful, you can never
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: bring out the qualities in you of success. Listen to
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: me again. Everyone has it in them to be successful,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: but if you don't bring them out, and that starts
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: with the belief. If you don't have the belief that
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: you can be somebody, that you're worthy, that you're qualified,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: that you're capable. If you don't start with that basic belief,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: it can never happen. So first things first, in order
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: to be successful and happy in this world at whatever
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: level you're talking about, happiness, success is for you, it
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: has to start with the belief that it is for you.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: I believe that I should be successful. I believe that
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: God wants me to be prosperous. I believe that he
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: comes to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: But you've got to develop some things, man, And the
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: way to develop them is start with the belief and
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: hang on to the belief so strong that these attributes
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: develop themselves. Resilience. If you believe hard enough that you
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: can be successful, that you can be happy, it will
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: automatically start to cultivate this thing that's in all of us.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: It's called resilience. All y'all got it. Everybody got it.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: You are resilient people, All of us are resilient. Hell,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: if you can survive the projects, you resilient. If you
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: can survive public schools, you resili If you can survive
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: walking through gang neighborhoods because you still want education, you
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: resili If you manage to get yourself a high school
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: diploma or a GED, you are resilient. And the more
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: belief you have, the more of these attributes you can develop.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: You got to be tough. You know how you get tough.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: You got to believe that you tough. You got to
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: believe that you can hang in now when all is
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: against you. That's how you get tough. You get tough
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: because you keep facing the test and you keep passing them.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: But all of that, you came past the tests unless
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: you believe you can. Y'all, don't hear me. All of
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: you have an inner strength. Listen to me, man, Don't
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: you know even a homeless person has an inner strength.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: What is it that gets a person to live under
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: bridge or live in a refrigerator box or live in
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: some of these homeless encountments. Do you know what really
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: makes them live there? Because they have an inner strength.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: It's still some fiber of them that's telling them to
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: hold on. Because if it wasn't, everybody would just get
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: rid of the self. Everybody would end it. But you
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: know why people don't end it because you really do
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: have an inner strength. It takes something to be homeless.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Everybody can make a mistake, man, and wind yourself up
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: in a situation. For homeless people have an inner strength.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: They have a toughness. It's tough being homeless, man. They
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: have a resilience because for some reason they just won't
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: give up. And even though we judge them when we're
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: driving by, look at them sitting on that corner just
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: asking for money. They didn't gave up. No, no, it's
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: another form of giving up. But I'm telling you, even
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: in your darkest moments and your lowest points in your life,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: you have resilience, toughness, inner strength. I got news for you.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: It can help develop your faith because if you believe
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: hard enough. The Bible says that faith is a substance
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: of things hope. For that simply means that when how
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: you develop faith, it's really the essence of it's is hope.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Do you remember when you was looking you hope you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: got a bike for Christmas and you went out there
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: one year to Christmas and the bike was under the tree.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: You remember when you used to hope you graduate from
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: high school? You mess around and got a diploma. Did
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: you remember hoping one day you get a job and
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: now you're working. Faith is a substance of things hopeful.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: But if you keep hoping hard enough and believe that
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: something can happen eventually, that hope turns into faith. You
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: got to have dreams and visions so big that it
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: dwarfs all your fears. This is how you make it.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: I hope you got what I'm saying today. All right,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: drop it, baby, drop it, have a break. Thank you.
