The ritual s in your church are only as good as a heart performing them. It's not the ritual or the liturgical presentation that put you close to God. It's your personal relationship about Jesus and your testimony of the cross. Sharing Jesus who is your faith and savior and not your faith in yourself and the things that he's done. There is a difference and you must if you choose come in the narrow way. We are witnesses to the cross and that's what gets people saved.
