- 2:02Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:05Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:08Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, man, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Trying to do something with it too, man. Uh you know, um,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I was having a conversation the other day with a
- 2:21Speaker 1: young person and they were telling me how they felt
- 2:25Speaker 1: that their life was stuck, that their life was in
- 2:27Speaker 1: a rut, that they didn't know what to do next.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And one of the things that was causing them this
- 2:37Speaker 1: sadness or this depression. I mean, they really really into
- 2:40Speaker 1: something right now. One of the things that was causing
- 2:43Speaker 1: it was the fact that they had made a list
- 2:49Speaker 1: of things they wanted to accomplish by a certain age,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and that age they just had a birthday recently and
- 3:00Speaker 1: they were looking at the list and the list hadn't
- 3:04Speaker 1: been fulfilled, and because that list hadn't been fulfilled, they
- 3:12Speaker 1: were really really sad about it. You know. One of
- 3:17Speaker 1: the things that they had on the list was marriage, kids,
- 3:23Speaker 1: And I don't know everything else that was on the list,
- 3:25Speaker 1: but that was one of them. And because she had
- 3:28Speaker 1: reached a certain age and she wasn't married, and she
- 3:31Speaker 1: didn't have the kids, and she had just celebrated her birthday,
- 3:36Speaker 1: she's gone into this mode of sadness whereas really really
- 3:42Speaker 1: taking a toll on her. And as as I was
- 3:46Speaker 1: learning about her situation, I was thinking about it, and
- 3:52Speaker 1: I just wanted to share this with you all this morning.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That one of the things about making a list about
- 3:58Speaker 1: what you want, which I happened to be a proponent of,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I do it myself. I people have dream boards. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: have a gold sheet I have. I've been doing it
- 4:08Speaker 1: for years. It's a It's a wonderful way to set
- 4:12Speaker 1: goals and to keep it in front of you as
- 4:14Speaker 1: a constant reminder. And I always go over this goal
- 4:17Speaker 1: list every day, you know, I mean I go of
- 4:19Speaker 1: it all the time, every day. Sometimes I miss a
- 4:23Speaker 1: day here and there, but mostly every day I pulled
- 4:25Speaker 1: my gold sheet out and I look at it, I
- 4:28Speaker 1: read it. So I was going to these rallies and
- 4:30Speaker 1: I was learning about, you know, people who were successful
- 4:34Speaker 1: in how they kept their mind writing possitive. And one
- 4:36Speaker 1: of the things I learned was to make these dream boards,
- 4:39Speaker 1: these lists, these gold sheets. And in making a gold sheet,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and you make the sheet according to what you want,
- 4:49Speaker 1: think about one thing when you made your gold sheet,
- 4:52Speaker 1: about what you want it? Does your goal sheet have
- 4:56Speaker 1: on it what God wants from you? Did you ask
- 5:00Speaker 1: in any of this what was His will in your life?
- 5:04Speaker 1: You know? Look, man, what we want oftentimes is not
- 5:08Speaker 1: what He wants for us. And you know, if you're
- 5:12Speaker 1: fighting against what you were created for, if you're fighting
- 5:15Speaker 1: against his will, I mean, what do you want to happen? See?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Don't be so hard on yourself when you look at
- 5:23Speaker 1: your goal sheet and you look at what you've not
- 5:25Speaker 1: become what you thought was a great idea. Don't be
- 5:28Speaker 1: so hard on yourself because you just made a minded mistake.
- 5:32Speaker 1: As do most people, we oftentimes make our goals and
- 5:35Speaker 1: set our goals up without ever considering what is it
- 5:38Speaker 1: that God wants from us. We keep talking about what
- 5:41Speaker 1: we want without ever finding out and knowing what it
- 5:44Speaker 1: is God wants for us. Well, guess what, man, Maybe
- 5:48Speaker 1: you're fighting against the grain. Maybe you're just a salmon
- 5:50Speaker 1: heading upstream. That's a tough fight upstream. Not all salmons
- 5:54Speaker 1: get up to the spawning grounds, you know. Some of
- 5:57Speaker 1: them don't make it upstream, you know. But all of them,
- 6:00Speaker 1: nearly all of them, except the ones that's killed by pray.
- 6:03Speaker 1: When they're spawned, they go out to the ocean. That's cool,
- 6:05Speaker 1: because you're going because you're going with the grain. You're
- 6:08Speaker 1: going downstream, you're going with the flow. That's but when
- 6:12Speaker 1: it's time to go against the grain, it's tough. And
- 6:15Speaker 1: a lot of us have just been going against the
- 6:17Speaker 1: grain for all of these years. But you know what, listen, man,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I did it. I know a lot of people who
- 6:23Speaker 1: did it. Very few people get it right from the
- 6:27Speaker 1: very beginning. Man, you got to stumble through life sometimes
- 6:30Speaker 1: sometimes you got to fall through life. You gotta make
- 6:33Speaker 1: a lot of mistakes, man, But these mistakes are not failures.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You know, when you fail at something, don't look at
- 6:39Speaker 1: it as a failure. Don't look at yourself as a
- 6:41Speaker 1: failure because you're thirty and you and your goals ain't
- 6:44Speaker 1: reach that you had on your list. That was your list.
- 6:47Speaker 1: What about the things that's going right. Stop looking at
- 6:50Speaker 1: what you're not, take some time out and thank God
- 6:53Speaker 1: for what you are. How about the fact that you
- 6:56Speaker 1: keep waking up to be thirty. You know you get
- 6:58Speaker 1: depressed about these birthdays. You really want to throw yourself
- 7:01Speaker 1: in some depression. Miss a birthday, You really got a problem.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Now look at where you are. You keep reaching birthdays.
- 7:09Speaker 1: That's a glorious blessing. You keep waking up. You got
- 7:12Speaker 1: your health, You've accomplished something. Something on your list is done.
- 7:16Speaker 1: People spend too much time on the negative side, and
- 7:19Speaker 1: you're just throwing yourself into depression. So what you want
- 7:22Speaker 1: to be married by a certain age and you wanted
- 7:24Speaker 1: to have kids, Okay, cool, you could have done all
- 7:27Speaker 1: that with the wrong person. There's a blessing in not
- 7:30Speaker 1: being married to the wrong person. There's a blessing in
- 7:33Speaker 1: not having kids and nobody to help you raise it.
- 7:35Speaker 1: There's a blessing in that man. You're talking to somebody
- 7:38Speaker 1: who can tell it to you. You can marry the
- 7:40Speaker 1: wrong person if you want to I'm telling you you're
- 7:43Speaker 1: gonna be up in some mess you can't count on.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So instead of being angry because you're not married, you
- 7:49Speaker 1: don't have kids, why don't you thank God demand Maybe
- 7:51Speaker 1: he spared you from some misery here. Maybe you could
- 7:54Speaker 1: have married the wrong person. Maybe you have kids and
- 7:56Speaker 1: you're not really ready to be a mother or a father.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You gotta look at the side, man, Quit looking at
- 8:01Speaker 1: what you don't have. Take some time to thank God
- 8:04Speaker 1: for what you do have. When you do that, you
- 8:07Speaker 1: make more room for blessings to flow into your life.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm not saying how God thinks, because I really don't know,
- 8:13Speaker 1: but I'm telling you, if a person comes to me
- 8:17Speaker 1: and I always give a person something and they never
- 8:20Speaker 1: appear grateful, or they never say thank you, please, no,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you can quit coming to me now. I don't know
- 8:27Speaker 1: that's how God works because I've gone back to him
- 8:30Speaker 1: several times without being grateful of thanking him, and he's
- 8:33Speaker 1: feeling my basket up again. So I really think he's
- 8:37Speaker 1: not like that. But I can't make the call for sure.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But I think at one point in time, me, just
- 8:43Speaker 1: just me talking, i'd be a little ticked off at
- 8:46Speaker 1: somebody who was always taking, taking, taking, and never showing
- 8:50Speaker 1: any gratitude. At one point in time, I would just
- 8:53Speaker 1: stop the flow of the take. You know, you just
- 8:56Speaker 1: you can't take no more from me. That's what I
- 8:58Speaker 1: would do. Now. I'm calling it like that because I
- 9:01Speaker 1: ain't him, but I know he's merciful. He's full of
- 9:04Speaker 1: goodness and here and there, and he'll forgive you again.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And thank God he does that because he's shown enough
- 9:09Speaker 1: done it for me. But wow, man, take some time
- 9:12Speaker 1: out today and be grateful for what you have. Stop
- 9:14Speaker 1: complaining about where you're not, and think about where you are,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and then take it from there. And then next time
- 9:20Speaker 1: you make a list, make sure on that list you
- 9:23Speaker 1: have God's will. What does he want for you? God
- 9:26Speaker 1: create give everybody a gift and a talent. Some of
- 9:29Speaker 1: us never apply gifts and talents. We head off in
- 9:32Speaker 1: another direction. Then you wonder why your life ain't where
- 9:35Speaker 1: it's supposed to be. Have you ever thought about what
- 9:37Speaker 1: God gifted you to do? Have you ever thought about
- 9:39Speaker 1: doing that? And stip skip what you want. I wanted
- 9:42Speaker 1: to play in the NBA, but I gotta tell you something.
- 9:45Speaker 1: At dribbling and shooting and running all at one time,
- 9:49Speaker 1: throwing me off a little bit. You know, it's so
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm doing what I do. It's pretty cool. You can
- 9:54Speaker 1: look at it that way. Okay, you're listening ladies, gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: boys and girls, people, animal trainer, pet lovers, Peter, those
- 10:10Speaker 1: people who eat me, vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, carnivorous people, whoever
- 10:19Speaker 1: you are. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The
- 10:22Speaker 1: voice you're listening to. It would have been me had
- 10:26Speaker 1: I gotten in education, had I stayed into school, paid
- 10:31Speaker 1: attention to all of my teachers, learned the lessons well,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and dedicated myself to a collegiate career. This is how
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'd be sounding. But due to the fact of several
- 10:42Speaker 1: setbacks integrating department meaning less than adequate performance in nearly
- 10:50Speaker 1: every subject, I have to mention that I've flunked out
- 10:55Speaker 1: of everything I've ever done educationally. And thus you have
- 11:00Speaker 1: this right here, mona bride, what happened? What a hey? Steve?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Call every Friday? Jake? What Steve? Not very time? Made? Yeah? Yeah?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Not A question is who do you like better? Ignorance?
- 11:27Speaker 1: He asked. It's not even a question, yes, he asked,
- 11:32Speaker 1: But I like ignorance because they just died. And I
- 11:37Speaker 1: don't see why anyone wouldn't pick a person like myself, educated,
- 11:41Speaker 1: well spoken, deservedly. So I ain't to do that knocked
- 11:45Speaker 1: on your door to rid him, because I would have
- 11:47Speaker 1: slammed the damn dope. By the way, I like, Dad,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you slammed the door in my face. Are you? Are
- 11:54Speaker 1: you a brother ignor Steve? Got you know, got help help? Yeah?
- 12:00Speaker 1: I a man. Let me tell you, I should appreciate it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to you, man, I should appreciate it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: It works. You gave me that twenty nine dollars told
- 12:09Speaker 1: me going. He said, this ain't camp. I don't share rule,
- 12:12Speaker 1: grown hass man. So I like that philosophy. But I
- 12:15Speaker 1: got leven dollars. I'm sharing the rule. I was not
- 12:20Speaker 1: yet homeless at that point, so no, no, I wasn't standing.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But shortly after that, though, you came through homeless. You
- 12:28Speaker 1: came through the house, and he came to the house cover. Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I did not know. I had no idea you are homeless.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I never had an idea you ownless. When I think
- 12:35Speaker 1: about it. When he came to my house, he had
- 12:37Speaker 1: everything get owned in a bag anyway, in one bag,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I had the picture of it on the floor. I
- 12:44Speaker 1: don't know what happened to that, man, I should have known.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Then every dog a dog used to show me that
- 12:50Speaker 1: picture every now and then. He said, look at all
- 12:53Speaker 1: your stuff out of this one bag on the floor.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I said, y'all know, man, I don't man, you was homeless? Then? Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: he said, why don't you tail You aren't gonna let
- 13:03Speaker 1: me live with you. You wouldn't even let me stand.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I ask some tailoring money come in. I let that
- 13:08Speaker 1: for you. Man, I'm saying, Jay, you know you don't
- 13:11Speaker 1: like company. I just stopped. Just stop right there. Coming
- 13:15Speaker 1: up in thirty two minutes after the hour, Jay is
- 13:18Speaker 1: here with another book. New ask. You know when he's
- 13:22Speaker 1: off what is he doing books? He's writing books? Okay,
- 13:25Speaker 1: he's an author. What number is this? Now? Jay? You
- 13:28Speaker 1: have like what you didn't do the raspberry? We gotta go.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, Jay has another book he wrote if you're
- 13:37Speaker 1: the only one working in the house. All right, we'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 13:45Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Jay is here, Yes, he wrote
- 13:49Speaker 1: another book. You said it was a twenty eighth one Steve.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Probably this book home Hitting and everybody can relate. The
- 14:00Speaker 1: name of this book is called if You're the only
- 14:02Speaker 1: one in the house working, damn it, these are the rules.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's the name of them. If you don't, if you're
- 14:11Speaker 1: the only one in the house working, you can change
- 14:14Speaker 1: the channel. Don't matter what nobody else is watching. If
- 14:19Speaker 1: they say I'm watching that, you can say I'm paying
- 14:23Speaker 1: for that, So you can change the damn yeh feeling
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm the only one in the house working. My new
- 14:30Speaker 1: book chapter this is chapter thirteen. You only only you
- 14:35Speaker 1: since you're working, only you get to use the good towers.
- 14:38Speaker 1: You don't have a job. You use them rough ash
- 14:41Speaker 1: towns to value behind them with Okay, yeah, I'm the
- 14:45Speaker 1: only one one, but those are the ones you use. Yes,
- 14:56Speaker 1: that's where your towels. The mind of fluff is salt
- 14:59Speaker 1: and to the lie saw and tidy boat and two
- 15:05Speaker 1: actually rolls a toilet to love it, love it. If
- 15:09Speaker 1: you're the only one working in the house, you said
- 15:12Speaker 1: the curfew as to when people can come in, I
- 15:16Speaker 1: may or may not give you a key, Okay, I
- 15:19Speaker 1: may or may not. Damn you have a clock. All
- 15:24Speaker 1: these jos is locked. That's what I'm seeing. Red, I'm
- 15:27Speaker 1: not getting up. Yeah, I'm not asking no dough brows.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Thank you? Did Joe lock at twelve? A matter of fact,
- 15:35Speaker 1: sooner than nudes go off, I'm going to lock up.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm going to bed. Thank you. Here's another chapter. This
- 15:41Speaker 1: is a lung chapter. If you have if I allow
- 15:44Speaker 1: you to have a pet, I don't need to see him.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I don't need to hear him, and I don't need
- 15:49Speaker 1: to smell him. Okay, I don't. I need to know
- 15:53Speaker 1: that that pet is not in the damn house. Well,
- 15:55Speaker 1: your ass is down to fish. Thank you coming here
- 15:59Speaker 1: with oh damn bunnet rabbits. Thank you? Can't you dogs

- 16:12Speaker 1: his ass got to be in the corner if I
- 16:14Speaker 1: feel like you should have a fish. All right, this
- 16:17Speaker 1: is very important that I will have my own and
- 16:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna count the middle sections my very own role
- 16:26Speaker 1: of toilet paper that will not be touched. Okay, damn it,
- 16:31Speaker 1: my role, my damn it, that's my role. That's right.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm going from my bathroom into the bathroom and back
- 16:40Speaker 1: with me. Thank you. If I leave it in, don't
- 16:45Speaker 1: touch you? Yea, what what I'm counting? Square's what them
- 16:49Speaker 1: ragged ass tiles is fault. Use them, rach them out
- 16:55Speaker 1: and dry them out and hang them up. Yeah, Rachel,
- 17:00Speaker 1: So Jay, this isn't all in your new books, my brand.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I'm the only one working in this house. These are
- 17:05Speaker 1: the rules. Damn it. Number one. Here's another chapter or
- 17:08Speaker 1: the chapter sixteen. If I allow you to have a
- 17:11Speaker 1: side hustle in that house, meaning you're doing hair, you're
- 17:16Speaker 1: doing hell. You ain't be sitting on a personal trainer,
- 17:20Speaker 1: I get a cut and expect if you sell it,
- 17:25Speaker 1: we sell it. Fitted sit half for that. Fuck. Yeah
- 17:35Speaker 1: oh ha stock hey jay ha, Yeah, yeah, I like
- 17:40Speaker 1: chapter number or thirty two. Oh, which I like that. Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: It's name of this chapter is cause I said so,
- 17:47Speaker 1: h chapter because I said so anybody asked a question
- 17:54Speaker 1: in this damn house, right, referred to chapter thirty two.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Damn it caused our sad said so, ain't that's it?
- 18:05Speaker 1: That's it's another another chapter. Chapter, Chapter forty a good
- 18:12Speaker 1: chapter chapters in the book. Oh oh, this is a
- 18:15Speaker 1: big book about one hundred and eighteen forty. It says,
- 18:20Speaker 1: if I go to bed early, I go to bed early.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Everybody goes to bed early. Okay, we're yeah yeah, no, no, no, no,
- 18:32Speaker 1: we all go to bed at this. I don't have
- 18:35Speaker 1: to be in the bed hearing you up. Look what
- 18:38Speaker 1: you up for? What you up for? You ain't got
- 18:42Speaker 1: night personal, You ain't got to go to work. I
- 18:45Speaker 1: go to bed, You go to bed. Okay, go the

- 19:17Speaker 1: I like it doll open. I need to see. You're
- 19:20Speaker 1: nothing in my house. Walk past and pull it shut.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm shutting it in my house. No, you're not shut nothing.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm shutting the dough. If you ain't there using the
- 19:31Speaker 1: bathroom with your ass up. No you won't, No, you
- 19:37Speaker 1: wont Yeah, yeah you're not. You gotta make closing no dough. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: this is you don't pay for. When I wake up
- 19:47Speaker 1: in the morning to go to work. I can make
- 19:51Speaker 1: as much damn noise as I want to make it.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Don't say a damn thing. Don't be shitting me. I'm
- 19:59Speaker 1: trying to get No. No, what you need to do
- 20:03Speaker 1: is get some work. Now, that's what you need to do.

- 36:15Speaker 1: if he could find a way to defend that, I
- 36:18Speaker 1: don't know, man, it's he. I think Tyson Fury is
- 36:22Speaker 1: a better boxer. Wilder is the puncher. Now, technically, the
- 36:28Speaker 1: better boxer is Tyson. He's he's more technically sound. But
- 36:34Speaker 1: I don't know if he could take these hammers though.

- 36:55Speaker 1: all that ass down? No? He Mike Tyson. Tyson hit
- 37:00Speaker 1: so hard and channel on my television. His hands were
- 37:08Speaker 1: lethal weapons right at the time. But I've said it before.
- 37:15Speaker 1: These guys are great fighters. Uh. Wilder is a great heavyweight.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Claim is to be the hardest puncher in heavyweight history. Uh.
- 37:25Speaker 1: He has a lot of knockouts to back that up.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I like him. I like his style, I like his
- 37:32Speaker 1: community work. I like the guy that he is. I
- 37:35Speaker 1: think Wilder is a good guy too. H But this
- 37:39Speaker 1: boy Fury come out there. Now. Tyson come from a
- 37:42Speaker 1: checker pass too, But Fury come from addiction depression. He
- 37:48Speaker 1: he been counted way out and he was down in
- 37:52Speaker 1: the twelfth round and got up and started fighting back.
- 37:57Speaker 1: That's a It's a different kind of dude, man. I'm
- 38:00Speaker 1: pulling for Dante Wilder. But I'm afraid of tyson Man
- 38:05Speaker 1: and he got that new corner. Dude. But if Dante
- 38:11Speaker 1: who talking to you, means a lot yo, oh you
- 38:14Speaker 1: believe that. But if Dante catching with that shot, it's

- 47:17Speaker 1: be a slave. Well you know what I will doing? Well,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I mean we will come up there. I will come
- 47:22Speaker 1: up there and uh pretend to be here and movie

- 47:41Speaker 1: dress as a slave, that's the problem. That's problem. Okay, okay, sir.
- 47:46Speaker 1: If we're gonna pay homage to black history, don't you
- 47:49Speaker 1: think that all of that is a part of Black history?
- 47:52Speaker 1: Highlights the positive? Man highlights the positive. You're paying me
- 47:57Speaker 1: the day to work for you. This ain't no slaves
- 47:59Speaker 1: free labor. Do you understand that? No? I completely understand it.
- 48:04Speaker 1: But what if we don't have where where it started from?
- 48:09Speaker 1: You know, we have to have we have to have
- 48:11Speaker 1: all every single area of black history. Don't you think
- 48:15Speaker 1: we have to have the beginning, the middle, and the ending. Okay, well,
- 48:18Speaker 1: if you want to highlight something, the to be Frederick Duller,
- 48:20Speaker 1: let me slick my hab back. But see the problem
- 48:22Speaker 1: you got with him? His father was a white man. See,
- 48:25Speaker 1: y'all like looking at our women, but y'all don't like
- 48:27Speaker 1: uplifting the black man. So how about I do that?
- 48:31Speaker 1: Let me be Frederick Jellers. That's how I like that? Fast.
- 48:33Speaker 1: How about you, Chad, you like black women? I'm here

- 48:43Speaker 1: what I'm trying to do is get a great, great
- 48:46Speaker 1: environment within the company, and everyone wants is not a
- 48:49Speaker 1: great environments. Now, the majority of the of the Caucasian
- 48:52Speaker 1: people are gonna be masters tomorrow. Okay, what did you
- 48:56Speaker 1: say masters? Did you gonna say masters? Yes, most of
- 48:59Speaker 1: them going to be masters tomorrow. I'm being there with
- 49:02Speaker 1: my attorney to master ELC lawsuit on your talk about that? Sir?
- 49:08Speaker 1: Do you have a problem with us trying to trying
- 49:10Speaker 1: to uplift the black community? Do you have a problem
- 49:12Speaker 1: with that? Man? You ain't uplifting saying you know what
- 49:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm coming in the mars the rock Obama.
- 49:18Speaker 1: But you don't like to do you. Yeah, we're running around.
- 49:22Speaker 1: You want to get somebody to come in to be
- 49:23Speaker 1: a slave. You feel master masters, master me coming in
- 49:28Speaker 1: as a black man like I've been coming into working
- 49:31Speaker 1: like I'm a forever coming in the work. We're a
- 49:33Speaker 1: major farmer company and you calling me on a Sunday
- 49:35Speaker 1: with like this, are you watch sir? Sir? What we're
- 49:40Speaker 1: trying to do is uplift the black community that we're
- 49:42Speaker 1: trying to saint talking about slavery. Fucklift, ain't kiss love black.
- 49:48Speaker 1: That's what you do, sir. I'm trying to what we're
- 49:52Speaker 1: trying to do is play a homage to black history.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And here you are being negative about the entire entire
- 49:58Speaker 1: situation of what we're trying to do. Being negative. I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: being like, man, you I'm coming in as Barack Obama

- 52:53Speaker 1: And if you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 52:58Speaker 1: and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM
- 53:01Speaker 1: dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be
- 53:04Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 53:07Speaker 1: gonna read this one. We got it fun. Here it
- 53:16Speaker 1: is Strawberry Letter. All right, here we go. Subject my
- 53:21Speaker 1: man lies like a rug. Dear Stephen Shirley, my child's
- 53:25Speaker 1: father is a habitual liar. We've been dating for three
- 53:29Speaker 1: years and he has lied to me almost about the
- 53:33Speaker 1: most stupid stuff. We have almost been evicted because he
- 53:36Speaker 1: lied about paying our rent. After I had our son.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He told me he bought a ring and was going
- 53:41Speaker 1: to propose, but he got in a financial bind and
- 53:44Speaker 1: had to return the ring to pay off some debt.
- 53:47Speaker 1: He has taken money out of our son's bank account
- 53:50Speaker 1: for petty things that he needs, and then he lies
- 53:53Speaker 1: about it and says it was for bank fees or
- 53:56Speaker 1: something else. Over the years, he his lies have gotten worse.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I just recently found out that he lied to me
- 54:02Speaker 1: about being in a coma for six months so he
- 54:05Speaker 1: wouldn't have to pay his credit card bills. What his
- 54:09Speaker 1: creditors started sending bills to our house and I had
- 54:12Speaker 1: to get involved to help him straighten it all out
- 54:14Speaker 1: so he wouldn't get into legal trouble. What kind of
- 54:17Speaker 1: person lies about something like that. I have asked him
- 54:20Speaker 1: to let me handle our finances, to make sure that
- 54:24Speaker 1: we are up to date with our rent and all
- 54:26Speaker 1: of our utilities, but he says, as man of the house,
- 54:29Speaker 1: he's taking care of it despite the lies. We click
- 54:33Speaker 1: on every level and we have a great relationship. He's
- 54:37Speaker 1: a great dad too, But I don't want his lying
- 54:40Speaker 1: to rub off on my son. If I end up
- 54:43Speaker 1: marrying him. I will forever doubt that he is on
- 54:46Speaker 1: the up and up with me. How can I get
- 54:48Speaker 1: him to come clean on the lies? I don't think
- 54:51Speaker 1: he can control it at this point. I love him,
- 54:54Speaker 1: but I wonder if he's lying when he says he
- 54:56Speaker 1: loves me and wants to be a family. Stephen Shirley,
- 54:59Speaker 1: if you haven't advice for me, yeah, you know what.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I wouldn't believe a word he says about anything. I
- 55:06Speaker 1: just wouldn't. I mean, how could you at this point
- 55:09Speaker 1: with his track record. I mean, and it's not stupid
- 55:12Speaker 1: stuff like you say. I mean, this is pretty serious stuff.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I mean, lying about the rent, lying about the ring
- 55:19Speaker 1: and the proposal, and lying about being in a coma
- 55:23Speaker 1: for six months what. I don't even that doesn't even
- 55:27Speaker 1: make sense. I mean, who does that. I just don't
- 55:31Speaker 1: think this stuff is stupid or petty, and I think
- 55:33Speaker 1: you should look at it from a very serious angle.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I mean, that's the kind of stuff that can get
- 55:39Speaker 1: you messed up out here, lying about stuff like this. Listen,
- 55:42Speaker 1: if you're considering marrying this man, I got to ask
- 55:45Speaker 1: you why, because it's just going to be more of
- 55:48Speaker 1: the same, more lies, more, lies and then some more
- 55:52Speaker 1: lies on top of that. He can't tell the truth.
- 55:54Speaker 1: He has a problem with it. I mean since day
- 55:57Speaker 1: one he's been doing that. And yeah, you have a
- 56:00Speaker 1: right to not want your son to be around all
- 56:03Speaker 1: this lying and stuff. I don't think he's going to change.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I mean, the other mistake he's making is saying that
- 56:11Speaker 1: he's the man of the house, so he's taking care
- 56:13Speaker 1: of it. Just because he's the man of the house
- 56:15Speaker 1: who made him a financial whiz and stuff like that.
- 56:18Speaker 1: That doesn't mean that just because you're the man, he's
- 56:21Speaker 1: not taking care of anything. The problem is his ego
- 56:26Speaker 1: won't allow you, who are obviously better with money, handle
- 56:30Speaker 1: the finances. I mean, that's a problem too. I think
- 56:32Speaker 1: this is always going to be a problem in your
- 56:34Speaker 1: relationship unless he gives in and allows you to take over.
- 56:38Speaker 1: And it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Steve, Well,
- 56:43Speaker 1: my man lied like a rug. This is a great
- 56:47Speaker 1: letter for me because I've had to lie on more
- 56:51Speaker 1: than a few thousand occasions. Come on board, and so
- 56:56Speaker 1: let me take you through what he doing. Uh, you say,
- 57:01Speaker 1: he y'all been dating three years. He's a habitual lie.
- 57:06Speaker 1: You say, He lied about stupid stuff, now, y'all, and
- 57:10Speaker 1: almost got evicted because he lied about paying the rent. Well,
- 57:16Speaker 1: the reason he lied about paying the rent was because
- 57:20Speaker 1: he thought he was gonna get the rent back and
- 57:23Speaker 1: go down there and pay it while he still went
- 57:28Speaker 1: shopping about the drugs. Because when you lie like this,
- 57:32Speaker 1: these drugs. Then y'all had the baby. He bought a ring.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Then he said he ran into the financial difficult He
- 57:44Speaker 1: had to take the ring back down there. You never
- 57:46Speaker 1: saw this ring. This ring never got bought. Drug addicts
- 57:53Speaker 1: don't have ring money. What drug addicts ain't got no
- 58:00Speaker 1: money for no damn reen, that's why you ain't seeing that.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Then you're saying he took money out your son's account. Now,
- 58:08Speaker 1: y'all only been together three years. What your baby got
- 58:11Speaker 1: a biggie bank? Nobody breaks into child's bank except somebody
- 58:18Speaker 1: on drugs. Then he called all his creditors and told
- 58:28Speaker 1: them he wasn't gonna be able to pay him for
- 58:30Speaker 1: six months because I'm gonna be in a coma, that
- 58:36Speaker 1: is all he said. The reason I ain't paid, y'all
- 58:39Speaker 1: is six months is because I was in a coma.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Either way, that's a junking ass statement. I was in
- 58:51Speaker 1: a coma. He lied all the time. He says he's
- 58:59Speaker 1: the man of the house. He might be lying about that.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Oh he may very well be a girl. You could
- 59:14Speaker 1: have actually married another woman because he didn't lie about
- 59:19Speaker 1: everything else. And when we come back, I will do
- 59:22Speaker 1: a live re enactment because ikay, your baby gonna be
- 59:28Speaker 1: a liar, So Steve baby lies. Next, we'll have part
- 59:34Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three minutes
- 59:37Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject my man lies
- 59:40Speaker 1: like a rug. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 59:46Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today Strawberry Letters.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Subject my man lies like a rug. He lied about everything.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Dan damnly got evicted because he said he paid the rent.
- 59:59Speaker 1: He he lied about that. Did God put it out?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Then y'all have been dating three years after you had
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: the baby. He bought a ring for you, said he
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: was gonna propose, Then he told you had to take
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the ring back because we got in some financial difficult
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: He never had no ring. Then he has stole all
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the little baby money. That's a straight crackhead move when
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you're breaking in piggabanks. Then he told his creditors he
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: can't pay for six months because either he was in
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a coma for six months or he about to be
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: being one for six months. Either one is a great lie.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: That's a great lie. I've never used that coma. I've
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: come close. I told a girl I fell out, lying
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: arsenal No, I told a girl one time, my faint
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I fell out. That's close. That's pretty darn close. Then
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: the biggest lie he told you is he the man
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: at the house. That might not be true. We need
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to look into that. Then you say it in your ladder.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: One of your biggest fears is that your baby will
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: pick up his habit and become a liar. Too. Well,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I believe he's on his way. I think your baby
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: is already gonna be a lie. Here to prove it.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Surely you've been a mother. I'm your baby. Have I'm
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: still a mother. That's what I said. You know you've
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: been a mother, I meaning you know for some time.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: So here's a dem I'm your child. You can ask
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: me any level of childhood questions, baby questions, let's make
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: it baby questions. You're talking to a baby. I'm somewhere
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: between three and five years old, and I'm gonna show
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you how babies lie anything. It don't matter like babies.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Oh hi, honey, Um, what's that you're watching? What movie
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: is that you're watching? I'm not watching a movie, but
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you are. It's on Hulu right now. I see the movie,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: but I'm not looking. Oh okay, Well did you like
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the Um? Did you like the toy I bought you?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Isn't that? Wasn't it cute? Did you like it? I
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: would have liked it, but my friend stole it. But
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I just saw you playing with it a few minutes
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: ago before you put the movie on. You didn't see
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: him coming here? And still no, baby, I didn't. Uh. Well, um,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: let's see what do you want for lunch? You told
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: me you wanted a sandwich and some chips. You still
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: want that, m hmm, but but not to dato? Well
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: oh okay, didn't. I did roll some burritos? Oh okay, doritos? Okay?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I thought you wanted potato chip. You want to read outs? Um?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: How are your new sneakers working out the new little
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: air Jordan's I got you? You like him? Yeah? He
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: stole that with the toy my friend has stole it.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Did you see, um? Did you see daddy when he
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: got home from work? Did you talk to him? Yeah?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: That's not my dad and he's been lying to YouTube. Mama.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: He not your hood, he said, what do you mean? Well, Um,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: come on, I gotta run to the store and get
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: something for dinner. You wanna m ride with me? You
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: ain't got no car? Huh? I do have a car.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Baby? My friend that stole
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: the toy and my sneakers. Your daddy stole your car? Honey?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? It seems like you're not
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: telling the truth. I don't want to say you know
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: you're lying, um, but a lot of things aren't true
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that you're saying. Right now. What's what's happening? What's going
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: on with you? I'm just like my daddy. I thought
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you ain't did nothing to him? So what you're in
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: my faithful baby? That's no way to talk to your mother.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Now you stop that. Are you gonna get a little spanking? Now?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Stop that. I don't want a little spanker. Excuse me,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I don't want a little spanking? Mom? What does that mean?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Spank me like big daddy? All right, kid. See, these
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: are baby these are baby lies, baby lies. And I
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: think her child, her son, is on his way to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: being just like his daddah. Now you say other than that,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: he's a great guy, how you know? But I wonder
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: if he's lying when he tell me he loves me,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: of course, and he wants to be a family. Of course,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he wants to be a family. He never said he
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: was with you, don Yeah, run for the hills because
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: she's thinking about marrying this guy. You know you're not

- 1:06:06Speaker 1: A French amateur soccer player in France has been banned
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: from the game for five years because he bit his

- 1:06:18Speaker 1: incident occurred as during the game, he bit his opponent's penis,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: all right, penis penis. The incident occurred during games back
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: in November. Two players began fighting and then one of them.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: The incident occurred during a game back in November. The
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: two players began fighting, then one of the players bit
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: his opponent in his penis. Jay, he was rushed to
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: the hospital. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Real bad. Oh No, Steve, We've been in a lot
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: of fight dog. We ain't never thought of that though.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Come on, no, no, no, no, but you probably never
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: got your ass with like he was getting hit with.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I gut. He had to get him off of him
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: to do that, you got. And then that time he's
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: suspended for five years, don't nobody want to play with him? No,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: even even when the five years is up, it's gonna

- 1:07:30Speaker 1: wining cups, cups out of that like to catch it,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: wear protection anywhere. Soccer players wolf cups because of the kitchen. Yeah,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I think they were I thought I thought so. True.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: So he bent through the cup. You can't bite through
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: a cup because he didn't have a cup. Now, how
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: bad did he bite? He should well, he had to
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: have stitches. Anything and in that area is traumatic. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: and very painful. Every boy remembers the first time he

- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I got it. But once you zip up, you got
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: to zip back. Well, I couldn't do it. I was
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: in that crime, and my mama wouldn't. Got my daddy.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: My daddy walked right now. Oh you didn't, you didn't
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: committed the felon against your damn self. He said, No,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: What I want you to do is reach over and
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: hand me that off the back of that toilet, that cream.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: And I went to reach it. When I reached he
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: just snatched it down and walked out the bam way
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: to do this. Boy. Wow, all right, we're moving on. Yeah.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Prince Harry

- 1:09:24Speaker 1: when they'll lose the keys to their office in Buckingham
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Palace and the mex it will be finalized. Okay, how
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: thank yo, gango gang, thank yo, thank yo, thank yo.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I guess so hello everyone, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello Thomas,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Hello sir, Hello, held Brown, Hello sir? How you doing,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: young Queen and the making Shadow? Hello, Black Duke of Earl.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: I am here to answer all questions concerning royal business.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Go ahead with the questions, okay. I want to know
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: first of all, Black Duke of Earl, why are they
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: leaving in the first place? Why did they want to leave?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: They didn't want to leave. They were slamming the girl
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: so badly in the press that Harris said, damn you,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you'll not new this to my wife, will not subject
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: our child to this. And we're leaving. And so that
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: was they are leaving, and Queen asked them to stay,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: but they know that she's not gonna be a much longer,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: so they decided to disobey. Oh that's all it is,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: too and they're going to Canada. They wanted to come
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: to America, but you all have a resident as loose
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: using his rabbit as mine. Why would he go? Why
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: would anyone want to go? Now? Used to be a
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: wonderful place, but now it's falling to part due to
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: your leadership. Maybe someday you'll correct that mistake. Next question,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Black Duke, do you think um that Megan is like
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: you know, I mean, do you think her and the
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Queen didn't get along? No? No, Now, Megan's a lovely girl.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: She was absolutely wonderful with the Queen. I'm telling you.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Has nothing to do with the going on inside the palace.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Londoners can be rather ripe about things of that nature.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: It's very racist at times. I doubt to say this.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I've lasted as long as I have. I'm the Jackie
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Robinson of the Palace, so to speak. Oh, I didn't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: know you was actually in the palace, Duke. Are you
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: in the palace all damning day? They just never take
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: pictures of me because they don't want it to get out.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Well before they leave, Black Duke of World, they do
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: have some last royal official duties to do over in England.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: How do you think that's gonna go? I don't know
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: what the hell they gotta do, but I told Megan
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: on the side, listen, I'm Black, letting me know. I'm
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gonna tear your room up when you leave fire. You
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: don't ever want to leave without turning something up. I
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: want to rip these old, dead white people down off
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: these walls to startles. No one wants to see Prince George.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's three hundred years old. So I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: take some of these pictures down. I told her I
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: would slide hustle extra money. There's a chest in the
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: back that the Queen goes and gets her pocket buck
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: money from. I was gonna take the chest. I'd have
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the key. I've made a copy with some clay. One day,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: they didn't know it. I'm eating by the well that
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: they ever putting me out a hell break loose Jay,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: did you have a question for the black duker girl? Yes, definitely,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Black dugger girl. Do you think it would have been
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: better for her had she invited some of her black
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: friends to hang out with her? Never never never? That
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: would have been the end of how much showed up?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: You don't invite them. Hell, they don't want me. Hell
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: they quiet as long as you pay. Man, I'm wonderfully
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: being quiet. I'm sleeping with all the white girls back then,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: And have ever wondered if you go black? Can you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: go back? And damn it? The answers, No, we want
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: to thank you black girl forgetting the record. Slept with
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: every maid? Hell really coming up? More music and wonderfully
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: back at twenty minutes after the hour all right after

- 1:14:33Speaker 1: it seems like Spielberg's he supports his daughter sex career ambitions.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Michaela said she liked to progress from video to the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: live stage and perform on the brass pole. Apparently the
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: hang up is obtaining a stripper's license in Nashville. The
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: state requires a hefty payment plus two ID photos fingerprints
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: in two weeks for a background check. Her stage name
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: is Sugar Star the film you and you you're working
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: on in a little film you're working on You, me
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: and your mother would like to see it. Kids anyway,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Sugar Star. But it's just like, ain't she going backwards
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: and work on you? You're doing adult films so you
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: can one day get on the pole backwards. She said
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: she'd liked to progress from video to the live stage
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: and perform on the brass pole. Wow wow, well she
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: got on in can ambitious Yeah. Uh Moura of the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Sea Harpy Morning Show Folks thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: right after this. That's right, Steve, you're listening to show,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: all right. So Steve, the rematch heavyweight boxing title match
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: is this Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Las Vegas. I thought you said you were going. I'm
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: going Deante Wilder versus Tyson Fury. Back in twenty eighteen.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: This fight was a draw. And did you see huh think?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Yeah he did? He knocked them down twice. I didn't
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: see that one. Yeah twice? Okay, Well did you see
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: that they got into some pushing and shoving at the
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: pre fight press conference? Ye ain't nobody now who y'all
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: think gonna win? Said, I'm going with the brother. Who
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you're going with? I'm going with Wilder two. But I'm
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: telling you right now, this boyd Tyson Fury. He's a
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: real boxer, man. But Wilder so damn hard and he
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: called him twice in the last fight. But if he
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: could find a way to defend that, I don't know, man,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: it's he. I think Tyson Fury is a better boxer.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Wilder is the puncher. Now, technically the better boxer is Tyson.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: He's he's more technically sound, but I don't know if
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: he could take these hammers, dog. I just don't know
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: if because he couldn't take the first five. Yes, let
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: me ask you this. Since you brought up Tyson, how
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: about another Tyson, Mike Tyson. But I'm talking nineteen nineties
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Mike Tyson. Between Mike Tyson and Deontay Wilder, who do
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you think Tyson would walk to all that as yoke?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Mike Tyson hits so hard and channel on my television.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: He knocked his hands were lethal weapons, right, the weapons
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: at the time. But I've said it before. These guys
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: are great fighters. Wilder is a great heavyweight. He the
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: claim is to be the hardest puncher in heavyweight history.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: He has a lot of knockouts to back that up.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I like him. I like his style, I like his
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: community work. I like the guy that he is. I
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: think Wilder is a good guy too. Um. But this boy,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Fury come out there. Now. Tyson come from a checker
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: pass too, But Fury come from addiction depression. He he
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: been counted way out and he was down in the
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: twelfth round and got up and started fighting back. That's
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: a It's a different kind of dude, man. So I'm
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: pulling for Dante Wilder, but I'm afraid of tyson Man
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: and he got that new corner. Dude. But if Dante
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: who talking to you means a lot yo, oh you
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: believe that. But if Dante catching with that shot, it's
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: a rap because I ain't seen nobody take that punch.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: and of course break of the day, and some closing
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: remarks coming up from Steve Harvey at nine at forty
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour. Right after this you're listening
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: to show. All right, here we are the last break
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: of the day, on the Friday's break of the day.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: He hee, coming up right now. It is the last
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: you had more breaks? Does here? Just the last one
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: of the day. Yes, thank you, thank you for clarifying Jay, Yeah. Um,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: And it's been a good Friday, huh. Yeah. We love Friday's.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Love Fridays, love our Friday. Yeah. All right, y'all go
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: listen to me. This is some encouragement for everybody. I'm
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: going to use myself as an example because that's the
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: experiences I have. I've understood something about my life and
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you should understand it about yours too, that I've been
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: processed over the years, and the process is never comfortable.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: It's cause you're processing. You know, and and and and
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and what you're gonna look like when you come out
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: ain't gonna be the same thing you look like when
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it went in, because you're being processor. If you put
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: if you put food in a food processor, what you
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: what comes out of it don't look like what went
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: in it. But it's uncomfortable in the process. But I
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: want everybody to understand that we are all being processed,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: and what we're looking right now ain't how we gonna
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: be looking when we come through it. So be strong
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: and hanging there because you ain't going through nothing that
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: nobody else went through. You be in processed. See a
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: lot of things happened to me in my life. I've
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: actually heard people say I was done, washed up. Dad
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: ought to do it for him. I actually heard a
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: lady in a blog on a situation. They were talking
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: about me. They said he was He's buried. They they
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: just burying him. They want to get rid of him,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: so they burying him. I want it so bad to
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: say something, but I didn't. I held my piece. I
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: stayed on the wall. So I don't always stay on
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the wall. But this time I did. But you know something, y'all,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: when they write you off and they say you buried,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: what they don't realize is I wasn't actually being buried.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I was actually being planet. See they look like the
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: same thing, but they not the same thing. See, when
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: you bury something, you saying goodbye to it. I'll never
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: see you again. So we're burying you. I'm saying goodbye
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to it. But when you're plant something, what you're doing
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: is you're repositioning it. You're putting it from one place
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: over to another place so you can reposition it again
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: so they can come back up again. See so every
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: time people thought I was buried, they didn't realize I
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: was actually getting planet. God is taking you and placing
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you in another situation so you can come back up again,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and to come back up this time will be always
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: higher than the place that they thought you got buried in. Man,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: you better hear what I'm trying to tell y'all. You
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: got to deal with the process. Don't worry about him
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: laughing that you're talking about. You're buried now, Now you
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: ain't buried. You've been planet. All God doing is he
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: moving you through another position so you can come back
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: up stronger, taller, bigger and brighter. And I want you
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: to understand something too. On your way to greatness, you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: have to incubate greatness. That God inside of you, he
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: gonna take you through some things that's gonna put you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: in some positions. Man, that God inside of you, he
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: gonna take you through some situations that's crushing. He gonna
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: take you to some dog places. God gonna take you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: through some isolated places. He gonna take you to some
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: places that's overlooked and ignored. See, so that that greatness
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and you can germinate in a private place, because y'all
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: want to know something. Greatness ain't never germinated in public.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Did you hear what I said? Greatness has never germinated
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: in public. You ain't never seen nobody come become great
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: right before your eyes. No, they always show up somewhere
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: and all of a sudden they're different. They they make
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: a comeback when you thought they was buried and you
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: found out they was planned been somewhere in a dark place,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: when everybody had written them off. That's how you become great.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: You get incubated. You get in some dark places, some
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: isolated places, some overlooked and ignored places, so that greatness
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: can can can germinate in a private place in the dog. See,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: when you planet, you got to have dirt on top
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: of you. You got to get the dirt on top
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: of you to get planet. You can't put a seed
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: out on the concrete and it's suspected to grow. You
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: gotta put it under the ground. You gotta put it
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: in the dark place so we can germinate what people
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: forget about it for a minute. That's how you become great.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: So when you're going through the process, remember this you
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: it don't look like what it did when it went in.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: It's called a process. It's gonna reappear and it's gonna
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: be what God wanted to be. So all of y'all
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: is going through the process, understand that that's all it is.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: It's a process. And when you come up the ones
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: that thank you, Barry, they're gonna find out you just
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: got planted. That's all it is. I've been replanted over
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: and over and over. It just happened to me recently.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I'm back up again. That's because that God you served,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: he a good god man, he really is. Those are
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: my closing remarks, Amen to that, Steve. Yeah and amen
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Amen Amen again. Well you can say, you can say
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: it now. They just ain't nothing new. Have yourself a
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: great weekend, didn't I tell you it's here. I live
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: my life with the expectation that greatness is always coming,
