Hewannora International Airport Development Moves Forward
Major infrastructure upgrades are advancing at the Hewannora International Airport, with procurement completed and a contractor selected for the construction of the new terminal building. Work on the airport tower is approximately 97 percent complete, while equipment and software installation is also progressing to make the facility fully operational.
