- 2:03Speaker 1: come on and everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Well, okay, here we go. You
- 2:17Speaker 1: know what's important, What's what can be a huge part
- 2:21Speaker 1: of your success is if you if you find a balance,
- 2:28Speaker 1: if you find a balance in your life. That's that's
- 2:32Speaker 1: been very important for me. And I've really never phrased
- 2:36Speaker 1: it this way until now, but I was kind of
- 2:39Speaker 1: thinking about it after my wife and I mean, we
- 2:41Speaker 1: set up one night recently. Man. You know, I often
- 2:45Speaker 1: come on here and this is kind of an inspirational
- 2:47Speaker 1: moment of the show, and I try to remind people
- 2:50Speaker 1: about that most important relationship between you and God. And
- 2:55Speaker 1: that's that's the apex of it. That's that's the that's
- 2:58Speaker 1: the top of the crown. You gotta form the relationship
- 3:01Speaker 1: with God. If you don't, everything else struggles. It's hard
- 3:05Speaker 1: to be a good husband without God. It's hard to
- 3:07Speaker 1: be a good family man without God. It's hard to
- 3:09Speaker 1: be successful without God. Man, it's hard to be hard
- 3:13Speaker 1: to get through this thing called life without God. So
- 3:15Speaker 1: that's clear. But at the same time, you can't talk
- 3:20Speaker 1: about God twenty four seven. You got to go to work.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Come on, man, let's just be real. I ain't I
- 3:26Speaker 1: ain't your past, and I ain't at your church. But
- 3:28Speaker 1: let's just be real about it. You know, if people
- 3:32Speaker 1: tell you got to keep your mind stayed on Him
- 3:33Speaker 1: and all like that, that's that's a true statement. Got
- 3:36Speaker 1: to keep your mind stayed in that area. I don't
- 3:38Speaker 1: not here to tell you how to live, but you
- 3:40Speaker 1: got to keep your mind stayed in that area of God,
- 3:42Speaker 1: of doing the right thing, caring about people. That's what
- 3:45Speaker 1: I took it as. Now, I could be wrong. I
- 3:47Speaker 1: apologize if I'm not saying that the way you've been taught,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I can only do me now. But after that, you
- 3:53Speaker 1: got to go to work. You got to have some fun.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You gotta take care of your business. And that's the
- 4:00Speaker 1: balance you have to find. So it once you focus
- 4:05Speaker 1: on shooing up your relationship with God, you got you
- 4:09Speaker 1: gotta balance this now. Now, you got to allocate some time.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't care who you are, for your family. If
- 4:17Speaker 1: you're gonna have a family, you got to allocate some
- 4:20Speaker 1: time for them. See, we can't just marry these women
- 4:24Speaker 1: or make these kids and then neglect them. And fellas,
- 4:29Speaker 1: especially if I'm talking to me and out him, ladies,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you can listen to. But listen. If you find yourself
- 4:34Speaker 1: struggling in your life, man, and you can't seem to
- 4:36Speaker 1: get it together, Let's just go over a couple of things.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The first two things, if you find yourself struggling, you
- 4:42Speaker 1: can't seem to pull it together and reach your goals
- 4:45Speaker 1: and get to where you want to go. Let's just
- 4:48Speaker 1: do a check how is your relationship with God? And
- 4:53Speaker 1: then next how much time are you taking to allocate
- 4:57Speaker 1: for your family? Now, your family don't always live in
- 5:01Speaker 1: your house, but if you made them, they yours and
- 5:06Speaker 1: the responsibility to them is never lessen because you don't
- 5:09Speaker 1: stay that no more because you and the girl broke up.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You and the woman don't speak a man that don't
- 5:15Speaker 1: ever release you from the obligation. Feel me when I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: telling you this now, because I'm not telling you something
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm wondering about. I've had to live through them years.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So two things you can start looking at. If you're
- 5:29Speaker 1: not where you want to be, and you ain't, you
- 5:30Speaker 1: ain't really solid. You can't figure out why you keep
- 5:33Speaker 1: spending your wills. Have you just done a random inventory? Man?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Have you just checked on your relationship with God? Have
- 5:39Speaker 1: you checked on the time you're spending dedicated towards your family,
- 5:43Speaker 1: your children that you've created. If them two things is
- 5:46Speaker 1: out of saint man, that I can tell you right now,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you can go on and get to explain in yourself
- 5:51Speaker 1: away just like that, A man, how come you ain't
- 5:54Speaker 1: where you want to be? Couz man, I really ain't.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But if you really ain't, then you really ain't. The
- 6:00Speaker 1: third thing is you got to allocate the necessary time
- 6:04Speaker 1: for your business. You got to handle your business. All
- 6:10Speaker 1: of this, man is the way it works, and the order,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the order is God first, family second. Then you got
- 6:23Speaker 1: to handle all your business. But as me, and this
- 6:26Speaker 1: is what we do. If I don't handle my business,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I can't take care of my family. True statement. But
- 6:33Speaker 1: if your business is in front of your family, you
- 6:35Speaker 1: out of order. Nah. That's all we're talking about, now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't it. See that's that's all we really saying here, now,
- 6:41Speaker 1: fellas you know, you know, I mean, I mean, come on, man,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know, let's let's have a real conversation about being better.
- 6:48Speaker 1: You know, if you have created these children, you got
- 6:50Speaker 1: to handle your business. You may not like the girl
- 6:54Speaker 1: no more. You and the woman might have broken up,
- 6:56Speaker 1: y'all might go your own way, But what that got
- 6:57Speaker 1: to do with the child though? Man, you got to
- 6:59Speaker 1: handle of your business. They got to know who daddy is.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's your obligation, man. And God ain't letting you off
- 7:04Speaker 1: the hook for that. Try it, Go ahead and try it,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and thank you. Gonna get off the hook with that,
- 7:10Speaker 1: because you're not man, You just not. I'm sorry, man,
- 7:16Speaker 1: dog Steve, Why are you coming like that? Because I
- 7:18Speaker 1: did it like that. I did it, man. I was
- 7:22Speaker 1: over here trying to reshape my life, getting myself up
- 7:24Speaker 1: on my feet when I was a homeless man and
- 7:26Speaker 1: trying to come back man, I thought I had to
- 7:28Speaker 1: take care of me first and then so I can
- 7:30Speaker 1: neglect it careing about them kids. Man, that ain't high work. Man.
- 7:34Speaker 1: God kept us knee on my neck for a long
- 7:36Speaker 1: time for that one right there, until I finally learned
- 7:39Speaker 1: the lesson. Hold up, man, put these phone calls in,
- 7:43Speaker 1: Go spend some time, do something, And then it started
- 7:47Speaker 1: turning around for me. You know, I can't beat there
- 7:49Speaker 1: all the time because I am out here on the
- 7:51Speaker 1: ground in the hustle. But at the same time, Man,
- 7:54Speaker 1: some more phone calls, some more letters, some moohaha, he
- 7:57Speaker 1: he's something. Then take care of your business. Man. You
- 8:03Speaker 1: got to work hard to be successful. You know. Sometimes
- 8:06Speaker 1: I don't put that in there. I just live in
- 8:08Speaker 1: and I expect my sons to emulate that. But I
- 8:10Speaker 1: gotta talk to him all the time. How hard you
- 8:13Speaker 1: got to work to be something. It's all out of
- 8:16Speaker 1: salt on it. Man. If you gotta target in mind,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you gotta go. You gotta wake up every day trying
- 8:21Speaker 1: to get there, and you can't get tired of it
- 8:25Speaker 1: because it's it's it never ends. You're gonna always be
- 8:30Speaker 1: this way. That's how life is designed and set up.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You got to be a hard worker. Man. If you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: always looking for some time to chill, and man, I
- 8:38Speaker 1: wanta go do what I want to do, you ain't
- 8:40Speaker 1: gonna make it. In order to be successful, you have
- 8:44Speaker 1: to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and work is the thing that most of us are
- 8:50Speaker 1: uncomfortable doing. It's so much easier to chill, man. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: wish I could kick back with a cigar man all
- 8:56Speaker 1: the time, but I can't, Man, I can't because I
- 9:03Speaker 1: got to work. Then, the last piece of the balance
- 9:10Speaker 1: balance piece is you gotta take some time out to
- 9:12Speaker 1: enjoy yourself. But if you ain't where you wanna be,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you ain't got a lot of time to enjoy yourself.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Quit thinking, man, that this balance is even. It's a
- 9:24Speaker 1: whole lot of God, a whole lot of family, a
- 9:27Speaker 1: whole lot of business, and a little bit of chilling.
- 9:31Speaker 1: The chilling can't be equal to the family, the business,
- 9:35Speaker 1: or your God. If the chilling is equal to any
- 9:37Speaker 1: of them, you ain't gonna make it. Quit chilling, man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and go to work like a man. Do what you
- 9:44Speaker 1: post to do. Work on your family, work on your relationship,
- 9:47Speaker 1: work on your God, work on your business. And then
- 9:50Speaker 1: when you chill, you might not chill is long, but
- 9:52Speaker 1: you show gonna chill bigger, You're gonna ball bigger babies.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening now, I have your undivided attention. Please as usual,

- 10:37Speaker 1: going to school and they're going to school to learn,

- 12:29Speaker 1: changed my attitude. I just really did. I just really
- 12:33Speaker 1: really did. And it just helped me. Man helped me
- 12:35Speaker 1: in a great way. So I'm feeling pretty comfortable. Man
- 12:39Speaker 1: ready and excite it ready to give him a day
- 12:41Speaker 1: off to a great start. I like work to do today,
- 12:43Speaker 1: a lot of dreams to feel. Thank God for the
- 12:45Speaker 1: opportunity to live yet another day and be giving the

- 13:43Speaker 1: You want you see things Shirley from time to time. Yeah,
- 13:48Speaker 1: and if you see it and it's happening, don't care
- 13:51Speaker 1: what it is. It ain't you damn business. It's not.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It's not at all. It's not at all. For instance,
- 13:57Speaker 1: you and check you little church. Right. Yeah, somebody puts
- 14:00Speaker 1: in a five. Yeah, they put the five plate, put
- 14:04Speaker 1: the five in, and they they got a twenty. That
- 14:10Speaker 1: got to do with the year. I didn't know how
- 14:14Speaker 1: that hurt you tell why what is that could have
- 14:21Speaker 1: been from last week? It might have been old. He's
- 14:23Speaker 1: probably gonna have got it, James last week. The only
- 14:27Speaker 1: one it is is if I'm sitting next to you
- 14:30Speaker 1: and I just put the twinter, that's the only one
- 14:33Speaker 1: you get. That twenty you get another twinter. But if
- 14:37Speaker 1: you touch the twenty pund and then you gonna be
- 14:43Speaker 1: in the pastors. Yeah, you got it, absolutely, absolutely, all right, junior,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you got one. I'll tell you what. When the baby
- 14:50Speaker 1: come out white and he pitched black, that ain't been nothing.
- 14:54Speaker 1: That's none of you. And I say, I ain't even
- 14:59Speaker 1: not say that. Let's go along with just go along
- 15:05Speaker 1: with it that there ain't none of your nobody a
- 15:14Speaker 1: matter of fact, just say what you know, I'm just
- 15:15Speaker 1: saying that beautiful baby, that's a beautiful. Let me say
- 15:23Speaker 1: this ahead, man, if you come home Earn and your
- 15:27Speaker 1: daddy got on your mama blind, that you that ain't
- 15:31Speaker 1: none of my bus Just back out out of black
- 15:37Speaker 1: back come home Earn and your daddy got on your
- 15:45Speaker 1: mama blind, you back back back out and make some
- 15:52Speaker 1: noise that you got a co work that looks exactly
- 16:05Speaker 1: like amble roll. Okay, but the next day, she Beyonce,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I can't agree with that. Well I have come from.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Don't worry about it, however, put it on out of it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I like that, all right. I got one of that. One.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You know for a fact, your neighbor's lights are out,
- 16:36Speaker 1: you know the out, Yeah, you know the out because
- 16:39Speaker 1: he ain't watching TV nothing. It's dog over there round
- 16:42Speaker 1: eight o'clock. But the next day you see him climbing
- 16:45Speaker 1: that pole to try to get his lights back on.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Is that you? Why are you talking for? What? For? What? Yeah?
- 16:57Speaker 1: What you're bringing out over that? Ain't got nothing to
- 16:59Speaker 1: do it? Called like them all right? Then. One if
- 17:04Speaker 1: you walk outside and see a cop put a boot
- 17:08Speaker 1: on your neighbor's car, right, is that any of you?
- 17:12Speaker 1: That ain't none of you? As long as you just
- 17:16Speaker 1: gotta keep walking, keep walking. I'll tell you something else
- 17:19Speaker 1: close to that too. If I'm out in the parking
- 17:22Speaker 1: lot and a co worker mind that I do not
- 17:25Speaker 1: care for, and I see somebody stealing his car, that
- 17:29Speaker 1: immediately it comes none of my Yeah he killed. That
- 17:33Speaker 1: transaction is complete. I probably ain't gonna say, give me
- 17:41Speaker 1: more pleasure to go back in there and go man. Yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 1: But I just saw somebody drive off the car. I
- 17:48Speaker 1: actually saw him buster one day. That's the pleasure. Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: it took five minutes of hot water when I set
- 17:54Speaker 1: through the whole thing. If you don't like the go
- 17:57Speaker 1: or you actually can't assist it, you ain't got to
- 17:59Speaker 1: rush dot. I got one. I think we all haven't
- 18:06Speaker 1: seen this one. I have seen somebody run through the
- 18:10Speaker 1: parking lot at the airport, get to the airport, to
- 18:13Speaker 1: the ticketing and then get in a wheelchair and roll
- 18:17Speaker 1: right through with somebody pushing them. It ain't but I
- 18:21Speaker 1: really want to say something. We was in Vegas one time,
- 18:29Speaker 1: campbell all night and we was missing the flight. So
- 18:33Speaker 1: when we pulling about the curtain, I told him I
- 18:37Speaker 1: needed a wheelchair. They gave me a wheelchair. You know
- 18:41Speaker 1: in Vegas, man, that airport line is. They took me
- 18:46Speaker 1: to the front of security, the front of TSA. I
- 18:50Speaker 1: stood up real ginger, put my stuff on the conveyor belt.
- 18:55Speaker 1: They walked that wheelchair through. I went right on through that.
- 18:57Speaker 1: The lady came back with the wheelchair. I see the
- 19:00Speaker 1: trains now, I'm good. I got here right, No business
- 19:10Speaker 1: you got here when you saw the trade. I got
- 19:12Speaker 1: one I got one. That one. You're in the grocher.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You see a lady, You see a lady. You see
- 19:17Speaker 1: a lady, take a ham. I'm ti you take your hand.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm in there ahead. He takes a ham, some chips,
- 19:25Speaker 1: some solders, a pound of grapes, put them in her
- 19:30Speaker 1: crotch and walk right out. Not in the bathroom. Is
- 19:33Speaker 1: that your business? Does that bother you? No? That's strong.
- 19:38Speaker 1: That's a strong crotch. A lot of stuff that's you crotching.
- 19:50Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I have to respect that.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You put a ham, You put a ham and hold
- 20:00Speaker 1: their hand. Weren't But yeah, that's all right, Yeah, no, no,
- 20:14Speaker 1: that's wrong her number when you go kind of like
- 20:20Speaker 1: when you see people go to the dressing room, they
- 20:23Speaker 1: take five shirts and they go back there. But didn't
- 20:27Speaker 1: they come back with one at your damn? But they
- 20:34Speaker 1: look ye all right? Just is it's time for nephew
- 20:38Speaker 1: Tommy's run that brank back. When we come back. You're
- 20:41Speaker 1: listening to Steve Hary Morning Show. It is time for
- 20:45Speaker 1: the nephew to run that prank back. This is my til,
- 20:49Speaker 1: the neighbor. This brank is my til. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 20:53Speaker 1: trying to reach mister, mister Kenny's. Yeah, this is how
- 20:57Speaker 1: you doing. I'm actually calling you from the seafood house.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You you you came and had you. I waited on you.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You came and had uh dinner over here the other name. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm about two nights ago. Yeah, I was your food.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I was a service. Um, everything was good. Um, I don't.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I don't have any complaints. I always enjoy when I
- 21:19Speaker 1: come there. Um, I don't. I never got a phone
- 21:22Speaker 1: call from you. Got everything all right? Yeah? Yeah, everything.
- 21:25Speaker 1: So I'm actually uh, I don't know if you're remembering
- 21:28Speaker 1: me waiting on you, but I actually waited on you. Okay, okay,
- 21:31Speaker 1: how you doing? I'm good with Would you say, would
- 21:33Speaker 1: you say that my service was was was pretty good
- 21:36Speaker 1: enough to par Yeah? Like I said, man, everything was
- 21:39Speaker 1: excellent every time I come there. The food is great,
- 21:42Speaker 1: The service is good. Um, I have no complaints. Everything
- 21:45Speaker 1: is is good. Okay, good good deal, good deal. Mister Kenney.

- 22:02Speaker 1: can ask you a question, if you don't mind, sure, okay.
- 22:05Speaker 1: If the service was so good and you enjoyed everything,
- 22:11Speaker 1: why why why you? Why you took me the way
- 22:12Speaker 1: you did? Excuse me? Why did I do? Well? You
- 22:16Speaker 1: know you you you you didn't even even close to
- 22:19Speaker 1: ten percent? You know I would just I just you call.

- 22:32Speaker 1: nor have I gotten a call from you guys. So
- 22:34Speaker 1: how did you get my phone number? Well, I'm just

- 22:41Speaker 1: the courtesy. Hey, that's fine, but how did you You
- 22:44Speaker 1: didn't answer my question? How did you get my phone number?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Because I didn't give it to anybody there? So you
- 22:49Speaker 1: you you've done something that to obtain why I went
- 22:52Speaker 1: on it? I went on and the research and whether
- 22:54Speaker 1: it took to get a number, So yeah, I did.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I You know, it was just a bother to me
- 22:58Speaker 1: that that you took me the way you did. Well,
- 23:00Speaker 1: it's bothering me that you calling me, uh in the
- 23:03Speaker 1: middle of the day asking me about a tip. First
- 23:06Speaker 1: of all, uh, you said how much? Did you say?

- 23:23Speaker 1: used to work for kills, bro, so let me explain
- 23:25Speaker 1: that to you. I used to work for chips and

- 24:19Speaker 1: you were somebody that worked for some tip that you
- 24:21Speaker 1: would know how to come in and tip. Somebody leaves
- 24:23Speaker 1: at least fifteen percent. Man, I can't even understand how
- 24:27Speaker 1: how you come in, you bawling, You know you don't

- 28:19Speaker 1: Y'all coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment
- 28:25Speaker 1: and national news that's coming up right after this. You're
- 28:28Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, so guys,
- 28:34Speaker 1: let's talk about job increases. Now, hush, The medical field
- 28:39Speaker 1: is seeing the biggest increases in job raises. Didn't know that.
- 28:43Speaker 1: While jobs in the medical industry have rising incomes, most
- 28:47Speaker 1: required an advanced degree that comes with high debt, shrinking
- 28:52Speaker 1: job wages and positions due to automation like computers and
- 28:56Speaker 1: robots taking them over. So I gotta ask you, well,
- 28:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, guys, and then I'll ask you
- 29:02Speaker 1: a question. Which jobs made the list for best salary increases.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Here we go, Steve, These are just for regular people, now, okay,
- 29:10Speaker 1: regular people with regular paying jobs by the same okay.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Number one, Family and general practitioners. Okay, all right, they
- 29:23Speaker 1: make the best salary increases. Compensation and benefits managers that's two.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Surgeons came in, number three, Number four psychiatrists interesting, yeah.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Five airline pilots, co pilots and flight engineers. That's five
- 29:40Speaker 1: that saw an increased personal financial advisors. Number six, anesthesiologists
- 29:46Speaker 1: number seven, Yeah, they make money, they make good money.
- 29:49Speaker 1: And number eight orthodonis. Exactly. I said these are regular people, now,
- 29:55Speaker 1: not true. I could do that. Ansteeology I can put
- 29:58Speaker 1: you put your butt under. I canna do that? Really
- 30:01Speaker 1: now you can't. Yeah, you're just hold that man's cuff
- 30:04Speaker 1: on the monk and they found dog dog. That's a
- 30:06Speaker 1: hard job right there. That the most important job because
- 30:09Speaker 1: you have to be precise. You can't have given you
- 30:13Speaker 1: got all of that. You gotta know exactly what you're doing. Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 1: you gotta know what you're doing. You still think you
- 30:19Speaker 1: can do it, I can do it. Put you have
- 30:23Speaker 1: been put under. Yeah, I've been put on. Man. It's
- 30:25Speaker 1: the most amazing thing. You wake up, you feel like
- 30:30Speaker 1: you've been going like five minutes, yeah, twelve, I know.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I went in to get all four of my wisdom
- 30:35Speaker 1: feel out and you wake up. Was like, we done,
- 30:38Speaker 1: You're done. Did you do it? And the teeth nothing.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I got put under because I had four wisdom teeth
- 30:49Speaker 1: taken out. Ye one time and two screw implants in
- 30:53Speaker 1: my job, all in one operation. Because I told you
- 30:56Speaker 1: us to look, I'm not coming back in it. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: one time. But to take too much me. He put
- 31:01Speaker 1: me out, he said during the surgery. He said, first
- 31:06Speaker 1: time in his life. He said, you came to mister
- 31:10Speaker 1: Harvey and said I'm gonna need some more drugs. You know,
- 31:20Speaker 1: feel it. I wish there was a way I could
- 31:23Speaker 1: under my head and leave it at the dnist office
- 31:26Speaker 1: and come back and pick it up. So what Steve,
- 31:30Speaker 1: you couldn't You said you couldn't feel it. No, the
- 31:32Speaker 1: dentist told me that's what I did. Wow said the
- 31:37Speaker 1: first time I've ever in my career heard a person
- 31:41Speaker 1: wake up out of it and under anesthesia and then
- 31:45Speaker 1: request more. Wow, like you just a doctor, and I
- 31:51Speaker 1: just said, man, I gotta get this guy more because
- 31:53Speaker 1: he's conscious. And then you went right back and then
- 31:56Speaker 1: woke up and you were fine. He said, first I've
- 31:58Speaker 1: ever seen it him drugs. Man, I had an nsdgias.
- 32:01Speaker 1: One time I was having a third to Redonda procedure
- 32:04Speaker 1: done and they'd be so happy though, they'd the happiest
- 32:08Speaker 1: people in the room. He came in blasted, I know
- 32:12Speaker 1: you won't to leave me, but if you read thought,
- 32:15Speaker 1: you will go if I have to. Man, he was
- 32:19Speaker 1: so funny, and they know I was gone. You gott
- 32:22Speaker 1: and they talked to you like where would you like
- 32:24Speaker 1: to go on vacation? And yeah, like that question. You
- 32:28Speaker 1: never Yeah, you drifted off and you wake up and
- 32:30Speaker 1: it's all over. Yeah, it is. It's a very RESTful sleep,
- 32:35Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, all right, Steve. Time for today's headline,
- 32:39Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne trip. Thank you, Steve. Good
- 32:42Speaker 1: morning everybody. This is a trip. The focus in Washington
- 32:45Speaker 1: yesterday was on the House Judiciary Committee, as lawyers for
- 32:48Speaker 1: both Democratic and Republican legislators made their case for either
- 32:51Speaker 1: impeaching or not impeaching President Donald Trump. Daniel Goldman represents
- 32:54Speaker 1: the Democrats. The GOP's attorney with Stephen Castor, the President
- 32:58Speaker 1: placed his personal interests above the nation's interests in order
- 33:02Speaker 1: to help his own reelection efforts. Democrats seek to impeach
- 33:06Speaker 1: President Trump not because they have evidence of high crimes
- 33:08Speaker 1: or misdemeanors, but because they disagree with this policy. So
- 33:11Speaker 1: that's their positions. President Trump continues to refuse to participate
- 33:14Speaker 1: in any way, dismissing the House in Korea as partisan sham,
- 33:18Speaker 1: but Trump says he's willing to cooperate with the process
- 33:21Speaker 1: once the lands in the Republican dominated US Senate. Meanwhile,
- 33:24Speaker 1: official articles of impeachment are expected to be announced by
- 33:27Speaker 1: the House Judiciary Committee this morning, maybe as early as
- 33:30Speaker 1: nine o'clock Eastern time. One is expected to concern abusive
- 33:34Speaker 1: power as it relates to his alleged arm twisting of
- 33:37Speaker 1: Ukrainian officials to investigate Joe Biden, and another is expected
- 33:40Speaker 1: to be obstruction of Congress, referring to the Trump administration's
- 33:44Speaker 1: continued refusal to cooperate or honor Congressional subpoenas. Trump was
- 33:49Speaker 1: on the receiving end of some disappointing news yesterday. For
- 33:51Speaker 1: months of Trump administrations claimed that the Russian election meddling
- 33:54Speaker 1: pro was the deep state hoax designed to destroy the president,
- 33:58Speaker 1: that Trump was persecuted by form president Obama, and that
- 34:01Speaker 1: the real traders are going to be found out and
- 34:02Speaker 1: locked up well. The report by the Justice Departments in
- 34:05Speaker 1: partial watchdog on why the FBI began looking into Russia
- 34:09Speaker 1: in the first places found that there were some mistakes
- 34:11Speaker 1: made in the process, but that they were all minor,
- 34:14Speaker 1: not in violation of any laws, and not politically partisan.
- 34:18Speaker 1: The Washington Post says, get this. Three White House administrations
- 34:21Speaker 1: have made the eighteen year old war in Afghanistan look
- 34:24Speaker 1: winnable to the American people when it really isn't. The
- 34:27Speaker 1: Pentagon says it never meant to mislead anyone about that
- 34:30Speaker 1: the World Anti Doping Agency has banned Russia from all
- 34:33Speaker 1: global sporting events for four years over alleged chemical cheating.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Sad news from the World of Entertainment. Two notes. By
- 34:39Speaker 1: the way, the puppeteer who worked inside two of the
- 34:42Speaker 1: sesame seats most popular characters has died. Carol Spiney was
- 34:45Speaker 1: the man inside Big Bird and the Cookie Monster. That's right,
- 34:52Speaker 1: he was Cookie Monster. He was eighty five years old. Also,
- 34:55Speaker 1: actor Renee Albougnois also has passed. Albujnois was perhaps remembered
- 34:59Speaker 1: the best is Robert Gillam's tall, skinny immediate Boss and
- 35:02Speaker 1: Benson I Wish You Want was seventy nine years old.
- 35:10Speaker 1: He also started the Star Trek, one of the Redos.
- 35:13Speaker 1: He was like the Monster and some other kind of stuff.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everyone, you're
- 35:18Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time for comedy Roulette
- 35:23Speaker 1: guys Jayson. Yeah, each week we could tested with a
- 35:26Speaker 1: comedy ability. Give us five subjects. Put him on a wheel,
- 35:29Speaker 1: Spin the wheel, wed stop what you got? All right?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Here we go? All right? Number one. Every time you
- 35:39Speaker 1: say something, they try to top. That's a good steps.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Here's what you say. Here's number two. Number two, why
- 35:49Speaker 1: is your kids so fat? We do that, We do that.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Number three people who go from zero to sixty's Tommy? Four?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Big girls with little men? Yeah? God. Number five broke
- 36:12Speaker 1: people who you don't know are broke until the check comes.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Who's that send the wheel? Cats in the wheel? Oh
- 36:30Speaker 1: here it is. It is with you guy. People who
- 36:32Speaker 1: go from zero to sixty. My god. Working with somebody
- 36:37Speaker 1: like this, let me tell you it is a nightmare.
- 36:41Speaker 1: And then they're from Houston. That's all I'm saying. I
- 36:44Speaker 1: ain't talking about the name they're from. Using everything is
- 36:48Speaker 1: a damn argument. Not that your voice with a high voice.
- 36:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about? High voice, argument about nursing. Zero.
- 36:58Speaker 1: We're talking I think you know any full blown hunting man.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Good day, get dame? Wow, do you have one, Steve.
- 37:12Speaker 1: A person doesn't have to be somebody you work with
- 37:17Speaker 1: zero on the sixty. Okay, Well, since we're talking about
- 37:20Speaker 1: people we worked with, I think Sherley, I think go
- 37:25Speaker 1: from zero sixty. Every time I turn around, she man
- 37:28Speaker 1: by someone that bulls always correcting you. You can't say
- 37:32Speaker 1: nothing wrong. Isn't it ain't this isn't I means soon?
- 37:38Speaker 1: Did you take something like she right there, like we
- 37:41Speaker 1: got to deal with that? Do you say something to it?
- 37:43Speaker 1: And she just started drawing. She started drawing right now
- 37:46Speaker 1: all of a sudden, and we're making a flower. It
- 37:49Speaker 1: don't really look like a flower. Dam flowers that look
- 37:53Speaker 1: like that anyway. Here on the sixty not only not
- 37:58Speaker 1: only zero to six, and once they reached sixty, they
- 38:02Speaker 1: shut down. They got nothing down that. Now, let's say
- 38:04Speaker 1: they quiet shut it down then after that, so you're okay,
- 38:12Speaker 1: we cool, No, we cool, No, no we all no,
- 38:16Speaker 1: hell no, let's just move on. No no, let's just
- 38:19Speaker 1: move No no, no, no no, let's just going to
- 38:22Speaker 1: do the show because that's comment right there. No no,
- 38:26Speaker 1: hell no, you get the attitude now, no no, no, no, no, no,
- 38:30Speaker 1: no here here fit it's always me. All right. We'll
- 38:38Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show

- 51:45Speaker 1: won't give me his password. Dear Steve and Shirley, My
- 51:50Speaker 1: fiance and I have been together for four years. When
- 51:53Speaker 1: we were dating, I would sneak and go through his
- 51:56Speaker 1: phone to see his text messages and call logs. He
- 51:59Speaker 1: didn't have a password on his phone at the time.
- 52:01Speaker 1: One day I went through his phone and I found
- 52:04Speaker 1: exactly what I was looking for. I saw that my
- 52:06Speaker 1: man had been texting his child's mom for a month
- 52:10Speaker 1: and the texas to her were sexually explicit. She had
- 52:16Speaker 1: sent him multiple pictures of herself and they called each
- 52:19Speaker 1: other baby on the messages without saying anything to him
- 52:22Speaker 1: Because I knew he would lie. I contacted his child's
- 52:26Speaker 1: mom and she confirmed that they were seeing each other
- 52:29Speaker 1: again but had not had sex. Shit. I broke up
- 52:32Speaker 1: with my boyfriend immediately. A month later, after all of
- 52:36Speaker 1: his apologies and sweet gifts, he asked me to marry him.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Everything is going great now except for one thing. My
- 52:43Speaker 1: fiance has recently put a password on his phone. I
- 52:47Speaker 1: have asked him for his password numerous times, but he
- 52:51Speaker 1: won't give it to me. I have also tried to
- 52:53Speaker 1: figure out the password, but with no luck. I know
- 52:56Speaker 1: I'm wrong for snooping, but I need that password. He
- 53:00Speaker 1: told me to just let it go and trust him.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I don't want to marry a cheater. Please advise. Okay,
- 53:08Speaker 1: you're not ready. I mean really, you're already having trust
- 53:11Speaker 1: issues with this man before you've even walked down the aisle.
- 53:15Speaker 1: You do not trust him. That's why you're snooping. That's
- 53:17Speaker 1: why you're upset that he got a password on his phone.
- 53:21Speaker 1: So how do you think this marriage is gonna work?
- 53:23Speaker 1: I mean, you'll be constantly thinking about him and his
- 53:26Speaker 1: baby mama. What are they doing? Are they sleeping together?
- 53:29Speaker 1: And please believe me they are Okay? No, matter what
- 53:33Speaker 1: she said, they're sleeping together. He's got a password anyway, No,
- 53:37Speaker 1: they're not. She would have told him. You think the
- 53:40Speaker 1: woman would have told it. Oh, she would have told me,
- 53:42Speaker 1: she said, yet though, all right, you would be asking,
- 53:46Speaker 1: you know, has she sent any more pictures? Et cetera,
- 53:48Speaker 1: et cetera. You just the trust issues are too great
- 53:51Speaker 1: right now. So your choices are marry him and always
- 53:55Speaker 1: be wondering, you know, and worried not having peace, or
- 53:58Speaker 1: not marry him and wait until you know you can rebuild,
- 54:01Speaker 1: or in this case, I think, builds some trust in
- 54:04Speaker 1: your relationship. He hit him. Apologizing and giving you sweet
- 54:08Speaker 1: gifts they're great, but his behavior needs to change. Actions
- 54:11Speaker 1: should go with those apologies and those gifts. He should
- 54:15Speaker 1: have done that before he proposed. Steve, Well, Shirley, you're
- 54:21Speaker 1: reading this letter from the standpoint of a woman who
- 54:27Speaker 1: has been hurt, and I understand, Okay, you are reading

- 55:11Speaker 1: My question, do you hear? Do you still won't be
- 55:14Speaker 1: his fiance? If you want to be his fiance, could

- 55:31Speaker 1: the question, why did you do that? All people say,
- 55:37Speaker 1: if you go looking for trouble, you're gonna find it now.
- 55:43Speaker 1: He didn't have a password on his phone at the time.
- 55:45Speaker 1: One day I went through his phone and found exactly
- 55:48Speaker 1: what I was looking for. You was looking for trouble.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You found it. Now it's gonna be a problem. I
- 55:59Speaker 1: saw that my man had been texting his child's mom
- 56:03Speaker 1: for a month, and the text to her was sexually explicit.
- 56:08Speaker 1: She had sent him several pictures of herself and they
- 56:11Speaker 1: called each other baby on the message. Without saying anything
- 56:16Speaker 1: to him because I knew he would lie I contacted
- 56:22Speaker 1: his child's mom. She confirmed that they were seeing each
- 56:25Speaker 1: other again, but had not had sex yet. I broke
- 56:30Speaker 1: up with my boyfriend immediately. Okay, Now, you went in
- 56:35Speaker 1: that looking for what you wanted to find. You found
- 56:37Speaker 1: exactly what you thought you'd find. Now you call the girl.
- 56:43Speaker 1: She confirmed that they had been talking but had not
- 56:46Speaker 1: had sex yet. You immediately went and broke up with
- 56:49Speaker 1: your boyfrid Okay, cool. Why why are we back at
- 56:52Speaker 1: this letter? Why is it motive this letter? Now? I'm
- 56:58Speaker 1: gonna tell you why. Because a mom later, after all
- 57:02Speaker 1: his apologies and sweet gifts, he asked me to marry him.
- 57:06Speaker 1: But didn't you say yes? Did not you say yes?
- 57:09Speaker 1: That's why you all have become fiances, because you said yes.
- 57:15Speaker 1: After all you knew, and all you found and all
- 57:18Speaker 1: you heard. He asked you to marry him with some
- 57:22Speaker 1: sweet gifts and apologies, and you said yes. Where Everything

- 57:36Speaker 1: did you expect him? Do you know why he put
- 57:41Speaker 1: the password on the phone? Because everything is going great now?
- 57:48Speaker 1: Why would he allow it to not to continue to
- 57:52Speaker 1: go great? You already go through phones looking for stuff.
- 57:57Speaker 1: So now he didn't put a password on his phone.
- 58:01Speaker 1: And you know why I put the password on this

- 58:24Speaker 1: won't give me his password. The question I have for
- 58:26Speaker 1: you is do you still won't be his fiance? If
- 58:30Speaker 1: you do, you got could ask you for this pas
- 58:33Speaker 1: because the last time you went through his phone, you
- 58:37Speaker 1: said you find what you was looking for. He was
- 58:40Speaker 1: talking to his child, baby mama. Him and the baby
- 58:44Speaker 1: mama been a shade of bisons, called each other baby baby,
- 58:47Speaker 1: and they've been talking sexually. Explosion. But the woman you
- 58:50Speaker 1: call huck and you knew he was gonna lie. Anybody's
- 58:54Speaker 1: gonna sit him telling like, yeah, I'm calling huh, that's
- 58:59Speaker 1: a lie. Anybody gladly tail. So she said you hadn't
- 59:04Speaker 1: had it, so you're just hadn't sex. So you broke
- 59:06Speaker 1: up immediately. Now after a bunch of sweet gifts and
- 59:14Speaker 1: some apologies and talking nice. He asked you to marry him.
- 59:18Speaker 1: You said, yes, that's how y'all, fiance, m Everything is
- 59:25Speaker 1: going great now except for one thing. My fiance has
- 59:30Speaker 1: recently put a password on the phone. Like I said
- 59:33Speaker 1: before the break, the reason he put the password on
- 59:37Speaker 1: the phone is cause everything is going great and your
- 59:41Speaker 1: nose ass ain't gonna leave it at that. Now I
- 59:45Speaker 1: have asked him for his password numerous times, but he
- 59:50Speaker 1: won't give it to me. Why would he give you
- 59:55Speaker 1: this password? So you start calling people? Now you all
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: down on this job? Was was Larry at work Friday?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: See you? You see it? Once you called one person,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: your fiance gotta figure you could call anyway? Who is
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Bishop Anita? Bishop Anita is in the soul saving biss
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and you should leave it at that. So now I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have tried to figure out the password, but with no luck.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: You got a lot of time. Now let me tell
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: you why you're not gonna figure this pass word out,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Because once our password is complicated, once we've been busted.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Ain't my birthdays? Oh that ain't that? Ain't You ain't
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: gonna get the birthday. You ain't gonna get so security.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: But last foe. You know you ain't gonna get you
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: know you ain't. I number change when I was out
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: there playing my every day, my pass word changed. Whatever
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: the lottery number was the night before, that was my password.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: And you do not have voicemail for not a matter
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: of fact. My my, my passwords so complicated. I used
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the V number on my damn car, damn twenty seven
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: numbers you got damn that had a registration in your
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: hand to get in my phone when I was out
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: there working. Come on, man, my my damn password has
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: actually been the key to the vote at Folk Knocks.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Come on, man, mom, my password has actually been the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: birthday or the folk Chicks I was dating. Come on,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: hill bar that my hard I come on, give me
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: some more. My password has actually been my social curiting
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: number minus the Einstein equation Newton's law of m season. Yeah, man, yeah,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you had to know something. My last password I had
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: two thousand and five was the middle of you know
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: that three sided ruler you had in school. The middle
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: feathered two digits on that ruler was yeah, yeah, And dude,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I had a password one time that was the circumference
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: of the third watermelon on the first role at the
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: produce sex. Come on, boy, that's how hard? So you're
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: not gonna guess his password now? Then she says, I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: know I'm wrong for snooping, but I need that password. No,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you don't. Surely told you right. You need to be
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: in a loving, trusting relationship, but you're not. You need
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: that password for what? Because you know what You're gonna
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: find it now? Same thing you let him have him pictures?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Oh boy, you just say that. Why would he say it?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Because why would he say it? Because that sounds natural.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: He told me to just let it go and trust him.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I don't want to marry a cheetah. Please vibe. Listen

- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As a matter of fact,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: this is our last break of the day. Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. It's been a good day.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: We'll be back at forty nine after the hour. Right
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steven Show. All right, Steve, here
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: we are last break of the day. Time for your
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: closing remarks. Surely sent me something, and it got me
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: to thinking, I'm gonna share with you what she sent me,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: but I'm gonna paraphrase it. So it's more of how
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I talk, because sometimes I get a little stumbled up
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: and it doesn't sound like me if I try to
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: share directly with somebody with somebody sent me. So I
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: just want to talk to you about it. I want
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: to just talk to you about this life of abundance
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: that we are all qualified for. I want to talk
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: to you about the life of abundance that God really
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: wants all of us to enjoy. If you're a righteous person,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: God will give you a life of abundance. I didn't
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: say if you were a saved person, if you are
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: a member of this denomination, if you go to this church,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: if this is your pastor if this is your faith.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you that God has a life of abundance
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: for you if you put your trust and your faith
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: in Him. I'm just telling you, and you have to
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: understand that God has equipped you to have this life
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: of abundance. All of you have a gift that was
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: given to you by God at birth. Everyone has one.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Now you may not know what it is, but you
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: have it. But because you've been so bent, so determined
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: to do something to please somebody else, your mother wants
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: you to go to school and get a degree in
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: this well. I told him I was gonna come down
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: here and get a degree in that. So now I'm
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: gonna get a degree in that where my father went
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to the army, So I'm going to the army. You
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with the army. It's nothing wrong with
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: going to the army. But if that ain't really what
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: you were created for, you've fend to waste a lot
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: of time. Man, you really really are because God really
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: did equipped you for a life of abundance. When he
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: created you, he had a mission in mind for you.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: You had a mission in mind for me. He gave
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: you a gift. Your gifts is a thing that you
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: do the absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: If you identify that gift, that's your greatest chance. Now
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: here's a deal. When He prepared you for this life
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: of abundance, and he gave you everything you need it
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to put on every day and go out and make
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: your dreams and your life come true. If you put
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: if you become passionate about your gift, you can be
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: on your way to making your life happening and your
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: dreams come true. He gives you everything you need to
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: wear to go out and fight it. But what we
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: do is we suit up, We suit up, and we
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: settling in. Well, I got this job now, well out
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: of our four years away from getting this another degree,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I might as well go here. Well I got a promotion,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: now I might as well stay on here, well out
