- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them, like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million things in the coves, be good together. I don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join jo turn you you gotta turn to turn out,
- 1:42Speaker 1: turn you love, got to turn them out, turning water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come, come on, your bab I share
- 2:02Speaker 1: well a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me naw one and only Steve Harley
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I got one, And I
- 2:14Speaker 1: got a message for you today too. Something I was
- 2:16Speaker 1: thinking about that might help you along the way. The
- 2:20Speaker 1: thing I appreciate about so many people that I learned
- 2:23Speaker 1: from Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Joel Oldstein,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I can't tell you, and many more than that. I mean,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know I'm naming you know, famous people because I
- 2:39Speaker 1: know you know these names. But my father, who you
- 2:42Speaker 1: never met, was so great in my development as a man.
- 2:47Speaker 1: But my mother thought him mercy. My mother, she taught
- 2:52Speaker 1: me about faith. She gave me the things I needed
- 2:55Speaker 1: to know about what I speak about every day. That
- 2:59Speaker 1: basis was given to me by her. So it's so
- 3:01Speaker 1: many great people. But here's the thing that I've had
- 3:04Speaker 1: to learn, and that is that if God got you
- 3:08Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on. See, I can't tell
- 3:14Speaker 1: you how many people don't really pay attention to that
- 3:16Speaker 1: close enough. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Move on. How many times have we as people allowed
- 3:28Speaker 1: God to get us through something, get us beyond something,
- 3:32Speaker 1: get us over something, get us through something, and then
- 3:36Speaker 1: even after it's completion, we sit there and we dwell
- 3:41Speaker 1: on it, and we dwell on it to the point
- 3:43Speaker 1: where it becomes an anchor around our neck and we
- 3:46Speaker 1: can't move on. We can't move on because we just
- 3:52Speaker 1: won't let it go. It's done. If God got you
- 3:57Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on. Stop harboring on the pass.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Stop hanging on to every time you fail. Stop hanging
- 4:07Speaker 1: on to every time you slipped up and messed up.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Stop hanging on to every time you didn't get it right.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So what everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up, everybody don't
- 4:20Speaker 1: get it right, everybody struggling with something you ain't thought
- 4:25Speaker 1: only one but my God, Man, if God got you
- 4:30Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on. You hanging on to
- 4:35Speaker 1: it for that's why he got it, got you through it,
- 4:38Speaker 1: so you can move on from it. See a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of things that happened to us that we think are
- 4:44Speaker 1: negative or bad experience. These are lessons in what not
- 4:49Speaker 1: to do. This is a way to have a now
- 4:52Speaker 1: or bearing on look out for it. The next time
- 4:56Speaker 1: you got me once, you can't get me again. I'm
- 4:59Speaker 1: telling you, man, if God got you through it, it's done.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Move on. You have got to move on. I use
- 5:07Speaker 1: this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add a little
- 5:10Speaker 1: bit to it. Bishop Jake's told me you cannot drive
- 5:16Speaker 1: your car looking in the rearview mirror. See you know
- 5:22Speaker 1: what your rearview mirror is actually fall in your car.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Your rearview mirror is designed. After I pass a car
- 5:31Speaker 1: and I want to merge into that lane, or I
- 5:35Speaker 1: want to make another move, I look up in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: rearview mirror, and all I use it for it shows
- 5:42Speaker 1: me that I've gotten past it. I've gotten past the
- 5:46Speaker 1: vehicle I was passing, and I got enough room now
- 5:49Speaker 1: clear to make my next move. That's what I use
- 5:53Speaker 1: my rearview mirror for. I use my rearview mirror to
- 5:57Speaker 1: just glance up every now and then to see what's
- 5:59Speaker 1: coming up on me. That's all I use it for.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Listen to me real close. Now, your rearview mirror on
- 6:07Speaker 1: your car is after you're passing something, or you're passing
- 6:12Speaker 1: by something, you can look up in the rearview mirror
- 6:15Speaker 1: and it lets you know you're pasted it, you're beyond it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's clear now, it's in the past. You no longer
- 6:23Speaker 1: have to deal with it as the car that was
- 6:26Speaker 1: in front of you blocking your way. You have passed it.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You look up in the mirror, you've cleared it. Now
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you want to switch lanes, you could slide on over.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You got room. But that rearview mirror also lets you
- 6:41Speaker 1: see if anything is coming up on you, and you
- 6:44Speaker 1: just need to glance, because if you're moving forward, ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: a whole lot can come up on you. You're just
- 6:50Speaker 1: glancing every now and then, and it reminds you that
- 6:53Speaker 1: you got through something and you got beyond something. That's
- 6:56Speaker 1: what the rearview mirror for. Now, let's talk about that windshield.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Why you think that windshields so big on your car.
- 7:06Speaker 1: That's the biggest window on your car. You know why
- 7:10Speaker 1: the windshields so big because it's where you're going. Because
- 7:16Speaker 1: even the automobile makers want you to have a wide
- 7:19Speaker 1: view of where you're going so you can see what's
- 7:23Speaker 1: up ahead. They put lights on the card night so
- 7:26Speaker 1: you can have night vision and see what's up ahead.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But you can, oh, manh see not? Why is that look?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Think about that now for I move forward with this one.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Think about that windshield, man, why is that windshield so big?
- 7:40Speaker 1: So you can see where you're going? It's way more
- 7:44Speaker 1: important where you're going than where you're being, don't you
- 7:48Speaker 1: see that. That's why the rear view mirrors so small,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because it is nowhere in there as important as it
- 7:54Speaker 1: is as to where you're going. Why you being just
- 7:58Speaker 1: allows you to take a glance. You can make sure
- 8:00Speaker 1: you clear it so you can see if it's room
- 8:02Speaker 1: enough for you to make your next move, so you
- 8:05Speaker 1: can know that you've gone through it and go head
- 8:07Speaker 1: on about your business. But that windshield, that windshield is
- 8:11Speaker 1: for vision a man without a dream of visions your parish.
- 8:15Speaker 1: That windshield is for somebody going somewhere. That windshield is
- 8:19Speaker 1: for somebody else that trying to make another move. I'm
- 8:22Speaker 1: gonna go right, I'm on left. I'm gonna get off
- 8:24Speaker 1: on this exit. I'm gonna take this dtwol. I'm gonna
- 8:26Speaker 1: handle it signed as a new route. There's only so
- 8:29Speaker 1: many miles left to go. That's what the windshield got.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, man, when you see a
- 8:35Speaker 1: mile sign, you're driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate,
- 8:37Speaker 1: and you let's say you're driving to a particular city
- 8:40Speaker 1: and you see a sign that says that city is
- 8:43Speaker 1: thirty eight, one hundred and thirty eight miles away. That
- 8:47Speaker 1: lets you know where you're going, and you're on the
- 8:49Speaker 1: right path. Now, if you keep looking in the rear
- 8:52Speaker 1: view mirror, you'll never know how close you are. You'll
- 8:58Speaker 1: never know because you're driving your car. Look in the
- 9:01Speaker 1: review mirror. You all on the shoulder, you hit them,
- 9:03Speaker 1: rocks up under your car. You'd scared yourself to death
- 9:06Speaker 1: because you know why, because you keep looking in the
- 9:08Speaker 1: rearview mirror. Get out the rearview mirror. If God got
- 9:13Speaker 1: you through, it is done, move on. So what he
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't love you know more? And man, let's move on.
- 9:21Speaker 1: If God got you through, it's done, move on. God
- 9:25Speaker 1: got something for you. If you get out your rearview
- 9:27Speaker 1: mirror and get up in that windshield. God's got something
- 9:31Speaker 1: for your upp ahead, but you can't see what's up
- 9:34Speaker 1: ahead because you in that rearview mirror. If God got
- 9:37Speaker 1: you through, it is done. Let's move on. Come on, y'all,
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't let the pass beat you up. That's the ingredients
- 9:44Speaker 1: in the cake. You haven't made that already. That's done.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Let's go. God. Look in the windshield, see what God
- 9:50Speaker 1: Mobil got something new for you. If you get out
- 9:52Speaker 1: the rearview mirror and look, open up your eyes and see.
- 9:55Speaker 1: All right, let's go. Today. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: boys and girls. As usual, I call on all animal trainers,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Organ Grindless, why because you bring a lot? You know,

- 11:30Speaker 1: the greatest blackest moments you've ever had? Your greatest moment
- 11:35Speaker 1: of being black? Question. I'll tell you what. One time
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was homeless and I was driving. I got me
- 11:41Speaker 1: enough money and I stopped and I got me to
- 11:43Speaker 1: stay awake. I down south to head this cola called
- 11:46Speaker 1: Joke Cola j O LT Jokela. Yeah, And I bought
- 11:52Speaker 1: a Joke Cola and they had a moon pot. You know,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I used to love moon pot. Yeah, moon pies. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: liked the chocolate one and I liked the ennel one,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and I bought him chocolate moon pie. And as I
- 12:06Speaker 1: was walking out the store, I turned back and noticed
- 12:09Speaker 1: a sign in the window that said two moon pies
- 12:14Speaker 1: for the price of one, and all I had was one.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I took my ass back in that show with that
- 12:20Speaker 1: already open and eaten moon poe and demanded my other
- 12:26Speaker 1: moon pie. And I'm talking about I got into it
- 12:29Speaker 1: with this little foreign dude. I didn't know what country
- 12:32Speaker 1: he was from. But when I got through with his
- 12:35Speaker 1: hand telling him when he could go back and when
- 12:38Speaker 1: the next plane up out of here, wall if I
- 12:41Speaker 1: don't get this jail moon And I'm talking about man
- 12:45Speaker 1: like like he had took my credit card from me,
- 12:48Speaker 1: which I did. Yeah, was in his back over that
- 12:53Speaker 1: damn moon poe. And when he finally just he threw
- 12:56Speaker 1: the moon pipe at me. But I didn't want to
- 12:58Speaker 1: fight him because I didn't feel like going to jail.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He threw it in my chest and I caught it. Yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I say, yeah, walk my ass out to throw one
- 13:08Speaker 1: of my blackest moments full blow by the damn movie.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Why are we like this? Why do we you know
- 13:19Speaker 1: I was proud of that to this day. You know, listen,
- 13:27Speaker 1: black here's the moment right there, the life. We should
- 13:31Speaker 1: have more of those during Black History months. All right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:41Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. You're listening Stry Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for the nephew to
- 13:49Speaker 1: run that prank back. Nephew, what you got for us today? Well,

- 14:14Speaker 1: I am paying ties and love offerends, and I want

- 15:00Speaker 1: I put a hundred dollars in church on Sunday and
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm trying to get my one hundred dollars back. Okay,
- 15:05Speaker 1: did you not get from your heart? I gain from
- 15:07Speaker 1: my heart what I thought was gonna happen, but it
- 15:09Speaker 1: didn't happen. Okay, help help me, help you what you mean?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Did what didn't happen? What didn't happen, sir? Okay, Pastor
- 15:17Speaker 1: wasn't there. Pastor was not there on Sunday, and y'all
- 15:20Speaker 1: had this guest minister come in who I ain't like
- 15:24Speaker 1: him at all. But the dog on the offering was
- 15:28Speaker 1: before he even got up to preach, so I didn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: already game my offering, which was one hundred dollars, and
- 15:34Speaker 1: then I didn't even know Pastor wasn't Now you know
- 15:37Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So here I am giving one hundred dollars.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I know I'm gonna get the word when
- 15:42Speaker 1: Pastor there. But y'all put this dude up. He coming
- 15:45Speaker 1: from Don't nobody come from the book of Ruts, No, moro.
- 15:48Speaker 1: He was at ruth Lavillicus. He was all over the place.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I want to get my hundred dollars back. I ain't
- 15:54Speaker 1: given to that. Do you not read the bulletin? I
- 15:57Speaker 1: mean housing, do you even come to church? I come
- 15:59Speaker 1: to church. I mean, what does got to do with
- 16:01Speaker 1: any time? Well, if you were coming up often to
- 16:03Speaker 1: read the bulletins or you would have known that Pasha
- 16:06Speaker 1: took a vacation. He took a vacation, so so everybody
- 16:10Speaker 1: knew he wasn't gonna be there, yes, or the regulars,
- 16:13Speaker 1: the people that come regular the church, they know that, sir. Okay,
- 16:16Speaker 1: well I ain't know that. So I need I need
- 16:18Speaker 1: to get I need to get my money back. Okay,
- 16:20Speaker 1: well I need you to do though. It's calm down.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm coming. I'm just trying to say, I want to
- 16:25Speaker 1: get my hundred dollars. I'm not giving that sermon I
- 16:28Speaker 1: got on Sunday. I'm not giving one hundred dollars for that. Well, Sir,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I cannot give you one hundred dollars back. Okay. We
- 16:33Speaker 1: don't do no refund checks. I can't do that. Okay.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I have to wait your pass to get back in
- 16:37Speaker 1: because two people have to sign the checks. I can't
- 16:39Speaker 1: even do that for you, sir. Matter of fact, I'm
- 16:41Speaker 1: not even at work right now. Okay. So I'm not
- 16:43Speaker 1: gonna get my one hundred dollars back. Okay, sir, Why
- 16:46Speaker 1: don't you just call the church on tomorrow and then
- 16:48Speaker 1: we can go from there. Okay, I'm not calling. I'm
- 16:51Speaker 1: not calling the church tomorrow. I'll tell you what. You
- 16:53Speaker 1: know what, you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 16:55Speaker 1: come up there. Tomorrow and you're gonna give me my
- 16:57Speaker 1: one hundred dollars, either it's in a check or if
- 16:59Speaker 1: it cash. But you submister, sister Felicia Patterson, you're gonna
- 17:03Speaker 1: give me my damn money. You care? I'm gonna say,
- 17:07Speaker 1: what did you just cuss me? I just told you
- 17:10Speaker 1: that come tomorrow, I'm coming up there to get my

- 17:21Speaker 1: I dare you call he ain't cuss me asking for
- 17:24Speaker 1: some money back? You don't. Man, You're giving your money
- 17:27Speaker 1: from your heart and done, not a heart death, preaching
- 17:28Speaker 1: the way to God. You get because you love God.
- 17:31Speaker 1: You ever thought to me like I'll strip you naked, Jim,
- 17:34Speaker 1: And you know what, you better be glad this ain't
- 17:37Speaker 1: twenty years ago, because I'll accussed you from me cousey
- 17:40Speaker 1: But god, he's saying me because you know what. I
- 17:42Speaker 1: ain't gonna cuss you. But I tell you what I

- 24:11Speaker 1: So you know your sister ain't gonna speak to you.
- 24:16Speaker 1: But now you gotta be fair warning. Now if your
- 24:19Speaker 1: sister is not your duet partner, you know what she
- 24:24Speaker 1: gonna be. Then a drunk ass audience member a heckler

- 25:54Speaker 1: Last One Starla and Hampton says, my boyfriend and I
- 25:58Speaker 1: bought a house together, and he wants to put his
- 26:01Speaker 1: apartment furniture in the house. I have a lot of
- 26:04Speaker 1: nicer furniture than he does, but he says it's too girly.
- 26:10Speaker 1: We don't have money for new furniture, so shouldn't we
- 26:13Speaker 1: use my nice stuff, put your foot down, from your
- 26:18Speaker 1: foot down, had the ragged ass messing your house? What
- 26:23Speaker 1: kind of furniture does he have? Steve? He got them
- 26:26Speaker 1: old milk cars with the albums tilted in the sideways
- 26:30Speaker 1: because she owed her name Stalin. He got that love
- 26:33Speaker 1: seat of couch in the chill at all match. You
- 26:35Speaker 1: got that he got on the back of the TV
- 26:38Speaker 1: guy with the shade and her cali he made out
- 26:45Speaker 1: of her color came as trades to be over there
- 26:50Speaker 1: like a butcher Mama house. Butcher Mama had that. The
- 26:53Speaker 1: whole set was her color. She had lamp shades that
- 26:56Speaker 1: was the same fabric as the couch. This is the
- 26:59Speaker 1: ugliest damn house I've ever seat. It had that couch,
- 27:04Speaker 1: love seat, one lazy boy, two stands on each side,
- 27:09Speaker 1: a coffee table as trades, and an ornament. All that
- 27:16Speaker 1: was in gold and brown and black plaid. As soon
- 27:20Speaker 1: as you sit on it, it put them little balls
- 27:23Speaker 1: on it. That thing looked a year old after she
- 27:27Speaker 1: had it for a week. But but but I gotta
- 27:33Speaker 1: say this though, when they came out with that black locker,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I lost my mind. Back I gave you my money,
- 28:00Speaker 1: but I remember my ass. Boy, I bought a white
- 28:04Speaker 1: leather so far you're white, not lead that thing in
- 28:10Speaker 1: this stove. Boy, I wanted to take that thing back
- 28:14Speaker 1: down there so bad. I didn't you have water yeah
- 28:21Speaker 1: from rich water bed had it lay away this week?
- 28:24Speaker 1: It was rich Rich water Beds baby in Texas. Eight months,
- 28:30Speaker 1: eight months, eight weeks. That was a timely purchase for me.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Eight months. By time I got the water bed out,
- 28:41Speaker 1: they were damned. The out of style, didn't didn't have
- 28:45Speaker 1: a drawers underneath. Hell yeah, boy storage. And then they
- 28:51Speaker 1: said do you want the waveless? I went, hell now,
- 29:00Speaker 1: all right, guys, thank you. Cello. Coming up at the
- 29:02Speaker 1: top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment news for
- 29:05Speaker 1: you right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Tyrie nichols stepfather has publicly addressed the rumor that Tyree
- 29:15Speaker 1: was having a relationship with the wife of one of
- 29:18Speaker 1: the Memphis police officers involved in his deadly beating. His
- 29:22Speaker 1: stepfather denied the rumor that has been spread all over
- 29:25Speaker 1: social media, and if you aren't aware of the rumor,
- 29:28Speaker 1: claims were made without evidence that Tyree worked at FedEx
- 29:33Speaker 1: and Memphis with one of the officers wives, and that
- 29:36Speaker 1: he had a relationship with the woman. It's also been
- 29:39Speaker 1: rumored that the officer in question sent the woman a
- 29:41Speaker 1: picture of Tyree after the beating. Tyree's stepfather says the
- 29:46Speaker 1: rumors are false and they are reckless, and they have
- 29:50Speaker 1: been all over social media in the last few days.
- 29:54Speaker 1: How people just take stuff. They first of all, they
- 29:58Speaker 1: create stuff in their star runningway read all of us
- 30:01Speaker 1: for clicks. And it doesn't matter if for that the
- 30:04Speaker 1: expense of anything. It don't matter what it's at the
- 30:09Speaker 1: expense of your reputation, your feelings, your court facts. Nothing. Yeah, yeah, nothing, man.
- 30:18Speaker 1: We live in this society now. Man, it's just a
- 30:22Speaker 1: this is probably we'll see if the fact that the
- 30:25Speaker 1: fact of the matter is you can't justify what these
- 30:27Speaker 1: officers did to this young man. There's no justification. Not
- 30:32Speaker 1: only there's no justification with these rumors. If that were true,
- 30:37Speaker 1: then that changes the charges. See not did you plan this?
- 30:42Speaker 1: Is this is totally different. So, yeah, there needs to
- 30:47Speaker 1: be some facts of evidence to this. Don't try to
- 30:50Speaker 1: take the focus off what really happened, please, But you know,
- 30:54Speaker 1: I know the reality of it is there are no
- 30:58Speaker 1: charges for making false statements unless you're inside of a
- 31:02Speaker 1: court of law and you're hit with perjury. Other than that, man,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you can lie any about anything you want to do,
- 31:08Speaker 1: and they ain't true. They just get to walk away.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Skip to the loup mont Darling. We gotta start doing
- 31:14Speaker 1: something about these people that spread stuff that becomes harmful
- 31:18Speaker 1: to people's lives and things like that. I'm talking about
- 31:20Speaker 1: mostly now. It's like y'all said, there's nothing, nothing can
- 31:25Speaker 1: you can say about this beating nothing, no nothing, there's
- 31:29Speaker 1: no justification. Y'all beat this man to death. Ye'll need
- 31:32Speaker 1: to go to prison for that, and that's it. They're going, Yeah, yeah,
- 31:36Speaker 1: they going. They better do is take the plea deal.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Don't go in there, don't go to try. Well, no
- 31:43Speaker 1: take because it's take. We all thought. We all thought,
- 31:48Speaker 1: I don't know what police officers. Yeah no, no no,
- 31:52Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no. With white police, yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I was just they're black, they're black, Oh no no no.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Took a year and a half for them book. Then
- 32:05Speaker 1: we guys went they were white, they were white, white. White.
- 32:12Speaker 1: You don't want to have been there, man and been
- 32:14Speaker 1: into that culture. Unlike or the caller that we had
- 32:17Speaker 1: the email we had the other day, which was upset
- 32:20Speaker 1: saying it's not a part of the blue culture, but
- 32:23Speaker 1: it is very much a part, a small part of
- 32:27Speaker 1: the blue culture, and it affects the way a lot
- 32:31Speaker 1: of men and women in blue police. And like I said,
- 32:35Speaker 1: the vast majority of police officers, men and women are
- 32:40Speaker 1: in there doing the right thing. But you got enough
- 32:44Speaker 1: of them, and now we got video and so then
- 32:49Speaker 1: you know when they talking about it's not at all man,
- 32:54Speaker 1: this I can't even say what I want to say.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Go ahead, next question ship, all right, h next story
- 32:59Speaker 1: us years. We don't want to get you in trouble.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Changing dynamic that has showed us morning. We don't want
- 33:06Speaker 1: to do that. All right, We're gonna switch gears here.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Steve Chado Chosinko, we all know him. Chad has been
- 33:13Speaker 1: called he's being called the world's cheapest celebrity and athlete
- 33:18Speaker 1: in the world. During a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe's
- 33:21Speaker 1: Club Shasha podcast, Chado Chosinko discussed how being very smart
- 33:26Speaker 1: with his money during his NFL career ultimately allowed him
- 33:30Speaker 1: to save get this, eighty three percent of his salary.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Eighty three percent of his salary. He admitted to wearing
- 33:37Speaker 1: fake jewelry and opting to fly on Spirit airlines, overtaking
- 33:42Speaker 1: private jets. He also attributed this to how he saved
- 33:45Speaker 1: a lot of his money. He has been trending for
- 33:48Speaker 1: wearing the same outfit for at least three days because
- 33:52Speaker 1: he spent a lot of money on the close, he says,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and wants to get his money's worth. But in the interview,
- 33:56Speaker 1: Ochosinko did clarify that he spends money on what's important
- 34:00Speaker 1: to him, like his fiance and his children. Take a
- 34:04Speaker 1: listen with the missus. Oh she ain't having it them
- 34:06Speaker 1: eate them eight and a half carrots. Oh that's real, right,
- 34:09Speaker 1: Anything I perseve for her is very real. Yeah. So
- 34:13Speaker 1: the kids I allow them to do because it's a hinder.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And the nice stuff because I didn't save what eighty
- 34:18Speaker 1: eighty three percent of my salary, So it's okay. And
- 34:20Speaker 1: I have stuff coming in a ready, oh yes, still
- 34:23Speaker 1: coming in, Thank you Dougie, you know. And so so
- 34:27Speaker 1: life is good because I was able to sustain and
- 34:30Speaker 1: keep most of my wealth that I made when I
- 34:32Speaker 1: was playing, and life is still gonna go. So I
- 34:34Speaker 1: allow the kids to enjoy, but I needed to understand.
- 34:36Speaker 1: They cann't come a time. They got to get daddy payroll.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You had to get off that payroll. She did well,
- 34:47Speaker 1: But good luck with that when they're gonna get off
- 34:49Speaker 1: the payroll. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah for sure. Yeah, let
- 34:54Speaker 1: me know when that cutoffs. Which is available for sale? Green,

- 37:14Speaker 1: So I said, Amanda, why don't you read the bag.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So then she read the bag, she went, Wow, everything
- 37:21Speaker 1: in here is all natural, there's no processing. I said no.
- 37:25Speaker 1: So she tried it and she loved it, and now
- 37:29Speaker 1: her and her son ordered it. And they had to

- 41:04Speaker 1: was a black woman that invented to touchtone phone so

- 41:21Speaker 1: but damn it put some respect on it the end.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Who put some respect out at the end that trying
- 41:36Speaker 1: We're not going nowhere. Black history is American history. You
- 41:40Speaker 1: can't you can't put this out, can't tell the story
- 41:42Speaker 1: without us. Do it again? Come on again, go ahead,
- 41:48Speaker 1: go ahead, come on, give it up. Come on. It's
- 41:54Speaker 1: shocking for y'all can see for a fact because you
- 41:56Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, ye, shocking. I can't take us out
- 42:03Speaker 1: of the How you gonna have a history without Black
- 42:06Speaker 1: history nowhere? Come on, J I love it. Yeah, I'm
- 42:10Speaker 1: not sitting up a plan in Florida. You're gonna learn it. Well,
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if they can't learn it in Florida.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Turn the radio. I do another one by black history.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Y'all get all in history all month. We love it. J.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I know you got something on your mind. I can
- 42:27Speaker 1: see it. No, I really don't. I'm just gonna allow Junior,
- 42:31Speaker 1: as we go through Black History Month, to do his
- 42:34Speaker 1: version of how he sees this month playing out. Okay,
- 42:39Speaker 1: started off and encouraging way. I don't expect him to
- 42:42Speaker 1: be able to hold that just first. I got another
- 42:48Speaker 1: one very soon, just to start dwindling off. I don't
- 42:53Speaker 1: really want to rot twist. Really like getting excited about
- 43:01Speaker 1: little when they do something. Half fan. It's good because
- 43:05Speaker 1: you know it's called consistency. I'm a little concerned with
- 43:10Speaker 1: the house. Oh I am the house? Oh I got
- 43:18Speaker 1: I got by the time we get to them fit yep,
- 43:25Speaker 1: to be out of clever. Yea, every day. I just
- 43:31Speaker 1: did it for the first best Sunday, well old Monday.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Watch this, yea every day that first day you want?
- 43:46Speaker 1: You can't school. You ain't gonna do that. Yeah, my fingers.
- 43:52Speaker 1: See how he's spending a lot of time reiterating it,
- 43:55Speaker 1: kind of like Tommy on his pranks. You see this,
- 43:59Speaker 1: I don't have a don't want you? You poetry praise
- 44:03Speaker 1: and poetry praise. You ain't nothing wrong with poetry praise,
- 44:05Speaker 1: and you do your thing poetry praise me? Then go ahead.
- 44:08Speaker 1: It really was Coming up next to it is the
- 44:14Speaker 1: Nephew and the prank phone call for today. Right after
- 44:17Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. Coming up at about four
- 44:23Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, it is my strawberry letter for today,
- 44:27Speaker 1: and the subject is I went home early and so
- 44:30Speaker 1: did he. Okay, we'll find out what that's all about
- 44:33Speaker 1: in just a few because right now it is time
- 44:36Speaker 1: for the Nephew and today's prank phone call. What you
- 44:39Speaker 1: got for a snap. Well, you know, Junior, just put
- 44:43Speaker 1: it down black history poetry. We're gonna continue black history
- 44:48Speaker 1: with uh slave for a day? You know why? You
- 44:54Speaker 1: know what? That's that's what. Just for a day, just
- 45:00Speaker 1: for a day. Yeah, we're gonna ask you to do
- 45:02Speaker 1: two honey years. I'll ask you for a day, just
- 45:04Speaker 1: for a day, okay, and that's one day too long. Yes,
- 45:09Speaker 1: we're gonna call somebody. Didn't ask them, do they? Man
- 45:12Speaker 1: being get your nephew stick just a day. Y'all act
- 45:18Speaker 1: like y'all really did shut up. Okay, let's go cat
- 45:21Speaker 1: dog slave for you. We hate you. I'm building you
- 45:30Speaker 1: up that that can make a shine little love Jane.
- 45:33Speaker 1: All right, come on, let's go. Hello, Hell, I'm trying
- 45:37Speaker 1: to reach to y'a missus Glinda. Please, this is Gary. Gary.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I'm with the Black History Okay. You you you participated
- 45:47Speaker 1: last year in the in the Black History Parade? Am
- 45:50Speaker 1: I right? Yes? I sure did. Okay. I got your
- 45:52Speaker 1: name from one of the members on the committee, and
- 45:54Speaker 1: we're trying to see if you can actually build some
- 45:56Speaker 1: help for this year's Black History. Um for this month
- 46:00Speaker 1: will be glad to help. Okay, listen, we're having an
- 46:04Speaker 1: auction tomorrow and wanted to see if you could actually
- 46:07Speaker 1: maybe build some help with the auction that we actually
- 46:09Speaker 1: have going on tomorrow. Yes, do I need to donate
- 46:13Speaker 1: anything or but no, no, we're not really trying to
- 46:17Speaker 1: get some donation from you this time. We're trying to
- 46:20Speaker 1: see if you have some time tomorrow to come out
- 46:22Speaker 1: and actually help out with the actual auction. Okay, what
- 46:26Speaker 1: time tomorrow? Probably like about nine o'clock in the morning.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I can do that, Okay. Now we're asking that you
- 46:32Speaker 1: wear something that you will be comfortable in all day
- 46:35Speaker 1: tomorrow possible, okay, Okay, pretty much an all day event
- 46:38Speaker 1: that we're trying to get you to do. Okay, I
- 46:41Speaker 1: could be there around nine, but then we have to
- 46:43Speaker 1: leave about four. Well, I'll tell you what. We'll see
- 46:45Speaker 1: what we can how we can work it out, but
- 46:47Speaker 1: we definitely want you to come and be a part
- 46:49Speaker 1: of what we're doing. So what is it that you
- 46:51Speaker 1: really need be to do? Um? Well, actually, you know,
- 46:54Speaker 1: we we we got a lot of people doing different
- 46:56Speaker 1: things at the you know, at the auction, you know,
- 46:59Speaker 1: so we just want you to I'm out of being
- 47:00Speaker 1: some help with everything that's going on. Okay, Well, I
- 47:03Speaker 1: want to be prepared. So what exactly do I need
- 47:06Speaker 1: to do? Work the concessions stand something like that. No, really,
- 47:09Speaker 1: what we had is actually you being a part of
- 47:12Speaker 1: the auction, of being a part of the auction such
- 47:15Speaker 1: as well, what we're doing tomorrow is we have already
- 47:19Speaker 1: we already have fifty people who are signed up and
- 47:21Speaker 1: you would be you know, one of those people that
- 47:24Speaker 1: are that are that are signed up to do the
- 47:26Speaker 1: actual What it is is we're having slaves for a
- 47:29Speaker 1: day and what we're gonna be doing is auctioning you. Often,
- 47:32Speaker 1: somebody's gonna buy you tomorrow and you will be the
- 47:36Speaker 1: for the day slaves. Yeah, you will be the slave
- 47:39Speaker 1: for the day. That's what that's what we've decided to
- 47:42Speaker 1: do with the black history. We've decided. I didn't mean
- 47:45Speaker 1: I don't I want to participate, but being a slave no, okay,
- 47:50Speaker 1: But see what you what I want you to understand
- 47:52Speaker 1: that this is a word that calls though you know
- 47:54Speaker 1: we want we worthy call but I'm not going to
- 47:57Speaker 1: be no play. Well, well you I mean you don't
- 47:59Speaker 1: have to call a slave. I mean as a servant,
- 48:02Speaker 1: you know, a butler. You know what I mean when
- 48:04Speaker 1: you want to call it. I'm just saying, no, I
- 48:07Speaker 1: ain't gonna be a slave. Okay, okay, man man, miss
- 48:11Speaker 1: miss Glenna. What I'm trying to explain to you this
- 48:12Speaker 1: is a word to call for the black history, and
- 48:14Speaker 1: we're trying to get you to be there. Somebody may
- 48:16Speaker 1: buy you for five hundred dollars tomorrow. No, I'm not
- 48:20Speaker 1: gonna do it. Okay, are you? Are you? Are you
- 48:23Speaker 1: turning us down for a word to calls Miss glennas Yes,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I am turning your down. Don't call me with that
- 48:29Speaker 1: kind of no more. I mean, I don't understand what
- 48:31Speaker 1: what the problem is. You know, sometimes we got to
- 48:34Speaker 1: repeat history, so we don't go back to the history.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Sometimes we got to do it again so we don't
- 48:39Speaker 1: go back to what you understand. But it isn't seem
- 48:41Speaker 1: like you. You acting like a house need grow or
- 48:44Speaker 1: something like you two up at your house need grow?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Who's the chairman of this? Excuse me the chairman. Last
- 48:52Speaker 1: time I spoke with mister Wilson and we didn't have
- 48:55Speaker 1: no like this. Okay, And I understand that. But what
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain to you is this is something
- 48:59Speaker 1: that I don't want you to explain it thing to me.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Do not call me with this kind of again. Are
- 49:04Speaker 1: you gonna show up tomorrow so we can sell you?
- 49:06Speaker 1: Do you understand me? Are you gonna show up tomorrow
- 49:09Speaker 1: so we can sell you? We already have you know
- 49:11Speaker 1: we're gonna sell me. We are all listed to be
- 49:14Speaker 1: sold tomorrow. Sell you. We've got you listened to be
- 49:17Speaker 1: sold tomorrow, ma'am. Can we please make shoot don't be
- 49:20Speaker 1: sold and you not call you again? Hey, listen, if
- 49:24Speaker 1: you don't show up tomorrow, then we will come to
- 49:26Speaker 1: your house and sell you there. Come to if I
- 49:30Speaker 1: got to come out of which you will come to
- 49:32Speaker 1: my house. Bring over here if you want to listen,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I will come there to sell you. If you're not
- 49:37Speaker 1: gonna come out to the auction, come on to my house,
- 49:40Speaker 1: you bad, Come on to my mouse. Okay, I tell you,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and you know what I need you to do this.
- 49:44Speaker 1: You need to start saying yes sir and no sir
- 49:46Speaker 1: to me right now. Okay, I need to get you
- 49:48Speaker 1: in the in the frame of mind. Keep being a
- 49:50Speaker 1: fray or to day. Okay, I didn't hear what you said,
- 49:53Speaker 1: kiss my black I'm coming to your house tomorrow and
- 49:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna sell you in of your house. If you
- 50:00Speaker 1: want to come down to the auction tomorrow morning, nine o'clock,
- 50:03Speaker 1: you better not bring you my house? Do you better not?
- 50:07Speaker 1: Do you understand me? I am march for civil rights.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I don't have time for no like that. And we
- 50:14Speaker 1: gotta for president you. I understand we got a president,
- 50:18Speaker 1: but right now we're trying to raise some money for
- 50:20Speaker 1: black history and we need to sell you tomorrow morning.
- 50:23Speaker 1: You're not gonna sell me. You're not gonna sell me
- 50:26Speaker 1: you and don't call my house no more? Do you understand?
- 50:29Speaker 1: Do not call? I understand exactly what you're saying. Can
- 50:32Speaker 1: I sell you something else? Who else is gonna be
- 50:34Speaker 1: so tomorrow? Tell all now? Don't tell me. I got
- 50:37Speaker 1: one more thing I do need to tell you. What
- 50:40Speaker 1: is it? Bess is Matthew Timmy from the Steve Harvey
- 50:43Speaker 1: Morning Show. You just got pranked by your sisters. My sisters,
- 50:53Speaker 1: my sister. I can't believe that I'm gonna get huh.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I can't believe you to, did Miss Clinda? You all right?
- 51:05Speaker 1: Come all right? This is so crazy. I can't believe it.
- 51:13Speaker 1: For it doesn't sound like you were gonna get stole.
- 51:17Speaker 1: No way, they know you wasn't getting on this auction block. Huh, no,
- 51:23Speaker 1: no way. Listen, the been there, I've been at the
- 51:27Speaker 1: city end, the marches, I've done some of everything. Yes, ma'am. Well,
- 51:32Speaker 1: I tell you what, Miss Glendon, if it wasn't for
- 51:33Speaker 1: people like you, we probably wouldn't be where we are today.
- 51:36Speaker 1: That's right. We showed, thank you. We showed thinking. I
- 51:39Speaker 1: just wanted to play a joke on Did I get you? Yes?
- 51:41Speaker 1: You did? You? Sure? Indeed? It all right? I got
- 51:46Speaker 1: one more. I got one more thing to ask you.
- 51:47Speaker 1: What is what is the baddest and I mean the
- 51:50Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvey Morning
- 51:53Speaker 1: showed that the nephew Tommy. We love you, missus Clenda, Okay,
- 51:58Speaker 1: love you too. I can't say you if you don't
- 52:04Speaker 1: put this bird lap on wrap your head. I'm just
- 52:09Speaker 1: trying to auction you off. We're gonna raise some money.
- 52:12Speaker 1: It's it's raised money, you understand, but it's you know,
- 52:14Speaker 1: slave for a day is so wrong, it's uncomfortable. I
- 52:21Speaker 1: can't stand here as you're gonna learn history. If you
- 52:24Speaker 1: don't feel it, you gotta feel it, feel it. What's
- 52:28Speaker 1: wrong you do everything? Everything is wrong, the prank, everything
- 52:35Speaker 1: you're wrong? Everything okay, way for a day. But I
- 52:42Speaker 1: won't be a slave fib or ten. No, No, I
- 52:48Speaker 1: won't be. I've been Fort Wayne, Indiana, all right, a

- 54:08Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry. Let him thank you, nephew subjects.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I went home early, and so did he. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:18Speaker 1: my husband and I are down to one car because
- 54:20Speaker 1: he hit debris in the road after an ice storm
- 54:24Speaker 1: in our city. I hate having to be dropped off
- 54:26Speaker 1: at work because I have a flexible schedule and I
- 54:29Speaker 1: can work from home. He's in sales, so he has
- 54:33Speaker 1: to have his own transportation. Last Friday, I chose to
- 54:37Speaker 1: stay home and work, so I had sex with my
- 54:40Speaker 1: man and told him to have a great day. By
- 54:42Speaker 1: ten am, I got a call to come to the
- 54:46Speaker 1: office because the client had popped up in town. I
- 54:49Speaker 1: called my husband to get a ride, but he was
- 54:51Speaker 1: too far away to pick me up. My boss picked
- 54:54Speaker 1: me up instead. My husband called me around one pm
- 54:58Speaker 1: to see if I made it to work. I told
- 55:00Speaker 1: him I made it and I would need to be
- 55:02Speaker 1: picked up around five pm. We wrapped up our meeting
- 55:05Speaker 1: around three thirty and my boss dropped me off at home.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I went down to the basement to start working on
- 55:11Speaker 1: the contract for my client. Then I heard a car
- 55:14Speaker 1: in the driveway, so I looked at our cameras. It
- 55:18Speaker 1: was my husband getting out of my car. I could
- 55:21Speaker 1: tell he had a woman in the car, but I
- 55:24Speaker 1: couldn't see a face. I stayed quiet in the basement
- 55:27Speaker 1: so I could see if he was going to let
- 55:29Speaker 1: her come into my house. He left her in the
- 55:31Speaker 1: car while he changed his shirt, and then left back out.
- 55:35Speaker 1: As he drove away, I called, but he didn't answer.
- 55:39Speaker 1: He texted me to see if I needed a ride.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I texted back that I was already home, and I
- 55:46Speaker 1: asked who he had in my car with him, and
- 55:48Speaker 1: why was he texting me and not answering my calls.
- 55:52Speaker 1: He never responded that night. He said I was making
- 55:56Speaker 1: more out of it than it was. He said he
- 55:58Speaker 1: didn't answer my calls because he didn't want to be
- 56:01Speaker 1: embarrassed in front of his coworker. What if I hadn't
- 56:04Speaker 1: busted him, do you think he would have admitted it
- 56:08Speaker 1: to me? That would be a no, and you know,
- 56:11Speaker 1: he wouldn't have he wouldn't have admitted anything to you.
- 56:15Speaker 1: He was thinking he could get away with whatever he
- 56:18Speaker 1: called himself doing with the so called coworker, because you know,
- 56:22Speaker 1: he had you at Bay, you were off at work
- 56:25Speaker 1: doing your thing and everything. He would check on you
- 56:28Speaker 1: every now and then to see if you needed a ride.
- 56:30Speaker 1: But the fact that he had your car and couldn't
- 56:32Speaker 1: pick you up or you know, just I don't know,
- 56:36Speaker 1: he didn't seem like he really I don't cared whether
- 56:41Speaker 1: you got home or not. Really, you know, it just
- 56:45Speaker 1: seems kind of crazy to me. And not only that
- 56:47Speaker 1: he's in your car with another woman that he brought
- 56:49Speaker 1: to your house. All this was dumb and it was
- 56:53Speaker 1: a wrong move on his part. You never bring another
- 56:56Speaker 1: woman to your house, in your house or any of that.
- 56:59Speaker 1: That's why this whole thing is stupid. And he was
- 57:02Speaker 1: more worried about being embarrassed in front of his coworker,
- 57:06Speaker 1: that's what he's calling her his coworker, than answering your call. Why,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I mean to me, that proves that he shouldn't have
- 57:13Speaker 1: had her in the car in the first place. If
- 57:15Speaker 1: he didn't want to take your calls. Why was he
- 57:17Speaker 1: even with her? And he most definitely hadn't put her,
- 57:20Speaker 1: shouldn't have, you know, put her before you, being embarrassed
- 57:24Speaker 1: in front of her before your need. So all of
- 57:26Speaker 1: this is just wrong on his part to me, Steve,
- 57:31Speaker 1: you know, I'm sometimes amazed at Shirley's direction. She is
- 57:40Speaker 1: so pro relationship, she is so pro marriage, she is
- 57:47Speaker 1: so pro tradition, she is so pro integrity. Okay, and
- 57:58Speaker 1: the phone that makes me sick? Whatever, man, whatever around
- 58:09Speaker 1: all these righteous as readers of these letters, A lot
- 58:14Speaker 1: went on the letter. I just think the dude, it's stupid. Man,
- 58:19Speaker 1: I don't understand dudes. Man, what y'all be thinking about? Man?
- 58:24Speaker 1: All is about who got dropped off of the house.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And this is irrelevant that y'all had two cars, but
- 58:32Speaker 1: you're down the one because he hits some debris on
- 58:35Speaker 1: an ice storm in your city. Don't nobody give a
- 58:39Speaker 1: damn about that. Let's start moving these stories along a
- 58:45Speaker 1: little bit, now, come on, all this your relevant ass?
- 58:48Speaker 1: Too much information like badass reading. Now, that's why I
- 58:53Speaker 1: don't like novels and stuff. Just what is wrong? Who
- 58:58Speaker 1: ain't seeing? Who is he? And what is he to you.
- 59:02Speaker 1: It's bill with us. That's how we wrote some my friends.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Let's just get these songs. Get to it. What is
- 59:10Speaker 1: all this stuff dropped off at work? I got a
- 59:13Speaker 1: flexible schedule here in sales. I can work from home.
- 59:16Speaker 1: So there are what we need to tell Nothing here
- 59:24Speaker 1: is all you need to know. I chose to stay
- 59:28Speaker 1: home and work. So I had sex with my man
- 59:32Speaker 1: and told him to have a great day. Because that's
- 59:35Speaker 1: really what this damn letter. Okay, see all this stuff
- 59:41Speaker 1: about the debris in the road, that all she wanted
- 59:44Speaker 1: to say was I had sex with my man and
- 59:51Speaker 1: told him have a great day. See every all the
- 59:55Speaker 1: angle built up in this letter after that, just closing
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: because I gave him some sextist. M h hes gonna
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: pull up in this driveway, just helping a woman. Huh.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: See that's what this letter is about. He was wrong
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: for that, and so when I come back and straighten out,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: this is what's wrong. All right? Hang on, Steve, Part
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: two of your Strawberry Letter responses coming up in twenty
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour today. Subject I went home early,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and so did he. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I went
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: home early, and so did he. We have a situation, heill.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Somebody got dropped off at work. Somebody supposed to pick
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: somebody else, somebody got off early, all this hill. Somebody
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: messed up Marando with some debris in the street. Do
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: an ice storm in our city? Oh, none of that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: means a damn thing. I had sex with my man
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and told him to have a great day. This is
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: what this letter is about. So after that, you got
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a call to come into the office because the client
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: popped up. So your boss came and picked you up. Now,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you didn't tell us whether your boss was a man
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: or a woman. I don't, but I'm thinking it's a man.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: See because when we talk about who riding with who? See,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: when you ride with a man, ain't no damn problem.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Your boss coming to pick your How you know where
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you stay? How your boss know where you stay? How
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: many times he hadn't been about the house while you've
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: been working from a home. See, I turned all this
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: on you because you you've been to get this up
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: all for me? Right, My boss picked me up and
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: stead my husband called me around ten to see if
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I had made it to work, and I told him, see,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: because you had called him to bring you, but your
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: husband was too far away and you weren't gonna get
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: there in time. So then my boss picked me up instead.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: My husband called me around one pm to see if
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: you made it. I told him I made it. That
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: one pm call was to make show you was at work. See.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I told him I made it and would need to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: be picked up around five. We wrapped up by meeting
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: around three thirty. My boss dropped me off at home.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Oh he brought you back. Yeah, but see, you knew
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: at three thirty though, that you ain't had time for
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: your boss because you knew at five. You had told
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: your husband you was gonna wrap around five and he
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: was supposed to come get you. So you wrapped your
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: meeting at three thirty, and then your boss dropped you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: off at home again. But he couldn't come in today
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: because hubby could be right around the corner. I went
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: down to the basement to start working on the contract
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: for my client. Oh, so it's the basement. Hum. Then
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I heard the car the driveway, so I looked out
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: our cameras. It was my husband getting out of my
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: car after we'd had sex this morning in with my body.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Now he in my car. I could tell he had
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a woman in the car, but I couldn't see her face.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I stayed quiet in the basement so I could see
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: if he was gonna let her come into my house,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: because we both can't be having people up in this house,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: because we don't know if your Boston never been in
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the house while he dropping you up and picking your
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: ass off, see what I'm saying. He left her in
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: the car while he changed his shirt, and then he
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: left back out as he drove away. I called, but
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: he didn't answer. This is the only small thing he did.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Why he bought this helper to the house, I do not.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: He texts me to see if I needed a ride.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I text back that I was already home, and I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: asked who he had in my car with him, and
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: why was he texting me and not answering my call.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: He never responded. That was another break brilliant move, But
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: this is too late. After the fact. You hadn't took
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the helper to the driveway, you wouldn't have had to
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: explain this. But you know you cannot answer that phone
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that night. He said I was making more out of
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: it than it was. He said he did not answer
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: my call because he didn't want to be embarrassed in
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: front of his co worker. And that's the truth. That's
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: the only piece of truth in this letter from you
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: all him to me. Because see, once you accused me
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: of hub he dropped you off, he picked you up.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: How you get to call your boss because y'all have
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: been having two cars now all of a sudden, when
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you need to ride, here he comes and Molden happy
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: to get over him. Now I was with my coworker,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: co worker. Shirley says, it's his so called co worker.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I believe it to be his co worker, but I
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: don't believe he should have bought her to the house.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I believe that's your boss. But why is your boss
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: at my house? And why is you going out there
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: getting in this man's car? You know? How to make
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: me look to the neighbors on the problem is the
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: husband and the co worker. Now you see what I'm
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: saying about the problem is gonna be about this boss
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: man pick me up in my house. That's what this
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: fitmight be. And then she says, what if I hadn't
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: busted him, do you think he would have admitted it
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: to me? What? No? Are you crazy? And never commit?
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: You never admit because y'all admit what? You never tell
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the truth? If the truth that it was a woman,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: would I admit? I tell the truth A lot of
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: times I'm not admitting damn thing, especially for black men
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: because at mick is a shorter word for admission of
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: guilt and that. Yeah, so the phone when I call
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: all of that, all right, the girls, no, she how
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: did you get that out of letter? And I don't
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: know why y'all don't see it because I pick her up?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: All right? Please leave your comments on Today's letter on Instagram,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM and check out the Strawberry Letter

- 1:07:39Speaker 1: know gonna be here because we were rolling the wheel
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: for a minute. We didn't know who was gonna stay
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: and who was gonna He had a multi year deal
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: and they let him go after one. Yeah, y'all got
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: all that money though, Yeah, you let him go after
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: one of money. They let me go like that. We're
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: gonna pay your contract out there. Don't come down here
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: on Thank you also, man. Another hiring at the head coach,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Sean Payton has been hired by the Denver broncos he
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: didn't take the other job, but he think he could
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: really help Russell Wilson man because you know, he worked
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: with Drew Brees, so he really wants to help Russell
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Wilson get back to Russ, you know, so nothing wrong
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: with Russ. It was his system here, many of them. Yeah,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: so hopefully he can get that turned around. Man. But
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I really like Sean Payton though. Man. I'm just glad
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: he didn't take that cowboy job. Man, So glad he was.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: You know, Jerry Jones was hourting him, he was trying
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: to get him in there. But man, them was a
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: good place for him. So that's that's cool. I like
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: that also. Brock Purty, Man, I feel so bad for
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Brock Purty. Man. He had to, you know, getting him
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: that far. He should be probably as a rookie, man.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I mean, he has to have surge on his shoulder. Man,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: he did. He messed. Feel sorry about Jenny No, man,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: because dude, because I didn't. I don't. He's such a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: young talent. Man. You you just hate to see guys
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: that relevant. Man. He last person drafted. You feeling gonna
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: see when your ass is laying up in that hospital
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: with a crisis. Have you heard from Rock Purty? You
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: don't know. Have you heard from Sean Payton? Russell Wilson
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: never gave you a call? Give it? Then? You know
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: damn that I'm just this black history bad. We feel
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that we feel bad for Rock Purty because he heard
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: feeling bad for everybody. Everybody feeling bad for your ass.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: We felt bad for Junior. Ain't nobody called and comfort me.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I don't know what you wanted from me for. We'll
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening well after markets jokes.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: The white football player was caught on camera sang the
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: N word in a song. He lost his football scholarship
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: at the University of Florida. Then he was offered a
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: position on the team at Albany State University, which is
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: an HBCU. Now Albany States head football coach Quinn Gray
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Senior has rescinded his offer to Stokes because he's faced
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: backlash over having Stokes on the team. Coach Gray was
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: also reprimanded by the school's president, President Marion Ross Frederick,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: for extending an offer to Stokes. Marcus Stokes was regarded
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: as a four star recruit who received offers from Alabama
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: A and M and the University of West Florida. So
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: was it cool? Here's the question, was it cool to
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: kick this young man off the football team because he
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: said the N word while he was singing the lyrics
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: to a song. No, you know, you know when you're
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: singing this moone, you got the poles when you get
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: hit at word, you know that. No, that's buddy, he
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: felt comfortable. Thank you. It's unfair to do that, you know.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I watched the game one time on a video. He
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: was overseas in Spain or somewhere like that, and he
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: was on jay Z over there the games on jay Z,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: and he had the whole crowd channing blank jigger that
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: old blak in word. Wow, that's what the game was,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: making this all white crowd chant. You put the lyrics
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: in the song. White kids buying rap music at the
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: rate the black kids is buying, if not more. That's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: what has made the hip hop genre one of the
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: biggest music genres in the world. And now he's singing
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: along with the song. Somebody put it out That's why
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you can't do it. Man, If you put it out there,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: they gonna consume it. So I don't think he should
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: have got put off the team for repeating the lyric
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: in the song when the lyric is in damn near
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: every song. So this young man lose this whole career. See,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it's easy for you to sit back in it and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: play this prim proper we civil rights advocates and all
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: this here. But nah, man, you got and told you
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: over and over and over. So hold on, let me
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: ask you this right here. When you refer to women
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: as bees and hs in these songs and you sang
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: it alone, you don't lose your job. Yeah that's all right. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you can beat the hell out of women in this
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: damn music, and you can drag them through the mud.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Who gave all of us in here life if it
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: wasn't for some woman somewhere. But yeah, see you could
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: drag their ass. But now you say the N word
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: and you white. Now you banned for life. Why why
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: y'all sitting up in here? Man, I gotta offend you.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: But if it offends you so bad, we'll quit putting
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: it in the songs. You're selling it to them, but
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you don't want them to say it, but you will
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: take their money for buying it. Then, miss me, don't
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: sit around me, don't sing around me. That's cool. They
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: got all this now, all these old ass civil rights people.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from. You fitted you ought
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to understand the field that way, But now you don't
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: put this out here to this young dude. All of
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: them singing it, all of them. The rappers are standing
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: on stage and they sing it along with the rappers,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: every lyric in the song. Now they heard this white
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: boy say it. Now they shocked in a pall. Now
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: they hear you shocked in a paul about this white
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: boy saying the N word. You're all these policemen killing
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: all these black people, all these politicians writing all these
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: laws about not giving black people rights, no more history,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: voter suppression, all this here, we're still killing black people,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: were doing everything. Now we don't get rid of this
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: white boy because he just said the N word. Man,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: get out of here. Y'all didn't get rid of m
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: andem when he said it said years ago when he
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: was talking about that black girl. He had to come
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: on and apologize. So no, man, it ain't ain't anybody
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: with you with that going out of here. Yeah, gonna
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: say around me, I'm gonna say that again. I'm out
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: of you, and Romo say that around They talk like
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: talking to these kids just singing it. They they call
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: each other, they call each other in words. Yes, it's
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: common now, Yes, girls call each other broy do they do?
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: What the hell? All right? Coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Morning Show went to weather is once again wreaking havoc
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: on people's travel plans. Thousands of flights were canceled or
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: delayed due to due to the weather, with Southwest Airlines
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: reporting the most cancelations. There were also ground stops ordered
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: at both Dallas airports in New York. Lagordia a for
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: it because of the winter storms and ice storm is
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: moving across the south and more freezing rain is expected
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: over the next couple of days. From Texas into West Virginia.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Some areas could see as much as a quarter inch
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: of ice, which would make roads and interstates dangerous and
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: would most likely ground many more flights. So keep that
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: in mind if you're traveling. Tell me where are you going? Man? No,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: you always going so far? Where you're going? I'm flying
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: tomorrow from Lady Houston. So now I'm on uniting. Why
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: you just assumed that? But why you just assumed that? Well,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I know you're always looking for discouncil. You know you
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: be counting bags and all that, and I just wanted
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you to know that you gotta count bag so many
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: bags you can get on them. Yeah, it's one bag
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: free and you know you got them a little clothes.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I figured you could come shut up to bag same money.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: You know, It's all I was trying to do, spedding money.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: You ain't got no to me. You ain't got no

- 1:16:31Speaker 1: a rounded would you rather? Would you rather? Guys, would
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: you rather have a driver with very bad breath? Or
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: would you rather your driver drive like a maniac? Which
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: we're wearing masks, so I'll just take the drive with
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: your man breath. We're still wearing. Yeah, Yeah, I don't
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: want a driver damn kill me. No, No, we're gonna do.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: We're gonna let that wind down though. He gonna have
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: to let that wind to down. Brad would do breath
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: So Brad, it was coming through the divide. Man, I
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: was trying to close up the little money tray I was.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I was looking for duct tape. I was trying to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: see all the cracks if I have some calking, I
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: was looking for that. I had took my jacket off
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: and packed it in the crack. Between going to see
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I was trying to shut off all the ventilation. I
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: was sitting back the man. I ain't have on numb
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: but my damn drawls. I took all my clothes and
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: packed it in cracks, just trying to stop this. What
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: is doing up there? All right? Would you rather? Would
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: you rather curse really loud when you see a beautiful woman,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: or would you rather cry softly when you saw a
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: beautiful woman? Which on sight? Yeah, I've done both. Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you've a down boat? Say it right there? All of that? Yeah,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I'm done? What? Yeah? Yeah? That whimpering? All right? Would
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: you rather? Man? You haven't been a real fine cheek?
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: And walked up to it and tried to say something
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: to it, and then she said, excuse me, you're not
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: my type? Yeah, yeare? Lady told me, she said, God,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: I can't go with you to the junior prom because
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't like your facial features. Your facial feature. Damn it,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: it's nineteen seventy one. They really came out with playing
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: sic surgury right now? Damn thing I can do about
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: this right now? Nor haven't heard of boats yet? All right?
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Last one? Would you rather a totally silent sex partner?
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Or would you rather one that talks the whole time?
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: The entire time? Yeah, you can be quiet. You ain't
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: gotta say a damn thing. I mean, yeah, you ain't
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: gotta give me no notifications or nothing. I'm fine. I
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: know what. I'm not neither water, Yeah, neither one of
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: them bother me. I don't. Damn. I'm trying to get
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a rhythm going here. What is all this damn instruction booklet?
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Did I want to do this? Now? I want you
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to do this? Damn. We'll be back with our last
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: break of the day and at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one right after this. You're
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: listening here, We are, guys, our last break of the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: day on this Wednesday hump day. Man. Yeah, it's weakest movie. Hey, yeah,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: happy February first. Yeah, Hey, Shirley, you did a story
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: earlier about this college kid that was put off a
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: team and oh, Yeah, the HBCU picked him. But what
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: was that story again? Okay, his name was Marcus Stokes,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Steve and he was a white football player. He was
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: caught on camera saying the N word. It was in
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: a song. As a result of that, he lost his
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: football scholarship at the University of Florida. Then he was
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: offered a position on the team at Albany State University,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: which is an HBCU. Now Albany States head football coach
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Quinn Gray Senior has rescinded his offer to Stokes because
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: he's faced backlash over having Stokes on the team. Coach
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Coach Gray was also reprimanded by the schools president, Marion
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Ross Frederick for extending an offer to Stokes in the
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: first place. Marcus Stokes was regarded as a four star
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: recruit who received offers from Alabama A and M and
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the University of West Florida. So there's Marcus Stokes, sol
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: this kid. These are my clothing remarks. This kid gets
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: put off of a football team at the University of Florida.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: An African American coach picks him up and brings him
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: to Albany State. He gets backlash from the president. So
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: now they put the young man off the team. The
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: question was should he be put off his football team
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: for using the INN word? That he was reciting the
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: lyrics to a song and he was called on tape
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: saying the N word to a song. Now, you know what,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: nobody can call me the N word to my face.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I just I've never allowed that. It comes with repercussions instantly.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Now that hasn't always resulted in a fight, but I've
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: had many about it. You know, gotta understand, I grew
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: up in the sixties. I was in college in the seventies,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: so please understand. I've heard it so many many times
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: now I've been expelled for it. It has cost me
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: a lot because you said to me, I'm gonna deal
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: with you. Now we're moving Now, we're in twenty twenty three.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: We are in the middle of the cancer I mean,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: the cancel culture. We're in the middle of the cancel culture.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: We are so ready to get rid of anybody for
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: anything that they do that we don't agree with. We're
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: in a culture now where we have to like everything
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: everybody else do or now, something wrong with you. That's crazy.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: That's crazy that we're that way right now, because all
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: of you, all of us, must admit we don't agree
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: with everything everybody else do, and we shouldn't be forced
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: to have to like it because that's what you want
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: to do. And that goes for any subject out there, race, religion, sex,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: sexual preferences, pronounce whatever you want to call it, marketability,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: I don't care, job description, I don't care what it is.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Now he has to agree with everything everybody else says.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: That's because they want to do that. Go ahead and
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: do it, but don't get mad at me because I
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: don't want to do it. And if you got the
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: right to speak up for it, somebody should have the
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: right to say no. But we're in the council culture.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: So now this young man is repeating a rap leg
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I haven't heard it, but he was repeating the song,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: and now he loses his football career, scholarship, he goes
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: to another school and now they take it from him again. Really,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: he was reciting the lyrics of a rap song. And
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: where did this song come from? Who wrote this song?
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Which artist was he or emulating or repeating. I'm just
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: curious if he bought it or downloaded or downstream it
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: and bought it from the artist that made it, and
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the artist is making money off of it. I don't
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: understand what the problem is. If you don't want anybody
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to say it, don't give it to him to say it.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I spent thirty some years on stage as a stand up.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: I've used the N word in thirty years twice, and
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: both times was by accident. I got up there loosing,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: was just talking, and the worst one was El Paso, Texas.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: I let it come out of my mouth in front
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: of an all white audience and a group of blacks
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: was at the table and I saw him and I
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: was exciting, and I was young, and I was talking
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: and I let it come out. And after the show man,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: the brother was so hurt and he came up to
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: me some lads having a good time. Bro, I showed,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: wish you hadn't said that. He inn where some man
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: that thing slipped out. And after that I became very
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: very conscious. If you look at all my specials, you
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: come to see my shows. I just stayed away from
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: it because I had whites in the audience. And guess what,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I didn't want to give it to him, because if
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you give it back to me, you're gonna have a problem.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: With me. So now this young man is in a
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: culture where every rap song, damn there, all of them girls,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: everybody a female rappers, everybody says it. And like I
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: told you earlier, I was watching this thing when the game,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: the rapper of the game was upset with jay Z.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: He was in Spain, had a whole group of white
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: creeds saying fl jigger, that old blank N word, and
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: he had to cry just chatting it. He told them
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: to say that, and the whole group of white kids
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: were saying that. I'm sitting there going, man, what's wrong
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: with this dude right here? Well, what's wrong with our society?
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: What's wrong with our music? And now it's but now
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: hold up though, Now, if you're saying a rap word,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: a rap lyric, and you're repeating you calling women bees
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: and hes and bees and this and this be this
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: and this h that and all this here ain't nothing nothing.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: We need to grow up or we need to get
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: it all the way right. Because one thing about the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Jewish community. You say anything anything that's deformation, and they
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: coming for you. But we're picking and choose what we
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: decide to be deformation. And you can dog out women,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: but you can't be a white boy and say the
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: N word in a rap zone that the black dude made,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: that he paid his money for. That the black dude
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: take the money off of man. Y'all listen to me
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: with all this hypocrisy, if y'all want to get it right,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Bill Paul about something that really count, won't we stop
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: something this damn bo police brutality beween you ain't gonna
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: stop that either though. Okay, excuse me, my bad, what
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: y'all want to be mad about today, because I ain't
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: fit to be mad about that. Those are my closer remarks.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Have a great day. Talk to God the day he'd
