- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh A good manding everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dignon na one and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. I gotta tweet the other day from
- 2:14Speaker 1: a young dude named Cortez. Uh. I can't remember his
- 2:18Speaker 1: Twitter handle, but Cortets something, and he tweeted me and
- 2:23Speaker 1: he said, uh, when Steve Harvey used to get to
- 2:27Speaker 1: preach and I used to just turn the radio off.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And then he said something to the fact that, but
- 2:35Speaker 1: now is different. He said, old dude be bringing it,
- 2:40Speaker 1: he'd be bringing the truth. I appreciate that. That's what
- 2:44Speaker 1: he said. Well, Cortets, if you out there listeners, morning,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I appreciate you too, man, because see I understand what
- 2:51Speaker 1: it is I used to you know, man, when I
- 2:53Speaker 1: was younger, Man, when I when I wanted to do
- 2:55Speaker 1: what I wanted to do. Man, I just man, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: didn't want to hear nothing else. I didn't want to
- 3:00Speaker 1: hear nothing that contradicted what I wanted to do. You know.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So it's a funny thing man about me. Man, I
- 3:06Speaker 1: was I would hear the truth, I would know it
- 3:09Speaker 1: to be the truth. But because I had another plan,
- 3:12Speaker 1: another mission, another goal, another set of dudes I wanted
- 3:15Speaker 1: to get done, I didn't want to hear that. You know.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It's a funny thing, man. It's like like when I
- 3:22Speaker 1: was a little boy and I used to get scared
- 3:24Speaker 1: sometime at night, you know, the booker Man. So I
- 3:27Speaker 1: thought that if I just pulled the blanket up over
- 3:30Speaker 1: my head, that that meant that if I can't see
- 3:33Speaker 1: the booger man, he can't see me. That's the theory.
- 3:37Speaker 1: That's an ostrich, you know, sticking his head in the sand,
- 3:41Speaker 1: thinking Wow, if I don't see this dude, he can't
- 3:43Speaker 1: see me. A lot of Ostriches didn't die with their
- 3:46Speaker 1: head stuck in the sand. I just didn't want to
- 3:49Speaker 1: be one of the people that left this world with
- 3:51Speaker 1: my head in the sand. And so you know, he
- 3:55Speaker 1: kind of fostered that thought in my mind this morning.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So I want to send the shout out to my
- 3:59Speaker 1: man on with a cortet is whatever is. I think
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna look his real name of Holdos while I'm
- 4:04Speaker 1: piddling through this trying to find it, so I can
- 4:06Speaker 1: get his real Twitter handling and give him some love.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But I just wanted to say, man this morning, that
- 4:16Speaker 1: quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because because because this
- 4:22Speaker 1: is real right here, quit talking about change and let's
- 4:28Speaker 1: make a change. You know, man, I don't I don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: mind giving people advice. I really, I really really don't,
- 4:34Speaker 1: because so many people along the way have handed it
- 4:38Speaker 1: to me freely. Man. Some people just saw me doing
- 4:41Speaker 1: wrong and say, young man, come and let me talk
- 4:43Speaker 1: to you for a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:45Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do. Man,
- 4:48Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:51Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:54Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:57Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:59Speaker 1: a long way, so I don't I have no problem
- 5:00Speaker 1: with this part of what what I'm what I'm obligated
- 5:02Speaker 1: to do in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed is growth and
- 5:11Speaker 1: ain't no growth without change. You've got people, Man, You
- 5:15Speaker 1: ever met a person that's just insistent on doing it
- 5:18Speaker 1: they way? I mean, no body in the building think
- 5:22Speaker 1: they should go that way, but they're so bone headed.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro
- 5:29Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't highs done. You're gonna
- 5:32Speaker 1: run into this distance I show you heait a minute. Man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man, listen to me.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Change is growth and ain't no growth without change. It
- 5:48Speaker 1: cannot happen. If you are sick and tired of where
- 5:51Speaker 1: you are, then you have to change. Change can only
- 5:55Speaker 1: come from within. Can nobody make you change? Now? We
- 5:59Speaker 1: got a penal system in place that can make you
- 6:01Speaker 1: sit down. If you don't want to change, we'll sit
- 6:06Speaker 1: you down and we'll restrict your movement and your communication
- 6:10Speaker 1: to the point where if you want to continue this foolishness,
- 6:12Speaker 1: we're gonna put you in this building with a whole
- 6:14Speaker 1: lot of people. That's foolishness, and y'all just trick each
- 6:17Speaker 1: other all day long. But if you are sick and
- 6:20Speaker 1: tired of your situation, you've got to change, man. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: listen to me, y'all, how do you bring about change? Steve?
- 6:29Speaker 1: How do you change? Man? When you've ben't thought of everything? Well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: hold up, man, pray for it. Pray for change. Ask
- 6:37Speaker 1: God to help you change. Ask God what he wants
- 6:41Speaker 1: for you instead of always telling God what you want.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's an interesting prayer to have with God. When you
- 6:48Speaker 1: quit going to God with your list and check in
- 6:52Speaker 1: with God and see what his list is. That's a
- 6:54Speaker 1: very interesting prayer. If you're praying person, I suggest you
- 6:58Speaker 1: try that sometimes. It's so interesting. Man, do you know
- 7:02Speaker 1: what he did for me when I started asking God
- 7:04Speaker 1: what he wanted for me? Instead of telling God all
- 7:07Speaker 1: the time. I still tell him what I want, but
- 7:10Speaker 1: instead of all the time going to Him with what
- 7:12Speaker 1: I want. You know what it did for me? It
- 7:14Speaker 1: freed me up. It took a lot of pressure off.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I no longer had to think of everything, and what
- 7:20Speaker 1: I was thinking of a lot of times wasn't work
- 7:22Speaker 1: in no way and when I opened myself up to
- 7:25Speaker 1: what he wanted to what his wheel was. Man, do
- 7:29Speaker 1: you know how much simpler my life? God? And do
- 7:31Speaker 1: you know how much bigger it God? I'm trying to
- 7:33Speaker 1: tell you, man, if you pray for change and you
- 7:36Speaker 1: allow God to help you with the change, or if
- 7:39Speaker 1: you let God just produce the change, the changing you
- 7:42Speaker 1: was would be amazing. If you've been listening to me,
- 7:45Speaker 1: especially out in l A, since I was on the
- 7:47Speaker 1: radio since two thousand, can't you here to change? I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: flat out telling you that a change has come. But
- 7:57Speaker 1: I had to pray for the change because I couldn't
- 7:59Speaker 1: make the change on my own. And then after you
- 8:02Speaker 1: pray for the change, you gotta work towards your trade change.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You know it as a faith without works is dead.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Everybody wants something from God, always want to talk to
- 8:11Speaker 1: God about something. But then man, ain't ain't and don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: don't want to do nothing about it. Faith without works
- 8:18Speaker 1: is dead. You can't do it that way, man, It
- 8:21Speaker 1: just does not happen. So so after you didn't pray
- 8:24Speaker 1: to God about it, what you gotta do then is
- 8:27Speaker 1: you gotta turn around and go, hey, man, all right, now,
- 8:30Speaker 1: what is it I got to do. You know, you
- 8:33Speaker 1: got to do something to bring it about. So after
- 8:37Speaker 1: you pray for it, work for it, and do something
- 8:40Speaker 1: today about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The change
- 8:46Speaker 1: can start today. Man, I want to change? How about today?
- 8:51Speaker 1: You know? Then you see them saying people, Man, I
- 8:53Speaker 1: want to change. That's next week. How about today? I
- 8:57Speaker 1: see people years later, Man, I'm still in the same
- 9:00Speaker 1: old situation. Man, I'm gonna do so. How about today?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 9:08Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 9:13Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 9:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 9:21Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 9:24Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 9:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 9:31Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 9:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 9:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now we're
- 9:43Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start to change today. Don't hesitate.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Make that change. And then I want you to watch something.
- 9:51Speaker 1: When you change, Watch the difference in you. Notice the
- 9:54Speaker 1: difference in you, feel the difference in you, and guess
- 9:58Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. If you're watching for the change,
- 10:02Speaker 1: if you're feeling the change, then guess what you're gonna
- 10:05Speaker 1: be different. Man, Watch for the difference, feel the difference.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You will be different. If you're sick and tired of
- 10:11Speaker 1: your situation, folks, you can change that. But the change
- 10:15Speaker 1: is in you. It's a simple decision you have to make.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna change. The change is up to you. You
- 10:21Speaker 1: can decide to day if you want to change, you
- 10:24Speaker 1: want to be different. If you're sitting behind the wall,
- 10:27Speaker 1: I love speaking to the brothers and sisters behind the wall.
- 10:29Speaker 1: If you're behind the wall, man, and you're sitting tired
- 10:31Speaker 1: of being behind the wall, man, why don't you change?
- 10:34Speaker 1: You've thought about that change? Man. If I get back
- 10:37Speaker 1: out there, I'm gonna just do the same thing. Stop
- 10:39Speaker 1: saying that. Stop breathing that negativity into your life. Decide
- 10:43Speaker 1: today that you want to change. You can do it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Everybody can change. If you don't know how to change,
- 10:48Speaker 1: prey for it, man, Ask God to help you with
- 10:51Speaker 1: the change. Or you get some movement, then partner you
- 10:54Speaker 1: get a whole lot of movement. Then all right, let's right,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening. Hey. Twenty one minutes after that, Welcome to
- 11:03Speaker 1: the ride, y'all, Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is Steve Harvey,

- 13:29Speaker 1: do back at forth in here. We just do fothbody
- 13:34Speaker 1: talked back to me the oldest just fourth love that
- 13:42Speaker 1: you did talk back. It always ended up with a
- 13:43Speaker 1: hand on you something, man. My father the thick hands,
- 13:48Speaker 1: hardwood coal manner, construction worker hands was heavy, hard, and
- 13:54Speaker 1: they could hear no matter where you were in the house,
- 13:57Speaker 1: they could hear it. They could hear it. I believe
- 14:00Speaker 1: a debt d one time I thought he had dropped
- 14:05Speaker 1: kidding me. I didn't know I had said it out Louve.

- 22:14Speaker 1: He branking people. That your damn man, he laughed, my head,
- 22:19Speaker 1: good people bringing people. Man's so damn mad. I'd been
- 22:27Speaker 1: laughing on MAB eight time. And we got all your
- 22:30Speaker 1: tapes what they called now, I had them downloaded. Oh
- 22:36Speaker 1: you know about that? My niece found him on the
- 22:39Speaker 1: instranet on on on the instranet internet in the internet. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 1: she found that. She downloaded them from me, put them
- 22:52Speaker 1: all on eight track. Got I got about you know,
- 22:57Speaker 1: go to eight track? Different about two cases. People don't
- 23:04Speaker 1: use eight tracks anymore. Rascals, people ain't got curled, don't
- 23:10Speaker 1: what the hell they gotta do with it. I ain't
- 23:12Speaker 1: seen nugget ring in a wild I ain't see nobody
- 23:15Speaker 1: with seventeen eagles on their neck. But what they got
- 23:17Speaker 1: to do with rock? He had an eight track player.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Got I ain't got no eight track in it. I
- 23:29Speaker 1: will tell y'all the story about printing printed that name
- 23:33Speaker 1: King and brother uncle Duke, Duke, Duke Ellington and our friends. Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and they had a board. They put him out of
- 23:41Speaker 1: the group because he would thought it was too pritty.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Oh really, who was that? That king? Cole Man? She
- 23:52Speaker 1: could print that in name with king? He said, ain't
- 23:54Speaker 1: gonna be but one king over in here to be
- 23:57Speaker 1: that cod? But which k be? And that keen coole? Okay,
- 24:01Speaker 1: So when he put his autry whipping, he whipped in
- 24:03Speaker 1: pretty good that day. Print Daddy was strong, and that
- 24:07Speaker 1: what happened then. So you know I wrote a for
- 24:09Speaker 1: Cam Collaway. You know what they're about to do a
- 24:11Speaker 1: concert from them where he didn't had nothing, So I
- 24:14Speaker 1: took him my head. Or we had a little boy
- 24:16Speaker 1: we used to play with. We had to quit playing
- 24:18Speaker 1: with him because he played He didn't played good, you know, Richard.
- 24:22Speaker 1: We had to quick food with a little Richard. Little
- 24:24Speaker 1: little Richard didn't play good. Now you didn't play good.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You know how heels on here on the bike, you
- 24:31Speaker 1: know we'll be I didn't playing got hot heels on? Man?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Where are your sneakers at? You know where your pro
- 24:39Speaker 1: cads at? You out here with your mama, he we
- 24:44Speaker 1: gottaut that hole. And then I wrote that for me,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and I wrote that before I wrote that for him.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Fuck Richard wrote that. No, no, no, no, no, A
- 24:58Speaker 1: little Richard came out on the You were waving at him,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and we ride it back down the street and we
- 25:03Speaker 1: read hi, and that's how we came up with his
- 25:07Speaker 1: own Hi, Hi high come on with Yeah. I just
- 25:19Speaker 1: thought that was funny. Good, all right, that's right here.
- 25:25Speaker 1: You can't come back to church. You can't come back
- 25:28Speaker 1: to church. I'm trying to reach sister short reads Mayfield,
- 25:34Speaker 1: Deacon Bob from the from the church, from from church. Yes, yes, ma'am,
- 25:44Speaker 1: from from from can you hear me? Good? There's old
- 25:47Speaker 1: phone on work. We're good, Yeah, my phone okay, okay,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I called it. The deacon board didn't had the meeting
- 25:55Speaker 1: as well as uh pass us and they didn't have
- 25:59Speaker 1: to meet. Then they come to the understanding that, uh,
- 26:03Speaker 1: they're gonna ask you to not come to church right
- 26:07Speaker 1: now because that about that the bars of your air
- 26:10Speaker 1: can change being in jail the way the earth and
- 26:14Speaker 1: want to want you to just stop. I don't know
- 26:17Speaker 1: if they're gonna suspend you from church right now. But
- 26:20Speaker 1: they they think it put a bad look on the church.
- 26:24Speaker 1: My kids being in jail put a bad look on
- 26:27Speaker 1: the church. Well that's what that's what's what that that's
- 26:30Speaker 1: what they come up with. Now we even had to
- 26:31Speaker 1: meet with the deacon ball and with passing stoes. I
- 26:34Speaker 1: don't understand why y'all have a meeting about my kids
- 26:37Speaker 1: in the church. What my kids got to do with
- 26:41Speaker 1: the church. Well, what we're trying to do is show
- 26:43Speaker 1: a good example to the youth that we got there. Okay,
- 26:47Speaker 1: you can show a good example about me being there,
- 26:49Speaker 1: paying my times and offering. Well, that was another thing
- 26:52Speaker 1: that's been brought the attention that we're gonna be calling
- 26:55Speaker 1: a lot of members about it. People not paying the tie,
- 26:57Speaker 1: the way they focus my task. Don't know. I don't
- 27:00Speaker 1: know who told you that, Deacon Brs. I don't even know,
- 27:03Speaker 1: first of all, who you are. And I'm not trying
- 27:05Speaker 1: to be mean to you, and I don't I don't
- 27:08Speaker 1: even understand why you how you even got my phone number.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I paid my time, I paid my offering. Go on
- 27:14Speaker 1: your computer at the church, call your secretary or whoever.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Let me let me let me ask you this. Do
- 27:20Speaker 1: you pay your tie according to what you make. Yes,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I do check the books. What what now? What it is?
- 27:29Speaker 1: We can't check the book that we don't know exactly
- 27:32Speaker 1: what you make. Is what I'm saying. What I make
- 27:36Speaker 1: is my destance between me and Jesus, I give him
- 27:40Speaker 1: his tempersent, and that's how mart. He'll need to know
- 27:44Speaker 1: the understanding exactly where you're coming from. But not the
- 27:47Speaker 1: main issue on table is about the board and and
- 27:51Speaker 1: and being you know, disrupted the way to you. They
- 27:53Speaker 1: don't want that to be to bleed over into the
- 27:56Speaker 1: uth quad. Wait a minute, Wait a minute, And first
- 27:59Speaker 1: of all, I'll appreciate if you would have pathor to
- 28:01Speaker 1: tell me this this self. And then second of all,
- 28:05Speaker 1: if somebody kids is having trouble in the world or whatever,
- 28:08Speaker 1: y'all supposed to pray for him, not put him at
- 28:10Speaker 1: the church or the mama, Well I'm I'm we're gonna
- 28:14Speaker 1: we're gonna pray for and we're gonna pray for you too.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But we don't want shared over to the youth that
- 28:19Speaker 1: we got that doing good with. Well, I'm gonna keep coming.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Y'all can't stop me from coming to the church. I'm
- 28:25Speaker 1: gonna keep coming. So I don't know who you're talking to.
- 28:30Speaker 1: And you tell a pastor to call me hitself and
- 28:32Speaker 1: tell me I can't come to Deal and you have
- 28:35Speaker 1: nobody calling me telling me that I can't come to Hell.
- 28:39Speaker 1: That is a free church. I'm gonna get the pastor
- 28:42Speaker 1: called that night. And you get the pastor to call
- 28:45Speaker 1: me because you have no business calling me telling me
- 28:48Speaker 1: that I can't come to God is mazing. I don't
- 28:50Speaker 1: want you to get into role with me. I'm not again.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I'm not getting angry with nobody. Did I work I
- 28:56Speaker 1: don't work eighteen sixteen hours today. I don't have to
- 29:00Speaker 1: for nobody calling me telling me that I can't come
- 29:02Speaker 1: to a church that I pay my cards and offering
- 29:04Speaker 1: it not that I owned the church. I paid my
- 29:07Speaker 1: cars because that's that's through to God. But y'all really
- 29:10Speaker 1: making me upset by telling me I can't come there
- 29:13Speaker 1: because of my kids in their trouble. Where was you
- 29:17Speaker 1: this past something to you? Wasn't then I want that
- 29:20Speaker 1: church because I had over stuff that Why is that
- 29:22Speaker 1: in your yo? Bill? Now there you go being an
- 29:26Speaker 1: uproad with me again. I don't know who this is.
- 29:30Speaker 1: How could you call somebody about church distance over the phone.
- 29:35Speaker 1: This don't make sense, Mayville. Hello, Yeah, one more thing.
- 29:42Speaker 1: This nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Ship. I
- 29:49Speaker 1: got you. I'm like, who is this guy telling about?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Start to be? You know what I like about you? Though?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Nobody go keep you out the lord's house. Who's gonna
- 30:20Speaker 1: show up and show out every Sunday? Every Sunday? Thank
- 30:29Speaker 1: you everybody. Let me ask you something. That's the baddest
- 30:33Speaker 1: radio show in the land. Now do you even have
- 30:37Speaker 1: to ask me that? To Steve Harvey more itself. You're
- 30:41Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm missing a
- 30:46Speaker 1: standing by with the news. But first, finding a new

- 30:51Speaker 1: no guarantee you'll like your new bosses. Okay, so if
- 30:56Speaker 1: you're on the hunt for a new gig, you may
- 30:58Speaker 1: want to pay attention. We have some bad news. Here

- 31:04Speaker 1: to website Wall street dot com. Alauria, it's a customer
- 31:09Speaker 1: service company. All right. Uh, that's number one, Lauria customer

- 31:21Speaker 1: a Center, home furnishing, rent. Yes, any time people rent,
- 31:26Speaker 1: they're gonna have an attitude. Then you got to drive
- 31:33Speaker 1: by the house and pick it up when they don't
- 31:35Speaker 1: pay it. Oh yeah, So what was the worst job
- 31:40Speaker 1: you've ever had, Steve? We've heard about a lot of them,
- 31:44Speaker 1: but the worst of the worst. And what was so
- 31:49Speaker 1: bad about it? When I got put on doing the layoffs?
- 31:54Speaker 1: I got put on the maintenance detail at full Yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 1: maintenance I had. They gave me some rubber gloves and
- 32:02Speaker 1: told me I was cleaning toilets with toyal crew. So
- 32:07Speaker 1: I would have watched out all the saints and stuff
- 32:09Speaker 1: and deear to float and came on out. No, dude,
- 32:13Speaker 1: winning that to inspect and said, hey, man, these toilets

- 32:51Speaker 1: He said, that's the job requirement, Harvey, I can't do it,
- 32:55Speaker 1: he said, I'm anna farmer. Have you five? Not in?
- 32:58Speaker 1: You a w five? Hey? Union Strong? I had been
- 33:04Speaker 1: there three years. Come on, you're gonna fire me because
- 33:07Speaker 1: I don't want to clean no toilet. And I didn't
- 33:09Speaker 1: come here to clean tarlet. I can't eve here to
- 33:11Speaker 1: make calls. Now. The fact that y'all had leos ain't
- 33:15Speaker 1: got damn thing do with me. I came in here
- 33:18Speaker 1: to make cars and engines. I would what nothing. Maybe
- 33:26Speaker 1: they thought he was better at doing tarlet than making cars. Yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: well you was tearing and couldn't ride a bike back then,
- 33:34Speaker 1: so what the hell you're talking? Hey? Hey, some people
- 33:40Speaker 1: catch on a little later. He couldn't reach none of
- 33:42Speaker 1: the pedals on the bikes we so he was so
- 33:47Speaker 1: I tried to try to teach him one time, but
- 33:49Speaker 1: his feet couldn't touch the pedals. So I just said
- 33:51Speaker 1: him on the seat and put him on down there.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Hard to keep your balance when you ain't paddling that day?
- 33:57Speaker 1: What's your worst job ever? Jack? Oh? I had a
- 34:01Speaker 1: job cleaning up a store, grocery store, big grocery shore
- 34:05Speaker 1: and we had to clean the whole store. But the
- 34:08Speaker 1: problem was the man rent store. You had to say yes,
- 34:11Speaker 1: sir and no, sir. I didn't say that, and I
- 34:13Speaker 1: wasn't there long. You just couldn't. I just couldn't just
- 34:19Speaker 1: bring yourself. I mean, I'm cleaning and I was cleaning toilet.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I gotta go yes, sir. And also didn't see it blunting.
- 34:25Speaker 1: He ran me about it here all right, Steve introduced
- 34:33Speaker 1: our girl with the news. Please, ladies and gentlemen, she's
- 34:36Speaker 1: here the lovely to talentedness and trip and thank you
- 34:41Speaker 1: very much, everybody. Here we go again. Oh, it was
- 34:43Speaker 1: a really really big newsday. But today is going to
- 34:45Speaker 1: be the big newsday. That's right. Today is the day,
- 34:47Speaker 1: everybody that former FBI Director James called me schedule to
- 34:50Speaker 1: testify before the Senate an Intelligence Committee. He sent a
- 34:53Speaker 1: copy of his opening statement to the panel yesterday and it.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Comey says he had nine conversations in just or months
- 35:00Speaker 1: with President Trump and that after each of them he
- 35:03Speaker 1: made notes about what transpired. Comey says, for instance, about
- 35:06Speaker 1: it he talks about one after a week after the election,
- 35:09Speaker 1: that Trump invited him to dinner, and to a dinner
- 35:11Speaker 1: he thought, and Comey surprised. He only saw two of
- 35:14Speaker 1: the table set for two people, so it wasn't a
- 35:16Speaker 1: dinner for say, it was just for them. Comey says
- 35:18Speaker 1: the President asked him if he wanted to keep his
- 35:20Speaker 1: job and then allegedly said, quote, I need loyalty and
- 35:23Speaker 1: I expect loyalty. Comey says he didn't say anything, that
- 35:26Speaker 1: the two of them just stared at each other. According
- 35:28Speaker 1: to Comey, Trump kept the pressure up for months, allegedly
- 35:31Speaker 1: asking for a loyalty oath, at one point trying to
- 35:34Speaker 1: get the FBI and others to go light on their
- 35:36Speaker 1: probes in the General Michael Flinn's possible ties to Russia.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Things got so bad Comey has Attorney General Jeff's Sessions
- 35:42Speaker 1: to never let him and Trump be alone in the
- 35:44Speaker 1: room together. But now tensions are said to be high
- 35:46Speaker 1: between Trump and Sessions, where it is that Trump has
- 35:49Speaker 1: been screaming at the Attorney General so much, said he
- 35:52Speaker 1: at one point offered to quit. Oh, by the way,
- 35:55Speaker 1: James Comey's testimony begins at around ten am this morning,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and some bars across the country already open early for
- 36:01Speaker 1: comy viewing parties. Believe it or not, that's right to
- 36:04Speaker 1: watch his testimony. President Trump has announced his new pick
- 36:07Speaker 1: for the FBI director uh he's former Justice Department official,
- 36:11Speaker 1: Christopher Ray, and the American Civil Liberties Union or the
- 36:14Speaker 1: a c l U says it's concerned about his selection
- 36:17Speaker 1: because they questioned Ray's ability to be independent. Christopher Ray's
- 36:21Speaker 1: firm worked for the Trump organization, and Ray was also
- 36:24Speaker 1: a Jersey Governor Chris Christie's personal lawyer, successfully keeping Christie
- 36:28Speaker 1: from being charged in the so called Bridgegate scandal, which
- 36:31Speaker 1: involved politically motivated lane closures of the George Washington Bridge,
- 36:35Speaker 1: which is the world's busiest span. Get This eterminally ill
- 36:39Speaker 1: cancer patient has been arrested and charged with attempted murder
- 36:42Speaker 1: after he traveled to the San Francisco Bay area to
- 36:45Speaker 1: try and kill the three doctors who treated him you Chen.
- 36:48Speaker 1: He said he also planned to kill himself after it
- 36:51Speaker 1: was all over, because he said he thought the doctors
- 36:53Speaker 1: treated him like a laboratory monkey, and he says he
- 36:56Speaker 1: thinks he was being used for research purposes. He didn't again,
- 37:00Speaker 1: he couldn't find the doctors. Apparently he was arrested before
- 37:02Speaker 1: he could do anything. Chan charged in Santa Clara County
- 37:05Speaker 1: with three felony accounts a premeditated attempted murder. Game three
- 37:08Speaker 1: NBA Finals, The Warriors That Can beat the Cast a
- 37:11Speaker 1: third time one eighteen one thirteen. At one point looked
- 37:14Speaker 1: like the Calves are gonna pull it out. But then
- 37:16Speaker 1: three two seconds ago that curtsy a Warries radio that
- 37:24Speaker 1: puts some merely one game away from the championship. I'm sorry, Steve.

- 38:26Speaker 1: d J. Yeah, absolutely trusted cow Yes, And I wanted
- 38:35Speaker 1: to ask you if you would see it in your heart,

- 38:48Speaker 1: the show. Okay, okay, now listen to me. Listen to
- 38:51Speaker 1: so we ain't got to go over this loan. I
- 38:54Speaker 1: will be speaking to him before that. I will not
- 38:58Speaker 1: be speaking to him on your behalf because I think
- 39:02Speaker 1: that's a you and Tommy decision, and I think you
- 39:05Speaker 1: should leave it that and not drag. But I think
- 39:11Speaker 1: because he is a pastor, shepherd of a flock, and
- 39:14Speaker 1: the flock got wad Mobray's wolves in the flock and

- 41:26Speaker 1: have a speech issue. I want to know what am
- 41:29Speaker 1: I able to do to help him? He's six years old,
- 41:33Speaker 1: he has he has a very but the very speech
- 41:38Speaker 1: issue does he starter? He does very badly? Oh, I
- 41:44Speaker 1: can help him stop stuttering? Okay, how how am I
- 41:47Speaker 1: supposed to help him? I need you to tell me
- 41:50Speaker 1: what am I supposed to do? You know? To help him? Well,
- 41:53Speaker 1: listen to me. First of all, you have to take
- 41:58Speaker 1: him to someone who used to stutter. Well, I do
- 42:02Speaker 1: to myself, but I'm not as bad as I used
- 42:05Speaker 1: to be. You you good? Okay? So turn your micro
- 42:13Speaker 1: right here? So how did you fix yourself from stuttering? Um? Well? Um,
- 42:25Speaker 1: A certain time, I have to just make sure that
- 42:28Speaker 1: if I if I'm excited, if I'm excited about anything,
- 42:31Speaker 1: I have to slow it down. And I just I
- 42:34Speaker 1: don't know. It just happened over the years. I mean rightly, No,
- 42:38Speaker 1: it didn't just happen. You did something to stop it.
- 42:43Speaker 1: You have to teach you to your son. So here's
- 42:45Speaker 1: the deal. Okay, listen, I'm going to tell you her name.
- 42:50Speaker 1: First of all, here's the number one rule. When your
- 42:54Speaker 1: son reads, he doesn't stutter, and when he talks to
- 42:59Speaker 1: him self, he doesn't stutter. Okay, he only stutters when
- 43:06Speaker 1: he's speaking to people. Correct. Correct the problem he has,
- 43:12Speaker 1: first of all, is he is living now since he
- 43:16Speaker 1: has this problem with the anticipation of someone saying and
- 43:20Speaker 1: looking at him like okay, come on, come on, you
- 43:24Speaker 1: can do it, you can do and he locks him up.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Here's a couple of drills you can do. Since you
- 43:31Speaker 1: used to study this will help. Have him ask him
- 43:34Speaker 1: a series of questions and tell him before he answers,
- 43:38Speaker 1: you to say the answer to the question under his
- 43:42Speaker 1: breath three times before he says it, if it takes
- 43:46Speaker 1: four four times, but he doesn't stutter to himself. So
- 43:51Speaker 1: once he says it under his breath to himself, wait
- 43:54Speaker 1: till he said it three times, and then on the
- 43:56Speaker 1: fourth time, say it, but say it looking at the
- 43:59Speaker 1: ground with out looking at you. It's the eye contact
- 44:03Speaker 1: of a stutter that causes him to build up the
- 44:06Speaker 1: anxiety which locks in the stutter. That's the first drill
- 44:11Speaker 1: you have to do. Then I want you to stand
- 44:13Speaker 1: him away from you and have him walk towards you
- 44:16Speaker 1: doing the same example. You know, hey, whatever how are
- 44:20Speaker 1: you doing today? And have him prepare statement and say
- 44:24Speaker 1: it to himself while he's walking to you. Tell him
- 44:27Speaker 1: do not say it until he's saying it to himself cleanly,
- 44:31Speaker 1: and then say it to the ground. After that, you've
- 44:34Speaker 1: done that drill many times. Do the drill where he
- 44:37Speaker 1: looks up at you after he gets it together. Next drill,
- 44:41Speaker 1: take him to the mirror, stand away from the mirror
- 44:45Speaker 1: where he can't see you, and ask him questions and
- 44:48Speaker 1: tell him to provide the answers in the mirror looking
- 44:52Speaker 1: at himself in the eye. You do these drills right here,
- 44:59Speaker 1: your boy will stop study. And to all you speech
- 45:03Speaker 1: therapists out there, that's it's not that simple, Steve, you
- 45:06Speaker 1: don't know because you didn't stutter. I had a grown
- 45:09Speaker 1: lady come to my show who started on the Steve
- 45:12Speaker 1: Harvard talk show. I had her in my dressing room
- 45:14Speaker 1: with three of my employees work with it for thirty minutes.
- 45:18Speaker 1: She walked out of that not study. Wow, I've saved
- 45:22Speaker 1: so many kids in my camp study. You could do
- 45:25Speaker 1: it that. That's just the beginning. If you have any problems,
- 45:29Speaker 1: called me back, bye bye bye baby to talk pell
- 45:40Speaker 1: not that stuttering coming up all We're back, coming up
- 45:48Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. About four minutes after that,
- 45:50Speaker 1: we're gonna get into the strawberry letter. Man. It ought
- 45:53Speaker 1: to be a good I don't know what it is,
- 45:54Speaker 1: but you know, I mean we're here going uh huh
- 45:58Speaker 1: so whatever right now, right now though, right now, your
- 46:05Speaker 1: husband's prescription is ready. Man, messed up. Man, When you're pranking,

- 46:46Speaker 1: that the prescription is ready. Prescription well he um he
- 46:50Speaker 1: dropped off a prescription. I'm assuming he must have looked

- 46:59Speaker 1: pretty him, So I wanted to let you guys know
- 47:01Speaker 1: it's ready, okay, And what exactly did he get a
- 47:03Speaker 1: prescription for? Um? It's a Maxa seller, a Maxa selling

- 47:13Speaker 1: tablets if he could take two tablets today. Right. My
- 47:19Speaker 1: name is Brian, Yes, I'm the technician here at the pharmacy. Okay,
- 47:21Speaker 1: well let me okay, Jonathan, that's my husband. Let me
- 47:24Speaker 1: make sure you have the right Donovan, because well let
- 47:27Speaker 1: me can we take the birthdays? Are you allowed to
- 47:29Speaker 1: do that with me? Oh? Definitely, definitely? It's um? Is
- 47:34Speaker 1: that correct? Yes? Okay? So what exactly is a Maxa
- 47:37Speaker 1: selling for Marxa silling? Was an antibiotic, ma'am? So any
- 47:41Speaker 1: type of small infections of some sort, diseases or whatever.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Is it pretty much cures it? So are you telling
- 47:49Speaker 1: me this is nasty? Then got something that can win
- 47:53Speaker 1: and got it on my first off, He wanted the
- 47:56Speaker 1: doctor and got a prescription on the just hey, he
- 48:00Speaker 1: want to got something, you know what? You know what that? Brian,
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'm coming down there. I'll pick up the medicine. I
- 48:04Speaker 1: don't get it. And if you want that mention, he'll
- 48:07Speaker 1: check him with me at my counter, because I gotta check.
- 48:09Speaker 1: He then wrote that and not cast I'm gonna beat
- 48:12Speaker 1: the hell out just he do not know, he does
- 48:15Speaker 1: not even you know what? We brought it a new year.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you're you're what what? What can
- 48:22Speaker 1: I call you about? Your first name? What's your name? Now? Communist?
- 48:25Speaker 1: That's fine, just communists, No communist? Okay? Uh. First of all,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I want to apologize. I had no idea that you
- 48:33Speaker 1: were not aware of the actual prescription that he's that
- 48:36Speaker 1: we've just feeled for him, you know, just just all
- 48:39Speaker 1: a personal note. I'm just curious. Is there a possibility
- 48:42Speaker 1: maybe maybe you could have given it to him? Brian? No,
- 48:46Speaker 1: but you did. You have lost some of my Now,
- 48:49Speaker 1: first off, you don't call my phone. First, I've know you.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I'm glad you called my phone to tell me it's

- 58:00Speaker 1: It is a strong every letter. Here we go, Steve subject. Wow,
- 58:07Speaker 1: that's what it says. Hey, Steven Shirley. I'm so hurt
- 58:11Speaker 1: right now, and it's my own fault. My boyfriend and
- 58:14Speaker 1: I came back to the house last night and my
- 58:17Speaker 1: friend told him how I went out with this other
- 58:20Speaker 1: dude the other night. Now my man won't even speak
- 58:23Speaker 1: to me. I just had to go out one more
- 58:26Speaker 1: time to see the other guy. But I love my
- 58:29Speaker 1: man and I want to be with my man. The
- 58:32Speaker 1: sex wasn't even that great with the other guy, but
- 58:36Speaker 1: he has big hands, if you know what I mean.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I don't want that. I want my man. But now
- 58:43Speaker 1: it's all messed up because my girl ran her mouth.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Should I beg his forgiveness or go ahead to the
- 58:49Speaker 1: next one? Oh, I always got a few in the
- 58:52Speaker 1: bag because that's what I do. Whoo whoop. It's a
- 58:56Speaker 1: crazy letter man. And and don't blame this on your girl.
- 59:00Speaker 1: First of all, you told her that's number one. But
- 59:02Speaker 1: don't blame this on her. You brought all of this
- 59:04Speaker 1: on yourself, all of this just by the way you
- 59:06Speaker 1: wrote your letter. You brought all this. You're the one
- 59:09Speaker 1: that had to go just one more time with that
- 59:11Speaker 1: other guy. Uh So you're just all over the place,
- 59:14Speaker 1: aren't you. You're just here, You're just there. But you
- 59:16Speaker 1: really love this guy. But if you really loved your man,
- 59:19Speaker 1: then what are you doing over there for a booty
- 59:20Speaker 1: call with this other man with these big old hands?
- 59:23Speaker 1: And we know what that means. Okay, don't with Garland.
- 59:26Speaker 1: We've heard that a few a few times. Anyway, why
- 59:29Speaker 1: why would you jeopardize your relationship with this guy if
- 59:34Speaker 1: you really loved him? So again, you're all over the place.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Should you beg his forgiveness? I mean, you could do it,
- 59:40Speaker 1: but he knows now he's probably not gonna take you back.
- 59:42Speaker 1: You messed up. Don't blame it on the girl. You
- 59:44Speaker 1: did it to yourself, Steve Um. Subject will first of
- 59:51Speaker 1: all a letter full of contradictions, you know, man. And
- 59:56Speaker 1: and then when look, I just think that when people
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: write some letters, I just don't care. I really really don't.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: And and this this chick has a tone of arrogance
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to herself that I really just don't like. You know,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: um you here, here, here are the contradictions. Uh, Stephen Charlotte.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I'm so hurt right now, and it's my own fault.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: My boyfriend right there, you have boyfriend? Okay? Cool, So
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: now the rest of this letter becomes almost unnecessary. I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: came back to the house last night and my friend
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: told him I went out with this other dude. What
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: other dude? Wait a minute, you got a boyfriend, but
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: you're so called friend told your boyfriend that you went
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: out with this In your words, other dude, I don't
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: understand the other night. Now my man won't even speak
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: to me. Oh here your man now, But he wasn't
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: your man the other night. See, I'm just I'm just
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: trying to work with you on this letter. I just
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: had to go out one more time to see the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: other guy. But I love my man. I'm so confused.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you that I used to
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: hear my father say to my sisters all the time.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You can't do what I do and steal bl Yeah,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: he say that you can't do what I do and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: steal b L. So you can't sleep around trick and
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: all this here and want to go to work and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: be a lady. See if we all went, like, for example,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you all listen to the Escapades of Tommy, y'all just laugh,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: gig it's Tommy. One of y'all come in here and
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: tell that story one time one time. Just can't work.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: You lose all everything, everybody watching or listening because it's
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: double standards and you can't do what I do and
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: still be like, she don't get that I want to
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: be with my The sex wasn't even that greatly. Yeah,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: I thought you just went out and ate something I thought,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: y'all went to just and saw movies, so you want
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: just got just been out there just getting just now
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and then he got big hands if you know what
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I mean? Yeah, we know what that? What do that mean?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: What do what do? What do it really mean in
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the total scheme of now that you've lost your man, hire,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I don't want that. I want my man, but nots
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: all messed up because my girl ran her mouth your girl?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: That's what if it got down to your girl? Are
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: you for real? Did your girl's fault? See you just
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you just all over the place. She did the dirt.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Now she wants to ask me a question. This is crazy,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: this question? Should I beg its forgiveness? Go ahead to
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the next one right there? Because she always has a
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: few in the bag. She said, what's the other thing? Whoo? Whoo? Man?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: What she don't even care? Do that a lot in
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: l a who? So you're gonna bring the real as
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: soon as we come back. Are two of Steve's response
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three after the or you're listening
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up next, it's a
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: girl Cheryl Underwood. But Steve, you've got to finish up
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: your response to part two of Today's Strawberry Letter. Right now,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: come on, all right, uncle subject woe You know, you
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: know it really ticks me off about this lady. She
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: sounds like a man. Yeah, her whole actions is man.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: There's some messo. Dude. She's really young too, wouldn't you say?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Um but be Yeah, but she's in for a life
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: of misery and she can't even see this coming. Um.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Should I beg his forgiveness or go ahead to the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: next one? You know what you're You're the woman that
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: gives good women a bad name. That I mean, you
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: really are. So many women out there are searching and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: trying to find a good man. You get one, and
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: now you're passing yourself out like a box of chitless
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: down at the movie theater. You're just some milk dugs
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: going down the road. You know, by time the box
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: come back to you, it ain't gonna be worth nothing.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: See the dangered part that this girl don't understand is
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: see man eventually, once they know that's how you play
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: in the game. You cannot play this game like we do.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: You cannot do what we do and still be a lady.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It don't come back the same way. So now what
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you're doing is you're causing yourself to head for a
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: life of misery. And then you're arrogant. Oh should I
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: move on to the next one. Oh, I always got
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: a few in the bag, That's what I do. Woo woo.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: See see right there, that's where I lost it to you.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And that's why you're gonna always be in a trick bag.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: You know you're gonna always be in a trick bag
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: because see you, you, you, you, you. You don't get it.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: You don't get it, and by the time you get it,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: so many men gonna be the ran through you. Your
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: reputation gonna be so stink. If you run into Mr. Wright,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be right for him, because you got
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to start practicing what you want to happen in your life,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and you get exactly what you put out. You know,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you read what your soul, the law of attraction is
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in a place. So all you're gonna do is bring
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: me into old life that ain't gonna do you right
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: because you ain't doing me and right and just what
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: makes a good man go bad? And things like this
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: happened to him? No, but this, this is what messes
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: it up for so many women out there. Now, you
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: got a guy who won't really go bad, but he
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: might be a little bit less trusting. You know, men
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: have baggage to you know, for sure. Men don't always
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you know, but you know who, I always got a
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: few in the back. We'll go ahead on. That's what
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I do. Yeah, that's what made me not care about it,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: because you know all of this. I'm so hurt right now.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I really won't my man. I love him, I don't
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: want that, but I got a few in the bag.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: That's what I do about anything. Take your little trick
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: tale on. Don't go where you're going, all right, we
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: have to go, sir, email or Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry letter. At my girls, Shirley, Uh, come on,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Steve introduced our girl. She is here from the Talk
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood's gonna be different legies and gentlemen. Here she
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Underwood thanking Mr Steve so nice from aute. I don't
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: even know what that is. I don't even know music
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: because again soun Underwood. So Hey, I'm just glad to
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: be introduced. Hey, I'm on my way to Houston for
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: the Southern Regional meeting of Zata to my brother James Brown,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: five Beta Sigma the House. And then next week we'll
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: be in South Central UM in Southern Region, will be
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: in Houston, South Central will be in Nashville, and then
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I'll be at the Stardom in Birmingham, Alabama. Yes, we're
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: still doing a live comedy out there. So but there's
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: so many things out that I don't know are really
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: funny or not. It's ice kill going on to Bill Marshall,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: What night is that? What night is that? Juniors? And
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: now throw Friday? Are we watching? Are we watching? Kill?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: With the throat with the pick? Thank you, thank you? Jillian.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Can I tell you what
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: would be funny? If he came on with Maxine Waters,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: that would be hilarious. You see that Maxine don't take
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: no she don't take no smack because they already that's right,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: she stayed whoke, so they already got that grutter. Bill
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Maher used to date or whatever. You don't talk about
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: this every day? A courage? How do you? This is
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: my thing? You know? Because I don't you know, I
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: don't stepped into the vanilla pon every once in a while,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you know, I drink a little and vanilla pon you know,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: you know, yeah, hey man, listen me and you Jamie Brown,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you know we're trying to keep people together. But nothing
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: but ain't no way you can let that come out
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: your mouth and without fighting. And he just did. He
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: shouted out there, shot it out, Jill, shut it out.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Wait a minute, do we care about the Bill Cocky trial?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Do we care at all? I ain't even want Yeah
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: we care care? Wait, but but code me about to testify,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: But nobody cares about Bill Cocky? Right, listen, listen, call us.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: They say he about to the president about the wiggle
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: out of this one. Because everybody trying to act like
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: he never told me to break the law. To us,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: he never told me. Do you know what? They're scared up.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: That's why I think they're scared, because you know, I'm
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: any body. I think they scared up. If they admit
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: that he told them something, then they also admit that
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: they was dumb enough to be in the room to
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: hear it. You know what I'm saying, It's like you
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: call something, you call in something. You know, where where's
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Eric Older when we need where's Blair Underwood? Off? L
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: A law, where's the black throwback? We need somebody to
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: like them? This everything is not juice? You know what
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: else is not as juicy as I thought it was
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: gonna be the Bachelorette with the sister on it. You
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: don't like man, Well it's I. It's interesting because they
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: say the brothers about to jump on the other dudes
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: for calling somebody aggressive. But one of them dudes, it's
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: strangely aggressive. I want to be with you, but I've
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: never been a relationship. We're still we're still live Cheryl. Okay,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I almost blurted out, oh speaking to live? Okay? Can
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I say this, Shirley if I can't tell me now?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Have you never called somebody you? Have you ever called
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: somebody and you thought you were their friend until they
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: let you know you were not? Did you? You did
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: not call like a dummy? Like a dummy dummy? Man? Listen.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: It was we was arguing on the bluetooth and my
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Bentley like we were too last because they used to

- 1:15:21Speaker 1: weekends in the projects. But he could want to be
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: one then because you go down there, you show he
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: is gonna be a house in where because you're betting
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: that kass outside if you don't want to sign up
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: for that song? Wow? Yeah, you know, I don't you know,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I don't wouldn't really, I don't. You know he's supposed
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: to be a comedian, you know, so you know, Steve
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: them and time at Jake here they all cross the line. Oh, yes,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I didn't give it them. You call yourself what you

- 1:16:07Speaker 1: white man, wasn't he? Yes, show is getting comfortable. But
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: because of rap music. Now, once you put it out
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: there and let them have it, then they're using Now
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: you want to be mad and quit saying it in
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: your songs. Okay at that time out the end words
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: in Paris. Now when one is down here on TV.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Now you're mad at it? Well, y'all was over in

- 1:17:15Speaker 1: One thing a person to tell a person to miss you.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: It's another. They ain't telling to kiss you crack uh huh.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: But now once she wants a person to inhale, uh
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: see you cab, you still do that. But once you
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: start telling them to inhale, only she wants you to
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: say kiss my a. And that's different because everybody got one.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: You tell to kiss something else and that's the individual. Wow.

- 1:20:44Speaker 1: this drama. Okay, So Logan says that he believes that
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Jasmine's baby is his baby and that he's going to
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: do a DNA test to find out, you know, to
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: get to the truth of the matter. That kind of
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: shocked Rashida, but Rashida was cool with Logan giving the information.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: He had all kinds of evidence, improof, and that the
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: girl Jasmine named the baby boy named her son after
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: this young man, Logan's father. So Rashida's like, cool, get
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: a DNA test because her husband, Kirk has been dragging
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: his feet about doing it, and then that's another way
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: that Rashida can find out possibly if her husband is
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: the father of this baby. That this young lady Jasmine
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: says that it is Kirk's baby. So there you go.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: You're caught up on that now, Tammy walk a flock
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: of flames wife. She decided, don't ask me to say that. Twice.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: She put together a girl's getaway trip and they went
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to Jamaica. The ladies decided to go to Jamaica to
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: get away from their men troubles. You know how we do.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Surely our girls get away. Yes, yes, I'm not mad
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: at one. Okay. They went to Jamaica and uh, the
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: guys waka flocka. He's having problems with his wife, Tammy.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: They're still, you know, kind of not together. She let
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: him move back in. Yeah, he is on probation. Well,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: his wife was the one that put the trip together.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: So he tells the guys, hey, the ladies are on
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the trip to Jamaica. They decided to go crash the trip.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: So the fella, Yeah, the fellas decide they're gonna go
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to Jamaica. Now, young Jock, he can say what he
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: wants to say about Carly read but I think he's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: sprung over her because he goes, Yeah, he goes all
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: the way to Jamaica. Who does that? Does that? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Exactly for love? Yeah yes, yes, keeping one. So we'll
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: see next week, we're gonna find out. We'll see the
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Fellas show up. Kirk is even there. He's gonna show
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: up to talk to Rashida and she's gonna tell him
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: about her experience or her encounter with this young guy
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Logan who claims to be the baby daddy of his
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: alleged baby drama. So we'll see what happens at the
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: country probation who waka flocka? He's on probation with his
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: with his wife that kind of yeah, allegedly cheating on
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: his wife and things like that. Let's move on. Yeah,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: even if if it's not Kirk's baby, does Rashida still
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: take them back or how did how does that work
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: for you? Because he still cheated cheated? Yeah, yeah, he's
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: still cheated, allegedly cheated. Yeah, they're having problems in the
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: marriage and he said, he said he made a mistake,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: he apologized to his wife, and they were having problems
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: at the time. What I didn't like about what Kirk
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: was saying he was kind of basically blaming his wife
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Rashida his infidelity issues. That's what I did like that
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: there was nobody else standing there. Ride it out, Junior,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: just but there was nobody else there too, blame your fault.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: I was out there. Yeah, but we will see. We
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: will see what happens next week. It looks pretty good.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: And uh Dime and Tammy. You know Shirley, I love Dime.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: I really like Jessica Domes. She's trying to get herself together.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: She has her boyfriend and her and Tammy. They apologize
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: and squashed their beat. So now, yeah, you are all
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: caught up on love and hip hop Atlanta. Let's move on.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Here we go, you guys. Former Basketball Wives star. Do
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you know Laura? I think her last name is go
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Van Laura go Van or go Vain. Yeah. She has
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: four children from former NBA star Gilbert Arenas. Do you
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: guys remember, Okay, well, Laura was a guest star on
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: the show Uh eyan La Fixed My Life, you know
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: the show on Yeah Ja, He's so stupid, He's so stupid.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Laura wanted yan La to change her public image and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you know, kind of break free from this bad behavior
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: reality star image that Laura has kind of created on TV.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: And Laura is in the middle of a nasty custody
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: battle with her children's father, Gilbert Arenas. And Gilbert, you know,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: he has the money, he has the power as a
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: strong financial fight, and Laura and her parents they feel
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: that she may be at risk of losing her children
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: and so they kind of want her to just to
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: get it together. But listen to eyan La. She tells
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Laura to stop fighting Gilbert, take a listen. I'm afraid
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to You're not gonna But no, you don't know. No,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: you don't know because you keep fighting to hold onto him.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: And when it got to you yesterday, you're not gonna
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: lose your kids. You don't want to. His fight is
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: not with those kids, for those kids, about those kids.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: His fight is to take you down right there, Get out,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Take your time you should have with me. I get Rather,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I'm saying, sound just like me. You're not gonna lose
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: your kids. He's going to take you down. I'm saying
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: you gotta go Reality Update. Rather, you're listening to Steve
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. Doctors recommend that people get seven hour
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: sleep at night. Okay. According to a new study, they
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: suggest that getting extra hours of sleep on the weekends,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: known as social jet lag, can lead to poor health,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: bad moods, and fatigue. Getting extra hours. They suggested getting
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: extra hours of sleep on the weekends, known as social
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: jet lag, can lead to poorer health, bad moods, and fatigue.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: I think that they mean not getting extra sleep extra
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: I'm looking at it. Or if you get extra sleep,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: if you sleep too much on the weekends, okay, all right,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: every extra hour of sleep over your normal sleep patterns
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: could result in an eleven percent increase in the risk
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: of heart disease. Okay, so if you sleep too much, yeah,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: you're talking about ruining it. You can sleep now. So
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: this suggests that a regular sleep schedule maybe an effective,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: relatively simple, and inexpensive preventative treatment for heart disease, as
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: well as many other heart problems health problems. So just
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: get your normal amount of sleep during the week and
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: then you don't have to get extra sleep on the weekend.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: We travel so much, we forget where we are. No,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: we went in New York. Yeah, now you wake up
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: in l A and you like, I got three more hours?
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: No food, l A work at three am, so that's
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: on your body land. And then on the other hand,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: it's it's very hard for us to get seven hours
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: of sleep at night during the week with this schedule. Yeah,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: we're good if we get four or five. Talking about sleeping,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: too much sleeping and all that. Yeah, you don't sleep well,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: but you're not asleep. But you know, I think people
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: are overdoing it. You cannot sleep eight hours a day.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: You can't. It's a third of your life. You cannot
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: be asleep eight hours every day. That's one third of
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: your entire life. Man, you can't be asleep a third
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: of your life in acquire anything not of great value. Now,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: you can have a job if that's all you want.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Didn't cool, ain't no problems, But you can't want more
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: in life and be sleep fade hours. So let's suggests
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: that a regular sleep schedule maybe an effective, relatively simple,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: and inexpensive preventative treatment for heart disease as well as
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: many other heart problems, health problems. That's why I like naps.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: They just show up. Napple just unexplained. I'm here. Yeah,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna knock you between Jay's talking about especially when
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: your chin is on with man. You've been in it.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Step on the plane one time, man with ship. And
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: when I woke up, I was on the aisle whe
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: staring at me. I felt my dribble going down. A
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: man in front of my shirt was riched Oh my god.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Yeah man, yeah. When the white person sitting next you said, well,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: somebody got a get nap, he said, said the entertainer
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: had a partner name KB, And we was all in
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: first class and we fell asleep. KB was snowing so loud.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: We was laughing so hard. It's white got next to
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: him kept waking him up. He woke KB up the
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: third time. KB said, wake me up again, Yeah, one
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: more time. My mama used to snow really, brother, brother,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back right back after these James.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: All right. When you're short on time, sometimes you have
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: to grab lunch on the go, like at a gas
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: station or something like that. These days, there are plenty
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: of healthy options at most convenience stores, and thirty one
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: year old Frank Beard is living proof of that. He's
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: an Iowa man. He lost eighty pounds a few years
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: back by changing his lifestyle, and last summer he spent
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: thirty days eating only at gas stations to prove he
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: could get nutritious meals there all right. Now, he's traveling
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: the country to share his story, and some people are
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: working two jobs, long hours, non traditional hours, Beard says,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: so it makes sense to eat out for a lot
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: of people. So I wanted to show them that they
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: could do that and still make healthy choices. Of course,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: some locations are better than others, but lots of gas
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: stations offer fresh fruit, veggie salads, and sandwiches these days.
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: Beard says. The key is making healthy choices when you're
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: surrounded by chips, candy, and other less nutritious, tempting options.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: Uh so, you guys, Stephen j. You know you mentioned
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: about traveling a lot. Uh so can can you eat healthy?
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: About the convenience stores at four and save four thirty
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: in the morning, you're coming from the club. You don't
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: know how long them chicken wings have been there, but
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: there's no place else to get chicken wings. They're healthy,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: They're gonna eat the chicken. You don't care. You know
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: you got a guy behind the gun's gonna lie to you.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: We just put them out from Dick. Yeah really, Jay Junior,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: tell them are they good and what you're gonna get
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: them chicken wings, although they're not even hot. You're gonna
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: grab him like chickens. Man, you're not lonely've been there,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: you don't care. But they're good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, done
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: that there, Mike Rubbery. But you don't give a day.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Oh my god. This is interesting because I'm always a
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: little leary concerned about the Ya. You ain't got time
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: to be waiting about how long it's been. Eventually, be
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: on the road in small little towns and stuff. Yeah,
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: and that's the last slice of pizza. Oh yeah, wrap
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: that up. I'll be taking that with me. I'll be
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: taking that with my favorite meal at a gas station. Yeah,
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: I kid you not cola joke. Cola when I was
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: I don't remember that cola yeah, or some type of cola.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: And two damn moon pas. Oh my goodness. And you
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: could hit the road. You could hit the road, man, Yeah,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: you could. You could do some driving over that. I'm
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: like my girlfriend and that when she said I cannot
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: mix my sweets. Can't she can't eat sweets with sweets,
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: drink a soda and then eat it and do it.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Cancel each other, cancel. Well, back in the day, B
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: d that, Betty would you're listening right, It's almost that time.
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: Steve comes around once a year usually talking about your
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: mentoring camp for boys. It's actually going to be next weekend,
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: next week. It starts next Tuesday. Yeah, next Tuesday, next weekend.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: I'm bringing them down into the Oh don't just below
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: make up my head to get another camp this year.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: My other one had a couple of situations in it.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: I went on and got another camp. Uh, so I
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: could serve with some more boys and some other areas.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Two otter fifty boys will be getting off the bus
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: on Tuesday with their mothers um except for the junior
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: councilor s they come along. The moms will be here.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: We've got great programs lined up for the mom But
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: we're gonna take them boys. We're gonna shape them. We're
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: gonna redesign they think, and we're gonna put something else
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: in their head. We're gonna teach them a lot about discipline.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: We're gonna teach them about manhood, and we're gonna teach
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: them about dreaming. God is a huge part of manhood.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: It's a lot simpler if you include God. When we
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: talked to these boys, we spend all the time with them.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: I come in that evening, man, and I'm there the
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: whole time. It's not a camp where I show up
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: at the end of something or greet them and then
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: I'm gone. I'm at the camp the whole time. How
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: different is you're mentoring now from when you when you're
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: very first started your boys camp. Well, um, it's evolved
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: until we have a much stronger after after care program.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: The follow up program is out standing, headed up by
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: Frank Hollom. We have more events for the boys after
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: the camp is over. Now we go to games, we socialize,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: we have meetings. Yeah, we keep up with two boys.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: I've seen the boys up there at one time at
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: the office. They was up there cleaning up. Man. They
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: working again. So we keep we keep in contact with them.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: And after care program is much better. And then our
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: facilities we use are stronger. And then there's a lot
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: more to do, and we have more counseling available, and
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: we have more courses and stuff for the moms to
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: take and get it. I love the success stories that
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: the guys that come that are hardcore. They're not going
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: to do anything you can say to them. And then
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: by the time they leave, you know, they're all humble
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: and you know, just excellent kids. After that, you know,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: it's something about what you guys do at the camp
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: that can change their lives for real. It is because
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: I had to come to the conclusion we have an
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: educational component, but every child is not going to college.
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: Every child don't even want to go to college. M
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: There's some guys who want to go to the military,
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: girls who want to go to the military, people that
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: want to start working. You know, I mean, you know,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: we have it for everybody. But the one thing we
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: are consistent, no matter what's route in life you want
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: to take, we want you to be the best citizen,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: the best man, the best father, to the best husband
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: that you can be. We're trying to make great citizens
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: and we are. We're changing boys live. If you can
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: help us, it'll be great. Uh. Textas number and your
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: text button the press the where the line says to
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: I want you to type in text Steve and press
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: in and then they'll tell you what to do. Huh.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: What made you change the location from the well? Because
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: when I do when I fly boys in and I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: use local boys, I was using a lot of local
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: Texas boys and so I decided to as I'm a
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: fly a hundred of the men, and I'm gonna use
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: a hundred from the area. Then I moved it over
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: to Atlanta so we could get some Georgia boys in it.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: Sometimes we're getting from North Carolina. Sometime they drive from Floridas,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: you know. But it's kids, just more access to different boys,
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: so it's not the same pool, that's all it was.
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: It did that right there, and also next weekend as
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Father's Day weekend. I'm always there on Father's Day because
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: Father's Day is a pretty usually pretty cold day for
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: these kids, but that don't have fathers in their lives.
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: Right up, my daddy was not there. I'd love to
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: hang out. Well, that's what it is. That's what they
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: provide role models for boys. And then you want to
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: be rolling. I don't want to be up no Roma.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: I want to hang out and fish and swam, and
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: I don't want to be you want to you sta.
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Every year the queues come out from a big numbers,
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Big Blue and Big Ricky Lewis head up that program
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: with the bros. A lot of capitals come from it too,
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: out of Alpha's you know, he's been stigma and I'll
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: still be there. Yeah, that's really cool. And they talked
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: to him about their jobs and their lives. You know,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: everybody is gonna be a rapper. Let's stop this. Mm hmmm.
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: So it's just really really interesting. Man's Chris work Man.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: You're doing also his Father's Day weekend next weekend. And Uh,
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: I want to offer some money saving things. I've got
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: a new soap line that's in Walmart called Built Built
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: Soap for Men b I LT. It comes in some
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: fragrances that I created from my travels of love of beaches,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: uh and stuff like that in the outdoor boy I'm
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: a country boy so and I also came up with
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: some old Havanna fragrances for the cigar dudes out there.
