- 0:19Speaker 1: through good it. Steve listening to the movie Together for study,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me, be doing me. Honey. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn you gotta turn to turnow, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water go. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back, dad, I share will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Y'all listening to the voice come on dig me now
- 2:07Speaker 1: wanted only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here
- 2:13Speaker 1: we go. I was working out. I was talking to
- 2:18Speaker 1: a buddy of mine, and I was telling him something
- 2:22Speaker 1: that Bishop td Jake's told me one time. I heard
- 2:26Speaker 1: him say it. He said, I would hate to die
- 2:32Speaker 1: and not do the thing that I was born to do.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I would hate to die and not do the theme
- 2:43Speaker 1: that I was born to do. Man, oh man, oh man, man.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That hit me like a like a like a pile
- 2:51Speaker 1: of bricks man, because it made me feel so grateful
- 2:57Speaker 1: that God has allowed me to live my life this
- 3:02Speaker 1: way now. And I'm talking about grateful for all of it,
- 3:08Speaker 1: the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I have
- 3:12Speaker 1: had all of them. The person you see today it
- 3:17Speaker 1: ain't always who I was. It was on the inside
- 3:20Speaker 1: of me, but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It hadn't been brought out. It was in here, but
- 3:28Speaker 1: it was under development. Who I am today was a process.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But like I said before, don't trip Hem through with
- 3:39Speaker 1: me yet. Even today, I'm still an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Today I still fall short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know what, I want to encourage everybody today to explore
- 4:04Speaker 1: your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would
- 4:12Speaker 1: you not want to find out, discover, or know what
- 4:21Speaker 1: it is God got for you? Why would you not
- 4:25Speaker 1: want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities? Now,
- 4:30Speaker 1: as I ask you this question, I want you to
- 4:33Speaker 1: know that the devil is busy, that he plays mind tricks.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So as you hear this, I already know he's saying
- 4:40Speaker 1: to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve, that's easy for you
- 4:43Speaker 1: to say, But I didn't get myself in this situation
- 4:46Speaker 1: right here. Ain't nothing too hard for God? Nothing, nothing
- 4:54Speaker 1: and see. So as you listen to me, try to
- 4:57Speaker 1: try to get your mind open to this. Why would
- 5:00Speaker 1: you not want to explore all of your life's possibilities,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what's possible with your life? And I'm talking about from
- 5:09Speaker 1: right where you are right now. I'm not asking you
- 5:12Speaker 1: to change, I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm
- 5:16Speaker 1: telling you this is a fact that God can get
- 5:19Speaker 1: you from right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:34Speaker 1: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:39Speaker 1: talking about in your life. You know you. I missed
- 5:43Speaker 1: the lottery, I missed my ride. They fined men, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: missed the deadline. I didn't get it miss pop. People
- 5:51Speaker 1: just miss stay self to death. If you've been all
- 5:55Speaker 1: in missus, God can get you from right where you are.
- 6:00Speaker 1: God a home run hitter. I'm here to tell you
- 6:02Speaker 1: that he's a home run hitter. He's all put him
- 6:05Speaker 1: over the wall whenever he wants to, all the time.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And you can be a recipient or some of these
- 6:10Speaker 1: home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand. But
- 6:12Speaker 1: you got to swain. Now, listen to me. You got
- 6:16Speaker 1: to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to stop
- 6:19Speaker 1: holding yourself down with beating yourself up. I was listening
- 6:22Speaker 1: to George Myers on TV the other day and she
- 6:25Speaker 1: said that she was talking to God, and she said
- 6:28Speaker 1: that she had kept asking God to forgive her over
- 6:32Speaker 1: and over one of her prayers, Lord, forgive me and
- 6:35Speaker 1: for something she had done, and she was telling it
- 6:37Speaker 1: to somebody. As I remember the story she was telling,
- 6:41Speaker 1: she says she was telling that to somebody and minister
- 6:43Speaker 1: or something, and the minister said, hey, hey, hey, he
- 6:47Speaker 1: heard you the first time. See a lot of us
- 6:50Speaker 1: we keep ourselves down and back because we keep beating
- 6:54Speaker 1: ourselves up for the mistakes weed and made. But God
- 6:58Speaker 1: is in a forgiving business all day long. He forgives
- 7:03Speaker 1: you time and time again. He won't hold you down
- 7:06Speaker 1: about it if you don't hold yourself down about it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you one more time. The devil
- 7:10Speaker 1: is busy. So what the devil do is he makes
- 7:13Speaker 1: you think you ain't worthy. He makes you think that
- 7:16Speaker 1: you've done something so despicable that you can't come back
- 7:19Speaker 1: from it. He makes you feel like you're so low
- 7:21Speaker 1: you can't go up high. He knocked you down and
- 7:24Speaker 1: make you feel like you've been knocked down harder than
- 7:26Speaker 1: anybody else. You can't get up, he wrote, you so
- 7:28Speaker 1: deep down in that ditch you can't see over the edge.
- 7:33Speaker 1: God can come get you from no matter where you are.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I know a lady. I know a lady personally. The
- 7:41Speaker 1: doctors told her you got sixty days tops a year
- 7:46Speaker 1: and a half. Lady, she was still here. I'm telling you, man,
- 7:52Speaker 1: you ain't in no hole too deep for God. Magic
- 7:58Speaker 1: Johnson to tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't
- 8:00Speaker 1: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 8:03Speaker 1: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 8:06Speaker 1: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I can
- 8:10Speaker 1: name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I could tell you. Kenneth Alma can tell you that.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olman I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 8:18Speaker 1: Franklin can tell you that. Donnie Mcclerkton can tell you that.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I just know some people personally, man that they've been
- 8:24Speaker 1: in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell you about it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 8:31Speaker 1: hole so deep. I bet you Paula Deane can tell
- 8:33Speaker 1: you about it. See but but you know what, then
- 8:38Speaker 1: here we go, see we see see you know see
- 8:42Speaker 1: we don't. We don't like to talk about that because
- 8:44Speaker 1: now we want everybody to pay extra hard for some
- 8:47Speaker 1: mistakes they made when clearly and excuse me for being
- 8:50Speaker 1: a new Christian, but there is a prayd that I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: been saying since I was a little bitty boy, and
- 8:55Speaker 1: it took me till I was a grown man to
- 8:57Speaker 1: understand it. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 9:01Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So see, it ain't
- 9:04Speaker 1: my job to hold nobody down, to keep my knee
- 9:08Speaker 1: on somebody's neck. Who am I? I'm gonna need some
- 9:11Speaker 1: forgiveness in a second here, probably today. See so all this,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you're holding people down with the way you feeling bout
- 9:19Speaker 1: the man. She shouldn't have said this, and she will
- 9:21Speaker 1: never get it. I never support this again. Man, Get up,
- 9:24Speaker 1: get up and get real. You're for real. You think
- 9:26Speaker 1: you ain't fit the need forgiveness? Real soon? You ain't
- 9:29Speaker 1: finn to make a diabolical mistake in your life. You
- 9:31Speaker 1: don't think you are. I have thousands of them, probably
- 9:35Speaker 1: gonna make a few hundred more for I get up
- 9:37Speaker 1: out of here. So I've decided to be in a
- 9:40Speaker 1: forgiving business because I want God to forgive my trust
- 9:45Speaker 1: passes as I forgive those who trust passed against me.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I get I get tired of talking to to to
- 9:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved and talking about their
- 9:58Speaker 1: christian I don't want that type religion. Man. I ain't
- 10:00Speaker 1: in that, no more. I ain't in that. You can
- 10:02Speaker 1: call me wrong if you want to saying how you
- 10:04Speaker 1: want to say. I ain't in that no more. I
- 10:05Speaker 1: ain't in all that. You can feel how you want
- 10:07Speaker 1: to feel about me. But I got proof that God
- 10:09Speaker 1: work in my life. You know, I can't hardly get
- 10:12Speaker 1: it out sometime when people ask me something about deeper
- 10:15Speaker 1: on the inside of me, about my soul and how
- 10:17Speaker 1: I used to being, and my journey and my trip
- 10:19Speaker 1: because people don't know the trip I've been on. You
- 10:22Speaker 1: ain't been on one worse than me. But you know what,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you ain't in a hole too deep. God can't get
- 10:26Speaker 1: you out of. Man. I wish. I want. I want
- 10:29Speaker 1: people to remember that man, God is a redeemer, He
- 10:33Speaker 1: the great I am. So if you ain't got nothing. Now,
- 10:36Speaker 1: what you asking for? You know you might not have
- 10:39Speaker 1: nothing because you ain't asking for nothing. Could asking God
- 10:42Speaker 1: to get you out of debt and ask God for
- 10:44Speaker 1: a life of abundance. Then you take the money and
- 10:46Speaker 1: you get out of debt. You keep asking to get
- 10:48Speaker 1: out of debt. You keep being in debt to get
- 10:50Speaker 1: out of Come on, man, what you asking God? Fault?
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show people get read. There's a train
- 11:07Speaker 1: come in. You don't need no ticket. You just get home, boy,

- 23:01Speaker 1: and you got a little conversation we need to have
- 23:03Speaker 1: about property? Well we're talking about property? What property? And
- 23:07Speaker 1: the property we lived in? What are you talking about?
- 23:09Speaker 1: This is my property? Okay, Now I'm not talking about
- 23:11Speaker 1: your house or nothing like that. Oh I've got some
- 23:13Speaker 1: property over there that belonged to me, and I'm trying
- 23:16Speaker 1: to figure out how we can rectify the problem. Well,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm quite sure if there's something not to pack up
- 23:21Speaker 1: or whatever, you can come and get it. I don't
- 23:22Speaker 1: know what do you have over here in my house,
- 23:24Speaker 1: that yours. Okay, the ash the ashwald breast that she
- 23:28Speaker 1: had belonged to me, the breast. I bought her some
- 23:32Speaker 1: breast implants. Man, I ain't know nothing about nor the
- 23:35Speaker 1: breast in plants. Okay, you might not know nothing about it,
- 23:38Speaker 1: but the bottom line is I spend ten thousand dollars
- 23:40Speaker 1: on some breasting plants, and I want my property back, buddy,
- 23:44Speaker 1: man Jeeves. No, man, you're not getting back. What are
- 23:48Speaker 1: you talking about? Pressing plan? I ain't know nothing about that. Man. Man,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I understand you not knowing about it, but I'm calling
- 23:53Speaker 1: you like a man explaining it to you know, I'm
- 23:55Speaker 1: trying to let you know. You know, I bought her
- 23:57Speaker 1: some breasting plants. Now that's my property, not just like

- 24:04Speaker 1: an engagement don't work out, you want your ring back? Well,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I want my breath back. Oh no, man, if you

- 24:16Speaker 1: you ain't get back. Hey, man, I'm getting them back. Oh.

- 24:29Speaker 1: dollars the breasting plague you ain't getting you come over

- 24:39Speaker 1: have bought when you got married. You know what I'm saying.
- 24:42Speaker 1: You should have waited, then bout the damn tell them mine,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna be over here. That's what I'm gonna do

- 24:55Speaker 1: you don't tell me whin and win when I supposed
- 24:57Speaker 1: to buy thought I buy someone I feel like it.
- 24:59Speaker 1: But the bottom line here them breast alone to me, No,
- 25:02Speaker 1: no it's gonna work. We'rena somebody gonna pay me ten
- 25:04Speaker 1: thousand dollars one way or the up. Oh no, no,
- 25:06Speaker 1: you ain't getting nothing back here, man. You got to
- 25:08Speaker 1: move on with your life. Man, when y'all broke up,
- 25:11Speaker 1: y'all running together. No motive left with us. She walked
- 25:15Speaker 1: away with a man. That's it. That's over. I'm sorry.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Let me say something to you, man. I'm coming over there.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I'm coming over there and have a conversation with Madison
- 25:23Speaker 1: about this, because that's whoever darely. I need to talk
- 25:25Speaker 1: to you. No, you're not talking to nobody over here.

- 54:20Speaker 1: All right. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 54:24Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, it is time now for today's
- 54:28Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. Guys, and if you need advice on relationships,
- 54:31Speaker 1: on dating, on work, on sex, on parenting, and more,
- 54:36Speaker 1: please please Please submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey
- 54:39Speaker 1: FM and click submit Strawberry letter. We could be reading
- 54:43Speaker 1: your letter just like we're gonna read this one right now.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Never buck it up and hold on tight. We got
- 54:50Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letters subject
- 54:53Speaker 1: the minister wants more than my todds. All right, Dear
- 54:57Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty nine year old single
- 55:00Speaker 1: female and my dad is a well known pastor. I
- 55:04Speaker 1: moved back home after college and I've been a big
- 55:06Speaker 1: part of the church family since then. I help out
- 55:09Speaker 1: with the youth ministry and I get along well with
- 55:12Speaker 1: the youth minister. He is five years older than me
- 55:15Speaker 1: and he's married. The youth minister and I always had
- 55:19Speaker 1: great faith based talks and I looked up to him
- 55:22Speaker 1: as a spiritual mentor until recently. Two weeks ago, after service,
- 55:27Speaker 1: he was walking me to my carb and he said
- 55:30Speaker 1: we need to talk about sex and salvation and I
- 55:34Speaker 1: was like, say what. I reminded him that I was
- 55:38Speaker 1: abstinate and did not want to talk about sex at all.
- 55:42Speaker 1: He said he needed to confide in me because he
- 55:45Speaker 1: is a natural born freak and he's ready to leave
- 55:49Speaker 1: his wife because she can no longer satisfy his sexual needs.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Then he said there is nothing wrong with having sex
- 55:57Speaker 1: before marriage, that God created sex for men and women
- 56:00Speaker 1: to use, not abuse. He told me that every man
- 56:04Speaker 1: in the church talks about how I am a brick
- 56:06Speaker 1: house and it's a shame that I won't let anyone
- 56:10Speaker 1: show me how to use this gift to my advantage.
- 56:13Speaker 1: He said, being sexually active is a natural thing if
- 56:17Speaker 1: experienced with the right person. He said that he could
- 56:20Speaker 1: show me all of this mess that he said goes
- 56:24Speaker 1: against everything that I've been taught. I know I may
- 56:27Speaker 1: sound slow, but could he be right? And I'm saving
- 56:32Speaker 1: myself for nothing. I am somewhat attracted to him, and
- 56:36Speaker 1: the thought of him teaching me about my body and
- 56:38Speaker 1: sex is enticing. But he's married. What do you think
- 56:43Speaker 1: is it worth the weight? Or should I go ahead
- 56:46Speaker 1: and get a little experience from someone that's willing to
- 56:49Speaker 1: help me? Wo? Wow? This guy is a minister. Uh well,
- 56:55Speaker 1: he should know better. He really should know better. And
- 56:58Speaker 1: he's a youth minister on top of that, so he's
- 57:01Speaker 1: leading our youth. What he's doing is tempting you, and
- 57:04Speaker 1: I got to ask you please don't take the bait.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Don't listen to him talking about how he's a natural
- 57:10Speaker 1: born freak who's ready to leave his wife because she
- 57:12Speaker 1: can't satisfy him sexually. What does that have to do
- 57:15Speaker 1: with youth ministry? And he's married on top of that.
- 57:20Speaker 1: You know, this is why they say, and this is
- 57:23Speaker 1: why you have to please know God for yourself, and
- 57:26Speaker 1: don't let anyone tell you their version or their interpretation
- 57:29Speaker 1: of the truth. You can read the Bible just like
- 57:33Speaker 1: he can, and he can tell you these things, but
- 57:36Speaker 1: you have to read and there what it says. If
- 57:37Speaker 1: you're a Christian and you want to do what it says,
- 57:40Speaker 1: you're in the church, so hopefully you know you would
- 57:43Speaker 1: want to lead by example. I mean, you know, yeah,
- 57:45Speaker 1: sex is natural and all of that stuff, but we
- 57:48Speaker 1: also have a thing called self control. Now I'm speaking
- 57:51Speaker 1: to you because you're in the church and you're around
- 57:53Speaker 1: the youth and all the stuff. You know, and he
- 57:56Speaker 1: should be leading the youth, not trying to mislead the
- 58:00Speaker 1: youth with what he's talking about. He's trying to have
- 58:01Speaker 1: sex with you and he's married. Okay, all of that's wrong. No,
- 58:06Speaker 1: you should not let him give you this experience and
- 58:09Speaker 1: all of that. He is wrong. He's got a wife
- 58:11Speaker 1: at home. If I were you, I would tell my
- 58:13Speaker 1: dad what he's doing and let him know that this
- 58:17Speaker 1: youth minister is trying to lead you down the wrong
- 58:19Speaker 1: path as well. Steve, Ah, I'm not going along with
- 58:28Speaker 1: this total naive conversation. She never said she says she
- 58:33Speaker 1: was abstinent, right, she never says she was a virgin. Yeah,
- 58:37Speaker 1: she says she's abstinate. Yeah, So let's let's look at
- 58:40Speaker 1: this a little bit different. Twenty nine female, Fine, come
- 58:45Speaker 1: home working into daddy's church. Now youth ministers five years old,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and you'll always had great faith based talks, you know,
- 58:56Speaker 1: you always looked up to him as a spiritual mentor. Yeah,
- 59:01Speaker 1: and then he was walking you to your car. Then
- 59:03Speaker 1: he said the one thing that I don't know how
- 59:05Speaker 1: he put in the same sentence, but he said, let's
- 59:07Speaker 1: talk about sex and salvation. Let me immediately make a
- 59:16Speaker 1: statement that it is filled with corruption, sex and salvation
- 59:26Speaker 1: lost and found at the same time, glory is what
- 59:34Speaker 1: we're talking about with sex and salvation. All right. You
- 59:42Speaker 1: know that's like saying the booge man ain't really that
- 59:46Speaker 1: scared let's talk about sex with a married man, and
- 59:55Speaker 1: at the same time, let's sprinkle in some salvation. Preacher,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I would venture to say, come on him now that
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this young man wants to bide it wants to a
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: laid down in any kind of pass, not where the
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Lord lead him, but where he wants to go. Because
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: how in the hell is we walk into the car
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and all of a sudden the subject of sex and
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: salvation pop up on down. It didn't come out of nowhere.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: She had been devising this, planning it, nurturing the moment.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Land in wait and Bush walked you to the car.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: He said he needed to confide in you because he
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: is quote unquote a natural bone freak. Yes, that's from
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the NBL Foundation. What's that? What's that mean? Right now?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: There is the natural born freaks of a male. I
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: mean now he's ready to leave his wife because she
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: can no longer satisfy his sexual need. Anybody ever wanted
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: she might not be satisfied. You know, sometimes we want
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to say that they can't satisfy us no more, when
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: it's actually us that can't satisfy them. No, we come back.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: We're gonna get into this thing way deeper than you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: gonna want us to get in there again? All right?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Part two coming up a SE's response right after this
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: at eight twenty three. You're listening to show, all right,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: does Steve Let's recap today's Strawberry letters subject the minister
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: wants more than my time? Yes he does, he won't, huh.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: He walked up to her car and in the same sentence,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: he said, he wanted to discuss six in salvation. Yes,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: let's talk about it. I want to talk about freedom
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and sleeve. What you know, since we're talking about stuff
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that don't go together, you want to talk about six
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and salvation? Right? Will Ain't that about nothing? Let's you
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: and I into this. He told me that he needed
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: my attention because his wife could no longer satisfy him sexuality.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: What was that? Sexual wilder? Wild sexual wilder because he
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: is a natural bone freak, a member to the NBA,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: and he's ready to leave his wife because she can
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: no longer satisfy symphony. Then he went on to say,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: listen to this lie. There's nothing wrong with having sex
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: before marry. Now you know that ain't technically right. You
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: know that, mister minister. And for you to miss guide
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: this woman is really you're going to heal faster than
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you need to. No bout right now, and said that oh,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with having sex forul marriage, that God
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: created sex for men and women to use, not abused.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: He also said when you marry to cleave only unto
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: her and to leave all others. But you hadn't still
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he help in your face, leave it. He told me
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: that every man in the church talks about how I
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: am a brick house and it's a shame that I
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: won't let anyone show me how to use this gift
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: to my advance. Well right now, He said that being
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: sexually active as a natural thing, it just come out natural.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Sometimes you're just sitting there all of a sudden something natural. Help.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: You're just sitting there just feeling all natural. Next thing,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you know, naturally is everywhere natural. Now you looking at it,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: now you naturally slowly? Now you drooling. Now you're saying
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: stuff all is natural. He said that he could show
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: me all of this mess that he said goes against
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: everything that I've been taught. It go gets what he's
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: been taught. I know I may sound slow, but could
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: he be right? And am I saving myself for nothing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I am somewhat attracted to him, and thought of him
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: teaching me about my body and sex is entyson, But
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: he's married. What do you think Is it worth the weight?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Or should I go ahead and get a little experienced
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: from someone that's willing to help? Girl? First of all,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: letting me help you understand you don't need no help.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Come pastor uh, I'll say that again. You don't need
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: no help. Just continue being the fine young woman that
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you are and know that real help is on the way.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: See God gonna send you what you need. He's not
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: gonna let you live without it. So hold on, stay
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: away from this married man. That's a dangerous trap. He's
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: not leaving his wife. He's lying about that. He may
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: be a natural bone freak, but you don't need to
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: find out how freaky he is. He would put you
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: in a no win situation, young lady. There's nothing to
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: gain from it from you at all. It's all a
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: win win from him. Tell him to kiss your behind,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Tell him to take your behind, put it in the box,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: kiss it and don't miss a cooner. Tell him that
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: hell is awaiting him. Tell the past, Tell your daddy
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the past. That's what I said. Tell your daddy. That's
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: really all I have to say about this. Well, thank you, pastor.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Do we want her to send a picture? Though the
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: times till two thousand and three at y'allhood that comes?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: We just see this brick house? Do you get any
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: pictures in there? You've been pushing any pictures? Make it? Boy?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Do I tell them on what it gets loaded? I
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: need to know because I'll give you the cold because
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I can't use it no more. I give you the code.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: You realize you're married, stupid? Last thing I'm am stupid?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: No that last statement. No, No, that's not the last
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: thing you are. Thank you uncle. You're gonna stop saying
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: last thing I am in stupid? That's the very first thing.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Well that was a good answer. Step Yeah, you know,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that's all I need. She's looking like that lady you

- 1:08:31Speaker 1: walked to the car with something. Yeah, I need to
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: let it come about your mouth, have the path and
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: to bring you down. Speak about sex and salvation? What alright?
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Like you said, say that, let's talk about freedom and slavery.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: You know, come on, they don't go together. Sex and salvation.

- 1:11:12Speaker 1: it's a peppermint. That's the only thing you passed, either
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: peppermint or butterscotch. That's the only thing you passed in
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: church for somebody to snack on when you're doing it

- 1:14:36Speaker 1: but you know, you know what, we celebrate it though.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: That's right, we celebrate all year around Charlotte Scribberry and
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you know really unknown fact, you know it's really August. Listen,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: well you read the vibele. You know I think the
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Lord was a virgo, you know, for real, for real though,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And let me tell something
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: al but listen to me. Black people don't believe in
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Christmas until you hear temptations Solid night and Donny Hathaway.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: This Christmas, it's not it's not criminals, and Christmas just
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: ain't Christmas without the one you listen, New Year, just
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the new year, the reason you look you love. Go ahead,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvard, that's right, that's right. I was singing that song,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: and then Edie le Hurt came up to me and said,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: look at man, you can't be singing lead. I haven't
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: asked you what I have asked you nicely listening, and
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: then I messed it up. Then the messed it up
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: where you can't even sing babies cold outside, they'll make
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: no sense. Rudolph got bullet that that wasn't even what
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: it was about. But the ain't nobody mad that? Then
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: the Charlotte Brown thanksgiving Franklin, the only black person, Charlotte Brown,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: what's sitting by himself in a l on the other
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: side of I don't know about to care about that,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: little Franklin, little black boy we got. We're not margin
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: for Franklin, though, Oh you were gonna march for Franklin.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Thank you, Cheryl, We love you as always. Happy Holidays
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: to your girl, Marry Christmas. Thank you, Marry Christmas to you.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Carla is
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: here with Carla's Reality updates. Right after this. You're listening,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: all right, let's go, nephew, Let's get it. Let's get it.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: She is here Colin Farrell with reality date. Okay, thank you, nephew.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Here we go, everybody, Real Housewives of Atlanta. So I
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: remember last week when I told you about Shamari Devot
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: that's married to Ronnie Devote from new edition BBD. Well,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: you know his wife is on the show. And last
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: week she talked about the open marriage and that her
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: and Ronnie had an open relationship. Well, she told Ronnie
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: about it, and he was like, you and he got
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: to tell everything. That's right, right, he got to tell
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: it all. And she was like, she's not ashamed of
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: who she was, and she didn't mind, you know, letting
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: the women in the group know and the audience know
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: what happened in their marriage and that they're cool now.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: And so that was that. So it's like, Okay, Ronnie Davout,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: welcome to reality TV. Yeah, he's out there now. It's
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: out there now. And moving on. Kendy Burrus, we heard
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: from her friend Carmen. So Carmen and them were kind
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: of gossiping about Porsche's new man, Dennis, and they're saying
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: that he broke up with his ex once he got
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: with Porsche and that he has his ex name tattooed
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: all his body, and Candy and them were just trying
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: to you know, insinuate you know, the streets are talking
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: about Porsche's man. So anyway, Candy told Nannie and Cynthia,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: because you know, Candy and Porsche were you know, really beefing,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you know, a couple of seasons back and even last season,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: they weren't really talking to each other. But Nini told
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Porsche about the rumor about what Candy was saying. So
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Porsche made it perfectly clear that she does not care.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: She does not care that her man had tattoos and
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: all that was before her, and she says she's probably
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: looking at that woman's name on his body every day
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: because he has so many tattoos. And plus, Porsche's point
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: is Candy don't want nobody talking about Todd, so she
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: kind of wants you know, all that style. Yeah, which
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: is you agree Steve about Yeah, thank you, yes, all right?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: And then finally, let me just say, this guy's not
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: so much good news for Greg Leeks Nini's Yeah. On
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: this particular episode, he received news from Indie Anderson Hospital
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: that is in Houston, one of the best cancer hospitals
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: in the in the world, and he was getting care there,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: and the doctors called and said that they still test
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: show that there are some cancer cells in Greg's body
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: and the doctors are recommending cheal therapy. And previously Greg
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: had decided that he wasn't going to do chemo therapy.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: He wasn't going to take it in his earlier stages
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: in his battle against colon cancer. So, uh, you know,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: still praying for Greg and uh you know, prayer of
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: healing you know. And Needy is right there. She got
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: him a chef and trying to change his diet and
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: nutrition and trying to get him to eat healthy on
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: the show. So we got a chance to see that.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: So praying for Greg. So is he going to change
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: his mind you think and and do the chemo now
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: another is he gonna do it? I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: on the show, they really haven't said it. You know,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: he talked about his faith on the show, and then
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: he was upset his faith. You know, he's questioning now
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: what's going on because once he received that phone call,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you know, so he is still battling cancer. So we'll see. Wow,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: we're gonna pray for him. Because people were sitting talking
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: when he made that statement, Carla, people were, yeah, saying
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: that he should have gone gone ahead and accepted the chemo.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: It was chemos therapy. Yeah, that's a very big and
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: personal decision, you know. And and a lot of people say,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you know, I've lost my mom to cancer and I
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: saw her go through a chemotherapy and radiation all that.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: And people say, you know, if the disease doesn't kill you,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: the treatment will. So you know, you have to respect
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: him wanting to do other options then going to chemotherapy.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, prayers are going out for Greg Leaks. Yeah,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: and switching gears here, let's switch gears. Let's talk about
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: a show. It's a dating show. It comes on the
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Own network on Saturday nights. It's called Ready to Love.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: He talks about Nephew Tommy, our very young one. I
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: didn't I didn't know I was an og. They called
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you on the show. Yeah, I did not know I
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: was gonna hold you. I took it a fisi at first,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: like true Tommy. When we talked about this earlier in
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: the week, Tommy and for those that missed it, Nephew Tommy.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: He talked to some of the male contestants on this show,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: the new dating show that he is the host of.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: It's called Ready to love, and he talked about Tommy
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: had a moment where he talked about you, talked about
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: your dad and being a good husband. So if you
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: missed it earlier in the week, I want to play
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: it for you again. Take a listen. I know there's
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: been times out of your marriage, your relationship that you
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: came to a point where it's like, with damn, can
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I deal with it? You know what I can tell
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you on that is I had a father that never
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: left my mom, never did nothing negative to my mom.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: My daddy left here three years ago, was with mom,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: mom to the end, to the end. So that's all
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I know. I ain't going nowhere. I'm to the end
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: because I grew up like that. I grew up with
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: a father in my house who was real and I
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: didn't know nothing about leaving or going nowhere else. We
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: had hard times, we had issues, bills, this and that,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: so I don't know nothing else. I said, I'm forever. Wow,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: that was real, right, that real, genuine moment. That's what
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: you were saying. Still don't believe it's him that I really,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I really don't. I'm sorry him talking. Ye. No, I
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: don't know how they do that. I promise you. That's
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: not I saw him saying it. I don't care what
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you did it. That's will talking, will pass. We're proud
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: of you, Ready to love. I'm not proud, Yes you are.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: That's him, Steve. All need to look at this thing close.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I've seen it a couple of times. It's him. I'm forever.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Oh he acting, Come on, junior him. I just like
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: what he said in life. You know, hit me up
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: on lips By Carlo, were running out of town with
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: reality Update. We could talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Ready to Love Kardashians. I got it all for you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: at lips By Carla. Will be back at twenty after
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you're listening. Okay, Steve. You know, there was a time
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: when cheating was defined as either you were sleeping with
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: someone else, or you won't or you weren't. That it
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: was just that simple, right, Well, then things got extended
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: with subcategories like flirting, like kissing, like texting, like porn,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: and whatever else can be described. But listen, whatever else
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: can be described as vying for the affections or attention
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: of someone other than the one you're you're committed to. Okay, Well,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: now there's a new one. Guys. It's called financial cheating. Okay,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: financial cheating down for me. I think I might be
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: guilty of this. I've never even heard of this, but
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I just the words. Okay. Psychologists define it as any
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: purposeful financial deceit oh, between two or more individuals who've
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: got a stated or unstated belief in mutual honest communications
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: around financial matters. So here's some things to look out
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: for if you if you suspect your spouse or your
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: mate of financial infidelity pretending a new purchase is an
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: old one. Jack, See right there, I knew, I knew
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: this was Oh yeah, it's just when this is me,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: this is us right, Saying you bought something on sale,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: oh when it was really full price? Done? Is financial cheating?
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, this should have been number one. Hiding
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: purchases and hiding receipts. Oh oh, fellas y'all go through
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: that jacket. Jacket. My wife don't do that. She just
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: put the stuff in the closet. I can't tell wasn't Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: and I show ain't looking for no receipt So I
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: missed that one. Yeah, you put in the trunk first,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: and you know then when the coast. Yeah, the coast,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: then you move it to the closet. Okay, here's some
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: other things when you know someone is financially cheating on you.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Hiding credit card statements. Oh I wish I could talk
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: right now without why y'all saying? Because I want to
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: say something I can't. That's why I'm saying. Uh, having
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: a secret credit card, you know what, I tried to
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: hold it. I hope she listens. I hope she listen.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Oh you did it, Oh, you you did that. Oh.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Here's another one. Having a secret stash of money. That's
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: how you know you're financially cheating on your part. Here's
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: another one, Steve keeping a raise or a bonus secret,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: not telling your spouse about that. See if you like
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: to go to Vegas gambling money away in secret or winning.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Told her that I had won these jackpots, and she
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: go on the side of the bed and get all
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: these tickets. I'm gonna cash he's in. Ain't no need
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: of you giving them back what she took your tickets?
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: You getting ready do what? I'm gonna cash these tickets
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: in some of these some of these are she thought
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: they token the token these chips you're talking about chips.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Oh ship, how much we're turning this in, Steve, you
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: got a lot of money right here. We ain't got
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: to go back and lose all this. Hey, listen to me.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Listen to me, me, and you come to Vegas for
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: two different reasons. You messing you're not touching the main reason.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I'm out. All right, we'll be bad. You put them
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: damn chips down with more, step away from them, step
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: waiting about your ticket with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening Stry Morning Show.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: All right. Before we left to go on break, we
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: were talking about financially cheating on our partners. Uh, this
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: is a new form of cheating. When you're financially um
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: cheating on them, you know you. So cheating has been extended. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: there's not just sleeping with someone anymore. Financially yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: I got I'm listening to this second. All right. Here's
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: here's one. Here's the number one one. I think if
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: you're financially cheating on your wife or your spouse or whoever,
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: taking money out of savings without telling your partners, that's big,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: right there. I don't do that. Yeah, but that's big.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: I think this is really a serious one right here.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Have you No, I haven't we we you know, played
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: around with the other ones. I mean sure, I've hid
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: some shoes and dresses and stuff like that in my
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: close of course. Of course I don't know any woman
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: who hasn't done that. Uh, you know, pretending someone something
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: I have on that's new is old. Oh this whole thing.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Oh I've been had this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just got
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: pay attention to me. Yeah. I did not just sit
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: down in the closet with price to but this taking
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: money out of saving Steve without telling your partner. You
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: can't do that. But our savings is connected to two signals.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: We can never touch our savings without the signature of
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: the other person. How much? How much? In the man
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: probably like how be quiet, like it's calling you. You
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: don't want to listen to here? How much it's like
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: it's over, it's so, it's so five times. Oh we
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: know that. Put that out there. It's over five gave this.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: So you're saying, so, you know how sometimes your savings account,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: you have your checking account, and if you want to
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: move some money to your checking account. You're saying that
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: neither one of you guys can move it without the
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: other one's permission, Like you just can't sign and move
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: it on the savings on the state savings account. You
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: gotta have an accountability account between people. Okay, this is
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask Steve. None of them in
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: line with that, because I always think this. I love
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: how you break this down. When you say you should
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: have four different pounds if you're married, break that down
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: because I mean, you've talked about it, but to keep
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: the marriage happy, if both of you are working, or
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: one of you is working, whatever the case, you bring
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: that money together and you put it together in the
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: joint bill pay account, and you pay all of your
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: bills out of that house, car, gas, electric, everything that
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: takes to run a house, you know, lunch money, you know.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: Then each one of you have an individual account where
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: you get an allowance and she gets an allowance, or
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: she gets an allowance and you get an allowance. That
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: money is yours to spend until the next paycheck, and
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: neither one of you can save what the other one
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: spends their money on. And then you need to fourth account,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: a joint savings account where whatever you all agree is
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: to save you put it in the savings account. That
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: requires two signatures to move. So you can deposit money
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: all you want one person, but you can't take it
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: out without signature of both people. That will help you save. Oh,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: I got a question, I say, Hey, I can't answer. God,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: I just want to know what you do when somebody
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: has opened up or create a car that you didn't
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: know nothing about. Wait, hold on, hold on, we can
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: come back here. Yeah, we have one that American Express.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: We have one more break before we get to closer. Okay, quiet,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: all right, we have one more break. That's our last
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: break of the day. And Tommy has a question for
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: his uncle when we come back. Right after this. You're
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: listening to show here we are last break of the day.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: We were talking got into some pretty deep financial stuff, Steve.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: You were telling us some you know about the four
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: bank accounts that the married couple should have. Yeah, that
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: that keeps a lot of peace in your house. It
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: really does. I found that to be true. You have
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: a joint account, whether one of you or two of
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: you work, you cold mingle the money, or you put
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: it all in there. You pay all your bills, then
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: you determine what each one each other as allowance is
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: she gets her money, he gets his money, and they
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: have an account. Neither one of those can check on
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: what the other one is spending out of that account.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: That's their business. And then you need to join account
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: where you all put your savings in. But in order
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: to move it, you could deposit, but you in order
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: to move it it takes two cents. Let's go back there.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Let's you ran over something too fast? But what is
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: your allowance? But what is y'all allowance? That's look like
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: you know it ain't that. I don't even know why
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: something has to have to allow you. That's your money.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: But what is your allowance? Though? Go ahead? What is that? Charlie?
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: They allow the hunt a month? Are timing up? Down
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: hundred dollars? Shit? Anyway back to what you wait? No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: your allowance is a hundred kate, No, Tommy, just go
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: you Holly, No, he said, no, go back to what
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you were saying, Steve, we'll do with your nephew. So
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: you were saying about yeah, go ahead, go ahead about
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: them about the four bank accounts? Very interesting, Yeah, it
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: just does it just holds it down. A guy talked
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: that to me. Years ago, and it really helped because
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: it goes down confusion and financial infidelity, and it allows
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: each one of you to have some form of individuality
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: while you're married. Yeah, look, you want to pay your
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: household bills together, but just getting married and then your bills,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: then my bills. That's a hard way to work. It
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: would be smooth if everybody put all the bills in
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: one pile and put both moneys in one pile, and
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: then pay those bills together and then gave each other
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: an allowance and then save whatever you was gonna say
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: it would you? It would cut down a lot of arguments. Yes,
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: it would financial art this for my friend, my friend, Yeah,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: I know somebody, my friend he fouled out that his
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: wife had a credit card that he didn't know nothing about.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: And when he found out, he was furious. What would
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: you advice would you give my friend? Well, let me
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: ask you something. The card that was gotten without your
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: friend's knowledge. Did it throw the family into something? No?
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Or did it just throw him in and threw him
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: into a lot because why because he didn't know it?
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: She makes decisions right, Yes, But isn't that financially cheated
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: like we're talking about earlier. Ain't that fact. I don't
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: know if it's cheating. H When did you make the
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: rule that she got to come to you for every
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: single dollar? No? No, no, my friend, no plea, don't
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: do that, my friend. Now I'm not saying he your friend.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: He my friend that he decided that he would make
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: the rule, right, He don't. He don't, he don't. He's
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: not making no rules about no money like that. But
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: what it is is he found out about without her
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: telling him, you know, and then when I mean, then
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: when he found out, you know, it was it was
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: just it was it was bad really for a week.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: And so when he found out how did he found out?
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: He found out because he told me he found out
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: when he was on the phone checking on his credit card.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: The man on the phone told him, well, we got
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: an issue with this other card right now. And then
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: he said, what other damn card? And then that's when
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: he found out that there was another card that existed.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: And when when when he found that out was it's
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: it's confused. It's just immense Steve and the friends in
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: air quotes right, all quotes, The all bills have been paid.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: He paid the bill. Yeah, I mean my friend paid
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: all how much? How much did your friend when girl
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: run up only by ten M? What she buy? That's
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: what the hell my friend? Excuse me? I want to know? Yeah, yeah, right,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: he doesn't see anything around. Oh, you ain't seen nothing
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: new in the house. He ain't seen nothing new. He
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: is an air quote because we're masters at that, all
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: that going to DC and working, all that, going to
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Colombia and telling joke at Yeah. Well, well, Steve, what
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: if for Tommy's friend? Well, I like when people spending
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: money before they get it before what I like when
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: people spending money before they get it? That's always excited.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: I used to do that that keep your ass on
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: it for show. Those days are over. Yea, So tell
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: me you have anything you're gonna take back to your friend.
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: What are you gonna tell him based on what your uncle?
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: The advice your uncle is giving you. Well, he didn't
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: really get no advice. He didn't say don't say nothing
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: about it. He would just ask me how much this
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: mount was? He? But he really say what the friend
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: should say to his wife? Well, I mean it's really
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: too late. Don't you think you could say something? But
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: how you think? How are you gonna keep it from
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: turning into an argument. Don't she take the stuff back?
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: I'm not going what woman do that? And every man
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: won't help if I take it back. Your best to
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: believe I'm getting something. It don't fit if I go back,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: that's what. Yeah, yeah, we're not returning. For Steve Harvey contests,
