- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody, y'all listen to the bars, come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me not wanting on it. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show, Man on Man on man, grateful for it
- 2:14Speaker 1: comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I didn't really
- 2:18Speaker 1: know I was gonna have to be this responsible, you know? Um,
- 2:21Speaker 1: can I share something with y'all? I started out to
- 2:25Speaker 1: Finally I had gotten on track and was able to
- 2:28Speaker 1: see a way to even uh pursue my dream. It
- 2:33Speaker 1: has been a long, a long trip that I've been on,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and I've gone through so many phases of it. It
- 2:40Speaker 1: is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams. What
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm saying is this, let me, let me put it together,
- 2:48Speaker 1: because I got so much running through my head right now.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know it's it's one thing to accomplish your dreams,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but there's joy in the process of achieving it. See,
- 3:00Speaker 1: some people are so caught up in the goal, the
- 3:04Speaker 1: final goal, that they find no joy, no enjoyment in
- 3:10Speaker 1: the process. If you have found what it is you
- 3:16Speaker 1: want to do and you strike out on that journey,
- 3:20Speaker 1: please understand you are far more blessed than the average person.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Do you understand that to know what it is you
- 3:29Speaker 1: really want to do, to find your work in life,
- 3:34Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:38Speaker 1: go in, is such a blessing. The average person, if
- 3:42Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:46Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're looking at you think God are going on because
- 3:51Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
- 3:55Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:57Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
- 4:00Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:05Speaker 1: has not discovered what they wanna do, and have no
- 4:09Speaker 1: idea how to get there. If you are on the
- 4:12Speaker 1: other side of that, if you understand your purpose, if
- 4:16Speaker 1: you have an idea of what you wanna be, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: you are on your way there, you are truly blessed.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And in that blessing, you must recognize it as a blessed.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are you are
- 4:34Speaker 1: on the right side, and that there should be a
- 4:37Speaker 1: sense of accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you
- 4:41Speaker 1: that you are on track to accomplish your goal. See
- 4:45Speaker 1: what used to happen was sometimes I used to keep
- 4:47Speaker 1: my nose so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even
- 4:52Speaker 1: look up and realize. Man, hey, man, I know you're
- 4:56Speaker 1: trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man, can't
- 4:59Speaker 1: you see what you've done so far? Can't you find
- 5:02Speaker 1: just some joy in the process. See, a lot of
- 5:05Speaker 1: us lose the joy of the blessings God has given
- 5:09Speaker 1: us because we're looking at the end too. I ain't
- 5:11Speaker 1: there yet, You're on your way. I'm gonna give you
- 5:15Speaker 1: an example. I had a friend who told me that
- 5:18Speaker 1: they wanted to be a million now, and they asked
- 5:21Speaker 1: me some questions and I told him, so they started
- 5:25Speaker 1: the process, and I am telling you, this dude works
- 5:30Speaker 1: extremely hard. So about a year later we were talking.
- 5:36Speaker 1: He had found this business, he had uh set his goal,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and he was working towards it. Then about two years
- 5:46Speaker 1: later I ran up into him again. We were talking
- 5:48Speaker 1: about it and everything. It's a man really really appreciate advice.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is this is this is
- 5:55Speaker 1: all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made that
- 5:58Speaker 1: million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 6:01Speaker 1: just just keep at it. It's coming. He's a man.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Keep at it. Man, you know how long I've been
- 6:06Speaker 1: doing this? And I got quiet because, yeah, I know
- 6:08Speaker 1: exactly how long you've been been two years now. And
- 6:12Speaker 1: I didn't say that to him, but I said to myself, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 1: two years. He said, Man, I've been grinding so long. Man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's just it ain't having it from me. I said,
- 6:20Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, hold hold on, hold on. I said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: about how much you're making right now a year? Man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: about two hundred fifty thousands. I quit breathing. I said, well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: my man, two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two years later, you're making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I said, Man, do you understand how blessed you are.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I said, man, your family was about to get put
- 6:50Speaker 1: out two years ago. You don't borrough the house? Yeah? Man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: but this ain't the house. I really won't. Oh partner,
- 6:58Speaker 1: whoa I got that? I got that house? You really
- 7:02Speaker 1: want make mike car five eight million? I don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house, you're making a payment,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you're driving. You ain't out nor more. I said, hold on, mane,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you gotta stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you're coming across as real
- 7:16Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. So I know God, who has done
- 7:19Speaker 1: all this for you got to be looking at you
- 7:21Speaker 1: with his own folded. But then he God, so he
- 7:24Speaker 1: probably handling it all together different. I was just speculating
- 7:27Speaker 1: with it. And so he said, man, why are you
- 7:28Speaker 1: tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't nobody
- 7:31Speaker 1: want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa? Man?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:37Speaker 1: and asked you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:39Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started
- 7:43Speaker 1: on that you are on your way, and you are
- 7:45Speaker 1: in the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you
- 7:48Speaker 1: not feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Quit tripping on the fact that you ain't made a
- 7:55Speaker 1: million yet. You on your way. You don't went from
- 7:57Speaker 1: your He thought, this dude was making fifteen now was
- 8:00Speaker 1: a year? You making quarter of a million dollars in
- 8:02Speaker 1: two years? May come on, man, can't you see can't
- 8:05Speaker 1: you see? So? He said? Eventually a man, I kind
- 8:09Speaker 1: of see what you're saying. But that ain't about nothing
- 8:11Speaker 1: to me because I ran up into him a year
- 8:14Speaker 1: and a half later. How you doing, man, man, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: showed wish I had appreciated my life when I had
- 8:22Speaker 1: it like that. I said, what you mean, had it
- 8:23Speaker 1: like that and just fell on some hard times? Man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm right back why I was. And then we talked.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I said, hey, man, don't worry about it. I said.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Once you know how to accomplish something, I said, you
- 8:34Speaker 1: just reapply the same principles and start on over again. Man,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you know how hard it is to be the start over? Okay,
- 8:41Speaker 1: my man, Hold up, partner, you've been do yourself like
- 8:43Speaker 1: this again. First, she wasn't grateful for what you had.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Now you're looking at the fact that you might have
- 8:49Speaker 1: to start over, and you know how hard it is
- 8:51Speaker 1: to start over. But you have the knowledge, the principles,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and you got a little bit of money to go
- 8:55Speaker 1: on and get it going again. I said, Man, don't
- 8:58Speaker 1: keep doing this to yourself. I said, Man, you ain't
- 9:00Speaker 1: grateful no matter what God do for you. So what
- 9:03Speaker 1: you need to do, partner, stop reassess yourself the fact
- 9:08Speaker 1: that you were not grateful in the first place. Could
- 9:11Speaker 1: that be the reason why? You know? Man? Maybe I'm
- 9:14Speaker 1: not calling it cause I ain't God. I do not
- 9:16Speaker 1: know how he thinks, nor do I claim to know.
- 9:18Speaker 1: But let's just imagine for a moment. Let's just say,
- 9:23Speaker 1: maybe for a moment, maybe God said, Okay, you ain't
- 9:28Speaker 1: happy with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way? You
- 9:32Speaker 1: obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it into
- 9:34Speaker 1: your life. You want to handle it your way, Go
- 9:36Speaker 1: ahead and handle it because He will let you have
- 9:38Speaker 1: it your way. Can I tell you that he will
- 9:41Speaker 1: let you do it exactly the way you want to
- 9:43Speaker 1: it because He gives us all the power of choice.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 9:48Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:50Speaker 1: showing you, you think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:54Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:56Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and now he right back where he was. So what
- 10:02Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is. Because like um life,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album. Still,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I still believe it could have been worse. And now
- 10:16Speaker 1: that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 10:20Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 10:23Speaker 1: have figured out what you wanna do, you know how
- 10:25Speaker 1: you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose. You're
- 10:28Speaker 1: accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do. So
- 10:31Speaker 1: be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't throw
- 10:35Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff. It's gonna be all right. Success
- 10:38Speaker 1: takes a measure of time. It is not easy. If
- 10:42Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. All right, y'all.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry this morning if I sounded a little all
- 10:50Speaker 1: over the place in a little jumble, but that's how
- 10:52Speaker 1: it came to me. So you know, uh, y'all keep
- 10:55Speaker 1: your head up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people
- 11:02Speaker 1: from all around the world. Listen to me. You are
- 11:06Speaker 1: listening to the Bad and Mortar Show. What kind of
- 11:08Speaker 1: team is the championship? You better know it. Man. This

- 16:58Speaker 1: don't say who it is, but on this here job,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I do. And we have several people who think they're
- 17:09Speaker 1: smarter than the boss on this job. First of all,
- 17:13Speaker 1: Mississippi Monitor think her ass is smarter than everybody in
- 17:18Speaker 1: here because she got the two damn degreed. That's for
- 17:23Speaker 1: start you calling names. I'm calling names because they don't
- 17:27Speaker 1: do that on your job. But I'm blasted. She thinks
- 17:32Speaker 1: she's smarter than everybody down here. Now, just like your job,
- 17:39Speaker 1: we got someone who thinks they do all the works
- 17:43Speaker 1: and everybody else just sitting on there. But don't nobody
- 17:47Speaker 1: work like me. I'm all worked in here, all putting
- 17:54Speaker 1: pressure on me. That's called that's all prayer. And every

- 18:10Speaker 1: just get your ass ready, man, Yeah, it's see you.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Y'all want me to do the bit here go. Just
- 18:18Speaker 1: like on your job, we got somebody here makes they
- 18:23Speaker 1: too good to be here. I'm so good I should
- 18:26Speaker 1: be somewhere. I don't know how ideal with y'all. Right,
- 18:31Speaker 1: we all know who that is. Yeah, that's yeah, that's her.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Let's just go keep on getting mad. That's like on
- 18:49Speaker 1: your job. We got somebody here just happy. Isn't he
- 18:53Speaker 1: get what happened? They just happened. Now, I'm not gonna
- 18:57Speaker 1: say who it is, can't damn it is? You Junior're
- 19:02Speaker 1: just happy to be here. He don't give a damn
- 19:06Speaker 1: what you wanna do. I'm your man. Let's go on. Yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 1: like somebody on your job, we got somebody work here
- 19:22Speaker 1: that just by talking to you think they come from rong, y'all.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You know it's of entitledment. They way mold than they
- 19:35Speaker 1: really are. Y'all got somebody like that on your job
- 19:40Speaker 1: when we got his ass here to come. His name
- 19:44Speaker 1: is Thomas or Matthew, Tommy or Thomas My heres, which
- 19:51Speaker 1: damn wrong he come in here? Like on your job, man,
- 19:58Speaker 1: we got somethbody out of year that hate everything, just hate, hate,
- 20:06Speaker 1: hate hate. I ain't gonna say the only thing he
- 20:09Speaker 1: liked it white women. Need I say more shows? Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 1: just like your job. They all talk about the boss
- 20:30Speaker 1: behind I'm not gonna say who it is. The biggest
- 20:37Speaker 1: ones that talk about me behind my back is the
- 20:41Speaker 1: three musket Team. That's shellyte Tommy that called or they're
- 20:49Speaker 1: gonna get it. Oh, they'll be on trip. Sit next
- 20:53Speaker 1: to show. Right, there's about coach time to get the
- 20:57Speaker 1: middle seat. I don't even ask for extra legal Tommy
- 21:02Speaker 1: in the middle talk about my Tommy buying him food,
- 21:11Speaker 1: all the food and drink on Tommy. Yeah, that's how

- 23:05Speaker 1: sorry I didn't ask you earlier. Man, who am I
- 23:07Speaker 1: actually speaking with? This is his girlfriend? Uh and your
- 23:10Speaker 1: name is Jan? Okay, so uh, Jan? You don't you
- 23:15Speaker 1: said you don't know, you know, you don't have an
- 23:16Speaker 1: idea when he'll be back. No, you it's trying to
- 23:19Speaker 1: make me kind of get a little concerned though, No, no, no, wow, Okay,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. This is the number that he
- 23:26Speaker 1: actually loved us to give him a call on his results,
- 23:29Speaker 1: and we're not getting an answer. I don't have another
- 23:32Speaker 1: number on hand. Do you have any specific time I
- 23:34Speaker 1: can actually call back and maybe I'll get him again.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm you're making my my stomach is getting nervous right now?
- 23:41Speaker 1: What is what is the problem? Well, actually you know
- 23:44Speaker 1: what are his man is? Mr Rogers came in for
- 23:48Speaker 1: to take a few tests, and he took some tests
- 23:49Speaker 1: and we actually have the results in and we'd actually
- 23:52Speaker 1: really like for him to come back. Anything about I'm
- 23:54Speaker 1: sorry I didn't mean to intromuct you, but I don't
- 23:56Speaker 1: know anything about any tests. He hasn't told me anything
- 23:58Speaker 1: about going to a clinic anything like that. I see,
- 24:01Speaker 1: So what kind of test are you talking about? Well,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not really not at liberty to give
- 24:07Speaker 1: you any kind of information unless you're actually on the paperwork.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So you know, it's not even something that I can
- 24:11Speaker 1: discuss unless the patient has signed off that you are
- 24:14Speaker 1: the next of kin or the person that can we
- 24:16Speaker 1: can actually give the information to you. Do I do?
- 24:21Speaker 1: And I'm pretty certain, I mean the way we operate
- 24:24Speaker 1: in this house, So I'm pretty certain that that I'm
- 24:27Speaker 1: on the paperwork. So would you be um when we
- 24:29Speaker 1: pull up Roger stuff on computer here and I'll see
- 24:32Speaker 1: what I give me one second please, Okay, okay, let's
- 24:37Speaker 1: see now, let me scroll down for next to kid. Okay,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I got a Janice. That is me. I mean, everybody
- 24:44Speaker 1: called me jam, but that's me Jane. Wow. Okay, tell
- 24:48Speaker 1: me your name again. I'm sorry, what's your name again? Mark? Mark?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm the clerk here at Dr Robert office.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I guess I am at liberty to tell you what's
- 24:56Speaker 1: going on. Mr Roger came in and took UM some
- 25:00Speaker 1: STD tests st D yes, and I guess at this
- 25:04Speaker 1: point I should just maybe both of you guys would
- 25:07Speaker 1: come in and wait a minute, everybody, and everybody, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 25:13Speaker 1: I need you to finish what you were just saying. Well,
- 25:15Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. Man. What has happened is he's
- 25:17Speaker 1: been diagnosed with UM as well as you gotta be
- 25:23Speaker 1: kidding me. You have got to be kidding me. I'm
- 25:27Speaker 1: not hearing this, not you do you understand what that means?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Do you understand that he lives in my household? Do
- 25:35Speaker 1: you understand that that means that he has been dipping
- 25:37Speaker 1: somewhere else? Because I have been not doing anything that
- 25:41Speaker 1: would even come close to bringing something to him like that.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So it's how parent that this man has been outside
- 25:47Speaker 1: of my household and doing when he has no business
- 25:50Speaker 1: doing and bring it back in. I'm not I'm not
- 25:52Speaker 1: at liberty to make any accusations like that. I cannot
- 25:55Speaker 1: say anything like that. All I can say is I'd
- 25:57Speaker 1: like for both of you, you know, would be good
- 25:59Speaker 1: for both of you guys to come and then because
- 26:00Speaker 1: then we'll tell you this is something treatable, it is curable. Um,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I don't care about it being treatable or curable. What
- 26:08Speaker 1: I care about is the fact that he apparently has
- 26:11Speaker 1: been somewhere with some trick and brought something back home
- 26:14Speaker 1: to my household. That's what I care about. I do
- 26:18Speaker 1: understand that Ms. Janis. I do, but you have to
- 26:20Speaker 1: understand my position of what I'm trying to do. I'm
- 26:22Speaker 1: just trying to reach it out and and well, listen,
- 26:24Speaker 1: you happen to call my household, you just happen to
- 26:27Speaker 1: have to be on the end, on the other side
- 26:29Speaker 1: of it. I'm sorry, you're kidding most of it, But
- 26:31Speaker 1: I tell you what what you need to do is
- 26:33Speaker 1: you need to make him an appointment and I will
- 26:35Speaker 1: meet him there. He will be wait wait, wait, wait
- 26:38Speaker 1: when he wait wait a minute, I'm sorry. You need
- 26:41Speaker 1: to make him an appointment to come out to take
- 26:43Speaker 1: a look at these results you're talking about, and guests
- 26:45Speaker 1: who will show up at the door before he gets there.
- 26:49Speaker 1: That's next. Kid. Wouldn't better you just messing to tell
- 26:53Speaker 1: him what's going on. Since you know this is the
- 26:56Speaker 1: plan you need to give him. You need to give
- 26:59Speaker 1: him a call. Gonna give you cell phone number. Yes, Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I got it. Okay, you called him and set a
- 27:08Speaker 1: twelve new an appointment. Trust me when I tell you,
- 27:10Speaker 1: when he walked through that door and seize my face,
- 27:12Speaker 1: he will know. Okay, Okay, Ms Michele. I'm not trying
- 27:15Speaker 1: to create to let Mr Roger know that we need
- 27:22Speaker 1: him to come actually into the building. Could give to
- 27:25Speaker 1: about the call. All I know is you make that appointment.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I would get there before he gets there and his
- 27:31Speaker 1: own I'm telling you that's how it's gonna roll. Do
- 27:35Speaker 1: you understand me, Mrs ms I can't allow any chaos
- 27:39Speaker 1: to be going on in the building. I cannot allow that.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Let me because you create it. Let me tell you
- 27:44Speaker 1: something I don't care. I could care less about what
- 27:47Speaker 1: you feel about it and what you can and can't do.
- 27:50Speaker 1: All I'm telling you is you called my call. I'm
- 27:55Speaker 1: looking for Mr Rogers. You called his suit to be white,
- 28:00Speaker 1: correction correction sud to not be white. I got one
- 28:05Speaker 1: more thing I do need to tell you, though you
- 28:07Speaker 1: know what I can't deal with another thing. I swear
- 28:09Speaker 1: to God don't tell me anything out, but I do
- 28:11Speaker 1: have a po make your appointment. That's all I care about. You,
- 28:16Speaker 1: make your appointment, to make your point. But I need
- 28:17Speaker 1: you to ask for somebody when you come to the clinic.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I need you to ask for one person and then
- 28:21Speaker 1: they will take care of you. Who do I need
- 28:24Speaker 1: to ask for us? Okay, you need to ask for
- 28:26Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show, because that's
- 28:29Speaker 1: who I am. You just got branked by your husband, Roger.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You know what my tell me? Tell me Tommy. I
- 28:42Speaker 1: listened to you everyone I know. Oh my goodness, I
- 28:46Speaker 1: am so embarrassed. And wait till I see right all right?
- 28:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, I am, I am all. I'm done.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I'm mane. I can't believe you. I got I got
- 29:00Speaker 1: one more thing. I gotta ask. What is the baddest that,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I mean, the baddest radio show in the land, the
- 29:06Speaker 1: one I wake up to every morning to Steve Carley
- 29:09Speaker 1: Morning Show. What y'all Thinkbody give me some feedback? Ignorant?
- 29:18Speaker 1: But I want that though. That's what you all? Right,
- 29:24Speaker 1: stupid and ignorant all at the same time. It's going
- 29:27Speaker 1: down to night Memphis, Tennessee. Mama's Boy is in the building.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Make sure you get your tickets tonight. We got to
- 29:34Speaker 1: show at eight o'clock. And we've got two shows tomorrow night,
- 29:37Speaker 1: three o'clock and eight o'clock Memphis, Tennessee. Come see your boy,
- 29:42Speaker 1: um and and Jenny Kill and Robbing. Yeah, man, how
- 29:53Speaker 1: Robin's doing great? You asked everyone? Don't you get Robbing
- 29:56Speaker 1: to call him? That would make his day? That really
- 29:59Speaker 1: would What are y'all talking about? What? Rob You think
- 30:14Speaker 1: you're gonna get Robin to call you? Right? Got it
- 30:19Speaker 1: like that with Robin? You ain't heard nothing about it
- 30:24Speaker 1: him and Robine. It ain't calm. Yeah, no, rote Miss
- 30:39Speaker 1: Anna's coming up next to today's National News. You're listening
- 30:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. President Trump denies offending
- 30:49Speaker 1: fallen soldiers families. I'm sure you guys have heard about.
- 30:52Speaker 1: This has been all over the news. The White House
- 30:54Speaker 1: says President Trump was completely respectful and a phone call
- 30:58Speaker 1: to one of the grieving military widows. According to The
- 31:01Speaker 1: Washington Post, one of the falling soldiers, Sergeant La David
- 31:05Speaker 1: Johnson's mother said yes, President Trump did disrespect her son
- 31:09Speaker 1: during that call. Kawanda Jones. Johnson went on to say
- 31:12Speaker 1: that President Trump sarcastically told her son's widow that he
- 31:16Speaker 1: must have known what he signed up for, not to
- 31:19Speaker 1: mention that the President never even referred to her son
- 31:21Speaker 1: by name, and that is something that reportedly stuck out
- 31:25Speaker 1: to his widow, Mysha. She was crying the whole time,
- 31:28Speaker 1: Joe Jones Johnson recounts, uh, and when she hung up
- 31:31Speaker 1: the phone, she looked at me and said, he didn't
- 31:34Speaker 1: even remember his name. That's the hurting part. Of course,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Trump has denied it, and he said he has proof,
- 31:40Speaker 1: and we on this show just want to say, uh
- 31:44Speaker 1: to all of the fallen soldiers, offer our condolences to
- 31:48Speaker 1: all of the gold Star families for your love's loved
- 31:51Speaker 1: one service, for their bravery and for their courage. Thank
- 31:54Speaker 1: you for your service. Thank you, and definitely our sympathies
- 31:57Speaker 1: and condolences to the families and the children. I mean,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and we still don't know what happened over there and
- 32:06Speaker 1: share and the president, you know, he's under scrutiny because
- 32:10Speaker 1: he started this politically, the death of these fallen soldiers.
- 32:14Speaker 1: He started it by talking about President Obama and his
- 32:19Speaker 1: predecessors and now he's Obama's name, Yes, yeah, yeah, he
- 32:27Speaker 1: just hates Obama. He has a misunderstanding about a principle
- 32:31Speaker 1: of success. He thinks that by making him appear less,
- 32:35Speaker 1: it appears to make him to be more, and that
- 32:39Speaker 1: never works out for you in the long run. But
- 32:41Speaker 1: in the Art of a Deal, See when you read
- 32:44Speaker 1: his book, The Art of a Deal, that's one of
- 32:45Speaker 1: the tactics that they use. You have to in some
- 32:49Speaker 1: way show your superiority to competitive companies and things like that. Well,
- 32:56Speaker 1: he's taken that into the presidency, and so he that's
- 33:01Speaker 1: why he still talks about crooked Hillary, what Hillary did,
- 33:05Speaker 1: the mistakes she made, what Obama did, what the mistakes
- 33:08Speaker 1: he made, Because it's to say, even when he makes
- 33:11Speaker 1: a mistake, you should be okay with this because look
- 33:14Speaker 1: what they did, which no one gives a damn about
- 33:17Speaker 1: that man, because you're you're the president now and it's
- 33:20Speaker 1: time for you to build your own legacy, and destroying
- 33:23Speaker 1: other people's legacies while you're not building a legacy is nothing. See,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you want to destroy repealing replace Obamacare, but you want
- 33:32Speaker 1: to do it by starting to killing subsidies to low
- 33:36Speaker 1: income people will help people? Are you kidding me? So
- 33:39Speaker 1: you start there's not a leader, he's just well he's
- 33:44Speaker 1: not he's not the great leader that we're used to
- 33:47Speaker 1: having and want to have because he's never been a
- 33:49Speaker 1: great servant. People who have never served don't make good leaders. Sorry,
- 33:57Speaker 1: has anybody ever this is didn't he just quit? A resigned.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I predict that he will not finish this term. I
- 34:07Speaker 1: think he think he's going he's gonna I don't think
- 34:09Speaker 1: he's a no. No, I don't he's gonna be made
- 34:12Speaker 1: to quit. One thing. One thing he is we know
- 34:15Speaker 1: is a fighter. He is a scrapper. We do know that.
- 34:18Speaker 1: That's why I don't think he's gonna quit. But he's
- 34:21Speaker 1: not fighting. He's picking on people. That's a different bullying. Yeah,
- 34:27Speaker 1: Twitter through Twitter. Yeah, every morning that is getting longer
- 34:39Speaker 1: and longer, getting alright, Steve, we gotta move it on
- 34:47Speaker 1: over Tennesseeanne, Now, ladies and gentlemen, she's here. Without further dude,
- 34:51Speaker 1: the lovely and talent to our very own news anchor,
- 34:54Speaker 1: ms An trips See. Good morning, everybody. This is a
- 34:58Speaker 1: trip as the news well. White House Chief of Staff
- 35:00Speaker 1: John Kelly's defending President Trump and how he handled that
- 35:04Speaker 1: condolence call to the widow of an army sergeant. Kelly
- 35:07Speaker 1: is a retired Marine general whose own son was killed
- 35:09Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. He says he was stunned and broken hearted
- 35:12Speaker 1: by Florida congres Women Frederica Wilson's criticism of the words
- 35:16Speaker 1: of Trump's used. He says, he feels all the talk
- 35:18Speaker 1: about it though should end. Let's not let this maybe
- 35:21Speaker 1: last thing that tells sacred in our society, a young man,
- 35:25Speaker 1: young woman going out and giving his or her life
- 35:27Speaker 1: for our country. Let's let's try to somehow keep that sacred.
- 35:31Speaker 1: The President has also been criticized over his administration's handling
- 35:34Speaker 1: of the situation in Puerto Rico. However, Mr Trump met
- 35:37Speaker 1: with Puerto rican and the governor Robertao sat Joe at
- 35:41Speaker 1: the White House yesterday and has expected He graded his
- 35:44Speaker 1: own performance by saying, basically, it couldn't have been any better.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I'd say it was probably the most difficult when you
- 35:52Speaker 1: talk about relief, when you talk about search, when you
- 35:55Speaker 1: talk about all of the different levels. However, things don't
- 35:58Speaker 1: look so perfect as a prefect ten on the island.
- 36:01Speaker 1: For instance, it's been four weeks since Hurricane A restruct
- 36:04Speaker 1: only of Puerto Rico's residence, how electricity almost have no
- 36:08Speaker 1: access to drinkable water, and the death toll is now
- 36:11Speaker 1: forty eight. By the way, it looks like President Trump
- 36:13Speaker 1: won't leave the issue of the NFL players taken a
- 36:16Speaker 1: knee alone. Now he and Vice President Pence or actually
- 36:19Speaker 1: circulating a petition on the Internet that demands at all
- 36:22Speaker 1: players and fans stand for the national anthem. According to
- 36:25Speaker 1: the GOP website, the petition asked for signatures, names, emails,
- 36:29Speaker 1: and zip codes. There was tied security on the campus
- 36:32Speaker 1: of Florida State University yesterday because of the speaking engagement
- 36:35Speaker 1: there of a white supremacist named Richard Spencer, and there
- 36:38Speaker 1: was no major violence, even though his supporters were outnumbered
- 36:41Speaker 1: ten to one by his protesters saying Spencer go home.
- 36:55Speaker 1: That's how he was talking to the crowd. Hundreds of
- 36:57Speaker 1: other anti racists demonstrate his weight outside the whole where
- 37:00Speaker 1: there are a few minor skirmishers. The winds have died
- 37:02Speaker 1: down a bit in California fire fire to say that's
- 37:05Speaker 1: helped them make progress in bringing those wildfires under control.
- 37:08Speaker 1: The blazes have been burning for over a week. At
- 37:11Speaker 1: least forty one desks are reported so far, one death
- 37:14Speaker 1: of a worker driver delivering water when his truck overturned,
- 37:18Speaker 1: and today finally is National Suspender's Day and national just
- 37:22Speaker 1: say no day. No no no, no, no, no, no
- 37:25Speaker 1: no no, Okay, I get it, I get it, I
- 37:28Speaker 1: get it. I get it. EUGENEA butterfly. Twenty minutes after
- 37:32Speaker 1: the hours. Stay tuned to this de Harvey Morning Show.

- 43:00Speaker 1: Legend song. I need you to turn it down, Ralph.
- 43:04Speaker 1: That's all I ask. Keep it away down till the
- 43:07Speaker 1: song is over. We're not gonna fight about it. I
- 43:11Speaker 1: want you to turn it down. You know that I
- 43:14Speaker 1: can't stand the Legend song. I need you to turn
- 43:18Speaker 1: it down, Ralph. That's all I asked. Keep it away
- 43:22Speaker 1: down till the song's over. We're not gonna fight about it.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I want you to turn it down. Who turn it down.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I can't take no more. Damn man, turn it down.
- 43:45Speaker 1: That's it, let it go. I'm playing John Legend now.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I love you, John Man down. I'm not turning it down. Jay.
- 44:02Speaker 1: It was it was a fire jam. But I mean,

- 44:08Speaker 1: skiing won't jump on you, That's that's your problem. But
- 44:14Speaker 1: I love how Jay is like really into it though
- 44:17Speaker 1: he's a music a singer. Yeah, but I'm sure with
- 44:20Speaker 1: the millions and millions John is making He really don't
- 44:23Speaker 1: give a day so that every night your damn club
- 44:31Speaker 1: just opened back. But he just did. Just when you
- 44:39Speaker 1: start defending John Legend, were boys, didn't he? You just
- 44:46Speaker 1: open your plug? Yeah, tell you one day when you
- 44:50Speaker 1: do bring yours in it, it's gonna be cold as

- 45:47Speaker 1: right about four minutes after the hour, get ready for
- 45:50Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. But right now it's the nephews turn
- 45:55Speaker 1: with the prank phone call what you got nef? Surely
- 45:57Speaker 1: this right here is the ring? Ring? Ring? Yeah, you
- 46:01Speaker 1: know you know that an engagement ring, the ring, the wedding.

- 46:07Speaker 1: about the ring, the ring. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to
- 46:13Speaker 1: reach a den Yes, this is she, Hi Denise. My
- 46:17Speaker 1: name is Gavin. I'm I'm actually the head jeweler here Diamonds.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Know how you doing? I'm good. You brought your ring in?
- 46:23Speaker 1: What was it last week? I actually wasn't here, but
- 46:26Speaker 1: you gave it to one of my salespersons and you
- 46:29Speaker 1: wanted to get it resized as well as getting a praise. Correct, yes, yes, yes,
- 46:34Speaker 1: and you don't have to tell him my own Okay, wow, okay, listen,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I actually do the resize the ring. And first of all,
- 46:43Speaker 1: let me be the first to say, um, congratulations, when
- 46:47Speaker 1: when is your wedding? Thank you, I'm getting married and stuff.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Come there, Well, congratulations to listen, I don't know how
- 46:53Speaker 1: to tell you this now. As far as your praiserless concern,
- 46:56Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 47:01Speaker 1: this ring is probably worth maybety do excuse me. I've
- 47:07Speaker 1: been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 47:09Speaker 1: But you know when I'm confused on what you just said.
- 47:12Speaker 1: And I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
- 47:13Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for for
- 47:15Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 47:18Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 47:22Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for this is a Cubic Zaconian
- 47:27Speaker 1: stone and the gold is not real at all. It's
- 47:30Speaker 1: like wait, wait, wait, wait wait, you lost me. You
- 47:33Speaker 1: lost me as much money as my hand make and
- 47:35Speaker 1: as much money as my father is putting down on
- 47:38Speaker 1: his wind or half put down. And you're understand everything
- 47:42Speaker 1: you're saying. But Denise, honestly, what I need do is
- 47:45Speaker 1: hold on. Wait wait. I need you to hold on
- 47:48Speaker 1: because we need to convict us. Wait. Wait man. First
- 47:52Speaker 1: of all, I can't wait wait wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 47:55Speaker 1: hold hold on because we don't want to say that
- 48:00Speaker 1: you wait wait, wait what are you trying to what
- 48:02Speaker 1: you're trying to do, sir? I need I need you
- 48:05Speaker 1: to repeat what you just said to me. Okay, I
- 48:08Speaker 1: need you personal stuff, man, Oh you it it's personal now,
- 48:13Speaker 1: So I need you to hold on. Okay, oh she
- 48:17Speaker 1: called her man. Okay, thank thank hello. You listen to
- 48:24Speaker 1: this jewel that's on the front. I want you to
- 48:25Speaker 1: hit it. And he just told me, what's what's the problem?
- 48:28Speaker 1: What you mean, what's the problem. He gonna tell you
- 48:30Speaker 1: what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on. Hello, Yeah,
- 48:34Speaker 1: who's this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds.
- 48:37Speaker 1: And actually your wife, I mean where your fiance rather,
- 48:40Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be re sized,
- 48:44Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 48:47Speaker 1: for her and actually the ring is estimated to be only,
- 48:51Speaker 1: in the words of around fifty dollars fifty that's what
- 48:56Speaker 1: the man said, sir. Obviously there's some sort of mistakes, sir.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Now what you got to say about that fifty dollars?
- 49:05Speaker 1: That's that's got to be some kind of mistakes. What
- 49:07Speaker 1: did you say your name was, sir? My name is Gavin.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I work here I'm the head jeweler here. I've been
- 49:12Speaker 1: here for twenty years, and there's there's no way that
- 49:16Speaker 1: that ring is worth fifty dollars. I know what I
- 49:18Speaker 1: paid for it. So obviously there's some sort of mistakes.
- 49:21Speaker 1: There's out of mistake. I've been dealing with jury. I've
- 49:24Speaker 1: seen it. I I can't pretty much look at a ring,
- 49:26Speaker 1: but I actually went into detail on this one, as
- 49:29Speaker 1: I do all of them, and so I promise you
- 49:31Speaker 1: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars for
- 49:35Speaker 1: his workers. Absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How is that impossible?
- 49:40Speaker 1: He's the jeweler. You heard him say, he's been doing
- 49:41Speaker 1: it for twenty That impossible. I don't all the money
- 49:45Speaker 1: that my dad putting down on this wedding, and you're
- 49:48Speaker 1: gonna pay fifty You bought a cheap ring, sir, No, no, no,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I did not buy a tea. This is this is
- 49:55Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it?
- 49:57Speaker 1: You show that you show got right? So what you
- 50:00Speaker 1: got to say for yourself? Don't this? You kn't I
- 50:04Speaker 1: believe that that's right. This is this is obviously some
- 50:06Speaker 1: kind of mispah. It is a mistake, a mistake and
- 50:09Speaker 1: thinking I'm gonna get married to the man of my dream.
- 50:12Speaker 1: I do have the engagement ring that was purchased and
- 50:14Speaker 1: bought for your wife. I don't think you I don't
- 50:17Speaker 1: think you do. I don't think you have my ring,
- 50:18Speaker 1: because if you have my ring, you wouldn't be telling
- 50:20Speaker 1: me this is words fifty. I have the ring that
- 50:23Speaker 1: your wife, your fiance brought his wife. Yet hold on,
- 50:27Speaker 1: hold on, the man trying to explain, I'm trying to
- 50:29Speaker 1: get to the bott. Thank you, so you have I
- 50:33Speaker 1: don't think you have the right ring. I have the
- 50:35Speaker 1: right ring. Or what I'm letting you know, sir, is
- 50:37Speaker 1: that this is something you buy on an infomercial in
- 50:39Speaker 1: the two ocock of the morning on the home Dude,
- 50:42Speaker 1: you know I ain't bottled damn ring on infomercial. I
- 50:46Speaker 1: bought the ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on
- 50:53Speaker 1: your and where you're mistakers out here. You bought a
- 50:56Speaker 1: piece of junk. He's been doing it all these years.
- 50:59Speaker 1: How hell he's gonna make you mistake? Where you come
- 51:01Speaker 1: off telling me I bought a piece of jump I
- 51:03Speaker 1: know what I bought. If there's any mistakes that's been made,
- 51:06Speaker 1: it's on your end world where it's not on my end. Yeah.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Hold don't don't ray. You want things that my dad
- 51:14Speaker 1: is paying too much money for this wedding, but you
- 51:16Speaker 1: don't goa pay fifty dollars. You wait till I tell
- 51:20Speaker 1: him this, chill. Hold on. First of all, I don't
- 51:23Speaker 1: appreciate I want to tell you this. This is a
- 51:25Speaker 1: typical case of you're trying to put it off on
- 51:27Speaker 1: us because you bought the piece of stuff for fifty bucks,
- 51:30Speaker 1: money that you don't and I get fifty words of
- 51:33Speaker 1: a ring, then he's hold on, let me talk to
- 51:34Speaker 1: this where you gonna talk because I never heard of it.
- 51:40Speaker 1: So your wife knows exactly where she's the one that
- 51:43Speaker 1: brought the ring. And I'll tell you what. I'm gonna
- 51:45Speaker 1: come down there to see the ring that you're talking about.
- 51:48Speaker 1: If it's not the ring that I gave my girl,
- 51:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out of your
- 51:52Speaker 1: because that's so. Now you want to jump on me
- 51:56Speaker 1: because you bought your wife a piece. Come on and
- 51:59Speaker 1: you want to put it on mate? You don't tell
- 52:01Speaker 1: me what the I'm known what the I spin on
- 52:03Speaker 1: the ring and you I don't kind of trying to pull.
- 52:06Speaker 1: First of all, I don't appreciate you coming to my
- 52:07Speaker 1: household trying to mess my and you want to come
- 52:09Speaker 1: to me with this. I know the ring better be real.
- 52:13Speaker 1: If I were you, miss de niece, I would not
- 52:15Speaker 1: marry somebody that's gonna be I'm coming. I'm looking for
- 52:18Speaker 1: your pocket and you know what. You don't get the
- 52:21Speaker 1: ring and a right me and you're gonna go in it.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing to both of you?
- 52:25Speaker 1: All better? I'll tell you what if they did don't
- 52:27Speaker 1: want to hear me, and you're gonna have some more problems.
- 52:28Speaker 1: This is nephew telling me from the Steve Orbit Morning Show,
- 52:32Speaker 1: y'all just got prank. But the niece's sister that that
- 52:41Speaker 1: why she ain't got no man to be man. Wow,
- 52:49Speaker 1: that's how clear time you're about to start. I think.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I would I
- 53:00Speaker 1: want to ask you something. What is the baddest radio
- 53:03Speaker 1: show in the law? But he was upset with him. Man,
- 53:11Speaker 1: why don't you Oh yeah, you would be too much?
- 53:16Speaker 1: Whoa that's why you get both him on the phone
- 53:18Speaker 1: at the same time. I'm like when they're breathing changes.

- 56:14Speaker 1: ever lay. I'm going down to stuff to get counsel.
- 56:18Speaker 1: This is the first two of you have been on
- 56:20Speaker 1: where I'm scared. Yeah, that's wrong, Mississippi Monica was supposed

- 56:31Speaker 1: but still wanting fifteen tickets. Don't they do you like that?
- 56:34Speaker 1: They always You're giving me tickets this weekend for my
- 56:38Speaker 1: family to go to see you in Memphis. What's your point?
- 56:41Speaker 1: This chickna looks real funny, That's what this point is
- 56:45Speaker 1: exactly funny. And don't come to Houston. You probably have
- 56:49Speaker 1: to save me. You're working for free working, he working
- 56:59Speaker 1: for Yeah, he probably won't be in the play in Houston,
- 57:02Speaker 1: But we were you real good because you don't want
- 57:05Speaker 1: to get one of them tickets in Houston. Yeah, get
- 57:07Speaker 1: famous somewhere we here. You're real good in the play though,
- 57:10Speaker 1: you know, you get a lot of applause and everything
- 57:12Speaker 1: more than trying to get weird of the side. Peace
- 57:16Speaker 1: section alone and Houston's gonna kill him. Yeah, you will
- 57:25Speaker 1: have a tough time spreading them out. You're talking about
- 57:33Speaker 1: there you go in the back. Yeah, up, yes, everybody,
- 57:39Speaker 1: spread out. We just got to Houston, come tack just
- 57:49Speaker 1: that time. Let's go up. Hold on tight. We got
- 57:52Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. It's
- 57:54Speaker 1: that time. Buckle up and hold on tight. Strawberry Letter
- 57:58Speaker 1: twenty three. Thank you Tommy object outside adult advice. Hello everyone.
- 58:04Speaker 1: My mother forty nine in parentheses and father fifty have
- 58:07Speaker 1: been together for twenty one years and married for eighteen,
- 58:12Speaker 1: and for thirteen of those years, my father has been
- 58:15Speaker 1: cheating on my mother. The reason I know this is
- 58:18Speaker 1: because ever since I was a little, ever since I
- 58:21Speaker 1: was little, when they got into arguments, which is often,
- 58:24Speaker 1: he probably throws the fact that he has a couple
- 58:26Speaker 1: of women on the side in her face and sometimes
- 58:30Speaker 1: calls his mother and tells her how stupid my mom
- 58:33Speaker 1: is for staying with him when she knows he is
- 58:36Speaker 1: cheating on her. Now, recently, my dad decided that he
- 58:39Speaker 1: was going to change his ways and go back to church.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I do commend him for this, but my mom has
- 58:45Speaker 1: told me that she feels like it's a little it's
- 58:47Speaker 1: too little, too late. After all the verbal, mental, and
- 58:51Speaker 1: once or twice physical abuse, she feels like she should
- 58:54Speaker 1: move on. She feels that she is too old to
- 58:57Speaker 1: deal with this, and his temper and hygiene are are
- 59:01Speaker 1: getting worse as he ages. So basically, I think my
- 59:04Speaker 1: mom should do what makes her happy. But I know
- 59:07Speaker 1: that God frowns upon divorce and a child should stay
- 59:09Speaker 1: in his or her place. More importantly, my mom faithfully
- 59:13Speaker 1: listens to this show and maybe you all can provide
- 59:15Speaker 1: some outside adult advice. Wow. Well, dear daughter, First of all,
- 59:19Speaker 1: I gotta say that you sound like a very loving
- 59:22Speaker 1: daughter who who wants her mother to be happy. And yes,
- 59:26Speaker 1: the Bible and some religions, you know, they frown on divorce,
- 59:29Speaker 1: you know, although there are divorces in the Bible. But
- 59:33Speaker 1: the Bible also speaks of being equally yoked. Husband's loving
- 59:36Speaker 1: their wives as Christ love the Church. I mean, there's
- 59:39Speaker 1: a lot of stuff in the Bible, you know, on
- 59:42Speaker 1: this particular subject, But this is what I do know.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I know that the Lord wants his children to be
- 59:47Speaker 1: loved and treated well. He wants them respected and not humiliated.
- 59:51Speaker 1: And if your mother, you know, has been that for
- 59:54Speaker 1: all her years of marriage, or for at least thirteen
- 59:56Speaker 1: of the twenty one years of marriage, then maybe it
- 59:59Speaker 1: is time for for for a mom, for you to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: move on and Um, you know, not be subjected to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: this kind of treatment. I mean, this is humiliation, This
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: is wrong treatment. Your husband is out of order doing
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: this to you. I'm not in the situation, but based
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: on what your daughter says, yes, this is wrong. You
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: should not be treated this way. And it probably is
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: a little too late, too little too late. So you know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: do what you have to do. This is your decision,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: and you know, if it's right in your heart, the
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Lord will forgive you if you ask him, you know,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: And that's basically what I have to tell you. You know,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I mean, this is wrong. He's humiliating you, you know,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: calling his mom, he's cheating, throwing it in your face.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You know, you don't have to deal with this. You
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: don't have to put up with this. Steve Um. First
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: of all, the girl that wrote the letter, I didn't
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: um get her age. Yeah, I didn't get her age,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: but she's obviously old enough to write, intelligently say and
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: want some outside adult advice. So um, she's been raised properly.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: She's a good kid that wrote this letter, A good
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: daughter anyway. Um, the mother's forty nine, the father's fifty. Uh,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: this girl has overheard some crazy conversation. First of all,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: this man, I don't know any man who argues like this.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I really don't. You get into an argument and then
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: you're proudly throwing the fact that he has a couple
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: of women on the side, and you're telling this to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: your wife. I cannot tell you how that conversation is
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: really supposed to go. But I don't know many women
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: where you can throw this in her face mo thing
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: one time, not that blatant of a statement. I got
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: a couple of women on the side. That's that's some
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: doggish behavior right there. That's how men get the title
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: of dogs. Now that right there is some doggish behavior,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: because now you're just gonna do dirt and then you're
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: gonna smith the mud and the crap in her face.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Come on, man, that that's a bit much. Then sometimes
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you re call girl's mother and tell her how stupid
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: she was for staying with him. Wow, who is this guy?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: What guy arguses like this? Your mom has had some
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: low self esteem, But it looks like your mom is
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: getting it together. But it's coincidental that she's getting it
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: together at the same time when dad is trying to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: get it together. See not your dad decided that he
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: was gonna change his ways and go back to church.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I do command him for this, and I do too.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: But guess what your mama feels like. It's a little
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: too late. Guess what your mama is feeling exactly what
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: she's supposed to feel, and it's a natural reaction for
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: her to feel like it's a little bit too late.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Your mother's forty nine. She's not over the hill and done.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: When we come back, let's discuss the hygiene Paul. Part
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the hour you're listening show coming up in about twenty
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: minutes People season two, Season two of Bad Acting Theater
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: with the Chapman's coming up, and also don't forget at
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: the top of the hour. At the top of the hour,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: our good friend and family member Tyler Perry stopped by
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: he called, He's come on Steve for two of your
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: response to today's Strawberry letter. Let's go just about this
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: woman has been married to this man for twenty one
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: years and uh, she's forty nine, he's fifty. He's been
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: cheating on her. The girl the daughter wrote the letter,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: wants to know if we could just give a mom
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: some advice. And he's been throwing in his face that
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he got a couple of women on the side, and
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: sometimes he would tell her, tell a lady that how
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: stupid she is for staying with him, and when she
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: knows that he's cheating on her. Now, recently her dad
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: decided that he's gonna change his ways and go back
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: to church. Not a little girl commends him for this,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: but her mom told me that she feels like it's
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: too little, too late after all the verbal, mental, and
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: once or twice physical abuse. She feels like she ought
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to move on. She feels that she's too old to
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: deal with this. And his temple and hygiene is getting
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: worse as he ages. Right now, that line right there
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: made me start to fak His temple and hygiene is
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: getting worse as he ages. See, men always do things
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: for reasons. I'm thinking maybe this the fact that his
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: temple and his hygiene and got worse as he ages.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Maybe that that's what pushed him back into church. Because see,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he'd been crawling his little nasty, stinky, trifling eva lass
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: up in these other women's bed. Now they didn't got
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: tired of it. Don't come over here, no unless you
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: can wash Listen to me, hold on, hold on, I'm
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: tired of you crawling to me, smelling like every bit
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: of us going. Hi is your butt ashy? Your whole
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: body is at Now you're gonna fly them on top
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: of me. Let me tell you something. Don't don't come
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: over here no more. So now he'd got a couple
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: of them women that they're finally as he didn't age
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: his temple. Now he mad, but her mean, no, come
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: on come on here no more. You heard me? What
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you now you're gonna be nasty and act nasty. Don't
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: come over here no more. Now guess what. Now he
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: back at the church. Now come see the law to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: take you nasty, ashy and sk stinking. Now he back
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: at church. But guess what, your mama don't deserve this.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: And sometimes you got to pay for your actions. Sometimes
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: it's just time for pop to pay, that's all. Pop.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You can't just because you want to straighten it up
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: don't mean it's gonna get right. You cannot do women
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: wrong and expect them just because you're ready to change.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Now them to change too. Well. Guess what while you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: was cheating on them and whipping on them, they changed
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: to tell your mama that it's perfectly fine for her
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to go head on. The church might frown on divorce,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: but hey, let the church sleep with him if they
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: want to be accepting other man. Let him split the church.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Take him in your mama, don't have to keep taking it.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Tell you mama gonna find herself some happiness, you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: and don't even worry about it with his big stank
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you all right, Steve, you know we gotta go email
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: us or Instagram. What's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: at my girl, Shirley, And thank you so much for
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: joining me yesterday and every Thursday. Don't forget for the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: after show Strawberry Letter Live. I appreciate you guys very much. Alright,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: switching gears now now, Carla, I know we talked about this.

- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Tuesday evening at the Four Seasons in Miami. Uh Keisha
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: k Or walked down the aisle on and it was
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: an elevated platform. Her dress was beautifully blamed out. Now,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: according to People magazine, this is a who's who of
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: hip hop and Atlanta's social scene gathered for the ceremony.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I mean everyone was there, every big sean. Let's see
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: they said, did he was there? Yeah? Did he was there?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: So many many people it was. I mean everybody night.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Wasn't he No, no, no, no, he wasn't and he's out.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Obama's well, everybody on the hip hop scene. Who's who
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: in Atlanta's hip hop yesterday? I didn't even think about it.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Wasn't there, wasn't There's how much this wedding cost? Though?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: How much? At least two three millions? Okay, very close
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: a little over though, Jay one point seven million dollars
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: one point seven million couple through a lavish rehearsal dinner
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: ahead of their their nuptials, and Gucci Mane, whose real name,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: of course is Roderick Detlantic Davis got him and his
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: bride a pair of matching rolls. Royce Race. Whoa that
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: minister didn't say his real names? You want you want
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to take this one? He had right? Yeah, legally, Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: it's not going to last. What do you say that

- 1:08:59Speaker 1: rest of them don't sound serious. Pretty bad. I'll tell
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: you that she's gorgeous body. Oh my god, her bodies
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: it's otherworldly. It's other world like, yeah, man, her body
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: is sick. Yeah, some photos we all I have all
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: those in my phone. What did you say, married man?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: They'll check it out. The main event ten part mini
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: series premiering on b ET. You gotta you don't you
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: don't want to miss it. Let me tell you something.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: It's look like something that I'm not supposed to look at.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: If somebody send me something, one of my dudes, as
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: soon as I look at is deleted. You don't even
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: stand in your phone a love what Can you teach
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: your nephew. I don't need that in my life. Can
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you teach your phone? Nobody get in here without my phone? Well,

- 1:11:16Speaker 1: missed the reunion show last week, well good for you.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Here's how it ended. I gotta say, You're acting is
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: pretty darn horrible. I think this whole damn things. The
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: righting is bad, the sound effects is always late, y'all,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: don't steady your lines. I'm thinking about taking my name
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: off this whole damn thing. Can we just call it
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: bad act acting? Bad? Well? You know what, shut up, Junior? Why? Well,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I've been getting told shut off a ten week. I'm
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: so disgusted with this that I don't know if I
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: want to write another episode. Alright, well, paging mess, paging
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: doctor hot mess. But that was last season. So here
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: we are with the first show of season one, I mean,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: season two of bad acting. Already, I'm starting off on
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: the wrong foot. Uh, it's been one week since we
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: found out what's happening in Arrogant Texas. But let's pick
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: it up with KK, who is still on the run
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: from the Popo and who was being haunted by Beauregards.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Ghosts O the freaks come out at night. Hey, gay,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: where are you? Where are you bothering me? Because I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: know what you did and you need to apologize and
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: turn yourself in to the police. I'm doing a damn thing.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Don't make me kill you again. Whatever. You can't kill
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: me because I'm gonna ghost. I need you to apologize
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: to me and then go to apologize Earl. I'm sorry
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I killed you, and I'm sorry for trying to kill Earl.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Not leave me alone. Huh, that's what I wanted to hear.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I'm wearing a why I recorded the whole damn thing,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and I'm going to the police. Oh my goodness, the
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: ghost is wearing a wire. I guess we didn't see
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that one coming. All right, now, let's see what touch
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it is up to. What he's interrogating Junior about the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: work bouts of KK. What do you know about Arld
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Chapman getting shot in the butt with a bow and
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: arrow and a blow dart. I don't know nothing about it,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: and I don't like you in insinuating that I may
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: have had something to do with it. Shut up, Junior.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: We got reports that, uh, you were in the vicinity
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: of the convention when the Arrold Chapman was shot in
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: the butt with a bow and arrow and the blow
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: dark you matter if I coming in and look around.

- 1:14:01Speaker 1: let's take it back up at the hospital where earls
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: But is facing the heavens after being shot in the
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: behind with a blow dart and a bow and arrow. Dad,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I don't know who could have done this to you,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: but I'll help you figure it out. Well while I'm
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: in the hospital, I'm gonna need you to ask around whoa, whoa.

- 1:14:36Speaker 1: but but the lifestyle you chose for me is not
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the way I want to live my life. This is
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the hardest thing I ever had to say to you,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: and looking at you your behind all bandage up. It's
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: not making it easy now now that you're laid up

- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to take over. I want to thank my my friend
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Ramon for giving me the courage to say what I
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: have to say. You know what, you know what? Hold of?
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Let me stop. I can't do it. I can't do
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: this no more. This is it. No, this is me talking.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I can't do this no more. This is horrible. Man.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: This whole thing sucks that. I ain't joking either, man,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I mean the whole bad acting thing. Oh is this
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: don't make no damn sense. I know I said it
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: last week. I don't really think I can do not
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: not a whole season too of is man, y'all y'all
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: could do this without me. If you're not doing it,

- 1:15:58Speaker 1: don't believe him, but man, well keep writing it. I
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: do everybody. Paul, you know I mean Mama's Boy. We're

- 1:16:11Speaker 1: three o'clock and eight o'clock. I talking about everything is
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: stupid about this? Why did I Why do I even
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: get shot into? Why didn't you have butterfly get shot at?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Excuse me? Stopped because I'm not even in the shower,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: because I need to say I'm I'm supposed to believe.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I'm supposed to believe that there's a ghost. Jay only
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: rode himself back in here so he could have something
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: to say he was already dead. Or you're really pulling
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: back the curtain. Well let's see if there is the
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: next week. If you like bad acting theater, or if

- 1:19:43Speaker 1: all right, that's why I'm going to see boot myself.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: I saw we've been looking at these trains. Ok, no
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: cutting please, just that Trump, you better get your feep
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: already because I'm getting all this once again. He has
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: fine money. I keep telling y'all, it's a certain piece
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: of freedom. Come with this type of place. Yeah, I
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: said it. My bad checks in the mail right and man,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: we've been looking at these trailers man for the movie.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: The movie looks scary, but you're so ignorant in it.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: I'm confused. It's now you mentioned uncle Joe, but it's
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: it's mcdea turned all the way up in this movie,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: but then turns all the way up. But I'm telling
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Joe is killing the man. Joe won't. Joe won't let
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: her go. Man, Joe off the car to go to
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: go to handle one of the goals. She gets out
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: of the car. Joe goes he started the car. He
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: get ready to leave. They you gonna leave yourself and
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: he's like, I don't like that, dude. So he's cut
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: loose man. And then he says they sit down, and
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: she's like, she says, Joe, close your legs. Joe say
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: you can't close your league. Tyler let go and Tyler,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: what was the shoot? Toged? How long did it take
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you to make this movie? Five long days? Man? Laugh
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: was five days too, and it's when I got coming
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: out with Taragi. It's incredible. We did it in eight days.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: It's incredible. Wow, you changed the game on making movies. Man, Yeah, man,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I got I got a good team. We pull it together.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: We're getting all our coverage, We're doing a lot all
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: at once. So so we we figured out a whole
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: new way to do it. And you know, they don't
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: want that in Hollywood because they everybody trying to justify
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: their jobs. They want to waste money, you right, I
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: want to waste money and time. Well, Tyler, I have
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to ask you something. This This has nothing to do
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: with the movie right now, but I have to ask
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you that. I have to ask you this, Tyler. You
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: know I love you, but um, do you know Tommy's
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: in this play Mama's Boy. It's touring right now. I
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: just want to know because he told us you were
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: there one night, and we none of us believed. Is
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: it the truth? I was not lying? Let lying? I'm
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: making I knew I went, I went, no question. If
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you've stayed over there, stay over that time. All my
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: all my folks in that show. Shirley Murdoch was in
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: my first place she's in the show. Tommy killed it.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: You know, I've worked with Robert Given, Johnny Gilds, a
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: friend of mine, all all of my folks are there, man.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: So yeah, I went out to support and Janet went
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: to that he much. Not only did she go, but
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: she was saying how much she enjoyed him all of this, Tyler.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: But no, ain't ain't no picture. But he didn't take
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: a picture with Janet. I didn't want to. I didn't
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: want to take a picture. I felt like I was
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: gonna be a group if I asked you, you know,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: you know how you know how they think they are
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: when they think they got it, they'd be like, nine,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: take no picture. Picture, They ain't. You're just standing. I'm time.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Ain't take no picture with you girl. Okay, one more thing, Tyler,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: and then we'll get back to the movie. He said.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Tommy said that when he walked on on stage, he
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: got as much applause or more than Johnny gil Why crickets,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Let's let's go back to talking about both. I'm trying
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to give him the benefit of the don but are
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you gonna come up against my mind? Alright? Alright? He
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: put it. Okay, half ever was true, and then the
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: other half wasn't all right? Tyler, thank you for clearing
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: all that up. I'm so glad that I was able
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: to help in this very important something around there before
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: you get out of here, Tyler. Yeah, what what is
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: the number one thing that people should get out of
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: this movie? Hey, y'all sit tight. We're gonna ask Tyler
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the all important question when we come back, and it
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: has nothing to do with Tommy. What has to do
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: with the movie? Back? You're listening, Steve Harvey morning? Alright, y'all,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: we're back. We're back with our special guest family member
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: talent Perry. Uh. The movie Boot is in theaters now, everybody,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: It's in theaters now. It's Boot two, a Medea Halloween. Uh.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: In the movie, Uh, you aren't Bam, Hattie and Veal
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: running for their lives, Monsters, goblins and the Boogeyman. And
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: who is really turned up in this movie? Is that
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: damn uncle Uncle Joe Off the Hook? Off the Hook.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: I gotta go see it, yeah, man, I just want
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: everybody to go out and get out and go see it,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: because I'm telling you it's it's a it's a good laugh,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: it's a it's a hundred and hundred two minutes of
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: just laughing, just NonStop laughing, and with everything is going
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: on in the country, just go laugh, don't go and
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: that being too serious. And I just want to say
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: to all of my critics and all of the Academy
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: voters and on the people who vote for oscars and
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: all that stuff, you ain't been like this damn movie.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: You ain't gonna like it for more people who just
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: want to go out and have a good time. That's right,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: you know what. That's amazing that you've come to that point.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: You've always been there. But then after the critics and
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: the criticis you just went wild that the people I
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: really need to please are the ones who are the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: fans who need to laugh, and who's gonna buy these tickets?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: That's right by the millions. Man, Listen, if you look
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: at the having him not to like even they love me,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: it's wrong. They're like two and a half million people
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: watching that show, three and a half million people watching
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: to Happen have nots. And you know, never got any
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: recognition for anything. Ain't gotta day I'm in Double Act nomination.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: But people love it for what it is. And when
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: we start trying to please everybody else and and walk
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: away from who we are and what we like and
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: try to be into our stuff to make sure that
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: everybody else like in the hell with that man. You
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: go somewhere with that man, Thank you, thank you. I
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: love the fact that you do you and you believe
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: in yourself. Yeah, and you know who your basis And
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: I don't all right this dude right here right yeah,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: way pass, all right, Yeah, get up your trades and
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: do some reading. Yeah, it's way pass all right, man.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: I can't wait to see it. I really can't have
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: to do this right now. Guys, go out and see it.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Go see Boot two. You're gonna have a good time.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: I'm just wondering why Tom is so quiet. You know,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: I just like watching your work. I like it because
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: I like you know you you be paying attention. What
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: were you on Twitter? Instagram? Something? Yeah, you're still be
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: helping me promote this movie? Did I didn't? I come
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: see your plate man. Ladies and gentlemen, make sure you
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: get out and see Boom starting one and on this town.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: You do not want to miss it. Hi, I'm a
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: huge fan. Can't wait to work with you again, So
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: please don't be man. That's right, that's right, because you
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: get more applause than Johnny kill Man. Oh it's starting
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: to turn star. This is what's called networking. Yes, sir see,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: I'm actually texting him a text right now. What say radio, Tyler?
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: You know we love you, We love your work. We
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: support everything you do. I mean you know, we we
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: just love you. We do get it man, Yeah, all
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: the time. Anytime you want to promote something, come right here.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: This is your family, this is your home. Boot media
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: seven five million, baby, I count it two total. Yeah,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: all day long. I take thank you, gentlemen, Tyler Perry
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: get to the theaters together. Mr. You're listening to the
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. President Trump denies offending fallen soldiers families. Uh.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: The White House says President Trump was completely respectful and
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: a phone call to one of the grieving military widows.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: According to The Washington Post, one of the falling soldiers,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: Sergeant La David Johnson's mother said, yes, President Trump did
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: disrespect her son during that call. Kawanda Jones Johnson went
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: on to say that President Trump sarcastically told her son's
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: widow that he must have known what he signed. Up
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: for not to mention that the president never even referred
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: to her son by name, and that is something that
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: reportedly stuck out to his widow, Myesha. She was crying
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: the whole time, Joe Jones Johnson recounts, uh and when
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: she hung up the phone, she looked at me and said,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: he didn't even remember his name. That's the hurting part.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Of course, Trump has denied it, and he said he
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: has proof. And we on this show just want to say,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: uh to all of the fallen soldiers, offer our condolences
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: to all of the gold Star family for your loved
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: loved one service, for their bravery and for their courage.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Thank you for your service. Thank you, and definitely our
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: sympathies and condolences to the families and the children. I mean,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: and we still don't know what happened over there, and
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: yare and the president, you know, he's under scrutiny because
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: he started this politicially, the death of these fallen soldiers.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: He started it by talking about President Obama and his
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: predecessors and now he's Obama's name. Yes, yeah, yeah, he
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: just hates Obama. He has a misunderstanding about a principle
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: of success, he thinks that by making him appear less,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: it appears to make him to be more, and that
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: never works out for you in the long run. But
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: in the Art of a Deal, See when you read
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: his book The Art of a Deal, that's one of
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the tactics that they use. You have to in some
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: way show your superiority to competitive companies and things like that,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: where he's taken that into the presidency and so he
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: that's why he still talks about cricket Hillary, what Hillary did,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: the mistakes she made, what Obama did, what the mistakes
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: he made, because it's to say, even when he makes
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: a mistake, you should be okay with this because look
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: what they did, which no one gives a damn about
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: that man, because you're you're the president now and it's
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: time for you to build your own legacy, and destroying
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: other people's legacies while you're not building a legacy is nothing. See,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: you want to destroy repeal and replace Obamacare, but you
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: want to do it by starting to killing subsidies to
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: low income people will help people? Are you kidding me?
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: So you start there's not a leader. He's just not well,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: he's not he's not the great leader that we're used
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: to having and want to have because he's never been
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: a great servant. People who have never served don't make
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: good leaders. Sorry. All right, coming up, we'll close out
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: the show with just one more thing, our last break
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: of the day, and we'll have a very special guest,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: the one and only comedian Rodney Perry. You're listening to
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go with
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: our last break of the day with just one more thing.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: We're gonna talk to comedian and actor Rodney Perry. Steve
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: take it away, introduced him. Promise we got special guests
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: joining us now. It's one of the great stand up
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: comedians and actors. He's starring in the new b et
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: movie Digital Lives Matter hashtag Digital Lives Matter. That's gonna
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: premiere tomorrow, October twenty one at eight pm Eastern. Let's
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: find out about this new project. Please welcome our buddy,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: my man, Rodney Perry. Man. First of all, what's we
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: need to do, manual? This championship team here, running man, y'all,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: got y'all running boy, y'all y'all to win and got
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: Kevin Durant h Crown. Now y'all don't care now tell
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: us about the project. Man, It's called Digitalized Matter. It's
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: a great movie. It's starting of the young kid DC
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: Young Fly. Yeah, Rope, I mean directed it and her
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: company produced it. And I got a chance to come
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: in there man and um and really rock it out
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: and play the dad. I'm like, I'm a new dad.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: I'm about to start saying bang bang bang, go ahead.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: What is it about, Ry, Well, it's it's about social media.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's kind of movie for the millennials.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: It's a lot of these young kids out there. And
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: DC Young Fly is he played basically played himself. He's
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: got like three million followers and he wakes up one
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: day and all his followers are gone, and so he
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: has to figure out how to really connect with people
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: on a real level. And so it's kind of current
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: in that respect. And it's it's the type of movie. Man,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: it's funny. It's it's one of those new classics. I'm
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: glad it's gonna be on BT where a lot of
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: people just gonna get a chance to see it. Now.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: Our girl, Terry Jay Vaughan directed this movie. This is
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: her directorial debut. What was it like working with Terry
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: and how was she as a director? I would love
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: to hear about that. She leans as hell. I'm just
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: Terry will punch us when we walk on the sit everything.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: You know. You know, Terry is a sweetheart, and she
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: directs that way with a kind heart, and and she
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: takes you along the way and she's just talking and
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: she knows her stuff, like she got some some crazy
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: throp shots in this movie. Man, And I was just
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: impressed to be around her. Man. She's she's an awesome talent. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: congratulations to Terry, our girl, Steve. You should be very
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: proud of her. She played Levita alas a Jenkins. Yeah,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: that girl always doing something good. Trying to find a
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: project for both of them right now, Okay, bring them back? Yeah,
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: bring said back him. Yeah, a lot of shows are
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: rebooting now. I said, I want to do it. You
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: know you got I got a little chubby black dude
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: that are coming in, Rodney. I don't want to do it,
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: don't want you know, I ain't gonna try to take
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: a man job. But if you don't want it, hey, Rodney,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: let me ask you this. You sound really good, You
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: sound like yourself. How are you doing? Yeah? Rodney Perry
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: for anybody don't know, I had a stroke one year ago,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: almost to the day, like this time last year, I
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: would learn how to walk. So you know, the short answer,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Shirley is that man, God's awesome, and he took he
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: took a guy like Rodney Perry. He let me walk
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: over to the edge and look over, and he let
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: me come back. And uh, I mean, I'm blessed. I
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: was dealing with high blood pressure, my blood pressure for
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: one for one forty when I went in the hospital,
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: and so I changed my life. I changed my habit
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: changed my pres not high after you d have existing
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: conditions on this show. I'm a diabetic, and diabetics I
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: know they have blood presture. But I changed my God.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: I stopped eating meat, so that made a big difference
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: for me. You know, you know, chicken, No chicken, I'm
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: telling you right and no joke. I want some chicken
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: so bad now, right now, and when and when I
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: go back in on chicken, it's gonna be sad. You
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: might eat a live one, doesn't. Wow. Well, it's good news, buddy.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I'm glad you're hearing that. Yeah, glad to be heard,
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: man Y' y'all time created you do the movie Digitalized
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: Matter Rock this weekend on BT Saturday. Uh, it's gonna
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: be crazy at eight o'clock. So let me ask you, man,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: how would you on a percentage wise, how would you
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: describe you overcover? And that's a great question, Steve. I'm
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: in like nine nine seven percent. Could get back in
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: the choir. I wasn't I wasn't strokes. I don't like
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: when the hair strokes. And will come back to Vera
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: in the choir because you throw this way off, you
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: can't go on just for a couple of months. I'll
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: be honest. But I got my sway back, and you
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: know you there's a lot of things that you recover.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: First of all, you have a lot of fatigue, cold
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: stroke and stuff like that. So I'm doing great. Man,
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: to look at me, you can't tell I had a stroke, man, Rodney,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: that's that god you sir? Yes, yes, And I'm back
