- 2:40Speaker 1: She cooks for our grands and were always having friends
- 2:44Speaker 1: and families, family members over. So she cooked for for everybody.
- 2:48Speaker 1: The food always the only thing that she didn't got
- 2:51Speaker 1: a little pricksy, a little bit in a little later
- 2:53Speaker 1: years in our lives and our relationship where we said
- 2:57Speaker 1: and grabbed the food with our hands and stuff right
- 2:59Speaker 1: right right now, everything has to be on the plate
- 3:03Speaker 1: with the napkin, with the nice I just want to eat.
- 3:07Speaker 1: That makes me. My wife does that too. I was, okay,
- 3:09Speaker 1: when did the rules change? I've been grabbing for chicken
- 3:12Speaker 1: for years now. I can't just grab for chicken no more.
- 3:16Speaker 1: What we'reself time before you eat, we gotta make sure
- 3:20Speaker 1: we're taking pictures. And I don't know, lift my head up.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I got some crumbs on the side of my mouth
- 3:26Speaker 1: and white man with a tissue. I got a camera
- 3:29Speaker 1: in front of me or somebody videotape. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 3:33Speaker 1: We gotta stop all this. Oh my god, now this, this, this,
- 3:36Speaker 1: this comedian who's on the phone right now really is
- 3:39Speaker 1: an executive for the NFL. He played in the NFL
- 3:43Speaker 1: for fift ten years. The carner back for the eggs
- 3:47Speaker 1: for the egg Now, who he's talking about is the
- 3:50Speaker 1: quaid of the family. Her name is Tommy with an eye.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Now only she cook, but she gives all that is
- 3:58Speaker 1: too she can give. I met her and she was
- 4:00Speaker 1: on the me around. You know, how do you meet somebody, Troy,
- 4:04Speaker 1: how do you meet somebody who invites you to lunch?
- 4:07Speaker 1: And you said, what they're going? I don't know her
- 4:09Speaker 1: that well, she's telling me what to do, but she
- 4:13Speaker 1: does it. It's such a uh I don't draw. Maybe
- 4:16Speaker 1: you can't have me your brother, but she tells me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It's such a weight. I feel like I gotta do
- 4:21Speaker 1: it though you gotta do it? Or something wrong? Right like?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Did she give you that look like I'm not gonna
- 4:26Speaker 1: get no more in those seconds? Okay, all right, okay,
- 4:31Speaker 1: that makes sense what you're saying. I love it. Okay,
- 4:34Speaker 1: Now she is not said one word yet he spoken yet. Okay,
- 4:37Speaker 1: we spoke for six minutes, So it's time to introduce
- 4:42Speaker 1: the Queen. The head coach of the coach. Okay, she
- 4:52Speaker 1: called all the plays you know, quarterback, sneaks, office and
- 4:56Speaker 1: defense special teams. Please welcome to money making conversation, Tommy Vincent.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I was just letting, I was just letting y'all talk,
- 5:11Speaker 1: letting y'all do y'all things, so I can hear all
- 5:13Speaker 1: y'all little jokes and your little shenan again. But let
- 5:16Speaker 1: me just back it up and tell you why as
- 5:19Speaker 1: your wife, deserve your food up on the plate, because
- 5:25Speaker 1: we desire to make sure you guys are treated with
- 5:29Speaker 1: the best care possible because y'all make stuff happen. What
- 5:36Speaker 1: can and I say now she articulated like that, all
- 5:43Speaker 1: we can say is can I get more? Can I
- 5:47Speaker 1: get them? You got to make sure you're all good,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and we're all good and the thing about it, and
- 5:53Speaker 1: she's she's she's kind of like getting that. One of
- 5:55Speaker 1: my producers, Tracy Logan, because every time Tracy is around
- 5:58Speaker 1: that she's taking photos. Tracy has been to one of
- 6:00Speaker 1: her retreats. Tracy was recently up in New York where
- 6:05Speaker 1: a lot of the food neckworks came by and to
- 6:07Speaker 1: see her display, because you know, this is this is
- 6:11Speaker 1: this is a power couple, and uh, and I we joked,
- 6:14Speaker 1: Troy and I joke. But as a her skills in
- 6:19Speaker 1: the kitchen are pretty impressive. And uh, what she doesn't
- 6:23Speaker 1: do that makes me mad. She doesn't do it enough
- 6:25Speaker 1: social media. She doesn't post enough. And we don't talk
- 6:28Speaker 1: about that a fair you know, because you know we're
- 6:30Speaker 1: talking about business on air. You know, because Troy he
- 6:33Speaker 1: played fifteen years in the NFL, so he still has muscles.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I saw him at the Super Bowl in Houston getting
- 6:39Speaker 1: over on the wall. He could probably still tackle somebody
- 6:42Speaker 1: and put a little hurting over Sean mcd rashaan. They
- 6:45Speaker 1: never played I'm a I'm a TV all pro. I
- 6:48Speaker 1: am that, I am an NFL Hall of Fame couch potato.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I can complain about hits. Why you didn't hear him
- 6:57Speaker 1: that hard? But part of some of these hits they've
- 6:59Speaker 1: given these days her me watching TV to why why
- 7:11Speaker 1: do you tackle him like that? Oh my god, Oh
- 7:13Speaker 1: my god. But you you're you're you're part of the NFL.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's part, you know what makes the NFL such a
- 7:22Speaker 1: um uh emotional sport that makes people gravitate towards you know,
- 7:29Speaker 1: male females it's a sport that as tracks women, men, teenagers,
- 7:34Speaker 1: all genders. What makes it so unique. I think the
- 7:38Speaker 1: experience that everybody has that is involved. So whether you're playing,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you're participating the tailgating, and that's one of the things
- 7:47Speaker 1: here we're kicking off. We just kicked off our one
- 7:49Speaker 1: hundred seasons. And when you look at the history of
- 7:53Speaker 1: the game and how it has touched so many people individually,
- 7:57Speaker 1: those who have contribute to the game, but when you
- 7:59Speaker 1: look at i'm a community aspect. They call it that vantineum,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and everyone can participate whether you're playing, you're cooking, you,
- 8:10Speaker 1: you're preparing for tailgate, you're chairing, you the mall, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: it's such an emotional game that everybody can get involved.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And then you have your hometown, whether is at the
- 8:20Speaker 1: pro level, collegiate level, high school level. Then you have
- 8:23Speaker 1: your individual team that everybody's charing for. So the sport
- 8:27Speaker 1: is one that brings everybody together. And I think that's
- 8:31Speaker 1: why it's It's America's pastime. You know just what it does,
- 8:34Speaker 1: what it means to so many people, so many families,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and so many communities. Cool wrapping up this first segment,
- 8:39Speaker 1: we'll come back and uh talk a little bit more
- 8:42Speaker 1: with my favorite couple t t V. It's Troy and
- 8:45Speaker 1: Tommy Vincent. We learned a lot more about and let
- 8:48Speaker 1: Tommy tell us a lot bit more about the defensive
- 8:50Speaker 1: country be worked back with more money made conversation. This
- 8:52Speaker 1: is your show. This is ra Sean McDonald. I'm dancing
- 8:56Speaker 1: in my studio because then with my favorite power couple.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know she right, But when moves in there in
- 9:03Speaker 1: the commercial break, you know Troy and started talking about food,
- 9:06Speaker 1: which is like everybody knows that food. I'm the type
- 9:08Speaker 1: of guy I got uh, I got apps for food.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I ain't the Impossible Burger the other day. I'm going
- 9:14Speaker 1: to either Possible burger Burger king again today it's really good.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I still in lying to get me a chicken sandwich
- 9:19Speaker 1: and Popeyes got to the front, they ran out. I
- 9:22Speaker 1: had to go down to chick Filate you my chickens. Okay, Now, Troy,
- 9:27Speaker 1: are you not because she's quiet right now before she
- 9:30Speaker 1: starts taking over the show. I know she's bubbly over
- 9:33Speaker 1: there because she loves to talk. Not Troy. You know
- 9:35Speaker 1: why I love this interview, brother, because you know me
- 9:37Speaker 1: and you didn't talk this much last time. You know that, right,
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's okay cool. So so not that we're trying to
- 9:43Speaker 1: supersede the relationships, because when you hang up the phone,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you know you got to live with Tommy. Okay, yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: you know, Richard. Just thats good. It's a great show, laughing. So,
- 9:59Speaker 1: so tell me about the food you've been experiencing lately, Troy.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I just, I just, I just want to put one
- 10:04Speaker 1: thing on the record to this whole relationship here. We've
- 10:07Speaker 1: always been we have a balance of how we get acknowledged,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and we've all had different ingredients, generational, you know, recipes.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I introduced time to a recipe that she has yet
- 10:21Speaker 1: to publicly acknowledge that it was my recipe that has
- 10:25Speaker 1: become one of her signature pieces, which is purple grits
- 10:29Speaker 1: and shrimp, purple gritz, purple purple grits and shrimp. And
- 10:37Speaker 1: I cannot get her to acknowledge publicly what she will
- 10:40Speaker 1: do today. I'm a trademark at I want to trademark that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I want her to talk about this signature Tommy, Tommy,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and where it came from. Tommy. The floor is yours.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Now you have the ability to speak as long as
- 10:53Speaker 1: you want so. First of all, they are blue corn grit,
- 11:02Speaker 1: not purple grit. So that's one that you know that
- 11:06Speaker 1: Troy is telling you a bold face live right here
- 11:09Speaker 1: on this radio station. Secondly, the blue corn grit are
- 11:17Speaker 1: smothered with a curry shrink um and it is delicious.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on record saying that it is delicious.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And I'm also going going record saying that Troy did
- 11:32Speaker 1: not develop that recipe. And y'all heard it first here
- 11:37Speaker 1: today on this radio station on Money Making Conversation. It's
- 11:40Speaker 1: Brandon Now, Troy, it's Brandon now. Sorry, brother, I gotta
- 11:44Speaker 1: ride with her now, I gotta ride with us. So
- 11:46Speaker 1: don't don't you saying, you continue talking, you promote my brand.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I can. I can just take that little drop and
- 11:53Speaker 1: put it on social media. Everything Troy said don't matter
- 11:57Speaker 1: what's you say, Tim, what's you say? Time to continue.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But I'm but what I'm what I'm really what I'm
- 12:03Speaker 1: really grateful about in this conversation is Toy knows that
- 12:08Speaker 1: those that those blue corn grits and the curry shrimp
- 12:11Speaker 1: are so outstanding that he wants to take credit for
- 12:15Speaker 1: it because they're excellent. But that's how we roll in
- 12:18Speaker 1: Vincent Country. Everything we do is stand with the sale
- 12:22Speaker 1: of excellence because what we do and what we put
- 12:25Speaker 1: put forth for people to participate in, to eat, to fellowship,
- 12:30Speaker 1: to celebrate, whatever it is, it's important that we're giving
- 12:33Speaker 1: people something that they're able to see so that they
- 12:37Speaker 1: can be If they see it, they can be it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And so that's what we're about. And so Troy, thank
- 12:42Speaker 1: you so much for that high praise. I'm sure you're
- 12:48Speaker 1: aware of right now that the money making conversation here
- 12:52Speaker 1: sometimes it is could be fake news. Um, you don't
- 12:57Speaker 1: always want to believe that to hear uh as he
- 13:02Speaker 1: has that reputation uh sometimes not always being factual. I've
- 13:10Speaker 1: never had that on my show at two years. That
- 13:13Speaker 1: is historical, man, that is funny. That is surviewer. Listen,
- 13:18Speaker 1: we're talking and then we'll see fires. Beware listen, just beware,
- 13:22Speaker 1: because you don't know what's gonna come out of this
- 13:24Speaker 1: station on this show. Now you know he's a professional
- 13:28Speaker 1: cornerback because he knows he's a smack talker. He had
- 13:32Speaker 1: looked across the lines on wide receivers and he talked
- 13:35Speaker 1: it right back. And when they talked it writing back
- 13:37Speaker 1: at him, boy, this is funny today. Let me let
- 13:40Speaker 1: me shift a look at you see right quickly see
- 13:42Speaker 1: we're not doing fake new look at our faith and
- 13:44Speaker 1: you talked about some real dudes there the new YouTube
- 13:47Speaker 1: show stay awhile tell me tell me about that. This
- 13:50Speaker 1: is funny boy. So while is um We just launched
- 13:56Speaker 1: it UM three but I think it was three weeks
- 13:58Speaker 1: ago and it is a YouTube show and it is
- 14:02Speaker 1: an open invitation for people to come and have a
- 14:05Speaker 1: seat at our dinner table having an experience. But what's
- 14:10Speaker 1: your say with Sean? I said, Wow, that's hot. I
- 14:12Speaker 1: need to get that link? Can you can you share
- 14:14Speaker 1: me with a link so when it does happen so
- 14:16Speaker 1: I can just let my my my, my followers are
- 14:19Speaker 1: always well because that sounds like something that we can
- 14:21Speaker 1: like build momentum on. Correct. Absolutely, it's it's myself UM
- 14:27Speaker 1: hosting along with guests. Are our launch video in the
- 14:31Speaker 1: series is actually me and Troy cooking some barbecue beef
- 14:35Speaker 1: sandwiches and we had put it down. You heard it,
- 14:44Speaker 1: Me and Troy Protien chef Tommy v Troy. Troy has
- 14:52Speaker 1: to learn how to cook because I need him to
- 14:54Speaker 1: serve me as well, this ain't no one side of
- 14:56Speaker 1: relationship in the marriage. You gotta make sure or that
- 15:00Speaker 1: he does for you and you do for him. We
- 15:02Speaker 1: do things together. So if he don't know something, ladies
- 15:06Speaker 1: tell him. Don't just complain and don't just mumble and grumble.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Let him know what your needs are. And I need
- 15:12Speaker 1: my man to cook for me, so I had to
- 15:13Speaker 1: show him how to put it down in the ship.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But anyway, so on the on the show, it's myself
- 15:20Speaker 1: hosting and then I'm in the kitchen with Troy, and
- 15:23Speaker 1: then some episodes with friends and the kids or we're
- 15:27Speaker 1: going over and teaching recipes along with also incorporating some
- 15:33Speaker 1: nuggets of some invaluable life lessons and key fragments of
- 15:39Speaker 1: words that you can take away and apply to your
- 15:41Speaker 1: life today to find success where you are. Wow, that's
- 15:47Speaker 1: what what? What was the drive to do this type
- 15:50Speaker 1: of show? Tommy? You know, it's really important when when
- 15:57Speaker 1: you have a platform of any kind in my nion,
- 16:00Speaker 1: that you use it in a way that has a
- 16:02Speaker 1: positive social impact and also show people that they can
- 16:06Speaker 1: do things in a positive way and you can have
- 16:09Speaker 1: a lot of fun doing it. There's this misconception that
- 16:12Speaker 1: somehow wholesome living equates to you're not fun, it's not exciting,
- 16:17Speaker 1: you're not having a good time. But that's a lie.
- 16:20Speaker 1: There's there's pure and genuine joy and fun in this situation.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And any time the family comes together and you've got
- 16:26Speaker 1: all those different personalities, you're having a ball. And that's
- 16:30Speaker 1: what we're doing. We are having a ball together and
- 16:33Speaker 1: just loving on each other and just infusing hope in
- 16:36Speaker 1: one another. I feel like you guys are part of
- 16:39Speaker 1: my life and only problem. I just gotta introduced my
- 16:41Speaker 1: wife into this relationship so we can all have fun
- 16:43Speaker 1: and start laughing together publicly. You know. She just an
- 16:46Speaker 1: abstract person over there, you know. And she she texts
- 16:49Speaker 1: me after the after the interview, Well, when I'm gonna
- 16:51Speaker 1: meet him? You're talking about it on the way. When
- 16:56Speaker 1: When when we're gonna get the Philly Well, wherever they are,
- 16:59Speaker 1: when we're gonna meet him? You know, a Tommy in
- 17:01Speaker 1: closing it's football season. You know, how does the house
- 17:06Speaker 1: change during football season? Well, listen, football is who we are.
- 17:16Speaker 1: It's been Troy and I were raised up in in
- 17:18Speaker 1: the NFL. I was nineteen, he was twenty four when
- 17:22Speaker 1: we got married. And he was in the league. Now
- 17:27Speaker 1: here we go ahead, this football foot family, go ahead,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you go. Fake news, fake news, the money making conversations.
- 17:44Speaker 1: This is what we do as a people. Fake news,
- 17:47Speaker 1: take news, fake news. When you continue, Tommy, So we
- 17:54Speaker 1: have a son that played high school football, and we
- 17:56Speaker 1: have two sons that played college football, and then you
- 17:59Speaker 1: got Troy with you know, the NFL on Sundays, Mondays
- 18:03Speaker 1: and Thursdays, and so it's a great time for us
- 18:07Speaker 1: to continue that fellowship around food, doing tailgates and so
- 18:11Speaker 1: we're able to travel to different cities. We have RV
- 18:16Speaker 1: that we UM utilized to go to the games, and
- 18:22Speaker 1: we have the ability to cook our food and eat
- 18:25Speaker 1: it on the road and hang out having a good
- 18:28Speaker 1: time doing it. So it's a great time of the
- 18:30Speaker 1: year for us. We actually really look forward to it
- 18:33Speaker 1: every year. My friends, you listen to Troy and time event,
- 18:37Speaker 1: they're my friends. They're your friends too, because they're sharing
- 18:41Speaker 1: their life with you. Um, both of you, both of you,
- 18:44Speaker 1: both of your special When you know that when I
- 18:46Speaker 1: say that publicly or privately, don't ever stop doing what
- 18:49Speaker 1: you're doing. And again, I love both of you because
- 18:53Speaker 1: the energy and the compassion and the great food. And Tommy,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I know you're doing it all by yourself because he's
- 19:00Speaker 1: just eating, just like I'm gonna my house. Here we go,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you know. Don't worry about that brother over that, you know,
- 19:06Speaker 1: don't worry about him over there, just like I don't
- 19:08Speaker 1: worry about stephen A. Smith. I can't worry about it.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Don't you worry about them? Okay, we used to have
- 19:13Speaker 1: a mutual friend and stephen A. Smith. Now we don't.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I love both of y'all, you know, So we go
- 19:21Speaker 1: talk all fair because y'all need to be on TV.
