- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:06Speaker 6: to the voice, Come on, dig me now, One and
- 2:08Speaker 6: only Steve Harvey Man oh Man, got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I do.
- 2:13Speaker 7: God so big to me, man, I just have to
- 2:16Speaker 7: tell you about it. I can't help it. It's rather
- 2:19Speaker 7: obvious to me how big, how good God is. He's
- 2:23Speaker 7: absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one, he'd
- 2:30Speaker 7: be clowning, he'd be just showing out.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:34Speaker 7: I'm just over here, just on the receiving end. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 7: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:43Speaker 7: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:49Speaker 7: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 2:58Speaker 7: to begin what we want on our hopes, our dreams,
- 3:02Speaker 7: our desires. Why won't you start your mission today? Why
- 3:06Speaker 7: don't we all decide together that just individually. Look you listening,
- 3:14Speaker 7: you got something that you've been dreaming about. You got
- 3:16Speaker 7: an ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got
- 3:20Speaker 7: goals you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them.
- 3:25Speaker 7: Everybody's got something that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 7: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:33Speaker 7: mission today? Stop the procrastination.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:37Speaker 7: The procrastination is only hurting you yourself. If you got
- 3:42Speaker 7: a goal of aspiration to dream and you fall off
- 3:45Speaker 7: track momentarily, you can get back to that because God
- 3:50Speaker 7: know where you left off.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:52Speaker 7: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 7: you stopped for a long period of time, but God
- 3:56Speaker 7: knows where you left off, you can get back on track. Look, man,
- 4:01Speaker 7: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 4:03Speaker 7: and it got off track.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Now it got off track. I just kept it.
- 4:08Speaker 7: As one of the dreams, and in some real dog
- 4:11Speaker 7: moments when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all
- 4:15Speaker 7: I was hanging on to was just the hope that
- 4:17Speaker 7: one day it could. But that's what faith is really about.
- 4:21Speaker 7: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 4:25Speaker 7: But faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man,
- 4:29Speaker 7: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse
- 4:33Speaker 7: Jackson say it, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's
- 4:36Speaker 7: just the hope. I was hanging on a hope, And
- 4:41Speaker 7: I'm talking about when it got real ugly and funky
- 4:44Speaker 7: out there for me, when it looked like I wasn't
- 4:46Speaker 7: gonna ever make it, and all of the facts was
- 4:50Speaker 7: in and everything pointed in the direction you not gonna
- 4:53Speaker 7: make it. You done really messed up this time. Then
- 4:56Speaker 7: I sat there and I just hung on to the hope.
- 5:00Speaker 7: But man, that's what I'm saying. If you got a
- 5:03Speaker 7: dream on aspiration of vision or something, when you fall
- 5:07Speaker 7: off track and you want to go get back in line,
- 5:10Speaker 7: God holds your place.
- 5:12Speaker 2: See. He held on to that for me.
- 5:15Speaker 7: He knew I was off tracking, out of line, but
- 5:17Speaker 7: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:20Speaker 7: be on TV. Now, when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 7: you quit tripping and you come and your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:26Speaker 7: Then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 7: lot longer to get here than I wanted to. But
- 5:31Speaker 7: then it was necessary because I needed all of them
- 5:34Speaker 7: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 7: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:38Speaker 7: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 7: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 7: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 5:46Speaker 7: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:52Speaker 7: I can tell you about me better I can tell
- 5:54Speaker 7: you about anybody. And I done been through enough whereas relatable,
- 5:59Speaker 7: where enough people can go. Man that happened to me.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Appreciate you saying that, that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 7: I get it now. See at the time, no, I
- 6:07Speaker 7: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 7: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 7: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me. But
- 6:15Speaker 7: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:18Speaker 7: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 7: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 7: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:30Speaker 7: there and did wrong. He forgave me. He said, because, man,
- 6:35Speaker 7: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 7: for you that is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 7: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 7: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 7: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 7: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Now he threw it me. Yet Nope, I have jet Nope.
- 7:02Speaker 7: But guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 2: You know. It's like I was.
- 7:06Speaker 7: Talking to this young brother the other day about comedy
- 7:09Speaker 7: and he's a really good stand up. You know, this
- 7:11Speaker 7: young dude that's really good. He said, Man, what is
- 7:15Speaker 7: this I feel every night before I go on stage.
- 7:18Speaker 7: I don't know what it is. I just want it
- 7:20Speaker 7: off me, I said, sir, listen to me, you young dude.
- 7:24Speaker 7: This thing that climbs on my back every night before
- 7:28Speaker 7: I go on stage. I don't know what it is.
- 7:31Speaker 7: It's got something to do with pressure, It's got something
- 7:34Speaker 7: to do with anticipation. It's got a whole lot to
- 7:37Speaker 7: do with the fear of falling.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He said.
- 7:39Speaker 7: What you mean by that, I say, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 7: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 7: and step off of cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 7: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 7: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:53Speaker 7: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 7: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now these jokes provide
- 8:00Speaker 7: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 7: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 7: then I take the audience this way and I swung
- 8:11Speaker 7: them back over to that way. We might swing out
- 8:13Speaker 7: to the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami
- 8:17Speaker 7: with this joke. We may take it on out to
- 8:19Speaker 7: LA and I just swing back and forth till I
- 8:21Speaker 7: land softly. The crowd cheers. The night is over with,
- 8:26Speaker 7: I said, but it's been too many nights though. When
- 8:28Speaker 7: I walked off that cliff and I pulled the cord
- 8:30Speaker 7: and the parachute didn't open, I said, Now I'm just
- 8:33Speaker 7: free falling out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working.
- 8:36Speaker 7: Ain't the parachute didn't open? I said, So see, that's
- 8:40Speaker 7: what it's like for me. And then you know what
- 8:43Speaker 7: I found out if you done walked off the cliff
- 8:45Speaker 7: in life and you ain't got no guard in your life.
- 8:49Speaker 7: It's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:52Speaker 7: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 8:57Speaker 7: now that fog gets you closer to the grave, right, see,
- 9:00Speaker 7: we all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:02Speaker 7: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 7: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 7: here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a
- 9:12Speaker 7: nice ride, and God just helps your descent appear more
- 9:16Speaker 7: like a rise and more like a euphoric fall, instead
- 9:20Speaker 7: of not having no God in your life and you
- 9:23Speaker 7: just walking off that cliff every day, free falling. Ain't
- 9:27Speaker 7: got no cord, you steady pulling, you hollering the whole
- 9:30Speaker 7: way because you to mess around with yourself and ain't
- 9:33Speaker 7: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 9:36Speaker 7: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 9:40Speaker 7: got to jump every day, than to not have one.
- 9:43Speaker 7: God has been like a parachute for me. Ask me
- 9:47Speaker 7: where that came from. I can't tell you. But like
- 9:51Speaker 7: I always say, most good things that happen in my
- 9:53Speaker 7: life that I can't explain, its usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:08Speaker 7: twenty sixth version.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Some thing's never changed. Fact. God is good. Period point.
- 10:21Speaker 7: If you don't believe that, my strong suggestion to you
- 10:27Speaker 7: is get another radio show. S gone go. I don't
- 10:34Speaker 7: have time. I'm not in the witness in business. Well,
- 10:39Speaker 7: I'm in the witness in business. I'm not in the
- 10:41Speaker 7: conversion business.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Let card.
- 10:46Speaker 7: That's the thing I discovered about my role as a Christian.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Somebody was talking about me online, talking about I said
- 10:56Speaker 7: a lot of positive things about Muslims and all this,
- 11:00Speaker 7: and he called himself a Christian. Okay, let's just get
- 11:03Speaker 7: this out the way. I stand by whatever I said.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Stand on it. I'm not your pastor. I don't have
- 11:11Speaker 7: a church. I ain't asked you to follow me nowhere.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Stand on it meant what I said, This is twenty
- 11:20Speaker 7: twenty six I'm going on by my business. I strongly
- 11:24Speaker 7: suggest you do too. It is too much we can
- 11:29Speaker 7: do on a positive level to spend any time addressing
- 11:33Speaker 7: your negativity.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I said something you don't like. Stop liking what I say.
- 11:39Speaker 8: That's all time, though, If you don't like what I say,
- 11:50Speaker 8: stop listening to what I say.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Okay, what else?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Ain't that's not it? But that's not what I changed it.
- 12:00Speaker 2: See or since you since you just said that ain't
- 12:04Speaker 2: what I said. Check this out.
- 12:06Speaker 7: If you don't like what I said, I just say
- 12:11Speaker 7: something else. See see how that works? Yeah, you know,
- 12:20Speaker 7: because you know what, as I approached this next birthday,
- 12:23Speaker 7: I wanted to be perfectly clear. Haha, no longer.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Care you have waited. I'm just at this point too.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You have been you know.
- 12:34Speaker 7: I was just wondering when it would happened, because like
- 12:36Speaker 7: my father in law, he bu not care my daddy.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I watched my daddy not kill I'm talking about.
- 12:44Speaker 9: But they have a radio show that at all. Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 9: or TV. That's the only difference. So you can't say everything.
- 12:56Speaker 9: I'm just pointing that out.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Well, you know, I should have knew it was over.
- 13:01Speaker 7: One of my daddy's friends came to the house one
- 13:03Speaker 7: time I was a little boy, and obviously they had
- 13:07Speaker 7: had some type of falling out that was above my
- 13:10Speaker 7: level of understanding because I just wanted to play with
- 13:14Speaker 7: my truck. And his name was mister Joe Wells and
- 13:17Speaker 7: mister Joe Wells came over my daddy house and said,
- 13:20Speaker 7: but I just wanted to come by and tell you
- 13:23Speaker 7: how I felt. My daddy looked dead at Joe Wells
- 13:26Speaker 7: and said, you want some of the barbecue because I
- 13:29Speaker 7: don't give it about what you just said.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Welcome to the ride, y'all?

- 15:00Speaker 10: The Book of Womack, we are going from the second chapter,
- 15:05Speaker 10: first verse, and it starts with, uh, I'm the best
- 15:11Speaker 10: friend he's got. I give him the shirt off my back.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Start right there. Mm hmm.
- 15:21Speaker 7: This is a sermon about giving to the unfortunate.
- 15:29Speaker 10: Yes, giving above and beyond.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Mm call to do that. He knows he can trust
- 15:40Speaker 2: me with his life.
- 15:42Speaker 7: Start right there. And we get into a thing called friendship.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Read.
- 15:48Speaker 10: But each time he leaves me alone, leaves me alone
- 15:53Speaker 10: with his wife.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Start right there.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Yes, tricky is the situation.
- 16:05Speaker 2: If you leave me alone with her free.
- 16:12Speaker 10: I wish he didn't trust me so much. I think
- 16:18Speaker 10: he really trusts me too much.
- 16:23Speaker 7: Start right there. I said that twice two times, doesn't matter. Fact,
- 16:28Speaker 7: that's right, and then wrote a song about it. I
- 16:34Speaker 7: wish you didn't trust me the way you do, Lord him, mercier.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Read how can he be so blind? We both got
- 16:47Speaker 10: the same taste. He should know when he's gone on
- 16:52Speaker 10: his business trips. I can't help watching his woman because
- 16:58Speaker 10: I'm losing my grip.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Lord her Mercy, stop right there. The wronging has been issued. Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 7: statements have been made. Yes, accusations is on the way, Reith.
- 17:19Speaker 10: I wish he didn't trust me, somebody. I think he
- 17:22Speaker 10: really trusts me to.
- 17:24Speaker 2: My stop right? Why is you keep trusting me? Ree?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Though I swear, oh, it's not my will? Stop right.
- 17:36Speaker 2: There's a way line now when you say it ain't
- 17:39Speaker 2: your will, then who will is it? Ree? But there's
- 17:42Speaker 2: a way, there's a way she makes me feel stop
- 17:47Speaker 2: right now?
- 17:48Speaker 7: Why is she making him feel any kind of way?
- 17:52Speaker 7: And her husband is going on via the true.
- 17:55Speaker 10: Lord, I'm scared, so scared of what I do if
- 17:59Speaker 10: she's starts feeling the same way to stop right there.
- 18:05Speaker 7: She just said she making you feel a certain way.
- 18:10Speaker 7: You hoping that that's true?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yes?
- 18:14Speaker 7: He gone, Aye, Yes, he's gone. Y'all got same taste,
- 18:18Speaker 7: ain't you?
- 18:19Speaker 2: They got the same taste? Watch this here? Read one
- 18:24Speaker 2: more time? He said it again, pastor. I wish he
- 18:27Speaker 2: didn't trust me so much. We got a problem. I
- 18:32Speaker 2: think you really trust me to Mike.
- 18:36Speaker 7: Sorry right there? How many times muscle Main come to you.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Big over you, Yes, plead with you not to trust me.
- 18:53Speaker 7: I go back now to what he said I would
- 18:57Speaker 7: give him the shirt off my back.
- 19:01Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 19:03Speaker 7: Well you then probably laid it over there across the chair.
- 19:06Speaker 10: You ain't got chair read a listening Now, it's not
- 19:12Speaker 10: that it's not that she leads me on. I'm getting
- 19:17Speaker 10: there all by myself. Right, Yes, you ain't gonna say
- 19:22Speaker 10: nothing to me. I'm looking at you. You what I
- 19:24Speaker 10: won't read? But just being with her all all alone,
- 19:31Speaker 10: I can't help.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But hoping that he never comes home. Oh yeah, let
- 19:42Speaker 2: me handle it from here. Yes, now the story the
- 19:47Speaker 2: verse too turn.
- 19:50Speaker 7: Now I'm really hoping and he don't come home. Now
- 19:57Speaker 7: we wishing Ill will on his friend?
- 20:02Speaker 1: Ah?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Do you hope he don't come back home? Yeah?
- 20:07Speaker 7: Mayaby, here's a car accident. Maybe he step out on
- 20:13Speaker 7: the train track and get took four hundred yards up
- 20:15Speaker 7: the road. Mayaby, you hoping he tried to cross the
- 20:20Speaker 7: track and the gate open up and come down. Trappers
- 20:23Speaker 7: card kill him dead? You and the baby he was
- 20:26Speaker 7: in the arm robbing down. That's a quick trip to
- 20:28Speaker 7: Somebody shot him in the back of the head. You
- 20:31Speaker 7: hoping in a man don't come home? What in the
- 20:33Speaker 7: world is going on? This ain't no kind of friend
- 20:37Speaker 7: of yours. He done told you you trust me too much.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Stop trusting him because he's wishing to ill will on you.
- 20:47Speaker 7: This ain't your frid He'll get you the shirt off
- 20:51Speaker 7: his back. I guess he will, because he done took
- 20:54Speaker 7: it all while you was at home. She and not
- 20:56Speaker 7: making a sandwich. She turned around. He's sitting in the
- 20:59Speaker 7: lounge button NCKD.
- 21:01Speaker 2: What are it going on in here? All he did
- 21:04Speaker 2: was go out of town. Let you come over.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Now you are been and over changing channels in front
- 21:09Speaker 7: of her face when.
- 21:10Speaker 2: You ain't got no clothes on. What hell is going on?
- 21:13Speaker 7: You was in my house and I told you you
- 21:15Speaker 7: trust me too much to do untrustworthy.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Church is over?
- 21:21Speaker 3: Oh god?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Wow?
- 21:22Speaker 9: All right, thank you, Reverend Motown. Thank you digging deaf Jaim.
- 21:27Speaker 9: With that word coming up next to this, ask the

- 22:25Speaker 9: Did you know that cursing makes you stronger?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Did you know that?
- 22:32Speaker 9: And Spelman College, we'll talk about it. Spelman College is
- 22:37Speaker 9: named the best college for females in the nation. That's
- 22:40Speaker 9: all coming up at the top of the hour. But
- 22:42Speaker 9: right now it is time to ask the colo. This
- 22:46Speaker 9: is from Avery and Charlotte. Avery writes, my wife gets
- 22:50Speaker 9: upset and will block me on her phone. I stopped
- 22:53Speaker 9: on my way home to have drinks with a friend.
- 22:56Speaker 9: I couldn't tell my wife because I was blocked. How
- 22:58Speaker 9: can she have an attitude dude with with over a
- 23:01Speaker 9: situation she created?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Does this make sense?
- 23:06Speaker 2: Doesn't He didn't call her tell her where she he
- 23:10Speaker 2: was at because she blocked on the right. Y'all taking
- 23:14Speaker 2: this block day too far.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You just learned how to block yourself, right, Yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 7: But you can't block your spouse. No, you got to
- 23:24Speaker 7: answer that call. She started it blocked.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, she blocked him.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Be careful of people who are victim and circumstances they
- 23:34Speaker 7: created themselves.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Are you? You blocked the man? Then you mad because
- 23:38Speaker 2: he ain't call you and tell you where he at?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, a bit much. How do you block your husband?
- 23:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:46Speaker 9: Where's the lodge there? Make it make sense? Like he said,
- 23:49Speaker 9: make it make sense.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I ain't never even thought of nothing like that.
- 23:53Speaker 1: No other people, Yeah, but not your spouse.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Come on you, that's crazy, all right?
- 24:00Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:01Speaker 11: I didn't look at the phone and cussed and cuff
- 24:04Speaker 11: before I answered.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I hadn't done that.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Like what she won't?
- 24:11Speaker 2: We know?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Well? We know? Hello? Yeah all right? Moving on to
- 24:19Speaker 1: Deve Andre.
- 24:20Speaker 9: In Queen's clo DeAndre writes, I planned to spend New
- 24:26Speaker 9: Year's Eve with my girlfriend, but an old side piece
- 24:29Speaker 9: called and said she had a suite in the city
- 24:31Speaker 9: for the night. I ended up getting stuck with her
- 24:34Speaker 9: till late on New Year's Day. My girlfriend won't speak
- 24:37Speaker 9: to me at all. How do I fix this fiasco?
- 24:47Speaker 1: I can't help you. You can't give him a good lie?
- 24:52Speaker 2: No, I ain't no lie. It's New Year's Eve, don't
- 24:56Speaker 2: it's New Year's Eve. Your ex call said she had
- 24:59Speaker 2: a sweet You went over there, you got stuck with
- 25:01Speaker 2: her and lasted all the way to me at New
- 25:03Speaker 2: Year's Day.
- 25:04Speaker 7: Now yo, yo, she won't speak to you, bro, I can't. No,
- 25:09Speaker 7: there is no lie for this right here. The lie
- 25:12Speaker 7: you needed to tell was before you went over to
- 25:15Speaker 7: the sweep.
- 25:17Speaker 9: Oh okay, the timing was just off.
- 25:24Speaker 7: You could tell the lie, but it had to be
- 25:26Speaker 7: before you went over there to the sweep. Hey, listen,
- 25:33Speaker 7: something just came over me. I'm going on the expedition.
- 25:38Speaker 7: I'm going to say the polar bears in.

- 25:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna say these polar bears. It's crazy. It's crazy, man.
- 25:56Speaker 7: And then I was in that airport over there, because
- 25:59Speaker 7: I got what airport was you at. I was in Maine,
- 26:03Speaker 7: and we held over and I just said, man, you
- 26:05Speaker 7: know what, I'm going home, so.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Here I am. Baby. You were in Maine, Yeah, I
- 26:11Speaker 2: was on my way up Iceland. You gotta tell the

- 26:22Speaker 1: You go on your way to Iceland. But they got
- 26:25Speaker 1: held over in Maine.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Iceland. What's the problem. I've sold a couple of lives.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Check on. I was. I was.
- 26:37Speaker 7: You know, we had made these players for New Year's Eve, right,
- 26:40Speaker 7: and you know I had been praying a lot and meditating,
- 26:44Speaker 7: and I don't know what I thought. God told me
- 26:48Speaker 7: to go and help say icy and so I went
- 26:55Speaker 7: and got right on the place. It was the craziest thing, man,
- 26:57Speaker 7: It was just like And I got in Maine and
- 26:59Speaker 7: then I got to.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Think, and I said, that.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Did you fly into into Maine?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Maine? Main Man, Main Maine, Main Maine. I was up there.
- 27:19Speaker 2: It was cold, Yeah, yeah, man. And I sat down
- 27:26Speaker 2: and just said, you know what, man, it's told to me.
- 27:29Speaker 2: You know that that probably wasn't even God, And I said,
- 27:33Speaker 2: And so then I got on and now, ok here,
- 27:36Speaker 2: Happy New Year.
- 27:39Speaker 1: So at the stroke of midnight, where were you you
- 27:42Speaker 1: were in Main.

- 28:04Speaker 1: Spirit Spirit.
- 28:06Speaker 7: Yeah, and uh I started on Spirit that I had

- 28:50Speaker 1: Moving on to Christine and parks.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Because you know why, I don't. But you know why, though, Baby,
- 28:55Speaker 7: I decided not to say the Polar Bears. I said, Look,
- 28:58Speaker 7: I could say the Polar Bears. I can say my relationship.
- 29:03Speaker 7: He's you over them, polar bed you know, I'm man God,
- 29:06Speaker 7: he's good.

- 29:10Speaker 9: Yeah all right yeah, Moving on last one to Christine
- 29:14Speaker 9: and Park City. Christine writes, my husband gets us a
- 29:17Speaker 9: couple's massage at a spot that I've never heard of.
- 29:22Speaker 9: The spot was unisex and the women and men were
- 29:24Speaker 9: walking around naked. I can't believe my husband was cool
- 29:27Speaker 9: with this at his age. Is he turning into a
- 29:30Speaker 9: freaky old man? It's she lives in Park City. She
- 29:41Speaker 9: doesn't say, she just says he's older. She does not
- 29:43Speaker 9: give their age.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Old people, there ain't a lot of it is not
- 29:47Speaker 2: a lot of really good look at old people that
- 29:49Speaker 2: need to be naked.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Not only keep your clothes on.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all. It's not a lot, especially barefooted at
- 30:04Speaker 2: the spy. You niked with some heels on it to help.
- 30:06Speaker 2: But if you just flat footed, you know.
- 30:12Speaker 1: The spy will give you shoes, they'll give you slippers.
- 30:15Speaker 2: They give the paper house shoes.
- 30:17Speaker 1: But yeah, but they're not heeled.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yeah, paper rubber. All right, litte jail, my bad.
- 30:27Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:29Speaker 9: some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show.

- 30:58Speaker 9: twenty twenty five How Boy Carter Tour, she joins her
- 31:02Speaker 9: hubby Jay z Rihanna Taylor Smith, and Bruce Springsteen. We
- 31:06Speaker 9: have watched her career, of course, from her early days
- 31:09Speaker 9: with Destiny's Child and then her blossoming solo career and
- 31:13Speaker 9: the crossover into country music last year. There's nothing Beyonce
- 31:18Speaker 9: cannot do, would you agree? And now she's a billionaire on.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Top of it.
- 31:22Speaker 1: We love it, bow down.
- 31:26Speaker 9: She is the Queen got the be yees. A billionaire
- 31:32Speaker 9: now and she was already Yeah I thought she was
- 31:36Speaker 9: already one. But she's a billionaire in her own right.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah? I love that? Yes, Legacy black ex.
- 31:51Speaker 9: Stee, were you okay?
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:52Speaker 2: Because you ain't got that won't be Yeah? What hold?
- 31:59Speaker 9: It is.
- 32:01Speaker 1: God's perfect timing. You know that his time?

- 32:25Speaker 9: using profanity makes you a stronger person?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Did you guys already know this?
- 32:30Speaker 2: I've never heard of this. Wow.
- 32:33Speaker 9: According to research on the Science Today Publication, cursing during
- 32:38Speaker 9: a physical challenge makes you stronger.
- 32:41Speaker 1: This isn't just about blowing off steam.
- 32:43Speaker 9: Cursing or using profanity triggers a state of quote, psychological
- 32:48Speaker 9: flow and confidence that helps the brain bypass hesitation and distraction.
- 32:54Speaker 9: Research show that profanity or cursing is a calorie neutral,
- 32:59Speaker 9: drug free tool that works whenever we need a quick
- 33:02Speaker 9: performance boost.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So here's a question for you guys.
- 33:05Speaker 9: Do you curse when you're doing something strenuous like working
- 33:08Speaker 9: out or and if you do, does it help your performance?
- 33:12Speaker 1: Do you do that work out you're working out?
- 33:14Speaker 2: Cris I mean.
- 33:19Speaker 9: Speaking of sex, cursing during sex? Does that help us?
- 33:22Speaker 9: The second part of the question, does that help your performance?
- 33:26Speaker 2: I think it does helps me though it does sound
- 33:34Speaker 2: like it ask asking what he'd be saying.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Sure, you can't say that if he's cursing.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Come on, Tommy, I use when I'm laughing. That's how
- 33:52Speaker 2: good I use it.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Well, it says it makes you stronger, So there you go.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to cuss when you're working in order
- 34:04Speaker 2: to get that weight up. You're gonna need a couple.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Of You have to curse, Junior, You curse, you have
- 34:09Speaker 1: to when you're working out.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, what do you I.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Mean, are you cursing at someone and you're cursing at
- 34:16Speaker 1: the weights?
- 34:17Speaker 3: What do you what do you doing?
- 34:17Speaker 2: Of course, for somebody to come help me with this weight.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Come get this blankety blank blank.
- 34:30Speaker 2: You see me struggling. Blank, you're looking at man, you
- 34:36Speaker 2: see me, You see me.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And all the while you're getting stronger.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Right, finally, I bet you guys use profanity. Well, Steve
- 34:47Speaker 4: cold plunging.
- 34:49Speaker 2: And you got you got the cuss every every single
- 34:54Speaker 2: time I get in there.
- 34:58Speaker 1: And you're up. Oh yeah, you finished for a while.
- 35:04Speaker 2: The cold plunge in a long time. Yeah, it's been
- 35:08Speaker 2: been mon o cold plunge. Wow.
- 35:12Speaker 9: So so you're you're cursing while you're in there though,
- 35:15Speaker 9: all right, finally we got to shut out to HBCU
- 35:20Speaker 9: Spelman College in Atlanta. Spelman is ranked number one on
- 35:24Speaker 9: Newsweek's first ever list of America's Best Colleges for women.
- 35:29Speaker 1: That is major, Yes, the ranking is yes. Yes, the
- 35:33Speaker 1: ranking is considered a.
- 35:36Speaker 9: Just a school's leadership, pay and policies, safety opportunity, and
- 35:41Speaker 9: the waste state and local politics affects campus environment.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I mean this is wonderful, presumd.
- 35:50Speaker 7: Spelman has produced some outstanding Yes, they are and will
- 36:01Speaker 7: make major contributions in this world we live in. Oh,
- 36:06Speaker 7: it's some bad girls with to Spelman. Then, oh, yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 7: it's some bad girls. I really can't think of a
- 36:12Speaker 7: college that has produced more stellar women than Spellman.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I can't. Well.
- 36:22Speaker 1: News Week agrees with you. Newsweek agrees with you. First
- 36:27Speaker 1: ever America's best college for women. That is great. Number
- 36:33Speaker 1: one on that list, number one. Yeah.
- 36:37Speaker 9: Yeah, And Steeve, you and Marjorie have personally donated to
- 36:42Speaker 9: Spelman and more House for that matter, for years.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Why those two schools.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Well, because they're black and it's important. Yeah, I gave
- 36:53Speaker 2: a dollar to.
- 36:56Speaker 7: My daughters graduated. They started at Hampton and they ended
- 37:00Speaker 7: up at Ohio State. And yeah, it makes no contributions
- 37:05Speaker 7: to Ohio State.
- 37:09Speaker 9: All right, Well, congratulations again to Spelman. Coming up in
- 37:13Speaker 9: twenty minutes after. There's yet another ditty documentary on the way.
- 37:17Speaker 9: We'll talk about that right after this.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Take this.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 38:00Speaker 9: Competing Diddy documentaries currently streaming and in the works now,
- 38:05Speaker 9: Diddy Sons are doing a new docuseries aimed at telling
- 38:08Speaker 9: ditty side of the story.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:10Speaker 9: His sons, Jason Justin and Christian Coombs Colmbs have partnered
- 38:15Speaker 9: with the Zeus Network and have teased a docuseries that
- 38:19Speaker 9: will be released.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Later this year now.
- 38:21Speaker 9: The trailer teased unseen moments with Ditty's trial and its aftermath,
- 38:26Speaker 9: including Ditty's calls from prison at Fort Dix. Are you
- 38:30Speaker 9: guys sure you're ready for another docuseries from Diddy Sons?
- 38:35Speaker 2: What do you think ready?
- 38:39Speaker 7: I think his sons is really qualified for making documentaries,
- 38:45Speaker 7: you know. And here's here's the problem I have with
- 38:48Speaker 7: the documentary that's on Netflix that I saw, because you
- 38:52Speaker 7: know what, the part that stuck out for me, because
- 38:55Speaker 7: I have a minoring program, right, The.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Part that stuck out for me was this was all
- 39:00Speaker 2: footage he had shot himself.
- 39:02Speaker 7: Ain't nobody you know? This was footage they shot this
- 39:05Speaker 7: for them? Ain't nobody sneaking do it. He hides some
- 39:09Speaker 7: people to follow him, So this isn't really, in his
- 39:11Speaker 7: own words, his own doing to be around your sons.
- 39:16Speaker 7: This was the most disappointing thing of that outside of
- 39:20Speaker 7: the Cassie video. When you are engaged with your son
- 39:26Speaker 7: in these types of activities, you're not grooming your son
- 39:30Speaker 7: to take over your business, your business acumen or none
- 39:35Speaker 7: of that. You grooming your son to be you Are
- 39:38Speaker 7: you crazy? Are you out of your mind? You in
- 39:43Speaker 7: here taking shots with.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Your son, doing drugs with your son, in rooms with
- 39:47Speaker 2: women with your son.
- 39:49Speaker 7: Waitmen, man, hold up, what what are you doing as
- 39:54Speaker 7: a father? So that to me, that elluding, even though
- 39:59Speaker 7: they didn't have no footage him in the room with
- 40:01Speaker 7: your son. They coming out of the room. He in
- 40:03Speaker 7: there is women in there and in his drugs and
- 40:08Speaker 7: here you're doing shots. You're doing shots and doing drugs
- 40:11Speaker 7: with your son, man, miss me.
- 40:14Speaker 9: And that's probably why they want to counter, you know,
- 40:17Speaker 9: that docu series with one of their own. Until their
- 40:20Speaker 9: side of it, that's probably why they want to do that.
- 40:22Speaker 2: He told his side this your daddy tapes.
- 40:27Speaker 1: He already told his side.
- 40:32Speaker 7: He said all this this was him on footage he shot.
- 40:39Speaker 7: That's why, man, I don't I don't have no mercy
- 40:41Speaker 7: for this. I just don't have none. And like I said,
- 40:44Speaker 7: the most disturbing thing outside of the video with him
- 40:48Speaker 7: and Cassie because abusing a woman you out of you.
- 40:52Speaker 7: I'm out with you anyway. But when you take your
- 40:55Speaker 7: sons and groom them to be you that I I said, Wow, man,
- 41:02Speaker 7: you you really don't give it about your obligation as
- 41:05Speaker 7: a real man.
- 41:07Speaker 2: No, man, miss me with that.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Well, the docu saries, they say it's coming out later
- 41:11Speaker 1: this year.
- 41:13Speaker 9: All right, coming up next set about thirty four minutes
- 41:16Speaker 9: after the hour, it is sister Odell.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening Dave Hardy Morning Show.
- 41:27Speaker 9: All right, ladies and gentlemen, she is here as first
- 41:30Speaker 9: time for twenty twenty six.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I'm in lone with the lone. Listen, Good Morning's everyone.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Happy? Every Yeah?
- 41:51Speaker 1: Well, ma'am, what's going on?
- 41:54Speaker 9: Well it is a new year, twenty twenty six, Sister Odell.
- 42:00Speaker 9: Your holidays?
- 42:01Speaker 1: What did you do over the holidays? My holidays?
- 42:07Speaker 2: Well, you know, I finally turned out, finally learned how
- 42:12Speaker 2: to put on Oh what's next this?
- 42:17Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, girl, I've been watching that all puffect thing,
- 42:24Speaker 7: that thing on Puffy documentary, recognizing Puffy whatever reckon?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Uh huh, yeah, the recognized.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I watched that.
- 42:37Speaker 7: I was I couldn't, I couldn't quit watching it at
- 42:39Speaker 7: this amazing what's wrong with him?
- 42:44Speaker 2: I didn't understand that it.
- 42:46Speaker 9: Was so much in there that thrusfrusing to me, cons
- 42:52Speaker 9: about sister DLL, what is it?
- 42:55Speaker 7: I still didn't know what is All of them was
- 42:58Speaker 7: at the a freakis at the freaking Fridays.
- 43:02Speaker 2: What was they having?
- 43:03Speaker 9: Freak off the freaking free don't see what everybody was
- 43:08Speaker 9: on in that?
- 43:09Speaker 2: Though everybody was on in there. Hear what I learned
- 43:12Speaker 2: about it?
- 43:12Speaker 7: Though, this was the most confusing thing of all his men,
- 43:17Speaker 7: the little sex worker that they.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Were flying in the guy.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 43:23Speaker 7: I guess anybody can be a sex worker. Sure, I
- 43:27Speaker 7: guess it looks ain't important because Lord have mercy, that's

- 47:17Speaker 2: I'm trying to reach your sister. How you doing. I'm
- 47:21Speaker 2: giving you a call on behalf of Baptist Church. You
- 47:25Speaker 2: are a member there? Am I right?
- 47:27Speaker 7: Yes?
- 47:27Speaker 10: I am?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Okay, listen, I'm calling you.
- 47:31Speaker 11: They they some of the members have gotten together and
- 47:34Speaker 11: had a meeting and wanted me to give you a call.
- 47:38Speaker 2: It seems that.
- 47:41Speaker 11: A lot of them are complaining about Sunday services that
- 47:44Speaker 11: go on and wanted for me to give you a
- 47:47Speaker 11: call on their behalf so that we can see if
- 47:50Speaker 11: we can address the problem and talk to you diligently
- 47:53Speaker 11: as possible and try to get the problem rectified.
- 47:56Speaker 12: What's going on.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Well, it seems like that a lot of members are complaining.
- 48:03Speaker 12: I'm sorry, And what is your name again?
- 48:06Speaker 2: My name is ma'am uh. I'm not actually a member
- 48:09Speaker 2: of the church.
- 48:10Speaker 11: I've just been the one that been asked to give
- 48:12Speaker 11: you a call and try to talk on the members'
- 48:14Speaker 11: behalf so maybe we can get this problem rectified that
- 48:17Speaker 11: you that they have.
- 48:19Speaker 2: As far as you are concerned.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Now, okay, go ahead.
- 48:21Speaker 12: Well, I'm just trying to see what this is in
- 48:23Speaker 12: regards to go ahead.
- 48:24Speaker 11: Well, it seems like the members of the church are
- 48:27Speaker 11: complaining about that you're doing too much shouting at church
- 48:32Speaker 11: on Sunday, and it seems to be going on every Sunday.
- 48:35Speaker 11: You're running up and down the aisle and you shouting
- 48:37Speaker 11: all over the place, and it's me.
- 48:40Speaker 12: I've been singled out about my shouting. Is that what
- 48:43Speaker 12: you're saying?
- 48:44Speaker 2: Well, ever, then it's distracting, ma'am.
- 48:46Speaker 11: You're distracting everyone from getting the word and listening to
- 48:48Speaker 11: the word and being involved in the service.
- 48:51Speaker 2: And that's the purpose of the call is to see
- 48:53Speaker 2: if we can get you to tone it down some.
- 48:56Speaker 12: Okay, So the whole church is complaining about me shouting
- 48:58Speaker 12: the way people run up and down in the house
- 49:01Speaker 12: every Sunday and almost turning cart wheels and flips, and
- 49:04Speaker 12: they singling me, I complained about me.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Well, ma'am, I don't know how it.
- 49:09Speaker 11: Is that you can see everybody else doing cart wheels
- 49:11Speaker 11: when you're the ones that they say is the one
- 49:13Speaker 11: that's doing them.
- 49:15Speaker 12: How am I being singled out?
- 49:16Speaker 2: Man?
- 49:17Speaker 11: All I'm saying is is that they saying that you're
- 49:19Speaker 11: doing too much shouting and too much running at this church.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Now I'm just the message.
- 49:24Speaker 12: Well, they can't tell me how to shout, then they
- 49:26Speaker 12: can't tell me what's going on.
- 49:27Speaker 7: In my life?
- 49:28Speaker 12: What's gonna keep me from praising God? And they, I mean,
- 49:31Speaker 12: they could just they can go somewhere else with that,
- 49:33Speaker 12: But they're not gonna tell me that I can't praise
- 49:35Speaker 12: my God. They don't know how good God has.
- 49:37Speaker 5: Been to me.
- 49:38Speaker 11: And you know what, I understand that I agree with
- 49:40Speaker 11: you wholeheartedly, but it's becoming a distraction. I mean, they
- 49:45Speaker 11: was at the point last night talking about should we
- 49:47Speaker 11: put some seat belts on the pews so you can
- 49:50Speaker 11: stay down.
- 49:50Speaker 12: We will put some seat but only gonna tell people
- 49:53Speaker 12: they can't shout in church and praise God. What can
- 49:55Speaker 12: we come to church?
- 49:56Speaker 2: Farm? Will you do?
- 49:57Speaker 3: Come to You need to be.
- 49:58Speaker 12: Trying to praise God and get their I don't shout
- 50:00Speaker 12: on and stop looking at me and worrying about what
- 50:02Speaker 12: I'm doing.
- 50:02Speaker 2: We gonna need you to quit running up and down
- 50:05Speaker 2: these aisles.
- 50:05Speaker 12: And doing what I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying to
- 50:09Speaker 12: stay calm. I'm trying my best Jesus, She sir, that
- 50:13Speaker 12: that's not happening. You can't tell me I gotta stop shouting.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Okay, man, but let me ask you. Are you running now?
- 50:19Speaker 2: Aren't you just standing still?
- 50:20Speaker 3: Talking?
- 50:20Speaker 12: But I don't have to run right now?
- 50:23Speaker 2: Okay, what I'm trying to get you to do?
- 50:25Speaker 12: Like this, I want to run up and down this
- 50:26Speaker 12: street right now. I can run up and down the
- 50:28Speaker 12: street and prase God. But they're not gonna tell me
- 50:30Speaker 12: to stop shouting at church?
- 50:31Speaker 2: Can we get you to be a little bit more
- 50:33Speaker 2: reserved as what we see?
- 50:34Speaker 11: Man? Let me let me go ahead and go further
- 50:36Speaker 11: on what they do, how the spirit moves.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Okay, well, let me move and tell you what they've
- 50:43Speaker 2: told me.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Now.
- 50:45Speaker 11: If we can't get to the point where you can,
- 50:47Speaker 11: you know, tone it down, then we may have to
- 50:49Speaker 11: ask you to leave.
- 50:52Speaker 12: Ask me, ooj Jesus, Jesus, you ask me. Why would
- 50:58Speaker 12: they want me to leave a church? I've been at
- 51:00Speaker 12: that church for fifteen years. I'm not leaving the church.
- 51:03Speaker 12: I'm gonna run up and down. I'm not gonna run
- 51:05Speaker 12: on the church. I turn me some flips. Where am
- 51:08Speaker 12: I I feel like it?
- 51:10Speaker 1: No?
- 51:10Speaker 2: No, listen, that's all.
- 51:12Speaker 12: I'm okay, go ahead, but I'm gonna be there.
- 51:15Speaker 11: I'm going to I am going to be there on Sunday,
- 51:18Speaker 11: Mail and I have been the person that's been appointed
- 51:21Speaker 11: to make sure that you're not running up and down
- 51:23Speaker 11: these hous and shotting like this. You got to keep
- 51:25Speaker 11: yourself reserved so people can hear the word of God.
- 51:28Speaker 11: You are standing in people's word. That's what you're doing.
- 51:31Speaker 2: You in the whale.
- 51:31Speaker 12: I want. If they come trying to send me down,
- 51:33Speaker 12: I'm gonna give them a word. And it ain't gonna
- 51:35Speaker 12: be your guard. So let's you put that hands up
- 51:37Speaker 12: on me here. No, listen, I'm telling you that now.
- 51:40Speaker 12: You could say, I'm to have been in that church
- 51:42Speaker 12: fifteen years. If I want to run and dance, shout, jump, cray,
- 51:45Speaker 12: whatever I want to do, I'm gonna do it. It
- 51:47Speaker 12: ain't nobody gonna stop me.
- 51:49Speaker 2: You're gonna have to stop this.
- 51:51Speaker 11: This past Sunday was your last Sunday doing it, and

- 56:47Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 56:48Speaker 9: Subject we were nude when we met. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:53Speaker 9: I am a thirty one year old single man. I'm
- 56:55Speaker 9: six four and I work up five days a week,
- 56:58Speaker 9: so I'm in great physical condition. I am a doctor
- 57:01Speaker 9: now and I come from a large family. So to
- 57:04Speaker 9: put myself through medical school, I worked as a male
- 57:07Speaker 9: dancer and porn star, and I was able to make
- 57:10Speaker 9: a lot of money. Sex was never a problem for me,
- 57:16Speaker 9: and when I worked, I was having sex up to
- 57:19Speaker 9: five times a day with all kinds of voluptuous women.
- 57:23Speaker 9: I didn't think much about sex because it was my job.
- 57:26Speaker 9: All of that changed when I met a new girl
- 57:29Speaker 9: at work. She walked onto the set and we both
- 57:32Speaker 9: were nude, and she had the most beautiful body I'd
- 57:36Speaker 9: ever seen. She was a veteran in the industry, and
- 57:39Speaker 9: I was intrigued that she wanted to work with me.
- 57:43Speaker 9: We had sex on camera and it was instant chemistry.
- 57:47Speaker 9: It was like we were made for each other. Sex
- 57:51Speaker 9: didn't mean much to her either. Steve, You're gonna love
- 57:55Speaker 9: this line, but she had to admit that I was
- 57:58Speaker 9: very good at what I did.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Come on, boy.
- 58:02Speaker 9: We ended up being friends with benefits, and that's all
- 58:06Speaker 9: we could be since she was married. There's also an
- 58:09Speaker 9: age difference she's older, but that never mattered to her,
- 58:13Speaker 9: and we have been in our situationship for over six years.
- 58:18Speaker 1: To this day.
- 58:20Speaker 9: I'm still under her spell. She is not happy in
- 58:23Speaker 9: her marriage, but she told me she'd never get a
- 58:26Speaker 9: divorce because her husband always supported her. Lifestyle, and he
- 58:30Speaker 9: has been good to her. I love her too, and
- 58:33Speaker 9: I want to be with her.
- 58:34Speaker 2: I do too.
- 58:35Speaker 1: You love her too, Junior.
- 58:37Speaker 9: I'm thinking about moving to a neighboring city to get
- 58:40Speaker 9: a fresh start. But I'm afraid she will forget about me.
- 58:43Speaker 9: Am I crazy to think she might have a change
- 58:45Speaker 9: of heart and want me? Uncle Steve? Should I start
- 58:48Speaker 9: dating other women or should I keep shooting my shot
- 58:52Speaker 9: with her? Well, you know we're going to tell you,
- 58:55Speaker 9: at least I am, stop shooting your shot with her.
- 58:59Speaker 9: You know we're going to tell you to leave this
- 59:01Speaker 9: married woman, of course, because that is the right thing
- 59:03Speaker 9: to do. Everybody says they're not happy in their marriage
- 59:07Speaker 9: when you're dating them. Yeah, everyone says that when when
- 59:10Speaker 9: they're in an affair, they're not happy in their marriage.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Everybody says that.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Who here you tell to say it?
- 59:18Speaker 9: Did?
- 59:23Speaker 2: I just say?
- 59:24Speaker 4: Yes?
- 59:24Speaker 2: You did? Yes? You did?
- 59:26Speaker 1: All going on? Be quiet? Okay, be quiet? Just because
- 59:31Speaker 1: we're talking about naked people. You think you can get
- 59:33Speaker 1: in the letter?
- 59:34Speaker 2: All right?
- 59:35Speaker 9: I definitely think you should go ahead and move to

- 1:06:10Speaker 7: we could be since and here where Shirley started getting

- 1:19:11Speaker 9: state the paper straws are mandatory in bars and restaurants
- 1:19:14Speaker 9: in Florida. Senator Bradley cited new research that found that
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: paper straws contain chemicals that have been linked to serious
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: health concerns. She's introduced legislation to do away with paper
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: straws and go back to using plastic straws.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: So what do you feel about this?
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: Do you guys prefer paper straws or do you prefer

- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: Oh, I've been at home, or I've been in a
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: hotel one of the two.

- 1:24:32Speaker 9: That's today's round of would you rather? Coming up next?

- 1:24:38Speaker 9: Harvey right after this.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: Hey, it's Carla Ferrol. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean in

- 1:25:20Speaker 9: It's been a good day. It's been a fun day.
- 1:25:23Speaker 9: Thank you to our audience for listening. As always, we
- 1:25:26Speaker 9: appreciate your business. Junior, you got a question to take
- 1:25:29Speaker 9: us out?
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:25:30Speaker 14: Oh sure do unh for Steve hey Man, you know Unk,
- 1:25:33Speaker 14: You know you always talk about being positive New Year.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: You know we can be positive right now.
- 1:25:38Speaker 14: Stay in it, stay in the game, stay in this fight.
- 1:25:41Speaker 14: Understanding you know we can be better. How we come
- 1:25:43Speaker 14: better now? Just hope us working on being better. Some
- 1:25:46Speaker 14: things we can do right now at the top of
- 1:25:48Speaker 14: the year.
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: Well, I mean being better is a conscious decision. Everybody
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: can improve. All you have to do is make the
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: decision to improve. Stop first, stop waiting on the perfect
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: time because that may not come. Stop waiting to get
- 1:26:07Speaker 7: a lot of people, certain people to agree with you.
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: That's not necessary. Align yourself with God and going about
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: your business. And the first one is you know if
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: the first one was, just do it now, don't stop stop,
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: stop procrastinating. That's the word I'm looking for. Yeah, stop
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: all that and just do it now. Stay up, possitibvey
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: and understand that things are going to happen along the way.
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: Don't let nothing stop you because things are going to
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: happen along the way. And just because something happens along
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: the way, and to accomplishing your dreams and goals, it
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: doesn't mean it's not meant to be. It's just a
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: test along the way. It's never going to be smooth
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: sailing anywhere to what you're trying to do or accomplish.
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: There's no such thing as smooth sailing. So buckle up,
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: get ready for the ride. Twenty twenty six will be
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: a great year if you claim it to be now.
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: It doesn't mean that won't nothing happen in twenty twenty
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: six because I can assure you it will, but it
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: can still be a great year.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: But in the event that.
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: Something does happen that goes contraary to your plans, in
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: the event that something does happen that throws you a
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: bit off course, whatever it is, stand still, pray about it,
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: deal with it, get up and move on, and that that's.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: The only way to be.
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: Somebody asked me, matter of fact, just yesterday, I was
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: in a meeting yesterday and one of the people after
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: the meeting said, mister Harvey, can I ask you a question?
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: I said yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: They said, what would you say is your strongest attribute?
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: And you know what I told them. I said, I
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: have mastered suffering. I know how to suffer extremely well.
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: And then the lady there said, well, that doesn't sound nice.
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: I said, well, no, it's actually a good thing to do.
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: I I've suffered enough while I understand suffering, and I
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: know how to wait this out. And it don't mean
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: I like suffering. It's just that I understand that while
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: I'm suffering, I know that this too shall pass, and
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: so I have learned the patience required to get you
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: through the suffering. Everybody suffers at some point in time,
- 1:28:56Speaker 7: and everybody has gotten over the thing that they've suffered from.
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: But doesn't that give you a moment of pause to
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: go wild?
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: I can do this. Wow, you know I can actually
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: be okay. I can make it. And that's why I
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: say I've mastered the art of suffering. That's one of
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: my greatest astributes. I know when things are not going
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: my way, when things are going completely wrong, that this
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: too shall pass. I also know that God got me.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: I also know that he has never left me. I
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: also know that this is a test of my faith,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: and so I just deal with it. And that's been
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: one of my strongest attributes. I've just mastered the art
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: of suffering. Now, some people talking about what you don't
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: know what I'm suffering with. That's a very true statement.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: But what you're gonna do though, you're gonna give up.
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: And Junior, you of all people should understand this better
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: than anybody probably on this show.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: The life you have lived should have proven to you
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: the strength that God has given you. He's given you
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: a crazy, crazy ability. Most people will give up with
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: your condition. You stay in the fight, and I mean
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: you suffer, man, but you know how to suffer.
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: And it's crazy to say that, but man, just being
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: able to hang in there till it passes, that's a
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: valuable asset, man.
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: And if you could do that, then you should be
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: able to do this. See, some people don't know how
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: to carry over their blessings into each other. Some people
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: don't know how to carry over their attributes into all situations.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: If you're good at really handling a hard situation, you
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: should take that thing that you do to handle that
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: and apply it to everything. Come on, man, that's that's
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: the lesson that we have to learn. And sometimes we
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: got to keep letting it happen over and over and over.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: And so instead of you going, oh woe is me?
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: What about? Thank you God? I got this? Thank you God.
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: I went to the doctor. I had a doctor's appointment.
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: I was really concerned about something. I've been praying about
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: it and praying about it. When I got to the
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: doctor's office.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: I had a version of it, but not the bad version.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: I walked out of the doctor's office saying, thank you Lord,
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: I got this because he's gotten me through everything else.
- 1:31:42Speaker 7: This too shall pass. Twenty twenty six be a good
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: year for me. I'm ready, let's go y'all have a
- 1:31:50Speaker 7: good one. Talk to God today. He absolutely loved to

- 1:33:37Speaker 2: Good morning, Illinois.
- 1:33:38Speaker 19: Congressman Mike Quickly says he can accomplish more as mayor
- 1:33:41Speaker 19: Chicago than as a US representative. The lawmaker announced last
- 1:33:45Speaker 19: week that he would run in the race to unseat
- 1:33:47Speaker 19: Mayor Brandon Johnson. Quickly in a recent interview says the
- 1:33:51Speaker 19: statement from City Halls fifth floor that crime is down,
- 1:33:54Speaker 19: does not factor in the crime rate compared to other cities.
- 1:33:58Speaker 19: He says there are better solutions the violence interrupters.
- 1:34:02Speaker 14: Groups like Arnie Duncan's Chicago Cred have shown real progress,
- 1:34:07Speaker 14: and we're probably gonna need additional officers.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: We're two thousand down.
- 1:34:11Speaker 19: Quickly also says his plan for the city's finances does
- 1:34:15Speaker 19: not include raising taxes. He says making cuts to city
