- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turning. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out, then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your tha uhh, I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now want and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show, man on man on man. I just
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have to tell you this. How good is the
- 2:22Speaker 1: god I served? How amazing is he here? It is?
- 2:33Speaker 1: It is your determination and your effort. Listen to me carefully.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It is your determination and your effort. I think that
- 2:46Speaker 1: the average person, and I'm not knocking you, I just
- 2:49Speaker 1: want you to hear me out. I think what stops
- 2:52Speaker 1: the average person from becoming successful is that we don't
- 2:56Speaker 1: realize the effort that it takes. And that's just truth.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I found that to be so true in my life
- 3:05Speaker 1: and my talking to people and meeting people, and people
- 3:08Speaker 1: aren't asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 3:10Speaker 1: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 3:15Speaker 1: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This is the thing that you have to wrap your
- 3:23Speaker 1: mind around very quickly if you want to be successful
- 3:27Speaker 1: on any level, in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 3:35Speaker 1: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 3:44Speaker 1: If you are a person who is always concerned about sleep,
- 3:48Speaker 1: get success out your mind. A fit to happen partner
- 3:52Speaker 1: is not fit to happen. You cannot be that concerned
- 3:56Speaker 1: about sleep. Now listen to me. You have to get
- 3:59Speaker 1: your rest. But this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing
- 4:04Speaker 1: you with what how I did it. My philosophy was
- 4:08Speaker 1: I stopped being concerned about sleep. I got my rest,
- 4:14Speaker 1: but I got just enough to get back to it,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and I got back on the grind to hop into hustle.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I got just enough rest so I could go and
- 4:26Speaker 1: put forth some more effort. But listen to me, you
- 4:31Speaker 1: cannot sleep a third of your life away and expect
- 4:34Speaker 1: to become successful if you're not already successful. If you
- 4:38Speaker 1: are asleep for eight hours. That is a third of
- 4:41Speaker 1: your day. You cannot be asleep a third of your
- 4:44Speaker 1: life and expect to get successful. Not after you get successful.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, you learn as you go to work smarter,
- 4:53Speaker 1: not harder. So as you get successful, you may have
- 4:57Speaker 1: eight hours available to you. But on the way up there,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I don't see how you can do it. I promise you.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't now don't. Maybe somebody can come forward. I
- 5:05Speaker 1: did it out. Yeah, probably lying, But okay, tell your story,
- 5:10Speaker 1: because everybody I know that's successful that I've sat down
- 5:14Speaker 1: ahead real talks with it wasn't concerned with sleeping. You
- 5:20Speaker 1: cannot be concerned with sleeping if you want to be successful.
- 5:24Speaker 1: How how can this happen for you? Listen to me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The effort that it requires is massive. It's an all
- 5:31Speaker 1: out of salt on your dream. Now you got to
- 5:34Speaker 1: make an assault. It's requires and all out of sault
- 5:38Speaker 1: on it. And you can't be sleeping. Fight at the
- 5:40Speaker 1: same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: wish I could get y'all understand this right here. Understand
- 5:48Speaker 1: that the effort that is required to be successful will
- 5:51Speaker 1: take everything you have. And when you think you've given
- 5:54Speaker 1: your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality of
- 6:00Speaker 1: your chill is amazing. See that's okay. Listen, what they
- 6:04Speaker 1: is sitting around having a bill every day fault? What what?
- 6:08Speaker 1: What they're sitting around smoking weed for every day? Fault?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Come on, man, for real, But if you took that beer,
- 6:16Speaker 1: drinking weed smoking chill time and apply it to progressing
- 6:20Speaker 1: yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out a vacation,
- 6:26Speaker 1: guess where you be able to go. Guess what part
- 6:29Speaker 1: of the world you can go. See guess how you
- 6:31Speaker 1: can chill Now Now I'm instead of you just driving
- 6:34Speaker 1: Every year your family to family union, sit at the
- 6:36Speaker 1: same picnic table. Everybody pull their money in. Ten families
- 6:41Speaker 1: don't never pull they money in. They down there eating
- 6:43Speaker 1: like y'all eating. You got attitude because the day or
- 6:47Speaker 1: they side don't ever chip in, and no they down
- 6:49Speaker 1: they eating extra potatoes. That making places. You're not arguing
- 6:52Speaker 1: about this every year for real, man, they ain't got
- 6:55Speaker 1: the T shirt money. You know they got to say
- 6:58Speaker 1: a T shirt, don't. They ain't put in really, man,
- 7:01Speaker 1: so so so so so you want that to be
- 7:04Speaker 1: it every year? Or do you want this year I'm
- 7:08Speaker 1: taking my family to New Orleans, or I'm taking my
- 7:11Speaker 1: family see the Grand Canyon. I'm taking my family down
- 7:14Speaker 1: to the beach this year, and me and my family
- 7:16Speaker 1: gonna go sight See. We're gonna go ride Coup the
- 7:19Speaker 1: River on Chicago. Me and my family gonna go skiing
- 7:22Speaker 1: this year, and me and my family going out to
- 7:24Speaker 1: La Man, We're gon We're gonna go out there for
- 7:26Speaker 1: the weekend. You know, you know it can happen like that.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But if you ain't working, listen to me. Average effort
- 7:35Speaker 1: gets average results. See. Ordinary effort gets ordinary results. But
- 7:46Speaker 1: if you put forth an extra effort. See, the only
- 7:50Speaker 1: difference between extraordinary and ordinary is one word, that's extra.
- 7:54Speaker 1: If you do extra, you can take ordinary right on
- 7:58Speaker 1: over to extraordinary. Do you understand you have to have
- 8:02Speaker 1: a massive assault on your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man,
- 8:05Speaker 1: trying to chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I
- 8:08Speaker 1: wish I could tell you another way, but it ain't one.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I didn't talk to jay Z about this. I didn't
- 8:13Speaker 1: talk Samuel all about this. I didn't talked to said
- 8:15Speaker 1: about this. I didn't talk I have talked to the
- 8:18Speaker 1: President of the United States. I've had a conversation with
- 8:22Speaker 1: him about his effort. You look at this. You cannot
- 8:27Speaker 1: become successful with our effort. You cannot be concerned about sleep.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Here's what I did. Now, you can take it from me,
- 8:37Speaker 1: or you can try it your way. But when you
- 8:39Speaker 1: get through trying it, this is what you're gonna have
- 8:41Speaker 1: to do. I wasn't concerned about how much sleep I got.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I just had to get my rest. And once I
- 8:48Speaker 1: got enough rest to get up and get the task done,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I got up. Somebody sent me a tweet the other day,
- 8:58Speaker 1: a partner of mine. He's someone to see if I
- 9:01Speaker 1: can pull it up while I'm talking to you. But
- 9:03Speaker 1: he just sent me a little sign. Just wasn't nothing,
- 9:05Speaker 1: just a little something to say, Hey man, I ran
- 9:08Speaker 1: across this, I thought about you, and I sent it
- 9:10Speaker 1: to you. It said, no alarm clock needed, My passion
- 9:15Speaker 1: wakes me. He said, no alarm clock needed, my passion
- 9:22Speaker 1: wakes me. That's what you got to be about. You
- 9:27Speaker 1: gotta take that dream. You gotta get passionate about it,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and you gotta get awake, and you got to get
- 9:32Speaker 1: up and get at it, and you gotta put forth
- 9:34Speaker 1: a massive assault on your dream. Your effort has got
- 9:37Speaker 1: to be extraordinary. If you put forth extraordinary, if you
- 9:40Speaker 1: put forth extra effort, you go from ordinary to extraordinary.
- 9:45Speaker 1: That's the deal. You think it's another way. If you
- 9:48Speaker 1: got another way, could you please email it to me,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey doctor, let me know so I can slow down.
- 9:54Speaker 1: So I don't know no other way. All right, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening Morning show, Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, people, animals, everybody,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and especially those of you who are in need of information.

- 11:19Speaker 1: Let's get it, Uncle Steve, let's get it. Yeah, it's
- 11:22Speaker 1: good with uh. Well, you know, man, I'm good man.
- 11:26Speaker 1: It's kind of crazy in my house because I live
- 11:28Speaker 1: with the president of the Center for Disease Control. I
- 11:36Speaker 1: can't do a damn thing in here. I'm so sick
- 11:38Speaker 1: of washing my damn hands with second why I lived
- 11:47Speaker 1: with the president of the Center for Disease Control, I'm
- 11:51Speaker 1: telling you, man, she on the internet. Man, Damn, I
- 11:57Speaker 1: gotta get out of here, man, can you not dog?
- 12:05Speaker 1: I did that, and I had a corona test next morning.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I caught that night because I was on family feud,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and I made myself real horse and my voice was thickly.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So at night I called. I came back out the bathroom.
- 12:21Speaker 1: She's sitting straight up with the computer and a lap.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Next thing I know, I had a dude, give me
- 12:26Speaker 1: a corona testing. Next morning, six in swabs stuck straight
- 12:30Speaker 1: up through my nose, touched back of my eyes. Wow,
- 12:34Speaker 1: And as you and family feud has been canceled. Are
- 12:39Speaker 1: you serious? Man? I'm just I'm just I thought you
- 12:43Speaker 1: were already um audience free and you're just doing it. Dog.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They started that and then they called back and it's off.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Family Feud production has been suspended. Love Ellen stopped her show,
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yes she did. Yeah, man, so we're all for a month. Wow. Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 1: oh man. Yeah, and you know what, that's safe though, Man,
- 13:10Speaker 1: that's really it's safe. It's safe. You you want to overreact,
- 13:16Speaker 1: even if we are doing that to protect each other,
- 13:20Speaker 1: better than not doing it. Hell now I did pay
- 13:24Speaker 1: when I turned the corner, Jake, he says about it. Wow. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: all right, Well you get up talking about what got
- 13:33Speaker 1: canceled this weekend. Well, we're gonna start the show off.
- 13:39Speaker 1: We're gonna talk more about the coronavirus right after this.
- 13:42Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty two. Alfri, you're listening. So
- 13:47Speaker 1: the coronavirus pandemic has changed everything. Daily life as we
- 13:53Speaker 1: know it has come to a halt. The total number
- 13:56Speaker 1: of Hi, who would you say, Tommy, No, go ahead,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm just let me let me say this, let me
- 14:02Speaker 1: say this. My my show, uh could not happen on
- 14:06Speaker 1: Saturday night in Montgomery, Alabama. So postponed until we let
- 14:10Speaker 1: you know when it's gonna be. But Montgomery, when when,
- 14:13Speaker 1: when it lets up, it will happen. But it happened
- 14:17Speaker 1: to me this weekend. I thought I was flying out
- 14:19Speaker 1: to Montgomery this weekend, and it did not happen. It
- 14:21Speaker 1: did not. But but for the safety, I truly understand.
- 14:25Speaker 1: For the safety, I get it. Yeah, for the safety,
- 14:27Speaker 1: cancel my Eventually I was gonna be in Savannable, you know, yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 1: you know understandably this sorry, President Trump, Yeah, yeah, He's
- 14:37Speaker 1: declared a national emergency. There's states, you know, we've been
- 14:40Speaker 1: watching the news and states across the country or temporary
- 14:44Speaker 1: closing schools, including now the nation's largest school district in
- 14:49Speaker 1: New York City, over you know, a million children in
- 14:53Speaker 1: the school district system in New York City. They have
- 14:56Speaker 1: now shut down schools. The Federal Reserve last night cut
- 15:00Speaker 1: interest rates to support the economy during the outbreak. Multiple
- 15:05Speaker 1: governors from Illinois, New Jersey, New York has ordered closures
- 15:08Speaker 1: of bars and restaurants and just you know, be open
- 15:12Speaker 1: maybe for food deliveries. There are cruise ships that are
- 15:16Speaker 1: stranded at sea searching for ports of jury but have
- 15:21Speaker 1: been denied because of confirmed passengers with the coronavirus cases
- 15:27Speaker 1: on board the ship. The President has also asked Americans
- 15:30Speaker 1: to stop hoarding groceries and other supplies and getting tested
- 15:36Speaker 1: for the coronavirus. It just remains difficult. You can stop
- 15:42Speaker 1: telling people to quit hoarding. That's nothing to happen if
- 15:47Speaker 1: everything is shut You got restaurants shutting down. Are you listening,
- 15:50Speaker 1: mister president. If you shut down restaurants and you shut
- 15:55Speaker 1: down schools, and New York City is about to close restaurants,
- 15:58Speaker 1: that is a dangerous lay out here of the restaurant's
- 16:01Speaker 1: being closed. What are you talking about? Don't accord. Now
- 16:06Speaker 1: here's what I think it's going to have to happen.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I think people will be a little bit more relaxed
- 16:13Speaker 1: when these high profile cases Tom Hanks are Rudy Gobert,
- 16:19Speaker 1: Mitchell Donovan players, When some of these high profile players
- 16:26Speaker 1: in a couple of weeks are back to normal, I
- 16:29Speaker 1: think that's gonna help a little bit because right now,
- 16:32Speaker 1: the fear is that it's a death sentence. If you
- 16:35Speaker 1: get it, that's not the truth. And if it goes
- 16:38Speaker 1: untreated and you have a pre existing conditions according to
- 16:42Speaker 1: the CDC, especially if you have respiratory ailments of any
- 16:46Speaker 1: cat or weakened immune system. This can't get really really
- 16:50Speaker 1: bad for you. But I think as we see some
- 16:53Speaker 1: people and start hearing from people who are handling it
- 16:57Speaker 1: and are surviving it, I think that's gonna boost a
- 17:00Speaker 1: morale quite a bit in my opinion. This is just
- 17:04Speaker 1: my opinion, Volk. This is not from the CDC. This
- 17:07Speaker 1: is just Steve Harvey's opinion that morale could get boosted
- 17:11Speaker 1: when you start seeing that some people have survived some
- 17:14Speaker 1: success stories. Yes, yeah, well, and then you think about
- 17:17Speaker 1: the total number of global cases have surpassed one hundred
- 17:21Speaker 1: and fifty thousand people that have the coronavirus, more than
- 17:25Speaker 1: five thousand and seven hundred fatalities, and the number is
- 17:30Speaker 1: you know, going up. But seventy three thousand patients have
- 17:35Speaker 1: reported to have recovered from the disease. This looks like
- 17:40Speaker 1: you're saying, Steve, yeah, yeah, that's this is what we've
- 17:43Speaker 1: got to get the panic out of us about it.
- 17:46Speaker 1: And that's worldwide number. It's not a death sentence. Now
- 17:50Speaker 1: they're reacting to try to get a control of it,
- 17:53Speaker 1: and you still gotta take you know, precautionary measures, and
- 17:57Speaker 1: you gotta be careful and you gotta be smart, you know,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and you have to do the very simple things avoid
- 18:04Speaker 1: uh you know, you know, confrontations and contact with groups
- 18:08Speaker 1: of people. Uh, you know. And you've got yeah, absolutely,
- 18:14Speaker 1: and you've got if they say you don't have that
- 18:21Speaker 1: longer arm time, don't wor up junior. You know, biot
- 18:26Speaker 1: in the middle of no crisis, You're not gonna do.
- 18:30Speaker 1: You know what It's like this, It's like, I'm really
- 18:35Speaker 1: okay now now what I do want to do is
- 18:39Speaker 1: go play golf. I want to go play golf. I
- 18:41Speaker 1: got some time off and like I'm then went crazy
- 18:45Speaker 1: in my house because I kid y'all not. I live
- 18:47Speaker 1: with the president of the Center for Disease Control, Marjorie
- 18:52Speaker 1: Staying for all in she too damn in form the president.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm just tired of this hill Man, Steve face, it's
- 19:02Speaker 1: my damn face. I mean, you're gonna say it, Steve
- 19:04Speaker 1: gonna say it, though, let me gonna say it. Listen,
- 19:07Speaker 1: we're gonna have to you know, we ain't got nothing
- 19:09Speaker 1: to watch on TV. We're gonna have to up. It's
- 19:12Speaker 1: loving in the in these houses. We got to that
- 19:15Speaker 1: ain't happening. Timmy that's the biggest bread. We gonna have
- 19:18Speaker 1: to take it. Shut down because wow, it is. Why
- 19:24Speaker 1: why shut down? It's too much on our mind? Ain'tbody
- 19:30Speaker 1: all timmy, You ain't been tested. You tested, That's what
- 19:38Speaker 1: I just said. Ain't nobody got time. There's too much
- 19:40Speaker 1: on my mind. You see that right there? Right, that's
- 19:44Speaker 1: somebody that don't want to work with us. To work
- 19:46Speaker 1: with us women, women have to be in a certain
- 19:49Speaker 1: frame of mind. Women ain't like you. You just want
- 19:52Speaker 1: it just to feel better. No, they have to feel
- 19:54Speaker 1: better to want it to be difference of thanking here son,
- 20:03Speaker 1: all right, I ain't even bought it up. I'm gonna
- 20:11Speaker 1: get cussed out about it. All right, Well, we gotta go.
- 20:14Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about this all morning. Long time to
- 20:16Speaker 1: switch gears and lap it up. Church complaints, motown deaf
- 20:20Speaker 1: jam in the building. Right after this, you're listening to
- 20:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:26Speaker 1: the hour. Miss Anne is standing by with today's national news.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It is a busy day for miss Anne. Plus no
- 20:34Speaker 1: charges for former Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillham. He was
- 20:39Speaker 1: drunk at a Miami hotel. Did y'all hear about this.
- 20:42Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about it that I heard about it,
- 20:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff in the room, to a lot
- 20:50Speaker 1: of a lot of people, a lot of people. Well,
- 20:53Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about these stories at the top of
- 20:54Speaker 1: the hour in the next hour. But first it's just Monday,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and we need to laugh. We need some laughter right now.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Motown jam we just moaning gravel or experductially, no experdentially.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I have learned yourself something. Now listen, these complaints is
- 21:25Speaker 1: gonna be shot and away from one another. Don't get
- 21:29Speaker 1: up on me, deacon. Yeah, because we're gonna honor the
- 21:35Speaker 1: distractivity of how close we should be in confinemental quarters.
- 21:42Speaker 1: All this in honor of the Corona Novice, the Corona
- 21:49Speaker 1: Novice that if the coronavirus is what it is, excuse me,
- 21:58Speaker 1: do you have it? No, I don't have it. Do
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know what it is? Well, I've been reading, but
- 22:07Speaker 1: you know what that's because you have not. Okay, Now
- 22:12Speaker 1: let's get old with the complaints, all right. I need
- 22:16Speaker 1: you to cover from me on this. The church is
- 22:18Speaker 1: upset with me because they asked me, I couldn't the
- 22:21Speaker 1: church supply water during the time of need. I told
- 22:25Speaker 1: them yes, And when they showed up Saturday morning, I
- 22:30Speaker 1: gave them water holes water. Now, ain't nothing wrong with
- 22:34Speaker 1: waterholes water. So Brother Darnill Chase took a shot at
- 22:39Speaker 1: me because we didn't have Oldza water. He swung on me,
- 22:43Speaker 1: but he missed. But I gave them water holes water.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Did you have a problem with that? Water holes water?
- 22:50Speaker 1: Some of the best water. Yes, you don't just wash
- 22:54Speaker 1: cars now or Mother Point and the whipt out, the
- 23:01Speaker 1: quaints or mighty Fish. And just to let brother Deacon
- 23:08Speaker 1: offered to all bottle water is being held at my house.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You got out of it was spring water. Well, I
- 23:20Speaker 1: don't have all school I have or veno. You didn't
- 23:24Speaker 1: upgrade it at the matting? Are you hoarding water? Because
- 23:32Speaker 1: I don't listen to nothing to damn president say. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: began harden the moment his ass was elected. I saw
- 23:45Speaker 1: all this coming. You've been laying in the cut and
- 23:49Speaker 1: speaking here. He needed to be in the cut. I
- 23:53Speaker 1: don't know he's playing same man. Go ahead, man, man, man, man.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They know what the cut is if you play it here.
- 24:01Speaker 1: He passed. That was a fight over one roll of
- 24:04Speaker 1: toilet tissue after service yesterday sister Edda Burns and sister
- 24:10Speaker 1: Darth that Thomas fought for two hours over one role.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Now nobody tapped out. They say the grocerster was out.
- 24:19Speaker 1: How you want to handle list on this one road?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Who you want to get too? Because we got the
- 24:25Speaker 1: they went too far? Well, I don't I didn't want
- 24:27Speaker 1: to bring it up, and I don't suggest you tell
- 24:29Speaker 1: who was the fight again, the two sisters. That was
- 24:33Speaker 1: sister Edda Burns and then our sister Darth that Thomas
- 24:36Speaker 1: they were fighting over the time. Don't tell them this, deacon.
- 24:39Speaker 1: But the toilet paper roll was completely destroyed into fight.
- 24:48Speaker 1: You mean that's that one wasting he left it ain't
- 24:53Speaker 1: a damn sheet of it. Every time after an Alban
- 24:57Speaker 1: game when the kids go down there and throw it
- 25:00Speaker 1: all over the trees, he's the janitor down there. He's
- 25:04Speaker 1: been collected toilet tissue and he's now selling it for
- 25:07Speaker 1: eight dollars. Wait, wait a minute, when they throw it
- 25:10Speaker 1: over the trees, he taking it down and wrapping it
- 25:12Speaker 1: back up. Well see where you think what you think
- 25:14Speaker 1: happened on that toiletice? Why do you want some paper
- 25:18Speaker 1: that's been thrown over the trees and nobody want to
- 25:20Speaker 1: use that hold on, I beg to differ or because
- 25:26Speaker 1: if you ain't got no toilet tissue politissie to toil
- 25:32Speaker 1: tissue drive politissie wish with a little tree, Bob chip on,
- 25:37Speaker 1: it ain't gonna hurt the damn thing because that's where
- 25:40Speaker 1: the toiletisiue come from. The tree it out the church
- 25:44Speaker 1: Saint man ain't I'm not gonna go against all mad
- 25:51Speaker 1: fright him for going up. They're getting on that toiletisie
- 25:53Speaker 1: out them trees from little white kids down that albur
- 26:01Speaker 1: said this wo needed one day. Let me get down,
- 26:08Speaker 1: let me future. Yeah, you better come on, Jack Jordan membership. Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:21Speaker 1: The teachers in the congregation, the teachers are all for
- 26:25Speaker 1: the next three weeks. Now. The parents want to drop
- 26:30Speaker 1: the kids off at the teacher's house because they're still
- 26:33Speaker 1: getting paid anyway. So uh are you cooling us? Uh?
- 26:37Speaker 1: The church bringing the van around and dropping the kids
- 26:40Speaker 1: off at these these are teachers have this. No, we're
- 26:44Speaker 1: not having that. Don't bring you, but they off the past,
- 26:47Speaker 1: they off for the teachers have corona steut that stop
- 26:55Speaker 1: amazing foolish. Just put that out. Start the rumor in
- 26:59Speaker 1: this in the bus because the buses ain't running doing
- 27:02Speaker 1: Corona season. We're not having it. We can't have busses
- 27:07Speaker 1: packed with people. Listen. The law is you can't have
- 27:12Speaker 1: a gathering more than two hundred and fifty people. All
- 27:16Speaker 1: the people we picked up way more than two hundred, right,
- 27:21Speaker 1: so we can't pack the ass on breaking the law.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Let just start the room and that four the teachers
- 27:27Speaker 1: got it, and let's stop this hit next, next problem.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I can't hang out the next problem. Now listen, pat it,
- 27:33Speaker 1: I need you need to listen to U. We had
- 27:36Speaker 1: James Tisdale's funeral on Saturday. After getting to the barrier site,
- 27:41Speaker 1: the funeral director realized that the families checked had bounced.
- 27:47Speaker 1: They brought him back to the church. I don't know
- 27:50Speaker 1: if you I don't know if you realize it, but
- 27:53Speaker 1: that was him on the third Road Sunday morning. Now
- 27:56Speaker 1: he's still sitting there there, he's still sitting in there riding.
- 28:00Speaker 1: What do you want us to do with him? Path
- 28:04Speaker 1: quickly passed? Well, I say, lay him back. Oh lord,
- 28:13Speaker 1: I don't know what we're gonna do. I kept looking
- 28:18Speaker 1: at him. I just thought it wasn't a good sermon. Heath,
- 28:29Speaker 1: what you want to know what we gotta go, We
- 28:33Speaker 1: go Deacon pass Path and we don't know. Entertainment in
- 28:39Speaker 1: national news you're listening to show. According to the White
- 28:48Speaker 1: House doctor, President Trump has tested negative or the coronavirus
- 28:54Speaker 1: fake news. The White House doctor said yesterday, Tommy, this
- 29:01Speaker 1: is what the White House doctor. He even tweeted out everything.
- 29:04Speaker 1: President white House lying. I'm not acting like anything. I'm
- 29:13Speaker 1: just telling you what the White House doctor said. What
- 29:15Speaker 1: the Black president, what the Black House watch were Michael Flynn?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Is it Michael Flynn, the for the Homeland Security He
- 29:30Speaker 1: might get pardon. Yeah, yeah, he's talking about giving him
- 29:33Speaker 1: a total pardon. Everybody that worked for him in't going
- 29:37Speaker 1: to jail. Wow. Birds of the flocked together, baby flocked together. Yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Now you know, like I said, the President's uh test
- 29:49Speaker 1: his COVID nineteen tests. The results came back negative, according
- 29:53Speaker 1: to the White House doctor. Now this comes one week
- 29:55Speaker 1: after the President had dinner, you remember with the Brazilian
- 29:58Speaker 1: delegation in mar Logo in Florida. As we all know,
- 30:02Speaker 1: the president before he wasted two weeks calling the coronavirus
- 30:08Speaker 1: a democratic hoax. And now the country is in a
- 30:12Speaker 1: national emergency. Trump says that, yeah, he wasted credit. Start
- 30:20Speaker 1: that fall. Yeah, start a rumor that we could all die.
- 30:29Speaker 1: That's approach right at all. No, no, but why would
- 30:38Speaker 1: you get a ten? Why would you go get a
- 30:41Speaker 1: damn it's fake, right, if it was a hoax? Exactly.
- 30:47Speaker 1: The President says he's going to pump as much as
- 30:51Speaker 1: fifty billion dollars into the economy and into the budget
- 30:54Speaker 1: to fight against the disease. So we will see this
- 30:58Speaker 1: will allow the Health and Human Services Department to wave
- 31:01Speaker 1: rules limiting hospitals flexibility. That's the bill that came from
- 31:07Speaker 1: the House. Yeah, yeah, he's gonna get credit for passing it.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But that's the bill that Pelosi and all and was
- 31:14Speaker 1: working on in the House. That's what the it is.
- 31:18Speaker 1: And he gonna take credit for that call. And then
- 31:20Speaker 1: he get rid of the person that it was over
- 31:23Speaker 1: diseases or something like that. He got rid of the well,
- 31:25Speaker 1: he got rid of the yeah, yeah, the task force
- 31:30Speaker 1: that President Obama had put together. Yeah, he got rid
- 31:33Speaker 1: of the Pandemic task Force. So and those for no reason,
- 31:39Speaker 1: right of course, Yeah that they just wow, right, But
- 31:45Speaker 1: he had no reason to do it. He just did
- 31:47Speaker 1: it because Obama put it together. Why the same dude
- 31:50Speaker 1: trying to get rid of Obamacare? What would affect so
- 31:53Speaker 1: many people with pre existing conditions? He came in and
- 31:56Speaker 1: rescinded one hundred and eighteen things that Obama had done. Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 1: here's a dude who seems to think that by erasing
- 32:07Speaker 1: Obama it will make him appear greater. That's not what
- 32:11Speaker 1: this is, man, laughing. Man. And if we don't get
- 32:16Speaker 1: out to these polls, y'all offendacy four more years and
- 32:19Speaker 1: he's going to damage the way this political system was
- 32:23Speaker 1: created to be. He's gonna completely change that, and we
- 32:27Speaker 1: will forever be in an era of and man, please,
- 32:32Speaker 1: don't nobody want to sit here for that. No, that's true.
- 32:36Speaker 1: He has definitely mishandled this whole crisis, definitely has. All right,
- 32:43Speaker 1: put that in layman, turn he didn't messed up the country.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I go ahead, yes, yes, yes, all right, Steve. Let's
- 32:49Speaker 1: get miss Anna here. We got she got a lot
- 32:51Speaker 1: to get to, ladies and gentlemen, miss and trip o.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Thank you, Carla, thank you, Steve. This is a trip Okay.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Nationally are now three thousand, two hundred and forty four
- 33:02Speaker 1: confirmed cases of coronavirus three thousand, two hundred and forty
- 33:05Speaker 1: four confirmed cases of coronavirus, and sixty one Americans have died. Worldwide,
- 33:10Speaker 1: they're one hundred and fifty four thousand cases some six
- 33:13Speaker 1: thousand deaths reported, and in hard hit Iran there are
- 33:16Speaker 1: more than six hundred confirmed cases with ninety seven deaths
- 33:19Speaker 1: reported already. CDC's Anthony Fauci says we must take great
- 33:23Speaker 1: care because the track of the COVID nineteen virus has changed. Formally,
- 33:27Speaker 1: the main feeder of this coronavirus outbreak was China. They
- 33:32Speaker 1: have eighty thousand or eighty one thousand new cases, but
- 33:35Speaker 1: only eleven new cases and only seven new deaths. Things
- 33:39Speaker 1: have switched over now to outside of China. Several states
- 33:43Speaker 1: have closed their schools and restaurants in order to prevent
- 33:46Speaker 1: the spread of COVID nineteen. Restaurants are doing like order
- 33:49Speaker 1: and you can deliver or something like that, but you
- 33:51Speaker 1: can't go when you cannot sit down, and that's for
- 33:53Speaker 1: at least the next few weeks. Boston's public schools shut
- 33:56Speaker 1: down tomorrow and stay closed until April twenty seventh. On
- 33:59Speaker 1: the West coast, all California school districts remain open except
- 34:03Speaker 1: Los Angeles and San Diego. Meanwhile, though, since an estimated
- 34:07Speaker 1: twenty two million youngsters rely on school breakfasts and lunches
- 34:10Speaker 1: as their main sources of daye nutrition, a lot of
- 34:13Speaker 1: times they have grabb and goal lunches available at their school,
- 34:16Speaker 1: so if the kids go to school, especially this week,
- 34:18Speaker 1: they can pick up their breakfast and their lunches. Coronavirus
- 34:21Speaker 1: Aid Bill meanwhile allows families to apply for food stamps
- 34:24Speaker 1: if their children's school is closed for more than five days.
- 34:28Speaker 1: In Washington, speaking of that bill, the Democrats have successfully
- 34:31Speaker 1: convinced their Republican colleagues to sign on to that bipartisan
- 34:34Speaker 1: measure designed to help folks affected by Corona. The bill
- 34:38Speaker 1: provides for fear COVID nineteen testing, fourteen days paid, six time,
- 34:42Speaker 1: three months emergency leave, and some exemptions for small businesses.
- 34:46Speaker 1: The Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell could have let the
- 34:49Speaker 1: Senate decide it last week, but he let them go
- 34:51Speaker 1: home for the weekend anyway. McConnell's expected to bring the
- 34:54Speaker 1: bill up to a Senate boat today though, and President
- 34:56Speaker 1: Trump is expected to sign it. Former Vice President Joe
- 34:59Speaker 1: Biden Ernie Sanders faced each other last night head to head,
- 35:02Speaker 1: of course, the question of their ages and light of
- 35:04Speaker 1: coronavirus came up. Our entire staff is working from home.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I'm not shaking hands, Joe and I did not shake hands.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I'm using a lot of soap and hand sanitizers. You know.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Thank God. Right now, I do not have any symptoms,
- 35:20Speaker 1: and I feel very grateful for that. Vice President Biden. Well,
- 35:23Speaker 1: fortunately I don't have any of the underlying conditions you
- 35:26Speaker 1: talked about number one, number two. Thank God for the
- 35:30Speaker 1: time being. Anything can happen. If my mother to say,
- 35:32Speaker 1: knock on wood, I'm in good health, and he says
- 35:35Speaker 1: he's in good health, and he's been doing everything he
- 35:36Speaker 1: else can by washing his hands a lot and stuff
- 35:39Speaker 1: like that. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:41Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Former Florida Democratic candidate
- 35:48Speaker 1: for governor remember this, Andrew Gillham. You remember him. He
- 35:51Speaker 1: was found drawn in a hotel room with a suspected
- 35:56Speaker 1: overdose victim. Now, Gillam is the former mayor of talahas See.
- 36:00Speaker 1: He was not charged with any crime. Now, according to police,
- 36:04Speaker 1: nine one one was dispatched to a Miami Beach hotel
- 36:08Speaker 1: at one am on Friday regarding a suspected overdose. Now
- 36:12Speaker 1: police said that Gillam and two other men were in
- 36:15Speaker 1: a hotel room. Gillham released a statement and he said,
- 36:19Speaker 1: while I had too much to drink, I want to
- 36:22Speaker 1: be clear that I have never used meth, is what
- 36:26Speaker 1: he's trying to say. I apologize to the people of Florida,
- 36:31Speaker 1: yes for the distraction. Allegedly this has caused our movement. Color.
- 36:40Speaker 1: What's in the room? I've been I've been drunk. What's
- 36:45Speaker 1: in the room? We got looking in the room? What
- 36:48Speaker 1: else in the room? What else in baggy of crystal? Meth?
- 36:57Speaker 1: Got me in the room and we drunk? And what
- 36:59Speaker 1: else in the room? Called two men wearing chaps as well?
- 37:08Speaker 1: According to multiple blog reports, one of the men in
- 37:13Speaker 1: the room was a male escort. Okay, we got a
- 37:17Speaker 1: male escort in the room. I don't know wait wait
- 37:22Speaker 1: you know what. I I don't know what it allegedly mean?
- 37:25Speaker 1: What do allegedly said that solved this crime? You got
- 37:31Speaker 1: two men in chapp with meth? What you don't see
- 37:35Speaker 1: what's going on? There was actually three men and they drunk.
- 37:37Speaker 1: JA you can't put this together? Okay, right? In the
- 37:45Speaker 1: room and everybody got their butt out. Okay, I like
- 37:51Speaker 1: that sidestep. Now you see me. Now you get that.
- 37:56Speaker 1: You said they were I believe that. I believe that
- 38:02Speaker 1: Andrew gell Um. He also released the statement, Monica just
- 38:04Speaker 1: gave this to me that he is going to into
- 38:08Speaker 1: rehab for alcohol. That's what you do. You gotta go.
- 38:12Speaker 1: You can't sit out here and take this. This ain't this,
- 38:17Speaker 1: ain't just this. This ain't just an alcohol. It's more
- 38:20Speaker 1: than that. Whatever going you said, man, and a pants
- 38:26Speaker 1: on the come out a glass back in the room
- 38:31Speaker 1: and put pants on. Okay, are you quite done? No on? Okay,
- 38:48Speaker 1: that's deep block right there, Baby. We gotta go. I've
- 38:54Speaker 1: been up at thirty four after the R J. Anthony
- 38:56Speaker 1: Brown will tell us reasons why mister Trump is not
- 39:00Speaker 1: a germophobe. We'll talk about this. You're listening. You know
- 39:07Speaker 1: we talked about this earlier. According to the White House doctor,
- 39:09Speaker 1: President Trump has tested negative for COVID nineteen. Now, your boy,
- 39:14Speaker 1: Steve J. Anthony Brown is here to tell us why
- 39:18Speaker 1: mister Trump is not a germophobe. What you got, Jay, Well,
- 39:22Speaker 1: they've always said that he's a germophobe. That he's really,
- 39:26Speaker 1: you know, very cautious about germs and you know, but
- 39:30Speaker 1: he ain't on germophobe. Look at what he's done. Just poom,
- 39:33Speaker 1: he's had sex with porn stars. How about that? Done nothing?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Done nothing? He's done that. You would you wear the
- 39:44Speaker 1: same shirt, tat and suit every day, every limb, every
- 39:50Speaker 1: same limp, same limb. When's the last time you clean
- 39:56Speaker 1: that orange and makeup? Uh makeup brush you you? I
- 40:01Speaker 1: bet that's just that's dirt. That's really Yeah, he's not drum.
- 40:06Speaker 1: You eat nothing but fast food. That's all you eat.
- 40:10Speaker 1: That's all you know. They don't change the grease in
- 40:13Speaker 1: some of these places where you go. We know that
- 40:16Speaker 1: you will shake in anybody's hand. I've seen you doing.
- 40:20Speaker 1: You've been in every country. You've been in all these countries.
- 40:24Speaker 1: You ain't never had a mask or a hazmat suit
- 40:27Speaker 1: or sprayed or lightsol, a hand sanitizer or nothing. You
- 40:32Speaker 1: just talk and come back in your rallies. I'm not
- 40:37Speaker 1: saying everybody there as you rally got something, but I'm
- 40:41Speaker 1: not saying all of them got something. But they were
- 40:43Speaker 1: the same jeans and the same boot and the same
- 40:47Speaker 1: breeze ass hat and every damn rally. I'm trying to
- 40:53Speaker 1: prove to people that Trump is not a German folk.
- 40:57Speaker 1: He's not he I wouldn't when you standing next to him,
- 41:02Speaker 1: I wouldn't knew. And last but not least, I don't
- 41:10Speaker 1: know if I can you have three different baby well,
- 41:14Speaker 1: I was gonna see three different baby mama, But I can't.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I can't looka said when you're talking about black people
- 41:19Speaker 1: while you can't say about him, can't well, you can't
- 41:21Speaker 1: say about him? Yeah, what were you about? He said it?
- 41:27Speaker 1: I got three different baby mama, so I can't blame
- 41:30Speaker 1: him for them. He was about I gotta I gotta take.
- 41:36Speaker 1: You can't say when you point the phone come back
- 41:39Speaker 1: at you that what was that? What that was? I
- 41:42Speaker 1: j J Jay? You had to pull up out of
- 41:44Speaker 1: that boy about that? Either. I'm king on the quart,
- 41:54Speaker 1: but he is not a vote. And I don't believe
- 41:57Speaker 1: he took the test. I really don't. He lied about
- 41:59Speaker 1: everything else what they can't tell us TV. He didn't
- 42:10Speaker 1: look well, he just don't, Jane. He'll never look well
- 42:17Speaker 1: orange And look ja man, who who you know? Look orange?
- 42:22Speaker 1: And I would not shake his hand at all, No
- 42:28Speaker 1: for nothing, man, you know. Yeah, it's just so much
- 42:34Speaker 1: going on with the with the president and his lack
- 42:37Speaker 1: of leadership. The one thing that I think I'm frustrated
- 42:41Speaker 1: about is that it seems like he has left it
- 42:43Speaker 1: up to the states, each individual state to figure out
- 42:48Speaker 1: their plan to protect their citizens, when we should just
- 42:52Speaker 1: have one plan for the country. And you know what,
- 42:56Speaker 1: they look at Carlin, you gotta look, you gotta look
- 42:59Speaker 1: at the color. I watched the news yesterday and I
- 43:02Speaker 1: watched him say, you know what, We're not gonna really
- 43:05Speaker 1: deal with what Trump is saying. Let's just try to
- 43:07Speaker 1: fix what's going on here. Guys, they are they are
- 43:10Speaker 1: sliding away from him. They are slowly sliding away. He saying,
- 43:14Speaker 1: let's fix the problem. Let's not sit over here and
- 43:17Speaker 1: try to figure out what Trump's saying. What he's saying,
- 43:23Speaker 1: somebody needs to say that. And I've said it over
- 43:26Speaker 1: and over. Don't listen to what he's saying, because his
- 43:30Speaker 1: last statement. The problem is he is the president of
- 43:35Speaker 1: the largest free nation supposed to look to him for leadership, guidance,
- 43:40Speaker 1: and security and a calmness, and they can't get it
- 43:44Speaker 1: because it's too much confused. He doesn't have a personal
- 43:47Speaker 1: statement of feeling about it. All right, guys, we gotta go.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Coming up next, we gotta switch gears. The nephew is
- 43:53Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone call right after
- 43:56Speaker 1: this I listening show coming up at the top of
- 44:04Speaker 1: the hour, about four minutes after today's strawberry letter. Now
- 44:08Speaker 1: the subject is he's had a busy year and it's
- 44:11Speaker 1: only March. Okay, we're gonna find out I've worked right now, nephew,
- 44:20Speaker 1: stop mumbling. It's on your phone call? What you got? Uh?
- 44:25Speaker 1: This is called can you hear me? Nah? Twenty twenty
- 44:27Speaker 1: baby brand spanking new. Can't you him in? Nah? Can't
- 44:31Speaker 1: you human? Nah? Let's go cat dog. Hello, I'm trying
- 44:36Speaker 1: to speak to sister Lauren, please vegan, Sister Lauren. This
- 44:41Speaker 1: is brother David's from the church. I don't know if
- 44:43Speaker 1: you know me. You might know me when you see me,
- 44:45Speaker 1: but I don't know if you just know me because
- 44:46Speaker 1: we don't really interact that much at the church. But
- 44:49Speaker 1: I wanted to give you a call. We got a
- 44:50Speaker 1: bit of a problem going on. Okay, you got you
- 44:53Speaker 1: get you. You have a minute to talk all right? Now?
- 44:57Speaker 1: How long have you been doing? H Uh? The sign
- 45:01Speaker 1: you in the you know you in the ministry? Would
- 45:02Speaker 1: you do the sign language for the church? And um,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you know I noticed you up there at least two
- 45:09Speaker 1: Sundays out of a out of the month. You've been
- 45:12Speaker 1: doing it quite a while, am I right? So yes,
- 45:14Speaker 1: I've been doing it for over ten years. But I'm
- 45:16Speaker 1: really confused as to why you're calling about this time.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I'm just really be confused. I don't know who you are.
- 45:24Speaker 1: You say that, I see your faith. I may know you,
- 45:26Speaker 1: but what what does this have to do with anything?
- 45:29Speaker 1: Is how long I've been doing sign language? I know? Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 1: So I've been doing it for years? So how how
- 45:35Speaker 1: man help you with this? Do you want? Okay? So no, no,
- 45:39Speaker 1: I'm not trying to learn any sign language? Do you
- 45:41Speaker 1: do you know miss everybody call a Miss Murder? Do
- 45:44Speaker 1: you know Miss Murdle? Oh? Yeah, sure you okay, So
- 45:48Speaker 1: Miss Murder that's that's that's that's that's one of my
- 45:51Speaker 1: aunties right there. Miss Murder is okay, And she gave
- 45:56Speaker 1: you my number to call me. I'm what, what do
- 45:59Speaker 1: you need for me? No? That's what I'm getting at. So,
- 46:03Speaker 1: so you know you know my you know my honors
- 46:05Speaker 1: is deaf. You know she's hearing it. You know that, right? Okay, yeah, okay,
- 46:09Speaker 1: So so here's a problem. Ain't murderless telling us that
- 46:14Speaker 1: you're not doing the sign language right, doing the service
- 46:18Speaker 1: and like you're missing some things in the scripture or
- 46:21Speaker 1: something that's incorrect. I've been doing this for a very
- 46:27Speaker 1: long time and i know what I'm doing. So how
- 46:30Speaker 1: you So she told you for me to tell me
- 46:32Speaker 1: that I'm not doing the salnce correctly, let me say,
- 46:36Speaker 1: let me say this to you. I don't want us
- 46:38Speaker 1: to get off on the wrong foot. Let me just
- 46:39Speaker 1: say this to you. Once my, once my ain't murder
- 46:41Speaker 1: told us what was going on. You know. We then
- 46:45Speaker 1: went to one of the deacons and asked him, you know,
- 46:47Speaker 1: is that way we can uh have a meeting, you know,
- 46:50Speaker 1: with with with Sister Lawrence so we can try to
- 46:52Speaker 1: get this taken care of and talk about it. He said, well,
- 46:55Speaker 1: won't you just won't you just call and y'all can
- 46:57Speaker 1: just work it out. And and that's how I'm I'm
- 47:00Speaker 1: calling you now. I hope I don't know if you're
- 47:03Speaker 1: at work or whatever. I apologize, but I'm just trying
- 47:04Speaker 1: to get to the bottom of now, let me go,
- 47:06Speaker 1: don't say this. If my ain't myrtles say that you
- 47:09Speaker 1: ain't signing right, then my ain'tie ain't lying. That means
- 47:14Speaker 1: your excuse me, that means you ain't signing right. Really,
- 47:18Speaker 1: so the pastor couldn't come to me, but he but
- 47:21Speaker 1: you figured you would just call me and tell me
- 47:24Speaker 1: that your auntie says that I'm doing it incorrectly. That
- 47:27Speaker 1: doesn't make sense to me. How does she tell you that?
- 47:29Speaker 1: Did she sign it to you? She signed languages to
- 47:32Speaker 1: her daughter. Listen, you ain't got to worry about who
- 47:35Speaker 1: she's signing too. What you need to worry about is
- 47:37Speaker 1: getting your getting your stuff together all right and learning
- 47:41Speaker 1: how to do this the correct way so that my
- 47:43Speaker 1: ain'tie can get You know, my antie needs to be
- 47:45Speaker 1: getting the word like everybody else getting the word, but
- 47:47Speaker 1: she not getting it because you the words getting lost
- 47:50Speaker 1: in your hands. All I'm hearing is your voice is
- 47:53Speaker 1: getting very loud and you need to match my tone,
- 47:56Speaker 1: young man. Okay, let's start with that. Which I mean,
- 47:59Speaker 1: ma'am man, that match my tone because you're getting very
- 48:05Speaker 1: loud and I can't hear through all of that. All right, Okay, Okay,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I am situation. You called my phone. Correct, you have
- 48:15Speaker 1: a problem that you're discussing with me, but you're getting
- 48:18Speaker 1: more anger than anything else. How am I going to
- 48:20Speaker 1: resolve this problem? I am trying to be a court
- 48:23Speaker 1: where you resolve this problem? Is carr back to science
- 48:26Speaker 1: school so you can learn what you need to so
- 48:28Speaker 1: my any can get the word. My aint he can't
- 48:30Speaker 1: get out the gospel because you're messing it up. God
- 48:34Speaker 1: anointed me to do style language at that church, and
- 48:37Speaker 1: I've been doing this for a long time and I
- 48:39Speaker 1: will continue to do so. So don't call my phone
- 48:42Speaker 1: telling me that I'm not doing something right? You know?
- 48:45Speaker 1: But do God know that you're not doing it right?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Do God know that? Does God know that my ain't
- 48:51Speaker 1: myrtle not getting the word because of you? Named young man? Jesus,
- 48:56Speaker 1: please give me the strength to continue on with this conversation.
- 49:00Speaker 1: But you know what, Lord, I'm gonna be right back
- 49:02Speaker 1: little more. Let me tell you something. Don't you ever
- 49:06Speaker 1: call my mother freaking phone telling but I ain't doing something. Man?
- 49:10Speaker 1: If I see you in the street, this can't I
- 49:12Speaker 1: have is gonna go upside your goddamn head. Did I
- 49:15Speaker 1: make my stuff clear. I cannot believe you talking to
- 49:18Speaker 1: me like this. Oh now you want to be calm.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Now you're calm. Now you match my tone. I can't
- 49:24Speaker 1: believe you just got through talking to me like that.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Are we done here? So you think it's cool for
- 49:30Speaker 1: you to tell the Lord? I'll be right back. Thank you, Lord.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I needed a moment. You human right. We've been on
- 49:36Speaker 1: the stone this Lord even on skiing at me. I
- 49:38Speaker 1: told you to match my tone. Match my tone. I
- 49:43Speaker 1: am matching your tone. Now can I say? Can I?
- 49:47Speaker 1: Can I give you something else in this tone? Do
- 49:50Speaker 1: you mind? If I say something in this tone? You're
- 49:52Speaker 1: gonna hear a click in the dog quick go ahead.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I just want to tell you in this tone that
- 49:58Speaker 1: your friend Vanda Tay got me to prank phone call you.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I am nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 50:05Speaker 1: In your tone? Does oh Lord have mercy? What Bonda
- 50:13Speaker 1: Bonda Taylor, Bondar Taylor tell me you bet I put
- 50:17Speaker 1: us on the radio on the radio, bond in Jesus name,
- 50:23Speaker 1: amend I'm not playing any game, tom Ye. I think
- 50:28Speaker 1: it's funny, but it thinks this is my job here. Listen,
- 50:31Speaker 1: everything is fine. Are you having that going me? I
- 50:35Speaker 1: had to tell Jesus give me a minute because you
- 50:37Speaker 1: was about to be my pressure up. Lord, have mercy.
- 50:40Speaker 1: I don't even want to hear this, but I will
- 50:42Speaker 1: be calling Bonda because I have some mercy. Oh, Lord, Lord,
- 50:46Speaker 1: Lord Father, please to give me. Okay, you gotta you
- 50:50Speaker 1: gotta do this for me in my tone, in my tone,
- 50:53Speaker 1: it's twenty twenty. Tell me in your tone, what is
- 50:56Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land? In your tone?
- 51:08Speaker 1: Was I stupid enough? No disrespect, But that's kind of
- 51:11Speaker 1: a stupid question. We have to have more stupid Okay,
- 51:15Speaker 1: we need a stupid question. Look at you, you got
- 51:27Speaker 1: a copolt. Hey. Let me say this. Let me say this.
- 51:35Speaker 1: We have postponed. We postponed the show in Montgomery, Alabama,
- 51:39Speaker 1: y'all whole type and um, you know, as things progress,
- 51:43Speaker 1: we will let you know exactly when the show is

- 51:49Speaker 1: promise you that we sold it out. Yes we did.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I am coming. Stupidity would definitely come to Montgomery. We're
- 51:56Speaker 1: gonna make sure everybody is safe. That's the most important thing.
- 51:59Speaker 1: So y'all whole. I got more news to come. All right, nephew,
- 52:03Speaker 1: we'll wait for you, all right. Coming up next at
- 52:05Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Today's Strawberry Letter, and Steve

- 52:32Speaker 1: So Steve Harvey will read the letter. Here we go.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry letter. Yeah, I don't want you
- 52:41Speaker 1: introducing me. Hold on time. You don't want that doing
- 52:53Speaker 1: the intro. I don't sup. Here's the subject. Yeah, that's
- 53:02Speaker 1: just yeah. Here we go. Here's a subject. Everybody. He's
- 53:09Speaker 1: had a busy year and it's only March. Did Stephen Shirley.
- 53:16Speaker 1: My fiance and I've been together for ten months and
- 53:20Speaker 1: I just had a baby girl two months ago. My
- 53:24Speaker 1: man's phone is a constant source of arguments for us.
- 53:29Speaker 1: He gets so many late night calls and texts that
- 53:32Speaker 1: I started snooping. I never could see anything because he
- 53:37Speaker 1: deletes all of his texts, and that makes me think
- 53:40Speaker 1: that he has something to hide. Well, one night recently,
- 53:45Speaker 1: he got a text while he was in the shower
- 53:49Speaker 1: and it said can you talk. I got to his
- 53:53Speaker 1: phone and responded, no, but I can text. What's up.
- 54:02Speaker 1: The woman texts that she's been blowing his phone up
- 54:05Speaker 1: for the past two days because it was an emergency. Jesus,
- 54:11Speaker 1: I asked, what emergency? Get to the nearest balcony and
- 54:17Speaker 1: jump off. I asked what emergency? Fuck? She texts back
- 54:25Speaker 1: that she had just had his son and the baby
- 54:29Speaker 1: looked just like him. She said a picture of the baby.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I couldn't believe my eyes. Oh my god, how long
- 54:42Speaker 1: is your bath? I patiently waited until he got out
- 54:47Speaker 1: the shower and I let him know that he had
- 54:50Speaker 1: a newborn son. He didn't flinch. He told me I
- 54:55Speaker 1: was crazy and our daughter is his only child. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: had deleted to text, so he didn't know what I
- 55:04Speaker 1: was up to. He's so stupid. He fell asleep. So
- 55:14Speaker 1: I text a woman back, still pretending to be him,
- 55:17Speaker 1: and I asked her if she needed anything. She sent
- 55:23Speaker 1: a video or the two of them having sex, and
- 55:29Speaker 1: then she texts that some good loving from him was
- 55:33Speaker 1: all she needed. I got your stuff and moved out
- 55:39Speaker 1: of his house at to a m while he was
- 55:42Speaker 1: still sleep. My daughter and I are staying with my
- 55:46Speaker 1: dad and my man keeps begging me to come back
- 55:49Speaker 1: home and give him another chance. My dad told me
- 55:54Speaker 1: that I should be with the father of my child
- 55:56Speaker 1: no matter what. He told me that a man will
- 55:59Speaker 1: be your man and we can get past this. To me,
- 56:04Speaker 1: cheating is one thing, but this is too much for me.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Should I still marry this man? Please help? Yes, sir,
- 56:18Speaker 1: go ahead, let her go? All right? So you say
- 56:22Speaker 1: your man's phone is a constant source of an argument,
- 56:26Speaker 1: late night calls, test text messages. Your fiance. You just
- 56:30Speaker 1: don't trust him. You check his phone while he's in
- 56:32Speaker 1: the shower. You reply to the text message from another
- 56:36Speaker 1: woman pretending to be him his side check she told
- 56:40Speaker 1: him she misses him and that he is the father
- 56:43Speaker 1: of her son. You ask your fiance about the situation.
- 56:47Speaker 1: He denied a girl. You know he's lying anyway, Then
- 56:50Speaker 1: you said, later, after his stupid behind fell asleep, that's
- 56:54Speaker 1: your word. You call him stupid. You texted the side
- 56:57Speaker 1: check back, pretending to be him and asking her if
- 57:00Speaker 1: she needed anything. She texts back a video of them
- 57:03Speaker 1: having sex. Now, after all of that, I know you
- 57:06Speaker 1: were hurt, you were fed up, you were angry. You
- 57:09Speaker 1: moved your daughter out of the house at two am.
- 57:11Speaker 1: He must really sleep hard. You moved out at two am.
- 57:14Speaker 1: But anyway, let me just say this, A lot of
- 57:18Speaker 1: women listening to this right now are really proud of
- 57:22Speaker 1: you on that og move, moving out when he was sleeping.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I just gotta give you a high five on that. Anyway,
- 57:28Speaker 1: you move back in with your dad. You know, your
- 57:30Speaker 1: dad says, you know, advise you to forgive this man.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Your man wants his family back. So my advice to you,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you asked, should you forgive this man and marry him? No?
- 57:42Speaker 1: I say no, don't marry him because unless you don't mind,
- 57:46Speaker 1: now this is on you, unless you don't mind dealing
- 57:48Speaker 1: with the baby mama battles checking his cell phone all
- 57:51Speaker 1: the time. Who wants to marry a man you don't
- 57:54Speaker 1: even trust this man. You and baby Mama too, y'all
- 57:57Speaker 1: gonna be fighting for a position with this man all
- 58:00Speaker 1: the time. Get your child support paperwork in order, and
- 58:03Speaker 1: it's up to you. You have to decide what your
- 58:06Speaker 1: level of tolerance is going to be. I'm not gonna
- 58:08Speaker 1: judge you either way, but you have to do what's
- 58:10Speaker 1: best for you and your child. My advice will be
- 58:13Speaker 1: not to marry this guy. I said it before. Too
- 58:16Speaker 1: much going on, girl, You ain't got time for this.
- 58:18Speaker 1: We got coronavirus, this, this is too much. That's got
- 58:34Speaker 1: about thirty seconds. So let me say this right here.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I will reserve everything that I have to say when
- 58:41Speaker 1: I come back, but I'm gonna have advice for both
- 58:45Speaker 1: of you, for the young lady that wrote the letter primarily,
- 58:50Speaker 1: and then I'll have some advice for the dude and
- 58:54Speaker 1: some advice for the father. Oh, Steve, come back. All right,
- 59:00Speaker 1: you're taking us to school, and we'll half part two
- 59:03Speaker 1: of Steve's response to twenty three after the hour you're listening.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Steve, what you got? Well?
- 59:13Speaker 1: Normally I started at the top of the letter, but
- 59:16Speaker 1: let me just start at the bottom because I want
- 59:17Speaker 1: to make sure I get this out. This girl who
- 59:20Speaker 1: went through this, all of this with her man cheating
- 59:23Speaker 1: on her, having a baby, while they had a baby.
- 59:26Speaker 1: She goes to a father in the middle of the night.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Her dad told me that I should be with the
- 59:31Speaker 1: father of my child. No matter what he told me.
- 59:33Speaker 1: A man will be a man if we can get
- 59:35Speaker 1: past this. To me, cheating is one thing, but this
- 59:38Speaker 1: is too much for me. Should I still marry this man?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Please help? No father, Let me just say this in
- 59:44Speaker 1: all seriousness. No father should train his daughter to accept abuse.
- 59:52Speaker 1: No father, that's real talk. No father should train your
- 59:58Speaker 1: daughter to accept abuse of any kind. For any man.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Our number one job as fathers and dad's is to
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: protect our daughters. That's our number one job. To show
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: them what a real man look like. That's our job.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: You don't stop doing that. I don't give a damn
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: how much you like the boy. So that's for starting.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Now let's get back to the left. This Stephen Shelley.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Y'all been together ten months. Y'all had a baby girl
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: two months ago. Your man is a consols source of
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: problems with y'all because of his phone. He gets a
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: lot of late night calls and texts. So you start
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: a snooper, you ain't never see nothing because he deletes
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: all of his texts, and it makes me think he
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: got something to have. One night, he got a text
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: while he was in the shower and it said, can
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you talk? Break number one? If you are a cheetah,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: why is your phone separate from you at any giving time?
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Come on? First of all, no, I'm just saying you
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: can't be a cheater and be stupid. Damn don doing
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the shower and left your phone and you're deleting texts.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You all this you bought on yourself. You got everything
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: coming to you in this letter. So the text says,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: can you talk? I got his phone and responded no,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: but I can text what up? This is a straight
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: gangster move, girl, Uncle Steve applaud you. I take my
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: hat off. That is as gangster as you can get. No,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I can't talk, but I can text what's up? Sound
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: yet like it? The woman texts that she'd been blowing
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: his phone up for two days because it's the emergency
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: gangster move number two? What emergency? She texts back and
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: says she just had his son and the baby looked
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: just like him. She sent a picture of her baby.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I beat Damn nor sister. I know your boy, I
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: know you crushed. I know you. You can't believe that,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: so you patiently waited until he got out the shower.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: That's gangster too. Most women would have ran through the shower,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: dough and this't now we handbody down at the hospital.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: But it was straight gangster that you waited. Like I said,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: most women would have run straight through that damn shower.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Blast damaged your phone, got the phone where to see him,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: card ruined. But now you played a gangster. You waited
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: till he came out the shower, and then you calmly
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: let him know he had a newborn son here where
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: he got gangster. He didn't flinch held this composure, told
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you you was crazy and your daughter's his only child.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You went back straight gangster on gangster, deleted all the
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: texts so he wouldn't know what you was up to.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Oh girl, I got to get to your baby. You
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: doing the dog own thing. Now he's so stupid. He
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: fell asleep again, separated from his phone. This boy, you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: ain't stabbed his stupid ass and told him he fell
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: on a toothpick. No, really, he's so damned god. So
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I texted saying he's so stupid. So I texted woman back,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: still pretending to be him, asking if she needed anything.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: She sent a video of the two of them have
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: his sex and she texts that some good loving from
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: him was all she needed. Now, how you maintain your
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: poise at this point, I don't know, But again I
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: applaud you, young sisters. You're a cold girl right here.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: So you did the other gangs to move. You got
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: up and you moved out of his house at two
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: of him while he will sleep, My daughter and I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: are staying with my dad and my man keeps begging
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: me to come back home and give him another chance. Now,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: let me talk to your sister, because that's a lot
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: to be asked forgiving for because you already have to
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: deal with the fact that forget that he cheated, forget
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: that he had a baby, forget that his children are
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: two months apart, and forget the fact that you saw
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: the videos. That's a lot. That's a lot. Should I
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: take him back and marry this man? You can't marry
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: a man who has not number one, done anything to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: show you that he has changed, done anything to show
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you that he has any remorse, and has done anything
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: to do to rectify it. He's a nothing. You can't
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: marry a guy. You just jumping back into the flames
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: to get married and help you cope with one girl.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Don't do this. Yeah, that was good, Steve. Now coming up,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: my daddy was old, but he was never that. We're
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: gonna talk about last night's Democratic national debate right after this.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You're listening the last night Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: faced off during the Democratic presidential candidate debate. There was
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: no audience. The debate was in Washington, d C. On
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: CNN said, you saw it, Okay, so what do you think.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I'm still I'm still Biden. I mean my opinion, yeah,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: very much. So. My opinion was instead of attacking each other,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: they for the first time, they more so went after Trump. Yes,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: they did more going after Trump right now, which is
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: what I needed to see. Now, Trump's a message of relax,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: We're doing great, it will all pass. Uh. That's that's
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: not what you want to come from the president. And
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: then doctor, his doctor says the worst is ahead of us. Yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: because this is going to get worse before it gets better,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: because as the tests become available, you're going to find
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: out that a lot more people have it than you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: know of right now, exactly so yes, it's going to
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: get worse. But I think we have to like like
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: right there, like they're saying it's three thousand, four hundred
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: coronavirus cases in the US. Now Trump claims that's total control,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: but that's three hundred, three four hundred cases that we
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: know of. I can also tell you that right now
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: that United States is on the band travel list of
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: several countries that are countries who would not allow US
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: citizens into their country. Do you know that? Yeah, because
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: they know now that the US does not have a
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: grip on this and the untested people far outweigh the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: number of cases, which is true. And so China handle
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: this the right way. China is on the other side
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: of it. They're making a comeback. But China deal what
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: America is not going to do, because this is a
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: capitalistic society. China erected hospitals. China went out there and
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: started making respirators, because you know, China can duplicate anything.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: So they went out there and they started making Hey,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: they started making respirators, hospitals, beds, everything. They had it
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: up and running. America's not gonna do that because whoever
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: makes a bed or respirator in America going to know
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: who's gonna pay them. See China man said we're making
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: these beds and that and that was it. Now do
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you want to live in China, of course not. But
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: in America you're not going to be able to do
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: that because whoever make the beds and all this stuff
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: gone want to know how they getting paid and paid
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: no money for that dame building of the damn thing.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: So did you guys here? Also last night during the debate,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden has committed to choosing a woman as his
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: running mate. We'll talk about it. See, we'll keep this
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: conversation going at the top of the hour. You're listening,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: all right, So last break, we were talking about the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Democratic candidate presidential debate last night. Bernie Sanders Joe Biden, Washington, DC.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: There was no audience. Old Bernie hunted seven. When Moses
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: got the tablets off the mountain, he was down. He
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: was down there. He was dancing right up under that calf.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: If you look at the movie Moses, Bernie was to
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: do with the doghead dancing right up under the fitted cast.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: He was and he was passing out beach to everybody.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Because he's a socialist everybody leans. So we were talking
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: about Joe Biden and he announced that he would pick
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: a woman as his running mate, and Bernie Sanders said,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: in all likelihood he would too. So we were talking
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: about this is fantastic news. Could it be Amy Klobuchar,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Pamala Harris, Hillary Clinton? Maybe? Who knows? What do you think, Steve,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I have no idea. I think they both said that
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: as a as a ploy in the debate. Bernie Sanders
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: more likely I would too, because it sounds good. I
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: think they threw it out as a test because I
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: think it's the politically correct thing for them to say
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: in all honesty, because they're politicians. They don't they don't
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: mean anything they say. They just say, you don't think
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: he means this. You don't think Joe Biden means it. Well,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: we're gon we're gonna see well. I mean, they said
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: it in the first head to head debate, so they're
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: gonna get locked in if they don't wonder they're gonna
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: say so. I mean, the question is who would be
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: the one? Tommy, who do you think would be the one?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Oh God, that's that's a difficult woman. I love um
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the sister, I do I love her, Kamala Harris or
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I like Kamala Harris, but I would say I would
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: say Hillary, that's crazy, that's like left field Bernie and
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: not gonna pick Hillary. I'm not talking about Bernie. You're
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: talking about Biden gets the nomination. You think he would
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: pick Hiller. I think Biden would do that perfectly, the perfectly. Ja.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: We all know her and we all love her. Sheryl
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Underwood vice president, just smart YaST right here, stent. You
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: would have done better with Paula Deen Jay of Dean.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Oh god, no, no, oh no, I think I think
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: I think that Amy Klobchal because she's stuck in there
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: so long and she had a great debate. I think
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Kamala would have been great had she lasted longer. You know,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I think him from Biden. I like Kamala and Biden
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: to Yeah, okay, can I ask y'all something? Can I
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: ask you'all something? What about Michelle Obama? Boy? Boy, she's
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: not going to go off in that mess? She no
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: dog dog. I'm just not ain't mad at you, But
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Michelle Obama free, she not man free dog she free,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: She gonna live her best life man yes dog yes, no, no,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: how much was that book. There should be somebody who
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: wants the job. I mean, we got a lot of
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: women who were qualified to who were qualified to be
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: president six Steve mill what would you go back and
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: running anything for? No, you ain't supposed to. You ain't
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: supposed to a sixty meal party and we'll see. We'll
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: see who they picked as their VP running mates. Us.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: We uh, A lot of states had to postpone their
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: primaries tomorrow. You know, got a lot of states, Georgia, Florida, Ohio,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: a lot of elections I was supposed to happen tomorrow.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: So everything's being postponed because of the coronavirus. So we'll
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: keep your update and let you know about any voting
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: changes and the dates that been rescheduled. So coming up,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: we'll have more trending news on the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Show at twenty minutes after you're listening to show. People
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: all over the world are loading up on essentials because
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: of the coronavirus outbreak. You know, the fear is there.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Some people are pad it buying, yeah, leaving store shelves
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: empty of certain items. I mean that everyone needs like
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: toilet paper, paper, towels, and did you hear about this
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: this woman in Australia. I know we've been seeing it
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: here at home. But this woman in Australia, she's a
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: mom of sixteen kids. Yep, sixteen kids. So she was
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: in a grocery store and this woman gave her the
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: side eye. Who got sixteen babies? This woman, the lady
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: in austral Yeah, but anyway, she was grocery shopping and
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: she got a side eye about all this toilet paper
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: that she was buying. And she posted on Facebook, I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: will not apologize for buying toilet paper for my family
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: which is bigger than yours, and I won't let you
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: make me feel guilty about it, because you know, these
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: folks was like, well, they're go all the toilet paper,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: you know, they were saying, all that store, hey man.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So she bought the toilet paper. She was in there first.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: She didn't steal it, she bought it. Yeah, people kill me.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Well I go all the toilet paper. Well hey hey,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I was next. Well, and I think what it is.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: It's the mindset of hoarding. You know, you have to
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: not buy everything and leave stuff for other people that
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: are in the store. But she has sixteen children, so
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: she need. Okay, we got more to Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I apologize to the people of Florida. Yes for the distraction.

- 1:17:32Speaker 1: That's what you do. You gotta go. I can't sit
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: out here and take this. This ain't this, ain't just this,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: This ain't just alcohol. It's more than that. Whatever you said,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: men and I asid out a glass back in the
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: room and put pans on. Okay, are you quite done?
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop. Stop. No, you got your your pants on. Okay,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that's deep block right there, baby, we gotta go. It's
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the last break of the day coming on the day.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: We'll take it. We'll take it. We got Steve's closing
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: remarks coming up at forty nine after the hour you're

- 1:18:52Speaker 1: we need right there. You better start ted wash clothes.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Cannot you have a pet at your house? What do
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you read? The magazines? And I got some old phone
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: books and roll it in your hand. You don't cut
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: your paper, Tommy, got to ball it up, just balling up,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: rolling the hand. You gotta soften it. You gotta soften
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: it up. Hey man. All you gotta do is wet
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: it a little bit. I'm using old man color. This
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: is my old school brothers right here. This two old
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: school brothers. Take it wet it balled it up, keep rock,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: keep working. I'm from the you gotta know that did this.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: I'm from the country. You all have made me laugh
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: and smile today, and I hope everybody's supposed to you
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: get a dose every day because this is what we do.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: We need to laugh right now, We need all of this.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: This is life as we know what has come to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: a halt. But Steve is here with some closing remarks.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Well here it is. Listen to me. Yo h. We've
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: all heard this term, and I was thinking about this today. Oh,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: when people have a glass of water, some people look
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: at the glasses half empty, and some people look at
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the glasses half full. I'm saying that because the question
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: I'm posing to everybody right now is how are you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: viewing all that's happening right now in this world. I'm
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: not telling you what your particular view should be. I'm
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: just simply asking how are you viewing all that's happening
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: right now? Are you looking at this whole situation with
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: the coronavirus and what's happening with the closings of the
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: schools and the ad ports and the restaurants and the
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: banning of the countries. Are you looking at it as old,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: woe is me? What am I gonna do? What we
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: gonna do? Or have you taken a moment to just
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: be grateful that you are here and you are healthy,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: that the majority of your loved ones are still here
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and they're healthy. Are you looking at it as an
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: old no old, wait a minute any day now, or
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: are you looking at it at just how blessed you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: really are? See, there's a big difference between looking at
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: your glass half empty and looking at your glass half full.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I was talking with somebody the other day on the
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: set and somebody said that Tom Hanks and his wife
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: got Corona. And as soon as they said that, somebody said,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: well that's different. They rich, and I just energy. I
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: stopped him. I said, wait a minute, hole of y'all.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Being rich, don't stop corona. Being rich don't stop cancer.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: It don't stop diabetes. Being rich, don't stop high blood pressure.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Being rich, don't stop HIV. Being rich, don't stop hepatitis.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Being rich, don't stop pneumonia. It don't stop the flu.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Being rich, don't stop hard attacks. Being rich, don't stop suicide. See,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you got to stop looking at things and making excuses
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: for stuff, because see, let me explain something to you.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Here's what I know for shore, the poor, the rich,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and the middle class, all three of those groups, and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: you can throw the homeless in there. The homeless, the poor,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the middle class, and the rich all have equal and
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: and something in common. Equally, they all have the same
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: access to God. Equally, I got the same access as
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: the homeless person. The middle class person has the same
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: access as the poor person. The poor person has the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: same access as the rich person. Please stop looking at
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: what you don't have. See this is a fact, and
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: no matter who you are, we all need Him, We
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: all need this relationship with God. This is just a fact.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: So what I want you to do is stop looking
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: at what you don't have, because whatever it is you're
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: making your focus, your focus becomes your reality. Whatever you
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: focus on is exactly what you will attract. That's a fact.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: It don't matter if you believe it or not. It's
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the law of attraction. And where does that law come
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: from the Bible? Because there's a proverb that says a
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: man is as he thinketh. That's written a lot of
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: different ways, but you break it down, that's basically what
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Proverbs twenty three seven saying, a man is as he thinking.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: So listen to me, y'all, since your glass could be
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: half into a half fool. If you want to create
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: a better world, if you want to create a better life,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: if you want to create a better situation, what has
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: to happen is you have to start thinking and seeing
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: a better world. You gotta start thinking and seeing a
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: better life for yourself. And you got to start thinking,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: and you got to start seeing a better situation. So
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you gotta think something, you got to see something, and
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you gotta imagine something. That's a fact. That's how you
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: bring about a change. Don't let your circumstances trip you out.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Because I draw on three things all the time. I
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: draw on my relationship with God. I draw on all
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: the stories in the bi and I drawn all my
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: past experience that he hadn't bought me through, every single
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: thing I've ever ever been through, and he gonna bring
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: me through this too. Come on, those are my clothes, mart, Yes,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: your son, we're dealing with it. Hey have a great weekend, y'all.
