- 2:18Speaker 1: I chuckle like that reminds me of my oldest brother
- 2:21Speaker 1: had passed the where he used to laugh like that.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's kind of funny how jeans get passed down through
- 2:25Speaker 1: the line. I don't know why I told you all that,
- 2:27Speaker 1: just on the ship with you, that's all. Wow. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: all good one to day. You know, I was, as
- 2:35Speaker 1: always always kind of asked God to help me, you know,
- 2:39Speaker 1: um and and and and I had I had gotten
- 2:42Speaker 1: off track a little bit because um one of the
- 2:46Speaker 1: principles of success. I want to share with you all
- 2:49Speaker 1: today is a law of attraction that is a very
- 2:53Speaker 1: very serious principle. It cannot be ignored. The law of attraction.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And I'm I'm not going to be able to explain
- 3:02Speaker 1: it to you as well as the book Secrets can,
- 3:06Speaker 1: or as well as some people. I can only articulate
- 3:09Speaker 1: it to you, um the way that I see it.
- 3:13Speaker 1: The law of attraction is very very real. The law
- 3:16Speaker 1: of attraction is a principle of success. It is something
- 3:21Speaker 1: that everyone has to adhere to. Now, whether you know
- 3:26Speaker 1: the law of attraction or not, it does not make
- 3:29Speaker 1: it not exists for you. This is the case where
- 3:34Speaker 1: ignorance is not the excuse. The fact that no one
- 3:39Speaker 1: told it to you. There is no pass for this one.
- 3:43Speaker 1: The fact that you never heard it before it it
- 3:47Speaker 1: does not allow you to do it any other way.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So let me see if I can put it to
- 3:53Speaker 1: you best I can. The law of attraction, the law
- 3:57Speaker 1: of attraction, to put it real simple, is the thing
- 4:01Speaker 1: that you focus on, the thing that you talk about,
- 4:06Speaker 1: the thing that you think of. It's the thing that
- 4:09Speaker 1: you draw to you. It's what you attract to you.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That's basically, the law of attraction. The thing that you
- 4:17Speaker 1: talk about, the thing that you think about, the thing
- 4:21Speaker 1: that you focus on, whatever it is that is what
- 4:26Speaker 1: you attract. The law of attraction does not differentiate from
- 4:34Speaker 1: positive and negative. It only does what it does. What
- 4:40Speaker 1: I am saying is this in the law of attraction.
- 4:45Speaker 1: No matter what you think of, no matter what occupies
- 4:49Speaker 1: your time, no matter what you say, or no matter
- 4:53Speaker 1: what the focus is, positive or negative, the law of
- 4:56Speaker 1: attraction knows neither one. It just attracts sick. So let's
- 5:02Speaker 1: use some examples here. I can just the best example
- 5:06Speaker 1: always uses me that way. I ain't got to figure
- 5:09Speaker 1: out nothing. I can just tell you my side of it. Um.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I was in a lot of debt one time in
- 5:18Speaker 1: my life, as before any of you knew me. Um,
- 5:22Speaker 1: so you can understand. In case you're not think, I don't.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I don't want you to think that this conversation is
- 5:29Speaker 1: about your income level, because it's not. It doesn't matter
- 5:32Speaker 1: what the income level you are. The law of attraction
- 5:35Speaker 1: works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: kept saying, Man, this debt is killing me, I got
- 5:49Speaker 1: to get out, and I thought that was good enough. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: this debt. Man, everywhere I turned, I see debt. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: got to get out, man, I got to get out
- 6:00Speaker 1: of debt. Man, this debt is killing me. Man, that's
- 6:03Speaker 1: all I see is debt. And I got to get
- 6:05Speaker 1: out of debt. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 6:10Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 6:17Speaker 1: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So guess what, so I could get out That's all?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Is that crazy? Is that crazy? So it kept attracting
- 6:31Speaker 1: debt to me so I could keep getting out of it.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That is an amazing law to understand. What turned it
- 6:40Speaker 1: around for me was I started claiming a life of abundance. God,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I am seeking a life of abundance. I want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: have more than enough. I want to be able to
- 6:55Speaker 1: help other people. I want to have money to donate
- 6:59Speaker 1: to causes. I want to have money to help other
- 7:03Speaker 1: people in program. I want to have enough money to
- 7:06Speaker 1: not only send my children to college, but maybe if
- 7:09Speaker 1: I meet another boy or something, I can help another child.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I just want to have a law of attraction so
- 7:15Speaker 1: that I'll be able to provide my family to lifestyle
- 7:18Speaker 1: that I want to provide them. I want Heavenly Father
- 7:21Speaker 1: to be able to be an example of your goodness
- 7:25Speaker 1: and your grace in my life. That's what I started saying.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And guess what, that's what I started attractive. I'm going
- 7:34Speaker 1: to have a great relationship with my children. I'm gonna
- 7:38Speaker 1: be the father that I always wanted to be. I'm
- 7:41Speaker 1: going to be a good father. I'm going to be
- 7:45Speaker 1: a good husband. Now, I am going to do the
- 7:48Speaker 1: right things. I Am going to be the type of
- 7:51Speaker 1: example that my sons can look no further than go.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I can be like my dad. I want to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: able to be a place, a beacon of light and
- 7:59Speaker 1: the whole for my daughters to come through. That's what
- 8:02Speaker 1: I started saying. That's what I started attracting to my life.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The law of attraction does not care if you want
- 8:12Speaker 1: it to be positive or negative. The law of attraction
- 8:16Speaker 1: just attracts whatever it is. You focus on, what you
- 8:21Speaker 1: think about the words that come out your mouth. That
- 8:25Speaker 1: is what the law of attraction is. You cannot overlook
- 8:29Speaker 1: this principle of success and expect to make it. Because
- 8:33Speaker 1: of the fact that you've never heard of the law
- 8:35Speaker 1: of attraction, because of the fact that you don't know
- 8:38Speaker 1: how it really operates, It does not make it not
- 8:42Speaker 1: exist in your day. You can start today attracting the
- 8:48Speaker 1: right things to your life by changing what you say,
- 8:54Speaker 1: what you think, what you focus on. Change the focus,
- 9:01Speaker 1: change the thought, change the words that come out your mouth.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And guess what you change what you attract to yourself.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You have got to ask yourself, why is it? Man? Man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Somebody said the Bishop Jake's
- 9:17Speaker 1: one time. They said, man, everything you touch turns to gold.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He said, no, I just don't touch everything. Okay, this
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's crazy. Come on, man, he has a focus. He
- 9:34Speaker 1: has a focus. See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring me
- 9:38Speaker 1: any idea, let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 9:40Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction
- 9:44Speaker 1: that's working, where he's attracting things to his life that
- 9:49Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't. It's not to say Bishop
- 9:52Speaker 1: Jakes don't have problems, because we talk often and man,
- 9:55Speaker 1: he have them. Oh please understand. And he's not trying
- 9:58Speaker 1: to attract the problem. But what he will attract is
- 10:02Speaker 1: the proper solution for the problem, and ain't that all
- 10:06Speaker 1: you need? Sometimes? God did not say that it would
- 10:10Speaker 1: be easy. He just said he would be with you.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And if God is with you, who can be against you?
- 10:17Speaker 1: God will make your enemies your footstew. God is powerful man,
- 10:21Speaker 1: His word is true. He do what he say he
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna do. Now, all we got to do is do
- 10:26Speaker 1: some of what we say. But we ain't gonna do everything.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Just do some of what we say we Okay, here's
- 10:31Speaker 1: the deal. God is going to do everything he said
- 10:34Speaker 1: he gonna to you, and I just got to do
- 10:38Speaker 1: some of the stuff we say we're gonna do it
- 10:39Speaker 1: because he already know we ain't gonna do all that. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: he clear on that. He clear on that. I ain't
- 10:45Speaker 1: smoking no more. Yeah, okay, cool, Yeah, maybe not, you know,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't gambling no more. Okay, maybe not,
- 10:51Speaker 1: maybe not, maybe not. I'm quick custom all right, okay, cool,
- 10:56Speaker 1: all right, thank you. You're to morning show, ladies, gentlemen,

- 11:27Speaker 1: change some of this madness that's going on up in
- 11:29Speaker 1: this White House. We got the president of our country
- 11:32Speaker 1: making statements at the U. N Building and people laughing
- 11:35Speaker 1: at him in other languages, Ladies and gentlemen. What the
- 11:40Speaker 1: hell going on? Sherley Strawberry this world, man, I'm so

- 11:55Speaker 1: foolishness right here. I got my own set of problems.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I am not rapping. I'm not rapping Donald Trump into
- 12:04Speaker 1: my day. I'm not gonna do it. Call it for real, boy,
- 12:10Speaker 1: what's happening? Ain't it crazy? It's some straight crazy. Ain't
- 12:14Speaker 1: it crazy? I don't know. I thought you were talking

- 12:26Speaker 1: follows on my own. I got zorzier get grass winning
- 12:29Speaker 1: in the St. Augustin Gray. I'm worried about that in
- 12:32Speaker 1: my house. And see them at Chateau problem. Yeah, everybody
- 12:35Speaker 1: don't have that. I thought he got zorger Grass running
- 12:39Speaker 1: in the fiscue. We don't know what that is. I
- 12:42Speaker 1: thought that was two people, black people talking about I
- 12:47Speaker 1: just need some folk rolls. Saw. I'll take artificial turf.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That's how they do it in l a artificial turf. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I just it light on the table of contents, right man,

- 13:51Speaker 1: Ben see anything? Man, let me tell you something more.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Don't you know? But don't you know, incredible thing, Anything
- 14:04Speaker 1: is possible. You know what's amazing about this. I'm actually
- 14:08Speaker 1: sitting I'm sitting here excited about the possibilities of what
- 14:15Speaker 1: God gonna do again. I'm telling you, man, I'm so
- 14:20Speaker 1: cool with everything. I appreciate all love and prays. Y'all
- 14:23Speaker 1: gonna do a writing in campaign if you want to
- 14:25Speaker 1: knock yourself out at the end of the day, Lord God. Alright.
- 14:30Speaker 1: In the words of Chris Cuomo from CNN, uh o
- 14:34Speaker 1: JA has some Yeah, o J has some advice for
- 14:37Speaker 1: Bill Cosby. Let's get after it. We come back, okay
- 14:41Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour you're listening to Steve
- 14:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve o J says Bill
- 14:50Speaker 1: Cosby will be a target in prison. He is calling
- 14:54Speaker 1: for house arrest. H o J is concerned that Bill
- 14:58Speaker 1: Cosby will be attack by some nut in prison and
- 15:02Speaker 1: if anybody should know, it will be o J. Right,
- 15:05Speaker 1: of course. O J spent about nine years behind bars
- 15:08Speaker 1: in Nevada for kidnapping an armed robbery, and he warns
- 15:12Speaker 1: that people like Cosby, convicted sex offenders, don't do well
- 15:16Speaker 1: behind bars. O J says the problem is the nature
- 15:20Speaker 1: of the crime. He said. Well, he said this all
- 15:22Speaker 1: while golfing out in Nevada. He says, rapists are frowned
- 15:26Speaker 1: upon in prison. Take a listen. Well, if he goes
- 15:29Speaker 1: to prison, I'm sure that we guys protect him, but
- 15:31Speaker 1: they're gonna have to put him the protective custody because
- 15:34Speaker 1: it takes one nut. You know, the problem is the
- 15:37Speaker 1: nature of the crime. You know, rapist frown frowned upon
- 15:40Speaker 1: in prison and uh. But with his health, in his
- 15:42Speaker 1: age and the nature of the crime, that is not
- 15:44Speaker 1: a warden in this country, with the responsibility of the
- 15:46Speaker 1: build bill cause me, I think they should let him
- 15:49Speaker 1: do his time. When the house arresting, you know, let
- 15:52Speaker 1: me say something, say it, say it to yourself. You
- 16:02Speaker 1: might this, you might want to hold up. I don't
- 16:05Speaker 1: care what out and gotten myself and this one. This
- 16:10Speaker 1: is the last damn person that I won't speaking on
- 16:15Speaker 1: my back. Why did they him anything? All that wind
- 16:20Speaker 1: in the background. He on the course, Yeah, he on
- 16:23Speaker 1: the course. Holding up the game is what you do.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You know. What's what's crazy? Is he what he's saying
- 16:30Speaker 1: is true. It's just don't nobody to give a damn
- 16:35Speaker 1: what o J. Yeah, you got that right. I just
- 16:39Speaker 1: I would be like, just bro, bro don't don't don't say.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But he was yea, they did ask him. He O
- 16:47Speaker 1: J said that he thinks the punishment is too severe.
- 16:50Speaker 1: He's calling for mercy, he says, with his help and
- 16:52Speaker 1: with his age in the nature of the crime. There's
- 16:54Speaker 1: not a warden in this country that wants the responsibility
- 16:57Speaker 1: of Bill Cosby. Well so, well, it is going to
- 17:02Speaker 1: be a problem because you're dealing with a high profile, famous,
- 17:10Speaker 1: rich oh decrepit. He can't defend himself, no level. He
- 17:20Speaker 1: can't defend himself on any level. But he's gonna yeah, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 1: all that's good. He's gonna have to pay people to
- 17:30Speaker 1: take care of him, and he gonna get plenty offers,
- 17:33Speaker 1: especially if you're gonna stay. He gonna get plenty offers. Oh,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he gonna get plenty offers. But you don't want o
- 17:41Speaker 1: J how you comment with you many times as famous
- 17:48Speaker 1: as you are. I did not see a report on
- 17:51Speaker 1: your on your golf course. You can't steal your stuff?
- 17:55Speaker 1: What's your stuff? He's though he was trying to steal
- 17:58Speaker 1: his stuff back? He get what? Oh would I get caught?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Oh Jack? Oh? How you get off from murder? But anyway, yeah, Cosby,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I mean you's intimate number in in seven six eight seven?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Did you write it down in yeah? Yeah in seven?
- 18:29Speaker 1: No you don't, I tell you, yes, we already go
- 18:39Speaker 1: say that. I got an idea. We know what you're
- 18:41Speaker 1: gonna one more time? What's the number? Carla in in
- 18:46Speaker 1: seven six eight? First word is New wrote this is,
- 18:58Speaker 1: according to CBS New out of all the letters in
- 19:04Speaker 1: the alphabet, right, six letters in the alphabet. First, goodness,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but dam quickick, this is terrible. First, I'm gonna tell
- 19:29Speaker 1: you man, this is it's hurtful on so many levels
- 19:32Speaker 1: where because you know, first of all, let me be clear,
- 19:38Speaker 1: when you do people wrong, that it's consequences for Okay,
- 19:42Speaker 1: let's be clear. Here is the other side of it.
- 19:46Speaker 1: He meant so much to so many over the years,
- 19:50Speaker 1: the people he's mentored a lot, the contract, the donations
- 19:56Speaker 1: took education to HBCU, no one. I don't remember anyone
- 20:04Speaker 1: putting the money in the HBCUs like him. You know,
- 20:09Speaker 1: he did a lot constantly at Moore House, and he
- 20:11Speaker 1: did a lot. It's so tragic to see an icon
- 20:16Speaker 1: like this fall from grace over committing such heinous acts.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I mean, man, you go like, wow, women, hold up, dude,
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's like it's hard to match them up. And you
- 20:30Speaker 1: have to understand people's disappointment in it because people who
- 20:35Speaker 1: really knew Cosby didn't know anything of this side. I mean, no,
- 20:40Speaker 1: he ain't one like he was discussing it bringing other
- 20:43Speaker 1: dudes in. He was acting alone. There was never one
- 20:48Speaker 1: report of a couple of men in the room or nothing.
- 20:52Speaker 1: This was all him and so he kept it a secret,
- 20:57Speaker 1: but he did. He had no idea. You these women
- 21:01Speaker 1: will go raise up and they rolls up and their
- 21:04Speaker 1: voices got heard. And didn't he talk about this sort
- 21:07Speaker 1: of thing on his UM and some of his comedy shows.
- 21:11Speaker 1: He had a lot of jokes about Spanish flying you know.
- 21:15Speaker 1: But back then, you know, I just thought it wasn't joke.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Spanish flyer wasn't joke I did. I thought it was
- 21:22Speaker 1: Spanish flyer, Tommy. I did not know. Now you just
- 21:26Speaker 1: say old enough, Well, I mean it's kids. As a kid,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I used to hear about it. You ain't no kid
- 21:31Speaker 1: not you're familiar with ecstasy. I've heard of that. Yes, okay,
- 21:35Speaker 1: well right around in the area right there, all right,
- 21:39Speaker 1: we gotta go, um listen. Coming up next, it's Run
- 21:42Speaker 1: that Prank back with the King of Pranks, the Nephew.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening show coming up at the
- 21:50Speaker 1: top of the hour and entertainment news Um. Social media
- 21:55Speaker 1: is going crazy about Bill Cosby sentencing and Cardi B
- 21:58Speaker 1: might perform at the Super Ball, but right now, the
- 22:01Speaker 1: King of pranks is here. Time to run that prank back.
- 22:03Speaker 1: What you got? Just's something real, nice and simple? Can
- 22:06Speaker 1: your wife help me with my thesis? Something real? So?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Can your wife help me with my thesis? Let's go,
- 22:13Speaker 1: let's go. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Yeah, who
- 22:21Speaker 1: who is it? Hey? My name less man? Is this
- 22:24Speaker 1: is this down? A husband? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, this's me.
- 22:27Speaker 1: What's up? Listen? Um, my mother's mrs Man. She goes
- 22:31Speaker 1: to church with with with your wife's mom, uh, with mother.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And I'm actually in middle school, man, And they told
- 22:39Speaker 1: me your your wife she's a she's a nurse. Is
- 22:43Speaker 1: that right? Yeah? Yeah, yeah yeah chip nurse like you said,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you said your mama. So the church with my wife's mama,
- 22:50Speaker 1: right right? My mother, she goes to church with with
- 22:54Speaker 1: with mother. Okay, then all right, Uh, what I was
- 22:58Speaker 1: calling you off for? You didn't mind? I want to
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'm going. I'm getting ready to do my thesis. Man,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm doing my thesis for the end of the year, uh,
- 23:06Speaker 1: end of the semester, man for man school. And then
- 23:09Speaker 1: they told me your wife you know that might be
- 23:11Speaker 1: able to help me out, so I was hoping I

- 30:27Speaker 1: Social media is going crazy about Bill Cosby sentencing and
- 30:31Speaker 1: Cardie B just might perform at the Super Bowl with
- 30:34Speaker 1: Maroon five. All that's coming up right after this. You're
- 30:38Speaker 1: listening to the String Show today. In entertainment news, the world,
- 30:44Speaker 1: of course, is still reacting to Bill Cosby sentencing. Bill
- 30:48Speaker 1: Cosby is an inmate now after being labeled a sexually
- 30:51Speaker 1: violent predator. And sentenced to three to ten years in
- 30:55Speaker 1: Pennsylvania State Prison. When he's released, he'll have to register
- 30:58Speaker 1: as a sex offender and undergo lifetime counseling and report
- 31:02Speaker 1: to authorities every quarter. Musical Legends, Stevie Wonder is having
- 31:06Speaker 1: a hard hard time grappling with Bill Cosby being locked up.
- 31:11Speaker 1: TMZ asked Stevie about cosby sentencing at l a X
- 31:15Speaker 1: take a listen. I respect the work that he's done.
- 31:19Speaker 1: His career is an artists and let's follow a lot
- 31:24Speaker 1: of people. Just pray God will give him mercy. Wow. Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 1: pratty God will give him mercy. Yeah, that's well said.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'm not that Elkins Elna speaker. I don't know what it's.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's so messed up, man, Yeah, I mean, especially you
- 31:47Speaker 1: being a comedian. I'm sure he was one of the
- 31:49Speaker 1: comedians you looked up to as you were starting your
- 31:52Speaker 1: career off Steve. You know, you guys became friends later
- 31:56Speaker 1: on in life, right after you had made it and everything.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, I mean, you know, it's like such
- 32:02Speaker 1: a It's it's just I had no idea of any
- 32:07Speaker 1: of this at no period. Has never been a discussion,
- 32:11Speaker 1: never heard a joke about it. Nothing until that that
- 32:14Speaker 1: comedian bought up something I didn't. That's the first I
- 32:20Speaker 1: had heard of it. So, you know, for me, man,
- 32:22Speaker 1: it's all it's like just a horrible situation all the
- 32:26Speaker 1: way around for him, the women. I mean, it's just
- 32:29Speaker 1: a horrible situation all the way around. And you know,
- 32:35Speaker 1: everybody screaming for jail time and everything. I don't, Uh,
- 32:40Speaker 1: it's it's so many ways to take the whipping God,
- 32:44Speaker 1: God for you, It's so many ways. Yeah, it's it's
- 32:50Speaker 1: it's just horrible to fall from graces like that. Yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: that can all. I mean, I hope he can't survive
- 33:03Speaker 1: at all. I hope that women can find some type
- 33:07Speaker 1: of all closure, something peace. Peace, you know, women, women
- 33:16Speaker 1: need peace so they can feel whole and move forward,
- 33:20Speaker 1: because I can't imagine what that's like for them. Is horrible.
- 33:27Speaker 1: And the judge, you're right, Carlin, and the judge was
- 33:30Speaker 1: saying that because we didn't show any remorse, and you know,
- 33:34Speaker 1: with all of that, I hope that he will have
- 33:37Speaker 1: time to reflect on what he's done and ask for
- 33:39Speaker 1: forgiveness and redemption and all of that, you know, and
- 33:43Speaker 1: have some remorse about this because it's tough. I mean,
- 33:46Speaker 1: of course it's tough on him and the women, but
- 33:48Speaker 1: it's tough on us too. We were all fans. We
- 33:50Speaker 1: grew up with this man. He was. Like we were
- 33:53Speaker 1: saying yesterday, it would go a long way because there
- 33:58Speaker 1: was a lot of payoffs and all of this, it
- 34:00Speaker 1: would go a long way. Probably. I don't know if
- 34:05Speaker 1: he would apologize, huh. But I don't know how people
- 34:11Speaker 1: who are in that position play it out. I don't
- 34:14Speaker 1: know if they think that's important to them or if
- 34:16Speaker 1: they're gonna keep their mouth shut and just do their time.
- 34:19Speaker 1: For me, knowing me the man that I am, it
- 34:23Speaker 1: would help me relief to apologize to a person, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and get forgiveness from that person as well. All right, Steve,
- 34:35Speaker 1: we do have to move on. Time for today's headline.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Missing and Tripp. Thank you very much,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and there's a lot to talk about. Good morning, everybody,
- 34:42Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Today is the
- 34:45Speaker 1: day that a woman who claims that Supreme Court nominee
- 34:48Speaker 1: Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a high school party,
- 34:51Speaker 1: Dr Christine blasie Ford. She's going to be questioned by
- 34:54Speaker 1: the Senate, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Republicans. Since they're
- 34:58Speaker 1: all men, eleven of them on the committee, they've asked
- 35:00Speaker 1: the sex crime prosecutor, a woman, Rachel Mitchell, to question
- 35:05Speaker 1: uh Dr Ford. A second woman came forward last week,
- 35:08Speaker 1: you know, with allegations of Kavanaugh's improper sexual behavior at
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yale University, and just yesterday a third woman came forward
- 35:15Speaker 1: with her allegations against the High Court nominee, allegations contained
- 35:19Speaker 1: in a sworn statement. So now Senate Minority Leader Chuck
- 35:22Speaker 1: Shrman says, you know, enough is enough. I strongly believe
- 35:25Speaker 1: Judge Kavanaugh should withdraw from consideration and the President should
- 35:30Speaker 1: withdraw this nomination if Kavanaugh won't do it voluntarily. If
- 35:34Speaker 1: he will not, at the very least, the hearing and
- 35:37Speaker 1: vote should be postponed while the FBI investigates all of
- 35:41Speaker 1: these very serious and very troubling allegations. Well, of course
- 35:46Speaker 1: that's not happening. The hearing gets underweigh at ten am.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And now late last night, a committee chairman, Republican Chuck Grassley,
- 35:53Speaker 1: he issued a statement of press release saying that there
- 35:56Speaker 1: are two other men who are claiming that they and
- 36:00Speaker 1: not Brett Kavanaugh attack. Dr Ford critics say that seems
- 36:03Speaker 1: mighty convenient anyway. President Trump says that he's going to
- 36:07Speaker 1: listen carefully to today's testimony, but he also seems to
- 36:09Speaker 1: see the whole situation as a political set up. Not
- 36:12Speaker 1: going to change any of the Democrats minds. Their obstructionists,
- 36:16Speaker 1: they're actually con artists because they know how quality this
- 36:19Speaker 1: man is and they've destroyed a man's reputation and they
- 36:22Speaker 1: want to destroy it even more. And I think people
- 36:24Speaker 1: are going to see that in the midterms, what they've
- 36:26Speaker 1: done to this family, what they've done to these children,
- 36:28Speaker 1: these beautiful children of his, and what they've done to
- 36:31Speaker 1: his wife. And they know it's a big, fat con
- 36:34Speaker 1: job no matter what. Though, the Republicans have scheduled a
- 36:37Speaker 1: final vote on Kavanaugh's nomination either tomorrow or Saturday. The
- 36:42Speaker 1: TRUP administration, by the way, he's proposing new immigration regulations now.
- 36:46Speaker 1: This one is aimed at so called public charges. Those
- 36:49Speaker 1: are immigrants who are receiving welfare benefits like food stamps
- 36:52Speaker 1: and the like. Under the new proposal, immigrants who are
- 36:55Speaker 1: receiving such benefits would no longer be eligible for green
- 36:58Speaker 1: cards and so orders of the suggested changes say they're
- 37:01Speaker 1: needed to reduce the burden on US taxpayers and the
- 37:05Speaker 1: money they put in for these these welfare benefits that
- 37:08Speaker 1: are being used by people who are not citizens. Immigrant
- 37:10Speaker 1: activists say such changes, though, are inhumane. O. J. Simpson
- 37:14Speaker 1: tells TMZ Get This that he thinks Bill Cosby should
- 37:16Speaker 1: have been sentenced to house arrest instead of time behind bars,
- 37:20Speaker 1: because he says, rapists are frowned upon in prison. And finally,
- 37:23Speaker 1: today is Honor your Ancestors Day, and we do and
- 37:28Speaker 1: I am part of the old one of the oldest
- 37:31Speaker 1: ethnic groups in this country, and very proud to say so.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Ear's up, Steve Harvey Nation. Find out if Uncle Steve
- 37:35Speaker 1: is smarter than his nephew. We'll be back twenty minutes
- 37:37Speaker 1: after the hour the Steve Harvy Morning Shows. You're listening
- 37:40Speaker 1: to the stew Uh today, Steve, the stage is set
- 37:45Speaker 1: for the Senate showdown over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Uh. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 1: this is a heavy day right here. The Senate Judiciary
- 37:53Speaker 1: Committee is planning to hear testimony from Kavanaugh and Dr
- 37:57Speaker 1: Christine blas Ford, who has accuted Tim of sexually assaulting
- 38:01Speaker 1: her back in high school. Then on Friday they will vote,
- 38:06Speaker 1: and they're saying right now they're not changing that as
- 38:08Speaker 1: of yet. One of the key questions going on in
- 38:11Speaker 1: today's hearings has also been answered, Who will ask the
- 38:14Speaker 1: questions on behalf of the eleven Republican men on the committee?
- 38:18Speaker 1: Will they have chosen Arizona Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell. She is
- 38:23Speaker 1: the Republican's choice to question Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Why her you ask? Well? While Mitchell is a registered Republican,
- 38:31Speaker 1: she has also worked for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office
- 38:35Speaker 1: in Phoenix for twenty six years. She specializes in prosecuting
- 38:40Speaker 1: sex crimes. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grasslely sent in
- 38:44Speaker 1: a statement, the goal is to dee politicize the process
- 38:48Speaker 1: and get into the truth instead of grandstanding and giving
- 38:51Speaker 1: senators an opportunity to launch their presidential campaigns. Suppose doing
- 38:57Speaker 1: hearing today, that's some information and comes out that requires
- 39:02Speaker 1: for the investigation. Because the only thing can happen is
- 39:07Speaker 1: something's gonna be said, an accusation is gonna be made.
- 39:11Speaker 1: He's gonna deny the accusation, so to keep it from
- 39:14Speaker 1: being he said. She said that has to be an investigation.
- 39:20Speaker 1: They've already ruled that out. All this saying is we
- 39:24Speaker 1: want to hear you out and then we're gonna vote,
- 39:28Speaker 1: and then they don't care what he did to this woman.
- 39:34Speaker 1: They could care less. And you know, Steve, there's another woman.
- 39:39Speaker 1: We didn't talk about this yet, but another woman has
- 39:41Speaker 1: come forward. She's Her attorney is Michael Avanati, who we
- 39:44Speaker 1: know from representing Stormy Daniels. A third woman. There's a
- 39:51Speaker 1: third woman. Yes, uh yeah, So Brett Kavanaugh is facing
- 39:55Speaker 1: new allegations of sexual miscontact. This woman claims he and
- 39:58Speaker 1: his friend spiked punch a parties in order to assault women,
- 40:01Speaker 1: and says she was gang raped at one of them.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Her name is Julie sweat Nick. She claimed she attended
- 40:07Speaker 1: high school parties in the early eighties where Kavanaugh and
- 40:10Speaker 1: his friend Mike Judge were present. In a sworn affidavit,
- 40:14Speaker 1: she says she witnessed their efforts to cause girls to
- 40:16Speaker 1: become inebriated so they would lose their inhibitions and not
- 40:20Speaker 1: be able to say no again. The hearings are today.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Ford will testify today and Kavanaugh will testify today, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: they're they're still scheduled to take the vote tomorrow. We'll
- 40:31Speaker 1: keep you updated. Nephew Tommy is coming up next with
- 40:34Speaker 1: are you smarter than Nephew Tommy? He felt smart yesterday.
- 40:39Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve show. All right, it is time
- 40:43Speaker 1: to play are you smarter the nephew Tommy wasn't so
- 40:46Speaker 1: stressful yesterday. Let's see how it goes today, Tommy, you
- 40:51Speaker 1: want to play Steve again? Today? You beat him yesterday?
- 40:54Speaker 1: You beat him yesterday, Play him again. I got my
- 40:59Speaker 1: i'most days and later to night, I'm yeah, I'm I've
- 41:03Speaker 1: got my mind opening. You know, it's breathing, it's it's
- 41:07Speaker 1: it's working my cerebrial okay, And I feel shamed after
- 41:11Speaker 1: yesterday I went home and they asked my kids for forgiveness.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Why what do you mean, father? That's by losing the
- 41:23Speaker 1: game by The questions were a bit jaded and shaded.

- 54:15Speaker 1: Right after this, my mom, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 54:21Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, right now, it is time for
- 54:23Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter for today. And if you need advice
- 54:26Speaker 1: and relationships on dating, work, sex, parenting, and more, please
- 54:29Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey f M and
- 54:33Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. Right, Steve, you know it. Buckle up,
- 54:44Speaker 1: hold on tight, We got it for you. Here. It
- 54:46Speaker 1: is the Strawberry letter subject. I am so sick of
- 54:49Speaker 1: my daughter. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm tired of motherhood. Sorry,
- 54:54Speaker 1: but I am no longer interested in being a mother.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm a twenty I am twenty eight years old, and
- 54:59Speaker 1: I have a i've year old daughter that is disrespectful, obnoxious,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and a constant source of embarrassment in public. She is
- 55:07Speaker 1: out of control on a daily basis. Beating her behind
- 55:10Speaker 1: does not help, and I don't know what else to do.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I have tried many ways of disciplining her. Reverse psychology
- 55:17Speaker 1: and time out don't work on her. I can't seem
- 55:20Speaker 1: to get through to her without yelling and arguing. Why
- 55:23Speaker 1: am I arguing with a five year old? I recently
- 55:26Speaker 1: got divorced and my daughter and I live with my parents.
- 55:30Speaker 1: My child never had a great relationship with her dad
- 55:33Speaker 1: because he can't control her either. My parents see that
- 55:36Speaker 1: I have no control over her, and they try to
- 55:38Speaker 1: stay out of it as much as possible, but it's
- 55:41Speaker 1: hard to overlook her behavior. We have been to counseling
- 55:44Speaker 1: and the doctor suggested that I put her on medication.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I don't want to take that route yet. She will
- 55:50Speaker 1: start school soon and I want her to get it
- 55:53Speaker 1: together before then. I don't want her labeled as a
- 55:56Speaker 1: problem child or be medicated daily. I do have faith
- 55:59Speaker 1: in Odd and I am hopeful that God will fix
- 56:02Speaker 1: it for me. What should I do? Help me? There's
- 56:06Speaker 1: a lot going on, um in this letter with the
- 56:09Speaker 1: five year old that's disrespectful, obnoxious, in a constant source
- 56:12Speaker 1: of embarrassment in public. Uh, you said you just got divorced.
- 56:16Speaker 1: That could be a lot of why she's acting out
- 56:19Speaker 1: because you know she misses her home situation with her
- 56:23Speaker 1: dad being there and all of that. Um. But I
- 56:26Speaker 1: do get what you're saying. A lot of parents, every
- 56:29Speaker 1: parent gets tired at some point. It is understandable. What
- 56:33Speaker 1: I don't understand is why after you, after your ex
- 56:37Speaker 1: you said, your your ex husband, um, and even your
- 56:40Speaker 1: parents cann't control her. So why don't you listen to
- 56:43Speaker 1: the doctor. You took her to a therapist, you took
- 56:47Speaker 1: her to counseling, and they suggested medication. He's a professional.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I'm not discounting the fact you say in your letter
- 56:56Speaker 1: that you do have faith in God and you're hopeful
- 56:57Speaker 1: that God will fix it for me. Well, of course,
- 57:00Speaker 1: there's nothing too hard for God. God can do anything.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Nothing is impossible. Yes, absolutely, God can fix everything. But
- 57:07Speaker 1: please please know that there are people on this earth
- 57:10Speaker 1: that are working in their God appointed gives their purpose. Uh.
- 57:15Speaker 1: That means lawyers, that means pastors, teachers, journalists, and yes, doctors, okay, doctors.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Uh so what should you do you ask at the
- 57:24Speaker 1: end of your letter. I think you should listen to
- 57:27Speaker 1: your doctors in this instance. I mean, you don't know
- 57:29Speaker 1: what's going on with your daughter. She may have some
- 57:31Speaker 1: sort of chemical and balance you don't know, but the
- 57:34Speaker 1: doctor is a professional. If you don't like what he said,
- 57:37Speaker 1: get a second opinion, get a third opinion. You do
- 57:40Speaker 1: want your daughter to go to school and have a
- 57:41Speaker 1: productive life and have a great life, so you know
- 57:44Speaker 1: she's going to start school soon. Uh, don't just leave
- 57:48Speaker 1: this up to chance. Continue this quest to get your
- 57:51Speaker 1: get your daughter the help that she so rightfully needs
- 57:55Speaker 1: and deserves. Steve, I don't know, I don't I don't
- 57:59Speaker 1: know if to talk about this on it like this.
- 58:01Speaker 1: First of all, let me say this, Shirley Strawberry. I
- 58:04Speaker 1: think that everything you said was absolutely spot on. I
- 58:09Speaker 1: could not have given a more dignified Therefore, I'm not
- 58:14Speaker 1: gonna try. So I want to just say before I
- 58:17Speaker 1: started talking that everything Shirley Strawberry just said, I concur
- 58:23Speaker 1: one thousand percent that are professional people that can help
- 58:28Speaker 1: with this. You should go to therapy. You should get
- 58:31Speaker 1: all them doctors. God la la la la la la
- 58:34Speaker 1: la finish. He is the key to this whole thing.
- 58:40Speaker 1: She is out of control on a daily basis. Beat
- 58:45Speaker 1: team hub behind does not help, and I don't know
- 58:49Speaker 1: what else to do. Well, let me introduce you to something.
- 58:54Speaker 1: See that beating hub behind. I bet this five year
- 58:58Speaker 1: old has not had a lost Vera Harvey asked, women,
- 59:03Speaker 1: See I'm had and it loss. Vera Harvey asked, Whipping
- 59:09Speaker 1: that cured all my eels. Every time I produce one
- 59:16Speaker 1: hardheadedness talking back, I rolled it. Huh what all that
- 59:25Speaker 1: stuff got? All that got cuted? I only said humh
- 59:31Speaker 1: one time. Guess where he lost? Very Harvey did gave
- 59:35Speaker 1: me a lost Very Harvey and whip. I ain't saying
- 59:37Speaker 1: hunted my mama SIPs. What I'm outside playing, Steve? What
- 59:46Speaker 1: I was playing basketball? I got caught up soon as
- 59:51Speaker 1: I said, and I tried to swallow my basketball, the basketball.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I tried to push it in my mouth that big
- 59:59Speaker 1: I don't give it. Damn. I tried to swallow that
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: damn basketball. Guess what happened to meet del lost Vera Harvey.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: A whooping yeah, yeah, uh, I ain't say that. Another
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: ass whoopy? Be hard? When the street light come on?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Street light, come on. I'm still down the street talking
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: to Janette Hawkins. Another ill lost Vera Harvey ass. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times, how many times I've
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: had to take one. So this fact that you have
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: beat your child and it ain't help, I disagree. I disagree.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Now all this counselor Shirley want to send you to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and all this other stuff, all that's cool, but don't
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: write me in talk about a five old. You can't control?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: How you can't control the five year? Don't you feed? Huh?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: What she stayed? Who bought her clothes? Who do her hair?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: What if I control all that? I control? You? Timehouse
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't work? How about you ain't eating today? What fool?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Hard to fight when you're hungry. I don't give a damn.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: She is five. She acts like she foughted. She disrespectful.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: She ain't got no relationship with this woman's father. She
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: disrespecting him, disrespecting her. She don't know what to do.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: She finish, Send it fool up to school. Now you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: gotta teach her from the deal with just ignorant five
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: year old. Ain't nobody fitting to do all this with
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: this five year old? Five? Take this thirty year old? Ask,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: but I bet you will be five? Hum. Okay, Steve,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: let's stop it right there and come back with part two.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: If you're in to today's the letter, the subject I
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Am so sick of my daughter will be back in
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve Show.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are part two of the
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter for it. I really don't know how we
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: got a part too. You got a five year old
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: that can't nobody control. You got a five year old
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: that the mama can't control, The daddy of the baby
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: can't controller. The parents see that the baby out of control.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: They're trying to stay out of it. But the girls
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: behavior crazy. The doctors want to put your baby on medication.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: You don't want to go there. Well, what can we
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: do instead of medication? I have told you the in
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Lost Vera, Harvey ash Poop and Academy pass openings. In it,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I can share with you the things my mama has
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: done to me that turned me into the and that
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I am today. So what we have is Junior is

- 1:14:37Speaker 1: he should have gotten off because it was just too much. Yes,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: it was just too much. Like you said, women's voices
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: were heard. It was too many women who have been
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: put in a pain for position. Yes, it was just
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: too many. That's one. It's too many that's one too many.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: He should have pleaded was a slew of slew and

- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I mean, you know, And so at one point, man,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: you have to go, Okay, wait a minute, man, hold on,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: though this is too much, This is over and the
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: same story. They don't know each other. He should have
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: pleaded like your night, Steve, you're talking about Shirley Mama.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: My dad is saying, I'm with you. Tell the world
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: turned against you. When the world turned against you, I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: got to go with the world because all them people
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: can't be wrong. But my father also said, time and
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: make a monkey eat red pepper. Yeah, he also said
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: that too. T I m e. Time will make a monkey.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Time would make a monkey eat red pepper. You know
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: what that means? Be patient? If the monkey getting hungry enough,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: he would eat the red pepper. What mean? Yeah, that's
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: what that means. But that's a really bad. That bad
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: a lot of systems. If you want to eat Hey, man,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: see your Harvard. Listen to me. I got a hole
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: gonna go up if you fall after country sayings that
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: make a lot of sense. That's the next book. Tatoes
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: as chips, even if they're in a laza. Got a
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: lot of sense, a lot of wisdoms, a lot of heads,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: a lot of wisdom. What we want. Welcome baby. Coming
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Color is here
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: with reality update. Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Tommy, come on, it's time, let's go,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: let's get ready. She is here. Buckle up, y'all. It's
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Carla's Reality Update. All right, thank you, nephew. So, guys,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about Married to Medicine. It's back. Yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: this is the show about the doctors and their husband's
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: because some of them are female doctors on the show,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and then we have some of the male doctors on
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the show and their wives. So anyway, Dr Heavenly, she's
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: a mess, Yes, she is a mess. She's a dentist
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: on the show. And she had a party at the house.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: You know how they do, y'all. They had these parties
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: and then it all jumps off. So Quad, she was
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: upset because I don't know, Quad and Simone they're having
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: some issues, but they feel like basically that Quad is
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: hiding and fronting about what's going on in her marriage,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: and that her husband it was some infidelity and some
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: issues about another woman that he admitted to at a
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: hotel room. So they feel like that she's pulling like
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: kind of like a disappearing act, you know, not really
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: being honest with the girls about what's going on in
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: her marriage. And Simone go ahead, Shirley, No, I'm saying
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: it's her marriage though, you don't have to discuss that
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: with You don't have to discuss that if you choose
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: not to with your friends. Right Well, she's saying that
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Quad is saying that she no shade, that she's just
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: private like dealing with that. But they're saying that, you know,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: we're all opening up talking about what's going on in
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: our lives and our marriage, and you're not telling us
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: what's going on with you. Because Simona and her husband Dr.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Simona her husband Cecil, they're having problems and they're not
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: having sex regularly. You know, they're having some issues too.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: But she's saying she's opening up and talking to the
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: girls about that and that Quad is not doing that.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: So that's why Quad and Simona are having some issues
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: and then Mariah, she dropped the bomb. Shouldn't you hear
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: a problem? Shouldn't you keep having sex even if you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: having problems? Don't that help the problems? On Carlin, that's
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: what you're saying, that's gonna help the marriage and just
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: continue to let's let's on something problems. You don't want
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: to do it. We can't get bills together, we can
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: get your bedroom together, sayings. And Simona Cecil, you know
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you're rooting for them too. And the Jackie and her husband,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: you know, they got back together. They had issues of
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: his infidelity last season, so things are looking good for them.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: They're on the road to mending their marriage. And then
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: you know Maria. Now I know Maria on the show.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: She is a is a friend of mine, and yeah
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: she's a trip though she's executive producer. Yeah, I know her,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I know her well. Her and Mariah go back pacified.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: But she dropped a bomb on Dr Heavenly, saying that
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: she had receipts and invoices to prove that Dr Heavenly's
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: husband was cheating. And you know that's what that's the thing.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: So Mariah, where are these receipts? Stop talking about it?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: And the only way Maria has some receipts is you
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: the girl he cheating with. Oh I'm just, I'm just
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I don't even see this show. But how you come
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: to your girl? You got some receipts that proved our
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: husband chief? Where you get some receipts from exactly? That's
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: what everybody's like, Well, where are these magical receipts and
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: invoices that you got? But Dr Heavenly is very secure
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: in her marriage. She doesn't believe any of that. You know.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: She calls her husband daddy and Daddy. She said, Daddy
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: is not cheating. She is all good on that. I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: don't think I don't think that neither. Dr Damon, I
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: don't think. So who else calling man dad? It was
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: somebody else. Boy's real real? Yeah? Sorry, God, moving on?
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Get me just Daddy. So Dr Heavenly she's been going
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: to anger management because you know she will pop off
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: any minute. Whoa her clapback? I lived for it because
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: my girl is ready. And uh. The anger management therapist
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: he told her that she's emotionally immature and that she's
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: very defensive and she needs to look back into her
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: life and see what went on with her childhood and
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: she did think about it and said she did beef
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: a lot with her sister and that she felt like
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: her mom kind of pushed her more to be this
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: dentist and be this doctor. So she kind of agreed
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: with what the anger management therapist was telling her. She
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: was saying her sister was the pretty one and she
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: was the smart one. Yes, yes, and so there's some
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: issues that she has. So you know what they say.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: You know, you spend your whole adulthood getting over your childhood.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: So that is married to medicine. It's not in my
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: whole adulthood getting on my childhood. I got gonna make
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: this money. I can't worry about my damn wagon. What's
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: done is done. At that time, they stole my bike
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: and dealing with that, I feel you, I feel you
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: hit me up. I lives about Carla. We could talk
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: more about married to medicine. Hey, you know when I
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: got over my childhood? In my childhood, what do you mean, Steve?
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: In your childhood? You know, just I just dealt with

- 1:22:29Speaker 1: really important when you're talking about your dad. Last week
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: you said you didn't have money for therapy, and a
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: lot of black people did not have money for therapy.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Something to deal with it, whatever came. I'm not and
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I'm not a person who requires therapy. Now, there are
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: people who can use it, and therapy is real and
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: it helps a lot of people. I'm not a therapy
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: type person. I got relationship with God. I used a
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: weapon of prayer and I'm fine. I ain't got no
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: money for taking notes on the damn legal pad. I
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: know what I said and why I'm supposed to tell you.

- 1:26:06Speaker 1: do right now because I'm busy playing the game. Oh
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: all right, let me tell you guys about this couple
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: out of Texas. This is a crazy story right here.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Just three months ago, three months into their marriage. I
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: should say a Texas couple got the surprise of their
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: lives after discovering that the bride was actually the groom's
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: biological grand daughter. All right. The Wichita Falls couple, who
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: have requested to remain anonymous, came to the startling discovery
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: while looking through the sixty eight year old photo albums,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: which included pictures of his first wife and their children.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: His twenty four year old wife instantly recognized one of
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: the children as her strange father, who she says kicked
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: her out of the house when she was a teenager
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: after she accidentally gotten pregnant. As the husband explained, he
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: and his first wife had gone through a terrible split
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: and when she left him, she took their kids with
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: her and moved to an undisclosed location. Despite his efforts
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: to find them, he was never able to well. Later
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: time went by and the sixty eight year old ended
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: up winning several million dollars in the lottery, and he
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: found love again and marries his twenty four year old wife.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Despite finally figuring it out, however, the couple have decided
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: to stay together and have no plans of getting to
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: and We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve Oh Jay says Bill
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Cosby will be a target in prison. He is calling
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: for house arrest. H o J is concerned that Bill
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Cosby will be attacked by some nut in prison and
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: if anybody should know, it will be o J. Right.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Of course. O J's been about nine years behind bars
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: in Nevada for kidnapping an armed robbery, and he warns
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: that people like Cosby, convicted sex offenders, don't do well
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: behind bars. O J says, the problem is the nature
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: of the crime. He said, Well, he said this all
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: while golfing out in Nevada. He says, rapists are frowned
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: upon in prison. Take a listen. Well, if he goes
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: to prison, I'm sure that we guys protect him, but
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: they're gonna have to put him in protect the custody
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: because it takes one nut. You know, the problem is
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: the nature of the crime. You know, rapist frown frowned
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: upon in prison. And uh, but with his health, in
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: his age and the nature of the crime. That's not
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: a warden in this country want the responsibility of the Bill.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Bill caused me, I think they should let him do
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: his time in the house arrest. You know, let me
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: say something they say it, say it to yourself. You
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: might you might want to hold up. I don't care
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: what and gotten myself and one this is the last
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: damn person that I won't speaking on my bedad Why
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: did they ask him anything? All that wind in the background.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: He on the course, Yeah, he on the course. Holding
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: up the game is what he knew. You know. What's
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: what's crazy? Is he What he's saying is true. It's
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: just don't nobody to give a damn what o J. Yeah,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: you got that right. I just I would be like bro,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: bro don't don't don't say. But yeah, they did ask him.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: He O J said that he thinks the punishment is
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: too severe. He's calling for mercy, he says, with his
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: health and with his age, in the nature of the crime,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: there's not a warden in this country that wants the
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: responsibility of Bill Cosby. Well, well, it is going to
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: be a problem, he knows, because you're dealing with I
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: profile just famous rich. Oh. He can't defend himself, no level.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: He's gonna have to pay people to take care of him,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: and he's gonna get plenty offers, especially if you're gonna stay.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: He's gonna get plenty offers. Oh, hes gonna get plenty offers.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: But you don't want o. Jay told how you commentating course?
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: With you many times as famous as you are. I
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: did not see a report on your on your golf course.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: You can't steal your stuff. That's your stuff. He's though
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: he was trying to steal his stuff back. He can't
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: get his what oh without getting caught? Jack? How you
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: get off from murder? But anyway, Yeah, you even talking Cosby?
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: I mean you know his intimate number in in seven
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: six eight seven? What what did you write it down in? Yeah?
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: Yeah eight seven? No you don't, Yes, we already got
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: an idea. All right, we'll be back with more of
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. One more break we have
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: left to close out the show with some closing remarks
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey. You're listening to
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we are, Steve.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Last break of the day. It's been a good day.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: A lot of stuff going on in the world, Jesus,
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: but we need a break from all of this, That's
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: why we love having you, Steve. So you can give
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: us some closing remarks, some words today. Oftentimes my best
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: closing remarks remark that are reflective of something that I'm
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: going through, have been through, or experienced. And so today
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: is gonna be in the vein. I want to talk
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: to you all today about faith. Faith, the purest definition
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: of faith to me, this is to me, now, I
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: don't know how other people view faith. I'm just talking
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: about the purest definition of faith to me is simply this.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: That's what faith really means to me. Faith is to
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see. That categorizes faith
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: for me. That exemplifies faith for me, That expresses faith
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: for me that somehow, over the years I have managed
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: to understand that faith is in the belief in things
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: that you cannot see. So when situations beset me, when
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: circumstances run up into me, when I find myself in
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: something that I have no control over, that that circumstances
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: just set theirselves right in front of my door. And
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, I get the phone calls
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: hey man, you all right, Hey, man hanging now man
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: so sad to hear the news. You know. I had
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: a slew of that this week because of some article
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: that came out about the show Friends from Cleveland, and
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I appreciate it all. But I'm gonna tell you something
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: that I'm drawing on. I'm drawing on this thing called faith.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: I'm drawing on some words that my mother told me
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: when she was young. When I was young, my mama
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She always
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: taught me that I don't believe God brought me this
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: far to leave me. There is no way that God
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: got me to this place to leave me. See his
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: where faith comes in. I firmly believe that when one
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: door closes, God has another one to open up. See.
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: I never stand in the doorway that's closing in my
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: face and keep knocking on that door. Y'all need to
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: open this door back up. I'm not gonna stand there
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: and try to force my way back in the door.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna take care of my business. Of course, faith
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: without works is dead. But I do not get crippled
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: and crumbled over. The predictions are the thoughts of somebody else.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: Somebody come to me and tell me what they're gonna
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: do to me. How many times have you had somebody
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: come to you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: do to you? How many times have you had a
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: boss confront you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: do to you? And they say it with the full
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: intent of shaking you up? And sometimes it work, don't it.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: You go home and you shake it. Let me offer
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: you something, stop shaking. Don't worry, don't be dismayed. There's
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: no way God brought you this far to leave. See
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: the people are talking about taking stuff from you, They
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: didn't give it to you in the first place. What
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: they don't know that your steps was ordered by God.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: What they don't know that God positioned you right where
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: he wanted you to be at a particular time. They
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: had no choice that to put you in the position
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: because God had ordered it. Soul. So when they come
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: along and they started talking about take can you out
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: of position? What you're worried about? That fault? You don't think.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: You don't think that you have an option here. You
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: don't think that the God you served that put you
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: where he wanted you to be placed. You don't think
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: he see all of this I do. I think he
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: sees me. I think he places me right where he
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: wanted me to be placed. I think he has people
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: saying things about me so I can hear it. I
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: think he's allowing people to think that they're making decisions
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: because they want to. I believe that they don't know
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: that God has always working on my behalf behind the
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: scenes always. Why because I believe and I trusted him.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: That's why He always working on my behalf. That is no,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: I'm not an evil person. I'm not an unrighteous person.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: I'm really a good person. I'm flawed, but I'm a
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: good person. I don't set out to hurt nobody. I
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: ain't trying to step on nobody. So when somebody bring
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: me some disparaging news about what they're gonna do to me,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: in the words of Bishop T. D. Jake's, you got
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: to be careful how you handle me, Be very careful
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: how you handle me. Because I happened to be a
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: child of the Most High. What He's done for me
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: in the past, he can you continue to do for
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: me in the future. I have no fear of what
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: you're claiming that you will do to me, Because God
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: didn't bring me this far to leave me that I'm
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: certain of. Faith is the belief in things that you
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: cannot see. And even though I can't see what he's
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: doing right now, I bet he's doing something. I'm excited
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: about the future of what God got for me. Those
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: are my clothing. You better know it yourself. A good
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: WEEKI because I am faith. Baby. Did you dropped the
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: micro dress yourself? What did you do? All right? Thank
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: you everyone, We love you. Bye bye. For all Steve
