- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milician buck things in its cubbing, not doing
- 0:19Speaker 1: me true good. It be Steve Hart to move to
- 0:26Speaker 1: other ste Please, I don't join join me to be
- 0:52Speaker 1: doing me. You gotta turn hurting the You gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out, turning. Got to turn out, then
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come Come on your
- 1:58Speaker 1: fat it uhha, I show will a good morning everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey oh Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Man got a radio show, and a whole lot more
- 2:14Speaker 1: to man. God is good to me. I have no
- 2:17Speaker 1: other explanation, if I have no other explanation of my
- 2:21Speaker 1: existence and where I stand in this thing called life,
- 2:25Speaker 1: except if it was not for the goodness of God Almighty.
- 2:29Speaker 1: If it was not for His grace and his mercy,
- 2:32Speaker 1: There's no way I could exist the way that I do.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I would not be who I am or where I am.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I am who I am and where I am simply
- 2:43Speaker 1: because God is who he is. If it was not
- 2:48Speaker 1: for God, I would have no testimony for you, because
- 2:52Speaker 1: I would have failed every single test plain, pure and simple.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I can sit here today until you flat out that
- 3:03Speaker 1: it is purely because of God's grace and mercy that
- 3:08Speaker 1: I exist today because of His favor. See now He
- 3:12Speaker 1: shows us favor in life because of a combination of
- 3:16Speaker 1: things I've discovered. And this is not the whole answer
- 3:20Speaker 1: to life. I can assure you as not. But this
- 3:23Speaker 1: is a combination that I've grown to understand better and better,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and I wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But here it is. If you take faith and you
- 3:37Speaker 1: combine it with an incredible work ethic, then God has
- 3:48Speaker 1: the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best
- 3:54Speaker 1: way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
- 3:59Speaker 1: It is the common They should have faith and work
- 4:03Speaker 1: that produces the most opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 4:08Speaker 1: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So
- 4:14Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:22Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:28Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:31Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith intact through it all,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the
- 4:42Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See without
- 4:48Speaker 1: that what you want God to do? See, you can
- 4:50Speaker 1: have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 4:55Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:00Speaker 1: or your favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:08Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:11Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:14Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:18Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:21Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:25Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:27Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:30Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
- 5:33Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 5:37Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 5:40Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 5:45Speaker 1: faith is. You know you're standing at let me give
- 5:48Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with a walk
- 5:51Speaker 1: sign on it, and the sign flashing on the corner.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Don't walk then that the signs say walk. What do
- 6:00Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Is well pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what. You strike out blindly.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
- 6:17Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
- 6:21Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
- 6:24Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
- 6:34Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 6:36Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
- 6:38Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
- 6:41Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
- 6:44Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See that's not
- 6:48Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
- 6:53Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See if it's sin
- 6:59Speaker 1: in it, it it ain't God. You can just clear
- 7:02Speaker 1: on up right there. You can stop all the wandering.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If that's his voice talking to you, if it's the
- 7:07Speaker 1: right thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's
- 7:11Speaker 1: not God talking to you, kill it you you you
- 7:16Speaker 1: can shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Go down there, secret venge That ain't God. Go tell
- 7:21Speaker 1: him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's God's sin in it, is not God's voice telling
- 7:27Speaker 1: you to do it, So you can you can kill
- 7:28Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you align yourself up man and you and what you're
- 7:35Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
- 7:38Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And see here's here's here's the best way I can
- 7:46Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 7:51Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal or vision for yourself,
- 8:00Speaker 1: you know where you want to get to, you got
- 8:02Speaker 1: a good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to get hard, when it gets difficult and it
- 8:13Speaker 1: is going to get difficult when it becomes challenging, and
- 8:17Speaker 1: it is going to become challenging when it becomes all
- 8:21Speaker 1: three of those things. When it don't look like it's
- 8:23Speaker 1: gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I know he didn't bless me. But in the middle
- 8:31Speaker 1: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
- 8:34Speaker 1: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See,
- 8:40Speaker 1: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:44Speaker 1: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
- 8:48Speaker 1: go to you actually own your way there still. See,
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight
- 8:55Speaker 1: of your blessing that's actually happening. It to you, what really, man,
- 9:00Speaker 1: And of all the times to register a complaint to God,
- 9:04Speaker 1: to sit up and go, hey, man, I didn't want
- 9:07Speaker 1: wanted to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you in. It's it's a tornado world around you. You You
- 9:13Speaker 1: ain't got time to ease back in. You got it
- 9:15Speaker 1: going and jump back in it. It is what it
- 9:17Speaker 1: is to whom much is given, much is required, always
- 9:21Speaker 1: appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught up into complaints
- 9:24Speaker 1: that you lose sight of the blessings. Man, God got
- 9:26Speaker 1: a lot for you in your life, man, but you
- 9:29Speaker 1: gotta have them two things, y'all. You gotta take that
- 9:31Speaker 1: faith and you got to apply a crazy work ethic
- 9:36Speaker 1: to it. And that creates the most opportunities for God
- 9:40Speaker 1: to show your favor. And when God starts showing your favor, Man,
- 9:43Speaker 1: all of them seeds you planted, all of that, all
- 9:46Speaker 1: of that wheat you've been sewing, all of that hard
- 9:49Speaker 1: work you've been put in. God will pay it off.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And he'll pay it off in ways that you don't
- 9:54Speaker 1: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening. Show ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your attention please. I'm just I'm just needing it.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's morning time. It's to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's
- 10:11Speaker 1: time to get it on and cracking. Let's not waste
- 10:14Speaker 1: a minute. Shirley straw bed Hey, good morning. Ain't happy holiday, Steve?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Happy holiday? Should call it for red? Hey, crew, what's up? Steve?
- 10:25Speaker 1: What's up? Crew? One time, the one and only the
- 10:29Speaker 1: living young legend in the making, Junior Boy come on,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to make a story out myself. Come on,
- 10:36Speaker 1: boy writing it Kingo Prank's nephew Tommy. What a dude,
- 10:43Speaker 1: What a dude topping the morning? That's my uncle. Y'all
- 10:46Speaker 1: Shareley Carling Junior? Holiday time, ain't it? Yeah? Lord? Yes,
- 10:55Speaker 1: fourteen days till Christmas? Ain't that crak? Like Jordan? Yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 1: like my son. Yes, boy, I remember when the countdown
- 11:06Speaker 1: started right after Thanksgiving? Yeah, and it was it was
- 11:11Speaker 1: miserable when I would say eighteen more days. Yeah, I
- 11:15Speaker 1: thought that. I used to think eighteen days was just
- 11:17Speaker 1: like the damn near death senses. Yeah, like getting time. Yeah,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you know, five more days gifts. Now most of us
- 11:28Speaker 1: are married with the exceptional junior. So now the question
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'm proposing this morning, I was wondering, what do you
- 11:36Speaker 1: get your spouse this year? After you've been buying gifts
- 11:42Speaker 1: for a number of years? What did you get your
- 11:44Speaker 1: spouse this year? Caller? You know I'm trying to figure
- 11:51Speaker 1: it out. Tish's training for a marathon, to run half
- 11:54Speaker 1: a marathon. Huh, So you know, Tosh, you mean ty shush,
- 12:06Speaker 1: tell Tosh that aunt said shit his ass down somewhere
- 12:11Speaker 1: for you mess up, can't go to work, you can
- 12:15Speaker 1: pull it off. Well, you know he runs every day.
- 12:18Speaker 1: He runs eight miles every day every day. I know that. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: he's a runner. He likes y'all. So he's trying to
- 12:27Speaker 1: get up to thirteen. So that's the hand, that's the half. Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: So what you're gonna do, you know, running athletic wear?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Like yeah, I guess it's hard to buy for your spouse.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Like you say, people, excuse excuse me? What is the
- 12:45Speaker 1: hate on the damn running shoes? Trying to provide for this?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Un I've been running in so far, I know, running
- 13:01Speaker 1: in Wales, Fargo every day. Now you let your man, now, ladies, ladies,
- 13:05Speaker 1: let me say this. Let your man give you some
- 13:09Speaker 1: damn that's argument. Oh yeah, for sure, for sure. So
- 13:16Speaker 1: what you're trying to say three days? Oh oh oh,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I needs to be running? Can suggestions, Steve? Yeah, maybe
- 13:28Speaker 1: we can do it. Well, let's do this. Can can
- 13:30Speaker 1: we continue this conversation? Nor show? Yeah? Say all right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, Steve's
- 13:39Speaker 1: gonna give us some tips on holiday gift giving. Right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve? When
- 13:47Speaker 1: we left off. You wanted to help us and our
- 13:51Speaker 1: gift giving situations coming up this Christmas. So you started
- 13:56Speaker 1: off with Carla. She said she was gonna give Tis
- 13:58Speaker 1: some running shoes and year because he yes, now he's
- 14:02Speaker 1: a marathoner. And you said, right, he's training for marathon's
- 14:05Speaker 1: his first one. Yes, all right, But Steve didn't like
- 14:10Speaker 1: that idea for my husband. He didn't like it. Something
- 14:15Speaker 1: get him. He bought you some running shoes, like I said, ladies,
- 14:19Speaker 1: yours me there and had you some day and running shoes.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I didn't treat How would you feel the voice paper?
- 14:25Speaker 1: My father ass needs to be job? You know me?
- 14:29Speaker 1: Well don't yeah, and and and and and so what
- 14:34Speaker 1: is your fluffy ass trying to say? You the man
- 14:38Speaker 1: got to get in salted. Yeah, yeah, so give me

- 14:48Speaker 1: find out what surely gonna get, oh her husband first,
- 14:51Speaker 1: what you're thinking about? Thank you? Okay, I already know
- 14:57Speaker 1: what I know. I already know what I'm gonna get
- 14:58Speaker 1: to my thought already. I picked it out. It's a
- 15:01Speaker 1: um and you like this, Steve. It's a blue velvet,
- 15:06Speaker 1: uh like dinner jacket you know. It's really beautiful. It's
- 15:11Speaker 1: really really pretty. Yeah, it's from you know, Miguel Wilson
- 15:16Speaker 1: and Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, the brother that owns that
- 15:19Speaker 1: formal wear store. It's from his store. No, I haven't
- 15:22Speaker 1: seen everybody, Phipps Plaza. Everybody shared. Yeah anyway, ballet parking
- 15:29Speaker 1: on up everybody? Yeah, everyway. Anyway, that's what I'm getting
- 15:36Speaker 1: him for Christmas. Stay on subject, Tommy. Okay, that's it,
- 15:45Speaker 1: just one. It's a lot. Yeah, it's like I'm not
- 15:49Speaker 1: giving three folks. Na, Tommy. Women don't do that. That's
- 15:59Speaker 1: all they do, Tommy. Very beautiful and very elegant, and
- 16:03Speaker 1: it's lovely. So Tommy, what do you face with this year?
- 16:08Speaker 1: What's your deliver I don't know what to get because

- 16:28Speaker 1: keep hope alive. You can do it. Talk about that? Uh,
- 16:30Speaker 1: let me ask what y'all think about that? That refrigerator
- 16:33Speaker 1: has got the Internet on it. Boy, you give your
- 16:39Speaker 1: wife a day refrigerator, so everybody gonna use the commercial
- 16:47Speaker 1: Elegerior is talking about it. Yeah, that's a fly refrigerator,
- 16:53Speaker 1: the one with the Internet on it. You know, she
- 16:58Speaker 1: gonna tell you, I gotta refrigerator, and I got the
- 17:01Speaker 1: internet appliances cliances. That wasn't even confidence we're gonna go
- 17:10Speaker 1: with it. Yeah, yeah, he thought you and Steve were

- 21:06Speaker 1: Let's go cap yall man always te Hello, Hello, I'm
- 21:16Speaker 1: trying to reach Carlos. Said, my name Benny Man, Benny Phipps.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Hey you. I want to make sure I got the
- 21:23Speaker 1: right person. You. You you work for a post office right? Uh? Yeah, okay?
- 21:27Speaker 1: Do you deliver mail off of Murphy Road? Uh? Sometimes? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I live it. First of all, I wanted to make
- 21:34Speaker 1: sure I had the right postman. Nah. It's been brought
- 21:37Speaker 1: to my attention that there's a postman that has been
- 21:40Speaker 1: stopping by my house. And I'm what I'm not understanding
- 21:44Speaker 1: is why are you bringing mail to my door? A
- 21:47Speaker 1: post to just putting mail in the mailboxes on the
- 21:49Speaker 1: street where everybody got their mailboxes at. What do you say?
- 21:52Speaker 1: Is that again? I live in Murphy Road Road. Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I deliver over there. Uh, but he ain't delivering package
- 22:01Speaker 1: at your house? No, I said, You've been bringing mail
- 22:05Speaker 1: to my house in the poll. Here's what I'm trying
- 22:07Speaker 1: to kill you, Carlod. My wife is at home all day,
- 22:10Speaker 1: she don't work. And my understanding is you've been stopping
- 22:14Speaker 1: by there on more than one occasion on a daily basis.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You're coming by there two three times, you know. But
- 22:20Speaker 1: what I'm understanding it ain't no mail being brought over that.
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what are you doing at
- 22:25Speaker 1: my house? Now? Really been brought all this to a
- 22:29Speaker 1: head because you already know what's going on. Let me
- 22:30Speaker 1: go on, let you know that, Carlod, I do know
- 22:33Speaker 1: what's going on. I picked up the clothes from the

- 30:08Speaker 1: you can tell us about it. But this time you're
- 30:10Speaker 1: going the streaming root you. You've sealed a deal for
- 30:13Speaker 1: a brand new series at Facebook Watch. It's a new
- 30:17Speaker 1: show titled Steve on Watch. It is such a premiere
- 30:21Speaker 1: on January six. That's big news. Come on, man, you're
- 30:26Speaker 1: not You're not supposed to be doing all this. They
- 30:30Speaker 1: told you all ridden okay, j J Junior Junior what
- 30:38Speaker 1: they say, You're not supposed to be on TV. No, mo,
- 30:40Speaker 1: your career is over. You're not listening. Yeah wow, Now, Steve,
- 30:53Speaker 1: you've already taped the first batch of new episodes right yeah, yo,
- 30:58Speaker 1: shot him at Tyler Perce Studios, did it all this
- 31:02Speaker 1: past week, and then bought Miss Universe to Tyler Perry
- 31:07Speaker 1: Studios on the same week, and shot all my New
- 31:11Speaker 1: Year's Eve promos for New Year's Eve on Fox in
- 31:15Speaker 1: Tyler Perry Studios, three different stages, all in the same
- 31:19Speaker 1: week at the same Brothers studio together. And then on
- 31:29Speaker 1: top of all of that, the new Miss Universe is
- 31:33Speaker 1: from South Africa. You you better talk about this week
- 31:37Speaker 1: right here. See being on anything seriously, instead of the
- 31:43Speaker 1: focus being on anything negative, focus should have been on
- 31:46Speaker 1: this incredible system that one Miss Universe from Africa. That
- 31:51Speaker 1: was the story, man, that was the story. But I'm
- 31:54Speaker 1: grateful to God. You know, look, man, so many things
- 31:58Speaker 1: have happened. You know. The Facebook show is a really
- 32:02Speaker 1: an unprecedented deal that they struck, and it all because
- 32:05Speaker 1: of all you know, just grace man, you know, and
- 32:08Speaker 1: so many things. The reason we took it to Facebook
- 32:11Speaker 1: was because of the strength on Facebook. My show when
- 32:14Speaker 1: it was on the app from September twenty eighteen to
- 32:19Speaker 1: August two thousand nineteen, had gotten over two point two
- 32:23Speaker 1: billion views. And so what we did was for people
- 32:27Speaker 1: who don't know, just break that down for a moment
- 32:29Speaker 1: if you can't. It's amazingly two point two billion views. Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: yea of all the TV shows, which is hundreds and
- 32:40Speaker 1: we end up number six. Congratulations, So I'll tell you
- 32:45Speaker 1: look at God. Come on, man, all right, January sixth here, boy,
- 32:52Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna we're gonna switch gears here and
- 32:55Speaker 1: check in with miss Anne Steve for headlines. We got
- 32:57Speaker 1: to find out what's going on in Jersey City, ladies
- 33:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen, miss Anne True. Thank you very much, everybody.
- 33:05Speaker 1: This is answered for the news where yesterday was the
- 33:07Speaker 1: day of mixed political news. We're going to start with that.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And some of it was predictable, other items not so much.
- 33:12Speaker 1: First of all, there was a joint announcement by members
- 33:14Speaker 1: of both the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees about the
- 33:16Speaker 1: two articles of impeachment levied against President Trump abusive power.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Of course, because of his conduct with regard to Ukraine
- 33:23Speaker 1: and obstruction of Congress, on which the head of the
- 33:26Speaker 1: Intelligence Committee, Adams Shiff, explained why lawmakers felt are trying
- 33:29Speaker 1: to remedy that situation, the court just wasn't feasible. He
- 33:33Speaker 1: cites the case of former White House counsel Don McGann.
- 33:35Speaker 1: It has taken us eight months to get a lower
- 33:38Speaker 1: court ruling that Don McGann has no absolute right to
- 33:42Speaker 1: defy Congress. If it takes us another eight months to
- 33:45Speaker 1: get a second court or maybe a Supreme Court decision,
- 33:48Speaker 1: people need to understand it comes back to us and
- 33:52Speaker 1: we ask questions because he no longer has absolute immunity,
- 33:55Speaker 1: and then he claims something else and we have to
- 33:58Speaker 1: go to back to court for another or sixteen months.
- 34:02Speaker 1: The argument, why don't you just wait? Amounts to this,
- 34:06Speaker 1: why don't you just let him cheat in one more election?
- 34:09Speaker 1: Just one more time. At the same time, though Democrats
- 34:13Speaker 1: agree with the President and the Republicans on the terms
- 34:16Speaker 1: of a new NAFTA or North American Free Trade Agreement,
- 34:19Speaker 1: actually handing President Trump a big legislative win. How Speaker
- 34:22Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi says the new changes suit her just fine,
- 34:25Speaker 1: and she calls it a victory for the American people.
- 34:27Speaker 1: We are so proud of the distance that we have,
- 34:31Speaker 1: And again, she's very, very proud of what's happened, the
- 34:33Speaker 1: distance between where the Republicans were and the Democrats were
- 34:36Speaker 1: on creating a new NAFTA agreement. So she's proud that
- 34:39Speaker 1: they came together and everything's okay. That puts the now
- 34:42Speaker 1: revamped deal with Mexico and Canada on a sure path
- 34:45Speaker 1: forward toward ratification and the Congress and assigning into law
- 34:48Speaker 1: by the President. Getting back to the impeachment, the House
- 34:50Speaker 1: Judiciary Committee expected to officially vote on articles, with debate
- 34:55Speaker 1: schedule to begin this evening and around seven pm and
- 34:57Speaker 1: resuming at nine am tomorrow. No deadlines said. By the way,
- 35:01Speaker 1: any Senate impeachment trial would most likely begin after the
- 35:04Speaker 1: holiday sometime next month. Meanwhile, the latest Quinnipiac poll shows
- 35:07Speaker 1: that fifty one percent of those asked are against impeaching
- 35:10Speaker 1: Donald Trump, forty five percent are in favor of it.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Visius in Jersey City, New Jersey, say six people are dead,
- 35:16Speaker 1: including a police officer, as a result of a wild
- 35:18Speaker 1: shootout yesterday inside of a kosher corner store and a
- 35:22Speaker 1: cemetery in the Greenville section on that side that city.
- 35:25Speaker 1: School's in the area were on lockdown four minute. It
- 35:27Speaker 1: was like about two hours or so. They are now worried.
- 35:30Speaker 1: They feel that that store was targeted because it was
- 35:33Speaker 1: a Jewish store. Finally, sad news, singer Marief Frederickson has died.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Marie Frederickson of the Rocket. You may remember this one
- 35:39Speaker 1: from Pretty Woman. This is her grief. Frederickson dead at
- 35:43Speaker 1: sixty one from cancer. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 35:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. All right, guys, we'll
- 35:51Speaker 1: check this out. It's no secret that Lizzo is proud
- 35:55Speaker 1: of her body and she doesn't have an issue showing
- 35:58Speaker 1: it up. Okay, that's exactly what she did while she
- 36:01Speaker 1: was at the Los Angeles Lakers when they played the
- 36:04Speaker 1: Minnesota Timberwolves. It was a basketball game over the weekend.
- 36:08Speaker 1: The Lakers cheerleaders were performing a routine to Lizzo's song Juice,
- 36:12Speaker 1: and Lizzo decided to dance along with them. She turned
- 36:16Speaker 1: her back toward the camera, which revealed her bear behind
- 36:21Speaker 1: on the JumboTron. Okay, see, Lizzo was wearing out. It
- 36:29Speaker 1: was an ass out. Yeah, Okay, okay, she was wearing
- 36:33Speaker 1: a dress. It had cutouts by her butt. Okay, where
- 36:37Speaker 1: her butt is. The dress was cut out so you
- 36:39Speaker 1: could just see her butt. Okay, the front, Yeah, but
- 36:43Speaker 1: in the front it was a dress and you turn
- 36:45Speaker 1: around and her butt was out. She had yeah, she
- 36:49Speaker 1: had a a thong. Uh and uh no, no, no, no,
- 36:57Speaker 1: just they just cover you know, cra nothing I mean yeah, yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 1: most most of the most of the fabric is inside
- 37:07Speaker 1: of the cracks, so it's really not had. We know,
- 37:11Speaker 1: we're familiar. Yoh, shouldn't have brought her as I don't know,
- 37:16Speaker 1: we weren't gonna talk about it. Everybody's talking about it.
- 37:22Speaker 1: It's all over everything. Okay, but hey, damn this, I'm
- 37:29Speaker 1: gonna start walking around my shirt. Damn this from the
- 37:35Speaker 1: Ross's don't I'm from the Rick Ross. J Anthony Brown
- 37:42Speaker 1: does not care what we do in public. Yeah, so,
- 37:46Speaker 1: I mean, you know a lot of people are debating
- 37:50Speaker 1: it online, some calling it ugly. Other are supporting her
- 37:55Speaker 1: choice to you know, live her best life and to
- 37:57Speaker 1: be her and to be free and to show it.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You know, it's her song. She felt like dancing along,
- 38:02Speaker 1: She felt like wearing that so they're supporting her choices.
- 38:06Speaker 1: All right. Uh, I don't know. What do you guys
- 38:09Speaker 1: think that was at the Laker game? I don't think. Yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 1: the game, and she's she has a crush on one
- 38:16Speaker 1: of the Timberwolves, doesn't she. And she well, you know
- 38:23Speaker 1: when I saw that, I was like, whoa, yeah, because
- 38:25Speaker 1: it's it's kids at the game. That's now right, Yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you want a hot dog? You do this? Yeah, because
- 38:32Speaker 1: I remember when the song first came out, I love
- 38:35Speaker 1: Lizzo Lover, Lover Lover. I just thought it was Yeah,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I don't know, you know it, Yeah, I didn't. I
- 38:43Speaker 1: wasn't crazy about that. Her choice on that, that's fine. Yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: all right. You can post your comments on Steve Harvey
- 38:50Speaker 1: FM on Instagram or Facebook. Now coming up at thirty
- 38:53Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, still trending. Black women are
- 38:56Speaker 1: ruling the pageant world and we love it. Uh, black
- 39:00Speaker 1: girl magic, we love all this black girl magic. We'll
- 39:02Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:07Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, So Steve, this is trending news.
- 39:11Speaker 1: For the first time in pageant history. Miss Universe, Miss USA,
- 39:15Speaker 1: Miss Teen USA, and Miss America are all black women. Wow. Yes,
- 39:23Speaker 1: that's what should be trendy. That's right. According to CNN, Yes,
- 39:29Speaker 1: when beauty pageants began back in the nineteen twenties, women
- 39:32Speaker 1: of color weren't even allowed to compete. Okay, it wasn't
- 39:36Speaker 1: until fifty years ago that women of color broke the
- 39:38Speaker 1: racial barriers to participate. The first Miss Black Universe was
- 39:42Speaker 1: crowned in nineteen seventy seven, and Vanessa Williams was the
- 39:45Speaker 1: first Black Miss America in nineteen eighty three. Now, nearly
- 39:49Speaker 1: a hundred years later, black girl magic is taking over.
- 39:53Speaker 1: When Zozabini tunes, that is it? Yes Zo, And you
- 40:00Speaker 1: know what Marjorie was. Marjorie was trending on the Miss
- 40:05Speaker 1: Universe page because when we back we went backstage to
- 40:08Speaker 1: meet her to congratulate her. Marjorie jumped up and screamed
- 40:12Speaker 1: so loud, and she told the look she told the winners.
- 40:15Speaker 1: She said, I jumped up and screamed like you was
- 40:17Speaker 1: my daughter. And that just went everywhere. That went over
- 40:20Speaker 1: a lot of pages on the Universe. They were really
- 40:23Speaker 1: happy for her, you know, for that to happen in Atlanta.
- 40:26Speaker 1: But let me tell you something, man, what people may
- 40:29Speaker 1: not realize is the pageantists actually three or four days,
- 40:33Speaker 1: and what you all see is when they break it
- 40:36Speaker 1: down to the final twenty, you don't see what the
- 40:40Speaker 1: girls go through for three or four day period. You
- 40:44Speaker 1: know how they're judged on the interviews and stuff like that.
- 40:48Speaker 1: So when it comes down to it, it really is
- 40:51Speaker 1: they've really filtered it out to the best speakers, the
- 40:54Speaker 1: best poise, And what this young lady really really represented
- 40:59Speaker 1: was she was beautiful, but the Lord had mercied this
- 41:02Speaker 1: girl was smart and under pressure. It's where she signed,
- 41:06Speaker 1: you know what. You know the question where you put
- 41:08Speaker 1: the headphones on all of the last three contestants, I
- 41:13Speaker 1: saw that. Well, the way they judge it now, and
- 41:16Speaker 1: they only they had all women. The way they judge
- 41:18Speaker 1: it now is your answer not only has to be good,
- 41:20Speaker 1: but it has to top and be judged against the
- 41:24Speaker 1: other two answers. And when you don't hear the questions,
- 41:28Speaker 1: and you know, you know she like went second or
- 41:30Speaker 1: something like that, but her answers to all her questions
- 41:34Speaker 1: was so spot on her poise. That girl came out
- 41:39Speaker 1: there and healed it, yes, killed it. Yes. And reaction
- 41:45Speaker 1: to the crowd when she won was really really heartfelt.
- 41:48Speaker 1: And heartwarming. And even though a lot of people wanted
- 41:52Speaker 1: Miss Puerto Rico to win, who I thought was really
- 41:56Speaker 1: on point two p Yeah, and Miss Mexico was finalists.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Now who out wanted to get into finals for my
- 42:10Speaker 1: son's purposes was Miss Iceland and Miss Haydy vot. I
- 42:16Speaker 1: voted Miss Iceland and Miss Haity to get in for
- 42:19Speaker 1: my son's pres but the right three got in. M wow,
- 42:25Speaker 1: the right three definitely got in. And as you know, Steve,
- 42:28Speaker 1: just before tunes, he was crowned. She gave an inspiring
- 42:31Speaker 1: message for all little brown girls and women of self acceptance.
- 42:34Speaker 1: She said she grew up in a world where a
- 42:36Speaker 1: woman who looks like her, with her kind of skin
- 42:39Speaker 1: and her kind of hair, would never be considered beautiful.
- 42:43Speaker 1: She says she thinks it's time that stops. Today. I
- 42:46Speaker 1: want children to look at me and see my face,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and I want them to see their faces reflected in me. Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 1: I mean just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Congratulations again, Yeah, she
- 42:58Speaker 1: was crowned this weekend. Yeah, that's what we should all
- 43:02Speaker 1: be talking about, right that right there, and we are
- 43:06Speaker 1: we are talking yeah, yes, on the Steve Harvid Morning Show. Yep.
- 43:12Speaker 1: So that's miss Yeah, it really really is. And I
- 43:17Speaker 1: mean there was after she spoke and after she did
- 43:20Speaker 1: her thing, there seemed to me to be no other
- 43:23Speaker 1: choice but her. She was just on pointing everything she did.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I mean, she was grace, poise everything. Ye from the
- 43:33Speaker 1: motherland and now listen to this. I happen to be
- 43:39Speaker 1: in South Africa right now. Oh wow, I have another
- 43:45Speaker 1: announcement to make on the next break. Oh lord, okay,
- 43:49Speaker 1: well listen, we'll find out. Nephew. Post your comments and
- 43:54Speaker 1: your thoughts at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Coming up next, the nephew with today's praying phone. Right
- 44:01Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 44:06Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after.
- 44:09Speaker 1: It's today's strawberry letter. The subject is I need to
- 44:13Speaker 1: know who the other woman was? All right? Right now, though,
- 44:18Speaker 1: Nephew in the building with today's prank phone call what
- 44:21Speaker 1: you got now? Gospel church quiz right here? Gospel church,
- 44:31Speaker 1: not queeze on the pulpit. Okay, it's a church, queen.
- 44:35Speaker 1: When you saved anything by church, you got to have
- 44:38Speaker 1: a cadence chirty. Gospel church Quiz let's go cat doc.
- 44:44Speaker 1: This is Grant, all right, Grant, Um, Grant Stevens right, Yes, Hey, hey, Grant,
- 44:50Speaker 1: this is brother Lewis Finley. I'm calling from Mole Side
- 44:53Speaker 1: and Missionaire, a Baptist church. You you and your wife
- 44:57Speaker 1: just joined a couple of weeks ago, am I right? Absolutely? Yes? Okay,
- 45:02Speaker 1: So now listen, Um, I wanted to reach out to you.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I know you guys have started the uh the orientation
- 45:10Speaker 1: and from my understanding you you finished one one class
- 45:13Speaker 1: at the orientation. You got three more to go with that, right, yes, alright, alright, alright,
- 45:18Speaker 1: So first of all, I want to say welcome to
- 45:21Speaker 1: my side night, and and I hope you are enjoying yourself.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I know that you and your wife are a mixed couple.
- 45:28Speaker 1: You your Caucasian and she's she's black. Are you Are
- 45:33Speaker 1: you liking the church so far? Grant? Absolutely, we really
- 45:37Speaker 1: are enjoying it. We completed our first orientation and uh yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 1: so far we're really enjoying it. Okay, Okay, I kept
- 45:44Speaker 1: you a bad time. I am at work right now,
- 45:47Speaker 1: but it's okay. I've got a couple of I've got
- 45:49Speaker 1: a couple of minutes, Okay, Okay, I just wanted to
- 45:51Speaker 1: call you man. I was worried I know you because
- 45:54Speaker 1: I don't think you noticed. But you are the first
- 45:57Speaker 1: Caucasian to join our church, and I just want to
- 46:01Speaker 1: make sure you kind of knew the language and and
- 46:05Speaker 1: just just kind of knowing what the Black Church is
- 46:08Speaker 1: all about. And there's certain sands and different things I
- 46:11Speaker 1: think you should know so that uh, you know, I
- 46:14Speaker 1: just don't want you to say the wrong thing while
- 46:16Speaker 1: you at the church. Does that makes sense? Uh? Okay, okay,
- 46:21Speaker 1: So so what I wanted to do, like I wanted
- 46:23Speaker 1: to give you a little Black Church quiz so you
- 46:27Speaker 1: can kind of maybe if you could let me know
- 46:29Speaker 1: where you are, you know, if you on a lower
- 46:32Speaker 1: level or a high level as for being knowledgeable about
- 46:36Speaker 1: the Black Church, like fill is blank in for me?
- 46:39Speaker 1: Grant if and if you don't matter. I just want
- 46:41Speaker 1: to take liberty of time and I let you get
- 46:42Speaker 1: back to work. But first of all, give a blank
- 46:46Speaker 1: to God? What what what would go in that blank?
- 46:50Speaker 1: Right there? First of all, give a blank to God? Well,
- 46:54Speaker 1: all I can think of some has give give things
- 46:57Speaker 1: to God. Uh No, See that's wrong, See that's wrong.
- 47:01Speaker 1: See to see what it is is. First of all,
- 47:03Speaker 1: give an honor to God. All right. Remember, First of all,
- 47:07Speaker 1: give an honor to God. You got that, okay, yes, yes, okay.
- 47:11Speaker 1: First of all, give an honor to God, who is
- 47:13Speaker 1: the blank of my life. What what? What? What goals
- 47:18Speaker 1: into blake? First of all, I give an honor to God,
- 47:20Speaker 1: who is the blank of my life, the love of
- 47:25Speaker 1: my life. No, no, see, that's that's that's that's wrong.
- 47:28Speaker 1: First of all, give an honor to God, who is
- 47:31Speaker 1: the head of my life. Do you shure that? I'm sorry, okay,
- 47:38Speaker 1: I was just are you sure? Are you sure about that? Oh?
- 47:40Speaker 1: I'm definitely sure about man. I don't don't don't. What
- 47:43Speaker 1: I don't want you to do is question what what
- 47:45Speaker 1: I know. I'm from the Black Church. I know. No, No,
- 47:47Speaker 1: I wasn't. I wasn't questioning you, sir. I wasn't question
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I've just always heard it that way. But okay,
- 47:53Speaker 1: So so I'm trying to give you the understanding of
- 47:56Speaker 1: knowing what the Black Church is about. You know what
- 47:58Speaker 1: I'm saying. I understand. I'm just I p now, I
- 48:00Speaker 1: appreciate it. I'm I apologize, okay, noa no, look I
- 48:06Speaker 1: don't know these answers, obviously, but I've got a meeting.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I gotta get you here in a minute like like this.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm curious if everyone in the church gets these phone calls.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Well wait, waiting and waiting in the Grant. I know
- 48:14Speaker 1: you have a meeting, but what's more important You're meeting
- 48:17Speaker 1: or knowing your position at the Black Church? What what's
- 48:21Speaker 1: more important? I really don't have time for this right now.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I can't believe this is actually happening. Like did you
- 48:26Speaker 1: did your pastor even know that you're calling you right now? Well? No,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I took the livery of myself when I realized you
- 48:32Speaker 1: was Caucasian, that I would call and try to help
- 48:35Speaker 1: you so you would know what to do when you're
- 48:37Speaker 1: in the Black Church when people are saying certain things
- 48:40Speaker 1: you okay, okay, Grant. If you don't man, just do
- 48:44Speaker 1: this the grant like, do you know what hooping els? Hooping? Like?
- 48:49Speaker 1: Who the hooping? Uh? No, hooping is when in the
- 48:53Speaker 1: past that is at the end of his sermon. So
- 48:56Speaker 1: listen to this. Good God, I'm mighty do that funny
- 49:03Speaker 1: if you if you will, Grant, oh hello, oh God?
- 49:09Speaker 1: Oh n no, no, no, no, you let come on
- 49:13Speaker 1: you women. Oh good god, I'm i gotta get Grant.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm doing this. Oh loo yo, oh god,
- 49:27Speaker 1: oh mighty. Okay, Hey, hey, Grant, do you think maybe
- 49:34Speaker 1: it's possible as that and you can have some tessions.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I spose you come back to the church and I
- 49:40Speaker 1: can prepare you more. Hey man, let's listen. You have
- 49:44Speaker 1: caught me at a really bad time, and I'm quite
- 49:46Speaker 1: honestly just so frustrated. Like I've never heard of a
- 49:50Speaker 1: quiz like this. I'm really offended, to be honest, to
- 49:52Speaker 1: be like, do you guys not want me to go
- 49:54Speaker 1: to your church anymore? Like a matter of fact, dude,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you should be calling my wife right now. She's black.
- 50:00Speaker 1: But if she should already know the cooiest question, you
- 50:03Speaker 1: the one don't know who I'm gonna call. I should
- 50:06Speaker 1: call you. I am at work right now. I have
- 50:09Speaker 1: a meeting to get to in just a minute. I
- 50:11Speaker 1: don't know what you're doing. And I hold on a second,
- 50:14Speaker 1: I have got to close my office store. This is
- 50:15Speaker 1: so embarrassing. I have never ever received a phone call
- 50:20Speaker 1: like this in my life, and you better be lucky.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I mean, I want to talk to your pastor. I
- 50:25Speaker 1: am going to talk to him next Sunday. No joke.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Why didn't mean did you for you to get hotstyle
- 50:30Speaker 1: like that? I hadn't mean that you. I didn't mean
- 50:32Speaker 1: to upset you and nothing like that. What can I
- 50:35Speaker 1: say something else to you? One last thing and I
- 50:38Speaker 1: have to go. Okay, I just wanted to let you
- 50:41Speaker 1: know that this is Nephew till Me from the Steve
- 50:44Speaker 1: Hormit Man the show. No wife Carolyn got me to
- 50:48Speaker 1: prank phone call you shut up, shut up. I am

- 51:05Speaker 1: I'm alright, man, I'm alright a little embarrassed, but I'm alright. Great.
- 51:10Speaker 1: You gotta do it for me one more time? Hey,

- 53:07Speaker 1: Strawberry LETTA. Thank you, nephew. Subject, I need to know
- 53:12Speaker 1: who the other woman was? Dear Stephen Shirley. I am
- 53:15Speaker 1: a forty two year old woman and I have been
- 53:18Speaker 1: seeing a man for six months and we go out
- 53:21Speaker 1: several times a week and we've started having sex. The
- 53:24Speaker 1: intimacy is good, but he was a bit aggressive at first,
- 53:28Speaker 1: so I had to get him to settle down a bit.
- 53:31Speaker 1: But that's not the problem I have with him. There
- 53:34Speaker 1: are times I can't reach him, and when he's non responsive,
- 53:38Speaker 1: he tells me he's out with a friend. It became
- 53:41Speaker 1: clear to me who his friend might be when he
- 53:44Speaker 1: invited me to go shopping and I ended up feeling
- 53:47Speaker 1: like the third wheel. He picked me up and there
- 53:50Speaker 1: was a nice looking young woman sitting on the front seat,
- 53:53Speaker 1: so he opened the back door of his car for me.
- 53:56Speaker 1: He introduced me and the woman, but never said who
- 54:00Speaker 1: the woman was to him, and he didn't tell her
- 54:02Speaker 1: I was his girlfriend. I sat on the back seat
- 54:05Speaker 1: while they engaged in conversation all the way to the mall.
- 54:08Speaker 1: As we walked around the mall, he walked in the
- 54:11Speaker 1: middle of us. When it came time to eat lunch,
- 54:13Speaker 1: he pulled her chair out at the table and he
- 54:16Speaker 1: pulled my chair out. He ordered for her and then
- 54:19Speaker 1: motioned for me to put in my order. I was
- 54:23Speaker 1: really feeling like the third wheel then, but I didn't
- 54:26Speaker 1: say a word. He dropped me off that day and
- 54:29Speaker 1: we have never talked about it. But now I want
- 54:32Speaker 1: to know who this woman was and what she is
- 54:36Speaker 1: to him. I am trying to give him the benefit
- 54:39Speaker 1: of the doubt, but I feel like I can't ask
- 54:41Speaker 1: him any questions because I'm still having sex with him.
- 54:44Speaker 1: It's too late? Is it too late to question him now?
- 54:47Speaker 1: I think I may be the side piece. Surely he's
- 54:50Speaker 1: not crazy enough to take us out at the same time.
- 54:53Speaker 1: What's going on? Well, yes, he is crazy enough to
- 54:56Speaker 1: take you guys out at the same time, because that's
- 54:58Speaker 1: just what he did. He did. Put her in the
- 55:04Speaker 1: front seat, you in the back seat, ordered for her,
- 55:08Speaker 1: told you to get what you wanted, motion to you
- 55:11Speaker 1: to place your order. Come. He talked to her all
- 55:14Speaker 1: the way, all the way to the mall, you didn't
- 55:17Speaker 1: say anything. Give him the benefit of the doubt. You
- 55:23Speaker 1: feel like you can't ask him anything because you're still
- 55:30Speaker 1: having sex with him, All the more reason for you
- 55:35Speaker 1: to ask him. What are you giving him the benefit
- 55:38Speaker 1: of the doubt for? Why? I mean, you're giving him
- 55:41Speaker 1: way too much of yourself as it is. I mean,
- 55:45Speaker 1: you feel like you're afraid of him, and you're you're
- 55:47Speaker 1: scared to ask him anything. You should have well, you
- 55:50Speaker 1: shouldn't even gotten in the car in the back seat. Okay,
- 55:58Speaker 1: what is going on? You need to be done with
- 56:02Speaker 1: this man like today. Okay, he's disrespectful, he's am I A.
- 56:07Speaker 1: You know, he's with this other woman, and all you
- 56:09Speaker 1: want to know is who she was. You're feeling like
- 56:12Speaker 1: the side piece. Why should you you think you're his girlfriend?
- 56:15Speaker 1: Will clearly clearly you're one of a couple or whoever,
- 56:20Speaker 1: who knows how many? Yeah, you're his girlfriend? All right,
- 56:23Speaker 1: this is not a situation that you miss forty two
- 56:26Speaker 1: year old woman wants to be in. I'm sure at
- 56:29Speaker 1: this stage in your life. Okay, look at the situation
- 56:34Speaker 1: for what it really is. You all are in the
- 56:36Speaker 1: mall walking, he's in the middle of you as if
- 56:41Speaker 1: you know this, this is one of those like Sister
- 56:44Speaker 1: Wives TV show. No, No, this is your life. Okay, No,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you can ask him anything, you could tell him anything,
- 56:52Speaker 1: tell him. You're done with this foolishness, all right, this
- 56:54Speaker 1: is disrespectful. Move on. You don't want to be a
- 56:57Speaker 1: side piece. Do you not at forty two? Come on, no, no,
- 57:02Speaker 1: later wrote this damn letter? Where are these people like?
- 57:09Speaker 1: When I was out there in the streets making moves,
- 57:12Speaker 1: where was D's people? Hey? I never met nobody like this?
- 57:17Speaker 1: The best way for me. Shirley did an excellent job
- 57:19Speaker 1: on the letter. By the way, I can't even really
- 57:21Speaker 1: add too much. So what I've decided to do is
- 57:24Speaker 1: I'm just gonna read the letter to y'all and make
- 57:26Speaker 1: comments on each line. Ready, we love it when you
- 57:30Speaker 1: do that. Stephen Sherley, I'm forty two, your old woman,
- 57:33Speaker 1: and I have been seeing a man for six months
- 57:36Speaker 1: and we go out several times a week, and we've
- 57:39Speaker 1: started having sex. Okay, that's normal, let's go. The intimacy
- 57:44Speaker 1: is good. But it was a bit aggressive at first. Okay,
- 57:47Speaker 1: Now that's where the whole letter just took a turn.
- 57:50Speaker 1: It was a bit aggressive at first, just just just aggressive.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I don't know what that means. I don't know if
- 57:56Speaker 1: he was biting, I menna growling. I don't know if
- 57:59Speaker 1: it's just just come snatching. I don't know what it was.
- 58:01Speaker 1: But but I had to get him to settle down
- 58:04Speaker 1: a bit. But that's not the problem I have with him.
- 58:08Speaker 1: That are times when I can't reach him, and when
- 58:12Speaker 1: he's non responsive. That's because he's busy. Yeah, that's because
- 58:16Speaker 1: he's busy. Thank you can't reach him for and he's
- 58:21Speaker 1: non RESPONSI because he's with somebody. He all you calling
- 58:24Speaker 1: me phone now? He tells me that he's out with
- 58:27Speaker 1: a friend. Oh oh, so you ain't got to wonder
- 58:30Speaker 1: why you can't reach him. In response, he told you
- 58:34Speaker 1: I'm out with a friend. That is not how we
- 58:38Speaker 1: refer to our buddies. If a girl say I couldn't
- 58:44Speaker 1: catch you last night, what happened to you? Oh I
- 58:47Speaker 1: was out with a friend. That ain't what we says
- 58:50Speaker 1: with her on them We were shooting dice. We was
- 58:54Speaker 1: watching the game. No, but not you. He flat out
- 58:57Speaker 1: told you I was with a friend. It became clear
- 59:01Speaker 1: to me who his friend might be. Okay, you're delusional.
- 59:08Speaker 1: You're delusional and in denial. And I'll give you the
- 59:11Speaker 1: rest of the letter where we come back. It's you
- 59:15Speaker 1: wrong through the another. You did a great job on
- 59:18Speaker 1: this letter right here. I was actually proud of you respoke.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Thank you all right? Coming up Part two of Steve's response,
- 59:24Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour, right after this
- 59:26Speaker 1: subject I need to know who the other woman was. No,
- 59:30Speaker 1: he need know a lot more than that, lady. We'll
- 59:34Speaker 1: be back right after this good audio food. You're listening,
- 59:41Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letters.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Subject I need to know who the other woman was. Well,
- 59:48Speaker 1: we don't need to recap this letter. We need to
- 59:51Speaker 1: just continue reading this damn letter. To recap the subject
- 59:56Speaker 1: is I need to know who the other woman was.
- 59:59Speaker 1: And all the way through the letter, all let's trying
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: to figure out is who you eat? Don't know who
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: wrote this? Damn that, damn who the other woman was?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Who is you? Well, let's find out who you had sex.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: It was a little aggressive, that's not the problem. There
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: are times when I can't reach him, and when he's
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: now responsive, he tells me he's out with a friend.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: That's not a man's response when he's with a dude.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: So you don't have to wonder about it. He told
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you I'm out with a friend. You didn't respond to that.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: You didn't check him. What you mean you out with
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: a friend? Now? You you just went along with it,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: So not guess what happened. It became clear to me
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: who his friend might be when he invited me to
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: go shopping, and I ended up feeling like the third whill.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you ended up feeling like the third will. Yeah, well,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: let's have up and find out why you would feel
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that way. Okay, he picked me up, and that was
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a nice looking young woman sitting on the front seat.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Who is the fine chick in the front seat? But
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: hold up door? So he opened the back door of
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: his car for me. He introduced, how did he introduce? You?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Got in? You got in the back door and setting
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the back seat. How the two people that was on
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: the date went on the date and he set your
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: ants in the back. Let me let me tell you something.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: He'd been testing you, and you've been flunking all the tests.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: When he told you he was out with a friend,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: and you ain't say nothing, he said, okay, she cool
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: with it. So then he come to pick you up,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: take you shopping. You see a fine chick sitting in
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the front seat. He on the back door, and your
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: dumb ass got in. He come on, Your stupid ass
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: got in the car in the back seat and sat
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: down inquisitive what's going on? What was I'm in the back?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: He said, what she says? What is I'm in the fact,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: He said, I got the city. I was sitting in
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: the front. I thought we were school shopping. Who is
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: this fine chick sitting up in the front. But don't
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: let me, don't sit, don't let me, don't say nothing,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: dough because we haven't said right what, So he invited
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: me to go shop. I ended up feeling like third wheel,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: this young woman sitting in the front seat. So he
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: opened the back door, his call for me. He introduced
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: me to the woman, but never said who the woman
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: was to him, and he didn't tell her I was
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: his girlfriend. Why would he lie to her? He came
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: out of He's gonna tell the chicken the frost seat
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: that his girlfriend is in the back seat. Didn't know
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: how that out of sound. He know how to sound
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: jack rabbit crazy, so he didn't say it. No, guess
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: what you're sitting your ass back there, farty two year
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: old food sitting in the back still tripping. So I
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: sat on the back seat while they engaged in conversation
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: all the way to the morning. So now you're back there.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: He ain't even talking to he'd ask you what you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: was Joe, David, we're up here talking. Set your ass
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: back there in the back seat. What you're doing when
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: ain't nobody talking to you? You know, just there playing
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: with the ass tray and stuff. You know, flipping that
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: little middle down makes you you, you know, count three
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: on the back seat, scratching your leg back there, hug,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you know what you back there doing. So then I
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: said the back seat to come. So then she's no
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: wrong for that. All the way to the mall, as
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: we walked around the wall, we well he was in
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: the middle of the two ladies, Steve, Na, you didn't
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: got out to call for some more. As we as
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: we walked around the mall, he walked in the middle
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: of U. That what pimps do. When it came time
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to eat lunch, he pulled out her chair at the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: table and then he pulled out your chair. That's to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: make you feel equal, he ordered for her and the
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: emotion to put it in mater. So this is how
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: this word she would like to have. They at the mall.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: So they're in the food court right right. She like chicken,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: and my baby like lemon pepper, beat gonna get whatever
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: you want. He didn't say that. He did it with
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: his hand put jo because I don't really know what
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: you want because I don't really give it. Damn, my baby,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: My baby like orange chicken and pebble beef. You get
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: some of the samples over there. So I'm really feeling
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: like the third wheel then. But I didn't say a word.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: He dropped me off that day, and we've never talked
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: about it. But now I want to know who the
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: woman was and what she is to him obviously everything
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to do. But I feel like I can't
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: ask him questions because I'm still having sex with him.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Well you want to cut that out, right, yea? Is
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: it too late to ask questions for him? Now it's
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: been too late. You ain't got nothing to say, all right,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: we gotta go Steve in the back. They talked all
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: the way to the ball, said the damn on the
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Strawberry letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Coming up to twenty six after the hour and trending
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: clinical impeachment articles introduced and the President was the most
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: tweeted about politician this year. We'll talk about it right
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right,

- 1:06:57Speaker 1: In today's trending political news, how Democrats have just announced
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the introduction of articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: that's serious, this is serious. Only what the fourth time
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: in history this has happened. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Judiciary
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Committee Chairperson Jerry Nadler, and Intelligence Committee Chairperson Adam Schiff
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: made the announcement on Capitol Hill. They planned to submit
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: two articles of impeachment abusive power for allegedly withholding military
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: aid to Ukraine unless the country investigated the son of
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden and his work at an Ukrainian energy firm. Yes,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: let me go around the room one at a time.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I may ask you a question. Do you think Donald
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Trump will be impeached? Do I think he will be
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: impeached by the Democrats? Yes? Yes. Do you think he'll
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: be impeached yes, by the Democrats? Yes, charge with a
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: crime in office? Yeah, Carlo, I believe the House will
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: pass it. I believe it will not pass this in it. No, Junior,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: it ain't going past Tommy. I concur he will be
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: in peach but he ain't going anymore. So what what
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: are we doing? Well? I mean the Democrats the very
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: very valid point, right, But do you understand that the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Republicans are holding hands say he didn't he didn't do anything.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: They used this constitution when it's convenient for them, right,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: the Second Amendment. Right, that's the one that they hanging
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: on to for dear life. You've got to honor that.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: All the rest of it, man hogwash, all of it. Well,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: they don't mean any of it well, suit of happiness,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: freedom of liberty, Yeah, so, abusive power, and the obstruction
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: of Congress for refusing to comply with subpoenas related to
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the houses and instigation on the incident. Trump of course,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: has denied the charge of saying there was no quid
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: pro quo with Ukraine President Vladimir Zelenski. So there you go.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: So he's withholding evidence and everything, all right. Coming up
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we're gonna be giving
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: someone a take a hint gift? Will you be doing
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: that this holiday season? Well, we'll talk about it right
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. According to new research,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: one in five Americans are planning on giving someone a
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: take the hint gift this year. A new survey of
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: two thousand Americans found that hint gifts are pretty common practice,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: with one in three respondents saying they've given at least
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: one in the past year or so or in the
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: past period. And who is a person in our life
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: most likely to give us one of these hint gifts? Well,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: research shows it's our own partner. So when so when
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: calling Gil Tashun, he asked for running shoes. But you
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: know what, don't call it. I think it's cool though,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: because dudes were different. You know, if that's what we want,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: then I think it's cool. Yeah. I mean Tasha's real cool.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: You know, he's real laid back. He's hot. Baging some
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: running shoes and you know, get in here and do
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: your wifely duties. He'll say something like that. Yeah, well,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I mean I want shoes to that coming there with
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: some heels on with them, shoes around your neck, shoes
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: round your neck like like in the hood when you
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: see them suit shoes hanging over the over the telephone fly. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: And I did want to. Nasha did ask for the
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: her jacket, but I didn't know that it was attached
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: to dinner. Like Junior said off the air, he did
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: at least you know he was going to eat. Oh man,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: it was strategic. He put that jack. He starts smiling.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: He really did. He take a picture of him every
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: today he did them. Okay, get some running shoes too, Okay.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: The most popular gift, most popular hind gift Americans gift
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: is deodorant. What or you do? Cologne? Yeah? Self help book? Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: more than take a hand. The most popular most popular
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: gift is self help books. They scored real high. Also
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: on the list were cookbooks. No I did not don't
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: get one issue, exercise equipment, Carla, exercise equipment, I know, razors, toothpaste,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: cleaning supplies, and even breath mints. Yeah, well I just bought.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I just bought my wife the Peloton bike. Okay, so
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: she she asked for the bike, though she wasn't offended
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: by you getting it right? Can you save that for Christmas?
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Just wasn't for Christmas? Oh oh, this is your stay.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: He can't get off that either. But she asked save
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the Peloton bike for Christmas? Okay, well never mind. Yeah,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: different incomes, different is different, all right. So Stephen and
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Junior and Tommy, if you guys had to give someone
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: to take a hint gift, who would it be and
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: what would it be? At my sister getting every job
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: application pamp I can find just got since she can't
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: talk about they can't find the world. I see that
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: highing every day. I well, I think I think we
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: just saw the best take a hit gift. If I
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: pick you up to go shopping and I put your
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: ass in the backseat because I got another fine chick
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: in the front, that's about a bigger hit gift you
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: can get from straw Strawberry letter, last break. Oh what
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: about you? Now? My auntie is she listening? I don't
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: think she listening for a nice perm box, a nice
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: perm hit. Damn it, it's a hint. Let this sit
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: for at least twenty minutes. All right, Look, everybody can't
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: wear natural hair. Everybody can't do that. I'm I'm sorry,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: more ignorance. More Shenanigan's coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.

- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the man a nice shirt to go with it, just
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: some pants to go with it, make it a whole look.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I think your problem you don't know what to get
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: your I'm your what I wear naked? Did you buy
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: me some damn pants to go with I wear naked?
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: It's dinner jacket. I don't care where we go in
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm aware naked. If you don't buy me nothing to
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: go fit it, what well if we anywhere? I let
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: it t that to get up? Well, what's funny? Stupid?
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna be able to see in your shots?
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: All right, it's time for closing remarks. Let's go and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: be a new look though naked with be quiet oh
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: or something that you just you just the male version
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: of leads Now listen, listen, yeah, yeah, now, so let
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: me just move on. Yeah, I don't know the names.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: I didn't say nothing about it. Anyway, except great job, lady,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: great job. My closing remarks today, I just want to
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: remind people of one thing, and the subject to way
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this is because it's something I've touched
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: on many times before. But I'm just gonna say it
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: this way. Remember this, y'all, always just keep walking up
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the hall. You know, I used to say to everybody
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: a while back, I was on this thing, stay on
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: the wall. Staying on the wall is critical on your
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: climb to the top. Staying on the wall is imperative
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: on your climb to the top because when people down
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: below are throwing rocks at you and trying to get you,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: you got to learn how to stay on the wall
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: because you don't have time to come down off the
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: wall to address everything. So the second part to that
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: is keep walking up the hall. And the reason I
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: say that's because of a kind of a slick way
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I've discovered because I've tried to tell people that once
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: a door gets closed, once a door closes, that's not
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: only door. Keep walking up the hall. If you are
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: a person of faith, you have to understand that God
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: didn't bring you this far to leave you. God doesn't
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: elevate you, to knock you down, to tear you down.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: That's never God's plan for you. The God's plan is
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: So what I try to remind people of, when the
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: door closes, just keep walking up the hall. See, when
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: something happens in your life, it's not a signal that
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: is over or you've failed at something. You can fail
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: at something, but that fail you're probably gonna leave you
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: to a greatest. Failure is a part of the process.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: It's a part of becoming successful. Failing is so when
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you fail, walk up the hall, keep going when the
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: door closes, Walk up the hall when they tell you know,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: keep walking up the hall when they write you off,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Walk up the hall while they're talking about you, laughing
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: behind your back, y'all, keep walking up the hall. God
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: has something in store for you that they may know
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: nothing about. Sometimes or door closes, or sometimes you fall
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: out with the person, because God, here's some things that
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: you don't hear, see some things that you don't see,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: and know some things that you don't know. And for
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: your benefit, just allow these persons to expose themselves. Has
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: allowed these people to let you see who they really are.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Sometimes people think they're hurting you by doing something to you.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: They don't know what they're doing. Everything people do to
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: you that tries to have the intent of hurting you,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: they don't know how God really works. God can take
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: all their intentions and turn them right around into His
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: will as a part of his plan. But you got
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to keep the faith. You got to keep walking up
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the hall. Everybody. Don't get discouraged when it goes bad
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: for you. Don't get discouraged when it seems like you're
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: falling or failed. It's okay. God got your back. Those
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: are my closing remarks today. That's it. Y'all have a
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: great weekend. Okay, so have a great weekend. Know that
