- 1:06Speaker 6: Love you.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Gotta turn you to turn the mouth turn you probably
- 1:43Speaker 4: got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn.
- 1:46Speaker 5: The water the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come on, you'll think that. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 5: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey man oh
- 2:10Speaker 5: man got a radio show? Yeah, I do. God so
- 2:13Speaker 5: big to me, man, I just have to tell you
- 2:16Speaker 5: about it. I can't help it. It's rather obvious to
- 2:20Speaker 5: me how big, how good God is. He's absolutely tremendous.
- 2:25Speaker 5: He's off the chain, you know, man, I want to
- 2:29Speaker 5: share something with you today. You know, if you're out there,
- 2:33Speaker 5: start your mission today. Why don't we all decide together
- 2:40Speaker 5: better yet? Let's just kill that cause you don't that
- 2:42Speaker 5: just individually? Look you listening, everybody's got something that's that's
- 2:48Speaker 5: on the table that they haven't yet attacked yet.
- 2:51Speaker 2: What are you waiting for? Start your mission today?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Stop the procrastination now and if you and if you
- 2:58Speaker 5: allow prassic excuse man, if you allow procrastination to set in,
- 3:04Speaker 5: then that that allows then which is a weakness, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 5: but that allows the devil then to just really do
- 3:11Speaker 5: his thing.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Because an idle mind is the devil's playground.
- 3:15Speaker 5: So if you ain't working on your goals, dreams, aspirations
- 3:18Speaker 5: or visions, you just you're just waking up seeing how
- 3:21Speaker 5: today gon go or the devil he got plenty for
- 3:24Speaker 5: it for you to do. See. But if you get
- 3:26Speaker 5: your mind right on your goal and your focus and
- 3:29Speaker 5: your purpose, then you can go on about your business.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Then when the distraction comes, you can catch yourself. Now,
- 3:35Speaker 5: don't mean you ain't gonna fall privy or fall prey
- 3:38Speaker 5: to some of your distractions, because you will, but you
- 3:41Speaker 5: will have a goal in mind and aspiration that makes
- 3:44Speaker 5: you go. Hold on, man, I got to stay focused
- 3:47Speaker 5: here because what I really want while I'm really trying
- 3:49Speaker 5: to go the thing that I'm really after, this new
- 3:52Speaker 5: little thing that's being introduced, this don't fit into the equation. Man,
- 3:58Speaker 5: let me keep it moving. May step off the line
- 4:01Speaker 5: for a little while. You know, like I said yesterday,
- 4:03Speaker 5: thing about God is he's so forgiving that if you
- 4:06Speaker 5: get out of line, he'll hold your place. See that's
- 4:09Speaker 5: the real cool thing. A lot of people do that
- 4:10Speaker 5: for you too. Like I said, if you at the
- 4:12Speaker 5: movie theater or you at the amusement park and you're
- 4:14Speaker 5: in the line and you forget something, if you politely
- 4:17Speaker 5: ask the person behind you, hey, man, I gotta run
- 4:19Speaker 5: to my car, left something, would you hold my place?
- 4:21Speaker 5: Most people say fine, Ye'll go ahead, and when you
- 4:23Speaker 5: come back, they don't have a problem. See your problem
- 4:26Speaker 5: is is you want to get out the line, go
- 4:28Speaker 5: do something, then come back and just get up in
- 4:31Speaker 5: the line further up than you were, or cut somebody.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Now you got a problem because see everybody looking at
- 4:36Speaker 5: you now like hi, woa partner? Where you come from?
- 4:38Speaker 5: You know the line start back here? But see the
- 4:41Speaker 5: thing with God is God don't do that. God don't
- 4:44Speaker 5: say the line start back here. God holds your place.
- 4:47Speaker 5: When you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 4:50Speaker 5: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no dreams, aspiration,
- 4:55Speaker 5: if you ain't got no place, what he holding for you? See,
- 4:58Speaker 5: I mean he got a place you, but you got
- 5:01Speaker 5: to come to it. See, some people, if well here's
- 5:04Speaker 5: what I'm saying. If you got a goal of aspiration
- 5:07Speaker 5: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 5:11Speaker 5: get back to that because God knows where you left off.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things
- 5:18Speaker 5: since you stopped for a long period of time, but
- 5:21Speaker 5: God know where you left off, you can get back
- 5:23Speaker 5: on track. I look, man, this dream of being on
- 5:26Speaker 5: TV since I was a kid, and it got off track.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Now it got off track. I just kept it as
- 5:33Speaker 5: one of the dreams. And in some real dog moments
- 5:36Speaker 5: when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I
- 5:39Speaker 5: was hanging on to is just to hope that one
- 5:42Speaker 5: day it could.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But that's what faith is really about. Faith is the
- 5:46Speaker 2: belief in things that you cannot see. But faith gives
- 5:50Speaker 2: you the confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes it just
- 5:54Speaker 2: keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson say it
- 5:58Speaker 2: just keep hope alive. Some times, man, it's just the hope.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I was hanging on a hope. And I'm talking about
- 6:06Speaker 2: when it got.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Real ugly and funky out there for me, when it
- 6:10Speaker 5: looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it, and all
- 6:13Speaker 5: of the facts was in and everything pointed in the
- 6:16Speaker 5: direction you not gonna make it. You done really messed
- 6:19Speaker 5: up this time. Then I sat there and I just
- 6:22Speaker 5: hung on to the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying.
- 6:26Speaker 5: If you got a dream on aspiration of vision or something,
- 6:30Speaker 5: when you fall off track.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And you wanna go get back in line, God holds
- 6:35Speaker 2: your place.
- 6:37Speaker 5: He knew I was off tracking, out of line, but
- 6:39Speaker 5: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You wanna be
- 6:42Speaker 5: on TV. Now, when you get it together and you
- 6:44Speaker 5: quit tripping and you come and your turn to me,
- 6:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Then we're gonna finish the journey. That took me a
- 6:50Speaker 5: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, But
- 6:53Speaker 5: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 6:55Speaker 5: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 6:58Speaker 5: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 7:00Speaker 5: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 7:03Speaker 5: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 7:05Speaker 5: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 7:08Speaker 5: have stories to tell, and I can tell you about
- 7:11Speaker 5: me better than I can tell you about anybody. And
- 7:14Speaker 5: I don't been through enough whereas relatable, where enough people
- 7:18Speaker 5: can go mad that happened to me. Appreciate you saying
- 7:21Speaker 5: that that's what it was for. See, I get it now.
- 7:24Speaker 5: See at the time, though I didn't like what was
- 7:26Speaker 5: happening to me. At the time, I was really in
- 7:29Speaker 5: total disagreement with God on a lot of stuff He
- 7:32Speaker 5: was pulling off on me. But in essence I was
- 7:34Speaker 5: really pulling it off on myself. But through his grace
- 7:38Speaker 5: and mercy, he kept me through all of my mistakes,
- 7:41Speaker 5: all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations, all my misfires,
- 7:46Speaker 5: all the times I knowingly stepped out there and did wrong.
- 7:51Speaker 5: He forgave me, He said, because man, if you ever
- 7:54Speaker 5: come to me, I have a plan for you that
- 7:58Speaker 5: is going to be far and above. It will supersede
- 8:02Speaker 5: everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what I did. I
- 8:05Speaker 5: just got sick of me. Goodn't sick of me? And
- 8:09Speaker 5: I turned it over to God. And then God started
- 8:12Speaker 5: working And here I am today. Now He threw with me.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Yet Nope, Have I arrived yet? Nope? But guess what
- 8:21Speaker 5: the journey is cool? And then you know what I
- 8:24Speaker 5: found out that's kind of what it's like in life.
- 8:28Speaker 5: If you done walked off the cliff in life and
- 8:31Speaker 5: you ain't got no God in your life, it's like
- 8:33Speaker 5: not having a parachute. You step off the cliff and
- 8:37Speaker 5: you just free falling. We all now that fag gets
- 8:41Speaker 5: you closer to the grave, right see, we all heading
- 8:43Speaker 5: to the grave from the moment we're born. But the
- 8:46Speaker 5: cool thing about a relationship with God is when you
- 8:48Speaker 5: step off the cliff and you got God.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a
- 8:55Speaker 2: nice ride.
- 8:56Speaker 1: You guide and you're glide.
- 8:58Speaker 5: And you're softly, You enjoy you look, you're smiling. You're
- 9:01Speaker 5: meeting other people along the way. You're floating over here
- 9:05Speaker 5: to ski a little while. You over there at the
- 9:07Speaker 5: beach for a little while, you mess around over here,
- 9:10Speaker 5: you get to go out the country a little bit
- 9:12Speaker 5: on your parachuting and all that, and God just helps
- 9:15Speaker 5: your descent appear more like a rise and the more
- 9:19Speaker 5: like a euphoric fall. Instead of not having no God
- 9:23Speaker 5: in your life and you just walking off that cliff
- 9:26Speaker 5: every day, free falling. Ain't got no cord, You steady pulling,
- 9:30Speaker 5: you hollering the whole way because you to mess around
- 9:33Speaker 5: with yourself and ain't let God come into your life
- 9:35Speaker 5: and provide a parachute for you. I would rather have
- 9:39Speaker 5: a parachute since I got to jump every day, than
- 9:42Speaker 5: to not have one. God has been like a parachute
- 9:46Speaker 5: for me. Ask me where that came from. I can't
- 9:50Speaker 5: tell you, But like I always say, most good things
- 9:53Speaker 5: that happen in my life that I can't explain is
- 9:56Speaker 5: usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Ladies.
- 10:04Speaker 5: And gentlemen, your undivided attention just for a moment.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Okay, notice please notice he's.
- 10:12Speaker 5: Done it again, created another day as only he can do,
- 10:18Speaker 5: allowed you to be a participant in it, which only
- 10:21Speaker 5: he can do. Stop thinking it's your alarm that wakes
- 10:25Speaker 5: you up in the morning. No, no, no, it's God
- 10:27Speaker 5: that shakes you to allows you to hear your alarm.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Always get this straight. And all of this is given
- 10:34Speaker 5: to us as a gift, and that's why it's called
- 10:38Speaker 5: the present. We are all living in the gift called
- 10:43Speaker 5: the present, and be grateful for that. Man, be ever
- 10:46Speaker 5: grateful for that. This is Steve Harvin Marti Show, Sheirley
- 10:49Speaker 5: Strawberry calling Forrell Misssispi Monica Jr. And the legend that
- 10:53Speaker 5: he is nephew Tommy Junior. What's on your mind?
- 10:55Speaker 7: Man?
- 10:56Speaker 8: Yeah, I want to ask you about this up man
- 10:58Speaker 8: one role does the accountability playing your success?
- 11:01Speaker 9: About being count How do you feel about being accountable?
- 11:04Speaker 5: Well, I mean think about it, man. Your success is
- 11:09Speaker 5: dependent on two things.
- 11:12Speaker 2: God and you.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Those are the two factors that's determining your success. If
- 11:21Speaker 5: you allow other factors to come into play, that's on you.
- 11:28Speaker 5: If you allow haters to affect you, that's on You'll
- 11:32Speaker 5: If you allow your association and participation with unlike minded
- 11:38Speaker 5: people to come into your space.
- 11:40Speaker 2: That's on you.
- 11:42Speaker 5: If you choose negativity over positivity, that's on you. You've
- 11:49Speaker 5: got to be accountable for the for the fact that
- 11:54Speaker 5: you want to be happy and successful, and that's totally
- 11:57Speaker 5: dependent on you and God. As as long as you
- 12:00Speaker 5: don't allow some of the other factors to come into play,
- 12:03Speaker 5: there's a great chance that you will be happy and
- 12:06Speaker 5: you will be successful, whatever level of success.
- 12:10Speaker 7: That is.
- 12:11Speaker 2: So accountability is everything.
- 12:13Speaker 5: It's on you.
- 12:14Speaker 2: It's not the other person. Stop what did you do?
- 12:19Speaker 5: You know? Stop? Well, if they hadn't left me, Okay,
- 12:23Speaker 5: but they did though they did. Okay, so now what
- 12:28Speaker 5: now that they left you? They cheated on you, they
- 12:31Speaker 5: broke the valve, they they lied. What does that have
- 12:37Speaker 5: to do with the pack between you and God on
- 12:42Speaker 5: your way to success and happiness? That that happened is
- 12:45Speaker 5: called life. That is a factor of life, but it
- 12:50Speaker 5: should not be a determining factor of your success. Accountability.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Take accountability of yourself. Know that, and and and and
- 13:03Speaker 5: and and and get on with it. Man, it's me
- 13:07Speaker 5: And Plus, here's the other thing about accountability. You can
- 13:11Speaker 5: change you. You can't change anybody else. So the more
- 13:16Speaker 5: accountable you are to yourself, the more you can change you.
- 13:18Speaker 5: That's the fact that that's important. And just keep the
- 13:21Speaker 5: factor between you and God. And there you go.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I don't let nobody else in mind. You better, you
- 13:32Speaker 2: better have an answer.
- 13:33Speaker 9: You better be coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 9: the hour, we will hear from the nephew as he
- 13:42Speaker 9: runs that prank back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You're listening hardy morning show. Hey everyone, quick health question.

- 14:00Speaker 9: vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your immune

- 14:54Speaker 5: Man?
- 14:54Speaker 10: This is Milton. How look at your wife to reach Milton? Yeah? Yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 10: you probably heard of me before. I've been I've been
- 15:01Speaker 10: at the job probably about five years now, Chad, she
- 15:04Speaker 10: ever mentioned me? No?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Now, I don't have no milking? What's going on? Everything cool?
- 15:09Speaker 5: Everything is there?
- 15:10Speaker 10: Everything is good. Hey, listen, I wanted to have a
- 15:13Speaker 10: conversation with you.
- 15:14Speaker 7: Man.
- 15:16Speaker 10: I don't really know how to spring this on you
- 15:19Speaker 10: or whatever. But like I said, I've been working at
- 15:22Speaker 10: this spot for five years and been on to Recha
- 15:25Speaker 10: probably like around three. And I guess what I really
- 15:29Speaker 10: want to say is that I didn't I didn't gain
- 15:32Speaker 10: some feelings for Tasha.
- 15:34Speaker 5: And oh whoa whoa, whoa whoa wah wh whoa whoa. Holo.
- 15:37Speaker 11: Hold on, man, holo, holo.
- 15:39Speaker 3: You calling me and you're telling me right now you
- 15:43Speaker 3: have feelings for my wife who you work with, and
- 15:46Speaker 3: you write Teresa because that is my wife. You have
- 15:49Speaker 3: feelings for my wife?
- 15:50Speaker 5: Is that correct?
- 15:51Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 15:51Speaker 10: You know it took me a while to come forward
- 15:53Speaker 10: and say this, but you know I'm mad enough now
- 15:56Speaker 10: and I feel like me and you need to talk
- 15:58Speaker 10: about it, have you? No? No, I haven't you got
- 16:02Speaker 10: your no?
- 16:03Speaker 5: Listen.
- 16:04Speaker 10: I'm just letting you know. Today is the day that
- 16:06Speaker 10: I decided I'm not carrying this weight on my shoulders
- 16:08Speaker 10: no more. I'm getting it off of me, all right.
- 16:10Speaker 10: And at the end of the day, I love your
- 16:13Speaker 10: wife more.
- 16:13Speaker 12: Than you do.
- 16:15Speaker 3: What I.
- 16:17Speaker 10: I love your wife more than you do.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Bright So you how long you've been loving my wife?
- 16:25Speaker 3: You tell me how long you've been loving my How long?
- 16:27Speaker 3: How long you feel that you have been in love
- 16:29Speaker 3: with my wife.
- 16:30Speaker 10: I mean, I'm looking at I know, I know, I
- 16:32Speaker 10: know at least too.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Does my wife even know this?
- 16:37Speaker 10: I mean, I'm sure she's aware to a certain extent,
- 16:40Speaker 10: to a certain extent.
- 16:41Speaker 9: What what?
- 16:42Speaker 3: How how certain of the extent are we talking?
- 16:44Speaker 10: I mean, you know, when we go to lunch together,
- 16:46Speaker 10: she you know. I mean, I'm sure she know.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Y'all y'all were going to lunch together. How long y'all
- 16:50Speaker 3: been going to lunch together?
- 16:51Speaker 10: Bro, we were going to lunch together at least at
- 16:53Speaker 10: least two and a half years. I mean, we go
- 16:55Speaker 10: to lunch together almost every day. I mean we might
- 16:57Speaker 10: miss the day if she go with the girls, I
- 16:59Speaker 10: go with the fellows, so being, but for the most part,
- 17:01Speaker 10: me and her, Me and her pretty much at lunch,
- 17:03Speaker 10: she kept God, I need a.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Brouha sty hell away from my wife.
- 17:09Speaker 10: Bro.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I needed to back up. Ain't no monro because you
- 17:14Speaker 3: here to talk enough that if you didn't talk enough,
- 17:17Speaker 3: ain't no more in love, ain't no more state. You
- 17:19Speaker 3: need to stay the back, period, stay the back, man.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I don't want to hear none of that, nothing, nothing,
- 17:25Speaker 3: nothing at all, because.
- 17:27Speaker 10: Come on, we don't listen, listen, I know all about you,
- 17:31Speaker 10: trade everything about it, all right. I already know how
- 17:35Speaker 10: you treat her.
- 17:36Speaker 7: All right.
- 17:37Speaker 11: I'm hot.
- 17:38Speaker 3: I'm feeling like a strong sense station right now because
- 17:41Speaker 3: I really want to reach through the phone and just
- 17:43Speaker 3: break your neck right now.
- 17:44Speaker 10: That's what I really want to do.
- 17:46Speaker 3: That's what I really want to do. And why my
- 17:48Speaker 3: wife talking about business outside of our house hole.
- 17:50Speaker 10: That's what I'm trying to figure out. Hey. All I'm
- 17:53Speaker 10: saying is when we go to lunch, she let me
- 17:54Speaker 10: know how she's feeling. She let me know what she's
- 17:56Speaker 10: going through.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Let me stop stop with that lunch, bro, want to
- 18:00Speaker 3: hear anohing thing about lunch? Bro, ain't no more lunch
- 18:02Speaker 3: is from here on out, Bro calling me talking about
- 18:05Speaker 3: you and along with my wife people taking work. Here's
- 18:09Speaker 3: a milsing. I'm you at bro?
- 18:12Speaker 5: Where do you?
- 18:15Speaker 10: Hey?
- 18:15Speaker 9: Man?
- 18:15Speaker 10: Man, listen, calm down with all that energy you got
- 18:18Speaker 10: going on like you're gonna do something.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I'm talking You're not time? What you not nothing to work?
- 18:24Speaker 10: You're not You're not finna do nothing.

- 29:36Speaker 1: what's going on? And get it in?
- 29:41Speaker 9: Yes, last one, Steve Veronica and Faydeville writes, my teenager

- 30:17Speaker 5: how I work in the animal kingdom and everything.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so all right, all right, Colo, thank you.
- 30:23Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:25Speaker 9: some entertainment news for you right after this How to Fight.
- 30:29Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy morning show. Well another day, another reality
- 30:39Speaker 9: star arrested. Real Housewife of Potomac star Wndiosepho and her
- 30:44Speaker 9: husband Eddie were arrested on multiple fraud charges after allegedly
- 30:48Speaker 9: lying to police in April about having property stolen from
- 30:52Speaker 9: their home during a vacation. The couple filed insurance claims
- 30:56Speaker 9: for more than four hundred and fifty thousand dollars in losses,
- 31:00Speaker 9: including more than twenty thousand dollars worth of items that
- 31:02Speaker 9: the couple had previously returned to the stores for refunds,
- 31:06Speaker 9: and when sheriff's deputies searched their home on Thursday, they
- 31:10Speaker 9: say they found at least fifteen items, like a Gucci
- 31:13Speaker 9: wallet a deer shirt the couple said had been stolen.
- 31:17Speaker 9: Wendy and Eddie, who were arrested Thursday in Carroll County,
- 31:21Speaker 9: posted bond and were released. A Real Housewives franchise executive
- 31:26Speaker 9: producer Andy Cohen.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Spoke about the situation.
- 31:29Speaker 9: He said, quote, I'm a Wendy fan, and she has
- 31:31Speaker 9: been a great housewife and a great role model. She's
- 31:34Speaker 9: always led with education and her solid yeah and her
- 31:38Speaker 9: solid family values. And so I'm really thinking about her
- 31:41Speaker 9: and her family, and I'm certainly hoping this is all
- 31:44Speaker 9: some big nothing. So that's what Andy Cohen said.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Well, his problem with these reality stars they get a
- 31:50Speaker 5: dose of star dump. Yes, fame is different. It happened
- 31:55Speaker 5: with the on the Housewives member when the white couple
- 32:01Speaker 5: New Jersey. Yeah, they had to go high Todd Christly
- 32:07Speaker 5: and his wife.
- 32:08Speaker 12: Yes.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Now, uh, the black people have got to know they
- 32:14Speaker 2: can do some time.
- 32:19Speaker 9: Idea you were going there usually I know where you're going.
- 32:23Speaker 5: Really really need to start getting the affairs in order.
- 32:28Speaker 5: And know this because you know all Fadrian's husband he
- 32:32Speaker 5: had he had to go back and he had to
- 32:36Speaker 5: go back.
- 32:36Speaker 2: You can't, you can't. You can't get this new fame
- 32:39Speaker 2: and do like you want to. And what is your
- 32:42Speaker 2: lying for?
- 32:43Speaker 5: Ain't they ain't ain't ain't they got good jobs?
- 32:46Speaker 9: Yeah, she has like four degrees of pH d. He's
- 32:50Speaker 9: an attorney.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so's to teach at John professor.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Oh oh, also they got college degrees, they got books since, yes,
- 33:04Speaker 5: but they ain't got no common sense.
- 33:06Speaker 1: But see, what is it about the reality stars that
- 33:11Speaker 1: end up in trouble?
- 33:12Speaker 5: I mean because they're always trying to live up to
- 33:16Speaker 5: the height that they've created on TV. Okay, example, Housewives
- 33:22Speaker 5: of Atlanta, they was written houses to shoot some of
- 33:26Speaker 5: these scenes in that wasn't their real house. Yeah, I
- 33:31Speaker 5: didn't know that.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Wow, this Candy Birr's got money.
- 33:37Speaker 9: Yes, shout out to Meani the greatest housewife who ever lived,
- 33:41Speaker 9: shout out.
- 33:46Speaker 5: But you know, I mean some of them got to
- 33:50Speaker 5: try to live up to the height that's created on
- 33:53Speaker 5: TV to present the lifestyle that they portrayed on TV,
- 33:58Speaker 5: because oftentimes that's not a fair portrayal.
- 34:01Speaker 9: Okay, it is something that happens because friendships break up.
- 34:05Speaker 9: I mean, your best friends, like sisters before you start
- 34:09Speaker 9: getting on these reality shows. Reality show, you break up,
- 34:12Speaker 9: marriages break up.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I guess it is.
- 34:14Speaker 9: Fame is a drug.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I guess it is.
- 34:17Speaker 5: And I'm happy for the people once they get out,
- 34:20Speaker 5: you know, Yeah, of course I talked to Todd Christly
- 34:22Speaker 5: Christly because we was cool. He used to do my show.
- 34:24Speaker 5: He's a really really cool dude. And I think they
- 34:27Speaker 5: got of got, you know, off into something crazy. Anyway,
- 34:30Speaker 5: I'm glad they got out. You know, is Apollo out yet?
- 34:34Speaker 9: Yes, he's been out, He's remarried and everything.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, so you know it's gonna happen. You know,
- 34:43Speaker 5: everybody gonna get out evention.
- 34:44Speaker 9: Aaron Huger from the Real Housewives of Potomac just got
- 34:49Speaker 9: d ui.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah shaw, he.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Ain't Reality, but Puffy is still there. Just really real
- 35:00Speaker 5: get out eventually. Eventually they gonna let our Kelly out.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Eventually they gonna let our out.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Yeah, oh well, shoot shoo okay.
- 35:10Speaker 9: And other news, sad news out of Hollywood. We're gonna
- 35:13Speaker 9: switch gears here. Seventy nine year old Diane Keaton. Legendary
- 35:17Speaker 9: actors who starred in iconic films like Annie Hall, The Godfather,
- 35:21Speaker 9: and Something's Got to Give has passed away. Diane Keaton
- 35:24Speaker 9: has she was romantically linked to big names in Hollywood
- 35:28Speaker 9: like Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, and al Pacino, but she
- 35:32Speaker 9: never married them. Al Pacino said that she was the
- 35:35Speaker 9: one that got away and basically he wishes he had
- 35:39Speaker 9: married her. Diane Keaton adopted two children. They survive her fans,
- 35:44Speaker 9: reactions and tributes from celebrities are still pouring in on
- 35:47Speaker 9: social media. So to that, we say rest in peace.
- 35:50Speaker 9: Diane Keaton. Yeah, loved her, and she had just a
- 35:58Speaker 9: distinctive style her dressed. Her personality was a little quirky.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah, she was cool lady.
- 36:05Speaker 4: H Finally, rock and Turtle Nick Flash, uh huh and

- 36:44Speaker 9: were told they will remain unemployed until December ninth. Wow,
- 36:51Speaker 9: you did special education for a while when you were younger.
- 36:55Speaker 5: I got accident class an accident for about six weeks
- 37:01Speaker 5: over my report. Car we're not got.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Off the roll.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Five.

- 38:10Speaker 9: eighteen to sixty four and found that only thirty seven
- 38:13Speaker 9: percent reported having sex weekly. Some relationship experts say smartphones, tables,
- 38:19Speaker 9: computers could be the reason.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Yeah, a tablets co of like the tables it he said, tables.
- 38:31Speaker 9: Sorry, well, and that's okay, but anyway, it could be
- 38:35Speaker 9: reasons that couples are not being more intimate due to
- 38:39Speaker 9: the digital age. This leads to bedtime procrastination because everybody's
- 38:43Speaker 9: on their tablets and their phones and their computers. So

- 39:46Speaker 5: in here when I asked you to get in here,
- 39:48Speaker 5: That's all that's all I got. I just just do
- 39:51Speaker 5: like I asked you to do. If you could just
- 39:53Speaker 5: do that, then we could fix this. Get in here
- 39:56Speaker 5: when I asked you to come in here, So you
- 39:59Speaker 5: say it like that, no matter how said, she ain't
- 40:02Speaker 5: going So what the hell?

- 56:43Speaker 10: Here.
- 56:43Speaker 5: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:45Speaker 9: Nephew, thank you. Subject He's so good, yet so bad.
- 56:51Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm in my mid thirties and I've
- 56:55Speaker 9: been with my man for five years, married for two years.
- 56:58Speaker 9: I love my man greatly and he treats me like
- 57:01Speaker 9: a queen and has accepted my child as his own.
- 57:05Speaker 9: The only issue I have is that he does not
- 57:08Speaker 9: listen when we have disagreements. It's mostly because of the
- 57:11Speaker 9: way he says things to me. I have to bring
- 57:14Speaker 9: it to his attention and tell him how it makes
- 57:16Speaker 9: me feel. He usually says, well, you did this or
- 57:19Speaker 9: that to make me say things like.
- 57:21Speaker 5: That to you.
- 57:22Speaker 9: This that's not the way to communicate to anyone, and
- 57:25Speaker 9: he doesn't get it. To keep the peace, I have
- 57:28Speaker 9: to shift into I'm sorry mode and focus on his
- 57:31Speaker 9: feelings because I don't want to crush his ego. If
- 57:34Speaker 9: I ever do anything to offend him, I quickly apologize,
- 57:38Speaker 9: but he won't do the same for me. I tell
- 57:40Speaker 9: him all the time if I don't have a safe
- 57:42Speaker 9: space to express my feelings, then I shut down, and
- 57:45Speaker 9: he doesn't seem to understand that or want to understand it.
- 57:49Speaker 9: He told me that most men don't understand how women think,
- 57:53Speaker 9: and he's no exception. I don't care about most men.
- 57:56Speaker 9: I need for him to listen when I tell him
- 57:58Speaker 9: about my feelings and to a knowledge that he hurts
- 58:01Speaker 9: my feelings, then correct the behavior and stop doing it.
- 58:05Speaker 9: I feel like I'm slowly shutting down emotionally because I
- 58:08Speaker 9: always try to take care of his feelings and he
- 58:11Speaker 9: doesn't care how I feel. He tells me to get
- 58:14Speaker 9: over it because I'm always complaining about little stuff. It's
- 58:17Speaker 9: like I'm one of his homies and I'm not supposed
- 58:20Speaker 9: to get hurt by him snapping at me or yelling
- 58:22Speaker 9: at me for small things I do. I think if
- 58:26Speaker 9: he's irritated, we should talk it through. How can he
- 58:28Speaker 9: be so good and so bad at the same time.
- 58:32Speaker 9: Am I fighting a losing battle here? Well, I say this,
- 58:39Speaker 9: I'll say this. I'll put it like that. What you
- 58:42Speaker 9: are fighting is a battle of wanting this man to
- 58:46Speaker 9: change and trying to get him to change it. He's
- 58:49Speaker 9: not going to do it because he doesn't want to change.
- 58:51Speaker 5: This is who he is.
- 58:53Speaker 9: He's a stubborn man. He has old school values about women.
- 58:56Speaker 9: He has a mean streak. If he's talking to you
- 58:58Speaker 9: crazy anything, he's doing the right thing. You are doing
- 59:02Speaker 9: nothing wrong. It's perfectly natural to want to be heard
- 59:05Speaker 9: by your husband seen by your husband, but you always
- 59:08Speaker 9: give in you say you don't want to crush his ego,
- 59:12Speaker 9: but you've got to figure out how to get what
- 59:14Speaker 9: you want out of this man. I think he's always
- 59:17Speaker 9: been like this, and you thought you could change him,
- 59:20Speaker 9: like most women think they can change their men. It
- 59:23Speaker 9: was one of those red flags that you ignored because
- 59:26Speaker 9: he took in you and your child, and you say
- 59:29Speaker 9: he treats you like a queen. Although I don't see
- 59:31Speaker 9: how you can say that when you wrote this letter,
- 59:34Speaker 9: but you still got to stand up for yourself and
- 59:37Speaker 9: use your voice. You're not making him do anything like
- 59:40Speaker 9: he says. He talks to you that way because that's
- 59:43Speaker 9: who he is. He doesn't hear you because he's not
- 59:46Speaker 9: trying to hear you.
- 59:47Speaker 1: You can't go on like this.
- 59:49Speaker 9: You don't really tell us what your disagreements and arguments
- 59:52Speaker 9: are about. So it's really hard to offer any type
- 59:55Speaker 9: of solution other than marriage counseling to learn how to
- 59:58Speaker 9: better communicate with each other.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: Steve, I know exactly what's going on here. I'm not
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: even just no brainer for me. I know exactly what's
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: going on. He's so good yet so bad. She's in
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: a mid thirties, she been with her husband five years,
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: married for two, treats her like a queen. He's accepted
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: her child as his own. That means he's a good dad,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: a good father, good husband, a good provider. That's what
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: that means. And that's how you make a woman feel
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: like a queen. The problem is he doesn't know how
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: to communicate. Listen to me, This man communicates this way
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: to you because he has been allowed to. He's done
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: it before. He's always done it this way, and before you,
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: somebody didn't tolerate it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: That's why they broke up, because you ain't the first.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: And now you're trying to tolerate this person who doesn't
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: have communication skills.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: And I'm just gonna tell it to you like this.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: He usually says, well, if you do this or that
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: to make me say things to you like that, Ah, okay,
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: that's always the case. And then he told you he
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: said most men don't understand how women think, and he's
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: no exception.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: That's the truest statement.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: In this letter.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Most men do not know how women think.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: That's a fact.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: That's an impossible thing to figure out. The man who
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: could write a book this is how women think, would
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: be a billionaire. But you can't write this book because
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: you don't know how they think, and you can think.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: You know, if you want to, they're change it. I
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: promise you they will change it. So this excuse that
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: he gave you is it. It's the ongoing thing for
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: all men. Here is your problem, and we'll get into
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: it when we come back. The reason this man talks
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: to you this way over and over and does has
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: no disregard for your feelings at all, is because he
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: has been allowed to and he suffers no consequences. You
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: always say I'm sorry. If you say, he gets irritated,
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: So he has suffered no consequences. So therefore the behavior continues.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: That's it, in a nutshell. I have solved it. When
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: we come back, we'll go over some consequences.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: All right, Hang on, Steve.
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: I will have part two of your response coming up
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: at twenty three minutes to after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: Letters subject He's so good yet so bad. We'll get
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: back into it right after this.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Hi, this is Feliciavashot and you're listening to the Steve
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Shows.
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hi, this is Shirley Strawberry.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: And I'm partnering with the leave. Let me tell you
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm owe
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: some furniture around last weekend in my new place. It
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: turns out that was a really bad idea because all
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: that bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty five
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: didn't agree with my knees. So I grabbed a leaf
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: because when my body pain shows up, I need something
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: that lasts. With just one pill, A leave last up
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: to twelve hours. Don't let those aches and pains hold
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: you back from doing what's important to you. Use as directed.
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: The subject is He's so good yet so bad?
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: All right, now, I could recap this letter and take
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: a bunch of time, but let me just get to
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: the main part of this. Ladies, if you're in a
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: relationship with a man who repeatedly does something to you
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: that irritates you, and he's not fixing it, and he
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: does it over and over and over, and in order
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: for you to keep the peace, you usually have to
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: apologize to him to keep it moving. And you don't
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: feel as though you have a safe space to go
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: to in your relationship to discuss your feelings, because when
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: you bring up your feelings, he then turns around and
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: tells you, well, you did this or that which made
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: me do this, that's your man. And then he turns
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: around and tells you that most men don't understand how
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: women think, and he's no exception. All right, that's the
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: letter in a nutshell. Now, ladies, let me give you
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: the cure for this. Your man performs and acts out
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: bad behavior over and over and over because there is
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: no consequence to his actions. Period. I have said this
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: on this show before. Men respond to a few things. Pain, reward,
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: and consequence. That's are the only things we respond to.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: Because we are men, we are simple. We respond to pain,
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: we respond to reward, and we respond to consequences. If
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: there is no pain, no reward, no consequences, we're gonna
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: do like we want to. And that's every man walking,
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: living and breathing.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: This is facts. This ain't no aw Steve, you just
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: said no. I'm telling you the truth.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: So now in this letter, this man who will not
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: consider your feelings, who snaps at you when he wants to,
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: who says what he wants to say to you, blames
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: you for everything. The reason I said this to you
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: is because you said this or you did that, and
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: never apologize to you and constantly does this to you.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: It's because he suffers no pain, he gets no reward,
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: or there are no consequences. So now he is the fix.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: And I'm telling you, ladies, and you can. You can
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: sit there if you want to, until you issue consequences.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: It will continue. Let me give you an example. Let's
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: say every time your man snaps at you in public,
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: you walk away and just walk off in public? Just
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: what leave him standing there in front of whoever he
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: snapped in front of? That's it. You maybe even go
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: get in the car maybe, or just go over there
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: and start talking to somebody else at through in the
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: room or something like that.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: That consequence. Hey, what happened to you? We were standing
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: there talking?
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: No no, no, no no. I have asked you repeatedly
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: not to go off in front of me in front
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: of nobody else. That's one way all. And I don't
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: recommend this, but I've seen this work really efficiently. He snaps,
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: he goes off on you in front of somebody else.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: You know what I heard the woman say, who you
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: think you're talking to. Yes, that one right there. That work.
- 1:07:21Speaker 15: Now.
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: A lot of women won't do that because they don't
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: want to embarrass their husband in front of nobody. But
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: if it continues, who do you think you talking to?
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: Is a question directly directed to him that creates a
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: moment of pause, and I promise you the next time
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: he will think about it. Here's another one. On the
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: way home.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Ain't nobody talking?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: The quiet car ride.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Is a painful experience.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: That work.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: All you hear is breathing.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: In the car kind.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Breath in the car?
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: Sudden say he reach over and touch it with his
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: finger on your hand, snatch your hand right quick? I
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: got don't okay? We know so long when you go home?
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: Slamming doors, ooh, slamming doors, dose, slamming cupboard, slamming toilet seat, slamming.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: All that.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: We hit.
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: We just came in and cut sports and on. We're
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: trying to forget about all of a sudden doors is slamming,
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: We hid dishes, clanging extra loud, no good, and well
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: she don't make that much noise. These are called consequences,
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: which creates pain. What gets a result. So, ladies, if
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: you are not going to issue one of three things, pain, reward,
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: or consequence. Your man will continue to do. Now, reward
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: is very big. Now, when your man does something, it positive.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: Reinforcement works. Baby, Thank you so much. I know how
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: hard you're working for this family. Thank you so much.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: Most men will leave this world and die from lack
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: of appreciation. I have said that, but I don't think
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: people understand it. Being a man is hard. I'm not
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: saying being a woman ate. I'm not. That's not what
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: I'm saying. But reward is important too. But if so,
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: if you're gonna issue pain and consequences, you're gonna have
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: to balance it with some reward.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: All right, All right?
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: Now, see how Monica made that face over there? See
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: that's why I should see that that I ain't giving
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: over reward.

- 1:10:16Speaker 9: I'm partnering with the lead. Let me tell you it
- 1:10:18Speaker 9: couldn't have come at a better time. I'm move some
- 1:10:21Speaker 9: furniture around last weekend in my new place. It turns
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: out that was a really bad idea because all that
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty five didn't
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: agree with my knees. So I grabbed a leave because
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: when my body pain shows up, I need something that lasts.
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: With just one pill, a leave lasts up to twelve hours.
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: Don't let those aches and pain hold you back from

- 1:11:04Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: They got robbed by the Steeves twenty three to nine.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: I'm not okay, let me go, man.
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: The Chargers edge out the Dolphins twenty nine to twenty seven.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: Picked it, Yes, you did.

- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Did I pick that one?
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: You picked that one? Yes?
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: You did?
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: Yeah, because of course I knew Lamar wasn't playing the Seahawks.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: The Seahawks beat the Jaguars man twenty to twelve.
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: And ain't get that.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Wow, I ain't get that one.
- 1:11:41Speaker 8: The Cowboys fall to the Panthers thirty to twenty seven.
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: I don't know how they did that, but God thog,
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: it ain't looking good in Dallas again.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Dallas ought to just come on over here with Cleveland.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: Come on, all right.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: The Raiders beat the Titans twenty to ten.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: God, who beat the Titans? Raiders? The Raiders, Oh, Raiders? Yeah?
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Or everybody beat the Titans. They defied that coach though, Yeah.
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: All right, you go a good one.
- 1:12:12Speaker 10: Man.

- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Because I knew we should have picked Josh Allen.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Oh from Buffalo.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, Yeah, that's all.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: We should have picked sat Kawan Barkley at number one,
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: and we had the number three pick, both of them
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: would have been available. We could have got Josh Allen
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: had sat Kwan Barkley, we being Super Bowl by now, man,
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: if you did pick that, So that's all good.
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: The Packers, Man, the Packers beat the Bankers twenty seven
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: to eighteen.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Picked that, Yes you did, man.
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: Then the Chiefs. The Chiefs beat the Lions. Man, You're
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: Detroit Lions thirty to seventeen.
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that hurt me.
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: Damn.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: Detroit ain't going number one. Ain't going number one. The Falcons.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: The Falcons beat the Bills twenty four to fourteen.
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: On how to hell that hell? I don't remember what's
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: going on in Atlanta.
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: Penny Joseph and man John Robinson had about one hundred
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: and sixty yard Russian.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that boy ran all over the Bill.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to go and be a Falcon fan
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: in a minute. You wasn't a Brown fan, what team
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: would you gonna be a family.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Oh, I'm Detroit and Eagles all day, Jesi, I'm Detroit
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: and Eagles all day.
- 1:13:44Speaker 9: Shirley, all right, Junior, Thank you. Coming up at the
- 1:13:48Speaker 9: top of the hour, A man on social media needs
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: some advice Steve. He says, it went down in the
- 1:13:53Speaker 9: laundry room. Apartment laundry room showdown. We'll talk about it
- 1:13:57Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: Devin on Steve Harvey FM writes, I left a load
- 1:14:08Speaker 9: of laundry and our apartment building washer too long, and
- 1:14:11Speaker 9: today a huge guy cornered me in the laundry room,
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: talking about quote people like you, then said, if it
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: happens again, he'll toss my stuff in the trash. I
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: apologized and he didn't respond, but as he left, he
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: mumbled something about my appearance and slammed the door on
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: his way out. Now I'm anxious about doing the laundry.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: There at all.
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: Do I report him, try to avoid him, or stand
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: on my ground and risk turning this into a full
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: blown neighbor hued.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: What do you think? Yeah, that's a woman that wrote
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: that because he says something about her appears that you
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: could say somebody do was appear at him?
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: Really, your regular tennis shoe wearing I've got some more
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: Jordan's up there.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Tommy wouldn't like it. Somebody called him ugly or something.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: You wouldn't like that. That's a huge guy.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: Big huge behind that guy. See that's all because somebody
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: told him he was up truth anyway, But anyway, Yeah,
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: that's what that is. And uh, you know a big guy.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: Next time he's gonna throw it in the trash and
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: all that. You know, you're gonna have to get you
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: an apartment that's got to wash and dry inside all this.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to move.
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: They because I know they got apartments out there with
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: the washing dry in the hallway or your own apartment.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: That's gotta be your next requirement because going down all
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: that community washing your pant is in the.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Same same is his drawls. And you know he's big
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: and nasty.
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: Now you got all this, No, you have got to
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: move and get you in a place that's got a
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: washing drive a little minute up, washing dry in your
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: Parmit stackable. That's why I never liked none of that
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: community stuff.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Man, I can't stand sometimes it can't be helped.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: That's where you live, you got, Yeah, well that's who
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: you ain't had to live at.
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: Oh, it is a big guy. Cornering of Woman thirty.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: Five extra dollars. You had a Washington dry thirty five.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: You're trying to save money now you downstairs?
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: Yeah, well it's mean. Yeah that was awful. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: Sean on Steve Harvey FM. Sean says, about a month ago,
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: my neighbor had a garage sale. That garage sale has
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: never ended. In fact, now she's advertising on social media
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: that is becoming her own quote hometown store. Normally I
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: mind my own business, but we live on a dead
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: and street and my house is at the end of it.
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: That means people are sometimes using my driveway as a
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: turnaround spot. I've hung up signs and even parked my
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: car at the top of my driveway to put a
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: stop to that. I can't find anything illegal about it,
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: but it sure is annoying. Am I just being a
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: nosy neighbor? Or is this complaint valid?
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: Yeah? Well you can complain, but there ain't nothing you
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: can do about it. Like you said, she ain't broke
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: no law. They can just have an ongoing of gra
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: sale for help. Yeah, ain't nobody buying this stuff? You
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: just can't keep replenishing your own garage. See you gotta
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: be out of supply one minute. So ain't nobody buying
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: this stuff? Yeah, but she just trying to get all
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: of it sold. Don't nobody want that? I'm betting there
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: since she starts, what a couple of items been there
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: since she started? Don't nobody wote that mattress? Then she
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: got up against that wall. Nobody look at them stains.
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: Over there, and just buy the lady out. You just
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: buy everything that might shut it off. Yeah, here I
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: go with another suggestion. Move, you're gonna have to move.
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: You thought a good idea of being down at the end.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Of that call.
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: De sack.
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: Now they using your driveway as a U turn. You
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: park your call up at the front. Get ready?
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: All right, all right, thank you, Steve. We'll have more
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:43Speaker 9: Coming up twenty minutes after.

- 1:25:11Speaker 9: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: the day on this Tuesday. It's been a great day.
- 1:25:18Speaker 9: Thank you all for listening, and Steve, before you get
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: to your closing we do have a phone call for
- 1:25:24Speaker 9: you from a pastor who actually left comments about your closing.
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: God bless you, Steve Harvey.
- 1:25:30Speaker 13: I'm kind of running late, but this reverend will again.
- 1:25:34Speaker 13: I just want to say one thing that closing remarks
- 1:25:38Speaker 13: on October.
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: To six, how you say your pass and you talked
- 1:25:44Speaker 11: about that past.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: God love you, Steve Harvey.
- 1:25:47Speaker 10: Let God be with you.
- 1:25:49Speaker 13: That was so wonderful what you said.
- 1:25:51Speaker 10: You said your past.
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: Lead that alone.
- 1:25:55Speaker 10: God bless it. I need that could trust and believe
- 1:25:58Speaker 10: I got a pass. But that word read there to
- 1:26:01Speaker 10: encourage me.
- 1:26:03Speaker 13: Thank you Steve Harvey for that strong word.
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: To talk about that past, to leave it alone.
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: God bless you, Steve Harvey. That was so much of
- 1:26:12Speaker 10: the information that you gave me. I'm gonna keep looking
- 1:26:16Speaker 10: at your family few.
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: Thank you brother, you know, thank you.
- 1:26:20Speaker 10: Let God keep using you to tell.
- 1:26:22Speaker 13: Folks and wake folks up on situations that they're going through.
- 1:26:27Speaker 13: Trust and believe I got a pass, but I'm gonna
- 1:26:30Speaker 13: leave it alone.
- 1:26:33Speaker 10: Thank you Steve Harvey for that.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Bye bye.
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, thank you Uncle ru Yeah, that's good
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: on preaking. That's my uncle Rufus that have called in well,
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: thank him. For calling there. Hey, you know what, I
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: appreciate him saying that I've been trying to really do
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: better with my clothing remarks because I found out so
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: many people were listening in to him. I was getting
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: a lot of message from people. So I have another
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: one today. Two and the counter pertains what Junior asked
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: me this morning. It was about accountability. He said, how
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: important is accountability to you? Well, y'all listen what I
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: was explaining to Junior this morning when he asked me
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: how important is accountability? Accountability is everything, especially when you
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: understand one practice that it took me years to understand.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: My journey to happiness and success is dependent on two factors,
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: God Almighty and myself. Those are the two determining factors
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: about my happiness and about my success. And as long
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: as you keep it between the two of you. Now,
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: if you married and you've become one, and that you
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: and your wife are in agreement, that's the only other source.
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: But outside of that, as long as you keep those
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: two factors in the forefront, God Almighty and yourself, that's it.
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: I don't allow any other factors into it, or I
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: used to, but I learned to stop doing that because See,
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: as long as you know that your success and happiness
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: is just between you and God, you can get along
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: with it and you can make all the necessary corrections. See,
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: if it's just between you and God, when something goes wrong,
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: you can fix it between you and God. If you
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: allow other factors into the mix, you now have to
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: incorporate them, and they may not be willing to go
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: along with it. I give you an example. Somebody leaves you,
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: your relationship break up. Okay, Now you won't closeure in that.
- 1:28:44Speaker 5: You want them to come back and tell you they sorry.
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: You will you waiting on them to call you and
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: give you the reason why you waiting on them to
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: call you and make you feel better about it?
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: They might just be gone.
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: So now guess what if you keep the accountability between
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: you and God. Okay, listen, maybe this person leaving me
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: was a good thing for me. Be kind, Bill glaass.
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: Like I always say, behind every moment of adversity, the
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: two things happen, there's a lesson and a blessing. So
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: sometimes this lead this person leaving you could be a
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: good thing. But if you go to God immediately and
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: ask God to give you the understanding and the knowledge
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: to cope with this loss. You may find out that
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: that loss was necessary. You may find out that that
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: loss was actually a good thing. Maybe God let that
- 1:29:34Speaker 5: door close because he got another one. He wants you
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: to walk up the hall and walk through. Stop standing
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: at these doors that close in your face. Stand there
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: beating on that door, Walk up the hall. There's always
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: more doors. But the accountability is on you. If you
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: allow someone else to be the determining factor between your
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: for your happy, this in your success, you're in trouble. Man,
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: You're in a lot of trouble because suppose they don't. Oh,
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: I know what they said, but suppose they don't. I
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: know what they said they was gonna do. But suppose
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: they don't. I know the promises they made, but supposed
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: they don't. Accountability. You and God Almighty. Those two things
