- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it Steve Hard. Listen to mother for Steve Hard.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please by, I don't join join me to be doing men.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn them out, to turn turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come, come on your back at it. Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well, good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, One and only Steve Arvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, old man. Old Man symbolizes
- 2:15Speaker 1: just one thing to me. Man, it's just a constant
- 2:17Speaker 1: remind of exactly how good God has been to me
- 2:20Speaker 1: over the years. And I'm thinking for it too, because
- 2:23Speaker 1: I realize every day that I wake up that I
- 2:25Speaker 1: would be nothing without Him. That everything I am that's
- 2:30Speaker 1: any good in me, I owe to him. Now. Have
- 2:33Speaker 1: I made some mistakes along the way, yep, bunches, bunches
- 2:38Speaker 1: and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes along
- 2:42Speaker 1: the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I have
- 2:46Speaker 1: in the past, because a lot of stuff I know
- 2:50Speaker 1: better now, but you're still going to make mistakes now,
- 2:54Speaker 1: you know. Hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional errors
- 3:00Speaker 1: in my life. I've wiped quite a few of those out,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but from time to time, because we're human, we're going
- 3:07Speaker 1: to make a mistake every now and then. The trick,
- 3:10Speaker 1: what it is, y'all's not to let the devil deceive
- 3:13Speaker 1: you into thinking that once you make that mistake, that
- 3:16Speaker 1: that's it. You can't do it. You're falling off the wagon.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You can't reboard it. That's the biggest trick that he uses.
- 3:24Speaker 1: He makes you think that if you keep stumbling, that
- 3:29Speaker 1: you can't run the race. It kind of reminds me
- 3:34Speaker 1: of a marathon runner. From time to time I watch
- 3:37Speaker 1: him on TV, and you'll see some people who finish
- 3:42Speaker 1: the race, you know, in a in a nice pace.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You see people finish the race sprinting towards the finish line.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But every now and then you'll watch a marathon and
- 3:55Speaker 1: you'll see a runner and the runner is in really
- 4:00Speaker 1: really bad shape and getting close to the finish line
- 4:04Speaker 1: to the point where you see them fall, and sometimes
- 4:07Speaker 1: you see them crawling, and you see the people, the
- 4:11Speaker 1: aid people that work there trying to encourage them all.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Now they can't lift them up and walk them across
- 4:17Speaker 1: the finish line because they'll be disqualified. But you see
- 4:21Speaker 1: people staggering from side to side, I mean wobbling really
- 4:26Speaker 1: really bad. Legs are completely shot, and you're thinking, man,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I hope they make it and hang on. And a
- 4:34Speaker 1: lot of times, almost every time I've seen this person
- 4:38Speaker 1: or these people manage to somehow cross the finish line,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and then the aid workers running in and wrap them
- 4:46Speaker 1: in the luminum fall looking blanket and start trying to
- 4:51Speaker 1: get some water to them and get an IV in
- 4:53Speaker 1: their arm and get them in an ambulance. The key
- 4:56Speaker 1: is they finish the race. See, you don't get disqualified
- 5:03Speaker 1: in the marathon because you stumble. You don't. They don't.
- 5:07Speaker 1: They don't take your opportunity to finish the race because
- 5:12Speaker 1: you keep falling. That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 5:20Speaker 1: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 5:24Speaker 1: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 5:28Speaker 1: out the race. Well, that's not the case. And see
- 5:32Speaker 1: and then this thing called life, Let me help you
- 5:34Speaker 1: understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 5:38Speaker 1: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear as some
- 5:42Speaker 1: people running faster than you and all like this. And
- 5:46Speaker 1: some people gonna get to the end before you let
- 5:48Speaker 1: them go ahead. And when the end come, the end come.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I ain't in the rush to get to the end.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But in this race, though, when you're stumbling and you're falling,
- 5:57Speaker 1: it's a part of it. No one gets through the
- 6:00Speaker 1: race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side to side.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So don't let the enemy deceive you into thinking that
- 6:08Speaker 1: it's over. I try to be encouraging to people because
- 6:13Speaker 1: I don't want people to get stuck on this thing,
- 6:16Speaker 1: you know. And my walk is very different from a
- 6:19Speaker 1: lot of people's walks. And then I know a lot
- 6:21Speaker 1: of people who walking in faith the way I'm walking
- 6:23Speaker 1: in faith. But my thing in the morning is just
- 6:26Speaker 1: to remind those that is not a perfect walk man,
- 6:29Speaker 1: that it's not something that's set up where you're gonna
- 6:33Speaker 1: be skipping through life scott free without any pitfalls. You know.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I keep saying it over and over and over again because,
- 6:41Speaker 1: like I said, when I was in DC, my boy
- 6:45Speaker 1: Hondo said this to me, and it just kind of
- 6:47Speaker 1: stuck with me that the road to construct, the road
- 6:49Speaker 1: to successes always under construction. You have to figure and
- 6:54Speaker 1: count on the setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those
- 6:58Speaker 1: people that that that fight through will be the victors
- 7:03Speaker 1: in the end. You cannot give up, man, Stop going
- 7:07Speaker 1: somewhere sitting down every time something goes down. It's going
- 7:12Speaker 1: to go down. It's a part of it. It's going
- 7:16Speaker 1: to happen. It's going to occur that are going to
- 7:19Speaker 1: be setbacks. If you go and sit down every time
- 7:22Speaker 1: there's a setback, that's not how this works. Please understand
- 7:30Speaker 1: it is designed that way. If success were easy, everybody
- 7:34Speaker 1: would be successful. But success is just reserved for those
- 7:39Speaker 1: who are willing to fight through, who refuse to settle
- 7:43Speaker 1: for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now, don't get me wrong.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Success is defined by each individual. So what I may
- 7:52Speaker 1: consider to be successful, you may not consider that. You
- 7:56Speaker 1: know what Bill Gates considers successful. I might not consider
- 8:00Speaker 1: what Michael Jordan considers successful. I might not consider what
- 8:05Speaker 1: you consider successful. Your boss might not consider. You have
- 8:09Speaker 1: to define what that is for yourself. It may not
- 8:12Speaker 1: be monetary at all. You know your level of success
- 8:16Speaker 1: could be tied up in community service. It could be
- 8:19Speaker 1: tied up in family. It could be tied up into church.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Your level of success could be tied up into boys clubs,
- 8:27Speaker 1: It could be any number of things. Whatever your level
- 8:30Speaker 1: of success is, you have to determine what that is
- 8:34Speaker 1: you and the best way to determine that is to
- 8:37Speaker 1: get in touch with your maker who created you, to
- 8:41Speaker 1: find out what your mission and your purpose is so
- 8:45Speaker 1: he can put you on track. I just had this
- 8:48Speaker 1: conversation with my son and we were talking about getting
- 8:52Speaker 1: on the path that God has set up for you.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So many times we find ourselves fighting through life because
- 8:59Speaker 1: of much uncertainty, because we have no idea where we're headed.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's like one of my own sayings that I have
- 9:10Speaker 1: at my mentoring camp for boys is is that a
- 9:14Speaker 1: boy without a male role model is like an explorer
- 9:18Speaker 1: without a map. See if you don't have a map
- 9:24Speaker 1: laid out in front of you of where you're going
- 9:28Speaker 1: when you wake up every day, that pretty much explains
- 9:32Speaker 1: the feeling of confusion, the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose,
- 9:40Speaker 1: to not understanding your mission because you don't have not
- 9:46Speaker 1: gotten in touch with your creator, to find out exactly
- 9:50Speaker 1: what your path in life is. What are you supposed
- 9:53Speaker 1: to be doing? The moment you can identify that is
- 9:57Speaker 1: the moment that you get started waking up with purpose,
- 10:01Speaker 1: with the sense of direction. When you kill the sense
- 10:04Speaker 1: of I don't know what's next or what to do. Now,
- 10:07Speaker 1: there's going to be some confusing moments no matter what happened,
- 10:10Speaker 1: it's going to be some uncertainty. But at least you'll
- 10:13Speaker 1: know where you're going. So if you're tied a waking
- 10:15Speaker 1: up feeling loss, abandon confused, don't know what to do,
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back
- 10:25Speaker 1: to your makeup. Because when he created you, he had
- 10:29Speaker 1: a plan for you. When he created you, he had
- 10:32Speaker 1: a path for you. Now we've made some decisions to
- 10:36Speaker 1: get off of both of those, the mission and the path.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But God can get you right back on track. Do
- 10:43Speaker 1: that today, Talk to him about it, ask him what
- 10:46Speaker 1: you're supposed to be doing, and listen, God has all
- 10:51Speaker 1: the answers if you form the relationship. Okay, all right,
- 10:56Speaker 1: let's go show, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show

- 14:34Speaker 1: it was my ask. But we'll be back always, all right,

- 15:00Speaker 1: I was asking Tommy because he didn't get it was me. Yeah, sidetrack, Yeah, yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 1: then you know Tommy. Tommy went to the doctor yusterday,
- 15:14Speaker 1: got consultation for my colonoscopy, which will be next week.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You ain't got gonna doctor talk about it. I could
- 15:21Speaker 1: have told you what it was. What should have took

- 16:13Speaker 1: You're gonna drink this all day. You gotta start at

- 16:26Speaker 1: And just like like sometimes you have to drink like
- 16:29Speaker 1: a quarter of it at a time. Yeah, but you
- 16:32Speaker 1: gotta drink it with it. You take out so many
- 16:34Speaker 1: minutes for you to drink this quarter of You want

- 22:32Speaker 1: This manny man? I live like about four five streets
- 22:35Speaker 1: over from you this manning. How you doing, brother, I'm

- 22:47Speaker 1: really okay. Let me let me ask you something. Man.
- 22:50Speaker 1: The theme you got in your yard? Where you get
- 22:52Speaker 1: that idea from? What you mean? Where I get him from?
- 22:54Speaker 1: The idea Like you got the snow man, you got
- 22:57Speaker 1: Santa claud some rain deals, you got your whole house decorated.
- 23:01Speaker 1: You got Jesus with the manger and the wise men
- 23:05Speaker 1: around him. Where did you get your idea from? I'm
- 23:08Speaker 1: I'm lost what you're talking about. Man. You ask me
- 23:11Speaker 1: where I got a thing from? I mean you try
- 23:13Speaker 1: to imply from them. I'm I'm asking you a question.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Where did you get the idea from? I made this up.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I made up Jesus Jesus, and you know that represents crystals. Man.
- 23:23Speaker 1: You go with a team that's Christmas base man, and
- 23:25Speaker 1: that's that's Chrystmas base Jesus. There Chrystmas Jesus, and just
- 23:28Speaker 1: in Jerusalem and Beth Lamb and hey, what's what's going on? Man?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Who are you? Where you get my number from? Any
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm manning, Man, I'm manning. I got I
- 23:37Speaker 1: got your number from one of the people that live
- 23:39Speaker 1: on your street. And I'm just asking you on the
- 23:42Speaker 1: real where you get this idea from. I made this idea.
- 23:46Speaker 1: If I made this up, man, I made this up.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Get the second time you asked me where I get
- 23:50Speaker 1: here from? What are you trying to go? The real deal? Dog?
- 23:54Speaker 1: The same thing you got if you come four streets over.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I got the same thing in my yard. It looked
- 24:00Speaker 1: like you to stole my idea. And see what you
- 24:03Speaker 1: ain't gonna do is try to win Christmas Yard of
- 24:07Speaker 1: the season. And you don't stole my idea. That's the
- 24:09Speaker 1: problem I got with you. Now. The problem you got
- 24:12Speaker 1: is like to twist it, okay, because see I put
- 24:15Speaker 1: this together without here. I never even heard of you.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Many begin with sickondly. I've been doing this particular theme
- 24:21Speaker 1: in my yards as I've been standing over. I've been
- 24:23Speaker 1: stand over a six years. You ain't had that. You
- 24:25Speaker 1: ain't had that theme last year. You ain't had that. Man,
- 24:28Speaker 1: this thing last year and the year before, and I
- 24:31Speaker 1: put myself in the same place every damn time I
- 24:33Speaker 1: put it down. You did not had this last talk
- 24:35Speaker 1: about who are you to call me and tell me
- 24:37Speaker 1: about my theme and about my yard and what you
- 24:40Speaker 1: got going. I know you ain't copying there, man, I'm

- 37:28Speaker 1: the Kansas City Chiefs won their game Sunday without star
- 37:31Speaker 1: running back Kareem Hunt. Steve, you know this supports something
- 37:35Speaker 1: they'll need to keep doing for the rest of the season.
- 37:38Speaker 1: As he remains on a commissioner's exempt list following the
- 37:41Speaker 1: release of a visit. Nobody know what the commissioners exemple

- 37:52Speaker 1: The team acted swiftly upon seeing the video and released Hunt.
- 37:56Speaker 1: That it was a video showing Hunt brutally assaulting a woman.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Earlier this year, they released Hunt and who was one
- 38:04Speaker 1: of the league's top rushers. Huh yeah, Now, ladies, you
- 38:07Speaker 1: all saw the video, Yeah, yeah, just your opinion of
- 38:11Speaker 1: the video. Do you think he should uh never be
- 38:16Speaker 1: able to play in the NFL again? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 1: he should because he had an opportunity to walk away.
- 38:24Speaker 1: He should have just left and walked away. It wasn't
- 38:27Speaker 1: necessary for him to go back and do what he did,
- 38:31Speaker 1: and he lied about it, and you put your whole
- 38:33Speaker 1: career on the line by doing it. But let me
- 38:35Speaker 1: ask you something than with the video been it was.
- 38:39Speaker 1: First of all, let me say that I disagree with
- 38:41Speaker 1: every aspect of the video, okay, because I'm just about
- 38:44Speaker 1: you can't put your hands on the woman absolutely right now,
- 38:47Speaker 1: what she said to you, and all that we may
- 38:49Speaker 1: not all be privy to you, and you can have
- 38:51Speaker 1: your story and she can have you. But at the
- 38:53Speaker 1: end of the day, if you just live by that
- 38:55Speaker 1: rule right there, it would have just had you in
- 38:58Speaker 1: a better spot. Well, nobody kicking up, hitting nobody at first,
- 39:03Speaker 1: That's why you can't let it get to that. Would
- 39:05Speaker 1: it have been easier for you, ladies had it just
- 39:08Speaker 1: been the initial pushing that we saw in the beginning
- 39:10Speaker 1: of the video, or did to walk over and kick
- 39:12Speaker 1: her hard? Yeah, it was just so harsh and me necessary.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You gotta you gotta diffuse the situation to take yourself
- 39:24Speaker 1: out of that. You gotta be smart in situations like that.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Anything in the NFL, if anybody needs to learn, they
- 39:31Speaker 1: all of these young players have to learn from Ray Rice.
- 39:34Speaker 1: And yeah, it's like this, this has happened before. You know,
- 39:37Speaker 1: this has happened before with the girl when she got
- 39:41Speaker 1: thrown across the lobby and her head hit that wall
- 39:46Speaker 1: between the elevator and when she stood up she was
- 39:50Speaker 1: visibly groggy, and then when she squatted down to try
- 39:54Speaker 1: to gather herself. Yeah, when dude went over and kicked
- 39:57Speaker 1: that end, I went dog. They might would have talked
- 40:00Speaker 1: to you if you was just pushing in the hallway,
- 40:04Speaker 1: which is wrong because all that just keep going somewhere. Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 1: and Steve, he was the star running back. You threw
- 40:13Speaker 1: all that away. No, but I'm just saying, you throw
- 40:16Speaker 1: all that away, your whole career away emotion. Come on,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I just yeah, this is crazy all right? Coming up
- 40:24Speaker 1: next at thirty four after the hour, Nephew, Tommy Wild, Nephew,
- 40:27Speaker 1: you had a touching moment about your dad and being
- 40:30Speaker 1: a good husband on your show Ready to Love. We'll

- 40:35Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this you're listening to Okay,

- 41:07Speaker 1: take a listen. I know there's been times out of
- 41:10Speaker 1: your marriage, your relationship that you came to a point
- 41:12Speaker 1: where it's like with damn, can I deal with it?
- 41:14Speaker 1: You know what I can tell you on that is
- 41:16Speaker 1: I had a father that never left my mom, never
- 41:21Speaker 1: did nothing negative to my mom. My daddy left here
- 41:24Speaker 1: three years ago. It was with my mom to the end,
- 41:29Speaker 1: to the end. So that's all I know. I ain't
- 41:34Speaker 1: going nowhere. I'm to the end because I grew up
- 41:37Speaker 1: like that. I grew up with a father in my
- 41:41Speaker 1: house who was real, and I didn't know nothing about
- 41:44Speaker 1: leaving or going nowhere else. We had hard times, we
- 41:47Speaker 1: had issues, bills, this and that, so I don't know
- 41:51Speaker 1: nothing else. I said, I'm forever all right, Yeah, I
- 42:00Speaker 1: know right. I told you was gonna make you rod.
- 42:13Speaker 1: It was good. Yeah, it was good, and they were listening.
- 42:16Speaker 1: You had a captive audience. Tommy. It was good as
- 42:20Speaker 1: you got out there by yourself, like I'd have done
- 42:22Speaker 1: that before. Be talking next thing. You know, your ass
- 42:25Speaker 1: up an it. I was in it, man, trying to
- 42:30Speaker 1: get out of it. But it helped the guys. Though.
- 42:34Speaker 1: It helped the guys as far as commitment. They were,
- 42:37Speaker 1: you know, having some concerns about commitment and who should
- 42:40Speaker 1: they pick and things like that. And so after they
- 42:42Speaker 1: talked to nephew Tommy, because I saw the show and
- 42:44Speaker 1: it was really good. After they saw a nephew, then
- 42:46Speaker 1: they kind of, you know, relaxed and went had a
- 42:49Speaker 1: different attitude when they went and had their dates with
- 42:51Speaker 1: the women that they were, um, you know, taking out
- 42:54Speaker 1: for that night. Can I just go, what, sir? What Steve? Okay,
- 42:59Speaker 1: if no one had told you you was fitting to
- 43:01Speaker 1: do a clip of Tommy show, would you to believe
- 43:04Speaker 1: that was Tommy? I mean, it was so damn intelligent
- 43:10Speaker 1: and tea. I didn't hear none of that, you know,
- 43:18Speaker 1: Team Tommy. I didn't hear nothing. I heard. Man, he
- 43:23Speaker 1: teared out, Team Tommy tears. Man, let's hear it again. Look,
- 43:27Speaker 1: maybe it wasn't Tommy. Let's hear it again. I know
- 43:29Speaker 1: there's been times out of your marriage, your relationship that
- 43:31Speaker 1: you came to a point where it's like with damn,
- 43:33Speaker 1: and I deal with it. You know what I can
- 43:35Speaker 1: tell you on that is I had a father that
- 43:39Speaker 1: never left my mom, never did nothing negative to my mom.
- 43:44Speaker 1: My dad had left here three years ago. It was
- 43:47Speaker 1: with my mom to the end, to the end. So
- 43:52Speaker 1: that's all I know. I ain't going nowhere. I'm to
- 43:56Speaker 1: the end because I grew up like that. I grew
- 43:59Speaker 1: up with a a father in my house who was real,
- 44:03Speaker 1: and I didn't know nothing about leaving or going nowhere else.
- 44:06Speaker 1: We had hard times, we had issues, bills, this and that.
- 44:10Speaker 1: So I don't know nothing else. I said, I'm forever now.
- 44:16Speaker 1: That was him. Now that's it. That that ain't him.
- 44:20Speaker 1: That's it. I heard it. I heard it. Everybody's deep. Aw,
- 44:24Speaker 1: that's it. Now. I'll tell you right now that ain't here.
- 44:27Speaker 1: I hear. I've been round him the whole time he's
- 44:30Speaker 1: been on this earth. No, my damn, I don't know
- 44:35Speaker 1: who y'all got to do this right here. I don't
- 44:38Speaker 1: know who. You dubbed his voice and picks his brain
- 44:41Speaker 1: and all this skill. But that is not my nip.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I'm calling my sister. I need taking this sent to
- 44:47Speaker 1: my sister. Steve. There's video. It's Tommy. Yeah, look a

- 55:44Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. Yeah, there, and have
- 55:47Speaker 1: to put them in there. Yeah that, Oh, there's that
- 55:56Speaker 1: all right. Here we go subject my girlfriend's husband's baby.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty one year old
- 56:03Speaker 1: female and I've been dating a thirty six year old
- 56:05Speaker 1: married woman for two years. Recently, she and her husband
- 56:10Speaker 1: were having serious financial problems, so I offered to move
- 56:14Speaker 1: in with them and help out with the mortgage and
- 56:17Speaker 1: the bills. Yeah yeah. We told her husband that I
- 56:21Speaker 1: was just a co worker that needed a place to
- 56:23Speaker 1: live temporarily, and he bought it. So I moved in.
- 56:27Speaker 1: When the husband was at work or hanging out on
- 56:29Speaker 1: the weekend, me and my girlfriend would be getting it
- 56:32Speaker 1: on in their bedroom. After a while, the husband figured
- 56:36Speaker 1: out what was going on. One day when he and
- 56:39Speaker 1: I were home alone, he confronted me and told me
- 56:43Speaker 1: that he knew about me and his wife. He said
- 56:46Speaker 1: he was attracted to me too, That's why he agreed
- 56:48Speaker 1: to let me move in. So that day we ended
- 56:52Speaker 1: up making sweet love in their bedroom. Now yeah, yeah, yeah, toadjis,
- 56:59Speaker 1: Now would you think now, whenever my girlfriend is out,
- 57:03Speaker 1: I hook up with her husband. I love my girlfriend,
- 57:07Speaker 1: but there is nothing like being with a man that
- 57:10Speaker 1: puts it down the way he does. Now I see
- 57:13Speaker 1: why she doesn't want to leave this man. So here's
- 57:17Speaker 1: my problem. I just found out that I am pregnant
- 57:21Speaker 1: by my girlfriend's husband. My girlfriend would freak out if
- 57:27Speaker 1: she found out I was having sex with a man.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Her husband is secretly excited about the baby, and he
- 57:33Speaker 1: thinks we can all live as one big, happy family.
- 57:40Speaker 1: But but, but that sounds crazy to me. Should I
- 57:46Speaker 1: move out and be honest with my girlfriend? Or should
- 57:49Speaker 1: I give my baby a good home life with a
- 57:51Speaker 1: daddy and a second mom? Please advise? What? Or should
- 57:56Speaker 1: I give my baby a good home life with a
- 57:58Speaker 1: daddy and a second Yeah? Yeah, so she would just
- 58:02Speaker 1: stay there with them, have the baby be right there
- 58:05Speaker 1: with the daddy, and you know his wife would be
- 58:07Speaker 1: her second, the baby's second mom. Why oh, why just
- 58:12Speaker 1: didn't you use protection? I mean, we gotta start right there.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I mean, were you trying to get pregnant here? I mean,
- 58:18Speaker 1: because what did you think was gonna happen when you're
- 58:21Speaker 1: having sex with your girlfriend's husband? What do you think
- 58:24Speaker 1: is gonna happen if if you're doing it unprotected? First? Yes, yeah,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I'm sure you've heard this before. Though, Once you start
- 58:32Speaker 1: with the lie, then you have to tell another lie,
- 58:34Speaker 1: than another lie, than another lie, and now you have
- 58:37Speaker 1: an innocent baby on your hands. This is so irresponsible,
- 58:42Speaker 1: This is so trifling, all of your foul for your
- 58:45Speaker 1: roles in this mess. But I blame you the most,
- 58:48Speaker 1: letter writer, because you were in this just to get
- 58:50Speaker 1: what you could get out of it. I don't care
- 58:52Speaker 1: if you did say you moved in to help them
- 58:54Speaker 1: out with the bills or whatever. You just want to sex.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I mean, that's it. You want to sex with the
- 58:58Speaker 1: wifie if you want to see with the husband who
- 59:00Speaker 1: puts it down, and you see now why she won't
- 59:03Speaker 1: leave this man. This is a mess, and I say
- 59:06Speaker 1: you need to leave their home. You have made a
- 59:09Speaker 1: mess of everything. You need to fix it. The baby
- 59:12Speaker 1: deserves the best life you can give her, you and
- 59:16Speaker 1: the father can give her. And yes, someone is going
- 59:19Speaker 1: to get hurt, most likely the wife. The wife is
- 59:22Speaker 1: going to have to find out. I'm sorry, because her
- 59:24Speaker 1: husband is the father. You need a woman up and
- 59:29Speaker 1: you gotta tell her. You have to tell her because
- 59:31Speaker 1: an innocent baby is at stake here and you don't
- 59:33Speaker 1: want anything to happen to this baby. You want this
- 59:36Speaker 1: baby to have the best life like I said that
- 59:38Speaker 1: the baby can possibly have, and because of your mistakes,
- 59:42Speaker 1: you know it may not. It may not because of that.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Steve Well, this letter from the very first line. I'm
- 59:53Speaker 1: a third or one year old female. I'm dating a
- 59:56Speaker 1: thirty six year old married female woman for two years.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: He had a husband having some financial troubles. So you
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: decided to move in with him and help out with
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the mortgage and the bills. You and Hug got together
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: and told the husband that it was your co worker
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and needed a place to stay temporarily. He bought it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: You moved in when the husband at work, hanging out
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: on weekend, Me and Hug we in the bad room,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: were getting it on. Then after while the husband figured
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: out what's going on. He come back home. He'd been
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: playing golf. He come back home. He'd been down there
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: with the boys on the basketball weekend. He come back
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: on the trip. Ain't nobody else shit. He walked in
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: the door. Hey I'm here. Hey, what so you say?
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: After while he figured it. Now he ain't just figured
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: when you moved in. His boys asked him, damn dog,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you got you got you got? You got two women
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: living in your house. She a friend, she her co worker.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: What y'all got going on? If you think his friends
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: ain't asked him none of these questions, that's why he
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: didn't figure that out, because we helped him. That's what
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: friends are. One day he and I was home alone.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: He confronted me and he told me he knew about
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: me and a wife. He said he's attracted to me too,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and that's why he agreed to let me move in.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: So that day we ended up making sweet love in
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: their bad room. Damn. Now, when my ever, my girl
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: is out of hook up with her husband. So you
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: just don't leave a house. You just sit. That's funny,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: just waiting to see who's gonna be loved. That's funny.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Man to hear what y'all going out of here together?
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Go and live best life. Go? Do you get yourself
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: some me time so I can get so we time.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's funny. Now I hook up with
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: her husband. I love my girlfriend, but there's nothing like
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: being with a man that puts it down the way
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he does. I've always said that. Now I see why
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: she don't want to leaders. Man, here my problem and
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: we're gonna go to break. I just found out that
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I'm pregnant with my girlfriend's husband. Is anybody surprised? All right, look,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: hang on, I'm not. Yeah. We'll have part two of
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three after the hour,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: subject to my girlfriend's husband's baby. We'll be back right
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: after this. Wow, you're listening, all right, Steve. Come on,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my girlfriend's husband's baby quickly.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Let me just get it to you. These two women,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: as co workers, just been lovers on their job. One
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: of the chicks is married, the other girl is not.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Or the married chicken her husband fall on hard time,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: she offered to move in with him to help out
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: with the bills and everything. They both went to the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: husband told that he failed for it. She moved in.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: He thinking they just co workers until he went out
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: here ran this situation down to his boys. Now every
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: time he leave the house hearing the girl in their
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: bedroom getting it on now, she said. Her husband finally
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: figured it out one day and confronted her and said
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he was attracted to her too, That's the only reason
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: he let him moved in, So he ended up in
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: bed room making sweet love. Now whenever my girlfriend is out,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I hook up with her husband. So she hook up
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: with the husband when the girlfriend out, and hook up
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: with the girlfriend when the husband out. Her ass don't
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: leave the house. They hadn't worked it out with her
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: where she the only one got a key, so she
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: got to stay. That's hilarious, everybody thinking this cube and
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: she she just over there just wearing her hands out.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: She ain't doing it going to work and having said
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: going to work and having seen she's the damn tired
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: of her job. She is considering quit. That ain't in
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the letter. But her asses wore out. Now I see
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: why she don't want to leave this man. So here
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: my problem. I just found out I'm pregnant by my
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: girlfriend's husband. My girlfriend would freak out, and she found
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: out if I was having sex with a man. With
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: a man, you think that's the part that's going through
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: that you're having sex with her man? Her man is
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: what the girl? Her husband is secretly excited about the baby.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: This damn food. He just set up here, landed in
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: this heavenly situation, so he thinks, and so he's secretly
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: excited about the baby. Is he out of his damn man?
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: See this? That guy so good to him. He thinks
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he didn't he didn't hit the jack Pott, and he
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: thinks we can all live as one big, happy family.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Bring it in. Can't explain this down at the church
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: or nothing church. But that sounds crazy to me. That
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: sounds crazy to you. Moving in didn't sound crazy? Should
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I move out and beat them and be honest with
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: my girlfriend? Quit saying girlfriend, because y'all ain't that no more?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now? Or should I
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: give my baby a good home and a life with
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: her daddy in a second month? He didn't convince you
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: that she gonna go for this. Sherley pointed out who
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: she thought was wrong. Let me tell you who I
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: think is wrong. See, when you invite sin in, remember
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: sin is all in. It. Don't do boundaries, it don't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: do electrical, don't do raizor wild good sin get in
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: all that. So once you invite seeing in what you
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: want to go wrong? I think the wife is wrong
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: because y'all so called faked the husband in the beginning,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: told him, y'all was just co working. You've been down
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: that screwing around on your husband. What difference do it
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: make is with a woman if you ain't supposed to
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: sleep outside your man. You ain't supposed to sleep outside
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: your man. Now you're down here with this other woman
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: outside for two years on your husband. Then you bring
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: that same mess outside your house in your house. Now
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: all is fitting getting messy? All y'all wrong. You're sleeping
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: with somebody under your husband's nose in his own bed.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: She wrong for bringing her funking behind over there. Then
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: wear yourself in Now he wrong and she wrong for
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: sitting up looking at each other one day. Then they
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: started screwing. Now they don't win in there and had
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a baby. Now now you want to be worried about
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: who feelings hurt? Now this is all wrong. He think
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: we could be one happy family. This damn food no
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: good in hair? Well, this ain't gold work. Sitting up
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: in here with your wife and you pregnant, then then
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: pregnated her girlfriend who posted to be a co worker,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: who I'm pretty sure they ain't gonna ever let out
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the day kicking it na, So you just fitting to
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: be the dog that slept with the other lady. They
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: ain't gonna put their business out there, but this hell
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: for sleeping with you, that's front and center because your
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: wife can't get a prick. No, this show, damn baby.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Y'all ain't being centered in there arguing that ain't my baby? Well?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Who baby is there? Hey? Dog dog show? Damn baby. Now,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: everybody in this letter get just what they got com
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: and whatever happened to the three of them all to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: just happened? Ain't no favorites in this letter. How you
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: gonna pick your favorite food? What that sounds like that?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: How are you gonna pick your favorite food? We got
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: full fools running Which one of these fools? You? We
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: did that with the presidency? How did that work out
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: for you? This is what happened when you pick a food.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: All three of y'all that picked each other. He picked her,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: she picked him, she picked you, You picked her, then
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: he picked you, and then you picked him. Y'all just
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: in there just picking off each other. Now, ain't none
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: of y'all got what y'all thought y'all head, Ain't none
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: of y'all got what you thought you had. So now
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: guess what you're gonna have to deal with what you got?
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Once you make the bed you got to lay in him.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: The only person I feel sorry for and this whole
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: story is this child baby to be raggedy runch behind,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: sitting up in here to sit what? Let me ask
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you this here? What y'all gonna name the baby us?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: You know how you name the baby after everybody? Who
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: you gonna name the baby us? That's funny sitting up
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: in here, man, Just damn foolish, damn people in there,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: all of them screwing each other. Don't nobody, no, but
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: just woll I mean who I wanted to reenact me
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: from you? And Jay ain't gonna lie one sitting up
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: in here on what the hell I'm post to say?
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: All Right, guys, we gotta get out of here. You
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: get email introduced. Nobody in that damn Instagram? My husband,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: this is my wife in law, This is I'm the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Babish granddaddy and his Steve Harvey f M. And his uncle.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: This is his niece, cousin mother and comedy Rea coming
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: up in ten minutes right after that. You're listening, all right? Steve,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: You promised that you had a surprise for us for
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the Strubberry letter, and I really don't surprise, but I
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: really want to focus on one person in this letter
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: in particular, okay, and that is the woman who was
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: sleeping with the married woman for two years who ended
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: up moving into the house and and the husband didn't
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: know that they had relationships. So every time the husband
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: would go out, she being there the bed making sweet
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: love to the woman. Then one day the man say
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: he figured out what they was doing, but he attracted
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: her too. So when the woman left the house, she
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: was in there making sweet love to the husband. Yeah.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Now what didn't happened me is she didn't wind up
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: getting pregnant, and she don't know how to tell it
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to her girlfriend, who is the wife of the husband
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: and the huband's supposed to be secretly happy because he
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: having the baby. He thinks they fit to be all
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: one big happy family. That was the letter. But my
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: focus in this letter is the woman that moved in
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: with the married people, the wife's girlfriend, with the falseness
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: that they was just friends, her and the girl. But
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: they've been in there just lighting the room up. Then
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: come to find out, he found out. And so now
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: when she gone him and her back, they're doing it.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: And when he gone her and her back there do
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: it her husband's baby. Mama high tide is she yea?
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: If she ain't exhausted. She didn't. She didn't been off motor.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: She could choose because they keep leaving now, she just
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: sitting on the porch in a rocking chair. You leaving now, Yep,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna run over here in holiday board. But wink
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: wink when I get back though, Oh well, guess I
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: going in here and see what she wants. It's you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: know what I want? What you've been doing? Baby? Nothing? Men?
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Me and Carl? Was that him? You know what time?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: It is? Tuesday? Now, that's how day, Tuesdays and Friday.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Just want you come on in here? Well I would,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: but I'm tired now you ain't that time, don't can't
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: come on back? Ain't here? So now he the wife tied.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: But the one that's really tired is who that health
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: out on the porch, just watching who coming and who going?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Letting her know what show she got to put on?
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Because the two different shows, ain't it? Yeah, it's two
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: different shows. It's when she and there with the man,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that's one show. Yeah, she and that with the woman,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: that's another show. If you ever get that too much show,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: that show that's like a movie that's too long. You've
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: been the four hour movie yes, where the disc gonna in.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I don't know, man, what y'all think fellas give me
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: some some things that the girl to tide girl gonna
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: be saying. I ain't tell you what she's said. She said,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: when both of y'all gonna go someplace? I need a break.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Actually walking around the house is Sunday morning. You know,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: families to go to chap you know, Applebee's got that
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: new coupon. I cut y'all one out. What y'all gonna see?
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Y'all grandparents, some drive somewhere. Just get out of the house.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: He has got that two for twenty. Because I'm tired
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: and I'm getting confused on what I'm supposed to be doing,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: not confused or who I'm supposed to be. What y'all
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: in here doing? The here and here? I don't know what? Girl?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Why did you invite me
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: over here? With all this at you? Sounded like get
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: out did when I started. But listen, girl, down, girl,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I'm going down. Unemployment to moll has just gone and
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: knit it. I can't do this. Still, Oh that's too much.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Do y'all ever sleep together? Question? She asked? Still, yeah,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: y'all ever hook up the husband and wife. I need
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: a break. I need a break. I ain't I can't
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: be that good. They all want me, They all want
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: all of this, all of that, They want all of it. Yea,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: she had worked sleep, Yeah, she sleep all of her
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: dance and everything. I have to get a day off.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Her head didn't flip back so hard in that chair
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: with you. She didn't flip hop through her ass out
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: of her cubicle. She ain't getting no work done. Oh man.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: And she walking past her girlfriend a word blowing kisses
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: out in winking. She ain't handling that good in the
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: stop winking. The house. Yeah, gonna see you at the house.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I think I'm working late. Yeah, Then all of a
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: sudden they say I'm not. Hello, Oh so you in
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: here working late tonight? Huh? And keep you company? You know,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I know she had the house about sleep. You know
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: what I'm saying. He's really tall. Don't feel sorry for her.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I don't feel sorry for the husband, and I do
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: not feel sorry for the wife. All of them filers.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: They want to be and then all of them want
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: to get treated right. All I've been in there doing
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: each other wrong. Now they want somebody to treat them right, man,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: get out of here and all right. Well, coming up next,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade talked to um Oprah about
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: the backlash they received when they had this baby. We'll
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: talk about that right after this. What you're listening to
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: show Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade recently welcome daughter Kavia
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: James via Sarah Good Now. They're talking to Oprah Winfrey
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: about that experienced Steve and the backlash they've received because
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: of it, and an all new special Oprah at Home
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: with Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade and their new baby is
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: the title. The two reveal that people questioned why they
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: announced their daughter's birth with Gabrielle resting in a hospital.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Bit everyone started talking about why she acted like she
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: had just had a baby, Duane said. When Oprah asked
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: her to explain, Gabrielle referenced her fertility struggles and added,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: it's still hard to let go. Kavia is Gabrielle's first child.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Duane has three sons and a nephew he's raising and
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you can hear all about it when Oprah at Home
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: with Gabrielle Union Dwyane Wade and their new baby airs
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: on Saturday night on own Why would ay Man at
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Gabrielle because she was in the hospital. She didn't actually
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: carried the baby, and so when they posted the picture,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: she was holding the baby as if she delivered the baby,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: but it's her baby. Was at least she carried the baby,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: and they thought it was deception, you know. No, I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: don't know, But could it be that she just wanted
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to be in the hospital for the birth of her baby.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: It was, and she could sit there and she wanted
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the feeling of someone bringing her a baby. Could she
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: have just wanted that feeling. Yes, she wanted to bond
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: with her infant baby at that moment, and she has
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: every right. So I'm I'm confused, Well, she can't lay
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: in the hospital because she's always dreamed of having a
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: baby presented to her. Maybe well, I don't know, but
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I'm just asking. No, it was almost like people thought
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: she was trying to fool them, like she had actually
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: carried the baby and had the baby deliver with the
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: baby herself. So they were upset about that. That's what
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: the picture represented to them, you see what I'm saying.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: So they were mad about that, and then when she
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: was lying down had the baby on her chest, skin
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: on skin. They got mad about that because it looked like,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: you know, she had gone through the pregnancy and everything.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: So I guess people that have gone through pregnancies or whatever,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: they were upset and people get mad about everything. Why
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: so Gabrielle's her mother? Yes, yes, she the baby can't
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: lay on her skin? Exactly, I'm confused, exactly, can't do anything.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: So ain't no word about these two loving people, this
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: woman struggled with fertility, him fighting through, and finally her
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: having the joy of having a baby. Absolutely, don't nobody
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: just see that, that there's this child that comes into
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a loving relationship from two people who really want them.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Not if you're a hater, you don't see what well,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: how are you seeing that? If you're a hater, I
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: mean really, if you're a hater, you don't see the love,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean, you don't see all that
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: and all the struggle that they've gone through. You just
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: see But you know, it's amazing to me, the negative
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: it's and it's so unnecessary. It's an innocent, beautiful baby. See,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you're so busy trying to find what's wrong that you
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: would never get to the horse? Right? And don't you
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: not understand that that transfers into your life. All haters
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: that I know, real haters have miserable lives. Yeah they
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: have miserable lives. Well yeah, yeah, absolutely they do. I mean, man,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you first of all, it starts with your life so miserable.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: You first of all have to create a fake page
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: so you don't want nobody know issue you. Right, right,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: let's start that. Man, if you ever noticed that gone
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: somebody who is saying something crazy about you? Oh yeah,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: they all problem because they cowards. But they cowards man,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: and they just say stuff, you know, like you know,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: it's it's like this has one thing. I'm just talking
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: about the ig right now. First of all, congratulations to
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: d Wade, and yeah, congratulation girl, and thank you d
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Wade for loving her enough to want to help make
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: her dreams come true, because you know, he could have said, look,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I don't want them more kids. We gotta know rights too,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: all of that. But then that they love each other
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: enough that they wanted to have a child together d
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Wade and Gabrielle. Why I don't know why people can't
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: see this part of it, but anyway, haters can't see that.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: It's it's amazing, man, we get so much of it.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You hate that you hate your Linda Adams pitch you
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: with President Bush. I mean, man, what I took care
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: of a girl on that. Don't worry about that. I
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: lit them up, But you know it's amazing. Let me
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: say this to haters, to people who spend their time
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: spread negativity, This negativity that you're spreading, that you're meaning
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: to be so harmful and hateful, there's a penalty for that,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and the penalty is paid by you. You don't get
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: to freely go through life messing over people. You don't
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: get to freely skip through life spread and gossip in
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: lies about people. You don't freely get to do that.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: You may think, as you're typing that you're getting away
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: with it, and you press sin and you sit back
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: and yeah, they lighten them up. Now that doesn't work
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: the way you think it works. It really really does it.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: But it will work and manifests itself in your life.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: For show. See some of these people but you hate,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: none happened to be covered. Some of these people you
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: hate non happen to have a relationship what they created.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: They God, some of these people you hate none, they
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: live by codes where your hate really don't affect them
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: because they don't even know you exist. All this hate. No,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Gabrielle and Dwayne, they still got the baby. But guess
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: what that hating that you're putting out, it has to
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: come back your way because that's what you put out.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: That's the radio wave you submit. Don't be tripping when
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: that wave come back to you because that's the button
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you pressed. That's so true. That is so true. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: So again, congratulations to Gabrielle Union and to d Wade.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Don't forget. You can hear all about their journey when
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Oprah at Home with Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade and their
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: new baby airs on Saturday night on Own and We'll
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: be back coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Show right after this, you're listening to String Show. And
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Aussie woman received the ultimate offer of freedom from her
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: future in laws. Guys, At first, everything was great between
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: this woman and her boyfriend Jeremy. After about eighteen months together,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: they found themselves pregnant and after their daughter. After they
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: had their daughter and the guy Jeremy proposed but the
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: woman notes that in a year after their daughter was born,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: things started to go downhill. You know, they weren't getting
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: along anymore. Then Jeremy's well off British family came to
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: visit them, and they weren't exactly happy with the Jeremy's
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: choice of a mate either, So Jeremy's dad asked the
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: woman to go for a walk. When they went for
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: a walk, he offered her twenty thousand dollars to break
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: up with Jeremy, but she asked for thirty thousand dollars,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: and well, they agreed. She took it the that's just history.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: What she got it there, broke for thirty got out
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: for that price. Crazy, It is crazy. Okay, Now where
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: was this in London? Australia? She's an nasty woman, Yeah, Australia.

- 1:25:27Speaker 1: gonna take you for a walk. But yeah, yeah, twenty
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: k your brand, she got a real You're gonna get

- 1:25:50Speaker 1: they went for a walk when they're walking the wood
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: in the woods. Well, I I want to walk. We're
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: gonna take we write it here. We are driving out here.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I'm ana walking the wood. I'm nice, quiet, I'm countriable.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I know, I know a little bit about the wood. Yeah,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: you know. You can hear stuff in the woods, and
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: you came your stuff in the wood. That's why all
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: the trees fall. And the question came if a tree
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: falls in the force, if you ain't that of here
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: doesn't make a noise. That's where they come from, right right,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: because I'd be dog gone. Dudes be walking back the
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: next day. Man, a tree on the I ain't even
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: here fallt wll it failed. But you're gonna get away
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: from here. But there ain't gonna be with no thirty thousand.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: I got some other way to get you up away
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: from mine. It ain't gonna be thirty. It just lets
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: me know that she was just as sick of Jeremy
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: as he was of her. Yeah, yeah, they were sick
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: each other. Five on the deal too, Jeremy. But Jeremy
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: told his mama and daddy he was sick. That's how
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: the daddy came over. Okay, look I tell you what. Look,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: this ain't just the mass boarding got itself trouble right here.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Why don't you call your little life has on out
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: of here for twenty thousand? You give me thirty fine,

- 1:29:59Speaker 1: inches long. Eddie's rep says both mother and son are
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: doing well. Max joints big sister is he una Uh.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: Eddie's other children are Eric Belizara Zola Ivy, Shane Adra
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Brea and Miles Mitchell Range. And I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: tell you something sixteen to twenty. I've been around him
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: a couple of times with his kids. That dude right there,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: man is an excellent father. Eddie Murphy is a great father.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: And you want to know if a father is really good,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Listen the way their children talk about I watched your
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: son talk about his father Man. I said, Wow, this
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: is a dude and put some time in because his
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: son was right on point. You know the ones he
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: had when nicole them kids right there, Man? Them some
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: great kids. And the other kids I know, I know
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: all of them. I saw the one that is he
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: is he the latest one? Yeah? Yeah, she's two. You
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: at a moment, Hunt, Steve, when you walk in and
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: what you say, just what I just said. Hell, I
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: got to go get some more money, I said, I
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: have got to go get some more money. Man in
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: La to have a house like that, it's unbelievable. I'm I'm, I'm,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I'm I'm really telling you. Yeah, beautiful home, beautiful home. Wow. Yeah. Well,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: congratulations again to Eddie Murphy never being a great father too. Yeah,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: and for being a great father. You know, look, all
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: our kids make mistakes. We we If you got kids,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: your kids are gonna make a mistake. Your kids gonna
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: do something to embarrass your ass. Just know that and
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: hurt and sometimes they're gonna hurt you. You're right, all right?
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: Coming up, last break of the day and Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: We'll be back at forty nine after the hour right
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: after this. You're listening. Here we are, Steve, last break
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: of the day. It's been a good Tuesday, Nephew. Back yesterday.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: I've got an idea. Okay, my clothes were remarked today.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: I'd like to do like a business type clothes on remark. Okay, So, like,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: if you all have any questions that I can answer
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: concerning business and businesses or principles of success or anything
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: like that that I can share with the people out
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: there today. Oh okay, So let's take a couple of
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: questions or finance questions or business questions or principal questions.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: That's my closing remarks. Did they anybody? Yeah? I got one.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: There was a lady on there who who had her
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: own hair care prodigy and the answer that you gave
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: her about, you know, selling part of your business to
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: get investors, which is something a lot of people don't do.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: I think you know, on the radio, a lot of
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: radio people would like to hear that. So could you
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: explain that? Well, you know, this woman was saying that
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: she created this hair business and she thinks it's going good,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: but she doesn't have any money right now to move
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: it forward with advertising. And so I said, well, if
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: you have a young business that look like it has
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: a potential to do well, or you're making sales, but
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: you can't get to the new to the next level,
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: I was saying, why don't you find someone who might
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: be interested in investing in a business? You know you
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: could get family members to join in and invest for
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: a percentage a lot quicker than you can oftentimes from
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: going to a bank. Most banks don't loan business is
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: money until they've been open for at least two years.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: And that's the troubling part, because you got to get
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: to the two year mark. So I would offer seventeen
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: percent of the company for a price, or fifteen percent
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: of the company twelve something like that. And if you
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: could get a lot of money that would do it
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: for you can offer, you know, twenty five percent of
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: your business or thirty three percent of your business. That's
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: always a smarter way to try it. But most people
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: try to hang on to that company, so they ain't
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: say they owning up on it. A lot of nothing.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: This is like Shark Tank, Steve. I was gonna I
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: was gonna ask you how do you find investors? But
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: I think you kind of answered it well, you know,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you gotta kind of put it out there at first.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: You gotta give me a gofund me page. Then put
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: your stuff up let people know about it. You could
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: be an investor that you don't know. But a lot
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: of you, some of you have uncles and aunts that
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: are a little bit more successful than your immediate family.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Have you shared with them your ideas and things like list, okay,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: go ahead, tell me, thank you. And I'm just saying
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: I got one, don't have one. I do have one.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: So I have this. I have this idea about an
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: app um it's app something I can really make money
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: off well. Successful apps are huge and you don't have
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: to do a lot. Harvey's Hundreds is one of the
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: really really good new apps of the year. Came out
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: last week and sept Timber. I've got over three hundred
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: thousand apps out there now playing Harvey's Hundreds. And yeah, man,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: what's my first step? And you have an ideal, and
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: you know you're scared to tell somebody because you don't
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: want anybody to take your idea? What's my first step?
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: When you have all you gotta get it to an
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: app store or developer. You gotta get to a developer,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: someone who develops apps, and you gotta cut the deal
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: with them. You know, you could do you have money
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: to pay them for it, to flush it out, to
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: practice on it, to make it work. You know, do
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: you cut a deal with an app company that says, hey,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: let's do this app together. Here's my idea. If you
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: all do all the work and the putting behind it,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: I'll be your partner in it, you know, seventy thirty
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: or something like that, sixty forty, you know, but you
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: gotta get a developer first. That's what I did. Step. Yeah,
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: I have a company, you can go to it. I
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: need that that's done. Seriously. Does it depend on the
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: business steve that you want to start. How much money
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: you need to have initially to start the business with. Well,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: listen to me. Most businesses can be started with zero money.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: Most businesses can be started with the zero money you
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: got to start yourself. Most people that come up with
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: business ideas, it's something that you can do yourself. I mean,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: what a better way to start. It's hard to start
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: a business for somebody else and go hey, look, I
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: thought it is for you. You always think of a
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: business for yourself. So immediately, if you think this business
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: is a good idea, it probably has something to do
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: with something you can do that can generate money. That's
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: usually the case. You know now, apple Ism being invented
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: every day, Cisco's aren't being invented every day. But your
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: idea can be invented different ways. I don't care if
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: it's selling T shirts online. Your business idea has been
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: done before some way form of fashion. So get to
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: doing what you can do to turn some money. Don't
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: stop thinking ideas where if you need everybody else to
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: do something in order for you to make money, you're
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: gonna be waiting a long time. You've got to do
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: something where you could generate the money. That's the first
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: place that starts. But then you got to put a
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: real doggish effort with it and you can turn it
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: into some real money. Everybody does something where they can
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: make ten dollars. So, Steve, maybe you can speak on fear.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Fear holding people back. What can you say to people?
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: You know, fear is the number one cause of failure
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: in the country today. Fear is the number one cause
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: of failure because fear freezes you from even starting, and
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: if you don't start, you have failed. The failure begins
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: in the fear of it. You've got to overcome your fear.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: But this is what I did. I made all my
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: dreams bigger than my fears. I dreamed so big, I
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: wanted so much, so incredible that all of my dreams
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: are bigger than my fears. So I got a reason
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: to face my fears. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary
