- 1:24Speaker 1: my next guest. He's on the phone and you can
- 1:26Speaker 1: currently see him on four different television shows. That's how
- 1:30Speaker 1: busy he is in You can catch him on as
- 1:33Speaker 1: Charlie on ABC is Very Popular Black Age, where he
- 1:36Speaker 1: was an n double a cp Image Award nominee for
- 1:39Speaker 1: Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and on ABC
- 1:43Speaker 1: Family Grown Ish, TBS Detective Daniel d. J. Tanner on
- 1:49Speaker 1: the TBS comedy Angie Tribecker, and the host of bt
- 1:53Speaker 1: S game shows Face Value opposite Tiffany Hates. He's also
- 1:58Speaker 1: a writer. I didn't know that I started doing my research,
- 2:01Speaker 1: which means we share a lot in comic he's an
- 2:04Speaker 1: Emmy nominated writer, actor, very funny, stand up comedian and entrepreneur.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Please work on the money making conversations comedian Dean Cole, Hey,
- 2:14Speaker 1: how are you doing? Bro? How are you? How are
- 2:16Speaker 1: you selling? I feel really good and a big fan.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Literally get that out the way first, because, uh, in
- 2:22Speaker 1: the business where you get to see talent and you
- 2:24Speaker 1: get to see people grow over the last twenty years, Uh,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I've been able to watch your talent. And one of
- 2:29Speaker 1: the funny backstories about how you got started because you're
- 2:32Speaker 1: you're from Chicago, right, yes, okay, and you got started
- 2:35Speaker 1: on like a fifty dollar joke if I remember correctly, right, yeah, bad,
- 2:40Speaker 1: there was a fifty dollar bad that it was fifty
- 2:43Speaker 1: dollars and never looked back. Now, now here's the funny
- 2:49Speaker 1: part about it is that you know my background, Uh,
- 2:51Speaker 1: everybody knowing from management, producing TV shows and and I
- 2:55Speaker 1: was I would say, I'm I'm still a stand up comic.
- 2:59Speaker 1: How can you take that title away from me? Is
- 3:01Speaker 1: that is that I was a writer. I was a
- 3:04Speaker 1: sitcom writer. Now early on were you were you doing
- 3:07Speaker 1: stand up and you was a writer because you were
- 3:08Speaker 1: doing the Tonight Show. Conan O'Brien. Correct, he I was
- 3:13Speaker 1: doing the Uh used to write for Conan O'Brien for
- 3:16Speaker 1: about seven years. Uh. I was always stand up, started
- 3:20Speaker 1: off and stand up. Still a stand up um. And
- 3:24Speaker 1: then that led to me performing on the Tonight Show
- 3:29Speaker 1: as a guest, and from there Conan picked me up
- 3:33Speaker 1: to be a writer on his staff and then I
- 3:37Speaker 1: what's with him for? Like, like I said, about seven
- 3:40Speaker 1: years and I'm still I still rock with him to
- 3:43Speaker 1: this day. Like, uh's a new show coming on TBS. Um.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I was his last guest on his other formatted show
- 3:51Speaker 1: that was on TBS and he's revamping this new show
- 3:55Speaker 1: was like a thirty minute show instead of an hour show,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and uh, I'll be on there as well. So yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 1: still rock with Connor. We toured this year, just some
- 4:04Speaker 1: stand up shows and so yeah, it's a very good
- 4:09Speaker 1: friend of my UH man guy who changed my life
- 4:12Speaker 1: and always em better to him. That's important because you know, uh,
- 4:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, it was an important asset in my life.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Gave me my first writing job in sitcom. Yeah, you know,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and so I know what you I know what relationships
- 4:25Speaker 1: can do for you, you know, because they can open absolutely,
- 4:28Speaker 1: absolutely the beauty. I like about your careers that somebody
- 4:31Speaker 1: opened the door, but you didn't let it close. Nah.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Nah and and and and ayre you bringing up Steve Harvey.
- 4:40Speaker 1: He was another inffluential person in my life as far
- 4:43Speaker 1: as where I'm at today. Steve and I go way
- 4:47Speaker 1: back from him performing in Chicago and started his radio
- 4:52Speaker 1: career in Chicago. We used to perform at all jokes
- 4:56Speaker 1: aside in Chicago, used to do the radio yo in
- 5:00Speaker 1: order to promote his show. That's how he started. He
- 5:02Speaker 1: would do the radio for free. Well while he would
- 5:05Speaker 1: be doing his show the club, We're trying to find
- 5:09Speaker 1: new talent to do five minutes in front of him
- 5:12Speaker 1: every night, and out of everybody, they chose me and
- 5:16Speaker 1: I used to do five minutes in front of him,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and then me and him would go out and my
- 5:20Speaker 1: mother's car later at night and hang out around the
- 5:23Speaker 1: city or whatever. After that, we had plenty conversations about
- 5:29Speaker 1: just uh, stand up and how to and how to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be and then what to do, and then then that
- 5:35Speaker 1: to him getting several jobs, which he had this philosophy
- 5:42Speaker 1: which was ABC always to be closing. And I seen him.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I've seen him one time on a lot while I
- 5:50Speaker 1: was at Coned. I hadn't seen him in a while.
- 5:52Speaker 1: And when I've seen him over and he knew I
- 5:54Speaker 1: was right for Coned and he was about to I
- 5:57Speaker 1: think he was about to start family feud. Uh I
- 6:00Speaker 1: think he was. I have a like, uh, yeah he was.
- 6:03Speaker 1: He's having meetings and stuff, and um, I told him
- 6:08Speaker 1: what I was doing. We have another conversation in the
- 6:11Speaker 1: parking lot and he influenced me to never marvel with
- 6:18Speaker 1: your success, you know. He influenced me to be like,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you know, just you know, when you do something, you
- 6:25Speaker 1: do that and let that catapult another thing. Don't marvel
- 6:29Speaker 1: and the thing that you're in. And that was very
- 6:32Speaker 1: influential with me, which let me to be where I
- 6:35Speaker 1: am now. You know, so multiple streets of anchor, which
- 6:39Speaker 1: is multiple and that's very important. So let's talk about
- 6:44Speaker 1: But I think I like about the shows that they
- 6:47Speaker 1: all are different. They are they all bring out a
- 6:50Speaker 1: different talent of yours. They allow you to be a
- 6:52Speaker 1: different personalities. That by is that you know, we all
- 6:56Speaker 1: just trying to work, but unfortunately, fortunately for you it's
- 6:59Speaker 1: worked out. That tell me about the you know, GROWNI
- 7:02Speaker 1: ish your role on that and because I don't ever
- 7:05Speaker 1: assume that everybody knows everybody. So let's talk about the
- 7:10Speaker 1: show where you are nominated for Outstanding Supported Actor in
- 7:15Speaker 1: a Comedy Series. Yeah. Absolutely, Black Is is a show
- 7:19Speaker 1: that was very necessary. Um uh. It catapulted this movement
- 7:25Speaker 1: which is going on right now with a lot of
- 7:28Speaker 1: black actors actresses on television right now, where there wasn't
- 7:33Speaker 1: a lot of black shows on the air at the time.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And then when when Black Is came out and people
- 7:40Speaker 1: see how well it did, I think it's like help
- 7:44Speaker 1: catapult other networks to be like, man, we need a
- 7:46Speaker 1: black show. But the difference of the shows now, you know,
- 7:51Speaker 1: it's no, it's no longer like just a black face
- 7:55Speaker 1: on a show or black faces to make up a
- 7:58Speaker 1: black show. What we did was we became a black voice,
- 8:02Speaker 1: which is way more important. And so as we became
- 8:06Speaker 1: that open doors for other black voices, shows that had
- 8:10Speaker 1: black voices that spoke to how we feel in America
- 8:14Speaker 1: and what we're going through whatever. And it was very
- 8:17Speaker 1: and it was like we didn't know the magnitude what
- 8:21Speaker 1: was gonna go on. We just we had something special,
- 8:24Speaker 1: but we didn't know the magnitude. And when when it
- 8:27Speaker 1: resonated with the people, we were so excited to uphold
- 8:32Speaker 1: the torch and keep going with it. You know, Black
- 8:34Speaker 1: It is very important show, uh to this day. I
- 8:37Speaker 1: think it's relevant to all races to be a blueprint
- 8:42Speaker 1: to what's going on right now. So being a part
- 8:46Speaker 1: of that movement has been life changing, um and always
- 8:52Speaker 1: would be indebted to you know, Kenya Barris, Anthony Anderson
- 8:56Speaker 1: as well. So, uh, it's a great show. Growners is
- 9:00Speaker 1: a spin off of that. Whether teenage girl yarn she
- 9:05Speaker 1: goes out to go to college and lives a life
- 9:08Speaker 1: of virus being grown you know. I played Charlie Kelfy
- 9:12Speaker 1: on both shows, which is a coworker Anthony's in the office,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and and then on Grownish I became being the students
- 9:22Speaker 1: of there being an adjunct professor. But you know, it
- 9:27Speaker 1: all works out man, in the funny of it, you know.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So that's my relationship. That's my relationships. That's my relationship.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Now that you're an actor, a comedic actor, and you're writer,
- 9:40Speaker 1: do they allow you to any input into some of
- 9:43Speaker 1: the scripts? Are are using strictly there to recite the
- 9:48Speaker 1: scripts that they give you? No, Um, they give us
- 9:53Speaker 1: They give us plenty times to like att like definitely.
- 9:58Speaker 1: H we we at lev uh like they we we
- 10:04Speaker 1: go through the script, we shoot it, and then after
- 10:06Speaker 1: we shoot it, if it's something that comes out, they
- 10:09Speaker 1: let us start in there and then they'll give us
- 10:11Speaker 1: a take to do what we want to uh after
- 10:15Speaker 1: that too, because we have different directors every week, so
- 10:19Speaker 1: different directors do different things. But yeah, they definitely let us,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you know, stretch out a little bit. But we're on
- 10:26Speaker 1: the phone with Cole. Uh, We'll be right back. Here's
- 10:29Speaker 1: a couple of more shows bears on TV everywhere. Multiple
- 10:31Speaker 1: streets of Income. Will be right back on money Making
- 10:34Speaker 1: Conversations with Uncle Hi, just ra Sean McDonald. You're listening
- 10:40Speaker 1: to money making Conversations having I'm having an incredible interview.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Well individual, I'm a long time fan of just watching
- 10:48Speaker 1: his career as a writer, as a stand up He's uh,
- 10:51Speaker 1: he's right now. He's mastering the art of multiple streams
- 10:54Speaker 1: of income in Hollywood. Where I say that because you
- 10:57Speaker 1: can see him on Blackish, which is so ABC, can
- 11:00Speaker 1: see him on Grownish, which is on ABC Family. You
- 11:02Speaker 1: can see him on TVs and The Angel Tribeca Detective
- 11:06Speaker 1: comedy series and he's now the host. He's in my
- 11:09Speaker 1: lane now, you know, game show lane, face value, the
- 11:14Speaker 1: very popular and busy Tiffany Haddish. Okay, how you in
- 11:18Speaker 1: the game Sholane not come on? Well the game show.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Shout on Towando fights who created it? So on BT
- 11:26Speaker 1: we did one little We did a season of that
- 11:29Speaker 1: and um, we were waiting to see what was gonna
- 11:32Speaker 1: go on, what happened whatever. I'm not sure if it's
- 11:35Speaker 1: coming back, and I don't know, I would like for
- 11:37Speaker 1: it to come back, but sure we've been waiting. I mean,
- 11:40Speaker 1: Tiffany is through the atmosphere right now with what she's doing.
- 11:45Speaker 1: So I don't know if Tiffany's coming back to sidekick
- 11:50Speaker 1: on the games, you know, not a sidekick really, but
- 11:54Speaker 1: like just doing man on the Street type stuff. But
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, it was a fantastic Oh and I love
- 12:00Speaker 1: to do it again, you know, uh, shout out to
- 12:03Speaker 1: my destit who created it and everything. But you know,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm touring as well. You know, I do my tours.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I got stand up tour that I do on my
- 12:12Speaker 1: own as well as I toured with Martin the Dates
- 12:16Speaker 1: with Conan. So my stand up career is like everywhere.
- 12:20Speaker 1: You can see my dates at dion d O n
- 12:22Speaker 1: C O L e uh dot com, or you can
- 12:25Speaker 1: go to Instagram and see where I'm gonna be at,
- 12:28Speaker 1: where I'm be playing at at d O n C
- 12:31Speaker 1: O L e uh. So, yeah, I like on top
- 12:34Speaker 1: of you know, my TV shows as well as you
- 12:37Speaker 1: know my stand up. It keeps me busy, you know,
- 12:40Speaker 1: definitely keeps me busy. You see a lot of a
- 12:42Speaker 1: lot of people not hearing this in this in this conversation,
- 12:45Speaker 1: he is funny to everybody exactly what I'm talking about,
- 12:49Speaker 1: you know, because I was fortunate in my career. Did
- 12:52Speaker 1: I remember when I started out, there was no there
- 12:54Speaker 1: was no Death Comedy Jam and so so I was
- 12:57Speaker 1: just performing to all white audiences. And I even know
- 13:00Speaker 1: when Death Comedy GM came out, they questioned whether I
- 13:03Speaker 1: can make black audiences laugh? And Bob something, I had
- 13:07Speaker 1: to go out to Oakland Comedy UH Black Comedy UH Festival,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and I so everybody I could make black people laugh.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And so when he says Conan and then he says Martin,
- 13:18Speaker 1: do those two extremes right there? Conan and Martin? Okay,
- 13:22Speaker 1: cerebral and you better be funny okay, cerebral and you're
- 13:27Speaker 1: better be funny okay. So that is something special, man.
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's that's why I commend you in your career, because
- 13:34Speaker 1: I can't let people. I can't let people as a
- 13:36Speaker 1: stand up myself. I can't let people ignore how talented
- 13:40Speaker 1: and how difficult that is for you being able to
- 13:43Speaker 1: be yourself because you're not changing what you do, You're
- 13:46Speaker 1: just being funny. To talk to us about that, Yeah, well,
- 13:50Speaker 1: you know, I struggled with that, not really struggle with
- 13:54Speaker 1: it in the way that you might think, but coming
- 13:56Speaker 1: up in Chicago, it used to be like where we
- 14:00Speaker 1: had these black rooms, and I would be in these
- 14:03Speaker 1: black rooms, and what we would be uh kind of
- 14:09Speaker 1: like um uh cater to the stuff that we used
- 14:14Speaker 1: to do, like to cater to the people a lot
- 14:18Speaker 1: of comics would do. It really wasn't funny to me,
- 14:21Speaker 1: you know, And I would I would see that, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: I would get caught up in that, trying to cater
- 14:26Speaker 1: to people and and and give them what they want.
- 14:29Speaker 1: And the more of that I did that, no more,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I didn't like what was going on. But then I knew.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I would go up north and there was almost the
- 14:37Speaker 1: same thing. Chicago was pretty pretty, pretty predominantly white, and
- 14:43Speaker 1: I would cater to them in order to make them
- 14:46Speaker 1: kind of laugh too. And I didn't like that neither,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you know, because the South Side is predominantly black. So
- 14:52Speaker 1: so so I had to think of a way of
- 14:56Speaker 1: mixing the two, you know, and and and then and
- 15:00Speaker 1: I just was like, you know what, I forgot, how
- 15:04Speaker 1: original I am? I need to just give them who
- 15:07Speaker 1: I am and could trying to be a comic and
- 15:10Speaker 1: just be who I am. And so that's what I
- 15:13Speaker 1: was a lot of people fail to realize when you're
- 15:16Speaker 1: look in the mirror every morning, you passed the most
- 15:19Speaker 1: unique thing in the world that don't even acknowledge it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And I talked about this in my stand up too,
- 15:24Speaker 1: that you are unique in every way and people tend
- 15:28Speaker 1: to go out and just be like everybody else. But
- 15:31Speaker 1: you gotta look at what's unique and you and then
- 15:34Speaker 1: capitalize on that that success, which is supplied demand, which
- 15:38Speaker 1: is giving them something that they don't have that you
- 15:40Speaker 1: think that they need, which is you, and say, you
- 15:43Speaker 1: have to believe in yourself in order to do that,
- 15:45Speaker 1: you know. And so that's what I had to do.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I had to look and go, well, there's nothing like
- 15:50Speaker 1: this guy. Just give them this guy, and and it's
- 15:54Speaker 1: going to be unique in all races and into the
- 15:58Speaker 1: human race, not just black and white. So I made
- 16:01Speaker 1: it my point. If I wrote a joke, this joke
- 16:05Speaker 1: had to work across the board. It couldn't work over
- 16:08Speaker 1: here or just over here or just over here. And
- 16:11Speaker 1: if I did do that, I would have to have
- 16:14Speaker 1: enough ample or amount of material that would that would
- 16:18Speaker 1: transcend both sides, you know what I mean. I think
- 16:22Speaker 1: that that that they would be that way. I wouldn't
- 16:24Speaker 1: just stick on one side. So therefore that was it was.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It was. It's always been balanced to me, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 1: and even in life, that's what you need to have.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You need to have balance with everything, you know, where
- 16:37Speaker 1: everything even with your TV watch it. You know, you
- 16:40Speaker 1: should be balanced and everything that you watch and everything
- 16:43Speaker 1: that you do. You know, that's the only way it's
- 16:45Speaker 1: gonna really work. So that you know you're on BP
- 16:50Speaker 1: up here on BT which is a predominant black market
- 16:52Speaker 1: that you put on ABC, but we all know it's
- 16:54Speaker 1: a general market station. And as the family as well
- 16:58Speaker 1: as TV is, I don't want to I've been if
- 17:00Speaker 1: I didn't because I have watched this show. Uh, Angie,
- 17:02Speaker 1: try back up. It's a play detective is So so,
- 17:07Speaker 1: how how did you get the casting opportunity on that show? Well,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I had just finished working with Conan and I had
- 17:15Speaker 1: my own show on TBS, show called black Box. The
- 17:19Speaker 1: network remember the time, Yeah, yeah, I have my own show.
- 17:22Speaker 1: The network at the time did not support me in
- 17:25Speaker 1: the way that I thought that they should. The way
- 17:28Speaker 1: my show was. My show was a current show to
- 17:31Speaker 1: deal with current topics, and what they wanted me to
- 17:33Speaker 1: do is they wanted me to have like a show
- 17:36Speaker 1: that just show clips of stuff on the Internet, and
- 17:41Speaker 1: that's that's all it was. And and we were like, no,
- 17:45Speaker 1: we're a current show. We're talking about current topics and
- 17:48Speaker 1: stuff like you know what I mean, like dealing with
- 17:50Speaker 1: stuff that mattered or whatever. But one day they showed
- 17:54Speaker 1: a commercial of a woman chopping watermelons with her breast
- 18:00Speaker 1: for my show, and that was like one of the
- 18:04Speaker 1: things that made me kind of be like what. And
- 18:08Speaker 1: I didn't know that they were going to run that commercial,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and so I just was like, I thought, we've done
- 18:14Speaker 1: with these six things, these these six episodes. I'm gonna
- 18:17Speaker 1: go back and talk to them and see if we
- 18:20Speaker 1: can revamp this. And the way that they wanted it
- 18:22Speaker 1: wasn't the way that I wanted it, and so I
- 18:25Speaker 1: just kind of just chilled. So as I was chilling
- 18:28Speaker 1: from Natt and Conan, Steve Correll shout out to Steve Carrell.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Him and his wife Nancy Carrel had a show coming
- 18:36Speaker 1: on TBS and that they were about to do, and
- 18:39Speaker 1: they wanted me to come audition for an audition for it,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and the part that I auditioned for they didn't want
- 18:46Speaker 1: me to get, and so they didn't have a part
- 18:49Speaker 1: for me. So they literally wrote me into the show
- 18:52Speaker 1: because they want to be a part of it. One
- 18:54Speaker 1: thing about my career, anything I ever auditioned for, I
- 18:59Speaker 1: never got nothing, nothing at all. I don't care anything
- 19:04Speaker 1: that you Blackish Conan Conan hired me just out of
- 19:08Speaker 1: the clear Blue wipeout got off stage. He hired me Blackish.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I was a woman by the name of Tima Goins
- 19:16Speaker 1: told Kenya innovative artist. Yeah, Tama my girl. She told Kenya.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Kenya was looking for a writer. So Kenya, hey, we
- 19:25Speaker 1: should you should try to get Dione Cole and I
- 19:28Speaker 1: went over there to interview with Kenyan to be a writer,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and the person I was supposed to show up to
- 19:35Speaker 1: play the character that I played, Charlie, didn't show up,
- 19:38Speaker 1: so he asked me to play that character. Anything I
- 19:41Speaker 1: ever got I never auditioned for because the things that
- 19:46Speaker 1: people look at when they're like writing stuff and putting
- 19:49Speaker 1: stuff together, they look at a certain type. If you're
- 19:53Speaker 1: a different kind of person, they can't they can't. They
- 19:56Speaker 1: can't think of you and put you in there just
- 20:00Speaker 1: something that they didn't think of. So therefore, why would
- 20:02Speaker 1: they choose you for their product project? You get what
- 20:06Speaker 1: I'm saying, because you don't fit what they thought definitely
- 20:09Speaker 1: your voice, you know the exactly exactly. So so if
- 20:14Speaker 1: if I'm if I'm never gonna be what anybody intends
- 20:17Speaker 1: for me to be, then they're not gonna pick me.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But some people are going to be smart enough to go.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You know what, I've never seen the likes of such
- 20:26Speaker 1: a this person. I'm gonna take a chance on them
- 20:30Speaker 1: because this person is talented, unique and those that have
- 20:33Speaker 1: done that, we have done magic together, which is like
- 20:36Speaker 1: Conan and the Correllic and your Barriss like you can
- 20:40Speaker 1: find them. Yo, I want this. I mean, it's it's
- 20:43Speaker 1: the way people the way people like cast people and
- 20:47Speaker 1: stuff like that. I think they just it's kind of
- 20:49Speaker 1: like shopping in a sense. You might you have a
- 20:53Speaker 1: brown suit and you're looking for some brown shoes. That's
- 20:56Speaker 1: you're in the mall looking for some brown shoes and
- 20:59Speaker 1: you can't find them. But you see these green shoes
- 21:01Speaker 1: that amazing, but they don't go with your brown suit.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But you see them and you're like, wow, you're gonna
- 21:09Speaker 1: go still, you still gonna go get them brown shoes
- 21:11Speaker 1: with the green shoes gonna be on your mind. You
- 21:14Speaker 1: might even come back and get them green shoes and
- 21:16Speaker 1: then get an outfit to go at them green shoes.
- 21:19Speaker 1: That don't mean them green shoes ain't amazing, they just
- 21:22Speaker 1: didn't go with that outfit. And so that's how that's
- 21:26Speaker 1: that's how I always look at how I am when
- 21:28Speaker 1: they come in a bit, come to the business, and
- 21:30Speaker 1: how I've always been like showsen to do things like
- 21:34Speaker 1: And that's how a lot of people should look at it.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Don't ever look at it like you're not worthy enough.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You just didn't go at that outfit. But they're gonna
- 21:41Speaker 1: come back for you if they if they want you,
- 21:43Speaker 1: They're gonna come back for you. And they did that
- 21:45Speaker 1: with me several times. So I've never got nothing out
- 21:49Speaker 1: an audition for nothing. Well, my man, I'm just gonna
- 21:53Speaker 1: I've been seeing you imre your your personality and your style.
- 21:57Speaker 1: It's unique. You're not a root shot thought, you're out
- 22:00Speaker 1: a care or you're not a Steve Harve. You're not
- 22:02Speaker 1: You're not a Nick Canny. Yours Dion Cole, and that's
- 22:04Speaker 1: special and never what makes that. That's what I'm excited
- 22:06Speaker 1: to have had you on my show. Know that I'm
- 22:09Speaker 1: a friend of yours and a fan of yours, and
