- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you go? You gotta turn to turn them out?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water. The water got me? Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: tha uh huh, I show will good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: oh man, God being good to me. Man, I can't
- 2:17Speaker 1: explain it all really, Hey, you know I want I
- 2:20Speaker 1: want to remind everybody or something that I need reminding
- 2:22Speaker 1: of myself all the time. And I'm I'm dealing with
- 2:28Speaker 1: a couple of things now and I had to remind myself,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you know what I have to remember to constantly remind
- 2:35Speaker 1: myself to stay in constant communication with God. Constant communication
- 2:42Speaker 1: with God. You know sometimes you know, I have a
- 2:45Speaker 1: tendency and maybe we do all the people. I don't know,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but I know for me that when it's going okay,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I slack up in sometimes having conversations with him because
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm not coming to him on the daily with something
- 2:59Speaker 1: that's pressing or something, and I find myself slacking up
- 3:02Speaker 1: in the communication. The danger I have learned in that
- 3:07Speaker 1: is this, I think, you know, I mean we've all
- 3:11Speaker 1: heard old people say, you know, you got to stay
- 3:13Speaker 1: prayed up, you know, and you know prayed up means
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you got some store it up. You just
- 3:20Speaker 1: got an abundance of them. Where you don't you're putting
- 3:23Speaker 1: it in. Because what happens is is when you're not
- 3:27Speaker 1: in constant communication with God, when you're not constantly praying,
- 3:31Speaker 1: doing those good times, that allows for the enemy to
- 3:36Speaker 1: slip in and do the little things that can be upsetting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know it, you get
- 3:42Speaker 1: several little things in a role. Now you got an
- 3:46Speaker 1: issue you dealing with. You know, I have to remind
- 3:49Speaker 1: myself when it's going like that, Man, have I really
- 3:52Speaker 1: been praying though? Have I really been in constant communication
- 3:56Speaker 1: with God? Because you know that that helps God against
- 4:00Speaker 1: that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff,
- 4:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man, that when
- 4:07Speaker 1: I get on a more of a smooth plane in life,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I have a tendency to slack up in that department,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and that ain't the time to slack up. I'm really
- 4:18Speaker 1: learning that I have to stay in constant communication with
- 4:21Speaker 1: God because it enables me to ward off those little
- 4:26Speaker 1: things coming up that can get in the way. And
- 4:30Speaker 1: so I just wanted to make you aware of that
- 4:32Speaker 1: as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up is
- 4:37Speaker 1: important that you try to stop prayers, you know, you
- 4:39Speaker 1: try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 4:43Speaker 1: so to speak, and just constant communication with Him because
- 4:46Speaker 1: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 4:49Speaker 1: doing you. You know, I just wanted to make sure
- 4:51Speaker 1: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 4:55Speaker 1: many obstacles. I've said this a hundred times on the
- 4:58Speaker 1: show The Road to succes Sessus always under construction. I
- 5:02Speaker 1: say that all the time, and it's to let you
- 5:05Speaker 1: understand that it's not going to be easy, but we
- 5:09Speaker 1: can make it more difficult than it has to be.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You know, when you go out strike out on the journey.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You know, Uh, let's say I got in my car.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Let's say I'm in New York and I get in
- 5:22Speaker 1: my car and I say I'm going to LA. I know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: if I drive west and continue to drive west, eventually
- 5:33Speaker 1: I should get to California, or I may wind up
- 5:37Speaker 1: in Portland or Seattle or something like that. But if
- 5:40Speaker 1: I drive west, I'm gonna eventually get to the West Coast.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Now wouldn't it be smarter though? If I mapped out
- 5:53Speaker 1: the route, which saved me a bunch of driving, I
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't need and figuring that I don't have to calculate
- 6:02Speaker 1: when you know the way to go. You know, if
- 6:06Speaker 1: you know you want to cut cross on the twenty,
- 6:11Speaker 1: or you want to cut cross on the seventy, or
- 6:14Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the ten, you know
- 6:18Speaker 1: you got to devise a route. Now, if I want
- 6:21Speaker 1: to go visit some people I know, then I know
- 6:23Speaker 1: I got to I need to go down. You know,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I might go through on how I'll come down on
- 6:27Speaker 1: the eighty, then get on seventy one and take that
- 6:30Speaker 1: all the way down to the Tin and then ride across.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Or I might take it to the twenty cut through
- 6:35Speaker 1: Texas and then and then let it link back up
- 6:38Speaker 1: on the Tin. I know a lot of different ways,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but guess what the best way is to map it out.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can go anywhere, but if you go with a map,
- 6:49Speaker 1: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's what prayer has taught me that when I wouldentify,
- 6:57Speaker 1: continuously pray that I stay in I stay in a
- 7:01Speaker 1: prepared mode, I have more idea of where I'm going,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm more secure with my route. If you just take
- 7:08Speaker 1: off driving heading west, yeah, you'll eventually get to the
- 7:12Speaker 1: west coast if you out east. But guess what though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: had you mapped it out, you can see when you're
- 7:18Speaker 1: veering off, you may stop, come out and not be
- 7:21Speaker 1: paying attention. Next thing you know, you're on a route
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you go on another where you're going north when
- 7:26Speaker 1: you could easily still be going west. You've got to
- 7:28Speaker 1: constantly be aware of that. And I'm just pointing that
- 7:30Speaker 1: out to you because I know that on your journey
- 7:33Speaker 1: a lot of times you get sidetracked. And part of
- 7:36Speaker 1: the ways we get sidetracked is we lose out on
- 7:40Speaker 1: that very the very beneficial resource of prayer. We lose
- 7:44Speaker 1: out we die. Connection with God get strained. The thicker
- 7:49Speaker 1: you can keep the cord connected to God. If you
- 7:54Speaker 1: thin out your communication with God, and instead of having
- 7:57Speaker 1: a big, thick cable, now you're dealing with a little thread.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You know, a cable is stronger than thread, and so
- 8:05Speaker 1: it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know, I
- 8:10Speaker 1: wanted to just make you aware of that, and you know,
- 8:13Speaker 1: to ever be encouraging to say to everybody out there
- 8:16Speaker 1: and just keep your head up. It is going to
- 8:18Speaker 1: be dark days for you. There are going to be
- 8:21Speaker 1: situations where it's going to be daunting and hard to face.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But man on, man on man, everybody has to face
- 8:28Speaker 1: these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes. You know, look, if
- 8:33Speaker 1: you didn't lose, if you didn't lose, you wouldn't even
- 8:38Speaker 1: appreciate winning because if it all went your way all
- 8:42Speaker 1: the time. Do you know how complacent and content and
- 8:47Speaker 1: how easy life would be if it just went your
- 8:50Speaker 1: way all the time. So when it kept going your way,
- 8:53Speaker 1: you wouldn't even appreciate it because guess what, it's been
- 8:56Speaker 1: going this way the whole time. So what life does
- 8:59Speaker 1: is is has its checks and balances. These hard times
- 9:03Speaker 1: are coming, and you need the hard times to appreciate
- 9:06Speaker 1: the good times. You need the clouds and you need
- 9:10Speaker 1: the rain to appreciate the sun and the flowers. It's
- 9:15Speaker 1: just when it comes to prayer, though, just stay prayed up,
- 9:20Speaker 1: stay constant with it, because the challenges of life are coming,
- 9:24Speaker 1: whether you prayed up or not, they're coming. Understand that
- 9:29Speaker 1: you could pray every day all day. When you get
- 9:31Speaker 1: through praying every day all day, something gonna happen to you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's gonna be challenging. Now. I would rather have been
- 9:38Speaker 1: in communication with God on a regular than wait till
- 9:42Speaker 1: every time something pop off to have to go to
- 9:44Speaker 1: and reintroduce myself. Okay, it was over at little around
- 9:49Speaker 1: the board with it today, but that's how it came
- 9:52Speaker 1: to me, So that is I ain't mad at it.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Y'all have great day. We're gonna have a good one day.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go all right, here we go, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's the morning Show. It's the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:06Speaker 1: We are all here accounting for in present. I would
- 10:09Speaker 1: like to say good morning. If you're not having a
- 10:11Speaker 1: good morning, didn't get to having a good morning, because
- 10:14Speaker 1: that could be no morning at all. How about that.
- 10:16Speaker 1: That's the option, good morning or no morning at all.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with you. Good morning. However, it's going.
- 10:22Speaker 1: It's better than no morning at all. Let the church say,
- 10:26Speaker 1: man a man man again. All right, So what's happening crew,
- 10:33Speaker 1: how y'all feeling to day? Oh? Good, like you said,
- 10:36Speaker 1: get to having a good morning out the gate. Let's go.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I love fall beautiful. It's a little foolish in La
- 10:45Speaker 1: right now. A little foolish, but not really. What is
- 10:48Speaker 1: it like there? Yeah, it's it's pretty. It's it's a
- 10:56Speaker 1: little cool right now. It gets a little bit better today,
- 11:00Speaker 1: like just up to seventy. But in La that's like
- 11:04Speaker 1: cool weather. Steve, how does the dentists go? I don't
- 11:09Speaker 1: like the tennis show. I don't care for this man
- 11:12Speaker 1: at all. He's a very nice guy, but you know,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm never glad to see him. I always have this.
- 11:21Speaker 1: You should come more often? What I ain't you know?
- 11:23Speaker 1: When you could talk my dad? Shouldn't you know? You know?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Why would I come somewhere that I don't enjoy and
- 11:30Speaker 1: come more often to not enjoy? He'll make no damn,
- 11:33Speaker 1: says to me. Quit asking me, because you have to
- 11:35Speaker 1: take care of your teeth. I'm taking care of them.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Just do what you gotta do. When you see him,
- 11:39Speaker 1: you see something wrong. Just go ahead, told me the
- 11:42Speaker 1: other day, taking wonderful care of your teeth. You have
- 11:45Speaker 1: tartar on the one back too. I don't like taking
- 11:47Speaker 1: my toothbrush back there, yag. Now I come in here
- 11:53Speaker 1: for you to prop my mouth open with them things,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and you go back there and you get it. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: think my toothbrush back there and our gag, we stops this.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You got to earn his money on. Yeah, what you
- 12:08Speaker 1: want me to do? I can do all that while
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm coming in here, as soon as I figure out
- 12:13Speaker 1: how not the gag you lost me farting. He ever
- 12:16Speaker 1: said stop your whining to you? Has he ever said that? No,
- 12:20Speaker 1: because my wine, I cuss a lot. Shit. My wife
- 12:24Speaker 1: came there and tapped me on that. She said, Steve
- 12:26Speaker 1: taking me hear you out here, okay, and don't take
- 12:30Speaker 1: all that. But you know I was heavily. I was
- 12:33Speaker 1: heavily that Monday appointment with grow up. I was heavily medicated. So, oh,
- 12:40Speaker 1: no field at all when you woke up. I mean,
- 12:47Speaker 1: you know, you know you nip. You can't feel your nip.
- 12:49Speaker 1: They give you water to run all down your shirt.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You feel like a food. You know a little napkin,
- 12:58Speaker 1: the little napkin around your neck, my napkin drenched. Plus
- 13:06Speaker 1: when you have big lips and they know what you
- 13:11Speaker 1: just feel like, man, they feel like the God. Oh
- 13:17Speaker 1: he told me, mister Harvey, we cannot give you any more. No, okay,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you gotta give me something. Get about jim all this
- 13:27Speaker 1: whole thing. Oh Pardoner, what else you got back there?
- 13:30Speaker 1: We get something out that draw a right year? Coming up?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, asked
- 13:39Speaker 1: the CLO Chief Love Officers Steve Harvey in the building.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show time now for
- 13:47Speaker 1: ask the CLO. This one is from Karna in Ohio,
- 13:53Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer. They're writing to you. Karna says, I've
- 13:57Speaker 1: been casually dating a guy for three months and we
- 14:00Speaker 1: went to dinner last night and his daughter joined us.
- 14:03Speaker 1: She's fifteen and she's usually got a very bad attitude.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I was very embarrassed by her lack of manners for
- 14:09Speaker 1: our waitress, and her father didn't say a word. I
- 14:12Speaker 1: asked her to please be respectful of others, and she
- 14:15Speaker 1: looked at me and told me to watch my mouth.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Her father laughed at first and then told her to
- 14:20Speaker 1: watch her mouth. This was all he said. I left
- 14:23Speaker 1: and I stopped talking to him. He's saying, I overreacted,
- 14:26Speaker 1: did I? No, you didn't. No, you didn't. You didn't overreact.
- 14:32Speaker 1: He underreacted. And it's because of his the way he's
- 14:38Speaker 1: dealing with stuff. You have the result of this, this
- 14:41Speaker 1: fifteen year old mannish ill mannered no manner having child.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And that's so you have to make a decision. And
- 14:51Speaker 1: so do you want to get involved in this because
- 14:53Speaker 1: don't look like you, Finn the turn her you watch
- 14:55Speaker 1: your mouth. I'm gonna tell you fifteen years old, little girl, fifteen, Hey,
- 15:02Speaker 1: come on, come on, let's go together. Yeah, thought he
- 15:09Speaker 1: really did, which is all right, Yeah, because you know
- 15:13Speaker 1: we're moving on. Ain't nobody potty? Yeah? All right, there
- 15:24Speaker 1: we go. Lydia and Boston says, I'm dating a man
- 15:29Speaker 1: that's way too comfortable in his own skin. He loves
- 15:32Speaker 1: to walk around the house naked, or he'll be in
- 15:34Speaker 1: his boxers if company comes over. In the beginning, he
- 15:37Speaker 1: used to shave and wear clothes around me. It's one
- 15:40Speaker 1: thing to see his belly in the bedroom, but I
- 15:42Speaker 1: don't want to have breakfast with it or have it
- 15:44Speaker 1: staring at me from the couch. I don't feel comfortable
- 15:48Speaker 1: sitting on his furniture anymore because it grosses me out
- 15:50Speaker 1: to think his bare butt was on it. How can
- 15:53Speaker 1: I get him to change his bare naked way, put
- 15:57Speaker 1: some clothes on and walk around like you diesel coming
- 16:00Speaker 1: over here? Look, ladies, please take note of your power.
- 16:04Speaker 1: You can get him to change this. All you have
- 16:08Speaker 1: to do is make that a requirement. If you want
- 16:13Speaker 1: me to keep coming over here, you gotta quit walking
- 16:15Speaker 1: around here neck, show some respect, and then company over
- 16:20Speaker 1: you just in your damn draw. And obviously he ain't
- 16:23Speaker 1: that fine. He ain't that fine, but he think he is.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Aren't we familiar with that? Tommy, hey man, I've ben't
- 16:33Speaker 1: told y'all. Let me let me dill it back. Sign.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Let me let me just die back, because I'm not
- 16:42Speaker 1: gonna you know, it's just what is it? No, It's
- 16:47Speaker 1: just I'm not Julia stevens ugly okay, And they want
- 16:52Speaker 1: everybody to be ugly, we man, And I'm just not
- 16:54Speaker 1: gonna join the bandwagon, So move on. I wasn't saying that.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I was just as quick are you for me? With that?
- 17:01Speaker 1: But you ticket personal because if you throw a rock
- 17:05Speaker 1: in a pack of dogs, Holler is the one you hit?
- 17:10Speaker 1: I didn't even go that way. Why don't I always
- 17:12Speaker 1: talking about these we always talking about these dogs. Who?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Who's throwing rocks at these dogs? Why are they doing? Who?
- 17:20Speaker 1: There are three ugly people on this show. I'm one
- 17:23Speaker 1: of them, three non attractive people. I'm not. I would
- 17:27Speaker 1: be very careful with that statement. Tom So you Ja
- 17:30Speaker 1: and Julian because it's not me. Excuse me for whoa?
- 17:39Speaker 1: My bad whoa? I was just looking at the zoom.
- 17:42Speaker 1: We own you on this zoom, don't you. Everybody got
- 17:52Speaker 1: no problems with anybody? Probably got no bottle Mississippi, ma
- 17:55Speaker 1: ain't nobody got no problem with? Sure the problem? Look
- 17:58Speaker 1: at you? Do you know what? I think we should
- 18:06Speaker 1: take a survey? I really did? We should have people? Yes?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Moving on in um Sly and Terrell, Texas says, my
- 18:17Speaker 1: wife's family is a bunch of drunks, and I'm sick
- 18:19Speaker 1: of them drinking up my liquor and beer every weekend.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So I started putting out cheap liquor and hiding my
- 18:24Speaker 1: good stuff. My wife told me that it's lowdown to
- 18:27Speaker 1: do that, and she went and pulled out my good
- 18:29Speaker 1: liquor while they watched the games this weekend. She even
- 18:32Speaker 1: joked with them about me hiding the liquor. I went
- 18:34Speaker 1: off on her later on and she laughed in my face.
- 18:38Speaker 1: She told me to calm down. It's not that serious.
- 18:41Speaker 1: How do I get my wife to respect my rules?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Interesting into a rule? Um up? The crown the dog?
- 18:59Speaker 1: I mean, oh wait, let me ask you a question.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know the difference between good looking cheap looking?
- 19:06Speaker 1: What's what is? What do he have? Do I want
- 19:09Speaker 1: nobody to drink? Yeah, what you got at your spot
- 19:13Speaker 1: is completely different from what he got it. Okay, that's why.
- 19:20Speaker 1: But still just compare it to that. Okay, like okay,
- 19:24Speaker 1: like give me an example brand of Scotch. Your your
- 19:28Speaker 1: your most favorite brand of scott Okay, Uh, Glenn Levitt McCallum, McCallany,
- 19:35Speaker 1: ain't gonna McCallum. It was just casually drinking it all up.
- 19:42Speaker 1: They drunk his crown? What it is? And what so now?
- 19:47Speaker 1: And and so he want to put out what if
- 19:49Speaker 1: they drank his crown? He wanted them to drink what
- 19:53Speaker 1: rand Christian brotherness? That's about right about Canadian Wizzard down.
- 20:05Speaker 1: What get a point of that? For three dollars? They
- 20:10Speaker 1: called it a film? Oh yeah, yeah, I understand, Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I understand. How do you get them to respect rule? Well,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I think his wife has to be considerate of the fact,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you know that that's what you buy for yourself, and
- 20:32Speaker 1: she has to respect that. You know. I think my
- 20:35Speaker 1: wife would respect that, you know, if that were she
- 20:38Speaker 1: got to stop all that laughing and just go, hey,
- 20:41Speaker 1: hold on, wait a minute, no money, yeah, you know,
- 20:45Speaker 1: come to hell all let's have by a't bring yo, Bob,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I don't get it. Then if it right, you coming

- 24:15Speaker 1: food for the kids? I know because I have three children.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to feed these three over here. And no,
- 24:21Speaker 1: I don't have enough food to feed two more children.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Now you're calling me and who gave you my information? Man?
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you another time. How many bedrooms
- 24:29Speaker 1: do you have in your apartment unit so we can
- 24:31Speaker 1: make sure that the kids are accommodated? Problems? No, don't
- 24:35Speaker 1: bring any kids to my house. I don't, I don't care.
- 24:37Speaker 1: No what color they are? And what you need? Who
- 24:40Speaker 1: submitted my information to you? Okay? Man, let me ask
- 24:44Speaker 1: you something. How long have you how long have you

- 25:16Speaker 1: to him. You dropping, Mamma that it's gonna be right
- 25:18Speaker 1: when you dropped them offa when you come back to

- 25:24Speaker 1: that has submitted your name that you don't mind volunteering
- 25:27Speaker 1: to take now? Now you can take them to the
- 25:29Speaker 1: who submitted my name? Take them to that. I don't
- 25:32Speaker 1: need them, Okay, mam. I worked ten hours a day.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Take them to whoever submit. How about you take them, ma'am.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I'm I work for the agency, ma'am. I'm here to
- 25:41Speaker 1: try and get these kids a great place to get educated.
- 25:45Speaker 1: And that's okay. I'm not even say nobody, no, no,
- 25:50Speaker 1: thank you? And you had a care ever told you?
- 25:52Speaker 1: Just take them to take them to that. Have three
- 25:55Speaker 1: children on my own, I'm taking care of hard. We'll
- 25:58Speaker 1: tell you that I don't know exactly who submitted your name.
- 26:03Speaker 1: All I know is that that they said that you
- 26:04Speaker 1: would be good as far as taking care of your
- 26:06Speaker 1: children and teaching them about Black history kids to them.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I told you that, man, I don't you know, Like
- 26:12Speaker 1: I said, I'm working here adoptions and I'm yeah, I
- 26:16Speaker 1: don't who you work for. And I had three kids
- 26:20Speaker 1: tomorrow and I worked ten hours a day. I'm teaching
- 26:23Speaker 1: about Black History month? Okay, I mean, is it is? It?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Is it a problem teaching two more children, and two
- 26:29Speaker 1: Caucasian children who probably don't know as much about Black history?
- 26:32Speaker 1: It is a problem. I worked ten hours a day,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I got three. I'm trying to feed on my own.
- 26:38Speaker 1: What are you work? You need take them children to
- 26:41Speaker 1: Who told you to bring them to me? How about that? Man?
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not alluberinted to give out the
- 26:47Speaker 1: names on who exactly submitted your name. I want the
- 26:50Speaker 1: name of the black who followed you to bring some
- 26:53Speaker 1: kids to my I nave me Chad as a kid's wife.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I want the name of them. I told you then,
- 27:00Speaker 1: that's what I'm on im. I don't have their names
- 27:03Speaker 1: in front of me. I don't I told you to
- 27:06Speaker 1: bring these two kids to my Like I said, I
- 27:08Speaker 1: don't know who told me that? All I knew is
- 27:10Speaker 1: we're scheduled to drop them off at ten o'clock tomorrow morning.
- 27:13Speaker 1: What kind of they from? Then? I thought, when you
- 27:16Speaker 1: come back together them, I didn't sign up for any
- 27:19Speaker 1: more kids. Give me the name of the person who
- 27:22Speaker 1: told you to bring me from said, I don't have
- 27:24Speaker 1: the name in front of me, and actually I'm not
- 27:27Speaker 1: at liberty to let you know who submitted your name.
- 27:29Speaker 1: All I know who were scheduled to drive two kids
- 27:31Speaker 1: off at ten o'clock tomorrow? Did you not hear what
- 27:34Speaker 1: the I've been asking you? How sign me up to
- 27:37Speaker 1: bring two white kids. I don't even have a problem
- 27:40Speaker 1: with the kids being right, they could be Mexican agents.
- 27:43Speaker 1: That's not the point. Who gave you? I don't know
- 27:46Speaker 1: who submitted your name. I don't know that. Oh no,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you about to know who gave you my information, because
- 27:51Speaker 1: they don't know might have done in the mouth. All
- 27:53Speaker 1: I know is, ma'am, I'm scheduled to bring those kids
- 27:56Speaker 1: over there at ten o'clock in the morning. Okay, Oh
- 27:58Speaker 1: that's told them. Call you sorry. Don't bring no kids
- 28:02Speaker 1: from my eyes. I don't even care if they wife,
- 28:04Speaker 1: just don't bring two more kids from my mouth. Carrie,
- 28:08Speaker 1: Carrie you. I will see you in the morning, Miss Valerie, Okay,
- 28:13Speaker 1: you're in the Lord. I have one more thing I
- 28:15Speaker 1: need to tell you about tomorrow. You're listening. You are
- 28:19Speaker 1: you listening? Yes, I'm listening. You're like to say to
- 28:23Speaker 1: me right now. This is nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 28:27Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by your co
- 28:30Speaker 1: worker name. I think three kids and one of them
- 28:42Speaker 1: dad ain't Oh gosh, how about you. I'm all right,
- 28:53Speaker 1: all right, Valerie. I got one more thing to ask you.
- 28:55Speaker 1: What is what is the baddest And I'm talking about
- 28:58Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, the team every
- 29:02Speaker 1: morning stuff? Now, it is stupid, stupid, that's me. That's me,
- 29:08Speaker 1: right then, get it all day, every day. Just a
- 29:11Speaker 1: nice little teaspoon stupid for you. That's all I want
- 29:13Speaker 1: to do. Give it to your nice and clean Okay.
- 29:16Speaker 1: We can drop your whykis all over there tomorrow morning
- 29:19Speaker 1: at ten, I'm telling you, okay, but she didn't care
- 29:24Speaker 1: about the race. It was the quantity. I got three,
- 29:29Speaker 1: I got three and one of them Daddy ain't blank. Okay,
- 29:32Speaker 1: I'm going through a lot over here right now. Okay,
- 29:37Speaker 1: Big ups all the single mama's out there, a single mothers.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Big ups to your baby. Y'all be doing it big mama,
- 29:45Speaker 1: and your dad and your uncle, you everybody, all right, nephew,
- 29:49Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next Entertainment and National news right
- 29:51Speaker 1: after this. You're listening. According to CNN, roughly forty eight
- 30:00Speaker 1: hours after the death of General Colin Powell, Trump proved
- 30:05Speaker 1: again that he truly doesn't have any empathy, grace, or
- 30:08Speaker 1: common decency, any common decency. Here is Trump's disrespectful, classless statement.
- 30:13Speaker 1: He said, wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big
- 30:17Speaker 1: mistakes on Iraq and famously so called weapons of mass destruction,
- 30:21Speaker 1: be treated in death so beautifully by the fake news media.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Hope that happens to me someday. Oh we will. How
- 30:31Speaker 1: about tamaraw He was a classic rhino, if even that,
- 30:37Speaker 1: always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made
- 30:40Speaker 1: plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That was his complete statement. Oh that's how I mean,
- 30:48Speaker 1: that's the bottom. See, yeah, I mean, I'm not surprised
- 30:52Speaker 1: at all. Shocking part of this is that over seventy
- 30:59Speaker 1: meal your Americans want this as their president. Will accept
- 31:07Speaker 1: this as their leader, and ain't got no problem with
- 31:11Speaker 1: him being how he is. Over seventy million voters voted
- 31:17Speaker 1: for this, voted for the comment about the women on
- 31:21Speaker 1: the bus with Billy Bush that time. They ain't got
- 31:24Speaker 1: no problem with banning Muslim travel, ain't got no problem
- 31:28Speaker 1: with the war, and the problem with denying the doctor,
- 31:31Speaker 1: and just over and over constant statements of glaring racism.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Ain't got no problem with nothing he does. Man, Now,
- 31:44Speaker 1: this is the sickness that we have. Now, seventy eight
- 31:48Speaker 1: million people voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. That's
- 31:53Speaker 1: a total of one hundred and forty eight million people
- 31:56Speaker 1: who voted. Round about that number, there's only three hundred
- 32:00Speaker 1: and fifty four million Americans on earth, so which means
- 32:07Speaker 1: half a little less than half were able to vote.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Because some people are not of voting age, but they're
- 32:14Speaker 1: still counted in the three hundred and fifty four million.
- 32:17Speaker 1: And then you got some people who are old and
- 32:20Speaker 1: don't voting. You got some people who are of voting
- 32:22Speaker 1: age and they ignorant ask don't vote. So when you
- 32:26Speaker 1: look at that number, that's an alarming number of people.
- 32:29Speaker 1: And for him, to say something like this, having been
- 32:34Speaker 1: president and talking about being the twenty twenty four candidate,
- 32:40Speaker 1: and this is this is a statement. That's a statement
- 32:44Speaker 1: you and in history. He said it out loud, and
- 32:52Speaker 1: you know, some kind of bringing up another subject. All
- 32:55Speaker 1: these people who are disregarding all of these are subpoenas
- 33:01Speaker 1: to come in and talk about the January sixth upros
- 33:08Speaker 1: How to how can you do that? If you get
- 33:11Speaker 1: a subpoena and you don't come to court, they come
- 33:15Speaker 1: and get you and bring you the court. How are
- 33:19Speaker 1: these people allowed to just constantly ignore these subpoenas. Some
- 33:27Speaker 1: of them are invoking privilege, certain you know, privilege. He's
- 33:32Speaker 1: not the president anymore. And that's what they're saying too,
- 33:37Speaker 1: because now they're saying that he's invoking privileges. He said,
- 33:41Speaker 1: But that's just what all the lawyers are saying. That's
- 33:43Speaker 1: a waste of time because you're no longer right. All right, well,
- 33:52Speaker 1: what a horrible thing to say. All right, Steve, let's
- 33:54Speaker 1: move on. It is time now for headlines, ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:57Speaker 1: miss saying trip, thank you very much, everybody. Here we
- 34:00Speaker 1: go in Washington, the House Select Committee investigating the January
- 34:04Speaker 1: sixth Capitol Hill Insurrection, since you guys are just talking
- 34:07Speaker 1: about that. They voted unanimously to whole former White House
- 34:10Speaker 1: Advisor Scott Bannon in contempt of Congress for refusing to
- 34:14Speaker 1: cooperate with the subpoena and provide testimony and documents demanded
- 34:18Speaker 1: by the legislators, and both Committee Chair Benny Thompson and
- 34:21Speaker 1: Republican Vice Chair Liz Cheney say, everybody knows what's going
- 34:25Speaker 1: on here. We believe mister Bannon as information relevant to
- 34:28Speaker 1: our prode and we'll use the twos at our disposal
- 34:32Speaker 1: to get that informations. Almost every one of my colleagues
- 34:36Speaker 1: knows in your hearts that what happened on January sixth
- 34:40Speaker 1: was profoundly wrong. Nevertheless, most Republicans continue to follow Donald
- 34:45Speaker 1: Trump's lead and oppose the committee's prode. The admitted Parkland,
- 34:49Speaker 1: Florida High school killer Nicholas Cruz went before a judge,
- 34:54Speaker 1: Elizabeth Cherer yesterday. The judge then laid out his options
- 34:59Speaker 1: after he took plea took a plea deal basically instead
- 35:02Speaker 1: of going to court. That's Nicholas Cruse. Prosecutors say that
- 35:05Speaker 1: crews shot and kill seventeen students and staff members at
- 35:08Speaker 1: Marjorie Stoneman High School on Valentine's Day in twenty eighteen.
- 35:13Speaker 1: And this is the judge. The best case scenario for
- 35:15Speaker 1: you is a term of the rest of your life
- 35:17Speaker 1: in Florida State Prison. Do you understand and do you
- 35:20Speaker 1: understand the maximum penalty is death? Yes? Man. Well, now,
- 35:24Speaker 1: the twenty three year old Crews had been expelled from
- 35:26Speaker 1: that school a year earlier before the massacre. But authorities
- 35:30Speaker 1: say this guy had a history of violent behavior dating
- 35:32Speaker 1: back to preschool. His plea comes with no promise of leniency.
- 35:37Speaker 1: So the state's going to reportedly pursue the death penalty
- 35:39Speaker 1: against Nicholas Crews during the sentencing phase of this case. Okay,
- 35:43Speaker 1: get this football fans, check this out. The NFL is
- 35:46Speaker 1: going to propose changes, they say, to their billion dollar
- 35:49Speaker 1: concussion settlement process in the wake of the human cry
- 35:52Speaker 1: over a racist practice that treated black players who were
- 35:55Speaker 1: retired differently than white ones. Officials that the NFL say
- 35:58Speaker 1: they're ready to change their cog native test to determine
- 36:01Speaker 1: whether former players are eligible for settlements due to head
- 36:04Speaker 1: trauma suffered while playing. Apparently, the league's been using a
- 36:08Speaker 1: test called race norming, which assumed that black players started
- 36:12Speaker 1: out with lower cognitive function. Get that from, which then
- 36:15Speaker 1: made it more difficult for retired black players to show
- 36:18Speaker 1: they'd suffered from mental damage as a result of their
- 36:21Speaker 1: time in the league. A federal judge is going to
- 36:23Speaker 1: review the newly developed procedure. Can you get that? Okay?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Today's finally be grateful to be malf Gotta be thankful
- 36:36Speaker 1: every day you wake up on this side of gazers.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:41Speaker 1: to the stow All right, So we've been hearing about
- 36:45Speaker 1: doctor Dre's divorce for you know, several months now, quite
- 36:48Speaker 1: a while. It's been messy. We do know that extremely contentious. Well,
- 36:54Speaker 1: something happened Monday that punctuates that bitterness. A process server
- 36:58Speaker 1: for his ex wife attempted to serve him with legal
- 37:01Speaker 1: documents at the cemetery where he buried his grandmother. Now
- 37:06Speaker 1: this is according to TMZ. There's a dispute over where
- 37:09Speaker 1: exactly Drey was confronted by the process server. Sources connected
- 37:14Speaker 1: to TMZ say a process server came up to him
- 37:18Speaker 1: at the burial site as Drey was standing by his
- 37:20Speaker 1: grandma's casket and tried serving him. What that's horrible. Sources
- 37:28Speaker 1: connected to his ex wife say um that Drey was
- 37:31Speaker 1: served in the cemetery's parking lot after the burial. Cemetery.
- 37:36Speaker 1: The point is, does it matter it was still at
- 37:39Speaker 1: the beer I mean, forget the casket on that day,
- 37:42Speaker 1: right at the time, at the burial exactly, don't have
- 37:45Speaker 1: a Yeah, okay, okay, I promise you, if I'm grieving
- 37:51Speaker 1: and you come up to me, I ain't. I ain't
- 37:53Speaker 1: who you think? This ain't thing to be fairly few.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, man, if I'm grieving, you
- 37:58Speaker 1: can't come to me. You can't serve me somebody I
- 38:00Speaker 1: love at the funeral. You can't serve me at the
- 38:03Speaker 1: parking lot, not next to the casket. Surely that's not
- 38:08Speaker 1: what the ex wife wanted to be served on that day. Well,
- 38:13Speaker 1: well they got to get the information. They how do
- 38:16Speaker 1: they know about the funeral? Yeah? A lot where you
- 38:20Speaker 1: get that from? That's pretty low, man, That's pretty yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 1: it really is. That is that's bad? Yeah, I mean,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and next to the casket or on the parking lot.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I just don't see what difference it makes. But you
- 38:34Speaker 1: can't it goes back to the junior that day. Yeah,
- 38:37Speaker 1: they're gonna need another casket. That's that's what. But I'm
- 38:42Speaker 1: gonna tell you something right now, the SERVI the serve
- 38:44Speaker 1: got a real problem with me. Yeah, the casket may
- 38:47Speaker 1: be for him and you a warrant or notice up
- 38:54Speaker 1: to the front. They can't. And my cousins that had
- 38:56Speaker 1: all got records. You're not man, You're gonna beat it.
- 39:01Speaker 1: You're gonna be in the next plot. Yeah. Well, okay,
- 39:04Speaker 1: why were these papers more so important that they had
- 39:07Speaker 1: to be served on that day at the funeral? You asked,
- 39:09Speaker 1: That makes no sense. Well, they involved They involved payment
- 39:13Speaker 1: of Nicole's attorneys fees. Now do you know that could
- 39:16Speaker 1: have waited her? That could have waited but next day, Yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 1: that could come on. So now do you just refuse
- 39:27Speaker 1: to make the payment on time? Now, well, I'm fitting
- 39:30Speaker 1: to play with him now yeah, yeah, because there was
- 39:33Speaker 1: a dispute or how much he was supposed to pay, Well,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I may have, I may have to pay you, but
- 39:37Speaker 1: we fit it all. See, here's a deal. You can't
- 39:43Speaker 1: go to jail for not paying a bill. Now you
- 39:46Speaker 1: can go to jail for disobeying a court order. I'm
- 39:49Speaker 1: pretty sure you can't. But you can't go to jail.
- 39:52Speaker 1: The only bill you can go to jail for for
- 39:53Speaker 1: not paying this the ass. Your ass is gone. Yeah right,
- 40:00Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of who you want to
- 40:03Speaker 1: play with coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Show Wow, Charles Barkley
- 40:13Speaker 1: is speaking out. He had a lot to say and
- 40:16Speaker 1: this to say about Kyrie irving his vaccination issue. Take
- 40:20Speaker 1: a listen to Chuck. First of all, you don't get
- 40:23Speaker 1: the vaccine for yourself. You get it for other people.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm not saying, hold on, I want you said your piece.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I'm saying I don't say I got vaccinated. I can't
- 40:31Speaker 1: wait to get the booster. I don't. You don't get
- 40:33Speaker 1: vaccinated just for yourself, like Adam said, you get vaccinated
- 40:38Speaker 1: for your family first, you get vaccinated for your teammates second.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Things like that. That's what bothered me about this whole thing.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I think everybody should get vaccinated. And let me tell
- 40:49Speaker 1: some I really am proud of the Nest for putting
- 40:51Speaker 1: their foot down, for saying no, we're not gonna deal
- 40:54Speaker 1: with this half on half on half all the only
- 40:57Speaker 1: thing that bug mean, he's still gonna make seventeen million
- 40:59Speaker 1: dollars sitting at home. I wish they could find a
- 41:01Speaker 1: way if he wants to go on this thing. But
- 41:03Speaker 1: you know, if people say he's like Ali, first of all,
- 41:05Speaker 1: I don't ever compare anybody to the Ali. I went
- 41:07Speaker 1: three years without boxing, mee the high traine athlete in
- 41:10Speaker 1: the world. This guy gonna make seven seventeen million dollars
- 41:12Speaker 1: for sitting at home. But to every parison out there,
- 41:15Speaker 1: you don't get vaccinated just for yourself. I'm talking to
- 41:22Speaker 1: It's what I wanted because he was on the panel
- 41:25Speaker 1: with Shack and Ernie Kenny. Yeah, I didn't know he
- 41:30Speaker 1: was still making seventeen million at the High I didn't
- 41:33Speaker 1: know that. Wow, that's not the point. He made the point.
- 41:38Speaker 1: You get vaccinated, foot for your family, you get vaccinated,
- 41:42Speaker 1: then for your work mate, the people you work with.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Exactly that. Kyrie and Kanye have gotten on my narratives week.
- 41:55Speaker 1: K I think I can't take no more man. Yeah, Tommy,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I'm not going all that. It's it's they're on your nerves.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Say your name, got to remember where the hell you stay?
- 42:13Speaker 1: All that it's just too much. Man. Now he's walking
- 42:15Speaker 1: around with a rubber mask on his face. Wold that
- 42:19Speaker 1: it's hard. I already don't like these masks we got
- 42:22Speaker 1: to wear. I'm not putting another one on. Okay, and
- 42:25Speaker 1: that one looks so scary too. But do you guys
- 42:30Speaker 1: agree with Yeah? Yeah, I need see everybody. I need
- 42:40Speaker 1: more research. I need this. I need proof that they
- 42:42Speaker 1: don't work. I don't have that right. And I've seen
- 42:48Speaker 1: it firsthand from people very very close to me that
- 42:52Speaker 1: if they had not been vascinated, what could have happened.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I just talked to my Nis about it, and he
- 42:57Speaker 1: was thanking God he had been vaccinated. He had to
- 43:00Speaker 1: quarantine anyway, because he's a doctor, right, but he had
- 43:04Speaker 1: no symptoms. It was he didn't have to go to
- 43:06Speaker 1: the hospital. I've had somebody close to me spent over
- 43:08Speaker 1: two weeks in the hospital and every day said, man,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I swear to God, I wish I got the vaccine. Yah,
- 43:15Speaker 1: every day and seriously was talking about he thought he's
- 43:19Speaker 1: gonna check up out of here. I don't know what
- 43:21Speaker 1: y'all want. I'm telling you the vaccines. I got the vaccine,
- 43:25Speaker 1: so all y'allah. And like we said yesterday, Steve, don't
- 43:29Speaker 1: try to throw General Colin Powell in the mix because
- 43:32Speaker 1: he was fully vaccinated and got COVID and passed away.
- 43:36Speaker 1: General Powell was dealing with cancer, and don't forget he
- 43:39Speaker 1: was eighty four years old as well, you know, with
- 43:42Speaker 1: Parkinson as well. Yeah, sompromise, handsome is nothing but a
- 43:48Speaker 1: battle against your immune system. So y'all try to use
- 43:51Speaker 1: that one example. It's why you shouldn't. I this is
- 43:54Speaker 1: all the wrong one. Okay, come on, I'm taking the
- 43:59Speaker 1: vaccination and I'm using two VS. If you don't get
- 44:04Speaker 1: the vaccination, you can't get the ventilator. Right here, we're
- 44:13Speaker 1: not gonna help you breathe. You don't believe the science.
- 44:17Speaker 1: You don't believe what you need to scientific ventilator. That Yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 1: you know, I've lost four friends, man, four good dudes
- 44:29Speaker 1: to COVID. That that that that that impacted me because
- 44:35Speaker 1: I was I was scared. These dudes. Was not no
- 44:38Speaker 1: bad dudes. These were dudes that I looked up to
- 44:42Speaker 1: and they gone, yeah, I'm getting vaccinated. It really it
- 44:47Speaker 1: touched my life if I'm getting vaccinated. Yeah, yeah, all right, guys,
- 44:52Speaker 1: thank you coming up next. It is enough here with
- 44:55Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. Right after this you're listening show
- 45:01Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 45:03Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The
- 45:07Speaker 1: subject I'm getting played by an old man. We'll get
- 45:11Speaker 1: into that in just a bit, but right now the
- 45:13Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's prying phone call. What you
- 45:16Speaker 1: got for us, naff, Well, surely there's some heavy babies
- 45:20Speaker 1: out there, you know, some heavy babies. Yeah, some babies
- 45:26Speaker 1: pretty hefty, pretty hefty birth be inside. We're right, baby wheat,
- 45:35Speaker 1: that's what Wait, yeah, baby wheat, what you played too
- 45:43Speaker 1: much already from the title. Okay, it's a heavy baby.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Let's go, capt dog take a listen. Hello, Hello, I'm
- 45:55Speaker 1: trying to reach a trainer please, yeah, this is trainer. Know.
- 46:00Speaker 1: My name is Earnest Earnest Murphy down here at the
- 46:02Speaker 1: bus bard with the from the school district. Your son
- 46:06Speaker 1: is Devin, am I right? Yeah? Okay, Now he's in
- 46:11Speaker 1: the sixth grade, I think, yeah, yeah, yeah, everything is
- 46:15Speaker 1: flying now. I think he's on He rides bus ninety,
- 46:19Speaker 1: Bus ninety three. Does he ride PUS ninety three? Uh yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 1: yeah he does. Okay, So now the school board has
- 46:28Speaker 1: implemented a new rule, and um, we're having to call
- 46:33Speaker 1: a lot of parents and let him know about the
- 46:35Speaker 1: new rule for us. As far as the buses are concerned. Now,
- 46:39Speaker 1: from my understanding, each child that gets on the bus
- 46:43Speaker 1: has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five pounds.
- 46:47Speaker 1: That's what the new rule that is implemented by the board.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Say that again, each child that gets on the bus
- 46:59Speaker 1: has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five parents,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I don't understand. I don't understand. So what's okay? So
- 47:08Speaker 1: what does what does that mean? So starting on Monday,
- 47:11Speaker 1: Starting on Monday, what they're gonna do, If they're gonna
- 47:14Speaker 1: the bus driver will have a scale and he will
- 47:17Speaker 1: wait the kids so they get on on the bus.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I understand. Man, the doctor, like I say, I'm calling,
- 47:24Speaker 1: I'm calling every patent that they say, you're gonna you're
- 47:28Speaker 1: gonna waive my child before he gets on the bus.
- 47:31Speaker 1: That's that's what the new rule. That's what the new rule.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Then if he's over one twenty five, then he he'll
- 47:36Speaker 1: either have to walk, you have to take him the school.
- 47:39Speaker 1: But I have a job, Okay, I have a job.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I thought gonna take my kids in school, but I don't.
- 47:45Speaker 1: That's what the bus explores. That's what my tax dollars
- 47:48Speaker 1: paid for us. Right, But the reasoning, the rationale behind this, Okay,
- 47:54Speaker 1: let me tell you what's going on. From what they're saying,
- 47:57Speaker 1: the weight of these children is hearing down these transmissions
- 48:01Speaker 1: on this bus, on these buses, transmission, the transmission cannot
- 48:05Speaker 1: take all of that. So they are limiting the weight
- 48:09Speaker 1: of each child. So now how much does that discrimination?
- 48:14Speaker 1: I think that's discrimination, but it over Is he over
- 48:19Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty five pounds? He okay? He is? Okay?
- 48:25Speaker 1: And you you're probably gonna have to take your son
- 48:27Speaker 1: to school or you gonna have to walk. He probably
- 48:30Speaker 1: needed to walk to school if he already or hundred
- 48:32Speaker 1: twenty five pounds? What as are you talking about? All
- 48:43Speaker 1: I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your son is
- 48:46Speaker 1: overweight one hundred twenty five, you know, maybe the exercise
- 48:50Speaker 1: are doing good. When like I said that, the school
- 48:52Speaker 1: is that gonna allow him on the pus. But sure
- 48:56Speaker 1: I will accept this. Who do I need to call?
- 49:00Speaker 1: Is there a manager? Is in a city's council member?
- 49:03Speaker 1: I mean, this is seriously, the most ub discriminatory practice
- 49:08Speaker 1: I've ever heard of. It doesn't even make sense. You're
- 49:10Speaker 1: talking about a child, I understand, but we're talking about
- 49:13Speaker 1: a child a way more than a grown person. You're
- 49:15Speaker 1: so I need to get what is your name, sir?
- 49:18Speaker 1: Tell me your name again. My name is Ernest. I'm
- 49:22Speaker 1: down here at the bus ball. I would like to
- 49:24Speaker 1: speak with the supervisor, like, now, what do you You
- 49:28Speaker 1: do not get to speak to my about my child
- 49:30Speaker 1: that way? You get to speak to any kid that way.
- 49:32Speaker 1: You should not be working at a school if that
- 49:35Speaker 1: is your attitude. No, I don't work at the school.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I work at the bus ball. I'm down here at
- 49:39Speaker 1: the bus ball and they gave me you they right,
- 49:43Speaker 1: because you're saying he's over behind in twenty five pack.
- 49:45Speaker 1: I am an absolute shock. This is okay? So do
- 49:53Speaker 1: you have a fantic chat? I mean, do you have scuba?
- 49:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, do you have a big chatter? Listen? What
- 49:58Speaker 1: my child looks like, how much he weighed? It is
- 50:01Speaker 1: none of your business. I'm going to call the school.
- 50:04Speaker 1: They can't be working with your company. If this is
- 50:06Speaker 1: the way that you treat people and you talk about children,
- 50:10Speaker 1: it doesn't matter with here. I guess what they're doing
- 50:15Speaker 1: is this is the way of them approaching obesity. You know, whoever,
- 50:22Speaker 1: whoever over one hundred, they might walk it all your start. Listen, listen.
- 50:27Speaker 1: That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Okay,
- 50:32Speaker 1: I have to work. My son is getting on that bus,
- 50:35Speaker 1: and I'm going to call the schoolboard and should not
- 50:37Speaker 1: be working with you. We're another bust company. I don't know,
- 50:40Speaker 1: but I'm calling the city. I will call the members
- 50:43Speaker 1: they need to call, but you need to give me
- 50:44Speaker 1: a supervisor's name right now, right now? Do you think
- 50:48Speaker 1: you need to start cooking different folks? So, Devin, don't
- 50:51Speaker 1: have you know, maybe maybe it's thought us at home
- 50:54Speaker 1: and what you're feeding everybody, you know, I am calling
- 51:00Speaker 1: the supervisor. I'm calling this the city. I'm calling the school.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I'm going to get you so fired, like I can't
- 51:06Speaker 1: even believe that you're allowed to make this call like
- 51:08Speaker 1: our other parents. Okay, with this, I'm called when you
- 51:14Speaker 1: own your way to work in the morning traina do
- 51:17Speaker 1: you listen to the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Oh my god,
- 51:22Speaker 1: yes I do. From the Steve Harvey Morning Yes, your
- 51:31Speaker 1: cousin Vicky got me the prank polk call you baby.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm gonna yeah. I mean I was like,
- 51:41Speaker 1: oh my god, I love Harvey, I love you. I
- 51:45Speaker 1: was about God, you gotta tell me this baby traina
- 51:51Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 51:53Speaker 1: show in the lane, Steve Harvey? Come on, man, come
- 52:03Speaker 1: on man, when you told her song might need the walk,
- 52:08Speaker 1: she needs to cook better. I mean it's just two
- 52:15Speaker 1: baby one twenty five. The boy, wait here, you overweight
- 52:18Speaker 1: right now? We got to get it down. Okay, a
- 52:20Speaker 1: little walking down the school bus. Now you have it.
- 52:26Speaker 1: That's my little dose is stupid this morning? Another dose
- 52:29Speaker 1: of it, I must saying. Morning. Yeah, that's two scoops,
- 52:33Speaker 1: right yeah. Apart for the course all of that. That's like,
- 52:39Speaker 1: that's what triple both. The boy, that's a birdie. What
- 52:44Speaker 1: did you talking about? Look, I'm hitting birdie's. I'm hitting
- 52:49Speaker 1: birdies in Jacksonville. Flawder. The Nephew is coming in November.
- 52:53Speaker 1: You understand that. November, Baby, the Nephew is coming down
- 52:56Speaker 1: the twelfth and thirteenth November, Jacksonville, Flower to the Nephew
- 53:00Speaker 1: shall be there. That's nephew Tommy and ignorant as friends. Okay,
- 53:05Speaker 1: that is that the Ramona Pavilion. Okay, never heard of
- 53:09Speaker 1: that place. Happy, but if you're in Jacksonville, you definitely
- 53:11Speaker 1: know about it. Stew Ramona Pavilion, ball they know how Yo?
- 53:14Speaker 1: That's November twenty. That the day, know how yo? Convention
- 53:17Speaker 1: Center side of the night, November twenty. Stupid your rides,
- 53:22Speaker 1: Tommy isn't okay? If? Um, I don't know if this
- 53:25Speaker 1: is great? Co worker? Um? You know, I don't know protocol.
- 53:29Speaker 1: But can I ask for tickets? Gonna get tickets? Oh?
- 53:32Speaker 1: Hell yeah? Caller do it all the time. I know.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I don't know how to go. Oh, let me tell
- 53:37Speaker 1: you how I go? Where are you going now? Jacksonville, Jacksonville?
- 53:43Speaker 1: I need Jack tell him what your name? Tommy take in? Yeah?
- 53:50Speaker 1: It would be nice though when he told him where
- 53:53Speaker 1: he was gonna be in Jacksonville instead of hiding Birdie's
- 53:56Speaker 1: we know what he shows whatever coming up next Strawberry
- 54:14Speaker 1: Letters subject I'm getting played by an old man. We'll

- 54:48Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. All right, thank you, nephew.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Subject I'm getting played by an old man. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm a twenty eight year old divorced one and I
- 55:00Speaker 1: fell on hard times during the pandemic. I got laid
- 55:04Speaker 1: off and then I got a bad case of COVID
- 55:06Speaker 1: and had to move in with my father and stepmom.
- 55:08Speaker 1: That's where I met my stepmom sixty nine year old brother,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and he swept me off my feet. We started working
- 55:16Speaker 1: out together and we ran a marathon together. He started
- 55:21Speaker 1: out giving me money for my hair and nails, and
- 55:24Speaker 1: then he gave me a car to drive. My dad
- 55:26Speaker 1: asked him why he was being so generous, and he
- 55:29Speaker 1: said that he can only drive one car at a time,
- 55:31Speaker 1: so he didn't mind. My dad warned me to watch
- 55:34Speaker 1: out for him. But I was already attracted to this
- 55:37Speaker 1: man and was ready to sleep with him. I told
- 55:40Speaker 1: this man I was attracted to him, and he said
- 55:42Speaker 1: that he'd been waiting to hear that because he had
- 55:45Speaker 1: been attracted to me from the jump. We had sex
- 55:48Speaker 1: in his car that day. It all happened quickly, and
- 55:51Speaker 1: I loved it. From that day on, he gave me
- 55:54Speaker 1: money freely, and he started sneaking over to my dad's
- 55:56Speaker 1: house to be intimate with me while my dad and
- 55:59Speaker 1: step mom were at work. The more we had sex,
- 56:02Speaker 1: the more I wanted to be with him. He said
- 56:04Speaker 1: he would get me an apartment so we could stop
- 56:06Speaker 1: having sex at my dad's house. Then he abruptly stopped
- 56:10Speaker 1: calling and coming to see me, and he texted me
- 56:12Speaker 1: and asked for his carback. I called him over a
- 56:15Speaker 1: million times and he wouldn't answer. He texted again to
- 56:20Speaker 1: tell me that he was with someone new and he's
- 56:22Speaker 1: moving in with him. Wait what and he's moving her
- 56:27Speaker 1: in with him. He blocked my phone number. After that,
- 56:30Speaker 1: I was heartbroken and mad. He promised to get me
- 56:33Speaker 1: an apartment, and he played me should I give him
- 56:36Speaker 1: an ultimatum to get the apartment, or I'll tell my
- 56:39Speaker 1: dad how he tricked me into falling for him. How
- 56:41Speaker 1: do I handle this? This was not an average sixty
- 56:48Speaker 1: nine year old man. Let's just say that. Okay, you
- 56:51Speaker 1: guys working out together. He ran a marathon with him,
- 56:55Speaker 1: and he gives you money too, and all of this.
- 56:58Speaker 1: He was a Zaddi for real. Everybody calls day for real. Okay,
- 57:02Speaker 1: But you know, having said all that, you still need
- 57:05Speaker 1: to let him go, get him out of your system,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and move on. I'm guessing here, But because he stopped
- 57:12Speaker 1: seeing you so abruptly, I think your father already found
- 57:15Speaker 1: out what was going on between you two, and he
- 57:17Speaker 1: probably threatened the man's life or something. So you can't
- 57:21Speaker 1: use the threat to tell your dad on him to
- 57:23Speaker 1: get the apartment. He promised, that's over. It's over. Okay. Yeah,
- 57:27Speaker 1: he's followed for not telling you why. But as we've
- 57:30Speaker 1: learned on this very show, the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 57:33Speaker 1: men do not do closure. He's just moved on. There
- 57:38Speaker 1: was a reason your dad didn't want you to date
- 57:40Speaker 1: him in the first place, and his warning to you
- 57:42Speaker 1: fell on deaf ears, so he probably went straight to
- 57:45Speaker 1: the source. The older man who you say, swept you
- 57:48Speaker 1: off your feet, his brother in law, his wife's brother.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Whatever went down at that meeting. This old guy decided
- 57:54Speaker 1: it wasn't worth it to fight for you, guys. It's
- 57:56Speaker 1: a relationship. He didn't want to have to fight your
- 57:59Speaker 1: dad or any one, so he hurried up and got
- 58:01Speaker 1: with someone else. And that's just how I see it.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I think you should forget him. You don't really miss
- 58:07Speaker 1: him anyway. You just missed the money and the perks,
- 58:10Speaker 1: the car and all that, and you miss the apartment
- 58:12Speaker 1: he promised you. So just move on, Steve, Well, well,
- 58:18Speaker 1: well I got played buy an old man. Is this
- 58:23Speaker 1: subject all right? Now? It's twenty nine year old divorce woman.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Listen to me, careful. Fell on hard times during the pandemic,
- 58:34Speaker 1: got laid off and then got a bad case of COVID.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Had to move in with my father and the stepmom.
- 58:43Speaker 1: That's why I met my stepmom sixty nine year old brother,
- 58:47Speaker 1: and he swept me off my feet. Let me give
- 58:52Speaker 1: you the facts back to you. You fell on hard
- 58:57Speaker 1: times and you got COVID. You was already off your feet.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Easy to sweep somebody off their feet, that's all already
- 59:12Speaker 1: off their feet. So see, if you didn't get played,
- 59:16Speaker 1: you misunderstood what was happening to you. You did not
- 59:21Speaker 1: get swept off your feet. You was all already on
- 59:25Speaker 1: the ground. All right, that's the main part. We started
- 59:33Speaker 1: working out together and we ran a marathon together. Wait,
- 59:36Speaker 1: hold on, that's what I said. Hold on what you
- 59:43Speaker 1: you come out of COVID, started working out and run
- 59:48Speaker 1: a marathon together. I'm assuming you don't know what a
- 59:54Speaker 1: marathon is. You must be talking about a five k
- 59:59Speaker 1: marathon or something like that. I know. Gooding to hell.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Well your ass ain't come out of COVID and ran
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: twenty six point two damn miles. I promise you this
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: ain't a real marathon. She has a misunderstanding, I promise.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Girl stopped and from my he started giving me money
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: for hand nails, and then he gave me a car
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to dry. I don't know why women to get impressed
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: when a man pay for your hand nail. I don't
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: know why that's impressive to some women. It's just nailed, right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: that's all it is, you know, and you got your
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: hand done. How often that happened? So I'm y'all get
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: impressed by a lot of little stuff now, your dad
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: asked the man, why was he being so generous? He said,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: he can only drive one car. Your dad warned you
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: to watch out for him, but I was already attracted
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: and I was ready to sleep with him. I'm gonna
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: stop right there. When I come back, I'm gonna show
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you what happened right to that. All right, hang on,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: hang on, We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: letter subject I'm getting played by an old man. We'll
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject I'm getting played by an
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: old man. All right, here's recap I'm getting played by
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: old man. Twenty eight year old divorce woman fellow hard
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: times doing the pandemic, lost her job and got COVID.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Had to move in with her daddy and her step mom.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: She met the step daddy's sixty nine year old brother
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: step spector step mom's sixty nine year old brother. She
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: was attracted to him, and he came in and swept
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: her off her feet. He book. That's already down is
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a lot easier to sweep off their feet. All you
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: got to do is scoop him up. You was on
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the ground, you ain't working, and you got COVID. Now
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: you haven't met this sixty nine year old man. Y'all
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: start working out together and ran the marathon. What you
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: know how long it take to get in shape to
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: run a damn marathon? Little girl, you don't know what
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a marathon is, and you don't know what getting swept
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: off your feet is. You just wrong on so many levels.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: He gave you money for your hand, your nail, gave
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you a car to drive. Then your dad, asking why
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: he's being so generous, he said he can only drive
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: one car to time. Your daddy know that. Your daddy
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: warned me to watch out for him. But I was
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: already attracted to this man that was ready to sleep
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: with him. I told this man I was attracted to him,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and he said he'd been waiting to hit that because
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: he'd been attracted to me from the jump. Next line,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: we had sex in his car that day. Pump your brain.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: That's an important thing, because right now, if you're sixty
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: nine having sex in the car, I'm impressed. Oh, you're
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: not impressed with the marathon, but you're impressed with the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: damn now sixty nine having sex in that car. I'm
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: impressed this man right here. Damn that marathon. Skip all
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: that buying your hand, nails, y'all hands sex that day
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: in the car. It all happened quickly, and I loved
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: it from that day own. He gave me money freely,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and he started sneaking over to my dad's house to
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: be intimate me with intimate with me while my dad
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: and stepmom were at work. Now I'm not impressed. Oh,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I'm back to being like not impressed. Now you sixty
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: nine sneaking over your brother in law's house to have
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: sex with his daughter. You went from the impressing me
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: to unimpressing me. The more we had sex, the more
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I wanted to be with him. He said he would
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: give me an apartment so we could stop having sex
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: at my dad's house. An apartment for sex. Here we
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: go again. I'm not impressed that. I don't know why
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: y'all keep getting excited about your hand, your nails and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: apartment and listen to me. He gave you a car
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: to drive. I'm gonna deal with that in a minute.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Then all of a sudden, he abruptly stopped calling and
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: coming to see me. He texts me and asked first
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: car back. I called him a million times, he wouldn't answer.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: He texts me to tell me he was with somebody
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: knew he's moving her in with him. He blocked my
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: phone number. After that, I was heart broken in mad
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: He promised to get me an apartment, and he laid me.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Should I give him an ultimatum to get the apartment
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: or I'll tell my dad how he tricked me into
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: falling for him. How do I handle him? First of all,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: let's back all this up. Number one. Your father told
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you in the beginning to watch out for him. Your
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: father told you your father can't tell him what to do.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: He's sixty nine. He probably older than your daddy. That
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: one was impressive about y'all had sex in the car.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: It's harder unfold your old ass after you've been in
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: a hard very hard to getting him present. You can't
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: do like you wan't too. You're gonna get cramps. Your
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: lad's gonna lock up. There's a whole lot going wrong again.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Your daddy told you listen to me. He didn't play you.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: You played yourself. Here's another thing. When a man says
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: he gonna let you drive a car, but he don't
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: buy you a car, that never works out. I've never
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: seen that workout for a lady before. If a man
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: is gonna give you a car, didn't get your car,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: put it in your name, letting you drive it because
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: the moment you ain't having sex no more. Guess what
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: he wants. He want all his stuff back, all his
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: stuff he gave you don't have sexual him. And see
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: don't he asked for all his stuff back. Man, don't
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: give you something for nothing. You got no commitment from
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: this guy. Now. Also, let me throw this at you,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: your sister. You didn't notice how thrilled he must have
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: been to have this twenty eight year old and he's
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: sixty nine. What, junior, that's impressive. Yeah, you didn't think
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: that was impressive on your part. So, lady, this is it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: But let me listen to all you fellas just reading
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: this letter. Don't take your sixty nine year old ass
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: out there in the driveway and try to climb in
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: that card hand sick. You don't gonna work out for you.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: That's the moral is it now, all right, boast your
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast one
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: to Man coming up at forty six minutes after Sports
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Talk with Junior. Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up at the top
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: of the hour, it's Carla's Reality Update. But right now
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Junior is in the building with Sports Talk. What you got, Junior?
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: You know, Shirley, last night I told y'all that the
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: NBA season kicked off. Look, uh, well two nights ago.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: But this, this is it's impressive to me, is that
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that they players are not having this man, they're not.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Everybody has to be a team right now. So Kyrie
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Irvy is not moving off his position. He still doesn't
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: want to get vaccinated, but he still stands to make
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: seventeen million? Is this? How does this work? I don't
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: know how this work? How does this work? He still
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: get seventeen me if he don't play a game. I
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: wonder he's not worried about it. But it doesn't make sense. No,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: it don't make hurt himself playing football for free. I
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: don't get it. I just understand, but you know, seventeen minutes.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: But then and then also now this, you know Ben Simmons,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: who plays for philadelph and seventy sixers, did not have
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: any contact with the seventy sixers, none of the off season,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: showed up last Sunday for practice, then he got put
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: out of practice by doctor Rivers, and then he was
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: suspended for the first game. Now he didn't already lost
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: one point faux mellion. Just for that, you'd already lost
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: one point foul mellion, all right. Now, Joel n b
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: pretty much tied to him because he said, I don't
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: get paid to babysit other players. That's pretty much what
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Ben Simmons said. I'm not baby sitting here. I get paid, Yeah,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Joel n bisa, I get paid to produce on the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: court wins. That's what I get paid due. I'm not
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: here to get paid to babysit an NBA player, which
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: is Ben Simmons who he's talking about. I feel with
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: being said, because this is about a team, man. Everybody
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: gotta have one mission and one goal. And if you
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: you're not trying to be a part of it, I'm
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: not looking out for you. So we clearly no dame
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: friends off the court because your friend wouldn't do you
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: like this. To me, some money is usually better than
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: no money. What that means, just like I learned, all
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: money ain't good money. I've taken some deals where I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: wasn't really happy with the amount I was getting paid
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: for my services. But if I don't do this deal,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I'll get no money and I'll provide no services. That's
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: pure ignorance to me, because I remember that was a
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: time when I was offered zero for nothing. I did
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I do so, I mean to me, I would do that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I'm just you know you're trying to I think that
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Kyrie's problem is he's trying to be a martyr, and
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: you're not gonna be Colin Kaepernick because what you're standing
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: up for doesn't make any damn sense to the average
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: person listening to this to say the cause you standing on.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: All right, we gotta get out of here. Thank you, Junior,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: and thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Kyla's reality update right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: all right? Right Before we get to this reality update, Steve,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: you had one more thing to say about the vaccine
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: well and Kyrie. Kyrie, here's what this brother does not understand.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: And I wish I could get to him and share
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: some information with him. If you don't get back to
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: playing basketball, your your stock in the NBA is gonna
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: be diminished because you I want you to know something.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Kyrie missed forty eight percent of the games last year
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: in Brooklyn. That's damn near have He did not play
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: forty eight percent at the time. Some of it was
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: due to injury, a lot of it was caused he
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: didn't feel like, you know, he got mental things he
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: dealing it with has nothing to play with mental issues
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: are real. But whatever the case, now that's league wide known.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: So Philadelphia can't have you, and I mean Brooklyn can't
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: have you in this locker room with this mess. Joel
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Embiid just said what he said all these sed so
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I mean, I mean about Ben Simmons. But Brooklyn can't
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: have you in that locker room. If you're not gonna
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: play all the games, your value is diminishing. Even in
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: a trade. You will never ever make this money again,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: and you'll never be able to recoup this money again.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Example antony o'brown Man one Day Away, from holding off
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: in Oakland and he would have got thirty million. Today.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Antonio o'brown plays for a little bit over million dollars
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: a year. Once they label you as trouble, you got
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: to pay your way back into these leagues. Now, these
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: are businessmen with dealing with and that's a problem. This
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: young man is gonna face Kyrie Irvin can go nowhere
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: to make this kind of money Nowhere. Anybody feeling hire?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You know where home depot don't want these problems. I
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: come to work, but I ain't feeling good at that. Companies, Ye,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your hats. It's that
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: time just for Carlin's reality update coming in hot. I
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: just got one thing to say, one reality show to
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: talk about it if I have time, real quick, Real
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Housewives of Beverly Hills, the reunion show. Did you see it?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Shirley Okay, Doret needs to be fired the way she
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: talked to garcel during that reunion special, and she raised
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: her voice in her tone and Garcelle handled it like
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: the black queen that she is. She sat there and
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: handled it with class and dignity. But baby, when she
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: raised her voice, let me finish Garcel. You know, I'd
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: have been sitting on the other side of couch. Will
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you're talking to who you're talking to? Time the black
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Queen is not appropriate. A lot of people wanted to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: just handle Yeah, they wanted her to go in on it,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: but she she handled it her way, and you know
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that was her way. So there you go. So Doritt,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I want her gone. I did not like her tone.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I really didn't. And then Lisa Wrenna, she's full of
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: it too, but she tried to play it off at
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the end and run over to the couch and hug
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: her because I think she realized that her behavior was
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: gonna catch up and she was gonna probably get a
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: little backlash too. So that's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: all right. We got a little time we could talk
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: about Potomac, Real Housewives of Potomac, all right. So they
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: go they're still on this good vibes only trip. There
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: are no good vibes happening on this trip. They go
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: to a public restaurant. Things get ugly at the restaurant.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Candice goes off again. She gets into it with Ashley,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: her husband Chris. I didn't like the way he grabbed
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: her and tried to get her to calm down. Monica's
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: like whatever, she needed to be checked, but she just
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: kind of, you know, Candice just needs to stop reacting
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: to everything, and I think that's where her husband was
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: trying to tell her to just kind of chill out
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: and just let some things happen. You don't have to
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: react to everything. So we will see. And I'm not
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: mad at Giselle and Robin for going to get a hotel.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Ain't nobody sharing no bathroom with me? And they don't
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: know any house. So I'm with Giselle and robint on that.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: So that's reality update. You can follow me at lives
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: by Carla. We could keep the conversation go in what
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: you got Shirley Girl. All right, thanks Carla. Coming up
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the Duke of Ottingham pays us
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: a visit to talk about the Queen. We'll get into
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show. So the
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Duke of Ottingham is here there he is, Yeah, thank
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you for thank you for having this b a while though.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: You're welcome. Somebody life calm us young cal Madam calling

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: gotta do over your makes well. I mean we called

- 1:16:21Speaker 1: everything's okay with the queen over there. She has reluctantly
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: canceled a trip to Northern Ireland YouTube advice she got
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: from her medical doctors. Yes, yes, let me clasp something up.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: We're not going Yarland, my fighting drinking. We're English table,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: damn about Ireland. We'll be honest with him straight up
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: and being keeping it one hundred as they say, no
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: need for us to go to her and run the
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: risk of her hanging out with the old table and
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: they're drinking. We're gonna stay right here, right around in
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: a car and wave after people. That's all the Queen
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: has got to do. We're not going now, and we
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: just made up a better call, red hard saying the
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Queen is actually fine. Oh good, Okay, we're not going.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Oh we're not making the angmal Saint Patty's day. Okay,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: there's no say things Africa. We have Fritti of gold
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: my eyes God, buddy, trying to thank you, duke. We'll
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: have more of after right after this. You're listening to
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go, guys,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: this morning's version of would you rather? We're just gonna
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: jump right in. Uh, here's a question for you. Would
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: you rather have friends who are way more attractive than you?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Or would you know? Or would you rather have friends? Listener?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Would you rather have friends way more intelligent than you? Be?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Be way more intellig the fact I don't. I don't
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: like attractive friend? What is you in? This? Ugly cute thing? Man? Kids?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: How old? Ugly people? Why do you think I hate
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: with you? And uncle Steve? Yeah, you'll never notice that reliable?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Oh god, I had no problem. Take on? Steve called,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: oh yo, call we all say, hey, nephew, Tommy, let
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: me ask you some Yes, you have a lot of
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: attractive friends, don't you? Yeah? I mean yeah, because you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the ugly one that you ain't see it. I'm the
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: intelligent one. Ask where we all know? The mistake has been? There?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: The intelligent one. What's the next one? We're moving on?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Would you rather always have a strand of hair stuck
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: in your mouth? Or would you always rather have a
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: rock stuck in your shoe? So hair in your mouth
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: all the time or a rock shoe, Give me that
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: rock in the shoe. I gotta walk. Give me a
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: hand in the mountain, you k yeah, I take a
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: two pick, get it out. You can reach your hand
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: in that shoe and take that damn stone up. It's
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: gonna be another I rather had a hand in the mouth,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: because sometimes that could be a memory. You know what much?
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: You know much You're gonna be sometimes, ain't Nobody had
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: no memory about rocking the shop. Boy, you messed. Let
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: that rock workers way up into the front of that
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: shoe and get off to the side. Be sitting on
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: top of that baby toe. You gotta go down the steps. Yeah,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: when you brought the baby to in? Yeah, all right,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: here's another one. Would you rather have sex with someone
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: who screams all the time or have sex with someone
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: one that doesn't make a sound? Hey? Hey, yeah, everybody,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: we all boost my ego? Yeah yeah, please make me
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: think I'm something even if I ain't save my name.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: YEA silence is not an option for you, guys. Socks.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: We got feel locations, we got quilt, we got confident.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: We work with all this holly. Yeah, down, we can
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: turn it up and tone it down. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: be it make you stop. Definitely beat you over the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: sweat rolling off your head. Ain't nobody saying nothing? You
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: didn't I might want. All right, we'll be back to
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: close out the show at forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: and of course some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Thursday, this week
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: flying by to me? October is flying? Yeah? No, the
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: year true, that's because you enjoy your job. Oh. I
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: had a job at Ford. My year was dragging. It's
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: just you job. You're right, man, it's just what you
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: And then when you're up here go by fast anyway. Oh,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Tommy stopped. You see Tommy throw his arms up in
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: the air like this. I just get tired of him
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: coming here and take his arms. Yeah, yeah, was his hand.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: What's wrong on? Ain't wrong again? On the chair right now?
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: That doctor. You gotta do great work when you hold
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: your arms up and they still in the frame. Yeah,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: you dot do great words though, man, all right, ready
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: for your closing, Yeah, here we go. Here's my closing remarks.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I was reminded of something my father used to say
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: to me all the time. He says, Son, if somebody
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: always got to tell you what they do and who
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: they are, it probably ain't true. What if somebody always
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: got to tell you who they are and what they do,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: it's probably not true. And you know something is I've
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: gotten older and I think back on things my father
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: said to me. Man, that just rings so true. Man,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: And you got to be aware of people in your circle,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: people that's in your life that's always wanting credit. Especially man,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: if you find yourself in a position to pass it
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: out and you overlook them, Oh my goodness, have you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: ever done that? Have you ever taken the time out
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to give God the glory? I mean, just really sit
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: up and go. Man, I want to thank the Lord
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: for just keeping me, for making me, for giving me
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: this life, for allowing me to live the way I live,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Heavenly Father, that it's been so much greater than who
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I was. And somebody heard you said and then wanted
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: credit for that. That's amazing. Man. I've seen it all
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: because I've been around a long time. So what I'm
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: saying to everybody is, no, who in your life deserves
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: real credit, and the one person that you can constantly
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: count on in that is God. God really does deserve
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the real credit, and anybody trying to take it outside
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: of that, it's really just asking for something they really
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: don't even deserve, because when they get through trying to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: take credit in your life for what they want to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: take credit for. Who gave them the power, who gave
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: them the position, who gave them the ability to wake
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: up in the morning. That same God that wakes you
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: up in the morning, you know, did have to wake
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: them up. But they're so busy getting credit they don't
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: give credit back to God even waking them up. They
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: want to constantly come around in your circle and take
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: credit for this and that. Listen, y'all be aware of that.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Get stronger in your relationship with God. That don't mean
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: you got to go to a certain church or a
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: certain building. You can start developing a relationshipship with God
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: with where you are right now. He does not require
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you to wait to Sunday, to put on a certain
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: type of clothes and walk in a certain door. That's
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: not a requirement. Now. It's going to church and temples
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and halls good for you. Yeah, of course, it's always good.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: The fellowship with like minded people that talks about that.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: That's nothing wrong with that. I'm not knocking that at all.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: But listen to me. Don't wait until then. Don't put
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: off to Sunday what you can easily do today. You
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: can have a conversation with God today. Well, Steve, I
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: don't really know how to pray. You know how to talk,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: don't you. That's all it is. It's a word of
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: an exchange. Here's a suggestive way to pray. Before you
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: ask God for anything. How about if you just start
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: with thanking him. Just start by thanking him for all
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: the things he's done for you. That's not hard to
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: come up with. That's how you really go. You know,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: it's really hard to ask people for something without having
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: thank them for what they've done. Like I used the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: analogy all the time. If a person came by your
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: house every morning and just ask you for a cup
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: of sugar, and you don't really know what it's for,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: but you cool persons, you just give them a cup
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: of sugar. They take the sugar, they just turn around
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: and walk away. And they come back the next day
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: and they ask you for another cup of sugar, and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: you don't really know what's going on, but you're trying
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: to help this person because maybe they need and you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: pour them another cup of sugar. But as soon as
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: you give them the sugar, they just turn around and
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: walk away. How many days could this person come back
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: to your house without you saying, hey, hold on, hold on,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: hold first of all, man, every time I'll give you
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: this sugar, you're just taking and walking away. You don't
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: have the manners to say thank you, or how many
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: times would be fer a man, Hey, hey, hey, what
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you're doing with all this sugar? But the real problem
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: is you don't like doing stuff for people, and they
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: don't have no sense of gratitude for it. It just
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: bothers you. Well, you're lucky. God ain't like that, because
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: God lets you come all the time without ever saying
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: thank you, and just honors your request anyway. He wakes
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: you up every day and whilet you ever having to
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: say thank you, he s I'm just doing for you
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: because you don't know no better. But if you would
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: change that one thing and just start thanking him for
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: the small things, the more gratitude you show to God,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: the more things He will give you to have gratitude
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: two four. That's a principle of success. Stop worring about
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: what other people think and start wondering what God might think.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Start by thanking him. That's how you open your prayer.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: And then right after you thank him, tell him what
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: you want, ask, believe, and receive. That's how the prayer works. Y'all,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: have a great day. See y'all tomorrow, God willing and tomorrow.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Here's my promise to you. If you wake me up,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna be ignorant tomorrow. I'm a boy, promise you why.
