- 2:03Speaker 1: and everybody y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now wanted only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: here we go. I was working out. I was talking
- 2:18Speaker 1: to a buddy of mine, and I was telling him
- 2:21Speaker 1: something that Bishop T. D. Jake's told me one time
- 2:26Speaker 1: I heard him say it. He said, Oh, I would
- 2:29Speaker 1: hate to die and not do the thing that I
- 2:34Speaker 1: was born to do. I would hate to die and
- 2:40Speaker 1: not do the theme that I was born to do. Man,
- 2:46Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, man. That hit me like a
- 2:49Speaker 1: like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 2:53Speaker 1: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me
- 3:00Speaker 1: to live my life this way now. And I'm talking
- 3:05Speaker 1: about grateful for all of it, the good, the bad,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and the ugly, and I have had all of them.
- 3:14Speaker 1: The person you see today. It ain't always who I was.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It was on the inside of me, but it hadn't
- 3:21Speaker 1: externalized itself, if that's a word. It hadn't been brought out.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It was in hell, but it was under development. Who
- 3:31Speaker 1: I am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't trip Hem through with me yet. Even today, I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today. I still fall
- 3:49Speaker 1: short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what, I'm ever grateful
- 3:56Speaker 1: for the life I have. And you know what, I
- 3:59Speaker 1: want to encourage everybody today to explore your possibilities. I mean, man,
- 4:08Speaker 1: explore your possibilities. Why would you not want to find out, discover,
- 4:18Speaker 1: or know what it is God got for you? Why
- 4:24Speaker 1: would you not want to achieve or accomplish all of
- 4:28Speaker 1: your possibilities? Now, as I ask you this question, I
- 4:32Speaker 1: want you to know that the devil is busy, that
- 4:35Speaker 1: he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this, I
- 4:38Speaker 1: already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's easy for you to say, but I didn't get
- 4:44Speaker 1: myself in this situation right here. Ain't nothing too hard
- 4:48Speaker 1: for God? Nothing nothing? And see, so as you listen
- 4:55Speaker 1: to me, try to try to get your mind open
- 4:58Speaker 1: to this. Why would you not want to explore all
- 5:03Speaker 1: of your life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about from right where you are right now.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to change. I'm not asking you
- 5:14Speaker 1: to do anything. I'm telling you this is a fact
- 5:18Speaker 1: that God can get you from right where you are
- 5:22Speaker 1: right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken, all of that, misfortunate,
- 5:38Speaker 1: all of the missus you've been talking about in your life.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You know you. I missed the lottery, I missed my ride.
- 5:45Speaker 1: They fired me. I missed the deadline. I didn't get it,
- 5:50Speaker 1: miss pop. People just miss stay self to death. If
- 5:54Speaker 1: you've been all in missus, God can get you from
- 5:57Speaker 1: right where you are. God a home run hitter. I'm
- 6:01Speaker 1: here to tell you that he's a home run hitter.
- 6:04Speaker 1: He's a put him over the wall whenever he wants to,
- 6:07Speaker 1: all the time. And you can be a recipient of
- 6:09Speaker 1: some of these home runs. He'll put the bat in
- 6:11Speaker 1: your hand. But you got to sway now, listen to me.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got
- 6:18Speaker 1: to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He
- 6:22Speaker 1: won't hold you down about it if you don't hold
- 6:24Speaker 1: yourself down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one
- 6:26Speaker 1: more time. The devil is busy. So what the devil
- 6:29Speaker 1: do is He makes you think you ain't worthy. He
- 6:32Speaker 1: makes you think that you've done something so despicable that
- 6:35Speaker 1: you can't come back from it. He makes you feel
- 6:38Speaker 1: like you're so low you can't go up high. He
- 6:40Speaker 1: knocked you down, and make you feel like you've been
- 6:42Speaker 1: knocked down harder than anybody else. You can't get up.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He rolled you so deep down in that ditch you
- 6:47Speaker 1: can't see over the edge. God can come get you
- 6:51Speaker 1: from no matter where you are. I'm telling you, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you ain't in no hole too deep for God. Magic
- 6:59Speaker 1: Johnson to tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't
- 7:01Speaker 1: in no hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can
- 7:04Speaker 1: tell you that you ain't in a hole too deep
- 7:06Speaker 1: for God. Tyler Perry can tell you that. I can
- 7:11Speaker 1: name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I could tell you. Kenneth Olmer can tell you that.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olman, I could tell you some people. Kirk
- 7:18Speaker 1: Franklin can tell you that Donnie mcclarkton can tell you that.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I just know some people personally man that they've been
- 7:24Speaker 1: in a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell your about it.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I know some people man been down, been in a
- 7:31Speaker 1: hole so deep. I bet you. Paula Deane can tell
- 7:34Speaker 1: you about it. See. But but you know what, then
- 7:38Speaker 1: here we go, see we see see you know, see
- 7:42Speaker 1: we don't we don't like to talk about that because
- 7:44Speaker 1: now we want everybody to pay extra hard for some
- 7:47Speaker 1: mistakes they made when clearly and excuse me for being
- 7:51Speaker 1: a new Christian, but there is a prayd that I've
- 7:53Speaker 1: been saying since I was a little bitty boy, and
- 7:55Speaker 1: it took me till I was a grown man to
- 7:57Speaker 1: understand it. Forgive us our trust pass as we forgive
- 8:01Speaker 1: those who trust passed against us. So see, it ain't
- 8:04Speaker 1: my job to hold nobody down, to keep my knee
- 8:08Speaker 1: on somebody's neck. Who am I. I'm gonna need some
- 8:11Speaker 1: forgiveness in a second here, probably today. See so all this,
- 8:16Speaker 1: you're holding people down with the way you feel in
- 8:19Speaker 1: bout the man. She shouldn't have said this, and she
- 8:21Speaker 1: will never get it. I'll never support this again. Man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Get up, Get up and get real. You're for real.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You think you ain't fin the need forgiveness real soon?
- 8:29Speaker 1: You ain't fna make a diabolical mistake in your life.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You don't think you are. I have thousands of them,
- 8:35Speaker 1: probably gonna make a few hundred more for I get
- 8:37Speaker 1: up out of here. So I've decided to be in
- 8:40Speaker 1: a forgiving business because I want God to forgive my
- 8:45Speaker 1: trust passes as I forgive those who trust passed against me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I get I get tired of talking to pistol, to
- 8:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved, and talking about the
- 8:58Speaker 1: dead Christian. I don't want that type religion. Man. I
- 9:00Speaker 1: ain't in that no more. I ain't in that. You
- 9:02Speaker 1: can call me wrong if you want to saying how
- 9:04Speaker 1: you want to say. I ain't in that no more.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I ain't in all that. You can feel how you
- 9:07Speaker 1: want to feel about me. But I got proof that
- 9:09Speaker 1: God work in my life. You know, I can't hardly
- 9:12Speaker 1: get it out sometime when people ask me something about
- 9:15Speaker 1: deeper on the inside of me, about my soul and
- 9:17Speaker 1: how I used to being, and my journey and my trip.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Because people don't know the trip I've been on. You
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't been on one worse than me. But you know what,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you ain't in a hole too deep. God can't get
- 9:26Speaker 1: you out of. Man. I wish, I want. I want
- 9:29Speaker 1: people to remember that man, God is a redeemer, He
- 9:33Speaker 1: the Great I am. So if you ain't got nothing,
- 9:36Speaker 1: now what you asking for? You know you might not
- 9:39Speaker 1: have nothing because you ain't asking for nothing. Could asking
- 9:42Speaker 1: God to get you out of debt and ask God
- 9:44Speaker 1: for a life of abundance. Then you take the money
- 9:47Speaker 1: and you get out of debt. You keep asking to
- 9:48Speaker 1: get out of debt. You keep being in debt to
- 9:50Speaker 1: get out of Come on, man, what you're asking God? Fault?
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm just tripping today, that's all. I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to morning show, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey

- 10:33Speaker 1: I don't never ask you for nothing. That's not true,
- 10:35Speaker 1: But go ahead, and I just want to ask you.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I mean, you know, what do it take up just
- 10:42Speaker 1: just asking for me and part of my friends of Houston.
- 10:44Speaker 1: What do it take for you to send us to
- 10:45Speaker 1: the World Series because the Astros is in it? What
- 10:49Speaker 1: do it take how we get you to get us
- 10:51Speaker 1: in the World Series? I mean, what's used to knowing you?
- 10:54Speaker 1: If I can't use you? Well? First of all, just
- 10:58Speaker 1: let me say that you open your statement with the
- 11:02Speaker 1: fact that you never asked me for something, then you
- 11:05Speaker 1: turned right around and not only asked me for something
- 11:08Speaker 1: for you, but all your ragged ass friends who I
- 11:13Speaker 1: do not know and who are not friends of mine. Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I don't care how y'all get in the World Series.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't care. If you thought y'all had a chance
- 11:26Speaker 1: of going to the World Series, why didn't you make
- 11:28Speaker 1: some type of preparations to go to the damn World City?
- 11:34Speaker 1: What we didn't know we was gonna make it? Well
- 11:36Speaker 1: not a we end Oh, you didn't know y'all was
- 11:39Speaker 1: gonna make it. Why because they wouldn't let y'all cheat
- 11:41Speaker 1: This year the show. Let's see that we end up.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Can you make a phone call? Just get us a sweep?
- 11:50Speaker 1: It'd be all of us in a sweet Who are
- 11:52Speaker 1: they playing the Atlanta Braise? And you think that right
- 11:57Speaker 1: here in Atlanta where I leave that, I'm gonna make
- 12:01Speaker 1: a phone call hell for the enemy that is the
- 12:07Speaker 1: Houston Abstros to allow y'all to come. You don't know
- 12:11Speaker 1: this atl You don't even know you know where that
- 12:13Speaker 1: stadium at? Yeah, okay, okay, yeah, yeah, you don't think
- 12:18Speaker 1: we can you don't think, but you can't make a
- 12:20Speaker 1: phone call. I mean, what's okay? You have you I'm
- 12:22Speaker 1: trying to save you in your little friend's life. You
- 12:24Speaker 1: come up here with your little Houston jersey on this

- 12:34Speaker 1: the game if you want to be your last game.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Na what Yeah we bray who Yeah? So that's a no,
- 12:44Speaker 1: that's a pretty of note. No. No, it's not a nope. No, okay, no,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm no what it is. Listen to Judie. I haven't
- 12:53Speaker 1: put any thought into how you gonna get to the game.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It's not a no, it's just that I have not
- 13:00Speaker 1: put any mental capacity of mine into the fact that
- 13:03Speaker 1: you want to go to the game. I just ain't
- 13:06Speaker 1: putting none into it. So so you ain't. You ain't
- 13:09Speaker 1: through thinking about it to the first game too, so
- 13:11Speaker 1: I have not begun to think about it. Would you start? Please?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm not schilling. I ain't got no waste
- 13:18Speaker 1: my brain energy on this right here. I'd be damn.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I'm damn surprised you called and asked me one of
- 13:31Speaker 1: your friends coming up the thirty person ain't got a
- 13:37Speaker 1: friend named Tyrone asked the CLO Chief Love Office to
- 13:41Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building right after this. You're listening
- 13:45Speaker 1: stehow time now, guys for asking the CLO Chief Love
- 13:50Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey in the building to answer your love questions.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Catania in the Midwest says, I'm thirty three years old
- 13:59Speaker 1: and I have a mail order business selling sex toys.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I did a party two nights ago, and it was
- 14:04Speaker 1: for a woman that is new in town. Her boyfriend
- 14:08Speaker 1: was at the party, and I know him well because
- 14:10Speaker 1: he's my coworker's husband and my coworker just had a baby.
- 14:14Speaker 1: We acted like we didn't know each other. The girl
- 14:17Speaker 1: was calling him babe, and they were very affectionate. This
- 14:21Speaker 1: doesn't sit well with my spirit? Should I talk to
- 14:24Speaker 1: him about this? It ain't none for you to talk
- 14:27Speaker 1: to him about. Why are you talking to this man?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Because he don't sit well in your spirit? What spirit?
- 14:36Speaker 1: The spirit of nosiness? What's one of your spirits? The
- 14:40Speaker 1: spirit of ain't none of your damn business. So no,
- 14:44Speaker 1: you shouldn't talk to this man because it's not your business.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Your business is selling sex toys in the mail. That's
- 14:54Speaker 1: your business. Now, co worker's husband who you're trying to say,
- 15:00Speaker 1: a sex toy to a baby? His coworker just had
- 15:06Speaker 1: a babe. Her coworker had a baby, right, Okay, the
- 15:11Speaker 1: man was over that shopping for sex toys while the
- 15:15Speaker 1: woman hosting the party was calling him babe. No, you
- 15:18Speaker 1: know that does not add up. It doesn't it. Surely
- 15:22Speaker 1: I understand it don't add up. But because it don't
- 15:26Speaker 1: sit well in hers baby, that's that's the part I
- 15:31Speaker 1: don't like. I don't like quitting people try to put
- 15:34Speaker 1: like a little holiness onto a tag or some mess
- 15:37Speaker 1: they fitting to do. It don't sit well. It must
- 15:40Speaker 1: you know you're trying to make it sound like it's
- 15:42Speaker 1: some holiness in here. You just want to tell. Why
- 15:45Speaker 1: don't you just call it what it is you want
- 15:47Speaker 1: to tell? You're dipping, you're getting in folk business. It
- 15:50Speaker 1: ain't chos and you're messy. And they was real affectionate.
- 15:55Speaker 1: She called him babe. You don't know his nickname, that
- 16:01Speaker 1: might be Stop. Don't sit well in your speed. Quit
- 16:10Speaker 1: bringing religion into your little mesh. You want to start now.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Don't say nothing to him. We're moving on MENTI and
- 16:17Speaker 1: little Rock says. I've been married for thirty eight years,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and my kids have all come back home and moved
- 16:23Speaker 1: in with us. My oldest is thirty five and got
- 16:26Speaker 1: a divorce, so she moved in with her two teenagers.
- 16:29Speaker 1: My twin sons decided to quit their jobs and open
- 16:32Speaker 1: a flower shop in town. The one is sleeping in
- 16:35Speaker 1: my basement and the other is on my nice living
- 16:38Speaker 1: room couch every night. My husband loves having them here,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and he cooked for them. I'm afraid they will never lead.
- 16:45Speaker 1: What do I do now? Understand? My father did this
- 16:51Speaker 1: for my sisters when we were growing up. My sister
- 16:54Speaker 1: got divorced and my daddy let him back home. My
- 16:58Speaker 1: father told me my brothers. Once you leave here, you
- 17:01Speaker 1: can't come back. I was homeless and couldn't go back home.
- 17:05Speaker 1: M So I don't know what I'm saying. How you
- 17:08Speaker 1: got the damn twin boys that want a old enough
- 17:11Speaker 1: flowers shop? What he got to do with you? And
- 17:13Speaker 1: why why they got to stay at your house? One
- 17:16Speaker 1: on the sofa got the flowershop? Is this that roses?
- 17:22Speaker 1: You know? You know, figure out, you know what I mean?
- 17:29Speaker 1: But why they got to move in your house to
- 17:31Speaker 1: do all this? Hill? And then you're a stupid husband
- 17:34Speaker 1: in that cooking form? What happy though? He's happy that
- 17:39Speaker 1: the kids are back home. Well, he happy that back
- 17:42Speaker 1: home because he tied in you after thirty eight years
- 17:47Speaker 1: sick and time. Man, we got some other people in here,
- 17:50Speaker 1: We got some diversions. Man, this is great. Man. I'm
- 17:53Speaker 1: glad y'all back. What's happening y'all? He got he got
- 17:55Speaker 1: something to do now, you know, y'all was sitting up
- 17:58Speaker 1: in that board, was nothing to do. He he ain't
- 18:00Speaker 1: trying to let them leave, Yeah, because she's afraid they
- 18:03Speaker 1: can never leave. Thank you, kind of hoping that you leave,
- 18:07Speaker 1: But ask what to sound like to me? He won't
- 18:12Speaker 1: make everybody comfortable. But you what should she do to do?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Ain't nothing she can't do. She ain't gonna put them out.
- 18:21Speaker 1: She afraid they never leave. Once you open up your doing,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you ain't got no time limit on it. What you
- 18:25Speaker 1: want them to do? Go in there and tell everybody, look,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you got you got faux most six months, get yourself
- 18:30Speaker 1: together now a man and I don't know no man
- 18:34Speaker 1: putting his dought out, So I don't really know that
- 18:37Speaker 1: all mine can come back, all right? Sandra Anne Sandra
- 18:43Speaker 1: Anne and Maryland says. I'm forty seven and I've been
- 18:46Speaker 1: married for seventeen years and my husband is acting differently
- 18:49Speaker 1: all of a sudden. He is shopping a lot now
- 18:53Speaker 1: and when we go, um, he asked the young ladies
- 18:56Speaker 1: in the store to match up outfits for him. I
- 18:59Speaker 1: don't think there's any everyone else he's interested in. But
- 19:01Speaker 1: he's still a homebody. Because he's still a homebody and
- 19:04Speaker 1: he's not on any social media. I thought about going
- 19:06Speaker 1: to his job to see if it's someone there. What
- 19:09Speaker 1: is going on with him? And should I be worried? Well?
- 19:13Speaker 1: He want to look nice. You know, he's been following
- 19:16Speaker 1: me on social media and everything come on daddy. I
- 19:21Speaker 1: mean he's trying to step his game. M you know
- 19:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You know you're trying to be about
- 19:28Speaker 1: it so you know you can't get mad. And you
- 19:30Speaker 1: know everybody, everybody, every man needs to unleash the unbridled
- 19:35Speaker 1: player that resides in them. Every man has it in him,
- 19:40Speaker 1: and he just finally decided to go forward. Y'all been
- 19:43Speaker 1: married seventeen years, you forty seven, So y'all been married
- 19:46Speaker 1: since you thirty. He just doing a face left. It
- 19:49Speaker 1: don't mean they ain't got nothing to do with Nobody
- 19:51Speaker 1: down at the job, but he asking the ladies in
- 19:54Speaker 1: the store to match stuff up for you know, you
- 19:57Speaker 1: probably ain't no dressing he'd ask you, But you know
- 20:00Speaker 1: what your last outfite look like. I'm just trying to
- 20:03Speaker 1: help you keep it. Another woman, listen to me. He's
- 20:10Speaker 1: a homebody. He ain't on social media, so he ain't cheating.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Now you want to go down to his job to
- 20:16Speaker 1: do what? It's other women down now, and it's other
- 20:20Speaker 1: women down there. It's dressing nice to go to work.
- 20:23Speaker 1: We got three women on the should that dressed nice
- 20:25Speaker 1: to come to work. They're not dressing nice to come
- 20:28Speaker 1: to work because they having in a fat. They dressed
- 20:30Speaker 1: nice because they look like they just take care of
- 20:33Speaker 1: their self type women. All right, so I dress up
- 20:36Speaker 1: they're having no fat, you know, but I know you
- 20:39Speaker 1: want to but you know, I just try to come.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Thank you. It is Monday morning, so you know what
- 20:49Speaker 1: that means. Reverend Motown and Reverend Abdoi are here with
- 20:54Speaker 1: church complaints right after this you're listening. Coming up at
- 21:00Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll talk about Alec Baldwin's
- 21:03Speaker 1: tragic accident on his movie set recently, and a big
- 21:07Speaker 1: news for Stephen Marjorie's daughter Laurie Harvey on the launch
- 21:10Speaker 1: of her new skincare line. We'll talk about all of
- 21:13Speaker 1: this at the top of the hour, but right now
- 21:15Speaker 1: it is time for the pastors and church complaints. We
- 21:20Speaker 1: gavel a spodaciously as we reckon nackally and dubiasly come
- 21:34Speaker 1: forth with the entire congregressional healing and messaging. Now, Deacon
- 21:45Speaker 1: death Jam is not here today, so I will refer
- 21:50Speaker 1: to my older brother, Yes Maine, that has been in
- 21:55Speaker 1: the ministry for as long as I can Amember, ladies
- 22:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, my older brother, honorable and Noy come on.
- 22:10Speaker 1: First of all, First of all, thank you good bothered everybody.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'd like the church to excuse me for what I'm
- 22:16Speaker 1: about to say. I don't want you to look badly
- 22:19Speaker 1: on me about what I'm about to say. But Deacond
- 22:23Speaker 1: Motown knew damn well last night his ass was not
- 22:28Speaker 1: gonna be here, and a favorable phone call would have
- 22:32Speaker 1: been nice. Truth would have been nice that called me
- 22:36Speaker 1: and say I'm not coming, I'm sick, I'm heiling something,
- 22:41Speaker 1: my toes swoll up or something in that damn thing.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Not to show up and not to call it shows
- 22:49Speaker 1: that he he don't give a damn about what we're
- 22:53Speaker 1: doing here in this ship. I'm saying, you know what
- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm saying, because we're here every I'm here waiting to
- 23:00Speaker 1: see if he's not here and I come here, come on,
- 23:04Speaker 1: let the Lord know that I'm gonna be by his
- 23:07Speaker 1: side now his excuse me, chick, His ass could have
- 23:10Speaker 1: text by the house, the email her up, some smoke
- 23:20Speaker 1: signals or some damn put it on. Excuse me, but
- 23:26Speaker 1: I won't be there to my rocky ride his ass.
- 23:32Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Thank you here, we are.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We're here we're here waiting on him, and when when
- 23:40Speaker 1: do we find out his ass ain't here? Just a
- 23:44Speaker 1: few minutes, although I don't know a few minutes, although
- 23:50Speaker 1: Jeff hanging jaff might nothing else to do for his ass.
- 24:02Speaker 1: You can't even prope waiting on this general general low life.
- 24:11Speaker 1: It's good sun. Whatever the one is it, whatever it is,
- 24:19Speaker 1: uncried knowledgeable, it's what you're looking for, unscried knowledge. Come
- 24:25Speaker 1: that he would do something like that. Say it again,
- 24:29Speaker 1: come bable that he would do something like this. That's
- 24:34Speaker 1: exactly the world I was looking for. You know, he
- 24:38Speaker 1: sitting up in here, and I'll tell you something else.
- 24:40Speaker 1: You're coming here and putting My older brother had nod
- 24:43Speaker 1: on the spot where he ain't got time to propel complaint.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I'm prepared. Don't think I'm not. Oh no no, no, no,
- 24:54Speaker 1: no no oh we got one papared yes, law all right, yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 1: we go ahead. Got my pressure up. I could feel it,
- 25:11Speaker 1: my pressure go up like that. I could just if
- 25:13Speaker 1: you don't have your peel, so I don't have bad heels.
- 25:16Speaker 1: We don't have it, so we'll hear it. The babies
- 25:20Speaker 1: that look old in the face would like to know
- 25:23Speaker 1: if you would baptize them up. We have several babies
- 25:28Speaker 1: look real real old face the baby. The baby is three,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but they look forny, sick, and I want to know
- 25:38Speaker 1: if you go ahead, I feel and then all of
- 25:44Speaker 1: them look bitted. People that were calling babies that look
- 25:49Speaker 1: old in the face happens to look Jeff like the
- 25:54Speaker 1: deacon that ain't hit it more. Thank you, thank you,
- 25:58Speaker 1: who has starred in the movie Little Man. He's so
- 26:06Speaker 1: little he can't he can't. Holy Man, you wear Lewis, Yeah, yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 1: and I'm with you, and it's might and funny. He
- 26:15Speaker 1: don't want to come in to day. He suspicious and
- 26:21Speaker 1: suspicious and Varia, let me tell you that he went
- 26:27Speaker 1: over Michael Jackson house when he was young and he
- 26:31Speaker 1: thought Bubbles was King Kong. That's all I got to
- 26:35Speaker 1: say that how small as he and a little and
- 26:40Speaker 1: the old in the face baby committee, Yeah, probably deacon
- 26:44Speaker 1: death jail. So there's about four of them, so they
- 26:47Speaker 1: will be that time. We were gonna baptize them, but
- 26:55Speaker 1: they're gonna wear Kanye Man yourself. I just wanted to
- 27:06Speaker 1: get that we were baptizing, but the babies are gonna
- 27:09Speaker 1: have to wear hooded backwards so you won't have to
- 27:12Speaker 1: look down. Thank you very much. Here we go. Due
- 27:15Speaker 1: to COVID, we have a lot of hand sanitizer left,
- 27:20Speaker 1: and the church is wondering could we fill up the
- 27:22Speaker 1: baptismal pool and you baptize people using hand sanitizers. That
- 27:28Speaker 1: way people will be cleaned and baptized at the same time.
- 27:34Speaker 1: How you feel about that? How do you feel about that?
- 27:36Speaker 1: I would The only problem is with that, for freed,
- 27:42Speaker 1: we're opening ourselves up to lawsuits because when you go backwards,
- 27:48Speaker 1: you can blow water out your nostrils. But the Lord
- 27:51Speaker 1: have mercy. That pool real hard to blow out your
- 27:55Speaker 1: knock you you wonna choke. Some people have to death.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I don't think that using a hand set the ties
- 28:03Speaker 1: and you know baptopool is a good ideal. No, No,
- 28:12Speaker 1: So we have As you know, this church is a
- 28:16Speaker 1: large church, and we have several white church members and
- 28:20Speaker 1: they like to start a coalition called White Members Matter
- 28:24Speaker 1: because they don't feel as if they're getting the respect
- 28:28Speaker 1: from the black members. How you feel about that? Well,
- 28:31Speaker 1: we're gonna let them protest for no damn reason at
- 28:34Speaker 1: all so they can understand how we feel when we're
- 28:37Speaker 1: trying to tell them that black lives matter. We don't
- 28:42Speaker 1: care nothing about your protests, just like you don't care
- 28:45Speaker 1: nothing about hours. I suggest that for a couple of
- 28:50Speaker 1: things that the three white members could do. It is
- 28:53Speaker 1: the next time we're singing the Negro national anthem, I
- 28:57Speaker 1: bet your ass, bet not kneel. Try you see how
- 29:02Speaker 1: you every damn word? You better know every damn words.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Thank you, Reverend Motown and Reverend Adnoid. Coming up at
- 29:16Speaker 1: the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment news
- 29:19Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the same Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:25Speaker 1: This is such a tragic story. On Friday, actor Alec
- 29:29Speaker 1: Baldwin was on the set of his new movie Rust
- 29:32Speaker 1: in Santa Fe and he was handed what was described
- 29:35Speaker 1: as a safe cold gun, but the prop gun contained
- 29:39Speaker 1: live rounds. Alec Baldwin fired the gun and shot two people.
- 29:44Speaker 1: He hit two people with that shot. First was cinematographer
- 29:48Speaker 1: Helena Hutchins and director Joel Susa, who was behind her.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Hutchins was shot in the chest and later died of
- 29:57Speaker 1: her wounds. Susa was hit in the shoulder and was
- 29:59Speaker 1: treated and i released from a local hospital. The assistant
- 30:02Speaker 1: director who handed Baldwin the prop gun did not know
- 30:05Speaker 1: it contained live rounds. Based on the affidavit by a
- 30:09Speaker 1: Santa Fece Sheriff Department detective, production on the movie was
- 30:13Speaker 1: immediately shut down and there were no charges filed, but
- 30:16Speaker 1: the investigation is still underway. Alec Baldwin issued a statement
- 30:20Speaker 1: saying there are no words to convey my shock and
- 30:23Speaker 1: sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of
- 30:27Speaker 1: Helena Hutchins, a wife, mother, and deeply admired colleague of ours.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm fully cooperating with a police investigation to address how
- 30:35Speaker 1: this tragedy occurred. I am in touch with her husband,
- 30:38Speaker 1: offering my support to him and his family. My heart
- 30:42Speaker 1: is broken for her husband, their son, and all who
- 30:46Speaker 1: knew and loved Helena. What a tragy. I was stunned, man,
- 30:51Speaker 1: because but they're gonna get to this though, because there's
- 30:57Speaker 1: no reason on a movie set to have live rounds
- 31:03Speaker 1: in a gun that's operable. They know how to make
- 31:08Speaker 1: everything in Hollywood. They can make the gun sound, the
- 31:12Speaker 1: gun flash, they can make the gun them real, bro,
- 31:16Speaker 1: they can do everything. Now, I don't know how this
- 31:20Speaker 1: man had a real gun with live rounds in it
- 31:25Speaker 1: on a movie set. Somebody got paid for this. Did
- 31:28Speaker 1: you just say, this can't just be an accident. This
- 31:32Speaker 1: man lost his wife and this little boy lost his mama.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what you say to me
- 31:38Speaker 1: about no accident. How was there a gun that functioned
- 31:42Speaker 1: on a movie set? Why? Yeah? Who handed the gun
- 31:48Speaker 1: to him? Who loaded the gun? She was twenty four
- 31:53Speaker 1: years old and they had some problems with this movie
- 31:55Speaker 1: early the people walked off the set. And this was
- 31:58Speaker 1: supposedly not a nine union worker. Who who they gave
- 32:02Speaker 1: the job to handle the ammunition? So I don't think
- 32:06Speaker 1: she was a weapons expert. That's some of the things
- 32:08Speaker 1: that they were talking about. But he did not know.
- 32:11Speaker 1: He did not know, like you said on a movie said,
- 32:14Speaker 1: there's no that you don't even you don't even need
- 32:16Speaker 1: a gun. They can put a gun in your hand
- 32:18Speaker 1: in post. That's just how good they are. Yeah, they don't.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Oh man, that makes no sense, right, no sense none
- 32:26Speaker 1: of the love. Right. That's heartbreaking. Yeah, it really is.
- 32:30Speaker 1: For her family, her husband, her son, God. Yeah, and
- 32:35Speaker 1: Alec bold One. I mean he's got to live with
- 32:37Speaker 1: the guilt of that, you know, killing. He was crying
- 32:40Speaker 1: and everything all shook up, and you know, rightly understandably,
- 32:44Speaker 1: we're gonna move on here in lighter news. Drum roll please,
- 32:48Speaker 1: we need a drum roll here, Steve, Congratulations to you
- 32:52Speaker 1: and Marjorie. Your youngest daughter. Laurie has officially become an
- 32:57Speaker 1: entrepreneur with a successful launch of her her skincare line
- 33:01Speaker 1: ask n by l H skin by l H. In
- 33:04Speaker 1: an article with Essence magazine, Laurie stated that after years
- 33:07Speaker 1: of experimenting with different products and the hopes of clearing
- 33:10Speaker 1: up blemishes without unnecessary irritation, she decided to launch her
- 33:14Speaker 1: own skincare line. We all love the social media post
- 33:18Speaker 1: of you and Marjorie Steve to promote it. That was
- 33:22Speaker 1: really cool. Everyone can go to Steve Harvey FM to
- 33:24Speaker 1: check out the picture of Stephen Marjorie. We know you've
- 33:27Speaker 1: got to be proud of her, Steve, really proud of her. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 1: she had a great event the other night. It was
- 33:34Speaker 1: it was really really good, very well done. You know,
- 33:37Speaker 1: we're proud of her. She's she's turning into to quite
- 33:41Speaker 1: a business person. Now, took her three years to do this,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and so she finally got it out. And I mean
- 33:48Speaker 1: when she told me, I did she's a dad in
- 33:50Speaker 1: six months, I'm about your baby. Hey, we're not going
- 33:53Speaker 1: to do this in six months. I'm gonna just tell
- 33:56Speaker 1: you right now, it's gonna take a little bit more.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Oh no, dad, bout six seven? Mostly be out? Okay? Cool?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Three years later it is out and that's it. But
- 34:06Speaker 1: that's business, that's life because and you know what I
- 34:11Speaker 1: try to tell people all the time, whatever your best plans,
- 34:14Speaker 1: are prepared for them not to go that way, because
- 34:18Speaker 1: it usually does it and that's what discourages most people
- 34:21Speaker 1: from finishing and seeing it through. But I'm very proud
- 34:24Speaker 1: of the fact that once she discovered that there was
- 34:27Speaker 1: going to be some setbacks and some some snags that
- 34:29Speaker 1: you can't count on, that she forced through and made
- 34:32Speaker 1: it happen anyway. And it was there. You know, it
- 34:35Speaker 1: was a great event. You know what was really cool though?
- 34:37Speaker 1: When I was there, you know what I really understood.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I am so glad. I don't go out no more.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Why I was there until it closed. It started at
- 34:50Speaker 1: eight and it ended at eleven. I was there until
- 34:53Speaker 1: about eleven fifteen. Then I had to get on the
- 34:56Speaker 1: plane and go to Atlanta because I had to work
- 34:58Speaker 1: this weekend, and oh, I was sitting there going, Wow,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I'm glad I don't do this no more. Your music
- 35:08Speaker 1: standing around you know, you know you're trying to pick somebody,
- 35:14Speaker 1: damn hoping somebody say somebody You trying to figure the
- 35:18Speaker 1: date out? Man, No mine old people. You don't remember.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I don't remember you. I don't know who I'm gonna
- 35:27Speaker 1: sleep with. I'm sleeping with Muhamma. That's what Let's go. Hell,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I ain't gotta figure this out, all right. Go to
- 35:36Speaker 1: s k n b y l H. That's s k
- 35:40Speaker 1: n b y l h and the products are excellent
- 35:45Speaker 1: sk n b y lh dot com skin by Lloyd Harvey.
- 35:50Speaker 1: But you don't spell skin, it's just sk b y
- 35:54Speaker 1: h dot com. All right, Thank you, Steve. Congratulations again.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Coming up, Jay Anthony Brown, we will look into his mind.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Oh lord, right after this you're listening to all right, Steve,
- 36:11Speaker 1: come on, introduce your friend. Let's look into that mind,
- 36:14Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, the darkness. I got a couple of
- 36:21Speaker 1: things I'm gonna go through. I want to thank all
- 36:22Speaker 1: the people who came out to the landa comedy did
- 36:25Speaker 1: this weekend. I forgot how damn funny I was. I mean,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I really forgot. I didn't know. I didn't know I
- 36:33Speaker 1: had that in me, Steve. Some people started a fire
- 36:37Speaker 1: in the back of the room. They broke up some
- 36:39Speaker 1: tables and started a fire. I was on fire this weekend.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Thank you. Uh. Second thing, I want to shout out
- 36:47Speaker 1: all my grandkids on the men who are into sports.
- 36:50Speaker 1: That would be Corey and Morgan, but especially my grandson
- 36:54Speaker 1: um um Brand um Brand Braden, who is the Carlton
- 36:58Speaker 1: Saints who ran a tough down sixty four yards. Boy,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you didn't get that from your granddaddy, but you did it. Yeah. None,
- 37:11Speaker 1: none of that is met, not at all, not sixty
- 37:18Speaker 1: four yards. And the last thing I'd like to talk about.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I told you about my daughter's wedding, But what I
- 37:23Speaker 1: did not tell you is that I went to the
- 37:26Speaker 1: wrong damn wedding. Now let me tell you what happened
- 37:29Speaker 1: to the right. Hold up, I left. I left two
- 37:34Speaker 1: hours early so I would be on time, and I
- 37:37Speaker 1: was on time. But the address that they sent me,
- 37:40Speaker 1: my other daughter sent me, was the wrong address. So
- 37:43Speaker 1: some people recognize me, say, mister Brown, we know where
- 37:47Speaker 1: the wedding is. And I'm like, okay, he said, follow us.
- 37:51Speaker 1: It was a wedding. I'm sitting in there. Decorated people
- 37:55Speaker 1: went there, but all these people were light skinned. I
- 37:59Speaker 1: mean the lightness of skin on both sides. That the
- 38:06Speaker 1: whole the whole place was a room full of light
- 38:11Speaker 1: skinned people. And I'm earning, I'm on time, and I'm
- 38:15Speaker 1: saying to myself, this cannot be the wind. Maybe this
- 38:20Speaker 1: is the room. But he dark it in me. I've
- 38:22Speaker 1: seen the room shot him dark it in me. This
- 38:25Speaker 1: can't be his people. So I'm seeing that, and in
- 38:29Speaker 1: the dude because of me, said who are you? I said,
- 38:31Speaker 1: I'm the father of the bride. Well, about three minutes
- 38:36Speaker 1: after that, another dude said who you say you was?
- 38:38Speaker 1: As another father to bride, he said, I'm the father
- 38:41Speaker 1: to bride. And the look on the dude's face to
- 38:45Speaker 1: find out that just ain't his damn daughter. I mean,
- 38:53Speaker 1: the man was crushed. Man. But we got a straight
- 38:58Speaker 1: I made it to the right when congratulations to my
- 39:01Speaker 1: daughter and Charlotte. It was a great waiting. I had
- 39:03Speaker 1: a great time. You ruining, yes, because you know we
- 39:14Speaker 1: do keep with another wedding though, all right, it's dark
- 39:20Speaker 1: up in there, is all right? Thank you, Jay. Coming
- 39:23Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 39:25Speaker 1: some trending headlines right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:29Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show. This is something that's definitely up
- 39:34Speaker 1: for debate. Check this out. As the teaching of critical
- 39:36Speaker 1: race theory continues to be a hot topic and education
- 39:39Speaker 1: right now, Former Secretary of State Condolisa Rice is one
- 39:43Speaker 1: of its opponents. During her recent appearance on The View,
- 39:47Speaker 1: Condolisa denounced the teaching of critical race theory theory, suggesting
- 39:51Speaker 1: that black children can be empowered without making white kids
- 39:55Speaker 1: feel bad. She pointed out, and she pointed to her
- 40:00Speaker 1: upbringing and segregated Birmingham, Alabama, saying while her parents didn't
- 40:04Speaker 1: believe she would live in a world without prejudice, they
- 40:07Speaker 1: empowered her to overcome it, and that's the message that
- 40:10Speaker 1: she believes needs to be taught. One of the worries
- 40:13Speaker 1: that I have about the way that we're talking about
- 40:16Speaker 1: race is that either it seems so big that somehow
- 40:19Speaker 1: white people will now have to feel guilty for everything
- 40:22Speaker 1: that happened in the past, Condelisa said. She said, I
- 40:25Speaker 1: don't think that's very productive. She continued, Black people have
- 40:29Speaker 1: felt disempowered by race. I would like black kids to
- 40:33Speaker 1: be completely empowered, to know that they are beautiful in
- 40:37Speaker 1: their blackness. But in order to do that, I don't
- 40:40Speaker 1: have to make white kids feel bad for being white. Somehow,
- 40:44Speaker 1: this is a conversation that is just going in the
- 40:47Speaker 1: wrong direction. So those are the words of former Secretary
- 40:52Speaker 1: of State Condelisa Rice on the view she's not for
- 40:55Speaker 1: critical race. Your definition of critical race theory has flaws
- 41:02Speaker 1: in it. Of course. First of all, who's trying to
- 41:05Speaker 1: make white kids feel guilty or bad about being white?
- 41:09Speaker 1: That's not what this is. But what we are trying
- 41:13Speaker 1: to do is teach the truth. Now, what you all
- 41:15Speaker 1: are trying to do in the Republican Party in Texas
- 41:18Speaker 1: and other places is you're trying to remove black history
- 41:22Speaker 1: from the books. Now, guilt ain't our fault. Guilt is
- 41:29Speaker 1: not our fault. The history of how this country was
- 41:32Speaker 1: made is the facts. This country was built on the
- 41:36Speaker 1: backs of black people. This country was taken off the
- 41:40Speaker 1: backs of Native Americans. The whole concept of America was stolen,
- 41:46Speaker 1: the whole Land Treaty thing. I forgot the name of
- 41:52Speaker 1: Louisiana purchase. That was one of the greatest hoaxes of
- 41:56Speaker 1: all time. So the way this country was famed from
- 42:01Speaker 1: the very beginning, you have to understand why we are
- 42:05Speaker 1: who we are, and then you build the country on
- 42:09Speaker 1: the backs of free labor. Of course you're gonna be
- 42:12Speaker 1: a great nation. My company would be great if everybody
- 42:16Speaker 1: worked for me, I didn't have to pay them. If
- 42:19Speaker 1: I got to keep all the money and I didn't
- 42:22Speaker 1: have to pay anybody that worked for me, do you
- 42:25Speaker 1: know how much? That would be greatness? But that's not
- 42:28Speaker 1: how this works. So the fact that Americans forefathers also
- 42:36Speaker 1: wrote a constitution, and if you look at the constitution
- 42:39Speaker 1: awhere it was originally written. Your faefathers tried to make
- 42:44Speaker 1: us three fifths of a human being. Your forefather said
- 42:47Speaker 1: women couldn't vote. This is all constitutional. Now that ain't us,
- 42:53Speaker 1: that's your faefathers. Now, the reason you feel guilt is
- 42:57Speaker 1: because of what your faefathers did. Thein't got nothing to
- 43:00Speaker 1: do with us. But when we remind you of what
- 43:03Speaker 1: they did, now you feel guilty. That ain't the black
- 43:06Speaker 1: kid's fault for making white kids feel bad. That's not
- 43:10Speaker 1: our fault. You should feel bad for what was done.
- 43:13Speaker 1: But the only way to correct the problem is to
- 43:16Speaker 1: admit that that is a problem. And the only way
- 43:19Speaker 1: to solve a problem is to fix the problem by
- 43:22Speaker 1: understanding the root of the problem. That's right, That's right.
- 43:28Speaker 1: You have been teaching the right history from the beginning.
- 43:31Speaker 1: We wouldn't be in this situation we are today. I mean,
- 43:34Speaker 1: we never heard anything about slavery. He knew about George
- 43:37Speaker 1: Washington cutting on damn cherry tree, but there ain't there
- 43:40Speaker 1: a damn thing about He had slaves clean it all up.
- 43:44Speaker 1: That one there that wasn't in there? Or which words
- 43:53Speaker 1: sounds worse to you that little white kids feel guilty
- 43:58Speaker 1: or black children are constantly denied the same opportunities and
- 44:03Speaker 1: writes as their white counterpart, Which one would you rather feel? Right? Right?
- 44:11Speaker 1: I'm just asking, Yeah, all right, make some good points there, sir.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Coming up next, Junior is in for the neph Year
- 44:20Speaker 1: with the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:23Speaker 1: to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 44:27Speaker 1: top of the hour, about four minutes after. It's my
- 44:29Speaker 1: Strawberry letter for today, the subject I was in the
- 44:32Speaker 1: closet the whole time. We'll get into that in just
- 44:37Speaker 1: a bit. It's not what you think. But right now
- 44:39Speaker 1: it is time for the prank. Phone call Junior. What
- 44:42Speaker 1: you got Okay, Shirley the plumber. The plumber is the
- 44:46Speaker 1: prank for today. The plumber Come on Kat Hello, Yeah,
- 44:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to retail y'all. Mister please missus. How you
- 44:56Speaker 1: doing you you're the person that does the plumbing work,
- 44:58Speaker 1: am I right? Yeah? Yeah? Nah, my wife got some
- 45:02Speaker 1: work done for you. You come by the house now,
- 45:04Speaker 1: do you know, I know you probably got quite a
- 45:07Speaker 1: bit of work. No, well, I do so many throughout
- 45:11Speaker 1: the day. So I have it on my receiver. I
- 45:14Speaker 1: can look at over Hill about three days ago. It
- 45:19Speaker 1: was yeah, yeah, yeah, I can recall was a lady there, Yeah,
- 45:24Speaker 1: it was a tarlet was backed up and was overflowing
- 45:28Speaker 1: and yeah yeah, yeah, I can recall that. Now something's
- 45:31Speaker 1: wrong with the sink in there too, and that that
- 45:34Speaker 1: had a leak in the back of it. Yeah, I
- 45:36Speaker 1: had a leak in the back and uh, and I've
- 45:37Speaker 1: done that. I fixed that there for you. And uh.
- 45:40Speaker 1: I took that toilet that I had around the bottom
- 45:43Speaker 1: of your base, the tilet base there. I had to
- 45:45Speaker 1: take that up and retape it to that tape head
- 45:48Speaker 1: came came loose. It was kind of older. And you know,
- 45:51Speaker 1: I went through that and done all that and saved
- 45:54Speaker 1: it up and sealed it up and and I rebased
- 45:56Speaker 1: that seal back there on your in the tarlet and
- 45:59Speaker 1: and your sink had little leak back there in the back.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I fixed that because you know, that was really easy there.
- 46:04Speaker 1: So well, no, see that's something that went wrong with
- 46:08Speaker 1: the tarlet. Did you did you put another pipe or something,
- 46:13Speaker 1: did you rewrite a pipe or anything? No? No, Like
- 46:16Speaker 1: I said, all I did. I took the base of
- 46:18Speaker 1: it off there, and I taped it up where that
- 46:21Speaker 1: old tape there, and then I'll put me some cement
- 46:24Speaker 1: which was with h with my pipe there, and and
- 46:28Speaker 1: I sealed it all up and I checked it out
- 46:30Speaker 1: that lady drive and see if it leaked, and it
- 46:32Speaker 1: didn't leak, and I put your base back on and
- 46:35Speaker 1: you know, and then then then you had a little
- 46:37Speaker 1: leak there in your seat and that was on the
- 46:40Speaker 1: top of the your nozzle there, and I fixed that.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you because I I'm gonna be honest
- 46:47Speaker 1: with you and tell you I'm not happy with what
- 46:49Speaker 1: I got. You're not happy with it. No, Now, let
- 46:52Speaker 1: me tell you what's happening. Now. Say somebody in the
- 46:56Speaker 1: bathroom and they flushed that tarlet right right when they
- 46:59Speaker 1: flushed that tarlet, come out the sink in the kitchen.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Oh Tim, that Tim, say that what you did again?
- 47:08Speaker 1: I said, when they flushed the tarlet in the bathroom right,
- 47:12Speaker 1: come out to shank in the kitchen. It come out
- 47:15Speaker 1: in the kitchen like that. I don't know what how
- 47:17Speaker 1: you routed something like you didn't You didn't miss routed
- 47:19Speaker 1: or something. No, I didn't. I didn't route anything. All
- 47:22Speaker 1: I did was fixed up and put the tape on there,
- 47:25Speaker 1: so I fixed the leak that was you know your
- 47:28Speaker 1: it's a base of your tarlet. I didn't reroute anything.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't understand. How can you
- 47:35Speaker 1: you reroute a fight? I don't. That's not to throw
- 47:38Speaker 1: into your kitchen and shoot, We'll shoot crap out of
- 47:42Speaker 1: your kitchen like that. I don't know what what what
- 47:45Speaker 1: you did when you was up onunder that, how you
- 47:47Speaker 1: rerouted something, But that's what happened, and it's got, it's got.
- 47:50Speaker 1: It's going from the from that bathroom when you flushed
- 47:53Speaker 1: that tarlet it come out in my sink in my kitchen. Now,
- 47:56Speaker 1: what's bad about it? This morning I'm in there cooking
- 48:00Speaker 1: and what's your name again? My name is? They called me? Okay,
- 48:05Speaker 1: and crap is coming out of your your forming in

- 48:29Speaker 1: I do. But what what did you have anybody else
- 48:33Speaker 1: over there working on your pipe? Ain't nobody you in
- 48:36Speaker 1: your kitchen know I did with your bathroom? You is
- 48:38Speaker 1: the room. The bathroom, don't have anything to do with
- 48:42Speaker 1: your kitchen. That's flo a pipe, have anything to do
- 48:45Speaker 1: with one of the others. Didn't explain that coming through
- 48:48Speaker 1: my sink and my kitchen. I can't explain it coming
- 48:52Speaker 1: from your your sink. I can only explain that's getting
- 48:55Speaker 1: the toilet in your sink. I have no idea. I'm
- 48:58Speaker 1: gonna listen because gotten me wrapped up. Listen now what
- 49:02Speaker 1: it is? It? Well, you got me kind of wrapped
- 49:04Speaker 1: up here because you know, like I said, I do

- 54:08Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is that time. It's
- 54:10Speaker 1: time for the Strawberry Letter. Well, my great friend Shirley
- 54:13Speaker 1: straw thank you, my friend junior. Subject. I was in
- 54:17Speaker 1: the closet the whole time. Do Stephen, Shirley. I'm twenty
- 54:21Speaker 1: eight years old and I've had the worst dating history
- 54:24Speaker 1: of all my friends. I was recently dating a guy
- 54:27Speaker 1: that told me he had a stalker and we had
- 54:30Speaker 1: to lay low for a while until she left him alone.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I understood why he might have a stalker because he
- 54:36Speaker 1: is fine and sexy with the ball head and a
- 54:39Speaker 1: full beard. He's thirty six years old, so I was
- 54:42Speaker 1: intrigued by dating an older man for the first time.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I had been to his home a few times and
- 54:48Speaker 1: it was very nice, so I asked him who helped
- 54:51Speaker 1: him decorate it. He said his mother used to be
- 54:54Speaker 1: an interior designer, so she helped him out. We primarily
- 54:58Speaker 1: spend time at my apartment, though, because his house was
- 55:01Speaker 1: way in the suburbs. All of these red flags were
- 55:04Speaker 1: popping up, but I overlooked them because I wanted this
- 55:07Speaker 1: to work out. I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Last weekend, we had planned to see Frankie Beverly and
- 55:14Speaker 1: Mazing concert and he had a car service picked me
- 55:17Speaker 1: up first and then and then pick him up. He
- 55:21Speaker 1: told me to come in so we could have a
- 55:23Speaker 1: drink before we left. We started fooling around and he
- 55:26Speaker 1: took me into one of the guest bedrooms, which I
- 55:29Speaker 1: thought was weird. As I got naked, I heard a
- 55:32Speaker 1: woman's voice. He picked me up, wrapped me in the sheets,
- 55:35Speaker 1: and put me in walk in closet and said he
- 55:38Speaker 1: thinks his stalker is in the house and I need
- 55:41Speaker 1: to stay in the closet and be quiet because she's crazy.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I could faintly hear him asking the woman to go
- 55:48Speaker 1: to the concert with him, and then silence. Fifteen minutes later,
- 55:53Speaker 1: he texted me and asked me to make up the
- 55:56Speaker 1: bed and get an uber and he'd explain things later.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Left the room a mess and I left. He had
- 56:02Speaker 1: been calling me NonStop. He's been calling me NonStop, but
- 56:05Speaker 1: I won't answer. And why did he force me in
- 56:08Speaker 1: the closet and leave? Should I hear him out or
- 56:10Speaker 1: keep ignoring him? No? What you should do right now
- 56:14Speaker 1: is run, run, run run. Okay, there's nothing to explain.
- 56:19Speaker 1: What can he explain? I mean, your red flags were right,
- 56:22Speaker 1: they were real, and since you chose to ignore them
- 56:25Speaker 1: because you said you wanted to work it out. You
- 56:27Speaker 1: wanted this to work out with this guy. God did
- 56:31Speaker 1: you a favor and allowed that to happen. Okay, it
- 56:34Speaker 1: was either his wife or his girlfriend, his living girlfriend
- 56:37Speaker 1: in the house, and that's all you need to know.
- 56:39Speaker 1: What else do you need to know? I can't believe
- 56:41Speaker 1: how stupid and reckless he was to put you in
- 56:44Speaker 1: harm's way like that. His stalker was in the house.
- 56:49Speaker 1: But then again, I can because he sounds selfish and
- 56:52Speaker 1: he sounds like a liar. Anyway, the best thing that
- 56:55Speaker 1: could have happened to you was was him leaving you
- 56:59Speaker 1: in that closet. So please let him call all day
- 57:03Speaker 1: and night, but don't answer that phone, because what can
- 57:06Speaker 1: he say? How can he explain what he did? He
- 57:09Speaker 1: can't explain that that, there's nothing he can say. Block
- 57:13Speaker 1: him right now, Block him and move on with your life.
- 57:16Speaker 1: And please learn from this experience the next time your
- 57:20Speaker 1: gut starts putting up red flags. Okay, listen, listen, Linda,
- 57:24Speaker 1: listen Steven. This is the way to who are we
- 57:29Speaker 1: talking to in this letter. I'm so confused because you're
- 57:34Speaker 1: asking questions of Shirley and I that are so damn obvious. Yeah,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I don't even understand why you need it. When you
- 57:43Speaker 1: wrote the letter, did you read it back? You didn't
- 57:46Speaker 1: answer none of these questions yourself. I was in the
- 57:50Speaker 1: closet the whole time. What now you twenty eight years
- 57:55Speaker 1: old single, I've had the worst dating history of all
- 57:59Speaker 1: my free Well, let me tell you why. Based on
- 58:03Speaker 1: this letter right here, I think the reason you've had
- 58:05Speaker 1: the worst dating experience of all your friends. It is
- 58:07Speaker 1: because you're slow. You're a slow young lady. You're just slow.
- 58:13Speaker 1: You really want to use that word. No, that's the
- 58:15Speaker 1: word I want to use. You're just slow. I'm just
- 58:18Speaker 1: saying that you're you're You're you're slow to come to
- 58:22Speaker 1: terms with things. You're slow to figure it out. You're
- 58:26Speaker 1: you're you're slow to get the point. You're you you're
- 58:30Speaker 1: you're slow to come to conclusions. I don't mean like
- 58:34Speaker 1: slow in any other way, except you're slow to come
- 58:39Speaker 1: to conclusions. It takes you too long to figure out
- 58:43Speaker 1: the obvious. You need to become a quicker person. You're
- 58:48Speaker 1: too damn slow. Good, I mean, so look at that.
- 58:52Speaker 1: That's why you have the worst day in experience. I
- 58:54Speaker 1: reasonally dating the guy that told me he had a stalker. Okay,
- 58:57Speaker 1: let's keep this in mind now. And we had to
- 59:00Speaker 1: lay low for a while until she left him alone.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Where so we just met and we got to lay
- 59:10Speaker 1: low for a while until she leaves him alone. Okay,
- 59:16Speaker 1: then won't we do this right here when you get
- 59:19Speaker 1: rid of the stalker and the coast is clear, so
- 59:22Speaker 1: I don't get myself in a dangerous situation. Why don't
- 59:25Speaker 1: you get that figured out and then call me after
- 59:28Speaker 1: you got to restraining orders and everything from the police department.
- 59:32Speaker 1: But oh no, you slow to come to that. I
- 59:37Speaker 1: came to it right after I read the letter. Shirley
- 59:39Speaker 1: came to it. Everybody listening and came to it. But
- 59:41Speaker 1: you slow. So now y'all gonna lay low for a while.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I understood why he might have a stalker because he
- 59:48Speaker 1: finds sexy with a ball head and the full bid.
- 59:50Speaker 1: That's why you got a stalker. That's that's what you
- 59:54Speaker 1: came to You got a stalker because you baal head
- 59:58Speaker 1: and you find that you understand do it that? Okay?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: What how did you come to understand that? Just because
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: he got a ball head and he fired, he fired
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: too to you. Obviously the stalker don't feel that way
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: because the stalker trying to kill him. So hold on, Steve,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: hold on. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Subject I was in the closet the whole time. We'll
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: and the subject is I was in the closet the
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: whole time. This is such a sad because you know,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the subject is, I was in the closet the whole time.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: And when I said earlier, and I explained myself what
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I mean by saying she's slow, I'm saying that she
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: is slow to come to conclusions. She's slow to reach
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: certain points of understanding. The girl is just slow to this.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And the rest of us is reading this letter, we're
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: getting it right away. Yeah, but it's happening to Huns.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: She's slow to all of this. So now she's twenty
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: eight years old, got the worst dating history of all
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: my friends. I think it's because she's slow. I was
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: recently dating the guy that told me he had a
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: stalker and we had to laylow for a while until
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: she left him alone. Okay, cool, First things first, get
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: rid of your stalking. Called me, so you don't put
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: me in an uncompromising position. Let me know when everything
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: is clear, when you got the police, you know, restraining
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: order and everything you need from the courts, or she
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: get arrested or something. They called me. Okay, cool, but
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you ain't do that because you understood why he might
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: have a stalker because he finding sexy with a ball
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: head and a full bid. That's it. So if you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: ball hit it fine, sexy and got a full bid,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you're gonna have stalkers, that's all. No, no, no, you're
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: gonna have a stalker. So now he's thirty six years old.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: So I was intrigued by dating an older man for
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: the first time. You twenty eight, That is six. Ain't
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: no older man. That's eight years. Oh my god, you're
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: not only slow. You can't do a rhythmatic. It's eight years.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Little girl, that ain't an older man. That ain't even ten.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You're frustrated. You just sigh. Now listen to this. Now,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I had been to his home a few times and
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: it was very nice. Wait a minute, I thought he
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: just told you we're gonna have to lay low for
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a while. But na, na, No, you hadn't been to
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: his home a few times and it was very nice.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So I asked him who helped him decorate it. He
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: said his mother used to being interior designer, so she
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: helped him out. That sounds good. That's okay. I ain't
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: tripping on that. We primarily spend time at my apartment though,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: because his house was way in the suburbs. Okay, so
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: your house is where. If his house is way in
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: the suburbs, your house is where. So obviously this was
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: like too long of a drive for y'all. I would
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: go on and take the time for the nice house
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: long drive. We can talk, get to know each other.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: But oh that's right, y'all can't be seen together because
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: y'all got to lay low because he got a stalker.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Then she says, all these red flags were popping up,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: but I overlooked them because I wanted this to work out.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: A lady came on my show one time and said
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the best line I heard about red flags. She said, ladies,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: stop collecting red flags. Stop collecting him. See, y'all, red
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: flags pop up, go the other way, stop collecting them.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: But you know why she was collecting them, because she
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: wanted this to work out. I gave him the benefit
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: of the doubt, the benefit of the doubt. Last weekend
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: we had planned to see Frankie beverly mazing concept and
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: he had a concept. Is picked me up first and
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: then picked him up. No problem with that. He told
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: me to come in so we could have a drink
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: before we left. We started fooling around and he took
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: me into one of the guest bedrooms, which I thought
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: was weird. But you took your ass in there anyway.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: See not it was weird. See you're a little slow,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: but let me tell you how how quick you get
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: over stuck? As I got naked, he told me to
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: come in so we could have a drink. We started
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: fooling around, and he took me into one of the
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: guest bedrooms, which I thought was weird. So as I
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: got naked, and that weird got you got real good,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: real fast, this weird bedroom down the hallway. Let me
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: gonna get the clothes off or I figured this out.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: As I got naked, I heard a woman's voice. He
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: picked me up, wrapped me in the sheets, and put
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: me in a walk in closet and says he thinks
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: his stalker is in the house and I need to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: stand the closet and be quiet because she crazy. What
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: what Wait a minute, you got naked, you're here, woman's voice.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: He picked you up, wrap you in the sheet, the
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: sheets like, walk your slow ass to the closet. You
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: stand there, moneyfied yea wrapped up tight, probably wrapped your
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: mouth for up too, so you couldn't say nothing. Now
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you're in there looking like a full blown mummy in
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: a tune, and you hear woman's boy, he told you
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: be quiet because she crazy. Right after he said that,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I could faintly hear him asking the woman to go
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to the concert with him, and then silence, Bull takes
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: a stalker to see Frankie Beblin. You know how hard
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: it is to enjoy a show and somebody standing next
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: to you trying to kill you. I can't believe this.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I took a murderer with me to the concert. And
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: he starts his concert with we all want Yeah, I
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: got to come back and give you just my last
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: piece of this right here, cause you know it's a
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: lot of slow people listening. All right. We'll be back
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: with part three of the Strawberry Letter for today at
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: forty six minutes half. You're right after this. You're listening,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: all right, because this letter is so crazy Steve had
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to do in part three, I'm gonna just go over
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: this real quick. This woman that don't know how to
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: figure stuff out, the metis man that they started dating.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: She twenty eight thirty six, told him we got lailo
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: because I got stalking. Okay, So NAT went out to
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: his house and he got real nice house. She asked
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: me how he decorated how he told her He told
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: her my mama was a decorating. She helped him. But
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: his house way out in the suburbs. So we spent
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: all the time at my apartment because don't nobody want
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: to drive nowhere to know nice house. We just rather
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: stay over in the hood and do our business, you know.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: And so now, okay, so now he invited you to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: go to Frankie Beverley concert and he had a cost
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: service pick you up. He told me come in, so
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: we have a drink and we started fooling around, and
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: then he took me to one of the guest bed rooms,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: which I thought was weird, you know. But then as
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I got naked, but because she gets over the star
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: real fans in this let yos just oh this weird.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Let me take these clothes off. And so she took
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: her clothes off. I heard a woman's voice. He picked
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: me up, wrapped me in the sheets and put me
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: in the walk in close and said he thinks his
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: stalker is in the house, and I need to stand
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: in close and be quiet because she crazed. All right, now,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: now you you mummified, you wrapped up real tight, and
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: he didn't wrapped your mouth, your head up, you and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: that can't do numbers. See he left the mit slit
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: so you can see. That's all it was. And then
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you could faintly hear him asking the woman to go
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: to the concert with him, and then silence. So you
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: telling me that the stalker then broke in, and his
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: way to calm the craziest stalker down is to invite
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: her to Frankie Bevt Maze once again. Do you know
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: how hard it is to enjoy a concert next to
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: somebody trying to kill you? That is, that's some hard
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: ass partying right there. I didn't. I ain't. I hadn't
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: been at a party in a shot rang out. Then
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: he messed me. I didn't. I didn't take the murderer
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: with me, and so then that was silence. And then
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: fifteen minutes later he texted me and asked me to
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: make up the bed and get in the uber and
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: he'd explain things later. I left the room a mess.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: I know that's right. Good, you better show him and
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I left. He's been calling me NonStop, but I won't answer.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Why did he force me in the closet and leave?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question, why you thank he
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: forced you in that closet closet and then leave? Well,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: let me just take a look at it, how you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: would look at him? Because he didn't want you to
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: get attacked by the stalker that he was fitting to
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: take to the concert with the ticket that he bought
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: for you and him, so they don't need to waste
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: in this damn ticket. Let me catch his stalker down
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: here live in his nice hands out who damn something?
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Because it's his wife? Instagram and Steve Yes, God quick day,

- 1:16:39Speaker 1: the comedians. Would you rather be the funniest person in

- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I'm I got a start love it, all right? Yeah,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: yeah I would. I'd rather be the funniest person in
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: the room because I'm not gonna be a genius, you know, yes, okay,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: all right, and I would I am. I'd rather be
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the funniest because I'm not that damn smart anyway, So
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: if I could increase my funniness, I'll be all right.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: And what people don't understand comedians are really most of
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: them for the most part, I'm pretty smart. We're not stupid.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: We know a little bit about everything. So I'd rather
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: be the funniest than the smartest. Okay, all right, because
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I could shut the smartest down. I got something for
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: his ass. He'd be saying something. Well, you know, Steve does, Yeah,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Steve got something, all right, right, all right? So would
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: you rather go vegan for a month or only eat

- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna be vegan because at least I'm healthy. All
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Just me meat and dairy for a month for a
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: whole month, or you do you know how backed up
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you will be if you just had milk and meat
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: in your systems for cheese, cheese, straight cheese? What new
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: call sign? But Steve, you got some people listening right
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: now like, oh that's what I eat right now. Oh
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: that's wrong. I'm with you. I'm vegan for a month.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: All right. Here's one. Here's one, guys, would you rather
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: rustle naked in a pool of jello? Or would you
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: rather rustle naked in a pool of chocolate pudding? Which
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: one can answer? I've done both and it's not it's
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: not one. Yeah, and you think it is many yea,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I might say same thing. I did both of these.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Bath after you gonna be a minute getting that jelly
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: off that ball, come up with a rock? All right,

- 1:20:07Speaker 1: we have. And so I'm trying to show something. I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: want everybody to go to GQ dot com slash Steve
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Harvey's style. Go to GQ dot com because they don't

- 1:24:28Speaker 1: it's really not a story, but the whole Yeah, the
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: whole thing was people are talking about my new style,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: but you know, the only thing that's different is I
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: reverted back to the way I used to dress. Of course,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I have a different fit now, and I have to
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: credit a lot of this to the stylist, Ellie, and
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the way I met Ellie. Actually, Marjorie hired him when
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: he came over here from a court of art in Paris.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: He was friends with Laurie and Winton, you know, even
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: though he's a few years older than them, but he
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: was the only they were the only ones that you know,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: accepted him when he first came over, and so he
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: became friends with them. I've seen him come to the
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: house for years, you know, and he was always drawing
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: and sketching and talking about fairs and everything. I didn't
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: really pay no attention, you know. And then when a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: couple of years ago in Africa, we bought him over
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: to help out, and the story came out and we
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: started talking and then Marge said, we're gonna hire me,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: so we did, and the first thing he came to
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: me was he said, we got to change your fit.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: And like I thought, I'd already slim my suits down,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: he said, noah, man, he said, used to, you know,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: lose weight and try this new fit. And he said,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: but what what what what would you do different? I said,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: the only thing I want back in my life is Colors,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: because I had given up Colors to be a talk
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: show in a game show host, right, And I just
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: be honest with you. I was just bored with it.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: And I said, hey, man, I want to go back
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: to color. And he said, would you be willing to
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: try different styles? And I said, of course, man, I'm
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: moping to it. I just don't want no damn jeans.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: And so the jeans suit you saw me in the
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: only way we got that's because he I put it
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: in a suit that was it. And other than that,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: you're not giving me just no damn jeans. I made
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: jeans suit. But all of it is really this kid,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Ellie Corombo's really really talented young man. And that's man,
