- 0:13Speaker 1: them like theming bu things and it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good Steve Hartley Joy, you gotta use that turn hur
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out, turning, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out, then turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, huh. I show will a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice? Come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Y'all do took of me what I said? But I
- 2:15Speaker 1: do like I say always. It just is a constant
- 2:19Speaker 1: reminder of how good God has been. So my question
- 2:23Speaker 1: to you is what's stopping you from having the life
- 2:27Speaker 1: that you want? What's stopping you from having the life
- 2:31Speaker 1: that you want? I know a lot of people who
- 2:36Speaker 1: have given up on achieving the life of their dreams,
- 2:40Speaker 1: but I know they'd still want them if they could
- 2:44Speaker 1: get to them. But they just allowed to settle for
- 2:47Speaker 1: so many reasons. So who I'm talking to is you today?
- 2:53Speaker 1: What's really at the core of stopping you? What is that?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Is it your friends or your souls? Is it the
- 3:01Speaker 1: fear of what you think somebody else will think of
- 3:04Speaker 1: you if you decide to change. Is it what I
- 3:07Speaker 1: used to call the call of the while? Is it
- 3:10Speaker 1: the fact that you keep thinking that the thing that
- 3:13Speaker 1: you're doing that's providing you these momentary moments of pleasure
- 3:18Speaker 1: that really ain't really good or healthy for you, You
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't want to stop doing that because you've got just
- 3:24Speaker 1: a little bit more something else you want to do.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I call that the call at a while. You know,
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's just out there. Them streets is calling you, Them
- 3:31Speaker 1: lights is calling you. You know, them girls is calling you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Them guys that's on the wrong side keep calling you.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 3:44Speaker 1: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 3:46Speaker 1: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 3:54Speaker 1: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 3:57Speaker 1: the end of the date, here's the real ill. See,
- 4:01Speaker 1: God is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: God wants to vary best for all of us. That's
- 4:10Speaker 1: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 4:13Speaker 1: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something
- 4:20Speaker 1: your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 4:23Speaker 1: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 4:26Speaker 1: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 4:30Speaker 1: wide range of reasons and misery love company. So usually
- 4:34Speaker 1: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 4:37Speaker 1: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 4:41Speaker 1: going to church. You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 4:43Speaker 1: really want you to go to church. You know your
- 4:46Speaker 1: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 4:50Speaker 1: as a solution to you. You know, your friends don't
- 4:54Speaker 1: really really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 4:58Speaker 1: people would treat you better or so what's that? So
- 5:02Speaker 1: your friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: to peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 5:08Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 5:11Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 5:14Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 5:19Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 5:22Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 5:25Speaker 1: went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 5:30Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would have had I
- 5:33Speaker 1: listened to the people around me who clearly told me
- 5:37Speaker 1: when I quit my job to pursue this, boy, don't
- 5:40Speaker 1: you quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't
- 5:42Speaker 1: you do this. You ain't got no bit dad, ain't
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job, Go
- 5:48Speaker 1: down here and whet your brothers go to work over here.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I heard all of that. I didn't let that stop
- 5:55Speaker 1: me from pursuing this. Why would you allow that to
- 5:58Speaker 1: stop you from pursuing your relationship with God so you
- 6:01Speaker 1: can have the best life you could possibly have. You
- 6:04Speaker 1: gang bang because they've convinced you that this is the
- 6:07Speaker 1: family situation and love that you don't have, and they've
- 6:11Speaker 1: convinced you that this is your only way, your only
- 6:15Speaker 1: source of getting over And then you drum up these
- 6:19Speaker 1: ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they sound
- 6:23Speaker 1: so good when you're listening to everybody else you're surrounded
- 6:26Speaker 1: by telling you why we gang banging while we're holding
- 6:30Speaker 1: this blockdown? Why we slanging this thing here? Right here.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right. You already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wile, that
- 6:47Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:51Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept a way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further they progress. To even prove that you worthy
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of crime to even prove that you're worthy to be
- 7:02Speaker 1: around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:05Speaker 1: what happens to that where your family had? Now they
- 7:08Speaker 1: don't come down there to see you because guess what,
- 7:11Speaker 1: they can't turn an idea to death at a law
- 7:14Speaker 1: enforcements center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 7:19Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Then you learn that what is it to stopping you
- 7:25Speaker 1: from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 7:29Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 7:33Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:42Speaker 1: God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself. Why would
- 7:46Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: in there. And then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:00Speaker 1: silly little friends try to make you think that's a
- 8:02Speaker 1: badge of honor. Therein't no badge of honor. Man, that's
- 8:05Speaker 1: one mode. What's one more scratch on that record, That's
- 8:09Speaker 1: one mold, That's one more nail in that coffin. That's
- 8:12Speaker 1: one step closer to that third strike where you ain't
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to that graveyard.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You keep on. Why would you not give God a try?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Why would you not go and see what your life
- 8:25Speaker 1: could really be? What is it that's stopping you? Because see,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I got news for you. There's nothing like waking up free.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. There's nothing like waking
- 8:37Speaker 1: up with the joy in your heart. Now, if you
- 8:40Speaker 1: ain't gonna be free, get the joy in your heart,
- 8:43Speaker 1: the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something with your life.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Help somebody behind them bars, get in the program, show
- 8:50Speaker 1: these young cats when they come in a better way.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But don't you dare sit there man and just ride
- 8:56Speaker 1: it out, and man, just go and get the fullest
- 9:00Speaker 1: life that you can have. What you know what it
- 9:03Speaker 1: feels like to wake up and be on your way somewhere,
- 9:06Speaker 1: knowing that you have something to accomplish, that you can
- 9:09Speaker 1: change somebody, that you can stop somebody from going down
- 9:11Speaker 1: the roads you went down. It's a whole lot of
- 9:14Speaker 1: ways to make your life better. But why would you
- 9:16Speaker 1: not go and have the best life you can have?
- 9:18Speaker 1: What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really? So you
- 9:24Speaker 1: think that Satan really has your best interests at heart.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That Dela thing your mama kept telling you about praying,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know, it
- 9:32Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to get back to that. It
- 9:35Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to turn around, It ain't ever
- 9:38Speaker 1: too late to get your life together, it ain't ever
- 9:40Speaker 1: too late to seek God, and it ain't ever too
- 9:43Speaker 1: late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 9:47Speaker 1: to pray, and don't be too proud to pray, because
- 9:50Speaker 1: prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. I'm a witness
- 9:55Speaker 1: to that. Ladies and gentlemen, let me have it. I'm
- 10:03Speaker 1: talking about that thing called attention. A matter of fact,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the way I want that attention is in the undivided.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I want it undivided. You know what that means. Don't
- 10:14Speaker 1: split it up, don't have some of it going over
- 10:17Speaker 1: hell and the other going over there. I want your
- 10:20Speaker 1: undivided attention. Do I have it? Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:25Speaker 1: The reason I ask for is to give you this
- 10:28Speaker 1: information that the damn Steve Harvey Morning Show is now

- 11:20Speaker 1: the forehead the size of a dinner plate, straight out
- 11:24Speaker 1: of Mississippi, with enough room on her forehead to put
- 11:30Speaker 1: the state on it four times, Mississippi, Misissippi, Missippi, Mississippi
- 11:34Speaker 1: spelled out in all of the damn letters Mississippi Monica,

- 12:02Speaker 1: take my picture and somebody gonna see it, I don't
- 12:09Speaker 1: like posing for five likes, she stopped. She's way more
- 12:16Speaker 1: followers than that. She actually got a cute little Instagram page.
- 12:20Speaker 1: People telling me, y'all to do more like your staff
- 12:22Speaker 1: dude calling him be putting up personal stuff on that,
- 12:26Speaker 1: but I don't like it anyway, how y'all. Lips By

- 12:37Speaker 1: on at My Girl Shirley and then it's at the

- 12:46Speaker 1: I know stuff, y'all. Y'all think I don't be paying attention. Yeah, Well,
- 12:53Speaker 1: Junior kind of hurt me those day because he opened up.
- 12:56Speaker 1: He was doing a live I G Live and he
- 12:59Speaker 1: was deprest and I thought he was having a crisis.
- 13:02Speaker 1: So I cut it off. I was a present. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: you gotta look at it all. You know why was
- 13:08Speaker 1: on that back porch on vacation. It wasn't. That was
- 13:13Speaker 1: a bad point. That was a backroom top sack. You
- 13:17Speaker 1: know what. You know what man need right here. Told
- 13:24Speaker 1: me to get the nail, backroom back forward, Get him, Junior,

- 13:34Speaker 1: come back, you give your Instagram to coming up at
- 13:36Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the crazy CLO.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to morning show. All right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time now for asked the CLO Chief Love
- 13:49Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey. But before we get into that, um, Junior,
- 13:53Speaker 1: can you give your Instagram your social media information? Please?
- 13:57Speaker 1: At Junior shm miss ju n I man, no, man,
- 14:02Speaker 1: my uncle he told me to go. He always told man,
- 14:04Speaker 1: go out, to leave your best like you work hard,
- 14:06Speaker 1: go enjoy it. Did didn't he do? See me? He
- 14:08Speaker 1: enjoyed my life. I'm on the damn backboard. Can't You're
- 14:11Speaker 1: depressed and I'm depressed. Well, I thought you was at
- 14:15Speaker 1: your honest house. None of that was true. Tops or
- 14:22Speaker 1: some trees look like forgot you forgot right all right
- 14:29Speaker 1: here we go, Celo. This one is from Keyana in Hampton, Virginia.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Keyana writes time in graduate school and for the past year,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I've been having sex with an underclassman. I'm twenty six
- 14:41Speaker 1: and he's nineteen. He wants to be my boyfriend and
- 14:44Speaker 1: said he's going to marry me one day. He's exactly
- 14:47Speaker 1: the type of man I want to marry, but I
- 14:50Speaker 1: can't get past the age difference. I feel like I'm
- 14:53Speaker 1: robbing the cradle. I broke it up, was broke it
- 14:55Speaker 1: off with him earlier this year, and he almost flunked
- 14:58Speaker 1: most of his classes. So I believe him when he
- 15:01Speaker 1: says he loves me. It's age that big of a
- 15:04Speaker 1: deal when you think you love someone, please help Well, uh,
- 15:08Speaker 1: if it's a deal, if you want it to be
- 15:10Speaker 1: a deal, it's also a deal if you make it
- 15:13Speaker 1: a deal. And here's a deal. This is for sure.
- 15:17Speaker 1: If he stays alive, he won't always be nineteen. That's
- 15:22Speaker 1: for shal So. And now with that being said, yeah
- 15:27Speaker 1: you yeah, you rob Craiger. He's down in nineteen. He's
- 15:29Speaker 1: a real freshman everything. You put some of that senior
- 15:33Speaker 1: citizen thing on him and he well, you know, to
- 15:38Speaker 1: hit him. You know, that's an older woman. Now he's
- 15:40Speaker 1: flogging out of school because he either he didn't got
- 15:43Speaker 1: it or ain't getting it no more. But either way,
- 15:45Speaker 1: he'd flogging out of school. So when you know, yeah, union,
- 15:51Speaker 1: but no, I don't think you have to be worried
- 15:56Speaker 1: about that. You know, if he's a good guy, he's
- 15:59Speaker 1: a good guy. You know, go forward, you know, all right,
- 16:03Speaker 1: But when you take him to your daddy, Oh, he
- 16:05Speaker 1: gonna be a little different. All right, We're moving on
- 16:09Speaker 1: Michelle and Tampa, says. My fifty nine year old mother
- 16:13Speaker 1: recently got a citation for indecent exposure because she was
- 16:17Speaker 1: trying to have sex in her car. She told me
- 16:20Speaker 1: that it's my fault she was in the car having
- 16:23Speaker 1: sex because she has no privacy at home. I moved
- 16:26Speaker 1: in with her during the pandemic after I lost my job.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Her apartment is small and the walls are thin, so
- 16:33Speaker 1: I suggested that she'd go have sex at her sorry
- 16:36Speaker 1: boyfriend's house next time. She cursed me out and told
- 16:39Speaker 1: me to be out of her house by next month.
- 16:41Speaker 1: How can I fix this mess? What? Well, First of all,
- 16:46Speaker 1: you told your mother to go have sex at her
- 16:51Speaker 1: sorry boyfriend's house. When you in her house, Come on, man,
- 16:58Speaker 1: you stoopid. You ain't got no help, you know you
- 17:04Speaker 1: you can. You completely out of line. So now she
- 17:08Speaker 1: won't you out because she would be having sex in
- 17:12Speaker 1: her house. But she tried to be decent to you,
- 17:16Speaker 1: so you wouldn't hear the thing. Wall she in the car.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Now she got a ticket, and it is to me
- 17:21Speaker 1: it is your fault. It ain't really your fault because
- 17:24Speaker 1: she still didn't have to be in the car get busted.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But you ain't got no right to tell her go
- 17:29Speaker 1: over your side boyfriend house. The sovereign person is the
- 17:33Speaker 1: one that's living in their mama house. What that ticket? Car?
- 17:38Speaker 1: What is that? I ain't before I've been in the car.
- 17:43Speaker 1: But the police, well I did get busted one time
- 17:47Speaker 1: when I was young in the car, but when the
- 17:50Speaker 1: police came up, I had time to get it together
- 17:53Speaker 1: because I had naema on the windows? What does nick do?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Break that down up? What does that do? You just
- 18:06Speaker 1: can't see any wonder? You got the cold cream on
- 18:08Speaker 1: the Oh okay, oh, I gotta try that. See listen
- 18:16Speaker 1: to and then if you put cold cream on old windows,
- 18:20Speaker 1: the other windows fall up way quicker, m oh, I'm
- 18:26Speaker 1: doing that. You might not stay, but you should have
- 18:32Speaker 1: got the degree. O you y'all y'all being how y'all
- 18:37Speaker 1: don't know these things I ain't never had. I ain't
- 18:40Speaker 1: never heard of a Yeah, well, I know all you
- 18:46Speaker 1: gotta do is all you gotta do it be uneducated.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Here we go, moving on, Veronica, you gotta learn some here.
- 19:01Speaker 1: So I learned everything they didn't teach in school, So
- 19:04Speaker 1: I saince I wasn't picking up nothing in school. I
- 19:06Speaker 1: learned everything else that wasn't taught at the school. Degree. Welcome.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna do a book on little things you
- 19:17Speaker 1: should have learned instead of can your ass down after
- 19:20Speaker 1: that school listening? Yes, please don't say that. All right,
- 19:29Speaker 1: Here we go Veronica, and Augusta says, I'm twenty seven
- 19:32Speaker 1: years old and I live with my twenty five year
- 19:34Speaker 1: old boyfriend. After some trials and tribulations in our relationship,
- 19:38Speaker 1: he said we should have an open relationship. I told
- 19:41Speaker 1: him we should just break up because he can't stand
- 19:43Speaker 1: it when I see other guys or if I stay
- 19:46Speaker 1: out all night. I love him and I would love
- 19:48Speaker 1: to be monogamous with him. But as long as he's
- 19:51Speaker 1: seeing other people, I will too. What is the benefit
- 19:55Speaker 1: of having an open relationship? Should I dump him? Ain't
- 19:58Speaker 1: no benefit. It's to be fit to both of y'all.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Y'all can see what y'all want to see, and you
- 20:03Speaker 1: can see whoever you want to see. That's the benefit
- 20:06Speaker 1: of an open relationship, which ain't much of a relationship
- 20:11Speaker 1: except y'all know each other doing eat other people and
- 20:14Speaker 1: y'all doing each other. That's all it is. That's the benefit.
- 20:18Speaker 1: In a nutshell, you know, he mad because you he
- 20:21Speaker 1: don't want you going out with nobody and staying out
- 20:23Speaker 1: all night, and you want him all to yourself. Both
- 20:28Speaker 1: of y'all ignorant. So should she dump him? Dum? What
- 20:35Speaker 1: you gotta dump before? You're doing what you want to
- 20:37Speaker 1: do and he doing what he want to do. When
- 20:39Speaker 1: you dump him, what's gonna happen? Maybe she'll find someone
- 20:43Speaker 1: that wants some anogamous relationship, but we gotta go. She
- 20:47Speaker 1: can go do that now, all right? All right? Thanks
- 20:52Speaker 1: thanks Clo. Coming up next to the nephew with run
- 20:55Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening show coming
- 21:01Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Miss Anne is
- 21:03Speaker 1: here with today's national news. Also an entertainment news fifty
- 21:07Speaker 1: cent uses Michael K. William's death to promote his TV
- 21:10Speaker 1: show and his liquor brand. Uh yeah, yes, tasteful taste. Listen. Yeah.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Also another entertainment news, our radio brother big Boy, Big
- 21:24Speaker 1: Boy got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
- 21:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about stories, yeah, at the top of the hour.
- 21:30Speaker 1: But right now, the nephew is here to make this laugh.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Would run that frank back? What you got nat all right?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Turn to your neighbor and say, neighbor, it is pranking time,
- 21:42Speaker 1: all right. And the title is the preachers Wife. Amen, la, Amen, Amen,
- 21:53Speaker 1: Amen again one more time. Amen, there might be one today.
- 22:00Speaker 1: If you don't start, let's go care. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 22:06Speaker 1: trying to reach a sister Angela, Sister Angela, please, how
- 22:11Speaker 1: you doing. My name is Brother Clayton. I'm calling you
- 22:14Speaker 1: from our greatest Baptist Church. How are you doing this morning? Oh?
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, listen, I know that your husband,
- 22:23Speaker 1: Reverend Jonathan, is actually one of the candidates that we
- 22:27Speaker 1: may be choosing to be our pastor since our past
- 22:30Speaker 1: pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes, I'm very proud
- 22:35Speaker 1: of my husband. I think you'll make a very good candidate.
- 22:37Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, here at the church, we've
- 22:39Speaker 1: been asking a lot of the deacons and assistant ministers
- 22:45Speaker 1: here have been asking different questions, different things that they
- 22:49Speaker 1: would be doing once they became pastor, you know, like
- 22:51Speaker 1: your first one hundred days. What would you try and
- 22:54Speaker 1: change here at the church or try and make better?
- 22:56Speaker 1: So to speak? Yet, but but what my husband, he's
- 22:59Speaker 1: not here right now. Did you need to speak to him? No,
- 23:01Speaker 1: not right now. What we decided to do, Uh, sus
- 23:04Speaker 1: Angela is actually called the wives and ask them a
- 23:08Speaker 1: few questions. Oh, okay, that's a little different though, sure,
- 23:12Speaker 1: And we don't we don't want to take up too
- 23:14Speaker 1: much of your time. You know. A lot of times, Uh,
- 23:17Speaker 1: if a pastor is stressed at home, nine times out
- 23:21Speaker 1: of ten, he's likely to be stressed at the church.
- 23:25Speaker 1: So I guess, my, my, My biggest question to you
- 23:28Speaker 1: is is your husband stressed at home? Uh? No, not
- 23:34Speaker 1: that I know of. He eats regularly, he's on a
- 23:37Speaker 1: good diet. You know, he gets goes to the doctor regularly.
- 23:41Speaker 1: He gets his physical um pretty good at home. I
- 23:45Speaker 1: don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed. He
- 23:47Speaker 1: certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention. Okay, No, No,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't, I don't.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I don't think you follow me, s sus Angel. What
- 23:55Speaker 1: I'm saying is he's stressed behind closed doors? Is he
- 24:00Speaker 1: stressed in that fashion? Um? I'm not. I'm not too
- 24:05Speaker 1: sure I follow you. You say behind closed doors? What
- 24:08Speaker 1: exactly did you mean by that? Is he is? He's
- 24:10Speaker 1: stressed in y'all's relations Is he stressed? Are you asking
- 24:18Speaker 1: me about my personal business? Brother? Well, what I'm saying
- 24:20Speaker 1: is if he's stressed at home, he'll be stressed at
- 24:23Speaker 1: the church. And if he's stressed at the church, then
- 24:26Speaker 1: the members are stressed. Then the congregation is stressed, So
- 24:30Speaker 1: the stress start with you. Excuse me. If you are
- 24:34Speaker 1: making sure that he's all right at home, he's gonna
- 24:37Speaker 1: be all right at the church. I'm sorry, brother. What
- 24:41Speaker 1: was your name? Brother Clayton? Brother Clayton. I appreciate you
- 24:45Speaker 1: m conducting whatever interviews you guys need to conduct with
- 24:48Speaker 1: the candidates. Wise, I do think that's pretty much personal territory,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and I really don't want to answer those kind of questions.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It's not personal since the Angela when it's so many
- 24:58Speaker 1: other people involved. That's why I'm asking you the question,
- 25:02Speaker 1: is your man stressed behind? I could assure you, yes,
- 25:06Speaker 1: that my husband is not stressed at home. If I
- 25:10Speaker 1: get your drift, he is not stressed behind closed doors, brother,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and I would appreciate you if you don't call with
- 25:16Speaker 1: these kind of questions. Are you asking other candidates why
- 25:19Speaker 1: these kind of questions? Well, I was the one dedicated
- 25:23Speaker 1: to call to give you a call, and that's the
- 25:25Speaker 1: question that I decided to come up with because I
- 25:27Speaker 1: want to know if a man is gonna be stressed,
- 25:29Speaker 1: because if he's gonna have tension at the church, then
- 25:32Speaker 1: then the congregation is going to have tension. The church
- 25:35Speaker 1: is gonna have tension, and the church cannot move forward
- 25:37Speaker 1: in the direction on withgreaton. My husband and I have
- 25:40Speaker 1: been married twenty five years and they've been twenty five
- 25:44Speaker 1: good years. If you get my drift, okay, he is
- 25:47Speaker 1: not stressed at home, and whatever goes on at home,
- 25:50Speaker 1: my husband has sense enough not to take it to
- 25:51Speaker 1: the church. That is not something he's gonna do. So
- 25:54Speaker 1: you don't see about anybody else being stressed at the
- 25:57Speaker 1: congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we ask it together
- 26:01Speaker 1: at home, and I appreciate it if you don't ask
- 26:02Speaker 1: me those kind of questions, but sometimes ask me, well,
- 26:06Speaker 1: sometimes a woman does not realize that a husband is stressed.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You understand that there's a possible way that you don't
- 26:13Speaker 1: know that he's stressed. So how can you get let
- 26:16Speaker 1: me get your phone. A matter of fact, let me
- 26:18Speaker 1: get your full name. What's your first name? Let's just
- 26:20Speaker 1: go with brother Clayton right now, could you please answer
- 26:22Speaker 1: this question? How can you guarantee that he is fully
- 26:26Speaker 1: not stressed? Brother Clayton calling the Lord real quick? Hold on,
- 26:32Speaker 1: Brother Clayton. I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who
- 26:36Speaker 1: stands by my man. Okay, but you are asking me
- 26:39Speaker 1: some questions that very personal, very private, very confidential. You
- 26:45Speaker 1: are asking me questions that that a question is the
- 26:48Speaker 1: safety of my marriage. Okay, my husband is not stressed,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and if I don't send him away from my home stressed? Okay,
- 27:00Speaker 1: how do you know? But what are you doing to
- 27:03Speaker 1: make sure that this is less stress? Clayton? I'm about
- 27:06Speaker 1: to end this phone call. Okay, now, if you know,
- 27:09Speaker 1: we're not gonna end this phone call until that we
- 27:11Speaker 1: know we I need to know that Reverend Jonathan is
- 27:14Speaker 1: not stressed at home. They put they assigned me to
- 27:17Speaker 1: talk to you, and that's what I'm gonna do, and
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna leave. He is not stressed. I don't know
- 27:21Speaker 1: who told you that the man is not stressed. If
- 27:23Speaker 1: he had to stress around you, I bet you. I
- 27:27Speaker 1: bet you he stress because you're stressing me right now.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Now we're both stressed out. How can we understand that
- 27:32Speaker 1: that man is not stressed. That's the end of this conversation.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Do you understand me? Give me your full name right now,
- 27:38Speaker 1: give me some intimate details, and then I'll give you
- 27:41Speaker 1: my number to cross the line. You wait till my
- 27:43Speaker 1: husband gets here. If this is gonna cost him a candacy,
- 27:46Speaker 1: does this so be it? We'll find another church. I'd
- 27:49Speaker 1: have some choice words for you right now, Brother Clayton.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I will give you my name right now. Do you
- 27:54Speaker 1: have a pen? Yes, I'm gonna write it right now.
- 27:57Speaker 1: The letter N N is in nancy E P. I
- 28:02Speaker 1: know how to spare that talk faston N E P
- 28:06Speaker 1: h E W got a name? Is that nephew, your
- 28:10Speaker 1: name is Nephew Clayton. My name ain't nephew Clayton. My
- 28:13Speaker 1: name is Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your husband, Reverend Jonathan. Hold on,
- 28:25Speaker 1: you said, this is nephew Tommy, this is God from
- 28:31Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Mourning's your Your husband got me to
- 28:35Speaker 1: prank phone call you. Oh Lord, I'm gonna kill it.
- 28:38Speaker 1: O Lord that I don't need that. Oh didn't trust me,
- 28:44Speaker 1: sent me this morning. I can't believe I let him
- 28:48Speaker 1: get me, you know, planks before. Oh my God, Tommy,
- 28:53Speaker 1: I will tell you if this was twenty five years ago. Brother,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I cussed up a storm. I'm so glad. I'm a
- 29:01Speaker 1: save woman. Well listen, listen. Can I ask you one
- 29:06Speaker 1: more thing? Yes? What is the baddest radio show in
- 29:09Speaker 1: the land, The Steve Morning Show? Oh Lord, all right, nephew.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:23Speaker 1: some entertainment and national news for you right after this.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, Steve. We have to
- 29:32Speaker 1: say congratulations to our fellow radio brother. We love this guy.
- 29:36Speaker 1: He's radio legend. Big Boy, big Boy, Big Boy, yes.
- 29:43Speaker 1: So yesterday I'm Big boys fifty second birthday. He received
- 29:48Speaker 1: his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, presented to
- 29:51Speaker 1: him by doctor Dre Cool. Right, Yeah, yeah, congratulate Yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: big Boy it is has been a radio icon for
- 30:06Speaker 1: almost thirty years in his morning show is syndicated by
- 30:09Speaker 1: Premier Radio Networks. I mean he deserves that. He's been
- 30:14Speaker 1: around a long time and he does great radio LA Radio.
- 30:17Speaker 1: He's a legend, Steve. So we just want to show
- 30:19Speaker 1: Big Boys some love. Love boy. You know, somebody somebody
- 30:25Speaker 1: has sent me something, but I would tape so late
- 30:28Speaker 1: I forgot to do it. Somebody asked me to send
- 30:31Speaker 1: a video the Big Boy for his birthday bass or something,
- 30:35Speaker 1: and I forgot to do it. But if I got
- 30:38Speaker 1: a couple of minutes, I would just like to say
- 30:41Speaker 1: to a man who we started out as competitors and
- 30:45Speaker 1: we ended up becoming friends while we were both on
- 30:49Speaker 1: competitive stations in Los Angeles, and the show of force
- 30:56Speaker 1: that we did one time was we were doing something
- 31:00Speaker 1: to curb violence in schools out in LA and me
- 31:03Speaker 1: and Big Boy was on the stage at the same time,
- 31:07Speaker 1: and everybody knew we were supposed to be competitors. But
- 31:11Speaker 1: when men and Big Boy stood up and hugged each
- 31:13Speaker 1: other on that stage to show unity amongst us, that
- 31:18Speaker 1: a whole auditorum a kid stood up and that changed
- 31:22Speaker 1: me and Big boys relationship from then on, and we
- 31:25Speaker 1: became instead of competitors friends. You know, we still had
- 31:31Speaker 1: to do what we had to do, but that was
- 31:34Speaker 1: never an ill words said on my show towards him,
- 31:39Speaker 1: and never an ill word on his show towards me.
- 31:42Speaker 1: And I respected that cat, and he's a bad boy
- 31:46Speaker 1: and one of the best I've ever seen. And his
- 31:50Speaker 1: studio actually inspired the studio that we built in Atlanta
- 31:56Speaker 1: where we had our studio home base in Atlanta, because
- 31:59Speaker 1: I went out there saw that, I said, man, that's cold.
- 32:01Speaker 1: The only thing was he worked the board and I
- 32:04Speaker 1: was dedicated to never pushing a button without a check.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That was the only damned plea. Will not act like
- 32:13Speaker 1: I know how to do this engineering thing that was lost.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Congratulate somebody telling him I gave him a big shout
- 32:23Speaker 1: out this morning. Will do absolutely. In other entertainment news,
- 32:29Speaker 1: while fans of Michael Kay Williams have been mourning his death,
- 32:32Speaker 1: fifty Cent has been using it to promote his TV
- 32:35Speaker 1: show and his liquor brand. Um. Taking to instam, he
- 32:40Speaker 1: posted wide opened emojis along with a screenshot of the
- 32:44Speaker 1: breaking news of Michael's death and the caption this is
- 32:49Speaker 1: what fifty wrote. Damn. If you didn't see Raising Kine,
- 32:52Speaker 1: check it out. Fentenol is no joke killing the clientele.
- 32:57Speaker 1: For those of you who don't know PowerBook three, Raising
- 33:00Speaker 1: Kanaan is the stars show based on fifties childhood and queens.
- 33:04Speaker 1: He also added our rip Michael K. Williams and he
- 33:09Speaker 1: spelled his name wrong and then followed that with just
- 33:13Speaker 1: hashtags promoting his kannak and his wine lines. It was
- 33:16Speaker 1: pretty distasteful and he got a lot of He took
- 33:20Speaker 1: it down. He took it down, and then he tasted
- 33:23Speaker 1: the headline trended again. Come on, yeah, stop it downright,
- 33:29Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Ladies and gentlemen, miss a trip. Thank
- 33:34Speaker 1: you very much, and good morning everybody. This is entered
- 33:36Speaker 1: with the News and ABC. Washington Post poll shows that
- 33:40Speaker 1: only forty nine percent of Americans asked think this country
- 33:43Speaker 1: is now safer from terrorism than it was before the
- 33:46Speaker 1: nine eleven attacks twenty years ago. Of course, of nine
- 33:48Speaker 1: eleven anniversaries Saturday. As you would expect, planning is well
- 33:52Speaker 1: underway by the New York City Police Department by the
- 33:55Speaker 1: World Trade Center in advance of this weekend's twentieth anniversary.
- 33:58Speaker 1: John Miller is an Depart's Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and
- 34:02Speaker 1: counter Terrorism. We've seen the call to action this year
- 34:06Speaker 1: be louder and better organized from terrorist groups than we
- 34:10Speaker 1: have seen in prior years, which is why he says,
- 34:13Speaker 1: even though there are no credible threats out there right now,
- 34:16Speaker 1: there's plenty of reason to remain vigilant, and that is
- 34:19Speaker 1: what we are doing. A new Texas law banning abortions
- 34:22Speaker 1: after only six weeks is being criticized by many in
- 34:26Speaker 1: the country. One of those, New York Congresswoman Alexandriocazio Cortez,
- 34:30Speaker 1: or AOC as she's called, who tells CNN that the
- 34:34Speaker 1: six week limit just shows Governor Greg Abbott's quote deep
- 34:37Speaker 1: ignorance in case no one has informed him before in
- 34:41Speaker 1: our life. In his life, six weeks pregnant means two
- 34:44Speaker 1: weeks late for your period and two weeks late on
- 34:47Speaker 1: your period for any person. Any person with a menstrual
- 34:51Speaker 1: cycle can happen if you're stressed, if your diet changes,
- 34:56Speaker 1: or for really no reason at all. In other words,
- 34:58Speaker 1: it's too soon for most women me to even know
- 35:00Speaker 1: that they're pregnant. AOC says she's sorry to have to
- 35:03Speaker 1: break down biology one on one on National TV. President
- 35:07Speaker 1: Biden is putting is putting up eight nominees for federal
- 35:11Speaker 1: court judge ships. His choices are diverse. For instance, A
- 35:13Speaker 1: Lucy Coe would be the first Korean American woman to
- 35:16Speaker 1: serve on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Judge Cole was nominated for the same position by foreign
- 35:22Speaker 1: President Obama, but Republicans sat on it and did refuse
- 35:25Speaker 1: to take a vote on her. Another Biden pick is
- 35:28Speaker 1: African American Superior Court Judge Holly Thomas. Early in her career,
- 35:31Speaker 1: she worked as an appellet on appellet cases for the
- 35:34Speaker 1: Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, and Bidens also
- 35:37Speaker 1: nominated California Court of Appeals Judge Gabriel Sanchez for a
- 35:41Speaker 1: federal judge. Of these judges, by the way, are lifetime
- 35:43Speaker 1: positions once they gained them. And finally, na NA that's
- 35:49Speaker 1: what Black lives and civil rights demonstrate, as sang in Richmond, Virginia.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Yesterday's the stature Robert E. Lee was taken down a
- 35:55Speaker 1: remove from a city square that humongous statue erected over
- 35:58Speaker 1: one hundred years. Go now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:01Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Trending news out of Atlanta, Lenox Square Mall, with luxury
- 36:09Speaker 1: brand stores like Neiman Marcus and Louis Vatan will roll
- 36:12Speaker 1: out a youth supervision policy. This means all visitors eighteen
- 36:17Speaker 1: years or under must be accompanied by a parent or
- 36:21Speaker 1: adult twenty one twenty one years of age or older
- 36:25Speaker 1: at all times after three p m. Any unsupervised youth
- 36:31Speaker 1: under the age of eighteen must leave the property by
- 36:34Speaker 1: three pm, and both youth and adults must carry identification.
- 36:39Speaker 1: This policy comes to just after multiple violent incidents at
- 36:45Speaker 1: the mall, including shooting, armed robbery. The mall said this
- 36:49Speaker 1: is to the response of the community who want safe
- 36:54Speaker 1: and a pleasant environment and a family friendly environment to
- 36:57Speaker 1: shop in. So you know what, look, look, most of
- 37:01Speaker 1: us live in Atlanta. I agree with that policy. Now,
- 37:07Speaker 1: it's a shame that there are good kids that have
- 37:10Speaker 1: to be hurt by this. It is really a shame.
- 37:13Speaker 1: But I am telling you, man, that mall used to
- 37:17Speaker 1: be a great place to go. I can't tell you
- 37:19Speaker 1: that how many times me and Margin and went upstairs
- 37:22Speaker 1: on the top of that escalator and had done at
- 37:24Speaker 1: that steakhouse right up there. We don't go up there
- 37:26Speaker 1: no more. We don't go up there no more. I
- 37:30Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times we used to go
- 37:31Speaker 1: to Neemon Markets to sit down in the cafe and
- 37:34Speaker 1: have lunch and stuff like that. We don't go up
- 37:37Speaker 1: there no more. And that was in Nemon Markets. Because
- 37:42Speaker 1: they shooting in Nemon Markets. It's a damn shame, man.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So we don't want nothing that bad. I can't run
- 37:50Speaker 1: the risk. And it's just a shame, man that a
- 37:53Speaker 1: few mess it up for the minute. But the few
- 37:56Speaker 1: is a large number though, see that few to where
- 38:01Speaker 1: they started having to put metal detectors at the gate
- 38:06Speaker 1: the door because just people just carrying, you know, they're
- 38:09Speaker 1: carrying and and and that's it's a sad thing, man.
- 38:13Speaker 1: But that mall, then, Nix's Mall, was such a cool
- 38:17Speaker 1: place to go. And they got nice shops in there,
- 38:21Speaker 1: nice stores, fils, really nice places to go in there.
- 38:27Speaker 1: And it's it's just a few that have messed it
- 38:29Speaker 1: up for many and so I'm okay with the policy, man,
- 38:33Speaker 1: And until we get this thing under control, we we
- 38:36Speaker 1: gotta protect the innocent. I'm sorry. Yeah, they said that
- 38:41Speaker 1: demanded some kind of change. You have to do that,
- 38:47Speaker 1: but that crime spills over. It's not just in that mall.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They come into that area to do what they want
- 38:53Speaker 1: to do. You know, man, you can't do that, And
- 38:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, the riff raff gots to go. Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 1: So if you're on it keeps going. Man. Your company
- 39:10Speaker 1: by an adult with I D Yeah. All right. Coming
- 39:15Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll tell
- 39:19Speaker 1: you about the HBCU week. We'll tell you all about
- 39:22Speaker 1: that with our special guests Rashaan McDonald coming up right
- 39:25Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Multi Emmy Award and NAACP Image Award winning TV film
- 39:36Speaker 1: radio producer Rashawn McDonald Ladies and Gentlemen, is the host
- 39:41Speaker 1: and producer of the HBCU College Day Tour, which stops
- 39:45Speaker 1: in three states in September, including the canvases of HBCUs
- 39:50Speaker 1: in Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia and the first event
- 39:55Speaker 1: stop is launching in Alabama. Ladies and gentlemen, come on, Steve,
- 40:00Speaker 1: do it like you do. Ladies and gentlemen with whatever
- 40:03Speaker 1: voice I have, put your hands together for the older
- 40:09Speaker 1: creative and soul survival money making coversasions, whether you want
- 40:17Speaker 1: to have them or not, Da damn U shown them?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Mac Donald? Yeah, Man, Man, man or thank because see
- 40:35Speaker 1: I emailed Steve he's in DUBI to come on the
- 40:38Speaker 1: show to talk about hpc you College Day even when
- 40:41Speaker 1: we're back. Immediately Man said, come on the show. Mac.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Let's do this because I'm trying to change lives, and
- 40:46Speaker 1: only way you're gonna change lives with an event like
- 40:48Speaker 1: this is to come on the show, like to Steve
- 40:50Speaker 1: Harvey Mornings. So I talk to friends and also friends
- 40:53Speaker 1: who have also went to HPCUS and understand the value
- 40:56Speaker 1: of what I'm trying to do in the month of
- 40:58Speaker 1: September at these three stops. Yeah, absolutely, I guess. So
- 41:04Speaker 1: like okay, so, so tell us about this college statement
- 41:07Speaker 1: what you got called? Well, what happened is I'm doing
- 41:09Speaker 1: something that is first of all, it's free, and you
- 41:11Speaker 1: know we got COVID happening right now. And so we're
- 41:13Speaker 1: providing facial masks to everybody. We also will be testing
- 41:17Speaker 1: in certain locations, also providing hand sanitizers. I want to
- 41:21Speaker 1: get that out the way first. We have a clear
- 41:23Speaker 1: understanding that there will be social distancing we will from
- 41:26Speaker 1: finding masks. We're respecting like five thousand people at Alabama State,
- 41:30Speaker 1: five thousand people that went to Salem State and North Carolina.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Then in Georgia, we're gonna be in Atlanta, Georgia, in
- 41:37Speaker 1: the bed that call it the bed of HBCUs where
- 41:41Speaker 1: you have more halls, Bare Hall College, Clark Atlanta University,
- 41:45Speaker 1: Mars Brown, and Spellman right here in Atlanta, and we're
- 41:47Speaker 1: actually gonna do be COVID testing. But what we're trying
- 41:50Speaker 1: to do Steves and team is that it's a free
- 41:52Speaker 1: event and I'm bringing military recruiters, corporate recruiters, people will
- 41:57Speaker 1: offering people jobs and HBC schools, And what we're trying
- 42:02Speaker 1: to do is get these high school students and juniors
- 42:04Speaker 1: and seniors and young adults we have made a decision
- 42:06Speaker 1: in life. They can come there and they can register
- 42:09Speaker 1: on the spot, or if they don't want to go
- 42:12Speaker 1: to college, they can go military opportunity if you want
- 42:14Speaker 1: to go into space one boy, aviation technology. Anything is
- 42:19Speaker 1: available at these three locations. And that's why I'm so special.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Its free, and that's why I'm offering, and that's why
- 42:25Speaker 1: I want to make people understand that you can start
- 42:27Speaker 1: your dreams at HBCU College Day. Military recruiters, corporate job recruiters,
- 42:31Speaker 1: they would be back there taking application for internship. And
- 42:34Speaker 1: also the HBCUs. The beauty of it is that I'm
- 42:38Speaker 1: a different HBCUs and they're allowing other HBCUs to come
- 42:41Speaker 1: on their campus and set up shop and recruit qualified
- 42:45Speaker 1: Tier one students. That's what HBCU College Day is all about.
- 42:48Speaker 1: And I'm so proud to be able to say that
- 42:50Speaker 1: we're doing and promoting these staatee. Harvard Morning Show. Okay,
- 42:53Speaker 1: so let me answer this question. So when you speak
- 42:56Speaker 1: about scholarship opportunities for what do you mean by that
- 43:00Speaker 1: people understand about the scholarship opportunities. Okay, all HBCUs give
- 43:06Speaker 1: you an opportunity to day roll. Some HBCUs you don't
- 43:08Speaker 1: know because you know you don't need an SAT and
- 43:11Speaker 1: act scores. Some of you do. If you bring your
- 43:14Speaker 1: SAT scores and ACT scores in your high school transcript
- 43:18Speaker 1: to an HBCU college day event. Then they can register
- 43:22Speaker 1: you on the spot and if your grades and your
- 43:25Speaker 1: scores qualify you, you can get scholarships on the spot.
- 43:28Speaker 1: That's what I mean. Scholarships that are four right, scholarships
- 43:31Speaker 1: on the spot. Those are the opportunities that we are
- 43:33Speaker 1: making available because HBCUs do recruit tier one students. H

- 48:55Speaker 1: Its make no sense though, sir, this is DPCA, this
- 48:58Speaker 1: is what we do one pass. I don't care if

- 49:17Speaker 1: You just tell me right now on the phone. You

- 50:43Speaker 1: after the next one? Though? What are you trying to say?
- 50:46Speaker 1: What are you trying to tell me? What you're trying
- 50:48Speaker 1: to say? What are you hit? We heard, we heard,
- 50:51Speaker 1: we heard from me exactly, dude? When can we expect?
- 50:56Speaker 1: When can we expect the twelve hundred dollars I'm telling
- 51:00Speaker 1: you right about now. Don't cockle my car. I'm doing that,

- 53:14Speaker 1: people who have passed away, and people old those people.
- 53:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. People old those people. And
- 53:20Speaker 1: just because someone has passed don't mean you don't steal
- 53:23Speaker 1: owe them. If they loaned your money, you still owe
- 53:25Speaker 1: them this collection though. Yeah, that's all right. We gotta go,
- 53:32Speaker 1: nephew with this foolish final Coming up next, my Strawberry letter,
- 53:37Speaker 1: the subject my husband likes other women. We'll get into

- 54:01Speaker 1: When you hear that right here, right now, buggle up,
- 54:05Speaker 1: hold on tight, We got it for you here. It
- 54:07Speaker 1: is a Strawberry letter. Thank you. Nephew's subject my husband
- 54:12Speaker 1: likes other women. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married
- 54:16Speaker 1: to one of the finest men in my whole town.
- 54:21Speaker 1: We've been together twenty four years and married for eighteen.
- 54:25Speaker 1: He was my high school sweetheart and we married young
- 54:28Speaker 1: and had two children early. We started having sex when
- 54:31Speaker 1: we were sixteen, so he was the only man I'd
- 54:35Speaker 1: been with until recently. He has cheated on me, and
- 54:40Speaker 1: I forgave him because I had checked out of our
- 54:42Speaker 1: marriage and was going through a little depression. We didn't
- 54:45Speaker 1: go to counseling because he refused to go. Instead, he
- 54:49Speaker 1: offered me a hall pass to make up for what
- 54:52Speaker 1: he did. I may have been depressed, but I'm not crazy,
- 54:55Speaker 1: so I told him no thanks, and I went out
- 54:57Speaker 1: and had an affair on my own discreetly. There's no
- 55:02Speaker 1: way he'll ever figure out what I'm doing on the side,
- 55:05Speaker 1: because he's now checked out of our crazy marriage. It's
- 55:08Speaker 1: nothing for me to find him on the couch with
- 55:11Speaker 1: his feet up, talking to another female and gossiping with
- 55:14Speaker 1: her like their girlfriends. He goes shopping with his sister
- 55:17Speaker 1: and his mother all the time, and they have even
- 55:19Speaker 1: stayed out of town to go shopping at an outlet mall.
- 55:23Speaker 1: My sister loves to come to me with a bunch
- 55:25Speaker 1: of rumors about my husband, and she tries to stir
- 55:28Speaker 1: up mess. But I'm not that concerned about what my
- 55:31Speaker 1: husband is doing. She suggested I call his mom and
- 55:34Speaker 1: sister and ask about the shopping trips and see how
- 55:37Speaker 1: long my husband is really with them, or if he
- 55:40Speaker 1: ducks off to go see a female. I don't have
- 55:44Speaker 1: the energy for any of that, so what if he
- 55:47Speaker 1: likes other women, I'm cheating because I wanted something different,
- 55:50Speaker 1: So I see why he might be interested in other women.
- 55:54Speaker 1: My husband and I have been best friends for almost
- 55:56Speaker 1: twenty five years, and that's what's most important to me.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Am I wrong for not caring what he's up? Tom?
- 56:04Speaker 1: I don't know what this is, but it's certainly not
- 56:07Speaker 1: a marriage. I mean, this is a joke right here.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Why don't you guys just put yourself out of your misery.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You're cheating, He's cheating. This marriage, unfortunately, sounds like it
- 56:19Speaker 1: is run its course. And you ask, is it wrong
- 56:23Speaker 1: that you don't care anymore? Well, I'll only say yes
- 56:26Speaker 1: if you plan on staying married to him. But this
- 56:30Speaker 1: is why people get divorced because they don't care anymore.
- 56:34Speaker 1: They don't give a darn. What good is it being
- 56:37Speaker 1: married if you don't care about each other? Okay, your
- 56:40Speaker 1: marriage is just pathetic at this point. I mean, what
- 56:44Speaker 1: are you holding onto? Is it the memories from back
- 56:48Speaker 1: in the day, the habits, what's comfortable? Is it just
- 56:51Speaker 1: familiar to you, you say, your best friend? Or are
- 56:55Speaker 1: you waiting for a miracle or for something to change?
- 56:58Speaker 1: I mean, what is it that you want. You're tired
- 57:00Speaker 1: and bored with you know, with each other, because you
- 57:04Speaker 1: guys simply neglected to do the work that it takes
- 57:06Speaker 1: to keep your marriage strong. I mean, the two of
- 57:08Speaker 1: you have given up on yourselves, You've given up on
- 57:11Speaker 1: the marriage, You've given up on each other. What do
- 57:13Speaker 1: you what do you want? And what does he want?
- 57:15Speaker 1: Do you guys even have any idea? I bet you
- 57:18Speaker 1: both know what your side pieces need and want. I
- 57:21Speaker 1: bet you do. And yes, his mom and sister are
- 57:24Speaker 1: definitely covering for him. I think when he hangs out
- 57:27Speaker 1: with them, if he won't go to counseling, why don't
- 57:29Speaker 1: you just go on your own? You know, if you
- 57:31Speaker 1: feel like there's something salvageable about this marriage, as long
- 57:35Speaker 1: as you're still married, there is a chance. It's not
- 57:37Speaker 1: too late. Marriages have come back from all kinds of
- 57:40Speaker 1: bad things. I mean, you say you don't care, but
- 57:43Speaker 1: I kind of think you do. Otherwise, why are you
- 57:46Speaker 1: writing us steve this marriage, oval dis marriage or I
- 57:53Speaker 1: ain't no saving this. This is not salvageable. And the
- 57:57Speaker 1: reason I'm saying that it is because it's too back
- 58:00Speaker 1: and forth, and there's more folthing back so I don't
- 58:04Speaker 1: really know where we're going with this, but let's just
- 58:07Speaker 1: give you my take because I'm anna the little bit
- 58:12Speaker 1: of hate shade in the early beginning, because I don't
- 58:15Speaker 1: like when that a start like this, Dear Steven Shirley,
- 58:20Speaker 1: I'm married to one of the finest men in the
- 58:24Speaker 1: whole town. Oh that's how you're gonna. You're gonna, you're gonna,
- 58:28Speaker 1: You're gonna come to me with that. I'm married to
- 58:33Speaker 1: one of the finest men in my whole town. Well,
- 58:37Speaker 1: let me knock you down a little bit, because town
- 58:40Speaker 1: means small populated area. So now, if you was married
- 58:49Speaker 1: to the finest man in the city, you might have
- 58:52Speaker 1: something right now, but you're married to the to the
- 58:56Speaker 1: finest man in our town. Once again, town small populated area.
- 59:05Speaker 1: My ranch was in Little Elm, population six hundred and
- 59:10Speaker 1: thirty people. Hard to find a fine person out of
- 59:15Speaker 1: six hundred and thirty, you got to give just somebody
- 59:18Speaker 1: got ahead of title because out of the six hundred
- 59:23Speaker 1: and thirty people that lived in the township, all of
- 59:26Speaker 1: them weren't adults all. I'm one young and a lot
- 59:32Speaker 1: of them probably used to be fine. So I just
- 59:35Speaker 1: wanted to say that and get that out the way.
- 59:36Speaker 1: That's a little bit of shade and hate and been
- 59:39Speaker 1: together twenty four years man eighteen high school sweetheart, started
- 59:43Speaker 1: having sex when y'all was sixteen. Y'all tied each other
- 59:47Speaker 1: by now, it's the only man you ever been with.
- 59:50Speaker 1: And until recently, oh later took a tourney. He has
- 59:56Speaker 1: cheated on me and I forgave him because he's the
- 59:59Speaker 1: first time I had checked out of our match and
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: was going through a little depression. I'm not really sure
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: how to read that. I don't know what a little
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: depression is up next to a lot of depression most
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: people I noticed the depress is just sad ass people.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I don't know how you be a little sad if
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: your ass is just saying hold on, Steve, hold on,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response. Just say about this.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Let coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: My husband likes other women is the subject. We'll get
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: The subject my husband likes other women. Yeah, okay, here
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: we go once again. Let me I'm gonna just read
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: let it tear apart. I go to Steven Sherlon. I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: mad to find his men in my whole town. Once again,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I'm told you about the little town. Still you know?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: So what you know? How many y'all stayed? At two hundred?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: It's easy to get the title when it are two
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: hundred people. Okay, So you married to the little finest
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: man and atal been together twenty four years, married eighteen.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: He was your high school sweetheart. You got married, you
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: had kids earlier. You've only had sex with him. You
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: started having sex at sixteen. You checked out the marriage.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: He started cheating on you, and you forgave him because
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you had checked out of your marriage. That's the first
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: time somebody checked out the marriage. So while you checked out,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: he checked out two. So y'all been checked out, y'all
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: got married early. All this is understandable because you was
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: going through a little depression. That ain't really why he
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: checked out. You know that ain't really why. But you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: always trying to give a man an excuse for why
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: he messed up, So I guess you can let him
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: have that, all right. We didn't go to counseling because
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: he or he didn't want to because see here, don't
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: see nothing wrong. I told you you checked out. He
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: been checked out. He cheated because he wanted to. Instead,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: he offered me a Hall pass. Now, ain't that a
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: guilt trip? So since I cheated, you can go out
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and cheat to make up for what he did. Now,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: you might have been depressed, but you ain't crazy, So
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I told him no thanks. And then right after you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: told him no things. See that's another thing. You checked
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: out the marriage. Then he cheated on you. Then he
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: turned around gave you a hall pass. Then you told
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: him no thanks because you ain't crazy. But you went
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: out and had an affair on your own, very discreetly.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: So now you didn't check back out the marriage again.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: There's no way he'll ever figure out what I'm doing
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: on the side, because now he's checked out of our
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: crazy marriage. Okay, now you checked out, you cheating. He's
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: been checked out, but you think he ain't. So now
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: he didn't checked out again. Then you say it's nothing
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: for me to find him on the couch with his
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: feet up talking to another female gossip we win her
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: like their girlfriend. Then here's the part where it got
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: all unbelievable. He goes shopping with his sister and mama
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: all the time, and they stayed out of town to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: go shopping at an outlet mall. Who go with their
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: mama and their sister to a damn outlet mall at
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: the time? What black dude, you know, go out of
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: town with his mama and his sister go shopping at
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: an outlet mall? Who do that? And you know, once
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: again we're back to how small your town is. How
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the hell you got to go out of town to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: find a damn mall? That's really a small town. If
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you got to go out of town to find an
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: outlet mall, do y'all stay in the village. Yeah, My
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: sister loves to come to me with a bunch of
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: rumors about my husband. She tries to stare up mess
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: and here's another telltale sign. But I'm not that concerned
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: about what my husband is doing. This is a woman
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: who's completely checked out. See is all these check out
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: red flags in this marriage? She suggests that I call
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: his mom and sister asked about the shopping trips. See
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: how long my husband's really with them? Or if he
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: ducks out to see a female. Here's the next line. Now,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: all these lines sum up the letter. I don't have
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: the energy for any of that. Red flag checked out?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Next line? So what if he likes other women? What fla? What? What? Oh?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Wife says? So what if he likes other women? All
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: these sentences right here is to tell tale in this
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: whole letter. Next sentence? You ready for this. I'm cheating
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: because I wanted something different. What listen to the sentences?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: All of these is back to back. You're ready for
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the next sentence. I see why he might be interested
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: in other women? What any of these sentences by their self?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: It's damaging evidence, but she put them all in the
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: same paragraph. Ain't back to back to back? You're ready
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: for the next one. This is the one that's absurdd.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: My husband and I have been best friends for twenty
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: five years, and that's what's most important to me. Are
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you nuts? Y'all friend? Y'all best friends that don't give
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: a damn about each other? Am I wrong for not
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: caring what he's up to? Now? You ain't wrong with you?
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: You don't care? How you wrong for not kid? You
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: don't care? I told you at the top of this letter.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: This marriage is over. It's been over. You're not in
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: a marriage, y'all is some mess y'all sitting up somewhere,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: y'all roommates. He got his feet up on a coffee table,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: talk coffee table, talking to other girl. You in the house,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: ain't no consequence, Ain't nobody busting, no ass, trail over
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: nobody head you know, or nobody at all. Y'all got
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: all the windows in the house. Yeah, I can drive off.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Ain't none of his times flat, Ain't no sugar, any
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: gas thing? Post your comments on today. Well when you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: need I'm right here. That's right. You're listening to show
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: It's Carla's Reality Update. But right now, Steve, please introduce
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: our girl from the Talk Girl, the Talk Star. Undo.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. Now that's an introduction, Steve Hobby. That's
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: why we are best friends. In my mind for real,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: were tight. We brothers were to gather. Okay, listen, Steve
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: so clarose, Well, you know me and Steve. You know
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: we we we're brothers. I mean we're sisters and brothers,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: but we just like that. We don't like that short describe.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Stop trying to get in the middle of my relationship
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: with Steve, Steve, since you're my best friend in my mind, right,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I need love advice by me and Junior, so we
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: keep firing going at Junior. Hello Junior, Okay, there it
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: is right there. Okay, now to keep our relationships strong, hot, passionate.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: What advice would you give me to keep my relationship
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: with Junior strong, hot, and passionate? What avice think? A
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: lot of things that you are when you come on
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the show, shrill? I think you know, like you and
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I are friends. We've been friends for a long time,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: so you don't have to say your best friend. In
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: my mind, I'm not your best friend, but we are friends.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: You know, I'm pretty sure in my mind you are
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: my best friend. Well I know, but you know you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: can't call me with just anything. You know, ain'tthing to
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: talk about all that. So, you know, best friends talk
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: about anything. You can call me if you got a
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: real problem. But if you got a little problem, I
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: probably you know I ain't gonna answer. But you know
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: we are friends because we've been together for a long time. Yeah,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the relationship between you and Junior, I think I'm gonna
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: have to intervene here and do some counseling. I'm not
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: sure if the two of you are on the same
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: page at all. You're incompatible. Don't know. I didn't know. Hey, hey, wait,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: they ain't not see right there? Tommy command and got
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: in here and made the ultimate statement, y'all ready you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: are not ready to love between the two of y'all
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: slash age difference, slash direction. I know Junior is too
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: young for me. I know that it takes a lot
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: of vinaments, it takes a lot of exercise. I've been
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: eating through some vessels and nutrients and things because he's very,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: very young for me. You know, cereal, I have over
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: here in the house right down, because he's very young
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: and the sex is amazing. I will tell you that
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: he didn't knock my wig out about three full times,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: and I had an anchor down like RuPaul drag Race.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I had an anchor down stair. Knock that out. Share
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: we gotta go for real. Coming up to the top
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: of the hour, Carla's reality update. Thank you, Cheryl, Bye bye.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Tommy introduced her. She's here. I got it, I got it,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: watched me work and Shirley, I don't need no help.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: I'm just letting me know that early. Okay, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: getting ready, buckle up and hold on tight. She is here,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Carla Farrell with what reality update coming in? Hot. I
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: didn't need no help. Go ahead, Carla, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: She took her from your nephew. She took her right back,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: right back. Thank you, Shirley, thank you. Here we go,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: We're Housewives of Atlanta. I just want to start off
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: and say that some of the cast members from the
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: past and present season paid their respects at the Celebration
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of Life ceremony for Greg Leeks and Ninie thanked everyone
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: for their love and support, including you know, the fans
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: and the viewers. So Nini posted pictures from the repass
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: or the Celebration of Life ceremony. So there you go,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Potomac. So Candice, she went too far
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: where she blamed Ashley for all the drama that popped
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: off on the trip to Williamsburg, Virginia between Wendy and
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Giselle because she went too far, and then she kind
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: of told Wendy with the rumors about Eddie and the cheating.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: So we all know about this from that long trip. Anyway,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: they had a dinner and Candice just had it with Ashley,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: so she just popped off at the dinner, called her
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: forehead wide body just fehead Ashley on the cool, got
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: a big old forehead on the table. Oh my gosh,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: it's all all forehead. Yes, yes, yes, yes. But Kansas
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: is getting a little backlash on social media because they said,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: you know, Ashley is saying that she body shamed her,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: and you know she did. She went too far with
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: that one beforehead you was on it. You was right, right, Junior, Yes,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: just hollering. All right. So Robin and Giselle they have
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: a podcast and Robin said that she was not surprised
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to see that Giselle and Reverend Jamal Bryant are not together,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: and that she said she never saw that, she never
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: saw them together and they just really have too much
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: drama from their past. So it was kind of you know, Robin,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you think Robin always, you know, that's her girl. But
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: when she said that, I was like, all right there, Robin.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: So there you go with that. Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: All right, let's move on to I am ready, Shirley.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I am counting down for the Real Housewives of Salt
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Lake City. I cannot wait, but listen to this, Tommy,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: listen to this. They are going to start this season off.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: This is just season two with your girl gen. While
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: they were taping, she gets a phone call from her
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: husband telling her that the Feds are about to come
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: to the set and arrest her. Yes, sir, yes, sir,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: And they do just that. The Fens show up. Yes
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: a girl. Yes. While they are taping the show, they
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: are charging her with She targeted elderly victims throughout the
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: US and generated they call them lead lists, so they
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: were sold to other participants. So it's basically a federal
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: telemarketing fraud case. And so we will see what happens
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: this season on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: But I like on one part of the promo, I
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: guess Jim was arguing with one of the housewives and
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: she said, fraud and I love this housewife she married us.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: She was like, fraud. I know you ain't calling That's
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: what they ain't. That looks like, I know you're not
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: calling nobody or fraud and quickly get ready. Thirtieth season
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars. Kenya Moore from the Real Housewives
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: of Alanta. Yes, we'll be on. Yeah, your your boot
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: will be on their Junior. Also check this out Becky
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: from Full House her daughter college admission scandal. Like uess,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: she gets to be on Dancing with the Stars. So
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: we'll be watching hit me up. That looks by Carla
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: And what's you guys, Shirley? All right, thank you. More

- 1:17:43Speaker 1: and he's nineteen. He wants to be my boyfriend and
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: said he's going to marry me one day. He's exactly
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the type of man I want to marry. But I
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: can't get past the age difference. I feel like I'm

- 1:17:57Speaker 1: when you think you love someone, please help. If it's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: a deal, if you want it to be a deal,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: it's also a deal if you make it a deal.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: This is for sure. If he stays alive, he won't
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: always be nineteen. That's what sean. And now with that
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: being said, yeah you, yeah, you Rob Craig. He's down
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: in nineteen. He's no freshman everything. You put some of
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: that senior citizen thing on him, and he well, you know,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: to him, you know, that's an old woman. Now he's
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: flunking out of school because he either he didn't got
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: it or ain't getting in no modi. But either way,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: he's flunking out of school. So you know, no, I
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: don't think you have to be worried about that. You know,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: if he's a good guy, he's a good guy, you know,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: go forward. But when you take him to your daddy, though,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: he's gonna be a little difficult. All Right, We're moving
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: on Michelle and Tampa. Says. My fifty nine year old
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: mother recently got a citation for indecent exposure because she
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: was trying to have sex in her car. She told
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: me that it's my fault she was in the car
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: having sex because she has no privacy at home. I
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: moved in with her during the pandemic after I lost
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: my job. Her apartment is small and the walls are thin,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: so I suggested that she go have sex at her
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: sorry boyfriend's house next time. She cursed me out and
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: told me to be out of her house by next month.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: How can I fix this mess? What? Well? First of all,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: you told your mother to go have sex at her
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: sorry boyfriend's house. When you in her house, you stoop?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: All right, John, When we come back, last break of
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: the day and Steve's closing remarks, you don't want to
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: miss them. We'll be back at forty nine after you're listening.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: All right, Here we are our last break of the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: day and Steve, yeah, you can take it away. Here
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: it is. You know, I was thinking something that's helped
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: me in my lifetime, and it was a difficult lesson
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: to learn for me, but I finally got it together
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: years ago, but it took me some time. I must
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: admit I spent all of my twenties and thirties not
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: understanding this, and even a little bit now, just mostly
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: twenties and thirties. So I'm gonna share it with you,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: and I want you to understand that I'm saying. I'm
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: saying all this in love. You can't share everything with everybody.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: You know that that that really seems so simple. But
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times you inadvertly damage yourself,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: your opportunity, and your journey by not understanding this real
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: simple rule, you cannot You cannot share everything with everybody.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: You can't. You can't share your visions with everybody because
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: they don't really care. Then everybody's not genuinely interested in
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: your career, goals, your visions, your hopes for tomorrow. A
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: lot of people you share stuff with don't even understand
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the thing that you're telling this in your imagination. They
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: don't even get it. And I understand they don't get
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: what's in your imagination because it's something they could never
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: ever possibly imagine. And basically, the number one reason you
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: can't share everything with everybody is just real simple. Most
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: people don't care, you know that. Just sit up and
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: listen to you and look just as concerned as soon
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: as you walk away. Don't give you the idea, the
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: thought you had another another moment of consideration. They don't care.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: But do you understand something they don't have to. It's
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: perfectly okay that they don't see your vision, share your
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: vision that it's okay that they're not genuinely interested. It's
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: okay that they don't understand what's coming out of your imagination.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: It's perfectly fine that they don't care because there is
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: really no one else more critical to your journey or
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: your success than God. Nobody. There is no one living
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: that's more critical to your journey or your success than God. Period. Now,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: if you're blessed and you got a supportive spouse Jack Pott,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: that's bonus. Or you found someone in your life that
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you'll ride or die, that's bonus. Or you got one
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: of your friends that's that's what you through thick and thin,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and it's hard to find them, but they exist, then
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: that's a bonus. The rest of the people really listen
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: to me, they don't matter. They don't matter because they
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: don't matter. It doesn't matter what they think, say, feel,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: or give you back because it's irrelevant, non important, significant
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: to your journey or your success. You've got to get
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: this through your head because I spent too much time
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: sharing everything with everybody, thinking I was sharing it in
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: hopes that they might have a piece of information from me.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: The majority of people I shared it with didn't have
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: nothing from me. I wasted time sitting up there, and
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: then I'll tell you something else that happened. You can
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: tell your big dreams to small minded people if you
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: want to. And now you've given one of the devil's
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: imps the information that he needs to provide obstruction. That's
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: a sad thing, man, But I want you all to
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: be aware because sometimes we seek the wrong people's approval
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: and you end up wasting time. Why does it matter
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: matter to you what they think of you when they
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: don't even care about you? What does it matter what
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: they think of you and they don't even know you?
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Do you know? Some people post stuff on social media
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and be just as happy what they picture, their little caption,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and you put it online and you're just saying, man,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I'm having a great day, or man, I just want
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: to show y'all something that God has blessed me to
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: share with you all. And if you mess around and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: read your comments, here comes somebody on your comment page
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: that then took your perfectly well intentioned caption and your
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: picture that you meant no harm to anybody post it,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: and here they come with a bunch of negativity. And
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: now all of a sudden, your day is off course
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: because somebody says something about you that don't even know you.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: People's opinion of you is none of your business, nor
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: should you make it yours. That negative comment that they
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: put on your timeline in your comments section. If you
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: had never read that, do you know you would have
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: went right on about your married day? Do you know
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: that that blessing you posted would have still been your blessing?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Do you know the intent that you posted it with
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: all good will to share something with somebody, to put
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: a positive spin on their day. It would have still
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: been there. But oh no, no, no no, you allowed
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: somebody to matter who don't even matter. Stop telling everybody
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: everything because everybody don't care. Get that through your head.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I don't care how fine you are. Somebody don't like you,
