- 1:47Speaker 6: money up.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 7: to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 7: only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay, here we
- 2:12Speaker 7: go today, folks. This is a good one because today
- 2:17Speaker 7: I want to share with you something that affects every
- 2:22Speaker 7: living soul, and that one thing is your attitude.
- 2:28Speaker 2: This affects everyone. It is your attitude. You know.
- 2:36Speaker 7: I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I
- 2:39Speaker 7: mean many of you who listen and know this, But
- 2:42Speaker 7: there are a lot of people who don't understand a
- 2:45Speaker 7: positive attitude can bring about a change. A positive attitude
- 2:53Speaker 7: can bring about a change. Well, now here we go
- 2:55Speaker 7: with the nay says well, Steve, what you mean if
- 2:57Speaker 7: I'm just positive being changed? My mama, what me being
- 3:01Speaker 7: positive got to do with that? Okay, now, Listen to
- 3:04Speaker 7: me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:10Speaker 7: I hear you saying that, But they done fired me.
- 3:13Speaker 7: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:16Speaker 7: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:21Speaker 7: one more time, A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, Steve,
- 3:28Speaker 7: I set up in here and gave eight, nine, twelve
- 3:32Speaker 7: years of my life to this man and he just
- 3:35Speaker 7: he cheated on me and walked out. Now what does
- 3:37Speaker 7: me being positive have to do with him cheating on me?
- 3:41Speaker 7: How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we go again.
- 3:45Speaker 7: A positive attitude can bring about change. Now listen to
- 3:49Speaker 7: the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and the change
- 3:55Speaker 7: that can happen starts This is the start. It starts
- 4:01Speaker 7: within you. See, life is ten percent of what happens,
- 4:07Speaker 7: is ninety percent what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:10Speaker 7: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:13Speaker 7: He cheated and left you holding the bag, the kids
- 4:16Speaker 7: and everything. Now what does being positive have to do
- 4:20Speaker 7: with changing that? Or they came in and they fired you.
- 4:22Speaker 7: You lost your job that you was a stellar performer at.
- 4:26Speaker 7: But now, how does you have a positive attitude. How
- 4:30Speaker 7: does that change things for you?
- 4:33Speaker 2: So far?
- 4:33Speaker 7: You can use any example. Here's what happens when you
- 4:37Speaker 7: have a positive attitude. What it produces within you is
- 4:42Speaker 7: a positive approach to life. And when you have a
- 4:46Speaker 7: positive attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes
- 4:50Speaker 7: you to be optimistic, to have a positive out look,
- 4:57Speaker 7: to expect things to eventually turn around and turn into
- 5:02Speaker 7: a positive That's very important because as the law of
- 5:05Speaker 7: attraction comes into play, if you think positive thoughts, you
- 5:11Speaker 7: attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts, you attract
- 5:17Speaker 7: evil to you. You know, if you want for nothing,
- 5:21Speaker 7: then nothing comes your way. If you want for positive attitude,
- 5:25Speaker 7: if you want for positive results, if you want for
- 5:28Speaker 7: a great outcome, that's what you attract to you. The
- 5:31Speaker 7: change will begin within you. So let's take the man
- 5:35Speaker 7: that walked out your life and left you hold in
- 5:37Speaker 7: the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things have
- 5:42Speaker 7: happened that's positive.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Here.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Number one, you've.
- 5:45Speaker 7: Rided yourself of someone who is obviously going to be,
- 5:49Speaker 7: if not already been, toxic in your life. Cause you
- 5:53Speaker 7: many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings and uneasiness,
- 5:58Speaker 7: not sure insecure purity. You've been going through it with
- 6:01Speaker 7: this person, whoever they are. Number One, that person has
- 6:05Speaker 7: been released from your life. Number two. It allows you
- 6:09Speaker 7: now to have the someone who will treat you just
- 6:12Speaker 7: the way you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook,
- 6:16Speaker 7: that's the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person.
- 6:20Speaker 7: You see the positive in things that happen to you,
- 6:23Speaker 7: instead of burying yourself under the what's wrong with it?
- 6:26Speaker 2: A old woe is me?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Now?
- 6:28Speaker 7: Concept see a positive attitude. When they came in there
- 6:32Speaker 7: and they fired you and let you go, could this
- 6:35Speaker 7: not have been just the opening you needed to finally
- 6:39Speaker 7: start on a new career path that you've been talking
- 6:42Speaker 7: about doing? Anyway? Could it possibly be a brand new
- 6:46Speaker 7: chance for you to get the dream job or dream
- 6:50Speaker 7: career of your choice. Could it not possibly be the
- 6:54Speaker 7: perfect opportunity now for you to finally finally do something
- 7:00Speaker 7: about that gift, about that talent that God gave you,
- 7:03Speaker 7: that thing that you love to do. Could it not
- 7:06Speaker 7: be the perfect time for you to pursue that. But
- 7:08Speaker 7: if you don't have a positive attitude, then you lay there.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Oh they finish, Come get in my house. Oh what
- 7:15Speaker 7: I'm gonna do now, Oh, this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord,
- 7:19Speaker 7: when this unemployment run out, what am I gonna do?
- 7:22Speaker 7: Then I won't have nothing, and you old woe is
- 7:25Speaker 7: me until you become old woe is me. But if
- 7:29Speaker 7: you take it from the positive approach, some amazing things
- 7:33Speaker 7: can happen in your life. I will tell you on
- 7:35Speaker 7: a personal note that some of the most some of
- 7:39Speaker 7: the best changes, some of the biggest moments in my
- 7:42Speaker 7: life came after a loss. So I don't want to
- 7:46Speaker 7: go down the list, but boy, I could tell you.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Let me, let me tell you something. When they didn't
- 7:49Speaker 7: want me on the radio anymore in La, well, they
- 7:53Speaker 7: didn't when they were it was sick of the way
- 7:55Speaker 7: I did radio out there, and they wanted me gone.
- 7:59Speaker 7: And on May twenty three, two thousand and five, when
- 8:04Speaker 7: my did when when my deal was done with the
- 8:09Speaker 7: beat out in La. Okay, look what happened though. Yeah,
- 8:14Speaker 7: I was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I
- 8:17Speaker 7: started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You see. But I didn't go old woe as me.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I said, Oh okay, God must have something else from
- 8:29Speaker 7: it in because if he didn't remove me from this,
- 8:31Speaker 7: that must be something else. Same thing can happen when
- 8:34Speaker 7: you lose and you break up in a relationship, Same
- 8:38Speaker 7: thing can happen to you. You never know the one
- 8:40Speaker 7: God God for you that here you go, here you
- 8:42Speaker 7: go again. Now you get put into a situation where
- 8:45Speaker 7: somebody treat you just the way you want to be treated,
- 8:48Speaker 7: provide you the whole lot of aspects of your life
- 8:50Speaker 7: you knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta
- 8:53Speaker 7: stay positive. If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that
- 8:57Speaker 7: optimistic outlook, that that that always thinking God got me
- 9:02Speaker 7: no matter what happened to me, some amazing things that's
- 9:05Speaker 7: going will happen in your life.
- 9:08Speaker 2: It's a fact. I don't know how it works that way.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I just know that's what it is.
- 9:12Speaker 7: Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off the old
- 9:16Speaker 7: woe is Me negativity train because it ain't gonna take
- 9:19Speaker 7: you nowhere but down and get your outlook up. If
- 9:22Speaker 7: you change your attitude, you change your altitude. Altitude is
- 9:27Speaker 7: determined by your attitude. How high you go, how big
- 9:30Speaker 7: you become, how far you go. It all depends on
- 9:34Speaker 7: how you think. It all depends on what type of
- 9:37Speaker 7: attitude you got ain't ain't no very very successful, super
- 9:42Speaker 7: negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way. If you
- 9:46Speaker 7: see that something that happened to them along the way,
- 9:48Speaker 7: and don't worry. You ain't gotta worry about it because
- 9:50Speaker 7: you ain't gonna see him long, because you can't stay
- 9:52Speaker 7: up there like that.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's just too hard, all right. That's the conversation. Listening morning,
- 10:02Speaker 2: ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Let me have you undivided attention. There's something I need
- 10:06Speaker 7: to point out to you, and event that you haven't
- 10:08Speaker 7: given it a moment of reflection for today. Today is
- 10:12Speaker 7: the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice
- 10:14Speaker 7: and be glad in it. Ma Mama used to say
- 10:17Speaker 7: that to me on the way out the door to
- 10:19Speaker 7: go into school every morning. Didn't quite get it quite
- 10:22Speaker 7: back then, but as I got old, I started understanding it. Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 7: but I figured this out. Let me put it to
- 10:28Speaker 7: you in short form. Only God can make a new day.
- 10:31Speaker 7: He's the only one that can do that. He's the producer,
- 10:33Speaker 7: the manufacture of sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, hail, sleet, snow, oceans, mountains, volcanoes.
- 10:44Speaker 7: Is the architect of all of this. Stop letting people
- 10:48Speaker 7: talk to you about anything else because he made this.
- 10:53Speaker 7: I'm not even gonna get into this discussion I had
- 10:55Speaker 7: with this atheist recently who was telling me the scientific
- 10:58Speaker 7: reasons that why Earth came about. And when he got
- 11:01Speaker 7: through talking, I said, Okay. He said, that's the scientific reason.
- 11:04Speaker 7: I say, cool, okay, where science come from?
- 11:08Speaker 8: Cool?
- 11:08Speaker 7: I'm just trying to get this conversationally over. I mean,
- 11:11Speaker 7: you know, cause you keep telling me where everything come from.
- 11:14Speaker 7: But when you get through telling me where everything comes from,
- 11:17Speaker 7: tell me where did that come from?
- 11:21Speaker 4: A man?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Brother, I'm stunned.
- 11:24Speaker 7: So I'm clear about who he is, what he is,
- 11:28Speaker 7: and who I am. Who he is to me and
- 11:31Speaker 7: who I am to him. Get clear about that, y'all.
- 11:33Speaker 7: Don't nobody talk to you off that Steve hard Martin Show,
- 11:35Speaker 7: Shirley Strawberry calling for real.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Mississippi Monica Jr. Tell me out. Junior's on your mind today? Man?
- 11:42Speaker 2: Oh man, let's just go ahead and stuff to uh.
- 11:45Speaker 9: Once he finished saying all the scientific reasons, how hard
- 11:48Speaker 9: were you looking at him?
- 11:50Speaker 2: What was I looking?
- 11:51Speaker 7: My head was tilted. You know how puppy look at
- 11:54Speaker 7: you when you're doing something. He ain't quite what you know? Man,
- 11:57Speaker 7: I want to help people, but I don't have a
- 12:00Speaker 7: lot of patience for that, you know, because I just don't. Man,
- 12:06Speaker 7: I just I just really really don't. And so I'm
- 12:09Speaker 7: not the most qualified Christian to talk to atheists. I'm
- 12:13Speaker 7: really not, because if you don't want to believe in Him,
- 12:17Speaker 7: I'm perfectly comfortable with you go into Hell.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like, I'm.
- 12:25Speaker 3: None of that on me.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Don't get that on Let's you perfectly comfortable with them
- 12:35Speaker 1: going to Hell.
- 12:37Speaker 7: That's your choice, then just step away from me because
- 12:41Speaker 7: I don't want to go with you.
- 12:42Speaker 2: And you know, I know, I know you're supposed to
- 12:46Speaker 2: be the bearer of good news and spread God.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But I tried, he was listening.
- 12:53Speaker 7: What I'm not finna do is argue with you about it,
- 12:57Speaker 7: because I don't know how to have that debate. I
- 13:00Speaker 7: really don't because I'm just convinced otherwise. And so, as
- 13:06Speaker 7: I told Pierce Morgan one time on his show, he said,
- 13:09Speaker 7: I understand that you don't talk to atheists.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I said, well, if you're an atheist and you know that.
- 13:15Speaker 7: I believe in God and you think i'm a I'm
- 13:17Speaker 7: a fool for believing in a high power in all
- 13:20Speaker 7: this hocus pocus.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Okay, And if I think you're an atheist and you
- 13:24Speaker 2: don't believe in God, I think you a fool. And
- 13:27Speaker 2: I just don't see why two fools ought to be
- 13:30Speaker 2: standing around talking.
- 13:33Speaker 1: All right, Well, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:35Speaker 1: the hour, we'll run that prank back, not with the nephew,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but with Junior in for the nephew. Right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show, It is time now for us
- 13:48Speaker 1: to run that prank back with Junior in for the nephew.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Junior or what you got for us?
- 13:53Speaker 9: We don't know what an if you's at, but I'm
- 13:55Speaker 9: gonna do it. It's okay, claim your kid, claim your kids.
- 13:59Speaker 4: What it is?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Freddy came your job?
- 14:02Speaker 2: He Hello, I'm trying to reach Devin. Yeah, this is
- 14:07Speaker 2: hey Devin. How you doing.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Man?
- 14:09Speaker 4: My name is Curtis Man, Curtis. I was trying to
- 14:12Speaker 4: reach out to you. You your your your son?
- 14:15Speaker 5: Uh?
- 14:17Speaker 4: He plays basketball with my nephew. Man, your son is
- 14:21Speaker 4: the one that's on the on the Blazers little league basketball.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Team, right yeah yeah, he plays for Blazers. Everything all right, yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah? Everything?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Good man? You know they got a game Saturday and everything.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I've seen you a couple of times man at the game.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I don't know if you remember me, Man, light skinned
- 14:36Speaker 4: brother about about six foot.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I probably met you up. You know, i'd be
- 14:41Speaker 5: so intense to the game. But yeah, what's what's going on?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Uh uh?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Well?
- 14:46Speaker 4: Actually, man, I wanted to hoigh at you about about
- 14:48Speaker 4: your son. Man, you you are you are you? Are
- 14:54Speaker 4: you working right now?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Are you currently working?
- 14:57Speaker 5: Am I am I working?
- 14:59Speaker 3: Like?
- 14:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 14:59Speaker 5: I am working?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Actually, I mean I mean, I mean you have aye
- 15:02Speaker 2: a steady job, is what I'm asking.
- 15:04Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, what you what you get in that though,
- 15:07Speaker 5: Like you know, I thought you were calling about the
- 15:10Speaker 5: basketball team, like uniforms. I know, we got a game Saturday.
- 15:14Speaker 5: You know sometime they want donation for sneakers and.
- 15:16Speaker 4: All that, like you know, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 15:19Speaker 4: what I was asking? So so, I mean you you
- 15:21Speaker 4: got a regular nine to five job you go.
- 15:23Speaker 2: To all the time.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a nine five I mean things is
- 15:29Speaker 5: kind of crazy. But what's going on? You need a job?
- 15:31Speaker 2: So no, no, no, I'm just checking.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Man.
- 15:34Speaker 4: See what I wanted to get at you about, Man,
- 15:36Speaker 4: is seeing are you gonna cleim your son, uh on
- 15:41Speaker 4: your income text this year?
- 15:43Speaker 5: Hold on, Bro? Now you said, am I going to
- 15:46Speaker 5: claim my son on my taxes this year?
- 15:49Speaker 4: Right?
- 15:50Speaker 2: I mean like you know, as a dependent?
- 15:53Speaker 5: So you asking some real personal questions now, you know,
- 15:56Speaker 5: like you the guy that you just that you you
- 15:59Speaker 5: know what I mean? From the basketball team that my
- 16:01Speaker 5: son play on, you know, and now he doesn't jump
- 16:04Speaker 5: from the Blazers to do I clean my son on
- 16:06Speaker 5: my taxes? And do I have a steady income? I mean,
- 16:11Speaker 5: like you know, yeah, I got I gotta study income
- 16:14Speaker 5: and I'm cleaning my flight. What I mean what you're
- 16:17Speaker 5: trying to get at, Bro?
- 16:18Speaker 4: Well we'll see, man, what I was thinking. You know,
- 16:20Speaker 4: I just want to read you seem like cool dude
- 16:22Speaker 4: when I saw you at the gym. Man, what I

- 16:27Speaker 4: Man, when I get through with my taxes and stuff,
- 16:30Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to oh about eight hundred dollars. But
- 16:33Speaker 4: now I see if I clean a child as my dependent, man,
- 16:37Speaker 4: they gonna give me about twenty two twenty three hundred.
- 16:40Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying and what I wanted to
- 16:42Speaker 4: get at you about, Man, is you know you let
- 16:45Speaker 4: me clean as my son, you know, so I can
- 16:48Speaker 4: go and get this good money bro.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Love bro, Bro, I mean what all do respect?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Bru?
- 16:54Speaker 5: You're talking about? You want to clean my son on taxes?
- 16:58Speaker 5: Hold on, Bro, I don't even know you you're talking about.
- 17:01Speaker 5: You've seen me at my son's basketball game. You might

- 17:16Speaker 4: see I can get twenty three hundred. Man, I kick
- 17:19Speaker 4: you down to fifty. You understand what I'm saying.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Man, everybody key too fifty?
- 17:25Speaker 4: You crazy?
- 17:26Speaker 5: Now you sound like a joke, bro, because now you're
- 17:30Speaker 5: insult to me. You're telling me you want to clean
- 17:32Speaker 5: my down for some where you owe money. I don't
- 17:35Speaker 5: even know you food So I can make two fifty, Bro,
- 17:39Speaker 5: I ain't trying to be on no, brother. When I
- 17:41Speaker 5: claim my kids, I'm getting the same exact like you getting.

- 17:57Speaker 5: You said, yeah, look out. You know my cut from
- 18:01Speaker 5: forty hours a week to thirteen hours a week, and
- 18:03Speaker 5: I still got these little backs to me for Jordan's
- 18:06Speaker 5: Michael Jordan. They never put it down.
- 18:08Speaker 2: That's why I'm trying to hook you up with two fifty. Man. Damn,

- 18:23Speaker 5: I don't even know you like that.
- 18:25Speaker 2: So, man, you ain't got it. Yeah, you ain't got
- 18:27Speaker 2: a trip. Man.
- 18:28Speaker 5: And if you was my brother, you my people, you know,
- 18:30Speaker 5: maybe we can do a little something. I can understand that,
- 18:32Speaker 5: But bruh, you ain't gonna give me No. Two fifty
- 18:34Speaker 5: when I'm getting the same thing they offering you twenty

- 21:07Speaker 1: and this is a mess right here. Anyway, they walk
- 21:10Speaker 1: back her comments about the race of VP Kamala Harris
- 21:13Speaker 1: after catching a lot, a lot of backlash. We'll talk
- 21:16Speaker 1: about that. We'll also have an update on the Diddy
- 21:19Speaker 1: saga and a new lawsuit that involves witness tampering, and
- 21:23Speaker 1: Howard University makes the Forbes list of top colleges. We'll
- 21:27Speaker 1: talk about all of that coming up at the top
- 21:30Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:32Speaker 1: ask the CLO. This one is from Atia in Richmond.
- 21:37Speaker 1: A Tia writes, I'm twenty four and I took my
- 21:39Speaker 1: fifteen year old sister to the skating rink. I met
- 21:42Speaker 1: a nineteen year old guy that manages the concession stand
- 21:46Speaker 1: at the rink. My mom said I'm too old for
- 21:48Speaker 1: him and it's illegal to date him. It's not illegal,
- 21:51Speaker 1: he's grown, so why shouldn't I date him?
- 21:55Speaker 7: Well, it's not illegal he's nineteen, but twenty four and
- 22:02Speaker 7: you took your little sister to the skating's the thing.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Your ambition led you to the manager or the concession
- 22:13Speaker 7: stand at the ice skating ring roller skating run. Oh.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I say, first of all, kudos to the young brother
- 22:25Speaker 2: for having such a high.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Position, because he's nineteen.
- 22:30Speaker 4: With that.
- 22:30Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, you sister. I mean, I mean, if that's
- 22:34Speaker 7: where you're at mentally, you know you don't. He is
- 22:37Speaker 7: a bit young for you because women mature faster than
- 22:40Speaker 7: men do. So, but if that's your mental level, maybe
- 22:42Speaker 7: you down there so that way, you should you should
- 22:46Speaker 7: be in that playground. Don't because stay out the shark
- 22:50Speaker 7: infested waters. Don't go out in the ocean. You like,
- 22:53Speaker 7: you like swimming in the pond. So go on there
- 22:55Speaker 7: with the little boy, y'all go beat.
- 22:59Speaker 2: What but you know, don't don't. Don't.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Don't be mad for Valentine's Day. If you get some
- 23:05Speaker 7: uh Mary James, that's some good and plenty, that's some
- 23:09Speaker 7: ill duds. Don't don't be upset because that is candy.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't have nothing for her.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Okay, right now, I couldn't even say anything.
- 23:23Speaker 7: No, I mean, what you're dating this boy for? I mean,
- 23:26Speaker 7: what did you see in him, his job, his maybe
- 23:30Speaker 7: he got potential. I don't know why you you lonely?
- 23:34Speaker 2: What's wrong?
- 23:35Speaker 1: I guess there are some mature nineteen year olds, just
- 23:38Speaker 1: like there are some immature twenty four year olds.
- 23:40Speaker 2: But usually they met.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yeah, usually a woman that age doesn't date younger than her.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Not then not twenty four.
- 23:50Speaker 7: You're old woman dating a nineteen year old boy. Man
- 23:53Speaker 7: is really really rare. Yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 1: They used to go, oh yeah, yeah, twenty four year
- 23:58Speaker 1: olds the.
- 23:59Speaker 7: Way around, twenty four year old man, nineteen year old girl.
- 24:02Speaker 7: You see that all the time.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Twenty four year old woman nineteen.
- 24:07Speaker 7: But then you know, you got some school teachers to be,
- 24:09Speaker 7: you know, sleeping with them little boys in the classroom too.
- 24:12Speaker 2: So I don't know what This world is gone crazy?
- 24:15Speaker 7: I mean, I mean no, you know, you hear stories
- 24:17Speaker 7: all the time about teachers, you know, with younger boys
- 24:21Speaker 7: at school.
- 24:22Speaker 2: This world, the world we in now, I ain't surprising nothing.
- 24:26Speaker 1: No more that it's really sad, really sad, all right.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Moving on to Chad and Conyer's Chad writes, I bought
- 24:34Speaker 1: my daughter a pair of Gucci sneakers after she saw
- 24:37Speaker 1: my white shoes. My daughter's mother wore them and posted
- 24:41Speaker 1: pictures wearing them. My wife yelled and screamed at me
- 24:44Speaker 1: over something that I can't control. How is this my fault?
- 24:49Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it ain't your fault.
- 24:50Speaker 6: Man.
- 24:51Speaker 7: You bought it for your daughter, your the baby girl's
- 24:55Speaker 7: mama put him on and posted the same shoes your wife. God. Hm,
- 25:06Speaker 7: Well all I can tell you, bro, is from now,
- 25:11Speaker 7: don't buy your daughter nothing your wife got. That's that's
- 25:15Speaker 7: the only thing I can get because what it looks
- 25:19Speaker 7: like and your wife's mind is you done bought this
- 25:24Speaker 7: half for the same shoes you bought me. That's what
- 25:29Speaker 7: she's thinking.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And it's so not true. I feel sorry for you, brother,
- 25:33Speaker 2: that that's true.
- 25:35Speaker 10: Yeah, the ex the wife can't get past at.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah because they Gucci. Yeah yeah, they could have been
- 25:45Speaker 2: all stars. All right. Uh, your wife cannot know you
- 25:52Speaker 2: bought your ex anything.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Period, period.
- 25:59Speaker 2: All right.
- 25:59Speaker 1: This is for Sherry and dan Berry. Sherry says, I
- 26:03Speaker 1: had a group of friends over and one of them
- 26:06Speaker 1: stopped my toilet up. No one will admit to doing it,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and I had to get a plumber to unstop it
- 26:11Speaker 1: the next day. Whoever did this should pay for it.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I'm mad enough to cut them all off? How should
- 26:17Speaker 1: I handle this?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Well, don't cut them all off because it was just
- 26:21Speaker 2: one person. Yeah, they don't know who got one person? Well,
- 26:25Speaker 2: the scientifically you have.
- 26:31Speaker 7: Of knowing who it was, because you know, you just
- 26:36Speaker 7: got to get somebody somebody who remember who all went
- 26:41Speaker 7: in there? Yeah, and the last person. Okay, let me
- 26:48Speaker 7: ask you a question. Towards the end of the night.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Did you see anybody sweating?
- 26:55Speaker 1: They should have left after they did that?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Somebody like Shirley said, did somebody leave abruptly?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:07Speaker 2: You know it is signed. Did you see anybody that
- 27:10Speaker 2: didn't eat nothing else that.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Matter, process of elimination or drink?
- 27:20Speaker 7: See anybody have a ginger all? Because that is not
- 27:26Speaker 7: a barbecue soda at all. It's just a couple of
- 27:31Speaker 7: things you couldn't look out for. Yeah, anybody over in
- 27:36Speaker 7: the corner rocking back during the night, you saw somebody
- 27:41Speaker 7: in that corner rocking. They was either on their way
- 27:45Speaker 7: or had just come out.
- 27:46Speaker 2: It's them.
- 27:49Speaker 7: Yeah, So don't cut off all your friends because everybody
- 27:52Speaker 7: can't be fashed.
- 27:53Speaker 1: But what is she going to say to them? What
- 27:55Speaker 1: is she going to say to that person you are plumbing?
- 28:00Speaker 6: Bill?
- 28:01Speaker 2: Is that what you want. I saw you in the
- 28:02Speaker 2: corner rocket.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I know it was.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I know it was okay, all right?
- 28:15Speaker 8: Who was in the house not socializing with no back?
- 28:19Speaker 1: That's another one.
- 28:21Speaker 2: You know.
- 28:22Speaker 7: If we got the marine doorbells, just look at it.
- 28:25Speaker 7: Anybody leave at a certain time before it was over
- 28:30Speaker 7: all that?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Who rushing?
- 28:34Speaker 8: Rushing?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:37Speaker 7: And when they got out on the porch in front
- 28:38Speaker 7: of that doorbell, did you see them adjust their pants?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Because you can see it on cameras.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Didn't give away.
- 28:48Speaker 8: Who was overly thankful?
- 28:51Speaker 2: What what do you mean? You appreciate you? Let me
- 28:53Speaker 2: come over here. I show appreciate, thank you so much,
- 28:56Speaker 2: thank you.
- 28:57Speaker 8: Thank you, thank you so much, thank you.
- 29:00Speaker 1: But wow, stuff happens. I guess all right, Colo, thank you.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:07Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 29:12Speaker 1: morning show.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Well.
- 29:15Speaker 1: In an interview with a Guardian last week, Jenna Jackson
- 29:18Speaker 1: co signed conspiracy theories that VP Kamala Harris is not black,
- 29:24Speaker 1: she's Indian and her father was white. When social media
- 29:27Speaker 1: got wind of what Janet said, the backlash got downright
- 29:30Speaker 1: nasty and even called for Janet to be canceled. There
- 29:34Speaker 1: were comments insinuating that her nieces and nephews aren't black,
- 29:37Speaker 1: nor was her brother Michael before he died. The comments
- 29:41Speaker 1: were so horrible that it prompted Janet and her well,
- 29:44Speaker 1: Janet's manager anyway, to issue a statement on Janet's behalf.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Janet Janet's manager wrote that Janet spoke based out of misinformation,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and she deeply respects Vice President Kamala Harris and her
- 29:57Speaker 1: accomplishments as a black and Indian woman and apologizes for
- 30:01Speaker 1: any conclusion, any confusion this caused. Now that was Jennet's manager.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Now Janet and her her real manager, I guess you
- 30:10Speaker 1: could say her authorized manager, her manager for years. Her
- 30:13Speaker 1: brother Randy came out and said that Jenny did not
- 30:16Speaker 1: say that. Janet didn't offer the apology. She didn't say that,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and that man authorized him to release that stem as well, right,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and they fired him. Yeah, jan It. Yeah, she got
- 30:31Speaker 1: a lot of backlash for that, especially yeah right now.
- 30:35Speaker 1: She said that in an interview, yeah, with Guardian magazine.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but she said she hadn't watched the news in
- 30:43Speaker 1: a few days, but since Missing Farms Women because she's
- 30:48Speaker 1: been working. Yeah, at the time, of the interview. She
- 30:52Speaker 1: when she answered the question, she says she hadn't watched
- 30:54Speaker 1: the news in a few days.
- 30:55Speaker 2: So that's what it's one person. Come on, right, and Jackson,
- 31:06Speaker 2: you know, anybody finna do all that? One person? Look,
- 31:10Speaker 2: I mean, come on, y'all.
- 31:12Speaker 1: What matters is that Janet votes for her and gets
- 31:15Speaker 1: her in the White House. That's what matters at this
- 31:18Speaker 1: stage of the game.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Yeah, at this point though, I could care less what
- 31:24Speaker 2: she is.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm more interested in who she is exactly, and she's
- 31:30Speaker 1: been showing us who she is.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Option that we have that we are faced with. It
- 31:36Speaker 2: is cut and dry. And if you just blindly, Now,
- 31:40Speaker 2: if you're going about this blindly, you're gonna.
- 31:43Speaker 7: Vote for Trump because you just you you you just
- 31:45Speaker 7: want to ignore all the signs completely because you think
- 31:49Speaker 7: he's what Because he's not, and he's proven it. And
- 31:54Speaker 7: I wish that the Democrats would harp on this fact
- 31:57Speaker 7: right here when president when Trump was president, he doubled
- 32:05Speaker 7: the debt of America. Oh yeah, and what we're doing
- 32:10Speaker 7: now with this inflation and prices is the is the
- 32:14Speaker 7: ramifications of that. I'm telling you, man, this guy right here,
- 32:19Speaker 7: he ran the company like he runs his business borrow, borrow, borrow, borrow, borrow.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And bankrupt, bankrupt, bankrupt.
- 32:28Speaker 2: And that's how he runs his business. Yes, yes, And
- 32:32Speaker 2: people are ignoring.
- 32:33Speaker 10: That, yeah because he people are remembering when he was
- 32:37Speaker 10: in office, but he was riding off the success of
- 32:40Speaker 10: President all Bombs. So now the biting administration is cleaning
- 32:44Speaker 10: up his mess.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yes, they had, and they had a mess.
- 32:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:50Speaker 1: We're moving on to the ongoing Sean Diddy Coomb's investigation.
- 32:56Speaker 1: This saga here the New York grand jury that indicted
- 32:59Speaker 1: did He. He has been interviewing sex workers that were
- 33:02Speaker 1: hired for Ditty's freak offs, and these workers have provided
- 33:05Speaker 1: details that go beyond the details in the indictment, according
- 33:09Speaker 1: to several news sources, and last week, Don Richards from
- 33:12Speaker 1: Ditty's girl group Dannity Caine, we all remember that group
- 33:16Speaker 1: filed lawsuit against Ditty and revealed that he called or
- 33:20Speaker 1: texted her fifty eight times in four days asking for
- 33:23Speaker 1: her support to say that their sex was consensual. Did
- 33:27Speaker 1: He's attempt to tamper with witnesses and leverage his power
- 33:30Speaker 1: and financial support to keep witnesses from coming forward is
- 33:34Speaker 1: why prosecutors say there was such a big rush to
- 33:37Speaker 1: arrest Ditty and to keep him in federal custody, so
- 33:42Speaker 1: he has those resources to tamper with witnesses, and he
- 33:47Speaker 1: has a huge problems.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Make no mistake about that. He has a massive problem.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he's in trouble.
- 33:59Speaker 2: If you listen to this. It's like I tell people
- 34:01Speaker 2: all the time. I've said this on this show.
- 34:03Speaker 7: People, everybody makes mistakes. God will always give you a
- 34:11Speaker 7: warning shot. He would just not bring you down on
- 34:14Speaker 7: your one offense. You have to double down in order
- 34:18Speaker 7: for God to take his hands off you and just
- 34:21Speaker 7: let it start happening to you. You got to double down.
- 34:23Speaker 7: But when you double down, triple down, quadruple down, you
- 34:26Speaker 7: got to go.
- 34:28Speaker 1: You got to go, man that he continued.
- 34:34Speaker 10: So many people just do what I do because you're
- 34:37Speaker 10: the arrogant, the power, the control that it can.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Happen to you.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I just somehow you're above the low.
- 34:49Speaker 7: What'd you say, Steve, I just saw the picture of
- 34:52Speaker 7: the fifty foot bed in the backyard.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right, we're moving on.
- 35:00Speaker 9: It's a lot of people, Surety, can you just tomorrow, Shirley,
- 35:02Speaker 9: can you just get everybody out the way tomorrow?
- 35:03Speaker 8: Because you won't come back here tomorrow with some more people.
- 35:05Speaker 1: It's a sex for the ongoings. It's a sex work
- 35:08Speaker 1: us today.
- 35:08Speaker 2: What about the valet people tomorrow? Valet people go be
- 35:11Speaker 2: in view tomorrow.
- 35:11Speaker 8: We just need everybody, just please.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard, so let me get to this story.
- 35:17Speaker 1: HBCU Howard University is breaking barriers again by making the
- 35:21Speaker 1: Forbes list of top colleges in America for twenty twenty four.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Known as quote the mecca of Black intelligence since eighteen
- 35:30Speaker 1: sixty seven, Howard is ranked number eighty three overall, surpassing
- 35:34Speaker 1: over five hundred institutions nationwide. For HBCUs, it is a
- 35:39Speaker 1: big deal that Howard was recognized, since Forbes usually only
- 35:42Speaker 1: highlights predominantly white institutions. So congratulations to Howard.
- 35:46Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, you know, yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 1: All right, coming on, we'll have more of the Steve
- 35:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 35:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right. On North Carolina Black Republican Mark
- 36:02Speaker 1: Robinson's campaign for North Carolina governor, a CNN report uncovered
- 36:07Speaker 1: leude comments that Robinson made over ten years ago on
- 36:10Speaker 1: a peorn website. According to a CNN porn website yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 1: porn website. He was on there, Yeah, making all kinds
- 36:17Speaker 1: of comments. This is according to CNN. Robinson had a
- 36:20Speaker 1: profile on the porn site Nude Africa, and he posted
- 36:24Speaker 1: inflammatory comments on the site's message board, saying he is
- 36:27Speaker 1: a quote black Nazi and he used to go peeping
- 36:31Speaker 1: on women at public gyms when he was fourteen years old.
- 36:36Speaker 1: His lude and controversial comments involved race, gender, and abortion issues,
- 36:40Speaker 1: and he openly supported reinstating slavery. He said something like,
- 36:45Speaker 1: bring slavery back, if we bought it, brought it back,
- 36:48Speaker 1: he would buy one. He would buy a few, he says, yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 1: he'd buy a few.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:53Speaker 7: Trump has also supported him very much. Donald Trump will.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Saying he is second coming.
- 37:01Speaker 2: The second coming of Martin Luther King, Martin.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Luther King on steroids. I think, yeah, yeah, I just dude.
- 37:09Speaker 7: Man, because he threw his support behind him. Donald Trump,
- 37:15Speaker 7: don't care who you are if you say you like him,
- 37:18Speaker 7: he liked you. Now he just supported this fool right.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Here, disgusting. Who said it wasn't him? He denied it initially,

- 54:11Speaker 1: a male and a female. We got on the subject
- 54:14Speaker 1: of how hard marriage is, and the man said that
- 54:17Speaker 1: he cannot even remember how good it felt to be cuddled.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Something came over me and I blurted out that I'm
- 54:24Speaker 1: having the same problem. I told them I can't remember
- 54:27Speaker 1: how good it felt to be intimate and to cuddle. Afterwards,
- 54:31Speaker 1: he jokingly said that we should try cuddling together cuddling later.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Then he teased me, asking if he had to get
- 54:39Speaker 1: me drunk first. The female said it would be great
- 54:43Speaker 1: and it might help both of us out. She said
- 54:45Speaker 1: there's no harrm in it unless we have sex. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: told her there's a lot of harm in it because
- 54:50Speaker 1: we are both married. AnyWho, the man showed up at
- 54:53Speaker 1: my hotel room door at ten pm. I was surprised,
- 54:58Speaker 1: but I let him in. I was wearing a robe
- 55:01Speaker 1: and a tank top with panties underneath it. Underneath it,
- 55:04Speaker 1: he was wearing shorts and a wife beater. We cuddled
- 55:07Speaker 1: all night with our clothes on on top of the covers.
- 55:11Speaker 1: He felt so good up against me, and it has
- 55:14Speaker 1: me wanting more. Is it time for me to explore
- 55:17Speaker 1: my options with other men? Or should I try to
- 55:19Speaker 1: work things out with my husband first? Please help well,
- 55:23Speaker 1: I mean two years later, you're thinking about working it
- 55:26Speaker 1: out with your husband. I mean, you know, if your
- 55:29Speaker 1: husband is on the same page, I'm going to always say,
- 55:32Speaker 1: try to work it out first. It's just too easy
- 55:35Speaker 1: to walk away in marriages these days. What about the
- 55:39Speaker 1: commitment you guys made to each other. Now, if it's over,
- 55:42Speaker 1: it's over. I mean it has been two years. I
- 55:44Speaker 1: get that if it's truly over. But in your case,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I think you and your husband have never ever even
- 55:50Speaker 1: tried to fix your issues. You guys just stopped, and
- 55:53Speaker 1: I mean you stopped everything, and you never discussed it.
- 55:56Speaker 1: You never had any communication about it. Nothing. I remember
- 56:01Speaker 1: this because you know, all you say is that he
- 56:05Speaker 1: couldn't get sleep because of his meds. That's all you say.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Was the problem his sleeping patterns was interrupting your sleeping patterns.
- 56:13Speaker 1: So now you're looking outside of your marriage for fulfillment
- 56:16Speaker 1: or cuddling as you say, So, I think you and
- 56:18Speaker 1: your husband should work it out, try to. You know,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you owe that to the marriage. Plus you haven't tried that.
- 56:24Speaker 1: If you don't, it's a wrap your marriage is Steve.
- 56:27Speaker 7: Subject of this letter is I can't remember how good
- 56:31Speaker 7: it felt. Ok I don't believe a damn thing in
- 56:34Speaker 7: this letter.
- 56:37Speaker 1: I really believe.
- 56:38Speaker 5: Any of this.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Now I've done, I will read you the parts I believe,
- 56:43Speaker 2: and then I will share with you where the disbelief
- 56:46Speaker 2: comes in it.
- 56:47Speaker 7: Oh, I'm married, but my husband and I haven't slept
- 56:50Speaker 7: in the same bed for two years.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
- 56:56Speaker 7: I believe that his sleep meds didn't work, and he
- 57:00Speaker 7: would try to watch TV all night. I sleep lightly,
- 57:02Speaker 7: so I told him I need to be the room
- 57:04Speaker 7: to be quiet. He wasn't slept in the other room
- 57:06Speaker 7: two years ago and never came back right there. Last,
- 57:10Speaker 7: think about this for a minute. Sleep mads that don't work?
- 57:18Speaker 7: The hell was he taking? They got some stuff, man,
- 57:24Speaker 7: that can put your ass out to next Friday. They
- 57:28Speaker 7: got some stuff you can take that's damned near the
- 57:32Speaker 7: same thing as anesthesia.
- 57:34Speaker 2: You got to be careful. They got something that worked.
- 57:38Speaker 2: So I find that.
- 57:39Speaker 7: Hard to believe that his sleep mads didn't work, so
- 57:43Speaker 7: he decided to watch TV all night. Who don't need
- 57:47Speaker 7: no sleep? As hard as I work, I got to
- 57:52Speaker 7: have some sleep. And then he went and slept in
- 57:56Speaker 7: the room for two years or never came back. What then,
- 58:00Speaker 7: after the first year, he moved all his clothes into
- 58:03Speaker 7: that room with him. Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 58:06Speaker 7: So he moved out y'all's room, moved all his clothes
- 58:13Speaker 7: into the other room. Ain't nobody know? Nothing was wrong
- 58:17Speaker 7: with this right here? Then after the first year, then
- 58:22Speaker 7: he would come to my bed a few times wanting sex.
- 58:25Speaker 7: But then he didn't want to cuddle afterwards, so I
- 58:28Speaker 7: stopped being intimate with him. Wait a minute, hold of dog.
- 58:32Speaker 7: So you'll just go over there to your wife to
- 58:35Speaker 7: be intimate and then after that no cuddling. Something else
- 58:41Speaker 7: is wrong here. This ain't just no sleep mads and
- 58:44Speaker 7: no watching TV, y'all, something else is wrong here. Now
- 58:49Speaker 7: that's some information missing from this letter. I'm sorry, okay,
- 58:54Speaker 7: because a woman will go over and put you an
- 58:56Speaker 7: eyemask on, lay your ass over there, and go to sleep.
- 58:58Speaker 2: But get about this bed one more time.
- 59:00Speaker 7: What happened? I just know how it go now, she says,
- 59:04Speaker 7: Luckily for me here we go. Luckily for me. I
- 59:08Speaker 7: travel every two months for my job. And I'm going
- 59:10Speaker 7: two weeks at a time. My last work trip was
- 59:13Speaker 7: in July. I was having dinner with two other managers,
- 59:15Speaker 7: a man and a woman. We got on subject how
- 59:18Speaker 7: hard marriage is, and the man says he can't even
- 59:21Speaker 7: remember how good it felt to be cuddle. Some came
- 59:23Speaker 7: over me and I blurted it out. I'm having the
- 59:26Speaker 7: same problem. Now, all this is true. I believe all
- 59:29Speaker 7: this is true. I told him I can't remember how
- 59:31Speaker 7: good it failed to be. Intimny to come down. He
- 59:33Speaker 7: jokingly said we should try cuddling together. He said this
- 59:35Speaker 7: in front of the other women. Hang on, when I
- 59:38Speaker 7: come back, I tell you the rest of it.
- 59:40Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:43Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject
- 59:47Speaker 1: I can't remember how good it felt. Right after this,
- 59:50Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Hard Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 59:54Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I can't
- 59:57Speaker 1: remember how good it felt.
- 59:59Speaker 7: This couple happ m some problem. The problem she stated
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: in this letter is simple. Now, I don't believe nothing
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: in this letter, especially towards the end, that he can't
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: sleep so he started taking sleep mads. They don't work.
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: She sleep light, so he decided to watch TV. She
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: told him to go in the other room. He been
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: gone two years. After a year, he went back in
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: the room and moved all his clothes in the room,
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: caught some sleep meds.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Didn't work. You mean to tell me that in two years?
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: You ain't went back to the doctor and said, bruh,
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: them pills you gave me do not put me to sleep.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: And he ain't got nothing else. Dog, you can go
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: to sleep if you want to.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: They got something. They have something where your ass cause
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: you be slobbling on yourself.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You be cauous.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: So I don't believe that anyway. Every now and then
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: he come to the room to have sex, but he
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: wouldn't want to cuddle afterwards, so she stopped having it
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: with it, so he went back to the room. Not
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: two years now, Hold up, he don't have ed. He
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: don't have y'all. Ain't been there, ain't no infidelity problems.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: You mean to tell me? So he been in that
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: room for two years, not having sex with you, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: he cool with that girl. Bye. It's so much stuff
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: missing in this letter right here. Ain't no man for two.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: Years going in no room, moved all his clothes over there,
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: and ain't having sex with you. He having sex somewhere.
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: And now you say, but luckily for me, I travel
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: for my job. Yeah, and your job when you go on,
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: you going two weeks at a time, and your last
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: trip was in July. You was having dinner with these
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: two managers, a man and a woman, and the subject
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: came up how hard marriage is, and the man said
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: he can't remember how good it felt to be cuddled.
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Something came over me, the letter writer says, and I
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: blurted out, I'm having the same problem what I told him,
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: I can't remember how good to be intimate and couple. Afterwards,
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: he jokingly said, in front of everybody, we should try
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: cuddling later. He said that in front of this woman
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: girl on a business trip. Can I say inappropriate here?
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: But he said that in front of her, and then
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: we should try cuddling later. Then he teased me, asking
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: if I had to get drunk first, all this in
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: front of the woman, and then the other manager said
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: it would be great and help us both out.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: They're just close.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Steve comes swanging ass conversation.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: Boy lady I'm telling you this is where YO letter
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: don't make no sense to me. She said, there's no
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: harm in it unless we have sex. I told this,
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: a lot of harm in it because we both married.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: Any Who here we go, anytime, anytime black person go.
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: Any who he comes from bs right here.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: But that ain't happen. Any Who. You must have been
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: all hell. Listen to this.
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: The man showed up in my hotel room though at
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: ten pm. I was surprised, but I let him in. Girl,
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: You aren't that damn shocked. It's a peephole on most doors.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: You're in ten pm, single woman, a woman, well, don't
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: open her door.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: You let him in. I was wearing a robe, a
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: tank top with some panis underneath. He was wearing shorts
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: and a wife beater.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Oh that's it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: He didn't guess what the next line say. We cuddled
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: all night with our clothes on.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Girl on top of the bed.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: That's a lie, girl, stop on top.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: Of the covers. He felt so good against me, and
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: he asked me, wanting more. Is it time for me
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: to explore my options with other men? Or should I
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: try to work things out with my husband first? Please
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: help girl, what you cannot do is right in to me.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: First of all, you're talking to a person that ain't
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: got no problem lying recognized game. You are not telling
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: the entire truth in this letter. It don't make no sense.
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: This man came to your hotel room ten o'clock at
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: night with a wife beater on and some shorts he
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: ain't want to have on. Nothing that took long time
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: take off. You answered the door with stuff that didn't
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: take a long time cut. So let me ask you something.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: So what made y'all decide to cut on top of
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: the covers?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Huh?
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: You left that conversation out how y'all eventually got on
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: the bed. You forgot that, Dicky. You left that out
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: because you left out all the heavy kissing and rubbing,
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: and you even left out the par where something might
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: have happened, and y'all put y'all clothes on it. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: decided to stay and cut it. You left a whole
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: lot of You ain't just laying on no bed, ain't
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: no dude, ain't trying nothing.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: So wait a minute, Steve, you're saying she didn't open
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the door, and they didn't just go right to the
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: bed and cuddle. That's what you're saying hell no.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: Yea four play somebody best the wall. She said he
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: felt so good up against me. I know exactly how
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: he felt Goodness. All right, he felt good too, Ladies listen.

- 1:09:30Speaker 1: lounge we've never been to so far away from our houses.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: It's because my sister was in there with another man
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: that she's been seeing for a while. I knew about
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: it and stayed out of it. My relative wants to
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: do an intervention with my sister before she loses her family.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't even I don't even like
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: her husband, and I have my own problem. Do I

- 1:10:01Speaker 7: Nope, you can stop right there. You don't owe it
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: to your sister. You don't even like her husband.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Why are you in it?
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: Why are you letting this distant relative? You know what,
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: there's a reason you all are distant relatives remain distance
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: because she ain't none but messy, that's all it is.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: And she doesn't want to get involved. Anyway, She said
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: she has her own problem.
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: And do like Dion Cole said in his comedy special

- 1:10:46Speaker 2: shut up and eat your.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Foot leg.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: To me.

- 1:11:01Speaker 7: at this me at evil place.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Just shut up and put your crown.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: On, all right, see me, I'm talking professed.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: This one is from Maisha in Virginia Beach. May Issha says,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: my husband went to an HBCU and I didn't go

- 1:11:24Speaker 1: to frat parties, tailgating the game and then an after party.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I won a couple of times with him, and I
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: do not get what the hype is all about. Will
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: he ever grow out of this?
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: He's too old as people on now show all three

- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Deep dish pizza, hot Chicago hot you don't know nothing about?
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I just had the pizza in Chicago. I ain't

- 1:17:40Speaker 1: What's on the Well, you haven't lived, Yeah, say that
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: hot dogs are like no other.
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: Chicago Chicago gangster man, that's one of that's one of
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: the best cities.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Yes, that world.
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: You know it. I only spent a little bit of
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: some of that because I know some is only two

- 1:19:41Speaker 9: I don't know how to come at you, and I
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: don't never ask you for nothing. I just want to
- 1:19:44Speaker 9: make sure it's okay time.
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Okay, can you do me a favorite unk?
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: Yeah? What's that?
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: My friend Mama turned seventy five today. Her name Mamma Eunis.
- 1:19:55Speaker 8: She is your biggest fan. And if you come to Houston,
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: she says she will make you anything you want. You
- 1:20:00Speaker 8: say happy birthday to Mamma Unice.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: Well, okay, happy birthday, Mamma Unice, Happy birthday.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Say that nicely.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: She will cook you anything or bake you.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: You sound a little impatient. Okay, happy birthday, Mamma Unite.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Say it nicely, Steve, you could do better, girl.
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: There you go, Mama units Yeah, happy, happy, happy seventy
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: fifth birthday. And when I come to Houston, this is
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: what I want. I want some oxtails. I want Germany
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: chocolate cake, all right, That's all I'm saying. And some
- 1:20:42Speaker 7: peach cobblem.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Oh okay, that sounds delic.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Birthday.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: That was nice, very nice.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Hey, learn let me get into my clothes. Remarks.
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: We all.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: We were having a discussion off air.
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: About relationships and love and the importance of it, and
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: we were talking about somebody and I was saying, this
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: wouldn't even be happening to them if they had a woman.
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: And you know, I stand by that. I've said this before.
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: You can be a successful man without a woman. You can,
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: but you'll never be a great man. All great men
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: have had a woman in their life. If you look
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: through history, if you trace back, all great men, mostly
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: all of them that I know about, have had a
- 1:21:44Speaker 7: woman somewhere. A woman is necessary, man, I'm gonna tell you,
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: because it's lonely at the top.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: To struggle climbing the corporate letter, the social letter, the
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: financial letter, and go home at night and you ain't
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: got a real friend there, somebody to support you, patch
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: you up, build you up, and get you ready to
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: go back out to the battle tomorrow. It's hard. Women
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: have an instinct. Women have an eyesight for people that
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: they love that you don't have yourself. My wife sees
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: things and other people that I don't see. Because I'm
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: so busy trying to accomplish this, I don't see all
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: the little stuff.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: And she catches it.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: You have to have that.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: A woman is absolutely necessary to any man who aspires
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: to greatness.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: So let me just say this. Just think about men
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: who don't have women. Just think about it. Do you
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: know any great ones? I just don't, man, I'm sorry,
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: I just don't.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: Now that's I'm not accusing you of anything if you
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: don't have a woman, nothing like that. I'm just making
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: a general statement. Most great men I know have women
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: in their lives. That's just all to it. Not saying
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: you can't be successful. But guess what, I also think.
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: I think women need men. I am just talking about
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: the basic heterosexual relationship. I don't know about nothing else.
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: I'm not commenting on it. I don't care what you do,
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: live your life however you want to live it. But
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: in the general just makeup of society, women need men.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: But what's wrong with that? Why have we gotten away
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: from we don't need each other? No more? You need
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: a woman.
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: I don't know how you do it without them, man,
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: I just really really doing. I'm sorry what you want
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: me to say. And I know you need a man
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: because it's challenging without them, But we need each other.
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: What's the matter with needing each other. It's okay to
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: need somebody, it's okay to want to be needed. I
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: just I just don't see it, man, I just don't
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: see it. Now here we come, here, we come. I
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: don't need a man that do nothing for me, Okay, okay,
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: then okay. I ain't talking to you then. If you
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: don't need a man, I ain't talking to you. If
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: you don't want a man, I ain't talking to you.
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: If you don't need a woman, I ain't talking to you.
- 1:24:23Speaker 7: If you don't want a woman, I'm not talking to you.
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: I'm just talking to those who find the need for
- 1:24:31Speaker 7: someone else. It's okay, it's okay. It's in the natural
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: order of things.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: For me.
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: I'm just saying for me, it's in the natural order
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: of things. And look, man, we got to get back
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: to celebrating one another. We got to get offline with
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: all this hate.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: We got to stop all this dragging somebody down in
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: a relationship hoping they marriage fail.
- 1:24:55Speaker 12: Nine that that.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I don't know what happened to us, man. We used
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: to pull each other. We used to be selling.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: They've been together ten years. That's good. Congratulations, It's all right.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Do you know it's still okay to cheer for somebody?
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: It's okay to want the best for somebody. It's okay
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: to show empathy for somebody that's going through something. It's okay, man,
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: So listen these closing remarks is simple. If you have
- 1:25:24Speaker 7: a need for a woman, ask God to help put
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: one in your life. If you have a need for
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: a man, ask God to help put one in your life.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: It's okay. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Get offline.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: Listen to all these people. I don't need a man.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: I don't need a woman. Okay, Well what do you need?
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: Because you need something? Anybody answer the question. That's what
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: I thought. Okay, thank you. That's all I had to say.
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: I'll go and make your comments. I'm gonna stand on
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: that window. Y'all have a great day and listen. Talk
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: to God because you do need him for show you.
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: Everybody need him. Man, woman, promiscuous, solid, whatever you are,
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: you need God, get that in your head. Okay, period,
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: Talk to him today. He loved to hear from you.
