- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back. Uh huh, I'm sure will goome on
- 2:03Speaker 1: and everybody, you're listening to the voice, but come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Well, I gotta tell you something, everybody, and
- 2:15Speaker 1: this is great news for everybody that I'm gon share
- 2:20Speaker 1: something with your principle of becoming successful at whatever level
- 2:26Speaker 1: you choose. It can be successful in the relationship, successful
- 2:32Speaker 1: in the family. Successes may be considered to you becoming
- 2:36Speaker 1: a homeowner. It could be being dead free. Your ideal
- 2:42Speaker 1: success could be sixty thousand a year, fifty thousand a year,
- 2:46Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars a year, doesn't matter if you're
- 2:50Speaker 1: considering it, if you're wanting it, if you have a
- 2:54Speaker 1: desire to become successful. I want to share with you
- 2:58Speaker 1: the very beginning of that. If no one's ever done it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm going to say the beginning of it today. See
- 3:06Speaker 1: scripture makes it very clear for us you don't The
- 3:13Speaker 1: only thing you need to become successful is already inside
- 3:16Speaker 1: of you. It's not an external need. God wouldn't do
- 3:21Speaker 1: that to you. He puts the core basis of everything
- 3:26Speaker 1: you need inside of you. So if you discover it,
- 3:32Speaker 1: if you tend to it, nurture it, fertilize it and
- 3:36Speaker 1: water it, it grows, it branches out. Then it reaches
- 3:41Speaker 1: out externally and it starts grabbing things outside of there
- 3:44Speaker 1: to make it even bigger, stronger, better, last longer. But
- 3:48Speaker 1: in the very beginning, you don't need anything. It's all
- 3:52Speaker 1: within you. And if you cultivate your relationship with God,
- 3:58Speaker 1: it comes out, it flourishes. Now, let me tell you
- 4:02Speaker 1: that thing that I'm talking about is a God given
- 4:05Speaker 1: gift that He has given to all of us. We
- 4:08Speaker 1: all possess it. It is all within us that everybody
- 4:13Speaker 1: has a gift. Had somebody told me what I know
- 4:16Speaker 1: now back then, I would have saved myself tons of mistakes.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I just didn't know the principles. I had to learn
- 4:21Speaker 1: them all well. One of the principles of becoming successful
- 4:25Speaker 1: is your mind set. You got to get your mind
- 4:31Speaker 1: right now. This mindset is simply a decision that you
- 4:35Speaker 1: can make. I can't get it for you. I can
- 4:39Speaker 1: tell you what to do, but you got to make
- 4:42Speaker 1: the decision. You that's listening, have to decide. You know what,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on and get at it. I'm gonna
- 4:47Speaker 1: stop writing. I'm gonna become a homeowner. You know what
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna stop living check to check.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna put a budget together. I'm gonna stop
- 4:58Speaker 1: stepping out on my I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna
- 5:01Speaker 1: get it together. I'm gonna stop using you when you
- 5:05Speaker 1: make these decisions. That's correcting your mindset. Now. The closer
- 5:10Speaker 1: connection you have with God, the more help you get
- 5:13Speaker 1: sustaining the mindset. How many times have you started to
- 5:16Speaker 1: do something and you stopped? How many resolutions have you
- 5:19Speaker 1: made at the New Year and stop by February? Over
- 5:23Speaker 1: with by me at January? Done in March. Because if
- 5:29Speaker 1: you don't have a clear connection with your creator to
- 5:32Speaker 1: help you carry out the other force out there, that
- 5:35Speaker 1: evil force is designed to get you, not to reach
- 5:39Speaker 1: your goals, get you not to come to resolution with
- 5:42Speaker 1: whatever the resolutions are you made, so he can cons
- 5:45Speaker 1: You can consider yourself not worthy or failure or unable
- 5:50Speaker 1: to do something. But the more things you are able
- 5:52Speaker 1: to accomplish, the greater your confidence goals grows. So we
- 5:56Speaker 1: got to get your mindset together. Your mindset is a
- 5:59Speaker 1: decision you have to make. When you make the decision,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you can begin the process. Your mindset is also a
- 6:06Speaker 1: will of yours, a will along with the decision, a will,
- 6:12Speaker 1: a willingness to do right, a willingness to change, a
- 6:17Speaker 1: willingness to be better. It's going to then cause you
- 6:22Speaker 1: to have to make a decision to make a change
- 6:25Speaker 1: of direction. Don't go where everybody else going. You got
- 6:28Speaker 1: to go your way now. You can't follow the crowd.
- 6:31Speaker 1: You got to take a less travel path. You cannot
- 6:36Speaker 1: do this without changing your direction. You can't keep hanging
- 6:39Speaker 1: with the people you've been hanging with if you want
- 6:41Speaker 1: to be different because they're not. Then you have to
- 6:45Speaker 1: develop an obligation to yourself. You've got to say, you
- 6:50Speaker 1: know what for me and my family, or if you
- 6:53Speaker 1: don't have a family for me, I owe it to myself.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I have an obligation to myself to be the best
- 6:59Speaker 1: me that I can possibly be, To be the best
- 7:03Speaker 1: self that I can possibly be, to be the best father,
- 7:07Speaker 1: the best man, the best husband, the best wife, the
- 7:11Speaker 1: best mother, the best daughter, the best son, the best student,
- 7:16Speaker 1: the best employ ye, the best owner. You have an
- 7:19Speaker 1: obligation to yourself to give yourself a shot at the
- 7:24Speaker 1: best life you can. That's an obligation. You owe that
- 7:28Speaker 1: to yourself. Why would you not live the best life
- 7:31Speaker 1: that you possibly could. You have an obligation to yourself.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Why would you treat yourself like that? Why would you
- 7:38Speaker 1: take yourself and never allow yourself to see the goodness
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's already in you, to have the abundance that's been
- 7:46Speaker 1: promised to you, to go and explore all the riches
- 7:51Speaker 1: out there that's available to you. And but one of
- 7:57Speaker 1: the worst ways that you can rob your self of
- 8:00Speaker 1: the joy of your obligation is to keep comparing yourself
- 8:03Speaker 1: to somebody else. Because guess what, Man, that ain't your life.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You ain't jay Z and Beyonce, you're not You're not open. Instead, man,
- 8:13Speaker 1: that's not who you are. Quit looking around at everybody else,
- 8:18Speaker 1: that comparison of everybody else to keep you broken it
- 8:21Speaker 1: to keep you unhappy. You won't even be able to
- 8:24Speaker 1: be grateful for what you have because you steady talking
- 8:26Speaker 1: about what you don't have. That's not the way, man.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You have an obligation to yourself to be the best
- 8:32Speaker 1: you you can be, not the best them. You're not them.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Stop trying to be them. Be the best you. It's cool.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You got a nice little house. That's cool. You know
- 8:43Speaker 1: how many big houses is empty and feel with hate
- 8:46Speaker 1: and resentment. I'd rather have a smaller house feel with
- 8:51Speaker 1: joy in it than to go to a big house.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Man Prince got a line in a song that says,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I realized in its best disguise, or at the house,
- 9:00Speaker 1: don't make a home. Man. Don't you know I know
- 9:05Speaker 1: how true that is? So I'm just trying to tell
- 9:08Speaker 1: you now. Another part of the mindset is taking dead
- 9:15Speaker 1: aim at your life's goals and ambitions. What are they?
- 9:20Speaker 1: What are your goals and your visions? What do you
- 9:23Speaker 1: see for yourself? What do you dream about? If you
- 9:26Speaker 1: knew you couldn't fail at whatever it is you were attempting,
- 9:29Speaker 1: what would you go attempting? See? That's what we need
- 9:31Speaker 1: to be after. It's a mindset y'all. It's a decision.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It's a will, it's a change of direction. It's an
- 9:40Speaker 1: obligation to yourself. It's taking dead aim at your life's
- 9:43Speaker 1: visions and goals. Come on, man, you got to get
- 9:46Speaker 1: your mind wrapped around this thing. You owe it to
- 9:49Speaker 1: yourself to live the best life you can be. Come on, man,
- 9:53Speaker 1: talk to God. God got something for you. You just
- 9:55Speaker 1: gotta check in with him. You're listening to show. Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, we got it for you this morning. Hi,

- 27:44Speaker 1: I just hid, but still drove the car for five
- 27:47Speaker 1: and had plenty of miles on it when they finally
- 27:50Speaker 1: took it. No wonder we couldn't. You must have just
- 27:53Speaker 1: been driving continuously all over the states everywhere. Hey, man,
- 28:01Speaker 1: they took my car one time. I got my boys

- 28:42Speaker 1: coming up the Town of the Hour with Steve Harvey
- 28:45Speaker 1: Entertainment of National News right after this. You're listening, Well, Steve,
- 28:53Speaker 1: we all know that you were born in the state
- 28:57Speaker 1: of West Virginia. Well, so I gotta ask you. Did
- 29:00Speaker 1: you see the governor of West Virginia. He is a Republican.
- 29:03Speaker 1: His name is Jim Justice. He dropped a big old
- 29:06Speaker 1: f bomb Steve as he appeared he was in He
- 29:13Speaker 1: was announcing which businesses must follow the state's guidelines before
- 29:18Speaker 1: reopening during the pandemic. Take a listen, remain at home,
- 29:22Speaker 1: but no longer orders them to stay at home again.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I encourage all businesses that are allowed to open to
- 29:29Speaker 1: do so only if they can follow the guidelines to
- 29:33Speaker 1: keep West Virginia's safe. That wasn't gonna slip up. Can
- 29:39Speaker 1: you say he's so tired it is COVID he had
- 29:46Speaker 1: to put him. Listen to me, I don't know whine y'alling.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Ain't listen. We gonna let all the businesses open up
- 29:54Speaker 1: that's posted to be open up now, you can open
- 29:57Speaker 1: up now, listen, keep calling down this office talking to
- 30:01Speaker 1: me about your check. Ain't dann you need money? Well,
- 30:04Speaker 1: we all open up. There's somebody now you can go
- 30:07Speaker 1: down there and work if you want to. It's gonna
- 30:11Speaker 1: be at your own risk. You're gonna called back down
- 30:13Speaker 1: here with us about no money in like that, because
- 30:17Speaker 1: we're not having it in West Virginia. Your sums now
- 30:21Speaker 1: were don't told y'all to stay in the house. That
- 30:24Speaker 1: black woman down there, it runs Atlanta. She didn't told
- 30:28Speaker 1: everybody stay in the house. And I don't normally agree
- 30:31Speaker 1: with blacks, but she's right about that. Damn it. You
- 30:36Speaker 1: want you to go to work, kass On, but don't
- 30:39Speaker 1: called down here again talking to me about a check
- 30:43Speaker 1: and you sick. Now you're gonna get chick if you
- 30:47Speaker 1: go out any right. He did say it was a mistake.
- 30:51Speaker 1: It was an auto glitch, audio glitch. Listen to the
- 30:53Speaker 1: Steve today at her news briefing. There was an audio
- 30:57Speaker 1: glitch and it sounded like that I said a bad word,
- 31:02Speaker 1: a word that I was I would never say, nor
- 31:05Speaker 1: have I ever said, no possibility in any way, shape, form,
- 31:09Speaker 1: or fashion. Now, let me explain that a little deeper. See,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I was talking right now. I was just talking like
- 31:18Speaker 1: I normally do, and the F bomb came out of
- 31:21Speaker 1: my mouth. Yes, and I had said at the news conference.
- 31:25Speaker 1: For clarity, I've never ever said that before at a
- 31:29Speaker 1: news conference. I just want to be clear about that now,
- 31:34Speaker 1: because several people have come out and said, I've heard
- 31:37Speaker 1: you said several thousands of times. But I was referring
- 31:41Speaker 1: to add a news conference. Now you're sing with me
- 31:44Speaker 1: about something that I said that I wouldn't do, and
- 31:47Speaker 1: I didn't do, and I'm trying to get y'all out
- 31:50Speaker 1: of my ass about it now. I had never said
- 31:53Speaker 1: the F bomb at a news conference. Now you're gonna
- 31:55Speaker 1: keeping with me about a news conference when I said
- 31:59Speaker 1: I don't do it news coffering, I don't the reason
- 32:01Speaker 1: I'm doing it now, White, it's because we'en out of news.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you right now, listen to me. Yes, yes, yes, Governor,
- 32:10Speaker 1: hold on now one more time. Let s gover this.
- 32:12Speaker 1: You got thirty seconds here, Gona. The businesses that can
- 32:16Speaker 1: open can go. But if you can't ass down, you
- 32:18Speaker 1: get and sit. We don't want to hear about it
- 32:22Speaker 1: one more time. I don't you agree with blacks, But
- 32:25Speaker 1: Keisha down there in Atlanta, tote it right. Stay asking home,
- 32:30Speaker 1: going down there? What you gotta how bad you want
- 32:31Speaker 1: to see the movie? You're gonna go to see the movie.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Now you're gonna be starting in your own funeral. Well, Governor,
- 32:37Speaker 1: we knew you meant well, okay, whin I did mean well?
- 32:40Speaker 1: And I'm just tired of people I'm calling me about
- 32:44Speaker 1: all this Bush. You just want everyone to be safe, right,
- 32:47Speaker 1: just be safe and quiting calling down here talking to
- 32:53Speaker 1: me about some bush like this. Now ain't time to
- 32:57Speaker 1: end up, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ain Trill, Okay, thank you.
- 33:03Speaker 1: This is a troop with the news and good morning everybody.

- 33:22Speaker 1: was in Arizona, said that it was basically about time.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I'm not saying anything is perfect, and yes, will some
- 33:29Speaker 1: people be affected, yes, will some people be affected badly, yes,
- 33:33Speaker 1: But we have to get our country open, and we
- 33:35Speaker 1: have to get it open soon. Trump says that the
- 33:37Speaker 1: task force has done an incredible job and that it's
- 33:39Speaker 1: time to quote transition back to having our agencies began
- 33:43Speaker 1: managing our national response in a more traditional manner. In Georgia,

- 34:09Speaker 1: claims that Aubrey looked like somebody who'd been burglarizing homes
- 34:12Speaker 1: in the area, although he had no stolen goods on
- 34:15Speaker 1: him or no burglar tools. Two DA's had to recuse
- 34:18Speaker 1: himself in this case because they know McMichaels. He's a
- 34:21Speaker 1: former investigator for the DA's office there, and before that
- 34:23Speaker 1: he was a local cop. No word on when a
- 34:25Speaker 1: grand jury can be in paneled by the way because
- 34:27Speaker 1: of social distancing, and the DA hasn't even specified the
- 34:30Speaker 1: charges he would be seeking. Marine Corps Commandant General David
- 34:35Speaker 1: Burger banning all Confederate symbols from bases all over the world.
- 34:39Speaker 1: The US Marine Corps didn't allow blacks into its ranks,
- 34:41Speaker 1: by the Way, till nineteen forty two. It remains the

- 35:31Speaker 1: believe it or not, Today is National No Homework A Yes,
- 35:36Speaker 1: yes you do not Back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Today is National Nurses
- 35:44Speaker 1: Day everyone, and we have a lot to say about
- 35:48Speaker 1: our nurses. They are just wonderful. Most superheroes we know
- 35:52Speaker 1: where cape some of them wear scrubs, though, like our nurses,
- 35:55Speaker 1: we can't think our nurses enough for taking care of
- 35:58Speaker 1: us our family members. Yes, we love you guys, thank you.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I mean we're indebted to you, and you consistently are
- 36:06Speaker 1: there for us. You're on the front lines that include
- 36:09Speaker 1: sacrificing your own health, working long hours, spending time away
- 36:14Speaker 1: from your own families. And on this day, we want
- 36:17Speaker 1: to just raise awareness of all the contributions and commitments
- 36:21Speaker 1: from our nurses and just to say thank you. Okay,
- 36:24Speaker 1: thank you, thank yeah yeah, yeah, for real, they do.
- 36:27Speaker 1: They do a really bump job you. You don't really
- 36:30Speaker 1: know how valuable they are to you run into situations
- 36:33Speaker 1: like this and then you find out how committed they
- 36:35Speaker 1: are to the health. I didn't know they even said viole.
- 36:38Speaker 1: So let's see, I couldn't be no nurse because I
- 36:40Speaker 1: ain't keep the problems. Yeah, to help people, yes, well,
- 36:46Speaker 1: sickness and in hell. I say it that twice in
- 36:48Speaker 1: a minute. I didn't stay through the past. But you're
- 36:52Speaker 1: the king of commitments. Well stop talking. Well, I'm just
- 36:55Speaker 1: telling you I've been to two winds and say it
- 36:57Speaker 1: two sicknesses of hell, riches in Poland and pay no
- 37:00Speaker 1: attention today, so I know getting well if I'm a
- 37:03Speaker 1: nurse and you're coming in you're too sick. I take
- 37:06Speaker 1: I'm calling it in the ball at that dude down
- 37:10Speaker 1: in two h six. I'm gonna take this week off.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait on him to pass, and then I'll
- 37:19Speaker 1: to all the nurses we love, the great nurses that
- 37:23Speaker 1: are not made like people like us. You have to
- 37:25Speaker 1: be a special person to be a nurse. You have
- 37:28Speaker 1: to be a special person to be to work in hospice,
- 37:31Speaker 1: to work in caregivers, to work in cancer centers because
- 37:35Speaker 1: you're dealing with people who are gravely sick a lot
- 37:37Speaker 1: of time, and you have to be a special person.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Special aid teachers, those are special people that really do
- 37:43Speaker 1: care about people and are able to care about people
- 37:45Speaker 1: on another level. Everybody ain't like that. That's why we
- 37:48Speaker 1: got to give. That's why we have a nurses day,
- 37:50Speaker 1: and why you have people like me, because I'm not
- 37:52Speaker 1: the nurse nor I cannot love. Don't ask me whatever,
- 38:00Speaker 1: Oh hell, what's going on? Tell him how he treats you, junior?

- 38:23Speaker 1: Didn't hung up? Because Junior, I'm famous. I can't be
- 38:27Speaker 1: the last call you had on your phone. They gonna

- 38:37Speaker 1: to him? Steve again, nursing day, Yes we do, thank
- 38:45Speaker 1: you so coming up next to thirty four minutes after
- 38:48Speaker 1: the hour, it's time to ask the CLO. The Chief
- 38:51Speaker 1: Love Officer. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. Well,
- 38:57Speaker 1: now it's time to ask the CLO. The Chief Love
- 39:00Speaker 1: Officer is in the building. Listen. If you have questions
- 39:03Speaker 1: for him, please submit your questions at Steve Harvey FM
- 39:07Speaker 1: dot com. Steve, are you ready? This one is from
- 39:10Speaker 1: dar Daria Yeah in Chicago. She says, I working at
- 39:15Speaker 1: Missions at a hospital, and I met a very nice
- 39:18Speaker 1: man one day when he was visiting. He was a
- 39:20Speaker 1: visiting patient. We went out on our first day, and
- 39:23Speaker 1: our courtship was going really good until the coronavirus hit
- 39:27Speaker 1: our city. I found out I was an essential employee
- 39:32Speaker 1: and I had to go to work every day. Well,
- 39:35Speaker 1: that didn't sit well with the man I had just met,
- 39:38Speaker 1: and he stopped talking to me. Altogether. He said he
- 39:41Speaker 1: couldn't risk it. I think it's just an excuse to
- 39:44Speaker 1: break up with me. He can't get the virus over
- 39:47Speaker 1: the phone. Is he playing games or what? Well, I
- 39:51Speaker 1: didn't know y'all was in a relationship. She said that
- 39:54Speaker 1: she met him at the hospital. Now hear why I
- 39:56Speaker 1: got computed. He was a visiting patient or he was
- 40:00Speaker 1: visiting a patient. He was visiting, okay, And then they
- 40:05Speaker 1: went out a couple of times. And then he found
- 40:08Speaker 1: out that she was a nurse. Yeah, she's an essential employee,
- 40:12Speaker 1: so she had to go to work every day. So
- 40:16Speaker 1: now he breaking up because you know, he's scared, he's uninformed.
- 40:23Speaker 1: He's scared, and healthcare workers are at high risk, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: so he just scared. Y'all ain't had nothing. He looking
- 40:31Speaker 1: for a way out. Let him go. You know, is
- 40:36Speaker 1: he married? Is how old is it? He might have
- 40:38Speaker 1: a pre existing condition old. Yeah, he ain't sick, now
- 40:48Speaker 1: you'll know that. But he might have a pre existing
- 40:51Speaker 1: condition that she don't know about, and he can't run
- 40:55Speaker 1: the risk. Oh, Steve tell her he didn't know what
- 41:01Speaker 1: to the pandemic struck and then she had work all
- 41:05Speaker 1: the time. Now I can't come over, y' how we
- 41:07Speaker 1: in quarantine. Let's break up now. She just wants to
- 41:10Speaker 1: talk to him on the phone. Now, old people are scared.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I think they're old, You think they're old. Okay, all right?
- 41:18Speaker 1: This was from Shelley and she is right here. Huh
- 41:21Speaker 1: see that dog spot? Yeah, that's that moll that's where
- 41:27Speaker 1: it go. But eight right after the strubbery, this right here,
- 41:31Speaker 1: This is right here. Yeah, that's that's the spot right there.
- 41:41Speaker 1: All I don't know does radio? Does radio? Do the
- 41:43Speaker 1: listeners know we on zoom too, even while we're doing
- 41:46Speaker 1: the show in the morning. Do they know we're doing zoom? Yeah?
- 41:50Speaker 1: We have where we can we can Yeah, we'll show
- 41:54Speaker 1: them tomorrow. How about that? And this one's from Shelley
- 41:57Speaker 1: and Shreveport Steve. She says, I am fifty three and
- 42:01Speaker 1: my husband is fifty seven. We've been married for fourteen years,
- 42:05Speaker 1: but we have not had sex in three years. He
- 42:08Speaker 1: developed eed three years ago, and he said he hated
- 42:12Speaker 1: the side effects of the medicine, so he never took it.
- 42:15Speaker 1: The other day, I did laundry and I was putting
- 42:17Speaker 1: his clothes away and happened to see an empty pill
- 42:20Speaker 1: bottle in his sock drawer. I asked him about it,
- 42:23Speaker 1: and he told me he flushed the pills down the toilet.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I don't believe him, and I just find out that
- 42:30Speaker 1: my husband is a cheater. No, no, no, because let
- 42:37Speaker 1: me tell you what happened to a lot of people
- 42:39Speaker 1: a lot of time. You take your peel in anticipation
- 42:42Speaker 1: to saw them happened. Then don't none pop off? Hello,
- 42:46Speaker 1: that's hello, peel gone? And you called out there you're
- 42:51Speaker 1: too strong when you feel like that too. Wait a minute,
- 42:55Speaker 1: why is Junior chiming in? He didn't took one before
- 42:59Speaker 1: we had all these called saying he's at the bob
- 43:00Speaker 1: shop shirt oh for the adding. Yeah, okay, all star.
- 43:06Speaker 1: See they don't fix nothing for women. But let them
- 43:08Speaker 1: man have problem. They got peel for your head. Okay, yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: every man, boy, let me tell you something. All right,
- 43:16Speaker 1: So I know a dude sell black rhino. Who now
- 43:19Speaker 1: what is black rhino? That's black rhino is a sexual peel,
- 43:23Speaker 1: sexual enhancement peel for men. You could take black rhino.
- 43:27Speaker 1: But now listen to the thing about it is ain't
- 43:30Speaker 1: no ain't no writing on the bottle. All right, So
- 43:40Speaker 1: you don't think your husband is cheating, all right, No,
- 43:42Speaker 1: not necessarily not at all. Coming up next nephew in
- 43:45Speaker 1: the building with today's prank phone call. That's right after
- 43:48Speaker 1: this you're listening show coming up at the top of
- 43:54Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 43:57Speaker 1: letter for today's subjects. I have a video mixing in
- 44:00Speaker 1: my garage, and we're also going to get to the
- 44:03Speaker 1: nephew and it's praying phone call for today. But Steve,
- 44:05Speaker 1: you had you wanted to finish up on one of
- 44:08Speaker 1: the seals that's saying they haven't had sex in three years.
- 44:11Speaker 1: She found an empty peel bottle and she thinks hellhoods
- 44:15Speaker 1: the cheetah. That's not necessarily true. But I will say
- 44:18Speaker 1: this about it. What sometimes those pills do have side effects,
- 44:24Speaker 1: but don't nobody give a damn about them side effects.
- 44:28Speaker 1: They tell people, if you have a heart condition, don't
- 44:32Speaker 1: take these pills. Yeah, I know a brother had triple
- 44:35Speaker 1: bypass surgery. Chew them like Chitlets brands making New y'all
- 44:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty this year, mister Reggie, mister Reggie, let's go Hello, Hello,

- 45:07Speaker 1: You're a friend of my mother. Yeah, yeah, mister Reggie.
- 45:10Speaker 1: She's never she's never mentioned me before. No, she okay,
- 45:13Speaker 1: everything cool? Oh no, no, no, your mom is good.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you what's happening. So you
- 45:17Speaker 1: you're getting ready to graduate, you're feeling to get your masters, right, yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I'm giving my mba. Okay. First of all, let me
- 45:22Speaker 1: just say congratulations to you. I'm proud of you. Your
- 45:25Speaker 1: mom been telling me about the whole journey, you know,
- 45:28Speaker 1: from from undergrad to getting your you know, you're getting
- 45:32Speaker 1: your masters in business. So I just want to come
- 45:34Speaker 1: in you and say congratulations. All right, thank you, brother.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I appreciate that. But your mom aint never she ain't
- 45:39Speaker 1: never mentioned mister Reggie to you. Huh no, sorry, bro, Okay,
- 45:44Speaker 1: I got a little a situation that we got here. Man.
- 45:47Speaker 1: You know, I've been seeing your mom for probably you know,
- 45:50Speaker 1: five six years now, and I just that's yeah, yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 1: So it kind of puzzles me that she never brought
- 45:56Speaker 1: up mister Reggie to you. No, No, she never brought
- 45:59Speaker 1: up then, mister Reggie, you know I didn't even know
- 46:02Speaker 1: she is dating. To be honest with you, Okay, So
- 46:04Speaker 1: when you started undergrad, I'm the person that you know,
- 46:08Speaker 1: stepped up and gave your mom some money so she
- 46:10Speaker 1: could put you through school. You know, I knew she
- 46:13Speaker 1: needed some money to get you through school and started out,
- 46:16Speaker 1: you know, like I guess around your freshman year. So
- 46:18Speaker 1: I stepped up and you know, helped your mom out. Man,
- 46:21Speaker 1: this is bugged out, bro, because hold on, you're telling
- 46:24Speaker 1: me you gave my mother the money because she told
- 46:26Speaker 1: me she got a couple of actra jobs on the
- 46:28Speaker 1: side to get some money the face for school. I'm
- 46:31Speaker 1: the person that stepped up and through your undergrad I'm
- 46:36Speaker 1: the one gave your mom the moneys for you can
- 46:38Speaker 1: go to school. And I knew when you graduated from
- 46:42Speaker 1: undergrad and then she came back told me you're getting
- 46:45Speaker 1: ready to do grad school and I stepped up some more.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Here's one I'm getting that. Man. I'm not even calling
- 46:50Speaker 1: mister Reggie, mister Reggie and called you want me to
- 46:52Speaker 1: give you some money when I get a job. No, No,
- 46:57Speaker 1: nothing like that. So here's a deal. Man, I didn't
- 46:59Speaker 1: get your mom all this money for six years. Now
- 47:02Speaker 1: here it is now you've been to graduate. And now
- 47:05Speaker 1: that you've been to graduate, she called herself, want to
- 47:08Speaker 1: break up with me? So, bro, I mean, I don't
- 47:11Speaker 1: know nothing about that. That's between y'alls. B I mean,
- 47:14Speaker 1: what do you want me to do? What I want to? Have?
- 47:16Speaker 1: You heard your name before, so I mean, and I
- 47:19Speaker 1: understand that. But what I'm saying, what I'm getting that
- 47:21Speaker 1: is just right here. I would like for you to
- 47:22Speaker 1: least call your mama and say something to on my
- 47:26Speaker 1: behalf because you know, come on, man, I didn't put
- 47:28Speaker 1: six years in put you all the way through school
- 47:31Speaker 1: and now tell your behalf. I really don't I mean,
- 47:34Speaker 1: I don't know you. I mean, what do you want
- 47:37Speaker 1: me to say on your behalf? But you don't understand
- 47:39Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you. David, mister Reggie and
- 47:41Speaker 1: stuck his neck out for you for the last six years.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. Listen, man, I don't even
- 47:47Speaker 1: know you. You calling me out the blue talking about
- 47:50Speaker 1: you gave my mama some money and then went up
- 47:51Speaker 1: for five years. I don't know you I never heard
- 47:54Speaker 1: your name, never heard of mister Reggie. You just called
- 47:58Speaker 1: me out the blue. It's some trippy right now. Man, Okay, okay,
- 48:01Speaker 1: I understand, understanding, But look look at author you call
- 48:05Speaker 1: your your ex girls fun like come on, hold on,

- 48:15Speaker 1: up up to up to lands week, up to last week.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I didn't paid for you to go to school six
- 48:22Speaker 1: years now here it is she want to break up
- 48:24Speaker 1: with me. I don't know about that, man, Like I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't know why y'all broke up. I don't know nothing
- 48:28Speaker 1: about that. Maybe and then you called me out the
- 48:31Speaker 1: blue and I don't even know you. She never mentioned you.
- 48:33Speaker 1: At least you at least you can do what's called
- 48:36Speaker 1: on my behalf and say, hey, what's going on with you?
- 48:38Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna have I don't know who you are. I'm
- 48:42Speaker 1: the person. I'm the person and put your little lads
- 48:44Speaker 1: through schools. Hey, the check that went to the school,
- 48:47Speaker 1: we had my mama's name on them. Not no, damn

- 51:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Mornings. Yo, your boy Jarvis got me the

- 53:36Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Oh wait till you hear
- 53:38Speaker 1: this one. Subject. I have a video vixen in my garage.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a thirty year old man
- 53:47Speaker 1: and my wife is twenty eight. I was recently laid
- 53:50Speaker 1: off due to the pandemic, so money has been a
- 53:52Speaker 1: little tight because of it. My wife is making me
- 53:56Speaker 1: feel less than a man. We have a two year
- 53:59Speaker 1: old child and she is a stay at home mom,
- 54:01Speaker 1: so I am the sole breadwinner. My wife's attitude has
- 54:05Speaker 1: been horrible for weeks, so I have been avoiding her
- 54:09Speaker 1: and to avoid arguing with her, I watched TV in
- 54:13Speaker 1: our bedroom and then go to sleep before she comes
- 54:15Speaker 1: to bed so I don't have to hear her smart remarks.
- 54:19Speaker 1: This past Friday night, I woke up at three from
- 54:22Speaker 1: three am and my wife was not in bed. I
- 54:25Speaker 1: could not find her anywhere in the house, so I
- 54:29Speaker 1: went to the garage to see if her car was gone.
- 54:32Speaker 1: I was surprised to see a camera set up a
- 54:36Speaker 1: rug and a couch from our basement and my wife
- 54:40Speaker 1: naked doing all kinds of freaky things to herself in
- 54:44Speaker 1: front of the camera. WHOA. I yelled to her stop
- 54:48Speaker 1: it and asked her WTF was going on. She told
- 54:53Speaker 1: me to get out. She ran to turn the camera off,
- 54:58Speaker 1: she said. She said she didn't want me to find
- 55:00Speaker 1: out this way, but she started her own business and
- 55:04Speaker 1: I need to either get with the program or get
- 55:06Speaker 1: out of the garage. She created her own homemade porn
- 55:10Speaker 1: site and she gets paid to do freaky stuff online.
- 55:15Speaker 1: She told me it is a very lucrative business and
- 55:18Speaker 1: everyone's doing it, male and female. I was stunned, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: I dared her to keep doing it over my dead body.
- 55:27Speaker 1: She told me that she's doing this for our family,
- 55:30Speaker 1: and she even invited me to join in because couples
- 55:33Speaker 1: can earn at least five hundred dollars per night. I
- 55:37Speaker 1: was so turned on by the freaky stuff she was doing.
- 55:41Speaker 1: But this is my wife. What if my homeboys see her?
- 55:44Speaker 1: I need the money, but this isn't right. What should
- 55:48Speaker 1: I do? What? No? I did not crazy? Listen, I
- 56:00Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you about your excuse me,
- 56:07Speaker 1: get your wife? I mean, really, you gotta get her.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Your wife is ratched. Seriously. I don't mean to judge her,
- 56:15Speaker 1: but I am judging her. Okay, I really am. I
- 56:17Speaker 1: know you're not supposed to, but I'm judging. Okay. I
- 56:20Speaker 1: don't get it. I don't get it. I don't understand this.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Of all the things she could be doing, why, why this?
- 56:28Speaker 1: Why porn? Why her own porn website? And did you
- 56:32Speaker 1: know about any of this? She said it's lucrative, but
- 56:35Speaker 1: she hasn't shared any of the money because you would
- 56:37Speaker 1: have said that she sound like you, sound like, I
- 56:41Speaker 1: should say, a really good husband who, like most everyone
- 56:45Speaker 1: right now, we're suffering financially, emotionally, every kind of thing
- 56:48Speaker 1: you can imagine during this pandemic. And uh, you know,
- 56:53Speaker 1: we know that it's putting a strain on marriages and
- 56:56Speaker 1: relationships because we talk about a lot on this show,
- 56:58Speaker 1: but driving wives to do porn, to be porn stars,
- 57:04Speaker 1: we haven't talked about that. I don't think the pandemic
- 57:06Speaker 1: is responsible for that. This is a first right here.
- 57:10Speaker 1: When you caught her red handed and she said she
- 57:14Speaker 1: didn't want you to find out this way, here's my question.
- 57:17Speaker 1: How would she have preferred you to find out? And
- 57:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't believe she was ever going
- 57:23Speaker 1: to tell you about what she was doing, because I
- 57:26Speaker 1: don't think she thinks she's doing anything wrong. Based on
- 57:29Speaker 1: her response when you caught her, she asked you to
- 57:32Speaker 1: join in because she said couples can make five hundred dollars. Really,
- 57:36Speaker 1: I think your wife needs help. And there I go
- 57:38Speaker 1: judging again, but I am judging on this one. I
- 57:41Speaker 1: think she needs help. This is going to ruin your marriage,
- 57:44Speaker 1: it really is. And no self respecting husband would put
- 57:50Speaker 1: up with what she's doing and agree to allow his wife,
- 57:54Speaker 1: no self respecting one, to do this for the world
- 57:57Speaker 1: to see and yeah for his boy. Come on, now, crazy,
- 58:05Speaker 1: it's one of the crazies. It's crazy. Yeah. Well, you

- 59:05Speaker 1: so you can get your ass in bed with the
- 59:08Speaker 1: two year olds. Okay. See, that's why she's making you
- 59:11Speaker 1: feel less than a man, because she needs she needs
- 59:14Speaker 1: you to feel like a child, so you can get
- 59:16Speaker 1: in that bed with that two year old. Because hands

- 1:00:11Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters. Subject, I have a video vixing in
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: my garage. Now, folks, I'm answering this letter, but as
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I go through the letter, already know what she's doing
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: in the garage. So I'm answering the letter as we
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: go because it's a crazy letter. Just how to be crazy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Thirty old man, My wife twenty eight got laid off
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: because of the pandemic. Money tight. My wife is making

- 1:00:38Speaker 1: called she wants you to feel like a child. So
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you can gonna get your ass to sleep, because she
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: got something to do in this damn garage. We have
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: a two year old and you the other baby. She
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: is a stay at home mom, so I am the
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: sole breadwinner. That's what you think. That's what he thinks.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: He has sold bread winner. You better go outside and
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: looking at damn garage because there's some bread winding going
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: on out there. My wife's attitude that's been horrible for weeks.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: That's because she tied. When you don't get proper rest,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: your asses edgy. That's true because she know why, because
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: she out in the garage all night. So I have
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: been avoiding her. She don't care. Ain't nobody else afar
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: They looking for you avoiding her, and they're looking for
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I watched TV in our bedroom, but it's to me
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: in aday house watching their computers and guess who won it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Then I go to sleep before she come to bed.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: She ain't coming to bed. She gotta go get dressed,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: got to pull that cow night. The natives are trying
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to figure out why she keeps getting in this college
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: damn housecoat on and don't go nowhere. She and the
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: setting the studio up this press Friday night. I woke
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: up three am. Your wife wasn't in bed. I couldn't
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: find her anywhere, So I went to the garage to
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: see if her car was gone. It was gone. It
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: wasn't in there, it's outside in the front. You pull
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: it out every night. I was surprised to see a
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: camera set up in a rug and a couch from
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: our basement. She has strong, little help for two dragged
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that couch about that damn basement and you didn't know it.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: She's a strong she's strong. She's doing some tricky stuff
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: on that couch. Yeah, and you drag a damn couch
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: up out of basement, buy your damn self, and your
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: husband didn't know it was in the garage. Who are
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you strong? You know the two your old baby didn't
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: help every other quarantines or ain't nobody over there? She
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: loved that damn I'll tell you how she did it.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: She tied a rope on the bottom of the couch,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: tied it to the bump of the corn. When she bad,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: that was like it pulled up to scare. That's what
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I yea all this stuff for taking. So you walked
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: in there, that's funny. Yeah, your wife is naked doing
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: all kinds of freaking things to herself in front of
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the camera. And let me tell you something else too,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: dog reason she doing something to herself is called we quarantine. Yes,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: but she gonna get good at this. You're gonna mess around.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: He's gonna be some people in the next Friday. So
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: soon as they released these restrictions on social distancing, she
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: she getting ready to become a bigger star. Okay. She
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: told me to get out and she turned the camera.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: She said she didn't want me to find out this way,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: but she just started home business. I need to get
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: with the program or get out to grod. She had
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: created her own homemade pawing sight and she gets paid
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: to do freaking stuff online. She told me this a
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: very lucrative business, and everyone is doing it. Who is everybody?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I ain't doing it. I'm not for sure ain't doing it.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Ain't none of the ladies on the show doing Who
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: is Anybody's amazing when people get but everybody doing it? Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: well I only caught your ass right miss Ernestine crossed
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the street. I don't think she's doing it. What is
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: we're talking about? You doing it? I was stunned, and
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I dad her to keep doing it. She jumped right
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: back on that couch right in front of her. I'm
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: doing it? What you gonna I'm doing it? What about it?
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: What about it? She told me. And if she keep
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: doing it and I dad her over my dead body,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: she told me she was doing it for our damn it, bro,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I dare you come in here? I'm in here leaning
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: over my legs open in front of the camera for
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: our family, and you in here tripping? How you thank you?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: And that baby upstairs is eating? How sitting up here there?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I gotta should have been pulled this card every damn
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: knife and just roll on nave looking at me out
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: of drug, that damn couch up of the basement, tow
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: all the balansters off the stairway, and your yo lays
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: ass ain't even seen that it wasn't no more balanceters
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: leading that the railing had gotten toe off when I
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: pulled it up by the bump of the car. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: now your ass said complaining, if your fat ass wasn't
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: sitting at the house, you go down there and see
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: we didn't have a railing coming up the steps no
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: more because I tow it out, pulling the car out
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: with the bumper. Owner can get the couch up in here.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: That ain't a couch. That's a scene. Crazy ass to
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: get this rug up here and everything. You don't pay
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: attention to me, and if you come on and join
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: in with me, we can earn at least five hundred
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: a knight. O. There's a poor ass. It is all right.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Poster comments on today's Strawberry Letter. I have a video
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: vixen in my garage couch about that base mister. Posted
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: on Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up at
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour. We're going to get
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a little bit serious here. This is a man a
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: devastating story. We'll tell you about the trending story of
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: a Georgia modern day lynching. Right after this you're listening
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The Georgia District Attorney
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: said a grand jury should be convened over the fatal
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: shooting of a mod Arbory. A mod Arbory is a
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: twenty five year old black man who was out for
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: a jog in the neighborhood just outside of Brunswick in
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Glenn County when he was chased and killed by two
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: white men. This was all caught on video. Neither man
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: was arrested. According to the police, report, which came out
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: February twenty third, four year old George McMichael and his son,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: thirty four year old Travis, saw mister Arbury running through
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: their neighborhood and thought he looked like the suspect in
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a rash of nearby break ends. They chased mister Arbury
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: in their truck. There was a confrontation and Travis the
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: sun shot the victim, mister Arbury, twice with a shotgun
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: and killed him dead. Wow. Civil rights activists are calling
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: this a modern day lynching. This is a graphic video.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: There is a graphic video online that shows the shooting.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: It was made by a third man in another truck
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: who may have been a part of this heart pursuit.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: That's not really clear to authorities yet. These suspects all
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: have professional ties to the District Attorney's office and that's
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: why up until now they have not been charged. Is
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: this crazy? Is a horrible right here? You know what?
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: And black people are so sick this because folks, I
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: don't kill who you are. You don't shape this story.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: This doesn't happen to white people. White people can job
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: whoever they want to and don't mindy just pull up
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: and kill them because you look like you rob something.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: This happens to black people repeatedly, man, and it's because
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: of this deeply embedded racism that so many people have
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: towards black men. Are you, our young black men are
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: not safe in this country called America? And I'm sorry, man,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: but this never happens to white people. It only happens
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: to us. So what you want us to do? And
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: then every time we get in the uproar, we want
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: to protest that they go again. Now that y'all go again, Yeah,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you didn't killed another one and now another one is dead,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: and not what y'all gonna do? And this happened in February.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Why it's just not coming. It's man, it's may you
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: know why? Because he from the District Attorney's office. They
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: were trying to figure out how how they was going
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: to roll this out. But two of the guys that
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: was in that was next in order for the prosecutor
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: had to recuse himself because they knew him. The only
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: reason this is taking this long because they trying to
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: figure out how they're gonna shape this story and get
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: their act together. So when they send it to a
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: grand jury and a grand jury. Don't get excited, folks,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: because a grand jury, I thought was this specially gathered
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: group of judges and stuff. Nah, it's twelve registered voters,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: a jury of your peers who don't really do well
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: when it come to us. Let many times at sixty
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: three I've had to hear this. Yeah, yeah, Well, we'll
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: get back into it, Steve, coming up at the top
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: of the hour. We'll have more on this story right
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve. Before
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: the break, we were talking about this trending story of
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: this Georgia modern day lynching. It was the fatal shooting
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: of a black man. The name is Ahmad Arbory, twenty
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: five years old. He was simply jogging through a neighborhood
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: and these white men, these a father's son, father and son,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: chased him down. There was a confrontation with mister Arbery
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: and the son, the young son, Travis McMichael, shot and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: killed Ahmad Arbory on the spot. There's a graphic video
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: of the shooting. It's been released. But that was back
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: and this happened back in February. This is now May.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: As we were saying before the break, the Georgia District
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: attorney now wants the grand jury to convene to decide
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: on criminal charges. Why don't they take it in their
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: own hands to decide when they not the police? Yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: because he's a black man. Yeah, and they think they
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: have that right. And he's an investigator for the district attorney.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: The father George McMichael. So, I guess he was like,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: we're gonna make a citizen's arrest. I guess that's this
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: attitude that they had. They even called nine one one
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: and the dispatcher asked them about mister Aubrey. What is
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: he doing that's a criminal activity? Now, according to the
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Aubrey family attorney, these guys, these suspects, they did not
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: answer the dispatcher's question because they take matters into their
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: own him. You know what, surely you said this man
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: was simply jogging. You know, it's the word simply that
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: gets us killed all the time he was simply jogging.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: There was another black man in Dallas that the police
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: officer knocked on his door to his apartment. He simply
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: opened the door to his apartment and his ass is gone.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: How many times has a brother been pulled over simply
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: because of a traffic violation and a cop shoot him.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: How about the brother that was killed because he was
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: simply on his cell phone. How about the black man
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: who was simply in his grandmother's backyard going around to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the back door and he got killed. How about the
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: little boy that was simply going to the store to
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: get an iced tea and some damned skittles and he
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: got killed by George Zimmerman. How do you think black people,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey being one of them, is supposed to continually
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: hit this type of thing and not help. But some
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: cool ass, Well, well, Steve, that ain't all white people.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I ain't talking about all white people. I'm talking about
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: something that only happens to black people. And we're sick
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: of it, and we're sick of y'all finding a way
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to coverage. And this puck ass man because he a
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: district attorney and he got friends. This happened in February.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: They are trying to piece their story together, discredit this
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: young man, find some false witnesses, find something they can
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: put together on tape. But let me tell you something.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: This man and his son that pulled the trigger and
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: shot this man supposed to go to prison because if
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: you drove the truck or pull the trigger. If you
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: were there for the murdering order, you are accessory to
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: the crime. This is how this works for white folks.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: We're tired of it not working for us. Let me
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: reverse something. A white man is jogging down the street.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Two black dudes pull over and kill it. What happens
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: to the black dude? We automatically know the black cops.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. The black cop that messed
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: up and shot that white woman. Yeah, back to car.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: What happened to his black ass? He gone? So if
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: what don't know? White people don't pull their cell phone
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: out and get shot by the damn police. Yeah, this
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: don't ever happen. Man. White people don't open their door
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and the police shoot their ass in their own apartment. Simply, man,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: you you you if you don't think black people are
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: infuriated with this, and you know y'all y'all make me
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: sick with your counteracts to Black lives matter. Well, white
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: lives matter too. We didn't say they didn't the problem.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: We're killed in the streets for simply jogging like we
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Black people won't. They lives to matter also, just like
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: everybody else's, and we get tired of when you go
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to the justice system, it don't be no damn justice.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: So we don't care none about your little funky ask
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: grand jury. You ain't got to run this up to
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: poll to no grand jury. You know this ain't right.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Press charges. Yeah, they're gonna stack the jury. All right.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening show. All right? So,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: have you guys um seen first Lady Michelle Obama, who,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: of course will always be our first lady. Have you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: seen her Becoming? Her Netflix documentary? Have you seen the
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: trailer for that? I did? I did see it? Yeah,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: looks good. All right, Well, she's a subject of a
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: brand new documentary. It's called Becoming, which of course is
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the title of her best selling book. It chronicles her
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: cost country book tour. Huh. It chronicles ther best coming
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: her her best selling book, when she was on tour
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and everything when she was cross country selling the book
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: promoting the book. It offers a rare and very intimate
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: look at her as she takes viewers behind the scenes
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: of her public life. The documentary also includes rare comments
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: from missus Obama's daughters, twenty one year old Malia. What
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: an eighteen year old Sasha? Where did the time go?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Malia was ten when their father, Barack Obama was elected president,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: and of course Sasha was just seven. What did you say?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I don't know where that came from. Age. I just
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: want to apologize to crazy. Becoming will mark one of
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the first times the Obama family shows their personal life
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: in such a candid way since they left the White
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: House back in twenty sixteen. We'll have more of the
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up and some trending news
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: we all know that you were born in the state
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: of West Virginia. Well, so I gotta ask you. Did
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you see the governor of West Virginia. He is a Republican.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: His name is Jim Justice. He dropped a big o
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: F bomb Steve as he appeared. He was in He
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: was announcing which businesses must follow the state's guidelines before
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: reopening during the pandemic. Take a listen, remain at home,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: but no longer orders him to stay at home again.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I encourage all businesses that are allowed up to open
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: to do so only if they can follow the guidelines
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to keep West Virginia safe. That wasn't Anna slip ups.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: You say he's so Tireded is COVID He he had
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: to pull it. Listen to me. I don't know wine,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: y'all ain't listen. We're gonna let all the businesses open
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: up that's supposed to be opened up. And you can
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: open up now, listen, because keep calling down this office
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: talking to me about your check ain't there and you
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: need money, Well, we all open up. It's somebody now
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: you can go down there and where if you want to.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: It's gonna be at your own risk. You're gonna call
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: back down if come with us bout no money in
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: like that, because we're not having it in West Virginia. Sums. Now,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: we're gonna told y'all to stay in the house. That
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: black woman down there that runs at Lana, she'd have
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: told everybody standing the house, and I don't know them
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: to agree with blacks, but she's right about it. That
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: damn it. You want you to go to work? Kass
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Home called down here again talking to me about a
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: chick and you sick so you gonna get a chick
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: if you go out any right, But he did say
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: it was a mistake. It was an auto glitch, audio glitch.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Listen to the Steve today at her news briefing. There
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: was an audio glitch and it sounded like that I
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: had said a bad word, a word that I was
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I would never say, nor have I ever said, no
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: possibility in any way, shape, form or fashion. She I
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: was talking right, and the F bomb came out of
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: my mouth. Yes, for clarity, I've never ever said that
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: before at a news confidence Governor. I just want to
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: be clear about that now because several people have come
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: out and see it. I've heard you said several thousands
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: of times. But I was referring to add a news
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: conference with me about that. I said that I wouldn't do,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and I didn't do, and I'm trying to get y'all
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: out of my ass about it now. I had never
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: said that if bomb at a news conference. Now you're
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: gonna keep with me about a news conference. When I
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: said I don't do it at news conference, I don't
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: the reason I'm doing it now what it's because we
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: ain't add a news coming up. It's our last break
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: of the day, This last break of the day, and
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey will have some closing remarks coming up at
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. That's right after this.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we are,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a decent day
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: until we got to the story about the young man
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: that was simply jogging. That just it's just so much
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: going on watching the news and Flint, Michigan. The security guard. Yeah,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: it's just and we're still under this pandemic, and it's
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: why can't we love each other that we don't have
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: each other back on nothing? No, we don't and we don't.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: All right, Steve, I know you have a mouthful you
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: know today Huh? Like you said, you know, we dealt
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: with this, so we're dealing with the pandemic as this everyone.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Then on top of all of that, blacks, black on
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: black crime still existing, Like the pandemic ain't enough. So
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: what happened to this father of eight in Michigan, in
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Flint for doing his job as a security guard, just
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: telling a woman, sim hey, the rules are you have
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: to wear your mask while you're in the Stomam. She
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: gets insulted, goes home, feel like she got disrespect to
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: tell somebody. They come back to the store twenty minutes
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: later and killed this man, father of eight. On top
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: of the pandemic, and then on top of that, here
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: we go again. A twenty five year old black man
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: in Brunswick, Georgia is out for a jog. These two
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: white men, father and son, decide that he is fitting
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: the description of someone who's been breaking in homes. Well,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: he ain't had no TV on his arm while he
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: was out jogging, and he didn't hand no tools of
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: breaking an entering in his hand, and he did not
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: have a weapon. He was shot twice by a shotgun
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: in February, and we're just now getting the news in
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: March because his father is involved with the prosecutor's office,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and so now two prosecutors have had to read used
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: themselves from the process because there and now this other
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: guy has said it's going to a grand jury. You know,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I don't I don't really know all how this works.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: But why is it that when a white person in
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: authority kills a black person, we have to have a
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: grand chury jury to decide if it goes to trial
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: or police officer. But if a black person kills a
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: white person, I ain't ever heard of it having to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: go to the grand jury. I just see charges getting pressed.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: We live in a world that is we're in a
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: fallen situation here and the world we live in and
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: it's not me being a negative person. It's just getting
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: worse because the devil is busy man, and you have
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: to understand he is sitting there and he's got so
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: many people willing to do his bidding. They are called imps,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: and he can call over them and they can show
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: up in social media, they can show up in politics,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: they can show up in the White House, they can
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: show up at your house, they can show up at
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: your schools. With at AK forty seven, they can show
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: up everywhere the world that's getting worse. Those of you
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: who are people of faith need to hold on to
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: that faith. You need God, man, you really do. You
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: need a God that can help you handle, deal and cope,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: survive and thrive in these difficult times. That's what God is.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: For God is not just to get you through. God
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: is to get you through, to get you over, and
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to get you beyond. That's what the power of God
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: is about. Man, and look, I just happen to be
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: a person of faith. Am I a perfect person? Not
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: by a long shot. But I tell you what, though,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I got enough sense in me to go to God
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: in these pressing times. I'm not gonna allow what's happening
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: in the White House to get into my house. I'm
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: not going to allow to hate this out there in
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: this world. To fulfill my life and my destiny. My children's,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: my friends, my listeners, my coworkers, my fans, anybody I
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: can motivate and inspire to be better, do better, have better,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: won't better, get better, have more with the use of
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: prayer and God. I'm gonna say it on all of
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: my platforms. If you watch me carefully, you can say
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: what you want to say about me. But when I
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: get a chance to slide in a little bit of
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: something about God Almighty, I take that opportunity. And you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: know why I do it, y'all, Because when I was
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: down and out at the bottom of my life, living
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: in that car, I made a promise to God that
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: if he let me make it, when I get there,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I was gonna tell everybody it was him. Because you
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: know why, Because I have no other explanation. I have
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: nothing else I can tell you about who I am
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: or why I am. I have nothing for you except
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: grace and mercy. I ain't got nothing else for you.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: It ain't that I was the funniest, the most powerful,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the most talented, the most gifted. I ain't never been
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: none of that. If it was not for God's mercy
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: and grace in my life, I would be nothing. Why
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: don't you go to that? Because see, everybody can qualify
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: for that. Everybody qualifies for grace because guess what, you
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: can't purchase it. You can't purchase grace. God just gives
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: you that, and it gives you favor. You know, somebody
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: told me the other day, he's a man. Your life
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: just you just full of favor. I said, I appreciate
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: that he's a man. Favor ain't fair, and you know
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: what he was right. Favor ain't fair. It's just favor.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: You know how many people that got favor that you
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: figured didn't deserve it? You know why, because favor ain't fair, man,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: it's just favor. That's why I just ask God all
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: my prayers every j if you could just give me
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: a little more grace and favor that'll be all right
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: with me. It's better than all of my efforts combined.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: You need God, y'all quit tripping. Talk to God. He'd
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: loved to hear from you. Those are my closing remarks. Hey, listen,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: we're gonna be all right, y'all hanging out. We'll see
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: you tomorrow. I'd like to say half a great weekend.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: But hey, it's just like every other day now, my
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Sandy with Jes like my Monday. For all Steve Harvey contests,
