- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show you
- 2:11Speaker 1: know today. I was thinking of what I would say
- 2:14Speaker 1: today and it just dawned on me this way, and
- 2:17Speaker 1: I just want to share this with everybody listening. You've
- 2:20Speaker 1: got to get some help to make it through life.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I cannot imagine where I would be if it was
- 2:27Speaker 1: not for the help of my God, if it wasn't
- 2:31Speaker 1: for his grace and mercy, if I did not have
- 2:34Speaker 1: the ability to lean on him and all the times
- 2:38Speaker 1: I've had to lean on him, which has become a
- 2:40Speaker 1: daily basis. I have no idea where I would be,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but clearly I know for a matter of fact, I
- 2:47Speaker 1: would not be here today. You have got to get
- 2:50Speaker 1: some help to get through this thing. Called life. I
- 2:53Speaker 1: am begging you to look into it. Man, you've got
- 2:56Speaker 1: to form a relationship with God. Without a relationship with God,
- 3:01Speaker 1: this thing called life is daunting at times. I don't
- 3:04Speaker 1: care who you are. I know I'm speaking the truth
- 3:06Speaker 1: right now, because listen, no matter who you are, what
- 3:11Speaker 1: job tighter you have, what aspirations you may have, I
- 3:15Speaker 1: don't care what your educational background is or is not.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It does not matter if you don't get a real
- 3:22Speaker 1: relationship going on with God. I don't see how you
- 3:25Speaker 1: can make it. So many people are faking and fronting
- 3:28Speaker 1: out here like they got it going on, and you
- 3:30Speaker 1: don't know, And you really don't know how many people
- 3:33Speaker 1: that you think in your neighborhood had it going on
- 3:36Speaker 1: because you saw a car pull up in the driveway,
- 3:39Speaker 1: or the house look bigger, or grass is cutting nicer,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and you only find out that a foreclosed your side
- 3:45Speaker 1: on their house too. See, you don't know. The mask
- 3:48Speaker 1: that people put on to parade around in is for
- 3:51Speaker 1: appearing's sakes. So a lot of people you looking at
- 3:55Speaker 1: that you think got it going on. Who might be
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pattern of success that you want to trade? You
- 4:00Speaker 1: got to be real careful with that because it may
- 4:03Speaker 1: not be as it appears to be. But one thing
- 4:05Speaker 1: is for sure, no matter what's going on in your life,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing, or I realized,
- 4:15Speaker 1: or no matter what the appearances may be, that on
- 4:18Speaker 1: the other side of me, I'm gonna be just fine. See.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:27Speaker 1: dragging your name through the mud. Look, man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 1: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:33Speaker 1: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 1: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 1: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 1: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:47Speaker 1: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 1: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 1: be all right. See. That's what the relationship gives you, man.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It gives you the confidence to note that the things
- 4:59Speaker 1: that you're going are temporary, that it's just a space
- 5:02Speaker 1: that you happen to be in. Like I said the
- 5:05Speaker 1: other day, you got to remember something. The road to
- 5:08Speaker 1: success is always under construction. You might as well get
- 5:12Speaker 1: ready for that. If you're planning on changing, getting better,
- 5:16Speaker 1: doing something about your health. If you decide, hey, look,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I just would like to live a longer, more prosperous life,
- 5:23Speaker 1: or hey I want to make X amount of dollars,
- 5:25Speaker 1: or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out in these
- 5:27Speaker 1: streets and I'm gonna come home and treat my family
- 5:29Speaker 1: where they ought to be treated. I don't care what
- 5:31Speaker 1: decision you make. When you strike out on that road
- 5:34Speaker 1: to success, it's under construction, partner. There's barrels out there,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's wide turns, there's detools. You know. It's it's me
- 5:43Speaker 1: and out there holding signs saying slow down. Sometimes they
- 5:47Speaker 1: put the stop sign up. You got to wait and
- 5:49Speaker 1: watch people go buy you on the other side. Then
- 5:53Speaker 1: before you can take off again. You've all been on
- 5:55Speaker 1: the road with construction on it. It can be so frustrated.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And the old time you on that road, I know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: when I'm on the road we could under construction. I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever set
- 6:09Speaker 1: in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if I
- 6:13Speaker 1: get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:19Speaker 1: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 6:22Speaker 1: because Oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:26Speaker 1: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 1: further off course because we're no detol sign for that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 1: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 1: thought might be shortcuts. But I gotta tell you something,
- 6:43Speaker 1: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 1: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 1: your way. And look background. I remember one time I
- 6:51Speaker 1: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 6:54Speaker 1: of chemical spill in a truck and you could allot
- 7:01Speaker 1: see the smoke up ahead and very faint. So they
- 7:04Speaker 1: detoured us through the desert and we had to go
- 7:07Speaker 1: all the way around, and I drove, man like an
- 7:10Speaker 1: hour and a half out of the way. And when
- 7:12Speaker 1: they entered us back on the freeway where we were
- 7:15Speaker 1: to go back to La as soon as I got
- 7:18Speaker 1: at that exit to get back on the freeway, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: looked right there and there the accident was. Now it
- 7:24Speaker 1: was an hour and a half hour forty five all
- 7:28Speaker 1: the way around in that desert to get back to
- 7:31Speaker 1: almost the same place, but it was the best way
- 7:34Speaker 1: to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 1: make the right decision to be successful. That the road
- 7:43Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 1: go around a little bit, so could stop being in
- 7:49Speaker 1: patient with it. I don't want to go around. IM
- 7:51Speaker 1: gonna go this way, You go that way if you
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to just follow the detour size. See, because somebody
- 7:56Speaker 1: that came up this road before you have somebody it
- 8:00Speaker 1: and travel the road already, and they took the way around,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and yeah, it seemed like it's a longer way, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: you want to make that other decision. But stay on
- 8:08Speaker 1: the road to success. It's under construction, man, that's just
- 8:12Speaker 1: the way it goes. Don't lose your patience and try
- 8:15Speaker 1: to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna go away.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold a partner, you really
- 8:20Speaker 1: thank you for going to do that. Listen. There's oftentimes
- 8:23Speaker 1: a lot of rewards when you go the least travel path,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but the road to success is the least travel path.
- 8:30Speaker 1: That's what you keep getting mixed up. You keep thinking
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you go another way now, No, stay on the
- 8:35Speaker 1: road to success. That is the least travel path. It's
- 8:39Speaker 1: under construction. You can go out there with you with
- 8:42Speaker 1: your machete. If you want to talk about cutting new trails.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You think the road to success is under construction, take
- 8:49Speaker 1: the other route and get that machette out and see
- 8:52Speaker 1: how long you be out there trying to cut a path. Sometimes, Man,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you just got to stay patient. The road to success
- 8:59Speaker 1: has been traveled level before by millions of people in
- 9:02Speaker 1: front of you, everybody that has some setbacks in life.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But don't get off the road to success just because
- 9:07Speaker 1: you're having some setbacks, just because you see some orange
- 9:10Speaker 1: barrels up, just because there's some men out there with
- 9:13Speaker 1: vest on. What that got to do with you? Everybody,
- 9:16Speaker 1: everybody that's trying to be successful, is on that road.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Your relationship with God helps you guide yourself around the barrels.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It helps you have the patience to go around that away.
- 9:30Speaker 1: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: you got to go out there so you can learn something. See,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you need God to make it in life because the
- 9:39Speaker 1: road to success is always under construction. He calms you
- 9:44Speaker 1: down when the barrels is up. He lets you know
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's gonna be all right. He rewards you with the
- 9:49Speaker 1: patience to finish because he gonna get you right back
- 9:52Speaker 1: where you need to be and you can get on
- 9:54Speaker 1: which where you was going. Okay, all right, y'all, we're
- 9:57Speaker 1: gonna try that today. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let
- 10:04Speaker 1: me have your undivided attention. It's to Steve Harvy Morning Show.
- 10:09Speaker 1: The voice you're listening to does not belong to Steve.
- 10:16Speaker 1: A lie. I do wish that women would stop asking
- 10:22Speaker 1: the proverbial question, why do men lie? That? It's the
- 10:29Speaker 1: proverbial question. The answer to that question, ladies, is because
- 10:36Speaker 1: we are talking to you. M Hey, it one more time.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The number one reason that men lie is because we
- 10:47Speaker 1: are talking to you, so you can't tell us the
- 10:51Speaker 1: truth because your reaction to the truth is so adverse.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You just can't you know something it As a matter
- 11:00Speaker 1: of fact, let's talk about that for a minute. Surely
- 11:02Speaker 1: start very callin for real South Mississippi, Monica, Junior, nephew
- 11:06Speaker 1: Tommy is back. Let's let's go on and get to
- 11:09Speaker 1: that point. Now, Junior, I know you have stuff on
- 11:11Speaker 1: your mind, but you know, you probably go, you're gonna
- 11:14Speaker 1: need this information, okay, because he's married. Now, ye, Ladies
- 11:19Speaker 1: always want to know why me and lie? And the
- 11:24Speaker 1: answer to that question is because, ladies, we are talking
- 11:29Speaker 1: to you. What does that mean? Your reaction? No sense
- 11:35Speaker 1: the truth? Girl? Oh damn crazy to you. It's cool
- 11:43Speaker 1: to us, but you because you can't handle the react. Yeah,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you can't handle our you know alone, you can't handle
- 11:51Speaker 1: the truth. Hello. No, no, no, that is the Our
- 11:58Speaker 1: reaction is handling it. See right there, yeah, right there,
- 12:02Speaker 1: right there? How we handle it? See right there. You
- 12:05Speaker 1: don't like our reaction. You just want us to sit
- 12:08Speaker 1: stone face and not emotions reactions. What we try to
- 12:12Speaker 1: do is delayed that reaction, you see. That's selfish. Yeah, baby,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I cheat it. We're just supposed to say, okay, honey,
- 12:20Speaker 1: that's great. Why would he coming there and safe? Baby?
- 12:25Speaker 1: I cheat it? What? But I'm just saying, if you
- 12:28Speaker 1: told that's why our reaction should be. No, no, we're
- 12:32Speaker 1: not already know that ain't what it's gonna be. So
- 12:35Speaker 1: why would we come in here and tell you that
- 12:38Speaker 1: you don't get to cheat, You don't get to do
- 12:40Speaker 1: that and determine how I react how our reaction is going.
- 12:44Speaker 1: But I do get to do it and tell you
- 12:46Speaker 1: the lie. I'm gonna tell you. I do get to
- 12:47Speaker 1: do that. How we react. I tell you what where
- 12:51Speaker 1: you're being Just a simple question. Where at the stove store? Wait?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Did you really go to the store? No, play it again,
- 13:02Speaker 1: but why did you lie by going to the store.
- 13:05Speaker 1: That's my question because if I was told you I
- 13:08Speaker 1: was at her house, Well, what do you think we're
- 13:10Speaker 1: gonna be? How much that's that's Sairly is saved. That's stupid.
- 13:16Speaker 1: We already know anyway, Well, just tell you didn't know that. No, No,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you did not know that. Stop you don't ever know. Huh,
- 13:27Speaker 1: that's huh. We have Okay, we have to continue coming up.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Have you experience behind that? I know stuff coming up?
- 13:39Speaker 1: At thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll get with
- 13:41Speaker 1: the nephews so he can run that prank back. Right
- 13:44Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show it is time now
- 13:49Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 13:52Speaker 1: got for us? Now? Surely we're gonna make a love deposit. Okay,
- 13:56Speaker 1: a love deposit if you would, Yeah, hello, hello, I'm
- 14:04Speaker 1: trying to reach Tiffany. H this is Tiffany, who's calling?
- 14:08Speaker 1: This is Karan. How you doing. I didn't know what
- 14:15Speaker 1: I know we've been. I know we've been going back
- 14:17Speaker 1: and forth on the site talking and we haven't you know,
- 14:21Speaker 1: really talked yet. So yeah, okay, I'm just going to
- 14:25Speaker 1: expect in the car. But yeah, it's good to hear
- 14:27Speaker 1: from you. Um, it's good to hear from you know.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean. We've been we've been talking
- 14:32Speaker 1: for well a long time, well, texting and on the
- 14:36Speaker 1: site for at least what five weeks now, Yeah, it's
- 14:39Speaker 1: been really I'm glad you called Karrel seriously and I
- 14:43Speaker 1: love the voice, so I'm exciting. Hey yeah you know, um,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you got anything going on this weekend? I don't think so.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I just have to, like, you know, go grocery shopping
- 14:54Speaker 1: or whatever. But like, other than that, I'm pretty helping.
- 14:56Speaker 1: What I was thinking. Maybe we get together, get a
- 14:58Speaker 1: get a drink or two, just you know kind of yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 1: a little bit, feel each other out and if you
- 15:04Speaker 1: if you're feeling that, you know, I don't want to.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah that's cool, we can get together. I'm interested, you know,
- 15:09Speaker 1: like I'm hot to you call. Then I would love
- 15:12Speaker 1: to see this weekend. Um, you gotta place in mind,
- 15:15Speaker 1: Like you know, I was thinking about letting you pick
- 15:19Speaker 1: something because you know, I rarely go somewhere where you're
- 15:21Speaker 1: comfortable with an atmosphere that you're used to. I think
- 15:25Speaker 1: that would be the best thing to do. Okay, Well,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I let me work. I'll go back to you on that.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm down sure, I just want to hang
- 15:34Speaker 1: out a little bit. Yeah, I'm excited. Good, good, what's
- 15:42Speaker 1: good for you? Um, you know if you want to
- 15:44Speaker 1: do what Saturday is, it's up to you. Yeah, let's go.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Let's do Saturday to give me, you know, some time
- 15:49Speaker 1: to like, you know, get myself together. Okay, six or Saturday,
- 15:53Speaker 1: text me on you know, the location or whatever wherever
- 15:56Speaker 1: you want me to you know, I'll be okay, cool,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I can't wait you Okay, let's let's do this first.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Tell me this. What what are we wearing? So I'm
- 16:04Speaker 1: not I don't want to be old with dressed or underdressed.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I don't really trip on that. First. They could be
- 16:08Speaker 1: chill like I'm not. You know, we don't have to
- 16:10Speaker 1: do like a or nothing like that. You don't need
- 16:13Speaker 1: on the touch this ain't the Rock Nation brunch, you know,
- 16:17Speaker 1: all right, all right, but if you don't mind, if
- 16:21Speaker 1: I could get you to do something for me, could you, um,
- 16:24Speaker 1: could I give you my cash app? So what Well,
- 16:27Speaker 1: what I want to do is, you know, sometimes these
- 16:30Speaker 1: things actually go wrong. You know, I don't see it
- 16:33Speaker 1: going wrong with me and you because we've had you know,
- 16:35Speaker 1: the way we've been chit chatting and going back and
- 16:37Speaker 1: forth on the site. Things have been really really well.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You know, you know, I would like to get you know,
- 16:43Speaker 1: like a you know, a love deposit of two hundred
- 16:47Speaker 1: and fifty dollars that way of just go wrong. At
- 16:49Speaker 1: least I haven't wait till my time, you know what
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'm saying. Hold on, I'm just passed saying what was happening?
- 17:01Speaker 1: You said you want me to get your cars up
- 17:04Speaker 1: and send you a love deposit of two hundred and
- 17:07Speaker 1: some dollars two fifty two fifty like you know that way.
- 17:10Speaker 1: If this, if this don't go right, you know, then
- 17:14Speaker 1: at least I haven't love It's like a love deposit,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you know, if it goes if it goes right, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 1: then I give it back to you. If it don't
- 17:20Speaker 1: go right, you know at least I haven't wasted my time.
- 17:22Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying, crut You serious right now? Yeah?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Like yeah, okay, uh this is super weird and uh
- 17:32Speaker 1: yeah this is all weird and uh you know I'm coming.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I don't really know what to say, like other than um,
- 17:40Speaker 1: you could probably lose my number, like you a weak
- 17:43Speaker 1: do like, don't call me like you're corny. I'm not interested.
- 17:47Speaker 1: You're a bum. Like I'm straight, Like I don't know
- 17:50Speaker 1: what hold hold on, I wun't on all that talking about.
- 17:54Speaker 1: We've been talking, We've been talking for five weeks. Everything's
- 17:56Speaker 1: been good. We've been we've been on the sight talking
- 17:58Speaker 1: to each other. But so you're trying to ask me
- 18:01Speaker 1: for a cash app for real, a love deposit? How corny?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Are you? Are you serious? Serious? If you believe listen
- 18:10Speaker 1: to Kim Kim on the real, if you believe in yourself,
- 18:13Speaker 1: you you If I believe in myself, you're so full,
- 18:18Speaker 1: last out of yours, you have lost your in mine? Okay,
- 18:22Speaker 1: would you please like gather your thoughts because I don't
- 18:26Speaker 1: know who you think you're talking to. For real, you
- 18:28Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, So I need you to do
- 18:29Speaker 1: two things, lose my number and don't don't look for
- 18:34Speaker 1: me for real? Start up like this is ridiculous like this,
- 18:37Speaker 1: this is stupid. You're ignorant for real? Shart up? Okay, okay,
- 18:42Speaker 1: show me, show me where I'm wrong. If you believe
- 18:44Speaker 1: in yourself though, if I believe in myself, dass, dude,
- 18:48Speaker 1: what do you mean? If I believe in myself? If
- 18:50Speaker 1: you believe in yourself, your past will moving around? Get
- 18:53Speaker 1: off the phone. It stop wasting my time for real.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I'm about to hang out right now for real time. Okay, okay,
- 18:59Speaker 1: listen to lay my face right okay before you hang up? Joe, Hey,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you can you can go you you could go your way,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I can go. Mind you don't want to cany me?
- 19:07Speaker 1: The two fifty? Cool? Got that fifty? Okay? Okay? You
- 19:15Speaker 1: know what is this? Your loss though? Kiss? This your loft?
- 19:20Speaker 1: You gotta be out to you a rabbit ass? Mine,
- 19:22Speaker 1: ain't no loss this here, ain't no loss. This ain't
- 19:24Speaker 1: no losses. Okay, you know what? You know what? I
- 19:27Speaker 1: knew this was gonna happen. You know I want a
- 19:29Speaker 1: brother try to be real. When a brother try hey, hey,
- 19:35Speaker 1: you might as well. Hey, turn around, go the other direction.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Lock yourself up. Seriously, you want to talk about black

- 21:01Speaker 1: love questions right after this you're listening to show coming
- 21:07Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:10Speaker 1: Rihanna Rihanna is doing next year's Super Bowl halftime show. Okay,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and doctor Dre has some advice for her. Will hear
- 21:19Speaker 1: about that? Plus Beyonce is coming to a city near

- 21:26Speaker 1: because he wore diamond flip flops with socks to London
- 21:31Speaker 1: Fashion Week. Okay, that's all at the top of the hour,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the clo Okay,
- 21:39Speaker 1: Yogi and Camden writes, I'm buying a new house and
- 21:42Speaker 1: my dad offered to give me a lump sum of
- 21:45Speaker 1: money to help me out. His new wife found out
- 21:48Speaker 1: and she stopped the payment. She's always driven a wedge
- 21:51Speaker 1: between us. Should I have a heart to heart with
- 21:53Speaker 1: her or with him? Well? Oh, hello, the heart to
- 22:01Speaker 1: heart with your dad? I mean, your dad is on
- 22:05Speaker 1: your side. I think you should sit down with her
- 22:08Speaker 1: and just ask her what's wrong. I mean, you know,
- 22:11Speaker 1: but if you can be nice about it and just say,
- 22:14Speaker 1: why would you stop my father from helping me? I
- 22:17Speaker 1: just what have I ever done to you? But if
- 22:19Speaker 1: you have to do it, calm because obviously she has
- 22:24Speaker 1: some power in this relationship, and that power comes from
- 22:29Speaker 1: she sleeps with your daddy because she stop you not
- 22:33Speaker 1: underestimate that power. Very powerful, But why would she want
- 22:41Speaker 1: to drive a wedge between you know, a child and
- 22:44Speaker 1: their parents. You know, well, it may not be that.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Surely it could be. Well that's what he said, That's
- 22:51Speaker 1: what Yogi said. Well, Yogi could be just bleeding turned
- 22:55Speaker 1: up to You never know what it is that could
- 22:59Speaker 1: not That might not be the first time. And I
- 23:03Speaker 1: think the wife is just tired of everybody taking advantage
- 23:05Speaker 1: because it might not just be Yogi. It could be
- 23:08Speaker 1: any number of people. Bleed me, and she tired of it.
- 23:11Speaker 1: So he just sit down to have a talk with him. Okay,
- 23:16Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to Valencia in East Memphis. Valencia said,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I met a handsome, older gentleman on a dating site
- 23:23Speaker 1: and we did things in reverse. We had sex on
- 23:27Speaker 1: our first date, and now we're getting to know each other.
- 23:31Speaker 1: He's a very small man, so I'm not sure he'll
- 23:34Speaker 1: ever be able to please me. Should I see if
- 23:37Speaker 1: we're compatible in other areas? Or is bad sex a
- 23:40Speaker 1: deal breaker? You know this ain't going No, this is
- 23:45Speaker 1: a rap. It's a deal breaker, a bad secker. You
- 23:49Speaker 1: don't even like him, so why are we talking about
- 23:53Speaker 1: how good his sexy is not? Big kid, just go
- 23:56Speaker 1: and get back on your dating site, because that's what
- 23:58Speaker 1: you're doing. You didn't hooked up, nad went to all
- 24:01Speaker 1: the way. You don't even like the guy. If you
- 24:03Speaker 1: had feelings for him, all that could be different. But
- 24:07Speaker 1: now you you had date on the first sex on
- 24:10Speaker 1: the first date. That's it. Yeah, what you want. He
- 24:13Speaker 1: ain't got to fix nothing for you, Okay, So on
- 24:20Speaker 1: and and and one of them things he can't do
- 24:23Speaker 1: a damn thing about. And I wonder what that is. Yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and that it ain't his age. So she said he
- 24:35Speaker 1: was a handsome man, all right? Uh Fatima and Lansing says, um,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I've been married for eighteen years and all we do
- 24:43Speaker 1: together is go to church and have sex. This may
- 24:47Speaker 1: sound weird, but it makes our sex life better and
- 24:51Speaker 1: we're less stressed. Do we need to go to counseling
- 24:53Speaker 1: or should we just keep doing what works for us?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I think y'all just keep doing what worked for you.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Going to church and you have a sex, that's it. Yeah,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you having great sex ain't going to heaven eighteen years,
- 25:07Speaker 1: some beautiful thing. What you want? What you're going to
- 25:12Speaker 1: go to the movie to go to? No damn movie.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Just go down here to church. Soon as we get back,
- 25:19Speaker 1: let's go to church. Maybe get back down to this house.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Go to a couple of parties or something. Maybe a friend.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You don't need that. We is the party as soon
- 25:35Speaker 1: as we as soon as we leave prayers. That's all
- 25:42Speaker 1: they have done for eighteen years, Bible studied. You know,
- 25:46Speaker 1: girls up and lay it down. Come on, girl, as
- 25:53Speaker 1: soon as he I get hot, soon as I hear
- 25:55Speaker 1: him say the benediction, Oh my goodness. So that that's
- 26:00Speaker 1: all they can do. They can't switch it up a
- 26:03Speaker 1: little bit. Girl, girl, girl, let me tell you something.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I know we're getting closed when they take them that off.
- 26:14Speaker 1: This is the last one. Steve Denise and Roanoke says,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I saw my boyfriend's baby mama driving his car yesterday
- 26:22Speaker 1: and called him and went off on him. I don't
- 26:24Speaker 1: mind her using his using the car because she has
- 26:27Speaker 1: to take his babies around, but can he at least
- 26:30Speaker 1: tell me when she borrows it? Is that too much
- 26:33Speaker 1: to ask? What you got for baby? That's your boyfriend's
- 26:41Speaker 1: baby mama. So he don't live with you. M m no,
- 26:47Speaker 1: because she called him and went off on him. Um,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you, sweetie, but you don't.
- 26:55Speaker 1: You don't see what's happening. What's that happening to tell her?
- 26:59Speaker 1: He ain't got to call you. His car right, his
- 27:05Speaker 1: baby mama has got all his kids. You think it's
- 27:10Speaker 1: just she thinks she using the car just because she
- 27:12Speaker 1: got to take kids one and make sure she pass
- 27:17Speaker 1: by YouTube. At least tell me when she's driving it. Okay,
- 27:25Speaker 1: that's all they called. Hey she got the car. She
- 27:31Speaker 1: said she didn't mind. Oh yeah, she came by and
- 27:35Speaker 1: picked it up. You know she gonna argue with him
- 27:40Speaker 1: about dropped off the payment. Oh excuse me, I'm sorry. No,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you said something about payment. I ain't saying nothing about
- 27:51Speaker 1: no damn payment here come to live. Hell, did you
- 27:55Speaker 1: hear me? You said she came by and picked up
- 27:58Speaker 1: the car and dropped off the payment. Flip it, flip it.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I said she came by to get the car to
- 28:05Speaker 1: pick up the babies. Oh, I was saying nothing but
- 28:09Speaker 1: no damn payments. Damn. Oh she thought you she said payment,
- 28:13Speaker 1: But she said babies, okay, because that's they sound just alike.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You're gonna take this last and then when you raise
- 28:19Speaker 1: your voice. Now, yeah, she's supposed to back down when
- 28:25Speaker 1: he does that. Off he hit the pavement. God, what
- 28:31Speaker 1: do you understand? Payment to walk over to the steps?
- 28:38Speaker 1: He man? Oh nah, it's her. He's flipping it. You
- 28:43Speaker 1: hear him flipping it right before your very ears. So
- 28:47Speaker 1: she sang, so forget it. She wants to know. Can
- 28:51Speaker 1: he at least tell her when she borrows it? Is
- 28:53Speaker 1: that too much to ask? Yeah? No, you can go
- 28:56Speaker 1: ahead and ask. Go ahead. Huh yeah, go ahead, and
- 29:00Speaker 1: then oh, all my bad, baby, you know I do
- 29:02Speaker 1: that from now? Hen't even do that? Not ask? All right?
- 29:09Speaker 1: All right, Denis and roanok you heard it, Roanoke, Yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 1: all right, Well, thank you, cello. Um, I'm sure you
- 29:18Speaker 1: help some people. Coming up. At the top of the hour,
- 29:20Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you, right hey, he no,
- 29:28Speaker 1: you're listening to show well. On Sunday, Rihanna was announced
- 29:35Speaker 1: as a headline performer for next year's Super Bowl halftime show,
- 29:39Speaker 1: and of course we announced it on yesterday, but let's
- 29:43Speaker 1: just let that marinate for a minute. Okay. This year's headliner,
- 29:47Speaker 1: Doctor Dre has offered some advice on how Rihanna can
- 29:50Speaker 1: make the most of her time during her halftime performance. Uh.
- 29:54Speaker 1: In a recent interview, Doctor Dre said, quote, put the
- 29:57Speaker 1: right people around you and have fun. That's basically what
- 30:01Speaker 1: it is. Making sure you have the right creative people
- 30:04Speaker 1: around you. She might want to look into huh, that's
- 30:07Speaker 1: what he did exactly. She might want to look into
- 30:10Speaker 1: some of the people that we used to do our show.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Then Doctor Dre took a moment to brag by saying,
- 30:15Speaker 1: she meaning Rihanna, of course, has the opportunity to really
- 30:19Speaker 1: blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely
- 30:23Speaker 1: high coming right up his Grammy win, you know. And
- 30:27Speaker 1: that's so yeah. You know, she hasn't performed in a
- 30:31Speaker 1: long time and a long time, and she doesn't have
- 30:33Speaker 1: an album outans want to see. Yeah, we're dying. Yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I can't wait for this. That's my girl. But anyway,
- 30:45Speaker 1: moving on from one diva to another, Beyonce will tour
- 30:49Speaker 1: the world next summer. She will be promoting her new
- 30:51Speaker 1: Renaissance album, and multiple sources have reported that she's only
- 30:55Speaker 1: booking stadiums. Okay, she's that big. She's only booking stay
- 31:00Speaker 1: adums and this will be Beyonce's first solo tour in
- 31:04Speaker 1: seven years. That's great. Yeah, that's great. Don't lay y'all
- 31:12Speaker 1: started to go on. I started to come back and
- 31:14Speaker 1: just book stadiums myself, but I said, now I'm gonna
- 31:17Speaker 1: leave them available for Beyonce, so she's gonna I was
- 31:23Speaker 1: just thank Yeah, so I come back and book these stadiums,
- 31:26Speaker 1: and where is this girl gonna work? So I said,
- 31:29Speaker 1: let me, let me go on and let her because
- 31:33Speaker 1: you know it ain't right because she's still young, you know,
- 31:35Speaker 1: got them keys and everything. You know. Thank y'all, appreciate you,
- 31:39Speaker 1: should you recognize and you know your whole thank you right,
- 31:43Speaker 1: go ahead and beyond you go and do them stadiums. Babe, Wow, Steve,
- 31:47Speaker 1: that's so sweet of you. Uh well, but not so
- 31:51Speaker 1: fashionable of late. Kanye West has added a little bling
- 31:55Speaker 1: to his wardrobe. He's rocking bedazzled flip flops now. To
- 31:59Speaker 1: one of the biggest shows at London's Fashion Week, Kanye
- 32:02Speaker 1: was dressed in black leather pants. He had a black
- 32:04Speaker 1: leather jacket and a hoodie, and he wore a pair
- 32:06Speaker 1: of black flip flops with socks and diamond trim. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: yeah too, flocks, but that's what he wear. That's what
- 32:17Speaker 1: everybody wear. Itases, I've seen the socks and the slides,
- 32:20Speaker 1: but it's kind of hard to work your toes have
- 32:24Speaker 1: going between your toes with the flipplop and socks. You
- 32:26Speaker 1: have flip flops and flocks. Yeah anyway. Uh. And lastly,
- 32:32Speaker 1: James Earl Jones has announced that he's retiring his iconic
- 32:36Speaker 1: Darth Vader voice now. According to reports, ninety one year
- 32:40Speaker 1: old James Earl Jones has signed over the rights to
- 32:43Speaker 1: his famous Darth Vader voice to filmmakers who plan to
- 32:47Speaker 1: use a blend of his voice recordings and artificial intelligence
- 32:51Speaker 1: technology in upcoming Star Wars films. His voice will live forever,
- 32:57Speaker 1: and we know that. Yeah, your voice is getting better
- 33:04Speaker 1: yet it's coming and sexy and more time, but it's coming. Well,
- 33:09Speaker 1: you know, you know, I know we're trying to encourage
- 33:13Speaker 1: me everything. How many day Well, you know, man, I'm
- 33:21Speaker 1: trying to wait and see what's too soon? Cause three days,
- 33:25Speaker 1: well got arm tied. I'm tired, you know, going for
- 33:31Speaker 1: a month now, he backed three days. We still case
- 33:35Speaker 1: say nothing about it. You know, yeah, you want to
- 33:40Speaker 1: tell the listeners. Yesterday we had a group text Steve
- 33:43Speaker 1: just firing off, and then we did too soon and
- 33:46Speaker 1: put it. I didn't even I didn't even buy into it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I'd like, okay, and I have to figure out. You know,
- 33:57Speaker 1: he gonna text and ask for time and we're doing this.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Showed him on what I'm a little I'm a little
- 34:08Speaker 1: slow getting back, just you know, take me slow. What
- 34:11Speaker 1: time did you want to come into work? I really
- 34:14Speaker 1: wish we could have done this around noon. I ain't
- 34:15Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. When can I cuss health? I
- 34:22Speaker 1: just yet? Yeah? So how long is we gonna play this?
- 34:30Speaker 1: How long we're gonna play this card? Though? Why are
- 34:32Speaker 1: you so impatient? It's just but I don't want him
- 34:35Speaker 1: to you don't be relying on that as his source
- 34:38Speaker 1: of all, you know. Yeah, he's been this way long
- 34:43Speaker 1: fold is hell. His strength, his god, his health got
- 34:47Speaker 1: him through because he do take care of himself, you know,
- 34:49Speaker 1: running all this hell. And if he didn't have the
- 34:53Speaker 1: the dog built up, you know he was, his body
- 34:58Speaker 1: wouldn't have been able to fight this thing off. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:01Speaker 1: but he had built up though. I can't think of
- 35:03Speaker 1: the word I'm trying to his immune system. Well kind
- 35:07Speaker 1: of like that. Yeah, I could use that because it applies,
- 35:10Speaker 1: but it was probably looking for well, Charlie, I'm probably
- 35:15Speaker 1: looking for a word that's not really what you posted you. Oh,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I want you to really stop helping me. But my bad. Yeah,
- 35:22Speaker 1: you taking educated route and that's not really why I
- 35:26Speaker 1: am with this. I'm singing. What did you keep saying?
- 35:28Speaker 1: All these words from I never used in me. It
- 35:31Speaker 1: was systems. This this what you would think. You think
- 35:39Speaker 1: you're more along the life, more like you know, like
- 35:43Speaker 1: the dog getting him and all that. You know, something
- 35:47Speaker 1: he built up the dog get it. Yeah you know. Yeah, Okay,
- 35:52Speaker 1: now I'm with you. Girl, ahead, I'm with you. I'm
- 35:54Speaker 1: with you now, I got you? So all right? Coming
- 36:01Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour in today's Wellness
- 36:04Speaker 1: Wednesday segment, we're gonna talk about cleansing to lose toxic
- 36:08Speaker 1: waste and unwanted weight with the president and CEO of
- 36:12Speaker 1: d herbs Ad Dolphin. Right after this, you're listening to
- 36:17Speaker 1: show Maasies and gentlemen, it is that time again. We
- 36:20Speaker 1: have a family member here. We're talking about health and wellness.
- 36:24Speaker 1: We are talking about getting it together. We are talking
- 36:27Speaker 1: about losing unwanted pounds. We are talking about a way
- 36:31Speaker 1: to stop making excuses and getting it done. Today, our
- 36:35Speaker 1: special guest is here and gonna help you with the
- 36:38Speaker 1: way to stop making excuses and get it done. CEO
- 36:42Speaker 1: of d Earth and a great friend of the show
- 36:45Speaker 1: and my homing my dude a d Dolphin. Hey, how
- 36:51Speaker 1: you got joined the morning? Good morning, morning, always bringing
- 36:56Speaker 1: the energy a d good morning to after all. Right, listen,
- 37:02Speaker 1: let's just jump right into it. Ad. I know some
- 37:05Speaker 1: it's crazy busy for d earths and a great reason
- 37:08Speaker 1: to cleanse and shed some pounds, But what are some
- 37:11Speaker 1: of the other reasons you hear most often? The number
- 37:15Speaker 1: one reason is definitely weight loss, but it's also the
- 37:18Speaker 1: number two and three. And the reason why weight loss
- 37:21Speaker 1: is so big, it's because forty two percent of adults
- 37:26Speaker 1: today in the United States are obese. The obesity rate
- 37:31Speaker 1: actually went up twenty six percent since two thousand and eight.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And the reason why people are choosing to dar full
- 37:38Speaker 1: body cleanses not only just for the weight loss, is
- 37:41Speaker 1: because they're realizing that they have to change their lifestyle
- 37:44Speaker 1: to keep that weight off forever and that's why people
- 37:48Speaker 1: are choosing to cleanse. Okay, what is something a lot
- 37:52Speaker 1: of these success stories have in common. Well, I think
- 37:55Speaker 1: it's their mindset. People are actually tired of not feeling
- 37:59Speaker 1: like themselves. They're tired of being overweights, they're tired of
- 38:03Speaker 1: not having energy, they're tired of taking medication, they're tired
- 38:07Speaker 1: of going to the doctor. But to be honest, I
- 38:09Speaker 1: wish people would take a different approach. Stop waiting until
- 38:13Speaker 1: you're six to get healthy. There's a thing that goes.
- 38:17Speaker 1: A ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound
- 38:19Speaker 1: of cure. And it's so hard. It's literally so hard
- 38:24Speaker 1: to get healthy when you're sick, and we're waiting until
- 38:27Speaker 1: the fourth quarter before we start looking towards health as
- 38:31Speaker 1: a way as a way out of our situation, just
- 38:34Speaker 1: making better choices. Okay, why do you feel like members
- 38:38Speaker 1: of our audience with diabetes and high blood pressures should
- 38:42Speaker 1: look into the cleans? Surely? I would say is the
- 38:44Speaker 1: reason why people are looking towards the deer and full
- 38:46Speaker 1: body cleans to help them with diabetes and high blood
- 38:50Speaker 1: pressure is because they're realizing that there if they're eating
- 38:54Speaker 1: habits that kind of put them in their situation. It's
- 38:57Speaker 1: their weight gain that's put them in their situation, and
- 39:00Speaker 1: by cleansing, not only are you going to help yourself
- 39:03Speaker 1: with those issues, but it's also going to help you
- 39:06Speaker 1: with weight loss between ten to thirty pounds, a huge
- 39:08Speaker 1: boost energy, stronger immune system. We know how important that
- 39:12Speaker 1: is coming out of the Corona era, Clearer skin and
- 39:15Speaker 1: be able to focus and concentrate a lot better. The
- 39:18Speaker 1: d Earth cleans is truly truly a life changer and
- 39:22Speaker 1: if you commit to the process, it will change your life. Well,
- 39:25Speaker 1: it changed ours. We were all on it. We'll be back.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Hold on, we'll be back, and we're gonna heal from
- 39:30Speaker 1: two other people on our show. Hang on, ad we'll
- 39:34Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening to show. Hey,
- 39:40Speaker 1: we're back, everybody and our special guests this morning. As
- 39:43Speaker 1: the CEO of d Herb's Full Body Cleans, my buddy
- 39:46Speaker 1: a d Dolphin, and we were talking when you left
- 39:48Speaker 1: A d you made a statement that people should let
- 39:52Speaker 1: make sure I'll get it right people. You wish people
- 39:55Speaker 1: would start getting health before they got sick. Is that
- 40:02Speaker 1: what you're saying? Absolutely, we'll see what it is that
- 40:05Speaker 1: people are waiting until they're sick to start getting healthy.
- 40:11Speaker 1: But like I said, I pound of prevention this workfore
- 40:13Speaker 1: than a pound of cure. We're waiting too long. Well,
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's what I wanted to talk about. Let me help
- 40:21Speaker 1: you out right here, Tommy. What okay? But let me

- 46:19Speaker 1: This is probably something that the coach from Boston needed
- 46:22Speaker 1: to know about. Alarm alert. Get your butt offting people
- 46:27Speaker 1: front porch boy, alarm alert. Let's go cat doc. Hello, Hello,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach the Nie please. Yeah, this is Denise. Hi, Denise,
- 46:39Speaker 1: this is Tony, I'm calling security. I've got an alarm
- 46:43Speaker 1: that we've got an alarm that's gone off on you guys.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Property is all right? Are you guys? Um? We're just
- 46:48Speaker 1: checking before we send authorities out. Is everything okay? Then
- 46:51Speaker 1: maybe someone tripped the alarm. Oh my gosh, No, I'm
- 46:55Speaker 1: at work. I'm at work right now. I'm not home. Okay.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Do you have a tet or dog or anything that
- 47:01Speaker 1: could actually trip you alone? No, No, it's that's strange.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It never goes off like that. I'm a nervous Okay,
- 47:09Speaker 1: give you a second. We've got a call into the
- 47:11Speaker 1: neighborhood security that actually are en route to the property,
- 47:15Speaker 1: and they were going to give us some information before
- 47:19Speaker 1: we actually sent sent the police officers out, unless you
- 47:22Speaker 1: would like for me to send them out now. But yeah,
- 47:24Speaker 1: I feel like you should send the police. I mean,
- 47:27Speaker 1: if I'm not home and nobody's home and my alarms
- 47:30Speaker 1: going off and it never goes off that, I'm worried. Okay,
- 47:34Speaker 1: hang on one second. This is neighborhood security calling the
- 47:37Speaker 1: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you. Okay, niece,
- 47:41Speaker 1: are you there, Yes, yes, yes, I'm here. They have
- 47:45Speaker 1: they're out there at the property the neighborhood security. Do
- 47:48Speaker 1: you there is a black guy that is on your premise?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Are you familiar with who that might be? Well, I mean,
- 47:57Speaker 1: my husband's black, but he should be at work right now. Okay, oh, definitely, okay,
- 48:03Speaker 1: and he probably would have texted me if you know
- 48:05Speaker 1: the alarm was flying off. Okay, Well, I mean, do
- 48:08Speaker 1: you have any other black male friends? Excuse me? Do
- 48:13Speaker 1: you have any other Do you have any other black
- 48:16Speaker 1: male friends that might be at the house. I mean, yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 1: it's a very weird question. I mean I have black friends, yes,
- 48:25Speaker 1: but I don't think they would be in my house. Okay, Well,
- 48:29Speaker 1: I mean should we just assume that this is your husband?
- 48:31Speaker 1: What do you think? I I mean, what would you
- 48:33Speaker 1: like that? I mean, what? How tall is this person?
- 48:39Speaker 1: My husband's six three on? Hold on one second, let
- 48:43Speaker 1: me go back to the scurry from the nightwood. I
- 48:45Speaker 1: don't know one second, know somebody's in my alarms going off?
- 48:50Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, okay, Denise, yes, okay, they
- 48:54Speaker 1: have the black guy that they're looking at is about
- 48:58Speaker 1: five foot ten, maybe late twenties. How old is your husband? No,
- 49:05Speaker 1: my husband is I just told you that my husband's
- 49:08Speaker 1: not there, he would have texted me or called me
- 49:11Speaker 1: and told me that he accidentally set the alarm off.
- 49:14Speaker 1: And I'm actually gonna text him. I mean, this is crazy.
- 49:17Speaker 1: I should probably call him. Okay, do you do realize
- 49:20Speaker 1: if we send you do realize if we send the
- 49:22Speaker 1: authorities out and this is a false call, that you're
- 49:24Speaker 1: gonna get charged for that. You do know that, right?
- 49:27Speaker 1: A false call. You just said somebody's in my house
- 49:30Speaker 1: and it's not me or my husband. You're saying your
- 49:36Speaker 1: husband's black, and then there's a black guy there. I mean,
- 49:38Speaker 1: they probably know each other, right, Are you kidding me?
- 49:43Speaker 1: What kind of question is that? Because they're both black.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 49:49Speaker 1: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 49:52Speaker 1: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 49:54Speaker 1: the black guy or he's he's a relative or something.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I mean, do they I mean, you know, do you
- 49:58Speaker 1: want to call and see if you're gone? What do
- 50:01Speaker 1: you think? Like this? This is really offensive and and
- 50:07Speaker 1: I don't understand if I'm telling you that I don't
- 50:09Speaker 1: know who the person is in my house, that means
- 50:12Speaker 1: sends the police. I mean, this is ridiculous. Think what
- 50:17Speaker 1: they're calling back neighborhoods. Just hold on one second. Neighborhood
- 50:22Speaker 1: security is calling back here. Oh my god, this is ridiculous. Okay, Denise,
- 50:30Speaker 1: Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling me that
- 50:35Speaker 1: this guy just drove out of the garage and a
- 50:37Speaker 1: white pickup. Do you do you guys have a white pickup? Yes,
- 50:41Speaker 1: we do. So this guy just pulled out of your
- 50:45Speaker 1: your your garage and a white pickup. Well, I have
- 50:48Speaker 1: my car work and my husband has his car that's
- 50:51Speaker 1: like the truck that he uses on the weekends for
- 50:55Speaker 1: like construction and stuff. So that means somebody just stole
- 50:58Speaker 1: our car. I can't I believe this is happening. You
- 51:01Speaker 1: are watching somebody in my house and you you basically
- 51:04Speaker 1: watched them steal my truck. Well, well, I'm gonna go
- 51:08Speaker 1: ahead now and get the police to go over Oka.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Why the are you going to send them now? He
- 51:13Speaker 1: probably took all my ship in my house. I mean,
- 51:16Speaker 1: the police get there, there's not gonna be anything left
- 51:18Speaker 1: in my house. Probably the start the back of the truck.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I mean, I'm doing the best I can I'm trying
- 51:23Speaker 1: to help you out. You go to do me now.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I mean the whole time you've been talking to me,
- 51:28Speaker 1: he's been cleaning up my house out and stealing. Well,
- 51:32Speaker 1: how did you get in your house? I don't know.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I don't know this guy. You're what I'm just asking you?
- 51:42Speaker 1: How could somebody get here house? Did you leave something open?
- 51:45Speaker 1: What did you go? Hey, listen, you would know because
- 51:50Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been able to set my alarm this morning.
- 51:53Speaker 1: If something was open, it would beef and it wouldn't
- 51:56Speaker 1: let me set the alarm. And the fact that you're
- 51:58Speaker 1: interrogating me when somebody's robbing my house. You need to
- 52:02Speaker 1: do your job. I need to call my husband. You're
- 52:05Speaker 1: wasting my time. I mean, by the time the police
- 52:08Speaker 1: get there, it's gonna be tomorrow. So you're gonna so
- 52:10Speaker 1: you're gonna call Darrel now, I'm sorry, you're gonna call Darrel? Now?
- 52:15Speaker 1: How do you know my husband's name? Denise? This is
- 52:22Speaker 1: nephew telling me for the Steve Harvey More to show
- 52:24Speaker 1: your husband. Darrel got me through prank phone coffee. Oh
- 52:28Speaker 1: my god, I was gonna come down there and right
- 52:40Speaker 1: nobody stole your truck nobody's at your house. Your alarm
- 52:43Speaker 1: is fine, everything is good. But Darrel told me said,
- 52:46Speaker 1: we gotta get my wife. We gotta get a good
- 52:49Speaker 1: that's so did we get you? Oh my god, I
- 52:54Speaker 1: was sweating. I was so angry. I was sweating over here.
- 52:59Speaker 1: All right, So tell me this. What is the baddest
- 53:01Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 53:05Speaker 1: So Steve Harvey Morning Show, Stupid coming back? Do y'all
- 53:14Speaker 1: feel it? Do y'all feel the stupid coming back? I'm

- 53:20Speaker 1: it left until until my voice get stronger. I'm gonna
- 53:23Speaker 1: make it sexy and stupid. Now as soon as that
- 53:26Speaker 1: boys get back one hundred percent were back to just
- 53:29Speaker 1: straight stupid. But right now a break phone call. I
- 53:36Speaker 1: do hear it getting stronger every day, nephew. All right,

- 54:15Speaker 1: be yours. Buckal up and hold on tight. We got
- 54:17Speaker 1: it for you here. It is a strawberry letter. Thank you,
- 54:21Speaker 1: Sexy Tommy. Look at that. Look at that subject. Excellent
- 54:26Speaker 1: customer service. That is the subject. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:31Speaker 1: My husband and I have been married for nine years
- 54:33Speaker 1: and we have two daughters. I work as an area
- 54:36Speaker 1: of sales rep, so I travel once a month to
- 54:39Speaker 1: service my clients. My husband has recruited his family to
- 54:43Speaker 1: help him with our daughters when I'm out of town.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I admire his parenting, but that's about it. We have
- 54:50Speaker 1: not had sex in almost four months, and he seems uninterested,
- 54:53Speaker 1: so I've stopped trying when I am out of town.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I wonder if he's cheating on me, and recently got
- 55:00Speaker 1: the proof right on my front porch. Let me set
- 55:03Speaker 1: up the scene for you. During the pandemic, my husband
- 55:06Speaker 1: wanted to spruce up our theater room, so I showed
- 55:09Speaker 1: him how to do online ordering. Because he's not as
- 55:12Speaker 1: computer savvy as I am. I always order everything online
- 55:16Speaker 1: and he complains when boxes show up on the front porch.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I planned a trip to Disney for me and my
- 55:22Speaker 1: girls for my daughter's birthday in October, so I was
- 55:25Speaker 1: ordering a lot of stuff from online stores. Last Tuesday,
- 55:30Speaker 1: a box came with some other woman's name on it,
- 55:34Speaker 1: but it had our home address. It had two dresses
- 55:37Speaker 1: and a robe in it, but they were sized small.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I called customer service to figure out the mix up.
- 55:44Speaker 1: The customer service rep was patient while we tried to
- 55:47Speaker 1: figure out the mixup. She gave me the last four
- 55:50Speaker 1: digits of the credit cards that was used, and lo
- 55:53Speaker 1: and behold, it was my husband's American Express card. Then
- 55:57Speaker 1: the customer service rep suggested that I give the box
- 56:00Speaker 1: to my husband and find the lady it belongs to,
- 56:03Speaker 1: or find the lady it belongs to. I couldn't find
- 56:06Speaker 1: any info on the woman, and when I confronted my husband,
- 56:11Speaker 1: he said his card is being used illegally and he
- 56:14Speaker 1: canceled it. I still don't believe he'd buy something for
- 56:18Speaker 1: another woman. What's really going on here? Well, one thing
- 56:23Speaker 1: you are wrong about is you didn't really get proof.
- 56:26Speaker 1: You said you did, but all you have is a
- 56:28Speaker 1: box with a woman's name on it. You don't know
- 56:31Speaker 1: who she is or where she lives. You don't have
- 56:33Speaker 1: a phone number, you don't have any social media information,
- 56:36Speaker 1: You have nothing. Really, Your husband has canceled his American
- 56:40Speaker 1: Express card, so if he was cheating and buying another
- 56:44Speaker 1: woman's stuff, he got away with it in that moment.
- 56:47Speaker 1: You should have waited until you had a little more evidence,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you know, before you confronted your husband. But I do
- 56:54Speaker 1: say to you continue to trust your intuition and keep
- 56:58Speaker 1: watching him, because if he is being unfaithful, he'll do
- 57:02Speaker 1: something stupid again eventually. I know you don't want to
- 57:06Speaker 1: You know you don't want to hear that. You don't
- 57:08Speaker 1: want that to be the case, and I understand that.
- 57:12Speaker 1: But there has to be an explanation for him not
- 57:14Speaker 1: wanting to have sex with you. You said for four months, right,
- 57:17Speaker 1: and you said you stop trying, So that means he's
- 57:20Speaker 1: not trying at all. Why wouldn't he want to have
- 57:23Speaker 1: sex with his wife. Of course you would think if
- 57:28Speaker 1: that's the case, is he doing it with someone else? Well,
- 57:31Speaker 1: There's also still the issue of the woman's name on
- 57:35Speaker 1: that package. It was either a mistake from the post
- 57:38Speaker 1: office or your husband did buy those things for her
- 57:42Speaker 1: and had them sent to your home while you were
- 57:45Speaker 1: out of town. That was so stupid, really stupid. But
- 57:51Speaker 1: if you can find her, I say, keep trying. That
- 57:53Speaker 1: could be the key to unlocking what's really going on here,
- 57:56Speaker 1: because your husband is not going to tell you the truth,
- 57:58Speaker 1: especially if he listens to this show. He's not gonna
- 58:01Speaker 1: tell you the truth that he's got another woman, Steve.
- 58:05Speaker 1: You know I'm telling you these personal injections do you
- 58:10Speaker 1: have into these letters? It's uncalled for, especially if he
- 58:15Speaker 1: listened to this show. Well up, now, okay, you know,
- 58:24Speaker 1: let's talk about the double talking you'll be doing on
- 58:28Speaker 1: this show. Okay, hello, you will not about me. You
- 58:32Speaker 1: will switch your story and your theory to fit a
- 58:39Speaker 1: damn letter. It's my proct stand true to the life.
- 58:48Speaker 1: You're true. It's wait, you're telling the truth about your lives?
- 58:52Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? That's what you're saying exactly,
- 58:58Speaker 1: And here we go again. Excellent customer says, Shirley's always
- 59:04Speaker 1: trying to break up a family. Here she don't ever
- 59:08Speaker 1: take the man. I ain't never met nobody, every man
- 59:14Speaker 1: in the ladder. You got to be careful. You gave
- 59:18Speaker 1: up your card too early. You needed more everdence. All
- 59:22Speaker 1: you had to do is wait a little more ever
- 59:25Speaker 1: to keep watching him. These are the things that Shirley says,
- 59:31Speaker 1: all women that called into yourself. Let me tell you
- 59:37Speaker 1: what happened here. When we come back, I'm gonna do
- 59:40Speaker 1: my letta all at once because I want to go
- 59:43Speaker 1: against because damn it, somebody got to stand up for
- 59:50Speaker 1: these men. Get not against man. Don't you dare put
- 59:54Speaker 1: that out there. I ain't say you was against men.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Don't say that. You don't even and imply it blosted
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: these women up every time they call it, girl, get
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: some more evidence, and you just watch the man. That's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: what those lies are all about, see right there, right there?
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: You assume that the man is lying. But I'm finn
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: to show you, of course, really wrong when we come
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: back and learn yourself. So whatever, how to you today?
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Think of a good life for this letter and getting
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: aside yourself today? Anyway, I'm tired. What are you talking about? Hey? Listen,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response to the Strawberry
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: letter coming up with twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Today's subject is excellent customer service. And we'll be right back.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: is excellent customer service. You know this letter? Right here
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: is this woman. They've been married nine years, they got
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: two daughters. Worked as an area of sales rep, travel
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: once a month service her clients. My husband has recruited
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: his family to help him with his daughters when she's
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: out of town. She says, I admire his parenting, but
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: that's about it. We have not had sex and almost
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: four months, and he seems uninterested five so I've stopped trying. Okay,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you didn't find out what was wrong. You didn't just
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: quit trying. So now y'all sitting up, y'all ain't even
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: looking at each other. When I'm out of town. I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: wonder if he's cheating on me recently I got the proof. Well,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: let's go look at the proof. She got me right
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: on my front port. So here's what she said. During
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the pandemic, my husband wanted to bruce up the theater room.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah. She taught him anywhere. She taught
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: him how to order stuff online. She ended up planning
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: a trip to Deal for her and her girls or
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: daughter's birthday in October, so she was ordering a lot
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: of stuff from online. Story Last Tuesday a box came
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: with another woman's name on it, but it had our
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: home address. It had two dresses and a robe in it,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: but they were side small. Now what have we learned
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: right here? First of all, if a man was doing
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: something wrong, why in the world would he put the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: woman's name on the box and have it shipped to
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: his house? Who do that? No, that's not that's hard. No,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: it was not that stupid Shirley. And it has two
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: dresses in a robe in it, but they were a
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: side small. Now, obviously the writer of the letter is
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: not a small right, And now we have a problem. Yea,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I call customer service to figure out the mix up.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: The customer service rep was patient while we tried to
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: figure out to mess up. I know this, I know
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: this customer service is a woman. I already noticed him.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: She was patient while we tried to figure out to
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: make the mix up. The customer service rep was patient.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Oh here we go. She gave me the last four
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: digits at the credit card that was used, and low
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and behold it was my husband's American Express card. You
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: ain't supposed to give away nobodies credit card information over nobody,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: under no circumstances. Are you to do that? This woman
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: that butted up with another woman to bring another man
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: down credit card. I'll be there the y'all. The customer
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: service red suggested that I give the box to my
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: husband or find the lady it belongs to? What? Who
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: do this in customer service? Right? Who sends a client
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: out looking for another woman and get a box to
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: your husband? And y'all figured it out together? Are you eve?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Or use an evil dudy customer reality did odd? I
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: couldn't find any info on this woman. When I confronted
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: my husband, he said the card is being used illegally
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and he canceled it case clothes. Yeah, he'll tell somebody
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: is using it and he cant dog on. Right he did,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: And then here we go, Sherley, here's the part you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: need to grow up and learn. I'm grown, she said.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I still don't believe he'd buys something for another woman,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: and you shit, you do it all the time here,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Why would have man order something, have it sent to
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: his house and put the woman's name on? Stupid? Why
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: would he do that? That don't make no damp exactly.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You just he just answered the question, junior, And you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: only go out of town once a moonee. Don't come right.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: He doesn't really know how to use the internet online
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: like that. She had to show him, and he just
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: messed up. No, no, I disagree, she said herself. I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: still don't believe he'd buy something for another woman. Oh
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: he canceled the car. But you and that jes try
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to ask you and that busy body asked to a
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: service rep. We set up in here start her fall.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: He passing out last four of credit cards and all
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: this here you low down. That's some duty mess right there.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Two dresses in a rope, size small. We're in it
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: with another woman's name. He's not having sex with her
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: as that? What? What? What's really wrong? Is she mad
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: because she ain't it small? There's some lame brand mess
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: right here. Now Now you mad? Now you mad because
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: she's small? Now you're gonna write a letter in it? Oh,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: it's all last sit in here. Then the customer relp
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: that other We had to get a boy herself, helper.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I see this before. This happens all the time. Girl.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I'm not pleasing this, but here go to last for
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: this credit card. What Please leave your comments on Today's
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM. Check out the
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up next to the
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Yes it is, and we have
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: a big announcement for Junior right after you're listening to
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: the String Show. Well. September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: and Dari, a leader in the treatment of sickle cell disease,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: has announced a collaboration with our very own ker Junior spates. Congratulations,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: kere U and Dari is asking you and has joined
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: with you so you can share your personal experience with
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the use of Indari to treat your sickle cell disease
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: or SCD, and that is really amazing. Junior, Congratulations. This
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: is gonna be great and Dari's collaboration with Junior helps
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: to destigmatize sickle cell disease and spread the word about Indari,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and Dari's chairman and CEO stated, we admire and appreciate
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: mister Spate's courage and living with this disease and publicly
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: sharing his experiences. And we would like to extend our
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: public thanks to Junior, mister Harvey and the co host
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show for their cooperation. So, Junior,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I got to ask you what inspired you to partner
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: with and Doi. You know, this is a company and
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: this drug has really been helping me with my sickle
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: cell disease. Man, I feel great, my energies up, and
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: y'all have noticed I have not been in the hospital
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: for over sixteen months. Yeah, yeah, so you know. And
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the thing about it is too that I want other
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: patients with sickle cell to get on board with this
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: because this is really a game changer for sickle cell.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: It's the first drug that's been approved by the FDA
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: in twenty five years for treatment in sickle cell. When
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: they take a more holistic approach. This is not a
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: drug like that, it's more of an amino acid. This
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: is something your body already means. I want to introduce
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: people with sickle cell to the doctors who are behind this,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the companies that are getting this thing out, and also
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that we're going to create a community, a community of
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: people not just to help you with the sickle cell,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: but with the mental issues with sickle cell. We're gonna
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: be having town hall I'm coming from city to city
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: to sit down and talk with patients, get their story
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: so we can just change the way this whole thing
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: for sickle Cell is seen. Because no longer do you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: have to suffer in silence. Man. Yeah, there's help out here.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: At your first town home meeting and it was great,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: and I want to come to city city, sit down,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: introduce you to these doctors, Introduce you to this company
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: that is one hundred percent behind sickle Cell, and that's
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: what we're gonna be doing. I want to thank doctor Nahara, George, uh,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: doctor A Bear. Man. We're gonna come out here and
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: we just come straight to you in your community, man,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: and get this thing moving. So I'm excited about being
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: on in Dari and I'm excited to get other people
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: in it on Indari. Man, this is gonna be great.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: So this is a really game changing for the sickle
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: cell community. It really, it really is. Yeah, So I'm excited, man, man,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I'm to go congratulation. Yeah, thank you so much. Yeah,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: We're just just happy that you've been so healthy of late,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: you know, so it must be working and absolutely about that.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: All right, Junior, We're good. We'll look forward to the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: next town hall where that's going to be coming up
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. How often do you
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: get asked for favors? And what's the most outrageous request
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you've ever received? As we switch gears, and we'll be
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: right back on the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question for you, guys.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Are you more likely to ask someone for a favor
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: or to be asked for a favor by someone else?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: And if so, what's the most outrageous favor you've been
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: asked for? And? Uh, do you have someone that you
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: can call if you need a favor? Oh yeah, I'm
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: looking at the drug and call. I call you right now.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I don't ever call for that favor. I can't call,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: but I just don't use it. You're looking at runcle
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: right now? Oh yeah, if I need it, But I don't,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you know, I try to get my own thing. I
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: don't want to ask me nothing. I want my own
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: right and I try to let you do that, But
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: let me ask this question. Y'all know what I've been
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: through for the last month, last five six weeks. Let
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: me ask you this. If you were going through the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: situation that I was going and somebody hecks you and say,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I know what you're going through right now, but is
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: it anyway you can loan me thirty five hundred. I
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: know you're going through something, but is it any way
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: you can help me out? Man? I swat to you,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: so everything that happened, I happened. I had to just
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: sit back and say, Okay, is this a test to you?
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Should have sat on the edge of that bed with
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: that hospital gown on, open your legs, took a picture
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: of Sino y'all spot you're behind a selfie or the
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: center and clicked it and sent that to him. Told me,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you are kidding me though in the middle of my storm, man,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: I could not believe it. I'm serious right now. I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: know what you're going through, but is it any kind
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: of way you know here what they're saying, Tommy, Look,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I know what you're going through, and there's a possibility
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: that it could go south. I get this thirt thirty
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: five something mappen man, I'm gonna tell you, man, Tommy,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: you should have sat on the edge of that baby
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that hospital gown on, open your leaves and laid back
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: and took a selfie or I mean you know how
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: baby laid back? Get they die opportunity, put your ankles
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: back up by your ill and take a picture dog
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: that hot. No click, you might not take three or
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: four because you ain't never done it before. You're gonna
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: miss like some of your pictures might just have all
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: that might just have back of your thighing it. But
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: get that camera over in the middle here and click
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: and if you can tap the screen where you can
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: put that little yellow block around it short of focus
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: in on the good so when he get it, he
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: ain't gonna know what it is because most people have
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: never seen this before. That would be your response to
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: the thirty five hundred dollars requests. I did not understand that, man,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I just didn't mastand it. He wouldn't understand that picture either. Yeah,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: you know, but since we're confusing each other. No, I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: love it, Shirley. That's it. That's a great one for you.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: So well, Okay, have you ever been asked? I know
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: you have Steve. Something outrageous, just something crazy, like can
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I tell you what A woman in Africa one time
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: asked me because she meet Marjorie, and I said, she's
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: right over there. She said no, but you have to
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: introduce it. She said, I'm going to ask her if
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: it's okay with her. I want to be your other wife. WHOA,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Oh are you serious now? I mean I had seen
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: a couple of days over there. H you know, Oh
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: she was fine, uh huh. But I said, listen, if
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: you can't anything about our life, yours and mine, right,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: don't go over there after this, just Helper from Memphis,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: because I'm telling you right now it's something wrong with her.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Don't let a little smile it look pretty ask fool
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you this right here, this is gonna cost our life.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Going up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show. Okay, So tell me
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: you've been back at work now for three days. Yeah,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: we're so happy to have you back, of course, and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you posted on social media that you can't wait to
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: grab the mic again on stage now when you do
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: your stand up. So I gotta ask you, are you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: ready to get back out there? You're ready? I'm more
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: than I am. Yeah, I'm more than ready. I got
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I got a few more weeks on my voice to
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: come back. So that's uh, that's what's important. That's the
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: most important thing. But I'm ready and I got of course.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I you know, if you've been down as long, I've
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: written a lot. You got a lot on your man. Huh,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: you got a lot on my man? Yeah? Something As
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: a question, will we be doing cancer jokes? Yes? Will?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Will I be disappointed if you did? Oh? Yeah, we
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: got we got, we got it disappointed? I would be
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: highly disappointed. Listen to the comedians. Yeah, I've been through it.

- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I got to now it's my wife don't like it?

- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Come in and I speak what God lead. Well, I
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: can't leave without kissing. You can't leave. You're gonna come
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: in and that's saying nothing. You come in last in
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: the house. So what you've been doing where you won't
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: talk to me? Yeah, you've been talking to where you
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: all out of talk forty nine minutes after with clothing,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: right after the you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: this Wednesday. Wow, what a day. It's been a good day. Yeah, day,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: grateful day to be here, hop day. Yeah, I am
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: grateful to be here every day. Come on, grateful, grateful. Yeah.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: You you touched a lot of people, Tommy with um,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you know, revealing what you've gone through. You posted your
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: story on Yes you are Surviving and social media. Yeah,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: a lot of people were very moved by that. Yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: you know what, I've heard a lot of people talk,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: which it leads in my closing marks A lot of
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: what Tommy has been dealing with it. We talked about it,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you know, a big part of success. And when I
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: say success, everybody, I'm talking about every aspect of success.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm talking about, whether it's in a relationship, whether it's
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: a career move, whether you're talking about finances, or whether
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you're talking about your health. If you're trying to be
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: successful in those areas, which is the totality of life itself,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: if you're trying to be successful in any area of
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: left of life, you have to develop the proper mindset.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: What Timmy will have revealed earlier in the week when
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: he had got the news and was talking about how
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it feels to hear the C word. When you hear cancer,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: it's gotta be a it's gotta be shocking for anybody.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I don't care who you are, I don't care how
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: strong you are, because cancer. Everybody's life has been affected
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: by cancer. Somebody knows somebody with it. Somebody has been
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: affected by it. Man. And there's no cure for it, right,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: And so you know, when you get the news, it's
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: gotta be it's gotta stumble you. But what happens is
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Tommy developed a mindset that he uses in his life.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: He developed the success mindset, and he applied the mindset.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Now people are saying, well, that ain't it, Steve, It's
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: a part of it, But it starts there because the
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Bible clearly says a man is as he's thinking. So
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: if you get the call and the news is at verse,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: if you say, oh, wild, that's it, I'm gone, then
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: guess what. Your body then prepares itself to be gone.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I mean, it doesn't work any other way, y'all. If
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: you say it's no way I can run one mile,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I can assure you you won't make the mile, because
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: as soon as your body feels the pain or the
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: twins or the hurt, then you're gonna go. I knew
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I couldn't make it. I said I couldn't make it,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: and you stop. But when you have practiced success, you
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: develop a mindset, a mindset of winning. And one of
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the affirmations of a mindset of a winner is faith.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: And what is faith? Faith is the belief in things
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: that you cannot see, and that is so necessary in
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: your fight for your relationship, in your fight for your finances,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: in your fight for your career, in your fight for
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: your health. It is imperative that you develop the mindset
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: that includes faith. Faith is the belief in things that
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you cannot see. You don't have to see it, you
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: do have to believe it though you don't have to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: see how, but you got to believe that. That is
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: a high. You may not know what God gonna do,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: but you got to know he gonna do something. You
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: got to have the mindset. And if you develop that mindset,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: it carries over. Tommy said, I'm just wasn't gonna let
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: it win or beat me. That's an affirmation of faith.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: That is the belief that God can do anything but fail.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: If you put faith with your affirmation and your positive measure,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: you now have a winning hand. But if you don't
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: put the positive affirmation and combine it with faith, you're
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: setting yourself up for Claire. In any aspect of life.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: It's relationships, it's your job, it's relationships and social relationships.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: It's your health, it's your finances, it's everything. Man, Listen, y'all,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: you've got to learn to develop the proper mindset. I'm
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: gonna give you two books. Now. Nothing is greater than
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the Bible, the reading the Book of Proverbs, has changed
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: my life. And it's the only book in the Bible
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: that I've read in its entirety. I'm just gonna be
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: honest with you. I've only read the Book of Proverbs.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: But it's the Book of wisdom and understanding. And I've
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: been reading Proverbs since I was fifteen, and that's all
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I read because I heard my mother say in Sunday
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: school one time that it's the book of wisdom and
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: understand it. And I wanted that because I wanted to
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: be wise in at least developing under standard. I didn't
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: get real smart in school, but I did develop a
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: common sense. That's that's really different from my age, right,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: And so Steve every contests no purchase necessary void where prohibited.
