- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouse turn.
- 1:43Speaker 8: You probably got to turn the mouth out the water
- 1:47Speaker 8: the money up looking, Come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on you, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 9: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 9: One and only.
- 2:09Speaker 10: Steve Harvey got a radio show, ah Man, Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 10: got a radio show because God. Because God is simply amazing,
- 2:18Speaker 10: Because God is off the chain, because God is over
- 2:21Speaker 10: the top, because God is all that in a bag
- 2:24Speaker 10: of chips. God is amazing man. God will take you
- 2:28Speaker 10: places that you never ever thought you would go.
- 2:32Speaker 9: Oh you know what.
- 2:33Speaker 10: It's sometimes it amazes me when I'm watching people talk
- 2:37Speaker 10: about themselves and their careers and where they're at in
- 2:40Speaker 10: life and things, and they and I hear people say,
- 2:44Speaker 10: you know, always dreamed of being here. You know, I
- 2:47Speaker 10: can understand when a person says that I've always dreamed
- 2:51Speaker 10: that of something like this would happen to me.
- 2:53Speaker 9: But I want you to think about that for a second.
- 2:59Speaker 10: Did you really see it just like that, though, Did
- 3:02Speaker 10: you really really see it just like that? Did you
- 3:09Speaker 10: really know that.
- 3:10Speaker 9: God was gonna bring you through all he brought you
- 3:13Speaker 9: through to get you to this place?
- 3:16Speaker 10: Did you know that in spite of the losses along
- 3:19Speaker 10: the way that would crumbled the average person, that somehow
- 3:23Speaker 10: He kept you through it all and that's how you
- 3:25Speaker 10: got here?
- 3:28Speaker 9: Did you think of you know? I mean, you know?
- 3:30Speaker 9: I mean, since you're so busy talking about yourself.
- 3:33Speaker 10: Now, have you forgotten all the times He was bringing
- 3:38Speaker 10: you through when you didn't see no way that you
- 3:41Speaker 10: was gonna get through?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Do you remember that?
- 3:44Speaker 10: So when you sit there and you say, I dreamed
- 3:48Speaker 10: of this, this is what I always saw happening, I
- 3:51Speaker 10: don't really think. So, I don't really think. If you
- 3:54Speaker 10: take inventory, or real close inventory of your life and
- 3:58Speaker 10: you look back on it all at the moment right now,
- 4:01Speaker 10: remember where you come from. See, that's what gets me
- 4:04Speaker 10: emotional sometimes, that's what makes me tear up, because when
- 4:08Speaker 10: something is happening to me in the moment, it ain't
- 4:11Speaker 10: the moment for me, it's the memory of how I
- 4:15Speaker 10: got there. It's the recollection of all the things, all
- 4:20Speaker 10: the nights, all the days, in that car all the
- 4:24Speaker 10: times by myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna
- 4:27Speaker 10: make it, But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing
- 4:30Speaker 10: out on the ward to me or somebody calling my name,
- 4:33Speaker 10: that's that.
- 4:35Speaker 9: Did you really think you was gonna make it?
- 4:37Speaker 11: Then?
- 4:38Speaker 9: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 9: I always dreamed?
- 4:41Speaker 10: Did you really think in those moments right there that
- 4:45Speaker 10: you would even be standing here today? That's why I
- 4:47Speaker 10: try to I try to get people to understand, you know,
- 4:50Speaker 10: and and and and this is kind of for young
- 4:52Speaker 10: people today what I'm about to say. But then guess
- 4:55Speaker 10: what I sometimes I had to remind myself of it,
- 4:58Speaker 10: so I guess it's still kind of for every you know,
- 5:01Speaker 10: because I work with a lot of young people, and
- 5:04Speaker 10: so many times, man, young people just don't understand what
- 5:09Speaker 10: all it takes. And I know it if you're a
- 5:12Speaker 10: full grown adult, if you're forty, you really understanding where
- 5:16Speaker 10: I'm coming from, because you know it's listen to me,
- 5:21Speaker 10: young people or anybody that don't understand this, that you
- 5:25Speaker 10: got to do some things that you don't want to
- 5:28Speaker 10: do in order to do what you want to do.
- 5:32Speaker 10: You have to understand this principle of success or else
- 5:36Speaker 10: you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 9: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 9: ultimate goal, is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 9: all of that.
- 5:46Speaker 10: But in the meantime, though, there are some necessary steps
- 5:50Speaker 10: that you have to take in order to become successful,
- 5:53Speaker 10: and you cannot skip these steps. You can't jump over
- 5:57Speaker 10: these steps just because you want to be rich. Friday,
- 5:59Speaker 10: I got that.
- 6:00Speaker 9: I got that. Everybody got that.
- 6:04Speaker 10: But if you want this, whatever you're talking about, whether
- 6:07Speaker 10: it's money or success or fame or climbing the corporate
- 6:11Speaker 10: letter or this is the position or you all, that's
- 6:14Speaker 10: fine and day please hold on to your dreams. Dreams
- 6:18Speaker 10: come true. But in the meantime, let me remind you
- 6:23Speaker 10: of something that you gotta do some things you don't
- 6:26Speaker 10: want to do in order to do what you want
- 6:30Speaker 10: to do.
- 6:31Speaker 9: Let's say you want to be rich and famous. Let's
- 6:33Speaker 9: just say that's it for you.
- 6:35Speaker 11: Now.
- 6:35Speaker 10: It's a lot of other ways of being successful. Please
- 6:37Speaker 10: don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:39Speaker 10: let's just say, yo, it is rich and famous. And
- 6:42Speaker 10: let's say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:47Speaker 10: Next Friday, ta dad, d y'all you rich and you famous?
- 6:52Speaker 10: Next Friday, can I share something with you? This is
- 6:54Speaker 10: not going to last for you. You know why because
- 6:58Speaker 10: you have not done the thing it's necessary. You have
- 7:02Speaker 10: not done the things that you have to do in
- 7:06Speaker 10: order to do the things you want. So now you're
- 7:08Speaker 10: rich and famous, how you gonna know how to budget money?
- 7:14Speaker 10: How you gonna know how to get up and keep
- 7:16Speaker 10: clawing towards the top when you fall off your pedestal.
- 7:20Speaker 9: See, it's so many things.
- 7:22Speaker 10: You got to know about something, and you think because
- 7:26Speaker 10: it's what you want right now, it's supposed to happen
- 7:28Speaker 10: just now. It's a process. When you ask God for something.
- 7:31Speaker 10: Please know God know the process. He know the necessary
- 7:35Speaker 10: steps to take you through. Don't lose your patience with
- 7:38Speaker 10: God because your dreams ain't coming true right now? Man,
- 7:45Speaker 10: you know, I think the best way y'all is for me.
- 7:48Speaker 10: I just use myself as an example. I really do
- 7:50Speaker 10: understand why God has given me the life he's given
- 7:53Speaker 10: me so far. I understand the being homeless part. Now
- 7:57Speaker 10: I get to not being successful when I want it
- 8:00Speaker 10: two part.
- 8:00Speaker 9: Now I get it.
- 8:01Speaker 10: I got the delayed entry into the field of choice
- 8:05Speaker 10: for myself. I got it now. I've been wanting to
- 8:07Speaker 10: be on TV and a little comedian since I was
- 8:10Speaker 10: nine years old. But guess what, I didn't get there
- 8:12Speaker 10: until I was twenty eight. But see I didn't get
- 8:16Speaker 10: it then. I was mad at God. You know what
- 8:19Speaker 10: I want, and I'm sent up here here. I got
- 8:21Speaker 10: exactly what you want. But I got this process. I
- 8:23Speaker 10: want you to go through to get here too, because see,
- 8:26Speaker 10: I'm finna take you somewhere. You don't know nothing, but
- 8:28Speaker 10: one day you're gonna have a radio show with you
- 8:30Speaker 10: a little stupid behind. You don't know this shit. I'm
- 8:32Speaker 10: gonna bless you with a radio show. You don't even
- 8:35Speaker 10: know it. That's why I say every morning, Steve Harvey
- 8:37Speaker 10: got a radio show. Because see, I didn't see this
- 8:40Speaker 10: one coming. But see God had planned for me. It
- 8:42Speaker 10: was in the blueprint of my life. So God said,
- 8:45Speaker 10: what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna make your life
- 8:47Speaker 10: a little rough for you. I'm gonna toss you up
- 8:50Speaker 10: a little bit. I'm gonna let you make some of
- 8:53Speaker 10: these stupid decisions you wanna make, and I'm gonna make
- 8:55Speaker 10: you learn from them. Ima, I'm gonna let you be
- 8:58Speaker 10: homeless for a little while. I'm gonna let you not
- 9:01Speaker 10: get into your field of choice until you're twenty eight.
- 9:04Speaker 10: I'm gonna have people talking about if we had only
- 9:06Speaker 10: seen him when he was younger. I ain't gonna let
- 9:08Speaker 10: you get your first con your name to your thirty eight.
- 9:11Speaker 10: I'm gonna make you go through some things because one
- 9:14Speaker 10: day I'm gonna put a microphone in front of your mouth,
- 9:16Speaker 10: and I want you to honor me.
- 9:18Speaker 9: I want you to talk about me. I want you
- 9:20Speaker 9: to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 10: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 10: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:28Speaker 10: minute and I turned your life around for you.
- 9:30Speaker 9: That's God dealing with me.
- 9:33Speaker 2: See.
- 9:33Speaker 10: So now I finally understand why I went through the
- 9:36Speaker 10: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 9:40Speaker 10: I ain't over here telling you about what I think
- 9:42Speaker 10: will happen. I'm telling you what I know can happen.
- 9:45Speaker 10: That God does make dreams come true, but sometime it
- 9:49Speaker 10: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
- 9:51Speaker 10: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 9:53Speaker 10: what you wanna do. All right, all that you, I'm gonna.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Be tripping to day you're listening morning show.

- 27:22Speaker 15: my wife and I are fifty eight years old. She
- 27:25Speaker 15: has had a male best friend since they were eight
- 27:27Speaker 15: years old, and she asked if he can stay with
- 27:29Speaker 15: us next weekend. I asked if she would be fine
- 27:32Speaker 15: if I had a woman staying here. She said, it's
- 27:35Speaker 15: not the same, And okay, Ritchie wants to know, how is.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It not the same? How is it not? They've known
- 27:42Speaker 1: each other since they were eight years old. He wants
- 27:44Speaker 1: to stay over the weekend.
- 27:46Speaker 2: While the husband gone, no, no, the husband's been there.
- 27:49Speaker 1: The husband.
- 27:50Speaker 15: The husband just asked her, you know, he flipped it
- 27:54Speaker 15: on her. How would you feel if I had a
- 27:56Speaker 15: woman staying here and his wife says.
- 27:59Speaker 1: It's not the same. It's not the same, baby, It
- 28:01Speaker 1: is the same thing.
- 28:02Speaker 12: It is the same thing. That man gotta find somewhere
- 28:04Speaker 12: to stay. We gotta get in my hotel. He can't
- 28:06Speaker 12: be staying up in here. If not, you're gonna have
- 28:07Speaker 12: that August thing going on. You got you got to
- 28:09Speaker 12: find somewhere else to stay.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it is what it is.
- 28:16Speaker 16: JI tell you what he could stay. I'm gonna get
- 28:19Speaker 16: my female best friend. She's gonna stay. We're all gonna
- 28:21Speaker 16: be in here together.
- 28:21Speaker 2: That's what we're gonna do.
- 28:23Speaker 16: The purpose color purple moment people. Yeah, we all have it,
- 28:27Speaker 16: mell and you shall never part. We won't have all
- 28:29Speaker 16: that in here.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 14: No, No, he can't stay here.
- 28:35Speaker 1: No, but they're friends and eight expired come back.
- 28:41Speaker 12: Ain't no telling what they did at fifteen, ain't no
- 28:43Speaker 12: telling what they did at fifteen.
- 28:47Speaker 1: So it's an absolute no, no, absolutely no, unless you
- 28:51Speaker 1: bring your female.
- 28:52Speaker 16: If I could bring my friend and my female best friend,
- 28:54Speaker 16: we can all sit up in here, then No, we're
- 28:57Speaker 16: all ready to love to see they love next day him.
- 29:01Speaker 14: Yeah, things we could do what things we could do.
- 29:05Speaker 15: All right, guys, that's today's edition of Riddelo and Junior
- 29:10Speaker 15: as coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Remember that time we were playing hide and go gee.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Let's play it at a game, all right, man, let's
- 29:23Speaker 1: play it a game.
- 29:24Speaker 4: You're listening hard morning show.
- 29:29Speaker 15: All right, guys, Let's catch up on some national news stories.
- 29:33Speaker 15: Of course, all things Donald Trump. Right now, Donald Trump
- 29:36Speaker 15: got shot. He got shot with a bullet. The bullet
- 29:39Speaker 15: grazed his ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, and
- 29:43Speaker 15: the alleged gunman was shot and killed. Then on Monday,
- 29:47Speaker 15: Trump's classified documents case was dismissed and he selected JD.
- 29:52Speaker 15: Vance as his running mate this year. So let's start
- 29:56Speaker 15: with the the shooting of Trump.
- 30:00Speaker 1: At the rally.
- 30:01Speaker 15: Do you guys A lot of people were saying it
- 30:03Speaker 15: was staged initially, What do you guys think.
- 30:05Speaker 12: I've never seen a shooting, and I have been in
- 30:10Speaker 12: a couple of areas where shooting has broken out, but
- 30:13Speaker 12: I've never seen a shooting. Was nobody dispersed? Well, it
- 30:17Speaker 12: just wasn't. It wasn't pandemoniic. I just I've never seen
- 30:20Speaker 12: where people didn't break out of running. That's the only
- 30:22Speaker 12: thing that amazed me is that I just didn't understand
- 30:25Speaker 12: why when people scattered and running and getting out of
- 30:27Speaker 12: the way.
- 30:29Speaker 2: That just so that's what made me think, is this
- 30:32Speaker 2: all the way real? I couldn't. Yeah, I couldn't figure
- 30:34Speaker 2: it all the way out.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Well into that maybe people thought it was firecrackers. Maybe
- 30:39Speaker 6: at first they didn't know because it didn't.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Sound like a heavy gunshot, right, and.
- 30:44Speaker 1: It was an AR fifteen right, you know.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Yeah, here's the thing too, this assassin assassination attempt. Yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 6: this man was on the roof of a building. Spectators
- 30:57Speaker 6: were there, they saw him, and so there seems to
- 31:00Speaker 6: be an issue with security, with the Secret Service and
- 31:04Speaker 6: the local local police that spectators warned jaw that this
- 31:09Speaker 6: man was up there and how did he get up there?
- 31:12Speaker 15: But yeah, and the thing was that that particular roof
- 31:15Speaker 15: area they say was out of their realm of security.
- 31:19Speaker 15: You know, they had secured everything else, but that wasn't
- 31:21Speaker 15: in there, you know, in their realm of security.
- 31:25Speaker 1: So that's they that that rooftop wasn't secured.
- 31:29Speaker 2: It wasn't and how does that kid know that, how
- 31:31Speaker 2: does he know that that's not in their realm?
- 31:34Speaker 6: Well, he probably couldn't get in. Then he can't get
- 31:36Speaker 6: in the event with a weapon. He knows, he knew that,
- 31:39Speaker 6: so he was outside of the venue.
- 31:43Speaker 1: With the weapon.
- 31:44Speaker 6: But anyway, I understand what you're saying about the way
- 31:47Speaker 6: it looks the way it appears like.
- 31:51Speaker 1: But it was assassination attempt, which is scary, which is.
- 31:55Speaker 2: By a registered Republican.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Yes, yes, against the candidate, Yes, his candidate.
- 32:02Speaker 12: Yeah, that's confused and all within itself, that's confused.
- 32:05Speaker 6: I just and then he had his ear bandage at
- 32:08Speaker 6: the Republican convention and the former president, yeah, when he
- 32:13Speaker 6: made his appearance the other night, So go ahead, Shirley will.
- 32:17Speaker 15: Yeah, okay, So yeah, that's one thing. Then the judge
- 32:22Speaker 15: dismissed Trump's classified documents case. So this was after the
- 32:28Speaker 15: assassination attempt. So oh, she'll be a Supreme Court nominee.
- 32:32Speaker 15: You gotta watch, y'all got to pay attention. Y'all going
- 32:35Speaker 15: to pay attention as what's going on. Y'all need to
- 32:38Speaker 15: get out to the polls and vote.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Vote. Y'all need to see what's happening.
- 32:42Speaker 15: And let us also say too about this assassination attempt.
- 32:47Speaker 15: Someone lost their life here, a man died. Two other
- 32:51Speaker 15: people were injured as well, you know, during this thing.
- 32:55Speaker 15: And that's said, so sad, so sad. You're going to
- 32:59Speaker 15: a rally, political rally, you don't think this would happen.
- 33:02Speaker 15: A lot of people were saying too, getting back on
- 33:04Speaker 15: the Secret Service thing, that they're kind of out of practice.
- 33:08Speaker 15: They're spread so thin during these campaigns. They're out of
- 33:11Speaker 15: practice because we haven't had an assassination attempt in so
- 33:14Speaker 15: long since Ragan forty yeah, forty three years or something
- 33:18Speaker 15: like that.
- 33:19Speaker 1: So you know, this is what they're trained to do, though.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Yeah, but this is what.
- 33:22Speaker 15: They're trained to do exactly. That they are spread very
- 33:26Speaker 15: very thin, especially during election times. They have to be everywhere.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Let's let's also talk about this though, this situation. The
- 33:34Speaker 6: Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, it's going down Republican National Convention,
- 33:39Speaker 6: it's going down this week in Milwaukee.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Speakers.
- 33:42Speaker 6: Amborrows tattoo head tattoo on her forehead. She got it fair,
- 33:46Speaker 6: she spoke, she talked about this is where she belongs.
- 33:49Speaker 6: She endorses Donald Trump. Now her father changed her mind
- 33:53Speaker 6: about ambarrows am borrows.
- 33:58Speaker 10: Of time.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Oh, I ain't never been to your guy.
- 34:03Speaker 6: North Carolina's Lieutenant Governor Mark Roverson was there.
- 34:06Speaker 1: South Carolina Senator Tim Scott Dallas. You know he's going
- 34:10Speaker 1: to be there. Yeah, Johnson, so you all need.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I got to show up. Now, you can not have
- 34:20Speaker 2: it with at least a slade. You got to at
- 34:23Speaker 2: least one go ahead.
- 34:26Speaker 15: No, that's okay, because we have to talk about uh
- 34:30Speaker 15: Trump's pick for vice president, jd Vance.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Ohio.
- 34:38Speaker 15: This man was Trump's enemy. He didn't like Trump at all, okay.
- 34:42Speaker 15: He called them America's Hitler cultural heroine. I mean, Republicans
- 34:48Speaker 15: are really some forgiving people, aren't they.
- 34:51Speaker 1: He said that people that vote for Trump are idiots.
- 34:55Speaker 6: He also said that Trump makes people I care about afraid, immigrants, Muslims,
- 35:03Speaker 6: all of the things that he says. So now he
- 35:05Speaker 6: says I was wrong. I was wrong, and now he
- 35:11Speaker 6: is his He's honored to be his vice president.
- 35:14Speaker 1: He was a never Trumper. He called Trump a cynical
- 35:17Speaker 1: a hole.
- 35:18Speaker 14: I mean, but that changes once you say I'm the
- 35:22Speaker 14: vice president. You have to change it.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Hey, I have to change, all right.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Democrats that's who.
- 35:32Speaker 12: Yeah need Democrats ain't got no backbone calling they got
- 35:38Speaker 12: drive me nuts.
- 35:39Speaker 2: They got no backbone. They're pulling out on each other.
- 35:42Speaker 15: Financial need to stick together. Take a lesson from the
- 35:45Speaker 15: Republicans and stick together. They go hard calling on your
- 35:48Speaker 15: president to resign. The Republicans are playing chess. Democrats are
- 35:54Speaker 15: playing checkers.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Always you're right game. All right, thank you guys.
- 35:58Speaker 15: Coming up in twenty minutes after he Estonians came together

- 39:00Speaker 12: Don't you do nothing else? Would our degenerate to get here?
- 39:03Speaker 12: And man, I felt so bad. It's to be away

- 39:09Speaker 11: Man.
- 39:10Speaker 2: If we got trees coming about the ground, it was
- 39:12Speaker 2: a mess.
- 39:12Speaker 15: So it was as Yeah, so generators on the way, okay,

- 45:28Speaker 12: I got a way of it house, I got the
- 45:30Speaker 12: way it happened. Here we go, corporate punishment. Let's go
- 45:34Speaker 12: catch up. Oh hello, hello, Hi, I'm I'm trying to
- 45:40Speaker 12: reach it, mister cotton. Miss okay, can you turn your
- 45:44Speaker 12: radio or TV down? I can't really hear you, sir.
- 45:48Speaker 12: My name is mister Lanson. I'm actually the new principal
- 45:51Speaker 12: here at middle school.
- 45:53Speaker 2: And what's the name again, mister Lanson? Your your son?
- 45:58Speaker 2: He attends middle school here? Am I correct?
- 46:00Speaker 6: Yes?
- 46:01Speaker 11: Sir?
- 46:01Speaker 2: Okay, good listen. I'm the new principal here.
- 46:04Speaker 12: We've just replaced the last principle and I'm actually calling around.
- 46:09Speaker 12: What I've done is when I before I got here,
- 46:11Speaker 12: I asked for a list of students that were you know,
- 46:14Speaker 12: I'm not going to say problem kids, but you know
- 46:17Speaker 12: that kind of get themselves in a little trouble here
- 46:19Speaker 12: and there, and your son's name happens.
- 46:21Speaker 2: To be on the list.
- 46:22Speaker 7: Name on that list.
- 46:24Speaker 12: Yes, I got about I got about thirty five kids
- 46:27Speaker 12: that are actually on this list, and your son is
- 46:31Speaker 12: actually on the list, and you are mister Cotton, correct, I.
- 46:35Speaker 7: Am mister Cotten. I mean, are you sure you speaking
- 46:37Speaker 7: about my son?
- 46:38Speaker 11: Though?
- 46:39Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean there's only there's only one on the list, sir,
- 46:42Speaker 12: I'm I'm it's it's it's what's been given to me.
- 46:45Speaker 12: And what what I'm doing is calling around to all
- 46:47Speaker 12: of the parents of the kids that are on this
- 46:50Speaker 12: list and letting you guys know that I'm going to
- 46:53Speaker 12: be keeping a close eye on them as well as
- 46:56Speaker 12: letting you know that I'm going to be reinstating corporal
- 46:58Speaker 12: punishment here in the cool.
- 47:00Speaker 7: So, so what's that.
- 47:03Speaker 12: That's actually where if your son gets sent to the office,
- 47:05Speaker 12: which is my office, then there will be paddling going on.
- 47:09Speaker 12: And opposed to I don't believe in I don't believe
- 47:11Speaker 12: in I don't believe in suspension. I believe in you know,
- 47:15Speaker 12: if we spank these kids, we can get them back
- 47:17Speaker 12: in order. So, sir, here's my thing.
- 47:21Speaker 2: I really truly believe that we get back to to
- 47:25Speaker 2: you know, and I don't mean what I'm about to
- 47:26Speaker 2: say to be harsh, but if we get back to beaten,
- 47:29Speaker 2: we'll get these kids back in order.
- 47:30Speaker 7: I mean, but I know he had trouble in English,
- 47:33Speaker 7: but I don't think that would calls for beaten.
- 47:37Speaker 2: No, no, no, this has nothing to do with great, sir.
- 47:40Speaker 2: This has to do with punishment.
- 47:41Speaker 12: And what I'm understanding is if your son is on
- 47:43Speaker 12: my list, and if your son comes down to my office,
- 47:46Speaker 12: I'm going to take care of it right.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Then and there.
- 47:49Speaker 7: If my son come to your offer, you're gonna be
- 47:50Speaker 7: on my damn list.
- 47:52Speaker 11: Sir.
- 47:53Speaker 12: I'm trying to get these kids back in order, and
- 47:55Speaker 12: that's the reason why I've been brought in and I've
- 47:57Speaker 12: replaced the last principle.
- 47:58Speaker 2: You understand. So what I need from you is to.
- 48:00Speaker 12: Get a to get a great understanding that if your
- 48:03Speaker 12: child comes to my office, corporal punishment will be what
- 48:06Speaker 12: he's going to deal with.

- 54:31Speaker 1: All right and if you thank you? Subject?
- 54:33Speaker 15: What's up with my spoiled old man? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:37Speaker 15: I'm a forty four year old married woman and my
- 54:40Speaker 15: husband has been sleeping in the other room lately. He
- 54:43Speaker 15: and I got into an argument on Easter weekend and
- 54:45Speaker 15: he told me that he could do a lot better
- 54:47Speaker 15: than me and find someone that doesn't nag him or
- 54:50Speaker 15: treat him like a child. He's sixty seven and we've
- 54:53Speaker 15: been married for four years. Since we got married, I
- 54:58Speaker 15: bathe him every night. I put lotion on his body,
- 55:02Speaker 15: and I suffer through bad sex. I also cook every night.
- 55:05Speaker 15: I wash all of his clothes, and I wash both
- 55:08Speaker 15: of our cars whenever they need to be cleaned or what.
- 55:12Speaker 1: He complains about me.
- 55:14Speaker 15: To his friends, and they all say he is crazy
- 55:18Speaker 15: and he's got it made. I overheard him on the
- 55:20Speaker 15: phone telling his son that I stop bathing him because
- 55:23Speaker 15: I'm lazy and I put my own needs before his.
- 55:27Speaker 1: He's dern right, I do.
- 55:29Speaker 15: I treated him like a king, and nothing is wrong
- 55:32Speaker 15: with his legs or arms, so he can wash his
- 55:34Speaker 15: own behind. I've been snooping to see if he's entertaining
- 55:37Speaker 15: another woman, but I didn't see anything in his phone
- 55:40Speaker 15: or computer, so I have no idea what's gotten into him.
- 55:43Speaker 15: He did withdraw five thousand dollars out of his savings
- 55:46Speaker 15: account last week, and when I asked him about it,
- 55:49Speaker 15: he yelled and screamed so loud I thought he was
- 55:53Speaker 15: about to have a heart attack. I told him that
- 55:56Speaker 15: maybe I treat him like a kid, because I take
- 55:58Speaker 15: care of him like he's my kid. I stopped cooking
- 56:01Speaker 15: and washing his clothes last month. Yesterday he came in
- 56:04Speaker 15: with his clothes in a basket, neatly folded, and he
- 56:07Speaker 15: had two plates of food covered in aluminum foil.
- 56:12Speaker 1: I couldn't believe him.
- 56:14Speaker 15: There has to be another woman, right, Does he think
- 56:17Speaker 15: another woman will treat him like I do?
- 56:18Speaker 1: What should I do? Okay, wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 56:22Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
- 56:23Speaker 15: You're bathing a grown man every night. He's not sick
- 56:28Speaker 15: or anything, no medical reason for this. You're just bathing
- 56:32Speaker 15: him and loationing him and all of this. Uh huh No, No,
- 56:36Speaker 15: call me crazy, but I've just never heard of this before.
- 56:40Speaker 15: What's more, this man doesn't respect you. He doesn't appreciate
- 56:43Speaker 15: any of the things you do for him.
- 56:45Speaker 1: His friends were right. What is he complaining about. He's
- 56:47Speaker 1: got it made.
- 56:48Speaker 15: There's nothing more to say here, really, except I'm glad
- 56:51Speaker 15: you finally came to your senses and stopped bathing him
- 56:54Speaker 15: and loationing him, cooking and doing the laundry, suffering through
- 56:57Speaker 15: horrible sex, and washing his car. Come on, lady, this
- 57:03Speaker 15: is a fully grown man, sixty seven years old. He's
- 57:06Speaker 15: capable of doing all the things that you're doing for him. Yes,
- 57:09Speaker 15: of course, he got another woman to do those.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Things for him. He's paying her. He is paying her.
- 57:15Speaker 1: That's the only difference.
- 57:16Speaker 15: I'm sure that's why he went into a rage when
- 57:18Speaker 15: you asked him about the five thousand dollars. Let this
- 57:21Speaker 15: man go, please, he's not worth it and you could
- 57:23Speaker 15: do much better. That's all I have to say to you.
- 57:26Speaker 15: Let him go, Tommy, if.
- 57:29Speaker 12: You don't bathe me, glad as will. Now I'm just
- 57:32Speaker 12: gonna take If you don't bathe me, glad as will.
- 57:35Speaker 12: What you're not gonna do is start our relationship out
- 57:38Speaker 12: with you bathing me, washing my clothes, cooking for me,
- 57:42Speaker 12: folding up all my stuff, and washing my car. What
- 57:45Speaker 12: you're not gonna do is start our relationship. I'd like this,
- 57:47Speaker 12: and they're gonna stop four five years later. I'm not
- 57:50Speaker 12: gonna take it. I'm not finished. Down the rest, somebody
- 57:53Speaker 12: gonna bathe me. If you're not gonna bathe me, Gladys will,
- 57:55Speaker 12: I'm sorry. I have got gotten accustomed.
- 57:58Speaker 2: To being bathed.
- 57:59Speaker 12: So I'm gonna walk aroun down here naked for a
- 58:00Speaker 12: few minutes and see if you're gonna get this done.
- 58:02Speaker 12: If not, Gladys to do it, I'm sorry you started
- 58:06Speaker 12: out doing this. You have got to continue what you started.
- 58:09Speaker 12: What the older ladies say, whatever it took to get
- 58:11Speaker 12: that man, you got to keep doing it. You started
- 58:14Speaker 12: out bathing this man.
- 58:16Speaker 2: And I'm not.
- 58:17Speaker 12: Gonna be walking around here dirty because you don't feel
- 58:20Speaker 12: like bathy being And I'm not getting in that car
- 58:22Speaker 12: and that car ain't clean.
- 58:23Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not getting in that car, and you
- 58:25Speaker 2: ain't cleaning.
- 58:27Speaker 12: You don't pull that car, pull that I pull that
- 58:29Speaker 12: car out that garage and I'm leaving in thirty minutes,
- 58:32Speaker 12: and I need this car clean before I get up
- 58:34Speaker 12: out of here. Hello, So you're not gonna do it? Fine,
- 58:38Speaker 12: I go to Gladys glass and cook me something to eat.
- 58:40Speaker 12: And yeah, I brought two things home with some fall
- 58:42Speaker 12: in it. That's none of that is for you. That's
- 58:45Speaker 12: what Gladys may eat for the men have any Ain't
- 58:48Speaker 12: nobody brought you nothing from gladys house and Gladyson put
- 58:51Speaker 12: Gladyson put that gain in there. And they're down here
- 58:54Speaker 12: on my clothes, and my clothes smell excellent, and they
- 58:57Speaker 12: are folded and they look nice. And I am gonna
- 58:59Speaker 12: be fine, And yes I am clean. If you sniff me,
- 59:02Speaker 12: I smell like some great soap because Gladys done took
- 59:05Speaker 12: care of me.
- 59:06Speaker 2: I'm not finna sit up there and argue with you.
- 59:08Speaker 12: You've been cleaning cloth, you've been cleaning me, you've been folding,

- 59:14Speaker 12: you've been bathing what what now?
- 59:16Speaker 2: All of a sudden we threw.
- 59:19Speaker 1: So he can bathe himself.
- 59:21Speaker 12: No, Suirley, for the last four years that we have
- 59:24Speaker 12: been married, she has been bathing me. And now we No,
- 59:29Speaker 12: everybody don't have bathers. And I understand that. I understand
- 59:32Speaker 12: that everybody don't have bathers once you get one.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Oh you not losing your baby? Oh no, you're not
- 59:39Speaker 2: finna change. Why you make me feel Oh no, no,

- 1:00:52Speaker 2: up under.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: That, you're listening Morning show.
- 1:00:57Speaker 15: All right, it is time now to recap today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:01:00Speaker 15: and then we're gonna hear from Junior. Subject what is
- 1:01:03Speaker 15: up with my spoiled old man? A forty four year
- 1:01:05Speaker 15: old woman wrote in She's married to a sixty seven
- 1:01:08Speaker 15: year old man. They've been married for four years. Every night,
- 1:01:12Speaker 15: this woman, this dutiful, faithful wife, bathes her husband. Now
- 1:01:17Speaker 15: he's perfectly healthy, perfectly fine. She bathes her husband, lotions
- 1:01:22Speaker 15: her husband down, She cooks for him, she cleans for him,
- 1:01:28Speaker 15: she washes both their cars. I mean, and on top
- 1:01:33Speaker 15: of all of that, she has to suffer through bad
- 1:01:35Speaker 15: sex with this man. So I guess she just got
- 1:01:38Speaker 15: fed up.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Fed up.
- 1:01:39Speaker 15: He started complaining, saying she's lazy because she stopped doing
- 1:01:43Speaker 15: these things. But his friends, his friends are telling him
- 1:01:46Speaker 15: what is he complaining about? Because he's got it made.
- 1:01:50Speaker 15: So she's thinking now that he's coming home with plates
- 1:01:54Speaker 15: of food and his laundry folded and all that, that
- 1:01:58Speaker 15: he's got another woman. Plus he took five grand out
- 1:02:01Speaker 15: of the bank and when she asked him about it,
- 1:02:03Speaker 15: he started hollering and screaming at her.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So she's just wanting to know is there another woman?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And what should she do?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Junior?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: What you got?
- 1:02:12Speaker 16: You know, I don't really like talking about people who
- 1:02:16Speaker 16: like bathing. I really don't like that. I really don't
- 1:02:19Speaker 16: think that's really something. I'm four, I'll be everybody take
- 1:02:22Speaker 16: a bath every day. But I just want to say,

- 1:06:14Speaker 1: She didn't say that.
- 1:06:15Speaker 15: She said she bathed him and lotioned him down after
- 1:06:20Speaker 15: the fact.
- 1:06:21Speaker 12: And now that may have been walking around ash like

- 1:07:28Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:07:30Speaker 16: Shortly before I get to that, you know, back in June,
- 1:07:33Speaker 16: I did the race down in Dallas.
- 1:07:34Speaker 14: I did a nice race down there.
- 1:07:36Speaker 16: Appreciate all the support and love for the five k
- 1:07:39Speaker 16: run for Here's Hope in Dallas.
- 1:07:41Speaker 14: But now I got another.
- 1:07:42Speaker 16: What I'm doing here and this is the first one
- 1:07:44Speaker 16: I've ever done here in Atlanta on September seventh. We're
- 1:07:48Speaker 16: not doing it at a park. We're not doing it
- 1:07:50Speaker 16: at a track. Were doing it at the battery home
- 1:07:54Speaker 16: of the Atlanta Braids. Yeah, oh, you know, we're gonna
- 1:07:56Speaker 16: do it at the battery home of the Atlanta Braids.
- 1:07:59Speaker 16: Man Chamber seven, it's gonna be huge, man. Go to
- 1:08:02Speaker 16: Kershope dot org and register right now as k I
- 1:08:05Speaker 16: E R S dot org and registered right now to
- 1:08:08Speaker 16: be at the battery with us. Man.
- 1:08:10Speaker 14: It's gonna be a lot of fun, man.
- 1:08:11Speaker 16: All this money goes to raise support for kres Hope
- 1:08:14Speaker 16: and all the people that are going through Junior Claus
- 1:08:16Speaker 16: this year down in Norfolk, Virginia and so man, it's
- 1:08:20Speaker 16: gonna be fun. But we're gonna be at the Battery
- 1:08:22Speaker 16: September seventh. I can't wait to see.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Yall out there.
- 1:08:24Speaker 14: It's gonna be a lot of fun. All right, here
- 1:08:25Speaker 14: we go, let's get the sports.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:08:27Speaker 16: Jalen Bronson is the king of New York. I'm telling you,
- 1:08:30Speaker 16: this boy is the king of New York. He signed
- 1:08:32Speaker 16: a four year, one hundred and fifty six million dollar deal.
- 1:08:35Speaker 16: Now everybody's upset with him, but he left one hundred
- 1:08:38Speaker 16: and thirteen million dollars on the table. But he did
- 1:08:40Speaker 16: that to help boast of the New York Knicks roster,
- 1:08:42Speaker 16: and everybody says it's very selfless move on Brunt's part. Now,
- 1:08:46Speaker 16: all this, could, you know, help bring in new players
- 1:08:48Speaker 16: and keep them as Italian contenders for the New York Knicks.
- 1:08:51Speaker 16: But my question is for Tommy. Hey, Tommy, would you
- 1:08:55Speaker 16: take less money just for us to stay on this team?
- 1:08:57Speaker 14: Right here? If you had to take less money, would
- 1:08:59Speaker 14: you take less money to Tommy?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: No, hell, I'm taking less money for fun to help me.
- 1:09:05Speaker 14: Carl and Shirley and Mon what are you talking about
- 1:09:08Speaker 14: to help take?
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:09:09Speaker 16: Did you take less money like he took less money
- 1:09:12Speaker 16: so he can help the Knicks keep up competitive roster?
- 1:09:15Speaker 16: Would you take less money on the radio show to
- 1:09:17Speaker 16: help keep this competitive roster we have?
- 1:09:18Speaker 14: Would you take this money?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: We're doing pretty damn good.
- 1:09:21Speaker 14: I mean the answer, so you wouldn't do it.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I don't like you asking me these type of questions
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: in public like this. I don't like that in front.
- 1:09:32Speaker 16: In front of it right here, so they say, hey,
- 1:09:35Speaker 16: if tom hey, we're gonna have to let us go.
- 1:09:38Speaker 16: But if Tommy takes less money, then we could all
- 1:09:40Speaker 16: stay in here and still be competitive on morning show?
- 1:09:43Speaker 14: Would you do that for us? Just asking, just waiting
- 1:09:45Speaker 14: on you.
- 1:09:46Speaker 12: Uh real, hell now, I ain't taking the cut. Hell now,
- 1:09:55Speaker 12: it's gonna be me and Steve I said it. I'm sorry,
- 1:09:57Speaker 12: hell now, gonna need to take a cut. Get in here,
- 1:10:04Speaker 12: Get out of my pocket, generator, y'all go leave me alone.
- 1:10:08Speaker 14: I got to get a general.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: It was just a question, tell me.
- 1:10:15Speaker 12: Question.
- 1:10:17Speaker 16: He said, hell no, Okay, guy, Well he won't sacrifice
- 1:10:20Speaker 16: we if thank god, we got our own contracts, not
- 1:10:22Speaker 16: not depend on Tommy's contract.
- 1:10:24Speaker 14: And he just told us, hell no.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I said, Junior, thank you. Coming up to the top
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: of the hour.
- 1:10:32Speaker 15: Should a cheating husband be honest or lie and say
- 1:10:35Speaker 15: his mom is losing it lying on your mama?
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Okay, all right, we'll get into that right after this.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: You're listening morning show.
- 1:10:47Speaker 15: All right, guys, this one is from Dreamy. I like
- 1:10:50Speaker 15: that name, Dreamy in Kansas City. Dreamy says, I'm dating
- 1:10:53Speaker 15: a married man and his elderly mother lives with him.
- 1:10:57Speaker 15: I used to be his mother's nurse, and I would
- 1:10:59Speaker 15: go over to the house three days a week. We
- 1:11:01Speaker 15: got careless and as mom walked in on us while
- 1:11:04Speaker 15: we were having sex, I got another assignment because it
- 1:11:07Speaker 15: was too risky for us.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: After that.
- 1:11:09Speaker 15: Recently, his mom said he needs to tell his wife
- 1:11:12Speaker 15: that he's cheating on her, or she will tell the wife.
- 1:11:15Speaker 15: I think she's bluffing, But if she does tell the
- 1:11:17Speaker 15: wife what she saw, he can say she has dementia.
- 1:11:21Speaker 15: He's very mad at me for suggesting that. But what's
- 1:11:23Speaker 15: the alternative? Is there a better solution?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Because I need my job.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: What I got is it his mama or her mom?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Is wife's mother?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Is his MoMA is his mom?
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:11:35Speaker 12: Now he got to sit his mama down and talk
- 1:11:37Speaker 12: to her. But yeah, yeah, how y'all get caught by mama.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she's doing more than her nursing job.
- 1:11:47Speaker 12: But MoMA ain't got no damn dementia. Mama no exactly
- 1:11:49Speaker 12: what she saw, and she forgot it either. Mama ain't
- 1:11:51Speaker 12: got that.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: It ain't nothing wrong with mama, and that's why he
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: got mad at her for suggesting that.
- 1:11:57Speaker 12: M don't put that in the atmosphere. But you might
- 1:12:01Speaker 12: be losing your wife in a minute if your mama
- 1:12:04Speaker 12: say something. Why are your mama gonna ride on you though?
- 1:12:06Speaker 12: That doesn't make sense to me.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: You and your mama staying at Joe house with you
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: now because she.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Walked in on him and it is probably traumatizing for
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: her to see that her son and his nurse.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Mama ain't seen that in a long time. You know
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: what I mean? A house?
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:12:23Speaker 13: House?
- 1:12:24Speaker 15: Why is the nurse in the house. It's the nurse's faulty.
- 1:12:39Speaker 14: Maybe the nurse's fault, but she knows better.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: That's not what she's there for.
- 1:12:45Speaker 16: Mama, you tell my wife what I'm doing in his house.
- 1:12:47Speaker 16: You start packing your bag right now, get the double
- 1:12:49Speaker 16: bag together, because you leave you in your.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Album, keep putting home.
- 1:12:53Speaker 16: Your care stops and your homeless at to this point, mama, okay,
- 1:12:57Speaker 16: because well, hey, she gonna tell.
- 1:13:00Speaker 15: He got mad because the nurse slash girlfriend suggested he
- 1:13:03Speaker 15: tell the wife that the mom had dementia. So you
- 1:13:05Speaker 15: know he's gonna get mad if the nurse slash girlfriend
- 1:13:08Speaker 15: suggests that he put the mom out if she tells much.
- 1:13:13Speaker 14: Yeah, putting my mama exactly right now, Okay, Now me and.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: My mom are gonna have a conversation. But I'm not
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: putting my mama out. But it's been a state between
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: us we and I won't let this happen again at
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: But yeah, but you know you're gonna do it again
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: because the nurse coming back over there, you gofferent nerve.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna get your seat.
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 1:13:37Speaker 14: It's another nurse round two.
- 1:13:39Speaker 19: Yeah, I know what the nurse is doing, washing people washing,
- 1:13:49Speaker 19: all right, we have done for an.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna get the washing around here, gonna get the wash.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: This one's from Jay Shawn and Lexington.
- 1:13:56Speaker 15: Jay Shawan says, my wife is currently is constantly liking
- 1:14:00Speaker 15: other men's pictures on Instagram, and she commented that she
- 1:14:03Speaker 15: likes the suit that one guy was wearing.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I am on Instagram and she barely likes the stuff
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I post.
- 1:14:09Speaker 15: She told me that she's active on social media to
- 1:14:11Speaker 15: get some men to come shop at the store where
- 1:14:13Speaker 15: she works.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I don't believe her. Is she flirting or working?
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: Yes, she flirt, Ye, she flirting And she don't really
- 1:14:19Speaker 12: really don't like folowing you to be honest with you.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: You really I don't like filing you.
- 1:14:24Speaker 12: You just had to be on that scene. She really
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: if she could get you unfollowed, she could do that,
- 1:14:28Speaker 12: she would. You just don't want to hurt your little feelings.
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: She tired of you with your note dressing and she
- 1:14:33Speaker 12: really she don't like what you be wearing none and
- 1:14:37Speaker 12: you are really you don't fit the description of what
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: she like at all. So now she's trying to track
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: somebody to the boutique unless she likes sexy looking man
- 1:14:45Speaker 12: and you are not going of them.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: So I'm just the you be real and understanding. It
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: ain't about you, that's.
- 1:14:52Speaker 13: All that is.
- 1:14:53Speaker 9: That's all it is.
- 1:14:53Speaker 14: That was Tommy.

- 1:21:24Speaker 6: that we do here on the Sea Friday Morning Show,

- 1:21:44Speaker 6: really be aware and not take this attitude that you're
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: not gonna vote for Biden and you're not gonna vote
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: for Trump. Not voting is a vote for Trump.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: That's right, That's exactly right.
- 1:21:56Speaker 6: You need to check your voter registration status we're talking about.

- 1:22:23Speaker 1: You know, you got to get in there and make
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: sure you're straight for this election.
- 1:22:27Speaker 15: That's going to be the deciding factor you as think
- 1:22:30Speaker 15: polls us at the polls.
- 1:22:33Speaker 12: I think also, what you want to be educated on
- 1:22:35Speaker 12: is this whole Project twenty twenty five.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: You know what I mean. You want to definitely here.
- 1:22:39Speaker 12: You want to know exactly what they have in store
- 1:22:43Speaker 12: that that that they're playing and you don't the agenda. Man,
- 1:22:46Speaker 12: if you don't want to look at if you've got
- 1:22:47Speaker 12: to look at this to see exactly where they're trying
- 1:22:49Speaker 12: to take this country too. So you got to be
- 1:22:52Speaker 12: up on this twenty twenty five. If pull it up,
- 1:22:54Speaker 12: google it, do what you gotta do. It's out there.

- 1:22:58Speaker 12: to make it and change over there affects us.
- 1:23:02Speaker 15: That's right, all directly, you're right directly, education, civil rights,
- 1:23:08Speaker 15: abortion rights, it's all in there, and they're talking day
- 1:23:11Speaker 15: one if a Republican is in office. These are the
- 1:23:15Speaker 15: changes that are going to happen to this country day one.
- 1:23:19Speaker 15: They're preparing right now. It's over nine hundred and twenty
- 1:23:23Speaker 15: something pages. It's a whole lot, you know it's but
- 1:23:27Speaker 15: to take your time and and get into it, understand
- 1:23:31Speaker 15: what's going on.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Seriously, you need to be so starm. It's very serious.
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: It's very serious.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: Dismantled government agencies, programs like social Security, these are things
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: for your future. Think about how old you are now
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: and you're listening and you're planning for your future, for retirement.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: We're in the age for retirement future planning. So you
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: guys got to really really focus and really pay attention
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: go to when we all vote dot org right now,
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: when we all vote dot org. That's the fast website
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: I thought of as the top of my head for
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: you to go and check your voter registration status. If
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: you've never voted before and you're about to turn eighteen
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: or you're eighteen, right now, take the time.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: This is important.
- 1:24:13Speaker 14: We have to go to the polls now. We told
- 1:24:15Speaker 14: you guys in.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Twenty sixteen, we told you how important it was to go.
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: We told you how important the next that particular president
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: was going to have Supreme Court justice appointees.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: And now look where we are.
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: We have a Supreme Court where they've done away with
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: women reproductive rights, they've done away they've gotten rid of
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: affirmative action.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: If y'all don't think that people in office.
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: Don't affect you, you are sadly mistaken, because this is
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: where we are, This is the state of this country,
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: and everything is a racial divide.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Everything is political and a racial divide.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: From basketball games WNBA, everything is an issue in this
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: country right now.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Vote on the local level is probably even more important.
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: Level is really yeah, for sure, don't skip any elections
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: that don't skip anything.
- 1:25:08Speaker 15: We can't afford to we can no longer afford to.
- 1:25:11Speaker 15: And in your spare time, you know, when maybe you
- 1:25:13Speaker 15: would be watching TV or playing video games or something.
- 1:25:17Speaker 15: Take a look at Project twenty twenty five. You won't
- 1:25:20Speaker 15: tell your eyes. You will not believe your eyes what's
- 1:25:23Speaker 15: in there.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: You won't, you will not.
- 1:25:26Speaker 15: It is wow, that's what they want to do. That's
- 1:25:29Speaker 15: this is what they think making America great again is
- 1:25:32Speaker 15: all about.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: You'll see, you'll see.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: I like the fact I like the fact that Taraji
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: p Henson when she was hosting the bt or, she
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: was definitely trying to get the word out.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: You know, yeah, yeah she was. She definitely was. Because
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: it's our obligation. We have a platform like this.
- 1:25:48Speaker 15: It is our obligation. And we've never backed down from this,
- 1:25:52Speaker 15: from this role that we play.
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: Uh, you know, and what we do.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: We have to encourage people. We have to get you
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: out four polls to vote.
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: We have to.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: We have to and it's our right, it's our right.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Yeah these times, yeah, it's crucial.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: You're looking at TV this week, you're looking at the
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: Republican National Convention, You're picking up your phone, you're looking
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: at social media. You see all of these blacks for
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: Trump at in Milwaukee for this convention. Of the DNC's
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: convention is in August. It's in Chicago, if I'm not mistaken.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's in Chicago. Yeah, next month.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: So you guys got to be prepared and be informed
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: of what's going on. And I mean, you know, we're
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: sounding we're saying it over and over, and we're going
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: to keep saying it over and over until election day.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: We're not going to back down.
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: We're not going to do it.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, So there's a complication, So please check your status.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Check it today. Check to it only takes a couple.
- 1:26:49Speaker 15: Of minutes and you'll find out, you know, what your
- 1:26:52Speaker 15: voter registration status is, especially.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: If you've just moved.
- 1:26:55Speaker 15: You know, you think you can go to your old
- 1:26:57Speaker 15: place and vote, but if you're someplace, if you're in
- 1:26:59Speaker 15: a new place, check that reregister.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: And go you know where you're supposed to go to vote.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: All right, we don't want to wait last at the polls.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: You don't want any of that stuff. Early vote and
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: do all of them. Yeah, vote, vote, vote, vote, and
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: then vote. We used to say in Chicago, vote vote, early, vote,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: off vote vote.
- 1:27:24Speaker 12: All right, that's it. In the words of my Uncle,
- 1:27:27Speaker 12: talk to God. He would love to hear from you.
