- 0:15Speaker 3: Black bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to me.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy.
- 0:59Speaker 3: You know you love you gotta turn you.
- 1:41Speaker 2: To turn the mouse to turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 2: turn the mouth, turn out the word.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Of the money.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Jo.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Look.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, okay, here's what I want to share
- 2:20Speaker 1: with you. Stop complaining. So I had to legend. You
- 2:29Speaker 1: see how I let that one sit for a second.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Stop complaining? Do you realize without us even thinking about it,
- 2:42Speaker 1: oftentimes we just complain about stuff and it comes up
- 2:50Speaker 1: in such subtle forms. Man, I don't know why they're
- 2:54Speaker 1: still letting that lady work there. Man, if they don't
- 2:56Speaker 1: fire this woman, Man, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 2:58Speaker 1: She drive me crazy. She always got something to say.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I bet today, though, the way I'm feeling right now,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I bet she better not say nothing to me today.
- 3:14Speaker 1: M Yeah, yeah, because day it today. It I'm sick
- 3:19Speaker 1: of her running in her mouth. Last time she said
- 3:23Speaker 1: something to me, I should have said something to it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I'm just giving you a
- 3:28Speaker 1: small example of how it starts to snowball. Once you
- 3:34Speaker 1: start to complain, it just carries over into so many things. Man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your car, Stop complaining about your bus pass,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your kids can't seem to get it together.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have
- 3:59Speaker 1: you noticed that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:03Speaker 1: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:17Speaker 1: He is capable and able of fixing anything, capable and
- 4:24Speaker 1: able of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you
- 4:31Speaker 1: to get to adjusting to things, and capable and able
- 4:39Speaker 1: to strengthen you to get through and change anything. But
- 4:46Speaker 1: the key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 4:51Speaker 1: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 4:55Speaker 1: have not used my greatest asset, and that's my real
- 5:00Speaker 1: relationship with God. You all have one now, you may
- 5:03Speaker 1: not have nurtured it. But you have one because God
- 5:06Speaker 1: created you as his child. He's available to you now.
- 5:10Speaker 1: The fact that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again,
- 5:13Speaker 1: who fought as that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your
- 5:20Speaker 1: relationship with God and formulate this relationship. You don't have
- 5:27Speaker 1: enough weapons. You ain't got a big enough shield to
- 5:32Speaker 1: fight this thing called life. He just keeps coming. Man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: And unless you develop a relationship with God, you need
- 5:39Speaker 1: a partner in all of this. Maybe you got another
- 5:43Speaker 1: route you're gonna take. But every successful person I know
- 5:49Speaker 1: personally has a relationship with God. I have some really
- 5:57Speaker 1: really some people that's kind of up there in the
- 6:01Speaker 1: success term in terms of business and money and statute.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm just talking about that portion of success. And then
- 6:08Speaker 1: I have a lot of people who are very successful
- 6:12Speaker 1: in their spiritual life, who have become great men of
- 6:15Speaker 1: God and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 6:26Speaker 1: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 6:30Speaker 1: know have that even if you saw them never with
- 6:35Speaker 1: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 6:37Speaker 1: or stuff like that, they had so much respect, so
- 6:42Speaker 1: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 6:49Speaker 1: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: like Ahma and Luther King or something like that, or
- 6:56Speaker 1: Gandhi or somebody who lived their life in service, or
- 6:59Speaker 1: Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people put
- 7:03Speaker 1: stuff at their feet because of their service. So all
- 7:06Speaker 1: successful people I know have that, Every last one of
- 7:09Speaker 1: these people that I know, they have relationship with God.
- 7:14Speaker 1: They use the tool that was available to them to
- 7:18Speaker 1: give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the shield to fight this thing called life and have
- 7:25Speaker 1: the most valuable partner right there by the side. They
- 7:28Speaker 1: heavily father God because he will help you get through
- 7:30Speaker 1: this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:37Speaker 1: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man? Why can
- 7:40Speaker 1: I never get over? Well you have not because you
- 7:43Speaker 1: asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 1: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:51Speaker 1: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you? Man?
- 7:56Speaker 1: You going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:03Speaker 1: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:05Speaker 1: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:09Speaker 1: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:16Speaker 1: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:19Speaker 1: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 1: invite men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 8:28Speaker 1: to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it without him,
- 8:34Speaker 1: Trust me, you can. How far you get. I can't
- 8:37Speaker 1: promise you nothing, how well you handle it when you
- 8:40Speaker 1: arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how long you
- 8:44Speaker 1: gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing. How difficult
- 8:48Speaker 1: it is going to be without him. I can't give
- 8:51Speaker 1: you that. It's going to be far more difficult. But
- 8:54Speaker 1: you can. Something can happen, and you, you know, receive
- 8:57Speaker 1: a measure of success, and you think it is you
- 8:59Speaker 1: and this this move you made, and you can describe
- 9:02Speaker 1: it as I got lucky. I happened to be in
- 9:04Speaker 1: the right place at the right time. I got lucky.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Lucky is usually how other people describe other people's success. Boy,
- 9:13Speaker 1: he was lucky. He was right there. Well, let me
- 9:15Speaker 1: tell you what lucky is. Lucky is when hard work
- 9:18Speaker 1: bumps up into opportunity. If you've been working hard as something,
- 9:22Speaker 1: the opportunity presents itself, that comes a match. That's not luck.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:30Speaker 1: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 1: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really
- 9:46Speaker 1: really have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll move
- 9:49Speaker 1: it out for you. That I can tell you for
- 9:52Speaker 1: a fact. I know that for a fact he's moved
- 9:54Speaker 1: mine out. All right, let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 7: You're listening.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Now I have your attention. Please, today's
- 10:04Speaker 1: show is not going to be dedicated. But I just
- 10:09Speaker 1: changed my mind. Today's show Yeah, just like that?
- 10:14Speaker 8: What girl?
- 10:17Speaker 1: What are you doing? Different? Type of it ain't the
- 10:20Speaker 1: same over here every day. Today's show is dedicated to
- 10:24Speaker 1: people who like scary movies. Okay, people who like scary movies.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So this show ain't even dedicated to me. They used
- 10:35Speaker 1: to be Sharon.
- 10:36Speaker 9: Strongtep, Colon Parrell.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Mm hmm, No, that's not how it goes.

- 10:58Speaker 10: four damn years old.

- 19:56Speaker 11: looks like.
- 19:56Speaker 12: I'm gonna beat the hell out of.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I got one more question for your baby. You got
- 20:01Speaker 1: to tell me this.
- 20:02Speaker 6: What is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio

- 20:14Speaker 9: Said it, she didn't like too much.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the goal is to play too much. The
- 20:20Speaker 6: goal is to upset you. The goal is to make
- 20:22Speaker 6: you mad, and that is a successful prank. Okay, the
- 20:27Speaker 6: goal is to be stupid, and I think I've accomplished
- 20:31Speaker 6: all of you so well.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Surely that's a lifestyle like that.
- 20:38Speaker 9: That is exactly why I said that. Steve like coming
- 20:42Speaker 9: up next it is asked the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 20:47Speaker 1: He is the c l O.
- 20:49Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 21:13Speaker 9: I'm not available all the time. How do I break
- 21:16Speaker 9: the news to her?
- 21:17Speaker 1: I'm not available all the time. I met a man
- 21:20Speaker 1: and we spend the nights together sometime, and when we
- 21:22Speaker 1: are out here getting it in, it ain't gonna be
- 21:24Speaker 1: healthy if the kids walk in, because they'll need therapy.
- 21:29Speaker 9: That's what you tell your daughter, Yeah, Dry, that's it.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah, It's gonna put it out there like that. You
- 21:38Speaker 1: know it's gonna take her breath away. When she did, Mama, what, yes,
- 21:43Speaker 1: go she gonna class her pearls. It'll be okay, It'll
- 21:47Speaker 1: be okay. And sometimes you just have to tell the
- 21:50Speaker 1: truth because you've spent your life raising your children, and
- 21:54Speaker 1: your grandchildren should be just jewels on your crown, but
- 21:57Speaker 1: they shouldn't have to be a burden to you too.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And me being a grand father is not a burden
- 22:01Speaker 1: for me at all, because I walked right past the
- 22:02Speaker 1: ad all the time. What Yeah. Little Noah came to
- 22:09Speaker 1: my office the other day, he spending the night. He said, Papaul,

- 22:27Speaker 4: Well.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I eventually did and took him on up there, but
- 22:29Speaker 1: it was we're under protest. I think he kind of
- 22:32Speaker 1: felt it because he got tucky and real damn quick
- 22:38Speaker 1: as I tucked him in there so tight he damned
- 22:40Speaker 1: he couldn't move around. In case you're squad, I didn't
- 22:44Speaker 1: actually tuck him in. He's six, Noah six, Yeah, I
- 22:48Speaker 1: swaddled his ass. That's how. That's how. Yeah, I'll stop
- 22:53Speaker 1: all this moving around. But you want to ask Paul,
- 22:56Speaker 1: party took you in? No damn at all?
- 22:59Speaker 4: All right?

- 25:19Speaker 1: all right.
- 25:19Speaker 9: Moving on to Fern in El Paso, Berne says, my
- 25:23Speaker 9: thirtieth birthday is coming up, and my boyfriend is throwing
- 25:26Speaker 9: me a party at a bowling alley. I invited my
- 25:29Speaker 9: ex boyfriend, who happens to date my boyfriend's ex girlfriend.
- 25:34Speaker 9: It's like we did a switch, but it wasn't planned.
- 25:37Speaker 9: My boyfriend says he can't be in the same room
- 25:39Speaker 9: with her. Doesn't mean he still has feelings for her.
- 25:43Speaker 9: Ooh ooh, y right here.
- 25:46Speaker 1: You know, y'all young, y'all thirty, that you inviting your
- 25:49Speaker 1: ex boyfriend and hitting X dating his ex girlfriends like
- 25:54Speaker 1: we switched. What y'all need? Y'all needed? They can't come
- 25:58Speaker 1: to the damn part?
- 25:59Speaker 9: Yeah out.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I don't even know why you're inviting this mess with

- 26:39Speaker 1: All right?
- 26:40Speaker 9: I invite them? Okay, moving on to Mitch in Monroe.
- 26:44Speaker 9: Mitch in Monroe. I'm in my mid forties, and I
- 26:48Speaker 9: depend on a woman for everything. It's tearing me up
- 26:53Speaker 9: inside that I need her to pitch in on the
- 26:55Speaker 9: bills and the house notes. I'm a street dude by nature,
- 26:59Speaker 9: and I need my pride back and I want my
- 27:01Speaker 9: woman to know I'm in charge. My pastor says, it's
- 27:05Speaker 9: okay for the woman to lead your thought.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Well, now listen to me. It's okay for the woman
- 27:13Speaker 1: to lead if it's okay with you to be led.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Other than that, I'm not in full agreement. Now, now
- 27:21Speaker 1: listen to me. If you are in a marriage and
- 27:23Speaker 1: you all have played y'allself to each other, sometimes the
- 27:27Speaker 1: woman is doing what she does to keep the boat afloat,
- 27:29Speaker 1: but most women do that anyway. But now if it's
- 27:33Speaker 1: not okay with you, the question becons, beacons, beckons, whatever
- 27:37Speaker 1: the word is. Beckon, why are you dependent solely on
- 27:41Speaker 1: this woman. You got to get back out here now.
- 27:43Speaker 1: If you have a police record and it's providing to
- 27:46Speaker 1: stop you from getting jobs, you got to get in
- 27:48Speaker 1: here and get your hustle on in terms of what
- 27:50Speaker 1: can you do in terms of being an entrepreneur that
- 27:52Speaker 1: can make you feel whole again. But you're not gonna
- 27:55Speaker 1: feel hole in this role that you're playing. I don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: care what your pass to say, So you got to
- 28:00Speaker 1: do something to change what makes you feel like you're
- 28:03Speaker 1: making a major contribution in the relationship. And I mind
- 28:06Speaker 1: you for feeling this way.
- 28:07Speaker 9: You all right, Pelo, thank you, you're listening morning show?
- 28:15Speaker 4: All right?

- 31:27Speaker 1: That's called that's man. Do you come to church walking it?
- 31:43Speaker 1: It all went bad. But here's my favorite one of
- 31:46Speaker 1: all drum roll cat ladies and gentlemen. This is the
- 31:53Speaker 1: top thing that your ex can never see happen to you.
- 31:58Speaker 12: Here.

- 34:55Speaker 9: All right, get it together, guys.
- 34:57Speaker 8: You're listening.
- 35:00Speaker 9: Morning show time now for a rounded. Would you rather
- 35:03Speaker 9: would you rather live with ten small dogs or would
- 35:09Speaker 9: you rather live with ten toddlers?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Give me the dogs?

- 36:33Speaker 1: I'm wearing shoes though, right I'm walking on the.
- 36:43Speaker 9: No socks.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Seeing my job, in my job, it'd be hard no
- 36:50Speaker 1: socks because man, I've got to stand. But I guess
- 36:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to go with the no socks. I
- 37:00Speaker 1: gonna have to I'm gonna have to draw off, but
- 37:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to buy that old fashioned ness foot
- 37:04Speaker 1: part of that cake up so I can feel like
- 37:10Speaker 1: I got a sock on in there. But if I
- 37:13Speaker 1: try to do my job in front of all these people,
- 37:15Speaker 1: no draws off. I can tell you right now, it's
- 37:18Speaker 1: gonna be a full blown situation. I'm on the internet
- 37:21Speaker 1: every day. Ready to love is over? Yeah, because it'll
- 37:27Speaker 1: look like you're always ready, look like you are always futing.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I'm talking about man, he'd be cutting on the well, well,
- 37:40Speaker 1: let's cut on family.
- 37:41Speaker 8: Fuse.
- 37:41Speaker 1: See what side he on today?
- 37:45Speaker 14: See what side you.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Cause you know, got them families over there. You never
- 37:53Speaker 1: know what's gonna be that, you know. I know how
- 37:56Speaker 1: to tell my jokes and sty keep working.
- 38:02Speaker 7: All right, coming up? Jeez, thank you.
- 38:05Speaker 1: For guess he didn't like that answer.
- 38:11Speaker 8: You're listening morning show?
- 38:15Speaker 7: Well, does being scared make you want to get busy?
- 38:18Speaker 8: You know, get busy?
- 38:20Speaker 9: You know what that means? A study says yes, if
- 38:23Speaker 9: someone is yelling boo makes you want to hook up
- 38:27Speaker 9: with your boo, You're not alone. Experts say shriek inducing
- 38:31Speaker 9: horror film scenes can make you feel horny. According to
- 38:35Speaker 9: Leah Holmgren, a Manhattan based intimacy and relationship coach, it's
- 38:41Speaker 9: a matter of simple human instinct to want to be
- 38:43Speaker 9: close to another person when you're scared. This phenomenon is
- 38:48Speaker 9: from prehistoric times when we needed to bond, especially in
- 38:52Speaker 9: dangerous situations and increase the chances for survival. So, guys,
- 38:59Speaker 9: Junior Steve, what movie, what horror movie scared you so
- 39:06Speaker 9: much that you wanted to, you know, knock the boots,
- 39:10Speaker 9: get demsy?
- 39:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 39:11Speaker 14: Whatever, Nightmare on Elm Street for me because I had
- 39:14Speaker 14: to stay woke. You go to sleep on your mind,
- 39:20Speaker 14: just keep going boot. Yeah, you watched all of me
- 39:25Speaker 14: one time. I'm sure he watched it from one to ten.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Just to stay up. That would do it for me.
- 39:36Speaker 1: It's kind of weird.
- 39:38Speaker 9: I know it is. I mean, I see if you
- 39:40Speaker 9: go together to a movie and you guys, you know
- 39:43Speaker 9: you're scared, so you're you're cuddled up in the movie
- 39:46Speaker 9: and everything, but after the movie, it's over, right.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Watch it. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you right now. You
- 39:52Speaker 1: don't do that to me? What matter of fact? I don't.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I don't mean I don't. First of all, I don't
- 39:59Speaker 1: go to scared movie, so I don't know what the
- 40:01Speaker 1: hell they do. Last scary movie I went to was
- 40:03Speaker 1: the exorses and that did not induce the exorcis. I
- 40:08Speaker 1: was about sixteen.
- 40:10Speaker 9: Now that's when you and your guys set home.
- 40:13Speaker 1: And I tell you, what do make me want to
- 40:15Speaker 1: get busy? Like if I'm getting cold, if it gets
- 40:17Speaker 1: cold outside, I want to do something. Or if I
- 40:21Speaker 1: got the flu, I want to do something. It's dark outside,
- 40:28Speaker 1: I want to do something.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Every everything other than a scary movie sound.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Soon as I wake up early in the morning, Yes,
- 40:35Speaker 1: good time.
- 40:36Speaker 13: Yeah right, but can we back up to the flu?
- 40:40Speaker 1: Can we back up to that?
- 40:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:41Speaker 1: If I got that energy, I don't need ergery. I
- 40:44Speaker 1: just want to feel better. If I'm doing something, I
- 40:47Speaker 1: forget I got the flu.
- 40:49Speaker 9: Yeah, and then give it to give it to your wife.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Well, probably got it anyway, you know, in laying around
- 40:55Speaker 1: like we'll do something like if like if I got
- 40:57Speaker 1: a fever, I want to do something, then too, and
- 41:00Speaker 1: I promise you then I can always say this is
- 41:03Speaker 1: gonna be hot. You got to be. I ain't got
- 41:08Speaker 1: to laugh, girl, you better come on this to be hot.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And it is just you know, you know, just like that,
- 41:15Speaker 1: you know, so you gotta know, you gotta know what
- 41:17Speaker 1: it is that turn you on, you know, like if
- 41:19Speaker 1: I make a left turn and I should have made
- 41:21Speaker 1: the right turn, I want to do.
- 41:22Speaker 9: So, don't take much. It's scary, yeah, if you want
- 41:32Speaker 9: to all right?
- 41:38Speaker 1: You know, yeah, you know how you.
- 41:42Speaker 9: Give us insight into men's thinking.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, like if you like if I'm standing
- 41:46Speaker 1: there talking to you, and you know how you just
- 41:49Speaker 1: blow sometimes because you from a salad, but you blow
- 41:53Speaker 1: your hair a little bit up and now yeah, you
- 41:55Speaker 1: better get that. That'll get you done too. Yeah.
- 42:02Speaker 14: Yeah, they don't really take much of what you're saying.
- 42:05Speaker 7: That's exactly right.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Like if you're outside and you playing sports or something
- 42:10Speaker 1: like volleyball and a mosquito bite you on your ass
- 42:13Speaker 1: and you slap the mosquito. That's that'll probably Yeah, more
- 42:18Speaker 1: wanting to do. I know you, I know you were
- 42:23Speaker 1: smacking that for me. I know that more mosquito. I'm
- 42:27Speaker 1: just telling you how me and are I don't take much. Don't.
- 42:31Speaker 1: If I have a signals that crisis and y'all call.
- 42:33Speaker 14: Me, I'll probably go want through something.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's sick. Somebody need to care about me.
- 42:43Speaker 7: All right, thank you guys.
- 42:45Speaker 9: Coming up, more music, more fun, ignorant.

- 43:00Speaker 9: Morning show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:03Speaker 9: right about four minutes after. It's today's Strawberry Letter. The

- 43:11Speaker 9: We'll find out what that's all about in just a
- 43:14Speaker 9: little bit. But right now, the nephew is here with
- 43:17Speaker 9: today's prank phone call.
- 43:18Speaker 8: What you got for us?
- 43:19Speaker 6: Nest, Well, let me ask y'all something you before we
- 43:21Speaker 6: dropped this. You know, there's always a recall on certain things.
- 43:25Speaker 6: We've heard about cars being recalled. We've heard about appliances
- 43:30Speaker 6: being called yeah, toys being unsafe, even food being a recall.
- 43:37Speaker 6: And but today it's it's a little something different, folks.
- 43:42Speaker 6: This right here is condom recall. Oh anybody with me?
- 43:47Speaker 4: Know? Moha?
- 43:48Speaker 6: I mean y'all with me with the calls and the
- 43:50Speaker 6: toys and the classes. Y'all was right there with me.
- 43:53Speaker 6: But as soon as I give y'all the title, now
- 43:57Speaker 6: no one is with me. But see, this is why
- 43:59Speaker 6: pranking ain't for everybody, right because nobody want to roll,
- 44:03Speaker 6: which if you would were going on in there with
- 44:06Speaker 6: a condom recall.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Hello, I'm trying to reach a I believe it's Mark Davison.
- 44:13Speaker 12: Oh, yes, yes, he's not here right now.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Well, this is uh, this is Barry. I work here.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I'm the manager here at once. Is he going to
- 44:23Speaker 4: be Is he gonna be home? Come soon where he
- 44:25Speaker 4: can maybe give me a call? I can chat with him.
- 44:28Speaker 12: Yeah, sure, I mean he can exactly like an hour.
- 44:30Speaker 12: So what's going on?
- 44:31Speaker 4: Uh, Well, we got a transaction here that he made
- 44:35Speaker 4: on Friday of last week, and basically what's going on
- 44:40Speaker 4: is we've had a bad batch of condoms and there's
- 44:44Speaker 4: actually a kindom recall. This was a credit card transaction,
- 44:49Speaker 4: So we're trying our best to reach out and get
- 44:51Speaker 4: as many people as we can and let them know
- 44:52Speaker 4: that those those condoms are defected. So there's a recall
- 44:57Speaker 4: on the Magnum condoms that we've had here here. What
- 45:01Speaker 4: we're trying to do is call everybody that has purchased
- 45:03Speaker 4: somewhere than the last week. And you know, he purchased
- 45:07Speaker 4: him on Friday, So what we want to do is
- 45:09Speaker 4: reach out to him and let him know what to
- 45:10Speaker 4: bring those Wait wait.
- 45:12Speaker 12: Wait, I'm sorry, So you're saying that Marcus purchased his
- 45:16Speaker 12: condoms on Friday?
- 45:18Speaker 4: Uh, the date I have here on this transaction, man
- 45:21Speaker 4: says Friday, he'll last week.
- 45:23Speaker 12: Yes, ma'am, we don't even use them. Well for the facts,
- 45:26Speaker 12: you to call me talking about that? My husband is

- 45:38Speaker 5: Have to get the.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Hang on, hang on a second. Would you rather give
- 45:42Speaker 4: me his selle and I give him a call and
- 45:44Speaker 4: let him know what's going on? Could you just give
- 45:47Speaker 4: me his number?
- 45:47Speaker 12: Oh no, no, no, no, no, I'm calling him myself right now.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Hold on, that's up.

- 53:19Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 53:22Speaker 9: Subject she gives a great performance. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've
- 53:27Speaker 9: been dating a very attractive woman with the perfect body
- 53:30Speaker 9: and beautiful brown skin. I met her at a gym
- 53:33Speaker 9: and she asked me out, which I loved because she
- 53:37Speaker 9: is not afraid to go after something if she wants it.
- 53:41Speaker 9: We have been dating for a little over a month,
- 53:43Speaker 9: and we finally had sex over the Labor Day holiday.
- 53:47Speaker 9: I wasn't expecting the performance I got. She's very athletic
- 53:51Speaker 9: and it was hard to keep up with her in
- 53:53Speaker 9: the bedroom. I was given all kinds of instructions and
- 53:57Speaker 9: she was very dominant. I try to get into it,
- 54:00Speaker 9: and each time I got so distracted by her demands
- 54:04Speaker 9: I couldn't perform. I was intimidated. Finally, after it was over,
- 54:10Speaker 9: we went onto my patio and had a glass of wine.
- 54:13Speaker 9: She started analyzing the encounter and saying what could have
- 54:17Speaker 9: been better and what we needed to work on. I
- 54:20Speaker 9: felt like I was back in college playing football and
- 54:24Speaker 9: going over the game footage and critiquing it. I found
- 54:27Speaker 9: myself apologizing to her and telling her I do better
- 54:31Speaker 9: next time. A few days later, we had a few
- 54:34Speaker 9: drinks and she started to get me in the mood.
- 54:37Speaker 9: She said she'd do all of the work since I
- 54:39Speaker 9: was tipsy, I thought she was too, but she wasn't.
- 54:43Speaker 9: I got scared. I'm a forty two year old grown man,
- 54:47Speaker 9: and I've never been afraid of any woman in the bedroom,
- 54:50Speaker 9: but I doubted myself with her. I remember just lying there,
- 54:54Speaker 9: and it's like my spirit left my body from the
- 54:57Speaker 9: things she was doing to me. It was so unbelievable
- 55:01Speaker 9: that I'm tempted to break up with her, but I'm
- 55:04Speaker 9: also intrigued. I plan to be on my quote unquote
- 55:09Speaker 9: a game next time, but I have no idea what
- 55:12Speaker 9: she'll do. She's ten years younger than I am, so
- 55:15Speaker 9: I can't continue to be afraid of her. Would I
- 55:18Speaker 9: be a woos if I asked her to take it easy?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Help me? Whoa she got you?
- 55:25Speaker 4: Huh?
- 55:27Speaker 1: WHOA?
- 55:28Speaker 9: Ten years younger? Thirty two?
- 55:31Speaker 1: Well?
- 55:32Speaker 9: I mean, this might be the first letter of this kind, Steve,
- 55:36Speaker 9: that we've ever gotten from a man that says he's
- 55:38Speaker 9: afraid or intimidated by a woman's sexual prowess. I think
- 55:45Speaker 9: you should just admit it, sir. You've met your match
- 55:50Speaker 9: and beyond in this younger woman, and you can't take it.
- 55:54Speaker 9: I mean, there is a lot going on here though.
- 55:57Speaker 9: But it's like you said, you love a woman who's
- 55:59Speaker 9: not afraid to go after what she want. Well, she
- 56:02Speaker 9: did that, and she's still way too much for you.
- 56:05Speaker 9: She's actually more of a drill sergeant, it sounds like
- 56:07Speaker 9: from your letter and your description, than a sexual partner
- 56:11Speaker 9: right now, and your mind is blown, and so you
- 56:14Speaker 9: can't give her up. I think you should take your
- 56:16Speaker 9: big ego out of it so you can ask her
- 56:19Speaker 9: to take you a little slower.
- 56:21Speaker 7: It's okay to do that, you know, even if if
- 56:23Speaker 7: she's younger and more skilled. It's okay. It's all right.
- 56:28Speaker 9: You say you're intrigued, So why don't you just listen
- 56:30Speaker 9: to her suggestions, you know, when you all afterwards and
- 56:34Speaker 9: she tells you what she needs, listen to her, really
- 56:37Speaker 9: listen to her and allow yourself to you know, just
- 56:40Speaker 9: have great mind blowing sex from here on out.
- 56:43Speaker 7: You shouldn't be scared. Don't be scared.
- 56:45Speaker 9: Just get on into it. You'll be all right. You'll
- 56:47Speaker 9: be all right, Steve.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well that ain't hot as go all this here.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Let me straighten you out. Don't what letter you was reading?
- 56:57Speaker 1: That ain't the situation? And then just take judge mind
- 57:01Speaker 1: blowing sick, mind blowing sick. We got some issues in
- 57:05Speaker 1: deal right here. See, Shirley, you couldn't view this letter
- 57:10Speaker 1: because you not a man wrote this letter. You can't
- 57:15Speaker 1: know what he going through. Let me walk you through
- 57:19Speaker 1: what happened, Dear Steven, Shirley. I've been dating a very
- 57:24Speaker 1: attractive woman with the perfect body and beautiful brown skin.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Met her at the gym. She asked me out, which
- 57:32Speaker 1: I love because she's not afraid to go after something
- 57:35Speaker 1: she won't. We've been dating for a little over a
- 57:38Speaker 1: month now. We finally had sex over Labor Day holiday.
- 57:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't expected to perform as I got. She's very athletic.
- 57:48Speaker 1: It was hard to keep up with her in the bedroom.
- 57:51Speaker 1: I was giving all kinds of instructions and she was
- 57:54Speaker 1: very dominant. Now hold on, bro let me take you
- 57:59Speaker 1: back up here. Now you just said I loved it
- 58:04Speaker 1: because she is not afraid to go after something she wants.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Now you down in the letter talking about she was
- 58:13Speaker 1: very dominant. I was given all kinds of instructions. I
- 58:17Speaker 1: tried to get into it each time, but I got
- 58:19Speaker 1: so distracted by her demands I couldn't perform all on
- 58:26Speaker 1: punk out now wow, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, see it's
- 58:32Speaker 1: own now. See now you all up in there. She
- 58:35Speaker 1: little fine thing up at the gym, ten years younger
- 58:37Speaker 1: than you and all this. Hell yeah, Now, after it
- 58:42Speaker 1: was over and you got distracted by the demands, y'all
- 58:45Speaker 1: went out on the patio or had some wine, and
- 58:48Speaker 1: she started analyzing it and counter saying that we could
- 58:51Speaker 1: have done it better, what we needed to work on it,
- 58:54Speaker 1: and all I felt like I was back in college. Oh,
- 58:59Speaker 1: I could see the visual now, so you just you
- 59:01Speaker 1: just had to put your backpack on and get your
- 59:04Speaker 1: composition notebook out. You was in school. Patrick was up
- 59:09Speaker 1: in there, and wow, you out, Well, I know how
- 59:12Speaker 1: to fix all this for you.
- 59:13Speaker 12: Boy.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Yeah, now you're trying to talk about you felt like
- 59:17Speaker 1: you was back playing football, going over the game footage
- 59:20Speaker 1: and critiquing it. Now, he put that in there to
- 59:23Speaker 1: let us know that he was a former athlete in
- 59:26Speaker 1: college and he played football, so he didn't want us
- 59:30Speaker 1: to think he was just a punk. That's what he
- 59:33Speaker 1: put that in there. Fault. But he getting punk though, And.
- 59:36Speaker 7: We'll have part two of your response coming up.
- 59:39Speaker 9: At twenty three minutes after the hour subject, she gives
- 59:42Speaker 9: a great performance. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:46Speaker 9: You're listening morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 59:51Speaker 9: recap today's strawberry letters. She gives a great performance.
- 59:55Speaker 1: She gives a great performance, and what the letter should is.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: She outperformed me and I don't know what to do.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: That's what the damn subject ought to be. She gives
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: a great performance, but your ass didn't. That's for damn show.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Are you mad? Yeah? No, I got something for him.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So now she all up in there. He loved the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: girl because she came up to it, asked him out,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: because he like a woman to go for what she want.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Then when they got had sex, found out she was
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: passing out all kind of instructions and she was very dominant.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You just said, you like a woman that go at
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: to what she want. Now she in here, she all
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: that's everywhere. So now she all up in your bedroom
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: with this here. I tried to get into it, but
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: every time I was so distracted by her demands. I
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: couldn't perform. I was intimidated. After it was over, we
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: went out on the patio on him some wine, and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: she started telling me, analyzing and kind of saying, what
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: could have been better, and we needed to work on
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: and I felt like I was back in college, Like
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I had my backpack on it, my little black and
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: white compas, this note booking. She was just giving me
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: lessons and everything. I wasn't knowing what to do, but
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I knew know what I was doing, because you know,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I felt like I was back in college, playing football
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: and going over the game footage and critiquing it. Boy, boy,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: don't try to don't try to blow yourself up now
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: till hard. Yeah, now you're trying to act like you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: something now. And it wasn't the way all that football,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: playing that back in that bedroom though, all that game
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: footage where you know how to do all that, but
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you'd have ran up in the thundercat that she didn't.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: She didn't, wearing your ass out, and then you done
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: climb up in the sane. You just in bed with
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a little mountain lion, just bombcat, just wearing your ass out,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: scratching you and passing out instructions. You don't know what
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to do, and these are instructions that's getting on your nerves.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: You know, faster, faster, hold up now, any faster, it's
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: gonna be over, you know, you gotta slow down with
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: some of these damn instruction. Now you know harder. I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: don't threw my damn back out now, ain't no hard
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I ain't got threw my whole damn back out in
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: here now more. Ain't no more. Damn it this see
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: all these instructions. What she was doing was giving you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: instruction for you. Ain't got faster, harder, and more. That's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: all the instructions you can get. I been here, boy,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that's what we fin to get into. I been here,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: so let me help you out. A few days later,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: we had some drinks and she started getting me in
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the mood. She said she do all the work. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: thought it was. I thought I thought she was too,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: but she wasn't ded here. When he finally admitted it,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I got scared. I'm a forty two year old grown man,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: and I've never been afraid of any woman in the bedroom,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: but I doubted myself with her. I remember just lying
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: there like my spirit left my body. She was stuff
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: she was doing to me. It was so damn i'mbelieving.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I'm tempted to break up with her, but I'm intrigued.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I planning to be on my A game next time. Boy,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: you ain't got no day a game. You ain't got
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: no a game if you ain't she got your a
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: game out in these two three times. But next time
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I have no idea what she'll do. See here that
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: fear come back in. And she's ten years younger than me.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: That ain't no excuse. So I can't continue to be
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: afraid of her. Would I be a woos if I
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: asked her to take it on me? Boy? Let me
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: tell you something. You a wors if you don't follow
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: them damn instructions. Next y, you a wors because you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: can't keep up. You a wors because you scared. You
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: a worst cause she dominating you a worsh cause she
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: done had a bunch of demands. You can't meet see
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you you're not And then and then you sitting up
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: in here, and then and then what the little party
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that we're talking about? She was talking to me so
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: crazy that now I remember lying there. It was so
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: unbleeved toim. The ain't got next time that your tenure?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Where is the part where he said he was apologizing.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Oh that go up, go up? I found myself apologizing
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: to her and telling.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Her, she said, analyzing their counter saying to get domn better.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I felt like I been playing football going there. I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: found myself apologizing her until I do better next time.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: He was a wish when you started apologizing. You was
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: a wish when you said you do better. But see, boy,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: with all that said, you done been off molding. You
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: can chew, that's all it is too. But now here
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: come the big brother advice Uncle Steve, or I been
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: that though. Oh, I've been right where you at. Oh,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and it's frightening. What do they be doing?
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: They do everything. I've been there before. I don't. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: donet been laying over in the corner sucking my thumb before.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: It was just too damn much. I didn't. I didn't
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: have a woman walking to the bed and I'm sitting up,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: pulling the covers up under my chin and shaking while
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: she comes toward the bed. I got the covers up
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: under my chin because if she come again, I done
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: been there.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Boy.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: So what you have to do? Here's the way you
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: do this. Here. You got to wear her down with
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: faul play. Okay, listen to me. You gotta take some
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: of that energy, all that fitness. You got to get
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it woe down in folk play. You got to you
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: got to tell them, like, climb up on that shelf
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: in the closet so I can see it. Better see it,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: take effort, army, crawl round the bed three times towards me,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: then climb up in the bed. You got to zap
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: some of her energy. Hey baby, Hey babe before we
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: do this tonight. You know, I like doing the downstairs
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: on that couch. Go downstairs and bring that couch up here.

- 1:06:07Speaker 1: All right? Steve J.
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: Anthony Brown, who you've asked to be ignorant today, is
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: here with phrases that will break up a friendship.
- 1:06:15Speaker 10: Basically, these are roommate rules, and when you got on
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: your own, you might have to get a roommate to
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: branch out. But there's some rules you should live by
- 1:06:24Speaker 10: if you get a roommate. First rule, if you don't
- 1:06:28Speaker 10: put it in the fridge, damn it, don't.
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: Take it out the fridge. How about that?
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: At work.
- 1:06:39Speaker 10: The same thing, same thing. You and your significant other
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: should not hag the living room. Take that nashy stuff
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: to your bedroom. Okay, all right, people live here. Other
- 1:06:50Speaker 10: people live here too, all right. Don't go in your
- 1:06:54Speaker 10: roommate's room for a damn thing.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Okay, that makes this Why are you here? What you're
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: doing in here?
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Ain't nothing here for you.
- 1:07:03Speaker 10: If your girlfriend or your boyfriend like eggs, bacon, cheese,
- 1:07:07Speaker 10: alcohol or whatever cereal, make sure they bring it with
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: their ass when they come over.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Okay. If that's what they like, ain't none wrong. Make
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: sure make sure they got that in a bag when
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: they come in the door. Okay, that's all I'm saying.
- 1:07:27Speaker 10: If your boyfriend for the lady, if your boyfriend man
- 1:07:29Speaker 10: man likes to play video games, you need a big
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: screen TV for his ass in your room.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Okay, I like that. This is this is a good
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: rule right here. We all should abided by this.
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: Nobody who is a roommate is allowed to date anybody
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: that's been to prison.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Nobody should. Now, every time you over, you gotta make
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: sure you hold in your room.

- 1:16:38Speaker 9: Laid out?
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Get out the flow, lay down there, don't climb on that.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: No more exhausted, first off, jog I'm done. And you'll

- 1:16:53Speaker 9: All right, all right, let's go. Would you rather wear
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: no socks for six months or no underwear for six months?
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I'm wearing shoes though. Right I'm walking seeing my job,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: in my job, it'd be hard no socks because man,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: I've got to stand much. But I guess I'm gonna
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: have to go with the no socks. I'm gonna have
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: to I'm gonna have draw but I'm gonna have to
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: buy that old fashioned ass foot pot of that cake
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: up yellow yellow, So I feel like I got a
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: sock on in there. But if I try to do
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: my job in front of all these people with no
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: draws on, I can tell you right now, it's gonna
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: be a full blown situation. I'm on the internet every day.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Ready to love is over? Yeah, because it'll look like
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you all ready.
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: It looks like you are always scuting.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I'm talking about man, he'd been cutting on well, well,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: let's cut on family fuse. See what side he owned today?
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: See what side?
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: No, you didn't, Steve, cause you.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Don't got them families over there. You never know what's
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: gonna be. That's you. I know how to tell my
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: jokes and steak keep working.
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, coming up, jeez, thank you.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Yes he didn't like that answer. Coming up, laughing.
- 1:18:46Speaker 9: Forty nine minutes, we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:18:48Speaker 9: one and only Steve Harvey right after.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: The hurry up, about to turn the coma.
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:56Speaker 9: All right, guys, here we are our last breakup, the
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: day you ready to take us out?
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Yeah, just thinking of a couple of things. I've been
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: watching a lot of people who you know, on the
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: news and stuff like this, who seem that that are
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: in such despair, you know, and I've listened. I was
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: watching somebody online the other day talking about how hopeless
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: their life seemed to them. I want to offer people
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: something to think about. Be very very conscious of the
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: word hopeless, you know, be very very conscious of feeling hopeless,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: because it can happen if you're not careful. And I've
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: had to end my life on several times. Become very
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: acutely aware of this trick that the devil uses. And
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: if the devil can get you to feel like it's hopeless,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: oh man, he's got you. He's got you right where
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: he wants you. I remember several times, man, when I
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: was homeless, Man, when I just didn't see this career
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: going the way I wanted it to go. I was
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: just in some dark places. Man. You know, look, man,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: when you don't have a house to go to at
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's it's it's a it's
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: a it's a it's a debilitating thought repeatedly to go wow,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: to not be able to say I'm going home, because
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you know, I mean, no matter how rough a day
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you have, if you have the comfort to say, man,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: well skip all this, I'm going home, and you can
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: turn that key and get into this place that you
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: stay as, no matter what it looks like or how
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: small or how big, it's your home. If you can
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: turn that key and go in there and shut that
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: door and lock out them troubles for a minute, it
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: gives you a moment to regroup yourself. So not having
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: the comfort of saying I'm going home was rough on
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: me at times, and it was times where the devil
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: would get into my mind and say, Man, it ain't
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: no way out of this. You just homeless. You not
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: getting these gigs. Ain't nobody calling you all this? You
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: want to be on TV, you want to be a star, Steve,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: this is hopeless. I had to catch myself because hope
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: is a very important thing to cling on to, because
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: sometimes you only have hope to cling on to, and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you've got to keep hope alive. I remember when Jesse
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Jackson used to say it, keep hope alive, keep hope alive.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: People don't know how really important that is. To keep
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: hope alive, not faith, not belief, not being factual that
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I know this is gonna happen. But if you can
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: just say the mere words, man, I hope I be okay, Man,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I hope this workout. I hope God hear me. I
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: hope I get a break. I hope this don't last
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: too much longer. Just say hope. Just say it. I'm
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: telling you, man, clinging on to that word hope. Hope
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: is the beginning of faith, because, like I say all
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: the time, sometimes I used to hope I got a
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: bike for Christmas. I used to hope I would get
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: a toy. I used to hope you know that I graduated.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I hope I get a job one day. Well, eventually,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: as I got older, all that hope and I used
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: to do, eventually I learned how wow, this is really faith.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Faith is a belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: But it begins with hope, because when you're young, it's
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: just hope. I hope Santa Claus bring me this. I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: hope I get a bike. Man, I hope I get
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: that doll house. I hope I get that oven this year.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I hope. I hope he asked me out. I hope
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: she say yes. I hope she will be my Valentine.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: I used to hope for so many things, man, But
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: as I got older, understood that hope was just the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: pure essence. There's a scripture, man, I wish I could
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: think of it right now. Faith is the substance of
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: things hope for it. That's it, and the evidence of
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: things not seen. Faith is the substance of things hope for.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: That's why you got to keep saying our hope even
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: if you ain't strong enough to believe.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Hope.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: It's the substance of faith, because faith is the substance
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: of things hope for. You can't have faith with our
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: first hoping, I hope this happened.
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Faith is a belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: So what are you hoping it to? What are you
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: thinks that you cannot see something you hope for? You
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: got to keep hope alive, y'all. When you feel like
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: you ain't gonna make it, just keep saying our hope. Lord,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: I hope God, I hope Lord, Please, I hope. And
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you he'll come to you. He'll come to you.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: And faith is the substance of things hope for hope
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: turns into faith if you just keep saying it. Keep
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: hope alive, y'all. Always just keep saying you hope. That's
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: the beginning of things happening and changing in your life.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. And they'll hope that did
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: something for somebody. Hey, listen, y'all, talk to God. He'd
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: love to hear from you today. See them all for all.
