- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out you think that. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 8: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 8: radio show. Uh huh, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Man, boy boy boy boy man. God has been
- 2:19Speaker 2: good to me. I can't even.
- 2:24Speaker 8: I can't even put it into words, man, But I try, though,
- 2:27Speaker 8: I try, I try, I try.
- 2:29Speaker 2: God does things for me just right on time. He's
- 2:32Speaker 2: so cool with it.
- 2:34Speaker 8: And I happened to run across Joel Oldstein on television
- 2:40Speaker 8: like I often do all the time, and I was
- 2:44Speaker 8: sitting there and he had such a timely message for me.
- 2:49Speaker 8: A part of it was something that I've said oftentimes
- 2:53Speaker 8: about if you really really want to be successful, if
- 2:58Speaker 8: you really really want to change, if you really really
- 3:02Speaker 8: want to prosper, if you really really want to achieve greatness.
- 3:06Speaker 2: If you really really want to have something.
- 3:08Speaker 8: In life that's worth having, if you really really want
- 3:11Speaker 8: to accomplish your goals, you got to push through all
- 3:15Speaker 8: of it. He said that when you get closer to it,
- 3:21Speaker 8: the more difficult it becomes. Did you hear me. He said,
- 3:26Speaker 8: the closer you get to what it is you want
- 3:29Speaker 8: or you need, or you have to have or you
- 3:33Speaker 8: would love to be, it gets a little bit more
- 3:37Speaker 8: difficult when you get closer. He told this story that's
- 3:43Speaker 8: in the Bible that I'd never heard before.
- 3:46Speaker 2: This is what he said.
- 3:48Speaker 8: He said, there was a man who was paralyzed, and
- 3:54Speaker 8: he had heard that Jesus was speaking at a house,
- 4:00Speaker 8: and so he wanted to get there. So he convinced
- 4:03Speaker 8: four of his friends to put him on a stretcher
- 4:08Speaker 8: and carry him for hours to get to this house where.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Jesus was speaking. He said that along the way, these
- 4:21Speaker 2: friends said that.
- 4:24Speaker 8: They went along because he had so much faith that
- 4:27Speaker 8: if he could just get to him, it could be
- 4:30Speaker 8: better that he could if he could just get over
- 4:33Speaker 8: there and he could see him, that he might have
- 4:36Speaker 8: a shot at getting here. And so he said, they
- 4:39Speaker 8: took out along the way and they walked and they
- 4:41Speaker 8: walked and they walked for hours. And then when they
- 4:45Speaker 8: got there, the house was completely filled with people. That
- 4:50Speaker 8: was absolutely it was packed wall to wall. There was
- 4:53Speaker 8: absolutely no way for the men to get him on
- 4:57Speaker 8: that stretcher end to see Jesus. This is a story
- 5:00Speaker 8: that uh Joe Lostein said is in the Bible, and
- 5:03Speaker 8: he was telling it now, I'm just repeating the parts
- 5:06Speaker 8: of it. I got gathered and so he said. They
- 5:10Speaker 8: sat there and they went, wow, man, we walked all
- 5:13Speaker 8: this weight and it's full, and and and and and
- 5:16Speaker 8: and and we can't get there, he said.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And then the guy with the affliction told the four.
- 5:24Speaker 8: Men, if you get up on the roof and cut
- 5:28Speaker 8: a hole in it and lower me down, I bet
- 5:33Speaker 8: I could see him then, and I bet it to
- 5:35Speaker 8: be all right now. He then said, you must imagined
- 5:41Speaker 8: how these four men must have felt when you carry
- 5:44Speaker 8: somebody for hours on on on on on on on
- 5:48Speaker 8: the way. They had to carry some cloth connected by
- 5:51Speaker 8: a couple of sticks, said the men, and shoulders had
- 5:54Speaker 8: to be bruised, had to have deep gouges, and them
- 5:57Speaker 8: not cuts, but just indentations where they had carried the
- 6:01Speaker 8: weight of this grown man for so many hours, and
- 6:03Speaker 8: they looked at him in disbelief, like, man, what are
- 6:06Speaker 8: you talking about.
- 6:07Speaker 2: We done walked all this far.
- 6:08Speaker 8: He said, yeah, but if you get up on that
- 6:10Speaker 8: roof and you cut a hole in it and lower
- 6:13Speaker 8: me down, I can see him and when he see me,
- 6:18Speaker 8: it'll be all right. After sitting there and imploring the men,
- 6:23Speaker 8: they went up and did just that, And then the
- 6:27Speaker 8: story that Joe Los Dean said, the man was healed.
- 6:31Speaker 8: But the point he was making was he was saying
- 6:35Speaker 8: that the closer you get to what it is you
- 6:38Speaker 8: really want, the more difficult it's going to become. But
- 6:42Speaker 8: you've got to push through. See, if you don't push through,
- 6:45Speaker 8: you never know. See, you can't get right to the answer.
- 6:49Speaker 8: And because it gets really difficult, started creating those little
- 6:53Speaker 8: saying that we got as people. Well, I guess it
- 6:56Speaker 8: wasn't meant to be. I guess it wasn't Lord's will. Now, man,
- 7:01Speaker 8: I guess you should not give up right now. I
- 7:05Speaker 8: guess you should keep pressing. I guess you should do
- 7:08Speaker 8: more because see, in all of us, in all of us,
- 7:11Speaker 8: when you've had enough, I want you to know something.
- 7:14Speaker 8: You do have a little bit more in all of us.
- 7:18Speaker 8: You can do one more.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:21Speaker 8: That's one of my favorite things that I heard Joel
- 7:23Speaker 8: Oldstein said, and it kind of made me feel good.
- 7:25Speaker 8: He said, I always feel like I can do one
- 7:29Speaker 8: more anything, and I tell my friends all the time,
- 7:33Speaker 8: I can do one more man, I could do one
- 7:36Speaker 8: more day. I can do one more anything. Now Here
- 7:41Speaker 8: was the jewel that I never really knew that Joel
- 7:46Speaker 8: Oldstein and God sent to me I needed to hear.
- 7:52Speaker 8: He said that no matter what you're going through, no
- 7:56Speaker 8: matter how long the challenge is you've been facing, God
- 8:00Speaker 8: has an end date for it all.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 8:04Speaker 8: No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
- 8:07Speaker 8: you're facing, no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into,
- 8:11Speaker 8: God has an ending date. All you got to do
- 8:16Speaker 8: is keep pressing forward. All you got to do is
- 8:19Speaker 8: hang in there. All you got to do is don't
- 8:22Speaker 8: give up. All you have to do is don't turn back.
- 8:26Speaker 8: There is an end date for all of it, even
- 8:31Speaker 8: when you think you've had enough. And boy, have I
- 8:36Speaker 8: had this conversation with God on several things that I've
- 8:41Speaker 8: been going through, and I've even told him, Look, I
- 8:44Speaker 8: got it, man, he said, just keep hanging on. There
- 8:50Speaker 8: is an end date to whatever it is you're going through.
- 8:53Speaker 8: There's an end date to your illness, your sickness, your
- 8:58Speaker 8: tired of being tired. There's an an in date to
- 9:01Speaker 8: this relationship that you can't seem to get through, beyond
- 9:09Speaker 8: over that's like a cancer to you. There's an end date.
- 9:14Speaker 8: But you've got to hang in there. You've got to
- 9:18Speaker 8: keep pushing forward. You cannot turn around. You must not
- 9:23Speaker 8: go back, because when God gets you through this and
- 9:28Speaker 8: you break through to the other side, the reward and
- 9:31Speaker 8: the benefit is far greater than the struggle. I oftentimes
- 9:39Speaker 8: look at some of the things that God has brought
- 9:41Speaker 8: me through in my worst times, and when He brought
- 9:44Speaker 8: me through, I went, wow, Man, now that I understand that,
- 9:48Speaker 8: Now that I'm on the other side and I have
- 9:50Speaker 8: the benefit of the reward for it, would you do
- 9:53Speaker 8: it all again to get that?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yes? I would.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the see Harvey morning.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Shell ladies and gentlemen. You know what, I'll tell you what.
- 10:03Speaker 2: God has done it again.
- 10:06Speaker 8: And now now this is important because the thing he's
- 10:10Speaker 8: done again, he is the only one that can do it.
- 10:14Speaker 2: The moment he don't do.
- 10:16Speaker 8: What he did today like he did yesterday and every
- 10:19Speaker 8: other day before that were in trouble.
- 10:22Speaker 2: He's the only one.
- 10:24Speaker 8: He is supreme, He's ultimate, He's everything, man, And don't
- 10:28Speaker 8: let nobody fool you. Don't sit up in your moment
- 10:32Speaker 8: of despair and catch somebody online giving you some other
- 10:36Speaker 8: contrary theory.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Because some things is going wrong in your life.
- 10:40Speaker 8: God is on the throne, man, God in charge of
- 10:43Speaker 8: this thing, and you can get immediate help by turning
- 10:46Speaker 8: to it. Immediate, like the old people say, God is
- 10:50Speaker 8: just one prayer way. That's all it is. Get your
- 10:53Speaker 8: mind right, talk to it. He got something for you, man,
- 10:57Speaker 8: he'd be coming through. So Steve Harvey. Also Steve Harvey,
- 11:03Speaker 8: He's never late, as tired as you are of waiting.

- 11:43Speaker 8: you know, I was back at work on family feud,
- 11:46Speaker 8: and I was talking with a young man and he said,
- 11:52Speaker 8: he works for me, and he said he was looking
- 11:56Speaker 8: at this. He did something on his story on i G.
- 11:59Speaker 8: You know, I don't know, I don't know how to
- 12:00Speaker 8: do that. But he had a story on IG and
- 12:05Speaker 8: he was just looking at it over and over and over.
- 12:08Speaker 8: And some people in the office said, hey, man, what
- 12:10Speaker 8: you're looking at? He said, my story. I was just
- 12:14Speaker 8: looking at my skin. And so they kind of chimed
- 12:18Speaker 8: up in the office and family Feuter said, so, what's wrong?
- 12:21Speaker 8: And he said, wow, man, this is the most beautiful
- 12:24Speaker 8: I've ever been. And I stopped and I said, what
- 12:31Speaker 8: did you say? He said, this is the most beautiful
- 12:35Speaker 8: I've ever been.
- 12:36Speaker 2: You thought me? You told him me? I know, you.
- 12:40Speaker 8: Know, tell me in a way I did because I said, damn,
- 12:44Speaker 8: it's delusion on people everywhere.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And this. But you know what, man, I've never said
- 12:52Speaker 2: that in my life. And it just throws me when
- 12:54Speaker 2: a man.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Says that, What do you see when you look at yourself?
- 12:59Speaker 8: You I just see me, I see, and I see
- 13:02Speaker 8: hard work. I see, I just see me. I don't
- 13:05Speaker 8: really look at I don't. I don't, man, I promise you,
- 13:08Speaker 8: I don't. I'm be looking man.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You kill when you dress all fly. What you do
- 13:13Speaker 2: quite often what you see.
- 13:15Speaker 8: I'm just saying that. Now that's Pip right there. Don't

- 22:06Speaker 9: it's not a new album. I'm so sorry because people
- 22:09Speaker 9: are waiting for that. Kendrick Lamar's bell bottoms from a
- 22:12Speaker 9: Super Bowl performance have brought the trend back, and a legendary,
- 22:17Speaker 9: legendary icon has passed away.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Ms.
- 22:21Speaker 2: ROBERTA.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Flack. We'll talk about that. She was eighty eight years old.
- 22:25Speaker 9: That's all coming up at the top of the hour,
- 22:27Speaker 9: But right now it is time to ask the COLO,
- 22:31Speaker 9: our chief love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right, this is
- 22:34Speaker 9: from Monique in Summerville Summerfield. Monique writes, I'm almost six
- 22:39Speaker 9: feet tall and my man is my height when I'm
- 22:43Speaker 9: not wearing heels. He invited me to a red carpet event,
- 22:46Speaker 9: and he asked me not to wear heels. I don't
- 22:49Speaker 9: have a problem with his height, but he does. Should
- 22:51Speaker 9: I wear heels when I want to?
- 22:54Speaker 8: I mean I think you should put Yeah, that's just
- 22:58Speaker 8: you know what that is a little insecurity, you know. Now,
- 23:03Speaker 8: she says she's six feet and they the same height.
- 23:06Speaker 8: When she don't wear a heel, she wear, he'll she
- 23:08Speaker 8: gonna step up on him. He needs he needs some
- 23:11Speaker 8: damn boots. Sound like to me, he need a wedge.
- 23:14Speaker 8: I'm him up there?
- 23:17Speaker 2: What what he need? Tell me?
- 23:23Speaker 6: What is that?
- 23:25Speaker 13: You know where they they kind of ramped in the
- 23:28Speaker 13: back and you get a little more height, he'll.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Be up really yeah, where you get there, mat See
- 23:35Speaker 2: that's at set up.
- 23:36Speaker 1: He figured that out.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Do it.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I'll be five eleven sometimes, y'all.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I do.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I know what I know where to get him at
- 23:47Speaker 2: five eleven? Lord, he call him now five six two.
- 23:55Speaker 2: He's six and six two, flat footed. Put your boots on.
- 23:58Speaker 2: It gets strong over him. Yeah, he ain't got nothing
- 24:04Speaker 2: but nostril for you. After that, saying any boots.
- 24:07Speaker 1: The experts saying he needs a wedge. Okay, Yeah, So
- 24:11Speaker 1: what say you?
- 24:13Speaker 2: And I don't know, and I don't know how you
- 24:15Speaker 2: dressed this up like y'all on the red carpet. So
- 24:18Speaker 2: what do he do?
- 24:21Speaker 1: He's maybe an actor?
- 24:23Speaker 8: Well, then little man needs to just go on, just
- 24:25Speaker 8: go on and act and just gonna be fair. You
- 24:28Speaker 8: got tall girl. Ain't nothing wrong to the little man
- 24:30Speaker 8: on that red carpet. So whole bunch of them. I
- 24:34Speaker 8: see them all the time.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Uh huh, Okay, it was the last time you saw
- 24:39Speaker 1: one on red car.
- 24:41Speaker 2: On the red carpet.
- 24:42Speaker 8: Well, I ain't been on red coppet in a long time,
- 24:44Speaker 8: but I stood next to Tom Cruise one time.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Looked, you know the thing you got money, pim look
- 24:54Speaker 2: big on the camera. Done. He's been a little man
- 24:58Speaker 2: right there. He's by the same size as Money.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Yeah, i've seen him in personally.
- 25:06Speaker 2: But I'll tell you one thing though, Really really cool guy,
- 25:10Speaker 2: really really cool guy. All right.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Moving on to Gina and Richmond.
- 25:15Speaker 9: Gina writes, my boyfriend lives with me and we use
- 25:18Speaker 9: his place as an airbnb for extra income. Well, Friday,
- 25:22Speaker 9: he hung out with two girls that rented the place
- 25:25Speaker 9: and they took a picture and tagged him.
- 25:28Speaker 1: He said, it's nothing. How did he just happen to
- 25:32Speaker 1: be out with him? What happened here?
- 25:36Speaker 2: You mean, how he just happened to be out with him?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Uh huh. They're running his air and b so I rbnb.
- 25:42Speaker 8: So so I don't understand what her question is. How
- 25:46Speaker 8: did they just happen to be out? Yeah, well let's
- 25:52Speaker 8: start with yeah, did you ask him? Well, I mean,
- 25:59Speaker 8: but what what are we gonna do?
- 26:02Speaker 2: You ain't give us or not him?
- 26:04Speaker 8: Yeah, because see, we don't know what the situation was.
- 26:06Speaker 8: I don't know if they work together. I don't know
- 26:09Speaker 8: if they was at happy hour. I don't know if
- 26:11Speaker 8: it's coincidental, but it's mighty coincidental that the two chicks
- 26:16Speaker 8: you rent out your air and beach y'all somewhere party.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Now, somebody got somebody number.
- 26:21Speaker 9: He hung out with the two girls that rented the place.
- 26:24Speaker 9: That's that's all it says. That's all the evidence or
- 26:28Speaker 9: the explanation. That's the two girls, right.
- 26:37Speaker 8: So they wanted to talk about the condition of the
- 26:39Speaker 8: house and asked, you know, could he come and explain
- 26:43Speaker 8: it to him?
- 26:44Speaker 2: To lie down a cheefcake factory? How convenient?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's the lie. Okay, that's what you're going with.
- 26:57Speaker 2: These cats who found up.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 27:01Speaker 9: Well, we'll move on to Pinky then, Pinky out of
- 27:03Speaker 9: New Orleans. Pinky says, I had sex with a friend
- 27:08Speaker 9: in his car. He gave me a T shirt to
- 27:11Speaker 9: wear home. I kept the shirt and wore it to
- 27:14Speaker 9: brunch with jeans because it's a dope T shirt. I
- 27:18Speaker 9: got yelled at for wearing it. So how would his
- 27:21Speaker 9: wife knows his T shirt? Why is he tripping?
- 27:27Speaker 2: Pinky?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Come on, Pinky, Yeah, he wove her some geans.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's a dope T shirt.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah, to brunch. She wore to brunch, but he yelled
- 27:40Speaker 1: at her.
- 27:40Speaker 2: He was mad, and oh he yelled at her.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, he yelled at her.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 9: Because and then her next question is how would his
- 27:50Speaker 9: wife know that it was his T shirt? And why
- 27:53Speaker 9: is he tripping?
- 27:55Speaker 8: How's all y'all have the same brunch? Where is this
- 27:59Speaker 8: story going? There's too many loopholes in this thing. Wait
- 28:02Speaker 8: a minute, Pinky, the hell going on?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Take the shirt takes to the car first?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Okay, first that now, y'all.
- 28:13Speaker 2: At the brunch hollering here you got the T shirt
- 28:16Speaker 2: on four? Because I just I would. I'm just T shirt.
- 28:22Speaker 2: That's did you see my girl over here? I don't
- 28:27Speaker 2: think they were.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I don't think that's I think she bore it out
- 28:32Speaker 3: and he found out and yelled at her to make
- 28:35Speaker 3: it seem like my wife could have could have seen
- 28:38Speaker 3: you with the rocking this shirt. I don't think they
- 28:41Speaker 3: were all eating brunch together in Well, let's.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Get to the other problem.
- 28:46Speaker 8: How hard at this section the car of their hair
- 28:49Speaker 8: where you had to take what the hell you had
- 28:50Speaker 8: on wear this damn T shirt? Y'all have got to
- 28:55Speaker 8: get the damn room somewhere with a closet where you
- 28:58Speaker 8: hang your stuff up.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And was it just a T shirt that she had bottoms?
- 29:05Speaker 1: I mean, really, what's going on?
- 29:07Speaker 2: Some got tore up in that damn car.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a lot, Pinky, that's a lot I can. Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: that's what I was wanting you to stay, pinky, and
- 29:20Speaker 1: that's who it is to me.
- 29:21Speaker 3: But she worried about the white he had the shirt,
- 29:24Speaker 3: But you sleeping with.
- 29:27Speaker 8: That man that ain't even in the car. In the car,
- 29:31Speaker 8: all the rest of this is normal. What is he
- 29:34Speaker 8: hollering at me for a by.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Wearing this T shirt?
- 29:37Speaker 1: You're getting on my nerves? He my friend.
- 29:40Speaker 2: We had some sex. His wife didn't even see us.
- 29:44Speaker 8: I'm wed his damn shirt to a brunch and he's
- 29:46Speaker 8: gonna holler at me by some wearing this shirt because
- 29:49Speaker 8: his white.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Could see me in this shirt.
- 29:53Speaker 8: If the T shirt, say Jabari loves T shirt, didn't,
- 29:57Speaker 8: I understand the damn problem. If it's just one he
- 30:01Speaker 8: got an airbrush T shirt, youI loves T shirt.
- 30:05Speaker 1: JII.
- 30:10Speaker 9: All right, Phil, coming up at the top of the hour,

- 30:23Speaker 1: All right, Carla, what you got for us? All right, Shirley.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Before you get to entertainment news, let me tell y'all
- 30:29Speaker 3: about Swipper Power Mop.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I love it now. The Swipper power Mop is a
- 30:34Speaker 1: smarter way to mop.
- 30:36Speaker 3: You can get the cleaning done and half the time
- 30:38Speaker 3: because the solution it comes built in, and it's amazing
- 30:42Speaker 3: at breaking down grease and grime on my floors.

- 30:48Speaker 3: Scrubbing strips that absorb and lock dirt away.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So I'm not moving a dirt around on the floor,
- 30:56Speaker 1: just meeting it all around.

- 31:16Speaker 3: Power Mop and throw it away.
- 31:19Speaker 1: No ringing or rinsing required, right, Shirley. So check this out.
- 31:23Speaker 3: For a limited time, you can get five dollars off
- 31:26Speaker 3: the power mop at participating retailers.

- 31:46Speaker 1: say that your sensing yourself.
- 31:49Speaker 2: We have asked you.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Constantly, a constant problem for the last twenty years.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Whim will it in?
- 32:00Speaker 10: All right?
- 32:01Speaker 1: All right? Moving on, Turienna, thank you, you will? Thank you?
- 32:05Speaker 2: All right?
- 32:06Speaker 1: Moving on too, Rianna.
- 32:07Speaker 9: Her fans are still upset because Rihanna is focused on
- 32:11Speaker 9: doing everything but giving them a new album and an
- 32:14Speaker 9: interview for Harper's Bizarre magazine. The cover story we redetailed
- 32:18Speaker 9: how important her fenty line of hair, skin, and beauty
- 32:22Speaker 9: products is to her, she said, I care because my
- 32:26Speaker 9: name is on it. I don't want she says. Rihanna says,
- 32:30Speaker 9: I don't want my name to represent anything that I
- 32:34Speaker 9: don't stand for. I want you to do furniture, home design.
- 32:38Speaker 9: I think I'll do wine later in my life because
- 32:41Speaker 9: I respect the art of it all. And we would
- 32:45Speaker 9: want to have our own family vineyards.
- 32:47Speaker 1: So we're here for it. If Rihanna, here's a good question, though.
- 32:51Speaker 9: If Rihanna does start a home design and decorpes business,
- 32:55Speaker 9: think about that. She's a billionaire already at thirty seven.
- 32:58Speaker 9: If you would have started another bus business, Uh, what
- 33:01Speaker 9: would you.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Like to do?
- 33:02Speaker 6: This?
- 33:02Speaker 1: Home decor and furniture interest you at all? It's interesting,
- 33:06Speaker 1: that's cool.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Let me say this though, If Rihanna does not or
- 33:10Speaker 3: Rihanna does not get in that studio, she got a problem.
- 33:13Speaker 1: My daughter, Rianna. It's actually Rihanna. We've been saying.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Well for me.
- 33:23Speaker 8: I think it's absolutely genius because she's setting herself up
- 33:27Speaker 8: for not having to work and record music because I look, man,
- 33:33Speaker 8: it looks bad when you get real old and you
- 33:36Speaker 8: still trying to do what you used to do.
- 33:39Speaker 2: But you don't look like you did when you did it.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It just don't look good man.
- 33:45Speaker 8: And I think she's doing a smart thing by trying
- 33:48Speaker 8: to become a show her business accent.
- 33:51Speaker 2: So I'm all for it.
- 33:53Speaker 1: She don't herself.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not gonna know it, nohow.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And we're here for everything she does anyway.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I didn't get it.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Yet.
- 34:03Speaker 1: No, No, we love her music. You do love her music.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I didn't get the album before.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Well, my daughter has all her albums.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And she's like, yes, and I understand. And the person
- 34:14Speaker 2: I think she's super.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Cool to me at Rihanna. I love everything about her.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yes, I love Rocky when he found out he wasn't
- 34:24Speaker 2: going to.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Leap to his baker. All right, Okay, so moving on, Steve.

- 34:45Speaker 9: now by bell bottoms, you know, the trendy seventies Bell

- 34:52Speaker 9: is getting the credit. He's we have to thank for that.
- 34:55Speaker 2: That is not true.

- 35:20Speaker 9: Yeah, he wore a pair of those thirteen hundred dollars
- 35:23Speaker 9: flare jeans from Selene at the super Bowl.
- 35:26Speaker 1: But here's the thing. If you get them, they won't

- 37:58Speaker 9: has HUD of course, the headquarters in DC Monday morning.
- 38:02Speaker 9: I'm sure we all saw this. This was crazy.
- 38:04Speaker 1: It's a bizarre video where uh, Donald Trump was either
- 38:09Speaker 1: kissing Elon Must's feet or Trump had must toes in
- 38:13Speaker 1: his mouth. Ew Uh.
- 38:17Speaker 9: There have even been different reports the message long Live
- 38:20Speaker 9: the Real King was displayed on the King on the screen. Reportedly,
- 38:25Speaker 9: the message is a play on Trump's own words from
- 38:27Speaker 9: a post he did last week on truth Social It's
- 38:31Speaker 9: unclear how this AI video got into the HUD screens,
- 38:34Speaker 9: but it raises serious concerns about cybersecurity risks within government agencies.

- 39:11Speaker 2: But all he does is set himself up.
- 39:14Speaker 6: Man.
- 39:14Speaker 8: Here, here is Donald Trump's problem, his respect of money
- 39:18Speaker 8: and power overrules all judgment. He in bed with Poutin
- 39:23Speaker 8: now that we've never done that. And it's concerning from
- 39:27Speaker 8: a lot of Republicans to shut in their mouth. Who
- 39:31Speaker 8: gonna get us in some real trouble with foreign policy
- 39:34Speaker 8: because we're not allowed to vote on foreign policy that
- 39:37Speaker 8: you don't you don't get no vote or say so,
- 39:39Speaker 8: so they do what they want to do. This is
- 39:41Speaker 8: gonna damage America. That this whole thing. Man, and and
- 39:47Speaker 8: and then he's he's he's in bed with anybody that's
- 39:50Speaker 8: got money. That's why Elon Musk is there. He's sitting
- 39:53Speaker 8: up in there taking the same position as North Korea.
- 39:57Speaker 2: When have we ever done that?
- 39:59Speaker 6: Man?
- 40:00Speaker 2: Yeah, these are dictators, both of them, both of them.
- 40:05Speaker 8: Man, and and and that and and that ultimate power
- 40:08Speaker 8: that he reigns is so appealing to Donald Trump, and
- 40:11Speaker 8: that that that time covered with that crown on his head. Man,
- 40:15Speaker 8: let me tell you that he's sending somewhere dreaming of that.

- 40:35Speaker 1: Man, Crank does fly.
- 40:39Speaker 3: You're right, you've talked about the super wealthy, and you
- 40:42Speaker 3: said if he win, it's gonna be all about the
- 40:45Speaker 3: rich people all of that.
- 40:47Speaker 2: He will never change that. And he knows now there's

- 45:06Speaker 2: All right. I still swinging my feet when I meet
- 45:09Speaker 2: an ice cream.
- 45:11Speaker 1: This is one of the best joys ever as a
- 45:13Speaker 1: kid growing.
- 45:14Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, one has to go pet cat, pet tarantula,
- 45:18Speaker 9: or pet hamster.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I can't stand cats, man.
- 45:23Speaker 1: I can't stand none of them. They can rode it
- 45:26Speaker 1: a hamster.
- 45:32Speaker 9: Yeah all right, all right, speaker stress shoes slides. If
- 45:43Speaker 9: we have time, Harry flies, okay, all right, yeah all right,
- 45:50Speaker 9: Coming up next, the Nephew and the Frank Phone call

- 45:54Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:00Speaker 9: Coming up at about four minutes after the hour it's
- 46:02Speaker 9: my strawberry letter for today, and the subject is I
- 46:06Speaker 9: can't see past his shortcomings. We'll get into that, find
- 46:09Speaker 9: out exactly what that's all about.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Short, I heard short.
- 46:17Speaker 1: All right, we'll get.
- 46:19Speaker 9: Into it in just a few because right now it
- 46:21Speaker 9: is time for the nephew and today's prank phone call
- 46:24Speaker 9: what you got for his nest?
- 46:25Speaker 13: Well, some of these parents, they bring their kids to
- 46:28Speaker 13: the school, they drop them off, you know. Yeah, today's
- 46:31Speaker 13: title is nappy half nappy half. Yeah, yeah, I just
- 46:35Speaker 13: gotta call it aut I gotta call it. I gotta
- 46:37Speaker 13: call it for what it is. You know, your daughter
- 46:39Speaker 13: hair is nappy? Okay, and it's it's her appearance at
- 46:43Speaker 13: the school. I'm just sorry. We got to call another
- 46:45Speaker 13: parent and let them know how I feel about your
- 46:48Speaker 13: daughter's hair.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I see her at the school. We got through somebody
- 46:50Speaker 2: this half.
- 46:51Speaker 1: She can't help. That's a texture for hair.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 46:55Speaker 13: We're not doing that. Hell, we're here this school, at
- 46:57Speaker 13: this school. Okay, let's go cat dog nap half.
- 47:01Speaker 11: Hello.
- 47:02Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to get Francis. This is she, Hey, Francis,
- 47:04Speaker 6: how you doing. My name is Darryl. Our kids they
- 47:08Speaker 6: go to together. Oh yeah, yeah, your daughter's Kaitlyn right, Yes, okay,
- 47:13Speaker 6: my son is DJ Dale Junior. They I think I
- 47:16Speaker 6: may have met you at the beginning of the school year.
- 47:19Speaker 6: You remember meeting me, Daryl Dell.
- 47:21Speaker 11: Oh, I met a lot of people. But I'm sorry,
- 47:23Speaker 11: I can't place you right now.
- 47:24Speaker 6: Okay, I no problem. Hey, listen, I was getting a call.
- 47:28Speaker 6: You know, there's only a handful of black kids at
- 47:31Speaker 6: the school, you know, being a private school and all,
- 47:34Speaker 6: and we, the black parents, we all got together and
- 47:38Speaker 6: had a meeting a couple of nights ago.
- 47:40Speaker 11: Okay, you said, all the black parents.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Okay, I wasn't there.
- 47:43Speaker 11: Why wasn't I called?
- 47:44Speaker 6: Uh, well, we actually had a meeting about your daughter, Kaitlyn.
- 47:48Speaker 11: Well what about Kayln? Is she is there a problem
- 47:52Speaker 11: at school that she's cleaning or something? I don't even
- 47:54Speaker 11: know about what's going on with Well?
- 47:56Speaker 6: Actually were you know, we feel privileged to be you know,
- 47:59Speaker 6: you know, like I said, there's only a handful of blacks,
- 48:01Speaker 6: and we try to carry ourselves in a dignified way,
- 48:04Speaker 6: our presence, our attitude, the way we handle ourselves. And
- 48:08Speaker 6: you know, Kayla's doing very good in school from what
- 48:10Speaker 6: I understand and very nice with all the rest of
- 48:12Speaker 6: the kids. She's getting along. That's not the problem. What
- 48:15Speaker 6: we're trying to get is the grooming of Kaitlin. You know,
- 48:20Speaker 6: Kaylyn has these braids, and what we were trying to
- 48:24Speaker 6: do is get you know, we had a meeting about it.
- 48:26Speaker 6: We want to hold on, hold on.
- 48:28Speaker 11: Did you just say her grooming something wrong with her grooming?
- 48:32Speaker 6: Well, it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know,
- 48:34Speaker 6: the kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know,
- 48:37Speaker 6: we want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity.
- 48:41Speaker 6: The way we carry ourselves. We want to be, you know,
- 48:45Speaker 6: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really
- 48:48Speaker 6: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 48:50Speaker 6: braided up, you know, the union that kind of gives
- 48:54Speaker 6: off a ghetto type of look to it, and that's
- 48:56Speaker 6: what we're trying to avoid.
- 48:58Speaker 11: Are you crazy? It's something wrong with you you. First
- 49:02Speaker 11: of all, how the hell you get my numb If
- 49:04Speaker 11: you couldn't call me for the meeting, why are you
- 49:06Speaker 11: calling me nothing?
- 49:07Speaker 6: Well, like I said, man, the meaning was to get
- 49:09Speaker 6: the general consensus on where all the parents feel in
- 49:11Speaker 6: the same way about your daughter. And her braids. You know,
- 49:14Speaker 6: we're just trying to keep everything class here. When it
- 49:17Speaker 6: comes to the blacks that attendant school, there's only ten
- 49:19Speaker 6: of us, you know, ten children attending.
- 49:22Speaker 11: I tell you what you can attend, you could. What
- 49:24Speaker 11: you can attend is to is it on hanging up
- 49:26Speaker 11: in your trace? You tell the parents, all of them
- 49:30Speaker 11: for me. Y'all can go straight and hit rock bottom
- 49:33Speaker 11: out of hell talking about my child and her braids.
- 49:35Speaker 11: Her braids are ethnic, they're nice. She is wearing brooms.
- 49:39Speaker 11: And I don't know how in the hell you got
- 49:40Speaker 11: my telephone number. But tell all the parents for me,
- 49:44Speaker 11: the kids to crack of mine. You know what.
- 49:46Speaker 6: Listen, First of all, I don't like the way that
- 49:47Speaker 6: you're talking to me. Okay, I carry myself with class,
- 49:50Speaker 6: with dignity. I'm spitting polish man.
- 49:53Speaker 4: I wanted to.
- 49:56Speaker 6: Subject you call me, yeah, acting just as ghetto as
- 50:01Speaker 6: her hairstyle.
- 50:02Speaker 11: And let me say something real gatto to your Okay,
- 50:05Speaker 11: you and all parents can hit rocks some out of hell.
- 50:09Speaker 11: Don't call me no more.
- 50:10Speaker 3: We know like this.
- 50:11Speaker 11: This is ignorant. I'm far beyond this.
- 50:14Speaker 6: My child is well groomed.
- 50:16Speaker 11: She is going to go to school. As a matter
- 50:17Speaker 11: of fact, as much money as it costs to go
- 50:19Speaker 11: there to y'all should have been meeting on how we
- 50:21Speaker 11: can get together and pay the tuition. How about that?
- 50:25Speaker 6: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 50:26Speaker 6: you've got a problem taking her brains down and wearing
- 50:28Speaker 6: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 50:30Speaker 6: classy than what she looks right now. It's a pathetic
- 50:33Speaker 6: look that she's having right now.
- 50:35Speaker 11: You know what I don't. What's your hair look like?
- 50:37Speaker 11: Take a picture of your self and send it to me,
- 50:39Speaker 11: texted to me. Since you get fokes phone numbers and
- 50:41Speaker 11: give it to you, Take a picture of yourself and
- 50:44Speaker 11: text it to me. I bet you you looked like
- 50:46Speaker 11: who would have thought it? My daughter's braids are gonna
- 50:48Speaker 11: stay up for the rest of the years. As a
- 50:51Speaker 11: matter of fact, we ain't gonna even rebrate it. It's
- 50:53Speaker 11: gonna stay that way. So it could be matted and
- 50:55Speaker 11: represent that's what we're gonna do.
- 50:57Speaker 6: Francis, listen, I don't want to argue. I just want
- 50:59Speaker 6: to call and see if we could actually, you know,
- 51:02Speaker 6: come to a medium on this. Do you think that
- 51:04Speaker 6: there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm I'm picking
- 51:08Speaker 6: up DJ tomorrow after school. Would it would it be
- 51:11Speaker 6: all right if I picked up little Kayla and brought
- 51:14Speaker 6: her home and let my wife do our hair?
- 51:17Speaker 3: Please?
- 51:18Speaker 11: I wish he would pick my s thought up and
- 51:22Speaker 11: see what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my
- 51:24Speaker 11: husband him to come over your house and whoop your
- 51:27Speaker 11: after he breaks yo, I wish you would pick up
- 51:30Speaker 11: my door. I'll call the police on As a matter
- 51:33Speaker 11: of fact, you're gonna have to call the police on
- 51:35Speaker 11: me and my usband Steward and see what happens.
- 51:38Speaker 8: Ma'am.
- 51:38Speaker 6: I'm just trying to get some class here. That's all
- 51:40Speaker 6: we wanted. We're not wanting to fight with you. It's
- 51:42Speaker 6: just the blacks here. We think that we want a
- 51:45Speaker 6: little bit more classy look of the way we are. Groom.
- 51:48Speaker 6: That's the only thing we're looking for.
- 51:50Speaker 11: Only person who's gonna be taking the classes. And when
- 51:52Speaker 11: we get to whoop, you're gonna be taking the class?
- 51:55Speaker 11: How about that?
- 51:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 51:57Speaker 11: I can't stand up like y'all get five dollars and
- 52:02Speaker 11: one penny in your box. Didn't think you better than
- 52:04Speaker 11: everybody else. You forget where you came from. As a
- 52:07Speaker 11: matter of fact, what's your what's your name? Because I'm
- 52:10Speaker 11: calling the principal on your uh day, give me your
- 52:13Speaker 11: name and mister who what's your name?

- 52:19Speaker 6: really what my name is.

- 52:24Speaker 6: My name is my name? My real name is Tommy Thomas. No, no,

- 56:16Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry letter.
- 56:19Speaker 9: Thank you if you subject. I can't see past his shortcomings,
- 56:23Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley. I met a man online back in October.
- 56:27Speaker 9: He's moved to my city and he got a job transfer.
- 56:31Speaker 9: My mother lives with me and I had five year
- 56:34Speaker 9: old twins, so he got his own apartment. We spend
- 56:37Speaker 9: all of our time there because my house is hectic
- 56:40Speaker 9: at times. My mom is a great cook and she
- 56:43Speaker 9: sold hot lunches for years from the house. My boyfriend
- 56:46Speaker 9: has only been to my house once and my mom
- 56:49Speaker 9: said he was acting bougie and he kept looking around
- 56:52Speaker 9: my kitchen and on the floor like the house was
- 56:55Speaker 9: not clean.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I didn't get that from him at hall.
- 56:57Speaker 9: He has made a comment or two about things I
- 57:00Speaker 9: could improve, but that's only after I told him I
- 57:03Speaker 9: wanted to upgrade a few things around the house. When
- 57:06Speaker 9: we're at his place, it's like a different world. It's
- 57:09Speaker 9: less chaotic, and he makes sure it's clean at all times.
- 57:14Speaker 9: The only problem is that I hate the way he kisses,
- 57:17Speaker 9: and he is smaller than I expected him to be.
- 57:20Speaker 9: I don't think I can look past his shortcomings. I
- 57:23Speaker 9: can pretty much guarantee that he'll never cheat on me,
- 57:26Speaker 9: because no other woman would want that. I was talking
- 57:29Speaker 9: to my mom and my aunt about my boyfriend's shortcomings,
- 57:33Speaker 9: and my mom agreed that it's hard to be with
- 57:35Speaker 9: someone that doesn't satisfy you sexually. My aunt jumped into
- 57:39Speaker 9: the conversation and she told me that I have a
- 57:42Speaker 9: lot of nerve to judge that man when I'm in
- 57:45Speaker 9: a nasty home with twins that I can't say, that
- 57:49Speaker 9: can't say they're ABC's and they're five years old. We
- 57:52Speaker 9: all laughed. Then I realized that he might be judging
- 57:56Speaker 9: me too. Is that why he won't come over to
- 57:58Speaker 9: my house? And he said that he's not ready to commit.
- 58:01Speaker 9: Should I tell him what I hate about him and
- 58:04Speaker 9: then ask him what he hates about me?
- 58:06Speaker 1: Or would that mess things up? Mess what things up?
- 58:10Speaker 1: That's my question.
- 58:12Speaker 9: Didn't you just say you don't like the way he
- 58:14Speaker 9: kisses and you can't get past his shortcomings? That is
- 58:18Speaker 9: major in any relationship. The only way you can mess
- 58:22Speaker 9: things up is if you really want this guy. So
- 58:24Speaker 9: which one is it? And let me say this. If
- 58:27Speaker 9: your house is nasty and messy and all that, no,
- 58:30Speaker 9: he's not coming over there. He's already been over there
- 58:32Speaker 9: and he saw what he needed to see. You say
- 58:35Speaker 9: your house is hectic at times, that's how you put it.
- 58:38Speaker 9: Please do not confuse hectic with nasty, because no one
- 58:41Speaker 9: likes a nasty house, especially.
- 58:45Speaker 7: A man.
- 58:46Speaker 9: And no one likes a nasty house except the people
- 58:49Speaker 9: that are nasty. Okay, I'm just going to say it
- 58:51Speaker 9: like that. You say no other woman would want him
- 58:54Speaker 9: because he's small, but you want him, whether you admit
- 58:57Speaker 9: it or not. I think this is what i've I
- 59:00Speaker 9: think you need to talk to your aunt because she
- 59:03Speaker 9: evidently knows and feels a certain way about all of this.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Your kids included, what does she say?
- 59:08Speaker 9: They're five years old and they can't say they're ABC's
- 59:11Speaker 9: so again, before you start blaming or shaming him for
- 59:15Speaker 9: his so called shortcomings, you need to get yourself together
- 59:18Speaker 9: and clean up your house, because, in spite of all
- 59:21Speaker 9: your protests and criticism about him, you like this guy Steve.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Who Lord, I don't know how much trouble I'm gonna
- 59:33Speaker 2: get in for this letter. A lot.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 59:40Speaker 2: How to do this letter without, so you know what,
- 59:44Speaker 2: I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'ma just go
- 59:46Speaker 2: and do the letter. Yeah, my way.
- 59:50Speaker 8: Anything that y'all find unacceptable, inappropriate, wrong terminology. I'm asking
- 59:57Speaker 8: for your forgiveness in the wor birds of most women.
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: I would rather ask for your forgiveness than for your permission.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: So here we go. I met a man online. He
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: moved your city. They moved down there.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: Now you live with your mama and you got five
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: year old twins, So he got his own apartment. Y'all
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: spend all your time at his apartment because your house
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: is hectic at all times.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Now here what she tried to fix up? Fix up
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: the hectic.
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: My mom's a great cook and she has sold hot
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: lunches for years from the house.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: See right here. What you're trying to tell us it
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: is that this kitchen you finish.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: Described to us has been more like a fast food restaurant. Yes, now,
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: that's what you're trying to set us up for because
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: your mama, your mama, she sold hot lunches for years
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: from the house.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You don't do it no more.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: My boyfriend has been to my house once, and your
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: mama said he was acting all bullshy because he kept
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: looking around my kitchen and on the floor like the
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: house wasn't clean, you know, damn well in they ain't
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: no man over your house looking round at nothing. We
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: looking around and observing what is all this?
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: We see?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Why is this pot in the middle.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Of this floor?
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: Hey, nobody whed this spaghetti sauce off the backsplash of
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: this stove. And ain't no spaghetti on this stove. Ain't
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: nobody done the dishes in here? What is all the
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: tars in his damn flow with this food on it?
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: Who ain't in that baby chair and didn't wipe it off?
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: That's what your boyfriend is in that door because it's hectic. Now,
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: she said, I didn't get that from him at all.
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: Now he made a comment or two about things I
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: can improve. Hell yeah, he and that trying to tell
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: you something. But that's only after I told him I
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: wanted to upgrade a few things around the house. Baby,
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: so far the house. You describe it right here and
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: take mold of a couple of them. I thank you mama, Das,
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: that's what I think. I thank your mama, dasked. I
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: thank your mama. Been in there instill act she turning
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: out the kids' meals like she turned out.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Them hot lunches. She sold faulty meals. When I come back,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: we're gonna get into the part that could land me
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: in the most trouble.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Okay, Steve pray mast Yes, we'll have part two.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: Of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject I can't see past
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: his shortcomings.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: All right, let's go. Come on, Shirley, what you got?
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: I don't know if you know this, but I love
- 1:02:52Speaker 9: my job. We have a great time at work every day. Well,

- 1:03:26Speaker 9: Now, all right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: The subject is I can't see past his shortcoming.
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: Now, the reason that Tyler this letter exists, y'all, is
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: because she got a couple of problems with this man.
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: But before we get to the problem with the man,
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: she just described the page full of problems herself. The
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: man transferred minimal line transferred to her city, but he
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: got an apartment. They spend all their time over the
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: apartment because of how she live in her Mama, leah.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: Then we're gonna find out a little bit later on
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: that she got to eat twins how full of people.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: And the man only been over there one time and
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: he was looking around like all on the floor like
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: something was wrong. Now, Mama think he bougy because he
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: like a clean house. Why is it that you got
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: to be bugy because you like a clean house. But anyway, now,
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: she also set it up with her mama used to
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: sell hot lunches. Well, two things about this statement. She
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: used to sell hot lunches. Obviously, don't nobody want them? No,
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: damn mom, Because not only is your mama nasty, your
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: mama can't cook. You say she a great cook, but
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: she outed a hot lunch selling vests. Now, your boyfriend
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: had been over there. He don't like it, and he
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: made a couple of comments about some things you are
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: to improve because you told him you want to upgrade
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: something around the house. Now, she said, when we're at
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: his place, it's a whole different world. It's less chaotic
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: cause ain't nobody over there, and he makes sure he's
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: clean at all times. Tada, Most people like a clean house. Sorry,
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: that ain't a magic trick. The only problem is I
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: hate the way he kisses, and he's smaller than I
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: expected him to be. Well, now here we go. That
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: explains the really clean house. You can't be small to
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: have nasty his house too. You're not gonna get nobody.
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: You at least got to get him over to the
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: house and make him feel comfortable because everything else is
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: to go downhill as it is. And you don't like
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: the way he kiss, well, kissing ain't his problem. See
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: what he can't do is put a whole lot of
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: tongue in your mouth. You see what I'm saying, Because
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: he got another problem. See he's small, So what he
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: can't do it's put a lot of tongue in your mouth. Really,
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: because now the compassons it's just too much, Okay, And
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: I can't look past the shortcomings because I can pretty
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: much guarantee he'll never cheat on me, because no other
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: woman would won't that. I was talking to my mom
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: and my aunt about my boyfriend's shortcomings, and my mom
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: agreed that it's hard to be with somebody that don't
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: satisfy you such it Okay, I understand that, but now
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: let's take it to the next level. My aunt jumped
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: into the conversation, told me, you got a lot of
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: nerve judging that man. When I'm in a nasty home,
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: your aunt, know that your mama nasty. Your aunt know
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: just like the boyfriend who was accused of being bullshy
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: from looking around the house.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: Know the stuff always be on the floor. And here
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: go the part.
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: You at home with twins that can't say the ABC's
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: and they fired, and hig goes problem in the whole level.
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: You got these little dumb ass kids sitting up in
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: this house five years old.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: They little dumb ass can't say the ABC's.
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: Because y'all got them in there on the house on
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: a cleaning committee. Now what you need They need to
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: learn how to do something, cause I know goodn't hell well, five,
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: you supposed to be able to say a b ced.
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: I know you supposed to be aby I had twins.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: I've been five, and even my dumb ass could say
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: ABC and study while I was saying to ABC took
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: me forever. Now you got these your little dumb ass
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: kids sitting up in your house. Now your house nasty.
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: Your babies is done. You're sitting up here. Your mama trifle,
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: she'd have got put out there hot lunch selling business.
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: They up all night them kids is horngry because the
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: kids don't That's why your kids are stupid, because they
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: don't like their lunches. These kids are struggling enough at
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: the school. How many problems do we have in schools
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: across the country Because the kids are going to school,
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: are trying to learn, and they hungry. That's why we
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: had these school lunch programs. Your kids need to be
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: on a school lunch program because they can't eat their
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: grandmama's food. They kids are stupid. I don't think y'all
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: gonna stay together. And then you're talking about you don't
- 1:08:36Speaker 8: like the way he kissed. I done told you. This
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: man he got another problem because he's small, so he
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: can't put a whole lot of tongue in your mouth.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: He can't do it when you said that the first time.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: But I want people to understand because he can't do
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: that because he can't have.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: You messed up expecting some most stuff because it ain't
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: finish happen that he just didn't here. Now, Now, you
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: didn't know nothing when his friends was calling him, you
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: know how to molly.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: You ain't hear it. You ain't with the friends called

- 1:11:44Speaker 8: I say something that you ain't gonna make calling on
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: if y'all are paying attention no more but cake battle
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: chaulf in the taste difference, it's gonna be trifle.

- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Steed, they didn't cook the devil out them eggs. I'm
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: just taking well.
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: I have a suggestion, Tom Louie fellas for those of
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: you out there that are struggling to find your girl
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: a gift on the next Valentine Day anniversary, well, Mother's Day,
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: it is coming Mother's Day by all the mothers you know,
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: let's buy all of them.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Are chickens day get ever you're into eggs.
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: Yes, I love it. All right, guys, thank you. Coming
- 1:13:21Speaker 9: up at the top of the hour, Steve and dad
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: needs some advice. He has three daughters. He hates the
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: way his girls dress. We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve.
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: This one's from Marcella's in high Point. He says, I
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: have three daughters and I have clothes for them to
- 1:13:37Speaker 9: wear when they are at my house. They are fifteen, twelve,
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: and ten. I don't like any of the clothes my
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: ex wife lets them wear. Everything is short, tight, and cheap.
- 1:13:47Speaker 9: My girls have sweats, dresses, jeans, and everything else at
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: my house. My ex wife said, I'm too closed minded
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: when it comes to raising our girls. I just don't
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: want my girls objectified and cheap clothes that aren't complimentary
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: to their growing bodies. My girls don't seem to mind.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: But do I owe them an explanation? That's what he
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: wants to know.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Mar Well, yeah, I think you do.
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: I think it's important for a father to tell a
- 1:14:11Speaker 8: girl how men perceive them, how men think of them.
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: How men use them, how men take advantage of them,
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: what all boys want. You gotta have this conversation with
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: your daughters, and that has been missing in the world
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: for a lot of young girls who grow up without
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: their dad and wind up looking for love in the
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: wrong places and not knowing what true love looks like
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: and how to value theyself because they've never seen a
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: man value them before. So you, as a father, is
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: your job and obligation to show your daughters the real value,
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: and the best way to do it is how you
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: treat they mother. You know now you and you and
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: your ex wife ain't together. But it wasn't cause you.
- 1:14:51Speaker 8: You you abused her. You know, y'all just wasn't good together.
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: But you love your daughters and you don't want them
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: being objects of men's They and they're young. Man ten
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: twelve fifteen. Man, Yeah, bruh, don't give up the fight.
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: Keep talking to him, Keep talking to him. Now, they
- 1:15:11Speaker 8: don't make some mistakes, but just keep talking to him.
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: That's all right, that's all right.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Great advice, Steve, Great advice.
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: Because I've had had this conversation with all of them. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:23Speaker 8: I got what's in style, I got what they went
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: out here. But let me tell you how men look
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: at y'all. Yeah, all men look at y'all this way?
- 1:15:32Speaker 9: Okay, all right, I love it. This one's from Tyra
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: and Saint Louis. She says, I got a call from
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: a female that said, my husband is messing with her sister.
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: I told her what's done in the dark will come
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: out in the light, and she hung up on me.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: She texted me yesterday to tell me that her sister
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: was out with my husband again. But my husband was
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: on the couch sleep. How do I find out who's
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: playing on my phone? Is this something I should investigate?
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Or should I ignore the woman?
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: Well, listen, if you, first of all, you need to
- 1:16:04Speaker 8: block her, and then if she talking about your husband
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: doing this with your husband and on the count, so
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: she's lying, right, So now, don't let nobody get a
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: wedge in your mass. It ain't there, and whatever her
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: motive is, don't let it affect you.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: You can investigate it a lot of ways. I'm not
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: going to tell it to you on the air, But
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: there's so many things you can do. That's cybersecurity stuff
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: out there that's amazing.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: That's I had a wrong damn number.
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: A person, lady, don't don't. Don't get caught up in
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: that block her. Ignore that, you know.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Yeah that's easy. Yeah, yeah, because this is terrible. You know,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: she's trying to break this family up. I don't like that.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Get that Life three sixty app. You'll know where he is, Okay,
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Like I just saw that on forty eight hours, your
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: favorite show Man.
- 1:17:11Speaker 8: They got this dude called up because father said, my
- 1:17:13Speaker 8: son did not hurt anybody.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: He said, We got this three sixty app.
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: And that app tells you where your vehicle is, yes,
- 1:17:23Speaker 8: how fast it was going, the route it took, Yes,
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: if it stops, how long it stopped.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Everything.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you, fellas, it does all that. Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: team driver, so you know, yeah, fellas, I'm just trying
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: to tell you fellas.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Don't get on that app. Though you're gonna have to
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: explain everything. See. The beautiful thing about that app.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: With me is I don't drive, so oh so you
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: don't really?
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, Peel, if you have the app and you don't
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: drive and you're in the car, can still do a report.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Oh stick with me, all right? Thanks guys.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, We'll have

- 1:24:56Speaker 2: with this. Damn, Joe's.
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: Be quiet, hey, my closes. The remarks today is a
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: bit of encouragement just about responsibility. I understand that responsibility
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: can be daunting at times, but have you ever thought
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: about looking at it like this, How great and how
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: wonderful it has to be when the responsibilities get a
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: bit much that you still have the capability of handling them.
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: I know it's tough, but you were equipped for it.
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: You've survived it so many times. You are wonderfully made.
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: God has strengthened you and favored you and graced you
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: and got you in this position. Sometimes you know, you're
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: the one in the family that everybody go to with
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: all the problems, all they requests, and I know it
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: gets on your nerves, and I know you want to go. Man,
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: I wish they would call somebody else. But let me
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: ask you this though, Ain't it better to be the
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: one that's being called than the one that has to call?
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: I would rather be the lender than the borrower. And
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: I know it gets on your nerves. I know you do,
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: because many of you all listening to others, the ones
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: in your family that climbed the corporate letter that got
- 1:26:28Speaker 8: the position down at the post office, that worked to
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: save your money, that managed to put your retirement money up,
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: that has managed to go to work and accumulate some money.
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: And we all got them relatives, man, that just don't
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: get it. They just don't get it. That seemed like
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: they ain't trying to do no better. And every time
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: they get in a hole here they come, Hey, brouh
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: can you man? Can you help me out?
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: Hey?
- 1:26:58Speaker 8: Let me holler at you know you got it. Hey,
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: look man, I've been I just got into myself in
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: a little position over and over and.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: Over and over. And you want to go, hey, man,
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: when are you gonna stop doing this to yourself?
- 1:27:15Speaker 8: And it gets to be a bit much. But man,
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: think about it, y'all. Ain't it a blessing to be
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: the one that you turned out to be. You may
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: not be have reached all your goals yet and gotten
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: exactly where you want to be, But man, ain't you
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: better off than you were? Ain't you better off than most?
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: And I know I've said this before that comparison is
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: the biggest thief of joy. Comparison is the biggest thief
- 1:27:45Speaker 8: of joy, But it can also be a reminder of
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: how far you've come, how well you've done, how the
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: sacrifices you've made have paid off.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: I would rather be the loner than the borrower. And
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: as daunting as that can be, it's a really, really
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: good position.
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: And every now and there, man, I have to remind
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: myself that to whom much is given, much is required.
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: That's true of you, because it's all relative. See quit
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: talking about who rich and who ain't. It's a lot
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: of ways to be rich, rich in spirit, rich in family,
