- 0:59Speaker 3: Gotta do you love, you.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I got to turn the mouth. The turn you probably
- 1:43Speaker 3: got to turn the mouth, turn out the water, the
- 1:47Speaker 3: money up looking. Come come on you think that?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 7: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 7: a radio show you know today. I was thinking of
- 2:13Speaker 7: what I would say today, and it just dawned on
- 2:16Speaker 7: me this way, and I just want to share this
- 2:18Speaker 7: with everybody listening. You've got to get some help to
- 2:22Speaker 7: make it through life. I cannot imagine where I would
- 2:25Speaker 7: be if it was not for the help of my God,
- 2:30Speaker 7: if it wasn't for his grace and mercy, if I
- 2:33Speaker 7: did not have the ability to lean on him and
- 2:37Speaker 7: all the times I've had to lean on him, which
- 2:39Speaker 7: has become a daily basis. I have no idea where
- 2:43Speaker 7: I would be, but clearly I know for a matter
- 2:46Speaker 7: of fact, I would not be here today. You have
- 2:49Speaker 7: got to get some help to get through this thing
- 2:51Speaker 7: called life. I am begging you to look into it. Man,
- 2:55Speaker 7: you've got to form a relationship with God. Without a
- 2:59Speaker 7: relationship with God, this thing called life is.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Daunting at times. I don't care who you are.
- 3:04Speaker 7: I know I'm speaking the truth right now, because listen,
- 3:09Speaker 7: no matter who you are, what job title you have,
- 3:12Speaker 7: what aspirations you may have, I don't care what your
- 3:16Speaker 7: educational background is or is not. It does not matter.
- 3:20Speaker 7: If you don't get a real relationship going on with God.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I don't see how you can make it.
- 3:25Speaker 7: So many people are faking in fronting out here like
- 3:28Speaker 7: they got it going on, and you don't know, And
- 3:31Speaker 7: you really don't know how many people that you think
- 3:34Speaker 7: in your neighborhood had it going on because you saw
- 3:36Speaker 7: a car pull up in the driveway, or they house
- 3:39Speaker 7: look bigger, or the grass is cutting nicer, and you
- 3:42Speaker 7: only find out that a foreclosure sign on they house too.
- 3:46Speaker 2: See, you don't know.
- 3:47Speaker 7: The mask that people put on to parade around in
- 3:51Speaker 7: is for appearance sakes. So a lot of people you
- 3:54Speaker 7: looking at that you think got it going on. Who
- 3:57Speaker 7: might be the pattern of success that you wan a
- 3:59Speaker 7: trace you got to be real careful with that because
- 4:02Speaker 7: it may not be as it appears to be. But
- 4:04Speaker 7: one thing is for sure, no matter what's going on
- 4:08Speaker 7: in your life, I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing,
- 4:13Speaker 7: or I realized, no matter what the appearances may be,
- 4:17Speaker 7: that on the other side of me, I'm gonna be
- 4:20Speaker 7: just fine.
- 4:21Speaker 2: See.
- 4:22Speaker 7: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:26Speaker 7: dragging your name through the mud. Look, man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 7: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:32Speaker 7: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 7: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 7: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 7: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:46Speaker 7: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 7: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 7: be all right.
- 4:53Speaker 2: See.
- 4:53Speaker 7: That's what the relationship gives you, man. It gives you
- 4:56Speaker 7: the confidence to know that the things that you're going
- 4:59Speaker 7: through a temporary that is just the space that you
- 5:02Speaker 7: happen to be in. Like I said the other day,
- 5:05Speaker 7: you got to remember something. The road to success is
- 5:09Speaker 7: always under construction. You might as well get ready for that.
- 5:13Speaker 7: If you planing on changing, getting better, doing something about
- 5:17Speaker 7: your health.
- 5:17Speaker 2: If you decide, hey.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Look, I just would like to live a longer, more
- 5:21Speaker 7: prosperous life, or hey I want to make X amount
- 5:24Speaker 7: of dollars, or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out
- 5:26Speaker 7: in these streets and I'm gonna come home and treat
- 5:29Speaker 7: my family way they ought to be treated. I don't
- 5:30Speaker 7: care what decision you make. When you strike out on
- 5:33Speaker 7: that road to success, it's under construction, partner. There's barrels
- 5:38Speaker 7: out there, there's wide turns, there's detours.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:42Speaker 7: It's me and out there holding signs saying slow down.
- 5:46Speaker 7: Sometimes they put the stop sign up. You got to
- 5:48Speaker 7: wait and watch people go by you on the other side.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Then before you can take off again. You've all been
- 5:55Speaker 7: on the road with construction on it. It can be
- 5:58Speaker 7: so frustrating. And the whole time you on that road,
- 6:01Speaker 7: I know when I'm on the road we can under construction.
- 6:04Speaker 7: I'm always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever
- 6:08Speaker 7: set in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if
- 6:13Speaker 7: I get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 7: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:18Speaker 7: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 6:22Speaker 7: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:25Speaker 7: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 7: further off course. Because wasn't no detourls signed for that,
- 6:32Speaker 7: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 7: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 7: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 7: thought might be shortcuts. But I got to tell you something,
- 6:42Speaker 7: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 7: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 7: your way. And look background. I remember one time I
- 6:50Speaker 7: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 6:54Speaker 7: of chemical spill in a truck and you could all
- 6:59Speaker 7: move see the smoke up ahead.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It very faint.
- 7:03Speaker 7: So they detoreed us through the desert and we had
- 7:06Speaker 7: to go all the way around, and I drove, man
- 7:09Speaker 7: like an hour and a half out of the way,
- 7:11Speaker 7: and when they entered us back on the freeway where
- 7:14Speaker 7: we were to go back to La as soon as
- 7:17Speaker 7: I got it that exit to get back on the freeway,
- 7:20Speaker 7: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
- 7:24Speaker 7: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
- 7:27Speaker 7: all the way around in that desert to get back
- 7:30Speaker 7: to almost the same place. But it was the best
- 7:33Speaker 7: way to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:37Speaker 7: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 7: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
- 7:43Speaker 7: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 7: go round a little bit. So quis stop being impatient
- 7:49Speaker 7: with I don't want to go around. I'm gonna go
- 7:51Speaker 7: this way, You go that way if you want to
- 7:53Speaker 7: just follow the detour science. See, because somebody that came
- 7:56Speaker 7: up this road before you have somebody try the road already,
- 8:01Speaker 7: and they took the way around, and yeah, it seemed
- 8:04Speaker 7: like it's a longer way, and you want to make
- 8:06Speaker 7: that other decision. But stay on the road to success.
- 8:09Speaker 7: It's under construction, man, That's just the way it goes.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Don't lose your patience and try to create a shortcut
- 8:15Speaker 7: for yourself. I'm gonna go away. Ain't nobody ever gone way?
- 8:18Speaker 7: Hold up, pardon you, you really think you're gonna do that? Listen,
- 8:21Speaker 7: there's oftentimes a lot of rewards when you go the
- 8:25Speaker 7: least travel path, But the road to success is the
- 8:29Speaker 7: least travel path. That's what you keep getting mixed up.
- 8:32Speaker 7: You keep thinking if you go another way, No, No,
- 8:34Speaker 7: stay on the road to success. That is the least
- 8:37Speaker 7: travel path. It's under construction. You can go out there
- 8:41Speaker 7: with your machete if you want to talking about cutting
- 8:43Speaker 7: new trails. You think the road to success is under construction,
- 8:49Speaker 7: take the other route and get that machete out and
- 8:51Speaker 7: see how long you be out there trying to cut
- 8:53Speaker 7: a path. Sometimes, Man, you just got to stay patient.
- 8:57Speaker 7: The road to success has been traveled for by millions
- 9:01Speaker 7: of people in front of you, everybody that has some
- 9:03Speaker 7: setbacks in life. But don't get off the road to
- 9:06Speaker 7: success just because you having some setbacks, just because you
- 9:09Speaker 7: see some orange barrels up, just because there's some men
- 9:12Speaker 7: out there with vest on. What they got to do
- 9:14Speaker 7: with you? Everybody, everybody that's trying to.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Be successful, is on that road.
- 9:19Speaker 7: Your relationship with God helps you guide yourself around the barrels.
- 9:25Speaker 7: It helps you have the patience to go around that way.
- 9:29Speaker 7: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 9:32Speaker 7: you got to go out there so you can learn
- 9:34Speaker 7: some things. See, you need God to make it in life,
- 9:38Speaker 7: because the road to success is always under construction. He
- 9:43Speaker 7: calms you down. When the barrels is up, he lets
- 9:46Speaker 7: you know it's gonna be all right. He rewards you
- 9:49Speaker 7: with the patience to finish because he gonna get you
- 9:51Speaker 7: right back where you need to be and you can
- 9:53Speaker 7: get on which way you is going.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Okay, All right, y'all, we're gonna try that today.
- 9:57Speaker 8: Your listeners to the Steve Harveymore.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. Let me have you know what. I

- 10:12Speaker 2: Now I think I.
- 10:13Speaker 7: Must have it, because well, let me explain to you
- 10:16Speaker 7: this way. If you have me on your radio right now,
- 10:19Speaker 7: obviously I have some of your attention. So why am
- 10:23Speaker 7: I wasting my time asking for something you've probably already
- 10:26Speaker 7: given me.
- 10:28Speaker 2: So instead of.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Giving me anything, let's give praise and gratitude and honor
- 10:33Speaker 7: to an almighty God for letting us live to see
- 10:36Speaker 7: another one man another one. Whatever measure of health you got,
- 10:41Speaker 7: at least you got it. You still here, man, I'm
- 10:45Speaker 7: glad about that. Ain't God good? All the time? And
- 10:48Speaker 7: all the time? God is good? Yeah. According to the Internet,
- 10:54Speaker 7: this is the country Bumpkin talking to you lie on
- 10:58Speaker 7: the radio. Hey, man, you know what the Internet has
- 11:05Speaker 7: given me? And I want to thank the Internet for this.
- 11:07Speaker 7: You all have given me a measure of strength that
- 11:10Speaker 7: I didn't even know I had. You all have shown
- 11:12Speaker 7: me how to really lock in to my peace that
- 11:17Speaker 7: God provides me. You all have made me stronger in
- 11:21Speaker 7: the scripture. You all have made my favorite scripture, Isaiah
- 11:25Speaker 7: fifty four seventeen come to full life and fruition. I

- 11:34Speaker 2: You made me look deeper.
- 11:36Speaker 7: I've went into Psalms ninety one now and all because
- 11:39Speaker 7: of the Internet.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So thank y'all.
- 11:42Speaker 7: No weapon formed a gives me so prosper You actually
- 11:45Speaker 7: caused me to get stronger and deeper.

- 12:13Speaker 9: want you to be black and talking about we're gonna

- 13:09Speaker 9: You're gonna check on me too. You ain't taking my trail.
- 13:13Speaker 9: You can see I don't want to do this this year.

- 14:48Speaker 7: All right, now, little go on and begin to get
- 14:51Speaker 7: this out the way. Yeah, church complaints, come on DC, All.
- 14:56Speaker 11: Right, pass, let's get down to my brother, ah, my
- 14:59Speaker 11: reason Sellers. Maurice Sellers was on life support. Supposedly he
- 15:04Speaker 11: was doing well until his grandson, Jacoby, who's twelve, was
- 15:08Speaker 11: sitting in the hospital room with brother Maurice while his
- 15:11Speaker 11: daughter Cynthia went to the cafeteria. Well, jacoby phone was
- 15:17Speaker 11: low on charge and he was playing some game on
- 15:19Speaker 11: his phone. He unplugged the life support system and plugged
- 15:23Speaker 11: his phone out. Fortunately, that along went off and they
- 15:26Speaker 11: got Maurice's plugged back up. The problem is Jacoby is
- 15:30Speaker 11: now on life support too. Sister Cynthia, look that phone
- 15:35Speaker 11: so far up in that boy he still ain't got
- 15:37Speaker 11: that phone out and her bell has set at twenty
- 15:40Speaker 11: thousand dollars.
- 15:42Speaker 7: Well, the good thing with that is, you know, learn
- 15:47Speaker 7: this from my grain children that as long as you
- 15:52Speaker 7: have to find my phone app. They'll be able to
- 15:57Speaker 7: dig that phone out. Oh you got they can't find
- 16:07Speaker 7: that phone. I know she sure get any pretty far,
- 16:10Speaker 7: but that's at least you know that he did. They'll
- 16:13Speaker 7: find my phone app, can get that phone out of here.
- 16:18Speaker 7: That's all right, Go ahead now, all right, as.
- 16:22Speaker 11: You know passed the coal and flu bugs out there
- 16:25Speaker 11: strong here. At the beginning of the year, we have
- 16:28Speaker 11: a problem. Brother Philip Jenkins took half bay quill and
- 16:32Speaker 11: half night quill. He was walking around his job looking
- 16:35Speaker 11: high his eye head that dropped all the way down,
- 16:38Speaker 11: and they fired him and sent him home. He's asking
- 16:41Speaker 11: if we can help with his bills this month and
- 16:44Speaker 11: said uh. He said all that with his eyes closed,
- 16:46Speaker 11: but that's your car pass if you want to.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Help him out. He want to help with his phone bill.
- 16:52Speaker 2: He won't help with his bills period.
- 16:53Speaker 11: He didn't lost the duck he was on that day
- 16:55Speaker 11: queel that day quill and night quill.
- 16:57Speaker 7: At the same time, we don't have nothing for that.
- 17:02Speaker 7: We don't our building fun is all that money is
- 17:06Speaker 7: just for building And I guess y'all to notice we
- 17:10Speaker 7: ain't built nothing, so we can't cut into that and
- 17:14Speaker 7: we don't have a sick and shuddy end fund. We'll
- 17:16Speaker 7: put him on the proud list. And due to the
- 17:23Speaker 7: weather of late, we can't even make our rounds on
- 17:26Speaker 7: the shutty end list. So you just shut in now,
- 17:30Speaker 7: we don't get that's true. No, we'll say that for
- 17:37Speaker 7: another week. We can't help nobody due to the inclement weather.
- 17:43Speaker 7: I don't even pray when it's discold.
- 17:48Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, this is a much meeting. This meeting
- 17:56Speaker 11: has to happen. The side chick meeting has to happen.
- 17:58Speaker 11: It's coming wins. It has gotten out of hand last year,
- 18:01Speaker 11: so we want to get it in check. This your
- 18:03Speaker 11: first order of news. Only if you are in your
- 18:07Speaker 11: twenties to thirty two can you be called a side kick.
- 18:12Speaker 11: If you in your mid thirties, farty, fifties and sixties,
- 18:15Speaker 11: then you are not a side kick. You are inside rooster,
- 18:19Speaker 11: I stretched turkey old. Hen you are up and now
- 18:24Speaker 11: in the path that we would like for you to
- 18:25Speaker 11: deliver the news.
- 18:26Speaker 7: If you don't, man, well, you know, for those of
- 18:32Speaker 7: you that have been side chicken more than three years,
- 18:39Speaker 7: let's make a new rule. Now, if you have been
- 18:43Speaker 7: side chicken more than three years. It should have dawned
- 18:49Speaker 7: on you by now that day is no future inside chicken. Yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 7: and please govern yourself a cody, Come on in, man,
- 19:00Speaker 7: Know that if you were, you not going anywhere, no
- 19:05Speaker 7: where soon or late.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Mum hmm.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Just wanted to put that out there. Now you can
- 19:13Speaker 7: handle that as you wont dc.
- 19:15Speaker 11: That's to the roosters and the oster and the turkeys.

- 22:05Speaker 10: the weather extremes across the country and the horrific wildfires
- 22:09Speaker 10: in La the metro areas there. That's coming up at
- 22:12Speaker 10: the top of the hour. So sad, what's going on
- 22:15Speaker 10: out there? We'll talk about it. Yeah, yeah, we'll talk
- 22:19Speaker 10: about it, But right now it is time for us
- 22:22Speaker 10: to ask the CLO our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:26Speaker 12: This one's from Felix and Mobile.
- 22:29Speaker 10: Felix writes, I met my wife for dinner and afterwards
- 22:33Speaker 10: she said she was stopping by her sister's house. She
- 22:36Speaker 10: came home three hours later, and she hadn't answered my calls,
- 22:40Speaker 10: nor did her sister. She's never lied to me, and
- 22:44Speaker 10: is it crazy to believe she was visiting her sister?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Is that crazy?
- 22:50Speaker 6: Bro?
- 22:50Speaker 2: What's your trip? Your folks?
- 22:52Speaker 12: So it made him suspicious.
- 22:54Speaker 2: She ain't asked the phone.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Now, I'm sure about the time we get this letter
- 22:58Speaker 7: you have asked her why you ain't answer your phone?
- 23:02Speaker 6: Now?
- 23:03Speaker 7: Whatever she told you could have possibly been the truth.
- 23:07Speaker 7: She's going by her sister time. Now her sister didn't
- 23:09Speaker 7: answer the phone.
- 23:10Speaker 2: You know how we do.
- 23:12Speaker 7: If I tell you I'm going over my boy harold house,
- 23:16Speaker 7: I call Harold and I tell Harold. Look, I'd have
- 23:20Speaker 7: told my girl I'm going over your house if she
- 23:23Speaker 7: called dog, don't evenail.
- 23:26Speaker 2: You already know we'd have done that. Now you're thinking
- 23:29Speaker 2: she'd have done that.
- 23:30Speaker 7: And the only reason you thinking she'd have done that
- 23:34Speaker 7: is cause you would.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Have done that.
- 23:36Speaker 7: Thanks, gott, You see what I'm saying, Yes, sir, so uh,
- 23:42Speaker 7: just relaxed.
- 23:43Speaker 8: Okay, all right?
- 23:46Speaker 10: Moving on to Shamika and Lexington. Shamika writes, I write
- 23:49Speaker 10: to work with a married neighbor, and we fool around in.
- 23:53Speaker 12: The car before he dropped me off.
- 23:55Speaker 10: Some mornings he has at the neighbor.
- 24:00Speaker 12: She writes to work with her married neighbor.
- 24:03Speaker 5: This is.
- 24:05Speaker 10: And she said they fool around in the car before
- 24:07Speaker 10: he drops her off some mornings. He has an electric
- 24:10Speaker 10: car now and it has a camera in it, so
- 24:13Speaker 10: he's afraid to get freaky in it. Somika's question is colo,
- 24:20Speaker 10: is it unladylike if I offer to get us a
- 24:23Speaker 10: hotel room?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Wait a minute, what is you talking about? Is it
- 24:28Speaker 2: unlady like to get it?
- 24:31Speaker 7: You wasn't worried about if you would lady like to
- 24:33Speaker 7: get red over.
- 24:34Speaker 2: In that car? Right you begin drove all up in
- 24:39Speaker 2: the call up.
- 24:40Speaker 7: In the dash board, even all over the head board
- 24:44Speaker 7: bit by the stick shift, and now you want to
- 24:47Speaker 7: worry about it.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Is it unlady like to get a hotel room? Lady?
- 24:51Speaker 7: You way past that thought. Don't do what you want
- 24:54Speaker 7: to do. I'm the unlady girl, guy asked questions, I know,
- 25:04Speaker 7: what is it lady like to get a hotel room?
- 25:09Speaker 10: Moving on to uh AS in Brooklyn, Avis writes, my
- 25:13Speaker 10: twenty four year old son lives with me and he
- 25:15Speaker 10: pays half of the bills. I have a new boyfriend,
- 25:18Speaker 10: and my son said we need to have some house rules,
- 25:23Speaker 10: and he wants to put limits on how often my
- 25:25Speaker 10: man can stay over. My man said I should put
- 25:29Speaker 10: my son out, but he's not willing to help me financially.
- 25:33Speaker 12: If I do put him out, what should I do?
- 25:36Speaker 2: Well?
- 25:37Speaker 7: You know, Hollo, see, all the men in her life
- 25:43Speaker 7: come with stipulations. The boy who's staying up that made
- 25:51Speaker 7: house rules for her, the man who is staying with her,
- 25:58Speaker 7: that made a house rule for her.
- 26:02Speaker 2: If I got to go, I can't pay no more.
- 26:06Speaker 7: If I can't give what I want, you ain't gonna
- 26:09Speaker 7: be able to give what you want.
- 26:11Speaker 12: Uh. That's the problem.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Now, ladies, let me say this right here quick, giving
- 26:18Speaker 7: up your power. First of all, you his mama.
- 26:25Speaker 1: That's ae.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, let's just start there.
- 26:29Speaker 7: And it's your house right number two, that's your relationship
- 26:36Speaker 7: with your man. And he can't get it how he
- 26:41Speaker 7: wanted and you don't get get it how you want it.
- 26:44Speaker 12: That's right.
- 26:46Speaker 7: So, ladies, just stop giving up your power. Take your
- 26:49Speaker 7: power back. You have control of this whole situation, especially
- 26:53Speaker 7: with that man. Now, that boy you can control because
- 26:56Speaker 7: he can get his old ass out your twenty four
- 27:02Speaker 7: living at your mama house. You need to be very quiet,
- 27:06Speaker 7: very quiet.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You don't call those shuts running.
- 27:13Speaker 7: You Lucky you Lucky they got cell phones back, because
- 27:16Speaker 7: when I was twenty four, I'm telling you right now,
- 27:19Speaker 7: I didn't live with my mom and daddy. But I've
- 27:21Speaker 7: been over there and couldn't use the phone. I'd have
- 27:26Speaker 7: visited my mom and daddy and had to stay off
- 27:29Speaker 7: the phone because she was expecting Earlene to call.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I've done early.
- 27:34Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, last one clo. This is from Diane
- 27:40Speaker 10: and Indianapolis, and Diane says, my husband hates when I
- 27:44Speaker 10: wear leggings if I'm going out of the house, but
- 27:48Speaker 10: he wears tight jeans and tight shirts all the time.
- 27:51Speaker 10: His stomach and his sighs are too big for the clothes.
- 27:53Speaker 10: But I don't ever say a word. Should I bust
- 27:57Speaker 10: this bubble and tell.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Him I ain't gonna do fine ass liquors? Stop that?
- 28:02Speaker 7: Yeah? Yeah, yeah you should. I don't know why he
- 28:04Speaker 7: have in trouble with your legas and fellas. Listen to me,
- 28:08Speaker 7: cut these little ti I thought skinny jeans is out.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Now that's what I think are now? And what have
- 28:15Speaker 7: we always? I'm talking about this for men demand, So
- 28:19Speaker 7: now for let's just understand the rule Number one for
- 28:23Speaker 7: skinny jeans is you have to be skinny.
- 28:27Speaker 2: What you cannot do.
- 28:30Speaker 7: It is put on a pair of skinny jeans and
- 28:33Speaker 7: when you button them, you look like a waffle cone.
- 28:36Speaker 7: You know that little ice cream cone that with the
- 28:39Speaker 7: point on it and then the ice cream hang over
- 28:42Speaker 7: the top. That's what it looked like when your fat
- 28:44Speaker 7: ass snapped them pants and your gut is hanging over
- 28:48Speaker 7: them jeans.
- 28:49Speaker 2: So that's for starters right there.
- 28:52Speaker 7: And fellas get a grip on you and stuff is
- 28:56Speaker 7: age appropriate? Now, that's things that's age appropriate. That stuff
- 29:01Speaker 7: you can't do. Like you know, I noticed old guys
- 29:05Speaker 7: starting to braid their hell, you passed that. If you fitted,
- 29:11Speaker 7: If you fitted and you have not had dreads or
- 29:15Speaker 7: braids before, if you ain't let.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Grow into him at fit, you don't do this.
- 29:23Speaker 7: I don't know what made Scottie Pippen plat his hair,
- 29:27Speaker 7: but Scotty Pipping platted his hair.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I'm just as damn confused.
- 29:33Speaker 11: Hey, manat in your hair fault?
- 29:38Speaker 2: If you got it though flooded.
- 29:39Speaker 7: You played with Jordan, What is you platting your hair fault?
- 29:46Speaker 1: What they got to do?
- 29:46Speaker 7: That's out of our generation. If you played with Magic
- 29:55Speaker 7: Jordan or birds, your ass should not be platting.
- 29:59Speaker 13: Yo.
- 30:02Speaker 7: If you was on the floor with Tracon McGrady, you
- 30:07Speaker 7: threatened your hair coming.
- 30:10Speaker 14: Shot block by shack unchild.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Blocked, You threaten.
- 30:14Speaker 10: Your dam recapped the weekend right after this, Thank you, Colo.
- 30:19Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:26Speaker 10: Over eighty million people were under winter weather alerts this weekend,
- 30:30Speaker 10: as there were significant snowfall reported in Texas, In Alabama, Georgia,
- 30:35Speaker 10: North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. More than three thousand
- 30:41Speaker 10: flights were canceled as airport struggled with icy runways, window conditions,
- 30:46Speaker 10: and low visibility. There were thousands of power outages reported
- 30:51Speaker 10: and down trees because of ice accumulation, but for the
- 30:54Speaker 10: most part, most people were prepared for the storm and
- 30:57Speaker 10: enjoyed playing in the snow for the first time in
- 31:00Speaker 10: years for Southerners. Now, Steve, I know you were traveling. Tommy,
- 31:04Speaker 10: I know you were. You got you were traveling. You
- 31:06Speaker 10: and your wife are traveling. How was it for you

- 31:27Speaker 11: ain't got no clear You got the.
- 31:29Speaker 12: Market looking at the lay, Yeah, you ain't got.
- 31:33Speaker 11: No t s a pre check line line until you
- 31:40Speaker 11: wait behind his line. Do not come across the line
- 31:42Speaker 11: to wed you.
- 31:43Speaker 2: We need you show your eyes.
- 31:47Speaker 9: Past.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Ain't nobody staying his born past.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Don't y'all bottle water?
- 31:51Speaker 11: He took Gucci bag out and put it on one of
- 31:55Speaker 11: the nasty toe trays so they can send it, so
- 31:57Speaker 11: they can send it through that thing, and look at it.
- 32:00Speaker 11: Ain't none of that with our travels. We had two
- 32:05Speaker 11: different travels.
- 32:07Speaker 3: You stop, all right.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Everybody better, everybody feel better. I did have the airport experience.
- 32:23Speaker 7: What do you mean public with Yeah, no, I saw
- 32:28Speaker 7: I saw some sugar honey iced tea. I didn't know

- 32:35Speaker 2: It was like. I was in another country somewhere. I
- 32:37Speaker 2: didn't know what. Yeah, you know, they had a line.
- 32:41Speaker 7: You had to read signs and stuff. Here's all this
- 32:47Speaker 7: is here, and you even got to go to the counter.
- 32:51Speaker 7: I found that fascinating. But what I got up there,
- 32:54Speaker 7: I didn't know what they was talking about. I said, man,
- 32:57Speaker 7: let me get over here and talk to some damn body. Yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 7: I not gonna talk to a person. This automatic stuff.
- 33:04Speaker 7: I ain't know what was going on.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I stood it that.
- 33:08Speaker 7: By the time I read all them directions and laid
- 33:11Speaker 7: this passport on it and slid it in, I was
- 33:14Speaker 7: scared they weren't gonna.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Give me mine back.
- 33:17Speaker 7: I was treating my passport like a bank card with
- 33:21Speaker 7: no money in it.
- 33:23Speaker 2: At me like that time in Baltimore. I remember the year.
- 33:26Speaker 7: Exactly, nineteen ninety six. I slid that damn fifth third
- 33:34Speaker 7: Bank card in Baltimore, slid it in there. All I
- 33:40Speaker 7: was trying to get out was sixty. I just wanted sixty.
- 33:44Speaker 7: I put in sixty dollars and it said card denied,
- 33:48Speaker 7: and they kept the card. I spent the night in
- 33:53Speaker 7: front of that bank till it opened in the morning,
- 33:55Speaker 7: and went inside to get my card back and found
- 33:58Speaker 7: out they don't controlled that.
- 34:03Speaker 2: So I had to leave Baltimore without.
- 34:06Speaker 7: My fifth third bank card that had gotten swallowed up
- 34:09Speaker 7: by the ATM machine.
- 34:11Speaker 2: And how was it you being noticed that?
- 34:15Speaker 12: That's what?
- 34:18Speaker 2: Oh dog, it was. It was just it was just
- 34:20Speaker 2: a minute, it was. It was.
- 34:21Speaker 7: It was like a like a magic show, like I
- 34:23Speaker 7: had come from behind the curtain. I looked like I
- 34:27Speaker 7: was on. I was on, let's make a deal prices, right.
- 34:30Speaker 7: I take curtain number three and it's Steve Harthy.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, so Steve, you the late man, Steve.
- 34:38Speaker 2: What's up man?

- 34:57Speaker 10: Alally gears here, guys and talk about Los Angeles and
- 35:04Speaker 10: what's going on in Los Angeles with all these wildfires.
- 35:08Speaker 10: They've ripped through so many communities, destroying homes, destroying businesses, cars, schools.
- 35:14Speaker 10: So many have lost everything they've worked for all their lives,
- 35:18Speaker 10: and the fires are still not contained.
- 35:21Speaker 12: That's the crazy part. There's still not contained.
- 35:23Speaker 10: The Pacific Palisades, Altadena and Malibu areas were the first
- 35:27Speaker 10: to be destroyed, and then the high winds carried burning
- 35:30Speaker 10: embers miles away to cause fires in other areas. We
- 35:34Speaker 10: are sending prayers, of course, to those affected, and if
- 35:38Speaker 10: you are interested in helping out those affected, you can

- 35:58Speaker 12: Yeah, it really really devastating, is you know what.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I didn't like.
- 36:03Speaker 15: I didn't like the comments that people are making and
- 36:06Speaker 15: comparing the classes of rich people losing things and people
- 36:11Speaker 15: just losing their homes. It just it was just heartbreaking
- 36:15Speaker 15: to see, we just need to come together, yes, and
- 36:17Speaker 15: hate each other and all to blame.
- 36:20Speaker 7: Hey, man, if you if you lose your home, rich
- 36:23Speaker 7: or poor, yeah, it's home periods and rich people hurt
- 36:30Speaker 7: just like poor people, just like regular people. People have memories, man,
- 36:34Speaker 7: in their home, people have, people want to go where
- 36:36Speaker 7: they raise their kids and stuff. This is not about class.
- 36:41Speaker 7: This is about humanity.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Man. There's some people out there have lost.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Man.
- 36:45Speaker 7: I felt so sorry for the people on camera that
- 36:48Speaker 7: lost their home, their memories.
- 36:49Speaker 2: That's crazy, man.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it is horrible.
- 36:53Speaker 12: It is all right.
- 36:54Speaker 10: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Donald Trump
- 36:57Speaker 10: has been sentenced to unconditional disc charge and its spelling.

- 37:52Speaker 10: It means that his conviction on the thirty four counts
- 37:55Speaker 10: of falsifying records will stand and he won't receive any
- 38:00Speaker 10: additional penalties.
- 38:01Speaker 12: That's what it means, unconditional.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:05Speaker 10: Yeah, So when Trump is sworn into office next Monday,
- 38:09Speaker 10: he will make history as the first commander and chief
- 38:13Speaker 10: of the US to have been criminal, criminally convicted, and sentenced.
- 38:18Speaker 10: After his sentencing, Trump used his true social platform to
- 38:21Speaker 10: blast the outcome. He posted, quote, today's event was a
- 38:25Speaker 10: despicable charade, and now that it is over, he will
- 38:28Speaker 10: appeal this hoax, which has no merit, and restore the
- 38:31Speaker 10: trust of Americans and our once great system of justice.
- 38:37Speaker 12: Make America great again.
- 38:40Speaker 7: There you go, Tada, Nothing's gonna happen to him. Nothing
- 38:45Speaker 7: never was gonna happen to him. I'm not disappointed in
- 38:48Speaker 7: the results because I'm not even surprised by the results.

- 39:11Speaker 2: I've never seen one man pull it off like this before.
- 39:15Speaker 7: So hats off to Donald Trump for pulling off something
- 39:18Speaker 7: I didn't know you could do. But now, guess what

- 39:47Speaker 2: to protest.
- 39:48Speaker 7: White people should have checked with us on how to
- 39:51Speaker 7: protest because they don't know how to do it. That

- 40:35Speaker 2: The vish.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, he needed to stay in there because he
- 40:40Speaker 7: wasn't even trying to hide who he was, and he
- 40:42Speaker 7: was ever so you know, one of the key elements
- 40:46Speaker 7: to riot.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Is is visibility. Low visibility. Stand it?

- 42:46Speaker 2: He tried to be killed with him.
- 42:48Speaker 16: You know it's on you now, you know whatever. I
- 42:52Speaker 16: didn't care. You know, I don't really care for politics

- 47:35Speaker 6: I'm actually calling from a company called Doors. Are you
- 47:39Speaker 6: Are you at the court?
- 47:41Speaker 13: Yes?
- 47:41Speaker 6: Correct? You guys just built that home right, Yeah, Like
- 47:45Speaker 6: I said, my name is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling
- 47:47Speaker 6: from a Doors. We're actually the company that uh supplied
- 47:51Speaker 6: the doors that are actually throughout your house.
- 47:54Speaker 13: Okay, great, what are you calling for a follow up?
- 47:56Speaker 6: No, this isn't a follow up. Actually, we're got a
- 47:58Speaker 6: couple of glitches we want to try and get straightened
- 48:00Speaker 6: out if we could find Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 48:04Speaker 6: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 48:07Speaker 6: built you all home, yes, has not paid for the
- 48:11Speaker 6: doors you guys have been there two and a half
- 48:14Speaker 6: months and we can't seem to get the contractor to
- 48:18Speaker 6: come in and pay for the doors. Try to call them.
- 48:21Speaker 6: We tried to call them several times and we have
- 48:23Speaker 6: not been able to wat enough for theb on him.
- 48:25Speaker 13: Because you don't have a good number, I can give
- 48:27Speaker 13: your number, because I really don't have anything to do
- 48:30Speaker 13: with that insact, how do you get my number?
- 48:33Speaker 6: Well, actually we had your number one file as the
- 48:35Speaker 6: homeowner and that's pretty much how we had you. But
- 48:38Speaker 6: the problem we're facing here, sir, is we've tried to
- 48:40Speaker 6: get this guy for the last couple of months and
- 48:43Speaker 6: we can't get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen
- 48:46Speaker 6: here in the next day or so is we're probably
- 48:48Speaker 6: going to have to come and get all the doors.
- 48:51Speaker 6: Oh noways they can do what. We're probably gonna have
- 48:53Speaker 6: to come and get all the doors in your house,
- 48:56Speaker 6: take them off and bring them back here to the
- 48:58Speaker 6: plant until we get get all my doors. We we're
- 49:01Speaker 6: gonna have to get those doors until either we get
- 49:04Speaker 6: a contractor or you know, we get paid for the doors. Now,
- 49:07Speaker 6: what could happen is you could pay for the doors.
- 49:09Speaker 13: No, No, no, already paid for the doors. That's that's
- 49:12Speaker 13: that's past tense. I've done that paid. You say, paying
- 49:16Speaker 13: that means I got.
- 49:16Speaker 6: To double back? Well, sir, we haven't been paid, sir
- 49:19Speaker 6: for the doors as well.
- 49:20Speaker 13: No, no, no, the contractor was paid for the doors.
- 49:23Speaker 6: That's who pays you. Okay, And what I'm trying to
- 49:26Speaker 6: explain to you, sir, we haven't been paid at all
- 49:30Speaker 6: here at doors now?
- 49:31Speaker 17: All all?
- 49:32Speaker 13: All, okay, Well I do what they should have received
- 49:36Speaker 13: a check from my contract And what.
- 49:38Speaker 6: I'm mean you, sir, is that that hasn't been done.
- 49:41Speaker 13: So since you have not been paid, you're gonna come
- 49:43Speaker 13: back and get my doors? Now, you said?
- 49:44Speaker 6: We?
- 49:44Speaker 13: Now, who's all this?
- 49:46Speaker 6: You?
- 49:46Speaker 13: Who are we gonna come?
- 49:47Speaker 6: Right? Here's the problem here?
- 49:49Speaker 13: Like I know, no, ain't no problems. We're gonna we're
- 49:51Speaker 13: gonna resolve this very peacefully.
- 49:52Speaker 18: But who is we?
- 49:53Speaker 6: Okay? So what's taking place here at my job is
- 49:56Speaker 6: they've taken this money out of my check that hasn't
- 49:59Speaker 6: been paid for the Oh yes, I can't understand that,
- 50:02Speaker 6: But why would they take it out of your check?
- 50:04Speaker 13: You did the mand hours, You've done your work.
- 50:06Speaker 6: Why don't I understand it, sir. But since the company
- 50:09Speaker 6: hasn't been paid, the company is taking it out on
- 50:11Speaker 6: me and it's not gonna come down on me. So
- 50:13Speaker 6: either I'm gonna get.
- 50:14Speaker 13: The doors, well, you need to cut your job because
- 50:16Speaker 13: they're gonna because they need to give you a uh,
- 50:19Speaker 13: not just give you a bonus, but give you some
- 50:20Speaker 13: hourly work. Because bottom line is you're talking about coming
- 50:23Speaker 13: to get my doors. Now that's not gonna happen.
- 50:26Speaker 6: Either we resolve this peacefully as if you pay for it,
- 50:29Speaker 6: or I come out and get the doors. No, I'm
- 50:31Speaker 6: not finish city and go back and way.
- 50:33Speaker 13: You need to go in and come get these doors.
- 50:35Speaker 13: Gas up and come get these doors. Because you're not
- 50:37Speaker 13: gonna come and get I'm not gonna send you no money, okay, sir.
- 50:40Speaker 6: Then what we need to do is get a schedule
- 50:42Speaker 6: time where I can come out and get all the doors.
- 50:44Speaker 18: Now, I'm on your time.
- 50:45Speaker 13: I'm sorry, I'm on your time now. So you got this,
- 50:47Speaker 13: you must be paying me now since I'm on your time,
- 50:50Speaker 13: what are you talking about? Because you're talking about you're
- 50:52Speaker 13: gonna set up a time with me. That means I
- 50:55Speaker 13: have to leave and do what I do to be
- 50:57Speaker 13: meet you here to get something don't belong to you,
- 50:59Speaker 13: which is my door.
- 51:00Speaker 18: You don't have to be there at all, because I'm
- 51:01Speaker 18: gonna say, I'm gonna be to come in and.
- 51:03Speaker 6: Take the front door off, and I'm gonna keep keep
- 51:05Speaker 6: moving through the house and get all the doors and

- 56:22Speaker 10: Thank you nephew. Subject, why can't I talk to my ex?
- 56:27Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley. My fiance and I have been together
- 56:30Speaker 10: for three years. I have two children from a previous relationship,
- 56:34Speaker 10: and he has one child. We have one together, giving
- 56:37Speaker 10: us a total of four children. Since the beginning of
- 56:41Speaker 10: our relationship, he has made it clear that I am
- 56:45Speaker 10: only allowed to talk to the father of my children
- 56:48Speaker 10: if it has to do with the children. That was
- 56:51Speaker 10: fine with me at first, but there are other times
- 56:54Speaker 10: that I need to talk to him because I'm the
- 56:57Speaker 10: property manager for three of his property It's my job.
- 57:02Speaker 10: My fiance hates it, but business is business. When it
- 57:06Speaker 10: comes to my fiance talking to the mother of his children,
- 57:09Speaker 10: they talk often. She calls him at least three times
- 57:13Speaker 10: a week to tell him the stupidest things, like if
- 57:16Speaker 10: she ran into a guy they both know, or if
- 57:18Speaker 10: she wants to gossip about someone they grew up with.
- 57:21Speaker 10: He said, it's a different situation with him and his
- 57:23Speaker 10: ex because they share a daughter and girls are different.
- 57:28Speaker 10: He said, my sons lived with my ex, so I
- 57:30Speaker 10: have no reason to be talking to my ex all
- 57:33Speaker 10: the time. I recently read some messages between him and
- 57:36Speaker 10: his ex and they were discussing me. He was telling
- 57:39Speaker 10: her that he loves me and I'm a good mother
- 57:42Speaker 10: and a hard worker. He assured her that he did
- 57:45Speaker 10: not cheat on her with me. I went off on him.
- 57:48Speaker 12: He told me that he owed her that conversation because
- 57:51Speaker 12: she still hurt.
- 57:53Speaker 10: I told him that when relationships end, people are hurt
- 57:57Speaker 10: and that's life, so she needs to get over it.
- 58:00Speaker 12: He still doesn't get it.
- 58:02Speaker 10: So now I talk to my ex whenever I need to,
- 58:05Speaker 10: and purposely walk out of the room to irritate my fiance.
- 58:09Speaker 10: He said, I'm not ready for marriage because I like
- 58:11Speaker 10: playing games. But what game is he playing?
- 58:14Speaker 12: So I can't talk to my ex but he can. Okay,
- 58:19Speaker 12: this is a mess right here. Do you see what's
- 58:23Speaker 12: happening here?
- 58:24Speaker 10: You guys are in no way ready for marriage. I
- 58:26Speaker 10: don't care if you have been together for three years.
- 58:29Speaker 10: You're too childish with this tit for tad back and
- 58:31Speaker 10: forth stuff and he's controlling in a sense with you
- 58:35Speaker 10: can't talk to your ex and all of that foolishness.
- 58:38Speaker 10: He's made up his own rules about it being different
- 58:40Speaker 10: between boys and girls, and about his ex still being hurt,
- 58:44Speaker 10: and that's why he talks to her. That's nonsense. He
- 58:49Speaker 10: just wants to do whatever he wants, but regulate what
- 58:51Speaker 10: you do in this particular situation.
- 58:54Speaker 12: A marriage is never gonna work like this, It just isn't.
- 58:57Speaker 10: I strongly suggest marriage counseling and couples and individual therapy
- 59:03Speaker 10: for you both. I mean, if not, you shouldn't even
- 59:05Speaker 10: bother walking down the aisland trying to get married to
- 59:08Speaker 10: this guy, because you'll be writing Steve and I again,
- 59:10Speaker 10: but this time.
- 59:11Speaker 12: The next time it'll be about your divorce. Because this
- 59:13Speaker 12: is not gonna work.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Steve Man, this is crazy right here. Well, let me
- 59:19Speaker 2: just go on and get to the letter. The tight letter.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Letter is this, Why can't I talk to my ex?
- 59:29Speaker 7: My response to that is cause it makes me throw up?
- 59:38Speaker 7: Why I can't talk my I could try, but I'm
- 59:46Speaker 7: a vomit so I don't you know, it's one of
- 59:49Speaker 7: the feelings I don't like.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I don't like you know how you feel when you
- 59:53Speaker 2: throw up, you kind of feel it coming.
- 59:55Speaker 7: You look at the little and your y'all, and you
- 59:58Speaker 7: regret me, and you start sweating a little bit, you know,
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: you know, when you're finished throwk you start sweating a
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: little bit because your mighty preparing itself for this. That's
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: what it's like if I talk to my ex so
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: I don't. I swear I don't talk to my expert.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: Then this lady got another problem. Uh, y'all been together
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: three years year and your fiance you got two children
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: from a previous relationship, and he got one child, and
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: then y'all got one together, y'all got four kids. And
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: since beginning relationship, he'd have told you that you're only
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: allowed to talk to the father of your children if
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: it's got to do with the children. Well, she said,
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: that was fine, but there are other times I need
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: to talk to him because I'm the.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Property manager for three of his property. It's my job. Well,
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: that is true, that is true. My fiance hates it,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: but business is business.
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: But what she said, when it comes to my fiance
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: talking to the mother of his children, they talk all
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: the time. She calls him three times a week to
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: tell him the stupidest stuff, like if she ran into
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: a guy they both knew, or she wants the gospel
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: about somebody they grew up with. He said, it's a
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: different situation with him and his ex because they share
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: a daughter and girls are different.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Boy.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: What boy, Boy, you're just coming up with ruthe Now, no,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: we got a daughter together. They girls is different.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: What man?
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: So, like, you know, y'all got boys, so y'all ain't
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: got to talk about raising them, right, But I got
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: this girl over here and I got to get involved
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: mode less and hear about this other stuff. And then
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: he told you that your sons live with your ex,
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: So I ain't got no reason to be talking to
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: my ex all the time.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: So damn dog.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: So this woman gonna just stop talking to the man
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: that has her two sons.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: I'm confused.
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: She said that I recently read some messages between him
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: and his ex and they was discussing me, and he
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: was telling the girl that he loves me and I'm
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: a good mother and a hard worker.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, you know, I don't know.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: You know the yo hump. Your man got custody of
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: the boys, right, But they gave him boys to they deck.
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: Hang on, Steve, hang up, we'll have part two or
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: whatever he says in the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I'm just throwing this in the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:02:39Speaker 12: We'll have part two of.
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: Your response coming up at twenty three minutes after today's
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: Strawberry Letter is subject why can't I talk to my Ex?
- 1:02:46Speaker 12: We'll get back into it right after this.

- 1:03:21Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: the subject why can't I talk to my Ex?
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: Well, like I told you before, if I were to
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: respond to the letter directly, why I can't talk to
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: my ex? It's simply because it make me throw up.
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: That's why I can't talk to my ex. Will I
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: just want to you know, we didn't you just say,
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: let's recap there.
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: That yes I did, I just say repeat.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: So I'm just trying to recap it. That's the reason
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: I can't talk to my ex because it makes me
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: throw up. I don't like when my jaws fill up
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: with that pocket to app you know how you and
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: then you get real hot.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: You know, when you fit to throw up, You get
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: real hoigh.
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: You start sweating a little bit, and then it feels
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: like it's coming, but it don't come, and you get
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: to little and I can't stand that.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Just come on out. I can't stand anyway.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I can't stand that fake throw up that they throw
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: on me.
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: You know, when you know where you being vomit, but
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: you don't vomit, you just eat it and then your
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: daddy stick your fringing down your throat. Already got enough
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: stuff back then now anyway, anyway, they they got these
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: kids together, and her she she has two sons and
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: her husband, her ex got custody of the boys, and
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: they have a son together now and he has a daughter.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: And he don't like when she talked to her ex,
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: But he talked to his ex all the time, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: the excuse he gave her, the reason he get to
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: talk to his ex all the time because they got
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: a daughter and daughters is different.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I said, I'll be damn. I didn't know you could
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: use that. So you can. You can use that. That's
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: a good one now though.
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: And so anyway, you know, she has also seen text
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: messages between the two of them, and one of the
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: text messages was saying he.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Really loves you and that he thinks you a good mother.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: But said says he loves you and you a good.
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: Mother and a hard worker and a hard worker.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: But then he told her that, and then he said
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: to her that he didn't cheat on her with you,
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: right right, And then you went off on him and
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: he told you he felt like he owed her that
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: conversation because she's still hurt.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Well, I got to give a damn about that. Man,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Your woman don't give a damn.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: She hurt.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: That's why y'all broke up. Because she hurt. You don't
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: owe her that conversation that it wouldn't you.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: And all that there.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: You know, man, women always talking about they gotta have clothes. Now,
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: y'all just on the phone talking about a whole bunch
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: of other stuff. Anyway, he said, you told her he
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: needed to get over it. He still don't get it.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: So now I talk to my ex whenever I need to,
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: and I purposely walk out the room to irritate my fiance.
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: He said, I'm not ready for marriage because I like
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: playing games. For what game is he playing? So I
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: can't talk to my ex but he can. Okay, Both
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: y'all in high school. Yeah, y'all in high school, and
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: y'all need to stop this twelve thirteen facade or whatever
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: y'all got going talking about. Y'all gonna get married, and
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: y'all two are at odds because y'all have children from
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: other relationships. It's called a blended family. No blended family
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: is perfect. It comes with problems. All blended families come
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: with problems. People can feel me when they talk the man.
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: We had a blended family. It's just beautiful.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: We all love each other. You might, but them damn
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: kids is a trip, and the other damn people is
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: a trip. All you all y'all should work on is
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: just you and her. But once you let other people
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: inside your two handed circle, you're gonna have problems. Where
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: I had to learn that personally. I can't make everybody
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: love each other. I can't make you be glad you
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: met them and all like this, go on about your business.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: But me and your mama, we gonna be good.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: Now, y'all got small children, I'm assuming, so y'all gonna
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: have to work through some things. But like right now,
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: y'all don't seem like y'all need to get married. Y'all
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: need some counseling. And you very rarely hear me recommend counseling,
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: very rarely, very rarely. I'm not really a therapy type.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Ask Yeah, I'm not really. I'm not a therapy ass dude.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: I'm just gonna go and be real with you. You know,
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: I've had people ask me to a tend therapy with them,
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: not my wife, but because my wife know I ain't going.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: But I've had other people that I have relationships within
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: my family currently because you know, the these young ass kids,
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: they believe in therapy. But I talked to this crazy
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: and that's cool if that's what you.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Need to get through. I got prayer. I pray my
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: way out of stuff.
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: So and that ain't for everybody, but I know I
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: know a woman a partner's wife of mine has been
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: with the same therapist get this for twenty five years.
- 1:08:34Speaker 12: Twenty five years, the same therapist.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: And I said, oh, that sain't a therapist. You just
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: got a homie, y'all. You just paid two hundred and
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: fifty hour to go in there and talk to your girl.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: You must y'all just go. Y'all going to have wine
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: and stuff, because if you if you ain't goxed, if
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: you ain't got it fixed in twenty five years, I
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: don't think y'all trying to fix it. Y'all just down
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: there sharing information. And she said, but she raised my kids,
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: She know all my kids everything. I said, See, that's
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: when it does you just a weekly appointment. But therapy
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: is good for some people, and some people get really
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: a lot of stuff out of therapy. And it's good
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: for you to go and talk to somebody that ain't
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: for me.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: And that's alls.
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: But I think this people need to go to therapy
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: because obviously they and skipped over the prayer part.

- 1:13:24Speaker 5: Junior.
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: Lady needs some advice Steve on dating a man that
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: she's uh that said he'd never get married.
- 1:13:30Speaker 12: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:37Speaker 12: Here we go, Steve.
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: This one is from Trina in Ocean Springs. Trina says,
- 1:13:42Speaker 10: I have had a crush on my best friend for
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: over twenty five years, but he said he would never
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: get married or be with just one woman for the
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: rest of his life. I respected that, so I made
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: sure we never crossed the line so I wouldn't get
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: my feelings hurt. He changed his two when he found
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: out that I was dating someone and we're about to
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: move in together. Now he wants us to be more
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: than friends. And he said he is older and wiser
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: now now he's changed his mind. He said, I'm the
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: love of his life. And so she wants to know
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: how did he decide finally, after all of these years,
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: that I'm the one for him?
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: Well, because before you wouldn't you because you wasn't making
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: a move. You know, he just had you in his scope.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: You know, y'all ain't crossed the line. But the conversation
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: that came up and you're telling us you never crossed
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: the line. Now, how all of a sudden you become.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: The love of his life. Well, a couple of things.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: His ass is old now, and he'd have found out
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: that you know, he might never just be with one woman,
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: but he can't find one woman that just want to
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: be with him. You know, he'd have found that out
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: real fast too, now, you know. And it just it
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: just comes to time when all these old ass horses
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: got to walk on in the bond and now it's
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: bond time for him, and you'd have made a move
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: somewhere else, and you're talking about going on with something else.
- 1:15:10Speaker 7: Now you tossed up. Now you could take a chance
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: with this guy, or you may have to realize that
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: this guy.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: That wants you now he could be the one. Now
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: this sudden coming.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: To the realization after twenty five years and you've been
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: attracted to him this whole time. So what I told
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: y'all about that friend stuff, we're not even gonna go
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: into that. I told you all about it. Damn near
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: every show we got to have a conversation about some
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: friend that found out they wanted to do them, Like,
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: what's the damn surprise?
- 1:15:45Speaker 12: Oh, you sound like a parent right now, for real?
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: What is the surprise? Though? Yes, yeh, twenty five years
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: now he wanted to do me. You be one, but
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: enough a man and he yeah, he's jealous too well.
- 1:16:03Speaker 7: Now see the most the finest woman in the world
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: is your ex on the arms of another man. I'm
- 1:16:18Speaker 7: gonna say it again, the finest woman in the world
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: is your ex on the arms of another man. Now
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: except for me in my case, that's not the case.
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: Please get somebody, please please leave me or thank you
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: in Jesus.
- 1:16:42Speaker 12: All right, we have time for another.
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: One because you get married right now, stay married.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Please.
- 1:16:52Speaker 10: This is what is from Sinco and Hateville, U Thinko writes.
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: My wife gets on faced time or speakerphone whenever we go,
- 1:17:02Speaker 10: and she is so loud and embarrassing. I slid her
- 1:17:06Speaker 10: phone out of her purse and put it in my pocket.
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: The other day while we were out. It was ringing
- 1:17:11Speaker 10: and she panics because she couldn't find it. I gave
- 1:17:15Speaker 10: it back after we got home, and she called me
- 1:17:17Speaker 10: evil and controlling. All I wanted was a quiet day
- 1:17:21Speaker 10: with her without phone calls. Am I controlling? That's what
- 1:17:24Speaker 10: Sinco wants to know when they go, when they go
- 1:17:29Speaker 10: out stuff when they go out.
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: Yeah, he just took the phone. He just wanted to
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: quiet evening with his girl's and that's hard to find.
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: She ought to be appreciative of that, but she obviously
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: she likes to be entertained on Facebook and TikTok and
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: you know, people calling and all like that.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: You know it down people who are addicted to that stuff. Man,
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: think about it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: Do you know how many people wake up in the
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: morning and first thing they do is grab they phone.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: He started taking phone.
- 1:18:00Speaker 10: Yeah it's too speaker, fam just loud face time, face time.
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: Ah, got it.
- 1:18:13Speaker 12: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:16Speaker 12: Thank you, Steve.
- 1:18:17Speaker 10: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:18:43Speaker 10: no eating out all of this, no coffee if you
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: drink coffee, none of that. Okay, But obviously things like groceries,

- 1:24:43Speaker 1: love y'all, I love it.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, my closing remarks.
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: You know, I just came back from celebrating my father
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: in law's ninetieth birthday and I was sitting at the
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: table next to him, and I said, man, what a blessing.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: To live ninety years. Man, ninety years.
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: And he still got a measure of health. You know,
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: he has a little dementia, but he's you know, he
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: ain't never forgot me. He still know his daughter and
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: his wife and his kids. So you know, it's just
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: got little issues, but man still laughing. Stuff like that.
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: Really a blessing. But you know what, I was sitting
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: up there and I was coming home, and I thought about,
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: you know what I'm gonna do this year. I've always
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: done it, but I'm gonna be really conscious of it.
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: I'm gonna make sure because but my driver and security
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: guard that was in Memphis, he says, Steve, you said
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: something on the radio a long time ago in one
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: of your clothes remarks that stuck with me. He said,
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: make sure you wake up every day and fill your
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: day with effort. He said, Man, do you know man,
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: that I made that my mantra and it changed my life.
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: He said, I wake up every day and fill my
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: life with my day and my life with effort. And
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: I want to encourage people to do that. Man, to
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: make sure that you're not in the words of my daddy,
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: burning daylight, wake up and make every day count because
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: when you put forth an effort every day towards your aspirations,
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: your goals, your dreams, towards your family's happiness or success whatever.
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: When it's like making a deposit, it's like planting seeds.
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: It's putting stuff in the ground that's gonna come up later.
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: It's putting stuff in the bank that you can withdraw
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: on later. Make an effort every day to do something
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: positive and put in as strong an effort as you can,
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: so at the end of the day you fall asleep
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: exhausted from the effort you put in in your day.
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: See you know, man, God's gift to us is he
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: gives us our gifts and our talents. Our gift back
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: to God is the use of those gifts and talents.
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: That's how you say thank you for something that you
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: don't even deserve. All of you have a gift from God.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: And you have this gift.
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: You didn't even ask for it. You just have the
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: ability to do something extremely well.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: All of you do.
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: Your use of that gift is saying thank you to God.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: It's returning the favor. Put forth an effort in your life, man,
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: to do something today. And maximize your effort. Stop letting
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: days go by. Well you ain't done nothing you send them,
