- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do you understand that?
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you God been big in my life. I'm
- 2:18Speaker 1: not gonna kid you. I'm telling you in here do
- 2:20Speaker 1: the same thing for you. God. God is a gentleman,
- 2:24Speaker 1: you know. I want to I want to point that
- 2:26Speaker 1: out to you. God is an absolute gentleman. He will
- 2:31Speaker 1: not come in unless he's invited. He don't just barge
- 2:36Speaker 1: into your life. He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, if you say you got it, I don't
- 2:44Speaker 1: need you, He let you have it. If you say
- 2:47Speaker 1: I need you, come see about me. He right there.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It's just a real simple thing. Man. So always say
- 2:55Speaker 1: to people this if you've gotten yourself into something, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: please know I have. I was stuck. I thought a
- 3:06Speaker 1: couple of times, well, might not make it past this one.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But then if I don't make it past it, what's
- 3:14Speaker 1: gonna happen? And then I held on to this little
- 3:18Speaker 1: thing that my mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes,
- 3:22Speaker 1: so when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:26Speaker 1: she said, Just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
- 3:33Speaker 1: is the beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there
- 3:37Speaker 1: a possibility out there for me? I sure hope something happened.
- 3:45Speaker 1: See hope, hope it's okay, man, Because like I say,
- 3:50Speaker 1: for me, the way I've lived my life, hope was
- 3:53Speaker 1: the beginning of faith. It was just the idea. It's
- 3:56Speaker 1: just the thought that something could change from me, that's
- 4:00Speaker 1: something could be a little bit different from me. That maybe, man,
- 4:04Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:08Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:12Speaker 1: in the other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say
- 4:20Speaker 1: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the
- 4:23Speaker 1: times I've been in that position. But then once I
- 4:27Speaker 1: hope a little bit, and then I remember also my mother,
- 4:29Speaker 1: because she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me
- 4:33Speaker 1: the most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.
- 4:39Speaker 1: She taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when
- 4:41Speaker 1: it get real dark for your son, prad changes things.
- 4:45Speaker 1: She said, when you seem like you lost and you
- 4:48Speaker 1: can't finding your way, stop and pray, she said, because
- 4:53Speaker 1: prad changes things. You know, when you get a point
- 4:56Speaker 1: in your life when you've done all you can do
- 4:58Speaker 1: and you can't do no more and you just don't
- 5:00Speaker 1: know what to do next, she says, stop, suh, pray
- 5:05Speaker 1: and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:10Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:13Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying that
- 5:16Speaker 1: God come through for you, that will give you confidence
- 5:19Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
- 5:21Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, she's saying, you start believing. She's saying,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 5:28Speaker 1: that hope into belief that hope into faith, the ability
- 5:34Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 5:37Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from
- 5:45Speaker 1: me Now, I'm pretty sure, Like I say oftentimes to
- 5:47Speaker 1: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
- 5:49Speaker 1: a lot better than I can to you, but just
- 5:52Speaker 1: from my side of it being as real as I
- 5:55Speaker 1: can be rich. See, hope helps. Man. If you ain't
- 5:59Speaker 1: strong enough to have faith, have hope, and then if
- 6:02Speaker 1: you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
- 6:05Speaker 1: then that hope gains a little confidence and after a
- 6:09Speaker 1: while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't just hoping, but
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 6:26Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 6:30Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 6:34Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 6:39Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 6:43Speaker 1: your faith. See a lot of people get the word
- 6:46Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 6:50Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 6:53Speaker 1: out here, but really an essence. Man. When I talk
- 6:56Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
- 7:00Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:06Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:29Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:38Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:42Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:51Speaker 1: started to notice, see, it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 1: people think blessings is money, and now man, that ain't it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plane land safe. It's
- 8:02Speaker 1: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:05Speaker 1: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
- 8:13Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 8:16Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know something.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Somebody say, hey, Man, I don't know, but I sent
- 8:24Speaker 1: this to you. I thought you might be interested in it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Somebody has sent me a scripture or somebody has send
- 8:29Speaker 1: me something that's favor, and it always comes at a
- 8:34Speaker 1: time when I need it the most. That's favor, that's
- 8:38Speaker 1: pouring out blessings. Now I'm also the recipient of a
- 8:43Speaker 1: lot of other blessings too. You know, I've been blessed
- 8:46Speaker 1: with health. That's amazing blessing. Man. I've been blessed with
- 8:51Speaker 1: a spirit of not quitting. I've been blessed with the
- 8:55Speaker 1: ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See, blessings come
- 9:01Speaker 1: a lot of ways. But once you tie into God,
- 9:06Speaker 1: once you tie in and you start doing the best
- 9:09Speaker 1: you can do, and you start asking for him to
- 9:12Speaker 1: make you a better person, to help shape and mold
- 9:16Speaker 1: you into the kind of man or person that he
- 9:19Speaker 1: wants you to be. You be amazed what God can
- 9:22Speaker 1: do with you. Man, if you just invite me in
- 9:24Speaker 1: and allow him to be a part of your life.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I mean, what you got to lose out there? Come on,
- 9:30Speaker 1: if you're sitting in the cell this morning, why why
- 9:33Speaker 1: would you not change? You have a chance to turn
- 9:36Speaker 1: your life around. With a relationship with God. What you're
- 9:39Speaker 1: waiting on? Are you gonna just keep doing it like that? Huh? Really?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Come on, man, why would you do that to yourself?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Why would you not allow God to be a part
- 9:49Speaker 1: of your life so you can get the way He
- 9:51Speaker 1: want you to be. God got some big plans for you.
- 9:54Speaker 1: If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking upw Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: The time has arrived for the beginning of a new day,
- 10:09Speaker 1: a new week, a new show. So I ain't don't
- 10:12Speaker 1: need to holding it off because it is upon us
- 10:17Speaker 1: as we speak, the time we are talking about. It's
- 10:21Speaker 1: called rat Now, Ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morner Show
- 10:26Speaker 1: about to pop off. Rat Now, Shirley Strawberry, Good morning,

- 11:24Speaker 1: a pause. I mean that's all you go. That's the best. Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I think you know the bulls person on the show.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It's hard work, people, really is whatever. I'm so glad
- 11:38Speaker 1: God gave me the career he gave me because I
- 11:40Speaker 1: would not have made it in corporate America. It ain't wait.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I've been sitting up in the meets man because when
- 11:46Speaker 1: I worked for I was sold insurance man. We used
- 11:48Speaker 1: to be in meetings. I'll just be sitting in my head,
- 11:51Speaker 1: just be to the side. Why what are you talking about?
- 11:57Speaker 1: I don't care about this. We're gonna go over the
- 12:02Speaker 1: company results for the quarter. It ain't my company. Dog
- 12:10Speaker 1: was difficult to dog, it didn't. That didn't make no
- 12:13Speaker 1: difference to me. Man, what what the company did for
- 12:16Speaker 1: the quarter man? Whereas my damn checking that man? I
- 12:22Speaker 1: sold this much? Issuing? Man? Can I have my man?
- 12:24Speaker 1: How how much do I get? That's a man? I
- 12:31Speaker 1: can of high well the company doing what my check
- 12:34Speaker 1: man he ain't shouldn't have been And dog, this ain't
- 12:39Speaker 1: even my life. It's not when you turn the table
- 12:43Speaker 1: over or something Oh yeah, that's that wasn't gonna work.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I had sold all right, man, I had ordered a
- 12:49Speaker 1: seventy eight cutless my commission. What's gonna I was gonna
- 12:56Speaker 1: be able to get that cutless? Yeah. I went to
- 12:59Speaker 1: the people's house three times. A lady said, this is great.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I just want you to meet my husband. I explained
- 13:04Speaker 1: that to this white dude. He said, that's great, We're
- 13:07Speaker 1: not gonna get it. And I had bought the white
- 13:12Speaker 1: staring whill wrap for my cutlers. That's all I had
- 13:16Speaker 1: to mark. He said, we're not gonna get it and
- 13:20Speaker 1: made me understood. I stood up at that kitchen table
- 13:23Speaker 1: and turned that little table over. I got to work
- 13:27Speaker 1: the next day. Everybody was looking at me when I
- 13:29Speaker 1: walked in. Got it, you're fired. You had to give
- 13:35Speaker 1: your cutlers back. Coming up at thirty minutes, actually the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: asked the CLO. Right after this, you're listening to all right, guys,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time anything else anybody wanted to say about
- 13:50Speaker 1: their weekend, because now we're ready, it's time to ask
- 13:55Speaker 1: the CLO. All right. This one is from Dashalla. She
- 14:04Speaker 1: listens on our podcast. She says, I have three children,
- 14:07Speaker 1: and my husband told me he wants me to get
- 14:09Speaker 1: back to the sexy woman that he married. With three
- 14:13Speaker 1: children under ten, there's no time to be sexy. I
- 14:16Speaker 1: usually throw on a wig or a hat when I
- 14:18Speaker 1: leave the house. My husband hates that I love wearing
- 14:20Speaker 1: sweats and shirt dresses because the clothes cover up my
- 14:23Speaker 1: great figure. I couldn't care less. I had finally had
- 14:27Speaker 1: enough of his criticism, so I lit into him and
- 14:30Speaker 1: it started a big argument. He said he was only
- 14:33Speaker 1: telling me that for my own good. I feel like
- 14:36Speaker 1: he's out of line. But should I consider his opinion?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Am I being too defensive? Well? I think he could
- 14:43Speaker 1: have approached it maybe a little bit differently. I think
- 14:47Speaker 1: he has every right to want more from you, but
- 14:50Speaker 1: then you have every right to not be able to
- 14:53Speaker 1: give more. You didn't gave three children. I mean, damn,
- 14:58Speaker 1: that's a big To have three children is a lot.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I just don't think the average man knows what that is,
- 15:05Speaker 1: how taxing it is. And then to be a real
- 15:09Speaker 1: mother is to care about every aspect of the child's life,
- 15:12Speaker 1: which men don't. Sorry but we don't. And so, yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I want you to get back to this little sexy
- 15:19Speaker 1: being you was. Well, then he got to start helping out.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You know, you gotta get somebody in here that can
- 15:26Speaker 1: clean and somebody in here that can cook. That all
- 15:28Speaker 1: free up a lot of time. Then you need somebody
- 15:30Speaker 1: here to help with this damn homework at a free
- 15:32Speaker 1: up some more time? Do you need somebody to take
- 15:34Speaker 1: them to all these little games and practice and after
- 15:36Speaker 1: school's activity? See this ye half time? It's three kids
- 15:41Speaker 1: under ten, So you should consider what he's doing. But
- 15:44Speaker 1: you got to explain to him what all you do.
- 15:47Speaker 1: And if he don't get that, then you should have
- 15:50Speaker 1: him take over the duties that you're doing, all of
- 15:52Speaker 1: them so he can get a glimpse of it. Yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 1: great answer. I love that answer. And if yeah, it's
- 16:00Speaker 1: all in your delivery sometime, all right? Oh FRIEDA and
- 16:04Speaker 1: DC says, I'm a thirty four year old single woman
- 16:07Speaker 1: and I'm attracted to a man that is a little overweight.
- 16:11Speaker 1: We hang out together and flirred, but when he talks
- 16:14Speaker 1: about us dating, I get scared because of his weight
- 16:17Speaker 1: and what people might say. I like bigger men, but
- 16:21Speaker 1: my mother and my sister are very judgmental. I would
- 16:25Speaker 1: have to be. I would hate to be embarrassed on
- 16:28Speaker 1: a date. If someone stares at us or makes a
- 16:30Speaker 1: rude comment, should I follow my heart even if I
- 16:33Speaker 1: have doubts about this guy? Yeah, you should follow your heart.
- 16:37Speaker 1: But let me ask you question. Know how big is
- 16:43Speaker 1: talking about people looking at you embarrassed little overweight? Well,
- 16:47Speaker 1: but she says she liked bigger men. How much bigg
- 16:50Speaker 1: are we talking? But really, if that's what you like,
- 16:55Speaker 1: then to heck with your mom and your sister. Yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 1: he might be a great guy, treat you really, really wonderful.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But now it's gonna be something coming to weight now,
- 17:05Speaker 1: but you know, cooking, like you know, like you got
- 17:08Speaker 1: to think about you know, sleeping and you know waking
- 17:11Speaker 1: up and you know rolling over and then you know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: like he'd be laying in then you fall in that
- 17:16Speaker 1: crease and then he forgets you. There he rolled over
- 17:19Speaker 1: your ass and smoke. There's a lot of stuff right here.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And then weight. Yeah, you know, the big people got
- 17:26Speaker 1: your snows. Skinny people snow too, But when you got
- 17:29Speaker 1: the weight on you, you really gonna snow, you know.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So if I was you, I'd go on to date
- 17:36Speaker 1: the guy. You might be a great guy. You can
- 17:39Speaker 1: get him to lose weight. You can get a man
- 17:42Speaker 1: to lose weight. You can't turn nothing dude into a
- 17:45Speaker 1: great guy, though, So if you got a great guy,
- 17:48Speaker 1: help him with the flaw. You know you should say
- 17:51Speaker 1: that again. Well, I mean it's real simple. You can
- 17:53Speaker 1: take a guy with a flaw, you can help him
- 17:55Speaker 1: with his flaw. You can't turn a nothing guy into
- 17:58Speaker 1: a great man. But you can take a great man
- 18:00Speaker 1: with a flaw and help him with the flaw. You
- 18:03Speaker 1: can get him to eat right, tell him you love
- 18:05Speaker 1: him more. Why don't you put the proposal to him?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Why don't you say, Hey, look, i'd love to consider
- 18:10Speaker 1: taking this, but I really want you to be healthy
- 18:13Speaker 1: because I don't want to fall in love with a
- 18:15Speaker 1: man that's not gonna be here. So let's start dating.
- 18:19Speaker 1: But I want you to actively work on eating better
- 18:21Speaker 1: because I want to be healthy. I want to live
- 18:23Speaker 1: a long life. If you present that to a man,
- 18:26Speaker 1: he'll go, WHOA wait a minute, I get this chick
- 18:28Speaker 1: if I just start eating baked chicken instead of fried chick.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Because she says she's attracted to him, yeah, he's just
- 18:37Speaker 1: a big sexy right now. That's a good, big off thing.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And that's a treat from from love sexy. She did
- 18:45Speaker 1: not say all of that. Why don't you get all
- 18:51Speaker 1: of that out of a little overwey? She worried about
- 18:56Speaker 1: what people gonna say when they see each see him
- 18:58Speaker 1: with each other. That's what it is. That's embarrassing. That's
- 19:02Speaker 1: that's that's that's embarrassment fat. There's no such thing. It
- 19:10Speaker 1: is what All right, we're moving on. Did you say
- 19:16Speaker 1: all you needed to say a little overweight? All right?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Great to say that. James in a small town, that's it,
- 19:26Speaker 1: just in a small town, says I'm a twenty seven
- 19:29Speaker 1: year old man, and I had an ugly breakup with
- 19:31Speaker 1: a woman I dated for three years. I cheated on
- 19:34Speaker 1: her a few times, and she broke up with me.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Since then, she's told everybody that I'm terrible in the bedroom,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and I'm the tiniest man she's ever been with. I
- 19:46Speaker 1: feel like every girl has heard the rumor, and I
- 19:49Speaker 1: know for sure all of my boys have. My uncle
- 19:52Speaker 1: said when he was young, one of his friends was
- 19:54Speaker 1: called tiny because his wife told everyone in town that
- 19:57Speaker 1: he was tiny. How I stopped this before it gets worse? Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: you got to move dog a small town. Yeah, you're
- 20:10Speaker 1: not feeling to fix that? You need to get up
- 20:12Speaker 1: into a big city. You didn't go from small town
- 20:15Speaker 1: to big city. Your reputation is gone. You ain't ever
- 20:19Speaker 1: getting it back. You ain't ever getting it back. The
- 20:23Speaker 1: only way you can get it back you you ain't
- 20:25Speaker 1: gonna be able to do that. That's what he gets
- 20:27Speaker 1: for cheating. You got to release photos online, shop edited
- 20:33Speaker 1: photos yourself. You know, biker shorts with big prints in it.
- 20:38Speaker 1: That's what you're gonna have to. Yeah, you got to
- 20:41Speaker 1: move that Lanta home. All right, Celo, thank you so much.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Great as usual. Coming up next, Church Complaints with Rebend
- 20:51Speaker 1: Motown and Deacon def Jam. Right after this, you're listening

- 22:00Speaker 1: oh jack part joint of Jerusalem. Here is the bipartisans
- 22:07Speaker 1: of essence of complaints that is bringing him now none
- 22:11Speaker 1: other than the barbit you with himself. I say that
- 22:18Speaker 1: I don't like BABBITU with him. Okay, I see what
- 22:25Speaker 1: you're trying to do. Donate on this vocabulary, deacon, but
- 22:30Speaker 1: you you side what he was doing. It's to play
- 22:33Speaker 1: on what he strong. Vocabulary is strong. Let's get down
- 22:37Speaker 1: to it. Because a lot of these complaints this morning
- 22:41Speaker 1: and that have been sent in about you as usual,
- 22:47Speaker 1: it's come to our attention that your church has got
- 22:49Speaker 1: a big stimulus Chick, what do you plan on doing
- 22:53Speaker 1: with it? Well, we're gonna stimulate the church with it. Man,
- 23:00Speaker 1: what what? What? What what does that mean? Well, we're
- 23:04Speaker 1: tired of looking like the poish church in the city,
- 23:09Speaker 1: So we're gonna start by parking a new vehicle in
- 23:13Speaker 1: front of the church. And where that new vehicle be
- 23:17Speaker 1: coming from? Din, I just tell you that you was
- 23:21Speaker 1: getting a large stimulus check for the church. For the church,
- 23:26Speaker 1: the church is gonna purchase a new vehicle, so to
- 23:30Speaker 1: start with the hour of the piers, that we got
- 23:33Speaker 1: more going on inside than actually is, and who would
- 23:37Speaker 1: be driving this car? I will of course again that's
- 23:46Speaker 1: for starters with the stimulus chicken buying a car with
- 23:50Speaker 1: the church. And then if there's any money left, we're
- 23:53Speaker 1: gonna buy at least half the quiet new roles. Everybody
- 24:04Speaker 1: with rolls on in the other half ain't gonna hand on. Well,
- 24:07Speaker 1: what well hell they have singing? You wrote for that?
- 24:15Speaker 1: That's you along here. We also found out that you
- 24:18Speaker 1: have been have been after our parties. Why the church
- 24:23Speaker 1: has been closed, we needn't know that. We also found
- 24:26Speaker 1: out that you was also charging it did mission. How
- 24:28Speaker 1: much money have you made with these after our parts?
- 24:31Speaker 1: I have been opening up the church for after our
- 24:35Speaker 1: sessions with a cover charge, and all the money is
- 24:40Speaker 1: going towards the building food. So really that's You're not
- 24:48Speaker 1: gonna be able to look at me in my face
- 24:50Speaker 1: and think I might believe that. Now you're trying to
- 24:52Speaker 1: tell me you didn't you didn't got this money. You've
- 24:55Speaker 1: been making this money. Didn't nobody know you was doing this?
- 24:58Speaker 1: And what do you mean session? What is a sessions?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Hardest I'm doing after our counseling for Waywood and Bereath.
- 25:09Speaker 1: People who don't come to church. No, they say it's
- 25:16Speaker 1: music blasting and people are parting in there. You got
- 25:18Speaker 1: to get him in here some kind of way. Now,
- 25:24Speaker 1: the churches for the sick and the best way to
- 25:26Speaker 1: get six people that have a club. You might not
- 25:31Speaker 1: be seeking him, but he surely is looking for you.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Preached out next yourself. Oh y'all. Oh, they want you
- 25:44Speaker 1: to talk to our sister Tania Jobs. Now, the late
- 25:48Speaker 1: sister Tania just had a set of twins about two
- 25:50Speaker 1: weeks ago. We want to congratulate latter, but I guess
- 25:53Speaker 1: due to the situation that we were we are in.
- 25:56Speaker 1: He named these twins covidine and vaccine, cobadine and vaccins
- 26:05Speaker 1: and vaccinine, and it's just band passing. We want you
- 26:08Speaker 1: to talk. Mabe gonna leave these babies names as they is.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Women have found various levels of inspiration when they have
- 26:19Speaker 1: children or that's the birth of a Lexus Cities or
- 26:26Speaker 1: Sister Gail d Lexus and Mercedes because she always wanted
- 26:31Speaker 1: a Hiend automobile. They didn't get it, but she got
- 26:34Speaker 1: to two children, so that's what the inspiration was. So
- 26:40Speaker 1: codine and vaccine it's gonna have to stay. Brother Patterson
- 26:46Speaker 1: had two boys last week and he named one of
- 26:49Speaker 1: them Fiser and the other one Moderna. It's all so
- 26:55Speaker 1: it's here. The city is what it is, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 1: all right. There's another lady that had another church, had
- 27:09Speaker 1: a boring girl, twins, and one of them is named
- 27:12Speaker 1: Vina and the other one was later. Okay, bro for that,
- 27:20Speaker 1: all right, Brother Lennard Davis, he needs our help. He
- 27:26Speaker 1: he died his bed and then he put his mask
- 27:28Speaker 1: on too early. Now the mask is one other thing.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I had one other set of twins that was born
- 27:37Speaker 1: and they're not identical either. Any the just names is
- 27:42Speaker 1: going crazy. There's a set of twins in Brunswick, Georgia.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Their names is a pandemic in quarantine, pandemic and quarantine,
- 28:00Speaker 1: not either male or female. Baby. I didn't know, but
- 28:05Speaker 1: they're not identical. He didn't. You're like that's always been saying,
- 28:14Speaker 1: always mind your p's and quay who dropping knowledge yourself?
- 28:23Speaker 1: All right? Let me know what you want to do
- 28:24Speaker 1: with our brother, Like I said, brother Lenna, David died
- 28:27Speaker 1: his bed and got his mask stuck on it and
- 28:29Speaker 1: that won't come off, and he is he can't eat
- 28:32Speaker 1: nothing or nothing because the mask is stuck to his face.
- 28:34Speaker 1: So how do you want to help this man? Will? Oh,
- 28:39Speaker 1: that's terrible. That could also be a good lesson for
- 28:42Speaker 1: one of our letters that we had on the CLO
- 28:46Speaker 1: she's dating a heavy setting man and she's embarrassed buying.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Maybe if she put a mask on his face, his
- 28:54Speaker 1: fat ass could trim up. That's a good weight loss program,
- 28:59Speaker 1: and especially if you put the mask on wat gorilla glue. Well,
- 29:05Speaker 1: thank you, Pat. Coming up on the top of the
- 29:13Speaker 1: our Entertainment and National News right after this, you're listening
- 29:18Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. In today's Entertainment News. First, Carla,
- 29:25Speaker 1: Carla is in here with today's music news. I'm so
- 29:28Speaker 1: excited about this. Go ahead, Carla, all right, drumroll please, Dave,

- 30:35Speaker 1: killed it crusted. Did you say you heard Earth Winning
- 30:41Speaker 1: five s versus the damn Osley Brothers? I did. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: said that April fourth. You're talking about the Osley Brothers
- 30:51Speaker 1: that has twenty three platinum albums, the baby one. You're
- 30:59Speaker 1: talking about that damn living legend himself, Ronal Osley. Yes, sir,
- 31:05Speaker 1: who is the personal friend of mine? Yes, sir, I
- 31:10Speaker 1: guess the greatest damn group ever the elements of the universe.
- 31:20Speaker 1: When and so I know about what? What? How do
- 31:24Speaker 1: you think the Bad Lot of Gold Charlotte Name name name,
- 31:30Speaker 1: name a song by any of them, and I'm gonna
- 31:32Speaker 1: tell you what they're gonna come back with. Uh, let's
- 31:35Speaker 1: see um. Okay, between the sheets, between the sheets, loves Holiday, Okay,

- 31:52Speaker 1: Make me saying it? The game game reasons okay? I
- 32:04Speaker 1: mean the ass is batting? Yes, pick up the pace
- 32:09Speaker 1: a little bit? What you want? Okay, groove tonight. Let's
- 32:12Speaker 1: groove tonight. Let's groove tonight. No, that's Earth winning five. Yes,
- 32:20Speaker 1: that's what you fired. Oh I thought you were talking
- 32:23Speaker 1: about then, Isa Brothers, I want to grow September fight
- 32:36Speaker 1: the power. Yeah, yeah, Okay, this battle it's gonna be ugly.
- 32:43Speaker 1: There will be no winner in this versus. I'm gonna
- 32:48Speaker 1: tell you right now, that's really shocking because the Osley
- 32:55Speaker 1: Brothers hits h Yeah. Yeah, You're not gonna be able
- 33:00Speaker 1: to shut them down. Who's a lady five lady they
- 33:10Speaker 1: got It's I'm gonna just be on it. I'm going
- 33:15Speaker 1: to the versus where fire for that be sitting there
- 33:22Speaker 1: with one of my old last suits. I'm going there
- 33:26Speaker 1: and be dressed like oh Bruno Mars and uh Anderson
- 33:31Speaker 1: Pat Well, Trip, I want to watch that one too.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is Antrip with the News. Thousands
- 33:41Speaker 1: of people demonstrated against anti Asian violence over the weekend
- 33:44Speaker 1: and cities across the country. There are also some black
- 33:47Speaker 1: and Asian anti racism rallies in several cities, including New
- 33:50Speaker 1: York City. Meanwhile, FBI Director Chris Ray says that from
- 33:53Speaker 1: where he sits, it doesn't seem like the killings of
- 33:55Speaker 1: eight people in three Atlanta area massage parlors were racially motivated,
- 33:59Speaker 1: even though all but two of the victims where Asian
- 34:01Speaker 1: women and another victim was Hispanic. However, Illinois Democratic Senator
- 34:05Speaker 1: Tammy Duckworth, one of the only two Asian members in
- 34:08Speaker 1: the Congress, says, on CBS's face, the nation ends differently.
- 34:11Speaker 1: It looks racially motivated to me. I have actually sent
- 34:14Speaker 1: a letter to Director Ray and to Attorney General Garland
- 34:18Speaker 1: asking for a deeper investigation into crimes that involve Asian
- 34:23Speaker 1: Americans to see how many crimes have actually been underreported
- 34:26Speaker 1: as hate crimes, and US Attorney Merrick Garlands says his
- 34:29Speaker 1: office is looking into that Miami Beach remains under a
- 34:32Speaker 1: state of emergencies. Authorities say that spring break crowds have
- 34:35Speaker 1: been cramming the beaches, trashing some restaurant property, and inviolation
- 34:39Speaker 1: of the Miami Beaches Emergency eight pm to six pm
- 34:42Speaker 1: six am curfew. All this on the heels of the
- 34:45Speaker 1: state of Florida's decision to lift all COVID nineteen restrictions,
- 34:48Speaker 1: including mask wearing. City officials have been urging tourists and
- 34:51Speaker 1: hotel guests to stay indoors, especially in the evening. However,
- 34:54Speaker 1: the Miami Day Black Affairs Advisory Committee is pointed to
- 34:57Speaker 1: what they say has been an unnecessary overuse of force
- 35:01Speaker 1: against people of color, down the ecops using a swat
- 35:04Speaker 1: truck and pepper balls and sound cannons instead of employing
- 35:07Speaker 1: simple crowd control techniques. In fact, one thousand people have
- 35:10Speaker 1: been arrested in Miami Beach for disorderly conduct. The Chicago
- 35:14Speaker 1: suburb of Evanston, Illinois, about to become the first usc
- 35:18Speaker 1: to offer preay reparations to black residents whose families suffered
- 35:22Speaker 1: lasting damages due to decades of racial discriminatory practices in Eviston,
- 35:26Speaker 1: from home ownership to business ownership. The Everston City Council
- 35:29Speaker 1: already committed to ten million dollars to the effort, to
- 35:32Speaker 1: vote later on today to begin dolling out four hundred
- 35:34Speaker 1: thousand dollars in payments. And finally, some new research looks
- 35:39Speaker 1: a little kooky when you first hear it, so here goes.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Researchers say that if you sleep easier, you will sleep easier.
- 35:46Speaker 1: And this is the crazy part. If you worry about
- 35:48Speaker 1: caffeine keeping you up, I don't know if the guy
- 35:53Speaker 1: sounds pretty drowsy there. According to a new study, regular
- 35:55Speaker 1: caffeine consumption does not actually disrupt sleep, but consuming caffeine,
- 35:59Speaker 1: even for a short period of time can actually change
- 36:01Speaker 1: the volume of cognitive gray matter. All this stuff means
- 36:04Speaker 1: that you might actually go to sleep. Now back to
- 36:06Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Mornings. You're listening. I've been waiting. It's
- 36:12Speaker 1: been more than a week or so. A resident poet
- 36:15Speaker 1: is back with a brand new poem. It is springtime.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Let us Yeah, it is the first day of spring.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Shows you a right. I wrote a poem by spring. Yes,
- 36:27Speaker 1: But before we get to the poem, I would like
- 36:28Speaker 1: to wish Janathony Brown a happy birthday. He's not birthday,
- 36:34Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, just one sad birthday, Jeff thinking about thank
- 36:37Speaker 1: you for being my writing pot. And I appreciate you, Jay,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and I loved And this poem here is Firthday Springs

- 37:08Speaker 1: it come it, come and go, come and go, So
- 37:10Speaker 1: you gotta get it. So here it go. First day spring,
- 37:14Speaker 1: it's the first day in spring, ringa ding ding. Time
- 37:19Speaker 1: to go outside and hit the robbing sceing with your
- 37:22Speaker 1: mask one. Play some flowers, go to the lake. But
- 37:26Speaker 1: whatever you do, keep your mask one. For goodness sake.
- 37:29Speaker 1: It's time for short sleeves and dresses and fat biker
- 37:33Speaker 1: vessels because that's gonna come out in the spring. So
- 37:36Speaker 1: the first day spring, ring a ding ding, go outside,
- 37:40Speaker 1: hit the robbing scene with your mask one the end?
- 37:43Speaker 1: Got it it? Wo? Got it? Ring here baby, I'm
- 37:50Speaker 1: talking about don't I'm talking about making the announcement spring here?
- 37:54Speaker 1: Got it? Didn't that? What did you hit the rigga
- 37:58Speaker 1: d ding through that in? Just let you that Ryan
- 38:00Speaker 1: was spring Yeah, because sen Car, that's all where I
- 38:03Speaker 1: put it in there, because Ryan was springing? Did like that?
- 38:07Speaker 1: What junior of your poetry normally? But what was the
- 38:12Speaker 1: fat biker vest? Yeah? I think about it because you know,
- 38:15Speaker 1: you have to think about people dressing up with short
- 38:16Speaker 1: sleeves and dresses and fat biker vests because you're gonna
- 38:19Speaker 1: see a lot of that this summer's Yes, vests, you know,
- 38:24Speaker 1: like the vestus, they don't fit on the more than
- 38:28Speaker 1: one you talk about the motorcycle riding. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:36Speaker 1: you come out there's more than one shell. Everybody on
- 38:43Speaker 1: it fats. Yes. You couldn't even say right now, you
- 38:50Speaker 1: couldn't get out. Y'all have vests in here because you
- 38:54Speaker 1: want to make sure they have a varide. You don't

- 39:33Speaker 1: String Show. Well, there's a lot of trending music news today.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Did you guys hear that Anita Baker has asked her
- 39:42Speaker 1: fans not to buy her music because she's in a
- 39:46Speaker 1: battle with her record company for her masters. Okay. Anita
- 39:49Speaker 1: has posted a number of tweets stating that she has
- 39:52Speaker 1: outlived her contract and that her masters, uh those are
- 39:56Speaker 1: the ones that she rightfully owns, are not in her possession.
- 40:01Speaker 1: According to Yahoo dot com, music experts are saying that
- 40:04Speaker 1: Anita Baker is referencing the copyright reversion, which allows musicians
- 40:10Speaker 1: to retain their copyrights after thirty five years, but some
- 40:13Speaker 1: say that law doesn't mean that reversion is immediate or automatic. Well,
- 40:18Speaker 1: Anita Baker is sixty three years old, and she says
- 40:21Speaker 1: the time is up until she regains those copyrights. She
- 40:25Speaker 1: is asking her fans to avoid buying these albums. Listen
- 40:29Speaker 1: carefully the song Stress, Rapture and Compositions. Uh. Those albums

- 44:47Speaker 1: it's the nephews turn. He's here with the prank phone call.
- 44:50Speaker 1: What you got next for? No? Hey, hair weaves? Oh? No,
- 44:57Speaker 1: hair weeds. Okay, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Resa,
- 45:05Speaker 1: please reesa. Hi Resa. My name is Byron, Byron from
- 45:10Speaker 1: the job. How are you. I'm okay, how are you buying?
- 45:12Speaker 1: I'm good. Listen. I hate to call you after hours
- 45:15Speaker 1: at your home, but there has been some new issues
- 45:18Speaker 1: that will be going into effect. That was just tomorrow morning,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and we're calling everyone letting them know the new changes
- 45:25Speaker 1: that have been issued that will take effect first thing
- 45:28Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call, So don't
- 45:31Speaker 1: be alarmed. It's just giving a call letting you know
- 45:33Speaker 1: what the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay,
- 45:37Speaker 1: there's no problem to listen. Okay, as up tomorrow, what's
- 45:40Speaker 1: gonna happen is when you guys come in, you'll be
- 45:42Speaker 1: issued a new key card, and that particular card will
- 45:45Speaker 1: actually registers when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
- 45:49Speaker 1: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 45:52Speaker 1: any personal internet at the job any longer. You won't
- 45:56Speaker 1: be able they're actually putting a block on all computers.
- 45:59Speaker 1: All the computers will no longer be able to go
- 46:01Speaker 1: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
- 46:04Speaker 1: to that you've been um that's been available here in
- 46:07Speaker 1: the past. Okay, okay, all right. The last one is
- 46:11Speaker 1: reesa do you, um, do you wear a hair weave?
- 46:14Speaker 1: What do you wear a hair weave or a wig? Yes? Okay,
- 46:19Speaker 1: Well here's one thing and hopefully you can get this
- 46:22Speaker 1: change about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair or wigs
- 46:26Speaker 1: gonna be allowed at the job site from this point on.
- 46:30Speaker 1: So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their
- 46:33Speaker 1: natural hair. You're joking. Uh No, These are the issues
- 46:38Speaker 1: that are going to be that are in stated, and
- 46:40Speaker 1: these are going to take effect as of tomorrow morning,
- 46:42Speaker 1: seven o'clock. What does hair weave to have to do
- 46:45Speaker 1: with any of these changes? The first two I can
- 46:47Speaker 1: understand punching in and being on the internet. Yes, that's
- 46:51Speaker 1: something that that corporate. But hair weave and weas do
- 46:55Speaker 1: you get an interchanging? Are they're looking down upon it?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Wigs and hair weaves they have to go. So I'm
- 47:04Speaker 1: assuming that if you, like you said, you do have one,
- 47:08Speaker 1: it doesn't come out taking it down now and prepare
- 47:12Speaker 1: your hair to be natural as you come in to
- 47:14Speaker 1: work tomorrow. I'm not taking my hair down. I've been
- 47:16Speaker 1: here seven years and I've dealt with all the changes
- 47:19Speaker 1: that y'all have made. But there's no way that I'm
- 47:21Speaker 1: taking my hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron? Yes?
- 47:25Speaker 1: My name is Byron, and I'm sorry. Let's get back
- 47:29Speaker 1: to your weave. This has you're gonna have to do something.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Is there someone that you can call tonight to help
- 47:34Speaker 1: you get your hair down and so you can look
- 47:36Speaker 1: presentable with your natural hair tomorrow. No, my weave calls
- 47:40Speaker 1: over two three hundred dollars and I'm not about to
- 47:43Speaker 1: take that down. I mean, it takes them long to
- 47:45Speaker 1: them to take that down. Okay, I mean, is this
- 47:49Speaker 1: something Maybe you can take it down and just wear
- 47:51Speaker 1: it on the weekends because as of now, you're not
- 47:54Speaker 1: going to be allowed to actually wear it on the property.
- 47:57Speaker 1: And how will you know if someone has a weave
- 47:59Speaker 1: or not? Are you gonna do head checks or something? Okay, ma'am,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do to check it,
- 48:05Speaker 1: but by you telling me that you you have a weave,
- 48:10Speaker 1: then I have to write it down that you have
- 48:12Speaker 1: confirmed that you do, and we got to make sure
- 48:14Speaker 1: that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one. But you don't
- 48:17Speaker 1: know what my natural hair looks like from my weave.
- 48:20Speaker 1: You heard how much I pay for it, so it's
- 48:22Speaker 1: a good weave, ma'am. It's not about how good you
- 48:26Speaker 1: know the quality of your weaver or anything. They don't
- 48:29Speaker 1: want it. They want natural hair. I don't know what
- 48:31Speaker 1: that means. But they're going natural, they're going green, they're
- 48:34Speaker 1: going natural. I don't know what it is. They're going natural,
- 48:37Speaker 1: and so are you. Tomorrow morning, you need to come
- 48:39Speaker 1: in with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm gonna do it.
- 48:43Speaker 1: I'm not checking my weave now. Okay, what is that
- 48:46Speaker 1: y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am. Do
- 48:48Speaker 1: you not want your job? Yeah? I want my job,
- 48:50Speaker 1: But this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have a dress coach and enforcing
- 48:57Speaker 1: a dress code, that's one thing. But telling somebody to
- 49:01Speaker 1: change that you emotion your mind. Man, You're crazy. Man.
- 49:05Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I have other people that I have
- 49:06Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is get your hat out and
- 49:10Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow, and let's not go
- 49:12Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, well, listen, buy ranch. You're
- 49:16Speaker 1: a low mind. If you're thinking I'm taking my weave,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Risa is coming up
- 49:23Speaker 1: in there with her hair and I'm gonna sit down
- 49:25Speaker 1: at my desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have
- 49:28Speaker 1: to drag me up that have some weave? You lost
- 49:31Speaker 1: your mind? You and your powers that be or whoever
- 49:34Speaker 1: they may be. You tell them that I said that. Women, women, listen,
- 49:38Speaker 1: Are you telling me that you're coming in regardless with
- 49:40Speaker 1: your hair on? Right? That's what I just said. Okay,
- 49:45Speaker 1: are you then then we need to Why don't you
- 49:48Speaker 1: go ahead and bring some boxes in because you may
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm not you bring this man, I don't want to
- 49:54Speaker 1: have to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
- 49:57Speaker 1: and you're losing your job because you can't take it. No,
- 50:00Speaker 1: you can do that, because I'm an Call the news
- 50:02Speaker 1: station and tell him you're dragging me out of go
- 50:04Speaker 1: behind some weeds. Who wrong? You're wrong, You're wrong, You're stupid.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Are you gonna? You need to watch your language on
- 50:12Speaker 1: the lady, Well, I need to watch my language. I'm
- 50:13Speaker 1: at home. You call me on my own home phone
- 50:16Speaker 1: and my time. I'm at my house. I'm not on
- 50:19Speaker 1: your flock. I say what I want to say on
- 50:21Speaker 1: my phone. Okay? Can I say what I want on
- 50:24Speaker 1: my phone? And then I'll let you go and you
- 50:25Speaker 1: can come into the work anyway you want to tomorrow?
- 50:28Speaker 1: What is it, Bob? And what else you got to say?
- 50:30Speaker 1: I want to I want to tell you that your girlfriend,
- 50:34Speaker 1: Jennifer at your job got me to plank phone call you.
- 50:37Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show.

- 50:50Speaker 1: is this is nephew Tommy baby from the Steve Harby.
- 50:53Speaker 1: More than your Jennifer, your co worker, got me to
- 50:55Speaker 1: prank phone called. You got my blood pressure up. I'm
- 50:58Speaker 1: gonna kill it and I'm gonna pull a whole weave out.
- 51:02Speaker 1: You want to come down there and watch me dragged
- 51:03Speaker 1: her out of the job blood pressure. You can't be
- 51:09Speaker 1: doing that to me behind my weave. I pay too
- 51:11Speaker 1: much money. I definitely want to spend on my kids.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Oh I ain't nothing like a black woman in her
- 51:16Speaker 1: hall oh man, okay, baby, I got one more thing

- 54:00Speaker 1: Cynthia Arrivo starred as Aretha. She's excellent. I must say
- 54:05Speaker 1: she can, and yes she can, and she nailed it,
- 54:10Speaker 1: she really did. I can't wait to see the upcoming
- 54:13Speaker 1: um episodes. Courtney Bevans, of course, played her dad, Reverend
- 54:18Speaker 1: Seal Franklin. So I mean it's good, it's really good.
- 54:23Speaker 1: It's eight I think it's eight episodes surely, so they're
- 54:25Speaker 1: gonna do it over four nights spans, so it's some
- 54:30Speaker 1: multi part series. Like Shirley was saying earlier. It's good though.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I watched her last night. Go sit the favorite singer Aretha. Yes, remember, yeah,
- 54:38Speaker 1: we were all in Paris when we found out that
- 54:40Speaker 1: she had passed away, and they were celebrating her in

- 55:32Speaker 1: Subject am I in an Open Relationships? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'm a thirty six year old married woman and my
- 55:39Speaker 1: husband just turned forty, So we went on a weekend
- 55:43Speaker 1: getaway to Las Vegas with another married couple that we
- 55:48Speaker 1: have known for years. We got to our hotel suite
- 55:51Speaker 1: and we were drinking and eating and having a good time,
- 55:54Speaker 1: just the four of us. The guys went down to
- 55:57Speaker 1: the bar around eleven PM for a nightcap. I was
- 56:00Speaker 1: so tipsy and tired that I decided to lie across
- 56:03Speaker 1: my bed until my husband came back. I woke up
- 56:06Speaker 1: around three a m. And my husband was not in
- 56:09Speaker 1: the bed. I found him asleep on the couch and
- 56:13Speaker 1: a girl was lying under him, almost hidden by his body.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I shook her first and then him. They both had
- 56:22Speaker 1: on their clothes, but I demanded some answers. He said
- 56:25Speaker 1: She followed him upstairs because he wanted her to have
- 56:28Speaker 1: a threesome with us, but I was passed out drunk.
- 56:32Speaker 1: I started screaming so loudly I woke up the other couple.
- 56:36Speaker 1: They came running out, and a woman came out of
- 56:39Speaker 1: the room with them. My husband took me into our
- 56:42Speaker 1: room and he told me that they all had a
- 56:44Speaker 1: sex party, and he tried to wake me up, but
- 56:47Speaker 1: I was out of it. He said he enjoyed himself,
- 56:51Speaker 1: but he didn't go all the way with any of
- 56:53Speaker 1: the women. He said he fooled around with the other
- 56:56Speaker 1: wife that came with us, and her husband didn't care
- 56:59Speaker 1: because they've always had an open marriage. Before we got married,
- 57:03Speaker 1: my husband and I had a manage twap, but that
- 57:07Speaker 1: was eight years ago. Now I feel guilty since I
- 57:10Speaker 1: allowed this to happen before. I don't talk to the
- 57:14Speaker 1: couple we went to Vegas with anymore, but my husband
- 57:17Speaker 1: is still friendly with him. Am I in an open marriage?
- 57:20Speaker 1: Please help? Well, honestly, no, you're not in an open marriage.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I don't think you're in an open relationship. I think
- 57:29Speaker 1: your husband thinks he's in an open relationship, and he
- 57:34Speaker 1: can't say it's because of what happened eight years ago.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Don't even let him try that one, because things change,
- 57:40Speaker 1: people change, And if you guys, you know, I haven't
- 57:43Speaker 1: had any kind of sex with other people since then,
- 57:45Speaker 1: I would say that that part of the marriage is over,
- 57:49Speaker 1: or the relationship is over. But maybe it's not with him.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Obviously it's not with him. Maybe it was always in
- 57:55Speaker 1: the back of his mind. He just needed the proper setting,
- 57:59Speaker 1: you know, to make that happen. I don't think this
- 58:04Speaker 1: was premeditated. I'll say that maybe the excessive alcohol is
- 58:08Speaker 1: to blame. But either way, he and your friends have
- 58:12Speaker 1: some explaining to do. They really do. Because you feel betrayed,
- 58:16Speaker 1: you're mad, you're upset, you feel disrespected, and by all means,
- 58:20Speaker 1: if you're against open marriages and swinging and najtois now
- 58:25Speaker 1: and all that stuff, well you gotta let your husband know.
- 58:28Speaker 1: He just can't assume, you know, just because you all
- 58:31Speaker 1: go to Vegas together and get drunk, you know that
- 58:35Speaker 1: you could just bring a woman into the room. You
- 58:38Speaker 1: can't do that in a marriage. He should know you
- 58:41Speaker 1: better than that. And that's where I followed him. I
- 58:43Speaker 1: follow him, of course for doing it, but just assuming
- 58:46Speaker 1: that you'd be okay with it. Yeah, he should know
- 58:50Speaker 1: you better than that. And you're definitely not in an
- 58:54Speaker 1: open marriage. And I think if he wants to continue
- 58:56Speaker 1: being married to you, he's got to make that clear
- 59:00Speaker 1: that you're not in an open marriage. And I don't
- 59:02Speaker 1: blame you for not speaking to the other couple, Steve.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I don't know what letter you read. The question is
- 59:13Speaker 1: am I in an open relationship? The answer is your
- 59:16Speaker 1: ass is in a wide open ass relationship in this
- 59:21Speaker 1: ain't no marriage. Am I in an open relationship? No,
- 59:25Speaker 1: ma'am You in a wide open, wide open relationship. Everything
- 59:32Speaker 1: in him, your thirty six year you and your husband
- 59:35Speaker 1: he turned forty. Y'all went to Vegas with another married
- 59:37Speaker 1: couple that y'all have known for years. Yeahn't know him
- 59:41Speaker 1: that good. We got that hotel room, were drinking and eating,
- 59:46Speaker 1: having a good time, just the four of us. The
- 59:49Speaker 1: guys went down to the Body eleven for a nightcap.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Who lead a room at eleven in Vegas? When you
- 59:56Speaker 1: leave your room, I'm Vegas man. I've been going to Vegas,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: one of my favorite places when I was running. And
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I left my hotel room at eleven it was to
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: partake in the nightlife that is Vegas, cigars, drinking, and women.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Well at first two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Am I in an
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: open relationship? Is the subject of today's Strawberry letter. Will
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to show?
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: All right? Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Question and subject? Am I in and open relationship? Am
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I in an open relationship? Lady? You in a wid
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: open relationship? You and your marriage is so open it
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: don't even have a do own it normal? This thing
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: you just you in a cave. You with a cave
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: with an opening. Matter of fact, it is really just
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: a tunnel because it's an opening after back too, because
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: you can come and go as you please. Yes, you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: went one you forty thirty six forty y'all went on
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Vegas weekend with another man couple known for years. We
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: got our hotels, were drinking and even having a good time.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Just the four of us guys went down to the
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Body eleven pm for a nightcap. Just the dudes went
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: downstairs for a nightcap. Didn't y'all say, y'all was upstairs drinking.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Y'all were just upstairs drinking. We're going down stairs for
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a nightcap. Ain't saying nothing about gamblet, which is the
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: main attraction of Vegas. No, they told you we're going
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: to get a nightcap. I was so tipsy and tired
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: that I decided to lie across from my bed until
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: my husband came back. Now, Shirley said in her response,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: which could be true that you could blame the alcohol
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: for some of this. Well, but let's really think about
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: the power of alcohol, because I'm gonna show you some
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: things that alcohol can't do. First of all, I woke
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: up around three am and my husband was not in
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: the bed. Alcohol can do that. You ain't in the bed.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: At three o'clock, I found him asleep on the couch.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Alcohol can do that. But here's why alcohol can't do.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: And a girl was lying under him. What see to
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: get the girl under you? You can't be drunk. You
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: have to talk her into coming upstairs. Alcohol don't do that,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: suave pimp player lines. Get the girl to come upstairs,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: and I'll go a little further that and was laying
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: almost hidden by his body. I shook her first, and
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: then him what no no, no, no no, no, no, no no.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I don't see how you got to wake up first,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: But anyway, that's you. They both had their clothes on.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: But I demanded some answers. What see, you're in an
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: open marriage. You find your husband in your hotel room,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: laying on top of a woman on a couch, and
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you upstairs, and you demanded some answers, what answer are
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you looking for? He laying on top of a woman's sleep.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: What answer could he have given you to fix it?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Let's see, he said she followed him upstairs because he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: wanted her to have a threesome with us. You know why,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: because he thanked y'all in an open marriage. But he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: talked a woman into this. She came upstairs. But I
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: but you was passed out drunk. Now this is where
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: the confusion starts. I started screaming so loudly that I
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: woke up to other couple. Now, alcohol don't wake you up.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Alcohol make you fall asleep. But you just screamed so
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: loud that you woke through a couple up. They came
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: running out, and a woman came out the room with him.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: It's sixty y'all in there. Now, it's six people in
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the same hotel suite white an alcohol that in this hill.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: My husband took me into our room and told me
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: that they all had a sex party. What they all
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: had a sex party? And he tried to wake me up,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: but I was out of it. He said he enjoyed himself.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You know why he said that because he in an
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: open marriage. So whilst was that we had a sex party,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I would have never told that. I have left it
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that I bought up here for the threesome. You fell asleep.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I fell asleep on top of her. End of it?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: What am I telling you? We had a sex party
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: for unles as I'm thinking. We in an open marriage.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: He said he enjoyed himself, but he didn't go all
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: the way with any of the women. What he said,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: he fooled around with the other wife that came with us,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and her husband didn't care because they've always had an
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: open marriage. What stop blaming this so alcohol. These are conscious,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: consensual decisions that's made by six adults before we got married.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: My husband, I had a manage a tire or you
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: ain't had just one m This is what this is
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: what she ain't telling the truth? You ain't had just one,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: but that was eight years ago. Now I feel guilty
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: because I allowed this to happen before. I don't talk
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to the couple with the Vegas with anymore, I guess not.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: But my husband is still friendly with him. Hell, ye
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: ain't friendly with him. Fooled around with the man's wife.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Am I in an open relationships? Help? Yes, you are
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: in an open relationship? And you want me tell you
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: why you're in an old relationship? Because this is your reaction,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: your reaction to this whole thing is to write a letter.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You're in an open relationship because you're still married to him.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: You're in an open relationship because you bought into the
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: whole idea, and you're now even blaming yourself for this
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: to even happen. How did this become any of your
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: fault if y'all had more than one manage atoire? So
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: he thinking it's just power for the course. He know
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what the other couple was because he didn't talk to
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: his dude about it. That's why the four of them
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: came together. He went downstairs because he noticed what the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: dude do. Yes, lady, you in an open marriage all
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: day long? All right? Thanks Steve. Post comments on today's

- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Talk Junior. What you got, oh, Shirley listening and swack
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: football news. Coach Prime and the Jackson State Tigers suffer
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: their first lost Saturday to the Alabama State hornt Its
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: thirty twenty eight. Man, you saw the game time, I
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: saw the game. Good game, good game. You know they
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: last minute. It was a tight game though. You know,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: well you know that started man Primes run. His running
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: back stepped out of bounds on a run. He scored
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: on that one and they had to call that one
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: back called it. They in it. He three and one.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Prime in there. He's still in there. Man. Well after
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the game, Alabama State troll Coach Prime, Now they posted
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: to pitch the Din Sanders from his nineteen eighty nine
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: NFL Draft day on the jumbo score board. Man, yeah,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: they had to do that. Man, he just a coach,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: but he not playing. Just lost. That was it. You
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: don't have to do the Prime like that. So coach
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: PROBM said the trolling incident was childish. Now do you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: guys think that's poor sportsmanship? Yeah? You know, but I
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: mean what what what? Prime? Yeah, he the coach, exactly,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: He just the coach. He didn't play the game. He
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: just coached the game. They lost this they first lost,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I know, you know, but you know it's Prime. He's
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: in college. He's in college football. That's how they're gonna
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: do it. So this is this is Alabama State is gloating.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. They put a picture of him
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: from the nineteen eighty nine draft. They put it on
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: the scoreboard and played, must be the Money. You know
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: that's wrong, man, you ain't had that jam though. Back
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: in the day it was must be, must be he
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: must be the money? Prime? Go ahead, man. So Jesson
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: State's next game is at home on April third against
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Southern University. So you all, I knew is and we
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: ain't got but one more game. That's it, our game
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: April third, that's our last game. We played three games.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: This ain't even the fool football season. Three games, no
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: scrim shape. Yeah yeah, that's gonna be the third game.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, we're done after that. Okay, that's it
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: my band three game. We're gonna call it the whole season. Okay, yeah,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: we're done after that. But U man, hanging there, Prime,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: hold your head up, Man, we still live you over here.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I know I'm going to a game for getting that.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: I'm going I'm going to a game. You're gonna go
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: to the PV game. Oh girl, Oh, it's gonna be
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: harder then. I know we'd be the only two in
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: our perfect perfect gold called making the most Noise, Yeah,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: screaming yea looking Dad and Mississippi Monica. Though, looking on
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: the other side, I feel like I don't know, like
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I don't work. Who's saying hi? Mark? Yeah? All right,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: thank you, Junior. We're moving on now. Coming up at
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Motivation Monday it is, and
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: we'll tell you about a seventy eight year old powerlifting champion.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: it is Motivation Monday, and we gotta tell you about
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Miss Norah Langdon. Missus Laura Langdon is not your average grandma. Listen.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: It's seventy eight years old. Nora is a powerlifting champion.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Did you hear me. She is a powerlifting champion who
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: hopes to inspire others that it's never too late to
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: get healthy. She works out at the Royal Oak Gym
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: in Detroit several times a week. Her fitness began back
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: in two thousand and seven, when she weighed over two
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: hundred and ten pounds. With each gym session, she got
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: stronger and stronger. She was building her strength. She is
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: a retired real term so she was gradually losing her weight.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Now she's ranked one of Michigan's best powerlifters in her
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: age group. She holds dozens of state, national, and world
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: records through her competition with the American Powerlifting Federation. She says,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I beat everyone from sixty years old up to my age.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I have no competition. I love her governance right and
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Nora has no plans to slow down. In fact, she's
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: preparing for an upcoming competition with a goldlifting of with
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: a goal of lifting over a thousand pounds, something that
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: hasn't been done in her age bracket. Remember she's seventy
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: eight years old. She said, it keeps me motivated and
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: that's why I go. I'm strong now. I take no medication.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I'm in good health, and that's where I want to stay.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Congratulations to you. That is wonderful. Yeah. So Steve, I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: know you're into fitness. You're into that. Yeah, and you're ageless, right,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: And why is it so important to you to be fit?
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I mean, well, listen, I mean only the two most
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: important things we have our time and our health. If
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you out of either one of those, you're in the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: world of trouble. So I do. I made a conscious
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: effort to start investing in my health, just like I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: invest in my clothes. Yeah, you know, I'm always worried
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: about how to outside of me. Look, I mean, man,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it's kind of crazy not to take care of the inside.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: And it doesn't take a lot, it really really doesn't.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: You know. People talk about like, for example, you talk
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: about eating organic food and stuff, and you go to
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Whole Foods and get organic food and stuff like that,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: and then people start talking about the cost of organic foods. Well,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: let me ask you something. What you think more organic
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: foods or prescription maids. So if you are what you eat,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: and like a doctor told me, he said, Steve, what
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: you eat in your forties, we would diagnose for you
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: in your fifties what we diagnosed for you in your fifties,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: we would treat you for in your sixties. And whatever
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: we're treating you for in your sixties, we will bury
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you for in your seventies. Oh, a doctor told me
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that here it is again. What you eat in your
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: forties we would diagnosed for you in your fifties. What
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: we diagnosed for you in your fifties, we will treat
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: you for in your sixties, he said. And whatever we're
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: treating you for in your sixties, we will bury you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: for that in your seventies. So I started thinking. I said,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, I gotta do better. Yeah, that
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: doesn't mean you have to stop eating some of the
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: foods you love all together, but you've got to reduce
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: the amount of it that you eat, and you've got
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to increase the amount of food that's good for your body. Yeah,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: and you can. You can't. Look, you can't turn back
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: the hands of time, but you can definitely slow the
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: aging process. With exercise, stretching, yoga, and with the food
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: you eat. You can slow it down. You don't have
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: to just sit there and let age come take you away.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: That's my new initiative called Ageless. I'm telling you It's
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: gonna be great. I'm gonna sure a lot of people
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: want I spend money to figure out and off here
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: to you wig, you than what I Paige appreciate that. Yeah,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: thank you, endless Nora out of Detroit at seventy eight
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: hour lifting. All right, so we'll have more of today's
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: trending story on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, coming back
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: pay close attention to this. Okay. Following the announcement of
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: his new partnerships with Adidas and Gap, several outlets were
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: quick to crown Kanye West the richest black man in
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: American history, stating his net worth to be six point
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: six billion with a B dollars. Here's the problem. Forbes
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: points out his net worth is closer to one point
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: eight billion, and that these estimates are based on quote
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the magical thinking around sales that don't yet exist. Okay,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: for him to be the richest black person in the US,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: you know, they have to have all those sales and
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: all of that to make him, you know, that biggest,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: the richest person actually for the Record, Vice, the Equities,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Robert F. Smith. Robert Smith. It's worth six billion dollars,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: making him the richest black person in the US, right, Steve,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: He's actually worth more than that. You know. It's amazing
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: how people do it. Look, Kanye is making a great
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: deal of money. Let's mate, this is not hate at all.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Let me share something with you, and this is from
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: talking with people with money. If you got eight hundred
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: million dollars and a dude got a billion dollars, that
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: nothing he came by that you came by nothing. That's nothing. Good. Yeah, nothing,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I'll take it. Nothing. And you really don't know his
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: real that's the affair conversation. And congratulations to Kanye. I'll
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: take the check. Yeah, all right, thank you Steve for
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: clearing that up. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show

- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and of course we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: to show all right, guys, here we are last break
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: of the day on this Monday, first Monday in Spring
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: twenty twenty one one. As Junior so eloquently stated earlier
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: this morning in his poem, his poem, I yes, I
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: don't know what y'all was at I did eloquently. Yes,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: ringer ding ding is not andsnessis. Yeah, the best the
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: bestnesists did bother me. I have to admit that it did.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: It did. Junior wrote a poem about Spring. Yes he
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: did the first yes, yes, first day maybe on social
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: media Instagram. Unbelievable and why not? And why not? I
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: mean doing me unbelievable like Alabama say. And before we
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: get out of here, guys, we have to say happy
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: birthday to our colleagues. Steve's one of your bestest friends,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: your best friend Jay Anthony Brown. It is his birthday.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Mofa all good. Yeah Monday, it was quick Monday. Yeah,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: it was. It was fun. It was fun. I like Mondays. Anyway, Hey,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: you know something in my closing remarks, I want to
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: ask a question because I was thinking about this, you know,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I was just thinking about that, the hate crimes against Asians. Yeah,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: here is the question, and this is kind of my
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: closing remarks, but I'm kind of opening up this as
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: a question too in this country. I'm talking about the
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: United States of America. Yeah, why is it that people
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: who aren't quite have to always be subject to hate
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: crimes by some whites who are white? You know, I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: was just thinking about that in my own way country. Yeah,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: but in this country, why is it simply because you're
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: not white that you have to be subjected to some
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: form of hate crime, racist or bigotry by some And
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I'm saying this, some whites who are white. What is
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: it about the thought of their skin color that makes
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: that that's a right to superiority? And I have to say, man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: that it's a failing in these people. People who are
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: racist based on skin color, there's a failure in them
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: as people. See somehow you have to make a person
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: feel less than you in order for you to feel
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: like you're better than them. But isn't that the very
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: definition of racism your race, thinking that you're superior to
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: other races? You know what I mean? Yeah, that's definitely
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: a form of it. Yeah, you know, it's definitely. It's
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: so much behind it. It's all entitlement. That's a that's
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: a form of it too. It's a lot of things
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: that lead us to this man. And it's really sickening
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: because I look at the sadness and the sickness, and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: what Donald Trump did was he pulled the curtain back
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and really unveiled and game and got rid of this
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: false narrative that we were going getting better as a
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: country and we're not. We're not getting better as a country.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: We're getting better and slicker at hiding it. We've gotten
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: better and slicker at systemic race sism. We've gotten better
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and slicker. And then now they just can't even hide
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: it now because of the election. Now they want to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: make as hard as they can for black precincts to vote.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: They are openly admitting that voter suppression needs to come
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: into play. And we've got to get aware of folks
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: of what's going on. Because I have given up hope
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: that this country it's going to become non racist. I've
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: given that up. I thought when President Barack Obama became
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: president and it did prove that there are a lot
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: of great people in this country who are not of
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: a person of color, that it did prove the Black
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Lives Matter movement proved that there are a lot of
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: fine people in this country who are not of color.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: It proved that, yes, and I've always said that, and
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: that's good. But there are so much more hatred than
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: we even thought. I mean, I'm really not surprised, but
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I am kind of surprised because this last turn of
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: events with Donald Trump has really shown me, especially from
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: the Republican Party and the Senate, how much they really
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: do care about position, power and money. Yeah, and that
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: they've sacrificed everything and anything to hold onto it, even
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: if they know it's dead wrong. Yes, it's it's really sickness, man, soul.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: I'm saying to us, we have got to continue as
