- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: all suit looking back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milling bus things in the cubbing me through
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve hard listening to the movie together for
- 0:26Speaker 1: Stum Hardley, I don't join join me, be doing me. Honey.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn, got the turnout,
- 1:44Speaker 1: then turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your back. Uh huh. I show will come on to everybody,
- 2:04Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio still, Steve
- 2:15Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Sometimes when I chuckle like
- 2:19Speaker 1: that reminds me of my oldest brother to pass the
- 2:21Speaker 1: where he used to laugh like that. It's kind of
- 2:23Speaker 1: funny how jeans get passed down through the line. I
- 2:26Speaker 1: don't know why I told y'all that, just sont to
- 2:27Speaker 1: share with you. That's all. As always, always kind of
- 2:31Speaker 1: ask God to help me, you know, um, and and
- 2:35Speaker 1: and and I had I had gotten off track a
- 2:37Speaker 1: little bit because one of the principles of success I
- 2:42Speaker 1: want to share with you all today is a law
- 2:45Speaker 1: of attraction. And that is a very very serious principle.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It cannot be ignored the law of attraction. And I'm
- 2:55Speaker 1: not going to be able to explain it to you
- 2:58Speaker 1: as well as the books secrets can, or as well
- 3:01Speaker 1: as some people. I can only articulate it to you
- 3:06Speaker 1: the way that I see it. And the law of
- 3:08Speaker 1: attraction is very, very real. The law of attraction is
- 3:12Speaker 1: a principle of success. It is something that everyone has
- 3:18Speaker 1: to adhere to. Now, whether you know the law of
- 3:21Speaker 1: attraction or not, it does not make it not exist
- 3:26Speaker 1: for you. This is the case where ignorance is not
- 3:31Speaker 1: the excuse. The fact that no one told it to you.
- 3:36Speaker 1: There is no pass for this one. The fact that
- 3:39Speaker 1: you never heard it before it does not allow you
- 3:43Speaker 1: to do it any other way. So let me see
- 3:46Speaker 1: if I can put it to you best I can.
- 3:49Speaker 1: The law of attraction, the law of attraction, to put
- 3:53Speaker 1: it real simple, is the thing that you focus on,
- 3:58Speaker 1: the thing that you talk about, the thing that you
- 4:02Speaker 1: think of, is the thing that you draw to you.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It's what you attract to you. That's basically the law
- 4:09Speaker 1: of attraction. The thing that you talk about, the thing
- 4:13Speaker 1: that you think about, the thing that you focus on,
- 4:18Speaker 1: whatever it is that is what you attract. The law
- 4:23Speaker 1: of attraction does not differentiate from positive and negative. It
- 4:31Speaker 1: only does what it does. What I am saying is
- 4:36Speaker 1: this in the law of attraction, no matter what you
- 4:41Speaker 1: think of, no matter what occupies your time, no matter
- 4:46Speaker 1: what you say, or no matter what the focus is,
- 4:49Speaker 1: positive or negative, the law of attraction knows neither one.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It just attracts it. So let's use some examples here,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and just your best example always uses me that way.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I ain't got to figure out nothing. I can just
- 5:05Speaker 1: tell you my side of it. I was in a
- 5:08Speaker 1: lot of debt one time in my life, as before
- 5:12Speaker 1: any of you knew me, so you can understand. In
- 5:16Speaker 1: case you're not thinking, I don't. I don't want you
- 5:19Speaker 1: to think that this conversation is about your income level,
- 5:23Speaker 1: cause it's not. It doesn't matter what the income level
- 5:26Speaker 1: you are. The law of attraction works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: kept saying, Man, this debt is killing me. I got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to get out. That's what I thought was a good goal,
- 5:45Speaker 1: to get out of debt. But what I kept saying was,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I kept talking about debt, and you know
- 5:53Speaker 1: what it kept doing. It kept attracting debt to me.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So guess what, so I could get out that's all?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Is that crazy? That is an amazing law to understand.
- 6:07Speaker 1: What turned it around for me was I started claiming
- 6:13Speaker 1: a life of abundance. God, I am seeking a life
- 6:19Speaker 1: of abundance. I want to have more than enough. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to be able to help other people. I just
- 6:26Speaker 1: want to have a law of attraction so that I
- 6:29Speaker 1: be able to provide my family the lifestyle that I
- 6:32Speaker 1: want to provide them. I want heavily, father, to be
- 6:35Speaker 1: able to be an example of your goodness and your
- 6:39Speaker 1: grace in my life. That is what I started saying.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And guess what, that's what I started attractive. I'm going
- 6:48Speaker 1: to have a great relationship with my children. I'm going
- 6:51Speaker 1: to be the father that I always wanted to be.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm going to be a good father. I'm going to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be a good husband. Now. I am going to do
- 7:01Speaker 1: the right things. I am going to be the type
- 7:04Speaker 1: of example that my sons can look no further and go.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I can be like my dad. I want to be
- 7:11Speaker 1: able to be a place, a beacon of light and
- 7:13Speaker 1: hope for my daughters to come to. That's what I
- 7:16Speaker 1: started saying. That's what I started attracting to my life.
- 7:21Speaker 1: The law of attraction does not care if you want
- 7:25Speaker 1: it to be positive or negative. The law of attraction
- 7:30Speaker 1: just attracts whatever it is. You focus on, what you
- 7:34Speaker 1: think about, the words that come out your mouth. You
- 7:38Speaker 1: cannot overlook this principle of success and expect to make
- 7:42Speaker 1: it because of the fact that you've never heard of
- 7:45Speaker 1: the law of attraction, because of the fact that you
- 7:48Speaker 1: don't know how it really operates. It does not make
- 7:52Speaker 1: it not exist in your day. You can start today
- 7:57Speaker 1: attracting the right things to your life by changing what
- 8:02Speaker 1: you say, what you think, what you focus on, change
- 8:10Speaker 1: the focus, change the thought, change the words that come
- 8:16Speaker 1: out your mouth, and guess what you change what you
- 8:19Speaker 1: attract to yourself. You have got to ask yourself, why
- 8:24Speaker 1: is it? Man? Man, let me tell you something. Somebody
- 8:26Speaker 1: said the Bishop Jake's one time. They said, man, everything
- 8:31Speaker 1: you touch turns to gold. He said, no, I just
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't touch everything. Man, This it's crazy. Come on, man,
- 8:41Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a focus. See, he
- 8:46Speaker 1: ain't just everywhere. Bring me any idea, Let me try that. No, no, no, man,
- 8:50Speaker 1: he has a focus. He has a law of attraction
- 8:54Speaker 1: that's working, where he's attracting things to his life that
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's positive that he can't ask not to say, Bishop James,
- 9:03Speaker 1: don't have problems because we talk often and man, he
- 9:06Speaker 1: have them. Oh, please understand. And he's not trying to
- 9:09Speaker 1: attract the problems. But what he will attract is the
- 9:13Speaker 1: proper solution for the problem. And ain't that all you need? Sometimes?
- 9:18Speaker 1: God did not say that it would be easy. He
- 9:22Speaker 1: just said he would be with you. And if God
- 9:25Speaker 1: is with you, who can be against you? God will
- 9:28Speaker 1: make your enemies your footstool. God is powerful man, His
- 9:31Speaker 1: word is true. He do what he say he gonna do. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: all we got to do is do some of what
- 9:37Speaker 1: we say. We ain't gonna do everything, just do some
- 9:40Speaker 1: of what we say. Okay, here's a deal. God is
- 9:43Speaker 1: going to do everything he say he gonna to you,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and I just got to do some of the stuff
- 9:49Speaker 1: we say we're gonna do because he already know we
- 9:50Speaker 1: ain't gonna do all of it. He clear on that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He clear on that. All right, thank you, you're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, man have your attention. Please Steve Harvey
- 10:05Speaker 1: Morning Show, Old back, old back to cracking rice crisps
- 10:12Speaker 1: with tap water and powdered sugar powder, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry, Huh okay, good morning. Yeah, just something different.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You know, it's all the ingredients you need for snap
- 10:30Speaker 1: crack on Pop, but the tap water actually should be
- 10:35Speaker 1: milk and uh and the powdered sugar should be just sugar. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but we want you did we already know it's gonna
- 10:43Speaker 1: be different, Colin for real, snap crack on Pop? What's
- 10:48Speaker 1: happening this Tuesday morning? Is it here? Is it? There?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Is it everywhere? Ju and your boy Morning up? Carnation
- 10:59Speaker 1: milk anybody? Yeah, yeah, nephew, Timmy your side in the building,
- 11:08Speaker 1: snapped cracking clock and some slices of yeah you ever
- 11:12Speaker 1: tried you ever watered down some ego bread carnation condensing
- 11:23Speaker 1: and that's that's like one table spo. You had to
- 11:28Speaker 1: go to bed because the sugar rush is so intense.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Then to this day, I thought that was the greatest
- 11:38Speaker 1: invention ever. Yes, it is so delicious, but that's how
- 11:42Speaker 1: you know it's so wrong for you on so many levels. Well,
- 11:48Speaker 1: we're here again today, I think everybody is still a
- 11:53Speaker 1: little bit still uh not a little bit in shock. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, I just don't have a word for him.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But I was thinking though, because I don't claim to
- 12:06Speaker 1: know what God thinks, you know, and who am I
- 12:09Speaker 1: to even figure what his ways is? But I was
- 12:14Speaker 1: thinking about the tragedy of Kobe Bryant and his daughter
- 12:18Speaker 1: and all the other people on there. Yeah, just when
- 12:23Speaker 1: your time is up and you're a person of that
- 12:25Speaker 1: magnitude his passing, I've gotten more phone calls, more texts.
- 12:35Speaker 1: This is the most condolences, and hey, man, I just
- 12:39Speaker 1: want call and tell y'all love you. Man. You know
- 12:41Speaker 1: that would really hit me hard. And that's a that's
- 12:45Speaker 1: a tough part of it. And I guess that's what
- 12:48Speaker 1: his legacy is. You know, how he touched so many people.
- 12:51Speaker 1: We're talking about Kobe Bryant, of course, how he touched
- 12:54Speaker 1: so many people, and it prompted people to show love.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Let people know that you are loved and we love you.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I love you, not to take things for granted, right
- 13:08Speaker 1: to live every moment. Yeah, yeah, that's a tough one.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It is quite a few past days has an apend.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Whether you knew him or not. I mean, but we
- 13:22Speaker 1: all feel like we we knew him because we watched him.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, perform well, coming up at thirty, coming
- 13:32Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour. Um, you know, Steve,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I think you've opened up something here. We'll talk about
- 13:37Speaker 1: family and not taking your blessings for granted. We'll do
- 13:41Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening, Well, guys, we are all,
- 13:48Speaker 1: like we mentioned, we're all still in shock about the
- 13:51Speaker 1: death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, uh and seven
- 13:54Speaker 1: others that we're in that helicopter. Did you, guys, you know,
- 13:59Speaker 1: just asking, did you, guys spend the day? Did you
- 14:02Speaker 1: of course you thought about it. Did you talk to
- 14:04Speaker 1: your family? Did you tell people you love them? Um?
- 14:07Speaker 1: And just think about it? You know your life? Did
- 14:10Speaker 1: it make you reflect? How did you spend the day? Steve?
- 14:15Speaker 1: I mean, I mean yeah, I mean yesterday I was
- 14:19Speaker 1: just a dish rag. You know, it was nothing. I mean, yeah,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you know, I mean that's all it is. You know,
- 14:27Speaker 1: of course, you know your family texts, you know, having
- 14:31Speaker 1: having a get together before me and me and me
- 14:36Speaker 1: and my girl leave for the Super Bowl. Uh. But
- 14:39Speaker 1: you know it's just I mean, you know, everybody said,
- 14:43Speaker 1: you know, you know, hey, we got to get together
- 14:46Speaker 1: more often. You never know, you know, all of that.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But you know, I what what I what I told
- 14:52Speaker 1: everybody was it my family. I said, look, man, don't
- 14:56Speaker 1: don't just do this cause it cause that happened. You know,
- 15:00Speaker 1: if y'all not gonna do this, on going, don't do this,
- 15:03Speaker 1: don't do this all calls Kobe gone, little momentum thing
- 15:07Speaker 1: that I see building up here, this ain't gonna be real. Then,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you know, let's just go on and just get just
- 15:16Speaker 1: just be however you really gonna be. You know, yeah, yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: so my key is okay, but yeah, you know, but
- 15:28Speaker 1: I would revenue, yeah, yeah, I'd rather us do that.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Didn't this you know, hell, this ain't Christmas, right, yeah yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you know we're gonna put the tree up halves from gifts.
- 15:40Speaker 1: See you next year, you know. Yeah, I mean, I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: with you. You should mean it. If you tell someone
- 15:48Speaker 1: you love them, you forgive them, you definitely should mean
- 15:51Speaker 1: it and make it a rule. You know, if you
- 15:52Speaker 1: truly love that person, you know, let them know absolutely,
- 15:56Speaker 1: let them know. I do it. You know, I trying
- 16:00Speaker 1: to get the phone without telling uh, you know my
- 16:03Speaker 1: friends or family members love you, okay, love you love
- 16:06Speaker 1: you really mean it though, Yeah, were you saying, Carla,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I was saying yesterday. You know, Tasha was telling me
- 16:13Speaker 1: how it affected them at school, the kids, you know,
- 16:16Speaker 1: she's twelve, and the kids, their teachers were you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I was talking to them about it, and they said
- 16:23Speaker 1: some of the kids they were crying. Some of the boys,
- 16:25Speaker 1: you know, they were huge fans. And it reminded me
- 16:27Speaker 1: of what you were saying, Steve yesterday. This is their Jordan.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You know, these little kids they loved Kobe Bryant. And
- 16:34Speaker 1: Tasha said a lot of the boys at school were
- 16:37Speaker 1: crying and they were in the lunch room at lunchtime
- 16:40Speaker 1: chatting Kobe Kobe, and they were playing basketball. Tasha was like,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I think I want to play basketball because the girl
- 16:46Speaker 1: didn't know how to play. Momas I took the ball
- 16:48Speaker 1: from I was dribbling. You know, they were really having
- 16:51Speaker 1: a good time and celebrating basketball, and it's just it
- 16:55Speaker 1: was refreshing to hear how his legacy affected these kids
- 16:59Speaker 1: and how they wanted to keep going and keep playing.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And remember, you know, Kobe and they, you know, they
- 17:06Speaker 1: were talking about gig and it was. It was a
- 17:10Speaker 1: lot yesterday, a lot of emotional stuff going on. I
- 17:14Speaker 1: think it's going to inspire a new generation of basketball players.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Really really gonna some kids out there that really want
- 17:20Speaker 1: to play this game. Yeah, that'll be good for his legacy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And and you know, not only was he you know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: has he inspired too many people to play basketball, but
- 17:31Speaker 1: he played at such a high level. I mean everything
- 17:34Speaker 1: he did was excellent. Yeah, he I mean, you know,
- 17:39Speaker 1: for me, for me, for me personally, the takeaway for
- 17:44Speaker 1: me simply was, you just don't know when this, this could,
- 17:50Speaker 1: this that we often take for granted can slip away
- 17:54Speaker 1: and be gone in the blink of an eye. I mean,
- 17:57Speaker 1: that was to takeaway for me. I don't care old
- 18:00Speaker 1: people play basketball. Look, if you're not gifted to play basketball,
- 18:04Speaker 1: don't don't don't, don't don't do that. Don't don't don't. Yeah, don't,
- 18:11Speaker 1: that's not what you do. You're not fitting to beat Kobe.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You know. Now, is there another Kobe in the making somewhere?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Of course, sure of course it is. And for that
- 18:23Speaker 1: boy girl, I'm not talking to them, I'm talking to Restie. Y'all.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Don't here you go you know who you and you
- 18:35Speaker 1: just got a ball. Hey, man, this ain't what you
- 18:41Speaker 1: if you ain't a league by now? Man, you know,
- 18:44Speaker 1: if you ain't ever thought of basketball now, Kobe gone,
- 18:47Speaker 1: Now you ain't. No, No, that's not what I'm looking at.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I'm looking at what what What it made me think about?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Like when my wife leave the house and she's trying
- 18:59Speaker 1: to s running to the store and she just left,
- 19:03Speaker 1: the fact that anything can happen, That's what I think about. Man,
- 19:06Speaker 1: That's that's just on my mind all the phone with you. No,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't. I can't take it for granted that that
- 19:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk to my mom again, you know, I
- 19:15Speaker 1: just think about it. Yeah. I used to make a
- 19:18Speaker 1: rule that, you know, never argue or get into any arguments,
- 19:22Speaker 1: like before you have to take a trip or something
- 19:24Speaker 1: like that, you know, or get in the car. Just
- 19:26Speaker 1: don't do it. Try to resolve it if you can.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Try to resolve it if you can, because you just
- 19:32Speaker 1: never know, you just you know, you never know. And
- 19:34Speaker 1: it makes it even more clear, you know now that
- 19:37Speaker 1: we've lost um Kobe. Yeah, sure, I even know couples
- 19:41Speaker 1: that don't fly together, you know, and people don't want
- 19:47Speaker 1: to be on the together in case anything can go wrong.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Oh oh oh yeah, yeah they have I'll get there
- 19:57Speaker 1: at this point, She'll get there at that point. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I never do. I used to want to have me
- 20:01Speaker 1: and my family altogether. Right, yeah, Well, I'm not gonna
- 20:07Speaker 1: take any extra precautionary measures because of this incident, because
- 20:12Speaker 1: one thing about it, when it's your time, it will
- 20:15Speaker 1: be your time, you know. Uh just had that that move,
- 20:19Speaker 1: like we were talking off the air. You know, it's
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's just it's such a tough way. But this is
- 20:27Speaker 1: produced his passing and because of his level of popularity,
- 20:32Speaker 1: has produced these types of conversations worldwide. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 20:38Speaker 1: all right. Uh, we're gonna switch gears here and coming
- 20:42Speaker 1: up next, nephew Tommy is going to run that prank
- 20:45Speaker 1: back and we'll be back right after this. Come on, stupid,
- 20:48Speaker 1: all right, you're listening. Coming up at the top of
- 20:53Speaker 1: the hour, miss, and we'll be standing by with today's
- 20:56Speaker 1: national news and entertainment news. The NBA has canceled tonight's
- 21:01Speaker 1: Lakers versus Clippers game. Uh, coming up at the top
- 21:05Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll talk about it. And uh though
- 21:07Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is in the building with run
- 21:09Speaker 1: that prank back? What you got for his nast? Well,
- 21:12Speaker 1: you know it is the week up, so let's go
- 21:14Speaker 1: and get too at NFA super Bowl. Yeah yeah, is
- 21:19Speaker 1: it fanty? Let's go Ki. Well, hello, I'm trying to
- 21:28Speaker 1: retay Martina. Please, I see not in right at the moment.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Can I take a message or somebody can help you
- 21:33Speaker 1: with Actually I'm giving a call to make sure double
- 21:36Speaker 1: checking on confirmation for mister and mississ No, man, now
- 21:43Speaker 1: that may be the mistake because she's going by herself.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I'm not going, so that should you should should be missing.
- 21:48Speaker 1: That's all? Oh okay, all right, well I'll tell you
- 21:52Speaker 1: what we have. We have our schedule. We wanted to
- 21:54Speaker 1: make sure we gave the confirmation and uh, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: with a big weekend like this, we're double checking in
- 22:00Speaker 1: making sure everybody's actually coming and getting their rooms because
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know, you're subject to get charged for it. And
- 22:05Speaker 1: we definitely have the honeymoon sweet waiting on her. Who
- 22:08Speaker 1: honeymoon s week? Man, we've been married seventeen years. What's
- 22:10Speaker 1: you talking about? Honeymoon sweek? Well, we got you, you see,
- 22:14Speaker 1: mister and missus. What's the name on that miss Martina,

- 25:00Speaker 1: You can't tell me you're counseling right now, but I
- 25:03Speaker 1: need to hear that from miss Martina that's trusted me.

- 25:19Speaker 1: I cannot cancel it without speaking to her. I tell
- 25:23Speaker 1: you what your best bid is to councel that, because
- 25:25Speaker 1: if you put a charge on it, I'm gonna rive

- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm going to go through it and find it because
- 25:47Speaker 1: this is some and she's gonna be with Tony. So
- 25:49Speaker 1: if you called back here, you're not gonna get her

- 25:54Speaker 1: Now there's one more person that's on the schedule on

- 27:56Speaker 1: I think I need a prank bodyguard. Yes, you need
- 28:00Speaker 1: to tell Steve say you late on that, and especially
- 28:05Speaker 1: the ones you've been doing for the New year. I'm
- 28:08Speaker 1: surprised you ain't got your ass beat yet. It's the
- 28:13Speaker 1: basic part that's really You don't tell me that's favor,
- 28:18Speaker 1: that's that really is Yeah, because somebody should have walked
- 28:23Speaker 1: up on you and been stomping you by now. Okay, okay,
- 28:28Speaker 1: you Timmy, why y'all a little heavy with this? Just
- 28:31Speaker 1: feel tense right now? It's this. I don't have prank tension.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You know, y'all gonna cloud my creativity. Don't do it.
- 28:38Speaker 1: You don't have prank tension. Did you listen to the
- 28:41Speaker 1: reaction to these people they got talking about their kids.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They're pastor, the wife, actor, the church, the wife. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 1: wait till the next hour, all right, listen. Coming up
- 28:55Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
- 28:57Speaker 1: and national news for you right after this. You're listening
- 29:01Speaker 1: to show. The NBA has officially postponed tonight to Lakers
- 29:08Speaker 1: versus Clippers game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
- 29:12Speaker 1: This is all, of course, out of respect for the
- 29:14Speaker 1: Lakers organization, which is reeling as we all are, from
- 29:18Speaker 1: the death of Kobe Bryant. The decision was made out
- 29:21Speaker 1: of respect for the Lakers organization, which is deeply grieving
- 29:24Speaker 1: the tragic loss of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and seven other people that were in the helicopter crash
- 29:32Speaker 1: on Sunday. The NBA set in a statement the game
- 29:36Speaker 1: will be Excuse me, I need some water. The game
- 29:40Speaker 1: will be rescheduled at a later date. Lebron James was
- 29:44Speaker 1: seen sobbing and crying when he got off the Lakers
- 29:47Speaker 1: team playing at lax on Sunday following a game in
- 29:50Speaker 1: Brooklyn against the net. Several players, staffers, and other Lakers employees,
- 29:55Speaker 1: many of whom have known Kobe four years, are simply
- 29:59Speaker 1: inconsolable and just not ready to go to work. They're
- 30:02Speaker 1: just not ready to do it right now. Of course,
- 30:05Speaker 1: we know that Kobe played for the Lakers for twenty
- 30:07Speaker 1: years and built lasting relationships with so many people. I mean,
- 30:12Speaker 1: that's those These are the people that knew him. You know,
- 30:16Speaker 1: it hit the people that didn't know him. I think
- 30:18Speaker 1: I think that we're learning more and more that he
- 30:22Speaker 1: not only had an epic career, but this brother had
- 30:25Speaker 1: built an epic life. I think that's what a lot
- 30:30Speaker 1: of people are coming away with him because like even
- 30:33Speaker 1: the pictures, the big pictures that put up on the billboards,
- 30:39Speaker 1: you know, the chromatic billboards outside of the latent, Yeah,
- 30:44Speaker 1: none of them are him in a basketball jersey. It's
- 30:48Speaker 1: him in a suit, you know, which is saying it
- 30:53Speaker 1: just just him the man, Yeah, not the player. The
- 30:58Speaker 1: man is missing. And I think that I'm even learning.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Of course, you know, I knew him, but we weren't
- 31:04Speaker 1: like I said, we weren't. We didn't have each other
- 31:06Speaker 1: sale number, we didn't never called each other just every
- 31:10Speaker 1: time we saw each other, we had we had a
- 31:13Speaker 1: we had a mutually respectful conversation. I was complimentary of him.
- 31:18Speaker 1: He was always complimenting me whenever we saw each other
- 31:21Speaker 1: and Steve. I turned around. One time it was him,
- 31:24Speaker 1: I said, Moonber. He turned around this me and like
- 31:27Speaker 1: I said, last time I saw him was not at
- 31:29Speaker 1: this past World Series, but the time before, and we
- 31:32Speaker 1: both had seats like right on the front road, right
- 31:36Speaker 1: behind the dugout or the Boston Red Sox. At last
- 31:39Speaker 1: time I saw him and his wife, and you know,
- 31:42Speaker 1: it was just cool. I was leaving. My wife, said Steve.
- 31:45Speaker 1: That's kovid, he said, Steve. I went out there in front,
- 31:49Speaker 1: you know a lot of people looking and stuff, you know,
- 31:51Speaker 1: hugged him, shook his head and asking how the family
- 31:54Speaker 1: is doing, hugged his wife. That was the last time
- 31:56Speaker 1: I ever spoke to the buzz. So I'm not sitting
- 31:58Speaker 1: up here trying to perpetrate like he was close friends,
- 32:01Speaker 1: because we weren't. But what I'm learning even more and
- 32:05Speaker 1: more is what I used to compliment him more about
- 32:07Speaker 1: he really pulls his life together. I'm learning more and
- 32:12Speaker 1: more of how great of a man he was community wise,
- 32:20Speaker 1: and especially as a father father. I didn't know how
- 32:23Speaker 1: involved he was in women's basketball. I just you know,
- 32:28Speaker 1: and I'm just learning a lot more about him, which
- 32:31Speaker 1: is really really cool. Yeah. And one other thing I
- 32:34Speaker 1: heard that you guys had in common, Steve, They said
- 32:37Speaker 1: Kobe liked to dress. You mentioned he had. They showed
- 32:40Speaker 1: pictures of him not in a basketball uniform, ball and
- 32:43Speaker 1: they said he liked to dress. He was into clothes,
- 32:46Speaker 1: He liked cigars, you know, things like that. He was
- 32:49Speaker 1: a champion for women's sports. You know. Yeah, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 1: just a great guy all around. Um. Well, we're gonna
- 32:59Speaker 1: move on now and time to get caught up the
- 33:01Speaker 1: state with miss Anne. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne trip
- 33:05Speaker 1: do you thank you? This is Awer with the news. Everybody,
- 33:07Speaker 1: Good morning. Well, authorities say they've removed three bodies from
- 33:11Speaker 1: the Calabasas, California's site where Kobe Bryant's helicopter went down
- 33:14Speaker 1: Sunday morning, but they're not saying which bodies, although they
- 33:17Speaker 1: have identified everybody now on board. Members of the National
- 33:21Speaker 1: Transportation Safety Board they're there. They say the craft was
- 33:24Speaker 1: not equipped with a black box, which they say was
- 33:26Speaker 1: not required, but there was. They say an iPad used
- 33:30Speaker 1: for the flight's itinerary, the weather conditions, and some other
- 33:33Speaker 1: things that they're going to be studying and trying to
- 33:35Speaker 1: put together. The NTSB also asking the public for photos
- 33:38Speaker 1: of the area of the crash to determine what the
- 33:41Speaker 1: conditions were like. Meanwhile, the La County Sheriff's office has
- 33:44Speaker 1: set up a perimeter around the crash site with offices
- 33:47Speaker 1: on horseback and on all terrain vehicles to keep the
- 33:49Speaker 1: curious away because even they contaminate the scene and just
- 33:52Speaker 1: really messed stuff up. They'd say. The last transmission, by
- 33:55Speaker 1: the way, from Kobe's pilot was a statement that he
- 33:58Speaker 1: was climbing to avoid some thick cloud and apparently he
- 34:01Speaker 1: was told it he was too low at this point
- 34:03Speaker 1: and he should watch out. The National Transportation and Safety
- 34:06Speaker 1: Boards says their people are going to be there for
- 34:08Speaker 1: about five days. They still are not completely sure what happened,
- 34:10Speaker 1: but they're still piecing it together. So I don't want
- 34:12Speaker 1: to say they said this or they say that. Oh. Thus,
- 34:15Speaker 1: just so as you know, the NBA is inducted Kobe
- 34:18Speaker 1: posthumously into the NBA Hall of Fame. All the formalities
- 34:21Speaker 1: have been waived. He is in, they say. And also
- 34:25Speaker 1: there's a petition out there to make Kobe Bryant shadow
- 34:27Speaker 1: the new symbol of the NBA, replacing Jerry West. I
- 34:30Speaker 1: don't know if that's going to fly very well, but
- 34:32Speaker 1: we'll see. You know. Let people have a lot of
- 34:33Speaker 1: respect for Jerry West as well. Now that it's a
- 34:36Speaker 1: GOP's chance to defend President Trump against impeachment, they suddenly
- 34:39Speaker 1: find themselves on an increased pressure to call former National
- 34:42Speaker 1: Security Advisor John Bolton to testify, even though Majority Leader
- 34:45Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell's been firm about not considering any new information.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Things might be about to change, though Senate Minority Leader
- 34:51Speaker 1: Charles Schumer says the why of it is simple. According
- 34:54Speaker 1: to The New York Times, Ambassador Bolton wrote in his
- 34:58Speaker 1: book that he was ordered by the President to continue
- 35:02Speaker 1: freezing assistance until Ukraine announced the political investigations the president
- 35:09Speaker 1: was seeking, including the investigation into the Bidens. Ambassador Bolton
- 35:14Speaker 1: essentially confirms the President committed the offenses charged in the
- 35:18Speaker 1: first article of impeachment. We have a witness with first
- 35:22Speaker 1: hand evidence of the President's actions for which he is
- 35:25Speaker 1: on trial. He is ready and willing to testify anyone
- 35:29Speaker 1: who says the House case lacks eyewitnesses and then votes
- 35:34Speaker 1: to prevent eyewitnesses from testifying is talking out of both
- 35:37Speaker 1: sides of their mouth. At least two GOP senators reportedly
- 35:40Speaker 1: feeled that revelations in Bolton's soon to be published book
- 35:43Speaker 1: or make his testimony crucial. At least two more Republicans, though,
- 35:46Speaker 1: are needed to overrule McConnell's witness shutouts, So we'll see
- 35:49Speaker 1: how that goes. Finally, today is National Daisy Day. Like
- 35:52Speaker 1: in the words of Dark Holiday, I guess you're a
- 35:54Speaker 1: daisy if you do to him, you know daisy. Now
- 36:03Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You're listening to
- 36:07Speaker 1: show Well, Saturday kicks off Black History Month, and on
- 36:11Speaker 1: this past Sunday night during the Grammys, this is one
- 36:14Speaker 1: of your favorite months. You're got extra day this year.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Uh huh he it is sleepier. Yeah. Google premiered a
- 36:23Speaker 1: commercial called most Searched. The commercial is about how African
- 36:27Speaker 1: Americans have dominated public fascination. So what is the most

- 37:47Speaker 1: that a real ballerina gymnast? No, she's a gymnast's Olympic gymnast.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to get to him. And why about your tone?

- 38:58Speaker 1: we'll be back with more. You got to be kidding
- 39:02Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show Kobe Bryant's helicopter
- 39:08Speaker 1: pilot misjudged the terrain and didn't slow down. That's what
- 39:13Speaker 1: some pilots are saying now. Federal investigators on Monday began
- 39:16Speaker 1: working to unravel the mystery of why a helicopter carrying
- 39:20Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant, his thirteen year old daughter, and seven other people,
- 39:23Speaker 1: including teenage girls, coaches, and some members of their families,
- 39:27Speaker 1: crashed into the side of a hill in Calabasa's authority
- 39:30Speaker 1: said the investigation is now wide ranging, including looking at
- 39:34Speaker 1: the histories of the pilot, helicopter maintenance records, and the
- 39:39Speaker 1: foggy conditions, which pilots have said at a level of danger.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Kobe began relying on helicopters to travel around Los Angeles
- 39:47Speaker 1: so he would have more time with his four daughters,
- 39:50Speaker 1: he said in a December twenty eighteen interview, He said
- 39:54Speaker 1: the traffic was so bad in Los Angeles that he
- 39:56Speaker 1: missed one of his daughter's school plays. Kobe also wanted
- 39:59Speaker 1: to figure out a way where he could still train
- 40:02Speaker 1: and stay in shape, but still not compromise family time. Wow,
- 40:07Speaker 1: like you say, Steve, we keep learning more and more
- 40:10Speaker 1: about what a great man and father he was. Yeah, no, no, no,
- 40:15Speaker 1: just just a really really great dude. And another thing too.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you know, I haven't looked at a lot
- 40:22Speaker 1: of comments, but Kobe was young and famous with money,
- 40:29Speaker 1: and he had to make his mistakes in front of everybody.
- 40:34Speaker 1: And you know, I think that's the thing that some
- 40:36Speaker 1: of us, some people fail to realize that in this
- 40:40Speaker 1: day of social media and everything that young people nowadays, man,
- 40:44Speaker 1: they make mistakes and it's it's blaring, It really blares
- 40:48Speaker 1: out at him. Because of social media. That's why so
- 40:52Speaker 1: many young people are suffering getting cyber bullied in and
- 40:57Speaker 1: and and and and and suicide, all that and and
- 41:01Speaker 1: all of this. Man, because of cyber bullying and what
- 41:05Speaker 1: and what that internet means to them, and it's it's
- 41:09Speaker 1: it's a it's a it's just a sad state. But this,
- 41:13Speaker 1: this cat grew up in the limelight in the media,
- 41:18Speaker 1: and the mistakes he made were just magnified. You know, Yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 1: they were they were talking about today. You know, he
- 41:24Speaker 1: wasn't perfect. I want I was just screaming at the screen.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Who is Yeah? Yeah, they had had social media when
- 41:32Speaker 1: we were coming up. Oh man, we wouldn't. Yeah. I
- 41:39Speaker 1: don't even want to think about it. I did. I
- 41:44Speaker 1: would have never been selected on anything, not a damn thing.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't. They wouldn't even let me on Amateur Night
- 41:53Speaker 1: at the You didnt want to get up here? Three
- 42:00Speaker 1: tanks at gas sir? Yeah, yeah, man, But this is
- 42:08Speaker 1: according to People magazine, Kobe and Vanessa, his wife, had
- 42:11Speaker 1: a deal if they would never fly on a helicopter together.
- 42:16Speaker 1: The yeah, our contolens. Condolence is of course going out
- 42:20Speaker 1: to Kobe's wife, Vanessa, his other children Natalia Bianca Capri,
- 42:24Speaker 1: and then his parents mister Joe and Missus Pam Bryant,
- 42:28Speaker 1: and his sisters and his entire family, and praying for
- 42:32Speaker 1: the other victim families, and definitely the other victims families
- 42:36Speaker 1: as well, the other seven people in their families. I mean,
- 42:39Speaker 1: it's just a tragedy, and American tragedy. Yeah. Hey, did
- 42:43Speaker 1: you know he was playing in Italy? He was playing
- 42:46Speaker 1: like at the age of eleven twelve, playing against grown me.
- 42:49Speaker 1: That's what I saw the earlier today, yesterday, Right, I
- 42:53Speaker 1: can see that. Yeah, I can see that boy was
- 42:56Speaker 1: balling with adults at a at a young age man. Yeah. Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 1: At no point in my life was I at any
- 43:08Speaker 1: level of Kobe. It's a lot of the I'm pretty
- 43:14Speaker 1: sure at nine, me and Hill was about Nick and
- 43:18Speaker 1: neck at one point while I was in college, Hull
- 43:28Speaker 1: in all his life and actually thought I had a
- 43:31Speaker 1: little piece of game. Oh you couldn't tell me nothing, man.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Actually I actually had a little piece of basketball game. Yeah,
- 43:42Speaker 1: but it never was it Kobe esque. All right, we're
- 43:48Speaker 1: moving on guys. Coming up next, We're going to switch
- 43:51Speaker 1: gears here. Trying to laugh just a little bit at
- 43:55Speaker 1: the nephew and with the nephew with today's prank phone
- 43:57Speaker 1: call that's coming up right after this. You're listening Stry
- 44:02Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after, we'll have my strawberry letter
- 44:08Speaker 1: for today, the subject I never wanted to be the
- 44:11Speaker 1: other woman. But right now the nephew in the building

- 44:36Speaker 1: you doing? I don't know, I didn't know what I know.
- 44:43Speaker 1: We've been. I know we've been going back and forth
- 44:45Speaker 1: on the site talking and we haven't you know, really
- 44:50Speaker 1: talked yet. So yeah, okay, I'm just going to expect
- 44:54Speaker 1: in the car. But yeah, it's good to hear from you. Um,
- 44:57Speaker 1: it's good to hear from you now, you know what
- 44:58Speaker 1: I mean. We've been we've been talking for well a
- 45:02Speaker 1: long time, well, texting and on the site for at

- 45:21Speaker 1: I don't think so. I just have to, like, you know,
- 45:24Speaker 1: go grocery shopping or whatever. But like, other than that,
- 45:26Speaker 1: I'm pretty helping. What I was thinking, maybe we get together,
- 45:29Speaker 1: get a get a drink or two, just you know
- 45:31Speaker 1: kind of yeah, and a little bit feel each other
- 45:34Speaker 1: out and if you if you're feeling that, you know,

- 45:42Speaker 1: then I would love to see this weekend. Um, you
- 45:45Speaker 1: got a place in mind? Like, yeah, you know, I
- 45:49Speaker 1: was thinking about letting you pick something because you know,
- 45:51Speaker 1: i'd rather go somewhere where you're comfortable, with an atmosphere
- 45:54Speaker 1: that you used to. I think that would be the
- 45:57Speaker 1: best thing to do. Okay, well, I let me work.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I find out. I'll coact you on that. But yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 1: I'm down this one. Hang out a little bit. Yeah,

- 46:26Speaker 1: the location or whatever wherever you want me to you know,
- 46:28Speaker 1: I'll be there. Okay, Cool? I can't wait to see
- 46:31Speaker 1: you one thing. Okay, let's let's do this first. Tell
- 46:33Speaker 1: me this. What what are we wearing? So I'm not
- 46:35Speaker 1: don't want to be old with dressed or under dressed.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I don't really trip on that first. They could be
- 46:39Speaker 1: chill like I'm not. You know, we don't have to
- 46:41Speaker 1: do like a five hundred dollar dinner or nothing like that.
- 46:44Speaker 1: You don't need on to touch This ain't the Rock
- 46:47Speaker 1: Nation brunch, all right? All right, but if you don't mind,
- 46:52Speaker 1: if I could get you to do something for me,
- 46:54Speaker 1: could you? Um? Could I give you my cash app
- 46:58Speaker 1: for what? Well? What I want to do is, you know,
- 47:02Speaker 1: sometimes these things actually go wrong. You know, I don't
- 47:05Speaker 1: see it going wrong with me and you because we've
- 47:07Speaker 1: had you know, the way we've been chit chatting and
- 47:09Speaker 1: going back and forth on the site. Things have been
- 47:11Speaker 1: really really well. You know, you know, I would like
- 47:14Speaker 1: to get you know, like a you know, a love
- 47:17Speaker 1: deposit of two hundred and fifty dollars that way of
- 47:20Speaker 1: just go wrong. At least I haven't wasted my time,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Hold on, I'm just saying,
- 47:33Speaker 1: what happening? Um? You said you want me to get
- 47:37Speaker 1: your coss out and send you a move deposit of
- 47:41Speaker 1: two hundred and some dollars two fifty two fifty, like
- 47:44Speaker 1: you know that way, I just don't. If this don't
- 47:46Speaker 1: go right, you know, then at least I haven't you know,
- 47:50Speaker 1: it's like a love deposit, you know, if it goes
- 47:52Speaker 1: If it goes right, you know, then I give it
- 47:54Speaker 1: back to you. If it don't go right, you know,
- 47:55Speaker 1: at least I haven't wasted my time. You see what
- 47:57Speaker 1: I'm saying. Cry, you're serious right now? Yeah? Like yeah, okay,
- 48:03Speaker 1: uh this is super weird and uh yeah this is
- 48:08Speaker 1: all weird and uh, you know I'm coming. I don't
- 48:12Speaker 1: really know what to say, like other than um, you
- 48:16Speaker 1: could probably lose my number, like you a week due,
- 48:18Speaker 1: Like don't call me like you're corny. I'm not interested.
- 48:23Speaker 1: You're a bum, Like I'm straight, Like I don't know
- 48:25Speaker 1: what hold hold on, I wouldn't all let no talking
- 48:29Speaker 1: about we've been talking. We've been talking for five weeks.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Everything been good, we've been we've been on the sight
- 48:33Speaker 1: talking to each other. But two weeks though, you're trying
- 48:36Speaker 1: to ask me for a cash app for real, a
- 48:38Speaker 1: love deposit? How corny? Are you? Are you serious? Seriously? Like,
- 48:44Speaker 1: if you believe listen to tip tip on the real.
- 48:47Speaker 1: If you believe in yourself, you you you know? If
- 48:52Speaker 1: I believe in myself, you're so full of last out
- 48:54Speaker 1: of yours, you have lost your in mind? Okay, would
- 48:59Speaker 1: you please like gather your thoughts because I don't know
- 49:02Speaker 1: who you think you're talking to for real? You know
- 49:04Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I need you to do two things.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Lose my number and don't don't look for me for real?
- 49:11Speaker 1: Start up like this is ridiculous Like this, this is stupid.
- 49:15Speaker 1: You were ignorant for real? Start up? Okay, okay, show me,
- 49:19Speaker 1: show me where I'm wrong. If you believe in yourself though,
- 49:22Speaker 1: if I believe in myself, that's dude. What do you mean?
- 49:25Speaker 1: If I believe in myself? If you believe in yourself,
- 49:27Speaker 1: your past will move around. Get off the phone. It
- 49:30Speaker 1: stop wasting my time for real. I'm about to hang

- 52:08Speaker 1: at least two fifty for my time? Because I don't.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I don't what I gotta tell you, don't tell me

- 53:48Speaker 1: we got it full you here it is strawberry letter,
- 53:51Speaker 1: Thank you nev subject. I never wanted to be the
- 53:54Speaker 1: other woman. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a single mother and
- 53:58Speaker 1: I'm at a nice guy two years ago at a
- 54:00Speaker 1: local bar. I wasn't interested at first because he is
- 54:04Speaker 1: significantly older than me and his overall look is completely
- 54:08Speaker 1: different than what I typically like in a man. I
- 54:11Speaker 1: didn't pay him much attention and I didn't give him
- 54:14Speaker 1: my phone number. As I was leaving the bar, I
- 54:17Speaker 1: told him how to find me on social media. Later
- 54:20Speaker 1: that night, he reached out to me on Instagram and
- 54:22Speaker 1: said it was great meeting me and he wanted to
- 54:24Speaker 1: make sure I got home safely. He messaged me often
- 54:28Speaker 1: and I would respond. I started looking forward to hearing
- 54:31Speaker 1: from him daily, and we really got to know each
- 54:34Speaker 1: other that way. He was very transparent and he told
- 54:38Speaker 1: me that he was in a long term relationship with
- 54:41Speaker 1: a great woman. His honesty made me like him even more,
- 54:45Speaker 1: and I started opening up to him and we exchanged
- 54:48Speaker 1: phone numbers. I agreed to meet with him just to talk,
- 54:51Speaker 1: and it was good to actually see him in person
- 54:54Speaker 1: after months of messages on Instagram. It was such a
- 54:58Speaker 1: great meeting that I really started fall for this guy.
- 55:01Speaker 1: We started meeting up more frequently in public and in private,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and we eventually had sex. Nothing is changed about him
- 55:09Speaker 1: and his relationship status, and he tells me that he
- 55:12Speaker 1: wants to be with me. To make matters worse, his
- 55:15Speaker 1: girlfriend is my sorority sister and we were at an
- 55:18Speaker 1: event together recently. I have never met her, but it's
- 55:22Speaker 1: really weird. If he leaves her for me, which is
- 55:25Speaker 1: what he tells me he plans to do, this could
- 55:28Speaker 1: get messy. I like this guy a lot, but he's
- 55:31Speaker 1: a cheater and I don't know if I would ever
- 55:34Speaker 1: be able to trust him. Stephen Shirley, what should I
- 55:37Speaker 1: do in this situation? Do I continue to talk to
- 55:40Speaker 1: him and see what happens or run for the hills? Okay,
- 55:45Speaker 1: this is one of those letters where you already know
- 55:47Speaker 1: the answer before you even write in. You know what
- 55:50Speaker 1: to do, You know what's going on. You didn't give
- 55:53Speaker 1: us any ages or how old you are. You said
- 55:56Speaker 1: just that he's significantly older than you and you liked
- 56:01Speaker 1: him because he was honest with you about his long
- 56:04Speaker 1: term relationship with a woman. So this can't be your
- 56:08Speaker 1: man when you really think about it. I think the
- 56:11Speaker 1: turn on for you it is just the fact that
- 56:15Speaker 1: he's unavailable and that he says he wants you, not her.
- 56:20Speaker 1: You didn't even like him at first. He's an older
- 56:24Speaker 1: man who knows what to do to get you, and
- 56:29Speaker 1: he has you right where he wants you. Okay, he
- 56:31Speaker 1: can go home to his other woman that he's been
- 56:33Speaker 1: in a relationship with a very long time, and then
- 56:36Speaker 1: he has you on the side. He was honest about
- 56:40Speaker 1: telling you about his other woman, but lying through his
- 56:43Speaker 1: teeth about leaving her for you. All men say that
- 56:47Speaker 1: it's a lot easier to leave a girlfriend than a wife.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So why hasn't he left her yet? If he wants
- 56:53Speaker 1: to be with you as he said so, I tell you,
- 56:56Speaker 1: don't don't believe the hype. I mean, if you don't
- 56:58Speaker 1: want to be the other woman, you gotta stop being
- 57:01Speaker 1: the other woman, as simple as that. I mean, your feelings,
- 57:05Speaker 1: you know, may be involved, but if you don't want
- 57:07Speaker 1: to be that, you can stop. I say you do this,
- 57:10Speaker 1: give him an ultimatum, say her or me, and see
- 57:15Speaker 1: what he does. He's gonna stay right over there with her,
- 57:18Speaker 1: and you're gonna be the side piece like you already are.
- 57:21Speaker 1: He's not gonna choose you, Steve. I never wanted to
- 57:28Speaker 1: be the other woman, but you is. Let us begin.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I never wanted to be the other woman, but you is.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I'm a single mother. Met this nice guy a couple
- 57:51Speaker 1: of years ago at a local ball the right hill.
- 57:55Speaker 1: These are old people who meets at a local bar.
- 58:03Speaker 1: She's on too. Yeah, who meets at a local bar?
- 58:08Speaker 1: A local bar? Don't nobody go to taverns? No more,
- 58:12Speaker 1: don't nobody go to the bar up the street? Yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 1: these deeds both these old people? She old? He old?
- 58:21Speaker 1: Uh because two years ago, at two years ago, they
- 58:26Speaker 1: met at a local bar. Who meets at a bar?
- 58:32Speaker 1: Young people club? And now? Who as a bar? Just
- 58:36Speaker 1: a local bar where the locals go to? When the
- 58:39Speaker 1: last time you heard that, I wasn't interested first because
- 58:43Speaker 1: he's significantly older. He an old ass dude over the bar,
- 58:47Speaker 1: had a cigarette, a drink, a short, stingy brim on,
- 58:53Speaker 1: and then you know he overlooked. He completely different to
- 58:56Speaker 1: what I typically like it. I ain't paying much attention,
- 58:59Speaker 1: and I get my phone number if I was leaving
- 59:01Speaker 1: the bar. I told him how to find me on
- 59:03Speaker 1: social media. She probably said, I'm on my Space he said,
- 59:08Speaker 1: I still old old. Yeah, yeah, that's probably that. He
- 59:16Speaker 1: reached out to Instagram, said the great meet me and
- 59:18Speaker 1: wanted to make sure I got home safely. That's another
- 59:21Speaker 1: old ass statement. You know how old you got to
- 59:24Speaker 1: be to make sure a woman get home safely? You
- 59:30Speaker 1: got to be old do young people don't do that, Steve, No,
- 59:34Speaker 1: that's an old dude statement. I just want call and
- 59:37Speaker 1: make sure you got home safe in it. That's an
- 59:39Speaker 1: old playoff statement. Right, well, we come back. I got
- 59:44Speaker 1: the rest of this letter for you. All right, We'll
- 59:47Speaker 1: have part two coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 59:51Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter. I never wanted to be
- 59:54Speaker 1: the other woman. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:57Speaker 1: You're listening harp show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I never wanted to be
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: the other woman, but you he is. These two old
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: people met at a local bar. Local they both walk
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: up there. I wasn't interested at first because he's significantly
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: older than me and his overall look is completely different
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: from what I typically like in a man. So she'd
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: met this old dude at the ball stany brim on
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: short sleep polo shirt bandln you know, got on, got
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: on the long jeans, watch Stacy Adam and he dranking
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Brown Dun. Yeah. I didn't pay much attention. I ain't
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: giving my phone number. As I was leaving, I told
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: him how to find me on social media. Late at night,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: he reached out to me on Instagram and said it
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: was great meeting me. He wanted to make sure I
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: got home safely. That's an old school player move. Want
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: to make sure you got hold safely. He messages me
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: often and I would respond, so I started looking forward
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to hear from daily. We got to know each other.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: We got to know each other that way. Now here
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: we here go the player move. They always say we're
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: very transparent. He told me he was in a long
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: term relationship with a great woman. Yeah. Now his honesty
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: made me feel made me like him even more. You
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: falling from that and I started opening up to him
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and y'all exchange phone numbers. These people still got house numbers, yeah,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I says. I agreed to meet him just to talk
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: and it was good to see me in person at
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: the mons on Instagram it was a great meeting. I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: started falling for this guy. We started meeting up more
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: frequently in public and private, and we eventually had sex.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Nothing has changed about him and all and his relationship status.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: But he tells me that he wants to be with me. Yeah,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: that's how you get to be with a woman. You
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: tell her you won't hull. But what the words? What's
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: what's the new stuff? He tells me that he wants
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: to be with me. We all say that, Yeah, we
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: posted to make matters worse. His girlfriend is my sorority system.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: She is one of the founders. That's how old is yeah,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: or if she ain't the founder, her mama founder sorority.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Now they both in the same serrity and they were
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: an event together. See, I've never met her, but it
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: was really weird. What okay, I'm confused. You all were
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: both at an event together. I've never met her, but
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: it was really weird. Well, she knew who she was?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: How she know her? Maybe he described her and you know,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: maybe he's told her her name something some clue. How
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: small was this event? That's what you're worried about the
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: size of the event. Then hold on. If he leaves
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: her for me, which is what he tells me, he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: plans to do this could get messy. How's gonna get messy?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Y'all in the same sorority, I don't understand. I like
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: this guy a lot, but he's a cheetah and I
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: don't whoah, Oh he's a Cheatah. So you think because
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: he been in this long term relationship with this woman
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and he's seeing you, that that just makes him a
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Cheatah you don't. You don't see yourself as a Cheatah. Okay,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: let me let me let me break this down for
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you women. The number one question I get asked when
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I'm touring with the books and anything, Steve White, do
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: me and cheat? Do you know what? One of my
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: answers is because there are so many women willing to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: cheat with us. If you know that this man is
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: in a long term relationship and he's been transparent about it,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: and you sleep with him, he's not the only cheater.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: You're a cheater too. I know you don't want to
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: hear this because you own but you're a cheater too.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I like this guy a lot, but he's a Cheatah.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: What's you? What are you? And I don't know what
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: is you? And I don't know if I would ever
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: be able to trust him. I don't know if he
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: can trust you because you ain't got no problem sleeping
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: with me, and that's already in relationships. So you're throwing
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: this up in his face. He could throw that up
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: in your face. Stephen Shirley, what do I do in
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: this situation? Do I continue to talk to him and
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: see what happens? Or run for the heels you said
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: at the top of the letter, I never wanted to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: be the other woman I said you is. And then
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: at the bottom of the letter, do I continue to
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: talk to him and see what happens? The hell you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: think gonna happen? She already knows. Why wouldn't he leave
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: her to get you when he already got you? Check?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thank you? Men don't do emotions. Oh lord,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: post your kind of done today's Jobberry. Let Steve Harvey
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand now coming up at forty six
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: minutes after the hour count down to Super Bowl fifty four.

- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you could ask any one football player any one question
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: and get an honest answer, what would it be. Let's
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: start with you, Junior, because you love sports. Okay, Patrick Mahomes,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: how much it is? Two hundred met and I'm gonna
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: get when you signed? I can answer for him none.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Why it don't hurt to Hey? Yes, come on, Tommy,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: what you got any ball player? If you could ask
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: any one football player Earl Kim, what was it like
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: running over everybody that's mine back? Yeah, because that's one
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: of my favorite Earl Camera's one of the greatest of
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: all times. Yeah, okay, all right, what about you? I
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: want to say to all of the stars in the
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: NFL that have they have platted or do you want
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: any endorsements at all? Would you consider, if you are
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: star football player, cutting your hair so you can make
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: extra income. I'm curious about that. Well, aren't you hosting
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the NFL honors Gonna damn show ask them sadday night? Yes,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I think it's I don't think it's nothing wrong with it,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: though you don't think it's nothing wrong with what with
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: their braids? That flat. I don't mind bids. The locks,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I don't mind locks. I ain't got no problem. But
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: when you when you part your hair and plant it
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: into six plats, that's the one I don't get, corner dog.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm cool with this, dreadlocks. I'm cool with the rough
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: tumble look, I'm cool with it. Man. Do you but
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: when you plat your damn hair and everybody black know
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: what I mean by plaque? You put four big parts.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: You put big parts in your head, take a sack
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and then braid it and let it drape down into
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: your eye, your ass. Do it? You put some thought
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: into this, sir. I'm just really, I'm gonna ask them
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: sad to night. You'll be right in front of him. Yeah, man,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you know how much money Lamar Jackson is worth right
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: now as the MVP millions? Do you know how much
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: they would pay him endorsing products and aladded his head.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I think they're leaving hundreds of millions of dollars on
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: the table, all right? Coming up at the top of
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: the hour, we got to ask this question, what was
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: your most embarrassing accidental text that you've sent to someone? Uh?
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: We want to find out from the fellas right after this.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Now you're listening to so um, I gotta ask you, guys,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: because we've all done this, what was your most embarrassing
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: text that you've ever sent to someone by accident? We've
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: all done this. Uh, you know there's nothing right worse
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: than you're writing a private text to someone personal text
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: and sending it to the wrong person. That is why
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I do not do group texts. Yeah, so if you don't,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you would not respond on act at all because I
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: forget to turn it off and fairly's response comes back single.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: It is nobody else told it, and I know what
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: a good text. But so so Junior, have you ever asked, oh, yeah,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: you need to understand last names. If the two people
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: got to save last name, pick the right one. Because
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I sent a text to my sister said my mama,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: get on my damn nerves. I send it right to
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: my mom. Oh I get so your damn nerves. That's
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: what I do. That's what I do. I should have
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: known that it was really really a rough week. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: It was Talicia's space and Alicia's space is really close.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Yeah that's close yea yeah, and I spent Telicia. I
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: should have man, how it's going. Fuck? Tell me, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: know you sent some necking pictures to somebody before you
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: were married. I know you did. Surely, How do I
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: paint this? Okay? Let me try to walk this thin
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: land though. Okay, Jackie went on whole way home and said,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: find us something to eat, you know, find you know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: let's see if we got something there to cook to eat.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: You know this one this you just got your phone
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to take pictures and all that, so you don't just
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: trying stuff. I put myself in a hot dog bun
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: with relish and mustard and took the picture and called
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: myself sin it it's saying wait till you get home
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: and get this foot loan. And I hit sin and
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: did not know? Man, I hit the wrong damn Jackie,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: And oh that was you heard what he said? Si jacket?
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: You can give us this response back. He's still alive.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: That's good, that's a good sign. But what did the
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: wrong Jackie say? Yeah, you got the wrong jacket, and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you know it was a friend of the family jacket.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Like when you get home, you're gonna get this foot loan.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: You got the wrong jacket. But where did you where
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: did you find where did you find him? Baby? Hot
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: dog bu got up, Steve, don't go along with him. No,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I've seen him at wends, but I just didn't never
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: know where to get him. Yeah, you know from Vienna Sausages.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: The worst text ever sit Oh, about five six years
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: ago and UH were in this group text me Rashaan
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: a couple other people and the exact could have produce
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: her to show. So the last text had came from Rashawn.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: So my executive producer is talking to me, and she's
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: a woman, and she's right in my face, and she
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: just talking to me, and she was so close to
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: my face. I picked my phone up and just text
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: back to Rashawn a man, come get her out your
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: end words face. She too damned close. Seeing I'm thinking,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I'm just sending it right back to Rashawn. It's in
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the group text. He got it too. She two inches
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: from my face. Her phone dings. She looks at it.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: It says, oh really, Shawan is running from the back
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: of the bus trying to stop her from looking at
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell happened. It's too late, dog,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I said that about her. It was right, she was
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: right there. I heard her phone go Dingda. She's getting
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: a texture coming out. More of today's trending stories on
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back at twenty
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kobe Bryant's fatal helicopter crash is
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: hitting close to home for Kylie Jenner. Kylie was a
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: frequent flyer on that particular chopper and even rented it
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: for one of Dreams birthdays. That's her niece, Rob's daughter Dream.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Kylie just broke her silence on the tragic accident that
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: killed Kobe, his thirteen year old daughter Gianna, and seven
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: other Sunday morning in Calabasas and said she knew the
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: pilot and said that hug your loved ones, you know.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: That was That was her takeaway from it, similar to yours, Steve.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Just hug your loved ones, um, you know, let them
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: know that you love them. Multiple multiple reports are saying
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: that one of the pilots said that the pilot on
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Kobe's flight was very experienced. He worked as a flight
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: instructor and knew the area very well. So they are
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: baffled about what went wrong. Yeah, I mean if you
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: but if you in that fog, it's foggy. Yeah, it's
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: rough man, that's it's from. Yeah, but you know, because
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I don't know exactly wait for the investigation. Yeah yeah,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: they were that. Yeah. You know again, our condolencence go
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: out to everyone involved. Um, and we'll have more of
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending news coming
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. That's right, Um,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to. The NBA has officially
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: postponed tonight to Lakers versus Clippers game at the Staples
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Center in Los Angeles. This is all, of course, out
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: of respect for the Lakers organization, which is reeling as
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: we all are, from the death of Kobe Bryant. The
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: decision was made out of respect for the Lakers organization,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: which is deeply grieving the tragic loss of Lakers legend
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven other people that
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: were in the helicopter crash on Sunday. The NBA set
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: in a statement the game will be rescheduled at a
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: later date. Lebron James was seen sobbing and crying when
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: he got off the Lakers team playing at lax On
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Sunday following a game in Brooklyn against the Nets, Several players, staffers,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: and other Lakers employees, many of whom have known Kobe
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: four years, are simply inconsolable. Of course, we know that
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Kobe played for the Lakers for twenty years and built
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: lasting relationships with so many people. These are the people
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: that knew him, you know, it hit the people that
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: didn't know him. I think that we're learning more and
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: more that he not only had an epic career, but
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: this brother had built an epic life. I think that's
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: what a lot of people are coming away with him
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: because like even the pictures, the big pictures that put
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: up on the billboards, you know, the chromatic billboards outside
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: of the lat Yeah, none of them are him in
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: a basketball jersey. It's him in a suit, you know,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: which is saying just him the man, not the player.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: The man is missing. And I think that I'm even learning.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Of course, you know, I knew him, but we weren't
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: like I said, we weren't. We didn't have each other
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: sale number, we didn't never called each other just every
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: time we saw each other. We had we had a
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: we had a mutually respectful conversation. I was complimentary of him.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: He was always complimented with me whenever we saw each other,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: and stay, I turned around. One time it was him,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I said, Momber. He turned around his meat And like
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I said, last time I saw him was not at
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: this past World Series, but the time before, and we
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: both had seats like right on the front road, right
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: behind the dug out of the Boston Red Sox. And
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: last time I saw him and his wife, and you know,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: it was just cool. I was leaving. My wife, said Steve.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: That's kobd. He said, Steve. I went out there in front,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you know a lot of people looking and stuff, you know,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: hugged him, shook his head and asking how the family
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: is doing, hugged his wife. That was the last time
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I ever spoke to it. But so I'm not sitting
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: up here trying to perpetrate like we was close friends,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: because we weren't. But what I'm learning even more and more,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: it's what I used to compliment him more about. He
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: really pulls his life together. I'm learning more and more
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of how great of a man he was community wise
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and especially as a father. All right, coming up our
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: last break of the day, and some closing remarks from
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: after the hour, right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day. Wow,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: we got through it. We got through it. Yeah another
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: day yeah yeah, lessons m h for sure. Um yeah.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: And to get us through the rest of the day.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Here's Steve with our closing remarks were today, Steve. Yeah,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: you know, Um, I know, I know everybody's focused on
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: the tragedy, but I want to go a different way here.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I want to remind everybody that all of us who
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: are here still have so much to live for events
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: as tragic as what happened to Kobe and his daughter
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: and other the people on that helicopter. And like I
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: said earlier, I am not one of those people who
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: pretend to know what God's will is or why God
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: does things sometimes the way he does, I don't know.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I've questioned him before when I lost my mother. I've
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: learned over years to not even question it because it's
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: really unapproachable. He's beyond reproach and I don't claim to
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: know what he does. But I do know this that
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: when a person is taken away that was of the
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: magnitude of this young brother, and it happened in such
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: a tragic way. I think what it does is it
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: makes everybody. It gets everybody's undivided attention, and however you
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: choose to analyze it. For you, if it means calling
