  Speaker 1: how bad the new poll numbers are for Democrats, specifically

  Speaker 4: One year from today, America will be going to the
• 3:54
  Speaker 4: polls to choose the president. And there are alarm bells
• 3:57
  Speaker 4: going off inside the White House this morning. There are
• 3:59
  Speaker 4: three big polls out about the race for the White House,
• 4:02
  Speaker 4: and none of it is good for Joe Biden. Race
• 4:05
  Speaker 4: for president is decided state by state, not nationally, So

  Speaker 4: this morning we want to focus on a series of

  Speaker 4: battleground state polls for the New York Times. In Nevada,
• 4:13
  Speaker 4: Trump leads by ten, leads by six in Georgia, five
• 4:17
  Speaker 4: in Arizona, five in Michigan, and four in Pennsylvania. Biden
• 4:22
  Speaker 4: has just a narrow two point lead in Wisconsin. Now,
• 4:25
  Speaker 4: Biden won all six of those states in twenty twenty
• 4:28
  Speaker 4: and likely needs to win at least four of them
• 4:30
  Speaker 4: to be re elected. And if you dig a little
• 4:32
  Speaker 4: deeper into the poll, things look even bleaker. Voters in
• 4:36
  Speaker 4: these six states say Biden's policies have hurt them personally,
• 4:39
  Speaker 4: and those numbers are flipped when you ask about Trump.

  Speaker 4: Most Saint Trump's policies have helped them personally. And then
• 4:46
  Speaker 4: there are huge cracks in the coalition that won Biden
• 4:48
  Speaker 4: the White House in twenty twenty. Yes, he's leading among
• 4:51
  Speaker 4: those demographics, but not by nearly as much as he
• 4:54
  Speaker 4: needs to be. He's ahead of Trump among young voters
• 4:57
  Speaker 4: in these battleground states by one point. Trump twenty two

  Speaker 4: percent of blackboards, which would be a historically huge measure
• 5:04
  Speaker 4: for a Republican, and the margins are small for Biden

  Speaker 4: among Hispanics and suburban voters.

  Speaker 3: unhappy with those poll numbers because it is bad news. Listen,

  Speaker 3: the Biden agenda is a train wreck. It is a mess.

  Speaker 3: The classic question for any election is are you better
• 6:02
  Speaker 3: off than you were four years ago? And for almost
• 6:05
  Speaker 3: any voter in the United States, the answer is hell no,

  Speaker 3: Like for everyone between inflation and crime and chaos at

  Speaker 3: our southern border, not to mention two wars across the

  Speaker 3: globe at America at greater jeopardy than we've ever seen

  Speaker 3: in our lifetimes, the answer unless you are an international

  Speaker 3: drug dealer or human trafficker, in which case the answer

  Speaker 3: is yes, your life is much better today than it

  Speaker 3: was four years ago, and you ought to vote for

  Speaker 3: Joe Biden. You're not a citizen, but who cares. He

  Speaker 1: is the Democratic Party has gotten so extreme. They're coming

  Speaker 1: after parents, They're coming after your kids. At universities and

  Speaker 1: public schools. They tried to push this transgenderism down our
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: throats and say, if you don't agree with it, we'll
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: try to ruin your business, ruin your family, ruin any
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: you know, school, or anybody that disagrees with us. We'll
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: try to kick you out of office. You've got Hollywood
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: that's all in on this. And then and then you
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: go back to what you just mentioned. This is a

  Speaker 1: moment where Democrats do you think they believe maybe they
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: went too far and they got a dial it back

  Speaker 1: and they've lost the country because they put all this

  Speaker 1: and implement it, and now it's such a disaster on

  Speaker 1: the average American family. And if they do parachute in

  Speaker 1: Michelle Obama, to be clear, she's just as bad, if

  Speaker 1: not worse, than Joe Biden. She's a woke person, she's
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: a Marxist, a socialist, however you want to describe her
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: with policies, that's what Obama is as well. But if
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: they parachute her in, it's about likability, right, She'll come
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: out as a mom, She'll say she wants this for
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: the country, and they parachute her into the convention and

  Speaker 1: she doesn't even have to talk policies. It's just likability, Like, hey,

  Speaker 1: do you like Oprah. Do you not like Oprah? It's like, hey,

  Speaker 1: do you like Michelle Obama? Do you not like Michelle Obama?

  Speaker 1: And then it's only what three month campaign? It would

  Speaker 1: be a scary yet brilliant move.

  Speaker 3: It would be a very scary move. And listened to

  Speaker 3: to be clear. You know, you asked our Dems getting

  Speaker 3: nervous they've gone too far left. I got to say,

  Speaker 3: if they are, I see no evidence of it. The

  Speaker 3: Democrats I served with in the Senate, they're still much
• 9:14
  Speaker 3: more afraid of being primary from the left than they
• 9:17
  Speaker 3: are of losing the general election. And it's because the

  Speaker 3: media has been corrupted. So this book Unwoke what it

  Speaker 3: examines how this happened, and it starts with the universities,
• 9:27
  Speaker 3: because Marxists always start by going after our kids. The
• 9:32
  Speaker 3: first chapter in the book is entitled Universities the Wuhan Lab,
• 9:38
  Speaker 3: the Wuhan lab of the woke virus. And that is
• 9:40
  Speaker 3: because universities are where the woke virus was created, that's
• 9:44
  Speaker 3: where it mutated, it's where it's spread. And the cultural Marxists,
• 9:49
  Speaker 3: beginning in the sixties and seventies, began seizing the universities
• 9:53
  Speaker 3: and raising up these campus radicals. But from there it's
• 9:57
  Speaker 3: spread to every other institution. So each chapter the book
• 10:01
  Speaker 3: focuses on a different American institution that the cultural Marxists
• 10:05
  Speaker 3: have seen. So it goes from the universities to K
• 10:07
  Speaker 3: through twelve education, to journalism, to big business, to big tech,
• 10:13
  Speaker 3: to entertainment including movies and TV and music and sports,
• 10:18
  Speaker 3: to science. Every one of these, one after the other
• 10:22
  Speaker 3: after the other. The cultural Marxists have seized. And so
• 10:26
  Speaker 3: you ask, are the Democrats worried they've gone too far left?

  Speaker 3: I don't think they are, because journalism has been corrupted,

  Speaker 3: so CNN no longer views its role as being an
• 10:36
  Speaker 3: actual journalist, as reporting on both sides. They are instead
• 10:40
  Speaker 3: explicitly propagandas they are Pravda. They are advocating a view
• 10:45
  Speaker 3: which is the left wing of the Democrat Party. And

  Speaker 3: so Democrats are incentivized to go hard left because they

  Speaker 3: will never be called out out by the corporate media

  Speaker 3: for doing it. And so what this book lay out

  Speaker 3: our strategies to fight back, how we can turn it around.

  Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about this election coming up. What do

  Speaker 1: you think the top issue is going to be for

  Speaker 1: the average American nationwide or or the top two. Is

  Speaker 1: it gonna be the economy stupid? Is it gonna be

  Speaker 1: this this agenda that in the in the extreme of

  Speaker 1: the socialism, or is it going to be like, hey,

  Speaker 1: cognitive decline of Joe Biden.

  Speaker 3: So look, we're a year out, and so it's always

  Speaker 3: hard to predict with certainty where things will be in

  Speaker 3: a year because there will be events in the world

  Speaker 3: that that that we can't predict right now. But the

  Speaker 3: question in every election is are you better off now
• 11:41
  Speaker 3: than you were four years ago? And perennially, the top

  Speaker 3: issue there is the economy and inflation out of control,

  Speaker 3: the cost of living. People are hurting.

  Speaker 3: It's more expensive to put food on your table, it's

  Speaker 3: more expensive to run the air conditioning and heat. It's

  Speaker 3: much more expensive to fill your car truck with gas.

  Speaker 3: That is impacting people in a very real sense. There's

  Speaker 3: also safety and security. Crime is skyrocketed. Everywhere. People feel unsafe,

  Speaker 3: They feel unsafe for their kids. Their kids are under assault.

  Speaker 3: The chaos of illegal immigration has become real and personal.
• 12:14
  Speaker 3: Eight million people crossing illegally into this country. They're now
• 12:17
  Speaker 3: flooding every city. When you've got the Democrat mayor of
• 12:20
  Speaker 3: New York saying illegal immigration is destroying New York City.
• 12:25
  Speaker 3: You know it has gotten bad. And then on foreign policy,
• 12:29
  Speaker 3: Look where foreign policy really matters. It is when people
• 12:32
  Speaker 3: again feel don't feel safe and secure, when they feel
• 12:37
  Speaker 3: like their families are threatened. Think about it. Three years ago,

  Speaker 3: Joe Biden inherited peace and prosperity. In just under three years,

  Speaker 3: with Joe Biden's weak and ineffective leadership, we now have

  Speaker 3: the largest land war in Europe since World War Two

  Speaker 3: and the worst attack on end in fifty years. We've

  Speaker 3: campus radicals on campus threatening Jewish students with violence. Anyone

  Speaker 1: Let's also talk about this, what's happening in Israel. And

  Speaker 1: I would argue woke ideology that you don't stand with Israel.

  Speaker 1: It's now become seeming a part, a bigger part of
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: the Democratic Party.

  Speaker 1: I never could have imagined a day that innocent people

  Speaker 1: could be butchered this way. Babies beheaded, infants, beheaded put

  Speaker 1: in ovens by Hamas. And yet there's a significant portion

  Speaker 1: of the Democratic Party that you serve with in Congress

  Speaker 1: that are behind them.

  Speaker 2: Is that part of.

  Speaker 1: The unwoke agenda? Are the woke agenda the Democratic Party

  Speaker 1: that you're warning about in the book.

  Speaker 3: of weeks ago, I was sitting down with a very

  Speaker 3: successful tech entrepreneur who's historically been quite left a center,

  Speaker 3: and he was expressing enormous dismay at the extreme anti

  Speaker 3: Semitism and hatred of Israel that is manifesting number one
• 14:16
  Speaker 3: in the Democrat Party in Congress with the squad and
• 14:19
  Speaker 3: the viciousness we're seeing, but number two on college campuses.

  Speaker 3: And he was saying, where did this come from? And
• 14:26
  Speaker 3: I explained it, you know, really in terms of the
• 14:28
  Speaker 3: book Unwoke, you know, it describes so Marxism, which derives
• 14:34
  Speaker 3: obviously from the teachings of Karl Marx. He frames the
• 14:38
  Speaker 3: world in terms of an inevitable conflict, and Marx broke
• 14:43
  Speaker 3: it down on socioeconomic terms. It's a conflict between the
• 14:46
  Speaker 3: oppressors and the victims. The oppressors in Marx's worldview are
• 14:50
  Speaker 3: the owners of capital and the victims of the proletariat,
• 14:53
  Speaker 3: the workers. And Marx's solution is a violent overthrow, a
• 14:59
  Speaker 3: revolution of the proletariat, the workers, seizing the capital and
• 15:04
  Speaker 3: the means of production, and relying on government to take
• 15:07
  Speaker 3: it forcibly from from the oppressors and give it to
• 15:11
  Speaker 3: the victims. That's that's plain vanilla Marxism. That's who who
• 15:15
  Speaker 3: burrowed into college campuses starting in the sixties and seventies.

  Speaker 3: What the cultural Marxist have done is taken that Marxist

  Speaker 3: worldview and they've applied it to cultures. So everything is
• 15:27
  Speaker 3: an inevitable battle between oppressors and victims. And their solution

  Speaker 3: they will make you comply. They will attack and undermine

  Speaker 3: the oppressors and forcibly benefit the victims. And I explained, Look,

  Speaker 3: in the cultural Marxist worldview, Jews are coded as oppressors.

  Speaker 3: horrific attacks and atrocities from Hamas because they're cheering them on. Look.

  Speaker 3: tweeted out the racist slogan of Hamas from the river

  Speaker 3: to the sea. Now what that means is from the

  Speaker 3: annihilate all of Israel, kill every Jew. It is a

  Speaker 3: boy who was un a company. There was a sixteen

  Speaker 3: year old girl who was unaccompanied. They all said they
• 19:55
  Speaker 3: were coming to America to meet their po and teos.

  Speaker 3: Of course spanished her uncle. And yet when you question

  Speaker 3: them about their TEO, they're like, oh, no, no, no,

  Speaker 3: my TEO doesn't know I'm coming. They just had a

  Speaker 3: her father. She was terrified. The look of terror in

  Speaker 3: firmly holding her right where she was so she couldn't move.

  Speaker 3: And this is a pattern we're seeing a lot. You know,

  Speaker 3: father of the child, they would DNA test them both

  Speaker 3: and they found about thirty percent of them were not
