- 2:02Speaker 8: I sure will come on to everybody you are listening
- 2:06Speaker 8: to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and only.
- 2:09Speaker 8: Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do
- 2:13Speaker 8: you understand that? I'm telling you? God been big in
- 2:16Speaker 8: my life. God, God is a gentleman.
- 2:19Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 8: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:22Speaker 8: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:28Speaker 8: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:34Speaker 8: He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 2: If you say you got it, I don't need you.
- 2:39Speaker 2: He lets you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:43Speaker 2: come see about me. He right there. It's just a
- 2:46Speaker 2: real simple thing, man.
- 2:49Speaker 8: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 8: into something, and please know I have I.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Man see that.
- 3:01Speaker 8: That's why I'm so adamant about it. Because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 8: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But I've been, I've been.
- 3:09Speaker 8: I've had some low moments, man, I've had some moments
- 3:12Speaker 8: where I did not know what to do. I didn't
- 3:17Speaker 8: know what was next, I didn't know how to go
- 3:20Speaker 8: about it. I didn't have no more ideas. I was stuck.
- 3:26Speaker 8: I thought a couple of times, well might not make
- 3:31Speaker 8: it past this one. But then if I don't make
- 3:34Speaker 8: it past it, what's gonna happen? And then I held
- 3:38Speaker 8: on to this little thing that my mother kept talking
- 3:40Speaker 8: to me about. She said, sometimes some when you ain't
- 3:44Speaker 8: got nothing else in you, just hope, she said, just
- 3:47Speaker 8: hope it'll be all right, you know. And what I've
- 3:50Speaker 8: learned in my life is that hope is the beginning
- 3:54Speaker 8: of faith. Hope is just is there a possibility out
- 3:59Speaker 8: there for me? I show hope something happened. See hope
- 4:06Speaker 8: is okay, man, Because like I say, for me, the
- 4:10Speaker 8: way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning of faith.
- 4:13Speaker 2: It was just the idea.
- 4:15Speaker 8: It's just the thought that something could change for me,
- 4:19Speaker 8: that something could be a little bit different from me,
- 4:22Speaker 8: that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason. I could
- 4:28Speaker 8: be saved, I could be rescued, things could turn around,
- 4:34Speaker 8: it could hit any other direction. Maybe I could quit
- 4:37Speaker 8: messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will
- 4:43Speaker 8: just say all right. I don't know, but I can't
- 4:46Speaker 8: count the times I've been in that position. But then
- 4:51Speaker 8: once I hope a little bit, and then I remember.
- 4:53Speaker 8: Also my mother, because she was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:57Speaker 8: she taught me the most valuable lesson I've ever learned
- 4:59Speaker 8: in my life. Nothing has been greater in my life
- 5:02Speaker 8: than my faith. She taught me to pray. Mama used
- 5:07Speaker 8: to say, when it get real, dog for your son,
- 5:10Speaker 8: prayer changes things. She said, When you seem like you
- 5:15Speaker 8: lost and you can't find your way, stop and pray,
- 5:19Speaker 8: she said, because prayer change is things. You know, when
- 5:23Speaker 8: you get a point in your life when you've done
- 5:24Speaker 8: all you can do and you can't do no more
- 5:27Speaker 8: and you just don't know what to do next, she said, stop, son,
- 5:31Speaker 8: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got.
- 5:39Speaker 8: She said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:42Speaker 2: She said.
- 5:43Speaker 8: If you pray just hoping, she said, to God, come
- 5:47Speaker 8: through for you. That'll give you confidence that he can
- 5:50Speaker 8: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 8: she saying, you start believing, she said, And that's when
- 5:58Speaker 8: you're on to something. If you can turn that hope
- 6:02Speaker 8: into belief, that hope into Faith's that's the ability to
- 6:13Speaker 8: believe in something that you can't see.
- 6:16Speaker 2: But the key though, the faith is you're believing in
- 6:19Speaker 2: something that you can't see. See. Hoping a little bit
- 6:23Speaker 2: different from me now, I'm pretty sure.
- 6:25Speaker 8: Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot of people
- 6:27Speaker 8: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
- 6:29Speaker 8: can to you, hope is just kind of I don't
- 6:33Speaker 8: know how to I don't know how to say it,
- 6:34Speaker 8: but I'm just telling you, hope is you're just hoping
- 6:37Speaker 8: it work.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You just have a thought in your mind that you know, man.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Whoever you are, or whoever you are, whatever you are,
- 6:45Speaker 8: to me, God, I show hope something change.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Hope helps. Man. If you ain't strong enough to have faith,
- 6:53Speaker 2: have hope.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Hope, and then if you pray with some hope and
- 7:01Speaker 8: God answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 7:07Speaker 8: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now the
- 7:13Speaker 8: ain't just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something
- 7:17Speaker 8: that I cannot see. Faith has been the key to
- 7:25Speaker 8: my entire existence, even when I didn't have any It
- 7:31Speaker 8: was faith, as I look back on it, that has
- 7:35Speaker 8: gotten me here. And not just faith, but my faith. See,
- 7:43Speaker 8: you will only get to where you're going in your
- 7:46Speaker 8: life based on your faith.
- 7:51Speaker 2: See. A lot of people get the word faith confused,
- 7:54Speaker 2: like what's your faith?
- 7:55Speaker 8: And then they start going down this whole list of
- 7:58Speaker 8: all these different religions out here.
- 8:01Speaker 2: But really an essence, man, when.
- 8:03Speaker 8: I talk to people about faith, I'm talking to you
- 8:05Speaker 8: about your your belief.
- 8:10Speaker 2: How much do you believe in the unseen? See? Faith
- 8:16Speaker 2: is the core of all that is happening to me today.
- 8:21Speaker 8: It is the faith that I have in my relationship
- 8:24Speaker 8: with God that enables me to just oftentimes if I
- 8:30Speaker 8: stay on the right course and believe a certain way
- 8:34Speaker 8: and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 2: They just come.
- 8:41Speaker 8: And it comes in a lot of little ways too.
- 8:44Speaker 8: I've started to notice. See, it ain't just a lot
- 8:46Speaker 8: of people think blessings is money, Nah, man, that ain't it.
- 8:50Speaker 8: It's coverage. It's every time my plane lands safe, It's
- 8:55Speaker 8: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:58Speaker 8: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 9:02Speaker 2: You know this is this is favor. These are blessings
- 9:06Speaker 2: that get poured out to me.
- 9:07Speaker 8: Somebody call me and offer me something, not money, but
- 9:11Speaker 8: an opportunity.
- 9:14Speaker 2: See, blessings come a lot of ways.
- 9:17Speaker 8: But once you tie in to God, Once you tie
- 9:21Speaker 8: in and you start doing the best you can do,
- 9:25Speaker 8: and you start asking for Him to make you a
- 9:27Speaker 8: better person, to help shape and mold you into the
- 9:31Speaker 8: kind of man or person that he wants you to be.
- 9:35Speaker 8: You be amazed what God can do with you. Man,
- 9:37Speaker 8: if you just invite me in and allow him to
- 9:40Speaker 8: be a part of your life. I mean, what you
- 9:42Speaker 8: got to lose out there? Come on, why would you
- 9:46Speaker 8: not change? Why would you not allow God to be
- 9:49Speaker 8: a part of your life? God got some big plans
- 9:52Speaker 8: for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking up
- 9:59Speaker 8: show Ladies and gentlemen, The time is here, another day,
- 10:04Speaker 8: another opportunity. I can't tell you how glad I am
- 10:06Speaker 8: about it. Man, set up this morning, told God how
- 10:09Speaker 8: grateful I was? You not really want to thank God
- 10:11Speaker 8: for this peace of mind that I have?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Of late?
- 10:15Speaker 8: I've just gotten into a just a real realm of peace.
- 10:20Speaker 8: You know, I don't I don't worry about tomorrow. I
- 10:23Speaker 8: stopped doing that I could. Y'all really don't know how
- 10:26Speaker 8: I feel about my past. I really have left it go.
- 10:30Speaker 8: And uh, why the thing like you were about to say,
- 10:33Speaker 8: I give lixt B because I.
- 10:36Speaker 9: Be wanting to.
- 10:39Speaker 8: Don't fit into praise and worship, you know that don't
- 10:43Speaker 8: tie in together. I had to catch myself sometimes because
- 10:46Speaker 8: I'll be combined the holy in the hood and it's
- 10:50Speaker 8: always right there next to each other because oh, both
- 10:53Speaker 8: of them start.
- 10:54Speaker 2: With h O, and so I get on you know,
- 10:57Speaker 2: you know, and so that's all it is. Beyone.

- 20:46Speaker 2: I don't know nobody got it locked down me.
- 20:50Speaker 12: You're the king there you go, all right, nephew, thank you.
- 20:55Speaker 7: Coming up next to this, ask the CLO our chief
- 20:58Speaker 7: Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 21:00Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 21:03Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:04Speaker 7: In entertainment News, Carla has Today's music News plus R
- 21:09Speaker 7: and B. Singer Omarian opens up about his celibacy journey,
- 21:13Speaker 7: and Beyonce launches a whiskey line with Moay Hennessy. And
- 21:17Speaker 7: we'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:19Speaker 7: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:21Speaker 7: ask the CLO. This is from Shannon and Athens. Shannon says,
- 21:26Speaker 7: I'm so torn about breaking up with my man. I
- 21:30Speaker 7: know I shouldn't leave him when he's down, but he's
- 21:33Speaker 7: broke and I don't do broke. He made a bad
- 21:37Speaker 7: investment and lost his savings after he said himself that
- 21:40Speaker 7: it looked shady. Now he's depressed and leaning heavily on me.
- 21:44Speaker 7: I don't think we should get married. Do you agree?
- 21:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:47Speaker 2: I agree one hundred percent.
- 21:49Speaker 8: You already fitting to leave and you ain't married, so
- 21:54Speaker 8: why would you get married and you trying to leave
- 21:57Speaker 8: before you married?
- 21:59Speaker 2: You don't even understand the wedding vows.
- 22:03Speaker 8: You've already you y'all in violation, you know, for richer
- 22:07Speaker 8: off of poor. You are just said you don't do broke.
- 22:12Speaker 8: So now your man can't ever fall on hard time,
- 22:15Speaker 8: which is why there are some women like you, sister,
- 22:19Speaker 8: who wrote this letter, who gonna be by yourself forever.
- 22:23Speaker 8: You don't want to stand by a man that's on
- 22:27Speaker 8: the come up and the hustle.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Everybody wants a rich.
- 22:31Speaker 8: Man, Well get in line, because that line is long,
- 22:36Speaker 8: Or should you find a good man that has come
- 22:40Speaker 8: up potential? Get in there and support and build something together.
- 22:43Speaker 8: But naw, you don't want to do that because you
- 22:45Speaker 8: don't do broke. Well, I'm sorry, most men, we don't
- 22:51Speaker 8: do shady, we don't do disloyalty. We don't do one
- 22:56Speaker 8: fit in, one foot out. So go on about your business.
- 22:59Speaker 8: Leave this man alone, for you wreck his life because
- 23:03Speaker 8: that you don't have the qualities. I'm just being real.
- 23:07Speaker 8: You don't have the quality. Just be nobody wife. You
- 23:10Speaker 8: don't because if you ain't gonna stand by your man
- 23:14Speaker 8: through thick or thin, because when you get married, it's
- 23:16Speaker 8: gonna be thick and thin. This ain't just finna be thick.
- 23:22Speaker 8: You don't get married and it just be thick. Dog,
- 23:26Speaker 8: you don't get married and it all go good?
- 23:29Speaker 2: What true?
- 23:32Speaker 4: Man?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Every marriage hit them financial pockets and stuff. You don't.
- 23:36Speaker 4: You don't do that.
- 23:37Speaker 2: So just go on bout your business.
- 23:40Speaker 8: Need that man alone because you don't have qualities to
- 23:46Speaker 8: be in a committed relationship with no man.
- 23:49Speaker 2: You really don't. You really really don't.
- 23:52Speaker 12: Okay, Moving on to Carlos in Houston.
- 23:55Speaker 7: Carlos says, I have an old school car and I
- 23:57Speaker 7: let my son take it on campus to stunt. He
- 24:00Speaker 7: brought it back with a stain on the front seat
- 24:02Speaker 7: and the floor mat I made him give me two
- 24:04Speaker 7: hundred dollars to get it cleaned, and my wife got
- 24:06Speaker 7: mad when I took his money.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Did I do the right thing?
- 24:10Speaker 8: Yeah, because it's called responsibility. Things happened, you know, when
- 24:16Speaker 8: you damage stuff, somebody got to get it fixed. See
- 24:19Speaker 8: that you went up there to stunt. Now you're stunting.
- 24:23Speaker 8: You nestain the man's car. It's two hundred dollars. You
- 24:26Speaker 8: took his money.
- 24:27Speaker 2: He took your car. See, and you don't get to
- 24:32Speaker 2: drive it no more. You don't get to drive it
- 24:34Speaker 2: no more. That's it. But ladies, But ladies. I'm not
- 24:37Speaker 2: coming down on ladies today. But let me say so.
- 24:40Speaker 8: If you got a man that you married, you obviously
- 24:43Speaker 8: married him because you like some qualities about him. If
- 24:46Speaker 8: he's trying to impart these qualities on y'all's boy, please
- 24:50Speaker 8: allow him to do so. Because I have news for you.
- 24:55Speaker 8: You have no idea how to turn this boy into
- 24:58Speaker 8: a man. Calls you ain't a man. I have no
- 25:04Speaker 8: idea how to turn a little girl into a woman
- 25:08Speaker 8: because I have no idea. So now that there is
- 25:14Speaker 8: a difference between the two, let the man do his
- 25:17Speaker 8: job in raising a responsible, accountable young man.
- 25:22Speaker 2: It get out the way. He shouldn't have took his money.
- 25:24Speaker 2: He took his daddy car.
- 25:27Speaker 12: And it teaches him a lesson.
- 25:29Speaker 7: Yeah, responsibility, all right, Okay, Moving on to and New Rochelle,
- 25:39Speaker 7: Delenda writes, I married a man. I met a married
- 25:43Speaker 7: man on social media and he DMed me to see
- 25:46Speaker 7: if my husband and I were into swinging my husband's down.
- 25:50Speaker 7: But I'm skeptical because I don't really know them. Should
- 25:52Speaker 7: we meet them out first to see if they're a
- 25:55Speaker 7: cool couple?
- 25:57Speaker 2: Over that? Should it start over some starting?
- 26:00Speaker 5: You miss that?

- 26:06Speaker 7: met him. I met a married man on social media
- 26:09Speaker 7: and he DMed me to see if my husband and
- 26:12Speaker 7: I were into swinging my husband's down.
- 26:15Speaker 12: But I'm skeptical because I don't really know them. Should
- 26:18Speaker 12: we meet them out first to see if they're a
- 26:21Speaker 12: cool couple?
- 26:23Speaker 8: Oh no, no, no, don't go out and meet them first.
- 26:25Speaker 8: Just go to the swinging spot immediately. It's just go
- 26:29Speaker 8: on in cold Turkey. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he ain't
- 26:34Speaker 8: no need of meeting them, ain't no need of meeting them.

- 54:30Speaker 7: All right, thank you, nephew. The subject is everything is
- 54:33Speaker 7: a minor inconvenience, Dear Stephen Shirley, Everything is a minor
- 54:37Speaker 7: inconvenience for my husband, and I need to see if
- 54:40Speaker 7: something is going on with him outside of our household.
- 54:44Speaker 7: He used to love doing everything with me. He used
- 54:47Speaker 7: to initiate intimacy and afterwards he would always get up
- 54:52Speaker 7: and cook breakfast, no matter what time of day or
- 54:55Speaker 7: night it was. That was our little fun time. He
- 54:58Speaker 7: wanted to have a lot of kids before we got married,
- 55:00Speaker 7: but now he's saying that he doesn't know if we
- 55:03Speaker 7: can afford to start a family. He said that babies
- 55:05Speaker 7: take up a lot of time and are inconvenient most
- 55:09Speaker 7: of the time. That broke my heart, because how can
- 55:12Speaker 7: a child be inconvenient. He's been saying crazy stuff like this,
- 55:16Speaker 7: and I've been taking mental notes. I've asked him to
- 55:19Speaker 7: go look at TV's with me at his favorite electronics store.
- 55:22Speaker 12: He said he'd already put on this lounge on his
- 55:25Speaker 12: lounging clothes, so my timing was inconvenient for him.
- 55:28Speaker 7: Same thing with sex. The other night, I mentioned that
- 55:31Speaker 7: we haven't had sex in a week. He said that
- 55:34Speaker 7: I come to bed too late, and it's a minor
- 55:36Speaker 7: inconvenience to get himself in the mood that late. We
- 55:39Speaker 7: never had this problem before. We finally did have sex
- 55:43Speaker 7: two nights ago, and he went to sleep. I woke
- 55:46Speaker 7: him up and asked why he didn't go cook for us,
- 55:48Speaker 7: and he said that we need to get new ways
- 55:50Speaker 7: of doing things because cooking all hours of the night
- 55:53Speaker 7: is inconvenient.
- 55:54Speaker 12: This is his new thing.
- 55:56Speaker 7: Everything is a minor inconvenience. Does this include me and
- 56:00Speaker 7: our marriage? I want to ask him, but I'm afraid
- 56:03Speaker 7: of the answer. Seems to me like he's focused on
- 56:06Speaker 7: something outside of our marriage that's more convenient for him.
- 56:09Speaker 7: What's going on, Well, you left the timeline out of
- 56:13Speaker 7: this letter, but it does sound like you might have
- 56:17Speaker 7: something here. You might be onto something. He's no longer
- 56:20Speaker 7: into you. It sounds like he's checked out of this marriage.
- 56:23Speaker 7: He's done everything to show you that he doesn't want
- 56:26Speaker 7: to be with you, he doesn't want to have children
- 56:28Speaker 7: with you, he doesn't want to talk to you, or
- 56:30Speaker 7: he doesn't even he's not even thinking about you. I mean,
- 56:33Speaker 7: everything is an inconvenience, Like he's saying, I hate this
- 56:37Speaker 7: for you, because this sudden change in his behavior, it
- 56:39Speaker 7: has to hurt. But you can't just sit back and
- 56:42Speaker 7: allow him to treat you this way, for you to
- 56:45Speaker 7: become a minor inconvenience to him. You say you don't
- 56:48Speaker 7: want to talk to him because you don't want to
- 56:49Speaker 7: hear the answer, but you've got to face the truth.
- 56:52Speaker 7: You've got to hear it. You've got to face this
- 56:54Speaker 7: fear that you have. You've got to prepare yourself if
- 56:57Speaker 7: he's cheating or if he wants out. It does sound
- 57:01Speaker 7: like something is going on outside of your marriage. It
- 57:03Speaker 7: might be cheating, that's what it sounds like. He will
- 57:05Speaker 7: probably lie if you confront him about that, but you
- 57:08Speaker 7: need to know what's going on so you can take
- 57:10Speaker 7: care of yourself. And you should be doing that of
- 57:13Speaker 7: course anyway, because no matter what, you don't deserve this
- 57:17Speaker 7: being a minor inconvenience to your husband in this marriage, Steve.
- 57:22Speaker 8: Whenever something is wrong in a marriage, why is the
- 57:27Speaker 8: go to answer? It sounds like he's cheating, because I don't.
- 57:33Speaker 8: I don't hear cheating in this letter anywhere. She didn't
- 57:38Speaker 8: find no number. He ain't hanging up, He ain't she
- 57:42Speaker 8: ain't changed, He ain't changed his cold, He ain't having
- 57:46Speaker 8: no quiet conversations on the side nowhere. He ain't missing
- 57:50Speaker 8: at night. He don't stay away for hours and come
- 57:54Speaker 8: come home. I don't hear in this letter anywhere. Sounds
- 57:59Speaker 8: like he cheating to me, So ladies help me? Or
- 58:03Speaker 8: I don't want to say Shirley because she's had her
- 58:05Speaker 8: turn with the letter and I don't want her to
- 58:07Speaker 8: interrupt me.
- 58:08Speaker 2: So just ladies help me slash Shirley. Why is it dad?
- 58:15Speaker 8: As soon as something is wrong in a marriage, it
- 58:19Speaker 8: sounds like cheating to me. I'll give you an example.
- 58:23Speaker 8: I was watching this young guy on Instagram. I love
- 58:26Speaker 8: this dude. I don't even know his name. He's got
- 58:29Speaker 8: a beard, wireframed glasses, he wear a knit skull cap
- 58:32Speaker 8: all the time. He was had this dude on stage,
- 58:36Speaker 8: and the dude said, women, how many of you all
- 58:38Speaker 8: believe in women's intuition. They all raised their hand. They said, well,
- 58:44Speaker 8: then if y'all's intuition, if y'all can tell when a
- 58:48Speaker 8: man is cheating, yep, yep, they all raise their hand.
- 58:51Speaker 8: He said, Okay, then why can't you tell if he's
- 58:54Speaker 8: not happy? Because this letter could be just a man
- 59:00Speaker 8: that has grown discontent and unhappy with something. And that's
- 59:06Speaker 8: where I think the focus should be, because it don't
- 59:08Speaker 8: sound to me like he's cheating. But let's go through
- 59:12Speaker 8: the letter and see if I feel the same way.
- 59:15Speaker 8: After I analyze the letter. Everything is a minor inconvenience
- 59:20Speaker 8: for my husband. I need to see if there's something
- 59:23Speaker 8: going on with him outside our household.
- 59:27Speaker 2: He used to love doing everything with me.
- 59:29Speaker 8: He used to initiate intimacy and afterwards he would always
- 59:32Speaker 8: get up and cook breakfast, no matter what time of
- 59:34Speaker 8: day or that way.
- 59:35Speaker 2: It was our little fun time.
- 59:37Speaker 8: He wanted to have a lot of kids before we
- 59:39Speaker 8: got married, but now he's saying he don't know if
- 59:42Speaker 8: we can afford to start a family. Okay, now, on
- 59:46Speaker 8: a serious note, you know what that sounds like to me?
- 59:49Speaker 8: Sounds like the reality of what life really is. Is
- 59:54Speaker 8: starting to sit in. See, I've seen a lot of
- 59:57Speaker 8: men lose their dreams lie along the way. You gotta
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: be careful, ladies, because maybe your man is losing his
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: dream along the way from disappointments or something. So he
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: used to look up though everything with me, used to
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: initiate into me seeing all like this. She wasn't saying,
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: And surely's right. There's some timeline missing in here. She
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: wasn't saying if this was before they got married, after
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: they got married, and he wanted to have a lot
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: of kids before we got married. Now he's saying he
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: don't know if he can afford to start of him.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: He said, the babies take up a lot of time
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: and on inconvenient most of the time.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: That broke my heart. How can a child be inconvenient? Now,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: wait a minute, I'm just gonna tell you something that
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: is a true statement.
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: Hang on, see, well, let me.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Just put that out there. The ass is very inconvenient.
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: At twenty three minutes after the hour, today's Strawberry letter
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: subject is everything.
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: Is a minor inconvenience. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: after this.
- 1:00:56Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show, all right, Come on, Steve.
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is everything is
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: a minor inconvenience.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Well, like I said at the top of the show,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: you know what I mean. At the top of this letter.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: You know, Shirley was saying, it sounds like he's cheating me.
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: But I want to warn ladies, every time a man
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: changes or and is unhappy, it doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating.
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: It could be this man has become despondent, broken a bit.
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: He could be, you know, going through some mental stuff.
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: You know, he got nowhere to channel his stuff. So
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: I'm just trying to read the letter and see if
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: that's what I see cheating or do I see something else.
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: He used to love doing everything with me. He used
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: to initiate intimacy and afterwards he would always get up
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: and cook breakfast, no matter what time of day or
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: night it was. That was our little fun time.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: He wanted to have a lot of kids before we
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: got married. But now he's saying he don't know if
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: we can afford to start a family. Something could be
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: going on with this guy in his mindset that's making
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: him think he ain't got his money and order yet
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: he ain't accomplishing his dreams yet, he ain't where he
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: want to be yet. That could be I just want
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: to throw that out there. He said, babies take up
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: a lot of time on inconvenience most of the time.
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: That broke my heart, because how can the child be inconvenient.
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: I'm just gonna say something for him on this one.
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: Right here, They ass is very inconvenient. I'm just gonna
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: tell you that right now. They ass is always blocking,
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: They in the way. I'm just gonna keep it one
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: hundred with you. Them babies is an inconvenience. You believe
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: that he just said it out loud. You just didn't
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: like the use of the terminology. He's been saying crazy
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: stuff like this, and I've been taking mental notes. I
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: asked him to go to look at TV's with me
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: at his favorite electronics store. He said he'd already put
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: on his lounge and clothes, so my timing was inconvenient.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Okay, that could be true.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: But if my wife tell me she gonna cat me
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: down somewhere to buy me a new car or something
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: like that, I'm gonna put my damn clothes on. I'm
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: going ahead and put something on I'm going down to
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: the damn stoke were going shopping for me. I'm going
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: down there, person, So I'll put some damn clothes on. Anyway,
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: same thing with sex. The other night, I mentioned that
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: we haven't had sex in a week.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: A week.
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: You ain't had sex in a week. Here, y'all doing
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: up in there, y'all, y'all gotta go. There's on and crackit.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: Y'all must be in your twenties, right, Yeah, I can
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: type this damn letter. Damn there once a month, you know,
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: and sex in a week, And.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: And I had this let out every damn month. That's
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: what you want. We ain't have sex in a week.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: He said that I come to bed too late, and
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: it's a minor inconvenience to get himself in the mood
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: that late. Yeah, and now hear it, Nah, this is
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: the part of the letter that well got love. Yeah,
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: I can't save you on this one.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: Dog.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: You know, I was with you with everything else.
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: But he said it's a minor inconvenience to get himself
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: in the mood that late. It's an inconvenience to get
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: in the mood. Now, let me say if I can
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: put this so I'm not being graphic for morning radio.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: You're trying to tell me that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: To get in the mood, I must get excited. You're
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: telling me that's an inconvenience. Boy, Bye, excite me, do
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: something to me.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: Matter of fact, I got a surprise for you. You
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: ain't gonna be how excited. You ain't gonna be how
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: excited I am. So that was the only one that
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: threw me. We never had this problem before. We finally
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: did have sex two nights ago, and he went to sleep.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: I woke come up and ask him why he ain't
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: gonna cook?
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: For Hell, it's hard to cook when you sleep.
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: You walk the damn man up and saying, why are
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: you gonna get cooked? Why don't you cook for because
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: he sleep? That's what most men do when they get through.
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: I ain't never got up wood and cooked. I go
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: to sleep, but he does.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Not no more.
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: And now he said that he needed to get new
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: ways of doing things because cooking all hours of night
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: is inconvenient. This is his new thing. See I think
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: what didn't happen here? You know how some women change
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: after they get married. Sometimes dudes change after they get married.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: This dude could be going through some male menopause, or
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: he could be going through some male hormonal disorders.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't have none of that. You know,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: he could if he's sick well, but if he's six though,
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: he But if he's sick though, the cure all for
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: sickness is sex. So every time I got some bad
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: news from the doctor.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: If you tap me and straighten me out, I'll be fine.
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: Everything is a mind inconvenience. Does this include me and
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: our marriage? I want to ask him, but I'm afraid
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: of the answer. It seems to me like he's focused
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: on something outside.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Of our marriage. It's more convenient for him. What's going on?
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: All I think you need to do is ask that
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: question that you are afraid of, because ain't no need
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: of you living behind that curtain and the veil of secrecy.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: So go on and ask him. It can't get no worse.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: If he tell you he got something down the street,
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: then let him cares ass down the street. But set
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: his Car'll find all the clumbes.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: You ain't got the window, all right.

- 1:08:56Speaker 11: for the rest of the season.

- 1:10:28Speaker 7: A woman on social media needs your advice, Steve. She says,
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: should we even bother getting married? We'll talk about it
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: right after this you're listening.
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Stee.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: This is from Ashley on Facebook. Ashley says, my boyfriend
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: and I have been together for over ten years and
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: have two children together. We're totally committed to one another
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: and have talked about getting married one day, But now
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: that we're so far along.
- 1:10:54Speaker 12: In our relationship, I wonder if it's even worth it.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Neither of us are very religious or very conventional, and
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: we both feel like we don't necessarily need a piece
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: of paper or title to legitimize legitimize our relationship.
- 1:11:07Speaker 12: Are we missing anything? Is there any benefit to us
- 1:11:11Speaker 12: getting married?
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: Well, the last name of the children is one of
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: the things I would think of, and I don't want
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: you to be so selfish that you don't think about
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: the children, because children, really it's really nice if you
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: can provide them with the family structure, with the family dynamics.
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: This is your mommy, I'm married to mom. Mom is
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: married to dad, because that kind of sets an example
- 1:11:37Speaker 8: of what your children will see. And so, but what
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: a lot of women do is you all go along
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: with these We don't need a piece of paper because
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: you ain't getting no ring anyway, you know. So they
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: all sit up here and settle for this. We don't
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: seem to need it. Where'd you get that from him?
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: See? You know, stop stop letting people put in your space.
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: They little shortcomings and beliefs, and then and then you
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: gotta adapt to it if you want to be with them. No,
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: you always wanted to be married since you were a
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: little girl. Now you have met this man and set
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: up here and convinced you that you don't need a
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: piece of paper. It ain't gonna make a difference. Well,
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: if it ain't gonna make a difference, then let's get.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: One right, let's see yeah you know you know?
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: Or or is it really that he don't want to
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: do that? See, don't don't get this thing twisted?
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: So is there an advantage to being Well, most people
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: get married get divorced. That's because you're married for the
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: wrong reasons. You know what I've been trying to explain
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: to people. Stop looking for a man that's dying to
- 1:12:46Speaker 8: get you. Find you a man that's willing to die
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: to keep you. That's what your ass is looking for.
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: Everybody one, Quit looking for a man that's dying to
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: get you, and find a man that.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Had died you.
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: Y'all in be looking, y'all ain't going deep enough in
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: these relationship hunts. You know everybody won't you you fine,
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: you're cute, you're single. Oh okay, yeah, we dying to
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: get you. But will he die to keep you?
- 1:13:17Speaker 15: Man?
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: You know what my mother in law told told me
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: one time.
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: She said, me and Bubba decided that divorce just was
- 1:13:23Speaker 8: never an option, and it caused us to sit there
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: and work through some stuff, and you to stay married.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: You got to work through some stuff. This ain't easy, man.
- 1:13:34Speaker 8: I don't care what you see on Instagram. Ain't nobody
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: got no perfect levee w relationship with just all of it. No,
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: they at the house going through some things. Believe that
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: I don't care who they are. You have bishop in
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: front of your name, a CEO, you can have a billionaire,
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: you all that doctor? You have all I don't care
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: what you got in your name. You can have a
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: star your as a stall the sidewalk out there. Trust me,
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: it's something in that marriage that's the challenge and you
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: gotta work through it.
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: Yeah, here's another one.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Steve B.
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: Says, I've been seeing this woman for about six months,
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: and I think she's amazing. Because of our work schedules,
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: we don't get to spend as much time as i'd
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: like together, but we see each other once or twice
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: every couple of weeks. She's quite impressive and I really
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: think I'm falling for her. So when we get together,
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: I find myself being overly nervous, and when we have sex,
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: I'm sometimes so nervous that I worry I'm not going
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: to be able to perform my best.
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: So here's a question.
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: How can I learn to relax a bit so I
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: can enjoy bedroom time with my girlfriend more.
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: I ain't got no answer for you gonna be nervous
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: just going there till you get used to it, you' bi,
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: but you need some supplements you need well.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: The first two times in I'll give Dann what you take.
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: The first few times it's snap, crackle, pop baby Rice
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: Christmas and you don't even need milk on rice Christmas
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: to hear the noise. You can put tap water on
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: the same thing. We just you know, it's just like that.
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: You know, sometimes they'd be so fine. Dog, ain't that
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: you could do? It just happened for it supposed to happen.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: That's all Allo, all right, we'll have more Steve Harvey
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after.
- 1:15:19Speaker 12: Right after now, I'm.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Gonna tell you off what he needed to do.
- 1:15:22Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: All right, let's talk about fatherhood at fifty. According to
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: a new study, more men are waiting until their fifties
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: to start families. Researchers at Stanford University found that the
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: guys getting a later start as fathers aren't all rich
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: or famous. Instead, they're diverse group with different racial backgrounds
- 1:15:46Speaker 7: and education levels, ranging from college professors to blue collar workers.
- 1:15:50Speaker 12: And so here's the question, how old is too old?
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: I mean, what sounds more challenging being a father and
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: chasing a baby around at the age of fifty something
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: or attend your kids high school graduation while you're in
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: your seventies.
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: Mo for me?
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Tall, Because when you're taking the graduation picture. Everybody going
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: to want to meet your granddaddy. That's live. When they
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: find out that's your damn daddy, that's a whole enough conversation.
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: Oh sorry, then y'all got to stop all this Me
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: and me and y'all gotta stop all this waiting to
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: have these kids late in life.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Now, they ain't got.
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: Nobody walk them down the hill, ain't got nobody take
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: them to the football game. Cause your answers that sitting
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: up in here talking about you will never hear him
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: say one day I want to meet your children.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Boy, you better hope you see his ass get out
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: of kindergard.
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: Robert Mayrow and all the people that put but Michael
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: Doug listen, Robert, they ain't finish see nothing.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: They may not even teach this boy how to drive.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: They so fifteen sixteen. They're not gonna make it to
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: that age. Not if you had to make. When you
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: ate a hell number one, you've probably forgot how to try.
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: Come up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: play another round.
- 1:17:07Speaker 12: And would you rather right after this.
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show, it is time now.
- 1:17:14Speaker 12: For a rounded? Would you rather guys? Would you rather
- 1:17:17Speaker 12: pay or get paid every time you have sex?
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Play that again?
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: What would you rather pay or would you rather get
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: paid every time you had sex?
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: No, I better pay.
- 1:17:30Speaker 11: I better pay the stake because if I'm getting paid,
- 1:17:32Speaker 11: you're gonna have some refunds in here.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: I don't want any money back.
- 1:17:41Speaker 11: Dissatisfied customer after dissatisfied customer.
- 1:17:44Speaker 12: Up, Lord, don't sit up, Tommy, pay or get paid.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: I think I'll better pay. I ain't gonna get paid.

- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Now here? Can't teach your old dog new tricks.
- 1:18:29Speaker 14: You heard that?
- 1:18:30Speaker 12: Would you rather be friends with?
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Pay one for what?
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: Hell?
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: I'm the happiest one to be in here anyway, I
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: just continue to pay.
- 1:18:38Speaker 12: I'm trying to move on.
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: I am Would you rather be friends with someone you
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: love or would you rather be friends with someone you hate?
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: That makes no sense? That don't make no sense. If
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: I hate you, how we friends.
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: You still have to be their friend. Would you rather
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: would you rather be friends someone you hate friends with?
- 1:19:01Speaker 10: Before you asked these, I don't make this and you
- 1:19:07Speaker 10: don't want it just didn't make sense.
- 1:19:10Speaker 12: But okay, okay, so you'd rather be friends with someone
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: you love? It sounds like all right.
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: Would you rather get rich in a way that disappoints
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: your family or would you rather just make enough money
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: to get by?
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: What could I be doing that's gonna disappoint them? I
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: started that twenty five years ago.
- 1:19:32Speaker 12: Disappointed all your family?
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: They't They don't want me to do stand up.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: They want to be something else.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Oh okay, if I'm rich, to hell with everybody?
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: You don't care what you're doing. You don't care.
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell you right now. We can have disappointment
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: dinners every Sunday.
- 1:19:53Speaker 9: That's what you want.
- 1:19:54Speaker 8: We rich, y'all can all come by the house and
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: we can have disappointed dinners own sunday. I don't give
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: a damn how you feel about me, man, Please, you
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: think I ain't already experienced that.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: When you get through hating me, what do you want?
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: I can't stand you. I guess we can't get no
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: money to you that he's sitting over there, no big
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: old house. He always going on vacation. Don't never take us. Okay,
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: what you want? Can I hold four hundred dollars?
- 1:20:30Speaker 12: That's today's rounded, would you rather?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Thanks?
- 1:20:33Speaker 12: Guys?
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: Coming up at forty nine minutes after it's our last
- 1:20:36Speaker 7: break of the day, and we'll close out the show
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:41Speaker 9: You're listening Hary Morning Show.
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: the day on this Thursday, and Steve, I know you
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: have some.
- 1:20:51Speaker 12: Words of wisdom to take us out.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: Well, you know, oh.
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: Just said you know, we've been talking about the voting,
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: and that's him important. That's one of the most important
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: things we could do in twenty twenty four. And in
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: terms of vote politics, it's not more important than your family,
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: It's not more important than your relationships.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: I got that.
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: I'm just talking about for politically, it's the most important
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: thing we could do. But I want to remind people
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: about something. You know so many times, you know, I
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: learned that the what am I trying to say? Just
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: saying that I learn Oh, the biggest thief of joy
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: is comparison. The biggest thief of joy is comparison. If
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: you want to steal your joy, compare yourself to other people.
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: If you want to really mess your day up, look
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: at somebody doing better than you and start one and
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: why you ain't doing that well. Comparison is the number
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: one thief of joy because you know what, people don't
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: understand what you really have to do. Look, your competition
- 1:22:13Speaker 8: ain't other people. Your competition is you. You know what
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: your competition is. Your competition is your procrastination. It's it's
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: got you got to overcome delaying stuff all the time.
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: That's your competition. Your competition is your negative thoughts. You've
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: got to eradicate negative thoughts from your mind. You've got
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: to replace that constantly with positive thoughts. All of us
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: have to work on that. That's what your competition is.
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: Your competition is your comfort zone. You got to stop
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: getting comfortable in the comfort zone. You've got to challenge
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: yourself to get out of the comfort zone. Now, you
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: want to compete against something, competed competing against that, Compete
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: against your procrastination, Compete against your negative thoughts, compete against
- 1:23:07Speaker 8: your being and your comfort zone. If you compete against that,
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: you can win. The obstacles that you are facing are
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: not external, y'all. They are the doubts and fears that
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: hold you back from achieving your full potential.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: Man. You got to deal with that stuff. You got
- 1:23:27Speaker 8: to grapple with that quick worrying about other people. You
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: gotta enough.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: Look listen to me. You got twenty four to seven job.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Take care of you.
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: It take everything you got to get you where you're
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: trying to be. And if you're stopping to take time
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: to address other people, all you doing is delaying your gratification.
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: You are delaying it because you don't have time. God
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: didn't design you for all them other people's opinions. You
- 1:23:55Speaker 8: need to worry about one thing, you and your relationship
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: with God, and that will help you with your relationship
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: with your wife, your spouse, your partner, your children, your job,
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: your coworkers, your dreams, your visions, your aspirations. The obstacles
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: that you're facing, y'all, is not external. Quit letting other
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: people trip you up because they not there to trip
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: you up. Your competition again, is your procrastination. Your competition
- 1:24:25Speaker 8: is fighting against your negative thoughts. Your competition is keeping
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: yourself out your comfort zone, because convenience is built through
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: a life of inconvenience. The only person you need to
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: beat is the person you was yesterday. Uh oh, did
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: I say something right there? I think I did. The
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: only person you need to beat is the person that
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: you were yesterday. If you do that, if you beat
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: who you were yesterday, success is undeniable.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: Yours.
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: Compete against yourself. Stop worrying about what everybody else got.
- 1:25:07Speaker 8: Comparison is the biggest thief of joy, comparing yourself. Do
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: you know, man, if you quit looking on the other
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: side of the fence, you might discover that you got
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: plenty on your side of the fence. Or if you
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: quit looking on the other side of the fence, you
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: could tend better to your side of the fence. While
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: my neighbor yard got all them pretty flowers over there,
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: put the flowers in your yard. You driving down the
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: block at the homeowners association looking at everybody house look.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Better than yours. Now you go back home, you unhappy.
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: But oh okay, but you forgot the joy you had
- 1:25:44Speaker 8: the day you signed for the house. You forgot the
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: celebration you had when you bought your first house. Now
- 1:25:51Speaker 8: you done, drove down the street and somebody bought a
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: bigger house. Now you down there looking at they big house.
