- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Come on, y'all. I said that a little bit wrong
- 2:13Speaker 1: this morning, but I'm tired. I just came out to
- 2:16Speaker 1: the gym. I'm a little out of sorts right now,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but it's okay. I'll pull it together. But let me
- 2:21Speaker 1: tell you something, man, I got a clear cut message
- 2:24Speaker 1: for you today. I really do you know? Um, as
- 2:27Speaker 1: I've gotten older, I've began to take some supplements. And
- 2:35Speaker 1: supplements are to help your body in things that it
- 2:42Speaker 1: doesn't produce as much as it used to. You know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: do you gotta take a vitamin supplement? Its mineral supplements
- 2:53Speaker 1: because just you know, vitamin D supplement because vitamin D
- 2:58Speaker 1: is important and you know, as you it older, sometimes
- 3:01Speaker 1: your body doesn't produce it at the rate that it
- 3:05Speaker 1: used to, and so you take supplements. You know, you
- 3:09Speaker 1: got herbs that can help you out with digesting ginger.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You know, things like that. You got it. It's a
- 3:16Speaker 1: lot of things out there once you start talking to
- 3:19Speaker 1: people that's in and know what health food stores and
- 3:22Speaker 1: things of that nature. If you're going in there and
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know you're having trouble with this, or you're feeling
- 3:28Speaker 1: like you're not your eyesight ain't quite what are you
- 3:30Speaker 1: trying to get your hair and your nails together and
- 3:33Speaker 1: they tell you to try buy it in or something
- 3:35Speaker 1: like that, or or your joints is feeling a little
- 3:38Speaker 1: ache and they recommend grew closer mean and congrunagen and
- 3:42Speaker 1: you know stuff like supplements. Now, I take supplements all
- 3:45Speaker 1: the time. Supplements are designed to help you replenish what's
- 3:52Speaker 1: been depleted in your body. As supplements. Now now people
- 3:59Speaker 1: are can tell you can speak a lot more aggressively
- 4:03Speaker 1: and a lot more knowledgeable on this subject. But just
- 4:06Speaker 1: giving you a just a brief overview of minderstanding of now,
- 4:13Speaker 1: if you've been living your life for a while, supplements
- 4:19Speaker 1: are necessary for most of us now. Also, if you've
- 4:27Speaker 1: been living your life for a while spiritually, you may
- 4:35Speaker 1: need some supplements because you've just been at it for
- 4:39Speaker 1: a while. You don't got woll down a little bit,
- 4:44Speaker 1: You're tied. Some people around you ain't changing. Some people
- 4:48Speaker 1: around you draining. It's just life just keeps on coming.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Life don't ever get no easier. It just you become
- 4:56Speaker 1: more knowledgeable about how to handle it. It does not
- 5:00Speaker 1: get any either easier. You continue to lose loved ones,
- 5:04Speaker 1: you continue to have to confront the challenges. It's just
- 5:07Speaker 1: that over course of time you become experienced and you
- 5:10Speaker 1: can handle them better. But life don't get no easier.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But spiritually you get a little bit worn down. Well,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you need some spiritual supplements too. And I'm just gonna
- 5:24Speaker 1: flat out tell you, the more God that you can
- 5:30Speaker 1: replenish yourself with, the higher the dosage of God that
- 5:36Speaker 1: you are willing to put into your spiritual self, the
- 5:42Speaker 1: possibilities then become limitless. You actually have the ability to
- 5:50Speaker 1: make a conscious decision to supplement your body, and you
- 5:55Speaker 1: have a conscious decision to supplement your spirit. Can do
- 6:00Speaker 1: both So what I did was, I could just tell
- 6:06Speaker 1: you what I did. I was taking all these supplements.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I started taking supplements where I was about forty five.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I think that's when I began. I was thinking about
- 6:16Speaker 1: it one day and I just went wild. Man. I
- 6:20Speaker 1: started talking to some knowledgeable people. I found out I
- 6:22Speaker 1: needed these things. But then spiritually, man, I started supplementing
- 6:26Speaker 1: myself too. I started praying some more. I started trying
- 6:29Speaker 1: to gain a little bit more knowledge and wisdom and
- 6:32Speaker 1: understanding from scriptures and just try to make sense of
- 6:37Speaker 1: all of it, you know, just just make a little
- 6:40Speaker 1: bit more sense out of my life, make sure that
- 6:42Speaker 1: I was on the right path. A matter of fact,
- 6:45Speaker 1: get on the right path, find out my real purpose
- 6:48Speaker 1: and my mission in life. And nobody can do that
- 6:51Speaker 1: for you. That's something that you have to want to do.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But I started supplementing my spiritual side of my life
- 6:57Speaker 1: and supplementing my body. Now I happen to be right
- 7:01Speaker 1: now about in the best shape I've ever been in. Technically,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I can assure you though I am in the best
- 7:11Speaker 1: shape spiritually I have ever been in. Now my body
- 7:15Speaker 1: has looked better, it really has. I mean, come on, now,
- 7:20Speaker 1: at who I am in life at the stage with
- 7:22Speaker 1: the years I've been walking this earth. Man, I'm cool,
- 7:27Speaker 1: but spiritually I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And what it has done for me, y'all is it's
- 7:34Speaker 1: gave me a peace and a calmness. You know, it
- 7:36Speaker 1: used to be, man, I used to fight so hard
- 7:39Speaker 1: against people who attack. Now, man, it ain't. It ain't
- 7:43Speaker 1: as serious to me because now I have a full
- 7:45Speaker 1: understanding that if I come under attack, that God is
- 7:49Speaker 1: with me, because that's a promise he made. That's Isaiah
- 7:53Speaker 1: fifty four seventeen. That's that's that's. Any weapon formed against you,
- 7:58Speaker 1: any weapon formed against you shall not prosper. You can't.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You can't come and get me. I'm not here for
- 8:06Speaker 1: you to take down because you didn't put me here.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So why would I feel a person bringing me down
- 8:13Speaker 1: when they're not the reason that I'm here. So when
- 8:17Speaker 1: you attack me, you have to be careful because I
- 8:20Speaker 1: ain't ever by myself. I formed a relationship with the
- 8:26Speaker 1: most high that I can rely on for protection, for coverage,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and for peace. A lot of times when things used
- 8:34Speaker 1: to stress me out, how to run this, how to
- 8:37Speaker 1: handle this, how to deal with that? You know, famous
- 8:39Speaker 1: rough Man, and then you put that together with some business,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and you put that together with your family. You got
- 8:44Speaker 1: a lot of stuff you're trying to tend to. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: have a peace of mind about it now because I
- 8:51Speaker 1: have someone who provides me with a sense of understanding
- 8:55Speaker 1: and calmness that lets me know that this tool shall pass.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That it ain't just a saying that I heard old
- 9:02Speaker 1: people say that. It ain't just something my mama used
- 9:05Speaker 1: to tell me. It's something that can really happen. Once
- 9:08Speaker 1: you get an understanding, this tool shall pass. This is
- 9:12Speaker 1: just another piece of life that you are now better
- 9:15Speaker 1: equipped to handle. I'm telling you what it's done for me.
- 9:19Speaker 1: A millions of people out there hear me. Man has
- 9:22Speaker 1: done the same thing for them. I'm telling it new
- 9:26Speaker 1: to some people, but there's some people that show enough
- 9:28Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. And then if you have known
- 9:32Speaker 1: this but kind of forgot it, it's time for some supplements.
- 9:36Speaker 1: So when you get like that, and now you find
- 9:40Speaker 1: yourself in a situation with a disease or something, you
- 9:44Speaker 1: gotta do something. Nah, you gotta start juicing all your greens.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You gotta start detoxing your body. You gotta start purifying
- 9:51Speaker 1: the system. See, the human body has always had a
- 9:56Speaker 1: way to repair itself if you just give it a chance.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Your mind has always had a chance to repair itself
- 10:03Speaker 1: if you give it a chance. And your spirit always
- 10:06Speaker 1: has a chance to repair itself, if you give it
- 10:10Speaker 1: a chance. It's the only way I can maintain at
- 10:14Speaker 1: this level, and it's the only way I have any
- 10:17Speaker 1: chance of going further. I have to increase my dosage
- 10:23Speaker 1: of spiritual supplements. I got to talk to God a
- 10:27Speaker 1: little bit more. I got to pray a little bit more.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I got to understand his word a little bit more.
- 10:35Speaker 1: That's all I'm telling you, man, If you do that,
- 10:38Speaker 1: if you just pray more, if you just studied a
- 10:41Speaker 1: little bit more, man, just try to get an understand
- 10:43Speaker 1: and ask him to help you understand. It will open
- 10:47Speaker 1: up the possibilities of your life into a realm you
- 10:51Speaker 1: never could have imagined. I'm telling you, that's real. Okay,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're listening. There is a special breaking news segment here.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Breaking news everybody. It's mooning time. That means it's time
- 11:09Speaker 1: for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That's the breaking news
- 11:12Speaker 1: because it's day break. That's what it is. Welcome, Welcome,

- 11:48Speaker 1: just hello. Fuck, no idea? What this is going? What

- 12:49Speaker 1: all the way in and then go to sleep. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: well at least he sleeps here and not on the road.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Give me some benefit. Yeah, man, everything good. What's been
- 13:01Speaker 1: going on? What's happening? What do you do today? Oh? Well,
- 13:07Speaker 1: you know it's the same Donald, Yeah, I know, you mean,
- 13:09Speaker 1: it's it's the same old stuff, you know, uh defending
- 13:15Speaker 1: William Barry. Yeah, it's the same. You know, it's the same.
- 13:23Speaker 1: We just as if you're a Democrat, you know the
- 13:26Speaker 1: work that needs to be done next year in the
- 13:28Speaker 1: hold a register. You gotta vote and get rid of them,
- 13:32Speaker 1: right and for the Democrats who are running, get it together,
- 13:36Speaker 1: like Steve said, pick one. Yeah, man, I think you
- 13:43Speaker 1: look we got too much right now, y'all know listening
- 13:46Speaker 1: to Nancy Pelosi. Need to get him in the room
- 13:49Speaker 1: and go. Look, you know you have no chance of
- 13:51Speaker 1: being We're gonna ask you to step down. We ain't
- 13:54Speaker 1: got no democratic fun for you. We ain't kick it
- 13:57Speaker 1: for you, we ain't flying you around. It is stop.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Take your contribution money, let them give it to who
- 14:04Speaker 1: they want to. Yeah, because you're not gonna win, you
- 14:07Speaker 1: throw your weight behind whoever. A matter of fact, give
- 14:09Speaker 1: me a list, Monica. Can you do this for me
- 14:11Speaker 1: right quick? Give me a list, Monica of the Democratic
- 14:15Speaker 1: candidates so far and texted to my phone they're twenty.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Let's see twenty. Our narratives down the foe for you
- 14:21Speaker 1: right now. Just do that on the next bab what
- 14:24Speaker 1: we're doing on next ration? Oh well, you know, we
- 14:26Speaker 1: gotta run. We got something funny. We gotta run that.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Frank back all of that, and we'll be back right
- 14:31Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, here we are.
- 14:38Speaker 1: You wanted a list of the twenty Democratic candidates, and
- 14:41Speaker 1: you have that list, so I have them. Yeah, all right,
- 14:45Speaker 1: let's go Huh these are runnings and uh. These are
- 14:53Speaker 1: also who's qualified for debates and who's leading the money race.
- 14:59Speaker 1: All right, let's go. H Bennett, this is an alphabetical order. Bennett.
- 15:05Speaker 1: No one knows him. Biden. Everyone knows who he is.
- 15:11Speaker 1: He has a shot Booker, Corey Booker. He's a possibility,
- 15:21Speaker 1: boota chair, possibility. May Pehu Castro. Oh yeah, I think
- 15:30Speaker 1: you got about him. Yeah, okay, he bad. We will
- 15:33Speaker 1: let him. He was Delaney, please step out, let's leave.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Step come on, step out, Gabbert, come on, man, step
- 15:52Speaker 1: out and don't don't waste time stepping out, step out
- 15:55Speaker 1: in a hurry. Yeah, gill a brand Yeah she's yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's been around. Yeah, she need to come on out,
- 16:04Speaker 1: come out. No, surely stop that now. Well, I'm telling
- 16:10Speaker 1: you who ain't gonna win this thing. I don't care.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Now when I take me in out, don't be talking.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I don't leave, no me. And then this is not
- 16:16Speaker 1: a sexist remark I'm making. I'm talking about people who
- 16:19Speaker 1: have no shot of beating Donald Trump. A Harris, she
- 16:24Speaker 1: can stay here, can loop Boy. Let's go your name alone?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Who Easley, Sir, step down and people just step out. Okay,
- 16:40Speaker 1: clobcha clob Come on out, Massan Emmy s s a m.
- 16:50Speaker 1: The black dude, Sir, come on out. I'm taking black
- 16:56Speaker 1: people out, women out. Don't even don't even try me.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you who got real shot. Let's stop this, Okay, Molten,
- 17:03Speaker 1: come on out, sir, stop better. O'rock you can stay, okay,
- 17:10Speaker 1: Ryan who is key, Yeah, he just recently got in. Okay,
- 17:16Speaker 1: he needs to stop. Bernie Sanders he can stay. Swawhale,
- 17:24Speaker 1: come on out, Yang Yan come on out, sir, Yan
- 17:31Speaker 1: and Yang Williamson, Mary Anne Williamson come on out. Now.
- 17:39Speaker 1: This is a fifty fifty up in there. Elizabeth war So,
- 17:43Speaker 1: who's in pretty good? So Elizabeth Warren is in, okay,
- 17:49Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders is in. That's two. O'rock is three, Harris
- 17:54Speaker 1: is four. Castro boota gee book Biden one, two, three, four, five,
- 18:07Speaker 1: six seven eight. That's eight. All right, that's all we need.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So it looks like we got Biden, Sanders, Harris, Warren,
- 18:25Speaker 1: Boot Judge. Yeah, I mean you know that that's a
- 18:30Speaker 1: pretty impressive list. Yeah, that's a pretty impressive list right
- 18:33Speaker 1: there now. Booker, Corey Corey Booker, Yeah, you know, just
- 18:51Speaker 1: you know, I just uh trying to think of how
- 18:54Speaker 1: we win this thing. Man, we gotta get serious. So
- 19:00Speaker 1: I'll tell y'all, we have to get it. We gotta
- 19:02Speaker 1: get serious. Now. This dude is building momentum. I'm telling you,
- 19:07Speaker 1: he's taking the Mother Report turning into his demand exactly.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Bargo mess around and wind up getting his ass in
- 19:14Speaker 1: Peach trying to save who needed he being sad as
- 19:19Speaker 1: Rosanne bar I mean, man, he just as crazy as
- 19:24Speaker 1: he needs. Yeah, they need to really get on the ball.
- 19:27Speaker 1: But Democrats need to come together, get behind these candidates
- 19:32Speaker 1: and giving people what they want, you know, give them
- 19:35Speaker 1: a good healthcare got to cut mean you know what.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Good healthcare has to be a must. Yeah. But and
- 19:44Speaker 1: I would love for this country to have everybody to
- 19:46Speaker 1: be able to get free medical But with such a
- 19:48Speaker 1: capitalistic society, how can we do that? Right? Because who
- 19:53Speaker 1: would pay the doctors? And people go to school to
- 19:57Speaker 1: be doctors, to her to live in. So I'm I'm
- 20:00Speaker 1: stuck with how are we going to do that? Now? Where?
- 20:02Speaker 1: And then if it takes trillions of dollars, where does
- 20:05Speaker 1: it come from? That's that's the thing about these things.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I would love if everybody in this country get free
- 20:12Speaker 1: education so we can compete with other countries because we're
- 20:16Speaker 1: losing the education battles. Yeah, and some candidates are promising that,
- 20:20Speaker 1: but they haven't really said how are they going to
- 20:22Speaker 1: do it? Yeah, I mean, I guess they'll tax the
- 20:26Speaker 1: rich one percent. We got way more money than a
- 20:31Speaker 1: lot of other countries. Why can't we do it? They
- 20:33Speaker 1: just gotta find there is a way, man, But that
- 20:36Speaker 1: would mean somebody's not going to make money. And then,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and these are very very rich people who make money
- 20:41Speaker 1: off medical expensive and if you think they're gonna sit
- 20:44Speaker 1: here and let us take their income from you're sadly mistaking.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So that's why richer. That's wise. Yeah, but again, some
- 20:55Speaker 1: of the candidates are promising these things. Well you know what,
- 21:00Speaker 1: this time, people are gonna have to tell me how
- 21:02Speaker 1: they're gonna do it. Yeah. It's like I was watching
- 21:04Speaker 1: the story the other day about coal miners in West
- 21:07Speaker 1: Virginia how they're upset with Trump because he lied to him.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I said, everybody, you can't bring coal mine. You said that,
- 21:14Speaker 1: you abolutely said it. Yeah, I said it a million times.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He promised him cold back cold, not coming back. Now.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Everybody in West Virginia Land told him all right, coming
- 21:23Speaker 1: up next, the nephew would run that prank back right
- 21:26Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show coming up at the
- 21:32Speaker 1: top of the hour and entertainment news Kanye West is
- 21:35Speaker 1: getting a cable TV show and Facebook bands Minister Lewis Fiercon.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But right now, let's run that prank back with the nephew.
- 21:44Speaker 1: What you got next? Relationship departs, just sharing relationship depart ship.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Were all on our way to the airport. Let's go.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Oo Hey Brian, Hey baby, that I was um. I
- 22:05Speaker 1: was calling to tell you baby. Look I just I
- 22:11Speaker 1: just can't do it. I got it. Huh what? Oh? Hello, Bryan, Brian, Hey,
- 22:21Speaker 1: this is Greg. I know I know you was just
- 22:22Speaker 1: talking to Vow, but this is this is Greg talking
- 22:25Speaker 1: to you. It's Brian Greg. Who. Yeah, this is Brian Greg.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I was just talking to my wife. Did you put
- 22:31Speaker 1: it back on the phone. Uh no, I'm not gonna.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be able to do that. Why can't
- 22:37Speaker 1: you do that? Man? Hey, let me explain something to you.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Uh all right, there's some things, you know, long conversations
- 22:44Speaker 1: about this. Oh well, how you know my wife on
- 22:46Speaker 1: the first man basis like that? Man, how are you?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Who are you? Like I said, man, my name is
- 22:51Speaker 1: Greg k all right, at the airport? Okay, airport? What's
- 22:58Speaker 1: the airport? And why are we that's the airport with
- 23:00Speaker 1: my wife? Boy? Hey, let me Hey, all of this
- 23:05Speaker 1: is complicated. Okay, it's really yeah it is. Yeah, make
- 23:08Speaker 1: it simple for me. Okay, So what I want to
- 23:11Speaker 1: explain to you? What? Let me explain to you mann.
- 23:16Speaker 1: We've had a lot of long conversation about this. It's
- 23:19Speaker 1: something that's what. When when was this? Why? Why are
- 23:23Speaker 1: you at the airport with my wife's with me? And
- 23:29Speaker 1: why is leaving with me? Okay? What were leaving? And
- 23:35Speaker 1: we mean leaving leaving me? Oh? Hell no, put it
- 23:39Speaker 1: on the phone. And I don't even want to talk
- 23:41Speaker 1: to you, man. Put her on the phone. Put her
- 23:45Speaker 1: on the phone, man, and look, you need to put
- 23:46Speaker 1: it on the phone right now. Leaving. I don't believe
- 23:49Speaker 1: that now, I want to hear her say that you
- 23:52Speaker 1: want to talk to me. Oh here you're saying, let

- 27:59Speaker 1: of a If you swing back, it's just make it worse,
- 28:03Speaker 1: all right. We'll check us out on Virginia Beach. I'm
- 28:06Speaker 1: here right now. I'm in Virginia Beach. Show last night.
- 28:11Speaker 1: That's your boy. Sounds a little horse. It's a little horse.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I've been rocking. I've been rocking. Uncle. I added a
- 28:17Speaker 1: four o'clock show on Saturday. It's gone. So let me
- 28:23Speaker 1: tell you what that. Let me tell you what the
- 28:24Speaker 1: nephew did. The nephew added a five thirties show tonight
- 28:30Speaker 1: Friday night, five thirty show. That's the last show man. Yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 1: that's it. Well, okay, well you need to drink some tea.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I got all that. Don't worry about that. Shirley's full,
- 28:42Speaker 1: little can pepper, some honey and some pepperreko and some garlic,
- 28:50Speaker 1: onion powder. I got all that. I do all that
- 28:53Speaker 1: onion powder, Get garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, wreko. Oh
- 29:00Speaker 1: what if I need in this year? Some honey, honey,
- 29:04Speaker 1: ginger beer and right, all right, listen, guys, coming up
- 29:14Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, entertainment news, thinking nephew.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:24Speaker 1: All right, coming up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You won't believe what people are naming their babies these days, guys.
- 29:33Speaker 1: But first in today's entertainment news, Kanye is in development
- 29:37Speaker 1: on a new Showtime series about well Kanye alright, his
- 29:42Speaker 1: favorite subject. Right. The show is called Omniverse, and Jaden
- 29:47Speaker 1: Smith will and Jada's son will play a young Kanye
- 29:51Speaker 1: in the show. Both Jaden and Kanye are executive producers
- 29:54Speaker 1: on the project. Omniverse examines the mini doors of perception
- 29:58Speaker 1: and we'll explore or the ego. Uh what that's interesting?
- 30:05Speaker 1: Huh yeah, how do you do it? Well? I guess
- 30:09Speaker 1: we have to watch the show to find out. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:14Speaker 1: it's a little strange. Uh. And so much for social
- 30:17Speaker 1: media being an outlet for free speech. As we move on,
- 30:20Speaker 1: Facebook announced yesterday that it has banned right wing uh
- 30:25Speaker 1: propagandist Alex Jones. Yes, also Nation of Islam leader Lewis
- 30:32Speaker 1: Farcon and numerous other high profile individuals that engage in
- 30:36Speaker 1: violence and hate. They have already deactivated their Facebook pages.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And this also covers Instagram, which Facebook owns of course.
- 30:45Speaker 1: So the underlying fact is that Facebook is a private
- 30:48Speaker 1: company and can choose to ban whoever it wants. Wow. Wow,
- 30:53Speaker 1: Well you know, Facebook should have started this a long time,
- 30:55Speaker 1: a long moment ago. Yeah, yeah, a lot of stuff
- 30:58Speaker 1: they should have banned. What what? What are you doing.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry, we're doing a show here, sir. I know,
- 31:06Speaker 1: I was just trying to have a little breakfast. I'm sorry,
- 31:11Speaker 1: what do you opening up a cannabis? So what are
- 31:17Speaker 1: you doing? Whatever I'm doing? Two damn call instead of Facebook,
- 31:24Speaker 1: let's do back book, just back book, just people's back.
- 31:27Speaker 1: You know, that's all you see is back back book,
- 31:31Speaker 1: back book. He man, I like it, but I like it.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You like wide backside back? Well, you know, you don't
- 31:42Speaker 1: want to discriminate. Show. You want all backs to come forward.
- 31:44Speaker 1: But you can do wide backs, eat up all your memory.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You don't want to. We're moving on. Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Listen to this story, guys. Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh has resigned. Now.
- 32:01Speaker 1: This is amid a scandal over the sale of her
- 32:04Speaker 1: children's book. Steve, you had the mayor Pew on your
- 32:08Speaker 1: talk show recently. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't understand. I
- 32:10Speaker 1: saw the headlines. I didn't care. Yeah. Well. The resignation
- 32:13Speaker 1: came after Maryland's Republican Republican governor, um Larry Hogan and
- 32:18Speaker 1: members of the city council called for Pew to step down.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Pew is a Democrat, and she's a focus of a
- 32:24Speaker 1: criminal investigation because a health insurer that does business with
- 32:27Speaker 1: the city of Baltimore bought thousands of copies of her
- 32:30Speaker 1: self published book called Healthy Holly. So I guess it's
- 32:34Speaker 1: a conflict of interest when you're in office like that.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You can't make money by city under that program, and
- 32:41Speaker 1: that's not cool to the city. Yeah. So she quit,
- 32:47Speaker 1: and I guess she'll still make her money off the book.
- 32:49Speaker 1: She'll probably make more money. Yeah. Yeah, gonna start stepping
- 32:52Speaker 1: down too. Sure. Wow, interesting you and she was just
- 32:55Speaker 1: on your show. Yeah, well you keep putting that. Only
- 33:03Speaker 1: are you trying to remind you three times twice? Whatever
- 33:07Speaker 1: I heard. I was trying to remind you of who
- 33:10Speaker 1: she was. That's all life, all right, right, okay, two
- 33:16Speaker 1: or three that I'm trying to remind you who she was.
- 33:21Speaker 1: All right, if you had on your show, you ain't
- 33:23Speaker 1: y'all ain't talking about the bull. All right, let's move on.
- 33:27Speaker 1: We have no more time to talk about this, ladies
- 33:29Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Miss an trip, Thank you very much. This
- 33:32Speaker 1: is a trip with the news, everybody. I'm going to
- 33:34Speaker 1: explain that to particular situation in Baltimore for you. First
- 33:38Speaker 1: of all, I gotta tell you that the House Judiciary
- 33:40Speaker 1: convened yesterday without Attorney General William Barr, who went through
- 33:44Speaker 1: with his stated plan to skip the whole thing. The
- 33:46Speaker 1: House Committee wanted Bar to answer questions about the Muller
- 33:50Speaker 1: Russian medaling report, and they placed a plaster statue of
- 33:53Speaker 1: a chicken in a box of fried chicken on the
- 33:55Speaker 1: seat where he would have been if he had showed up.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Committee Chairman Gerald Now says Bar's action is just one
- 34:01Speaker 1: more attack on American democracy by this administration. We didn't
- 34:05Speaker 1: choose not to have mister barcome. He chose. We cannot
- 34:10Speaker 1: permit him or anybody's administration to dictate the manner in
- 34:15Speaker 1: which we function. Alice says, the Committee is going to
- 34:17Speaker 1: make one more attempt at getting the full Molo Russian
- 34:19Speaker 1: meddling report that the unredacted, so they want to see everything,
- 34:23Speaker 1: and if not, he says, lawmakers will hold the Attorney
- 34:25Speaker 1: General in contempt and then go from there. Democrats accused
- 34:29Speaker 1: Bar of mischaracterizing the real results of the two year
- 34:31Speaker 1: probe on purpose to protect the president. Conservative religious groups
- 34:36Speaker 1: say they're happy they're welcoming a new Trump administration. Rules
- 34:38Speaker 1: that strengthens the right of healthcare workers not to provide
- 34:42Speaker 1: medical services that conflict with their beliefs. There are already
- 34:46Speaker 1: laws that support the right of healthcare outfits to refuse
- 34:48Speaker 1: to provide services. However, the new rule gives the government
- 34:51Speaker 1: greater enforcement powers over hospitals and other institutions. Baltimore Mayor
- 34:57Speaker 1: Catherine Pugh resigned yesterday. As you heard yep, he a Democrat.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The governor is a Republican. In recent weeks, the FEDS
- 35:03Speaker 1: have raided at her two homes, her city Hall office,
- 35:05Speaker 1: and other places. As mayor, Peugh has been on an
- 35:08Speaker 1: indefinite paid leave of absence since April first, do she
- 35:11Speaker 1: said to health reasons recovering that they say from a
- 35:14Speaker 1: bout of pneumonia. Anyway, Catherine Pew has been under investigation
- 35:18Speaker 1: for what's called self dealing. It's not just making money
- 35:21Speaker 1: in office. What it does. It involves the sale of
- 35:23Speaker 1: thousands of copies of her self published children's book series.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Officials say that many of the people who bought it.
- 35:30Speaker 1: The purchases of the books were entities that either she
- 35:32Speaker 1: had influence over or that sought to do business with
- 35:35Speaker 1: the city. And they say the seems that they were
- 35:38Speaker 1: paying much too much for these books. So far, Katherine
- 35:40Speaker 1: Pew has not been charged with anything. The US Supreme
- 35:44Speaker 1: Court says is going to consider three cases in the
- 35:45Speaker 1: falls of time to determine whether federal civil rights protections
- 35:48Speaker 1: extend to sexual orientation and gender identity. The US Department
- 35:53Speaker 1: Justice Department issued an extremely critical report on the condition
- 35:57Speaker 1: of Alabama's prisons. The report says that the age correction
- 36:00Speaker 1: system has consistently failed to protect inmates from violence and
- 36:04Speaker 1: sexual abuse, in violation of the Constitution. In Alabama, the
- 36:07Speaker 1: governor says his government's already working on solutions supposedly to
- 36:10Speaker 1: the problems. Are identified small towns along the Mississippi River
- 36:14Speaker 1: or bracing for potentially record breaking flooding, a whole lot
- 36:17Speaker 1: of it. And today is National Paranormal Day. Well, when
- 36:24Speaker 1: I become a ghost, that's when I'm going to sound
- 36:26Speaker 1: like Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 36:28Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right, guys, get
- 36:32Speaker 1: ready for a lot of baby arias in the next year. Okay, Now,
- 36:37Speaker 1: this is according to a report in The New York Times,
- 36:40Speaker 1: Game of Thrones baby names are on the rise. Klisi
- 36:44Speaker 1: was among the most popular girls names last year. There
- 36:47Speaker 1: were two thousand, one hundred and fifty six babies named Aria.
- 36:51Speaker 1: There were twenty sons, Says, eleventh Sircs, fifty five Tyrions,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and twenty three theons also born last year Tires, Toreons, Theon, Sarces, Calisa, Calisees,
- 37:07Speaker 1: and Aria. They like names short people up, Wow, so callisees.
- 37:20Speaker 1: How many brands? Any brands? John Snow? I know John
- 37:25Speaker 1: snows in this list? Just you heard it? Callis's Arias, uh, Sansas, Sarcees,
- 37:32Speaker 1: Tyrions and theon. They like, put me Steve, any Steve.
- 37:35Speaker 1: They're not making the most have you heard any Steve?
- 37:41Speaker 1: Think Dragons? Dragon, Dragon Johnson, come forward with dagget your head.
- 37:52Speaker 1: What's that middle name? That's the one dragon Lee Johnson Dragon.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Oh that boy just his breakfast fire Come on job,

- 38:12Speaker 1: with the white Wafers? Yes, come on, Tommy say it?
- 38:23Speaker 1: The white Walcas, Oh, white Wolcus. Yeah. So so those
- 38:33Speaker 1: are the names and uh wow, all right, well moving
- 38:37Speaker 1: on offset you know him from them goes of course,
- 38:40Speaker 1: and he is married to Cardie b. He's facing felony
- 38:44Speaker 1: charges after he smacked the phone out of a fan's
- 38:46Speaker 1: hand in um an Atlanta area target store. He was
- 38:50Speaker 1: caught on VisiC video physically denying a fan's request for
- 38:54Speaker 1: selfie by knocking the phone out of the guy's hand
- 38:58Speaker 1: and causing the phone to shatter on the floor. Well,
- 39:00Speaker 1: since the value of the guy's iPhone is over eight
- 39:04Speaker 1: hundred dollars, and how well we know that this is
- 39:06Speaker 1: considered a felony because it was eight hundred dollars. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: this is considered a felony. Cops are calling it intentional
- 39:15Speaker 1: a warrant. A warrant has been issued for offsets arrest,
- 39:20Speaker 1: So I mean, yeah, what do you think about this, Steve? Yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 1: this is crazy. Yeah, the punishment does not fit the crime,
- 39:29Speaker 1: but it is a felony because of the cost of
- 39:31Speaker 1: the phone. Coming up at thirty four after the hour,

- 53:57Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the straw Very Letting.
- 54:01Speaker 1: All right, guys, get ready, Guys on this show, subject
- 54:04Speaker 1: and Unattractive Man's plea for help. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 54:11Speaker 1: am writing you for advice since I have heard you
- 54:14Speaker 1: guys talk about this on your show before. I'm in
- 54:18Speaker 1: my mid thirties and I'm an educated man with a
- 54:21Speaker 1: great job, and I'm financially secure. I was in a
- 54:24Speaker 1: ten year relationship that ended a few years ago, and
- 54:27Speaker 1: since that breakup, I have had problems meeting women. I
- 54:31Speaker 1: have been ignored by women when I try to speak
- 54:34Speaker 1: to them or strike up a conversation. I had considered
- 54:38Speaker 1: many possibilities as to why women avoid me, and I've
- 54:41Speaker 1: come to this conclusion it's because I am an unattractive man,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and I have realized that my facial features aren't the
- 54:51Speaker 1: cutest all right. I wanted to put my theory to
- 55:03Speaker 1: the test, so I tried online dating. But instead of
- 55:07Speaker 1: putting my picture on the site my picture on the site,
- 55:10Speaker 1: I chose a picture of another brother that I thought
- 55:12Speaker 1: would be handsome to women. A lot of women responded
- 55:15Speaker 1: to my profile, and I ended up choosing four of
- 55:18Speaker 1: the baddest ones to ask out on a date. I
- 55:21Speaker 1: decided that I would reveal my true identity to each
- 55:24Speaker 1: one of these ladies the day before our date so
- 55:27Speaker 1: there would be no public surprises. I send each lady
- 55:31Speaker 1: a selfie of me. The first lady got very upset
- 55:35Speaker 1: and threatened to have her male friends jump me if
- 55:38Speaker 1: I ever contact her again. The other three ladies never
- 55:42Speaker 1: responded to my text. One of them even blocked my number.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I know that lying was unethical, but I needed to
- 55:50Speaker 1: see if they liked me for me and not how
- 55:53Speaker 1: I look. My ex girlfriend never complained about my looks,
- 55:57Speaker 1: so why are these women so shallow? I have deleted
- 56:00Speaker 1: my dating profile and I'm giving it a rest for
- 56:03Speaker 1: a while. I still have hope that there's a woman
- 56:06Speaker 1: that will see me face to face and be interested
- 56:09Speaker 1: in me. I've even considered plastic surgery. How should I do?
- 56:18Speaker 1: Come on, let me finish? How should I deal with it?
- 56:21Speaker 1: Got any advice? Please help? Yeah? Yeah? Wow? Okay, Well listen, um,
- 56:28Speaker 1: there's definitely nothing wrong with wanting to improve your looks
- 56:31Speaker 1: with plastic surgery if it'll make you feel and look better.
- 56:35Speaker 1: We really, though, have to see for ourselves what you
- 56:38Speaker 1: look like in order to make a real assessment on
- 56:41Speaker 1: this letter, didn't You didn't tell us why you broke
- 56:45Speaker 1: up with your girlfriend of ten years. You didn't tell
- 56:47Speaker 1: us any of that, And I got to tell you
- 56:49Speaker 1: that women will often date a man who isn't attractive
- 56:53Speaker 1: if he's a gentleman, if he's nice, if he if
- 56:55Speaker 1: he's financially secure, if he treats her beautifully. One thing, though,
- 57:01Speaker 1: if you're unattractive or any man period, you have to
- 57:03Speaker 1: be clean. You have to be well groomed. You have
- 57:06Speaker 1: to have good hygiene, you have to be smelling good,
- 57:10Speaker 1: your breath, you have to have all of this. Okay,
- 57:14Speaker 1: you do. I'm telling you from a from a woman's perspective.
- 57:19Speaker 1: It's not always about the looks, all right, Oh it ain't.
- 57:23Speaker 1: But it sounds like it sounds like you're I mean,
- 57:27Speaker 1: you said it yourself. You're not the most attractive man,
- 57:30Speaker 1: so so work on your other features. I would tell
- 57:33Speaker 1: you work on your other features. Steve, first of all,
- 57:37Speaker 1: quits saying features. That's a that's a trigger for you
- 57:42Speaker 1: right now, that's the damn problem. I was told by
- 57:44Speaker 1: this girl in ninth grade why she wasn't going to
- 57:48Speaker 1: junior problem with me? She said, because I don't like
- 57:50Speaker 1: your facial features. So you call into the right place.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I'm assuming this is what you've heard on this show.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Come on the fact that I've tried to tell Time
- 58:00Speaker 1: that he's ugly for years and I ain't going on
- 58:02Speaker 1: death ears. It's okay, Time, I'm just gonna use it
- 58:05Speaker 1: this once. This ain't about you. I'm gonna use myself
- 58:09Speaker 1: as an example because I've never been an attractive man.
- 58:12Speaker 1: So let's just go from that standpoint. But you need
- 58:15Speaker 1: specialized help because you're in your thirties and you're an
- 58:23Speaker 1: educated man with a great job. You're secure. He was
- 58:27Speaker 1: in a ten year relationship. You're financially secure. He was
- 58:31Speaker 1: in a ten year relationship that ended a few years ago,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and since that breakup, out of hand problems met with
- 58:37Speaker 1: I've been ignored by women. I try to speak to
- 58:39Speaker 1: them a stripeful conversation. I've considered many possibilities. That's why
- 58:42Speaker 1: women avoward me have come to the conclusion it's because
- 58:46Speaker 1: I am an unattractive man and have realized that my
- 58:50Speaker 1: facial features aren't the cutest. Here's a word you had
- 58:55Speaker 1: to stop using. Cute. Cute is for babies. You're too
- 59:01Speaker 1: big to be a baby. Now listen to me, sir.
- 59:08Speaker 1: We're gonna have to address this with a little bit
- 59:10Speaker 1: of honest You said, it is because I'm unattracted and
- 59:15Speaker 1: I have realized that my facial features ain't cocuted. You
- 59:19Speaker 1: ain't just realizing this. This is where we need to
- 59:23Speaker 1: have a man to man talked. You don't goodn't hear
- 59:26Speaker 1: where you heard this before? You quit googling and all
- 59:30Speaker 1: is here this you dog. You heard this before several times.
- 59:35Speaker 1: See when you're in your thirties and you ugly, this
- 59:37Speaker 1: ain't your first time heard it. The first time you
- 59:41Speaker 1: hear is at the school with little kids. Damn yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 1: oh yeah, man, you busted you look like ain't no
- 59:54Speaker 1: telling what they have said you look like. But this
- 59:57Speaker 1: is not the first time you've heard it. So you
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: decided to put your little theory to the test. So
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you went online dating. But instead of putting your the
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: real picture of and you know what you look like,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: So instead of putting this up, you got a picture
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: of another brother that I thought was to be handsome
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to women. Whole lot of women responded to my profile
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: and I ended up choosing full of the baddest ones
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: to ask out on the date. See that's where you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: messed up at the high your glass think that you
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: was gonna get the four baddest ones. But I mire you, though, bro,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: because your problem ain't aiming too high and missing. Your
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: problem is aiming too low and hitled. So you went high.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: But then you decided that you reveal your true identity
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: each one of these ladies the day before to day.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: So what no public surprises because you've publicly surprised a
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: couple of people. What do you mean, hey, baby time,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm gonna tell you, hey baby.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: up in twenty three after the hour you're listening to.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: All Right, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter, uh with
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: part two of you. Thirty year old man broke up
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: with this ten year relationship that ended a few years ago,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and since that break up, he'd have had problems meeting women, uh,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you know, walk up to him, to ignore him, to
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: speak to him, strike up a conversation, and he don't
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: understand why he's considered a lot of possibilities, why women
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: avoid him, And he's come to this conclusion, y'all. He says,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: it's because I'm an unattractive man. And I realized that
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: my facial features aren't the cuts. We've told him. We're
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: using terms like cute, because baby's just cute. I got
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: go ahead and ask me right now, why didn't he
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: use the word ugly? He just uses unattractive in words
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: like cute. Well, he don't want to hurt his own
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, So now I'm about to tell him
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: here ugled okay, because he listened to the show. All right,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you unattractive, don't you? Ain't the first one? I ain't.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I ain't attractive, Eibo, he ain't Why Jay I ain't attracted?
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Here we go and this turtle he's showing it. Look
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I'm cute, I'm sexy, cricket, look at somebody. I'm not
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: doing that with y'all. Matter be doing a big light
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: of commercial anyway. So he decided to test his theory,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: so he did a dating profile. He put a different
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: brother picture up. A lot of women responded. He decided
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to pick the faux bags now to avoid um any
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: public surprises, which he has had many of in his life.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: And he did know how to go. How hey, baby,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: how you doing? That's ugly? Deep? Excuse me? Can I

- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Trick or Treat. That's when he first heard it, but
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: he just thought it was his costume. But he didn't
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: realize his mask hat fell off in the drive. He
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: was standing there with his box and he his mask
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: hat fell off in the drive with a little rubber
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: band pop and he didn't know it, so this ain't so.

- 1:08:15Speaker 1: We'll do a little comedy Roulette with Jay and the
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Fellas right after this you're listening to show, all right,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: See first off, some really sad news for the people
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: that still wanted to pay their respects to Nipsey Hustle
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: and visit his memorial at the corner of Slawson and
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Crenshaw in la Well, it has been shut down. In
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the weeks following Nipsey's death, the Marathon Clothing Store parking
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: lot has been filled with prayer candles left by fans
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: and mourners, but lately the memorial has been flooded with
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: a lot of riff wrath over there. People close to
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Nipsey reported that people started selling bootleg shirts with Nipsey
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Hustle's picture on them. They were charging money for tours
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: of Nipsey's old neighborhood, and food truck started lining up
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: along the street to capitalize on all of the people
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: that came by the memorial daily. So because of the
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: disrespect to Nitsey's legacy, the memorial has now been shut down.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: So just to know, if you're traveling from you know,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: around the country somewhere and you want to go by there,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: it has been shut down because people are just you know,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: hustling over there, taking advantage. Yeah yeah, absolutely, tours to neighborhood, yeah,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: all of that. Yeah yeah, all right, we're gonna switch
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: gears here and play a little comedy roulette. I love comedy. Yeah, Jay,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: what you got? I'm breaking down because here's what we do.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: We take the fourth subject, we put them on a wheel,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: and we can make it funny. You know why we
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: can make it funny? Do you know why? Why? Does
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: anybody know? Why? Why? Because we all comedians? Yeah, Time
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: is a comedian, I'm a comedian, and Steve is a
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: key of comedians. And that's how we can make it
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: all funny. Because Juni, he's comedian kind. You know he's
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: gonna get bad man, you know you comedian? All right,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: let's go, Jake, come on, all right, here we go.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Things you might say to a bad cook, that's number one.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Number two, things you say to people who looked like
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: they lost a fight. Three things you say when you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: want people to leave your house. And the last one
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: things you say to people that you don't want to
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: hang out with. Okay, yeah, learning Spune, I like the
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: last I know you like that one. Oh wow. Things
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you say to people who look like they lost a fight.

- 1:11:04Speaker 1: you got bite months on over your body? You want yeah, okay,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: here go on the stage. You say when you say

- 1:11:18Speaker 1: don't worry your girl gonna get it. Don't even worry
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: about that. Your girl's gonna warm him up. Don't eat

- 1:12:19Speaker 1: it's black. Okay. That didn't you say the people look
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: like lost the fight? Hey man, your son called me.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: He say he gonna stay with him. Hey man, you
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: know I get it, dog, now listen, listen on the
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: ridd though. If he wouldn't have had this stick, it
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: would have came out different. It really would happen. I
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: see what's happening. You know it was a stick. The
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: stick really called old shot. You understand, I got it, man,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: it was just stick. Man. Things you say the people
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: who look like they lost the fight. No, man, I
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: ain't going back up there with you, right, he don't know.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I ain't going back up there with you. Man. Did
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: you leave that dude alone? Did you say to people
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: who looked like they lost the fight. I don't know
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: how to tell you this, but that little boy had skills. Man,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I'm sitious, sorry, but uh sorry. Thing you say to
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: people who looked like they lost a fight. Hey, man,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: did you know it was a fight taking the punches?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Did you know y'all was fighting? Thing you say to
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: people that just lost the fight? He do? Why are you?
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Why are you just standing there while he was whipping?
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Why that? I mean? I was that a strategy? What
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: was that? I don't understand that far strategy. Things you
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: say to people who look like they lost the fight, man,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Chris saying it was a tack. Okay, clearly I'm saying.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Things you say to people when you look like you
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: love oh now you want to cuss me out? Oh god,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: oh man, Hey Jake, I'm gonna stay right in that
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: same lane when they started raising their voice at you
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: because they lost the fight. Where was all that figure
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: when he was whipping your hand, when he was swinging
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: up on you? All right, team, come on close it out.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Things you say to people who look like they lost
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the fight. I love you, man, But the best thing
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I do, I'm gonna pray. Once we get the prayer,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: its really coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I have some fashion pointers for you, Steve, since you're
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: going to the Kentucky Derby this weekend. Okay, you're listening
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. Okay, so Steve, here we go. This
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: is according to the Kentucky Derby website. Here's some suggestions. Yeah,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: let me listen, all right, some suggestions for attire. Now,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: you already told us yesterday that you were going all
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: out on your colors, you know, your mint greens and
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: your pink and your lavenders. And it was another color though, Shirley,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: what was it? It was a bubble? Yeah, bubble that's right. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: he's going bubble gum. Yeah, but you know he's got
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: hat suits, all that, shoes, everything shake. So check this out, Steve.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The Kentucky Derby can be a great excuse for men
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to get as dressed up and decked out as a lady's.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: According to Kentucky Derby dot Com, the modern Derby man
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: should possess an unparalleled color palette with tropical colors, bowl stripes,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: or busy plaid. Okay, you have all those, I'm sure,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: so you should just fit right in with your your
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: bright colors. Right. Uh, we don't know how. They don't
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: even I don't listen. Nobody like that. Well, they're telling
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: dudes that don't ain't never had pimp blood in them,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: really blood. The website also states Steve that if you
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: want a more polished look, a classic navy or searsucker
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: blazer is always in style. But this is Kentucky Derby
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: dot Com, damn dirty. A three button side vent jacket
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: that's an annual favorite for men. And now for shoes,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Now listen to this. I think you already got this
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: one down. For shoes, guys, the most important thing you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: need to know, Steve, is that shoes should be worn sockless. Okay,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: without socks. You ain't got to tell me. No, I
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: think you already, I know, I think you already no socks? Then,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: of course you top it all off with a fedora
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: or some sort of bowler hat which is generally solid
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: in color and uh inspired by the by the style
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: from the twenties into the nineteen twenties. So there you
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: have it, Steve, So have you packed already? Do you
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: need to change? Bowler or boulder hat? Boulder A boulder?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Surely bowler, I said, bowler? No bow l e R
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: b O A T E is what album? Oh boacher?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: You're saying boucher? Oh okay, Well if it was like
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: a Germy, a really big FA, isn't a bowler Derby? What? What? What? Jay?
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Could you do? Mabe favorite? Is he there? Yeah? I'm here? Man?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: What are you mad about? Stick about seven cubes of sugar?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I need you to take George Wallace's mama because she's
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: running in my bad Steve, be mad? Okay, you already
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: knew you already, Joe, Yeah, you already knew. That's true. Man,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: you already knew seven. I get seven, all right. The
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Kentucky Derby is n'tlike any other sporting event with a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: crowd of more than one hundred and fifty thousand people.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Along with this history and tradition, the Kentucky Derby has
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: been described by Forbes as one of the greatest bucket
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: list sporting events in America. So everybody, this is my
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: first one. Oh okay, so you could check that off
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: your bucket list or was it on your bucket list?
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: I mean I've always wanted to go. Yeah, yeah, Margie
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: and I have canceled to you in the row. Mm hmm.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: It should be fun, It should be good, right, I
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: think it's gonna be good. You hosted an event on
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: your first year. Yeah good. I mean you know what.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I can't help that, you know what? Yeah? I mean,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: come on start you know what I'm saying. Yeah, oh see,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I go down. I just go on to the dirty
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: he down you get. So, are you getting paid for
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: what you're hosting? All my money goes till I get
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: from the events like this goes to my foundation. That's
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: not what I asked. That's not what I asked. Are
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you getting paid for this event? Yeah, but to pay
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: it to me? Okay, he answered it. Yeah, they pay me,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: but whatever they pay me goes to please. It's a
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: lot of a lot of what a lot of money? Boy?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Oh it's served to you. All right. Look, we're years here,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: so that cost. We're gonna We're gonna move on. Okay.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: See there's a new trend. It's called extreme embalming. Have
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: you guys heard about this? It allows the deceased to
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: attend their own funerals. Funeral homes are now getting requests
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: for extreme embalming, which allows dead bodies to be reserved, preserved,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: and displayed in lifelike scenarios. For example, the family of
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Mickey Easterling out of New Orleans used extreme embalming, and
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: at her funeral, Mickey was posed sitting down wearing a
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: feather boa with a glass of champagne in one hand
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: and a cigarette in the other. What this reminds me?
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: He would just come by and yeah, yeah, extreme embalming.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: It's called that's crazy, right. So if you but just okay,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: let's let's just think about people ain't gonna but if
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: you could do it with a glass of champagne, aim
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: in your hands, think out, thinking out, that would be you, Jack.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna ask you, guys, if you
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: could do this, how would you show up a you'd
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: have sound in yours, Jack, you love? That'd be great, yea, everybody,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: So they would not only be in a certain position,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: but they'd also say your favorite phrase or your most
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: commonly used phrase. What would Tommy's be it phrase? Anything
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: with a W white you. I'm really why it's the
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: William Damn baby speech. Come on, tom Tommy saying where
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: at least I don't have to listen to any more
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: little timy? All right, Uh, all right, we'll be back
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: You're set show, all right, guys, So we have some
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: good movies to get out to support this weekend. Jay,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you are a resident movie guy. I've seen one that's
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: coming out. Which one The Intruder? Michael el Oh, yes,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: The Intruder. Yeah, it does star Michael Elie of course,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: and Megan Good and Dennis Quaid as the intruder. Yeah,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: crazy white man in this movie. He really I love
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: his movies, all of them. And it's a thriller about
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: a couple played by Michael Eli and Megan Good that
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: by home. The couple buys a home from a psycho,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: and that would be one Dennis Quaid he makes. Yeah,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: he makes your life a living horror. He don't want
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to give the house up. I don't want to get
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: a house. So, Jay, is it a scary movie or
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: is it like movie it's just a crazy white man
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: that won't go away. That's basically oh okay, that movie
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to our head, like, oh man, that movie. But you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: know who's also in this movie though, Joseph Sakora. He
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: plays Tommy on Power when Power Coming. Yeah, okay. And
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: another great movie to catch this weekend is Bolden. Have
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: you guys been seeing the trailers for this one? This
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: looks good. Good, Yeah, it really looks good, Steve. This
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: is a biopic of legendary jazz musician. It's called Bolden.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I've never heard of this guy. His name is Buddy
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Bolden and he's credited with being the inventor of jazz,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: the inventor of jazz. It's a great um story of
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: his life and his music. It features music that's written
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: and performed by another great jazz legend, went to Marsalis.

- 1:26:48Speaker 1: cake there in case something. Have the name come out
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: and cake. That is that not the craziest thing you've
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: ever heard, but that's boom boom. All right, more of

- 1:30:15Speaker 1: is whipped down behind man, let me tell you something
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: what that was it? I think that's the key to
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: why we we we are what we are? Whatever we
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: tripped out, that's where they fell out with us right there? Yeah,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: all right, coming up, last break of the day on
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: this Friday. It's been a good day, It's been a
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: good week. We'll be back with Steve and his closing
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: remarks right after this at forty nine after the hour
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: you're listening show. All right, here we are Steve. Guys,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: last break of the day. Steve send us home with
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: some great closing remarks for today. Had a good day
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: to day. Hey, my closing remarks today is something that
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: i want to share with you all that I've been
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: kind of a dealing with a lot lately, and I
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: mean a lot. And the only reason I'm sharing it
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: with you because I think there's quite a few people
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: who can relate to this. The thing that I'm trying
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: to correct in my thinking. You know, the Bible says
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing, and there's I'm pretty sure that
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: are people who could explain this a lot better than me.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: But being anxious for nothing means, you know, in other words,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: don't worry so much about what's going to happen. Don't
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: don't want something so badly that it consumes you. Don't
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: keep wearing about something that you want to see happen,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: that you're expecting to receive, that you want to be
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: gifted that you want to acquire whatever it is, be
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: anxious for nothing. Think now, that's hard to do. It
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: really is because naturally, as people, including myself me personally,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I have a tendency to focus on the things that
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: I want. Here's the problem with it. Here's a twofold
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: problem with it. When you focus on what you want.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Number one, focusing on it shows a lack of faith.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: Because everything you've ever needed, I mean, really, just ask yourself,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: hasn't God always done it? I mean, what you need it.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: You may not get everything you want. Everything you want
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: ain't good for y'all can tell you that right now,
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: I've wanted a whole lot of stuff turned out not
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: to be good for me. But everything you need it
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: God has taken care of. So being anxious for his
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: will to be done I mean, I mean being anxious
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: for him to do something in your life, which is
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: something He's always done. It just exhibits a lack of
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: faith when you become anxious for stuff. The second part
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: of it is is it causes you to lose focus
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: on what you already have. And once you lose focus
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: for what you already have, you are no longer showing
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: the level of gratitude that you need to exhibit in
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: order to move your life forward to the next level.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: That's a dangerous trap and I find myself in it oftentimes,
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna be I'm just gonna be honest
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: with you. So what I'm trying to learn and teach
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: myself and become comfortable with it. It's how not to
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: be anxious for nothing, realizing that God has always taken
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: care of me. God has always taken care of you.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: God has never been late in this wall. He ain't
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: ever been late, not now single time. He always comes
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: through with everything you need. He may not come when
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you want him, but he ain't never laid. So I
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: have to get comfortable in knowing that He has always
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: come through for me. He has always delivered for me.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: So why am I being anxious? And in my anxiousness
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: for what I don't have, I now cause myself to
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: lose sight and show the proper amount of gratitude for
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: what I do have. And gratitude is one of the
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: major components of the principles of success, because the more
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: you are grateful for, the more God will give you
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: to be grateful for. You. See, so sometimes I trick
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: myself out of blessing by overthinking it, over wanting it.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you're not supposed to want
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: anything anymore. You will, but don't be anxious for it.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Don't be sitting up frettening about it. He gonna do
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: what he's supposed to do. And then, in another word,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: God don't really need your help to accomplish nothing. He
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: really don't. He can get all this done without you.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Get out of the way. So you know, though, that's
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: something right there. It's been one of the main focuses.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: And when I get it right. When I when I'm
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: not anxious for nothing and I do show the right
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: amount of gratitude for what I've already been given, it
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: releases pressure from me. You know, you've heard old people say,
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry about it,
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: and if you're gonna weary about it, don't pray about it.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: And you know, sometimes in my anxiousness, I'm praying for
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: stuff over and over and over. But you know, if
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: you're gonna pray about it, you got you got you
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: gotta not worry about it. But if you're anxious for something,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: you're worrying about it, just worrying about it, and that
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: right there is not the way that it's done. It's
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: just not the way it's done. And I've been learning
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: over the past month or so really how to focus
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: on that a lot better. And that may be something
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: that you might be looking at two or going through
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: And I just wanted to share that with you because
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: you know, it could be something that you might be
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: dealing with two. And I'm just sharing with you that
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: you ain't the only one going through it. You ain't
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: the only one feeling some kind of way about it.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: That in actuality, a lot of people might be doing it,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: and we're doing it injustice to ourselves. So be anxious
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: for nothing, trusting the fact that God has always taken
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: care of you way better than you've taken care of yourself.
