- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn out? Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your tha uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man. What an amazing blessing. God
- 2:15Speaker 1: has given me my health, my dreams, all of it.
- 2:21Speaker 1: God gave it to me. I accept it. I work hard,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but man on, man on, man, I work hard is
- 2:28Speaker 1: something that He gave me a gift. And that's what
- 2:32Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about today, because God
- 2:35Speaker 1: has gifted everyone, so I can't help but believe it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You are gifted in some way something about you. It's
- 2:43Speaker 1: special and unique. That doesn't mean you're the only one
- 2:46Speaker 1: that can sing, or you're the only one that can write.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Are you the only one that can draw, You're the
- 2:51Speaker 1: only one that can decorate, or you're the only one
- 2:54Speaker 1: that can network or you're the only one that that's
- 2:56Speaker 1: not what it means. Or you have a great scientific mind,
- 2:59Speaker 1: or you can figure things out, or you're good at
- 3:01Speaker 1: problem solving. You're not the only one. But you are
- 3:03Speaker 1: a unique individual. Nobody will travel the exact path that
- 3:07Speaker 1: you own. Nobody will have everything happened in a series
- 3:11Speaker 1: of circumstances in the order that you're going to have
- 3:14Speaker 1: it happened to you. That's what I mean when I
- 3:16Speaker 1: say that you are unique. But now because you are gifted,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you know you have something you have to do. You know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs, Proverbs eighteen and sixteen.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I've been trying to be a little bit better at
- 3:30Speaker 1: that for you, you know. So when I have an
- 3:33Speaker 1: idea and I know where it is, I have somebody
- 3:35Speaker 1: looked the scripture up from and hand it to me.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And this is the
- 3:42Speaker 1: layman's term of it. It says a man's gift make
- 3:45Speaker 1: room for him and brings him before great men. It
- 3:49Speaker 1: is your gift that will make room for you. Now
- 3:53Speaker 1: my interpretation of this is this. Now I could be wrong.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Please go to your local church. Synder God Temple Moss
- 3:59Speaker 1: Cotter if you do and go get clarification. But what
- 4:03Speaker 1: my gift has done in making room for me is
- 4:07Speaker 1: I've taken it almost in the literal sense. My gift
- 4:10Speaker 1: has actually made room for me. It has cleared paths
- 4:13Speaker 1: for me. My gift has opened up doors for me.
- 4:16Speaker 1: That's what I take it as. It'll make room for you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: My gift has is broadened my ability to travel. My
- 4:23Speaker 1: gift has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has
- 4:28Speaker 1: caused me to be able to provide for my family.
- 4:33Speaker 1: My gift has caused me to be able to reach
- 4:37Speaker 1: more people. That's what I'm saying in terms of it
- 4:39Speaker 1: will make room for you. That it may be another interpretation.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm just telling you how I took it, that it's
- 4:44Speaker 1: worked out pretty good for me to that understanding. But
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Bishop Jakes, Joel Oldstein, Ken If Alma,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know God, Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Staples, these guys
- 4:54Speaker 1: give you much better understanding of it. I'm just giving
- 4:57Speaker 1: it to you, you know way, I know how I
- 4:59Speaker 1: sold you. I don't. I just like to keep it
- 5:01Speaker 1: right there. But and then it says that it brings
- 5:04Speaker 1: you before great men I mean, you know, it's gonna
- 5:08Speaker 1: take you places. It's gonna take you places you never
- 5:11Speaker 1: thought of going. You're gonna meet people because of your gift.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I told my son, who two of them are good photographers.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You'll be taking pictures of great men. And then I
- 5:21Speaker 1: messed with him. You already taking pictures to say, your dady,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know what, I'm messing with him like that. But
- 5:24Speaker 1: that's just me and them just kicking it. But you know,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but one day, who knows, you could be shooting the president.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You know, you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you could be shooting great sport events. You know, you
- 5:35Speaker 1: never know where it could take you. But that's your gift.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What you gotta do is you gotta get to move
- 5:40Speaker 1: and though. See, you can't have your gift and not
- 5:43Speaker 1: do nothing with it. See. You know what that reminds
- 5:45Speaker 1: me of. It's something that my father used to say,
- 5:50Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 5:53Speaker 1: gold mine. He say that all the time. Boy, get
- 5:56Speaker 1: up off your butt and move it, because you're sitting
- 5:59Speaker 1: on a gold I never really quite got that when
- 6:01Speaker 1: I was little, but now that I'm an adult, I
- 6:03Speaker 1: got it full well. See, a lot of you are
- 6:06Speaker 1: sitting You're sitting on a talent or a gift that
- 6:09Speaker 1: you have. You're sitting on an ability. I don't care
- 6:12Speaker 1: if it's making cakes or pies. That's a gift, man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that's a talent. I don't care. If it's the ability
- 6:18Speaker 1: to do how that's a gift. Man. Half of you
- 6:21Speaker 1: are gifted. A lot of us are gifted, and we're
- 6:24Speaker 1: sitting on it, looking at other people wondering what can
- 6:27Speaker 1: I do to make it? You already got something to
- 6:30Speaker 1: make it with. If you would just get up off
- 6:32Speaker 1: your behind, man, quits sitting on that gold mine. Some
- 6:36Speaker 1: of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is when
- 6:40Speaker 1: it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and cables
- 6:43Speaker 1: and wires and computers and stuff. And now you steady
- 6:46Speaker 1: looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what I
- 6:48Speaker 1: can go do? How about you go do that? You
- 6:52Speaker 1: know it ain't that hard, man, if you would just
- 6:55Speaker 1: take note of what God has given you already. He
- 6:58Speaker 1: has given you a gift already. He has already given
- 7:02Speaker 1: you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't using
- 7:04Speaker 1: it and you're sitting on your tail somewhere now who
- 7:08Speaker 1: fathers what we're talking about? Well, what you're blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 1: for that? Man? I tell you what. I sit around
- 7:16Speaker 1: people all the time who are gifted, and I'm looking
- 7:21Speaker 1: at their gifts, and they steady complaining about what they
- 7:24Speaker 1: don't have, but will not get up off there behind
- 7:28Speaker 1: and use the gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 7:35Speaker 1: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 7:38Speaker 1: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 7:46Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now that's locked up.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's so good at artistry. It's cats in that tattoo
- 7:53Speaker 1: and everybody, man, get out do it the right way.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Quit selling drugs, man, You ain't going no selling no drugs.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You're going to jail. And if that don't do it,
- 8:03Speaker 1: somebody gonna get tired of you selling drugs because they're
- 8:05Speaker 1: gonna want to sell them over and they're gonna kill you.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's just keep this thing real for just a second here.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Come on, man, get up off your butt. Because you're
- 8:12Speaker 1: sitting on a gold mine, and you're sitting up here,
- 8:15Speaker 1: somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no shortcut. Somebody told me this the other day. Man,
- 8:20Speaker 1: the road to success is always under construction. It ain't paved,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's got detour signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there
- 8:35Speaker 1: and wait. Sometimes they got slow. That's traffic. That's accidents.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Somebody on the road holding up things with a flat tie,
- 8:43Speaker 1: its nails, it's gravels. This spike is everything. The road
- 8:47Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. It ain't getting ready
- 8:51Speaker 1: to be easy just because you didn't decided to do it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But don't sit around on your behind and complain all
- 8:57Speaker 1: the time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: get up off your butt, because you're sitting on a
- 9:03Speaker 1: gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
- 9:06Speaker 1: You got something that you can do that could make
- 9:09Speaker 1: a way for you, but you won't do it. It
- 9:12Speaker 1: is within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste
- 9:16Speaker 1: the most time on the road to success, looking around
- 9:19Speaker 1: at somebody else trying to figure out, Man, how can
- 9:23Speaker 1: I do what they did. Do what you do. You
- 9:26Speaker 1: ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry. I got a couple
- 9:31Speaker 1: of your homies told you you rap better than him.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But you're not jay Z. Really you're not. You know,
- 9:36Speaker 1: all of us can't shot at him, but we ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: Richard pryor a nice shot Steve, Bernie Dierre, all of
- 9:43Speaker 1: we took some great shots at it. We're not him.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Do what you can do. Do you do your gift
- 9:51Speaker 1: quick complaining about what you don't have. Get up off
- 9:54Speaker 1: your butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. You're
- 9:58Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harpy Morning Show, top top top of

- 17:02Speaker 1: take out to uh to you're going, man, take the

- 21:02Speaker 1: of the hour. And entertainment news CNN's Don Lemon's final
- 21:06Speaker 1: farewell on his primetime show, and trending national news. We'll
- 21:11Speaker 1: talk about that. Plus President Biden has pardon thousands of
- 21:14Speaker 1: marijuana convictions, and Carla has Today's music News. We'll talk
- 21:19Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:21Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the ridda
- 21:24Speaker 1: loo or ready though? Really though? And Junior, here we go. Yeah,
- 21:33Speaker 1: Esa in New Orleans Rights. I'm forty one years old
- 21:36Speaker 1: and my male best friend is staying with me temporarily.
- 21:39Speaker 1: It's becoming an issue because I like walking around my
- 21:42Speaker 1: house naked. Should I allow him to keep me from
- 21:44Speaker 1: being comfortable in my own house? Or should I make
- 21:47Speaker 1: him uncomfortable and walk around my house anyway I want to.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Once you turn fifty, you just don't give a day
- 21:53Speaker 1: on no money. You just walk around and do what
- 21:56Speaker 1: you want to do. And you do and you also
- 21:58Speaker 1: gonna say what's on your man? That's how you live longer,
- 22:01Speaker 1: thank you. But who's gonna say he's gonna be uncomfortable
- 22:04Speaker 1: if she does it though, you know, I promise you
- 22:08Speaker 1: that man ain't be man. I know it. Ever been
- 22:12Speaker 1: uncomfortable when a naked woman walking around? Okay? Yeah, yeah,
- 22:18Speaker 1: she just wants to do what she wants to do
- 22:20Speaker 1: in her own house. Period. Whoever, you didn't get him
- 22:22Speaker 1: out your house? That's what you needed. Yeah, yeah, just
- 22:25Speaker 1: do that, you know, the week on it, and get
- 22:27Speaker 1: him out and then get back to your naked I
- 22:29Speaker 1: know how it is, because I'm I'm a naked connoissel.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Get back to your nicket, im meeting one more week
- 22:34Speaker 1: of the house and then he out. He didn't get
- 22:36Speaker 1: back to your naked next Okay, all right? Moving on
- 22:39Speaker 1: to Andrea and Dover. Andrea says, I have a crush
- 22:43Speaker 1: on one of my church members, and I also ran
- 22:45Speaker 1: into him at the gas station. He pumped my gas
- 22:48Speaker 1: and gave me his number. I called the number he
- 22:50Speaker 1: gave me and it was to a tire company. Why
- 22:54Speaker 1: would he offer to give me his number and play
- 22:56Speaker 1: games like that? Did he mistakenly give me the wrong
- 22:59Speaker 1: number a tie? Was it something else around with your
- 23:03Speaker 1: car after you got some gas? I don't understand if
- 23:06Speaker 1: you need to tie when she calls the tired. Maybe
- 23:17Speaker 1: that was just a number to the job she does
- 23:20Speaker 1: that way you work at She didn't say. She just
- 23:23Speaker 1: said he pumped my gas and gave me his number.
- 23:26Speaker 1: So she was assuming that that was his his cell
- 23:29Speaker 1: phone number or whatever. That's what she thought it was.
- 23:33Speaker 1: She saying, did he do it by mistake or did
- 23:36Speaker 1: he really? Is he playing games? That's what she wants
- 23:39Speaker 1: to know. No, you ain't gonna know that to next
- 23:41Speaker 1: Sunday when you get back to be found out what
- 23:45Speaker 1: this card? This car need? Gay? Ties ain't good. He
- 23:48Speaker 1: tried to help you get this car together. What are
- 23:50Speaker 1: you doing whatever you need dies? She just assumed it
- 24:00Speaker 1: was his number. Yeah, yeah, And then when you get
- 24:03Speaker 1: through getting these tads, we're gonna get your another numbers.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You can go to the body shop and get these things.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's what it is, okay. So no, the answer is no,
- 24:13Speaker 1: he didn't mistakenly give you the wrong number. He gave
- 24:16Speaker 1: you the right. Then we're gonna go to church next
- 24:18Speaker 1: Sunday and pray on another car a man, all right.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Moving on to Hakima in Silver Spring, Hakima says, my
- 24:28Speaker 1: husband got up and turned the air off while I
- 24:31Speaker 1: was asleep. I sweat it out my hair due, okay,
- 24:35Speaker 1: and we had to go out of town the next day,
- 24:37Speaker 1: so I looked a mess. I asked him to give
- 24:39Speaker 1: me the money to get my hair redone when we
- 24:41Speaker 1: made it to Texas, and he refused. Should he pay
- 24:44Speaker 1: me back for the money I spent? Absolutely, yes he should.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Y'all married, that's the same money. But way way wall,
- 24:52Speaker 1: that's the same money, y'all married? What does that mean?
- 24:55Speaker 1: I don't get that. But he didn't give it to her.
- 24:58Speaker 1: He should have offered. She shouldn't have even have to
- 25:00Speaker 1: ass you should have already have done. But but but
- 25:03Speaker 1: let's let's go on. Let's let's get back to the
- 25:04Speaker 1: root of the problem. And y'all know what it is.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Y'all know, y'all got that a on fifth at night
- 25:09Speaker 1: and y'all just killing people. Y'all already noticed what come
- 25:13Speaker 1: But checking out, get your extra blanket and don't test

- 25:27Speaker 1: She swears her hair out because the air he's messing with, ye,
- 25:31Speaker 1: But then you're going to Texas. So what you're saying,
- 25:37Speaker 1: women is I'm saying, why money for you to get
- 25:42Speaker 1: your hat, sweat it out again, and texts, I got
- 25:47Speaker 1: air conditioners and texts. What she's gonna be outside the
- 25:49Speaker 1: whole time. And since y'all was driving, just stop at
- 25:54Speaker 1: this place called Buckets and get you some cracklings and

- 25:59Speaker 1: You're gonna help a great time. Wrap your head up
- 26:02Speaker 1: like y'all normally do, put it in a bun, and
- 26:04Speaker 1: going on about your bid that she wanted her hair out.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Just get her hair done, that's all. And David, her
- 26:11Speaker 1: hair isn't long enough for a bunch. You know, you've
- 26:13Speaker 1: really pushed the button with me with this twitch. Yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: right now, the short hair Nation is speaking out. Yeah
- 26:21Speaker 1: the ship cuts. Yeah, this is and they the same
- 26:23Speaker 1: as the hot flash Nation. Y'all get on my mar whatever.

- 26:32Speaker 1: sleeping in fifty degrees. Deal with it. Get in your blanket,
- 26:35Speaker 1: put the socks off. Yeah, crazy, this is really crazy,
- 26:41Speaker 1: all right? Uh? Your last one, guys, last one? Karina
- 26:44Speaker 1: and Charleston says, I had a threesome with two men
- 26:49Speaker 1: because I really liked one of the guys and he
- 26:52Speaker 1: asked me to do it. Okay, he stopped calling me
- 26:56Speaker 1: after we all hooked up, and I feel like he
- 26:58Speaker 1: used me. Is it cool to reach out to him
- 27:00Speaker 1: to see what happened? Or leave it alone? What did
- 27:03Speaker 1: you think was gonna happen after the threesome? She didn't
- 27:07Speaker 1: think I can get that? Little girl? Look girl, what
- 27:11Speaker 1: did you Oh? Sure? She didn't say old enough? Old
- 27:16Speaker 1: enough for that? Okay, she ain't young? She grown? She
- 27:23Speaker 1: had enough sister right in here, right, yes, so she's grown.
- 27:28Speaker 1: What are you doing? This is about the most ignorant
- 27:31Speaker 1: thing you have done, and I please assure you listen
- 27:33Speaker 1: to Uncle Thomas. Don't do this. No moo, all right,
- 27:36Speaker 1: don't be lily yourself to this no more. Baby girl,
- 27:38Speaker 1: you have you have done something very stupid, and trust me,
- 27:41Speaker 1: ain't now one of them guys been to call you
- 27:42Speaker 1: back like they got some love for you. What happened?
- 27:45Speaker 1: What did that? What you think happen. It's a hope
- 27:48Speaker 1: for they did what they wanted to do. Call him, Now,
- 27:51Speaker 1: what if she's a grown woman? You're giving this advice too,
- 27:54Speaker 1: did you see, baby girl is a grown one. Okay,
- 27:59Speaker 1: then you're making grown ass ignorant decisions. Is what you're
- 28:03Speaker 1: doing with your life. That's what you're doing. This is
- 28:06Speaker 1: straight stupid. And the two guys they mo ignant, they
- 28:09Speaker 1: even moignant. Now, well we're at what I want? What
- 28:15Speaker 1: what me? And junior looking man Thomas talking Julia right
- 28:19Speaker 1: there behind it. But it's the truth what you thought
- 28:24Speaker 1: was gonna happen. But you know what, this is all
- 28:26Speaker 1: a lot of women get tricked, you know the guy
- 28:31Speaker 1: if they're not smart and they don't take the you

- 28:35Speaker 1: all of that. He can't ask that phone because they're
- 28:37Speaker 1: talking about you, and then and then they do it,
- 28:41Speaker 1: and then they don't want to see you anymore. Don't
- 28:42Speaker 1: get tricked into this, all right, trying to please this man.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Don't do it. Yeah they used you, Yeah you were
- 28:49Speaker 1: using don't call him anymore? All right? Should I call

- 28:58Speaker 1: but grow as one. Coming up at the top of
- 29:03Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:11Speaker 1: All right, So this press Friday night, Don Lemon said
- 29:13Speaker 1: goodbye to his primetime viewers as he prepares to switch
- 29:17Speaker 1: to morningtime flot. Don has hosted his show Don Lemon
- 29:21Speaker 1: Tonight on CNN for the past eight years. In this
- 29:23Speaker 1: past Friday, Don said not goodbye, but see you soon
- 29:27Speaker 1: as he talked about memories and highlights from his primetime show.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Take a listen to Don telling his viewers it's an
- 29:33Speaker 1: end of an era, but not goodbye, So listen the
- 29:37Speaker 1: viewers at home. I know I was not always perfect,
- 29:40Speaker 1: because no one is perfect, because there are immense pressures
- 29:44Speaker 1: that come with this job, and in particular this time
- 29:48Speaker 1: slot at ten o'clock when people are going to bed.
- 29:51Speaker 1: So sometimes all I could do, I'm gonna be honest
- 29:54Speaker 1: with you, is just smile and just get to the
- 29:56Speaker 1: commercial break. Sometimes it's just it's sometime times it was
- 30:00Speaker 1: exhausting because some of the things that we discuss here
- 30:02Speaker 1: are so personal and so consuming. All consumeing. So I
- 30:06Speaker 1: hope I made you proud, and I think you're for
- 30:08Speaker 1: tuning in all these years, and I hope that you're
- 30:10Speaker 1: going to join me in the morning. So I will
- 30:11Speaker 1: simply say good night and I will see you something
- 30:16Speaker 1: I love me, something that I do too. But if
- 30:21Speaker 1: he go in the mornings, ain't I fin to see
- 30:23Speaker 1: you in the morning? Yeah? Yeah, that's what I said.
- 30:28Speaker 1: It's not goodbye, it's just the end of an era. Yeah.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I think do you think this is a better position
- 30:35Speaker 1: or you think nights are for sure? For sure? Yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: and especially if he's happy with it, Yeah. Yeah, And
- 30:42Speaker 1: I think he has a larger viewing audience in the morning.
- 30:45Speaker 1: He'll be exposed to more people in the morning. We're
- 30:48Speaker 1: so used to seeing him primetime solo. Obviously, that would
- 30:51Speaker 1: be a goal to be an anchor and have your
- 30:53Speaker 1: own show, Yeah, News World, But he's on a morning show,
- 30:58Speaker 1: a panel morning show like if you Will. Yeah, but
- 31:01Speaker 1: he's employed, Yeah to the house. Yeah, Caitlin Collins and
- 31:08Speaker 1: Poppy Harlow. He'll be a co anchor alongside them. He
- 31:13Speaker 1: will move to mornings. Alison Camarada, who's there now, and
- 31:17Speaker 1: our girl Lord Coates will take over Don's primetime slot
- 31:21Speaker 1: from ten pm to midnight. Stract relations. Yes, yes, yes,
- 31:26Speaker 1: she got her own show now. She has her own
- 31:28Speaker 1: show now, and we loved watching her on TV. Yeah,
- 31:32Speaker 1: speaking of making us proud, she does that as well.
- 31:36Speaker 1: So we'll be watching you morning, noon or night, Don,
- 31:39Speaker 1: we don't care. We'll be watching you, okay, because we
- 31:41Speaker 1: love you. Yeah, I love yeah. Also on trending National News,
- 31:48Speaker 1: people convicted of simple possession of marijuana on the federal
- 31:52Speaker 1: level have been pardoned by President Biden. This action applies
- 31:56Speaker 1: to everyone who has convicted on that charge at the
- 32:00Speaker 1: federal level. Now, this is not state level, but at
- 32:03Speaker 1: the federal level, and that's why President Biden wants governors
- 32:06Speaker 1: to take the same action at the state level. The
- 32:09Speaker 1: President is also asking administration officials, including attorney generals, to
- 32:14Speaker 1: review how marijuana is classified under federal law, and that's
- 32:18Speaker 1: scene as a step toward decriminalization. Here's part of what
- 32:23Speaker 1: the President said. While white and black and brown people
- 32:27Speaker 1: use marijuana at similar rates, black and brown people have
- 32:31Speaker 1: been arrested, prosecuted, and convicted at disproportionate rates. All Right,
- 32:37Speaker 1: so he knows, he's aware of what's happening. You know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: he knows. So he's doing his part to um, you know,
- 32:45Speaker 1: to to ease some of that, to make it better,
- 32:48Speaker 1: at least at the federal level. So yeah, that's a
- 32:50Speaker 1: big step. Yeah, thank you, President Biden. Yeah, yeah, you're
- 32:54Speaker 1: not how many people that would let out you know
- 32:56Speaker 1: how many people were talking about my cousin ain't no
- 33:02Speaker 1: level nobody yesterday talking about you heard the news. What
- 33:08Speaker 1: are you saying? You heard the dude, I said, y'all heard. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 1: y'all about to get out soon. But you old state level,
- 33:16Speaker 1: you hear that that part your ass on state level.
- 33:20Speaker 1: You're not good that the governor. Yeah, yeah, you need
- 33:25Speaker 1: you need Governor Abbot let you out that night. There's
- 33:30Speaker 1: an Act of Congress. Yeah, but you're gonna call it
- 33:33Speaker 1: like it's brandy. You heard the news. Yeah, he didn't
- 33:40Speaker 1: listen to the whole story. He just he just heard
- 33:43Speaker 1: possession of Mari wanna being forgiven. You're still in there.
- 33:47Speaker 1: You are state charges. You wasn't you weren't trafficking, you
- 33:51Speaker 1: were using I love your family. Yeah, all right, let's
- 33:59Speaker 1: switch her now because Carla is here with today's music news.
- 34:02Speaker 1: What you got, Carla, Well, still trending. The Big One
- 34:06Speaker 1: music festival that was this past weekend in Atlanta. It
- 34:11Speaker 1: was a huge cultural event. That's right, Monica throwing up
- 34:15Speaker 1: the a's. It was all types of music, hip hop,
- 34:18Speaker 1: R and B, dancehall, Ray gae track. You know he
- 34:21Speaker 1: has some trap music in at Last. Yes. Yes, it
- 34:25Speaker 1: was a star studded event. I mean Ricky Rose, Gucci,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Jagged Edge, Ja Rule, the City Girls. That that was
- 34:34Speaker 1: kind of crazy their performance. But anyway, today walk off
- 34:39Speaker 1: stage was it was something weird. Belal Tweet, Dougie Fresh,
- 34:44Speaker 1: the Chuck Brown Band, Juvenile ju Juvie, Yeah, Lauren Hill
- 34:50Speaker 1: and then you remember her showed up. She was thirty
- 34:56Speaker 1: minutes late, but that's time for Lauren's the whole time.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yea's time. Yeah, but yeah, Junior, No, seriously, she was
- 35:06Speaker 1: thirty minutes later. But it's all good. We loved Lauren Hill.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Her son Zion joined her on stage, and we all
- 35:13Speaker 1: love the Miseducation of Lauren Hill, her solo album. So
- 35:17Speaker 1: that song was so cool. She dedicated that song to
- 35:20Speaker 1: him back in the day when she wrote it. In
- 35:21Speaker 1: Zion on stage. It was a wonderful moment. Jasmine Sullivan
- 35:26Speaker 1: a shot Tyo little Duvall duvall his friend performance. Yeah, yeah, Wow,

- 35:39Speaker 1: he looked good. He did his thing. I ain't going
- 35:42Speaker 1: back and forth with you. Also, Stacy Abrams was there
- 35:44Speaker 1: reminding voters to get out and vote in Georgia. That's it,

- 36:55Speaker 1: with whether his party controls the two houses of Congress.
- 36:58Speaker 1: All right? Do I need to say that again? Remember this?
- 37:01Speaker 1: The majority party determines who leads important congressional committees. All right.
- 37:07Speaker 1: A president's ability to accomplish his agenda has every thing

- 39:15Speaker 1: from one of our blue eyed brothers. His name is
- 39:17Speaker 1: Tom Thomas, says, Hey, morning crew. When I was a kid,
- 39:20Speaker 1: my mom would let me lock my bedroom door when
- 39:23Speaker 1: I wasn't home. I did it to keep my siblings
- 39:26Speaker 1: from taking or stealing my stuff, and that rule was upheld. Well,
- 39:31Speaker 1: now I'm a parent, and both of my kids, my
- 39:33Speaker 1: twelve year old son and my fourteen year old daughter,
- 39:36Speaker 1: say I should respect their privacy and let them lock
- 39:39Speaker 1: their doors all the time. At what age should kids
- 39:43Speaker 1: be allowed to lock their doors to the bedroom when
- 39:46Speaker 1: they when they get their house and get their own
- 39:49Speaker 1: damn dough, that's when you can lock some dough. So
- 39:53Speaker 1: it goes on the way to you moving out this
- 39:55Speaker 1: house before you can actually lock some doughs around here.
- 39:58Speaker 1: You don't lock no dos right the fact my kids
- 40:01Speaker 1: ain't got no locks on the dough. Hello, he question,
- 40:04Speaker 1: Alicia head for me, how much you got on privae
- 40:09Speaker 1: that's what your mom said. It's Alicia how much you
- 40:13Speaker 1: got on privae. Yeah, you ain't putting that in on propice.
- 40:18Speaker 1: You couldn't even put five on it then, Junior, Right, No,
- 40:22Speaker 1: I slammed the door in my bedroom door when I
- 40:26Speaker 1: was a kid. I slammed the dough one time. Mom
- 40:30Speaker 1: My Daddy came in there and took them took the
- 40:33Speaker 1: dough off the hene in the garage for two months.
- 40:37Speaker 1: You don't slam no doughs around here. Right now, everybody
- 40:41Speaker 1: to come over if I'm in the bed, everybody just
- 40:43Speaker 1: passing by. I mean, while I'm chained, tim me where
- 40:47Speaker 1: your doughet? I don't want to talk about I don't
- 40:49Speaker 1: want to talk about my dough was in the garage

- 40:56Speaker 1: How old were you when? How about thirteen? Slamming dough?
- 41:03Speaker 1: And I thought I was grown because guess what, my
- 41:05Speaker 1: mom and dadd had just got me your phone in
- 41:07Speaker 1: my room. You don't understand that was big back. The

- 53:55Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married to my best friend
- 53:58Speaker 1: for a very long time. He and I do everything
- 54:01Speaker 1: together since we retired this year. We have two daughters
- 54:04Speaker 1: and we visit them often because our oldest daughter just
- 54:07Speaker 1: had her first baby with her husband, and our youngest
- 54:10Speaker 1: just getting ready for her wedding next year. We cannot
- 54:13Speaker 1: stand this guy she's marrying, but we'd never tell her.
- 54:18Speaker 1: We've laughed at our funny looking water head grandson, and
- 54:21Speaker 1: we made jokes about the knockkneed man our other daughter
- 54:25Speaker 1: is engaged to. It's what we do. We like to
- 54:29Speaker 1: people watch and laugh for hours of silly stuff. No
- 54:32Speaker 1: matter where we are. It's never anything so bad that
- 54:35Speaker 1: it would offend anyone. And that's why when my daughter
- 54:37Speaker 1: said we offended her and she doesn't want us at
- 54:39Speaker 1: her wedding, I was shocked. My husband made a joke
- 54:42Speaker 1: about her husband and she didn't think it was funny.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Then he made a joke about her sister's big head baby.
- 54:47Speaker 1: My husband sat back on the sofa with his hot
- 54:49Speaker 1: tea and crossed his legs like he was happy with
- 54:51Speaker 1: himself for letting our child in on our jokes. My
- 54:55Speaker 1: daughter called her sister and told her everything are soon
- 54:58Speaker 1: to be. Son in law didn't like what was about him,
- 55:00Speaker 1: so he challenged my husband to a race. He told
- 55:04Speaker 1: him that they could take it to the streets so
- 55:06Speaker 1: he could show him what his knockkneeds can do. My
- 55:09Speaker 1: husband will not back down from a challenge, and I
- 55:11Speaker 1: am afraid he's going to injure himself if he races
- 55:14Speaker 1: this crooked legged boy. All he talks about is taking
- 55:19Speaker 1: it to the street like it will be the race
- 55:21Speaker 1: of the year. He knows he cannot beat our future
- 55:24Speaker 1: son in law, so why is he letting his ego
- 55:26Speaker 1: take over? Is there any way for me to keep
- 55:29Speaker 1: my husband from racing this boy? Well, you kind of
- 55:33Speaker 1: already answered your question, your own question. The husband and
- 55:36Speaker 1: the fiance both have egos. That's not news though, because
- 55:40Speaker 1: most men have fragile egos, and when their egos take over,
- 55:44Speaker 1: it's like they stop thinking rationally and get into some
- 55:47Speaker 1: sort of beast mode or something. But you know, and
- 55:51Speaker 1: they gotta do it, you know, they got to prove
- 55:53Speaker 1: themselves all right, But the worst part about all this
- 55:56Speaker 1: is that your husband knows he can't talk about anyone's babe,
- 56:00Speaker 1: even his grand baby, no matter how harmless you might
- 56:04Speaker 1: think it is. You got to keep those jokes to yourselves.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I mean, your your daughters are really really sensitive right now.
- 56:10Speaker 1: So keep those jokes to yourselves like you've been doing.
- 56:13Speaker 1: You keep those within the coupledom that you guys have.
- 56:17Speaker 1: The marriage all right, Um, someone is bound to get hurt,
- 56:20Speaker 1: and it seems like your daughters have. Now your husband
- 56:23Speaker 1: is in this mess. If he's retired, I'm thinking he's
- 56:26Speaker 1: pretty up there in age, and your future son in
- 56:29Speaker 1: law it's pretty in pretty good shape, or else he
- 56:31Speaker 1: wouldn't have challenged him. The race is going to be
- 56:34Speaker 1: a disaster. You know this already. H This is a
- 56:37Speaker 1: lose lose situation for both of them. Your husband has
- 56:40Speaker 1: nothing to prove, and kicking you out of the wedding
- 56:43Speaker 1: it's very extreme for your daughter to do, I think,
- 56:45Speaker 1: especially since the father of the bride usually paid for
- 56:48Speaker 1: the wedding. Now, you didn't mention that in the letter,
- 56:50Speaker 1: so maybe that's not the case here, But she did
- 56:53Speaker 1: uninvite you, So I suggest you guys, call some sort
- 56:56Speaker 1: of emergency family meeting with all parties makes some sincere
- 57:00Speaker 1: your apologies to your daughters and their spouses. Tell them
- 57:02Speaker 1: you were just joking. Hopefully they'll accepting you. Guys can
- 57:06Speaker 1: clear the air and start over. Everyone is just so
- 57:08Speaker 1: sensitive these days, so sensitive, Tommy. This is about to
- 57:12Speaker 1: be one raggedy ass race of all times. So get
- 57:17Speaker 1: ready for all right, shirlet's say y'all need to have
- 57:19Speaker 1: any emergency meet No, you need to have an emergency vehicle,
- 57:22Speaker 1: because it's about to be one raggedy race. Get ready
- 57:26Speaker 1: to happen. Okay, and the waterhead board don't need to
- 57:29Speaker 1: be seeing this. I'm just trying to tell you it's
- 57:32Speaker 1: about to be. Let me tell you something. It's about
- 57:34Speaker 1: to be one raggedy race. Right here, the knock need
- 57:36Speaker 1: man racing the old man. This is not good. And
- 57:40Speaker 1: I promise you neither one of my in shape to
- 57:43Speaker 1: run forty fifth they or sixty yard. I promise you
- 57:46Speaker 1: this is gonna be a bus and a fallout in
- 57:48Speaker 1: the wedding. Probably not gonna happen if this race happened.
- 57:52Speaker 1: But what you need to do is shut this down.
- 57:54Speaker 1: If you want your wed in the half. Because if
- 57:55Speaker 1: this race happen, the wed not gonna happen, the knock
- 57:58Speaker 1: need man gonna be laying up in a hospital, and
- 58:00Speaker 1: the old man this runing gonna be land up in
- 58:01Speaker 1: the hospital. Y'all gonna help an issue if this race
- 58:04Speaker 1: takes place. That's just from timmy because I didn't seen
- 58:06Speaker 1: it before. Trust me, get y'all old answer down and
- 58:10Speaker 1: talk about you lived in one of them, you race
- 58:15Speaker 1: coach Prime? Oh god, oh hey, let me let me,
- 58:19Speaker 1: let me, let me go put this out there. I
- 58:21Speaker 1: bet you I can be proud. Nah, I bet you.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I can be pray right, Na? What what? Okay? What?
- 58:29Speaker 1: What's wrong? Call? I can't raise Prime, both of y'all deficit.
- 58:35Speaker 1: H I just got through a castle. I can I
- 58:39Speaker 1: can steal a raise Prime? Did I did? Beat That? Might?
- 58:44Speaker 1: A fact? Not a fact? I raised Prime and Junior
- 58:48Speaker 1: at the same dayntime, what's wrong? I raised Prime and
- 58:54Speaker 1: Junior right there at Jackson State. I swear to guard
- 58:57Speaker 1: you gonna lose right there, Prime and beat you with
- 59:00Speaker 1: a toes. Yes, yes, oh you, oh oh, you going
- 59:05Speaker 1: with less toad than me. That's what we're doing. I
- 59:10Speaker 1: got all ten toes I got all ten toes and
- 59:13Speaker 1: you still going with pray that what you do? Were
- 59:15Speaker 1: you there? We were there? Ye saw it. Y'all going
- 59:20Speaker 1: with Prime with a toes instead of going with me.
- 59:23Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. Hold on, yes, hold on, we're
- 59:28Speaker 1: gonna go Craig right here. Uh, I ain't knocking you.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I'm bowlegged. I ain't knocking me. So what what are
- 59:33Speaker 1: we talking about? We're gonna get in Junior's response coming
- 59:36Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry
- 59:39Speaker 1: Letter subject taking It to the Streets. We'll be back
- 59:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Come on, we got to recap this Strawberry letter. Tommy
- 59:50Speaker 1: threw us for a loop. Uh with that one. I'm
- 59:52Speaker 1: sorry talking about Hill rates Prime and beat him and
- 59:57Speaker 1: Junior together and beat the didn't mean Today's Strawberry Letters
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: subject taking It to the Street. A woman wrote in
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: She's married to her best friend, her husband. They've been
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: married a long time. They do everything together. They're retired.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: They have two daughters. Their oldest daughter just had her
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: first baby, and her youngest daughter is getting ready for
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: her wedding next year. Now the oldest daughter and her
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: husband have a baby that seemingly has a big head,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and they make jokes about it. The dad does, and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the other the fiance, the daughter's fiance has knock knees.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: So um, so anyway, what this what this couple does,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: That is what they do. They you know, go out
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: talk about people and make jokes and you know, just
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: have fun. It's what they do. But they keep it
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: closely knit. They don't tell anyone. But the husband made
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a mistake. The grandfather slash husband made a mistake and
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: told his daughter that her fiance had knees and that
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: the other the sister's baby had a big water head.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: So daughter got yeah, daughter got on the phone, called
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: her sister. They're mad. Um kicked the parents out of
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the wedding and then the knockkneed Beyonce hurt about it,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: so he challenged the husband to a race. The wife
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: who wrote the letter is upset because she doesn't want
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: her husband to race. She thinks he's going to injure himself,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: he's gonna get hurt, and she says, why is he
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: letting his ego take over? And is there any way
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: for her to keep her husband from racing the knockkneed boy.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: So there we are, Junior, Hey, Junior, before you start,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: ny is he Kenny Smith? Knockkneed? How knockneed? Is he?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Is he Spike? Is he Spike Lee Knockneed? You know? Yeah?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: But like you, let me ask you something my mama
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: right didn't let what right now? Like something my mom
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: would do. I love the MoMA and the daddy. I
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: love the fact they honest they opened, because they open
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: there killing themselves about this dude he knocked need for
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: them to talk. I don't suggest he raced the daddy
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: because did fiance already losing the trash talking game. He
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: losing over there? What we're gonna rate for? We just
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: keep talking about these knocking needs? And then they turned
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: in on the grand baby. Yeah, this is my favorite family.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I'm so glad. This is a great wedding to be
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: kicked out of. They have trash talk their weight out
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: of a wedding. Perfect, perfect. They're sitting up there. I mean,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: if you think it's at the grand baby, they're talking
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: about everybody. They at everybody's throat, don't care saying what
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: they saying on their mind. They said he drinking tea
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: crossed his leg and he's talking trash at the same time. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: thinking about grand baby. The head on this board right here,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: boy here, this boy here gon go into boxing. He
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: gonna win too, because the headstrong. They throwing jokes at everybody.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: My daughter marrying this knock need man. She bow legged.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: He knocked kneed. They looked like, oh X. They walking
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: by each other side side, they owe X. How can
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you be mad? Least they're telling the truth. They ain't
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: hide none. They're talking about everybody like his own, probably
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: ninety three. They call her spiritual spirit because she's about
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: to go spiritual. Look at his ain't it over there?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Just spiritual? They talked about his own looking at each other.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: He crossed out. They talk about him. So, how you
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: see the weather looking today? They talk about that time.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: They're going in on everybody. How are you mad at
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: somebody who honest? But Junior, they said they don't. They
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: talk about people, but they don't do it as to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: offend anyone. It's not so bad, just everybody in my fami.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: What did he tell about I've seen it happened men, lie,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I know, I know. It's how you grew up. Junior. Yeah,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: just how I grew up that I can't respect them.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I have no problem. This is This is called leadership
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: in a family. This is called leadership. Leadership in a family.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Time I got an uncle. I got an uncle who
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: ain't worked the thirty five years, and they keep putting
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: job reports out. My grandmother said, this boy that missed
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: every job. They didn't put out five hundred thousand jobs,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and the kind of he missed all five hundred How
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: do you meant five thousand job? You know both job
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: missing it? How can you be mad? Yeah, this is
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: your family, that's honesty. How can you be mad? They're
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: talking about everybody they're not If you talk about the
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: grand baby in his head, how can he be made? Yeah? Well,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: is there a line with the family? Baby head beat?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: We're using him as a tool. He'p breaking down sheet rock.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: We used baby. The baby gonna break down sheet rock
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: for us. We got a demolition baby. Yeah yeah, put
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: the back we ain't got out of the bay and
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: put that head up and get that sheet rock. It's
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: gonna They got kicked out of the wedding Junior. They went.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: They saved money. I think they mad. They didn't say
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: they were mad. They didn't. I'm so glad people saying
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: this because they meant it. All Right, listen, we gotta
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: get out of here. Post your comments on today's Strawberry
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Letters probably FM and Instagram and faith book, and check
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demanded tripping over there
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: now coming up in forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: we got Junior with Sports Talk right after this. You're listening,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: stew All, Right, So Junior, it's Sports Talk and you
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: got the story about Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: What's going on? So y'all seen the video? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you know basketball is back this preseason. They was at practice.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Draymond Green and Jordan Pool had an incident and you
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: could look on the video and see they were talking
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: back and forth each other, but Draymond Green walks up
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: on Jordan Pool. Jordan Pool pushed Draymond Green because you
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you in his private space. You know, you walked up
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: on him, and so he did, he pushed you out
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: of his space. But then with reflex, Draymond Green drops
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Jordan Pool. And then you know the crazy part about
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: this whole thing is this you you as the leadership
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: on the team, cannot take your frustrations out on a
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: player who's just three years in right, Yeah, Draymond, Champion
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Pool is just a kid. You all star. Yeah, you
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: come in and you dropped a dude who contributes to
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: the team. He hit him hard, he did, he drunk.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I mean it was it was. It was just like
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: you would see at school at the park. Yeah, he
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: hit him. Yeah, that was more this more at the
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: park pick up game. Yeah. And you were saying. All
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I said was you know it matters who you hit,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: because trust me, if you'd hit Steph Curry, if you
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: did Steph Curry, your answer is off the team. Your
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: answer is out the league. You yeah, team the franchise. Yeah,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: yeah you can you if you if you hit that
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: light skin boy, you in trouble. I promised no, go ahead,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: car I had a question for you, Junior. So it
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: seems like this was a practice, right, it was a practice.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: It was a practice. So now Draymond's issue is things happened.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: A lot of players were saying the practice get heated,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and there are words things that sad, players getting each
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: other's faces. So Draymond is upset that the video was
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: out because there's been other incidents. According to other players,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: that has happened, So is that part of it? Steve Kerr,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the head culture of the Warriors, saying we have to
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: do better. Draymond has to do better. Who leaked the video? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Draymond.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: But at the same time, though, you can't take your
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: fresh Trussians out on right about on your team? Got Yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: but let me say this, let's let's go back because
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: we saw the last dance. Now, if they'd have had
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: them fund on Jordan whooped a lot of people ass
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: back in the day. Hello, that's a lot of people
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: a matter of fact, he's Steve Kerr. Yes, yeah, you're
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: you're right. Yeah yeah, But in all that space, I
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: think Draymond's wrong and he should apologize to that, y'all. Man,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I think he's done that already. But you've
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: been excused from the team. You've been wow. So okay, Yeah,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: it was all right, junior, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the top of the hour, a woman on social media
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: says her sister is terrible when it comes to men,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: but wants her to set her up with a coworker.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening show
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: all right. So this is in from Gwen on Facebook.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Gwen writes, I love my baby sister, but when it
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: comes to men, she is off the chain. I've seen
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: her go through more men than I can count. Her
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: relationships usually end because she quickly gets bored and starts cheating,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: or she breaks up with the guy for the pettiest reasons. Well,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: yesterday she bumped into me when I was out for
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: work lunch and was instantly flirty and trying to shoot
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: her shot with one of my co workers. Then last
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: night she texted me asking me to set her up
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: with him. He's a nice guy and I don't want
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: to see him get played. I'm thinking of telling her
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he already has a girlfriend. But I'm wondering if I
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: should just be honest and tell her why I won't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: set her up. What do you think? Should I call
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: her out on bad dating behavior or just let it
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: go and light to her about my colleague? What do
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you guys think? Hmm? Interesting? Huh? I think you need
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: to quit trying to play matchmaker and get your ass
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: out of it and let you're supposed to go through
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: whatever the hell is she's going through. She'll get it
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: together at some point m. So you're saying she should
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: just let it go, just let it go. You don't
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: think she should call her ain't ain't she going through people? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: that's exactly. You can't fix that. You got to let
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: that run its course until you you know, after a while,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: you'll get tired of being a mess. After while, if
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: you think, some do, some mature and grow out of it.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Some do. Yeah, ye me before twenty three days, give me,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: come on and get something, Come on and get something.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: This twenty one years before, give me your sister never
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: got married. This is this is this is absolutely despicable.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I can't believe this is a calling. You're judging now
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: that you're married. Yeah, I called twe day. Give me right,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Let me hollow, let me hollig, She says, I don't
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: care if I do have a good friend, but that
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: is not married. I can't believe me and act like
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: this like my little granddaughter says junior. How very dare
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: you very Dare you very dare you? Yeah? Running through me? Yeah?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: So so big says wants to say, you know, should
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: she tell her about herself or should she just let
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: it go and lie about her colleague having a girlfriend.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: So tell me. You're saying stay out of it altogether.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I say stay out of it all together. That's just
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: my you know, absolutely, But what about little sisters pressuring
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: bixis pH number and all of what's big cisc onna site?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Yeah no, she should say no, no, don't even don't
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: even get in it. What time is it? You don't
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: even even get in don't answer her text messages. I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: don't like family drama. I stay my ass. I don't
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: know I do. I still ain't stand it. I ain't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: trying to pook you up. It's the couple from the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: letter earlier. I'll tell you right now. They're talking about it,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: hut right now, talked about doing the butt All right,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: we're gonna move on you. Another question, what's ready to love?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Go off? I'm through im. That's it just too much.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Here's another question from Ricky off of Facebook. Ricky says,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I need some thoughts on how to handle this one.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I've been married for a few years to a woman
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: with two great kids. Now one of them still isn't
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a huge fan of me, but I still keep trying
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: to break through and be supportive. My wife has asked
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: me to adopt them. Both, but it's clear that one
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: has no interest in that, even though his dad is
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: nowhere near in the picture. I suggested just adopting the one,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: but she reviews this as picking favorites and not fair
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: to both of them, the boys in his teens, and
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: it's pretty firm in his stance on this. What's the
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: best way to play this. I'm not adopting it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: we are. Yeah, I'm sorry. You ain't got no father.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: If you're nice ready to love answer, Um, well, I'll
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: try to see what the what the kids need and
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: man to hell with it. I ain't adopting your damn kids,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: especially one that's gonna tell me he don't like me. No,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: damn way, No, I'm not adopting that one. And I'm
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: not adopting of them with either, because he's probably gonna
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: talk to the other one and they both go out
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: a damn food and what you ain't gonna do like
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: a fool? And I didn't gave you my last name,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: damn it, I'm not doing it. I'm sorry, Okay, I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: agree with you, Tommy, all right. More of the Steve

- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Amen to that, the fact that I'm that I'm gonna

- 1:18:15Speaker 1: one more? Would you rather think about this one? Guys?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Would you rather have an extra belly button or would
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: you rather have an extra nostril? What? I ain't using
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: this first bellet button? I have not used it since
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I got it. I'm not I've never used my ballet button.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Now I get that nostril and get some more win

- 1:18:58Speaker 1: know that. All right, Thanks guys, that's today's round. Up,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: would you rather now? Coming up at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: after the hour, it is our last break of the day.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: We'll close out the show right after this. You're listening,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Here we are last break of the
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. UM leave us with some parting words,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: some closing remark. Yeah, I kind of I kind of
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: want to talk about something that's um that's on me
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: right now. Oh, I want to talk a little bit
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: about expectations and I want to talk about patience. But
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw one more thing in there. I'm gonna
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: put need in there. Need, expectations and patience. Uh. It's
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: something that I've been praying about, you know, and I've
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: been asking God for it for quite some time and
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: it hasn't gotten here. And dog, he knows exactly what
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I need. So as I'm saying this to you, I
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: want you all to imagine yourself and plug in your need.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: So I'm talking to God, right and I'm asking God
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: for something that I need and I know I need
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: it because it would it would make some things go
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: so much better, so much smoother, so much easier. Just overall.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: It would just help in so many areas, so I've
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: been praying about it and it hasn't gotten here yet.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: And so my oldest sister texts me the other day
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: and I didn't get back to her, and so just
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: last night she texted me again and just said, hey,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: could you answer my text? I hope things are well
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: with you, Love Mona. And so I text her back
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: and I told everything is fine. I've just been working
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: so much. I said. Sometimes I don't get to answer
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: your text when you send it to me right away
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: because I'll be on the set or something. I'll be
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: doing something. I said, but I get him and I
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: appreciate them. And then I told my oldest sister. I
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: asked her to please pray for me. I said, I
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: pray for a breakthrough for me, something I've been asking
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: God for, so I can just you know, take, you know,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: relax a little bit about this situation. And I went
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: on to tell my sister that's hard being successful and
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: stuff like that, and I said, but we're good. I'm
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: just working real hard. I told I love you, and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: then I said, let me know if you need something.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: She text me back the simplest thing. Now, I remember,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: now I've told you that I was asking God for
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: something that I needed and I had been waiting for it,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and I and I'm almost out of patience, to be
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: honest with you. I just thinking it's taken a while, right,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure you could feel that way too.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Sometimes you ask Golf for something and you're living in
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: the expectation and you get man, let's taking so long,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: and you're getting a little impatient. I think everything that's
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: happened to every person. My sisters simply sent this text
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: backs to me. She said, just take one day at
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: a time. The Lord knows what he's doing. I'm praying
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: for you. That was her message. Now, my sister is
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: eighty two years old. She told her brother, who is like,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: you know, the family guy that they can all come
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: to when they need something. But she simplified it for
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: me so easy. She said, just take one a day
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: at a time. The Lord knows what he's doing. And
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: do you know how much better that made me feel?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I simply back and said, I texted back, I, okay,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I will, because you know this thing that I've been
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: asking God for that I so desperately feel like I need,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and I keep expecting it to happen. But I'm starting
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: to lose patience about it. My sister says something so simple,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: if you just take one day at a time, the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Lord knows what he's doing. And if I look at it.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: In her simple way of talking to her brother, she
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: knows me very well. Her simple way of talking to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: me was letting me know that if you just keep
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: waking up and keep doing what you're doing, God got
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: all this under control. He know what he doing, and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you know what he always has. He's always known what
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: he's doing. Always. He ain't never not known what he
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: was doing. Even when I thought I wanted it to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: go another way, and he worked it out a different way.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: It was for the best, and so I just had
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to grab myself and go, okay, I will And it
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: made me feel better because I said, okay, man, I'm
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: actually okay. I do actually keep waking up. I do
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: keep somehow surviving it all. I'm not just surviving, I'm
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: actually thriving. I'm going through it, but I'm getting through it.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: It's taking a while, but it's in the process and
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: God does know what he's doing. So that settled it
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: for me. So I'm saying to you, if that's something
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: you've been praying about something that you need and you're
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: living your life in the expectation because you know he's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: gonna deliver it for you, but you didn't. Got a
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: little bit impatient with it like I have. Just taking
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: a day at a time. God knows exactly what he's doing.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: He's working on something on your behalf that you don't
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: even know about, and when he give it to you,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: it's gonna fix it all, probably better than you could
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: have ever imagined. Those are my closing remarks. Just something
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: to think about it, man. Yeah, yeah, Wow, that put
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: things in perspective. Yeah, I'm stopping playing in the deck. Yeah. Well,
