- 0:15Speaker 4: Black busy.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Show to.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Joy.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Joy, you gotta do you love, You.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Gotta turn. I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 6: To turn the mouse to turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 6: turn the mouth, turn out, turn the water, look me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come on, come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now. One and all is Steve Harvey. Man
- 2:10Speaker 2: got a radio show. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 2: because God in the blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm
- 2:17Speaker 2: just a recipient. Steve Harvey got a radio show because
- 2:21Speaker 2: God is in the show you favor business.
- 2:25Speaker 4: He showed me some favor.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God is in
- 2:30Speaker 2: a forgiving business. God then forgave me thousands and thousands
- 2:39Speaker 2: of times, you know. And I say that as a
- 2:43Speaker 2: big number like that, because it's probably true. God is
- 2:47Speaker 2: a forgiving God. That's how it exists today, and that's
- 2:50Speaker 2: how you exist today. And one of the things I
- 2:53Speaker 2: want to remind you about even in existing today, you know,
- 2:57Speaker 2: Joel Ostein has a book out called It's Your Time.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I love this book. It's called It's Your Time, And
- 3:05Speaker 2: that's kind of what I want to touch on today.
- 3:07Speaker 2: And I want to remind you all that it's still
- 3:11Speaker 2: your time. See, you know, there's look, you know, they've
- 3:16Speaker 2: got unsuccessful people have created a lot of sayings to
- 3:23Speaker 2: justify our failures as people. Well, my ship has passed.
- 3:30Speaker 2: That was created by a person who did not quite
- 3:36Speaker 2: make their goal in the amount of time that they
- 3:39Speaker 2: had set for. So to justify it, here comes this great,
- 3:42Speaker 2: seemingly very clever saying, and a lot of us adapt, Well,
- 3:47Speaker 2: my ship has passed, so we adopt that.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Here's another one. Well, I guess it just wasn't meant
- 3:52Speaker 4: to be. That sounds good, don't it.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Because they mix it up with a little.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Bit of faith in it. I guessed it was.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Well, here's another one. I guess if God wanted it
- 4:05Speaker 2: for me, i'd have it.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Are you serious, man? Are you serious? You're actually gonna
- 4:14Speaker 4: use that one to justify where you are in life?
- 4:19Speaker 5: Man?
- 4:20Speaker 2: That that's so, that's so not the case. I want
- 4:23Speaker 2: to remind everybody today that it's still your time. That
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know, your ship hasn't sailed. You didn't miss all
- 4:34Speaker 2: of your opportunities. There's others. It's still your time. You know,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you still got a chance. You still have a shot.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Here's a good one.
- 4:49Speaker 4: You still have hope, you do all of you.
- 4:55Speaker 2: As long as God is who he is, there's always
- 5:01Speaker 2: hope for you. You can never lose sight of that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You can never let the devil win that battle that
- 5:07Speaker 2: there is no hope for you and cause you to
- 5:11Speaker 2: do something that's unthinkable. I'm just gonna cash in the chips.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna take my life. I'm gonna commit suicide. No no, no,
- 5:21Speaker 2: wait a second, wait a second, are you for real?
- 5:25Speaker 2: That's not God talking to you. That's something wrong and
- 5:29Speaker 2: it's not coming from him. It's still your time. You
- 5:34Speaker 2: still got a chance. There's always hope.
- 5:37Speaker 4: But listen to me. You got to move and you
- 5:41Speaker 4: got to move on it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So many people are not getting the full benefit of
- 5:48Speaker 2: their life, and so many people are not getting all
- 5:50Speaker 2: the blessings that God has for because you keep waiting
- 5:54Speaker 2: on the perfect time. Man, how many times have I
- 5:57Speaker 2: heard people come to me and say, hey, man, I'm
- 6:00Speaker 2: just waiting on everything to line up right. Man, I'm
- 6:03Speaker 2: waiting on the perfect time to get Hey, can I
- 6:06Speaker 2: tell you something. If I were waiting on the perfect time,
- 6:12Speaker 2: I wouldn't be hardly any of the things that I've become.
- 6:17Speaker 4: And one of my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I wouldn't even have married Marjorie if I was waiting
- 6:26Speaker 2: on the perfect time, because I had gone through what
- 6:29Speaker 2: I thought was enough misery to cover my entire lifetime.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And so when I was first divorced, I just said, man,
- 6:42Speaker 2: it's gonna be five six years before I do this again.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I said it.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Two years later I was married. But guess what, Man,
- 6:54Speaker 2: it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't have my ducks,
- 6:58Speaker 2: all my ducks lined up in a row. It was
- 7:00Speaker 2: still some things I needed to clean up. I even
- 7:03Speaker 2: told her, it's some things I want to clean up
- 7:06Speaker 2: out of my life. Before you know it's it's I
- 7:10Speaker 2: want I want to make sure I got all the
- 7:12Speaker 2: stars a line up.
- 7:13Speaker 4: You know I want to. I want to waiting till
- 7:15Speaker 4: all the ducks are in a row. I was waiting
- 7:17Speaker 4: on the perfect time.
- 7:20Speaker 2: If I had not stopped, and Marjorie and I had
- 7:23Speaker 2: set out and said to each other, there'll be no
- 7:27Speaker 2: perfect time, and then she said, I'll go through with
- 7:31Speaker 2: you whatever you're going through.
- 7:34Speaker 3: That was it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I took a chance. The ducks were not lined up
- 7:41Speaker 2: in a row. Had a lot of baggage in my life, man,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I wanted to try to clear up. I wanted to
- 7:47Speaker 2: do some things financially different. I wanted to just get
- 7:50Speaker 2: rid of some residue I had in my life. She said, no,
- 7:55Speaker 2: we'll do it together, because it ain't no perfect time.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And guess what it wasn't. So if you're out there
- 8:01Speaker 2: waiting on the perfect time to do something, it may
- 8:05Speaker 2: not come. There is no such thing as waiting on
- 8:08Speaker 2: the perfect time. I've said this one hundred times, and
- 8:11Speaker 2: here comes one oh one. The road to success is
- 8:15Speaker 2: always under construction. You ain't finna go out there and
- 8:17Speaker 2: there ain't no barrels on the road. You're not going
- 8:20Speaker 2: out there and not running to detourl signs. You're not
- 8:23Speaker 2: going out there without seeing the men working sign to
- 8:26Speaker 2: get off. You're not going out there to see it.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So guess what, stop waiting on the stars are gonna Man,
- 8:32Speaker 2: this is the perfect time to do it.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Now.
- 8:35Speaker 4: If you're waiting on the perfect time, that could be
- 8:38Speaker 4: one of your biggest problems. You're still waiting.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You have got to move and you've got to move
- 8:43Speaker 2: on it, and you've got to make a decision to
- 8:45Speaker 2: go now. God will get you through everything necessary for
- 8:50Speaker 2: you to get through. But you can't quit though. See
- 8:53Speaker 2: here there's a part. You can't quit just because the
- 8:57Speaker 2: road you're on is under construction. You can't get off
- 9:00Speaker 2: at the exit because you're tired of all the bump
- 9:02Speaker 2: of the bumper traffic.
- 9:03Speaker 4: It's that way.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Get you some God, like I said, get you some God,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and go on and go see what your life can
- 9:11Speaker 2: be like. So stop waiting on the perfect time, stop
- 9:15Speaker 2: waiting on the stars to align themselves. You got to
- 9:18Speaker 2: move and you got to move on it. Get you
- 9:21Speaker 2: some God, apply some faith, and get started. And remember
- 9:25Speaker 2: when you get out there, coming towards your goal, the
- 9:28Speaker 2: road to construct, the road to success is always under construction.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If it was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting
- 9:35Speaker 2: it to be easy. Come on out here, get up
- 9:37Speaker 2: in this thing. It's funky out here. Yeah I got
- 9:39Speaker 2: all that. It's hard out here, yeah I got all that.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But what you want to do, man, Uh, what you
- 9:45Speaker 2: wanna do? You're gonna push your chips up to the window.
- 9:49Speaker 2: It ain't time for that. You still got time, you
- 9:51Speaker 2: still got a chance. There's always hope, there's always God.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That's my conversation today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. The time has come a
- 10:04Speaker 2: new day as upon this God has done it again.
- 10:07Speaker 2: He just keeps showing up. Man, I'm so glad he's
- 10:10Speaker 2: in charge of sunrise, sunset, winn uh cloud cover. I'm
- 10:15Speaker 2: glad he's in charge of that, because man would have
- 10:18Speaker 2: this thing all messed up. Man getting mad one morning.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Wouldn't be no Son, you know, late Lom didn't go off,
- 10:29Speaker 2: Son didn't come up, might be might be racist.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Just rain't on black people today that shoe.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Glad God is God. Thank you, Lord, appreciate you. Today
- 10:44Speaker 2: is the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 10:46Speaker 2: rejoice and.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Be glad in it.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I show him Steve Harvey, Martin, show y'all, show the Strawberry,
- 10:51Speaker 2: Colin Farrel, Mississippi Monica Junior, the legend that is nephew
- 10:55Speaker 2: Tommy Junior.
- 10:56Speaker 4: What is it today?
- 10:57Speaker 7: Man?
- 10:59Speaker 8: He was got just making rain on the certa group
- 11:02Speaker 8: of people.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Well, I'm not a racist person unless you're racist towards me,
- 11:06Speaker 2: then I got buckets for I got buckets of it
- 11:09Speaker 2: for you. But as a person, I'm not racist at all.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I love people. I love where you are to me.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But now if you come to me with that racism
- 11:20Speaker 2: that I had, that for you, I had for you,
- 11:22Speaker 2: if it was you. That's one thing about me, man.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I never lump people in a group. That's the thing
- 11:28Speaker 2: I've always I was taught that way. Just you, as
- 11:32Speaker 2: long as we cool. I'm like this, man, I'm a
- 11:35Speaker 2: cool person. Man, I really am most people I know, Man,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I can get along with. I really can.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Man.
- 11:43Speaker 2: It's just some people, man, just you know, now hate us.
- 11:47Speaker 2: That's a whole nother thing, you know. But once again,
- 11:52Speaker 2: I've never had a hater that was doing better than me.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So I just keep that and impressed forward.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Man.
- 12:00Speaker 4: When I see a person hating on me, I look
- 12:02Speaker 4: at their life and I go, m that's cute. That's cute.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna keep moving though. Yeah. Yeah, how you doing today? Junior?
- 12:13Speaker 4: Always ask you, man, well, how you doing?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Man?
- 12:16Speaker 4: You know what?
- 12:17Speaker 9: Man, I'm good man, you know, I thank God for
- 12:19Speaker 9: the problem, man, thank them for the problem, because I
- 12:22Speaker 9: usually didn't have them.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I usually didn't have them. What I ain't had nothing?
- 12:26Speaker 4: What do you mean you're thinking for the problem? What
- 12:29Speaker 4: does that mean? What are you going to mean?
- 12:30Speaker 9: Because I elevated my life to where I have these
- 12:33Speaker 9: issues I got to work through when when I was,
- 12:36Speaker 9: when I was out here on the road doing nothing,
- 12:37Speaker 9: I ain't had these issues.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Okay, So you're grateful for the problems, grateful for a problem,
- 12:44Speaker 2: new level, new devil.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you grateful for the level. So you deal

- 12:58Speaker 7: no more damn problem. I don't want I don't want
- 13:00Speaker 7: another problem. If I can go another thing without a problem,
- 13:02Speaker 7: I'd be great.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Signed up, possible.
- 13:06Speaker 9: What what.

- 13:49Speaker 6: church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam Oh.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Oh we.
- 13:59Speaker 3: We we.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Yeah, we gabled in this most poscurious way.
- 14:09Speaker 2: As we austronize our way into brevity, iniquity and longevity
- 14:18Speaker 2: of overlation for the domination overlation in terms of creation,
- 14:28Speaker 2: we prostallize in all in the most vigarious way. Let
- 14:40Speaker 2: us let us bow down to the Bible, to the
- 14:43Speaker 2: vobo copulations of a man of such as myself, Ladies
- 14:49Speaker 2: and gentlemen, digging death jail with church complaints, Lord.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Yes, yes, all right, let's get started past.
- 14:57Speaker 7: Since that Glenda Hayes on Bay all after shoplifting with
- 15:02Speaker 7: with her church rolled on at the grocery store. She
- 15:06Speaker 7: stole six briskets, eight slabs of ReBs, and six chickens.
- 15:10Speaker 7: She almost made it out the door, but one of
- 15:12Speaker 7: the chickens fell through her bra The choir, the choir
- 15:16Speaker 7: has kicked her out and she is asking for you
- 15:19Speaker 7: to get to see if you can get her reinstated.
- 15:21Speaker 7: That's what she's asking for.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Well, we are going to forgive or her with this
- 15:28Speaker 2: transgression because we realized she was in there trying to
- 15:32Speaker 2: get all this meat for the Sanday barbecue.
- 15:35Speaker 4: For the building fund. I knew it, and I knew
- 15:38Speaker 4: it was gonna be a major contribution.
- 15:41Speaker 2: When I found out she had them six briskets, I said, Lord,
- 15:44Speaker 2: the money we could raise towards the building fund. When
- 15:48Speaker 2: Ben I said, we're gonna forgive her and on this
- 15:51Speaker 2: one and this this time only. Though, all right, all right,
- 15:56Speaker 2: all right, oh, she is gonna have to pay for
- 15:59Speaker 2: the cleaning the robe. Though there was a lot of
- 16:01Speaker 2: blood splat on the roade from the from the brisket.
- 16:04Speaker 2: In the rear, there was, yeah, well he has something
- 16:11Speaker 2: interesting here. Brother Doning Cambo.
- 16:14Speaker 7: Brother Doning Camba was getting a U acupuncture treatment on Friday.
- 16:20Speaker 7: His wife was in the lobby when with all of
- 16:23Speaker 7: his things, his phone rang and she answered it. Donna
- 16:27Speaker 7: got up with one hundred and twenty needles stuck in
- 16:29Speaker 7: his body and went to the lobby and grabbed his
- 16:32Speaker 7: phone and said let's go home.
- 16:33Speaker 4: He still got them needles in him right now. He
- 16:36Speaker 4: asking the church, well we come get him out. Well, no,
- 16:40Speaker 4: we're gonna have to go down there to the people
- 16:42Speaker 4: that put him in. We don't threw up. We don't
- 16:46Speaker 4: do achle punkle or here, so is it. We don't
- 16:51Speaker 4: do achle punkle.
- 16:53Speaker 2: The people put them needles in because I'm not going
- 16:57Speaker 2: down there pulling needles out of no body. Lord didn't
- 17:01Speaker 2: call me for that. I didn't put him in there,
- 17:04Speaker 2: and so don't worry about that. And anyway, we black
- 17:09Speaker 2: people don't need to go down there getting the acapunker
- 17:13Speaker 2: because it ain't for us. Yeah, yeah, we're not supposed
- 17:19Speaker 2: to be down there. You don't know what them people
- 17:21Speaker 2: digging in you. Yeah, I like Chinese writing on your
- 17:27Speaker 2: neck as a tattoo.
- 17:28Speaker 4: You don't know what they saying.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I had my youngest brother got a tattoo in Chinese
- 17:38Speaker 2: on his neck and started dating an Asian girl and
- 17:42Speaker 2: she told him what admitting they broke up.
- 17:46Speaker 4: What they didn't mean.
- 17:49Speaker 2: She called him and she thought that was his nickname
- 17:52Speaker 2: and it wasn't. It was black bastard, right, all right?
- 17:59Speaker 4: Pass the listen. Everybody broke up.
- 18:03Speaker 1: On you had to tell because you was across the line.
- 18:08Speaker 3: But then.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Way across the line, this a problem. Come out, it's
- 18:15Speaker 4: a product. Come out.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Hear me out.
- 18:19Speaker 7: Since the Pamela Skinner says, please tell the the sisters
- 18:23Speaker 7: in the church to quit looking at Brother Skinner like that.
- 18:27Speaker 4: That is not what they think that is. That's two
- 18:30Speaker 4: rolls of quarters in his pocket. They own a.
- 18:32Speaker 7: Bending machine company. But these women are really looking at
- 18:37Speaker 7: Brother Skinner. So she's asking that you talked to these women. Well,
- 18:41Speaker 7: I understand the difficulty I suffer from the same thing.
- 18:50Speaker 7: These are quarters. An'll have dollar, you know what I'm saying.
- 18:53Speaker 7: So you know we're gonna we'll get that straightened out.
- 18:56Speaker 7: Though it's all right.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Mm hmm. Brother. The same thing with Deacon Jr. Though
- 19:04Speaker 4: he had pities. Well, I speaking of.
- 19:09Speaker 7: Ban's off because you could have had Tussi rolls. That's
- 19:15Speaker 7: our head time. Pastor Brother Rashie was called cheating on
- 19:19Speaker 7: his barber. His real barber passed by another barbershop and
- 19:23Speaker 7: saw his car outside. So when Rashid came to his
- 19:27Speaker 7: shop three weeks later, his barber cut plugs in his
- 19:30Speaker 7: head and he's uh, he's asking uh.
- 19:33Speaker 4: He he asked him where is the loyalty?
- 19:36Speaker 7: Rashid is asking if the church would pay for a
- 19:38Speaker 7: lace front till his hair girl bad.
- 19:40Speaker 2: We don't get involved in barbershop walls. We don't do
- 19:43Speaker 2: that at this here church. We are the jackpot Joint
- 19:47Speaker 2: of Jerusalem. Let's be clear about that. We don't navigate
- 19:52Speaker 2: situations or where you get your hair done. We don't care,
- 19:57Speaker 2: we don't care. We would like to send a special
- 20:00Speaker 2: shout out door to Johen Babbles.
- 20:03Speaker 4: I'm not gonna do it.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Hallowelujah, Glory, Hallelujah, gloryy.
- 20:11Speaker 4: I saw that Cliff past dazy job. He's doing it. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 4: speaking of least runs.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Especially especially gave me joy when he was doing a
- 20:30Speaker 2: medley of an old hits and he was doing all
- 20:35Speaker 2: l t ds holding on.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We're gonna pray for brother Johnny.

- 20:50Speaker 1: of the hour.
- 20:51Speaker 6: In entertainment news, more bad press for Diddy after a
- 20:55Speaker 6: woman claims what a lot of people already knew or suspected,
- 20:58Speaker 6: that Diddy was the one that shot her in the
- 21:00Speaker 6: face not Shine some twenty five years ago. Oh b
- 21:09Speaker 6: ET's comic View is set to return this month with
- 21:12Speaker 6: Mike EPP's hosting, and Rihanna is paid over six million
- 21:16Speaker 6: dollars to perform at a pre wedding party in India.
- 21:19Speaker 6: That's all coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:22Speaker 6: but right now it is time to ask the clo.
- 21:25Speaker 6: This one's from Raven and Beaumont. Raven writes, I don't

- 21:32Speaker 6: dating multiple men. I light of men just like they
- 21:36Speaker 6: light of women. I go on lots of great dates
- 21:39Speaker 6: and I don't have to have sex. Why are people
- 21:41Speaker 6: so quick to judge women nowadays.
- 21:43Speaker 4: But not men.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Well it has always been that way. It's been a
- 21:47Speaker 2: double standard. But me and get judged too because men
- 21:50Speaker 2: being called dogs for years. You can live your life
- 21:54Speaker 2: as you choose, young lady, but there's a price for it. Remember,
- 21:57Speaker 2: young people, the decision you make today will affect your tomorrow.
- 22:02Speaker 2: See this is what happens when you have this philosophy. Here,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I'm living my life for today and well supposed tomorrow
- 22:09Speaker 2: come and it oftentimes shows up. And there's a price
- 22:13Speaker 2: for that. And so you can do it like you
- 22:16Speaker 2: want to. You can call it whatever philosophy you want to,
- 22:19Speaker 2: or live whateverything, and you can blame it on old
- 22:21Speaker 2: school thinking.
- 22:22Speaker 4: You can do whatever you like.
- 22:24Speaker 2: There is a price for that, and you will have
- 22:26Speaker 2: to pay it based on your decision. I'm not judging you.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I'm just telling you that these are the facts. You
- 22:32Speaker 2: can't just live your life for today because tomorrow just
- 22:36Speaker 2: might come. So understand the decisions you make today will
- 22:40Speaker 2: affect your tomorrow. So keep on spreading yourself around, keep
- 22:44Speaker 2: on dating, keep online. It's gonna come back to you.

- 53:50Speaker 6: Subject I'm about to take another flight. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:54Speaker 5: I'm huh.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:58Speaker 6: I'm married and I have a male best friend that
- 54:01Speaker 6: just moved to Hawaii. My husband couldn't be happier that
- 54:04Speaker 6: he moved so far away. I'm excited too, because we've
- 54:08Speaker 6: been sleeping together for three years. I was tired of
- 54:11Speaker 6: playing things off in front of my husband. I went
- 54:14Speaker 6: out to Hawaii to help him find temporary housing, and
- 54:17Speaker 6: I told my husband I was in San Antonio with
- 54:19Speaker 6: my sister. My sister is in on it, and she
- 54:22Speaker 6: makes me feel bad about sneaking around on my husband.
- 54:26Speaker 6: She says that's when things happen. She's trying to jinx me,
- 54:29Speaker 6: so I stopped sharing my business with her. I went
- 54:32Speaker 6: out to Hawaii last weekend and my husband got suspicious.
- 54:36Speaker 6: He could not find the flight on our credit card bill,
- 54:38Speaker 6: so I had to tell him I used my points
- 54:41Speaker 6: to fly free. Luckily, he's not a savvy traveler and
- 54:45Speaker 6: lets me handle travel arrangements when we travel, but something
- 54:50Speaker 6: about this last trip has him on edge and he's
- 54:53Speaker 6: been questioning me. I did not know that his friend
- 54:56Speaker 6: used to work in Hawaii and told him one of
- 54:59Speaker 6: my pictures looks like the place he used to hang
- 55:01Speaker 6: out two years ago. My husband called my sister and
- 55:04Speaker 6: she did a great job at lying it's her husband
- 55:07Speaker 6: that I'm worried about.
- 55:08Speaker 1: All I could do is act like my husband is
- 55:10Speaker 1: making me really mad with his behavior.
- 55:12Speaker 6: I've shut down sex and I barely talk to him,
- 55:15Speaker 6: but reverse psychology is not working on him. I may
- 55:18Speaker 6: have to take another flight and make it a permanent
- 55:21Speaker 6: one this time. My best friend and lover said he's
- 55:24Speaker 6: not going to lie if my husband calls him.
- 55:27Speaker 5: What am I.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Supposed to do?
- 55:29Speaker 3: Oh?
- 55:30Speaker 1: Okay, so now you want our advice?
- 55:32Speaker 6: Ave, you've been doing your dirt with your so called
- 55:35Speaker 6: best friend, this male friend of.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Yours for three years. It sounds like now that your
- 55:40Speaker 1: husband is getting suspicious, you've got one foot out of
- 55:44Speaker 1: the door. Anyway.
- 55:45Speaker 6: You said you might have to take a flight and
- 55:46Speaker 6: it might be permanent this time. So what do you
- 55:50Speaker 6: need our help for? I mean, do you want us
- 55:52Speaker 6: to convince your best friend, your side piece to lie
- 55:55Speaker 6: to your husband instead of telling him the truth about
- 55:57Speaker 6: you guys?
- 55:58Speaker 1: Or maybe you want Steve and I.
- 55:59Speaker 6: To help you come up with a lie to tell
- 56:02Speaker 6: your husband about what's been happening in Hawaii where you've
- 56:05Speaker 6: been going. You already have your sister lying for you,
- 56:08Speaker 6: but she doesn't want to do it, and now you're
- 56:10Speaker 6: worried about her husband. Either way, we want no parts
- 56:14Speaker 6: of this. Okay, you haven't said your husband is a
- 56:17Speaker 6: bad man. You haven't said he's cheated on you. You
- 56:20Speaker 6: haven't said he abused you in any way, or it
- 56:22Speaker 6: is terrible in bed. You've said none of those things.
- 56:25Speaker 6: So you're just cheating for whatever reason. I mean, you've
- 56:29Speaker 6: gotten sloppy with covering up your tracks, and now you're
- 56:32Speaker 6: about to get busted. So you want our help.
- 56:34Speaker 1: That's it, period, That's what it is. I can't help you, Steve.
- 56:39Speaker 4: This is a great, great, great letter because I'm going
- 56:46Speaker 4: to expose something here. And this goes especially to the
- 56:51Speaker 4: women on this show who are vehement, vehement supporters of
- 56:57Speaker 4: the truth.
- 56:59Speaker 2: These women on my show love honesty, forth rightness, righteousness.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Oh my god, they.
- 57:14Speaker 5: They loved.
- 57:16Speaker 4: The liar. But oh, here we have a letter with
- 57:23Speaker 4: a woman in it. And I ain't doing nothing but line.
- 57:26Speaker 2: I could not read this letter fast enough because they
- 57:30Speaker 2: would just lie after lie after lie after lie. And
- 57:34Speaker 2: let's get into this wonderful letter. I'm married and I
- 57:37Speaker 2: got a male best friend. How many times do I
- 57:41Speaker 2: have to keep telling y'all about these opposite sex best friends?
- 57:46Speaker 2: How many times do I have to tell you that
- 57:50Speaker 2: ninety nine point nine percent of the time this don't work,
- 57:54Speaker 2: especially if you're in a relationship. If you're in a
- 57:57Speaker 2: committed relationship and your best friend is of the opposite sex,
- 58:02Speaker 2: but the same sex as the person you're in a
- 58:04Speaker 2: committee relationship with, it's gonna create a problem ninety nine
- 58:09Speaker 2: point nine percent of the time.
- 58:12Speaker 4: And here we go again.
- 58:14Speaker 2: I have a male best friend that just moved to Hawaii,
- 58:18Speaker 2: and my husband couldn't be happy that he moved so
- 58:20Speaker 2: far away. I'm excited because we've been sleeping together for
- 58:23Speaker 2: three years. WHOA just right off the dribble, this letter
- 58:29Speaker 2: going the hell ride off the top. I was tired
- 58:33Speaker 2: of playing things off in front of my husband, and
- 58:35Speaker 2: I went to Hawaii to help him find temporary housing.
- 58:38Speaker 2: And I told my husband I was in San Antonio
- 58:40Speaker 2: with my sister. Come on, lie, come on, lie, you
- 58:46Speaker 2: told your husband using San Antonio, but you really flew
- 58:49Speaker 2: to Hawaii.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Well, ladies, here is what line looks like.
- 58:56Speaker 2: And now let me tell you why she ain't good
- 58:59Speaker 2: at this, and I'll show you that shortening. My sister
- 59:02Speaker 2: is in on it, and she makes me feel bad
- 59:04Speaker 2: about sneaking around on my husband. She said, that's when
- 59:07Speaker 2: things happen. She trying to jinx me. She ain't trying
- 59:11Speaker 2: to jinx you. She warning you. It's call of warning.
- 59:15Speaker 2: She not brought see right here. When people want to
- 59:18Speaker 2: do wrong, they can justify anything wrong. She trying to
- 59:20Speaker 2: jinx me. Your sister is trying to warn you, so
- 59:25Speaker 2: I stopped sharing my business with her. I went on
- 59:28Speaker 2: to Hawaii last week, and my husband got suspicious because
- 59:30Speaker 2: he couldn't find a flight on that credit card, so
- 59:32Speaker 2: I had to tell him I used my points to
- 59:34Speaker 2: fly free. Luckily, he's not a savvy traveler and lets
- 59:37Speaker 2: me handle travel arrangements when we travel, but something about
- 59:41Speaker 2: this last trip has him on the edge.
- 59:43Speaker 4: He's been questioning me.
- 59:45Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 59:47Speaker 2: I did not know that his friend used to work
- 59:50Speaker 2: in Hawaii and told him one of my pictures looked
- 59:54Speaker 2: like the place he used to hang out two years ago.
- 59:56Speaker 4: What is your dumb ass taking picture? So hang on,
- 59:59Speaker 4: see right, don't do that.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: We'll have part two of your response coming up to
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: today's Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Today's subject is I'm about to take another flight. We'll
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: get back into it right after this. You're listening hard
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Morning show, All right, Come on Steve Let's recap Today's
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: The subject is I'm about to take another flight.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: This could be one of my all time favorite letters
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: because of Shirley and Carlin's attitude toward the truth.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: There are truth lovers. They insist on telling the truth.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Why do men lie? You ain't got the lie? Craig
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: all this?
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Ye lie?
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: Why you got to keep lying?
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Well, now we got a letter with a woman full
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: of lines. Married, got a male best friend to just
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: move to Why you? My husband couldn't be happy that
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: it moved. I'm excited too, because we've been sleeping together
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: for three years. How many times I gotta tell y'all
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: about these best friends of the opposite sex. When you're
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: in a committee relationship and your best friend is the
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: same sex as your mate, it's gonna be a problem.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: It usually is.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: This wasn't even bigger than that, because they sleeping together.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: She told her lie told her husband that she was
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: in San Antonio with her sister. She'd that flew to Hawaii. Ooh,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: that's a big trip. Your sister here and owner and
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: she done told you that. She tried to make you
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: feel bad about sneaking around on your husband. She said,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: that's when things happened. She trying to jinx me. Your
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: sister trying to warn you stupid. So I stopped sharing
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: my business with her. I went out to Hawaii last
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: week and my husband got suspicious. So he couldn't find
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: a flight on the credit card. So I told him
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I used my points. Luckily, he ain't a savvy traveler, right,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: but something about this last trip got him on edge.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: I told him, and I didn't know that his friend.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Used to work in Hawaii and told him one of
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: my pictures looked like the place he used to hang
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: out two years ago.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: Wait a minute, what what you posting pictures for? How
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: stupid can you be? You can't cheat and post pictures now?
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Your husband free in the salt picture and said they
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: looked like a place he used to hang out with
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: in Hawaii. You said you was in San Antonio. San
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Antonio don't look like Hawaii. It ain't nothing in San
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Antonio that looked like No damn Hawaii.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Nothing nothing.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: The river walk, the river ain't that ain't in Hawaii.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: The Alamo ain't no cliffs in waves in San Antonio?
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: What are you posting pictures?
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: There?
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Ain't got no way down in Santo San Antonio, sell
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: pineapple baculs. What did you taking pictures for your stupid ass?
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: You in San Antonio? You know that about Alamo? Yes,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: that's Afford with some guns on it. You taking a
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: picture of people doing all halui with a pig on
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: the stick.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: They don't do that san Antonio, stupid.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Not the dude trailing the fire with a with a
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: hoopskirt on with grass and a laid around his neck.
- 1:03:14Speaker 12: Now that ain't in San Antonio. They ain't having a
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: fiesta down there. Stupid ass, get busted. Ooh you stupid.
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: I can't stand with stupid people lying.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: It just sickens me.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Anyway, my husband called my sister and she did a
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: great job of lying. It's her husband that I'm worried about.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: You know why, because you got too many people in
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: on your line. You got way too many people in here.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: All I could do is act like, oh, my husband
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: is making me really mad, and I just shut down
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: sex and I barely talk to him. But reverse psychology
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: is not working on him. I may have to take
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: it another flight and make it a permanent one this time.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Wait a minute, what yeah you thinking about going to
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Hawaii and making this a permanent flight. My best friend
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: and lover said, he's not gonna lie to my husband
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: if he calls him. What am I supposed to do?
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Wait a minute, why would your husband call him? But
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: wait a minute, what makes you think that he wants
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: you to fly to Hawaii and stay with him. He
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: just wants you to come in, hook him up, and
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: get out. You're not as important to his best friend
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: as you think. He ain't asked you to marry him.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: You gonna get on that plane and you ain't gonna
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: have a way to live.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: You stupid. You don't even know how to lie that part.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: You got too many people in on your lie. You
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: just don't. You just don't even know.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: You're telling him your asses in San Antonio when you're
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: in Hawaii and you're taking pictures in Hawaii?
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: What is all in waves? Where the waves keeping from
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: the waves in San Antonio? What is you talking? What
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: cliff is you on in San Antonio? How's you on
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: a cliff? What heill side?
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: How you?
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: How's you taking bike rides up in the rain clouds?
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: Where that's that? In San Antonio? They doing a.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Hula dance and a fire dance and all this here
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Hawa katta? Howard they doing Hawaiian dancers? They don't do that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: You're two damn close to Mexico. You can't get Mexico
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: confused with Hawaiian.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You hate a stupid liar.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I know they got the same kind of hand, they
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: about the same complexion. But ain't nobody falling for this?
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Hawaiians is not Mexicans. Yes, color, volcano, the volcano, all
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: Back.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: Where did they put a volcano down there? By the
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: damn Alimo?
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I'm asking you, wee girl, what is all them sparks
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: and ashes flying in the back?
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Oh oh, that's at the Wild Cowdy on Wild Cowdy Night.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: They have volcano over. No, that's a real volcano. Helpa,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Why are you running from? Why is you running from? Lava?
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: In this picture?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Rights you doing?
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Wait a minute? What whale? Seeing whales? All right?
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Listen?

- 1:06:39Speaker 6: free never sounded so good.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Coming up next it is Junior and Sports Talk. Right
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: after this.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for Junior and Sports Talk,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: which you got Junior.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: Let's say congratulations to Lebron James.
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: Lebron James because the first player to score forty thousand
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: points in the NBA, saying, come on, Lebron, broun Ron,
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: love Lebron, and he said, this is the biggest thing
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: I've ever done in my career.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: He took it and stride like, hey, it's forty thousand points.
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: We want championships.
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: And does this make him any better prepared to Jordan's.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Well listen to me. You cannot deny what this dude
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: is doing at thirty nine. I mean at this at
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: he about to be forty. To play this long, at
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: this level, We've never seen this before. He is a
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: he's a unicorn man. He's a one of a kind.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: He's a one of one. I've seen both of them play.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: With my own eyes.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: And the physicality of Joe Jordan and Lebron. Lebron was
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: more intimidating coming down the line because he's two fifty
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: to sixty whatever he is. You know, that's imposing guy
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: coming down the line. But he's been coming down the
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: lane with less people who who. It's some people that
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: used to stay down that didn't let you come down
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: that lane either though, So the physicality of the game
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: is totally different. I can't listen, man, I've changed my
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: debate because if you look at the errors, Jordan was
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: the greatest basketball player in his air.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Jordan is the greatest basketball player in his era.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: But the greatest player of all time that I ever
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: saw play basketball was Jordan that I saw play basketball
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: and the way he played it. But at that same time,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: I've never seen nobody play this game like Lebron for
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: as long.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: But then that ass Kobe don't oh yeah.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Yeah, just a mental level of basketball that was so
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: nasty and tenacious. So there's an argument for them three.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: But the numbers, the numbers are are trending towards Lebron.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: But them six rings though. Six you see that's a
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: number you got When to Leaven Lebron said it, you
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: don't care about the forty he need titles.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: Well, if that's the mark, then he said it. Yeah yeah.
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: But congratulations to Lebron, man, I mean, he's a bad boy.
- 1:09:38Speaker 12: First history, he's still playing, still plays, he's a nasty
- 1:09:44Speaker 12: little something now and you.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Know what he had?
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: Ohio upo.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: No, he don't even look so I know where from
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: a back rod. That's how we make him up there.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Thank you Jr.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour. Steven Mann
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: needs you your help. His wife is trying to invade
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: his personal space. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: You're listening morning show, all right, Steve.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: This is from Frazelle in Auburn.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: Britzelle says, I have a lot of land that I
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: hunt on and ride my ATVs on with my boys.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: We get out there and build bonfires and drink beer
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: all winter. I bought a small camper and we built
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: a little outhouse. This is all just for me, and
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: I let my wife and two daughters have the whole house.
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: But now she is planning to invade my space. She
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: wants our fourteen year old daughter and her friends to
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: go quote glamping. She wants me to make the area
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: safe by putting up an expensive electric fence. How do
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: I put my foot down nicely and tell her to
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: go find somewhere else to play?
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: Oh, perhaps to say that, or you could do this
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: man and let them go glamping.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: And you know, just you gotta put a generator out there,
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: gas power generator, and then you just got to put
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: up the little fence and just let her.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: Let her go glamping and the rest of the beef.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: You and your boys understand that.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: So now you can do that, or you can say, hey, baby,
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I've just got that set up for the men that
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: ain't nowhere, or just let them go glamping somewhere else.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: They have glamping places. She can go rent a cabin
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: and all this hell, but she ain't gonna go glamping
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: with that outhouse.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: Eating been nothing glamorous about that.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Women do not like using the bathroom outside. Ain't no water,
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: outhouse don't flush. Oh god, I didn't know that outhouse
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: don't flush.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: I didn't know that.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: There's not our outhouse. I've seen on earth that flushes.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: So have you ever weren't driving down and you've seen
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: a construction site, you've seen a porter body?
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: Yeah right there, that's okay.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: When you when you build an out house in the woods,
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: you dig a hole, you set up a box, you
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: put an opening in the box, you put a structure
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: over it. Or you can go in and shut the door.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: There ain't no electricity ain't nothing. You sit on that
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: box with that hole in it, you handle your beers
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: is down in the hole, and you get.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Up and you walk off, and it's biodegradable.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: There, What are you talking about? Degraded?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: It just goes back to the earth.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: I mean, I mean, it's boo boo and urine. It's
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: boo boo and urine.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: We know what it is.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: You just really had to say that breakfast.
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: Yeah, why did you say that?
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: You know, as you get older, you know, you just
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: get the hell out of it sometimes learning stuff out.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: In it.
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Number one and number two you surprise on your face.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're gonna have to move on.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: What is the problems? How you trying to dress this up?
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: It's biodegradable. What is you're talking about?
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: I'm just saying it goes back to the earth, right,
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: that's I mean, that's why they don't flush or anything,
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: or they just let it stay.

- 1:14:20Speaker 6: I'm always dressed nicely, and so is my daughter. How
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: do I get him and his mama to understand that
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: I'm taking care of my responsibilities while still enjoying my It.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Don't matter when you pay the child support. You have
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: no say so, you just make the payment. Dog Quit
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: looking over there, because all that money ain't going towards
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: the child personally. It goes to the child's lifestyle and
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: her mama is benefiting from it. Tada, that's the magic show.

- 1:18:41Speaker 5: Last one?

- 1:18:50Speaker 7: A and be.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Either one? And we're gonna We're gonna do it either
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: way or go hurting though. Yeah, yeah, we'll get through it.

- 1:19:14Speaker 4: my whole leg feel better.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: I've had sex and the sickles live price because I

- 1:19:26Speaker 4: I didn't have sex this which you have. Yeah, okay,
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: come on, come on, hell, I can't talk either. Junior
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: having sex with a crisis.
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: Is he good?
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Coming up next, last break of the day, and Steve
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Harvey will close out the show right after that.
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: You're listening hardy morning?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are, last break of the
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: day on this Monday.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Why did I elet me talk to y'all for a
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: minute in my clothes remarks? Because I was thinking about this.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: I was talking to a young person recently over the weekend,
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: and this person was just going on and on and
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: on about that situation. And they were talking about the
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: decisions they made that hadn't worked out for them and
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: how they were feeling about everything, and they were just
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: going on and on, and I noticed something.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: That he just kept doing.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: And every time he said something that went wrong, it
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: was always somebody else. Somebody did this, somebody changed their minds,
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: somebody did this, and he just kept complaining. Now, finally
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: I got just tired of it, I said, young man,
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: I said, can I help you with something? I said,
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: you know what, if you want to get better control
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: of yourself, of your situation, of your life, I said,
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: you got to stop blaming everybody you have, Miss Harvey.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: You won't understand if they did what they said they
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: was gonna do, I wouldn't be in this position. If
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: this person right here had to change they mind I
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: wouldn't have been in this position. And if this person
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: right here had to come through when they was supposed to,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: I wouldn't be in this position. I said, young man,
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: you not change anything and do nothing about anything. Somebody
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: else does nothing. You can only control you, I said, brother,
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: listen to me. Every time you get into a situation
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: and it grows awrid for whatever the reason, your one
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: mission in life should be what could I have done
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: differently to bring about a different result, Because you know what,
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: that's the one person you can control in any equation.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: I don't care what your situation is. You have a
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: part to play in everything. You listen to this person
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: that was your fault. You hung out with this person
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: that was your fault. You trusted this person that was
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: your fault. Maybe you need to be make better decisions
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: with who you talk to, who you waiting on, and
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: who you trusted in. I said, see, brother, but how
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: you know how people are? How you know how people
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: going to be? I said, brother, you listening to me,
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: you don't, but you do know how you are? I said, look, man,
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: stop blaming everybody for where you at, because you are
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: never going to grow because the only chance you have
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: it grows is to accept your responsibility and change the
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: way you've been doing business or conducting business. You can,
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: you can, actually, you have a say so in who
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: you hang out with. You have a say so in
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: yes or no. You agree that was your decision?
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: So what they.
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: You agreed?
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: I said, brother, you couldnot improve a situation until you
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: improve yourself or I kind of see what you're saying now,
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: mister Harvey, But you still don't understand.
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: See you that I already made it, so it's easy
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: for you to say it. I said, what a man, man, stop,
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: stop houmbotoe.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: I say, right there, what you're not finna do is
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: just make it look like I magically appeared, like I'm
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: a box of lucky charms. Siria, you talking to me
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: like I woke up yesterday and made it. I said, Bro,
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: you don't even know the journey. Well, I hadn't heard
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: your story, mister Harvey, and I understand that. But you know,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: you know that happened a long time ago to you.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: I said, exactly, I said, did it not only happen
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: to me a long time ago, it happened to me
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: for a long time.
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: I say, how are you? Brother?
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: He said thirty two? He told me where he worked.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: He told me how much you made for a living.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: I said, brother, do you know how much better off
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: you are right now at thirty two than I was
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: at thirty two? I was living in a car.
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I heard you say that, miss hard But look
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: at you now? Okay, cool, I said, bro, But you.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Know what, you never once heard me tell my story
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: about living in a car, and I blamed anybody for
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: being in that car.
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: You know why I was homeless, brother.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Because of a series of decisions I made, Because a
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: path I chose because of a road I went down.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I said, do you know why I have two divorces
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: under my belt because the decisions I made. I tell
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: jokes about my ex wife and all like that, and
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: I said, listen to me, man, I don't blame none
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: of them. I take full responsibility for my role in
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: that because I played a role in that.
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: I made decisions, I did things that bought about this thing.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: It ain't their fault, I said, bro, I've often said
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: that the first time I got married, I shouldn't have
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: been nobody's house, and I've said that a thousand times.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: I took responsibility for it. I took responsibility for the
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: second I married for the wrong reason. I took responsibility
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: for that. Oh, I got it was jacked up and
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: messed up, but I made that decision. So guess what
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: I was able to do. I was able to fix
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: both of those because I learned from my mistakes. Whenever
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: you find yourself in a plight or a situation, just
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: point the finger at yourself and say, what could I
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: have done differently?
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: What have I learned in this moment of adversity?
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Because again, again, behind every moment of adversity that is
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: a blessing and a blessing, and you can take away
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: both of them if you just admit your role in it. Man,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Quit blaming people for your plight. You are where you
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: are because of a series of decisions you made. If
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: you ain't happy with your life, your decisions, and do
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: you know something else, here's the upside to everybody. I
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: don't care where you are today. You can make a
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: decision today that can change your tomorrow. But that decision
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: is up to you. You right now, who are despondent, downtrodden,
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: feeling lost. You can make a decision today that can
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: immediately start to affect your tomorrow. So what you're waiting on,
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: what you waiting on, the decision is yours period. Those
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: are my closing remarks. Hope you enjoyed it. If you didn't,
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: we'll be here tomorrow, God willing, We'll try something else.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: You don't like that, We'll be here win.
