- 2:02Speaker 1: well a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, do tickle me when I said,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but I do like I say always. It just is
- 2:18Speaker 1: a constant remind of of how good God has been,
- 2:21Speaker 1: of all the things he's brought me through, all the
- 2:24Speaker 1: challenges he's allowed me to overcome, all the times he's
- 2:28Speaker 1: forgiven me, all the times he's allowed me to get
- 2:31Speaker 1: it all wrong and turn around and get it right.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And I still got a lot of challenges in front
- 2:37Speaker 1: of me, still got a lot of changes. I probably
- 2:39Speaker 1: need to make some of My question to you is
- 2:42Speaker 1: what's stopping you from having the life that you want?
- 2:47Speaker 1: What's stopping you from having the life that you want?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't really know a person that doesn't want a
- 2:54Speaker 1: good life for themselves or for their families. Now, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: know a lot of people who have been beaten down
- 3:00Speaker 1: by the process, who because of some mistakes and some setbacks,
- 3:07Speaker 1: some mishaps, a set of circumstances. Uh, sometimes just life
- 3:14Speaker 1: just deals them a hand of cards and and they
- 3:18Speaker 1: just figure it's all defeat. I know a lot of
- 3:21Speaker 1: people who have given up on achieving the life of
- 3:26Speaker 1: their dreams, but I know they still want them if
- 3:30Speaker 1: they could get to them, But they just allowed to
- 3:33Speaker 1: settle for so many reasons. So who I'm talking to
- 3:38Speaker 1: is you today? What's really stopping you from having the
- 3:42Speaker 1: life that you want? What's really at the core of
- 3:46Speaker 1: stopping you? What is that? Is it your friends or
- 3:50Speaker 1: your associates. Is it the fear of what you think
- 3:53Speaker 1: somebody else will think of you if you decide to change.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Is it what I used to call the call of
- 3:59Speaker 1: the wow? Is it the fact that you keep thinking
- 4:04Speaker 1: that the thing that you're doing that's providing you these
- 4:07Speaker 1: momentary moments of pleasure that really ain't really good or
- 4:11Speaker 1: healthy for you. You don't want to stop doing that
- 4:14Speaker 1: because you've got just a little bit more something else
- 4:17Speaker 1: you want to do. I call that to call at
- 4:19Speaker 1: a while. You know, it's just out there the streets
- 4:21Speaker 1: is calling you. Them lights, is calling you, you know
- 4:24Speaker 1: them girls is calling you them Guys that's on the
- 4:27Speaker 1: wrong side, keep calling you. You can't seem to make
- 4:30Speaker 1: a decision by the right guy. You keep picking the
- 4:33Speaker 1: wrong guy all the time. What is it that's stopping
- 4:36Speaker 1: you from having the life that you really want to have?
- 4:40Speaker 1: So whatever the reason you're choosing, that's the reason that's
- 4:44Speaker 1: stopping you from having the life that you want to have.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's no good because at the end of the day,
- 4:50Speaker 1: here's the real deal. See, God is available, and God
- 4:54Speaker 1: is available for all of us, and God has a
- 4:57Speaker 1: plan for all of us, and God wants to very
- 5:00Speaker 1: best for all of us. That's the truth of the matter.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So now what we're gonna do to get started having
- 5:06Speaker 1: that life? First of all, if it's your friends, I
- 5:10Speaker 1: want you to understand something. Your friends can't save you.
- 5:13Speaker 1: A lot of your friends offer no real help for you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Most of your friends don't have the answer themselves. I mean,
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's just a wide range of reasons, and misery love company.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So usually when your friends are in a bad position,
- 5:28Speaker 1: they kind of like company in that bad position. Your
- 5:31Speaker 1: friends ain't going to church, You're gonna be their friend.
- 5:34Speaker 1: They don't really want you to go to church. You
- 5:37Speaker 1: know your friends don't pray, so why would they offer
- 5:40Speaker 1: up prayer as a solution to you. You know, your
- 5:45Speaker 1: friends don't really really get the fact that if you
- 5:49Speaker 1: treat people better, people would treat you better. So what's that?
- 5:54Speaker 1: So your friends are a lot of times the reasons,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you know, to peer pressure of what and then the
- 6:00Speaker 1: thought in your mind of what they're gonna think once
- 6:03Speaker 1: they find out I don't do what they do anymore.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Who cares what they think other than you? I mean, really,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you
- 6:14Speaker 1: from having the best life you wanted to have. If
- 6:17Speaker 1: I went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I
- 6:20Speaker 1: wouldn't even be on this mic this morning. I would
- 6:22Speaker 1: have never become a stand up I would have had
- 6:24Speaker 1: I listened to the people around me who clearly told
- 6:29Speaker 1: me when I quit my job to pursue this boy,
- 6:32Speaker 1: don't you quit your job. You got a family, boy,
- 6:35Speaker 1: don't you do this? You ain't got no bit dad,
- 6:37Speaker 1: ain't ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Go down here and with your brother, go to work
- 6:43Speaker 1: over here, go to I heard all of that. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: didn't let that stop me from pursuing this. Why would
- 6:49Speaker 1: you allow that to stop you from pursuing your relationship
- 6:52Speaker 1: with God so you can have the best life you
- 6:54Speaker 1: could possibly have. You gang bang because they've convinced you
- 6:59Speaker 1: that this is the family situation and love that you
- 7:02Speaker 1: don't have, and they've convinced you that this is your
- 7:05Speaker 1: only way, your only source of getting over And then
- 7:09Speaker 1: you drum up these ignorant reasons man for staying with it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But they sound so good when you're listening to everybody
- 7:18Speaker 1: else you're surrounded by, telling you why we gang banging,
- 7:21Speaker 1: Why we're holding this blockdown while we slang in this
- 7:25Speaker 1: thing here right here, Why we're letting it go like
- 7:27Speaker 1: this here. You keep listening to them when all in
- 7:31Speaker 1: your heart of hearts you know this ain't right, you
- 7:34Speaker 1: already know, but you allow that form of the call
- 7:38Speaker 1: of the wild, that wanting to be accepted by a
- 7:41Speaker 1: group of people who trying to get you to accept
- 7:44Speaker 1: the way so you can further their progress. To even
- 7:47Speaker 1: prove that you're worthy to be around them, you got
- 7:50Speaker 1: to commit some type of crime to even prove that
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're worthy to be around them. Then when you get
- 7:56Speaker 1: busted on the crime, what happens to that where your
- 7:59Speaker 1: family add Now they don't come down there to see
- 8:02Speaker 1: you because guess what, they can't turn in their idea
- 8:05Speaker 1: to death at a law enforcement center. So now your
- 8:08Speaker 1: homies can't come visit you. And then you know your
- 8:11Speaker 1: family back out here, they ain't taking care of your
- 8:13Speaker 1: family because it's all about them. And then you learn
- 8:16Speaker 1: that what is it to stopping you from having the
- 8:18Speaker 1: life that you always wanted to have? What is it?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Why are you a repeat offender? Why do you keep
- 8:27Speaker 1: checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man, why won't
- 8:32Speaker 1: you get it together? Why won't you give God a try?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would you continue to
- 8:39Speaker 1: be a part of a revolving door system and becoming
- 8:42Speaker 1: the farm system for these institutions that ain't got nothing
- 8:46Speaker 1: for you? But you keep going back in there, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: then every time you go in there, and then your
- 8:50Speaker 1: little homies or your gang banging little little silly little friends.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Try to make you think that's a badge of honor.
- 8:56Speaker 1: There's no badge of honor. Man, that's one mode. What's
- 8:59Speaker 1: one most ratch on that record? That's one more. That's
- 9:02Speaker 1: one more nail in that coffin. That's one step closer
- 9:06Speaker 1: to that third strike where you ain't gonna ever get out.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It's one step closer to that graveyard. You keep on.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Why would you not give God to try? Why would
- 9:16Speaker 1: you not go and see what your life could really be?
- 9:19Speaker 1: What is it that's stopping you? What is it? Because see,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I got news for you. There's nothing like waking up free.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. There's nothing like waking
- 9:31Speaker 1: up with the joy in your heart. Now, if you
- 9:33Speaker 1: ain't gonna be free, get the joy in your heart,
- 9:36Speaker 1: the satisfaction of knowing that you're accomplishing something with your life.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Help somebody behind them bars, get in the program. Show
- 9:43Speaker 1: these young cats when they come in a better way.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But don't you dare sit there man and just ride
- 9:49Speaker 1: it out, and man, just just go and get the
- 9:52Speaker 1: fullest life that you can have. What you know what
- 9:56Speaker 1: it feels like to wake up and be on your
- 9:58Speaker 1: way somewhere, knowing that you have something to accomplish, that
- 10:02Speaker 1: you can change somebody, that you can stop somebody from
- 10:04Speaker 1: going down the road you went down. It's a whole
- 10:07Speaker 1: lot of ways to make your life better. But why
- 10:09Speaker 1: would you not go and have the best life you
- 10:11Speaker 1: can have? What is it that's stopping you? What is
- 10:14Speaker 1: it really really? So you think that Satan really has
- 10:19Speaker 1: your best interests at heart? That della thing your mama
- 10:23Speaker 1: kept telling you about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But you know, it ain't ever too late to get
- 10:28Speaker 1: back to that, and ain't ever too late to get
- 10:30Speaker 1: back to where you're from. It ain't ever too late
- 10:33Speaker 1: go back home. It ain't ever too late to turn around.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to get your life together,
- 10:39Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to seek God, And it
- 10:42Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to pray. Don't forget to pray,
- 10:46Speaker 1: don't be ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud
- 10:49Speaker 1: to pray. Because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm a witness to that. You're listening to, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:02Speaker 1: boys and girls may have your undivided attention please. This

- 14:23Speaker 1: to Kim, but I didn't plan any much it All right, listen,
- 14:31Speaker 1: it's time for something funny. We're gonna ask Steve some
- 14:34Speaker 1: questions from a random list of questions. Ready, all right,

- 14:43Speaker 1: Steven show. It's time for something funny. Steve. You're ready.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It's time to ask you some questions. We just yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: we just have a random list of questions we want
- 14:53Speaker 1: to ask. Okay, here we go. Um, I'll start. What
- 14:56Speaker 1: what's something you that you warned people about? You know,
- 14:59Speaker 1: say a family member or a friend or something you
- 15:02Speaker 1: warned them about, but they didn't listen to you and
- 15:05Speaker 1: it turned into a problem. Later. I told all of
- 15:08Speaker 1: them I'm gonna be something one day and all I'm said.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Now you ain't. Now that I'm something has come true.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Let's remember all your statements or now you ain't. So
- 15:22Speaker 1: now when you're asking for money, remember no, I ain't.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Ask me for advice, remember this, No I ain't. You
- 15:31Speaker 1: need a place to stay, Remember this, now I ain't.
- 15:36Speaker 1: If you come to me talking about help with your
- 15:37Speaker 1: down payment of your new home, remember this, No I ain't.
- 15:42Speaker 1: See No, I ain't. That's what I remember. And it
- 15:44Speaker 1: has created a major problem in the family. Now he
- 15:48Speaker 1: think he too good for us. I told you all
- 15:50Speaker 1: are gonna be something one day. Now you ain't. Well,
- 15:53Speaker 1: now I'm something. Then call your ass on, come over.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You're asking me for nothing. Question out all right, hypothetical
- 16:02Speaker 1: question on you in the family to no, No, you ain't.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I'm the one that believed in you. Now okay, let's
- 16:09Speaker 1: call all right, let's hypothetical course. Here is, the studio
- 16:14Speaker 1: is on fire, all your co workers in there. You
- 16:20Speaker 1: can pull out one. Who do you get him? He
- 16:28Speaker 1: pull out first? Who would you pull out first? You
- 16:33Speaker 1: put half? Yeah, because we can start a new showing ship,
- 16:37Speaker 1: because we started this show together from scratch. Anyway, So
- 16:41Speaker 1: I go with my road to the one to go
- 16:42Speaker 1: in down right, there you go. I've been trying to
- 16:46Speaker 1: get video anyway, so you would go back home to
- 16:50Speaker 1: the funerals and they knew that you could have gotten me,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but got your share. Hey, Steve Harvan Morning Show? Or
- 16:57Speaker 1: do y'all won't try? That's the question I'm my ask.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Family likes me? Do y'all do y'all want to steal
- 17:07Speaker 1: off mort show? All the time? We get this show back?
- 17:12Speaker 1: I was I was wrong question. We were all wrong though,
- 17:17Speaker 1: thank you thought we were. Stand Go ahead, j okay,
- 17:25Speaker 1: just random questions. If aliens invaded and eliminated our office staff,
- 17:30Speaker 1: in order of least useful till most useful, who would
- 17:35Speaker 1: die first? And who would live the loan? All of
- 17:39Speaker 1: these questions are givest me and I see him, I
- 17:43Speaker 1: see him. Just ask one more time. Okay, if aliens
- 17:49Speaker 1: invaded and eliminated our office staff, now, in order of
- 17:52Speaker 1: least useful till most useful, who would die first? And
- 17:56Speaker 1: who would live the loan? That's okay? Now let me okay,
- 18:01Speaker 1: here we go. This is in honest order. Junior. You'll
- 18:07Speaker 1: be going first, and I'm gonna tell you why, because
- 18:13Speaker 1: you don't do pranks and you don't do church complaints.
- 18:18Speaker 1: What day it's got to do with this show. That's
- 18:21Speaker 1: what I'm doin about next I'll let him kill j
- 18:28Speaker 1: and I think that's I think that's we gotta give
- 18:30Speaker 1: it to sick people. Day the woman was a struggling
- 18:35Speaker 1: and more were coming to work, so you know, miss
- 18:38Speaker 1: more days on the diabetes up, so let them go
- 18:41Speaker 1: first and die. Then after that, well, Tommy, the girls
- 18:47Speaker 1: is before me because we got enough recording pranks, let's
- 18:53Speaker 1: go because people had a favorite, they like hearing them.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Then after that it's caller and that's only becalled and
- 19:04Speaker 1: call her. She she knows what she's doing, so we
- 19:07Speaker 1: could have a show. Left me Sherley, and then once
- 19:10Speaker 1: call it, get the show organized for us, put us
- 19:13Speaker 1: all in place with our heart and get everything done.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And then an't come kill call but the gold show
- 19:23Speaker 1: your skills. Then as long as they don't need nobody
- 19:27Speaker 1: else's be me and Sherley. Then they come to get
- 19:29Speaker 1: one more, we call shelling you out. Already got your
- 19:38Speaker 1: voice enough time I can pull you and d it
- 19:40Speaker 1: you down. And then that's it's Steve. Next question, All right,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I got a question finish the blank. I don't know
- 19:50Speaker 1: a single successful person who Blake. I don't know a
- 19:56Speaker 1: single successful who does not have a vision board. Like it,
- 20:06Speaker 1: don't single successful person who doesn't have a vision board.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I know none. Wow, Tyler over the presiday, Everybody I
- 20:19Speaker 1: talked to, Oh yeah, Michelle Baum, all of them. I've
- 20:23Speaker 1: talked to everybody I ever talked to, Q Snoop, Charlie Wilson, everybody,
- 20:32Speaker 1: every camp, Everybody I talked to and that's successful has
- 20:36Speaker 1: a vision Ellen. Everybody I talked to, Trump, Trump, I've
- 20:40Speaker 1: never don't look at look at all them hotels here.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, it's very difficult without the next question.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Al Right, here's next question. It's on me. Uh, what
- 20:50Speaker 1: is the nearest thing you've got to a superpower? My
- 20:55Speaker 1: ability to reason? I agree with that my reason ability.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Second is my ability to compartmentalize things that happened to me,
- 21:07Speaker 1: put him in a section and keep moving. That's what
- 21:09Speaker 1: the millennials. That's a superpower that I have that a
- 21:13Speaker 1: lot of people don't have. And I find it out
- 21:15Speaker 1: more and more. Wow, So Steve, did you like these questions? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and I have you can have great answers. Burn up
- 21:26Speaker 1: and gave me to the aliens. I didn't like one
- 21:30Speaker 1: more time. If your co workers were in a fire,
- 21:32Speaker 1: who would you pull out? I gave him a second chance. Alright, alright, listen,

- 25:30Speaker 1: it could get pretty bad. You know what I'm saying. Well,
- 25:36Speaker 1: and I'm sorry to hear that, bro Um. You know,
- 25:39Speaker 1: all I can do is you man. And you know, well, man,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I the doctor told me. The doctor told me Man,

- 25:58Speaker 1: you know, I could get back up just secent healthy again,
- 26:02Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So, h you know, it's

- 26:13Speaker 1: I think you can't help me. Well strong man, be strong,
- 26:16Speaker 1: just man. See down. It's gonna be all right. But

- 27:16Speaker 1: or her breast now, I could kind of. I just

- 27:58Speaker 1: would have been breasting too bad? Just look at it
- 28:01Speaker 1: as if we twin What the man? I'm getting them
- 28:04Speaker 1: this phone because I don't know who you are. You
- 28:07Speaker 1: need to chill, man, you need to go get on
- 28:09Speaker 1: your knees, train that your bones get healed or whatever.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You got the wrong number, man, Listen, Man, all I'm
- 28:16Speaker 1: saying is I got one more thing I want to
- 28:18Speaker 1: say and then, Man, I just want to get off
- 28:21Speaker 1: the phone called Kendra and find out what gives you
- 28:25Speaker 1: my number? Because that's how you got Can I say
- 28:27Speaker 1: one more saying? Man? Go ahead, go ahead? Can I
- 28:29Speaker 1: say it? Man? This is nephew taught me from the
- 28:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kendra and your wife Maryland got

- 28:57Speaker 1: y'all having me? I got them too. They don't started something? Hey,
- 29:04Speaker 1: one more day. What's the baddest radio station in the land? Man? Man?
- 29:08Speaker 1: It is the ste Harvey Morning Show. Man. Wow. Man,
- 29:15Speaker 1: you know you gotta get breast milk any way you
- 29:16Speaker 1: can get. You know what I'm saying. Milk is good
- 29:19Speaker 1: for the bone, right, you know what I'm saying. And
- 29:23Speaker 1: you need that. So what do you need it for?
- 29:26Speaker 1: How much you want? Yeah? I want a couple of
- 29:29Speaker 1: gallons of breast milk. What's wrong with it? That's what's
- 29:33Speaker 1: wrong with you know, if you can provide, you should
- 29:35Speaker 1: not really hold back on helping people with some breast milk.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Wow, Okay, nothing I didn't ask
- 29:45Speaker 1: you for then, did I? Okay? Uh, we got to
- 29:52Speaker 1: talk about this. Thank you, nephew. We love Actress Jennifer
- 29:55Speaker 1: Lewis Steve. She plays Anthony Anderson's mother on Blackish. Well.
- 30:00Speaker 1: She has a mantra in the morning. It says every
- 30:03Speaker 1: morning she looks in the mirror and says, pretty B word,
- 30:07Speaker 1: pretty be word every morning. So so I gotta ask you, Steve,
- 30:12Speaker 1: what do you say when you look at yourself in
- 30:13Speaker 1: the mirror in the morning. That don't help everybody. It's
- 30:17Speaker 1: good for you to feel that way about yourself, but
- 30:19Speaker 1: everybody don't need to do that. Do you say anything
- 30:22Speaker 1: to yourself in the mirror? Oh? I got some big ahead,
- 30:26Speaker 1: what do you say? Well, Tommy, I got some big
- 30:30Speaker 1: gass lips to blow on this money up there coming
- 30:36Speaker 1: up Entertainment News, Sadwick Boseman out of a real life superhero. Uh,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and we'll talk about that when we come back. Right
- 30:45Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes, our friend ice Cube will
- 30:57Speaker 1: be our special guest. Ice Cube in the Bill Dink
- 31:00Speaker 1: Cube Cube was gonna tell us about the Big Three
- 31:03Speaker 1: basketball tournament that kicks off this weekend in Houston, Texas.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Guys and uh. In Entertainment News, Tiffany Hattish proved that
- 31:11Speaker 1: she was definitely ready to host the two thousand eighteen
- 31:14Speaker 1: MTV Movie and TV Awards. She did her thing. She
- 31:17Speaker 1: opened the show with a black panther type fight scene
- 31:20Speaker 1: to see who would actually host the show. Other highlights
- 31:24Speaker 1: from the show include Chadwick Boseman um one for Best Hero,
- 31:28Speaker 1: which was great, but he gave his award and this
- 31:30Speaker 1: was even better. I love this. This was a touching moment.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I saw the show. It was great. Uh. He he
- 31:35Speaker 1: gave his award to a real life hero, James Shaw Jr.
- 31:39Speaker 1: The waffle house hero from Tennessee. Take a listen, Yeah
- 31:42Speaker 1: remember him? Yeah, receiving an award for playing a superhero.
- 31:47Speaker 1: He's amazing. But it's even greater to acknowledge the heroes
- 31:52Speaker 1: that we have in real life. So I just want
- 31:58Speaker 1: to acknowledge somebody this here today, James Shaw Jr. Where
- 32:03Speaker 1: are you staying? You didn't even know we were about
- 32:12Speaker 1: to do this, did you? Uh? If you don't know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: James Shaw Jill he fought off a gunman in Antioch, Tennessee,
- 32:21Speaker 1: at a waffle house. He saved lives. Come on up here,
- 32:30Speaker 1: so this is gonna live at your house? Yeah that's yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 1: He's such a great guy. Chadwick also actor Michael B.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Jordan's took trophy for Best Villain. Remember he played Kill
- 32:43Speaker 1: Lounger and Black Panther and so congratulation. Well you know
- 32:49Speaker 1: what he did say? He said he thought Roseanne will win. Yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 1: he did. He did say that. He said that. Um,
- 32:57Speaker 1: so congratulations to both of them and everyone else. And
- 33:00Speaker 1: Tiffany had as she was really great as her last night.
- 33:05Speaker 1: He has a ride. Yeah, are you ready? Pushing gears?
- 33:11Speaker 1: In sports and news, many people are still convinced that
- 33:14Speaker 1: Lebron James will be a Los Angeles Laker next step,
- 33:21Speaker 1: It's not gonna happen. See, let me, let me, let
- 33:23Speaker 1: me help you as great a dude as Magic Johnson.
- 33:27Speaker 1: This is what I think is happening here. Here's my
- 33:29Speaker 1: opinion of whole Lebron Jakes. See, Lebron will be a
- 33:32Speaker 1: free agent. George is a free agent. Kauai is not
- 33:38Speaker 1: a free agent. He just won't out. So if they
- 33:42Speaker 1: trade him, they gotta get maximum for it. So Kauai
- 33:46Speaker 1: come into the Lakers and everybody talking about Lebron, Kauai
- 33:51Speaker 1: and George could team up, But you gotta get that
- 33:56Speaker 1: money because if you get Kauai, l A don't have
- 34:00Speaker 1: enough pieces to give for Kauai. They got nobody over
- 34:05Speaker 1: there to make them think they're gonna give up Kauai
- 34:07Speaker 1: for the Lakers team. And how much money the Lakers
- 34:11Speaker 1: got these two free agents. You gotta still make cap rule.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Somebody got to go. And if too many players go
- 34:19Speaker 1: on the Lakers team, le Bron will be right where
- 34:22Speaker 1: he got with, just like he got Kevin Love. He
- 34:25Speaker 1: had just had Paul George. They ain't enough to get
- 34:28Speaker 1: Golden State. He's going to the Lebron James is gonna
- 34:32Speaker 1: go to the Houston Rocket. Steven. They have a movie
- 34:38Speaker 1: company here in Los Angeles. You know, still he got
- 34:40Speaker 1: it in here in Cleveland. He ain't gonna He ain't
- 34:43Speaker 1: got time to sit there. He got people on that right. Well, Mr,
- 34:48Speaker 1: everybody got time for this. MS and is here. Steve,
- 34:52Speaker 1: please introduce her with our ladies and gentlemen, Miss and Trip.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Thanks guys, thanks you, good morning. This is andwer for
- 34:59Speaker 1: the new Some seventy five former U S attorneys are
- 35:02Speaker 1: formally calling on the current U S Attorney Jeff Sessions,
- 35:04Speaker 1: to end the Trump administration's policy of separating the children
- 35:08Speaker 1: of illegal immigrants from their parents. In an open letter
- 35:11Speaker 1: of bipartisan group of former U S attorneys called Trump zero,
- 35:14Speaker 1: Thomson's policy quoted radical departure from previous policy, and they
- 35:18Speaker 1: say the policy is dangerous, expensive, and inconsistent. With the
- 35:22Speaker 1: Department's values. The letters as previous administrations struck a balance
- 35:25Speaker 1: between the need for effective enforcement with humanity and compassion,
- 35:30Speaker 1: but they say the trum administration has abandoned that. By
- 35:32Speaker 1: the way, the Trump has also been quoted as calling
- 35:35Speaker 1: illegal immigrants well, saying that they infest America. Infest. The
- 35:39Speaker 1: president also continues to blame lawmakers for the situation, especially Democrats.
- 35:43Speaker 1: According to Trump, that's why children are being separated from
- 35:45Speaker 1: their parents as a result of Democrats supported loopholes in
- 35:50Speaker 1: our federal laws. Most illegal immigrant families and miners from
- 35:55Speaker 1: Central America who arrive unlawfully at the border cannot be
- 36:00Speaker 1: detained together or removed together, only released well. Trump says
- 36:05Speaker 1: legisladies need to give him the power to remove whole
- 36:07Speaker 1: families who entered the US illegally. Republican lawmakers promising to
- 36:11Speaker 1: pass one of two measures that would end the child
- 36:13Speaker 1: separations build a border wall, and the President is reportedly
- 36:17Speaker 1: in favor of that. Milwaukee Bucks stars Sterling Brown has
- 36:20Speaker 1: followed the federal lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee It's
- 36:22Speaker 1: police chief in eight of its cops. Back in January,
- 36:25Speaker 1: the NBA rookie was simply being cited for parking in
- 36:28Speaker 1: a handicapped space when a white cop used a stun
- 36:31Speaker 1: gun on him because he didn't think Brown was pulling
- 36:33Speaker 1: his hands out of his pockets fast enough. Sterling Brown's
- 36:36Speaker 1: attorney says the whole stories on surveillance tape twelve minutes
- 36:39Speaker 1: he was left sitting or laying on the ground after
- 36:43Speaker 1: being abused. This kind of conduct must The police chief
- 36:47Speaker 1: of Milwaukee has apologized and says that three of his
- 36:50Speaker 1: officers have been disciplined over their behavior. We don't know
- 36:53Speaker 1: what kind of discipline that was, and Milwaukee's mayor says
- 36:56Speaker 1: he hopes the suit will mark a turning point for
- 36:59Speaker 1: his city. Slavery in this country, you know, it was
- 37:01Speaker 1: declared over in the eighteen hundreds, but South Carolina is
- 37:03Speaker 1: legislatives only. Yesterday declared it over in an abomination, promising
- 37:08Speaker 1: tolerance in the future and proposing to set up an
- 37:10Speaker 1: office of racial reconciliation. Yesterday, of course, with June tenth,
- 37:14Speaker 1: that was a commemoration of the day when all enslaved
- 37:16Speaker 1: Africans learned that it was over. And yesterday was also
- 37:20Speaker 1: just a couple of days after the anniversary of the
- 37:22Speaker 1: racist murder of nine black congregants in the church by
- 37:25Speaker 1: white man named Dylan Roof. Even so, two city councilmen
- 37:29Speaker 1: in South Carolina opposed that the resolution. You know all,
- 37:32Speaker 1: only over half of the captured Africans brought to the
- 37:34Speaker 1: Western Hemisphere abroad through Charleston, South Carolina was a slave port.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Today's National CUCO Warning Day. And yes, there are a
- 37:42Speaker 1: lot of cuckoo's out there, aren't there? Back with more
- 37:44Speaker 1: entertainment Today's trending topics. Twenty minutes after the hour of
- 37:47Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Harvey Show,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and y'all like as promise our special guests this morning
- 37:56Speaker 1: is here. He's one of the pioneers out here West
- 37:59Speaker 1: Coast rap outstanding active movie producer. He has totally flipped
- 38:05Speaker 1: the script with his career maintained at all, but just
- 38:09Speaker 1: kept flipping it and reinventing himself. This boy as outstanding.
- 38:12Speaker 1: And now he's the Big Three basketball co founder and
- 38:16Speaker 1: co CEO. This is the two thousand eighteen season. The
- 38:20Speaker 1: Big Three is tipping off this weekend. Me and the

- 39:11Speaker 1: turned Friday into something that's for damn show. Hey, hey man,
- 39:16Speaker 1: let's talk about it. The Big Threes two thousand and
- 39:18Speaker 1: eight team season. The tips off this Friday in Houston
- 39:22Speaker 1: and it's live on Fox Sports uh, Fox Sports one
- 39:26Speaker 1: at three thirty pm Eastern and Pacific time. Tell us
- 39:29Speaker 1: a little bit about it, man, oh man. You know
- 39:32Speaker 1: it's just you know, just a blessing to make it
- 39:34Speaker 1: the season two. You know, most leagues, you know, physical
- 39:38Speaker 1: out before they get the season two. You know that
- 39:40Speaker 1: happened with the Excess fail you know, only made the
- 39:43Speaker 1: league that's lasted with UFC. So to be just going
- 39:47Speaker 1: into season two is a big accomplishment. You know, we
- 39:51Speaker 1: got better players. We got people like Mary Stottomeyne Robertson,
- 39:55Speaker 1: Bearing David's Metal World Peace. Uh. You know, so we
- 40:01Speaker 1: we feel like we've got quality players and and and
- 40:03Speaker 1: the games are gonna be actually better than they were
- 40:07Speaker 1: last year. And the fact that we're live, you know,
- 40:11Speaker 1: it's like we're real sports now. It ain't no excuses now.
- 40:14Speaker 1: We were here to stay. So it's a great thing.
- 40:17Speaker 1: It's it's such a good game to watch. Man. If
- 40:20Speaker 1: y'all haven't watched it, y'all should watch it because these
- 40:23Speaker 1: are some marquee catch balling Stephen Jackson, this boy right here, yeah,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I tune. It is just to watch him. And it's
- 40:32Speaker 1: another baller. Man to do? Is it? What's his name? Cube?
- 40:34Speaker 1: I do? My lord? I do right? Man? Just do
- 40:39Speaker 1: it right here? Can shoot? He'd be lightening them up.
- 40:43Speaker 1: It's a great game, man. You know, we grew up
- 40:45Speaker 1: on three on three, so we don't sing all the
- 40:48Speaker 1: battles on the playground. But when you see seven footers
- 40:51Speaker 1: doing it, it's a whole another ball game. Man. It's
- 40:54Speaker 1: just awesome to see. We can catch it live in person.
- 40:58Speaker 1: You gotta do it. But well, on that. That's one,
- 41:01Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Friday nights ain't gonna be
- 41:03Speaker 1: nothing better than to do on Friday nights as far
- 41:05Speaker 1: as sitting in front of TV, but to watch the
- 41:07Speaker 1: fix It all right, coming up after the break at
- 41:10Speaker 1: thirty four, after the hour, we'll have more with Cube.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Hey, y'all, we're back. We got
- 41:19Speaker 1: more with ice Cube. We're talking about the Big Three
- 41:22Speaker 1: Basketball League, which is absolutely phenomenal. First of all basketball season,
- 41:27Speaker 1: no win Stanley Cup being played, hockey over with preseason,
- 41:31Speaker 1: ain't even hill for football. We got nothing baseball. I'm
- 41:36Speaker 1: gonna just be real with you. A little bit too
- 41:38Speaker 1: slow from me till October. Get hill. Yeah, I can
- 41:41Speaker 1: watch nobody throw eighteen balls. I'm not gonna do that.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I just ain't. I ain't got it in there. This
- 41:48Speaker 1: right here is actually great competitive sport. This, along with
- 41:51Speaker 1: the w n b A is the thing to watch
- 41:53Speaker 1: on TV right now, no doubt, you know. And it's
- 41:56Speaker 1: it's just great to fill that boy, because I used
- 41:59Speaker 1: to be like you man. After the finals is over,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I damn their hybrid. They till football season come on,
- 42:06Speaker 1: you know. So I ain't got the hybernate no more.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I can actually watch great basketball in the swimmer and
- 42:13Speaker 1: when our when our championship is done, the next week,
- 42:16Speaker 1: the NFL first week is up, so we've got the
- 42:19Speaker 1: perfect slot. Thank you. And man, let me answer this question.
- 42:23Speaker 1: How how is the Big Three attracting these markete name players. Well,
- 42:28Speaker 1: they want to ball and they want a ball on
- 42:30Speaker 1: the right stage. You know, three on three basketball, like
- 42:33Speaker 1: I said, been in our community forever. It's all what
- 42:36Speaker 1: the kids play, but it's never been elevated to the
- 42:39Speaker 1: pro level. So that's my job is to elevate it
- 42:43Speaker 1: to the professional level. And these guys want to play,
- 42:46Speaker 1: and they want to play against a peers. To me,
- 42:50Speaker 1: there's nothing but a than traction. If you're a real baller,
- 42:53Speaker 1: now consider the Big Three, because you are. You know
- 42:55Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Come on and continue to play and
- 42:58Speaker 1: check this out speed. A couple of dudes made it
- 43:01Speaker 1: back into the NBA just by playing in the victory.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Really yeah, because they were able to get GMS to
- 43:08Speaker 1: check them out. You know, they actually made it back
- 43:10Speaker 1: on the roster. So that to me is exciting too
- 43:14Speaker 1: because it's showing that they just got a retired league
- 43:17Speaker 1: or a league where guys can't play. We gotta league
- 43:20Speaker 1: that's an option, and guys actually to make it back
- 43:23Speaker 1: into the NBA estate. They show their skills. Wow. I mean, man,
- 43:28Speaker 1: it's it's really really a good, a good basketball league, y'all.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Because I'm watching dudes, man, and I'm gonna be honest
- 43:34Speaker 1: with you. I see some dudes that I didn't know
- 43:37Speaker 1: was I could leave that still should be in the lead. No, seriously,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I just was unaware that they was out. I thought
- 43:44Speaker 1: they were still playing somewhere, like I've important. You know what,
- 43:47Speaker 1: you can get lost. You can go Poland and don't
- 43:52Speaker 1: nobody know you own you be in Charlotte and somebody
- 43:55Speaker 1: might not. Yeah, yeah, you don't saying you can be
- 44:02Speaker 1: a pro basketball player. Don't nobody know it. So that's
- 44:07Speaker 1: what I thought. But man, the league is so good, y'all.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna encourage everybody to watch this, man, because these
- 44:12Speaker 1: dudes be on hit ball. Here's the cold thing. They
- 44:15Speaker 1: got the regular three point line, just like in the league,
- 44:18Speaker 1: but they got a four point shot too. That's like,
- 44:21Speaker 1: you know what what they called Steph Carey Town. You
- 44:25Speaker 1: got you gotta be, but you gotta have you you
- 44:27Speaker 1: gotta have your draws on just right to take that joke. Yeah,
- 44:31Speaker 1: that's that's it's a circle, four point circle on the
- 44:34Speaker 1: dirty feet from the basket. So you know you gotta
- 44:37Speaker 1: you gotta definitely put some back on into it. Yeah
- 44:41Speaker 1: you ain't. Yeah, you ain't just out there and that
- 44:43Speaker 1: you'll pull your nerve, you know, you tass something up,
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yeah you will. You definitely rip something up the socket. Yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 1: if you know, if you don't want them up before
- 45:00Speaker 1: you shoot that one. Yeah. Hey man, this is this
- 45:02Speaker 1: is a great league, y'all, And listen to me. That
- 45:04Speaker 1: why I want y'all do everybody. Big Three's two thousand
- 45:07Speaker 1: and eight teen season and tips off in Houston this Friday,
- 45:11Speaker 1: June twenty. SWOD is live at Fox Sports one at
- 45:14Speaker 1: three thirty Eastern and Pacific. A lot of New Markey
- 45:18Speaker 1: players in that this year. Man Mark Stardom is in
- 45:21Speaker 1: the game, Carlos Boozer, Barret Davis, Metal World Peace, Nate Robinson,
- 45:26Speaker 1: the Slam Dunk Contest, Dude, You're goodness, a whole lot
- 45:29Speaker 1: more and plus the stars that's already out there. It's
- 45:32Speaker 1: just worth it, man, Q mad great idea. Man, We're
- 45:35Speaker 1: gonna be tuning in for you. Thank you so much, Steve.
- 45:37Speaker 1: You know you always give me a platform. Uh my stuff. Man,
- 45:42Speaker 1: And I really appreciate bro because you are You're a
- 45:45Speaker 1: cold hustle, no dog, you're a cold hustler. I admire
- 45:49Speaker 1: your hustling grind man. Why yours to man? Because I
- 45:53Speaker 1: see you everywhere doing everything and it's always done with classmen.
- 45:57Speaker 1: We appreciate you man, alright, Q we know you boy,
- 46:00Speaker 1: appreciate you, man, appreciate you. Thank you all right. Up next,
- 46:03Speaker 1: the nephew has a praying phone call coming up right
- 46:06Speaker 1: after this Love us. You're listening to Steve show. Coming
- 46:13Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 46:15Speaker 1: minutes after. It's today's Strawberry letter. The subject we both
- 46:19Speaker 1: did it. But now she's mad. Okay, I've been there.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Be phone right now, the nephew is here with today's
- 46:27Speaker 1: praying phone call. Why is it in all and lettuce?
- 46:33Speaker 1: That's full of BS. You've participated in some ways. I've
- 46:38Speaker 1: been in some BS situations on stage. You ain't up
- 46:42Speaker 1: been in a BS sits. You just don't expound on
- 46:45Speaker 1: it and talk about it. But I know you've been
- 46:47Speaker 1: there because I've been through it with you. So what
- 46:49Speaker 1: are we talking about it? You want us talk about something?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Since man, you just know what you want to do today. Okay, Wow,
- 46:58Speaker 1: we have our own strawberry letter. Be very careful. Okay, Okay,

- 50:54Speaker 1: do is we have to come out there and take
- 50:56Speaker 1: a picture. So I don't wanna, you know, create a problem,
- 51:00Speaker 1: but I have to get a picture of you by
- 51:02Speaker 1: next week. Oh it's gonna be a problem because you're
- 51:05Speaker 1: not getting up picture of me for no funeral arrangement,

- 52:03Speaker 1: here for that program. And when I'm growing, I care
- 52:06Speaker 1: about what a picture looked like. Or who hasn't my
- 52:08Speaker 1: guy funeral? That's a nickna. You tell whoever you work

- 55:52Speaker 1: one today, Steve. Right, Yeah, buggle up, hold on tight,
- 55:59Speaker 1: we gotta pull you. Here is the strong subject, we
- 56:02Speaker 1: both did it, but now she's mad. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:06Speaker 1: I need the code Cracker. I am a thirty one
- 56:09Speaker 1: year old man who's been dating this girl for over
- 56:12Speaker 1: a year now, and everything is going great. We have
- 56:15Speaker 1: the same sense of humor, so we're always laughing. And
- 56:18Speaker 1: the sex is so good that Tommy could beat Junior
- 56:21Speaker 1: in a race for it. You want me to read
- 56:26Speaker 1: that line against We have the same sense of humor
- 56:31Speaker 1: so everything so we are always laughing at the and
- 56:34Speaker 1: the sex is so good that Tommy could beat Junior
- 56:37Speaker 1: in a race for it. But just recently we've been
- 56:43Speaker 1: arguing over something so stupid. We were watching a movie
- 56:47Speaker 1: the other night and Michael Eally popped up on the
- 56:49Speaker 1: TV and my girl shouted out, Michael Eally could get it.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I'd have all his babies. Wow. We both laughed about
- 56:58Speaker 1: it and kept watching the movie. So two days ago,
- 57:01Speaker 1: we're watching something else and Felicia Rashawn popped up on
- 57:05Speaker 1: the screen and I said I would drink Claire Huxtable's bathwater.
- 57:10Speaker 1: My girl gut so mad. We got into a full
- 57:15Speaker 1: blown argument and she said that I need to apologize. Well,
- 57:21Speaker 1: it's been three weeks and I feel that this is
- 57:23Speaker 1: just stupid. She still won't talk to me, and I
- 57:27Speaker 1: feel like I've lost my best friend. I feel like
- 57:29Speaker 1: I shouldn't apologize because we both did it. What should
- 57:32Speaker 1: I do? Well, well, well, welcome to the you can't
- 57:37Speaker 1: do what I do, or, as it is commonly known,
- 57:41Speaker 1: double standard. Okay, that's what's happening here. Uh it's okay
- 57:46Speaker 1: for her to do it, and come on, it's Michael
- 57:48Speaker 1: Eally after all, but you better not say anything about
- 57:52Speaker 1: another woman in front of her face. You just can't
- 57:54Speaker 1: do that. Listen. You can end this though with two words,
- 57:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I apolog gizz. You can do that those
- 58:01Speaker 1: two words, either of them. Please don't let this go
- 58:04Speaker 1: any farther. Three weeks is a long time to go
- 58:08Speaker 1: without speaking to your girl. Okay, this has gone far enough.
- 58:12Speaker 1: If you guys don't get back together, I just hope
- 58:14Speaker 1: you've learned a valuable lesson here, and that lesson is
- 58:18Speaker 1: she can do it again. It was Michael Eally after all.
- 58:21Speaker 1: You know I'm talking blue eyes. Okay, I'm just saying
- 58:24Speaker 1: it's Michael, but you you can't do that. You just
- 58:29Speaker 1: can't do it in in in the same space with
- 58:31Speaker 1: another woman. She's not going to accept it. I think
- 58:34Speaker 1: three weeks is is taking it a bit far. I
- 58:36Speaker 1: wonder what she's been doing in those three weeks. But
- 58:39Speaker 1: I mean, you know you're standing your ground. I got
- 58:42Speaker 1: all of that, But a simple apology can make this
- 58:45Speaker 1: all go away, Steve, What doesn't matter who's right all
- 58:54Speaker 1: wrong when love is gone. This right here is exactly
- 59:00Speaker 1: what he said it is. This is stupid, Shirley is correct.
- 59:06Speaker 1: It's just simple. All you got to do, Dog is
- 59:09Speaker 1: say I'm sorry, I won't do it again. And then
- 59:12Speaker 1: after she accepts your apology, and you should say, I
- 59:15Speaker 1: think we should both come to an agreement that we
- 59:18Speaker 1: won't say things that might be hurtful in front of
- 59:21Speaker 1: one another concerning what we may feel about somebody in
- 59:24Speaker 1: the opposite sex, whether we're kidding or not. Let's just
- 59:27Speaker 1: not play with play like that anymore, because obviously we
- 59:30Speaker 1: can't play together like this. That's all to it. It's
- 59:34Speaker 1: as simple as there's nothing else to this letter. We
- 59:36Speaker 1: don't need no part to things. And I don't give
- 59:39Speaker 1: a damn if it's Michael Eally Denzay and it's just Elba.
- 59:43Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if it's not of the
- 59:45Speaker 1: black sex and Murray Hardwick. I don't care who it is.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Ice Cube, Okay, that's not what that's gonna do, to
- 59:55Speaker 1: know and I'm clear about that. I've never been a
- 59:58Speaker 1: sex So you are at the bank stop, but that's
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: cool down, y'all. Ain't done there. I get treated with
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the utmost respect when I do walk in there, which
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: is run. I'll get people moving around, but there ain't
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: nothing sexy about me. I understand that. I wish it won't.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: What's making about you? I wish I could walk in
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: the room morey send people. Here comes Steve. Girl. Girl,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: oh girl, he could get this. I've never had that
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: phone ever. Uh not really not really not not like overall.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I can convince one person to do that for me
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: at a time. But I ain't never walked in the room.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: And that's been it has been said. It's been some
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: hurtful times, and I wanted that to happen, and it
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: just didn't. I've imagined it happen that dreams who I
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: walked in the room, and it's been all about me. No,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: here comes Steve. Yeah, but then there's always been some
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: damn girl bought me right on back down to reality
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: in that bill. So I asked him to go to
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the Junior Prominent Health. He told me she said no,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: And I said why. She said because I don't like
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: your facial features. That keeps say that to a length grade.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I got a lot of years, little deep. I don't
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: know why I got little deep. I don't like your
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: facial I said the problem. You know, I ain't got
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: money for plastic cedric. I didn't know what it was
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: back there, But damn, you don't like none of them
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I got them. I can't get nothing. I got nice teeth,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I can't get nothing. Hell. I ain't got no stomach.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I ain't got no way. But I don't like your
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: facial You had that big work and did you Yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: but you know it wasn't quite yeah. Tall, always have
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: been tall, none of that. I ain't never been the
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: shorte dude. This is nothing. You know. He never had
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: no cuss on my face. You know she wasn't feeling.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I ain't like your face and what he is. I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: posed that's what I need. Ain't like. I could have
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: went and came back to Marrow and gave another shot
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: at your face? Is your face? She was really cute. O,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Lord jeesus, I thought this girl was the world. I
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: saw years later when I was performing in Cleveland. Huh,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and she was still fine. Came backstage, asked me out,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: asked me, I know who she was. I remember before
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: standing there. I gonna go to dinner, I said, I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: ain't hung. Let's going to have drink. I don't drink.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Let's go and have coffee. I'm gonna go to bed.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I don't stay home. You threw every rock you could
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: throw forth my boys, Sit down, man, you ain't going
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: out with that fun. That's chick right there. What's wrong
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: with you? I said? She don't like you think I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: don't forgot it cause I'm forty, you know, alright? Alright,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the subject of today's letter is uh, I don't like
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: your face. We'll be back with more than the Steve
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Harvey Morning right after this. We're coming back at after
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you're listening to Steven show. All right, Steve, are you
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: okay to get back into part two? You know we
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: got to go into this show, Today's Strawberry Letter when
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you old man, you know all this here? Chick right
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: here jumped up. Saw Michael Eli who he can get it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: He can hear all my baby. So he see Felicia's
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: shot on TV. He said, I drink Claire hucksable bad wa.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: The girl got mad, got into a full blown argument.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: She said that I need to apologize. There's been three
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: weeks and I feel this is just stupid. She still
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: won't talk to me, and I feel like I've lost
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: my best friend. I feel like I shouldn't apologize because
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: we both did it. What should I do? Hell? Apologize? Yeah,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: but it's over and then after you she accept your
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: apologists say, but I need for us to do this
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: next time, Michael Eely come on stage. You can't say
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: that because I thought it was all right, say it
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to yourself. If you're gonna say it, yeah, just say
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: it to yourself. What happen, Claire? What happened? He'd better
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: say it to himself, for it'll be another three weeks
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: that she won't speak to him. Yeah, but if this
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: was sister, she's gonna say something of your time. She
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: see police with Schell, that should go the same. Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: that go your baby? You can't drink come back steever.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: You all right before we went to break you know,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: you were telling the story that happened to you. Just
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: let it kind of yeah, over with What would you
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: don't say to me to what? How do you feel
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: about your face? Your feature? I'm perfectly fine with him now,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: but there was a time when you struggled. What are
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you saying? I still got to struggle with him now,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you know, I know I ain't cut, but I mean
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: after she told you that, was you looking in the mirror.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Everything at your features had a cup of things. You know,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: maybe if I pull my lips in a little bit
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: when I'm talking something like this, maybe, But what I
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: didn't know, no angle I could turn it reduced, just no.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: So I was just struggling with it. It's just ninth grade.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: You don't know what to do by the plastic surity
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: wasn't out the end that I knew about. I mean, well,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: when I was a little, everybody and you do it now, see,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: but everybody talks about my eyes. Everybody see, I was
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: on your side, and you probably have grown into a
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: more I have grown into my eyes. They was bigger
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: than that. When I was little, they were huge because
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: you're maller, but have been the same size. So you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: came out the wound like that came out as I've
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: always had. You probably saw yourself being born. Huh. Everyone
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: always except Carla, all right, you put yourself in this girl, Hey, no, no, no,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: But my point is that. Everyone struggles, you know, with
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: some part of the struggle a lot. I mean, looking Tommy,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: he's a handsome problem. He shot. I'm not We're not
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: gonna do this today. No, I'm not gonna be ugly
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: to that. I Am not going to be ugly for
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: you all today. I'm okay, Well, we'll be here tomorrow.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: What did you struggle with every time? My mama? Will
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the pressing points? Like your daddy? I got that every week?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: One more thing I want. It didn't look like you
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: have to have daddy with your Yeah. I couldn't stand
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: my dadd and you get me in trouble. I didn't
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: even do nothing. I don't know what you did last night,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: But why I got to be ugly? Witch? Come on?
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Everybody said something, but did we struggle with? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: what did we struggle with? What did you struggle with?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Everybody said, what there was? You know, I struggle. I
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: had one of the most severe case of chicken pot
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: so you know I had some scarring from that. So
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I struggle struggle with that? What just that makeup? See that? Yeah?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: But I did. I mean I went through some heavy
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: teasing about Yeah, it's been a long time ago because
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I ain't seen no spots. They're there. But yes, a
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: dark see here we call her. It's a whole another thing. Spot.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: It's the same color you put it, we wear when
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: it used to be down. Well, we all have issues.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: As the point, we all have issues. Yeah, Tommy ain't
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: said nothing. Tis you come on? You ever said any well?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You know where it's funny. I got teased for big
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: lips back there, so I guess I grew into it
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: and lips is the thing. Yeah, I would never think that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I would never think it. That's all your turtle looking
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: at with just your lips. That a hump on your back,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: that's a shell, that's that's stomach. Man, it's your damn face,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: all your belt buckle turned down. You know I'm not
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: gonna share ugly with you, and by yourself, I'm not attractive.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I keep telling you you're not attractive. I know that.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: But see I've come to it. The problem you're having
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: in your life and why you can't move forward is
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you keep thinking luckily holding me back. Yeah, it's holding
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: me pad. That's why you don't get a lot of punt.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: But you got but you got lead man. Confidence? Wait
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: what he got lead? Man confidence people every chance he
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: gets facial features and be ugly with him. I'm not
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: gonna be. I'm not telling me you're not really attractive, man, Okay, Yeah,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: just going to turn sideways and look how the corner
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: you call all I have to reside on these other
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: women on the show, ugly or not, you're not ugly.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I don't think anyone on the show exactly is ugly. No,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I don't think he seems that. I never who's more attractive,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: me or Steve without money. I've never known Steve without money,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: so it's definitely Steve. It's just Steve. I knew him
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: before you. It's not about before. So Shirley likes me,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and I know Carling like me because she can call
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: joey and stupid and you just a little stupid, ugly,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: more stupid, and we're going to break. We're going to
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: break stupid and that's all right. Listen, guys, coming up
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: in ten minutes. Speaking of Carla, she's gonna tell us
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: about an awkward situation that she and her husband had
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: when they were on vacation. Since I ran into an
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: ex on vacation, we'll talk about don't don't, don't. Yeah,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: So Carla, you and Tosh when on vacation. We mentioned
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you guys went to the baha Us and everything, But
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: what happened? Now? You ran into an X What happened? What? Man?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: What the one? I know? What color? Won? You? And Junior? No? God?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: What what hap the girl? Dave we ran into allegedly allegedly, Yeah,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: that's the car that got key. Oh this was his call.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Allegedly what happen? Colin? Happ Okay? So we was at
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the airport coming back because I need Steve's advice on
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: this later on. So okay, so we was coming to
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the airport. We was coming back, and so we were
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: at the airport, you know, on the gate, waiting on
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: you know, the flight or whatever. Now this is just
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: for those of you all that don't know. This is
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: my ex who accused me of allegedly air quotes destroying
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: his property. Anyway, we're sitting in the gay area. We're
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: waiting to board the flight. Did we start boarding the flight?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I got up and I said, oh no, no, that's
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: what I said. What's around somebody? So Steve? So what
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: and I said, Man, I said, that's my ex over
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: there are getting on the same flight. He said, thank
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: god you ain't had no baby with that Guys that
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: running joe handsome. My girlfriend calls him booger cookies. My
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: girlfriend that face your feature problem personally a right, so
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: to look at him. He ain't gonna look at you.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: He got it, Oh boy, got his head down. I
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: had my head down to if I saw my ex
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: with a good look, can fly dude like me? Like
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: a boy shut off? So I didn't know what to do.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: What were yourvous? I was gonna ask you a little
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: nervous Charley, I didn't know. I was like doing I
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: go spe tune. I ain't know what to do. So wait,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: we bore at the plane. Pilot gets on. There's a delay,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: a delay on the flight. We got to get back
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: off the plane. You know how they make you get
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: off the plane, Steve don't know nothing about. But they
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: made us get off the plane. Higo TODs he grabbing
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: our bad. Now I got to look at his ugly
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: blake again. Y'all sitting close to each other car No, No,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: we weren't. We weren't sitting close to each other. So
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: y'all don't saw you though, Carl he saw me. Oh,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: he definitely. He looked dad at me and he put
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: his head down when he saw me. So what did
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: you do? How do you have you guys ever had
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: like a surprise running with your egg? Yeah? Every everything's
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: giving if you see Have you ever had that happened
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: to you before? Oh? Yeah, yeah, I didn't have that.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: How'd you handle it? But I was with my current
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: girl friends, and I was with a girl earlier that
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: day and told her that I had to go back
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: down to the college check on some stuff, pick up
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: one of my homage. But I actually just went back
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: over my girl's house and we went to the mall
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: were coming down the escalator. The girl I had just
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: been with was at the bottom of the escalator looking
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: at us. Come down to escalator, and we said, you
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: know how to escalator, move down, and she's standing at
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the bottom with her purse, with her hand on her heel.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: She didn't say nothing, but I thought she would, so
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: we just locked eyes and I turned and tried to
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: run up the escalat but you can't, so I just said,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I'm turned down. We got off the escalating. My girl
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: didn't know who she was, so she walked right past.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: So I walked right past her. She went oh, she said, oh.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: She acknowledged. Oh, God, if you don't do nothing else
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: for me this year, I don't mind having a stroke
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: or nothing. You just let us walk with help me, Jesus,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I know not what I have there. I was just prayer. Man.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Then she went over on the aisle and wish where
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: I could see her again. She stood there looking at me,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: just shaking her head back and forth. I said, just
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: hething to come over here, man, I don't have to
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: tap on that. She come over here and to see us. Man,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna create. I'm gonna start knocking after ship. Yeah,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: that's probably that what I had that when I had
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: another one, I ran up into a chick. Uh oh, man,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: let me tell you so, me and my fiance at
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: the time, my first wife goes to one of her
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: girlfriend's churches. We got everybody though. I walk in. Man,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: the chick I used to be crazy about was sitting
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: right there and were in church. Now we don't know it,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: but I'm sitting My girl is up against the wall.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I'm on the next pew. The usher brings the girl
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: and put it right next to me, and I didn't
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: notice it until I turned and she set out, and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I'm sitting in church right between the two him, kind
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: of like my daughter's wedding, college wedding. And yeah, everybody
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: was some my boy, that's a gangsters move, man. I
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: ain't Pete running down. It might have looked like a
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: gangster move, but I was winning my set. Never let
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: him see sweat still, yeah, you know, because nothing that
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: could go wrong, because I tell you. And then the
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: night before at the dinner, the rehearsal dinner was when
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: they first met, you know, the twins. Mom and Margie
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: met for the first time, and my daughter Brandy introduced.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: She said, well, Margic, come on, that's going down here.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Let's address the white elephant in the room. Walked all
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: the way down that long table, stood up and introduced him.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I'm looking down now. I'm so scared they looking down.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: The next thing, I know, they hogged. Ye're the one,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: but I was. I was down a half a bottle.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Reporter that what was drinking? All right? Listen, coming up next,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steven Show our office
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: question of the day, guys, is who is the person
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: in our studio who, no matter how hard they try,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: they will never get fired? All right? Do we have
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: a coworker who says things like I dare them to
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: fire me? Why is all this about me? I see
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: it in the life, right? No one to a pack? Right? Okay,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: keep going, yes, and you hit me because I know
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: this is about me? But go ahead, no, no, no,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: finished question. I've never heard you say I dare them
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to fire me? You have say that? Yeah, he's all right,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I burn this whole dawn play. I don't
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: y'all ain't gonna be no radio finished? Of course? Well
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: is it is it fun? I have to ask is
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: it fun to work with someone like that, that you
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: know that knows they can't get fired, that their boss
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: won't fight, or that in this case, since you think,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: is you your uncle won't fire Oh he'll fire me. Now,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: it's got to be drastic. I got to be the
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: dune something pretty damn you're still here? You should have been. Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that proves that he won't fire you. You're saying, well,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: the only thing saving you, as my sister, What have
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I done that's been so drastic that I should be
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: sent away. Do you do you think you're an outstanding employee?
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I wanted the greatest hit. He said that the confidence
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you just got back to work. He was off yesterday.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: You take more damn vacation. You have more unexcused absence
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: than anybody on this show. You actually take off more
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: time Timmy than anybody including me. And you started out
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: this way. This didn't just happen. We discussed this yesterday
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: when you wasn't here. You are d wash. I'm the worst,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: what the worst? The words? But you want to start
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: there with the WS. Okay, so I have I have
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: a bit of an issue with that. Okay, there's that. Okay,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: there's that because we speak on the radio, right, But
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I just try not to use things that have debts
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: when when? When? Where? Stop? But Steve, seriously, so this
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: kind of falls on you. Why haven't you fired him?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Because well, what's going to happen? Wait a minute, I
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: mean we don't explore it to thing happening to my sister.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: You can believe that then't happening? You you what do
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: you wait a minute? Wait? What went on there? Wait?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: We got that w at that time? Didn't heat when
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: when something happened to my mama, I'm gone like, damn
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: me immediately. It's tough news. I like, for example, if
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: my brother called me and said, bro, little brother, you're
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: sitting down, I gotta talk to you about so we
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: have a big loss in this family. I'm gonna say,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: hold on one second time now, Tommy, Tommy, what know what?
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: My ass? You five? Wait? That's your first phone call.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: But I can't wait to say you can't wait to
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: do this? Not that you know that your uncle's only
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: keeping you here employed because of his I'm just not
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: finding this out today. Called are you gonna change your behavior?
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: In your ways? It's like I got quicker ways? What
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: you got? What? I feel like? I got a quicker ways?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I don't have quick way. I have to admit I
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: will miss that. You will, Yea, I will, Carla, I will,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: all right, So tell me you should at least say
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you're gonna try to do better. Wait, what if you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: get fired? You get other jobs? Not on the radio?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: He wants no, but he'd be great down to zoo.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: What yes, turtle back, you mean that we're a famous
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: turtle up? No, I'm telling all y'all right now I
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: want to leave here. Everybody leaving quick. I'm just putting
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: it doctor. Every We're just gonna let that go. Okay,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: well let it go. But if I was you, I
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: digested though it stop it Okay, you still got chilled job? No, no,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I got eight jobs. We know. We see you get
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: cut from the radio. You go yeah, maybe yeah, if
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: he cuts you from the radio, he'll hire you because
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: you don't have to speak. No, No, I won't, No,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I won't. Then we have to look at it. Is
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: that why you haven't know? We're back to face ship,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: you know, last hour and they can take your glass
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: on TV sho the take? Well then why haven't there
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: all right? Well you're here now. One of the reasons
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I never wanted to tell you this because don't nobody
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: want to tune into you everything. That's why you're not
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: on TV? Because can nobody be turning the challenge and
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: do this and not? That's too much? This is what
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: are you doing? Something? Okay? This channel? Change? This channel changing? Uh,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: And that's what happens when they see Tommy on TV.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: This is me right here, this is Steve, you're s
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: this is me, this is all Okay, pull up Steve, Alright, nice,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: we're gonna be nice, and Temmy, we're not laughing, all right,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: coming killing out somebody and now coming up into it
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: any after, look at this. We have to go, not
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: what they put on. We have to go. We'll have
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: more of this NERD show when we come back right
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Show. This story
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: is for you, guys, Steven Tommy. Here's a story from
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: CBS News Cleveland. Okay. Two firefighters were placed on leave
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: after they filmed porn at the firehouse. All right, Uh,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: a long term couple who also happened to be um
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Akron firefighters are off the job after being accused of
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: making porn in a firehouse. Lieutenants Art Dean and Deane
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Eisler or Dean Eller were placed on leave yesterday pending
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: an investigation because they apparently couldn't resist showing the world
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: their moves in the bed. The pairs involved in a
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: long term relationship and they are assigned to separate fire stations,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and they opted to film some steamy porn scenes in
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the firehouse. Uh, then they posted it online, you know,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: for everyone to see. Everyone. Yeah, they could be fired
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: for their actions, but they're not facing criminal charges. They
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: love each other and they're friends. And I mean that's
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: a pole then, you know in the foster that's where
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: they work. That's like if someone filmed pouring at the
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, yeah, we get the week. Hey look
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: at that? See that? Now? What do you think? Huh?
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Ain't nobody with me? They? I mean, I don't understand
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: posting it exactly? Why would you do that? How drunk
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: are you? Nobody was gonna think that. Y'all at the
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: firehouse at the first everybody knows your name. We shot
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: some polling here at the station. Y'all ain't gonna know
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: that's Tommy. He's standing up on a chair. Why would
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: he be on a chair because he's well, how are
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: you gonna get in the because were you just doing
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: without standing on the chair. It's gonna just look like
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: a little puppet show. Anyway? Can I get to odd story?
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: And other news? Robert de Niro protested President Trump at
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: the Tony Awards. We talked about that last week, and
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: now a Trump supporter has protested at Robert De Niro's
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Broadway show during the curtain Call Saturday night for a
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Bronx tale in which Robert De Niro is directing. An
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: audience member held up a Trump Keep America Great banner
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: and stood by the stage. TMZ says. Security guards eventually
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: threw him out of the theater. So there you go.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: I know this country is crazy. They hate Yeah, especially
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: lately with this immigration news zero tolerance policy. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: that President pass now felt like it has uh the
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: right to voice it. Yeah, He's empowered them to do so. Yeah.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: I'm not surprised by any of It's always existed, absolutely,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: but now people are feeling more comfortable and free about
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: just saying it absolutely, which is a shame. You know,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: it really is. Get a lot of them shirts then
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: with shirts, the'vemen suits too. Don't let your president. You
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: can put down the back of the suit. On the
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: back of the suit. Let's trying to wow. Yeah it is.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: This country has changed. It really has, um and just
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: the last couple of years, you know, it's just been
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: since two thousand sixteen. Um. Anyway, we'll have more of
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up. I believe now
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: we're not trying to fire you. What makes you think that,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Tommy and we can't fire you. We'll have more of
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the c F every morning show. As I was saying,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: coming up right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and Entertainment News. Tiffany Hattish proved that
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: she was definitely ready to host the two thousand eighteen
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: MTV Movie and TV Awards. She did her thing. She
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: opened the show with a black panther type fight scene
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: to see who would actually host the show. Other highlights
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: from the show include Chadwick Boseman um one for Best Hero,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: which was great, but he gave his award and this
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: was even better. I love this. This was a touching
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: moment I saw the show. It was great. Uh. He
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: he gave his award to a real life hero, James
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Shaw Jr. The waffle House hero from Tennessee. Take a listen,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Yeah remember him? Yeah, receiving an award for playing a superhero.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: He's amazing. But it's even greater to acknowledge the heroes
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: that we have in real life. So I just want
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: to acknowledge somebody that's here today. James Shaw Jr. Where
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: are you staying? You don't even know we were about
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: to do this, did you? Uh? If you don't know,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: James Shaw Jill he fought off a gunman in Antioch,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Tennessee at a waffle house. He saved lives. Come on
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: up here, so this is gonna live at your house? Yeah,
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: that's yeah, he's such a great guy. Chadwick. Also actor
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: Michael B. Jordan's took trophy for best Villain. Remember he
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: played killed Lunger and Black Panther and so congratulation. Well
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: you know what he did say. He said he thought
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: Roseanne will win. Yeah he did. He did say that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: He said that, Um, so congratulations to both of them
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: and everyone else, and to Tiffany had As she was
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: really great as her last night before he has a ride. Yeah,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: are you ready switching gears? In sports news, many people
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: are still convinced that Lebron James will be a Los
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: Angeles Laker next season. Happen, It's not gonna happen. See,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: let me, let me, let me help you. As great
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: a dude is Magic Johnson, this is what I think
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: is happening. Here, here's my opinion of whole Lebron James. See,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Lebron will be a free agent. George is a free agent.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Kauai is not a free agent. He just won't out.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: So if they trade him. They gotta get maximum for it.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: So Kauai come into the Lakers and everybody talking on Lebron.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: Kauai and George could team up, but you gotta get
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: that money because if you get Kauai, l A don't
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: have enough pieces to give for Kauai. They got nobody
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: over there. Make them think they're gonna give up Kauai
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: for the Lakers team. And how much money the Lakers
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: got these two free agents. You gotta still make cap rule.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Somebody got to go. And if too many players go
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: on the Lakers team, the Bron gonna be right where
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: he got with, just like he got Kevin Love. He
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: had just had Paul George. They ain't enough to get
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: Golden State. He going to the le Bron. James is
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: gonna go to the Houston Rocket. Steven, they have a
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: movie company here in Los Angeles. You know, still he
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: got it in here in Cleveland. He ain't gonna He
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: ain't got time to sit down. He got people on
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: that right coming up our last break of the day.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: Closing remarks. Okay, get ready, people, you're listening to st show.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Here we go, last break of the day. Steve, You're
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: closing remarks for us. Hey, let let me give you
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: this thought that will help you out. Oh about other
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: people's opinions. Don't let other people's opinion determine your direction.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Don't let other people's opinions in fact your direction. Let
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. They don't know. They
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: actually do not know what's best for you. Most people don't,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: even people who are well meaning. They just really don't
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: know the answer to your success lies. Really, I'm telling you,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: between you and the relationship you have with God. God
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: is in the dream come true business and whatever He
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: puts in your imagination, that's what He had for you.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: We've covered this lad this week. But if you're gonna
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: allow people's opinion, other people's opinion to affect your direction,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you are now being guided by some people other than
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: you and God. What do they really know? Another thing
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: about other people's opinion you gotta be careful of because
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: sometimes you need to look very closely at the person
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: that's providing the opinion. Look at them. Some of them
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: really really shouldn't be in the advisatory capacity. They really shouldn't. Man,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: it's some people passing out advice in your life that
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: hate that ain't took their own advice. It's some people
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: giving you advice who need to be advised. It's some
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: people giving you advice that don't listen to nothing nobody
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: else got to say. And their life is just an
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: example of it. They are walking results of their of
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: their opinion of themselves, and and and and and the
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: and their ability to follow directions. So you gotta be
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: careful when you're taking directions from other people, because everybody
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: don't mean well, they don't even when they think they do. Man,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: how many times man in my life, Man, if I
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: let somebody give me an opinion about me, an opinion
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: which I should have never have listened to. You know,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: I'd say this all the time. I was watching um
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: um um Joel Osteen on TV, and he said, people's
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: opinion of you is none of your business, nor should
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: you make it yours. It doesn't matter what their opinion
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: of you is. It just doesn't matter because God is
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: in to come get you business. Let me tell you something, man,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: wherever you are right now, I'm gonna tell your story.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: I heard one time. It's called it's like the Thomas
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: and the Boat story. This man named Thomas one day
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: was out on the boat by myself. Is a beautiful day.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: It's out there sailing on the boat, and a storm
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: came up out of nowhere, and it capsized the boat,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: and he was way out and he was lost at seat.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: But he got lost, and he got washed up on
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: a deserted island, and so he got up. He woke up.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: He shook up pretty bad, and he found himself on
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: his deserted island. He didn't know where his boat was
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: or nothing. He was just sitting at it because the
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: vote it capsized, and so he's sitting there. So days
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: went by, days and days and days went by. He
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: just out on this elbey, just trying to make it work,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: running out of food. He can't get nobody's attention. He
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: drawing notes in the sand and stuff helped. Nothing. Planes
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: going by, he don't he waving, don't nobody see him.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: He just on this island. So weeks it went by.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: So he got kind of crafty, so he decided one
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: day to build himself some shelter. Took some some bamboo
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: and some banana leaves, and he built, you know, a
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: little covering just for some shelter at night. And this
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: is going along pretty good for a few days, but
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: he's getting a little bit more and more depressed because
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: nobody can find I mean, it ain't a boat going
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: by a nothing. And it just started getting real down
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: on itself because this predicament seems so unbelievable. So it
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: made a fire like you do usually at night, and
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: the wind came over. And when the wind came up,
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: a couple of the sparks hit the shelter, these dried
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: banana leaves and bamboo, and caught it on fire. I
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: mean a horrible fire. It's just burning it down. It
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: had been raining that night, man, and it started raining
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: real bad, and he trying to stay warm, and all
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: of a sudden, sparks catch holding all of a sudden,
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: his whole his whole house, a little hut temporary shelter
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: is on fire. And he just through now and he's
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: just going, God, where are you? Man? I'm so what
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: are you doing to me? Now? I've been out here weeks.
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: I can't get off this alive. You don't hear me?
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: And now you didn't burn down my shelter. I mean,
