- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't joy, Yah, yeah, joy, you don't you turn?
- 1:05Speaker 3: You gotta turn. You have to turn the mouth. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth and turn out
- 1:46Speaker 3: turn a w the mony. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you're thin a I sure will. Good morning
- 2:04Speaker 2: everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show, got
- 2:12Speaker 2: a good one for you today. Tommy text me and
- 2:16Speaker 2: hit me with a thought this morning that caused me
- 2:19Speaker 2: to thinking a little bit deeper about it. And the
- 2:22Speaker 2: text of Tommy sent me this morning said that a
- 2:25Speaker 2: tree yields fruit seasonally, but even when it's not yielding,
- 2:29Speaker 2: it's still a fruit tree. Don't get upset at not producing.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Your season is coming if you stay planted. Okay, one
- 2:38Speaker 2: more time. A fruit tree yields seasonally, but even when
- 2:42Speaker 2: it's not yielding, it's still a fruit tree. Don't get
- 2:45Speaker 2: upset and not producing because your season is coming if
- 2:49Speaker 2: you stay planted. Okay. Now that meant something to me
- 2:52Speaker 2: this morning and It caused me to start to thinking
- 2:56Speaker 2: it through a little bit deeper in terms of what
- 2:59Speaker 2: has happened in my life. Because here's the deal. The
- 3:04Speaker 2: thing that I just learned recently was about seasons in
- 3:12Speaker 2: your life. Seasons. I was familiar with it all my life.
- 3:15Speaker 2: My mother taught it to me. I've experienced it, but
- 3:18Speaker 2: I didn't really get it until of late. The thing
- 3:22Speaker 2: about the seasons in your life is when we start
- 3:24Speaker 2: thinking about when you hear people in Churchill, you hear
- 3:27Speaker 2: people say it's your season is coming. Boy, you in
- 3:30Speaker 2: your season? You know what was messing me up a
- 3:33Speaker 2: little bit, and it might be messing you up. I
- 3:35Speaker 2: thought of seasons just like I did the seasons winter, spring, summer,
- 3:41Speaker 2: and fall. But I had it on the timeline just
- 3:46Speaker 2: like seasons, quarterly a year. So I looked at boy,
- 3:52Speaker 2: is your season, Your season is coming. I looked at
- 3:55Speaker 2: it as a short span of time, and then I
- 3:58Speaker 2: was gonna go back to the barrenness of winter, and
- 4:02Speaker 2: then something might happen a little later on in the
- 4:05Speaker 2: spring and something pop through the ground and flowers show up,
- 4:08Speaker 2: and then they might survive. The summer is good and
- 4:11Speaker 2: it's going good. All summer long, and I'm guiding them
- 4:13Speaker 2: harvesting crops. Then the fall come and start fading in winter,
- 4:16Speaker 2: I go back to suffering the barrenness of winter like
- 4:20Speaker 2: a crop. But here's what I learned. You cannot look
- 4:25Speaker 2: at your season in life and the seasons that we
- 4:29Speaker 2: go through with the same eye for seasons as you
- 4:33Speaker 2: do with crops, because God's timeline is totally different. See,
- 4:38Speaker 2: a season to God could be a really extended period
- 4:42Speaker 2: of time. It could be the duration of your life.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's what a season is in God's timeline. See God
- 4:51Speaker 2: is expansive man, He's way bigger than the regular thing.
- 4:55Speaker 2: So what may be a season to a farmer, a
- 4:58Speaker 2: season for God it could be three hundred years, fifty years,
- 5:02Speaker 2: sixty years, eighty years, you in now. So I had
- 5:05Speaker 2: to learn that because I was afraid that seasonally meant
- 5:10Speaker 2: that this blessing would be for a short period of time.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Then I go back. Then I here come another burst,
- 5:15Speaker 2: and then I go back. I fired a few more
- 5:18Speaker 2: night shots, and now I can have a nice summer.
- 5:20Speaker 2: And then I started withering away and here come winn again.
- 5:23Speaker 2: The first things first, that's not how it worked for me,
- 5:26Speaker 2: and That's how I had to learn. So now let's
- 5:29Speaker 2: talk about it with that in mind. See what the
- 5:32Speaker 2: text time is sent me meant a lot to me,
- 5:35Speaker 2: because see, everybody is a fruit tree. We are all
- 5:40Speaker 2: a fruit tree. But here's the key, though, we are
- 5:43Speaker 2: all different kinds of fruit trees. Oh see, that's the difference.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And that's the other thing was tripping me off. See
- 5:51Speaker 2: I was looking at the other trees trying to figure
- 5:56Speaker 2: out why I wasn't given and varying the same fruit
- 6:00Speaker 2: that they were burying. Why wasn't I a billionaire? Why
- 6:05Speaker 2: wasn't I a yacht owner? Why didn't I come up
- 6:09Speaker 2: with the next great idea? Why wasn't I the next
- 6:13Speaker 2: big producer. Why wasn't I the next big major star.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Why wasn't I the one that came up with some
- 6:21Speaker 2: earth shattering idea and invention that would change the scope
- 6:25Speaker 2: of the world and all this money would flow me?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Why wasn't I Because that ain't my fruit, That's not
- 6:30Speaker 2: my tree. See, everybody can't be Steve Jobs. Everybody's not
- 6:35Speaker 2: gonna be the guy that comes up with the next
- 6:38Speaker 2: invention that changes the world. You ain't the right brothers.
- 6:41Speaker 2: You may not be the one to think of flight.
- 6:43Speaker 2: For what is your fruit? Though? See your fruit is plenty,
- 6:47Speaker 2: see and and and and what the what the text
- 6:50Speaker 2: was saying is your fruit. You you bear fruits seasonally.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That means it's coming. Sometimes you still sprouting. Well, when
- 6:58Speaker 2: you're sprouting, you can't have fruit on you yet what
- 7:01Speaker 2: you're tripping for? You just sprouted.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You just came up through the dirt.
- 7:06Speaker 2: You've been hustling and grinded. You just popped up through
- 7:09Speaker 2: the dirt. Now you're a young tree, you a bush.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Even if you had fruit on it, your bark and
- 7:14Speaker 2: your limbs ain't strong enough to hold the fruit. The
- 7:18Speaker 2: size of the fruit would break your limbs if you
- 7:21Speaker 2: get it too early. Paul, come on, man, don't you
- 7:24Speaker 2: understand this? Now? This is what this text meant to me.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And so while I wanted fruit, I wasn't ready to
- 7:31Speaker 2: hold the fruit. So you gotta strengthen yourself. You gotta
- 7:35Speaker 2: get focused, You gotta be who you're supposed to be.
- 7:37Speaker 2: You gotta try hard. God, the fruit season is coming
- 7:40Speaker 2: for you, because everybody is a fruit tree, and everybody
- 7:44Speaker 2: gonna bath fruit. But what you cannot do is think that. Look,
- 7:49Speaker 2: if you're a lemon tree, and your fruit that you
- 7:51Speaker 2: bear is lemon. This is analogy. Now I'm talking about
- 7:53Speaker 2: whatever your gift is. The fruit you bear is a
- 7:56Speaker 2: lemon tree. But you look over there, and you looking
- 7:58Speaker 2: at the apple arch. It you going man, But them
- 8:00Speaker 2: apples is big and red. More people eat apples than
- 8:03Speaker 2: eat lemons. You sell more apples than you do lemons.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Oh that's true. So now guess what you do?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Now?
- 8:10Speaker 2: You uproot yourself. You take yourself up out of who
- 8:14Speaker 2: you are and what you were born to do. You
- 8:16Speaker 2: remove yourself from your gift. You take yourself all out
- 8:20Speaker 2: of who you really are. Going over there trying to
- 8:24Speaker 2: be an apple tree. When God made you the lemon tree.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Now guess what. Now you're all about the soil. You
- 8:31Speaker 2: ain't rooted no more, can't no nutrients come up through
- 8:34Speaker 2: your roots to even feed the limons that He bore
- 8:37Speaker 2: you to have. Now you're over there trying to be
- 8:39Speaker 2: an apple. Well, ain't no room in the apple archer
- 8:42Speaker 2: for the lemon tree. Now you're wondering why you can't
- 8:44Speaker 2: get your roots down in there, why they ain't accepting you?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Now you're baring man, who woar is me? Lord? You
- 8:50Speaker 2: don't never give me no fruit. It's because you keep moving.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You keep taking yourself out of who you are. You
- 8:58Speaker 2: keep removing yourself from the soil that you was planted in.
- 9:02Speaker 2: You keep taking yourself out your orchard. Stop trying to
- 9:05Speaker 2: be an apple. If you was born to be a
- 9:07Speaker 2: lemon what's wrong with lemons? I like lemonade. A lot
- 9:10Speaker 2: of people I know like lemonade. Lemonade. If you stay
- 9:12Speaker 2: focused with it, you might be the only one with
- 9:15Speaker 2: the good limits. Now, everybody the need limits gotta come
- 9:18Speaker 2: to you. Oh man, But if you keep uprooting yourself moving,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you'll never bear the fruit that you was born to bear.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Everybody is a fruit tree. But you got to stay planted. Man,
- 9:29Speaker 2: You gotta stay nourished. You gotta talk to your creator
- 9:32Speaker 2: who made you, and find out what fruit you supposed
- 9:35Speaker 2: to bear, and then in your season. It's coming, man,
- 9:39Speaker 2: your season is coming. But you got to stay planted,
- 9:42Speaker 2: and you got to realize through contacting your creator what
- 9:46Speaker 2: type of fruit tree you are. And quit looking at
- 9:49Speaker 2: the other orchids trying to get over there, and they
- 9:52Speaker 2: got more fruit than you. That's not who you are.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Stop trying to be something that you are now.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning y'all.

- 15:42Speaker 10: You know, I'm just coming at you like a man, brother,
- 15:45Speaker 10: trying to let you know she don't even really want
- 15:47Speaker 10: you no more. You know, we done talked about it,

- 15:57Speaker 10: Really okay, okay, Well, you know it's a lot smooth
- 16:01Speaker 10: than I expected. Player, man, what it is, it is,
- 16:07Speaker 10: what it is, I mean, long as long as you,
- 16:09Speaker 10: long as you cool, I thought, you know, I just
- 16:11Speaker 10: want to be a man called and how I.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Let you let you know? Have you seen her today?
- 16:15Speaker 2: And where are you from Jersey? I'm around Newark.
- 16:20Speaker 7: I mean you said it's a lot smootherer than you
- 16:22Speaker 7: thought it was gonna be.
- 16:23Speaker 10: Well, you know, anytime something another man from the call,
- 16:26Speaker 10: another man by his wife, I mean, yeah, you don't.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Expect it to be nothing. You know, pretty simple, that's
- 16:31Speaker 2: for sure.
- 16:32Speaker 10: I didn't contemplate it a long time by calling you
- 16:34Speaker 10: sow you know today I just said to him with number,
- 16:38Speaker 10: I've been hand your number.
- 16:39Speaker 2: I had your number a long time.
- 16:43Speaker 7: All right, now you say you're looking, Uh, it's a
- 16:45Speaker 7: lot smootherer than you thought it was gonna be. It
- 16:47Speaker 7: ain't that smooth. But you know you don't want to
- 16:49Speaker 7: you know, like the thing is, you got one up
- 16:52Speaker 7: on it because you know my information. Now I'll come
- 16:54Speaker 7: find you.
- 16:55Speaker 10: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold up now good you
- 16:59Speaker 10: feel like I need to hold up because you feel
- 17:02Speaker 10: like you need to be looking for me or something. Brother,
- 17:05Speaker 10: Look look at it. Let's check this out. This is
- 17:07Speaker 10: a decision that the wife has made. You understand what
- 17:10Speaker 10: I'm saying. So you have no reason to be mad
- 17:12Speaker 10: at me about anything. You have no reason to be
- 17:15Speaker 10: coming looking for me or any information on me, because see,
- 17:17Speaker 10: when that happens, then it's gonna really get stinky up
- 17:20Speaker 10: in here.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And I'm trying not to let that happen. That's why
- 17:22Speaker 2: I'm calling you like a man. Brother.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Trust me, Fan, it ain't nothing that I'm never worried about.
- 17:27Speaker 10: Okay, Well, I'm just letting you know. Man, I'm letting
- 17:30Speaker 10: you know up front. She with me and her contemplated
- 17:32Speaker 10: a long time. YadA YadA.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So now you know here we are. So I said,
- 17:35Speaker 2: you know, what the hell with it? I'm calling today, y'all.
- 17:39Speaker 7: Should dit this on the phone together out of respect
- 17:41Speaker 7: that both y'all a lot more.
- 17:42Speaker 10: Okay, Well, you know, and then you know, if that's
- 17:45Speaker 10: what it's got to be, we be face to face together,
- 17:47Speaker 10: whatever it's gotta be, man, I prefer Okay, So, but
- 17:51Speaker 10: let me ask you this, where is going there?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Once we both stay flat footed and tell you how
- 17:55Speaker 2: it is, then what.
- 17:58Speaker 7: I ain't gonna never be flat footed.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Okay, what the flat footed? The upside down? Any way
- 18:03Speaker 2: you want to look at it.
- 18:04Speaker 10: Bro I'm trying not to get into this physical part,
- 18:06Speaker 10: but it seemed like you leaning that way with me.
- 18:09Speaker 7: It could be what up you know, it could be
- 18:11Speaker 7: on this side of the dirt of the other side.
- 18:12Speaker 7: It don't make a difference.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It never does, brother, It never does. When two bulls
- 18:17Speaker 2: come together, one of them got to go down.
- 18:19Speaker 7: Now, guess what we're doing too much talking? You got
- 18:22Speaker 7: my information? Guess what now I'm brot loaded a hunter
- 18:25Speaker 7: for you.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You lock and loaded.
- 18:27Speaker 7: There's no need for you to say. There's no need
- 18:29Speaker 7: for us to discuss anymore.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Okay, cool?
- 18:31Speaker 10: You know matter while we're at it, Man, let me
- 18:33Speaker 10: go and drop it all on you then, because it
- 18:36Speaker 10: seemed like we need to go and get it all
- 18:37Speaker 10: out the way.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You cool? You know what I'm saying.
- 18:40Speaker 10: I think you need you know, matter of fact, if
- 18:42Speaker 10: you want to just keep it all the way real,
- 18:44Speaker 10: you might want to go take a blood test about
- 18:46Speaker 10: Alana and make sure you.
- 18:48Speaker 2: To pop it too.
- 18:48Speaker 5: That all right?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Feel me?
- 18:51Speaker 5: Got it?
- 18:54Speaker 10: So I'm gonna have your wife get your car. Man,
- 18:57Speaker 10: because we didn't contemplate it too long.
- 18:58Speaker 7: At it's time you know my information. Like I said,
- 19:02Speaker 7: you said enough, you hit enough bones there. Now I'm
- 19:05Speaker 7: really out loading on a hundred for somebody.

- 22:37Speaker 1: I'm in a small town and I don't want to
- 22:39Speaker 1: act too common. If it's just good, clean fun, why
- 22:43Speaker 1: can't I casually date a couple of guys and have
- 22:45Speaker 1: sex before I become someone's wife. Some man's wife well going,
- 22:50Speaker 1: so she wants to.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Know and do like you want to do. But you've
- 22:53Speaker 2: already checked yourself for not doing it because you're in
- 22:57Speaker 2: a small town. So when you go on, you have
- 23:00Speaker 2: these little excursions that you considering doing, and you're going
- 23:03Speaker 2: and do have sex. They're gonna tell it. And now
- 23:06Speaker 2: you're in that same small town trying to act accordingly.
- 23:09Speaker 2: But now you've changed your mind so you can have fun.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And now ain't nobody gonna want you to be a wife.
- 23:15Speaker 2: You're in a small town. You must be in that
- 23:17Speaker 2: small town. And I'm not saying because you've had sex
- 23:20Speaker 2: before a child, that's not That's not what I'm talking about.
- 23:23Speaker 2: But the thing that you're talking about doing in the
- 23:26Speaker 2: position that you're in and we're not but listen to
- 23:29Speaker 2: what you said, you would have to be extra careful
- 23:32Speaker 2: to protect your brand and who you are. Other than that,
- 23:35Speaker 2: you're gonna do like you want to do.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Yeah, she wants to have fun before she settles down
- 23:40Speaker 1: at twenty eight.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Okay, I ain't mad at that. Go ahead and enjoy
- 23:42Speaker 2: your life.
- 23:44Speaker 1: But remember you're in a small town. That is basically
- 23:46Speaker 1: what you're saying.
- 23:47Speaker 2: They're gonna ask you about it.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah, because they're gonna know you're right, all right, thank you.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Moving on to Rolanda and Augusta, Rolanda writes, I don't drink,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and I'm a pescatarian. I went to a dinner with
- 24:00Speaker 1: my girls, and when the bill came, they wanted me
- 24:03Speaker 1: to split the bill evenly four ways with them. They
- 24:06Speaker 1: had nine drinks. I asked our waiter for my check,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and I paid for what I ate and drank. One
- 24:13Speaker 1: of my girls says, I won't be invited next time.
- 24:16Speaker 1: What did I do wrong?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Well, you didn't.
- 24:19Speaker 9: I don't know, he said, well, you didn't you paid
- 24:25Speaker 9: the checks. This is yeah, this is not true because
- 24:28Speaker 9: you don't go through this right. Yeah, because when we
- 24:31Speaker 9: go out with you, we look at you.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It is either me or Tommy. Yeah. Paid. A couple of.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Times I heard Yeah, there's not a press. Yeah, is
- 24:42Speaker 1: there a problem?
- 24:44Speaker 5: What?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Well, I don't like when the bill come how y'all
- 24:47Speaker 2: look off. You don't see you're sitting there?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Well, why would we look at you? I'm like, yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 1: what does the bill have.
- 24:54Speaker 2: To do with us? Don't don't don't wait till I
- 24:57Speaker 2: asked you to pass it down. Before you pass it down,
- 25:00Speaker 2: all of a sudden you see it.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Well, I'm I'm confused. Is why the waiter didn't just
- 25:05Speaker 1: give it to you?
- 25:06Speaker 7: You know?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Yeah, because we just point we go that way. So
- 25:12Speaker 1: what does she do wrong? Well, they had nine drinks.
- 25:18Speaker 1: She doesn't drink, she doesn't.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I don't think she did anything wrong because she paid
- 25:23Speaker 2: her fast shrint.
- 25:27Speaker 9: Yeah, what you know, that's a thing now when you
- 25:29Speaker 9: go out, it's a big issue when you go out
- 25:33Speaker 9: with your crew and who's gonna you.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Got to divide the bill and you don't hate all
- 25:37Speaker 1: that drink all that. It's a thing now.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, it seemed to me like y'all ought to
- 25:41Speaker 2: meet in the parking lot. Y'all go in, Oh, have
- 25:46Speaker 2: a conversation, Yeah, and had this commisa y'all need to

- 26:06Speaker 2: it through.
- 26:07Speaker 1: All right. Moving on, Thank you, Ciela. Moving on to
- 26:10Speaker 1: Deshaun in Pensacola. Deshaun writes, my girlfriend posted a picture
- 26:15Speaker 1: Saturday in her two piece swimsuit with the caption sons
- 26:19Speaker 1: out buns out. I asked her to take it down
- 26:22Speaker 1: because she was showing too much.
- 26:24Speaker 5: She said, I.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Shouldn't be so insecure? Am I insecure? Or protective?
- 26:29Speaker 5: What?
- 26:30Speaker 2: You're both?
- 26:31Speaker 4: Man?
- 26:33Speaker 2: So insecure and protective. But the problem really ain't with you.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah souns up, bus, it's with her.

- 27:31Speaker 2: her you.
- 27:32Speaker 1: But sons out, buns out, what happened your Stuno girl?
- 27:39Speaker 1: That's a bit much. It is a bit much, all right?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Moving on last one, Ruthie and Bowie writes, I stopped
- 27:47Speaker 1: buying my ex husband's plates to pick up my mail,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and he was looking good and smelling good. So I
- 27:52Speaker 1: almost messed up and gave him some I can't get
- 27:55Speaker 1: him off my mind, and he knows I want it.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Should I go back just for one more time?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Well, you almost did.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah, exes do that all the time, though a lot
- 28:04Speaker 1: of them do.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Go get the mail.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I don't know the first place, you know.
- 28:11Speaker 1: To get her mail. She went over there to get
- 28:12Speaker 1: her mail. Her ex husband was looking and smelling real good.
- 28:17Speaker 1: She said, she can't put in the change of address blom.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Right, And he knew you was coming over, so he
- 28:26Speaker 2: put on a little something. But to the extra cologne on.
- 28:29Speaker 2: You just didn't get into the spiderweb. Get over there.
- 28:32Speaker 2: By that spiderweb. You ain't got to get all and
- 28:34Speaker 2: you just need to get your wayne caught up it.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so she's asking should she go back one more time?
- 28:43Speaker 2: She wants to, So go ahead.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I mean, but you hear this a lot about exes
- 28:49Speaker 1: hooking up after the divorce. You do hear this, especially
- 28:53Speaker 1: before they get into another relationship or something while they're
- 28:56Speaker 1: just lingering, you know, they go back, Well, go.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Ahead, do it. But if you're gonna go back, go
- 29:01Speaker 2: over there with two things, yourself and the reason why
- 29:05Speaker 2: y'all got the divorce in the first place, and then
- 29:07Speaker 2: proceed cautious.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Okay, all right, good advice, Colo, great advice. Yeah, but
- 29:15Speaker 1: you think she's gonna go back though, she says just
- 29:17Speaker 1: one more to go, It's gonna be more than that,
- 29:20Speaker 1: he said, Yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Reading a letter over there now, she listened to it
- 29:30Speaker 2: in the car. Yeah, yeah, she timed it. So when
- 29:36Speaker 2: the Strawberry letter almost finished, I'll be pulling.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Up right about now.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 9: Yeah, the same thing, same thinking, saying, right, and she
- 29:46Speaker 9: still needs advice, right?
- 29:47Speaker 3: Wow?
- 29:49Speaker 1: Okay, Well let this be a lesson though, you said,
- 29:52Speaker 1: Remember I liked what you said about remember why you
- 29:55Speaker 1: divorced in the first place. Go back to the that
- 30:01Speaker 1: would be a no for me, A big fat no, Monica,
- 30:07Speaker 1: put your hand out.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Not no marriage.
- 30:11Speaker 9: No, I'm too scarred for Yeah, I'm assuming you were
- 30:16Speaker 9: talking about marriage.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody else?
- 30:21Speaker 1: How all right, guys, coming up at the top of
- 30:27Speaker 1: the hour, we have some entertainment news for you. Right
- 30:30Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Well, legendary
- 30:39Speaker 1: civil rights attorney and her good friend Ben Kromp has
- 30:42Speaker 1: won a fifty million dollar that's right, I said, fifty
- 30:45Speaker 1: million dollars settlement against Google in a class action suit.
- 30:50Speaker 1: The lawsuit was originally filed back in twenty twenty two
- 30:53Speaker 1: and alleged that Google engaged in a pattern and practice
- 30:57Speaker 1: of discrimination, steering black employees into lower level roles with
- 31:01Speaker 1: less pay and fewer opportunities to advance. Attorney Crump represented
- 31:06Speaker 1: over four thousand black employees in a lawsuit and describe
- 31:09Speaker 1: the settlement as a quote significant step toward holding one
- 31:13Speaker 1: of the world's most powerful companies accountable. But they didn't
- 31:17Speaker 1: admit to anything. Google agreed to the fifty million dollar payout,
- 31:21Speaker 1: but the company didn't admit to any wrongdoing. They denied
- 31:24Speaker 1: the allegations of improper treatment. This is, however, another big
- 31:28Speaker 1: win for Attorney Crump, who is now widely known by
- 31:32Speaker 1: the nickname Black America as Attorney General because of his
- 31:36Speaker 1: major role as an advocate for justice for his people.
- 31:40Speaker 1: So congratulations he Attorney Ben Crump.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yes, Google is not admitting to anything.
- 31:47Speaker 1: What do you exactly speed?
- 31:50Speaker 2: That's all love.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Moving on to Jamie Fox and his girlfriend.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Her name is Alex Huckstep. They're expecting their first child together.
- 32:02Speaker 1: This will be Jamie's third child. Yes, anyways, well I'm
- 32:07Speaker 1: getting to that. Jamie will this will be his third child,
- 32:10Speaker 1: Alice's first child. Jamie Tommy is fifty eight years old.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Fifty eight, you guys are the same age, fifty eight
- 32:20Speaker 1: and Alice is thirty one. Multiple outlets have confirmed the pregnancy,
- 32:24Speaker 1: and a firestorm firestorm of comments popped up online, particularly
- 32:29Speaker 1: because his girlfriend is white, Miss Alex Huckstep. In Jamie's
- 32:34Speaker 1: last comedy special, we all remember how he praised black
- 32:36Speaker 1: women for sticking by his side during his medical crisis
- 32:40Speaker 1: in twenty twenty three, and then he loosely joked that
- 32:43Speaker 1: he would not date any more white women. So that's
- 32:48Speaker 1: all out the window.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:51Speaker 1: The real question though, the real question, I think Tommy,
- 32:54Speaker 1: you alluded to it. Would you want another baby at
- 32:57Speaker 1: aged fifty eight? Age fifty eight?
- 33:02Speaker 9: No, fifty eight years old and you got a new
- 33:05Speaker 9: more none of any baby?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yes, team, yes, so at my age, I don't even
- 33:12Speaker 2: want the ones I got and they're good and grown.
- 33:18Speaker 9: Can you imagine diaper change and potty training, daycare school?
- 33:25Speaker 2: He's nothing to do all that.
- 33:27Speaker 1: No, he's people. Yeah, yeah, that's why it might be
- 33:30Speaker 1: easier for him to do it, you know, and this
- 33:34Speaker 1: will be his third baby. Yeah, all right, Well what
- 33:38Speaker 1: what what are you saying?
- 33:39Speaker 10: Tell me you're by you might be buying daping for
- 33:42Speaker 10: the baby and yourself in a minute.
- 33:46Speaker 1: You know, he's only fifty eight. You guys are in
- 33:48Speaker 1: the same age. We both.
- 33:56Speaker 2: What you got close to die.
- 33:57Speaker 3: But we don't say that.
- 34:01Speaker 1: What were you gonna say?
- 34:01Speaker 4: You're I thought I thought al Pacino still had babies,
- 34:04Speaker 4: didn't he? But he's still making babies.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's eighty something. You're right, he's eighty something
- 34:09Speaker 1: making babies.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Okay, you're not mad at it, but I mean.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Think about men, right, You guys can make babies until
- 34:17Speaker 1: the grave or.
- 34:18Speaker 9: Something a long long time, way longer than women. Way
- 34:22Speaker 9: longer than women. You got, you can have that, all of.
- 34:25Speaker 3: That you can have that.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Don't make the baby and go do two movies. He
- 34:30Speaker 4: gone for the year. You did with that un til
- 34:34Speaker 4: I get back. I'll be back in December.
- 34:38Speaker 1: That's so, that's why it's not a big deal that
- 34:42Speaker 1: he has.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yeah, baby, that's a good point. Yeah it is.
- 34:48Speaker 5: So.
- 34:48Speaker 1: See if you wouldn't do it either, you wouldn't do it.
- 34:50Speaker 1: You said you don't want the ones you have.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I means Jamie, Jamie could do what you want to do.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Me.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 34:59Speaker 4: The cool confident is a being you think you're making.
- 35:04Speaker 2: No, No, I wouldn't make a good father.
- 35:07Speaker 1: I was gonna say, but Waite, I was gonna say,
- 35:10Speaker 1: would you make it to their graduation? That would make
- 35:15Speaker 1: a good ball.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Brother to right now, I'm not going to make a
- 35:18Speaker 2: good father. Not to know newborn.
- 35:24Speaker 1: See the baby is crying. Get the baby his bottle.
- 35:34Speaker 1: So it's just over for you, all right, we get it.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Congratulations to Jamie Fox. Finally, seventeen Americans from a cruise
- 35:42Speaker 1: ship link to a rare hantavirus broke outbreak are back
- 35:47Speaker 1: in the US and they are now being quarantined at
- 35:50Speaker 1: the National Quarantine Unit at the University of Nebraska in
- 35:53Speaker 1: Omaha for an undisclosed amount of time. One of the
- 35:58Speaker 1: passengers tested mildly positive TIVE for the and Is virus,
- 36:02Speaker 1: a strain that can spread through close contact, and two
- 36:05Speaker 1: passengers were put in special bio containment units. Hunted virus
- 36:10Speaker 1: viruses are transmitted to humans primarily through contact with saliva,
- 36:17Speaker 1: contact with urine, or feces from infected rodents.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Ew e.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Exactly, this is so nasty.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Well two things. Just don't kiss nobody and don't pick
- 36:31Speaker 2: up no peding, ain't yours.

- 36:58Speaker 1: Uh, this is craziness. Why are you over there? How'd

- 56:46Speaker 2: We got it for you here.
- 56:47Speaker 1: It is strawberry letter thanking if you subject my neighbor
- 56:51Speaker 1: hid my side, dude. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married
- 56:55Speaker 1: for almost ten years. My husband had a baby with
- 56:59Speaker 1: another woman's six years ago, and things haven't been the
- 57:02Speaker 1: same since then. I was broken and felt like I
- 57:06Speaker 1: was not good enough to be loved. I left my
- 57:09Speaker 1: husband for two years, and he got baptized and gave
- 57:12Speaker 1: his testimony to the church and asked for forgiveness. Our
- 57:16Speaker 1: pastor pressured me to move back home and fix my marriage.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I embraced my stepdaughter and we're besties now, but my
- 57:24Speaker 1: husband and I were never the same. I confided with
- 57:28Speaker 1: one of the choir members at our church and he
- 57:31Speaker 1: knew my history with my husband. We ended up having
- 57:34Speaker 1: a sexual and a spiritual connection and it's helped with
- 57:39Speaker 1: my self esteem, my boyfriend started coming to our house,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and he parked in my neighbor's driveway to hide his car.
- 57:46Speaker 1: My neighbor was cool with it and said she was
- 57:49Speaker 1: happy that I was getting my group back. I trusted
- 57:52Speaker 1: her with my secret. I figured my boyfriend wouldn't hurt
- 57:55Speaker 1: me since he knew about trauma I had been through.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Day.
- 58:00Speaker 1: My husband was at work, so my boyfriend said he
- 58:02Speaker 1: would stop by for a quickie after church. I skipped
- 58:06Speaker 1: church to prepare for him. Around two pm, I started
- 58:10Speaker 1: calling and texting him, but he didn't answer. I called
- 58:13Speaker 1: to ask my neighbor if she'd seen him, and she
- 58:16Speaker 1: didn't answer. I have to walk around her house to
- 58:20Speaker 1: see her driveway, and my intuition told me to go
- 58:23Speaker 1: over there. My boyfriend's car was right there. I knocked
- 58:27Speaker 1: and my boyfriend came to the door shirtless. He said
- 58:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I tried to push past him to get
- 58:35Speaker 1: to my neighbor, but he strong armed me. They said
- 58:39Speaker 1: they would call the police if I didn't leave. My
- 58:42Speaker 1: neighbor hid my side dude from me, and I'm not
- 58:46Speaker 1: losing another man. How does this keep happening? That's the
- 58:50Speaker 1: wrong question you should be asking. How how did this happen.
- 58:56Speaker 1: How do you move on from this mess? I mean,
- 58:59Speaker 1: one thing for sure, or one thing for sure in
- 59:01Speaker 1: this letter is that none of you guys need to
- 59:04Speaker 1: be cheating, None of you, from your husband to you,
- 59:07Speaker 1: to your side dude to your neighbor. You're all very
- 59:10Speaker 1: bad at cheating, and then you get mean with it
- 59:13Speaker 1: when you get caught, like you know your boyfriend and
- 59:17Speaker 1: your neighbor did. That was terrible what they did, said
- 59:19Speaker 1: they were going to call the police on you. You're
- 59:21Speaker 1: all very bad at it, and your pastor should have
- 59:25Speaker 1: stayed out of your business. He was wrong too, You
- 59:27Speaker 1: were vulnerable, you were broken at the time. He had
- 59:30Speaker 1: no right to pressure you to take your husband back
- 59:33Speaker 1: after your husband had a baby with another woman. Okay,
- 59:37Speaker 1: that's strictly your decision. He should have recommended therapy or
- 59:41Speaker 1: counseling or something like that for you guys, so you
- 59:44Speaker 1: could regain some self esteem and maybe start a forgiveness process.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Whether you took him back or not, you guys could
- 59:51Speaker 1: have at least talked it out or tried. You and
- 59:53Speaker 1: your husband I think would have been much better going
- 59:56Speaker 1: your separate ways, because you said your marriage was never
- 59:58Speaker 1: the same after the baby, and that's understandable, and I
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: know it's possible to forgive, but to get back with
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: your husband after that kind of betrayal is nearly impossible.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: And by the way I say thank you, I do
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: want to thank you for embracing the baby, because it's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: definitely definitely not her fault. She's an innocent bystander in
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: all of this. But it's over. It's over now. You
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: and your husband may as well stop the bleeding, get
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a divorce, and I suggest you change churches and if
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: you can move, because this is just a mess. Your neighbor,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: it's just too messy.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Steve, Well, you know this letter has I think Shirley
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: pointed it out, but this letter has a lot of
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: people doing a lot of wrong stuff in this letter.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: And it's so much wrong in this letter that there's
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: no right that can come out of it. I mean,
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I've only found one right thing you did in this
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: letter that I thought or married. I'll share it with you.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: You've been married for ten years, your husband had a
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: baby with another woman six years ago, and things haven't
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: been the same since then. I was broken, felt like
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you were good enough to be loved. Now you left
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: your husband for two years. You didn't divorce him. You
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: left him for two years, so you all were still married.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: That's how you got to the total of ten years.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: So you left him for two years. He got baptized,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: gave his testimony to the church and asked for forgiveness. Fine,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: y'all could have forgave it, but then you punped your
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: pastor pressured you to move back home and fix my marriage.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Here's a problem. You didn't even want your husband back.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: You was gone for two years trying to pull yourself together.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: You didn't even want him. Why would you move back
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: in a house to repair a marriage that you don't
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: even want. You could have forgave him, but forgiven don't
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: mean forgetting. I learned that from Vicio Jacon. Now here's
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: the only redeeming thing. I embraced my stepdaughter and with Bestie's. Now, well,
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: that's admirable. Love you, but my husband and I were
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: never the same. The reason you were never the same
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: was because you might have forgiven him, but you couldn't
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: forget what he did, and you were never comfortable with
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: him and his explanation of him. I confided in one
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: of the choir members that your church he knew your
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: history with your husband. Y'all ain't never having sex and
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: a spiritual connection, and it helped me with my self esteem.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Why do people mix God with their sin? Look, you
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: have a sexual relationship with the choir member, but you
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: want to throw the lawd in it because it was
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: a spiritual connection.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: No, it wasn't.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: It was a church connection. He was a choir member
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: and you were a regular member. That ain't a spiritual connection.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: We all met at the church.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on. We'll have two of your
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject my neighbor hid my side. Dude.

- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Come on Steve Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: my neighbor hid my side Dude.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Okay, quickly, lady was married for ten years, six years ago.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: If her husband had an affair, had a baby with
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: another woman, and things ain't been the same since you
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: were broken. You left your husband for two years, for
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: two years, but you were still married, but you left
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: him for two years. Now he got baptized and gave
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: his testimony to the church and asked for forgiveness. Then
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: your pastor pressured me to move back home and fix
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: my marriage problem with that. You didn't want to. You
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: didn't want to, and like Shirley said, pastor really should
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: have stayed out of it. But pastors should have been
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: more concerned with the way you were feeling. You should
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: have went and talked to somebody about what you was feeling.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Because you didn't even want the man back. So now
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: you took him back and you worked on. But you
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: embraced your step daughter and y'all vesties, which is good
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: of you. But you and your husband were never the
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: same because you couldn't move past it. And if you
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: can't move past it, then you got to move on.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: That's what women should do. If you can't get past
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: the cheating, then you got to get past your relationship.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Just move on or else you're gonna live there trying
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: to grapple with And it ain't your fault. I confind
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: it with the choir members at our church. He knew
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: your history with your husband. We ended up having a
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: sexual and spiritual connection. And to help with my self esteem.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Oh now, because somebody want you, which ain't hard to find.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: Now your self esteem is a But now y'all want
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: to have a sexual and spiritual connection. It's not a
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: spiritual connection, it's just a church connection. He just a
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: dude in a choir that knew you was broken and vulnerable,
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: stepped in and said all the things you wanted to hear,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: and now he at you. My boyfriend started coming to
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: our house and he would park in my neighbor's driveway
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: to hide his car. So now you're married, but now
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: you got this boyfriend that's coming over your house that
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: know you married, and parking in your neighbor's driveway to
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: hide his car. My neighbor was cool with it, says
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: she was happy. I was getting my groove back all
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: this while you was married. Now I ain't. I understand
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: where you're coming from, because you was hurt and it's
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: to get back moved. I got that, But you do
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: know this ain't cool. And if it was cool, you
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: wouldn't have had to hide his car in your neighbor's
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: drive I trusted her with my secret. I figured my
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: boyfriend wouldn't hurt me since he knew about the trauma
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: had been through. Your boyfriend was the one who took
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: advantage of your trump. Now you're thinking he won't hurt you.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: What did he did that won't hurt you? Why? Because
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: he wanted to sleep with you. Give you your groove back,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Give yourself a steam back. You misunderstood what this was
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: for a lady. Sunday, my husband was at work, so
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: my boyfriend said he stopped by for a quickie after church.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he taking care of you. Oh he care
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: about you. You down to a quickie now. I skipped
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: church to prepare for him. Now you ain't even going
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: down there to see God. Don't more so you stay
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: at the house and get touched up on her quicket.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: I don't know how y'all think some good supposed to
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: come out of this? You skipping church now so you
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: can get done. I skipped church to prepare for him.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Around two pm. I started calling and texting him, but
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: he didn't asked. I called her as my neighbor had
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: seen him. She ain't answer. I had to walk around
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: to her house to see her driveway, and my intuition
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: had told me to go over there. My boyfriend's congress
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: right there, right there. I knocked and my boyfriend came
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: to the door shirtless. He opened the door and said,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry, mate, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, but the
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: dog that I am. And now you know, because I
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: was just taking advantage of your situation, what you want
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: me to do? You got a hub? He just up
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: at the church right now, So I was just gonna
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: come by and tap right quickly. And then you know
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: I was over here with your neighbor and your neighbor
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: know I'm tapping and then looking look at your neighbor,
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: you know, she said, Well, since you over there tapping,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I ain't got nobody you can park in my driveway.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: You might as well come on in. What did you hiding, folk,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: cause I ain't gonna hide. You can park in my driveway.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Everybody see you'll call over here. Let's gonna do this here,
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: he said, I'm sorry. I tried to push past him
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: to get to my neighbor, but he's strong army. Now,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: now what you gonna with the neighbor? You the one
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: married your neighbor single. The shirtless dude is one that
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: went over there. What you pushing past him for? See,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: you got all to blame in the wrong place. They said,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: they will call the police off there. Now they finna
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: turn your who what happened to black lives? Lord himmlers?
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: What what happened to black lives? Now? Now they finna
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: call the police on your You've got to get back
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: over to the house because your husband gonna wonder what
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: did they call the police? Own it? Because the choirboy
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: was over here without his shirt on. My neighbor hid
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: my side dude from me and I'm not losing another man.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: He not your man. Your man is at the house,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the one you didn't want, the one that got the
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: other lady pregnant while y'all was married. He your man.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: You nothing to lose another man. He not your man.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: He choir boy, y'all need to do some word research
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: on him because that ain't his only stop. How does
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: this keep happening to me? Because you keep thinking wrong.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: First of all, you took a man back you didn't want.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Then you started sleeping with a man that didn't want you.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: You see what's happening. So everybody is aligned with they
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: needs and ain't nobody caring about none of your needs?
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: You need to take some time to do you be.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: You spend time with you and cut all these losers loose.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: You need to move out the house with you because
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: it ain't working.

- 1:10:55Speaker 1: or what you got for us?
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: All right, well, we got two games tonight.
- 1:10:58Speaker 11: We got the Cavaliers and the Piston and then we
- 1:11:00Speaker 11: have the Spurs and uh, the Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
- 1:11:05Speaker 11: They'll all be playing tonight. But that's not what I
- 1:11:07Speaker 11: need to talk to Tommy and Uncle Steve about. I
- 1:11:10Speaker 11: need to talk to you all about something. And I'm
- 1:11:13Speaker 11: serious about this part.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Just feel like sensitive sports. Now, what's going on?
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: No?
- 1:11:16Speaker 11: No, no, that's all the sports we got, but this
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: is more important. I'm thinking about letting it go. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 11: and I'm thinking about it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: That's the first thing that comes to your mind, Stee
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: that I've been saying it for years.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: But if I do it is Joe, you're gonna say
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: something about me if I do it, as soon.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: As we're gonna show you how to wear the head right. Boy?
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: See see that don't sound wilcoming. You asked me to
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: cut up when I cut it off, Now you're gonna
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: talk about me again.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I'm not. You think I'm thinking's free. I'm gonna say job,
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: well done, Jill. That's what I'm gonna say.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: That's so nice.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: Now it's gonna be today. That's what I'm trying to
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: tell him to.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Oh we got we got to get this on tape,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: so you want.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Me to record? You want me to record it and post?
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Yeah. A bigger question, are you going to the barbershop?
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: Because because that's not necessary, Oh tell him, I'm going
- 1:12:26Speaker 9: to the barbershop.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: For what.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: For him to? You don't do that. Just get them
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: clippers and start going in every direction.
- 1:12:38Speaker 11: Oh no, if you had to go to the bar
- 1:12:41Speaker 11: and then he cut it off, and then what you
- 1:12:44Speaker 11: do after you gotta maintain it yourself.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: M hmm. Go ahead, Steve, talk to him. You don't
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: have nothing to maintain. That's what you need. What are
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: you worrying about? The maintenance.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: So wrong on so many levels.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Boy, you have ever seen people with a rockyard, you
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: know they put rocks in it, like calling a pebble garden.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: You know why they do that because they ain't got
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: rid of all the grass. Nobody did that because there
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: ain't gonna be no more maintenance. Yeah, you ain't got
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: a lot of maintenance. You don't wear maintenance. I can't
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: believe that's what's been stopping you. And you probably be
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: able to go like when you first shave it. You
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: probably be able to go like two three days without shaving, and.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Then he could save money too, right.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Yeah, he's saving money now because when when he leave
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: the barber shot.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: The barbie going, well, I'm gonna do it.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: He can talking to the other bar you think, oh,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: to give him some of this bag food on the
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: full haircut. You gave it to him him.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: I'm finna do it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Go ahead, money, we're looking for it.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: Yeah, money, you won't see it. Man, I'm gonna do it.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: That's a big step. That's a huge step. Coming up
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, my wife wants to
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: know how her husband's clothes disappeared. We'll get into that
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: All right, This is from Gloria in Memphis. Gloria says,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: my man is eleven years younger than I am, and
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: it was obvious when we were on a cruise recently.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: He drank too much every night because alcohol was free
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: with our package deal. I went to bed early and
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: he would stumble in hours later. The last night, he
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: stumbled in with swim trunks on, and he said he
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: didn't know where his clothes were. I bet he wasn't
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: expecting me to be awake. We've been back home for
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: a week and this is an ongoing discussion. He tries
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: to change the subject every time I bring it up.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: And why can't he remember what he did with his clothes?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Should I keep asking him? Or where could they be?
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: Though?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Where could they be?
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: They own day?
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: They're on deck? So how did he lose them on deck?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Because because I had took him, because I had tooken
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: them off and they was they was on the deck.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: So did he throw them over? For I mean, if
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: they were so they threw them away when they found
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: them on deck.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I went to the Found and Lost apartment Lost and Found.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: They didn't see him either.
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Her question is Gloria in Memphis wants to know should
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: she keep asking her husband about these clothes?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Or why should you keep asking me about these clothes?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Or should she cut him?
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: I told you I lost him only for deck.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: You need to stop drinking. I don't understand any.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: I got, I got trunks. What's the matter?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Where are your clothes? I can'ts as your shirt? Where
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: your shoes?
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Where? That's the white lady.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I'm leaving you, all right. We have time for another one.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: This is from Vernon in Tacoma. Vernon says I don't
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: get along with my wife's daughters, and they're coming to
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: visit for the weekend. They plan to stay with their
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: father because they hate me as much as I hate them.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: My wife wants them to stay with us at our house,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: so I told her I'd leave and go visit my
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: son for the weekend. She insists that I stay and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: try to work things out with her smart moth daughters.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I refuse to let them run over me in my house,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: so it's best for me to leave. Why can't my
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: wife understand this. Why is she pressuring me to talk
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: to these grown mean.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Girls going over to your son's house?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: But his wife wants him to stay and try to
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: work it out with the girls, with the daughters.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Hey, your daughters don't like me, never have they hate
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: They don't like me, So my son needs me. Matter
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: of fact, he called yesterday and said, Dad, I really
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: need to talk to you. So I told him I'll
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: be over there. All blended families don't work out.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Wow, Yeah, it's true. Yeah, well the daughters still love
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: their dad probably and they don't like the new husband.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: So yeah, and you know how women can be now,
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: y'all can be some.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: What we can be?
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: What when y'all want to?
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Of course, we're built that way. But she wants them
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: to work it out. Though she wants them to get along,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: she wants him to stay to see if they can
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: try and work this day.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: I want a billion dollars, so what we keep talking
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: about what we want?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: But people can work out their differences. Look at Kat
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Williams and Kevin Hart. They worked it out at Kevin
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Hart's roast. It could happen, Steve, it could happen. I'm
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: gonna I know you didn't say, dub I'm turning over
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: a new leaf June.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: It's doable.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: So what are you saying, You're not going to be
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: holding grudges or you're gonna who name. Well, that's what
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: It's doable means.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: This is doable, this particular situation that we're speaking.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: Of, not Tommy.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Okay, so don't.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Drag me into this now. I said this. Some of
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: them are. This is doable.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of this unforgivable show,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: unforgiving show right after this unforgetable you're listening to the

- 1:25:37Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are Friday, our last break
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: of the day of the week. Thank you guys for
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: hanging with us all week. We appreciate you every day.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: We love you. Yeah, Junior, you have a question for
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Steve before we go.
- 1:25:49Speaker 11: Yeah, you know unk you do so much UNC and
- 1:25:51Speaker 11: you always talk about your season, your season when it's
- 1:25:55Speaker 11: your season, and sometimes we don't even know when it's
- 1:25:58Speaker 11: our season. How many different seasons, Cause you alway talk
- 1:26:01Speaker 11: about planting, in harvesting and when it's your season and
- 1:26:05Speaker 11: how long the seasons last? How do you know when
- 1:26:07Speaker 11: it's your season? What are you looking at?
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Well, here is a deal with seasons. You hear a
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: lot of ministers on ig this is your season. God
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: is about to do something for you. Well, if you
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: think about it, he already has. So when you start
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: talking about seasons, folks, you may be in it right now,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: but because you're not exhibiting the right amount of gratitude,
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: you can miss your season. Because man, God does so
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: much for us on a daily basis, over and over
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: and over that we sometimes take it as routine and
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: we failed to realize that it's grace and mercy that
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: then kept us. Just because you woke up this morning,
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: that's not a giving. That's grace. Just because you have
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: a healthy child, that's not a given. That's grace. Just
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: because you're able to move around able body, that's not
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: a given. That's grace. Just because you were in a
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: co accident and it didn't end at all for you,
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: that's not a given. That's grace. You got to understand something.
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: Joshua Anthony the Fighter, the heavyweight champ over there in London, England,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: was the one that beat Jake Paul in that big fight.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Right after that, he went to Nigeria where he was
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: with a couple of friends with his I met all
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: these guys before, and they were in a co accident
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: and two of the people got killed, and one of
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: them was his greatest friend, and he got killed. Do
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: you know, man, that he and they told him you
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: were one foot away from this being you. Also, his
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: head could have got took taken off in that accident.
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: That's grace. So what I'm saying to you is this,
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: Oftentimes you could be in your season because you're not
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: showing the proper amount of gratitude. You can miss it. See,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: because sometimes we are so focused on what we don't
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: have that we stop realizing what we do have. You
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: stop honoring God for all He's done for you, because
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: you steady won't and won't and won't and won'ting give
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: me this, give me that, give me this, give me that.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: And I'm not known, nah God does it because I'm
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: not capable of thinking like him. But let's just suppose
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: God was saying, you got a lot of nerve. Man,
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: all I've done for you, you ain't thank me for that?
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: Yet and here you are in line with some moa.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: Come on, man, So those seasons you have to be
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: careful of it. H this is my season, don't seem
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: like my season gonna ever come. Season could already be here,
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: but you're not looking at it the right way. So
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: that's my response when people talk to me about seasons
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: and stuff like that, like, yeah, I got a lot
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: of stuff I wish would happen. I'm going through some
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: stuff right now. I wish I was on the other
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: side of it. But I'm so blessed with it, man,
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: because guess what I've learned that even in my ales
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: where I'm taking what I think is a loss, they
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: not lost as them ales as lessons. So even when
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: I'm going through hardships, it's, like I said earlier today,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: it's just preparation. God is preparing you for exactly what
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: you asked him for, but you got to go through
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: it to get to it. And that's what people don't
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: want to do. Everybody wants summer. Everybody wants summer time.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Don't nobody won't winter, don't, nobody won't spring, naw don't
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: nobody want to see the leaves fall off the tree.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: So keep the green leaves. Don't put no no, no,
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: no no. I don't want no winter. You gotta have winter.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: If you didn't have winter, you wouldn't appreciate the summer
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: time for the most part. That's how people are. It's
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: like when you move to Florida, La. You become jaded
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: with the weather. You think it's so nice. It's supposed
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: to be nice all the time. Then it rained one
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: day and I throw you into something. Why, man, I
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: know when I lived out in LA when it started raining,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: people get their phone cameras out, take a picture of it,
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: take videos of it, rain coming down. It's supposed to rain,
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: but you so you so complace it in your life.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Then now they looking at this rain like it's oh man,
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: it's raining. Then the highways is messed up. You need rain,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: You need all of that because it's preparation. Rain prepares
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: you for what you ask God for. But you need
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: the rain in order for the siege to grow. You
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: need all of that. Man, you need winter time to
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: appreciate when summertime get here. You got to put your
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: coat on so you can know how good it feels
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: to walk around in a T shirt. You got to
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: have a raggedy car for a while to really appreciate
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: when you get a new one. If all you've ever
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: had was new cars, you wouldn't appreciate that. I have
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: to check myself sometime because it's been a while since
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: I've been in a raggedy car that I own. But
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: I also have to realize how blessed I am to
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: own them. You know, and quit trivit, man, about what
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: you don't have. And that's why when your season gets here,
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: it could be passing you by because you steady wonting,
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: steady complaining about what you don't have instead of looking
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: at what you do have. You could be in your
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: season right now, or you could be delayed in your
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: season by lack of gratitude. Because if God has done
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: so much for you, has given you so many things,
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: provided you with so much, and you haven't said thank
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: you for that, that could be delay in your season
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: because if you ain't grateful for that, why should He
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: give you more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: That?
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Don't make no sense. That don't make no sense, man,
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: So hope you got something from that. Y'all. Enjoy yourself today, man,
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: have a great week here. Talk to God. Today, he
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: would absolutely love to hear from Peace.
