- 0:00Speaker 1: I want you to imagine being a United States citizen.
- 0:04Speaker 1: This is real life, This is not hypothetical, And I
- 0:07Speaker 1: want you to imagine assuming thinking that you are a
- 0:11Speaker 1: part of the greatest country in the world, that your
- 0:13Speaker 1: country will protect you at all costs, that your life
- 0:17Speaker 1: is valued by the United States government. There is almost
- 0:21Speaker 1: a protective dome around you. Virtually everywhere in the world.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Every human smuggler, every sex trafficker, leader of any terrorist group,
- 0:32Speaker 1: cartel in the world knows there will be a heavy
- 0:35Speaker 1: price to pay if you abduct or kill an American citizen.
- 0:40Speaker 1: That has been universal for my entire lifetime. That's been
- 0:44Speaker 1: universal since World War One. For many people that are listening.
- 0:47Speaker 1: War two, there was a very clear message in the
- 0:51Speaker 1: United States government to anyone in Canada, anyone in Mexico,
- 0:55Speaker 1: anyone in Afghanistan, that if you screw with an American citizen,
- 0:59Speaker 1: there will be held to pay. You also knew that
- 1:03Speaker 1: if you know what hit the fan, that America was
- 1:05Speaker 1: going to have your back because you're an American citizen,
- 1:08Speaker 1: because your life is valuable, your life is important. We'll imagine,
- 1:13Speaker 1: because this is real life now, being an Afghanistan imagine
- 1:17Speaker 1: being one of the ten to twenty thousand Americans who
- 1:20Speaker 1: are caught behind Taliban checkpoints, behind enemy lines, literally and
- 1:28Speaker 1: waiting for the United States Government to come get you,
- 1:30Speaker 1: or at least give you safe passage to them, or
- 1:33Speaker 1: escorting you in a country that we have controlled for
- 1:35Speaker 1: twenty years, that we abandon because of a president who
- 1:38Speaker 1: is still on vacation as we speak. This is the
- 1:43Speaker 1: note that Americans received from the State Department. Dear citizens,
- 1:48Speaker 1: thank you for registering your request to evacuate Afghanistan. This
- 1:53Speaker 1: is the email you get as an American citizen. The
- 1:55Speaker 1: US Embassy in Afghanistan has confirmed that an undefined number
- 2:01Speaker 1: of US government provided flights will soon begin. Then, an
- 2:06Speaker 1: italic bold it says, quote, please make your way to
- 2:11Speaker 1: the international airport at this time, an international airport that
- 2:15Speaker 1: you can't get to because the Taliban has totally surrounded
- 2:18Speaker 1: that airport, even though the American soldiers are on the
- 2:20Speaker 1: ground within the perimeter of the airport. Please be advised
- 2:25Speaker 1: that then says in all capital letters and in bold,
- 2:30Speaker 1: please be advised that the United States Government cannot guarantee
- 2:35Speaker 1: your security as you make this trip. There is no
- 2:39Speaker 1: help for you. There is no American help on the way. Now,
- 2:44Speaker 1: the media has been trying to figure out a way
- 2:46Speaker 1: to blame Donald Trump for all of this. Trump set
- 2:50Speaker 1: down with Sean Hanny on Fox News and explain the
- 2:53Speaker 1: difference between his policy and Biden's and why no Americans
- 2:58Speaker 1: were screwed with when he was president in Afghanistan. Take
- 3:02Speaker 1: a listen. I've had a number of people tell me
- 3:05Speaker 1: that there were very specific conditions and the very specific
- 3:10Speaker 1: warnings that you gave personally to the Talibad. Joe Biden
- 3:14Speaker 1: is trying to blame you. I want first to give
- 3:16Speaker 1: you an opportunity to respond to that. Your assessment of
- 3:19Speaker 1: what's going on and what was that conversation to the
- 3:22Speaker 1: extent you feel you were able to share it with us, Well,
- 3:27Speaker 1: it's good to be with you, Jean. But it's a
- 3:29Speaker 1: terrible time for our country. I don't think in all
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the years our country has ever been so humiliated.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I don't know, would you go to military defeat or
- 3:39Speaker 1: a psychological defeat. There's never been anything like what's happened here.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You can go back to Jimmy Carter with the hostages.
- 3:47Speaker 1: We all thought that was a great embarrassment and we
- 3:49Speaker 1: were pulled out of that by Ronald Reagan. This is many,
- 3:53Speaker 1: many times worse. And you're dealing with thousands and thousands
- 3:56Speaker 1: of Americans and others that are stranded and very dangerously
- 4:01Speaker 1: really stranded, and Afghanistan. So it's something that you can't
- 4:07Speaker 1: even believe that a thing like this could I looked
- 4:09Speaker 1: at that big monster cargo plane yesterday with people grabbing
- 4:14Speaker 1: the side and trying to get flown out of Afghanistan
- 4:18Speaker 1: because of their fear, their incredible fear, and they're blowing
- 4:21Speaker 1: off the plane from two thousand feet up in the air.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It's nobody's ever seen anything like that. That blows the
- 4:27Speaker 1: helicopters in Vietnam away, that's not even a contest. This
- 4:30Speaker 1: has been the most humiliating period of time I've ever seen. Yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 1: we had a great deal. We worked on it very hard.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Mike Pompeo, a brilliant guy, and many others worked on
- 4:41Speaker 1: it endlessly. Meetings with the Taliban, of course, you have
- 4:44Speaker 1: to meet with the Taliban. They're the ones that you're
- 4:46Speaker 1: negotiating with. I spoke on numerous occasions to the head
- 4:51Speaker 1: of the Taliban, and we had a very strong conversation.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I told them up front, I said look, before we start,
- 4:59Speaker 1: let me just tell you right now that if anything
- 5:01Speaker 1: bad happens to Americans or anybody else, or have you
- 5:05Speaker 1: ever come over to our land, we will hit you
- 5:07Speaker 1: with a force that no country has ever been hit
- 5:11Speaker 1: with before, a force so great that you won't even
- 5:14Speaker 1: believe it. And you a village, and we know where
- 5:16Speaker 1: it is, and I named it will be the first
- 5:19Speaker 1: one first dropped right there? You said this to who? Yeah?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Who did you said to who? To Mullah Baradar, who
- 5:30Speaker 1: is probably the top person. Now nobody really knows who
- 5:34Speaker 1: the top person is, but I would say that's probably
- 5:37Speaker 1: the top person. And it seems to be. That's the
- 5:40Speaker 1: way it's rolling right now. But I had a very
- 5:43Speaker 1: strong conversation. I also had a good conversation with him.
- 5:46Speaker 1: We talked for a while after that. I was the
- 5:48Speaker 1: primary point I was making and he understood it. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: I asked him, do you understand? He said, yes, I
- 5:55Speaker 1: do understand. And I wanted them to get a deal
- 5:59Speaker 1: done with the Afghan government. Now, I never had a
- 6:03Speaker 1: lot of confidence frankly in Ghani. I said that openly
- 6:06Speaker 1: and plainly. I thought he was a total crook. I
- 6:09Speaker 1: thought he got away with murder. He spent all his
- 6:11Speaker 1: time whining and dining our senators, and the senators were
- 6:16Speaker 1: in his pocket. That was one of the problems that
- 6:18Speaker 1: we had. But I never liked him, and I guess
- 6:20Speaker 1: based on his escape with Cash, I don't know, maybe
- 6:23Speaker 1: that's a true story. I would suspect it is. Well,
- 6:26Speaker 1: you have to do is look at his lifestyle, study
- 6:28Speaker 1: his houses, where he lives. He got away with murder
- 6:30Speaker 1: and many different ways. But I had a very very
- 6:34Speaker 1: strong talk with the Taliban, which I considered to be
- 6:37Speaker 1: much more important in the sense because they were the problem,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and they've been there for a long time, and they're
- 6:43Speaker 1: good fighters and they fight hard. And after I said that,
- 6:46Speaker 1: we had a pretty good conversation. Now I have to
- 6:49Speaker 1: tell you that if you remember, when they were coming
- 6:52Speaker 1: to Washington to meet with me, they decided to kill
- 6:55Speaker 1: an American soldier because they thought that was a good
- 6:57Speaker 1: way to negotiate. And I can sold the trip and
- 7:01Speaker 1: we had a conditions based agreement, and if you remember,
- 7:06Speaker 1: it said, May first, we want to get out because
- 7:08Speaker 1: we have to get out. I've listened to people on
- 7:10Speaker 1: your show and other shows say we should stay. They
- 7:13Speaker 1: don't know we were spending forty two billion dollars a year.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Forty two billion. Think of it, forty two billion. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: understand Russia spends fifty billion a year for their entire military.
- 7:25Speaker 1: We were spending forty two billion, not one percent. They
- 7:28Speaker 1: were saying one percent. That's a lot of nonsense. We're
- 7:31Speaker 1: spending forty two billion dollars a year on defending this
- 7:35Speaker 1: for years and years. We've been there really now, not
- 7:38Speaker 1: twenty years, but twenty one and a half years, and
- 7:41Speaker 1: we get nothing out of any of these things that
- 7:44Speaker 1: we do, whether it's them or many other countries I
- 7:47Speaker 1: could tell you about. I'm not going to insult anybody
- 7:49Speaker 1: right now, but to spend that kind of money and
- 7:52Speaker 1: then to have people get on shows and say how
- 7:54Speaker 1: inexpensive it was. And I have to tell you also
- 7:57Speaker 1: that we lost no soul in the last year and
- 8:01Speaker 1: a half because of me and because of the understanding
- 8:04Speaker 1: that we had. We lost not to think of that
- 8:07Speaker 1: in Chicago and in New York and in other cities
- 8:10Speaker 1: in the United States, many people die every weekend. We
- 8:15Speaker 1: lost no soldiers in Afghanistan because they knew I wasn't
- 8:20Speaker 1: going to put up with it. Now the world knew
- 8:22Speaker 1: don't screw with the United States of America. They knew
- 8:25Speaker 1: not to screw with them because Donald Trump didn't screw around.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Donald Trump made sure that Americans were always safe. Donald
- 8:33Speaker 1: Trump made sure that your life had a protective dome
- 8:37Speaker 1: over it anywhere in the world, and if you screwed
- 8:40Speaker 1: with us, there would be hell to pay. The dome
- 8:43Speaker 1: that was around Americans of protection anywhere in the world
- 8:48Speaker 1: was a precedent that every president until Joe Biden has followed.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I'll give you an example of how much an American
- 8:56Speaker 1: life was not to be screwed with. When Donald Trump
- 8:59Speaker 1: was president. He tweeted this out July twenty second, eighteen
- 9:06Speaker 1: to the Iranian president Irwani. Never ever threatened the United
- 9:12Speaker 1: States again, or you will suffer consequences the likes of
- 9:15Speaker 1: which few throughout history have ever suffered before. We are
- 9:19Speaker 1: no longer a country that will stand for your for
- 9:23Speaker 1: your demented words, we are no longer a country. Trump
- 9:28Speaker 1: then said that will stand for your demented words of
- 9:33Speaker 1: violence and death. Be cautious. Now Donald Trump can't tweet
- 9:38Speaker 1: anything like that anymore. But the Taliban has Twitter accounts
- 9:42Speaker 1: that they're using to orchestrate their attacks and killing us
- 9:44Speaker 1: at people. Think about that for a moment with big tech,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and you want to know how little this administration values
- 9:51Speaker 1: the American lives, the ten to twenty thousand that are
- 9:54Speaker 1: now in Afghanistan, and we are now seeing pictures of
- 9:56Speaker 1: people being beheaded. We are now seeing pictures of p
- 10:00Speaker 1: poole that are being murdered in the streets. We now
- 10:03Speaker 1: know that people are being dismembered in the streets, all
- 10:05Speaker 1: caught on video. For example, in Jalalabad, they caught an
- 10:09Speaker 1: interpreter that helped American troops. They took him out into
- 10:13Speaker 1: the streets, they cut his arms off, and then they
- 10:16Speaker 1: beheaded him. They also killed his family. They only spared
- 10:21Speaker 1: the ten year old daughter of that interpreter, who they
- 10:24Speaker 1: then gave to the commander of the Taliban for a
- 10:27Speaker 1: sex slave. Of course they call it a wife, so
- 10:29Speaker 1: it's okay. But if you want to know how little
- 10:32Speaker 1: your life now matters, and how little backing you have
- 10:36Speaker 1: from the President of the United States America when it
- 10:39Speaker 1: comes to your life, Biden's adviser. And remember, this president
- 10:43Speaker 1: has not talked to any world leader. This president has
- 10:46Speaker 1: not spoken with anybody while this is going on. To
- 10:49Speaker 1: try to stop it. He's been on vacation m I
- 10:53Speaker 1: A for the last five days. Intelligence we now know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and even the New York Times is reporting this as
- 11:00Speaker 1: we speak. Their headline Intelligence warned multiple times of Afghan
- 11:06Speaker 1: military collapse despite Biden's assurances. This is the New York
- 11:10Speaker 1: Times reporting this now, and Biden's advisors has a message
- 11:14Speaker 1: for all Americans who are stranded. Quote, you should trust
- 11:19Speaker 1: the Taliban for safe passage to the airport. Just when
- 11:24Speaker 1: you thought the Biden administration couldn't mess this up anymore,
- 11:28Speaker 1: the administration came out on TV and laid out one
- 11:31Speaker 1: of the most insane plans that has ever happened in
- 11:35Speaker 1: the history of America evacuations. Their plan to evacuate twenty thousand,
- 11:42Speaker 1: or ten thousand, or fifteen thousand American citizens currently stranded
- 11:45Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. The National Security Advisor Jakesovian held a press
- 11:49Speaker 1: conference yesterday and said the Taliban quote has informed them
- 11:52Speaker 1: that they'll provide quote safe passage for Americans to the
- 11:56Speaker 1: Kable airport. So now he expects stranded Americans just trust
- 12:00Speaker 1: the Taliban, who are beheading people and killing people in
- 12:03Speaker 1: the streets right now. The same regime that helped plan
- 12:09Speaker 1: the nine to eleven attacks and fund the nine to
- 12:12Speaker 1: eleven attacks. Is who the Americans citizens are supposed to
- 12:14Speaker 1: trust allow them to go to the airport while they're
- 12:16Speaker 1: behetting people in the streets. You cannot make this up. Now,
- 12:25Speaker 1: the media, they are trying to give some cover to
- 12:28Speaker 1: Joe Biden and this total fiasco, and how they're doing
- 12:32Speaker 1: it now is by saying, well, Trump is the one
- 12:34Speaker 1: that put this ball into motion. Trump is the one
- 12:37Speaker 1: that set the president to get out of Afghanistan. That
- 12:40Speaker 1: is a lie to get out this way. Donald Trump
- 12:43Speaker 1: would have never left Americans behind and would have never
- 12:46Speaker 1: In fact, there was a date to get out, and
- 12:48Speaker 1: they extended the date because the Taliban didn't keep up
- 12:51Speaker 1: their end of the agreement. And Donald Trump was asked
- 12:54Speaker 1: about that by Sean Hannity listened to how all of
- 12:56Speaker 1: this unfolded when he was the president. You know, it's
- 12:59Speaker 1: interesting to listen to Joe Biden blame you. I inherited
- 13:03Speaker 1: this deal, he kept saying. But he also inherited secure borders,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and he also inherited energy independence, and he also inherited
- 13:10Speaker 1: three vaccines and therapeutics like Regeneron, and we now see
- 13:16Speaker 1: what's been unfolding, and he didn't have inflation at the time.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I want to go back. This is I want to
- 13:21Speaker 1: be very clear here, because because Secretary of State Pompeo
- 13:24Speaker 1: on this program said exactly what you did, that there
- 13:28Speaker 1: wouldn't be an exit strategy that didn't include the current
- 13:31Speaker 1: conditions on the ground. And I have multiple sources and
- 13:35Speaker 1: you're confirming tonight that it sounds to me like you
- 13:40Speaker 1: told the Taliban that if they violated any aspect of
- 13:45Speaker 1: this agreement with territorial ambitions. We learned last week that
- 13:48Speaker 1: sixty percent of the country was in their control, and
- 13:51Speaker 1: you told them in no uncertain terms, sounds to me
- 13:55Speaker 1: like you'd basically treat them like you took care of
- 13:59Speaker 1: the Caliphate and Syria isis well. We did. We get
- 14:02Speaker 1: rid of the Caliphate. Everyone said it was impossible, and
- 14:05Speaker 1: I did it very quickly, and I let the generals
- 14:08Speaker 1: make the decisions. The generals are real generals, the ones
- 14:10Speaker 1: that were over there doing the fighting, the ones that
- 14:12Speaker 1: knew how to do it. Because we have a lot
- 14:14Speaker 1: of generals that shouldn't be generals right now, frankly, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm watching them all the time. But we have some
- 14:19Speaker 1: great ones. We have great leaders in our military. We
- 14:22Speaker 1: have the greatest military in the world, and we're giving
- 14:25Speaker 1: it a very bad reputation. What's happening think of it?
- 14:29Speaker 1: We took this horrible place, I mean, a place that
- 14:33Speaker 1: just we shouldn't have been involved. It was a horrible
- 14:36Speaker 1: decision going into the Middle East that I know the
- 14:39Speaker 1: Bush family will not be happy, but I believe it
- 14:42Speaker 1: was the worst decision in the history of our country
- 14:45Speaker 1: when we decided to go into the Middle East. It's
- 14:48Speaker 1: turned out to be quicksand we've destroyed the Middle East.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And do you think it's better now than it was
- 14:54Speaker 1: twenty twenty one years ago? It's much worse. It was
- 14:57Speaker 1: a horrible decision. Courts us trillions of dollars. And if
- 15:01Speaker 1: you look at both sides, because I like to look
- 15:03Speaker 1: at both sides, millions and millions of lives, and it's
- 15:07Speaker 1: no different that it was. It's much worse because you
- 15:09Speaker 1: have to rebuild. It has been blown to pieces. The
- 15:12Speaker 1: worst decision ever made was going You can do a
- 15:16Speaker 1: strike as retribution, and it could be a big strike
- 15:19Speaker 1: as retribution for the World Trade Center, etc. But to
- 15:22Speaker 1: get stuck in there was like quicksand so we did
- 15:25Speaker 1: a terrible thing. But think of what's happening now. I've
- 15:28Speaker 1: heard as many as forty thousand Americans and the Taliban
- 15:32Speaker 1: good fighters. I will tell you they're good fighters. We
- 15:34Speaker 1: have to give them credit for that. They've been fighting
- 15:36Speaker 1: for a thousand years. That's what they do, is they fight.
- 15:39Speaker 1: The Taliban has circled the airport, and who knows if
- 15:44Speaker 1: they're going to treat us right, you know, all of
- 15:46Speaker 1: a sudden they'll say, well, frankly, if they were smart,
- 15:49Speaker 1: they really and they are smart, and they are smart,
- 15:52Speaker 1: they should let the Americans out. But we've had situations
- 15:56Speaker 1: where you have two or three or four hostages. We
- 15:59Speaker 1: could have four thousand Americans, not to mention others like
- 16:03Speaker 1: people that helped us in Afghanistan. So we've never had
- 16:07Speaker 1: a situation like this. We have forty thousand potential hostages,
- 16:12Speaker 1: a minimum on eleven thousand, but it could be as
- 16:14Speaker 1: many as forty. We have no idea how many. Nobody
- 16:17Speaker 1: knows how many. Now for those Americans trapped, we are
- 16:22Speaker 1: now seeing violence erupting exactly what you would expect from
- 16:26Speaker 1: the Taliban. Jalaabad. Taliban is open fire on protesters for
- 16:31Speaker 1: replacing the group's flag. Hundreds of civilians and Jalabad have
- 16:35Speaker 1: been maskered now to protest replacement of the national flag,
- 16:38Speaker 1: the Afghan flag in public spaces with the Taliban flag.
- 16:42Speaker 1: The Taliban then decided, all right, watch this, and they
- 16:45Speaker 1: opened fire into the crowd. Now, these are the same
- 16:47Speaker 1: people they're supposed to be protecting American citizens while they're
- 16:51Speaker 1: on their way to the airport. An Afghan woman has
- 16:55Speaker 1: also been killed for not wearing a burkhah, shot in
- 16:57Speaker 1: the face after being drug into the street to make
- 16:59Speaker 1: an exam ample of her. This after the Taliban spokesman
- 17:02Speaker 1: went on Twitter, the same place that Donald Trump can't
- 17:05Speaker 1: tweet from, to make new claims that they are going
- 17:07Speaker 1: to quote protect women's rights again. American lives are basically
- 17:13Speaker 1: worth nothing to this president in this White House, and
- 17:16Speaker 1: they apparently are totally okay with this happening right now.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It is a disaster at the White House, and Jensaki
- 17:24Speaker 1: did exactly what you would not want a Press secretary
- 17:29Speaker 1: to do. I want to also make something very clear,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I am not rooting against Joe Biden right now. I
- 17:35Speaker 1: want America and American citizens to be safely removed from Afghanistan.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I don't want them to fail. I want them to succeed.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I've said this for years, even wh though Obama was president.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I want their foreign policy to protect Americans, defend Americans,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and I want us to succeed. I don't want Americans
- 17:55Speaker 1: to be left behind. So I can say, aha, see,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I told you Joe Biden sucked. We are know how
- 18:00Speaker 1: bad of a president is. He's a guy that's just disappeared.
- 18:03Speaker 1: He clearly can't handle the capacity of what it takes
- 18:08Speaker 1: to be the president of United States of America. The
- 18:10Speaker 1: proof of his last five days, he's just abandoned his people.
- 18:13Speaker 1: He's abandoned the country. I remember the debate we had
- 18:17Speaker 1: about who's gonna take the phone call at three am?
- 18:19Speaker 1: With Hillary Clinton? Hell, who's taking the phone call at
- 18:22Speaker 1: three pm? The White House is confirmed he's talked to
- 18:25Speaker 1: no foreign leaders. The White House is confirmed, he's been
- 18:27Speaker 1: on vacation. The White House confirmed he has not talked
- 18:29Speaker 1: to virtually Anybody's basically said, I don't know what to
- 18:32Speaker 1: do with this. I'm right, but you guys figured out.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And the White House Press Secretary was asked by a reporter, Hey,
- 18:40Speaker 1: are Americans even gonna make it out of Afghanistan because
- 18:43Speaker 1: you guys are acting like their lives don't matter. Take
- 18:46Speaker 1: a listen to her response. He mentioned at the top
- 18:49Speaker 1: that about seven hundred people's been evacuated the past twenty
- 18:52Speaker 1: four hours. Technicon officials include ANCIST everybody. John Kirby expect
- 18:58Speaker 1: that number to increase five to nine thousand a day.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Can you talk about what needs to happen between now
- 19:04Speaker 1: and then to ramp the number up? And when you
- 19:07Speaker 1: expected to hear? Sure? We shown It's a good question.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I think what I had been referring to in just
- 19:12Speaker 1: a few minutes ago was the fact that our focus
- 19:14Speaker 1: has been on securing not just the perimeter of the airport,
- 19:17Speaker 1: but also operational capacity at the airport, which of course
- 19:20Speaker 1: is a Department of Defense operation they're overseeing in coordination
- 19:24Speaker 1: with the States Department. And so because we've had success
- 19:27Speaker 1: in that regard, we are hopeful and expect to expedite
- 19:31Speaker 1: additional flights out. So that was not the place where
- 19:34Speaker 1: we were at this time yesterday, and given we've made
- 19:37Speaker 1: progress in their regard, we are hopeful to increase the
- 19:40Speaker 1: number of people American citizens, SIV applicants and others that
- 19:44Speaker 1: we can get out of country understanding that Americans have
- 19:48Speaker 1: been called or look, it's up to them to travel
- 19:53Speaker 1: there at their own risk, their own risk. You hear
- 19:58Speaker 1: this right, Think about what this reporter just said. Hey,
- 20:02Speaker 1: you're you're telling Americans to go to the airport. You've
- 20:04Speaker 1: called them the airport, but you're telling them to go
- 20:07Speaker 1: basically have to fight their way through the Taliban, who
- 20:10Speaker 1: is beheading people at their own risk. Why isn't the
- 20:14Speaker 1: US providing any support, any transportation for them to get
- 20:18Speaker 1: to Cobble. Well, I would just go back to what
- 20:20Speaker 1: our National Security advisor discussed as it relates to the
- 20:24Speaker 1: Taliban and discussions with them about safe passage for people
- 20:28Speaker 1: who are coming to the airport. And we've also seen
- 20:31Speaker 1: I don't have an exact number for you. I'm sure
- 20:33Speaker 1: the Department of Defense and State Department can provide that,
- 20:35Speaker 1: but a large number of American citizens and others making
- 20:38Speaker 1: their way successfully to the airport over the course of
- 20:41Speaker 1: the last twenty four hours. By the way, I love
- 20:44Speaker 1: this so like, well, we had a couple people that
- 20:46Speaker 1: made it, like, you know, a couple hundred. Really, that's
- 20:50Speaker 1: so the other twenty thirty thousand, what about them? In
- 20:54Speaker 1: the last twenty four hours. We also know that the
- 20:56Speaker 1: Taliban has been shooting people around the airport while America
- 21:00Speaker 1: is basically held hostage inside of it. Our troops are
- 21:04Speaker 1: only correcting the interior. They are putting out the exterior,
- 21:07Speaker 1: and we have no roads under our control. All the
- 21:10Speaker 1: roads leading to the airport from the entire country, which
- 21:15Speaker 1: is the size of what Texas, the entire country, every
- 21:20Speaker 1: road that leads to the one airport in that country,
- 21:23Speaker 1: we're saying go to if you're an American citizen is
- 21:26Speaker 1: locked down by the Taliban. Now let me go back
- 21:30Speaker 1: to Trump for just a second, because we've just got
- 21:32Speaker 1: new reports coming out of Cobble now that the Taliban
- 21:35Speaker 1: is searching people's cell phones and they're killing you if
- 21:40Speaker 1: on your cell phone they find the Bible. Many people
- 21:45Speaker 1: in Afghanistan downloaded on their phones the Bible app or
- 21:50Speaker 1: Bible apps, and they're grabbing those phones. And if they
- 21:55Speaker 1: find the Bible app on your phone, the Taliban is
- 21:59Speaker 1: killing those people, is what we were being told right now.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Now that could be an American citizen too. What would
- 22:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump have done differently if the Taliban started doing
- 22:09Speaker 1: this when he was president? He was asked that by
- 22:12Speaker 1: Sean Hannity and listened to his response. Let me go
- 22:16Speaker 1: back to the words you used to the Taliban leader,
- 22:19Speaker 1: because we knew last week that sixty percent of the
- 22:22Speaker 1: country had already been taken over by the Taliban, and
- 22:25Speaker 1: there was no sense of urgency to me under your plan.
- 22:29Speaker 1: If they had taken over five percent, not sixty like
- 22:33Speaker 1: they had last five percent, that was not in your agreement.
- 22:38Speaker 1: What would have happened to them. We would have hit
- 22:41Speaker 1: them very hard. Again, the words are conditions, plural conditions based.
- 22:47Speaker 1: It was an agreement where actually we wanted to get
- 22:51Speaker 1: out by May first, and they violated the agreement. So
- 22:54Speaker 1: it's a great agreement from a lot of different standpoints.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And frankly Biden did and have to even go by
- 23:00Speaker 1: that agreement. He could have done. Look what he's done
- 23:02Speaker 1: to the border. We had the greatest border, southern border,
- 23:05Speaker 1: in the history of our country. We stopped drugs, we
- 23:08Speaker 1: stopped human trafficking, we stopped people from coming in, prisoners
- 23:12Speaker 1: from coming in. Now you'll have I mean, you have
- 23:15Speaker 1: the worst people in the world. They're emptying their jails
- 23:17Speaker 1: into our country. This is like the southern border, but
- 23:22Speaker 1: it's handled even worse. Nobody handled the southern border worse
- 23:25Speaker 1: than him. We had the most secure border we've ever had.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Now we have by far the worst border we've ever had. Well,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Afghanistan is the exact same thing. To think of this.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We have a military. It's holding it. You know. I
- 23:37Speaker 1: got to reduce down to two thousand and five hundred
- 23:40Speaker 1: soldiers and they were doing a good job. It was fine.
- 23:43Speaker 1: It was a smaller force. I took it down from
- 23:45Speaker 1: close to twenty to two thousand and five hundred, and
- 23:48Speaker 1: we were fine. But we have the military there, and
- 23:52Speaker 1: we take the military out before we took our civilians out,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and before we took the interpreters and other We want
- 23:58Speaker 1: to try and help, but by the way, America first. Okay,
- 24:01Speaker 1: the Americans come out first, but we're also going to
- 24:04Speaker 1: help people that helped us. And we have to be
- 24:07Speaker 1: very careful with the vetting because you have some rough
- 24:09Speaker 1: people in there. But we're going to help those people.
- 24:11Speaker 1: But can you imagine now what we were going to
- 24:13Speaker 1: do just very quickly, is we're going to take the
- 24:16Speaker 1: military out last okay, last, the people were coming out.
- 24:21Speaker 1: They were going to come out, but the agreement was violated.
- 24:24Speaker 1: So I held things back because we weren't going to
- 24:27Speaker 1: do anything conditions based, so they weren't fulfill obligations and
- 24:33Speaker 1: condition But here's just a finish. The people come out first.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Then I was going to take all of the military equipment.
- 24:40Speaker 1: We have billions and billions of dollars worth of new
- 24:43Speaker 1: Blackhawk helicopters, brand new that Russia now will be examining,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and so will China and so will everybody else to
- 24:50Speaker 1: figure because it's the greatest in the world. We have
- 24:53Speaker 1: brand new army tanks and all sorts of equipment, missiles,
- 24:57Speaker 1: we have everything. I was going to take it out
- 25:00Speaker 1: because I knew they weren't going to fight. Just one thing,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and I have to say, and this is different from
- 25:05Speaker 1: everyone else. I said, why are they fighting? Why are
- 25:08Speaker 1: these Afghan soldiers fighting against the Taliban? And I was
- 25:13Speaker 1: told some very bad information by a lot of different people.
- 25:16Speaker 1: The fact is they're among the highest paid soldiers in
- 25:20Speaker 1: the world. They were doing it for paycheck because once
- 25:23Speaker 1: we stopped, once we left, they stopped fighting. So all
- 25:27Speaker 1: of the people to talk about the bravery and everything,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I say, everybody's brave, But the fact is our country
- 25:33Speaker 1: was paying the Afghan soldiers a fortune, so we were
- 25:37Speaker 1: sort of bribing them to fight. And that's not what
- 25:40Speaker 1: it's all about. It's a great thing that we're getting out.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But nobody has ever handled a withdrawal worse than Joe Biden.
- 25:48Speaker 1: This is the greatest embarrassment, I believe, in the history
- 25:52Speaker 1: of our country. So when you hear the media say, oh, well, really,
- 26:00Speaker 1: this is Trump's fault, Donald Trump's policy was completely different
- 26:07Speaker 1: than Joe Biden's. Donald Trump would have never allowed this
- 26:10Speaker 1: to happen. And Donald Trump would have made sure that
- 26:13Speaker 1: Americans were not left behind. Donald Trump would have made
- 26:16Speaker 1: sure that if the Taliban screwed would just one American,
- 26:19Speaker 1: it would have been game over. Donald Trump would have
- 26:23Speaker 1: made sure that Americans were not harmed the way that
- 26:27Speaker 1: they were not screwed with when he was the President
- 26:29Speaker 1: of the United States of America. That is a fact.
- 26:34Speaker 1: His policy was not get out by an arbitrary date either.
- 26:37Speaker 1: He moved that date. When things change, you change, you adapt.
- 26:46Speaker 1: But now the Taliban controls the whole country and ten
- 26:49Speaker 1: to twenty thousand, maybe even more, Americans' lives are at risk.
- 26:52Speaker 1: They're on kill lists, and people are being drugged from
- 26:54Speaker 1: their homes beheaded and murdered, and people who have the
- 26:57Speaker 1: Bible app on their phone are being drug out to
- 27:00Speaker 1: the streets and killed. And there isn't a single road
- 27:05Speaker 1: that you can get to the airport that isn't controlled
- 27:08Speaker 1: by the Taliban with checkpoints to kill you. And the
- 27:12Speaker 1: US government of Joe Biden is doing not a damned
- 27:15Speaker 1: thing to save these American lives. He is unfit to
- 27:19Speaker 1: be commander in chief. Make sure, as I've said before,
